Eclectic restaurant
Restaurant
Salt is a modern, upscale restaurant located in downtown Juneau, Alaska. It offers regionally inspired New American cuisine and an extensive wine list. The restaurant underwent a half-million-dollar renovation to create a more welcoming and modern atmosphere, featuring sleek red, black, and white decor. In addition to its sophisticated dishes without pretension, Salt also boasts an excellent craft cocktail program.
The food, service and ambience were perfect. This was easily the best dining experience I’ve had in Juneau. I had a craving for a cheeseburger and it was amongst the most delicious I’ve ever had. The beer selection is solid. I ordered the cheesecake for dessert along with a wonderful Expressotini. Prices are on par with restaurants around of similar caliber in the lower 48. My server was perfectly attentive and very pleasant :)

Nice and cozy atmosphere—comfortable and pretty. We enjoyed the ambiance. The service was good, but the waiter forgot to place our oyster order, so we never received them. At this point, most restaurants usually offer forgotten items as a complimentary gesture. The host behaved decently but wasn’t particularly welcoming. The cocktails were excellent—especially the France 75 and Pearfection. We asked for them to be made less sweet and really enjoyed the result. The food was okay. The “Eggplant and Basil” dish somehow turned out to be pasta, and the "basil" consisted of just two leaves. Given the price, we expected a nice, freshly made basil sauce or something more special. Our waiter didn’t explain the menu as thoroughly as the one who was serving the neighboring table. The Tortellini Reggiano was tasty, but the pasta itself was dry and seemed a bit old. The chicken, however, was good and flavorful.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A True Gem in Downtown Juneau! Salt is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Juneau. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between modern and cozy, making it a great spot for date nights, special occasions, or just treating yourself to a really good meal. The space feels upscale but still very inviting and relaxed. The food is consistently phenomenal — thoughtfully crafted, beautifully plated, and absolutely delicious. Their menu showcases fresh, high-quality local ingredients, with a great variety of seafood, meats, and vegetarian options. The seasonal specials are always worth trying, and their desserts are just as impressive as their entrées. The bar is also a standout. They offer creative craft cocktails, a solid wine list, and local beers — it’s a great place to grab a drink even if you’re not staying for dinner. Service is always warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do and they genuinely care about creating a great dining experience. Salt truly feels like a special part of Juneau’s food scene. If you’re visiting, this is a must-try. And if you’re local, you’ll want to come back again and again.

Very disappointing meal, with a memorable server who we really liked. For the price, you'll be expecting serious skill in the kitchen. But really, it's just luxurious proteins fussed over with too many ingredients, and all 3 dishes I tasted were too sweet. The bone marrow is smothered in herbs and pickled onions and some sweet fruit preserves. The bread was great though. The king salmon was served over cold rice (I asked, cold on purpose, but not a good idea) and again, sweet fruity sauce all over it. The shallot split into a pretty flower on the side still had the skin on it, so when I took a bite I had a big wad of skin to spit out. The zucchini noodles under that shallot were just okay, we've made better at home. My wife got the sablefish, which was the best dish, but it too was too fussy and too sweet. Our server was a terrific young man who we enjoyed talking to a lot, so we tipped well, but I thought the food was just bad. It's a nice quiet room to be in, but it didn't salvage the meal.

We had are reception here after having our small destination wedding in Juneau. The service is received from the first point of contact was first rate and the service day of was excellent as well. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed all course we ordered and the staff was patient and kind in accommodating our needs. Thank you to everyone who made our big day great.
Ted H — Google review
The sablefish was phenomenal as well as the crab bisque. The gnocchi and caprese salad were good. And the lamb tenderloin was okay. Our server, Drake, provided us with the best service we have received since moving to Juneau. Thank you for the experience. We will be back.

SALT is literally the only fine-dining spot in Juneau, so it could easily be mediocre without much competition. Instead, each dish is delicious and thoughtfully prepared! They use truly local ingredients, which is difficult in this part of the world, leading to a noticeable price increase. But if you're looking for really good upscale seafood in Juneau, this is the spot.

Great place to eat and drink. Had Erica the first night food and service was great. Second night had Scott the bartender waiting on us. Spent over $300.00 then he gave us our bill without asking and made us feel uncomfortable and we left.

The Hangar On The Wharf is a popular spot in Juneau, housed in a converted 1930s airplane hangar on an old wooden pier. It offers a diverse menu and over 20 beers on tap. Visitors can enjoy their drinks while taking in the stunning views of the harbor and surrounding peaks from the balcony. The venue also serves freshly caught seafood such as halibut, king crab, and wild salmon year-round.
Such an amazing experience! After so many days of cruise buffet food and tourist traps, this place was legit. Everything is homemade. The portions are perfect, above average. The quality is very high. It's a very convenient walk from the cruise ports. It's in a building with other businesses, it seemed a little odd getting there. But once you're there, it is beautiful, great experience and pictures. The food though, amazing! I got a burger and the shrimp and washed down with the grasshopper mint chocolate chip pie, which I can't explain how good it was. The decor, was all of aviation and so many plane tanking from the ceiling. The view was breathtaking as you get to see all the mountains right out the big windows. The Hanger is a must, you'll be happy that you did.

Located in the heart of Juneau, next to port where usually Quantam of the seas docks in the blue colored building next to it. This is a busy place and usually there is a wait about 20 mins. We ordered lazy suzy, king crab, fettuccine and the soup. The soup was delicious and savory. The highlight is the crab meat, very fresh. Visit if you can and support local business

Visiting. Abby was an absolute gem! We sat by the bar and were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery from our seats. The establishment is ADA friendly (ample space for my husband to navigate his electric wheelchair) and has a very cool vibe. We ordered the oysters, Caesar salad, wings, and pretzels. All were great choices.
Hina K — Google review
Beautiful view! Good food. Good beer selection. Ended up here after a local said she eats here weekly. It is a great place. There was a 20-minute wait for a table, but the bar was open. The bartender was on top of things! He had the order in fast and correctly. The bar ended up being a nice place to chat with more locals! I had the salmon burger. Excellent!!! The only ding was the sweet potato fries. You have to pay more for them, and they were soggy. They were still tasty. There are pool tables upstairs if you have time to play.

The line is long, but definitely worth it! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was amazing. I tried the “chowder of the day,” made with halibut and salmon. It was the best chowder I’ve had in Alaska—so creamy and flavorful. It came with sourdough bread and crackers. The garlic-flavored bread was served hot, which made it even better. Overall, I had a wonderful lunch and would highly recommend this place.
Sae K — Google review
I really enjoyed the crab here and the salmon soup. I didn’t think the salmon soup in the bread bowl was going to be that good but it was honestly the best thing on the menu besides the crab. I also tried some of the shrimp but those were just so so. The prices were reasonable for Alaska, especially in a tourist area. We sat outside and got a great view of some of the sea planes landing. It was a perfect evening and the weather was just right in early September. It’s in a short walk from the cruise ships and there are buses. That’ll take you back-and-forth to the downtown area. I definitely recommend checking out this area even if you don’t eat at this restaurant, but if you do it at this restaurant, then you’ll enjoy the food because it was very delicious.
J T — Google review
Great atmosphere! Watched planes landing and taking off on the water. We ordered the seafood chowder and the grilled salmon. Salmon was way over cooked, dry and leathery. Sent it back to the chef, the second one was better, but not great.

Aug 2, 2025 we went to Juneau to Celebrate our 45th Wedding anniversary. Every year we choose a different restaurant and fly there. We had a few choices in Juneau but settled on The Hanger. They did not disappoint! No, it’s not a fancy dress up place or even very romantic unless you love Airplanes as much as I do! After 45 years, I think my wife and I have figured it out. I had the Grilled Halibut, she the Macadamia crusted Halibut and the consensus was….. Fresh Halibut should be eaten simply grilled with butter! Don’t get me wrong, she also enjoyed the Macadamia, however it masked the wonderful flavor of the Halibut. Oh yeah, we also ordered 1 pound of King Crab just to top it all off. Delicious. We had reservations for a window with a view, which we showed up a bit early for, but within 15 minutes we were at our table enjoying the view. “Tag Teamed” by a Mother and Daughter waitress team, (Sorry you guys I didn’t write down your names but I’m sure the establishment can get you the accolades you deserve). We were never without great service and they didn’t even know it was a special occasion! Once Mom found out, she removed the Cream Brule from our ticket even though I insisted she didn’t. Make a reservation, however they wait isn’t bad if you don’t and the Bar is always open!!! Worth any wait. Thanks again John & Trish Tempe, Arizona

In Bocca al Lupo is a seasonal Italian restaurant known for its Neapolitan-style pizzas, classic pastas, and delightful antipasti, verdura, and seafood specials cooked in a woodfired oven. The restaurant's ambiance exudes rustic charm with a touch of humor and often features live music in the open kitchen.
Best in Juneau in terms of quality culinary execution and skill. Great use of ingredients, and creativity. This would be a very good restaurant anywhere, and it is great in Juneau. Dining room is a little loud. Sitting at the bar is fun. Deli is a little less warm feeling, but quieter and easier for conversation. Great gelato, take and bake etc. I really like the take home stuff from the deli. I miss the old pastry chef, but they still have good desserts. Eat here. Check the specials.

This place was amazing. We had heard about it online and heard that I had been nominated for a James Beard award. So we walked to it at the end of the night before we got on our cruise ship. We didn’t have a reservation so we were able to eat in the small area by the restroom and a cute little side table area. It was wonderful because we just wanted to try the pizza and have a beer. Crisis are great. Service was great. Pizza was wonderful. The actual restaurant is adorable with a big Woodfire pizza oven and fun artwork. I was very impressed that in the super packed restaurant we were able to walk in the street sit down at a little table and eat our pizza. The lady in charge of the kitchen was awesome super friendly. Everything was spotless and clean. Very impressed. Easy to access anywhere in town. Short walk.Very unassuming.

One of the best dining experiences in Juneau! The lads making pizzas with the wood fire oven are true experts - delicious dough, perfectly crisp, with just the right amount of topping. The crab gnocchi was pillowy and decadent. The hot honey cauliflower was unique and delicious. Chocolate tart was precisely made and smooth. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Very welcoming atmosphere and the food and service were impeccable. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed this restaurant! Got the shells and cheese with the smoked chinook and there was a good portion of fish. First time trying chinook and it was quite yummy. Also the meatburner pizza was a hit. Reasonable prices for a nice restaurant.

Great authentic brick oven pizza and delicious Italian dishes. The Thunderdome was a fun and tasty appetizer choice, and the Juneau Salad was excellent. Friendly service—highly recommended for anyone visiting Juneau
Jaime C — Google review
The restaurant is my absolute favorite place in Altea. I've been here 4 times in total and I hope to have many more visits. I've tried my way all through the Pizza to the Carne and the additional Pasta. Everything was always with fresh ingredients in a perfectly timed manner. During our latest visit we had Abby attending to all our needs. She was such a friendly server and is very fluent in English. No order got wrong and all drinks and food arrived even with our extra wishes in consideration. In Bunco Al Lupo is worth your time and money.
Kevin V — Google review
I wish I could make this a 6 star review because that's what this restaurant deserves! We were so lucky to grab a reservation (which you need) at this amazing place. The wood fired Calabrian spice cauliflower appetizer (which is HUGE!) was like nothing we've ever had before. And we also ordered a Salsiccia pizza which was so delicious! Then you add the personalized, sweet staff ... well, now you know why 6 stars is what they deserve!
Joy K — Google review
Pizza: good ingredients, good preparation. Oven is a bit too hot for that style of pizza napoletana. Cook it, dont burn it. No garlic oil unless you call it garlic pizza. Margherita is without garlic. Cold cuts and cheese appetizer: not happy with that at all. Prosciutto slice broken and not good looking. Salame gone, bad color. Cheese tiny pieces, you can barely taste them. vegetables and bread were nice! Thunderdome: good and crunchy In Juneau this is a very good restaurant to visit, italian based cuisine, not far from real Italian!

Bullwinkle's Pizza Parlor, a beloved Juneau institution since 1973, has maintained its charm and popularity over the years. With two locations in downtown and Mendenhall Mall, it continues to attract loyal customers with its delicious pizza that has only gotten better with time. In addition to their renowned pizzas like the Taco pizza, Bullwinkle's also offers tasty sandwiches and an extensive salad bar.
They really helped us out when we got a late start on dinner. Food was awesome! Service was even better!

Found this place while walking around after getting off our cruise ship. The garlic chicken pizza was fantastic.

Wonderful pizza joint. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We order a pizza and beverage to dine in. The pizza 🍕 was good. We love this crust, which Bullwinkle's offered. My suggestion would be to increase the quality of cheese and create a Napoleon pizza crust with cornmeal. We didn't have the salad bar but it looked good and fresh. Several patrons did have salad. Fun place to visit.
Peggy S — Google review
We were visiting Alaska and after many very enjoyable seafood meals, we were ready for comfort food. Bullwinkle’s was absolutely the right choice! Delicious, thin crust pizza with so much on it! If I make it to Alaska again, I will be sure to return!

We visit Bullwinkle's every time we're in Juneau. In fact, we visit Bullwinkle's A FEW TIMES every time we're in Juneau. It's family-friendly and the food and service is consistent; when you've got a 5-year-old those things go a long way when it comes to dining out. We're always happy with the pizza, and we all have a really excellent time playing the arcade games. The taco pizza is my personal favorite, and my daughter is never disappointed by their pepperoni. The service is largely serve-yourself (they have fountain sodas and offer a salad bar, and patrons are expected to take their plates and cups to the dish station when they're finished) and that's just fine with us!
Leslie M — Google review
Researched restaurants that are gluten free in Juneau and unfortunately there is basically nothing to choose from except this place and another pizza place. Went here on 7/30/21 for lunch. My husband and I were the only people in the restaurant which isn't a great sign but whatever. I asked the cashier if they had gluten free pizza because I have Celiac disease, and he said they did, but only in a 9 inch. We ordered two 9 inch pizzas, with one being gluten free ($15.34) and my husband's being a regular crust with two toppings ($11.87.) Also, there isn't an option to not tip when you run your card, despite the fact they don't deliver the pizza to your table, they don't even offer you water, or wait on you in any way. The employees were gone when we looked around to see if we could get a water. These two very different sized pizzas came out. I went back and asked which one was gluten free and also said these are clearly very different in size. The cashier and another guy said they gluten free crusts are pre-made as 10 inches (?) and that my husband's pizza was definitely 9 inches. No it wasn't. My pizza tasted fine but it was way bigger than my husband's pizza. I gave him a few slices of mine and asked if the crust tasted different because it was gluten free. He said it was drier. Not even 10 minutes after we left, my husband had to pull the car over for me to throw up. Whatever I ate had gluten in it and was making me sick. I'm guessing there was major cross contamination for me to get that sick, that quickly. Between: - getting sick right after leaving - no option to not tip - no water offered - clearly two different sized pizzas when we ordered two 9 inch pizzas It's a 1 star experience.

Donna's Restaurant is a classic Juneau establishment that has been serving up simple American comfort food since 1984. This unassuming diner is a favorite among locals and visitors alike, offering all-day breakfast and hearty homemade meals. It's not uncommon to see multiple generations of friends and family enjoying a meal together at Donna's. The restaurant is known for its delicious breakfast dishes, with the homemade touch that makes them feel like home.
Friendly…prompt service. Waitress present , without “hovering “. Food was delivered quickly and accurately. Huge portions were nice after an exhausting day of traveling. Food was great! I especially liked the Veggie sandwich. Amazing choice of veggies and cheeses. Fantastic flavor. The French dip sandwich and fettuccine Alfredo were hits with my family.

All the employees are super friendly. They do have fast service and good food. And lots of food. I have eaten hair several times in the past two weeks and I have never cleared my plate. Always leave happy and full.

The waitress we had was just absolutely adorable. I didn’t get her name, but she is from Greece I believe. The sandwiches were huge. Definitely could’ve shared. Between the four of us, we had two French dips, hot, submarine sandwich, and a patty melt. The only complaint I have is the bathroom needed to be updated about 20 years ago. The french fries are delicious. They’re crunchy on the outside and crunchy on the inside and the onion rings are delicious. The onion rings have a sweet taste, which I absolutely loved.

Quick work trip to Alaska. Donna’s was walkable from our hotel! Very nice staff and large delicious portions!
Amanda C — Google review
We thought this was just ok. The food wasn’t anything to rave about, just normal diner food. It also took a really long time to get the food…probably 45-60 mins. Staff was nice, but wouldn’t go back.
Finicky F — Google review
A Local Spot for Homestyle Breakfast We stopped in at Donna’s based on the menu and the packed parking lot—a good sign when you’re looking for a solid breakfast spot. The place was absolutely crowded. We ordered pancakes, which were large, fluffy, and just what you’d hope for. I also had the biscuits and gravy. While the gravy itself was a bit of a letdown (pretty bland and lacking the sausage you’d expect), the biscuit underneath was fine. On the other hand, the hashbrowns were excellent—I’d asked for them well-done on both sides, and they came out perfectly crisped. This is a great place to stop after a long flight into Juneau—comfort food, friendly vibes, and a bustling local crowd. I’d definitely go back, though next time I’d like to explore more of the menu to find a favorite.

Just had 1 morning in town before catching our ferry to continue on our travels. It’s also walking distance from our hotel, so loved the convenience. They opened at 6:30am promptly and there were already people waiting to get it. Lots of seating available, very clean! They were ready for us with hot coffee and immediate service. The prices were a little high, but when that’s your only option you know you have to go with the flow. We had the chicken fried steak, English muffin sandwhich, and cinnamon roll. Generous portions and great service made it absolutely worth the cost.

Nestled in the heart of Juneau, Valley Restaurant is a beloved diner owned by the Carillo family, who have deep roots as original Alaskeros. This charming eatery has been delighting locals for decades with its diverse menu that features both traditional American breakfast staples and authentic Filipino dishes like adobo and lumpia. Open seven days a week, it welcomes guests from early morning until late evening, making it an ideal spot to fuel up before exploring the stunning surroundings.
We’ve eaten here two nights in a row. We are from Alabama and this little place is beside our hotel so it’s convenient, BUT the food has been incredible!! It’s just a quaint, peaceful place with incredible food.

We were in Juneau on a cruise and my friend searched for a place for lunch and we found the Valley. Definitely worth the drive. Nice place for lunch with large portions. The club sandwich was tasty. My friend had the teriyaki chicken.

It was my first time there and I will be back. I had the Mongolian beef and it was delicious. Some fried rice would’ve been better for me, but I guess that’s a personal preference. The people are absolutely outstanding. Very friendly talkative. I will be back to try something else on their menu.

I would consider this place a type of dive restaurant, and by no means is that a bad thing. The food was fantastic and the service was great. The server was chatting with a couple of locals, and they all had me laughing and smiling. Good people, good food. What more do you need.

Great traditional diner food. This place looks like it’s been here for ages; but that means they’ve perfected the food! Quick and friendly service will bring you excellent diner breakfast fare. Don’t miss the home made cinnamon roll!

Went there for lunch today for the first time. Based on the reviews, we were expecting good things. Here is what we experienced: Restaurant is dingy, worn out looking and not kept up. Sat next to dirty windows with dead bugs in sill. Food was very poor. I got the burger and fries. All of it looked and tasted like a cheap throw together burger with a preformed patty that was probably frozen to start with, cheap bun, etc.. kind of like you got half the ingredients from a gas station. The fries were very much the crinkle cut fries that come frozen in a bag and deep fried. No seasoning salt, just very plain. My wife got the “teriyaki chicken” and it was a bowl full of chicken thigh pieces swimming in a not great ocean of sauce. It came with soup that appeared very unappetizing, looked like cat vomit to me. Fishy tasting. All in all I couldn’t wait to leave and regret The whole thing. Don’t do it!
Robin H — Google review
Food was very basic/classic American diner style. They messed up 3/3 of our orders. Very expensive for what you get too.
Samantha — Google review
I’m shocked that this place has as many stars as it does. It has me wondering if all the reviews are written by friends and family versus actual customers. The food was expensive, tasted like day two cafeteria food that had been sitting out, and the service was poor. We ordered two of the shrimp omlette which were plasticky and lacked flavor. There was no effort to add seasoning or even whisk the eggs so it was blended) and the shrimp they used was definitely not what they were advertising. These were the smallest shrimp I’ve ever seen; they were no bigger than a fingernail and seemed like they could have been dehydrated or ordered in a can. They weren’t even incorporated into the egg, just lazily thrown in plastic-like shell of egg and like the cheese was lazily sprinkled around. We also ordered chocolate chip pancakes and strawberry and cream pancakes… you can’t mess this up, right? WRONG. They brought out two plain pancakes then took them back, put some chocolate chips on top on one and legit SPREAD STRAWBERRY JAM (like Smuckers) and put whipped cream on top. We also got a clam chowder that they said was “homemade,” but tasted like bacon chowder out of a can. No clams. Thick cream. Just no. We also had a basic egg, toast, and bacon breakfast which was whatever. No flavor or quality to anything. The total meal cost $77 which would have been fine if we weren’t paying for trash. All of this could have been made at home far better and for far less. We went to Deckhand Dave’s for dinner and it was less than this and a million times more amazing! On top of it, this place seemed outdated and dungey. I wish I followed my gut reaction to leave upon arrival and review of the menu, but I thought “Hey! Maybe this is a cool local joint.” It just felt like a scam. I would give this 0 stars if I could.

Zerelda's Bistro is a charming and laid-back dining spot that offers a mix of creative bistro dishes and Southern BBQ, along with a selection of beer and wine for guests to enjoy while seated on the patio. Located in Juneau's Mendenhall Valley neighborhood, near the 14-mile-long Mendenhall Glacier, this cozy bistro is owned by chef Abby LaForce Barnett.
This is by far one of the best places in Juneau! We ordered a Yellow Coconut Curry Rice Bowl and the Tropical Street Tacos. Hard to describe the flavor in words, but delicious is an understatement. Not many places get fried tofu right, but Zerelda's nailed it! It was perfectly crispy without being oily, cooking timing and temperature done perfectly! Would give 10 stars if I could. Highly recommended!

Delicious! We had in our group a Happy Belly bowl, a Yellow Coconut Curry rice bowl, a Zombie Fried chicken sandwich and a Mexican burrito and couldn’t decide which was the best! They all were generous, flavorful portions. Service was great and the atmosphere was casual.
Leslie L — Google review
Casual dining bistro/deli. There is minimal seating inside and out, so take out is a great option. The curry bowl was very tasty. I added blackened shrimp to make it fabulous. Husband had the zombie fried chicken sandwich and it was very good. Son had the pork belly bowl and kids had the chicken tenders. All the food was delicious and all had very fresh ingredients. I would recommend this place for sure.
Diane C — Google review
Fun, creative bistro with many gluten-free options as well as (non-gf) delicious-looking pastries.
Aaron M — Google review
Cute little place with so many fusion food options as well as amazing dessert selections. Staff were great, all my food tasted amazing! Seating is limited during peak hours. Definitely come hungry as portions were large!
Monica S — Google review
Zereldas was wonderful. Zombie Chicken sandwich and Coconut Curry were world class! The staff was so kind and the food came out very quickly. Lovely spot for lunch!

It was our first time there I ordered a pulled pork Ramen. It was delicious and the noodles were awesome. It was obviously the best dinner I’ve had in a while. - Andy, age 8

Their quasadilla special was amazing! Very filling and was able to have some for lunch the next day. Both the workers up front were super helpful with helping me decide what drink I wanted. I was hoping to have sweet tea, but they said they didn't but could add mango puree to the tea to make it sweeter. Next time I'm in Juneau, I'll definitely be stopping by.

Coffee shop
Cafe
Coppa, a charming cafe in Juneau, has an interesting origin story. It began with the owner making homemade rhubarb sherbet with his daughter and selling it at a local farmers market. Due to its popularity, the cafe was opened in 2013. The menu features handmade ice cream, espresso, baked goods, and lunch items.
We stopped by Coppa Cafe in Juneau for a quick coffee, and it did not disappoint! The service was fast and super friendly, and the cafe itself was spotless and inviting. Our coffee was absolutely delicious—perfectly brewed, rich, and just what we needed to kickstart our day. It’s always a plus when you can enjoy great service alongside quality coffee. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!

Wonderful place for a cup and treats. Donut Fridays are a must and the Ukrainian daily specials are my favorite. Great place to take my boys before school for their London Fogs and pastries. Just wish they were open on weekends - especially Sundays.

We stopped here for some coffee and a gnosh. Carrot ginger soup was delicious and came with a generous hunk of sourdough bread. Berry muffin was also yummy. Lattes were made to perfection. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant spot to sit and chat over a nice coffee and treat
Nancy B — Google review
Solid coffee in Juneau where other coffee shops are lacking. Good cappuccino and seasonal lattes. Also, take a look at there bake goods as they have a small but great selection if you visit in the morning. Lastly, we hear they have donuts on Fridays but they go quick!
Brad R — Google review
Great coffee options. Best scones I have ever had!! Big; crispy on the outside; lots of fresh fillings; soft on the inside. Im coming back even just for the scones! And they open pretty early! 630am.
Joe L — Google review
Delicious sausage and breakfast panini! Coffee bean flavor is on the fruity and tart side, as opposed to a nutty flavor. (Just to help for people who have a preference like me) Otherwise, it was a well prepared latte.
Christina D — Google review
Best carrot ginger soup of my life. These folks are amazing and create some delicious cozy foods. Highly recommend. Thank you all so much!!!
Christina D — Google review
The place is located downtown, so it's easy to go, right next to the bus stations. There's place inside and outside to sit. There's some options for lunch, and it's normal price (I mean, compared to other places over there). There's some vegan and vegetarian option. The people working there are nice.

Douglas Cafe is a casual restaurant located on Douglas Island in Vancouver. Their burgers are popular, but their main dishes are just as good. The Ribeye, bacon cheeseburger, chicken parmesan, and chicken strips are all great. The curry soup is also fantastic.

Michael R — Google review
Me and my husband are pretty easy going when it comes to food and give things a fair shot, but the food here was just not good. My husband tried the big boy burger and it was pretty flavorless. It was burger so you can't really mess it up unless you burn it to death, but it was definitely the worst burger we've had in town. I tried the chicken parmesan and it was inedible. The chicken tasted like it had been previously cooked, got freezer burnt, and then got thrown in a microwave before being plated. It had the texture of gristle and it had zero flavor aside from the shredded cheese half melted over top. It came with "fettuccine", which was just plain noodles with shredded cheese melted over top, and a steamed veggie medley that was complete mush, had no seasoning, and, if you were blindfolded, you wouldn't be able to tell the carrots from the broccoli. There was also no cream or red sauce over the chicken. I took one bite and had to spit it out. My husband has never seen me react to food like that so he tried a bite as well with the same result; it ended up in his napkin. Everything on my plate was either plain or bitter. The onion rings and side salad my husband had were fine. Simple mixed greens that tasted like the stuff you get from a bag at Fred's. We also tried the curry soup after being told it was pretty good with great flavor. Far from great flavor and it got pushed aside after a few bites. It tasted more like a coconut milk rice pudding with an after taste of yellow curry. We are new to the Douglas area and were hopeful having this place so close but we were quite disappointed. We may try this place again in the future but at this point, it's a safer bet just driving a little further to the Hangar 🤷🏽‍♀️
Cheyenne G — Google review
The food was presented nicely on our dishes. Our server knee my parents from previous visits and was sure my Dad was filled on his Decaf coffee and that it was made fresh. She talked to my parents. However, my Biscuits and Gravy came and tasted garlicy like my Dads fried rice smelled. The food was good, just not used to so much garlic. Friendly, clean atmosphere.

Great little place. Very friendly service. My family and I all got different dishes and they were all equally delicious. Ribeye, bacon cheeseburger, chicken parmesan, and chicken strips. The curry soup was fantastic.

One of Juneau's hidden food gems. I save 3 stars for average, 4 for above average and 5 for holy cow--I can't believe it's not butter! Douglas Cafe (Doug Cafe) is one of my favorite local haunts for its casual atmosphere and quality food. Honestly, for eating out in Juneau, between the regular menu and specials, this is one of my favorite places. They're not going to make a major magazine anytime soon but the food is quality American fare. Downsides: The casual atmosphere won't impress your prom date, and I've had better items here and there; but, I've never been disappointed at Doug Cafe.

Nestled in a strip mall out in the Valley, this hidden gem is a testament to the idea that great food can come from unexpected places. With a long-standing reputation for serving delicious dishes, Little Hong Kong aims to surpass your culinary expectations every time you visit.
The food was perfect. The service I felt could have been a little better but I assume the server was just having a bad day. I liked their high chair. Very secure and clean. I wish we had one in anchorage. Best chinese food by far

Hands down the best Chinese food in town. Their hot n sour soup is amazing on a rainy day and their general tso's chicken is so crispy and flavorful. I'll be a lifelong customer now!

Mongolian chicken and cashew beef The onions in the chicken were nearly raw. The beef tasted like it had been reheated for several days.
Brainy B — Google review
I've been a Little Hong Kong customer for most of my life, so I felt like I needed to provide a review just in case they're thinking of going anywhere. I have fond memories of eating here with my family when I was growing up in the 1990s and later in the early 2000s when I was attending the university. The food (and interior decor) hasn't changed in well over 20 years, but the meals are satisfying and always consistent. The wait/cook staff are super friendly and some of them have been there for as long as I can remember. If you're expecting exotic American Chinese cuisine, this isn't the place, and they don't pretend to be something they're not. The food is great, the service is excellent, and it's a place that holds a special place in my heart. Little Hong Kong is truly one of the only good things left in Juneau. I pray they'll always be here.

I really love this place. We enjoyed dinner again here tonight. The server was so kind & attentive to us. The food was so tasty! Great portions too. And reasonable prices which is hard to come by in Juneau. Look forward to eating here more!

We love this place! Being vegan, they had 5 things for me. The Chinese green soup is AMAZING! The staff is friendly and helpful. You can see the kitchen. Smaller but really great food. Was the first place we visited when we moved to Juneau.
Eli D — Google review
I've eaten here quite a few times. I can't complain about the service. However, the food can use some improvement. I know multiple people that have gotten food poisoning immediately after eating here. I've seen them put my food on a plate and stick it in the microwave... the rice was somewhat crunchy every time I've eaten it. I would give a 1 star if they weren't such nice people with good service.

Amazing burger and fries. I got the bacon cheddar and I love burgers so I know a good one when I taste one. Girls love the chicken nuggets and fries too! Good service. Love the outdoor(heated) deck atmosphere. Come visit them!

Very friendly staff, great burgers and wings. MT Juneau and searhc burgers were so good!! The chicken tenders were not on par with the rest of the food but I still give 5 stars because everything else has been great.

The food was sooooo good. I didnt expect it to be a food truck, but it was a even better experience in the park. Plenty of seating, service was super quick, they'll come find you in the park sitting once they set off the buzzer they give you so you can sit and relax. The have drinks in the cooler right in front of their truck.
