The Alaska Fish House is a beloved waterfront eatery in Ketchikan, known for its fresh seafood and casual atmosphere. Located at Thomas Basin Harbor, it offers a variety of simple yet delicious seafood dishes such as Dungeness crab, fish tacos, chowder, and fish and chips made with cod and salmon. The restaurant takes pride in using local ingredients to prepare their meals from scratch, ensuring that every plate is bursting with flavor.
Highly recommended fish place by our tour guide. Line move fast to order food. If you find a seat after you order food. They give you a number you bring the food to you. Indoor, seating with full service bar and outdoor seating overlooking the marina. Salmon, fish and chips was very fresh and breaded and cooked perfectly. The french fries had a chipotle seasoning on it and were fried to perfection. The coleslaws of vinegar based almost like a sweet-and-sour or vinegar sugar mixture. Was very fresh.
Tom K — Google review
The sampler is a good option. The fish tasted fresh and although it isn’t a light-style batter it clung well to the fish. I preferred the whitefish and would probably just get the cod option next time for the value. It was the most tender. Not a fan of the coleslaw. The fries were good but average. The dungeness crab was small and not worth it. It was warm and cold…? Very strange.
Dawn C — Google review
I think this was the best fish and chips we had on our Alaska trip. We tried the Halibut ($32 for 2) and Salmon (I wanna say it was $28 for 2). The service was quick and easy. The fish was fried perfectly and the fries were immaculate. The slaw was tangy which I was not used to but overall worked out with everything else on the plate. Definitely recommend!
Aswathy C — Google review
We stopped in for lunch recently and had a good experience. We tried the fish and chips with salmon, clam chowder, and crab. The mesquite fries had great flavor. The breading on the fish was tasty. The clam chowder was excellent. The Dungeness crab (full order) was great. The crab was smaller and more expensive than a previous stop on our trip, but still good. They only have 2 unisex bathrooms in the place and they were occupied awhile when we were there.
Jimmy K — Google review
This was a place we planned to visit while on our cruise. Even though it was a walk up and order, it was perfect. I ordered the salmon and my husband ordered the halibut and we shared. The meals came with fries, cole slaw and their house made tartar sauce. I'm not sure what was in the sauce but it was delicious. I planned to drink beer from local breweries and there were plenty of options. I highly recommend this stop.
Mary S — Google review
My girlfriend and I split a pound of crab which was around $50.00. Firstly, the quick service was great and our meal came within 10 minutes. They provided free coffee and water once you dine in and plenty of seating with a friendly atmosphere. We went at 10 A.M. though there was still a good portion of people in the restaurant, which surprised me with how quick our food came. The crab had great flavor and barely required butter. It also came out hot and soft, requiring little utensil usage and easy to crack and pick apart. As much as some shops may be chaotic in the surrounding areas, this one was quite relaxing and gave us a break from the hustle and bustle of tourism.
Kjc — Google review
The fish and chips was awesome. We had the Alaska sampler with the 3 types of fish and salmon chowder. Chips were good too. I was skeptical of the coleslaw but it turned out well enough that I ate all of it.
Pei Y — Google review
Honestly phenomenal food. I got the blackened halibut tacos off a recommendation, and let’s just say upon finishing them I had to go find my socks because they were blown right off. Not to mention the very generous portion of perfectly crispy fries. 11/10 lived up to the hype of my coworkers.

American restaurant
Restaurant
New York Cafe, located inside the New York Hotel in Alaska, offers a cozy and rustic setting with warm interiors and bar seating. Dating back to the 1920s, it is one of the oldest restaurants in Alaska and is part of the historic Inn at Creek Street collection. The cafe serves a variety of American comfort food and drinks, including baked goods as coffee accompaniments. Additionally, it features a full lunch and dinner menu with seafood-focused American and Mediterranean cuisine along with live music.
Highly recommend eating and experiencing here! The staff was great, particularly Hannah! Tried some draft beers in a flight and had the chowder. Hands down on of the best chowders I have had if not the best! The sourdough bread that comes with it too is excellent! This is a great local spot with true local food and spirit! It is further from the Cruise port and seems most people don’t drift down to see the rest of town. It’s worth it! Come on down and support this kind and tasty business with a neat vintage bar!
Tucker D — Google review
We had the Cathead biscuits and gravy, and a side of bacon with scrambled eggs. It was great and cooked very nicely. The biscuits were huge and fluffy and there was plenty of gravy. The eggs were perfectly folded and griddle cooked. The bacon tasted great and was not floppy, tasteless beef jerky like most of this towns bacon. There was great local art with a comfortable sit down experience.
James N — Google review
Absolutely amazing food. My partner had the scallops and I had the Mediterranean Burger and both were well worth it! We also had hot chocolates (I had 2 😂) and they were great! Table service was more then anyone could ask for and the lady who served us was lovely. Would recommend stopping in when in town.
Samuel L — Google review
We stopped at the New York Cafe and wanted to share that the service provided by Hannah was exceptional. She was welcoming and polite throughout our visit. We must also commend the barista for pulling a great shot of espresso; the coffee was high quality and full of flavor. Additionally, we found the food to be enjoyable and fairly priced. The cafe itself was comfortable and warm, which was especially pleasant after walking in the cold rain.
John K — Google review
The food was good. This was another local recommendation. They are a small place and it got crowded fast. Our service was okay. I couldn't tell why because it didn't seem like she had a lot of tables. The salad was good. Great greens; great fish. Loved the toppings with the salad. The goat cheese was good and the pita pieces were delicious. The cod burger and fries were good as well. Great view and convenient location.
Sunshine — Google review
Had salmon fillet and salmon fish and chips that were delicious. Had friendly service and an Alaskan beer for a great meal. Best place to stop after walking down Creek street in ketchikan. Would go here again.
David E — Google review
Great place when in Ketchikan Alaska! Food and service were great! If near by try the forest berry cobbler! Outstanding!
Gregory F — Google review
This is a gem of a restaurant. We arrived 10 minutes before they opened in the morning so that we could get a table for four. The coffee was delicious. We all had the smoked salmon scramble, and it was delicious. The staff was incredibly hospitable. If you want to have dinner here, you really need to call for reservations. This is a small establishment, and they often have live music in the evenings. Between the food and the music, it is top notch.

Breakfast restaurant
Cafe
Nestled in the lively town of Ketchikan census, Pioneer Cafe is a charming culinary find that offers a nostalgic dining experience. The retro-themed eatery takes you back to the 50s and 60s with its vintage ambiance. Renowned for its delectable menu, this diner serves up an array of tantalizing dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings.
This is a cute mom & pop style diner with Rte 66 and 50’s American themes. Also, conveniently located a hop over from creek street. They offer traditional American breakfast for a decent price. Both my wife and I ordered the 2x French toast breakfast. It was great. Coffee was good and refills were timely. I did find it odd, however, that on the menus half-sized portions are available but only a dollar cheaper than the full-sized option. Seems strange to offer it in the first place. The customer service was good. Expect about $40-45 for two people.
VDms_ — Google review
This restaurant serves large portions of all American cooking at reasonable prices. I enjoyed the open faced turkey sandwich very much while my wife enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich with chicken noodle soup. The restaurant is done up.kn the theme of a 50s diner with a lot of Route 66 paraphernalia. The staff is efficient and the food comes hot and quick with very large portions. If you're in the are I suggest you drop by.
M A — Google review
Favorite of locals, this place will not let you leave hungry! The portion sizes are enough to share! We came for breakfast and it was delicious! Food is served up quickly, and the coffee is fantastic! The reindeer sausages were great, and the flapjacks were bigger than a Frisbee!
Deanna M — Google review
Cute little spot with retro vibes. Service was HORRIBLE. Our server never smiled and acted like she wanted to be anywhere but there. We had empty glasses for the majority of our meal. The food was mediocre. The halibut and fries was just okay. The fish was tough and not like any other halibut we ate in alaska... guessing it wasn't fresh. The reindeer hotdogs were just like any polish sausage... disappointed that they weren't somehow different. I don't think I'd choose to eat there again.

Popped into the local favorite, the Pio, early off the ship. We shared o e combo meal and still had more on the plate. Good old fashioned “diner” food with a great vide! Johnny & the music was on point! Def give a try!!!!

I’m not a big breakfast guy but stopped in here for breakfast because we would be gone until well after lunch. Service was quick and good. Food was great. Going back for breakfast today!

My sister and I ate at this restaurant on August 29, 2025. Christina was our server and she was very nice and helpful. The food portions were huge and reasonable priced. The cafe was in a 1950's theme. It was a great experience. I recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Ketchikan!!
Leo S — Google review
Good service, was reasonably fast, as well as reasonably priced for the quantity of food. I’d rate the chicken fried at 8 out of 10. The toast was perfect. And the hash-browns a good 7 out of 10. Overall, I would come back. As for the lemon pie, very nice as well with some coffee.

Italian restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Ketchikan, Ocean View Restaurante is a culinary gem that beautifully marries Mexican and Italian cuisines. With its charming decor reminiscent of ancient Rome, this inviting eatery offers a relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying flavorful dishes. The menu boasts an impressive selection, from hearty burgers and steaks to mouthwatering pasta and seafood options. However, it's the authentic Mexican fare that truly steals the spotlight—especially their sizzling fajitas served on hot plates!
Who likes it, repeats it. We went twice, Mexicans, Peruvians, Argentine and Colombians. Everyone ordered something different, there is an option for everyone. Each order of food was very well presented and had good portions. The staff is very attentive and speaks Spanish and English (I don't know if they speak another language). The atmosphere is really cool, Nice decor, very organized, and the view is beautiful. Wherever you look there are particular details. You can reach the site walking from the port. The menu is quite extensive between Mexican and Italian food. The drinks are excellent, even fine liqueurs. Rate with five could be a risk but it was my experience so I will do it. Hope all of u have the same experience, And if you have any recommendations you can make them as they are very open to comments.

Got enchiladas and chips with cheese. The meal we ordered was cold. And the service definitely could have been better. Last time I was here they sat us by the dish busser area. Got bumped into several times. So far the experience has been mediocre. For 20-30 I'd expect hot food and good service at least.
Krysten B — Google review
The consistency here is unparalleled. This is where I go to sit down and enjoy a meal I didn't have to cook. The food is always cooked to perfection. The restaurant is clean and organized. Staff is always very polite, clean, and attentive. The owner should be proud to have such a solid establishment in such a corrupt town. Highly recommend.

Incredible ambiance and food in Ketchikan. With expansive menu, this team delivers great outcomes across the cuisines. Of course the Mexican menu which shades between Mexican staples and Tex-mex favorites executes on all dishes. Decadent atmosphere on the water with gorgeous interiors.
Joshua N — Google review
Let's start with the 4. Food was ok, salsa was off, tacos were amazing and didn't need the salsa for the taco flavor. My sandwich was ok. Now the atmosphere out on the balcony on a day where its sunny and 74 degrees, Stunning. Staff was polite but not overwhelmingly polite or anything. Good place to eat, parking is across the street

Beautiful resturaunt with the best food in Ketchikan we tried many different places while in town but this was easily our favorite for the views top notch customer service friendliest server and best quality food! We tried the quesabirria tacos rice and beans. We would recommend anyone to come here it's amazing and totally worth it.
Tanya M — Google review
Let’s start here with what was excellent. Breadsticks - incredible. 10/10. Sopapillas - not on the dessert menu, but served on request. 15/10. Best sopapillas we’ve ever had. Service was very good, our water cups were always full except at the very end, food came quickly. Meals: my husband and I both had street tacos a la carte which were very good, but not incredible (whereas the breadsticks and sopapillas were genuinely incredible). It was delicious and we will definitely go again on our next trip to Ketchikan.
Elise N — Google review
Husband and I came in for a quick trip. He loves mexican food. Can't believe we have never come in before. We would fly back just for this again! Restaurant is clean, food amazing, the decor was impressive. Yummy!! If you get to Ketchikan make it in for dinner, or a drink. We were treated very well.

Delivery Restaurant
Good Fortune Restaurant, located on Creek Street, is a popular choice among students for its delicious Chinese cuisine. It is known for its home-cooked style dishes with an emphasis on using more vegetables and less oil. The restaurant offers a variety of options including sushi rolls like the Flying Dragon Roll which is not only tasty but also beautifully presented. While some patrons have found the service to be average, others have praised the quick delivery of hot and delicious meals such as beef and broccoli and sweet and sour shrimp.
A great place to have Chinese food and sushi. The owner is very nice. Ordering food here can be a little bit different. They'll give you a note pad. You'll write down what you want and they will bring it to you upstairs. All in all a pleasant experience and is a must visit for me when I come through Ketchikan.
Greg S — Google review
The food I received was very poor quality. This was suppose to be chicken sweet and sour. There was one bell pepper, two slices of pineapple and meat was very dry. I think the meat was over cooked. Sauce was extremely sweet.
Tina N — Google review
Rice was bland, no veggies, just white rice with soy sauce, spring rolls were not drained = oily, orange chicken was to orangey.
Jose ( — Google review
Went to Good Fortune with a coworker after a long day of work. We each got a meal and split a sushi roll. First, we got the Flying Dragon Roll. It was incredibly tasty and the presentation was phenomenal. It looked like this cute little dragon flying across the plate. Then the plates were brought out. The food wasn't as good as the sushi, but it was still hot and filling. The service was meh. I had to ask for a refill on my water and it never got refilled again after I finished off that refill. Overall, if you're in the mood for great sushi in Ketchikan, highly recommend.
Michael M — Google review
Ordered 6 boba drinks. It was literally the NASTIEST I have ever had BY FAR! It tasted like surgery candy water. Nothing like The Thai tea I was supposed to get. We threw our entire order in the trash. You couldn’t pay me to drink this. It was absolutely disgusting!
Richard H — Google review
Nice and beautiful place… just too expensive. Mostly one of meal cost you 20$ above
Ria Y — Google review
A hard working family run operation that I’ve been coming to for years ever time I’m in town. I’m especially fond of their wonton soup that’s filled with fresh crispy not overdone vegetables. I’ve had other dishes here as well which I’ve liked. It’s a nice change from the heavy American diner, burgers, fries, and pizza which is pervasive in town.
Steve S — Google review
The restaurant is a bit like a fast food restaurant where you get served in styrofoam dishes. Busy lunch period but the waitress didn’t bother to wipe the tables, pick up the old leftovers from previous patrons and leave the sticky dirty tables. Also, seemed like she is overworked or had no time for anything. Left my tea on the table and ran off. I think I heard the cashier complained about tips left on the credit card in front of us and the guest already had cash for tips. A bit embarrassing for them. 😬self-seating, lots of cutlery on the table, and plastic cutlery to use. On the positive note, the place has good food. No complaints there. Just needs work on service, cleanliness, and organization.

Diaz Cafe is a popular spot in Old Town Ketchikan, offering a bright and informal setting to enjoy hearty Filipino cuisine. The cafe's 1950s interior adds to its charm, attracting both locals and cruise-ship staffers looking for a taste of home. While the truffle fries and burgers are highly recommended, the pork bbq and kare-kare also stand out as delicious options.

Hidden gem just off the (very) beaten path in Ketchikan. The cruise crowds don’t know about this place and it’s *phenomenal.* Limpia, ginger beef and pancit are to die for, and the family who run it are so warm and friendly! Found it by accident and so glad we did. Highly recommended.

First time here for their Chinese food. We ordered the chicken chow mein and veggies soft noodles. Both dishes tasted delicious. Glad to eat something different after eating the cruise ship food. We talked to the grandson of the owner. They have been running this restaurant since the 60’s. We were glad to chat with him and know more about their family own business. Highly recommend this restaurant if you Judy want some Chinese food.

I've lived in Ketchikan all of my life, and my mom and dad have been here for a long time. Diaz Cafe has always been here, it was one of my first restaurants, and Rudy and Clara have treated me and mine as one of their family. I love these guys, and their food is great. The New China Restaurant exudes a cheerful and amiable ambiance, adorned with vibrant yellow walls and neutral hardwood floors. This establishment is an excellent choice in Ketchikan for individuals seeking delectable Chinese or Thai cuisine. With an extensive selection of dishes available for lunch and dinner, including vegan and vegetarian options, patrons can indulge in a wide variety of flavors.
Went to a local card/hobby story and they suggested this place for good Chinese food. Came out quick, had large portions. Tasted very good. If I wasn't on a cruise, I would have liked to try more of the menu.

Supposedly "Thai green curry beef". Thick and stodgy chicken gravy with extra oil and chili powder. Mostly bamboo shoots. Sweet pineapple bits were totally out of place. Weird chemically softened beef. $21. No resemblance to any green curry I've ever had.
Earl J — Google review
As a former crew member and a person who's originally from China, I am warning everyone -DON'T GO!! This place is a total RIP OFF. We ordered some soup( tastes bad) and asked for a small bowl of rice, the server brought it without telling us the price. Later we got charged 8 dollars for that bowl of rice. I even tried to confirm when I saw the bill. I said "just to confirm the rice is 8 dollars?" The Lady was SUPER grumpy, she just said "yes" with a bad looking on her face. I understand Alaska is away from the mainland US and everything is shipped here. However we are still in the States, a behavior like this is not acceptable - not telling the customer the price of food ahead and charge ppl ridiculous price, also with bad attitude and no customer service at all. I don't often leave a bad review but this one is absolutely bad! I used to come here when I was a crew 10 years ago, don't know if things have changed but Ha. They are not practicing a good business behavior.

New China Restaurant in Ketchikan, Alaska, offers a diverse menu featuring Chinese, Thai, and vegetarian dishes. Located at 431 Dock Street, it's a convenient spot for both locals and visitors. The restaurant is known for its flavorful offerings like Singapore Mai Fun, Egg Foo Young, and sweet and sour pork. The establishment has a family-run feel, and friendly atmosphere. It's a popular choice for those seeking Asian cuisine in Ketchikan,
David G — Google review
Revising my review because New China has become my go-to for Chinese food, for good reason. I typically order delivery at work about once every week or two. They're reliable, timely, and friendly (shout-out to the regular delivery person, I think her name is Shannon?), and the price is reasonable. My personal favourite -- the Singapore Mai Fun -- has some good heat to it, even at "mild," and it's reliably about two meals' worth of food for me. Add on some steamed potstickers and something for the next day, and I'm set. When I feel like shaking up my routine, the Foo Young is great. Comes with what feels like an illegal amount of gravy (LOL, don't stop doing that, it's great; I put the rest on the rice that comes with it).

Appetizer bites, AMAZING smoked clam chowder, a tasting portion of halibut ceviche, smoked salmon, and other local cuisines, and an ice cream with local spruce pine toppings for dessert- not to mention all this for the same amount of money we spent on two breakfast sandwiches and coffees elsewhere (🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️) General Manager Jess was SUPERB and made it such a personable, small town, and comfortable experience. Very thankful for our time here!

Perfect place for our special honeymoon dinner. The food was phenomenal, drinks are delicious, dessert heavenly, the views gorgeous, I could go on and on.... Thank you for making our last night magical ✨️ ❤️

The ambiance was pleasant, and our server provided attentive service, including a complimentary rice and salmon sample from the kitchen. My entrée, the Bush Pilots Ribeye with double mashed potatoes, featured a well-seasoned steak; however, approximately one-third consisted of fat, which detracted from the experience, as I prefer less fat. The mashed potatoes were acceptable, though excessively garlicky, overpowering other flavors. While the steak was satisfactory, its $76 pre-tip price point seems excessive, particularly considering the fat content. I question whether the quality justified the cost. For a superior steak at a fraction of the price, please refer to my Ketchikan steakhouse review.

On the water dock views of the many happenings on the Tongass Narrows. Inviting you to bush pilot history. Wonderful food. Really enjoyed our special food and history tour.

A beautiful pub with absolutely stunning views. We enjoyed a nice private and quite corner overlooking the beautiful water watching the sea planes come and go. I highly recommend the halibut ceviche. 10/10 recommend. The staff is extremely welcoming and kind.

Simply amazing! The view, the staff and the food, all exceeding our expectations! The chowder is perfection and the tasting board left us both completely stuffed and our palettes very pleased! Loved it!

Stopped for lunch before continuing our cruise. Loved the Clam Chowder Bread Bowl. The Halibut Ceviche was delicious, fresh.

Kind of a unique little spot. The service was awesome. The wall of windows facing the water was beautiful. The food was OK. They only serve beer and wine so if your drink of choice includes a hard liquor, you'll have to find a wine/beer option to accompany dinner.

Ketch me if you Kan Café is a charming waterfront spot with a warm, rustic ambiance and ocean views. It's perfect for family vacations, group fishing trips, or ocean getaways. The café offers a variety of local salmon products and has a whole menu dedicated to salmon. Guests can enjoy delicious breakfast options and locally inspired cuisine at the restaurant and lounge, along with microbrews and hand-crafted cocktails.
Great prices and delicious food!! Must try the famous smoked salmon bagel •Bathroom available •Lots of food options, you can either dine in or walk around with your smoothie and bagel •local handmade art .. very unique! I got an email asking to review my experience from last summer when I visited on a cruise ship and I just wanted to say Cheyenne has started a beautiful establishment at such a young age. Even though the cafe was busy, tables full… she remained calm and had a very lovely conversation with us… giving us advice on what to do in town, where to find wildlife, and her story as to how she got to Ketchikan. My wife and I were extremely impressed and we highly recommend supporting a small business like this.

Best place in Ketchikan to try local alaskan food products! I highly recommend their smoked salmon chowder. It is alder smoked salmon and it was the best chowder I’ve ever had. We also got the smoked salmon bagel, blueberry lemonade, salmon poke bowl, PB banana smoothie, 2 coffees, and a hot chocolate. We paid about $100 for everything which was VERY affordable for Alaska! Everything was very clean and tidy. Staff was very kind and even though it was busy, I got my food very fast. The environment is fun and is welcoming, with music playing and fun fish decor. They have local art for sale that you can’t find anywhere in Ketchikan. We bought an original painting and a chainsaw carving from a local lumberjack. This is a new cafe and they are locally owned, so make sure to stop here and support a small business!

We stopped in on our way back to the ship from Creek Street. We had two lattes and shared a cinnamon roll. We should have each had our own cinnamon roll. It was that good. We had a pleasant conversation with the staff, they are very friendly and courteous. The latte and Chai latte were very good and made to order. Ketch Me If You Can is a good catch in Ketchikan. We highly recommend it!

LOVING MY VISITS TO THIS CAFÉ! I've ordered multiple times and the food is fresh and the smoothies are made with real fruits (which is important for me personally). The Café is kept clean and there's a lovely ambience, small but spacious, so you can always find a seat. So far I've had the Ahi tuna poke bowl, pork pelmeni, smoked salmon bagel. Recently I went in over December and they had the tree up for the festivities. Thank you, keep up the excellent service!!

Nice coffee. Always quite when I go in so no wait. Didn't really have a conversation with any of the staff, just ring the bell, order and wait. The salmon river walk is super close by. Nice location and my friends had the bagels and said they were delicious. They have WiFi too.

PERFECT PLACE TO TRY LOCAL SALMON PRODUCTS! I loved the variety. I came to this cafe looking to try local salmon and I was surprised they had a whole menu dedicated to salmon! I got an iced caramel latte, a cup of salmon chowder, and the smoked salmon bagel. My coffee and chowder were both served in less than 3 minutes and my bagel took about 10 minutes which I was very happy with. The girls working were very sweet and accommodating with my questions about getting around town. They also have fun music playing and adorable chainsaw carvings made by local lumberjacks. 10/10

The cutest cafe in the cutest little Alaskan town!! I love the food here- avo all day bagel and the poke bowls are my faves!! The atmosphere, service and vibes are top notch and the owner is so sweet and passionate about this new endeavor! She also hosts game nights and does loads of deals here and there! Also free coffee Fridays for the locals- heck yeah!! There is also really cool local art like chainsaw carvings, paintings and earrings!! The pricing of everything was great as well- small Alaskan towns can get crazy expensive but I felt like this cafe had really fair pricing. This cafe is only getting started and there’s so much more to come and I love it!

I recently visited this coffee shop while on a cruise, and the experience was extremely disappointing. First, I couldn't find any prices listed for the coffee, however my brother still ordered. When I asked the staff, they said it was because they had "just opened." This seemed strange, so I looked it up and found out they've actually been open since April 2024--several months ago! To make matters worse, the cappuccino and regular coffee we ordered tasted like water, with almost no coffee flavour at all. When I decided to write a review immediately you can't even find the name of the store!!!! For a coffee shop neither on the googles, this is simply unacceptable. As a tourist from a cruise, I can't shake the feeling that they're deliberately trying to cheat tourists, which seems to be the main reason for their lack of transparency. This kind of operation doesn't inspire any trust. I won't be returning.

Breakfast restaurant
The Landing Restaurant captures the nostalgic charm of a classic American diner, featuring cozy swivel chairs and inviting countertops that beckon you to sit down and enjoy. With its doors opening bright and early at 6:00 a.m., it’s the perfect spot for an early breakfast. The best part? You can indulge in delicious breakfast options all day long, making it an ideal destination for any meal craving!
The customer service was outstanding! Dhavie was wonderful!!! She was attentive, friendly and knew the menu with all the options! We definitely will come back!!!

Overall alright. We come here every year to fish and always stop here while waiting for our lodge to be ready. The food always takes forever to come out and is hit or miss on taste. This year the service was better than most years, but still just good.
Brian B — Google review
I've always enjoyed breakfast at The Landing. The menu is good, service was good and the food was also good -- until this week when food was cold and hard, service not very good..... Hopefully, it was just an off day and things are better other days. Neither recommended nor not recommended. It's worth the risk. Merritt Weisinger Sparks, NV

Service was okay, disorganized but not the servers fault. Seemed short staffed, but still took extremely long to get acknowledgment we were there. Steak and eggs breakfast was terrible. Order med rare, and the steak—while still medium rare was so tough I could barely cut it with a knife. I had three bites and one I nearly choked on from how tough it was it, definitely not a sirloin cut (based on the the texture and clear connective tissue in the cut I’d have to say it’s a chuck steak, if not maybe even round roast thick sliced to be passed off as steak— either way it was inedible) Staff took order, cashed out table 3/5 for efficiency but never once asked how the food was or refill waters despite siting at the diner bar. Hashbrowns were good.

I rarely post bad reviews and refuse to leave a 1-star review for a local business, but this was pretty disappointing. I came in to place a quick takeout order before work and stood at the register for over 15 minutes while three servers behind the bar next to me looked at me repeatedly but never acknowledged me, nor the man behind me who had been waiting for 5 minutes. I get that it was busy, but seeing people who walked in after me, for the exact same thing, get greeted immediately was unacceptable. I left without ordering and lost the little time I had to grab food :(

Food was great and Marita made our meal so much more enjoyable, her hospitality and lovely energy is contagious and makes you feel at home. We will definitely be back!
