Perfect view to see Shwedagon Pagoda in the night. It is a good place for chilling with your friends on the rooftop. Music is very good. Beer and food are acceptable but sometimes, some items in menu are not served. Price is reasonable. We paid 70,000kyats for more ten cups of beer and 6 dishes. Spacious space, no noise. Parking is not available - you have to park on the street.

It's one of the few bars that plays slow and soft beat music. Mostly they play Westlife (Band) songs and other slow beat pop songs. So you can have a peaceful conversation with anyone you go with. Only give three stars because it has downsides. One of the things is it has no parking space. So you have to find an unsafe place to drop your car. Another bad thing is that the elevator is not usable. Since it is a rooftop bar, you can have some good scenery. You can see the Shwe Dagon pagoda clearly but another downside is that there is also a building beside which is higher and it makes you unable to watch the sunset from the bar. When talking about food and beverages, it's ok to eat. The price of the drinks ranges from $4-7. Services are good and I'll give 4 out of 5.

One of the three well known sky bars located in and around the Shwedagon Pagoda, Vista stands true to its name and certainly offers the most iconic view of the Pagoda. Vista is located about 4 floors up from its street side entrance and consists of 2 terraces, one such terrace offers that highly compelling view of the Shwedagon. During the dry season this terrace is open air (during rainy season it is enclosed by a canopy) and consists of three rows of seats and tables across. The terrace is serviced by two bars, one at either end. Modern commercial music like Demi Lovato was playing but the volume was thankfully not over powering. However, there were no prices on the menu, I recommend asking for the prices before committing to a purchase. Tiger draft was MMK 1,500. Also, since the signature of Vista is its view of the Pagoda, it was annoying that there were many staff members who continuously blocked the view either by walking around without purpose or by just standing and hence blocking the view of the Pagoda. All in all, certainly a place to check out for some nice night time photos of the Shwedagon Pagoda while enjoying a nice cold beer. However, there is very little alternative views (like a downtown skyline) to see from Vista. In my experience, a beer or two was sufficient before moving on.

Probably the best roof top bar view of Shwedagon in Yangon... Decent food and drinks at fair prices. Music needs improvement to lift the vibe but food and drinks are ok. Walk up stairs are a bit of a hassle Vs the new Freesia rooftop bar next door which has an elevator (but less impressive view). But overall a nice chill place to hang out and bring visitors wanting a nice nighttime view.

One of good bar in Yanggon with the view of Shwedagon Pagoda at the night time. Good to hangout with the friends after office of weekend. There are some improvements required such as toilet not clean and no light when I'm there and also bar is to dark, it hard to see the food or menu so have to use LED light from mobile phone.

Love the scenery which can view the night of Shwe Dagon Pagoda but is too dark to enjoy ur meal. The meal in the menu not available sometimes. Hope to improve the some desk light or candle.

A little bit rundown but view is ok. Maybe better without the low roof to keep out the rain. Happy hour with buy one get one is a plus.

Amazing local bar. Beer is as cheap as 2000 MMK. Try the bang bang chicken and pork belly. Worth it. The staff and service is very prompt. Very courteous to foreigners as well. Must try place.

Nice small bar with 2 floors. It is air conditioned and they have a nice selection of food at reasonable prices. Service was good and the drink prices are at the lower end for 19th Street. I think because they are beyond where all the street food vendors are they don't get as much foot traffic as they should.

I love the environment there. The price are reasonable and affordable but we gotta wait a lot for the food that we orderwd. It takes time to get the food order. The drink are like okay. And some drinks are good. Pineapple beer is my favorite drink at Kosan Bar.

Kosan Bar. Dirt cheap bar with quality matching the price. Seeing this place be jam packed, this is probably the way to do business here.

Most Popular Bar in Yangon. Price is fair and a lot of Appetizers menu. I like really the Soup tastes like sour and spicy just little salty if you don't like too much spicy tell the waiter and then it's will be OK. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you want to have some Appetizers from outside It's OK. I think Only the Appetizers but No Beer No Whiskey from outside. Because there's around a lot of street food. Clean Toilet. Disco light. Nice Music. Good Location. But at the weekend or sometime too many peoples it's not possible get table if you want to go there call first phone number ask the table. Enjoy!

Food: Nan, grilled chicken and chicken curry are nice, but we were really disappointing by the simple dish as Dal. It is more like a yellow bean soip with burning smell. Will go an try next time again seeing the improvement.

Had a meeting with 15 friends having lunch. Indian style foods are delicious and crispy. Rooms are private, spacious and cool.

Tasty sweet and sour fish when I went and bought there. Pork meat from fried sweet flat noodles was a bit tough. Papaya salad was not spicy but tasty. People are friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Luckily it's opened while majority of the restaurants are closed.

Very tasty dishes and a good service. Although bring some time as you will have to wait quite a while for your food. The prices are a bit high but worth it. Only the playlist of the restaurant could get some new songs, as the five same songs play again and again the whole day.

Must go place for noodle lovers. Love the over looking view of busy road. The service is great and the freshly make noodle is very delicious. Seeing chef making noodles in the kitchen is the best part while enjoying your noodle made by him.Love it. I wanna try all food here.

They are still managing their food quality and service well. However their price has spiked (understandable given the higher cost of operation these days). Recommended if you want some good authentic Cantonese food.

So poor management, wrongly transferred money 60 thousands to 6 lak but told me to wait for a week to get back my money 😡😡. When I go ask my money back, they never ask me to sit or ask me to wait politely instead just told me that they have done the process and It will take a week according to their procedure. Additionally, the mushroom dish we ate, was not really fresh too.

A good Chinese Restaurant in Yangon. It is always full so make sure to have reservation. They have private rooms upstairs. Their dim sum is good. Our favorite is the fish skin with salted egg. Because there are many customers, the table cloth is sometimes not clean. Service is relatively fast

Good experience at Canton Paradise to enjoy an essence of Hong Kong. It was a bit of task to make the waiter understand our vegetarian requirement but a manager came to our rescue. They have a different menu before 3 pm and a different one for post 3 pm. The before 3 pm one has dim sums 😊😊 !! Though enjoyed our dinner experience, it will be good to go back and try the before 3 pm experience. The wild mushroom noodles and crispy fried tofu was excellent. The fried Kai lan with garlic was decent. The chilled cucumber became better after the flavours of the sauce soaked in. The disappointment was Shimeji fried mushrooms. It looked extra fried and was very oily. However, on explaining this, the manager took the dish back and removed it from our bill. Parking wise the compound has good parking space but once RedDot Brewhouse opens, it could get a bit crowded here.

Nice place to have dimsum for breakfast. I had been there twice, for breakfast and for lunch. Dimsum tasted quite decent although there are not much wide variety of choices. The car parking lot is spacious and service is nice. Will go again for sure.

The essence is missing. For a place that claims to have the essence of Hong Kong for a sign, the food is surprisingly poor. A lot of MSG used and the dim sum portions run pretty small. Shrimp cheung fun Skin was too thin and rolls too small. Barely any shrimps inside. Pork Siu mai VERY salty. So salted you needed to take big gulps of jasmine tea to wash it down. Har gow Wrapper fell apart when you touched it with the chopsticks. It shouldn't be like that. Sticky rice with chicken wrapped in Banana leaf Portion too small and they used black pepper in the sauce. Too salty. The service with trainees was pretty bad too. They don't understand English and bring you the wrong things when you ask. This place is fine if you've never had good dim sum before but a terrible mimicking of HK dim sum cuisine.

This place is spacious, and the servers were attentive. The quesadillas barely had any filling. The burger was just okay.

Was quiet when I went in, there was something being filmed upstairs. Decided to prop door open for half an hour whilst they removed filming equipment so got eaten alive by mossies. Got a few beers on tap and bottle available. Ate the burger which was small but tasty.

Staff were great with service (always smiling and ready to serve stars only for them) BUT the food was not so great (whole western items on the menu wasn’t available to order and the Asian food that was ordered was presented well but tasted awful, a street vendor food would have tasted better) and so many mosquitos made the atmosphere an experience so bad.

Nicely decorated and spacious. The spiral staircase in the center makes the space look much more interesting. The music on the night we stopped by was a bit too loud. Love the high ceiling on the upper floor.

Good Vibes. I visited there at the time of FIFA world cup final match day. Full with reserved and I didn't get the table infront of the projector. But after 9:30, luckly got the table of near the projector it was good and nice to see the football match. The building design is vintage and i think it is a long age old building And the lighting colour are yellow and it is not so bridge and I prefer it very much. Food are delicious and u can get the fries with many flavours.I tasted 2 kind of Cocktail Malibu and Mojito. Malibu is very soft like a juice so I much prefer Mojito. ***U can smoke inside the bar.*** For price, it will a little cost more than normal if u drink a lot 😉. 50th Street Bar is one of the longer running establishments in the Yangon bar market and, as the name implies, is located on the lower part of 50th Street. It is a hybrid restaurant / bar arrangement stylised as a sports bar where they air the Premier League and sometimes tennis. It is a popular place among expats and has a casual vibe to it. 50th Street bar is an obvious first choice for meeting friends or bringing a date. The bar is located in an old colonial building and is spread across two floors which is connected by a winding stairs in the middle. I feel perhaps that the bar could be better served if it extended seating to an outdoor terrace or the balcony (which is inaccessible). The staff here are, for the most part, friendly and enthusiastic and Wi-Fi is available on request. The Wi-Fi is pretty decent. The menu is diverse and offers anything from Pizza (margarita recommended) to the famed 50th Street Nachos. The usual Yangon beer is on offer too as well as some cocktails. On Thursday nights a table quiz is held on the upper floor and gives the bar a fun vibe. Additionally, patrons could play darts or pool on the ground floor of the bar. The music is 90s / early 00s style but is re-played. The interior is nice and generally open with more intimate settings for couples or groups near the pillars. As a parting thought - 50th Street is one of the more landmark bars in Yangon but loses its flare after an hour or two. Due to the dispersed seating arrangements its not the kind of place where you will meet strangers. Although it is a great place for arranging dates / meeting with your friends, or otherwise, just a charming place with a lot of character; to grab a beer, eat some tasty some nachos and to listen to one hit wonders after a long week.

Really nice tea shop in Yangon, located near Yangon Airport. They serve light food and Burmese breakfast items like Chinese dumplings, tea, paratha, nan pyar, and more. I recommend trying the pork steam buns, bean paratha, and samosas. The place is a bit noisy, and parking can be challenging. The shop’s parking area accommodates about 8 or 9 vehicles, but there is additional parking available in front of the shop and along the road.

Trying out another local dimsum shop (local kopitiam) which offer awesome curry & important menu are in English.. The staff service are great and friendly but English can be improve more.. The food serving are very fast.. I had order the mutton curry set which serve with pea rice which famous among the local.. Mutton are tender and spices are yummy-licious... 😋😋😋

If you go for dine in after 7am, you gonna spend so much time looking for car park and table to dine. I had to do take out usually and this time around I had chicken and mutton ပူတီ. Taste is good but its just that crowd that makes not wanna dine in.

Lucky Seven Tea Shop (9 Miles) is one of the famous Tea Shop Chains in Yangon. They have other branches in some other townships as well. Foods are nice and delicious with fair price. There are some Vegetarian options available as well. Staffs are super active and very welcoming to the visitors. There are also enough parking spaces available almost all the time because of the street in front of the shop and parking spaces available inside the compound and behind the shop. The shop is opening the whole day until late afternoon. It is not only famous because of their food, fair price but also no other big competition or choice around that area.

Golden Duck Restaurant. Duck is really golden with fragrant, juicy and tender but with great texture. Sauces were natural and good. Pork was falling apart tender, but still with flavor, and cooked in a slightjy soy sauce sharp broth but the went well with the good amount of fat from the pork. Fish head soup had natural flavors although it had some sharp salty and sour edges which actually was a good match with quail eggs.

It's an old school restaurant that has been around for many years. It mainly sells roasted duck, but other dishes are also good. It often offers takeaway. You have to wait for the parcel with a token.

Golden Duck is the one of the famous restaurant in the MYANMAR, it locate the whole country. Fair price and good food and drink. But, The Kan Taw Mingalar Golden Duck is the best service and tastes of each others in their restaurant. And it area are together with the best paly ground in Yangon, " Happy World" and Garden.

My friend recommended me this restaurant for their signature duck . Most of the people come here for their roasted duck. Great service with family style ambience. Price is reasonable and menu comes with 3 different languages for tourist. If you visit Yangon , definitely don't miss out this great restaurant.

Place is crowded fully during breakfast time (9-10 AM) as it is small two story food center. I feel like Dim Sum here are not fresh as other Oriental House Restaurants. Maybe it is franchised since shop name is also other one. Service is not much good as well.

I have been a big fan of this place for more than ten years now. This place is not what it used to be anymore. The old oriental had great wait staff with great tasting food. Now, it is a shell of what it used to be. The tables are disgusting, the food is old and stale. The following picture is the food i was served which i refused to touch. They sold us day old food reheated. This is unbeliveably sad to look at.

Koji coffee beans are really great. I believe they are from Ywa Ngan a place in Shan state. Dim sum in the early morning is also great at the dim sum side. Recommend seaweed, salted egg and steamed pork.

One of the more popular dim sum houses in Yangon. A proper breakfast place. Clean and comfortable. Attentive waiters and waitresses. Good customer service. Moderate prices. Usually crowded in the mornings especially in weekends. Limited car parking space.

It is now changed to His.tori But still can get the authentic Oriental House dim-sum in the morning and the shop re open again in the evening 4:30 to serve Korean BBQ and Dim Sum as well! So it's the greatest combo ever ! I would give 4 out of 5 stars in general

Well, I could say it was my mistake to visit on their second day of reopening, haha!!! They were totally short-staffed, and it took at least 45 minutes to over an hour for the food to arrive. The dishes weren’t worth the wait—just mediocre. The cocktails tasted good, and the staff were nice, but I expected a lot more from this place.
