Friendly Vibes & Great Spot in Phu Quoc! Ordered some refreshing coconut ice cream, and classic iced Vietnamese coffee. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and create a really nice atmosphere. It’s also a great spot to sit, unwind, and people-watch near the waterfront. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

great place for chilling with your coffee and a book. they also have nice ice cream with a great view. but local people smoke a lot, you might have to breathe their smoke because it is open air cafe. If no smoking people, it is the amazing place I can chill here for all day long.

Don’t usually like sweet things but when in Vietnam… this coconut coffee shake was absolutely delicious. I asked for less sweet so I think it was just right. Service is also great. I needed to charge my phone. The server found me a spot next to outlet but while I was going there, a new customer walked in and went straight to it. We both chuckled. But the server was very attentive and found me another available seat next to outlet.

Very good spot in the city center of the island. The vibes on the morning is so nice. You should sit outside and enjoy the light sun and sea breeze on the morning. The shop serves nice food and good drinks as well.

Freshly made & great looking Iced Fruit Tea. Terrace seating is great to watch the harbour. Inside depends on taste, personally I am not a big fan of the black leather couches. Ca Phe Muoi was missing saltiness.

Searched for good English breakfast on the island and came across Buddy Ice Cream , they have a good selection of menu to choose from both local and western options. There was free WiFi and bathrooms available. Food

I tried the 'Winston choice' with bourbon mustard sauce. OMG, it's sensational as has everything: mushrooms, onions, bacon, cheese. All burgers come with lettuce, tomato and onion. Peppercorns coating on burger lovely kick, with bourbon sauce, the ingredients all come togetherness to explode in your mouth. Fries were good, too. Enjoyed a chilled tap rooster Blone draft beer. Well worth the 5-minute walk from the main shop area, if need a burger hit.

Very much enjoyed the Winston's Choice burger and chilli cheese fries. The burger was nicely meaty with a good char and the peppercorn crust gave it good seasoning. The bacon added salt and I added blue cheese sauce with gave a nice funky sour tang. They make their own buns in house which are light and nicely toasted. The home style fries were loaded with toppings which was a meal in itself. Superb meal.

A very nice and welcoming family works or owns this place. The food was delicious, especially the burger! 👌😍 I especially remember the owner's little boy. He's 2.5 years old, his name is Sin. He's a very handsome, sweet, and cheerful child. 🥹 My wife and I had a great time playing with him, he really lifted up our mood. 😅

Coal grilled, pink burgers, to perfection. Absolutely the best burger I've had in south east Asia. Great draft beers. Vintage backstreet boys on the stereo. What more could a man ever wish for.

Couple of the best burgers I’ve ever had, “the Best Bacon Burger Ever“ & “the Mexican” which I had with a peppercorn crusted beef patty. Highly recommend the burgers and the fries are also very good, nice and golden crispy edges done just right. The reason I marked down the atmosphere is a few of the tables are a bit small and the chairs are wooden, not comfortable and it’s a covered outdoor space, which can be a bit too warm. Otherwise, the food was wonderful.

At best this place is just average yet very expensive on all their menu items. Another overpriced restaurant in Phu Quoc gouging at the transient tourist trade. On a positive note, the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls are flavoursome and delicious, though let down by the minuscule size and quantity - 5 tiny pieces for 89k. I also tried their Best Bacon Burger Ever which was a big disappointment and daresay a false claim with the name. The burger only contains 2x small pieces of Bacon and although the burger patty maybe made with 50% Bacon the taste is far from Bacon flavoured (just tasted the same as a normal patty). The burger will set you back 175k and doesn't even come with fries (they're extra at 40k for a tiny 150gm or 75k for 300gm). To enhance my burger I added extra cheese (which wasn't even melted properly) and sauteed mushrooms/onions. The mushrooms weren't even warm and tasted really bland and onions were only just cooked - they both certainly didn't seem to be sauteed at all. When they asked how my burger was I mentioned the fault with the mushrooms being a bit cold, and they were indifferent to my comment....as if they didn't really care. Just a smile was offered??? Overall the burger was a big disappointment and a very messy experience as it fell apart about halfway through. I found the service to be a bit overbearing and felt rushed to order something too. Though they did come across friendly and were OK with my dog coming inside. However their young child harassed her with his ride on toy adding to my less than relaxing experience). A small upside is that you can pay the bill with a credit card but this will incur a 2% fee. Being expensive and from my experience here, I wouldn't recommend eating here. I certainly won't be returning during my 30 scheduled days on the island. I wish I could add photos but Google Maps in their ludicrous, automated decision making block all my new reviews from the public when I review a place or business and add photos....where's the incentive to keep posting detailed reviews when all it does is create a major frustration.

Lovely Restaurant with Character Last night we visited this lovely restaurant for dinner and loved the experience. While the name and website suggest it's all burgers and beer, there is much more. We had great cocktails and a serve of very tasty crumbed chicken balls, coated in buffalo sauce with a blue cheese dipping sauce -amazing!! If you are into burgers and have a massive appetite, then this place is your heaven! Match them up with some local craft beers! The restaurant is now owned by a lovely Vietnamese lady who also acts as the bartender (and does a fantastic job!). She is assisted by family members who are extremely attentive to your every need. They even called us a taxi because it was raining!!! A great venue for a sumptuous lay back lunch or dinner. Highly recommended. Thanks from Roy & Julie

I began my day in Phu Quoc with breakfast at The Spice House—what a breath of fresh air. Tucked inside the serene Cassia Cottage resort, it feels peaceful even when things are busy. The open-air setup lets in soft sea breezes, palm tree shadows, and golden light—just right for a slow morning. The menu is a delight for those wanting something healthful without sacrificing flavor. Their fresh garden rolls filled with crisp herbs, mint, fragrant coriander and a light dipping sauce were perfect: bright, clean, and not heavy. I also tried one of their smoothie bowls—rich with tropical fruit, a sprinkle of seeds, and cooling coconut milk. It was nourishing in the way that fills you up gently, not with that overly sweet punch that leaves you craving something else. What impressed me the most was how they balance local Vietnamese produce (think herbs, fresh seafood, spices) with mindful cooking practise: no MSG, no undesirable additives, real ingredients. Service was kind and attentive—staff asked about dietary preferences without me having to start the conversation, a superb plus for staff Quoc!!! Portion sizes were generous (but not wasteful), so I felt very good leaving the table. Ambience and a view of the beach in the distance added to the calm—just what you want if you’re focused on wellness and travel. If I come back to Phu Quoc, The Spice House will be one of my first stops for breakfast again. Highly recommended for anyone wanting that healthy, feel-good start to their day.

Amazing ambiance with great food. They have a vegetarian menu which was perfect for us. Our kids enjoyed the meals as well. If you are in Phu Quoc, this should be a must visit place for you.

I stayed at Cassia Cottage resort for a few weeks (that’s another 5 star review!) The variety of the menu, from east to west, and the ability to handle such a wide palette without losing it is impressive. The food is wholesome with a genuine elegance, deliciously tasty and healthy - not by third party anonymous organic certificate labels but by best effort, genuine intention and some in-house farming. I loved this restaurant so much, and highly unusual to me, I found no drive to explore every other top restaurant in the area as I always do when coming to a new place. I did check a few and there are nice ones but my favourite remained the hotel spice restaurant. Cassia became like that girlfriend who's such a joy to be with you lose interest in all the others - a first for me in hotels! That said, I did love to sneak down on a 5 minute beach walk south to La Veranda for a little serene lunch when the weather invited. The staff are fantastic. They got a great thing going and a wonderful attitude to each other and the guests. Many clearly feel safe enough to be themselves (getting rare these days!) which translates well into the homey and casual ambience. Its lovely to see some staff are proud of the place as well. It really is a worthy place deserving of a proud staff. During my weeks here I didn’t have a single bad or even slightly “off” experience with any of them. Its easy to have every staff on an up-note first 6 months of a business startup, so with 25 years going, Cassias achievement in good vibes and can-do attitude is stellar - as well as extraordinary unusual. Im not naive saying this - of course there’s the normal human frictions and drama between the lines, but thats unavoidable being human now, and the way they keep it together is what is unusual and impressive. It all ends up in a harmonic wonderful balance. Real. Honest. Alive! And the manager, Luisa, nailing the balance of professional and casual with all sophisticated brilliance one can ask for. It was such a beautiful encounter I consider Luisa a friend for life. Thank you all for a wonderful stay and a sense of home in paradise !

The Spice House is part of Cassia Cottage resort and is some of the best food I’ve had. So fresh and delicious. In particular the ceviche and squid and pomelo salad. The service is very attentive and kind. Would definitely recommend.

Don't miss this place if you are in Phu Quoc. Outstanding food & service, located in beautiful surroundings overlooking a pristine pool, palm trees and the beach. The menu is incredible, this is higher end food and on another level to what you'll get in the local cheap tourist places on the main road, but also so reasonably priced. Absolutely delicious food and presented so beautifully. Complimentary home made bread and our waitress explained that all of the food is made from scratch using no sugar or MSG, and the presentation was visually stunning. The best food we've had in Vietnam. Also, a big shout out to our waitress Huyen who served us on both occasions that we visited, she was fantastic. So sweet and attentive and nothing was too much trouble, she went above & beyond to make both our visits perfect. Thank you Hguyen and all the amazing staff there. We'll be booking for a 3rd visit before we leave Phi Quoc in a few days. Absolutely superb, don't miss out on this place!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The food was excellent, always fresh, and offered plenty of variety, so we enjoyed every meal. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, which made us feel truly welcome. The hotel garden is beautiful—carefully maintained, full of greenery, and perfect for relaxation. I would also like to give special thanks to Ms. Nha for her care, helpfulness, and professional attitude. She made our stay even more pleasant. We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to return.

I had a really great experience at Xin Chao Seafood Restaurant. I visited twice during my trip, each time sitting in a different area. If you want the most romantic sea view, I recommend sitting on the ground floor. The portions are generous, prices are quite reasonable, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. I even got a complimentary appetizer, which was a nice touch. One thing to note: the prices on the menu don’t include VAT, but the staff made sure to inform us clearly before ordering. Also, if you’d like your dishes to be served one after another instead of all at once, just let them know. Overall, I really enjoyed dining here and will definitely come back on my next trip to Phu Quoc.

Really good fresh seafood. They have live tanks and you order what you want and they’ll bring you the bucket full of your live order to check which was cool. Everything was great, especially the mud crab in green pepper sauce. Was on the expensive side though. For two people we went overboard and got mantis shrimp, abalone, mud crab, snails and herring salad and drinks it cost just over 2 million đồng. Worth it though and we definitely ordered too much

You could really taste the freshness of the seafood, which is exactly what you want when eating by the ocean. The cobia was another standout. It had a beautiful texture and a clean, rich taste that really showcased how good Vietnamese seafood can be. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right — simple, so the natural flavor could shine. We didn’t just stick to seafood, though — the chicken was also excellent. Moist, flavorful, and well-seasoned, it balanced out the meal perfectly and showed that the kitchen handles more than just seafood exceptionally well. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the setting was relaxing, with a nice local feel and a view that really reminds you you’re on an island. Everything felt fresh, from the ingredients to the atmosphere. Overall, Xin Chào Seafood is the kind of place that makes you want to come back before you’ve even finished your meal. If you’re in Phú Quốc and want truly fresh seafood (and great chicken too), this is absolutely a must-visit.

This is the place for live seafood in Phu Quoc. Had the medium lobster steamed, bowl clams which were kind of chewy and not to my liking, and pineapple fried rice with blue crab leg. Food delivery was fast and good service crew.

The place is a delightful one, the food is tasty and pretty 😍 the stuff is very kind, and friendly. We loved it and we are coming back again. It's our first experience and seems like we will be coming here for the whole stay.

This is a cheap eat no frill restaurant at a terrace shop. I don’t expect atmosphere or fancy service. Service is fast and honest. They don’t speak English but will give u an English menu. The Bun Huey and spring roll vermicelli are fresh and good flavour. We love the Bun Mi (VND20k) so much we came back the next day for lunch.

While walking in the night market I discovered this local little vegan place. Chay. Very honest price. Very cheap for Phu Quoc. I had soup for 30k. Many choices and also vegan Banh Mi that I will probably try tomorrow ;) plus the usual free tea

Somebody feels that they were scammed, but the final price depends on the amount of food you took and maybe different dishes have different costs, didn't you think? I was given a plate of rice or you can make it yourself, I put what I wanted and how much I wanted, I was told it would cost 40k. I was satisfied with it.

Very fortunate to stumble onto this local pho place. Counter was friendly and showed us English menu, food was easy to order as there are only 4 types of pho bowls. Exceptionally delicious with a sauce counter where you mixed up your desired ingredients and add to your phonat your own liking. We had a fabulous meal and left happy and full.

The fun part is customizing your own sauce — if you like it salty, add more salt; if you prefer it sweet, go for extra sugar; if you want it spicy, load it with chili; or even add a touch of MSG for that extra kick. You can also choose from different toppings: shrimp, fish balls, beef, or squid — all fresh and tasty, pairing perfectly with the noodles and soup. And if you order a glass of sugarcane juice on the side, it’s the perfect match. Ordering is straightforward: place your order at the counter, then take a seat and mix up your sauce while waiting. Easy, casual, and delicious — definitely a spot worth coming back to.

Kien Xay seems to be the oldest bún quậy brand in Phu Quoc. Their first branch, located in a fishing village alley, dates back to the 1990s and used to be the only place where locals could enjoy this dish. The word “quậy” in bún quậy means “stir,” which describes the way the fresh rice vermicelli noodles are made AFTER the kitchen receives an order. Since the noodles are made from rice flour and are very sticky, the chef repeatedly “stirs” them with chopsticks in boiling water until the noodles are cooked through without clumping together. Because the fresh noodles are made to order, the restaurant cannot guarantee how long service will take; sometimes, you might have to wait 20-25 minutes if the restaurant is crowded. First, you place your order at the counter and pay. Then, you go to prepare your dipping sauce yourself. The bún quậy dipping sauce is a mix of sugar, salt, MSG, ground fresh chili, and kumquat juice. You mix the sauce yourself according to your desired ratio, or you can take the pre-mixed salt + sugar + MSG that the restaurant provides and just add the kumquat juice and chili. A characteristic of bún quậy broth is that it is very bland; they seem to add nothing more than the natural subtle sweetness of the various seafood bones used to simmer the stock. Therefore, the dipping sauce you mix above is not only used for dipping the toppings but also for seasoning the broth itself to your personal taste. If you purchase drinks, you also go to the refrigerator to get them yourself. After that, choose a table and wait for the staff to call your name when your bún is ready. Once again, you will go back to the service counter, take a plastic tray, and bring the bowl of bún back to your table yourself. It might sound complicated, but it’s a fun DIY experience, and the reward is exceptionally fresh and delicious food. You must try it at least once when you visit Phu Quoc: you can't miss this dish!

To be honest, I don't understand at all why the restaurant has so many reviews and such a popular place. You might not have to draw a conclusion from one dish, but I would say that in Vietnam there are hundreds of places where I liked the first time. Noodles tasted like nothing, and cutlets was in the soup tasted more like convenience foods. The squid, though not peeled, tasted better than another filling. In general, the atmosphere there is pleasant, people are polite and you can pay by card. The portion is large.

The environment vibe is good. After we ordered and the staff noticed that we are first time visit and helped us to prepare the condiment while waiting our noodle to be served. Highly recommend!

It's vermicelli with papaya, soyascheuten, coconut milk, and fish. It's a fresh and light dish for this hot weather. The combination of flavors is perfectly balanced. This dish started more than 30 years ago. A real original place that starts with. For just 30.000 dong! Everyone who are in this island should try this. You can rarely find this meal on other city.

Very tasty, thank you, this is now my favorite Vietnamese dish. As I learned from the internet, this is a local dish that you can only find on Phu Quoc. It's rice vermicelli with fish-coconut sauce stewed in curry, with added greens and papaya. This dish will forever remain in my memory.

Bun Ken is definitely a dish to check out while ur here!!! (its really only in this region as its one of their specialties here - not many other areas of vietnam makes it!) these guys also do Bun Nham, a Ha Tien specialty this place is a pretty well known spot for Bun Ken. and it's well known for good reasons! its delicious!!!! seating is all on low tables and stools, situated outdoors but undercover a very local style dining place but definitely worth a stop by! and at only 30k a bowl! what a steal!

Best place for breakfast (or lunch if you prefer) on the whole island! They serve local specialty with coconut curry and sea food for a long time. Mix everything before you eat it and you will have the taste of a tropical island in one bowl :) It all comes fast, served from lovely hosts and for a very good price. you also get a decent coffee here. Try it. I loved it so much.

Ganesh Indian Restaurant I recently visited Ganesh Indian Restaurant in Phu Quoc and had a great experience overall. The food is delicious, especially for those who enjoy authentic Indian non-vegetarian dishes. The restaurant offers a spacious dine-in area, which is comfortable for groups and families. However, the ambiance might not appeal to everyone it’s a bit dated and lacks the cozy feel of newer establishments. Still, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Based on other reviews: The restaurant is known for its large portions, so be mindful not to over-order 1. Dishes like Fish Tikka and Garlic Naan come highly recommended 1. Located at 97 Tran Hung Dao St, it’s easy to find and offers amenities like free Wi-Fi, delivery, and parking 2.

If the restaurant is empty/ less crowded then they will treat you like a king and if it’s full, they are arrogant and you get to eat what they serve and don’t question/ change or ask for any if it’s not relevant to what ever you have ordered. This is the second time am visiting this place. First time when we came it’s was less crowded and use to serve what ever we order and be nice to the people. Yesterday we went to da Nang hotel and even their service and taste was so awesome. Today I.e 3/10/25 we went to restaurant in PUQUOC and it was the worst restaurant experience we had. They very never respecting and they treated like you take what ever you give and don’t ask anything. We ask for normal roti and they gave butter naan. When we called the manager he said it will get late and this is what we have so take this only. Infant we have given the order to manager only. But still when we ask he was not at all ready to accept the mistake or try to help us. We Indian go here in the assumption we will get treated well and get good Indian food as the name it self suggests it’s an Indian restaurant. Please try to improve the hospitality and way you treat the customers else people will start finding alternatives like us. Hope this reaches the owner and get this corrected.

One of the worst hotels; no taste, and the staff should be more polite. My suggestion is that you provide guidance on food quantities for tourists; this will benefit your customers.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS 4 of us arrived ordered drinks and poppadoms, Of which they never arrived after asking 4 times! Food arrived stone cold like it had been made the day before and was sent back. 3 other meals arrived, stale, no taste, after marking down we asked for spicey. Lamb was consistency of a bouncy ball Poppadoms could bend a full 360° . Awful food, awful service, and the air-conditioning dripped on my leg the entire time.

The prices at this restaurant are reasonable, and the staff was actually very good and responsive. We had our meal here on the night of the 19th. When we found a hair in the food, they immediately changed the dish without any delay, which we appreciated. However, despite this, our overall experience turned out to be very disappointing. After eating, both my wife and I suffered from food poisoning. My wife was vomiting throughout the night and felt dizzy the next morning. Our entire trip had been wonderful, but this incident at the end completely spoiled our experience. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves their food hygiene standards.

Saigon Eatery is truly a memorable dining spot in Phu Quoc. The restaurant has a beautiful, modern yet cozy atmosphere. We ordered several dishes to try, and every single one was delicious and well-presented. I especially loved the grilled sourdough bread with truffle mushrooms — the texture was perfect, moist inside with a rich and flavorful sauce. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. If we ever return to Phu Quoc, Saigon Eatery will definitely be on our list again!

the food here hit the spot, and was a reasonable price! clean bathrooms w toilet paper. i really loved how they cooked their pork belly (not pictured), was v tender and flavorful. the sides of veggies were also fresh and had a refreshing dressing that paired v well w each other. all the other dishes were great as well! i recommend their chicken sandwich too. i believe they make all their bread and pastries in house!!! their cheesecake was a good “not too sweet” finisher. the staff are also attentive without hovering. the dishes came out one by one though, so i would definitely just plan to share everything w your table instead of individual plates!

We visited this restaurant on our last day in Phu Quoc after seeing good reviews — and it was a great choice. The space is beautifully designed with high ceilings, artisan touches, and lots of natural light. It felt calm and inviting. We had the soft-shell crab rice (a must-try!), fried squid, and cauliflower — all tasty and well-prepared. I also loved the orange espresso. Disappointing food, over rated stars and suspect no truth in the reviews. Cockles became bloody scallops in their menu and these are totally not fresh at all. Fortunately the staff are attentive enough to take the cockles back and cancel the orders. Kudos for the honesty. Then the oyster omelette have no oysters at all. While the sweet n sour pork rib are tough to chew. If you have to go then order the simplest stuff that cannot go wrong. Forget about seafood choices as you will be sorely disappointed

This restaurant has a relaxed and spacious setting, perfect for a casual meal with family or a group of friends. The atmosphere is comfortable with fans but could be improved if there was AC. Service was excellent – the staff were friendly and attentive, and our food arrived quickly. We ordered a selection of dishes to share, including the Canh Chua with Fish, Stir Fry Greens, and Lemongrass Pipis. The flavour profiles were generally well-balanced, though a little on the lighter side. This could easily adjusted with salt, pepper or soy sauce condiments on the table. The fish in the Canh Chua was slightly overcooked. The Stir Fry Greens, on the other hand, were cooked perfectly with a nice bite. My personal favourite dish was the Lemongrass Pipis. The flavour combination was well balanced and fragrant. The menu is extensive and can be overwhelming to read and pick. I recommend looking at pictures of the dishes online beforehand to ensure you know what you're ordering and will be happy with your choices. Overall enjoyable meal, value for money.

One of my go-to places on the island and will keep coming back here any next time I’m back to the island. Fresh seafoods as always, exceptional hygiene for a local Vietnamese restaurant (especially the toilets), very friendly and enthusiastic staffs, fast service, good atmosphere. The only comment to improve your foods is that for those garlic fried dishes or butter garlic fried dishes should you put less flour because the flour will make the food taste. Thats all, everything else there is almost perfect for me

Good lunch, we were taken here by our brother who works locally. Seafood is fresh and plentiful, prices mid-range. We thoroughly enjoyed Flower crabs, ca trinh salad and mushroom Tram soup with seafood, which apparently is a local delicacy. Oyster was big but not impressed. Lots of seating options, fast service, clean toilets. We had 1.8mil VND among 5 of us. Would recommend.

The staff were friendly and always served us promptly with our orders. There was a large TV in the main hall, but the atmosphere was pleasant and not too loud, and the food was also quite good. There were perhaps a few too many ice cubes in the orange juice, but other than that, we enjoyed our visit and can recommend this restaurant.

The food was definitely a highlight of the trip! They excel at both Vietnamese and Western food. Rec the goi ca trich if you wanna try authentic Viet food. I was so happy that they have live music too. The singer is Sovi, a Hong Kong singer, quite lowkey but great original songs! The view is amazing, i can watch the waves for hours!

The food is average. I couldn’t taste the four cheeses in the pizza and crust is normal. The rice cracker below the coconut chicken was very hard but the chicken was nice. Pork belly was tough but tasty. Basically just come here for the views (request to sit on the deck. We spent $1.6m for three of us.

We had a good lunch there. Would have stayed for dinner but its fully booked for the day. It was quite a pricey place but understand its for the view.

Location is great, service is very good, quite pricy though. We had several things to eat: the tuna tataki as appetizer was very good and fresh, the signature dish “Coconut Black King fish” was delicious and the signature dessert as well. However, I would not recommend the linguine Silk clams… so much pepper and other spices (even though I explicitly asked no spicy) that the dish had no other taste than that.

This place is just heavenly. The staff are lovely and clearly keen on providing you with the best experience. It’s on the pricier side compared to most places but you’re paying for the beautiful view and ambiance. And it’s worth it. Everything is beautiful and pristine. The food has decent portions and is well flavoured.

The food was excellent, though the portion was quite large, thankfully, I only ordered one. I do believe this is one of the few restaurants on the island with such a beautiful view. Definitely our highlight of Phu Quoc, Rory and his wife are the most welcoming and friendly hosts! The sea water pool is amazing and we were able to learn a lot of the island‘s history when chatting with Rory. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to play minigolf but the course looks really nice. We definitely recommend this place and if we came back on the island, we would stay here for sure. Paradise on earth!

Rory’s bar is an awesome spot, Aussie owner, very chilled atmosphere! Rory the owner was very hospitable, came and introduced himself not long after we arrived. Rory has an interesting insight into Phu Quoc’s background and his 15yrs of business up until today on the island. Cool seawater pool filled with fish and starfish. This should be a must-visit restaurant when you are in Phu Quoc. There are lots of choices in the menu and they all seem tasty. The food is absolutely delicious, full of flavors. Our fav so far are the mango chicken and crab salad. The owners are just so kind, making us feel home right away. Can’t wait to come back even though we’ve already been there twice. A simple yet clean and bright restaurant near our hotel. There were so many great options. Would 10/10 recommend their special pork ribs dish. It was soooo tender and braised to perfection. The staff there were polite and attentive, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food to come. The price was more than reasonable, a main course comes at around 100,000-150,000VND, and super large portions too!

If you arrive late at the night market and are worried about what time Phu Quoc night market opens, don't worry, the market doesn't close until midnight, around 11am, 12pm, depending on the number of tourists. If you go with a large group, you should buy a little of each dish and share it so you can enjoy all the delicious dishes.Food safety and hygiene at the market is always a concern for those with stomach problems, so remember to choose restaurants that look clean and tidy. Not always true but usually the restaurant that is crowded is good, you just go there to eat and it's ok. It was good, the waiters took the order and brought the drinks quickly, there was nice music playing, it was a very calm atmosphere. Wonderful experience and great location for the sunset. I’m not really sure if all the reserved tables were used at sunset. They should let guest who turn up early be the first to sit in those locations. I suspect they hold the tables on the chance bigger groups turn up. We enjoyed the live music and cocktail offerings.

Nice bar by the beach, spent new year's eve there, best beach party around after checking all nearby places, and great sunset anyway. However, outside specific occasions, it's overly loud, pretty expensive for what it is, food selection could be improved, the sand beach area is narrow and doesn't leave any space to lay down and even less put a towel. Good for a single party visit, not so much for a longer stay.

Went there for the first time ! As an expat was not expecting much . Was alone in the restaurant initially . Saw the chef in the restaurant and requested a thali from one person and the responce was no we don’t do half portions . which was strange - thali is always served for 1 in India . Then settled for a biryalni of lamb and for Drinks asked for a lassi the most Basic of Indian drinks but the staff were not sure and needed to check !! The Biryani was not really a biryani its was a whipped up concoction from the chef with no flavour and seasoning . The kulcha was dry didn’t have enough gheee - You need a dental insurance to eat this for sure. The local restaurants seem to offer more value for money better hospitality and generous as an Indian restaurant should be . The pickle serves as in the picture is dry and just 1 miserly piece I mean it comes from a bottle and not home made . Understand Phu Quoc has challenges but this will be my last time here definitely not recommended as other local India restaurants are better in quality

The paneer butter masala was creamy and well-balanced, perfect with the soft, charred naan. Sides like papadam, pickles, and fresh salad added texture and contrast. One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever visited. The cozy atmosphere with the lights is not too bright, the layout of tables and chairs and items shows the adjustment and investment. Had a phenomenal dinner here tonight. The food was outstanding as was the service (I forgot to take a note of the name of the young man that took our order and served us but he was so lovely, welcoming and provided excellent service - i hope the management can work out who it was and commend him!). The Best Indian Food Quality on Phu Quoc! We spent a week at Salinda Resort and dined numerous times at Pakka Indian. This restaurant is, without a doubt, the highest quality Indian food we found on the island, even after trying several other highly-rated spots in Phu Quoc! The ambience is lovely, and the cleanliness is impeccable. A huge part of this excellence is Chef Mr. Liladhar. His cooking is phenomenal—he has a unique way of adding flavors that elevate every dish. Furthermore, his dedication shows as he personally visits the table after serving to ensure we were completely satisfied with the food. Equally brilliant are the service staff, especially Mr. Khoi and Ms. Huong. Their service was exceptional; they were friendly, always alert, and made sure we received everything we wanted instantly. Pakka Indian is a must-visit for anyone craving top-tier food and world-class service. Highly, highly recommended!

The food was pretty good & we loved the service. However, I feel like you could get similar quality food for much cheaper. It was definitely a good experience but I would not pay that amount of money for the same food again as there are much cheaper options available for the same tasting food.

I always go to Bittersweet and when I get my bill it’s says 10% discount for visiting Hien charcoal kitchen next door. Very clever as I finally visited the place last week Over all food was surprisingly really good 👍 and extremely reasonable. Also quite tasty 😋. We were table of 6 and ordered cold starters , cucumber salad , grilled beef salad , edamame and then got the 3 different mixed grill which were very nice . Great for sharing ! Drinks were okay but would prefer the Cocktails from Bittersweet ! Service was okay need improvements. Desserts were so so need more work as panne cotta was too hard and others were not as good as the starters and mains so quite weak . Looking forward to coming back again as we live in Phu Quoc

When I was taking guests on a tour, we stopped by to eat here together. A cute spot for homecooked Vietnamese dishes and rice where everything is cooked over charcoal. A bit of a darling on the Internet, the place does deliver in terms s of genuine service was a smile and food that is delicious and won't cost a bomb. Food was not too bad although they are known for their hotpot, which we didn't order. We had rice (very delicious and aromatic) + and omelette (it's a rather "clean" tasting omelette so no Thai style umami woke fried flavours here + stir-fried pumpkin flowers w garlic + claypot fish (a little overcooked but the flavours were all there). Those pumpkin flowers are a must-try. Crunchy with a hint of sweetness, you won't find these at all restaurants. Love it! Thank you!

The best experience of countryside rice dish experience on the Island, it reminds me of my grandmother's house. The service is so nice and caring! The dished, I've ordered are all a "madeleine de Proust" to me. Their canh chua ca bop is delicious! Even their plain rice is fragrant and flavourful! My husband and I went back twice for lunch in our 4 days on Phu Quoc. The food was exceptional. I loved the decor and the chill vibes. The first time we went we tried the traditional Vietnamese fare (fresh and tasty) and the second visit we tried the banh pork croissant and the curry rice (delicious). Just I dont like the typical vietnamese vendor who are so grumpy and one didnt even allow me to take video of just the fruit 🙄 not as crowded as other night markets I‘ve been to in SEA. There are shops here selling surplus from famous brands like crocs, northface etc. I bought a pair of crocs for 300k dong. If there are not so many people they can give it as low as 250k dong! Around 10usd

Not a great market. 90% of stalls were seafood, peanuts, ice cream, crocs or pearls. Food we had was average and more expensive than outside market area.

A great night market with lots of food choices, mostly focused on seafood. It is hectic and crowded and some of the larger seating restaurants are just okay with food being average. Make sure you check the menus at the front of the restaurant before committing.

Just not my type of market. Felt a little hesitant to try the seafood. Just played safe and had some standard dishes, but it wasn’t that good. As a traveller and had been to many night markets in the world. This is one of the worst I’ve been.

Stayed nearby just to visit the market. It’s overrated and overpriced. The same stuff is sold in most of the stalls in the market. So if you visit 1 staff no need to visit the rest. You can feel the natural, local Vietnamese night market. There are lots of peanut stores, and they give sample peanuts. A lot of peanuts are on your hand after wandering the market.

Amen for the food and sunset, didn’t disappoint. Chef did a great job from pizza, to chicken skewers…but the fish and chips seemed to have jelly inside. Kinda weird, eh? Good wine menu, fantastic new venue but more work to do I think…

Don't get the tub on balcony rooms, terrible views, no hot water at night for the tubs, view obstructed by trees. Complained about shower not draining, nothing done about it. No wifi, complained and nothing done. Breakfast bar was great, lunch bar restaurant was good. Pool was great small beach area but not over crowded. If I could do it again I would choose the beach huts to stay. Very convenient. Also get a scooter very cheap and well worth it. Get the 150cc.

We had our Christmas day meal here, as well as eating here numerous other times, and it was just absolutely perfect every time. The view is beautiful, the live music creates a wonderful atmosphere and the food was so flavoursome. They also were very accomidating to my gluten allergy.

Im a pretty big foodie. Michelin starred to raving articles from almost every country. This restaurant served good food and cooked right. The risotto could have used more salt but was good. Would definitely come back to try other dishes. The view was fantastic with a good chill ambience. Maybe some fly coils could be left around to keep them away but overall good experience. Staff was attentive and friendly.

Service has been extremely quick and food delicious. After we ordered they brought free local tea for us to drink and food came after few minutes. I love the vintage design, the wooden furniture, there are also books and old magazine for you to read.

The cuisine is very good but the management has done its best to destroy its reputation. The cafe is likely to be owned by a family with 2 12-13 yr. old boys working as waiters. They accept orders taking no notes at all, and the result is predictable - they remember only to bring the coffee if you were lucky to mention it last. What a shame.

Had the breakfast with eggs, sausage and bacon. The sausage was not nice at all, the bacon fat I had to spit out because it was so chewy and the eggs had no taste. For the price I was not very happy. Have not seen anyone else eat there in over a week.

I would recommend walking just a bit farther to Peach cafe. The atmosphere in the restaurant part at least, is dark and drab and smelt like a wet dog (there was a big Husky type dog there that was probably sweating which is where we thought the smell came from). The staff were also pretty indifferent to our existence, so I would recommend Peach instead as there service is much better.

Pancakes get a thumbs up, egg baguette however was very greasy. Flat white from one waiter was made perfectly but my second flat white from another waiter was questionable. Very cute husky dog outside (in the shade).

The coffee and breakfast at this place is great! The staff and owner are also really friendly and helpful. I left my key room key in the restaurant and the owner took it back to my hotel for me so I didn't lose my deposit.

The baguette we ordered didn't taste great. The also put stuff on the bread that wasn't named on the menu. The 'cold' banana juice was oke, a bit to much water maybe.

We were served by queen and it was awesome food and amazing service. Me and my daughter had sqid and spaghetti bolognese and it was delicious. The setting of the restaurant was also very nice with lights, and decorations, definitely recommend to come for a nice relaxing evening.

Very good restaurant. Very friendly staff that actually so speaking quite good English. All the dishes that we ordered were tasty, especially the shrimp curry. Prices moderate to high so on the upper side but still acceptable for the quality provided. Definitely would recommend.

Van was attentive and the food was superb. On the higher end in terms of price but the variety and quality makes it worth it. The only weakness was the bread roll- the first round we got was cold and the garlic/chilli oil that came with it was not as fragrant as I hoped and I believed it was a neutral oil rather than olive oil(or was an olive oil that didn’t have olive flavour to it) which would have added more flavour and be healthier.

Food: i love the pizza here, thin crust, crunchy, yet it has enough cheese and not salty. You won’t feel overwhelm with cheese. Fettuccini was a bit plain for my taste as I prefer stronger flavor. But my kids love it. Service: amazingly good. They serve and explain all my questions and request. They also keep checking on me to see if I need additional service. Atmosphere: good vibe and nice decoration.

We decided to go here because they have pizza oven. Our starter was honey garlic bread which as lovely. It was crispy and very tasty. Unfortunately our pizza was just warm and we had to ask for it to be heated up and even when it came back it wasn't hot. Still, it was tasty. One gripe... we ordered a glass of wine each and when it came we literally thought it was a joke, the wine barely came up to the bowl of the glass and it wasn't cheap, 180 dong. We asked if it was correct and apparently that's how much they serve. This was our most expensive meal so far on Phu Quoc. We wouldn't return, it's not good value for money.

This place is a must-try if you’re in Phu Quoc—just walking by, the smell of fresh pizza is impossible to resist. The salad comes with amazingly rich cheese, and the pizzas are served hot right out of the oven, super flavorful and perfectly baked. The spaghetti is also great, loaded with crab meat and nicely salty in a good way. Overall, a cozy spot with delicious food that’s worth stopping for.

Impeccably run little gem in purpose built funky brick building with courtyard. Local creation Pizza options fantastic. Durian, Vietnam sausage and herring calzone excellent. Less bread volume crust than typical Neapolitan pizza. Service attentive. Definitely will come back.

We booked the 10:00 PM fire show, with an entry fee of 80K. Food and alcoholic drinks are charged separately. We arrived around 9:30 PM and found that most of the beach seating was already taken. Thankfully, we still managed to get a spot on the sand — others were starting to be directed to the high stools off to the side. Do note that food here is pricier than the drinks, and it’s best not to come with high expectations for the food quality. Occasionally, a whiff of sewage from the seaside drifts by, which was a major downside to the experience. The atmosphere is lively and chill — sipping drinks while sitting on the beach is a great way to unwind. However, be prepared that people around you may be openly smoking. Bean bag seats are limited, so if you’re hoping to get a good beach spot, be sure to arrive early. The fire show starts promptly at 10:00 PM. There might be a bit of waiting around beforehand, but the performance itself is truly impressive — though it only lasts around 7–8 minutes, it’s absolutely worth seeing. One tip: once the show ends, everyone rushes to book a Grab, so plan your transport ahead to avoid the scramble.

We came straight to Ocsen to unwind after a fantastic day exploring the island. Earlier, we had booked an incredible tour with the Moto Nomad team, led by Marc. After spending hours on a bike seeing the hidden gems and local life, we were ready for pure relaxation. Ocsen provided just that. The vibe is immediately welcoming and incredibly chilled, with bean bags and comfortable seating spread across the sand, right up to the water's edge. We ordered a couple of cold, refreshing cocktails (their mojitos are killer!) and found a perfect spot. As the sun began to dip towards the horizon, painting the sky in fiery oranges and pinks, the atmosphere became magical. It was the absolute perfect end to the day. The service was fast and friendly, and the music was subtle enough to allow for conversation while still creating a cool, beach club feel. Whether you’re recovering from an adrenaline-filled day (like us!) or just seeking a beautiful spot for an evening drink, Ocsen is a must-visit. Highly, highly recommended!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool with trees growing inside of it and a couple of tables! The items on the menu are really cheap and u can easily find something you like! Our company ordered in spring rolls for a starter and they were crispy and delicious! I went for the BBQ squid and it was perfectly cooked and had a great taste! Overall i am very pleased with my visit to heaven and i will most definitely be back again!

The place has some really nice juices , passion fruit and guava a sure shot try. Food is slightly above average and a bit over priced. Visit this place for some refreshing juices there are better places for food in phu quok which I'll update.

I read all the review before I came into this place. Food was just okay but not that great as described. I ordered their most special BBQ dish which cost 190 000 VND, but food arrive very little on the plate! Only 1 little Prawn, 1 tiny squid, and a fish! All dishes we order come out very little. Our bill was nearly 500 000VND and we left with a stomach still hungry. But I could not order more food because food take forever to arrive to your table. The owner is nice but she need more staffs to serve as everyone waiting for such a long time.

I would never have stepped inside based on the looks of the place, but the reviews brought me here. The service was in English and the food was great, had the best fried spring rolls in Vietnam. The prices are very low, beer is super cheap. 10/10 would come back. UPDATE: We did come back and got an even better experience (go for the squid).

Afte eating poorly prepared and expensive fish at the night market we decided to give a try to this restaurant based on the good ratings. The pictures in Google maps don't really represent the venue, it's far nicer than what you can tell. We had BBQ fish for 170k, which is half price from anywhere else at the market, and shrimps with tamarind sauce which were delicious. Location is good, walking distance from many bars. Recommended!

Bup seafood restaurant is great place for lunch or dinner. We've decided to visit this restaurant because it has high rate review. The restaurant met our expectation. I tried first time Vietnam lobsters and sea urchin and liked very much! They were very tender and delicious. Big portion of tasty crumbly rice with shrimps and calamari. Even fresh fries and sauces are the best in Phu Quoc. Tuan Pham and his family with staff were very welcome. Thank you again.

Here you get really nice freshly alive seafood. I recommend you to order their signature dishes like eggy squids and rocky lobsters. We really loved their food. Owner Tuan speaks very good English and is very friendly. He is happy to explain you all the food. He will also tell you how the food is prepared. When we discussed how the food is prepared, we saw that more fresh seafood were delivered directly by fishers. The quality of the seafood is really good.

We asked our receptionist at the le veranda hotel where local people go out to eat with their families for the weekend or to celebrate something and he told us about this place. We went and we were not disappointed, everything tasted good the place looked clean even though the cooking area was spartan and looked improvised like the majority of the local restaurant kitchens and the staff was as nice and as friendly as they can be considering their language skills. The person we identified as the manager spoke very well though. I give this place 5 stars because the restaurants at the night market a 10 minute walk away were so much worse and more expensive than this place.

Don't rely on taxis; rent a quality bike from Moto Nomad, hit the road, and make sure you end your day right here for the spectacular view! 10/10 experience!

The café is located high above the town, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley below. Watching the sunset from there while sipping on a warm cup of coffee felt absolutely magical. By far my favorite restaurant on Phu Quoc. The view of the city is incredible. Large range of traditional Vietnamese food done well. Excellent cocktail range. Very friendly staff. I loved it here and would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Phu Quoc. We ate the Vietnamese pancake, seafood rice, chicken, our daughter got ice cream and a few cocktails each.

Best place in Phu Quoc to have a drink with an incredible view of the city, the mountains and the ocean. They have some nice cocktails, beer or sodas and food. I tried the mushroom Banh mi and it was delicious. The place was calm and quiet, it was relaxing to just chill out on the terrace. It’s a must if you are in the area.

My visit to Chuon Chuon Bistro & Bar was absolutely wonderful. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the fried spring rolls and the grilled pork rice plate. Everything was fresh and flavorful. And the Vietnamese coffee was a highlight, it was perfect! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and a lovely atmosphere.

Stayed at the Intercontinental. Lucky to get the last seating (outdoor) without reservation on a Friday evening. Ordered the sea food platter (comes with mashed potatoes and cooked vegetables) which is more than adequate for the 2 of us. The food was tasty and fresh. Price was reasonable to me. The service was good and very attentive. Went inside the restaurant just to look and it is nice. Highly recommend!

The Hàm Ninh crab is unique with a spicy kick (make sure to mention if you can’t handle spicy food). The scallops are juicy with a special texture. The grilled chicken is succulent, and the tom yum sauce is well-balanced. Reasonable pricing for a 5-star hotel setting.

Fresh crab + pungent local pepper = iconic. Grilled Mountain Chicken: Crispy skin, juicy meat. Whole Squid: Perfectly tender, masterfully charred. Verdict: Worth visiting solely for the crab and seafood specialties—skip the steak and pork. Ideal for groups; even non-hotel guests should make the trip for that exceptional crab.

We order the seafood platter, the most expensive item. But it’s fairly disappointing. I won’t say it too expensive for a 5-star hotel but most of the shell fish like the oyster, scallops, mussels were frozen stuff with not much umami and flavor but the crab is the best. The lobster is local farmed but sadly it’s over cooked a bit , kinda rubbery in texture and I’d prefer they pan seared them instead of just blanched it. The pepper sauce is excellent though! Anyway, overall it’s not value for money and I prefer to spend this money in Japan .

Came here for breakfast this morning and was less than pleased. Service was shit. The staff look at you like you don’t belong there. Food was mediocre and ridiculously over priced. Would not recommend! There’s a sign on the table saying that their portions are a big size - complete crap. Paying over 200k VND for simple eggs and toast is absurd - and who serves fries with breakfast? I understand people come here the view but there are so many other options in the area and way better service. Don’t waste your time and money.

Sailing Club Phu Quoc is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the beach-club atmosphere. The staff are attentive and friendly, always making sure every guest is comfortable and taken care of. The property is very clean, from the pool area to the seating by the sea. The pool and beachfront areas are perfect for lounging during the day, and the vibrant fire shows in the evening create a memorable atmosphere. It can get busy at peak times, which just shows how popular the place is, but the staff handle it smoothly and keep everything organized. Whether you’re here to hang out by the pool or along the sea, it’s an excellent spot for both relaxation and entertainment.

Wonderful bar with a great pool and happy hour 3-6 and 8-10). Spent many days watching the sunset and enjoying the weather. The cauliflower burger and ceviche are really good. Happy hour drinks are great and there is a fire show every night at 8.

Very chilled, relaxing. Food is excellent, young staff do a great job, views are pretty special as well. If you are there in the evening don't miss the free Fire Show at 8pm.

Great spot, one the best beach clubs / pool / food spots in the area especially during the day. We wasn’t staying at the hotel and visited just for one day. Got beach front beds for 3-4 hours then moved to the pool side. No entry fee just 350,000 minimum spend per person. Well worth visiting!

The scenery is so beautiful and calm, loved it. I probably missed European style cuisine that much that the chicken mango salad with mustard sauce (it was called chicken avocado smh) tasted simply DIVINE. They have happy hours from 3 pm till 5pm as well (1+1 for some of the drinks like cocktails , mocktails, juices). You would spend at least 400 000k VND here but it is well worth the price. The service is bad though. Have to remind to bring your order.

Thoroughly mediocre food, basic bistro menu, coarse experience My experience with the Basquaise roasted yellow chicken, one of the chef’s two signature dishes, fell short of expectations, particularly given the higher price point than other main dishes. I was disappointed to find that the presentation of the roasted chicken lacked appeal. The chicken was shown to me without its thighs, which were subsequently sent back to the kitchen for further carving. This initial display did little to kindle my appetite. Moreover, the skin of the chicken appeared decidedly unappetizing. Rather than exhibiting a crisp exterior, it was wrinkled and soft, lacking the texture one would anticipate from a dish of this caliber, even before sauces were introduced. Following the carving, the dish was topped with a layer of crumbs that seemed intended to mask the less-than-inviting appearance of the chicken skin. While I understand that a Basquaise sauce is a fundamental aspect of this dish, the sauce was a mere presence underneath the thighs that were initially hidden from view. This provided no justification for the compromised quality of the chicken skin, which became increasingly evident without any enhancements from the sauce. The texture of the chicken was notably dry, detracting significantly from the overall flavor. It seemed devoid of the rich, savory essence that one typically expects from a well-prepared roasted chicken. The only available a la carte menu (apart from vegetarian set menu) was filled with a range of seemingly standard bistro-style offerings, including tartare, pâté en croûte, carpaccio, snails, frog legs, octopus, sea bass, bouillabaisse, and risotto, all of which felt rather ordinary and unremarkable, especially for a restaurant that is part of a luxury hotel boasting a Michelin-starred chef. I was hoping for a more innovative or refined selection. It is worth noting that I had come across several online reviews posted 4-12 months ago accompanied by photos of visually appealing dishes. However, upon inquiry with the waitress, I learned that these items were part of previous, possibly seasonal menus, and were not currently available. Due to the language barrier and lack of an English proficient manager or maître d’ on site to provide clarity, I was unable to ascertain that these dishes were indeed part of a collaboration with Jeju JW Marriott restaurant/chef, as I later discovered through other reviews. They also used to have 6-8 course set menus. Now you only “customize” yours with 6 dishes in the same a la carte menu.. And of course, amuse-bouche (some croquette/tartlet) & petit fours (macaron/chocolate/canelé?), seen from other reviews, were not served in our visit but vegetable sticks with anchovy/olive dips that requires minimum effort, I mean… I’m starting to lose it. Also please look at the ugly desserts! They don’t even bother to bake the “TART” in lemon tart, it’s a lump of semi liquid in a glass on top of maybe some tart crumbs. The meringue didn’t even sit, it’s melting halfway. A baked tree shaped ornament does not just magically make it a “refined” dessert. The hot chocolate Moelleux, it looked as if they just poured the batter in the dish and baked it. So convenient, didn’t even have to use a mold and zero failure rate. The centre was not runny. Oh so bad, just so bad. Seriously, were the main master/chef on holiday during Easter????? I saw that the chef would be back ONLY on Apr 27 and 28 to personally prepare menus. Or do they now have a different concept on “refined” French Mediterranean cuisine? Gold elite member, so I get a 10% off (usually 25% off in JW Marriott dining)

It felt like a show for the palate, I wanted to make a stand up ovation when the dinner ended. The food was truly remarkable, loved the consistent thread with citrus while so many different flavors exposed with each dish. The service was professional and warm. As of the setting, very charming and cosy, the right balance between creativity and elegance. Thank you for the lovely evening!

This is definitely one of the best fine dining we ever had in all our trips around the world. All courses served were amazing from the taste to the presentations. We had dinner at the Pink Pearl Restaurant at JW Marriott Phu Quoc and chose the vegetarian set menu, as we don’t eat shellfish. The staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly throughout the evening. Every course was beautifully presented and full of flavor, but the standout dish for us was the tomato carpaccio with tomato sorbet, an amazing combination of sweet and tangy flavours, perfectly balanced with contrasting textures. After ten days of travel in Asia, this was the first truly refreshing and memorable meal of our trip. Thank you, Chef Danny, and the wonderful hospitality team at Pink Pearl, for an amazing night.

Unforgettable Birthday Dinner Experience I celebrated my birthday dinner at Pink Pearl and it was truly a moving experience. The live singer performed songs upon request, which made the evening incredibly special and memorable. This is an experience I will never forget. I absolutely want to make another occasion to visit again. Highly recommended for special celebrations!

A romantic and relaxing place with nice music , the beautiful garden and colorful lights are perfect. Food are amazing, staffs are polite and really helpful.They have open kitchen, so you can see the chef while preparing your mouth watering meal . We ordered Grilled Galecian Octopus with potatoes and Fried baby squid in black tempura ink it was really good . For desert we had chocolate fondant and passion fruit mousse cake it was fantastic. They also have wide selections of drinks , from wines , cocktails, draft beers spirits and many more. If you guys wanted a relaxing night, with cool music, good food and ambiance try to visit Phufoc Courtyard .

All the dishes are very delicious. The aperitifs and sangria were also great and easy to drink. The paella takes a bit of time to make, so I recommend going when you can afford it.

Wow! What an amazing find in the night market. Nestled in between shuttered cafes and seafood restaurants, you'll find this gem of an eatery. The food is fantastic, and the service is friendly. We loved the tuna empanadas and garlic shrimp. But the star of the show was the scallops. They were amazing! Fresh and cooked to perfection in a savory sauce with a crispy bacon topping. Yum! Don't miss this place. And don't forget reservations. It's an intimate place with only a few tables, which adds to the charm.

We’ve been there 4 times and as always we were really pleased. You have good quality spanish food cooked by Andreu’s wife in front of you and amazing cocktails prepared by Andreu, all at a reasonable price. We had a platter of different tapas, a really nice bruschetta with mushroom, onion and manchego cheese, some salad and a dessert, all with a nice glass of spanish wine. Will come back and recommend it 100%

The local Vietnamese cuisine, the seafood are fresh, fair portion with fair price! All the staffs are so friendly and ethuasiatics even they are not communicate well in English. They serve us free clams and watermelons. We ordered for 5 dishes and paid 706k VND.

I like the food, prawn and grilled squid with spicy sauce. The taste are so yummy. Thank you for salad as appetizer and watermelon as dessert. You don’t have to worry about the prices as they show you the weight of the fish on the weighing scale. Overall, this place has fresh seafood, genuine prices, and a comfortable environment. Awesome dinner by the chefs and services by Quynh We ordered the sea urchin, oysters and barracuda fish with butter garlic + pomegranate. For drinks - it’s was coconut, also the watermelon juice 😌😬😬 The taste was so good, even came with complimentary salad and watermelon for balance diet. Quynh happily recommended the ‘special sauce’ they had - which was delicious (fragrant and fresh) to enjoy first; highly recommended Environment wise~ there were many mosquitoes hahaha - so please bring your repellants or ask the staff there

It's really hard to get there but definitely worth it. The food is amazing and the place has a great sunset view. Its easier to get there with a motorcycle. You can also walk on the beach untill you see it. Also If you make a reservation (not mandatory) the owner will help you if you get lost. I highly recommend it.

The Bamboo Restaurant is a hidden gem. This unassuming little Vietnamese restaurant right on the beach with some tables on the sand and the sound of the ocean lapping just metres away is a real treat. While waiting for your meal, you can also have a go on the rope swing : ) Although not easy to find from the road, we were fortunate to be staying ‘next door’ at the Chen Sea Resort … just an easy 2 minute direct walk away along the beach. The place is run by a typically hard working family serving up honest, delicious and well priced food in a low key environment. The lovely lady owner speaks English fluently so communication is not an issue. We went two nights in a row because it was the end of monsoon season and not busy at night. However, we were told that during day in the dry season, the restaurant and beach chair area were well patronised. There are no issues with hygiene, with the place clean and tidy and food freshly cooked. Special higher priced seafood like lobsters, crabs and grouper are specially purchased only on demand from the market in town and brought back. This ensures freshness but it also means that you need to order it at least 3 hours in advance. One of their signature dishes is made from fresh tuna which is apparently really popular, but we didn’t get the chance to try it ourselves. However, we ordered most of the things on the menu including spring rolls, local green vegies, seafood fried rice, fried noodles, grilled scallops, prawns and squid – and all were delicious. Their fruit smoothies are great – filled with fruit which you can really taste. If you like dogs, they have a few pet ones there that are friendly and healthy and are happy for a pat too if you call them over. Bamboo Restaurant is in a quieter part of Phu Quoc but well worth the visit – especially if you are staying nearby but also worth travelling to if you want to try their tuna special (contact them first in case you need to pre-order). It’s a nice relaxed local option from having to eat at the hustle and bustle of the night market / town.

Owners very pleasant. We had a table outside right on the beach under a tree. All the food was amazing! The views from the table were spectacular! Very reasonable priced.

The Bamboo restaurant is the best I have ever been to (very nice people, great atmosphere, beautiful setting and delicious food - the best spring rolls and smoothies in the world). You have to wait a long time to order, but this is an advantage - because the food is prepared on a regular basis, it is fresh and delicious, and while you wait, you can relax and enjoy the peace on the beach. Anyone who comes to Phu Quoc must go and eat and relax at Bamboo restaurant. This is an absolute must-have.

Pleasant Vietnamese Dining at Rice Market (Regent Hotel) - Good Flavors But Mind the Wait Rice Market offers a comfortable Vietnamese dining experience at Regent Hotel with some notable highlights. The wagyu beef pho delivers good flavor though the meat lacks the visible marbling you'd expect. Their pancake stands out as particularly excellent - perfectly crispy without being oily. Service can be slow; we waited over 30 minutes for our food despite only two other tables being occupied. While no dishes were truly exceptional, the pleasant atmosphere and well-executed items like the pancake make this a solid choice for relaxed dining when you're not in a hurry. Just don't expect picture-perfect wagyu or quick service.

High quality service, wonderful interior design, spectacular pool and beach view. Although it's quite pricy it was worth visiting as an outside guest as after lunch I could enjoy the beach bed and the art exhibition.

Asian restaurant inside Regent Phu Quoc. The dishes were good but some of the stir fried vermicelli stuck together in clumps. Crab cakes were amazing too, juicy and comes with shrimp inside. The service was really good and the staff was super attentive to my needs.

Delicious food with variety of choices. We chose the asian Restaurant during our stay in Phu Quoc and it did not disappoint us. The food was well cooked and well presented. The staffs were really nice. After our dinner, they also walked us around to have the restaurant tour. The price are really reasonable. We were a group of 14 and We paid around 1 million per person.

Very beautiful and classy place. The service was excellent. It was one of the better food experiences I've had in Phu Qouc. For the starter, I tried the Wagyu pineapple sallad, and the combination worked well. My main dish was Wagyu Pho Bo. It was served with vegetable condiments and chilli. It was really well made. I will come back and recommend a visit.

The food was amazing, i would definitely recommend the Mantis Shrimp and the Crab Sticky Rice. What was also good was all of the seafood sauces, easily a 10/10

Very good Bun Quay. A subtle broth that highlights the seafood and fish patty which are cooked excellently. The portion size is large, it's good value for money. There's a condiment / seasoning bar so you can custom make your own dipping sauces.

Came in for late lunch, very quiet. Massive restaurant with private A/C rooms. Ordered Ca kho, water crest soup, fish cake ( Phu Quoc) style, steam rice and 2 soda chanh. Bill came to a bit of over 700k. Quite pricey for simple Vietnamese dishes but we did sit in there private rooms with A/C. The dishes were well portioned and tasty.

This was during the holidays, so it was very busy. Absolutely bad service, totally understaffed. Waited 90 minutes didn't get all our drinks and they provided us with the wrong buffet. We gave up once we saw 4 tour groups turn up. If you know your going to be busy, get more staff on. If you know you don't have enough staff, maybe don't put out so many tables. Very, very disappointed.

This was the best “investment” of our money, 500k for entry of beautiful beach, pool, seats etc, but you can consume all of this money! There is a happy hour from 17 to 19, 1 free drink for every 1 paid, u basically paid the entrance and then buy something at bar and keep the bill of remaining money, they even get us money back after last payment (we had 1mil, 90k left), the food was totally awesome!! look at pictures

I had the worst dinner at the Aura restaurant next to the pool. The female staff member wearing glasses was extremely unfriendly. During dinner time, my sister personally ordered onion rings, a Malibu drink, and a 1+1 beer while we were sitting on a two-person sunbed. Before the food arrived, we realized that the space was too small for three people to eat comfortably. Additionally, we were informed that the pool was closing for the evening. I found the interior of the Aura restaurant beautiful and wanted to move to a different seat. I asked a A different staff member who was not wearing glasses if we could change seats, and they said it was okay as long as we used towels to keep our swimsuits from getting the seats wet. The staff also asked for our sunbed table number, so I immediately asked my sister and told them, “Sunbed table 7, ordered items: Malibu, beer, and onion rings.” The staff confirmed and acknowledged this, so I assumed everything was taken care of and went to inform my mother, who was at sunbed 7. However, when we arrived, only the onion rings had been delivered—our drinks were missing. My mother and I moved to the new table, assuming the drinks would arrive soon. The Problem: Even after 15 minutes, our drinks still hadn’t arrived. We kept eating just the onion rings while repeatedly asking the staff when our drinks would come. They told us they had already been delivered to sunbed 7 and would bring them to us soon. While waiting, we ordered additional items: pasta and mango juice. Sunbed 7 was very close to our new table, yet the staff still took an unusually long time to bring our drinks. After some time, a staff member finally brought two bottles of beer, saying they had been delivered to table 7. However, the Malibu drink was still missing. When I asked, “Where is the Malibu?” the staff member got angry and raised their voice, saying: “Why did you move before all the food was delivered?” Then, they rudely threw down two sets of plates, forks, and knives on our table—even though we had three people. Later, when they brought the Malibu, they practically threw it onto the table. We had originally planned to enjoy our drinks after a nice swim, but instead, we ended up having a terrible evening. Questions: 1. Why wasn’t the Malibu delivered to sunbed 7 along with the beer? • The Malibu was given to us much later, separately, and the staff member was visibly angry about it. • It was listed on our bill, but at the time, it was completely missing from both sunbed 7 and our new table. • We ordered it, but it never arrived 2. Why did the staff get angry when we had already informed them that we were moving tables? • If you are curious, check the CCTV. You can confirm that I informed another staff member before moving to a different table. • If there was miscommunication among the staff, is it appropriate for them to take out their frustration on customers? This experience completely ruined our evening. In the end, a kind male manager apologized to us. He offered some complimentary service as compensation, but we declined and instead requested an apology from the female staff member wearing glasses. After receiving guidance from the manager, she eventually apologized. However, while bringing the Malibu drink, she repeatedly insulted us more than 10 times in a loud voice to other staff members, making sure we could hear her. We had to endure those offensive remarks while eating our food. When my sister went to make the final payment, the manager informed her that they had not charged us for one mango juice. While we appreciate the gesture, it doesn’t change the fact that we had a terrible experience on the first day of our family trip due to the poor service and unprofessional behavior.

Very grateful to Asst Manager Ms. Mai Ngoc Thanh Tam (most fluent English speaker at Movenpick WaverlyHotel) who suggested and orchestrated this amazing flower festooned private candlelit sunset dinner on the beach when we reached out to the hotel for help in celebrating our anniversary. We chose the Asian menu for its shrimp, lobster crispy noodles, and dessert the other options were Western and Fusion. The package included our choice of cocktails and red or white wine and several surprises! From Day 1 when Ms. Mai Ngoc Thanh Tam welcomed us with open arms, Movenpick Hotel Phu Quoc‘s Aura Beach Club has been our happy place for 7:30AM beach yoga, poolside lunches, happy hour & starlit dinners! The practically open-air Aura Beach Club overlooks the pool and beach. We highly recommend the very hospitable and professional staff, the tapas, the crab-packed crab fried rice, Taco Tuesday guacamole, the smoked duck & truffle pizza, seafood salad, garlic bok choy, 2 for 1 Happy Hour inside the pool or out, and do claim the 2nd table from the beach but next to the pool with the glorious sea and sunset view. In March there was always a nice sea breeze keeping us cool. Do ask for Mai she is a gem- a true professional with a bright future in hospitality.

I was here for a day with the Day Pass. It costs 500,000 dong, which can be used for food and drink. You also get a towel. Very nice, well-kept complex. Great pool and the beach is great too. The service was good, after ordering the drinks always came very quickly. I would have liked to stay longer!

As long as you are OK with a bit of constant upsell. It feels like a tourist trap. They definitely prefer you buy their seafood by weight than one of the fixed price dishes. The restaurant gave me the pleasant when enjoying the food here. Every two tables have 1 waitress waiting just to serve you and they are very friendly and helpful. The food are cooked so good and in big portion. You should order one by one because you really cannot finish it. The prices are not so cheap, but you get what you pay for. After eating here in the first day, and tried another famous restaurant the next day, I decided to eat here only till I left Phú Quốc

This place was honestly the highlight of my trip! I enjoyed it so much. The concept is super unique — they don’t have a fixed menu. Instead, they ask what you feel like eating and you can just request it. I’ve never experienced anything like that before, and it felt so special. Never would have expected a bar like this on a Vietnam island - highly professional and more than well trained bartenders, amazing atmosphere, top ingredients, stop searching for the best drinks, you get them here. We’re big cocktail lovers and are always searching for good bars when going on travels, but this was a very unexpected surprise, especially regarding the extremely nice and highly skilled staff that could keep up with top bars all over the world. This bar only has one fault - it’s not located at my hometown. I love it!

Bittersweet Chocolate & Cocktail Bar is a very fun spot in Phu Quoc, Vietnam to grab a drink. It’s a speakeasy bar located behind a chocolate shop. Inside, the atmosphere is sophisticated and intimate. It’s a nice spot to enjoy a drink after dinner The bartenders Teebi, Casper, and Jay were incredible and fun to talk to. They crafted delicious cocktails tailored to our flavor preferences— they were really fresh ingredients and lots of creativity behind the drinks. Many of the drinks came with a chocolate garnish, which was fun because we got to try the chocolates —we enjoyed them so much we bought a bunch home as souvenirs for friends and family. We got to play a little Halloween game with the staff and other guests that night, guessing how many pumpkins were on display behind the bar. Overall, the cocktails were high quality, the vibes were great, and the bartenders were outstanding. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Phu Quoc— and you should try their chocolates!

Cocktail bar behind a hidden door! No menu you just tell them what flavours you like and they make it for you. The BEST cocktails I have ever had. The bar staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is brilliant. They also have 2 for 1 happy hour Love it!!

It's one of the bars that you must visit. The bartender, Chuyen, was really.. really wonderful bartender. He mixed a lot of good drinks that were not on the menu. Nice atmosphere with good Vibe ! We went twice in two nights. Had fun with drinks and chitchat with Chuyen. He mixed a very good bowl of Scorpion drink. Amazing ! For sure we will go there again if we come back to Phu Quoc. Recommend this bar if anyone likes or looks for nice drinks.

Great bar with delicious drinks just off of the night market. The place has about 9 tables with 2-4 seating, plus bar seating. There is a stage for performance area but we went quite early (7:30 or 8pm) so there wasn't anyone performing. Staff are very attentive and skilled at making cocktails. There is a pool table and fooseball table to enjoy with activities. Highly recommend.

Great bar close to the night market. The drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is pretty and fun. The music on a Sunday evening was to our liking, so we hung out for a few hours enjoying it, our cocktails and some games(pool table, table football and darts).

I came here in the early evening, classic soft soulful music in the background, and the bartender kept me company till he got busy. Loving the skillful making of the cocktails, and it's absolutely a gem. Then I am back the other night after 10 pm. It's vivid and so lively, they were busy and still keep up with the services, this is definitely a go to spot for my last 2 weeks of phu quoc. Try it you'll know. 👍🍸

We went here on a Tuesday night and it was quite empty. There were about 5 people tops maybe. I guess that’s fine because it was a weekday. The staff were nice but our drinks took quite a while to make which I found a bit odd considering the place was empty. I will say though, that the drinks were very good. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. We didn’t stay long.
