Restaurant
Los Gallos is a vibrant rock 'n' roll-themed restaurant chain that offers a high-energy atmosphere and serves up delicious Mexican and Latin cuisine. Located in Punta Cana, it's a popular spot for tourists seeking authentic Mexican dishes. The menu features an array of mouthwatering options, including golden chicken tacos, fajitas, traditional soups, turkey enchiladas, and more.
My husband and I LOVED our time here! We were seated within 2 minutes, the staff was amicable and very helpful. The drinks and food were great, would definitely recommend this cute place to anyone looking for a delicious ceviche! There was a man in a sombrero going around with a cute little adult beverage cart. Our server was Ramirez and he was very professional, attentive and helpful. Kudos to this restaurant for how smooth they operate and cater to their guests.

Probably my favorite restaurant at the Hard Rock, but that’s not saying much. The ribeye chicharron and the tortillas with assortment of sauces were my favorite. Everything else was mid.
Mony K — Google review
In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in the whole hotel… and yes, that includes the fancy ones that make you feel like you need a security clearance just to get a table. The ribeye chicharrones are on another level — like heaven decided to become crispy beef. The BBQ tacos? Pure poetry on a tortilla with a happy ending. The service is so good I almost thought they knew me personally (spoiler: they don’t, they’re just that nice). The margaritas won’t win any awards, but they get the job done like an unsung movie hero. Bottom line: if you’re at the Hard Rock and skip Los Gallos, it’s like leaving before the headliner hits the stage.
Valek — Google review
This restaurant has the best tasting food at the resort. Everyone was wonderful and treated us well. The ceviche tostada and skinny margaritas were fantastic!
Paige S — Google review
This is not Mexican food. Braised short ribs and bbq pork ribs. The ribs didn’t even have the sauce! Fish was disgusting. Only thing here that was really good was the chorizo and skirt steak tacos BUT they didn’t serve it with salsa!!! Delicious. Everything else is a waste. Octopus sopes had very little octopus. Worst restaurant on the resort.
Michael — Google review
Sirloin tacos & fajita were good!💗👍 No need to make a reservation.
Jung O — Google review
What a great meal! Let’s start with the great stuff first. The tequila guy with the cart! Don Julio añejo? Yes please. The regular margarita tasted like it was from a mix and not fresh. Hard to complain when it’s complimentary. The mango one was better due to the good mango in there. The guacamole was a lighter green than what I’ve gotten in the US but it was good. The pico de Gallo was off the chart excellent. Very fresh and perfectly seasoned. The chips were good. Medium texture dry and crisp. The wheat tortillas are flour and they were excellent. The first appetizer was either beef quesadillas or soft wheat tacos. Either was it was very very good. The queso or fundido was also excellent. That cheese had the best pull I’ve seen. I didn’t try the taquitos. All of the ceviches I had were EXCELLENT! Very fresh, chilled, and perfectly seasoned. The soup was very good also. Kind of a bean purée. The salmon with the grilled onion on top was overcooked for my liking and had several bones. The shrimp tacos were excellent! The chicken fajitas were very good. The churros were very good. I would have liked something thicker than plain milk at the bottom of the tres leches cake, but the cake was excellent! The chef’s selection desert was ice cream which was excellent, cheese cake squares which were standard fare, rice pudding which was great I just personally don’t care for it, but the handmade caramel pop corn was OUTSTANDING! The service was first class ! Be sure to make reservations here !!!!

The service can't be faulted but the food was a let down. Quesidilla starter was way too cheesy while the Enchiladas main was soggy and lacking in taste. We did try the jalapeño tequila from a range of different flavours which was an experience and worth a go. Overall we enjoyed the service but wouldn't go back due to the average food.

Dominican restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Punta Cana, La Casita de Yeya is a delightful haven for those craving authentic Dominican cuisine. This charming restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere complemented by warm and attentive service. Open daily from 11 am until around 11 pm, it serves up a variety of traditional dishes that showcase the rich flavors of local ingredients.
🌟 A Culinary Experience to Remember! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and truly made us feel like VIPs. The ceviche was a perfect balance of citrus and spice, so fresh it practically danced on the tongue. And the lobster? Absolutely divine, tender, buttery, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a celebration of Caribbean coastal cuisine. If you’re looking for a place where the food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality come together in perfect harmony, this is it. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious and our favorite meal while in the DR. The owner was helping to take orders and see how things were going, the rest of the staff was really nice and they were quick with getting the food out as it was 11am-12pm. I got the goat with rice and beans and my boyfriend got the steak and onions with rice and beans! He ordered another serving after he liked it so much and the empanadas were DELICIOUS! We got the beef and chicken ones. We asked for salsa/hot sauce on the side and it was a great addition! Goat was tender and flavorful and the rice was cooked just right and the pinto beans had nice flavor too! Highly recommend!
Alexus R — Google review
We went on back to back days for lunch. We recommend the Platano Mofongo con Camarones, Sancocho con arroz, y La Ceviche. Servers were excellent. The interior is decorated in bright colors.
David S — Google review
The food was very delicious. The service was mid.i think they over charge me more for what the menu say. I ordered the whole fried fish which says 1059 RD ($17) on the menu, but later on the receipt the fish was 1900 RD ($31). They also didn’t mentioned that the bean on the side was an extra 150 RD which didn’t make sense since I thought the beans was included with fried fish dish. It really said so. I really they told me beforehand that price will vary. Also I didn’t like that there was an automatic tip because my bill came up to $80 for my one person. That’s with fried fish, a side, an app, and two beers. Make sure to clarify that before ordering wether you speak Spanish or English.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re in Punta Cana and don’t stop by La Casita de Yeya, you’re truly missing out on one of the best Dominican culinary experiences. Chef Roberto is nothing short of spectacular—his dishes are full of flavor and heart. The creamy rice (arroz meloso) was outstanding, the goat stew was prepared to perfection, and the traditional Dominican sancocho was absolutely first-class. The service was just as remarkable. Mariel, our hostess, gave us such warm and attentive service that we felt right at home. In short: amazing food, top-notch service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. A must-visit spot in Punta Cana!
Milagros A — Google review
Loved the fried red snapper they had it was so delicious and flavorful. The fruit juices are amazing and the appetizers was great as well. The only thing is make sure you check it there and pork in any dishes that you like or want to try. This goes for any restaurant in Dominican Republic.
Maurice B — Google review
The only food re really enjoyed were the empanadas, most of the rest of the food we ordered were cold or they didn’t currently have. The pasta was not edible. The staff was very dismissive all but one he was helpful. It took two hours to be seated they kept on telling us the table was almost ready. Flys everywhere, we even made a game of the lizards eating before us.
Irene J — Google review
Went to this restaurant last night with my family. They waitress had attitude plus couldn't explain the menu clearly. I ordered several items but the fry fish was not what I ordered. I specifically ordered red snapper fish and they told me yes they have this. The fish I received was not red snapper which I found to be very dishonest. This is my second time here and the same bad experience once again.

Mexican restaurant
Nestled in a charming commercial center, Pastrata Mexican Restaurant is a delightful gem that beckons food lovers, especially those with vegan and vegetarian preferences. This cozy eatery boasts an extensive menu where many dishes can be easily adapted to suit plant-based diets by simply omitting cheese. With outdoor seating available and complimentary WiFi, it’s an ideal place to unwind after a day of adventures. The vibrant ambiance complements the mouthwatering offerings like fresh guacamole, veggie tacos, and hearty burritos.
Pastrata is amazing! Truly the best margarita I’ve ever had in my life, so refreshing! The owner Pastrata and his dog are so friendly. I have a gluten allergy and Pastrata was so accommodating and have multiple gluten free options (almost the whole menu!) which is rare to see even in the US. Would recommend to my friends and family!! Thank you all for the amazing experience and tasty gluten free meal. Will be coming back :)

Our experience was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement. While the first couple of dishes were decent, the service left much to be desired — the waitstaff clearly needs more training. I ordered a "Lemon Pie" for dessert, but what I received was a rock-solid, chocolate-drizzled lemon ice cream instead. When I pointed it out to two waitresses, they laughed, took the plate away without an apology, and didn’t offer to remove it from the bill. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning to this restaurant😔.

We had dinner here on a Friday night and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. People were friendly and welcoming and there was good parking. I liked the outdoor seating too. We had limonadas which were really wonderful! I could drink those all day. The chips and guacamole were good. Some of us had the ceviche and liked that. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were okay but not great--a little greasy and not sizzling like fajitas are typically. They were kind of limp. Others had the mozzarella cheese slab rolled around meat (the arrechera) and I think it would have been good if it hadn't been overcooked. A great idea but the execution was a little off. Others had the camaron tacos and the nachos and thought they were pretty good. I know this is a popular place so maybe it was an off day. The drinks and chips were really good! With water and drinks and entrees we spent under $50 including tax and tip so it's reasonably priced.

Wonderful Mexican restaurant to visit while in Punta Cana. The food is fantastic and so very fresh. Everything is made to order. The menu is large and gives many options for different dietary preferences. The owner is very accommodating, friendly, and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Pastrata is a restaurant that highlights Mexican gastronomy. As a Mexican myself, I truly appreciate the excellent way Lore and Hernán express our culture through their food. This is my second time visiting their restaurant. On my first visit, I had a delicious pozole rojo, and this time I enjoyed some exquisite cheese-crust tacos. Thank you very much for the outstanding service.

Food and service were amazing. Best Authentic Mexican Food in RD. Owners present and extremely friendly. Thank you for a great meal, we'll definitely be back!

Very good food would highly recommend if you are in Punta Cana, we have been disappointed with the food in Punta Cana but thank god we decided to try this place. We got the shrimp and fish tacos and we would say 10/10 also the juice is freshly squeezed and very good.

Onno's Punta Cana / Bavaro is a popular beach club with four locations in the Dominican Republic, including Altos de Chavon, Bavaro, Bayahibe, and Zona Colonial. It offers a vibrant beach experience with dining, drinks, and lively parties. The beachfront bar and restaurant provide excellent service and a wide selection of cocktails and shots. Guests can enjoy happy hour from 5 pm to 8 pm daily.
From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had the pleasure of being served by John and Massiel who provided top-notch service. Attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. I ordered the spicy margarita- perfectly balanced cocktail. Our meals came in timely manner which we also enjoyed. Not to mention the ocean view next to the bar. Highly recommend—this place is a gem!

Took advantage of the taco Tuesday special. Had the Al Pastor taco which was enough. I would have been hard pressed to eat a second for sure. I also included a couple of classic margaritas. I will definitely be back for more. On the beachside of the restaurant is the outdoor bar and seating area. They have some couches which will fill up in a hurry. Seating at the bar and also by the beach is in high demand. Worth the wait to sit there for sure.
Steven R — Google review
Service is an issue. No one cares, no one welcomes, or interested to serve some food or drink options. We came in for the special pizza offer, got denied, still placed an order; waited for 45 minutes during absolutely not busy time. Food was ok, asked for salt; gave me “something” mixed with dirty rice in a used beer bottle that doesn’t work so I have to make wholes with fork in the cork. Dissatisfaction

Nice little bar that sits on the beach, with a beautiful view at sunset. Bartender made a great B-52 shot and we had the tacos. Not familiar with the neighborhood but always use caution when in unfamiliar territory.

Thank you for such a great time! It was our first time here and everything was amazing... the margs and food was 10/10. Also the ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful. Our server, Massiel was the best! She took our pictures and made sure we had the best time!

We ate here tonight and enjoyed it! The service and atmosphere was on point! The appetizers and most of the tacos were amazing. The only tacos I didn't enjoy were the pork belly and El Pastor one's. The flavor was good but the meat was burnt and hard. I thought there were toothpicks left behind. Besides that, we tried all the other tacos and they were amazing! We will definitely be back in the future! The margaritas are great also! We tried all 4 of them. Highly.l recommend!

Bamboo is a highly recommended restaurant that offers an excellent Thai food experience, exquisite sushi, and delicious salmon with cream. The service is impeccable and the staff are attentive and responsive to individual needs. Customers have praised the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the top-notch service provided by waiter Delvin. The restaurant stands out for its amazing food, particularly the dumplings and pad thai chicken. Overall, Bamboo is considered one of the best dining options in its location.
Asian style restaurant. It starts with an excellent sushi bar and the a la carte meals are very good too.

okay so here’s the thing the outdoor waiting area is over a faux swamp of sorts and super buggy at night. be ready to get bit up. don’t worry, the mosquitoes will follow you inside so you don’t get lonely. god bless the poor hostess that has to stand outside and get swarmed by them. all things aside, the service is excellent as always. they keep the drinks flowing (although this restaurant only offers beer and wine, no mixed drinks) and are so kind and courteous and work to communicate with us. the food……. was edible. the salad bar was warm-interesting assortment. the edamame was the best offer available. in general, the food isn’t that good. but can the bar really be that high for asian food in the caribbean? perhaps not. if we were to recommend a dish, it would probably be the duck (but not the rice it comes with) or the pancake rolls. the texture of sticky rice pudding was traumatic. if you have to get a dessert, get the cheesecake. honestly, you aren’t missing much if you can’t make it to Bamboo during your stay.

Lovely restaurant staff friendly and helpful (although English poor considering number of UK, USA and Canadians they get visiting) Found was very nice but menu difficult to follow. Needs some instruction at start re what you can order especially as staff struggle to explain. We enjoyed it and went again in the second week. one of the better restaurants on site

I am sitting here right now. This is what I got after ordering bibimbap 😂 it does not taste terrible. However the only thing in common with a bibimbap is that is contains rice??? And it's not even the right kind of rice. It is also missing any kind of protein (despite me specifically requesting an egg with it) so i cannot see how anyone would be full after eating this.
Sara — Google review
One of the best restaurants in the resort. We really liked the duck and shrimp noodles. Definitely recommend compared to other a la cartes.

Wonderful service from our waiter, Delvin, on our a anniversary trip. He is truly a top-notched, caring, and very attentive waiter. On our last meal on the island, he surprised us by having a special table prepared for us adorned with flowers! We were wholly surprised by his unexpected thoughtfulness. In all of my travels, he is simply one of the best waiters I've ever had. In general, the restaurant and its staff are very attentive and responsive to individual needs. My wife has a gluten allergy and the chief Winert came out prior to our meal to make sure all was safe. He spent a great deal of time explaining to us how his food was prepared which put us both at ease. All in all, a truly wonderful experience!
Kurt B — Google review
We were seated very quickly despite being late to our reservations. Started off right waitress was attentive and gave us water and our drinks promptly. But that was it then began the downfall. No one bothered to come take our order. The menu states Thai rice shrimp dish but when you get it it’s a mixture of seafood, and I only eat shrimp so you can imagine that dish was wasted. My husband got the 5 spice duck and it was fairly good. Their sushi buffet is good as well. Our dessert order was wrong. When the desserts came the first time two items were wrong and second time one item was wrong. At that point we gave up. Not sure if there is a staffing issue but it seems like the staff ignores their guest.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa is an upscale, all-inclusive beach resort located in the beautiful village of Uvero Alto on Punta Cana's Coconut Coast. The resort offers 750 spacious rooms with balconies or terraces, Jacuzzis, and modern amenities. With 11 gourmet restaurants, nine bars and lounges, a luxurious spa, and evening entertainment options like fashion shows and themed club nights, guests can indulge in Dominican Republic glitz and glamour.
We had a blast here. We we're very spoiled with Jaime our butler was the best I've ever had. I would 100% recommend you ask for Jaime. Alejandro checked us in and gave us a gift package with coupons for the spa services and money off for bottles of wine on the beach. He was very nice and professional. Felix and Luis in the preferred bar were great. Then at the pool we loved Jorddy, Juan and Edward at the preferred pool bar. Coral and Maria were great around the pool. I think Raphael the young man with a smile at the food truck area was my 2nd favorite he was just always so nice and always had a smile on his face. Emmanuel was great on the late shift in the preferred reception. He got me special pillows. Although my favorite the man the myth the legend was Francisco in the Sports bar. He is a tiny older man with a bald head who stole my heart. He was trying to teach me more Spanish and I never had an empty drink. He would bring me another one. I absolutely loved him. He mad my heart smile. Loved him. Alejandro I can say upgraded us to one of the nicest rooms we've ever been in. Look at my videos. The resort was the second nicest resort we've stayed at next to Secrets Moxche in Mexico. The trees, the beach, the pools. Everything. I can say if you want a medium steak ask for it as rare. That's the only thing I would change was the cooking of the steaks.

This was such an amazing experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Manager, Gregory always made sure we were enjoying our stay and asked if we needed anything. Lucie accommodated us at check in when we weren't totally satisfied with our room. Jacob took care of us several times at breakfast and dinner and knew exactly how we liked how drinks. Andrea was such a friendly soul during our time on the beach. Her smile was so infectious and she made us feel like she enjoyed taking care of us. Hands down, one of my best experiences in the Caribbean! My only cons were that our face clothes didn't get replenished daily. We always had to call for them. Some of our food would come out cold or luke warm, but they always corrected it. They had this amazing chicken sausage, but only served it once during our 5 day stay.
Jewel M — Google review
My wife and I are just finishing 6 days here and we had a fantastic time. We had an Xhale club swim up. The room was great easy access to the pool and the beach. Xhale club had great cocktails, Murphy is an incredible mixologist. The swim up was nice after a day at the beach. But the big difference from other places we have been is the level of service and the friendlyness of the staff. Glenny our butler was incredible, any thing we needed he could take care of it. Juan the restaurant manager did great extras for us just because we asked. Daniel and Tairon at the pool bar, Yenny at the beach to Marty the towel lady. Hilary at the Xhale restaurant check in. Just a great experience!

My husband and I just finished up our honeymoon at Breathless and we had a fantastic time! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We got the Xhale Club services and our “butler”, Jesus was so helpful and attentive. He helped us with all of our reservations and let us know about all of the daily activities at the resort. We enjoyed all of the restaurants and our waiter, Wilson was incredible. He greeted us almost every morning even when he wasn’t waiting on us. Truly spectacular staff!!
Cassidy M — Google review
This was the most wonderful and relaxing vacation! The service, attention to detail, food, access to any everything you could need to enjoy your stay and the impeccable cleanliness of this resort was an 11/10. The ambiance, music, modern/carribbean style architecture and overall design were superb. We couldn't have been more impressed with our stay at Breathless. From our arrival to when we left, the staff was outstanding. Paola, the concierge who took care of us upon arrival, was so kind, professional and helpful in providing us with all the help and information we needed for our stay. She even helped upgrade our room and book our spa appointments for us. Our room attendant, Claribel, went above our expectations....leaving us small surprises, kind notes, additional everything that we asked for and most importantly----kept our room perfect! Kudos to this amazing staff member. Jose, who was our server at the exhale grill yesterday afternoon, helped us not only book our dinner at the French restaurant but he also found us at our table and had the chef prepare us a special off-menu shrimp dish. Honest to goodness review! We just got back home today 11/4/25. The resort was easy to assess with pre made transportation. Upon arrival check in was made easy. The room was standard although I do Enjoy a room with drawers to make myself feel at home and unpack all of my things but the rooms do not have any. Customer service: There were employees like (Wilson) who were more than happy to offer top notch service but honestly as a whole. Customer service is not a priority at this resort. I’ve visited several breathless and secrets resorts and NEVER had so much lack of service. People will literally tell you no. I ordered room service once and got something I didn’t even order. Sat a the pool bars to ordered drinks and was completely ignored or give something I didn’t Ask for or simply told no. Entertainment: Sucked!! Not fully invested in providing actual entertainment. The food was just ok. Hamachi and the Steak grill were probably the only things I actually enjoyed. I won’t be going back that was an awful experience. And it was a large group of us not just me that felt this way.

We had an amazing stay at Breathless Punta Cana! The hotel was beautiful and well-maintained. I noticed the floor in our room wasn’t as clean as expected, but our concierge Emilio was incredible. He responded right away and made sure everything was spotless from that moment on. We felt safe and cared for the entire time, which made it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the entertainment was fun, lively, and full of great energy.

My family and I just finished a wonderful week at the breathless…. Everything was perfect! The show, the room was super clean, the happy hours, the animation team, the waitress & bartender at the pool & in the main bar especially Brianny who took good care of us all week and her colleagues Deborah & Yeliza. Can’t wait to come back for our next trip! Thank u Breathless!

Hard Rock Cafe is a rock 'n' roll-themed chain known for its high-energy vibe and serving American classics like burgers. The new state-of-the-art facility in Punta Cana features an updated look with the latest technology, paying homage to America's musical history from the 70s to today. With seating for up to 262 guests, private event space, free parking, outdoor terrace seating, and a live music stage, it offers a unique backdrop for performances.
This was my first time to a Hard Rock Cafe. I was in need of some "American food". Our resort food was not great. This place did not disappoint. Food was excellent and very much needed for our entire party. Was not busy at all even though it was dinner time on a Saturday. It was very clean and well maintained. Nothing "Hard Rock" going on at the time we were there though ??? If resort food or authentic Domincan food isn't your thing, this is an excellent option. Other food options and shops close by.

Amazing food as usual for a hard rock cafe along with exceptional staff. It looks like a lot of construction going on around the cafe, perhaps it had been downsized a lot? Bit of a shame. We will probably try the casino/hotel next time.
Dave “ — Google review
I've been there 3 times now and all three times we've ordered the same things my partner and I. He likes the twisted mac and cheese and I always go for the Jumbo Combo. We ordered the same things at the Hard Rock restaurant in Santo Domingo and we didn't quite like them. Punta Cana always delivers. We went for dinner recently, they had that conference inside, us patrons were only on the terrace and it was not pleasant at all. People were smoking left and right and I cannot stand smoking. I wish they had a different non-smoking area. Since they were very busy, our food took a lot longer than it should have but they were very apologetic and nice. We still enjoyed the food and it was great as expected. We tried their peach cobbler for dessert and it was exquisite.

For my first time in punta Cana I loved it and the people were nice. The people who work her are so helpful and caring. Sammy, Carlos, and Scooby was amazing I recommend them if you need any help especially Scooby near the pool.

Overall, we had an exceptional time here. A MUST GO TO! The food 😋, the service & vibe was Fantabulous! An up$cale night out. Like a Las Vegas energy, lights, casinos and 🎬 This one venue is a cure for the nighttime mall shop-a-holuc type! ~♡DivÂ

Food is overpriced. Tasted better food and drinks at many other restaurants in the area. Service is fair. Music is too loud, not a place to have family and friend conversations while eating. This is place is best as a dance club.

JWB Steakhouse is a top-notch dining spot that lives up to its name by offering a wide selection of meats, including rib eye and monkfish, as well as salmon for those who prefer fish. In addition to the meaty options, traditional appetizers like Caesar and Greek salads are also available. The restaurant's attentive and friendly staff members contribute to an exceptional dining experience, making it a favorite among visitors.
Had a fabulous dinner! You have to have dinner at least ONCE during your stay! Steak was perfect bug the short ribs were fall off the bone and I wish I had ordered them instead. The grilled octopus was so good! The bread… Truely this restaurant is an experience to be enjoyed!!

I went with a group that took up two large tables, and the service and food were excellent. We had a variety of entrées, and everyone was very impressed, including myself. This is definitely the best restaurant at the resort (and they were all very good). We all went to sleep very happy and full after dinner.

This is a top end Steakhouse, not just for a resort, but anywhere. The included choices are great and you can pay extra for premium selection. Everything is very well prepared and presented.
Nick T — Google review
Here's the thing. I don't eat steak. My hubby, however, does. There was a whole lotta hype about getting a reservation and our concierge failed miserably repeatedly to get us a reservation so THIS SUPER WOMAN who loves to make her man happy set an alarm for 7am to get her man a reservation. That said, you need to know - they only take reservations for that day on that day. There are plenty of dishes part of the all inclusive but they'll also sell you upgrades. I think that's cheeky, but that's just me. By way of background we took our family six to the Margaritaville JWB Steakhouse in Nassau and it rocked so we had big expectations. I ordered the chicken and mashed potatoes because I can and I sure am glad I did. Rotisserie chicken ... Mmmhmm... so good. It was HUGE!! I shared some with my husband because there was more than enough. He loved it too. When asked about his steak - It was meh.
April C — Google review
Wonderful steak dinner! The atmosphere is a little upscale and the service was impeccable. Santiago recommended the octopus appetizer and it was amazing. It was tender, had a beautiful chimichurri on it. We would definitely eat it again. He also recommended the chocolate fondant cake with ice cream--GET THIS! The rum ice cream is so light, like nothing I have ever had before. We were very happy with our evening.
Mary C — Google review
We dined at JWB on one of our last nights at Margaritaville we had reservations at 7 and we were seated within minutes of arriving. The wait staff were incredible, Sandy, Carlo, and Franklin waited on us. They did an immaculate job making sure that we were well taken care of, no glasses went empty, and no one left unfulfilled. If you are attending Margaritaville I highly recommend you dine here and be served by those three incredible men!
Micah B — Google review
Great food, wine and overall service and experience was fantastic. I ordered a medium New York cut steak and it was delicious. My husband is allergic to shellfish and they asked about his allergy a few times to ensure his food was correct which was comforting. Thank you to Juan Luis (our server) and Beatriz (at the front desk) for making our experience so great!
Amy T — Google review
This is advertised as the High End Steakhouse at Margaritaville, requiring reservations every day but while we were here we dined twice at this restaurant and it was never at capacity which means there's no real need for reservations. Service was very slow and not very attentive. Food was not 5 star. The temperatures of our steaks were not correct. Portions for all the sides are tiny and meant for a kids meal. The skirt steak was good along with the Onion Soup. Out of all restaurants at Margaritaville this is one of the only ones I'd recommend but lower your expectations because this is not a 5 Star Restaurant.

Buffet restaurant
Chopin Restaurant offers a delightful buffet experience that many guests find hard to resist, especially for breakfast. While the selection may not be vast, the quality of dishes is commendable. Guests can indulge in made-to-order crepes and omelets, alongside fresh juices, fruits, pastries, and hot meals that are all prepared with care. The ambiance is serene and spacious, allowing diners to enjoy their meal in a private nook while observing local wildlife.
We enjoyed this buffet a lot! There's a lot of wildlife to see and there's so much seating to where you can find a nice private quiet area to relax in with your breakfast. You can get your own omelet made if you dont want the buffet food, however, the buffet food was all fresh and actually tasted great. They had fresh squeezed juices, fresh fruit, pastries, and hot food. The staff comes around offering coffee and water too. We would definitely come back to this buffet!

Reasonable variety and quality of food. Friendly staff. Always able to get a table! In the evening, a rowboat with someone playing a piano, slips along.

Perfectly fine when most other restaurants are fully booked. Airy and elegant, the buffet area is big enough (and air conditioned).

The Pier Buffet is a culinary gem that captures the essence of today's global cuisine, offering an impressive array of dishes in a vibrant buffet setting. Drawing inspiration from the bustling New York eatery and deli scene, this dining experience showcases specialty corners that highlight locally sourced, fresh ingredients. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, The Pier Buffet caters to all tastes with its extensive menu—ensuring there's something delightful for everyone.
This is the best option for breakfast and lunch. Plenty of super fresh fruits, vegetables, juices and smoothies. Custom made omelets were delicious and worth the long wait lines. The restaurant has a unique buffet style that is completely served to you from behind glass. All food areas are kept immaculate and fully stocked. The servers go out of their way to fulfill any specific requests.

Absolutely amazing experience! The best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. So many delicious dishes, fruits, and cheeses. The guy who made the Eggs Benedict is the best!

An absolute delight. The most amazing variety of foods for breakfast and lunch and they keep it coming. Staff is all very friendly and will tell you in detail about each food item. I enjoyed and appreciated getting served even though it was a buffet to ensure sanitation and food safety precautions were in place. Fresh fruits, juices and numerous homemade treats were available and enjoyed throughout the week! Can’t wait to go back
Steve G — Google review
The restaurant serves buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner to Hyatt guests. Inside the restaurant, there are several booths of foods, drinks for guests to select. We only stopped by for breakfast. We like the fresh tropical fruit section with mangos, guava, passion fruit, pineapple, papaya. There is made-to-order smoothies, juices. The fried banana, in Dominican section, is also tasty.
Qlv A — Google review
A really wide variety of options, with something for everyone. You could likely eat here for a whole week without repeating your meals. We loved that you could eat really healthy or just indulge on all the carbs and sugar. That said, as with any buffet, we'd recommend to stick to options that are made to order, as the other options tend to get stale. Overall, a really good option for non club level guests and/or if the line is too long at all the other places. This buffet has the misfortune of the competing with all the other amazing restaurants at the resort, which is why it's hard to rank it 5 stars if the other restaurants are 5s.
Dani H — Google review
The Pier transcended any thought of buffet food I had ever imagined. Most foods are cooked fresh for you as you ask for them. The taste of every dish was an experience. The hashbrowns tasted like freshly cut and cooked potatoes. The omelets were fluffy. These pictures are just a bit of the experience. It's rare to see a buffet give you so many options and keep the quality high.

Nestled conveniently between the beach and pool, El Trapiche buffet at the Grand Bavaro Princess resort is a bustling spot, especially during lunchtime. This charming breakfast buffet offers a delightful start to your day with stunning ocean views. While it transforms into El Gaucho steakhouse in the evening, its morning and lunch offerings are what draw guests in.
Not the biggest buffet in the resort but definitely great enough of a selection, very friendly service and people.
Alex B — Google review
Food is excellent, service could be much better. Normally go here for breakfast and lunch while staying at resort. Know it’s high season, but if you go during normal lunch hours expect long waiting time on lines.
Paulo C — Google review
I mean, what's better than starting your day with breakfast on the beach? El Trapiche is the breakfast buffet located on the beach at the Grand Bavaro Princess resort. They also have a lunch buffet, and then it turns into El Gaucho steakhouse at night. My husband and I are early risers so we are usually there by 7:15 every morning. A big shout out to Beras for always taking care of us, as well as the rest of the staff. Polite, friendly, never without water or coffee and empty plates were cleared quickly. My kids (who are teens and wake up later) were also well taken care of by Beras as well as Joseph. This buffet is smaller than the one near the lobby but definitely quieter until 9ish. They had all the staples - French toast, waffles, pancakes, eggs, different varieties of bread and mini pastries. Omelettes and bacon are also available at the grill. The bacon is thick and good quality - as a Quebecer, we don't get served that kind of bacon for breakfast back home. The juice served is really good too, I really liked the fresh watermelon and cantaloupe juice. Overall a big hit during our stay at the resort. We're back home now and miss being treated like royalty to start off the day :)
Lin S — Google review
Good selection of food every day, service can definitely be better, really depends who is working that day (as with all the restaurants here really), but the food makes up for everything :) Would recommend sitting outside if you want better service. Provides a great view on the beach while enjoying your food and drinks.

Restaurant Bazaar American Grill is the perfect spot for sports enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This vibrant American-style sports and snack bar offers a delightful buffet filled with an array of snacks and fast food options to satisfy your cravings. With two impressive 60-inch LED TVs, you can catch all the action from major sporting events like hockey, F1, tennis, and football while enjoying your meal in a lively atmosphere.
20 minutes waiting for a drink and all the cocktails are made of the worst possible alcoholic drinks. They cant even make a proper gin tonic or a whiskey and coke. The food is terrible, no flavour, no spice, no salt. Salt and pepper not even on the table. Avoid the place
