Driftwood Restaurant & Lounge is a laid-back, long-standing steakhouse and seafood spot known for its casual menu, full bar, and outdoor deck. The restaurant offers a classic clam chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl that is highly recommended. The atmosphere at Driftwood is relaxed, making it an ideal place to enjoy delicious food and drinks.
This was one of my favorite meals from our vacation to the Pacific Northwest. We were in Cannon Beach for a couple days in August and came here for dinner on a Monday night. We sat at the bar and were promptly greeted by the bartender. He provided menus and gave a few minutes to decide on drinks and meals. We shared the Dungeness crab cocktail appetizer and each ordered meals. I had the lemon caper baked salmon and it was very good. The menu says it comes on a bed of onions and I wasn’t sure how that was going to be but it was very small chopped onion and with the dill sauce on top of that it was delicious. I opted for the side of vegetables and it was a generous portion and they were perfectly cooked. Our bartender was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was casual and easygoing. The lighting was a bit dim but I felt that made it a little more rustic cabin feeling instead of dark dungeon. The place was somewhat full that evening but it wasn’t loud. Prices were comparable to similar seafood restaurants we have been to. We walked from our hotel but I think there is a parking lot if I remember correctly. This was a very good dinner.

We had lunch outside and really enjoyed the heated deck and the pumpkin carving contest! I appreciate that they have more than one vegetarian option on the menu. The Mediterranean pita was very good. My seafood eating partner said the steamed clams and clam chowder were great too.
Sarah M — Google review
We were quickly seated in the lounge area on a busy day, which we very much appreciated. Service has been very friendly. The lighting is a bit dim and could be improved. The food is excellent, including the salmon Caesar salad, roast beef sandwich, fish sandwich, crab dip, clam chowder.
Ap V — Google review
Great service. We were seated quickly and our food came out quick. The food was good, 4 star for food as it was good but nothing exceptional.
Karla P — Google review
Food was delicious. I had the special that night which was prime rib and prawns. My group got the onion rings, calamari, and the crab dip (my favorite). Our server was steve and he was very helpful with what to order.

I never leave negative reviews, or any reviews for that matter. But my recent visit to Driftwood Restaurant was extremely disappointing — and concerning. I ordered the baked lemon salmon and calamari, while my girlfriend had the salmon pasta. The dishes looked fine at first glance, but the flavor was underwhelming and the seafood didn’t taste particularly fresh. Unfortunately, the worst part came a few hours later: about three hours after dinner, I became violently ill. I’ll spare the details, but it was clear my body rejected the meal completely. After a few days, I got in touch with the manager and she took care of the problem in a professional manner. The food, customer service, and atmosphere is great. I just had an unlucky visit, but would go back again.
Cal L — Google review
It was so delicious, they sat us in less than 15mins and we sat outside. The food came out quickly and I had the clam chowder it was so fresh and cooked perfectly.
Mia L — Google review
A good option in Canon Beach if you want to get away from the burgers, sandwiches, fish & chips, or pizza. We got the seafood stew and the filet mignon. They were well prepared and worth the wait for a table. If everyone in our party were over 21 we might've been able to sit at an outside table. However the dining room was great too. I'd recommend if you're looking for a change at Cannon Beach

Nestled at the base of the impressive 235 feet-tall Haystack Rock, The Wayfarer Restaurant & Lounge in Cannon Beach offers a stylish and woodsy ambiance with a salmon cannery theme. This long-standing establishment has been consistently serving delicious American seafood and breakfast, drawing guests back with its attention to service, detail, and classic recipes. As participants in the North Coast Food Trail, they prioritize local and seasonal ingredients such as fresh seafood and produce from their own farm.
I had the crab bake. Each items was perfectly cooked and delicious. $51 seemed like a lot but I would order it again and again. My partner had the daily special which was baked halibut with crab. Loved it too. All the staff were friendly and our waiter, Eric added greatly to the experience. We also had a booth with a perfect view of the Haystack Rocks. Great dinning experience.

The place was GREAT! The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions are huge — I personally recommend bringing a big appetite! I highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting Cannon Beach. Parking is limited in the small lot out front, and while you can stroll to the beach afterward for a quick view of Haystack Rock, both the parking and beach walk can be a bit hit-or-miss.
Sabino C — Google review
I had quite the lovely dining experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely exquisite! I do have to say, the portions were very big! I utterly adored the ocean view that we were able to see! We were even able to see the famous haystack rock, which was super beautiful and inspiring! Our server Sheamus was an absolute delight! He seemed Highly knowledgeable and was pleased to make an accommodations for our needs!! The restaurant was clearly kept well maintained! It was super fancy and high quality! Overall, I was thoroughly impressed and intrigued and emotionally touched by this experience! I would highly recommend dining at this restaurant for your next dinner excursion! I can guarantee you will have a lovely time just like I did! I will definitely be thinking about this restaurant on a regular basis and how touching and high quality the food and service was!

The Wayfarer Restaurant and Lounge was a great experience from start to finish. The food was excellent—I had the poached eggs on avocado toast and it was delicious. Everything was fresh and prepared just right. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which made the meal even better. Prices were a little on the high side, but that definitely comes with being so close to Haystack Rock—you can literally see it from the restaurant when it’s not misty. Overall, a solid spot in Cannon Beach if you’re looking for a good meal with great service and unbeatable views
Andy W — Google review
Food was good, went for dinner then breakfast. Had the steak and clam chowder. I was not expecting to be impressed by the food. Chowder was thick and flavorful. ..steak was also well cooked, medium rare. Desert was delicious. Would definitely go back!
Sean H — Google review
Too much food. Come here if you’re hungry. We had cocktails to start. The mulberry mule and something that was a blood orange something. Both were good. The mule was very sweet. We had the clam chowder and Caesar salad for appetizers. The salad was delicious. The chowder was good. I thought it was one of my favorites, ever. My wife thought it had too much bacon/smoke flavor. You can decide. Either way the portion was a huge bowl. Then came the entrees. We should have split one dish. The halibut was good but slightly overcooked. The salmon dish was our favorite and what I would get again. The risotto with the halibut was incredibly rich and filling. Be warned. No room for dessert.
Jeff P — Google review
Had a fantastic dinner! Filet was cooked perfectly, Mac and cheese was delicious and the chocolate cake was so good! Our bartender/server was awesome. Really enjoyed our experience.

We came here for brunch after an early morning walk on Cannon Beach. We were able to sit in a booth with a stunning view of Haystack rock and the ocean. The food was very good! We had the eggs florentine and the traditional breakfast scramble and both were great. The eggs florentine actually uses fresh baby spinach instead of frozen. Definitely recommend if you are looking for breakfast food in the area.

Ecola Seafood Restaurant & Market, previously located near Piggin Pancake in downtown Cannon Beach, is a casual eatery and seafood market known for its fresh wild-caught offerings. The restaurant has been committed to sustainable fishing practices for over 40 years, sourcing salmon, halibut, and crab directly from their own fishing boats. Visitors can enjoy a variety of seafood dishes such as fish and chips and clam chowder while taking in the sunny rooftop ambiance.
Everything is very fresh and delicious. Reasonable prices. Fast and good service. We were happy to find a table when we entered but those coming after us had to wait a bit. Great place!
Carmen S — Google review
Large space with fresh seafood. We had their Pacific Cod 4cs fish & chips. The fish was flakey and the beer batter was crispy(rare to find) the fries were also very well done. I suggest asking for an extra tartar sauce! Their clam chowder is good too. Very kid and family friendly. There is a family bathroom on their main floor and it was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Great stop in Cannon Beach!
Paul L — Google review
Ecola never disappoints. I have been coming to this very establishment for over 20 years now and it has always been a staple in my family. I would argue it has the freshest seafood in town and you can tell from the quality. They’ve done a ton of work to expand the place and add more seating which is amazing and allows them to accommodate way more patrons. We love the fast casual atmosphere and the fish and chips are some of the best I’ve ever had. Went here twice in our last trip. I will say the clam chowder has never been my favorite and the bread bowl sometimes could taste a little fresher but all in all this place is a rockstar.
Josh L — Google review
Way cool of a place! Fish caught and made fresh. We actually saw one of the guys who caught the fish eating there, so that was fun to see him both in real life and on the screens they had in there. We ordered the fried halibut, and one of our orders came with clam chowder and coleslaw. It was all really good! Kinda pricy, but it honestly was worth it. Space was really breezy, a lot of regulars. The one lady who was taking our orders kinda looked like she didn't want to be there, which made it kinda funny, but at the same time she was friendly enough.
Emily G — Google review
Best seafood you can get in Cannon Beach. The fish and chips are cooked perfectly and the breading is nice and crispy. The clam chowder is FULL of clam pieces and it's got a great flavor to it. If you're looking for some fresh seafood- this is the spot. They even updated the building so there's more seating inside and outside upstairs.
Artsy B — Google review
We were debating for a few hours on where to go. I read reviews for Seafood and clam chowder. The four of us parked near Ecola and saw the porch and decided to go in. I was disappointed at first due to the price of crab and felt like leaving. The couple we were with ordered so I got the fried prawns and my wife got the fish and chips. I did try a few oysters they by far were the best i have had in along time. My wife was blown away with hers and my friends wanted to get seconds to go. I can honestly say that if I ever make it back to the Oregon coast I will go right back there. We enjoyed the food the porch with a fire it was amazing.
Pete S — Google review
Food was fantastic, service was excellent especially considering the amount of customers and they got the orders correct! Atmosphere is lively and casual, tables can be a bit smallish but other than it, atmosphere is perfect for a laid back seafood spot. There are non-fried seafood options, but hardly none on the side item menu, which was a bit of a letdown. As long as you’re expecting to eat heavier for that meal and exercise later, you’ll be good to go! Parking can be hectic as they have zero parking available, but there are walking distance free parking lots scattered along with the strip and side streets.
Dom N — Google review
A really nice spot near Cannon Beach! It’s a blend between a restaurant and marketplace with two floors to eat both indoors and outdoors! We got halibut fish and chips along with grilled halibut that came with garlic bread and soup, both were pretty good! One of the fishermen who catches fish for the place was eating there when we came in and he was telling people about the experience when his picture also came up on a TV inside! Really neat how it all comes full circle. Would recommend this place!

Pub
Sports bar
Cannon Beach Hardware and Public House, also known as the Screw & Brew, offers a unique experience combining a hardware store with a cozy on-site bar serving wine, craft beer, and sandwiches. The establishment is popular among locals and visitors for its one-of-a-kind concept.
We brought our bikes to Cannon Beach, and somehow the lock holding it onto our bike carrier rack broke and wouldn't open. We came here to get a bolt cutter, and the man there (I'm sorry, I didn't catch his name) was so so nice. He let us borrow the bolt cutter to free our bikes. Just such a kind person. It made our day. Cannon Beach people really are the nicest people ever. Thank you for helping us!
Julie — Google review
For all the hype that I heard about this place, I was disappointed in what we got. The food was bland and really oily. We tried the calamari and fish and chips; neither dish had much seasoning (if any) and the breading around the fish felt almost as thick as the fish itself! Staff seemed rushed and uninterested in the work, and we were largely ignored throughout our time. The location/style of the restaurant is unique and pretty cool, but unless you need some actual hardware I’d look elsewhere for food.
Hunter P — Google review
We stopped here for an afternoon snack of chips and salsa. The chips and beverages were fine, but the salsa was odd--mostly onions and peppers, with very little tomato. This is truly a combination hardware store and cafe, so the atmosphere was interesting! There are just a few tables and most are large, so be prepared to share a table. Service was okay--we had to ask the cashier for our check, even though the place was hardly busy mid-afternoon.
Linda S — Google review
As with all resort eateries they are overpriced and underwhelming and typically serve tiny portions at big prices. Screw and Brew is actually a hardware store which our friends who live in or have second homes in Cannon Beach actually use quite a lot. It is also a restaurant which has a diverse menu and serves big portions, but still at the big prices but compared to the other eateries its the place to go if you want to eat in the sun on a picnic table in a parking lot ... hot bright dog friendly ... its very casual and summery feeling. Wait staff was attentive and drinks were delivered quickly and food was brought out with minimal wait time. The problem was that everything was fried and dripping in oil .. fried fish was nearly 3x the portion we received at Doogers and super fresh meat texture but the breading was super saturated on oil ... so much that after one piece we removed the breading from the other two pieces and had to wrap them in napkins before eating, buffalo chicken sandwich was haauuge and good but again dripping in oil, calamari was inedible it was so greasy .. there was literally 1/8 of standing fryer oil in the bottom of the bowl they were served in, reuban sandwiches bread was saturated in oil ... corn chowder wasnot very good .. really floury... beers and ciders on tap were good and sodas were typical pepsi products. All in all, the 8 of us enjoyed each other but collectively we all took a year off our lives but eating this $250 dinner. RECOMMENDED with some reservation
Paul W — Google review
Unique setting.. hardware store turned into restaurant . 5 stars for food.. the customer service was a bit weird. It felt a little bit rushed. We were sat 5 steps away from the bathroom which isn’t really ideal when you’re trying to enjoy your meal. There was no wait and three other tables free and available. The gentleman who was serving us put the receipt on the table halfway through our meal and reminded us twice to put a card down and sign the receipt .. again there was nobody waiting and no lunch rush - overall weird customer service experience but the food was absolutely delicious. Halibut, fish, sticks, and halibut brioche burger were amazing.
Aasaf R — Google review
One of the unique places to eat in Cannon Beach with a hardware store and public house. I reviewed the menu after a short wait for table and ordered a halibut burger with tater tots. The menu has appetizers, salads, burgers, and sandwich entrees such as black bean, chicken, meatloaf with fish and chip options. The entrees are served with potato chips that can be upgraded to a number of options including fries, tater tots, and salad. I received my order in about fifteen minutes with a nice amount of tater tots. The grilled halibut was served on a bun without sauce and it had good taste to it. The tater tots were crispy and not greasy. Located in Midtown Cannon Beach on South Hemlock Street next to Sleepy Monk Coffee and the public parking lot. A nice place to stop for lunch with a number of options such as pastrami, and Buffalo Chicken, beer and wine with friendly service in a hardware setting.
Ed L — Google review
Good atmosphere and quick walk from the beach. The fried fish sandwich was delicious, and the salad was huge. My 2 issues were that it was pretty expensive overall ($24 for a sandwich and fries), and there was a $14 upcharge for the shrimp on the salad which wouldn't be that bad except it only included 4 shrimp. $3.50 per shrimp seems a bit insane to me.

Nestled at the north end of town, Castaways Global Cuisine is a charming restaurant and bar that offers a fusion of Cajun-Creole, French, and Caribbean dishes. The colorful decor and tiki bar create a laid-back atmosphere perfect for unwinding after exploring Ecola State Park. Indulge in generous portions of creatively prepared Caribbean and Creole cuisine paired with an extensive selection of tropical cocktails.
This place has the best food in Canon Beach. The food is interesting, crafted, and delicious. The menu is much more interesting. The staff is also very friendly. The atmosphere is great as well. I highly recommend it, especially for a birthday or date night. The curry dish and lobster bisque are amazing.

Foodies Delight ! August 2025 We celebrated our anniversary here. It is all about the food, it is like eating at a friends home full of friends and your host is a 3 Star Michelin chef. It is beautifuly noisy and casual to a fault. The Food, The Food !!! Service was excellent on spot. Wonderfull Cocktails. The Chef came out after our meal at the end of service and chatted us up for 10 minutes, what a joy! After 56 years of celebrating anniversaries this was the best meal of them all (just inching out Mama's Fish House).

Omg best meal I have had in a very long time. Had copper river salmon and the green curry prawns. Super delicious. The staff was excellent and helpful. I even got to meet the chef who was a friendly and talented guy.

There’s nothing better than a welcoming friendly staff in a casual environment, serving perfectly prepared cuisine. The Scallops appetizer was the absolute show stopper!
Adrian M — Google review
We stopped in for dinner after wandering up and down the streets of Cannon Beach looking for something that didn't come out of a fryer or off of a griddle/grill. (Nothing against either of those!) We took a peek at the interesting and varied menu and decided to give Castaways a try. We were SO surprised by the quality of the food! I had the Seafood Étouffée and my wife had the Crab Gnocchi. Both were absolutely delicious, clearly created and prepared with love. We found out that the restaurant is chef owned and family operated by people who are passionate about providing high quality food in a place that doesn't require it. On top of that they had a very nice wine selection at reasonable prices. We've already recommended Castaways to others who will be visiting soon and will be back next time we are in town.
Daryl R — Google review
First night in town, a Friday in August, made our reservation at 3pm for 5pm for two people. That seemed to be what they had, so make reservations as early as possible. Reservations seem to be important througout town, so keep that in my for best experience. That said, the food was amazing. Sorry no pics, but we had the crab ravioli and the salmon. Both delicious. Also cocktails and wine were great. Our server, a gent who has apparently been there a long time, was very attentive. The decor is a little all over the place, but truly that is the least of my worries. Food and service was wonderful. We would 100% recommend this place and would go again.
Dawn Z — Google review
We enjoy this place every year for our Anniversary and they never fail in serving the best food & experience on the west coast. This is not hyperbole on my part, but I honestly believe that if this restaurant was in a larger town the Chef would easily be at least a James Beard Award winner if not a Star recipient. Reservations are highly suggested because on most nights you're not dining without one.
Patrick K — Google review
This restaurant truly stands the tests of time. The staff and Chef do an amazing job. The food is worth the money. My husband and I haven’t dined here for years and will continue to as long as we can.

Pub
Restaurant
Warren House Pub is a cozy establishment located in the far south end of Cannon Beach, known as Tolovana. The pub offers classic pub fare, cocktails, and locally brewed beers in a warm setting with a stone fireplace and outdoor seating. Guests can enjoy distant views of the ocean from the deck and even bring their dogs to the back patio, which features a tented, dog-friendly beer garden.
Wow! Absolutely delicious food and great service! A wonderful friendly atmosphere! We ate here several times because we loved everything about this great place. They have so many choices and daily specials. The soup of the day and salads are great as well as the heartier meals. The bar is great too. A place you will enjoy coming back to again and again.

If you are looking for a friendly place in a small town, where everyone knows each other, with good beer and good food... this is your place! Shoot, it's my place. I saw the signs while visiting the beach... loved it. The entrance is in the rear of the bar. Oh, the cooks sing while cooking which means they love what they are doing...cooking my food!

Had a good dinner! Was a bit hot outside which surprised us but good atmosphere. Food was good. Steak was prepped as ordered. We got the last half rack of ribs! Beer was good! Bacon burger was delish! Beer clams are recommended!
Denny S — Google review
When we first walked in, we stood there for a good few minutes with servers and waitresses all running around looking at us but no one greeted us or said anything. Ordered our food and had to go back in and bring it out to the tables ourselves, and clean up our table. The food was not great at all but we spent $90 on it. It tasted as though my 4 year old made the sandwich I ordered. Ordered mixed drinks and they were not good at all. Small portions. Crazy too high prices. Would not eat here again or recommend. Only positive was it was pet friendly. One of the waitresses even complained directly to us about how she had to run around collecting menus because “no one is bringing them back”. Maybe they should charge WAY less it customers are doing all the work that waiters do in any other restaurant. Also the shrimp cocktail did NOT look the same as pictured. It tasted like wet cat food.
Brittney K — Google review
They have dog friendly patio with a beautiful garden. The food is amazing. We had burgers twice. The ribs are to die for. My husband had pasta and it was spicy how he likes it.
Silvana S — Google review
I ordered the New York Steak and was very disappointed. The cut was extremely thin, more like a deli slice than a proper steak, and the quality of the meat did not resemble a strip loin. The sides were identical to my companion’s dish, and service was inattentive — no one checked back, and I had to pay at the counter myself. Although a staff member apologized when I gave feedback, overall this was one of the poorest steak experiences I’ve had, especially for the price.
Jan E — Google review
Save your money & go elsewhere. My partner and I ordered 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches and the smoked prawns for an appetizer. The prawns weren’t just meh, they were downright awful. We politely mentioned it to our waitress and she said “oh ok, sorry” with a shrug, and a tone like why are you telling me this? She couldn’t care less. We were both shocked at her rudeness. It would’ve been nice to bring a few shrimp to replace them or perhaps remove it from our bill. Some small gesture. But no, it was about $20 and inedible. The sandwiches were meh, edible but basic. Our bill was just about $100 (before tip). We both left pissed off and will never return.
Rebekah C — Google review
We enjoyed Warren House Pub in the past but today’s experience caused us to leave before ordering. I asked the waitress/bartender what the soup was for the day. Split Pea which can be really good or not. I asked if we could try a spoon taste. She said she would have to ask the cook. Saying they don’t like to do that. Saying the cook just knows we are going to like it. She went back to the kitchen shaking her head, apparently of frustration. The taste was delicious and several of our group of 6 were going order it. Unfortunately the waitress never came back to our table and 15 minutes went by as we watched her clear off tables, and clean up around the bar, anything except take our drink or food order. We felt ignored and that she did not want to serve us so left.

Bistro
Restaurant
Bistro Cannon Beach offers a blend of American cuisine with modern twists in a charming setting reminiscent of a French country inn. The restaurant is known for its stellar service and intimate ambiance, making it an ideal spot for special occasions. Chef Jack Stevenson, with experience from prestigious hotels like San Francisco's Mandarin Oriental, brings his vision to life through carefully crafted and expertly executed meals.
Delicious food with fresh ingredients, the waiter was super kind and attentive to us. The Caesar salad was so good I practically licked my plate (don’t worry I didn’t)! Loved how they have live music and a lively ambience, makes your conversation feel private. Love a restaurant that feels alive and this definitely gives that feel. This wins my favorite restaurant on Cannon Beach award. 🥇

we have been to cannon beach about four times now but had never been to this restaurant, so it was on our list. tonight was one of the best dinners we’ve had in a long time. our server trinh was amazing and took great care of us. i had the tuna and my husband had the filet, and the special peach ice cream topped with caramel sauce was the best ice cream i’ve had in a really long time, so i wanted to make sure to write a review. it was a busy night, but the service was wonderful and the live music was a nice touch as well.

Where to start…. Amazing experience, these words dont even do it justice. This food was definitely the best meal I’ve ever had. Pork belly 😱 insane flavor bomb in your mouth and the soft texture was unreal, the most unique Cesar salad, steak was perfection and the crab/prawn cakes omg with the most amazing depth of flavor sauces on everything. Let’s not forget the fresh foraged chanterelles with the creamiest buttery herb garlic sauce. Oh and the complementary fresh black sesame focaccia bread was to die for. You can really taste the passion Chef Jack puts into every dish. Oh and the spinach ice cream omg and the most lighted fluffiest cheesecake, I was completely taken back by my experience. My husband and I will be talking about the meal for years to come. Cannon Beach is lucky to have them. Oh yea and the waitress we had Jennifer was just like a friend I hadn’t seen in years, she was very attentive and so friendly and kind. And we absolutely loved our host JJ. Just the most amazing people. The atmosphere was so cozy, warming and very artistic. Loved all of the local art and small dried flowers and candles everywhere. I live 2 hours away and I will be definitely coming back to Cannon Beach just to eat here.

Bistro hosted our wedding dinner, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a smoother, more memorable evening. From the moment we arrived, the food and service were absolutely top notch. JJ and Chef Jack are phenomenal hosts — warm, attentive, and incredibly talented. They brought my vision to life with such care and creativity. A huge bonus: their gluten-free options were a lifesaver for my celiac-intolerant family members. Everyone felt included and well taken care of, which meant the world to us. Thank you, Bistro, for making our special night so magical. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Phenomenal experience dining at Bistro. The torn Burrata was a great starter and the citrus halibut special over spinach risotto was amongst the best halibut preparations we’ve had at any restaurant anyplace. Don’t miss the ice cream either - peach basil was a great end to our meal. Service was friendly and timely. We also enjoyed the live guitar music.

My wife and I went here for dinner on our anniversary and it was the perfect way to end the night! JJ provided such a welcoming environment with her kind energy. The chef (JJ's husband) really knows how to craft a menu! Our server Andrew was just as welcoming and attentive. The crab cakes were soooo delicious. We also had the chef special halibut dish and it was cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned/sauced. The tobiko garnish also provided a nice textural flair! Everything was so decadent! Thank you again for the wonderful dining experience! Looking forward to coming back!

We were lucky to score a last minute reservation during our 2nd Anniversary/Belated Honeymoon trip. I'm so happy we did! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with live music and exceptional staff. This is a place that you can tell the chef cooks with their whole heart, putting love into every element. We started with drinks and their amazing bread, followed with the Duck Confit and the BEST crab cakes we have ever had in our lives. We also ordered the Yellow fin Tuna main as well as the filet of beef cooked as rare as legally allowed served with these amazing potatoes, and just, wow. Everything was perfectly cooked, flavors were vibrant and delicate without being pretentious, and everything was like a work of art. Do not skip this place!! We can't wait to come back the next time we are in Cannon Beach!!

Top quality ingredients and inventive dishes. Fun cocktails. Excellent wine by the glass choices. Probably the best halibut dish I’ve ever eaten, with Thai inspired risotto and excellent micro greens. Been coming here for years and they’ve never missed on anything.

Mo's Seafood & Chowder in Cannon Beach is a local chain known for its casual setting and diverse menu. The restaurant is famous for its Oregonian clam chowder, but also offers a wide array of seafood dishes such as fish tacos, shrimp mix, oyster stew, and crab melts. Housed in a rustic building with retro decor and wooden bench seating, the restaurant provides impressive views of the Oregon seashore through floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
Came here to watch the sunset view while grabbing dinner and it was really fun! Great place for kids. The root beer float was especially delicious. The food was pretty good for the price, but THE GARLIC BREAD IS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD!!! Loved it!

Our family stopped here after exploring Hug Point and it was a great place to sit and grab a simple lunch with an amazing view! Our food was okay, not amazing, but it did the job. The clam chowder and fettuccine alfredo were our favorites! The staff were kind and the restaurant was clean. The people watching was probably the best part!

We waited 5 minutes before being seated. Our waitress was friendly. The entire staff was mainly focused on closing up for the day. We ordered our drinks and appetizer. We got the shrimp artichoke. Extremely cheesy. The clam chowder tasted like baked potato soup… very disappointing. We ordered the combination platter. The fries were hot and cold, did not eat them. The shrimp was great! The cod to me was VERY rubbery, did not eat it. Overall was a very mediocre meal experience.

Great little restaurant on Cannon Beach Tolvana Park. Wonderful view of Haystack Rock. Lots of Elk just randomly roaming and wild bunnies galore. Food was great. Must try the chowder bowl. Excellent. Service could've been a little better but not terrible.

Mo's was delightful. I am visiting and after a long day walking and photographing some of the local wonders I saw Mo's adjacent to Canon Beach. I am extremely happy I decided to give it a try. Wow! From the moment I walked in I felt welcome. The food is wonderful! I ordered the halibut fish and chips and a cup of clam chowder. Salads are an option to the chowder but I loved the chowder. I read that Mo's was first to generously fill the cup of chowder to the very brim, something that was to become a local custom. When the halibut and chips arrived it was plentiful and beautifully plated. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to finish since the chowder was hearty but the halibut was scrumptious and I finished all three of the large pieces and nearly all the chips which were also great. The service was friendly and fast, that cup of clam chowder arrived at my table maybe one minute after my waiter took my order. Amazing place, they apparently have extremely high standards for food and service. Go. Like myself you will be going again.
Timothy D — Google review
When you’re at Cannon Beach, with Haystack Rock towering in the distance and the salty breeze in the air, there’s no better way to complete the experience than a stop at Mo’s Seafood & Chowder. This beloved Oregon institution captures the essence of the Pacific Northwest in every bite — and if you’re looking to treat yourself to the full Mo’s experience, the Cannonball Bowl, Combination Plate, Oregon Oyster Shooter, and Hot Bay Shrimp Artichoke Dip are a power lineup that delivers on every front. ⸻ 🔥 Cannonball Bowl This is not just a chowder — it’s a chowder event. Served in a warm, crusty sourdough bread bowl, the Cannonball is overflowing with their signature clam chowder, topped generously with Oregon bay shrimp and shredded cheddar. The chowder is creamy and full of flavor, rich with tender clams and just the right touch of smoky bacon. The shrimp adds a sweet, briny lift, and the melted cheese ties everything together into a hearty, soul-warming dish. Eat the bowl — trust me, every bite of the sourdough soaked in chowder is worth it. ⸻ 🍤 Combination Plate If variety is the spice of life, the Combination Plate is where Mo’s shows off its strengths. You get a generous mix of breaded shrimp, wild Pacific cod, and tender clam strips — all fried to golden perfection. The seafood is fresh and never greasy, with a light, crispy coating that doesn’t overpower the natural flavors. Served with fries, tangy coleslaw, and their house tartar sauce, it’s the perfect introduction to Oregon’s coastal seafood in one plate. ⸻ 🦪 Oregon Oyster Shooter Small but mighty. This shot of ocean-fresh brine packs a flavorful punch. Served with cocktail sauce and a dash of horseradish, the Oregon oyster shooter is an exhilarating palate cleanser. It’s fresh, clean, and just spicy enough to awaken the senses. A must for oyster lovers — and an ideal way to kick off your meal. ⸻ 🧄🧀 Hot Bay Shrimp Artichoke Dip This appetizer is addictive. Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with tender bay shrimp and artichoke hearts, it’s served bubbling hot with toasted baguette slices on the side. The shrimp adds a savory sweetness that perfectly complements the richness of the dip, and there’s just enough garlic to give it depth without overpowering the seafood. It’s perfect for sharing — though you might want it all for yourself. ⸻ ✨ Atmosphere & Service Mo’s at Cannon Beach has that classic Oregon coast charm — casual, friendly, and always welcoming. The large windows let in natural light and, if you snag a window seat, you’ll enjoy a picturesque view of the beach while you dine. The staff are knowledgeable, quick with recommendations, and clearly take pride in the food they serve. ⸻ 🌊 Final Verdict: Mo’s delivers on its legacy with a seafood experience that’s authentic, flavorful, and full of coastal character. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, this combination of dishes offers a little bit of everything — warmth, comfort, and bold Oregon flavor. Don’t just stop by — come hungry. 5/5 stars — A perfect Cannon Beach experience from first bite to last.

We walked thrle beach after checking out from our hotel next door to Mo's. Got seated in a window table right away for lunch. Our waiter was hilarious and super nice. Food came out hot and quickly. We were instantly full and happy before driving back to Portland. Such a nice spot, glad we stopped in! Thank you!
Lindsey F — Google review
The worst seafood I've had in 3-years. I'm guessing that their cooks have given up. I ordered the combo platter. The best part of the meal was a salad with bay shrimp. The clam strips only tasted of breading. The cod was plentiful, but had no flavor & was chewy. The tarter sauce tasted like plain mayonnaise with chunks of pickle. The cocktail sauce tasted just like catsup. We were seated next to the window, providing amazing views of the beach. At a landmark like this, you would expect better food. I ate here 3-years ago, and was disappointed. I'm even more disappointed today.

Pizza A' Fetta Cannon Beach is a popular two-floor pizzeria known for its unique pies, slices, and salads. The cozy space offers a selection of local and Italian wines to complement the delicious food. Visitors rave about the generous portion sizes and fresh ingredients used in their pizzas, which come with a variety of meat, seafood, and creative vegetarian toppings. In addition to pizza, the restaurant also offers an array of appetizers, soups, and salads.
Hands-down the best pizza slice place in town. We've been coming here for 20 years. Initially, it was because it was the most budget-friendly place for a single parent with two kids who loved pizza... and because they had the best pepperoni slices and triple cheese slices in town. Pro tip: We've learned to ask for them to keep it in the oven just a little longer so the crust could come out extra crisp...and then the kids would sprinkle so much Parmesan and chili peppers that it looked like a happy snow storm. It's just pure happiness when you pick up your slice from the side window, find a seat in the courtyard area, then bite into that pizza slice as the cheese oozes off. Something about the triple cheese and the herbs they use makes it the best cheese pizza around. This weekend, bc we came to celebrate 20 years of coming to Cannon Beach together as a family, and we were treating friends, we decided to splurge by ordering the extra large 18-inch pepperoni pizza to go. They gave us the plates we made sure there was plenty of Parmesan and chili on it and that pizza didn't last very long. We realized pretty quickly we could've ordered two pies bc they tasted so good. We sat out outside and finished off the whole pie in 10 minutes flat. Then last night for the first time in years the kids and I actually decided to eat in the restaurant because it was raining pretty hard out… and the patio wasn't going to be a tenable option. Server was great and she was quick. We ordered the A'fetta Salad and the Greek Salad. about $11-$12 each -- the ingredients were fresh and the Greek salad came happily loaded with feta cheese while the other salad was well loaded with the different meats and peppers and tomatoes. We recommend the A'fetta Salad if you are hungry. Then came the pizza slices -- and they were in the oven just a little longer to make the crispy the way we like them and we inhaled the slices in just a few minutes. We were probably out of there in less than 30 minutes which suited us since we had plans and the tab was around $40. Once again a serious gift for our humble family budget. Service was friendly, attentive, and prompt. It is our tradition to pick up a slice on our way out of town because it's a comfort food when you have to leave one of your favorite places.
Mari K — Google review
We waited in line at the takeout line. Once we got closer, my wife got pooped on by a bird. There's a bird's nest directly over the place you order food. See pictures for the location of the bird nest. We then went back to the car so my wife could change. Then we waited in line again as more people got pooped on. There is a "Public Notice of Sanitation Exceeded" photo in their window to advertise that they exceed sanitation standards, but the fact that the bird poop is all over their ordering area and customers, and the fact the staff serves the pizza with their bare hands, makes me wonder how in depth this sanitation evaluation was... It frightens me wondering how many people might have gotten poop in their food. The pizza was very soggy and not possible to eat without folding. I understand this is how they make it. The salad was just lettuce, black olives, onions, and mushrooms. Also, I got very very bad gas the night after eating this pizza. It was excruciating! I'm not sure what it was, but it was definitely the pizza.

Came here for my birthday dinner while in Cannon beach! Server was awesome! Food was amazing. Dining area was small but we went in the off season so we were able to snag a table. Get the Pinot Gris! Pizzas are huge so make sure you’re hungry! Try the crab artichoke dip too. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could.

We ordered 18 inch pizza, the crust was fantastic, the toppings were excellent. Anytime I see a top 50 pizza in the nation...gotta try it. I was not disappointed. The taste was right and did not have a thirsty effect after because of the quality of ingredients used.
Sheng C — Google review
Edible ✅ Yummy ❌ In my opinion, it’s slightly better than cafeteria pizza. I can tolerate the greasiness, but the added sugar is unappealing, and the cheese flavor is unrecognizable. My wife mentioned the caesar salad was void of flavor. Bummed because this place is rated so high.
David C — Google review
Not my favorite pizza, but very very good nonetheless. Crust is standard New York (bend to eat), dough had good flavor with quality yeast and aging. Sauce was good, but a little light. Cheese blend is very good. Toppings are quality and pepperoni is closer to European Spicy Sausage, which was a lovely surprise. Staff are very nice and attentive. Truly enjoyed it even on day 2.

Tried to order a mushroom sausage pizza, 1/2 add cheddar & 1/2 add pepperoni. That was too hard. Ordered a mushroom sausage & pepperoni pizza but got an undercooked sausage mushroom pizza. Low bar set and was very disappointed.

Very unfortunately waited a good 45 minutes for the “pizza” restaurant to open. Then another 50 minutes for the pizza itself after we were told 25 minutes. Would not have been bothered by the wait if the pizza had been fully cooked. Can’t even serve this to my kids in the fear of getting them sick with salmonella. As soon as we picked up the pizza the “worker” who ‘’made” the pizza was playing on her Nintendo switch and apparently far too busy to cook a pizza to safety standards. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

Came in and a older cashier lady (probably the owner )was super rude. We were walking around checking out the place since it was our 1st time in and she Yelled " The Pizza Area is Closed. She then Rolled her eyes when we asked about their food products. Then my child asked if a certain item was able to be opened, she answered "yes, BUT DON'T OPEN IT" Her nasty attitude was so unnecessary. Maybe she was in a bad mood cuz it was 30 min till closing time. Who knows but very uncalled for. Not a welcoming or pleasant experience at all especially for a small business.

Newmans at 988 is an intimate and elegant restaurant located on Hemlock Street in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Helmed by award-winning chef John Newman, this fine-dining establishment offers a seafood-heavy menu with a focus on classic French and Italian cuisine, particularly from the Piedmont and Genoa regions of Italy. The cozy converted beachside cottage features sophisticated decor, soft lighting, and an intimate ambiance with just ten tables.
Honestly I didn’t know what to expect coming into Newman’s but WOW, I’m so glad we came here! This was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in my life! Also an incredible fine dining experience. We got the Chef Prix Fixe (four course meal) with wine pairing and it was to die for. The restaurant is in a historical house which was unique and it had a homey feel to it. The staff were all friendly and service was great. Must make a reservation here, perfect for date night at the beach! We will definitely be back!

We went here for our anniversary dinner. The waitress we had was absolutely wonderful. The service is incredible, and the food is out of this world. Absolutely delicious. We had scallops as an appetizer, a radish salad, halibut and duck l'orange for the entrees. A chocolate ganache cake with Gelato for dessert. One of my favorite anniversary meals yet 😋

One of our favorite restaurants at Cannon Beach. Lobster ravioli and scallops were amazing, loaded with flavors. Duck Brest was cooked to about medium. I usually prefer slightly to the medium rare side. But again, the whole dish was very flavorful.

Well when you first see the little and I mean little yellow house; you really don't know what to expect. However, once inside and sitting down you realize that they get great reviews for a reason. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. One of the best dinning experiences we had in Cannon Beach!

We had a very nice dinner at Newman’s on a special patio (their primary patio was closed). I especially enjoyed their rack of lamb. It was medium rare and had perfect seasoning and didn’t overuse the rosemary, which many restaurants do. The use of finely chopped hazel nuts was great. We also had their Marshall Davis Cabernet - really great Cab. We will be back. Very nice.

We just got married and had our dinner there. They were so accommodating as we were late. When we got there, Julie, the amazing hostess greeted us with such warm energy and sat us at our candlelit table with rose petals! Wendy and Julie provided such great service and the chef even gave us champagne and ravioli on the house. Every single thing we ate was incredibly beautiful and flavorful! Although prices are expensive, this is the best place to eat in Cannon Beach! You will be satisfied!
Helenore K — Google review
Absolutely the best meal of my whole life! The service was perfect. The food was perfect. The atmosphere was fancy and amazing. We were slightly dressed up (still in jeans) and we did feel underdressed. Which is super understandable since this is an authentic Italian fine dining restaurant. We had the Chef Prix dinner. I told my husband two bites into the main course (prime rib) that I could die after dinner and have no regrets at all in life. There are a number of reviews complaining about the price or portion sizes. We both took home left overs. The dishes are cooked with such skill and mastery. The ingredients are fabulous. Is it expensive? Maybe. But we were more than happy to pay for it, and plan to go back in the future. Make a reservation just to be safe as there is very limited seating. Go with an empty stomach, and enjoy.

I had better hopes for this bakery, but it was disappointing all around. The staff was mildly friendly and helpful despite an otherwise quiet afternoon. I purchased $20+ of baked goods, but they were all low-quality. I considered returning the box and requesting a partial refund, but did not want to upset the staff. My chief concern was that I asked the staff if some of their pastry items were soft (so they could be safely consumed by my child), and I was assured they were. However, I dropped off the box with my husband, and both he and my child reported that each of the several types of cookies purchased were rock hard. This applied to the chocolate chip cookie and butter cookie. The snickerdoodle cookies were not as tough, but definitely not chewy or soft. I bought a ginger/molasses cookie, but it tasted dry and lacked the classic chewy texture of a quality one. The slice of banana bread I purchased was certainly not made fresh as the employee told me. It was a few days old. The ginger /molasses cookie was tough and a little hard. Lastly, the almond pastry tasted artificial and tough. The flavors were off, and I have never tasted an almond pastry so poorly executed. The employee was passive and uninterested in providing good service. If you have to be dishonest about your product (and it's freshness), perhaps you should not work there. To other customers: take your dollars elsewhere.

Cute place. Very disappointing apple fritter....less fritter, more of an apple bread - pretty dense/heavy. Apple cider donut, however, was great and crispy.

This was such a great stop! We went twice during our weekend stay and had great pastries and cookies each time. Baked in-house, all their delicacies are decent sized, reasonably priced (comparatively for the current economy), and the coffee was good too. I always love a quality pastry with my coffee, so we'll definitely be stopping in again next time we're in town.

Anna’s Table in Cannon Beach is a new and highly recommended dining spot that offers an impressive seafood menu. Visitors have raved about the fresh oysters, salmon roll with cucumber mignonette, and the octopus. The green salad has been described as the best ever had. Guests have also enjoyed dishes like crab cakes and Petrale, as well as the seafood stew and halibut. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly, with first-class service.
The food, service, and atmosphere were lovely. The wine list is varied and has many options, including wines by the glass. We had the beet salad, Chinook salmon, rib eye steak, and coconut cake, and all were fabulous. The portions were generous, and we took home part of our meal for dinner the next night. We enjoyed the table with a view into the open kitchen. Watching the chefs work was very fun. Windy provided attentive but not fussy service, and gave great advice as to wines and food. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Reservations are recommended, we saw several people turned away because the restaurant was fully booked.

Best restaurant in Oregon! Don’t miss it. Go out of your way if you have to. The service was perfect, and the food was spectacular. Everything was right on point. It looked beautiful and tasted even better. Chef John and his sous our friendly and talkative despite being hard at work. Sit at the chef’s counter for a great show. The halibut cheeks with the mushroom cream sauce, delicately flavored with Pernod, are sublime. We had five appetizers because everything sounded so good and we wanted to sample many things. The coconut cake with homemade dense ice cream were a great finale although had I known about the local berry shortcake before the bill came I would’ve had that too! Definitely do the haystack rock walk prior to dinner if you can and then check it out again at sunset!

Came here over the past weekend to celebrate our engagement over a nice meal. While the dinner itself was solid we weren’t blown away by the service or the value compared to some other spots in town. We had a reservation and I’ll start by saying that the inside of the space is quite nice and modern while still feeling homey. We were quickly taken to our table which was great. The service however wasn’t quite what we were hoping for. I’ll note that I had mentioned in the reservation that we were coming in to celebrate an engagement, so I thought I’d see a little acknowledgement of it but didn’t see or hear anything from anyone on the staff. Additionally, there was an amuse bouche that every table around us received but our server didn’t bring to us which was a disappointment. Overall just weren’t wowed which I would expect from this caliber of restaurant. The food was good. We had the linguine and the salmon. It just felt maybe a little spendy for the value of what you were getting. Additionally the bread that got brought out was delicious but it was not warm which was a disappointment. Don’t get me wrong it was a nice meal but not a place I would rush back to and I was hoping they would have done a little more to celebrate a special evening, especially if the reservation system asks for it.

My husband and I stopped by Anna’s Table and were absolutely blown away. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and at home. The ambiance was beautiful and thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect setting for a memorable evening. A special thanks to our server, who guided us through the menu, helping us appreciate every dish even more. We loved his service and everything we tried! We got married on Cannon Beach last summer and plan to return every year for our anniversary. Without a doubt, Anna’s Table will be part of that tradition. Thank you for an extraordinary evening!

John provided phenomenal service with excellent recommendations, making the whole evening feel incredibly personal. Every dish featured fresh, vibrant vegetables, and we ended with a delicious coconut cake. The wine list was thoughtful and served as a great compliment to the food. The intimate ambiance made it one of the best meals we've had in the area – highly recommend!

AMAZING DINNER! One of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had—easily on par with world-class Michelin-starred restaurants. We booked the chef’s table a few weeks in advance and had been looking forward to this meal during our trip to Cannon Beach. The team here does everything perfectly. They source local, farm-to-table ingredients and elevate them with world-class technique, while still keeping the food honest, refined, and approachable. The focus on quality ingredients truly shines. Chef John brings a personal touch to his dishes, drawing inspiration from the food he grew up with. It really comes through in the flavors. As frequent travelers to Europe, we especially appreciated hearing about his Swiss roots—my fiancée lived in Europe for a time and said the meal reminded her of some of the incredible homemade dishes she had there. If you’re a fan of watching a master at work, book the chef’s table. It’s a fun and engaging experience with a great vibe. Chef John was kind enough to start us off with an amuse-bouche: a seafood sausage, local Dungeness crab, smoked salmon, and pickled steelhead. This opening course rivaled the high-end omakase seafood we’ve had in Japan—absolutely phenomenal. For our main courses, I had Petrale for the first time, perfectly paired with a crisp Chardonnay, while my fiancée enjoyed a hearty ribeye steak with prawns. Each dish was satisfying, beautifully prepared, and made with high-quality, healthy, farm-fresh ingredients. We finished with a delicious coconut cake and a pot of locally sourced tea—an ideal way to end the evening. The service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, without being overly formal. The front-of-house team struck the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. Truly some of the best service we’ve ever experienced. The atmosphere was inviting and thoughtfully designed. It felt modern yet cozy, with a coastal flair that made it feel like we were dining in the chef’s personal home kitchen. Every detail in the decor added to the overall experience. The name “Anna’s Table” couldn’t be more fitting—it really did feel like we were guests at someone’s beautiful, welcoming home, being served food made with passion and care.

Every single dish was amazing. The amuse bouche was pink shrimp with lemon and dill was perfection. The sourdough focaccia in rosemary olive oil had the perfect amount of chew and a delicious crust. We split the beet salad, crab cakes, sturgeon dish, and coconut cake with vanilla ice cream. The crab cakes were all crabmeat that somehow were held together without any bread fillers. The beet salad was one of my favorite dishes. The goat cheese with horseradish and honey was extraordinary! The sturgeon was delicately cooked and served in a lovely Pernod cream sauce with green beans, cherry tomatoes, chanterelle's, and marble potatoes. The sauce was so good I used a spoon to get every last bit. Our server, John, was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. He really made our evening that much more special. This is the best restaurant in Cannon Beach and one of our favorite restaurants of all time.

We went to Cannon Beach to celebrate our 32nd Anniversary. Seeking a restaurant for a special dinner, we researched the restaurants in the area on the internet. We chose Anna’s Table based on the description and the reviews and made a reservation three weeks ahead. We were promptly greeted by a very friendly gentleman who took us to our table in the cozy, casual plus elegant dining room. We made the perfect choice! Our server was Camille. She was warm, gracious and attentive. Now to the food!!! OMG!! It was FANTASTIC! Everything was!! For starters, we were given a small dish of tiny shrimps from the chefs to prepare our palates. We both ordered the Beet Salad. It was amazing! Cubed beets of different colors artistically arranged with butter lettuce, pea shoots and a pink “goat cheese with a hint of horseradish” dressing painted in circle outlines on the plate! Magnificent! We took our time not wanting these flavors to end. Plus, along with this was the very best Focaccia we have ever had—baked in-house daily. Pieces were cut and standing vertically in a dish with olive oil and sea salt. Fantastic! Our main dish was Manila Clams Linguine! Exquisite!!! There were more than enough clams. The linguine is house made. The broth was wonderful with hints of fennel and garlic. We didn’t leave a drop behind! Finally, dessert choices! We chose the Chocolate Budino and split it. It was creamy good chocolate, topped with good cream, and left us wonderfully satisfied with the most tasty pleasurable food and dining experience. Thank you Anna’s Table.

The Screw n Brew is Oregon's first and only combo hardware store and pub. It offers a wide variety of hardware, food, and drink options for locals and tourists alike. Fish and chips are typically priced at $20, with an ahi salad being the most popular dish on the menu. If the staff doesn't know you, expect them to be more inclined to serve you tourist food rather than award-winning Oregon craft beers.
So darn yummy! I loved this spot - I had no idea why the restaurant was named this, but it was so very cool to figure it out seated in an off hours hardware store!!!!!!! Super delicious drinks - wow! Yummy food and fries! Quick and friendly service!

Happy accident for us passing through from Astoria. A friendly welcome and prompt seating. Great service especially considering it was about 1230 and busy. We went with the fish and chips and buffalo chicken burger, fries and Cajun tots. Everything was really solid and the buffalo chicken was pretty much perfection. Great portions as well. We love what they did with ambience as well, unfitted hardware store into restaurant. We will certainly be back, not only for of the food but most of all these days: for the friendly upbeat service.

We stopped in thinking we would just have a beverage and ended up ordering the Pastrami Sandwich (made with house brined and smoked pastrami), which was delicious. The bartender was really friendly and even gave us a few other recommendations for places to go during our travels (he did not steer us wrong!). I personally liked that it was away from the congestion of the main part of town. It’s a quaint little bar and we are glad we gave it a try. (Note: the photo of the food is half the order we shared.)

This place would have had Anthony Bourdain hanging out for an entire day. While the food is nothing that will blow your mind, it was tasty, and the atmosphere and prices are worth it. The restaurant has truck and airpain seats for chairs, tools, hardware, and other random stuff hanging and covering the walls and ceilings, and music thay was equally eclectic. Death Cab for Cutie to CCR to funk - the chef clearly just put on a mix of what they liked. This place seemed like it had a huge local customer base. We saw a lady bring the staff cookies and other locals pop in to chat. The staff were super kind and helpful. We'd go back again for sure. This place simultaneously makes no sense and all the sense in the world. Great vibes all around.

Stopped in because of their proximity to the beach but wished we wouldn’t have gone here in retrospect. Burger was underwhelming, bland and dry, pastrami ruben was chewy and gave my partner terrible indigestion. Small selection of beers on draft. Won’t be going back and recommend checking out other options.

I have to say, fish and chips are not my thing, but they claim it is their signature dish. It's by far the most expensive fish and chips I've had, only having it a few times before our time at Screw and Brews. It was slightly greasy, but overall, it tasted fine. It didn't blow my mind. The fish (halibut) came with their famous tartar sauce. The sauce had a light taste, and it was good. The fries that came as a side were nothing special. Very nice service, down-to-earth and friendly. I wasn't overly impressed, but the service was nice, and there was a quick turnaround on the food. It's a unique experience; you can get your hardware and food at one stop. Next time you need some duct tape or a quick fix for your camper, stop in and beat the hangry monster before you make the camper repair worse.

Fun restaurant in Cannon Beach right along Rt. 101 with decent food and good service. My partner and I both ordered the Grilled Cheese with chips, and loved the sandwich. Our son ordered the Pastrami with Fries and he did enjoy the flavors and the sandwich. Our sons girlfriend ordered the Ecola Burger with tater tots and really liked the burger. Our waiter was very friendly and helped us pick a few places along the coast to stop for views of the beaches. Worth a stop while visiting Cannon Beach.

The name comes from what one gets there: hardware and alcohol. We stopped by to have a couple of drinks and ended up ordering appetizers (calamari and onion rings), which were delicious. The atmosphere was cool.
