Novello Lounge is a laid-back spot that serves up tapas, burgers, and panini, with vegan options available in a quirky setting. As part of the renowned Lounges group, Novello offers an eccentric and casual atmosphere that's perfect for those who appreciate unique experiences. The venue's Instagram-worthy aesthetic and delectable brunch menu make it a must-visit.
Amazing place had a really good breakfast in the morning so they were so accommodating and looked after the dogs so well came back for dinner in the evening. Had a great burger with brisket on top, the rest of the menu looked amazing as well. Really want to try the meze kebab 😋

Popped in for some pre film food, decent selection choices with plenty of variety on the menu. Food and drinks came quickly and was very tasty. Dropped 1 star for the food as I would have liked a little more chicken on the main. Just to note, you cannot book in advance for parties of less than 6 people, this was not an issue for us at 6pm on a Thursday but by the time we left the restaurant was almost full.

Visited for a quick coffee and the service was excellent, polite and friendly staff. Decided to visit again for dinner, the children (18 & 13 years old) and I had a lovely time. Easy to order via app, helpful and polite staff, they’re always busy yet have time to ensure every table is settled and happy with everything. The food is delicious and drinks great, I must admit the coffee is delightful and I’m fussy! A calm and chilled atmosphere despite being busy. Wheelchair access. Ideal for children and families. Situation next to other restaurants and great shopping facilities. A fantastic park (Telford) a couple of minutes walk, which offers fabulous family friendly activities and much more… Overall - Excellent.

We had a wonderful family meal here and as a group of over 10+ people, I was very impressed with the food and how quickly it came. The tables were put together so we could be together which was nice. Our meals were very tasty and they were good sized portions. All the servers were very friendly, and tried to be as helpful as possible. The only disappointment was unfortunately a drink that was knocked over by a member of the team which subsequently ended in the contents swimming around in my handbag and my phone having some damage to the speaker. Accidents do happen, I understand we're only human. But it would have been nice for us to have received a voucher or similar for the inconvenience and damage to my items.

We went to try the Tuesday tapas special offer and were glad that we did. The food actually arrived quite quickly and all together which was good. We both had the 3 tapas dishes with a drink option, so in all had 6 dishes to share and 2 drinks which we felt was good value. The food was very good as was the service. Will definitely return.

A very pleasant place with great food and friendly staff. The dishes are served very quickly!

I come here every so often and it's always a pleasant experience. Today really impressed me though. We dropped by at the height of lunch and it was completely packed. We needed a table for thee but only a table for two was available. She asked us if we'd be happy sitting at a small (2 person) table with an extra chair (flexibility). While she wasn't the only person to serve us and they were all good, throughout our meal she seemed to be like a Tazmanian devil. She was the one that greeted us, she collected our used crockery but she cleaned three of the tables near us, she was brushing & sweeping the next minute and then she was delivering food the next. I'm an Army (British) veteran and I notice things like this. If I'd had ready cash on me I would have tipped, she's what I would term as a "grafter". I don't know who she was (they don't wear name tags) but she wore a mustard coloured dress & had tattoos on both her ankles. I tend to notice people who work hard or provide a good service. In an environment of great staff and great service, she shone.

Breakfast restaurant
Euston Way Beefeater is a delightful pub-style chain that specializes in grilled meats and international favorites, including mouthwatering fajitas. Their breakfast offerings are particularly appealing, especially for families, as one child under 15 can eat free with an unlimited selection of both traditional English breakfast items and continental treats like pastries and cereals. Guests can also enjoy endless Costa coffee and Twinings tea to kickstart their day.
We visited here for our pre-christmas get-together. This was my first visit, and I will definitely be back. Service was second to none, fun, friendly, attentive staff, making sure we were happy at all times. Providing recommendations, which is a bit unusual at a chain restaurant, but very welcome, thank you to Fi our server. The restaurant itself was spotless, no untidy tables and we weren't left sitting with finished plates, fabulous. Toilets too were very clean. In fact it was so good we're intending on having our monthly dinner here. 😊 One of the best eating experiences I've had in Telford. Highly recommend. 😊

This was a brilliant restaurant for lunch, with a warm interior replicating greenery! The Christmas decorations at the time of visit were nice and leather seating is comfortable, counter is neat in itself. I had a diet coke to accompany the fresh Chicken Wings with a delicious spicy sauce, servers were friendly and cleanliness was solid!

Called in for quick dinner before work. Found it a bit pricely for what it is. But managed to find meals under £8 so had chicken sandwich and chips. Service was ok. Food ok. Atmosphere ok.

Absolutely lovely! From the moment we entered the restaurant until we left. Jade and her colleagues couldn't do enough. The food was hot and quick. Service was welcoming without being intrusive! We normally visit for breakfast but will definitely be back for an evening meal. Thank you 😊

We were lucky enough to have Jade G to serve us with drinks tonight. Throughout the evening she was really happy and jovial. A truly professional lady who took pride in her work. Well done to Jade and a BIG thank you.

Went to the beefeater in Telford yesterday and the service and food was absolutely amazing. when you buy a fizzy drink you get unlimited top ups and the staff did it without any prompt. I had a rump steak which came with a mushroom, chips and a sauce. I can say that it was the best I have had for a long time. I strongly recommend this place.
Galactica T — Google review
Worst Beefeater ever. Food was adequate. Staff attitude appalling! We were shown to a seating area for the 6 of us, by the manager, only to find we were allocated a booth with fixed table and seats. As we are not the smallest of adults, we couldn't fit in. When we asked if there was any other tables, we were grumpily told the restaurant was fully booked because of the summer holidays and the hotel was full. I asked if they could pull tables together but got the same reply. A nice gentleman even offered to move if it would help us but he was told the same thing. She begrudgingly offered us a bigger table but we're told we could only have it for an hour ( quite a job in itself with 4 kids ) so we accepted but felt like we being rushed and didn't enjoy our breakfast at all. It didn't help that she was talking at the top of her voice for everyone to hear which was quite embarrassing for us. Before the hour was up we were being watched and the manager and her staff were looking at their watches and talking between themselves while staring at us. Needless to say we hurried out and it's no surprise to say we will never set foot in there again. She even had the same attitude with other guests so at least it wasn't just us, but still, not the greatest start to the day.

Nestled in the heart of the city, Spiceland Indian Restaurant redefines fine dining with its authentic approach to Indian cuisine. This establishment offers a delightful blend of classic and contemporary dishes that cater to health-conscious diners. The menu is a treasure trove featuring must-try items like the Tandoori Mixed Platter and Chicken Tikka Masala, alongside an array of traditional favorites such as Rogan Josh and Vindaloo.
We had a wonderful evening at Spiceland! The two gentlemen that served us were fantastic and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was delicious and everyone commented how lovely their dishes were. The gentleman who took our order clearly knew the menu well and was able to advise us and help us pick what we would like. The restaurant itself is lushly fitted out and very modern but with a twist, it was a brilliant environment and I would happily return. Thank you so much for looking after us, and I look forward to coming back soon!

5 Stars – A True Gem! Spiceland Restaurant is an absolute delight! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The owner, Sag, is incredibly welcoming and goes out of his way to ensure every guest feels valued and comfortable. The food is nothing short of amazing – bursting with flavor, perfectly spiced, and clearly made with love and care. Every dish I’ve tried has been consistently delicious and satisfying. The restaurant itself is spotless and beautifully presented, with attention to detail that adds to the overall experience. Whether you’re visiting for a casual meal or a special occasion, Spiceland never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great food and genuine hospitality

I recently visited Spice Land in Wellington for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a great experience. The menu had a fantastic variety of authentic Indian dishes, and everything we ordered was bursting with flavor. The spices were perfectly balanced, and you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The staff were more than happy to offer recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The only small downside was the limited selection of cocktails and soft drinks, but honestly, the quality of the food more than made up for it. It’s always exciting to discover a new favorite spot, and Spicelannd has definitely made that list. I’ll absolutely be coming back – highly recommend for anyone who enjoys rich, flavorful Indian cuisine in a welcoming setting.

Came with a group of 7 while staying in Wellington. Thought it looked good and smelled great from the outside. When the food came, mine personally was okay. Nowhere near the better curries I’ve had but it is what it is. 3 of the group had masala and weren’t happy with it at all. We all tried it and agreed that it was really bad. When this was brought up to staff, the manager became super defensive, refusing to take criticism, and turning very rude. Then when he got the same energy directed back, he was then upset by this. The 3 that had masala hardly touched their food and didn’t want to pay for it. The owner said that because they asked if everything was okay about 1 minute into people putting their rice and curry onto their plates, that we lost our chance to complain. He then very aggressively demanded we had to pay the bill all as one, and had another rude member off staff to block the door. This one was also very aggressive without good reason. Eventually they took £19 from the bill. (Each curry was £13 if I remember correctly.) For the sake of wanting the ordeal to end, we paid and left. The waiter-come-bouncer then continued to be rude and seemed like he wanted to fight one of us over comments made about the awful service. During the back and forth the owner kept trying to twist the situation to make it seem like we were making a scene rather than himself. I feel sorry for the customers that had to put up with that, but I can wholeheartedly say it was fully at fault of the staff and owner. I cannot recommend you stay away enough. Bad food is one thing, but flat out horrendous customer service is unforgivable.

Wonderful meal had at Spiceland, Wellington, Telford. Food tasty, service good, couldn't do enough for us, price reasonable. This is some where we visit as a couple or as a family and we always receive a warm welcome. Well worth a visit. Wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion. Special thumbs up to Nas.

We thought we would try for a change ( we wish we never bothered it was a waste of money) Order completed online- it arrived prompt. However everything else was disappointing. Food covered in oil, was bland and cold, when we explained to the manager he just insisted they were lentils, and the oil covering the food was juice from a pineapple….. It was oil as clear as day. Food was returned as prompt as it arrived, where he informed if 30% of the food was remaining he would refund. Well that was A LIE!! 99% of the food had been returned. And no refund!!! Frankly I would avoid, unapproachable and rude, if you can’t take criticism which is honest you shouldn’t really be in business. I only wish I took photos before we returned the food.

We booked online. Very friendly when we went in. Shown to our table. Place looks lovely. The owner came and spoke to us and the waiters were all very friendly and answered any questions we had. Food came out nice and quickly and we were asked if we were ready for our mains after we finished our starters which I thought was good as you sometimes aren't ready. The food tasted fantastic. Would definitely recommend coming here. We were even offered a complimentary baileys at the end. Went again this evening. All still very good.

Telford offers a variety of options for the weekly grocery shopping, including Sainsbury's, two Aldis, and an Iceland Food. Additionally, Wellington Market is nearby and offers a wide selection of food stalls selling fresh produce and artisanal goods. The staff at Sainsbury's in Telford are known for their helpfulness and accommodation. Customers can also enjoy the convenience of a café within the supermarket where they can grab a bite to eat.
It's not a massive store compared to other supermarkets but has most things, also some unusual items not found in other places. Plus, it's got food isles from other countries. There are 2 large car parks with free parking. Designated places for wheelchairs and parents and kids. It's in a good location near other high street branded stores.

Love the meal deal, think it’s excellent value. Why oh why though, do they continually mix up the snack section so I inevitably get to the checkout to find my snack is not part of the deal!! I can’t help but think it’s a deliberate ploy so some people end up paying the full price as they haven’t noticed the price increase or are too time restricted to go change the ‘rogue’ snack! It really is annoying not only for the customer but the staff who have to clear he checkout screen whilst another snack is being hunted down :0(
Amanda R — Google review
I've shopped here for years and I have to speak up, because things have become so much worse. Firstly: I don't know how they store it, but bread from this store is almost always stale, even when still in-date. Secondly: Stop ramming as many products as you possibly can around the entrance/exit. Just before Christmas it became nearly impossible to get out with a trolley, as the area after the checkouts was rammed full with plants. What's even the point of doing this? I've already DONE my shopping when I reach this area! Thirdly: I do my mother's shopping here as she's too ill, and we have an understood phrase that I use when I get back with it - "Sorry, it was on offer." Whenever a product is on a special offer, that's it - you can't get it again until the offer ends. Whether it's a particular brand of bread, deli spread, cranberry juice, alcohol, cake, or anything, it doesn't matter - if it's on offer, it's *guaranteed* to be indefinitely out of stock. This is *infuriating* when it applies to products we regularly purchase and rely upon. I appreciate that *sometimes* things will go out of stock, but if they are out of stock on *multiple visits per week for weeks on end*, you're doing restocking wrong! Please, for the love of everything, get better at restocking your products! I'm sick to death of having to travel to another supermarket to get basic products! The second star is entirely thanks to your frontline (non-management) staff. Every time I've needed help, even when they're clearly busy, they've all been lovely.
FruitOfTheLum — Google review
It's a good sized store with a lot of products on offer, not the biggest store I have been to but easy to navigate and isles are a good width...

The store also features a cafe, opticians, pet supplies, clothing section, fresh flowers, and home goods. Customers appreciate the friendly staff and clean facilities.

If I could give it no stars I would Had to take my brain damaged disabled partner with me. Who got disorientated in the store and bumped into people. So I had that on my hands as well as trying to shop. Received a £70.00 parking fine I spent £50.00 in the store. Where is the payment machine at the front of the store for parking Where is the sign telling you to pay Where is the payment machine for paying as you go up the elevator. I was there less than 1 hr. WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS STORE AGAIN.

Shocking, I’ve had groceries from here before and no problem but this time a lot of the items were either out of date or damaged. There was a slug on the celery, the lettuce was brown, the coke cans were pierced, the tomatoes had mould on them to name a few. The worst thing was they refused without recourse to refund 2 of the items ! You literally can’t dispute a refund with them either - I got an email saying they’d decided and I was not able to reply. That was the celery and the cola. Not that they will care but they’ve lost a customer. My advice, don’t waste your money.

Used scan & go, a lot of items on offer are not coming up on the scan gun. Bit disappointing, so we held off on buying these items. It’s a decent store overall, plenty of parking but not many small trollers whilst dozens of big ones.

This is a great Asda store. It is a large Asda superstore on the upper floor with a car park below. It has travellators, which take your trolley safely up into the store or large lifts. It has a wide range of products, as do all Asda stores. They have a great range of cakes that taste great and are an ideal store to kit yourself out fully for any celebration. An improvement for me would be for this store to also sell my childs favourite drink- 'Supermalt', so l didn't have to travel to the Wolverhampton Superstore to purchase it. Parking is free as long as you remember to collect a parking code at the till, after spending £5 and then scan it before leaving, so you are allowed 3 hours of free parking. It is positioned in Telford city centre so you could also visit other stores if you would like to. It has an Asda petrol station on site, and prices vary. I usually find Wolverhampton has cheaper petrol than Telford. Asda Telford is a good store, of which l highly recommend visiting, good prices, a great range of products, good value for money. And the added bonus of 3 hours parking in Telford city centre.

£100 PARKING FINE through post! Got fined for less than 1 hour of parking. AVOID!!! Letter issue date was 11th on August and I gone on holiday on the 15th so letter must have arrived solid 4 days after issuing. I just got back and saw this monstrosity, barely scraping by by to pay £60. No clear signage! No ticket machines! I'm not the only one that got fined, check other reviews. I'm not even local so can't just pop in to store to dispute this. Edit: I've got my £60 back. Don't give up and threaten them. They do have an online form which, surprise surprise is well hidden within Horizon's website. You have to Google it for direct link.

So I popped in today to grab some orange juice, my second time in an Asda as we don’t have one where I live. Went the aisle with the juices, it was under milk cream and world foods?? Anyway, there were 2 price labels, both said Je Juice, one was £1.42 and the other was £0.76, I accidentally picked up the £1.42 because I thought they were both the same and so thought it was going to be 76p for the juice I picked up, however I picked up the more expensive one. The only reason I made this mistake was that I went back after I had paid to go and see and double check the price tag and only then did I notice that one carton says Orange Juice and the other says “Orange Juice Drink” however the price tags have no way of indicating this to people as the descriptions are the same. They need to sort this and make it a bit more clear.

Aldi is a retail chain offering a variety of grocery items, meat, and dairy products at reasonable prices. The store features weekly special offers on household goods, toys, and clothing. Customers appreciate the quality of items available and find it convenient for purchasing groceries. The modern store layout with spacious aisles and ample parking makes shopping hassle-free. Despite being busy at times, the friendly staff provides great customer service to regulars and newcomers alike.
Excellent value for money, especially these days, and very helpful staff. Much-improved products. And let's not forget the special offers. I would recommend it to anyone. A new magazine every week, explaining or the new special offers and events

I love Aldi. But I love it even more now. The staff are just excellent. I lost my AirPod in amongst the condensed milk. I started to look for it and a member of staff came to help me. Her name was Dion. We could not find it. It was like a needle in a haystack! She asked for my number and said that she would have a good look for it. A few days later, she texted me to say that she had found it! Now this is superb service. Thank you so much, Dion. You are an amazing representative of an already brilliant supermarket. I think the produce excellent here, but the staff are always so very happy to help and always up for a chat. Can’t thank you enough Dion. You are a real credit to Aldi. ❤️

Located at Telford town centre, it has its own customer car park which has up to 60 minutes free parking (recently changed from 90 minutes), just enter your vehicle registration number on one of the monitors located at the packing area before you leave the store. Great for popping in for a few bits and pieces, or a big shop, store has plenty of space and is especially good for the disabled with disabled parking near the front of the store. The store is well kept and clean, shelves are well stocked and tidy, and friendly helpful staff. There are toilet facilities which is duel purpose disabled.

I do think that if companies use this service they should ask for your car reg at the checkout. I’ve never had to do this at any Aldi carpark before so wasn’t looking for it.

Supermarket

Tesco Extra is a bustling supermarket with well-stocked shelves and a wide variety of pastries. While some customers found the croissants to be dense and dry, others appreciated the helpful and resourceful staff who assisted them in challenging situations. The store's convenient hours make it a go-to destination for last-minute shopping, even on busy weekend mornings.
Very large store just off the M54 on Wrekin Retail park, plenty of parking for up to three hours. Typical retail superstore where you can buy pretty much anything with a large clothing section on the upper level. Worth visiting.

Ameena lacks customer service skills to the highest level. She was overly disrespectful and had no respect for me whilst I was there. I am a loyal customer to Tesco but fear I will no longer return to this store until she is gone! I am appalled by her behaviour and utter disrespect she gave me and my family. She laughed in our faces, told me my id wasn’t valid and that I can not buy the item I wanted to purchase. Really disappointed with my experience today and wish to have her removed from this store. You should not take pride in this employee and it is clear she needs more training.

I have got to say I love this store for shopping, the cafe breakfast is lovely and there coffee is gorgouse! BUT, every toilet upstairs and down is absolutely disgusting, broken door locks, wet floors, over flowing nappy bins, non working hand dryers and to top it off today in the cafe toilets disgusting loo brush with s##t all over it! They all smell and are un kept, I once complained to the cafe staff but was told toilets are nothing to do with them! PLEASE sort your toilets out!

I do like this Super Store, but I have one big gripe. Can't the store make some effort to tell their customers not to abandon the trolleys in the car park, at least put up a sign at the store exit asking customers to put their trolleys back in the storage areas. With all the stormy winds we have been having, I can only imagine the amount of cars that have been damaged by trolleys on the move. On Monday after my shop I took my trolley and one other abandoned one to the nearest storage area, only to find that some selfish individual had dumped their trolley behind my car. I realise a lot of the problem is that these people with the IQ of a keep left sign, say to themselves that its the job of the store personnel, these are the same types who leave litter and dog muck for someone else to deal with. I suggest that Tesco invest in some form of camera system to at least scare some of these unsocial persons

At the mid-point on the journey of life I found myself in need of bread and milk, I crossed the threshold into Tesco—only to realise I had, in fact, descended into the very depths of hell. The automatic doors yawned open like the gates of Hell itself, ushering me into a realm of fluorescent-lit torment, where the damned shuffled listlessly through overcrowded aisles, condemned to an eternity of half-price disappointment and unexpected item errors in the bagging area. By the entrance stood the security guard with piercing eyes, watching the lost souls with the quiet detachment of one who has seen it all before. The bakery section was a circle of its own, where the desperate clutched at the last reduced loaves like lost souls scrabbling for salvation. In the chilled aisle, a frozen wasteland of forgotten dairy and mismatched yoghurts, I saw shoppers staring into the abyss, contemplating expiry dates as though divining their own fate. Then came the queue for the self-checkouts—a modern reimagining of Limbo, where customers hovered, uncertain, between salvation and an eternal wait for assistance. “Please remove the item from the bagging area,” echoed from the machine, a mechanical lament, as the weary travellers sighed and sought the red-lit gaze of an overworked attendant, offering brief respite in a land of relentless despair. And so, with my provisions secured and my soul battered by the experience, I emerged back into the night, leaving behind that forsaken place, knowing full well I would return—because, in the end, there is no escaping the inevitable pull of Tesco.

Toilets in the place need a deep clean There was 💩 poo all over the toilet cubicle & around toilet roll dispenser The floors & walls were grubby like they haven't been cleaned properly or not at all for a while

Chinese restaurant
Vineyard Cantonese Restaurant has recently undergone a transformation under new management, and the results are nothing short of impressive. Known for its authentic dishes, this eatery offers generous portions that cater to both meat lovers and those seeking vegetarian or vegan options. Diners rave about the comforting flavors served hot and fresh at reasonable prices.
Had a lovely evening here, excellent quality and quantity of food with very friendly staff. Although a little pricey but worth every penny. I will be going back there. We also won a prize!

2023 review: This place has changed hands again! And now it's excellent again 😁 The chowmein is particularly good 🤌 and the staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive. 2021 review: We've been going to this restaurant for years and it has always been amazing, but I think it recently changed management or something and now the food is completely different. The yuk sung now tastes of butter and the other dishes weren't as good as they were either 😞 Previous review: Fantastic! Great food, and loads of it. The starters of Yuk sung and sack pancakes were particularly tasty. Highly recommended.

This cozy spot boasts an inviting atmosphere where families can feel right at home. The menu is a treasure trove of comforting soups, delectable milkshakes, and traditional Bulgarian desserts that are sure to please any palate. Very good atmosphere, very homey feeling. The service was lovely and the food very tasty. Prices are very reasonable. Kid friendly and the kids corner was a big hit with our little one 😊 would recommend!

I always stop next this place to pick up my son at school down the street (it takes between 10 and 15 min) I was just thinking about come and eat at Black Sea exactly this week to celebrate Easter Holiday beginning but now I don’t have any interest just because a lady that said she works at Black Sea was very rude at the parking lot (that isn’t private) and claimed that the place I’ve parked “belongs” to her and I should use the second one. It was quite rude and now because one person I won’t return even close here and I won’t recommend as well.
