Came here because the bar I wanted to try was closed, and glad I did. Looking for a craft beer, and their Engkanto range doesn’t disappoint. It all sounds a bit weird but tastes great. Mango Nation hazy IPA and High Five honey ale were both excellent, and I don’t normally do flavoured beer. And they mix some fabulous cocktails. Super friendly staff, good music, and what I assume would be a cool spot on any night except a quiet Monday. Check it out

After I had my dinner, I proceeded to Polilya to have some good time, chilling over there. The atmosphere and vibes were really really good, because it's a Friday night, so kind of full house but still the entertainment vibes are up to the next level. I had ordered Honey Ale and Live It Up Lager, the beers were really nice, I really enjoyed myself over there.

We saw this place sold Engkanto beer, which we really enjoy and we're blown away by the experience. The cocktails were delicious and balanced. The bar bites were tasty. The atmosphere is hip and the music was a DJ set with transitions. We were here pretty late on a Wednesday night, around 11pm. It was pretty quiet inside, only 2 other groups and us. I'm hoping it was quiet because it was a weeknight. This place is worth the hype!

Nice cozy place. Service is great, Miguel can explain you every drink or suggest you one! The music got loud after a while but nothing so annoying.

We booked the whole 3rd floor for a get together with my friends in the perfume hobby. the place is nice and the food is good. i especially loved the chicken liver paté and the Brie with truffle. serving size for the mains are meant for sharing so dont make the mistake of buying too much or you might not be able to finish it. i loved the cocktails as well.

One of our best date nights in Makati! We absolutely enjoyed the steak and wine - ended up getting 2 bottles because it was such a good deal. We’re glad we found this spot, and they even have a rooftop bar! Just a small note - we were a bit surprised there wasn’t any free bread or starter considering the price. Not a complaint, just an observation. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back!

Love the vibe here—perfect spot for the millennial crowd! I attended an event last night (October 6) and it was such a great experience. The food was delicious and the portions are generous—big enough to share. I ordered the Truffle Pasta and you can really taste the truffle, which was amazing. The cocktails and red wine were also spot on. Special shoutout to my server, Rainier, who was very accommodating and made the night even better. Highly recommend!

Wine bar that always has great quality wines by the glass and fantastic food to go along with it. I like especially the items in the “home made” section of the menu where you can order pates and rilletes etc to have with the wine. The bread is Europe quality which is rare in Asia. They have several outlets but this one is exceptional for its fantastic rooftop terrace.

Eat here two days. Will be back when Next in Manila. Onion soup and Foie Gras the first night. On the second day, I had the prawn flambé the pate and the salmon. They do a two for one between five and seven on glasses of wine and alcohol - I think it’s Monday to Friday, and it makes it very very good value. Don’t miss out. Definitely eat here.

Ma’am Fiona and Sir Mark made our time so much fun and entertaining! I loved everything about the place and the drinks. I’ll definitely visit again next time and look for Ma’am Fiona and Sir Mark, since they’re the best staff there.

The view from the rooftop is beautiful, overlooking the Makati Ayala Triangle, it really sets a nice backdrop for the night. Perfect spot if you’re after city lights and rooftop vibes. The food was okay, nothing special or standout, but decent enough for casual dining. What threw me off a bit was the music, it was too loud for a place that seems like it’s trying to offer a more upscale experience. I couldn’t tell if they were going for a fine dining atmosphere or a bar/club scene. That said, the service was excellent. Staff were friendly, attentive, and quick, which really helped make the experience more enjoyable overall. If they tone down the music a little, it could be a perfect chill spot.

When I arrived at the entrance, a male staff member informed me that the restaurant was fully booked. I asked if there was any chance of getting a table later, but he explained that they were fully occupied for the day. However, once inside, another staff member kindly showed me to a table. Although all the seats with a view were taken and mine didn't have a view, I still thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the drinks. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience.

We celebrated my friend’s birthday at Penthouse 8747 and I have to say, the place did not disappoint. The rooftop view was so nice, the vibe was cozy but classy, and the food was really good — especially the salad, easily the best I’ve ever had! 🥗👌 But what made the experience extra special was their honesty. I actually lost an earring there last Sept 18, and I thought it was gone for good. I messaged their FB page and even texted the number on WhatsApp, and true enough they kept it for me. By Tuesday, I was able to get it back through Lalamove. Sobrang kudos to the staff for being so accommodating and trustworthy. 🙌 Highly recommending this place — great food, beautiful view, and people you can really trust. 💯

Great hangout spot! Highly recommend visiting at night so you can enjoy the city lights. When we went, a lot of the snacks were already unavailable (to be fair, it was close to their closing time ), so we just got cocktails instead Timestamp: FEB 2025

Their carbonara and pizza were pretty good, though I wasn’t a fan of the steak since it was served cold and a bit chewy. Service was also on the slower side, and the prices felt a bit high for the taste. But if you’d like to experience dining at the top of the building with a nice view, you can still give this place a try.

I was looking for a cozy place where we could celebrate our anniversary in Makati. This restobar is all over tiktok search that’s why we gave it a try and booked our reservation. Our experience was just okay. Food is just okay, nothing really stood out and nothing’s special, also service can be improved since it is also part of the expense. Feels like they’re short staffed or would be better if they will be more accommodating to the guests. Vibe is just okay, too. Just request not to be seated near the DJ or live music. If you’re just two, seat in the balcony area as the view is amazing.

I was expecting a classy vibe but the really loud happy birthday songs were really annoying. While you are talking with your friends, the song will disrupt the vibe. It’s giving Buffet 101 vibes lol. It could have been a simple cake and personal greeting. The place was not IT. If you get it, you get it. Food was good though.

Came here for a few drinks on our layover in Manila. Fantastic cocktails - if it wasnt that late at night we would have wanted to make our way through the entire menu! Couldnt fault a thing. Their special cocktails were a visual treat with the ceremony accompanying it. Great atmosphere with the live music - they had a great acoustic guitarist who played some great music and even took requests! Would love to go back again the next time we are there so we can also try the food.

I've never seen such a concept of mystical bar/restaurant with a Filipino touch. Very enchanting! Aside from the ambience, the drinks are also delicious and unique. We tried some of their specialties with their world-renowned ube liqueur. Every Friday, they also have live acoustic music and if you are daring, you can jam with them and sing for the crowd. I would say this is my best go-to bar in Poblacion area. Prices are almost similar to clubs but their cocktails are with quality ingredients.

Agimat at Ugat Foraging Bar and Kitchen is not an ordinary ordinary bar, nor is it located in any ordinary area with an ordinary exterior or interior. Most drinks have been modified (both in taste and execution), to suit the tastes and preferences of the Filipino upper class. A powerful bar with experienced and skilled bartenders. The bar is trendy and attracts different ages. On my visit, most were between 30 and 40 years old. The cocktails I tried were presented with passion and fervor. The taste was quite sweet for me. This is an expensive bar and quite different, but definitely worth several visits.

This is not just a restaurant it’s an experience. We had some amazing drinks that came with stories and a full dramatization. The meal was delicious and the staff were so kind. They also had their own liquor lines that were made locally that were amazing. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Waiter forgot one of the items we ordered which we never ended up receiving but not a deal breaker. Overall definitely worth checking this place out. Recommend reservations.

Service is SUPERB! All their staff are friendly and nice. I just can’t explain how happy we were because you don’t get to see this often. Food selection, most especially their pica-pica, could be improved. We found ordering the same thing all throughout the night. Would appreciate wider selection. Don’t order the chicharon with egg 😅 kamote fries & the fried basket are okay. Cocktail Drinks are priced from P350-P400+, fave was whiskey sour and ube liquer (because I like my drinks sweet with a kick!), and the beers are also REALLY GOOD which are priced from P200-P250. DJ music could also be improved but overall nice vibes, we get to sing and dance our hearts out! 😊 Whenever someone orders their Creation drinks, they perform this amazing “ritual” where they showcase their barista skills to create the concoction, honestly it’s amazing! Also to note, if you want to reserve a table, there’s a P1,500 per head consumable rate on fridays and saturdays! But despite that I think you can just order anytime at the bar.

This place was absolutely incredible. From the moment you walk in you are immersed in a dimly lit and sexy atmosphere. The name is apt as this bar has the most extensive collection of spirits I’ve ever seen. I’ve had cocktails in 40+ countries and I’m a bar owner myself and I’ve got to say this might be the best bar I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, the drinks were perfect, the value proposition was spot on. If you’ve never been there I would recommend a Wednesday night, they have live music and it was electric in there all night. I can’t say enough about how extraordinary this joint is. I’ll definitely see you guys again before I leave! PS. I’m a terrible photographer but I did get a few shots!

One of my favorite spots in the city. Come for the cocktails, stay for the vibe, and come back for the live jazz! I brought many friends here and it never disappoints. It’s usually filled to the brim Fridays to weekends, so make sure you come early. Drinks are normal Poblacion price, so it’s definitely worth it.

Dark and loud bar that has several different Asian inspired drinks, each with their own story. It has a nice interior, but is quite loud and hard to see. Their wall of drinks is quite beautiful to see and at times, it can be quite busy with few seating options.

Local performers play here almost every day — there are quite a few bands. The place has a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere, with beer and local food. It's the kind of spot Metro Manila could use more of. The sound quality could be improved a bit. There’s also a designated smoking area.

A different kind of bar experience. It's a converted house in a residential neighborhood so it's like going to a house party. Always has live indie bands and different lineups every night. Can get very crowded when popular bands play but it is part of the experience.

First time to try this bar but has already been recommended by friends and i was supposed to visit them on their older location but the place was packed! Luckily this time i went and there was quite a lot of seats free! Got the mango and rice and the queen of hearts and my gosh! They were amazing!!! I never tasted cocktail this fine yet! The spice in the queen of hearts made you want to sip and sip and sip! The attentiveness and friendliness of their staff was also nice to feel.

A very friendly and calm speakeasy bar, the bartenders are approachable and friendly (shoutout to Tony, Alex, EJ and Mika!) You can go here alone and meet new people at the barstools, the customers at the bar area are open and in the same mood/headspace. Drink price is fine, the drinks are good and you can have bespoke cocktails to your liking, they also provide free snacks.

Had an amazing night at Run Rabbit Run! The vibe was perfect — cozy, artsy, and full of good energy. The cocktails were top-notch, but what really made the experience memorable was Paulo, our barista (and mixologist for the night!). He was super friendly and clearly passionate about what he does. He asked about our drink preferences and surprised us with a custom cocktail that perfectly matched what we wanted — refreshing, balanced, and beautifully presented. You can tell he really knows his craft.

Pretty cool bar with a laid-back, slightly upscale atmosphere. It wasn't that crowded when I went, but it was a weeknight and relatively early, and it started filling up as I was leaving. I can say that if you're looking for a very affordable meal and drinks with some of the best photo opportunities in Manila, this is the place.

Gives off the vibes of my past visit in Singapore The CE LA VI Rooftop Bar in Marina Bay Sands but a little bit smaller. View is good but not a lot of sights to see. Just residential rooftops and the skyline of skyscrapers of Ortigas and BGC. Cocktails are affordable and ok. Not a lot of people on that time of visit.

A little bit hard to find the entrance, it's in the ACE Suites reception, but once you're at the top floor, the views from the open sides are good, and the glass roof kept us dry with the rain. The food itself is good, larger sized portions than expected. The atmosphere is good, it was a bit quiet when we were there, because of the holiday weekend. Would recommend this place on your stay in Manila.

When we enter i ask the staff if we can sit anywhere and she said yes, but in the rooftop its not available because the sits are wet because of rain so we decided to sit on the side. But theres a group of foreigners arrived and they assisted to the rooftop area. But anyway i love the food and the ambiance of the place.

Stunning view, depending on where you're seated. We were offered the seats w/o much view because apparently, may reservations daw sa ibang seats but when my friend called in advance, wala naman daw silang reservations. We transferred naman din. :) Nevertheless, food is good. 100% recommend their sushi platter (large serving) and cocktails. Polite staff, place can get pretty busy so it might take a while to get your order/request.

Firefly Roof Deck in Makati is the definition of elegance and class. The moment you step out onto the rooftop, the view of Manila is absolutely mesmerizing—one of those sights you can’t stop admiring. The staff are courteous and attentive, the lighting is impeccable, really just an incredible experience. Everything about Firefly Roof Deck is 10 out of 10—I highly recommend it!

I had one of the most unforgettable night date in this place and its really my first time having to celebrate my birthday in here just a bit sad they don't have complimentary cake for celebrant like the other do but its fine with me still order a slice of their chocolate cake which taste really good. This place was so jazzy and chilling and even the food was a bit affordable because the taste its so worth it especially the truffle mac n' cheese that I almost take it home to enjoy it while working. For me, I wanna take multiple times back at this place. Everything from food, price, ambiance and the city view were all amazing and elegant! Staff were all kind too and absolutely serve you better.

I was lucky to get a table along the glass with a clear view of the city. Staff was very attentive to detail and did an outstanding job. The food was very tasty and the pricing was just right for the location and service offered. The drinks were mixed very well and the price was ok. Great restaurant with amazing vibes. We were served by Chera and she was great and always checked up on us accordingly. We enjoyed the food and the drinks, especially the frozen Margarita. It is on the pricier side, but good for special outings.

Amazing food. Lots of options for everyone with a clear menu and symbols with a key to accommodate multiple diets. As a vegetarian myself, I found it very easy to find options as it had a vegetarian section and also symbols next to any meal that was vegetarian also. We were here for lunch and dinner as we were staying in the hotel. Overall we had a range of food, drinks and cocktails (massive daiquiri pictured). Prices were not very expensive, especially if you are a tourist- it is a lot cheaper than back home. The atmosphere was great in the night too with a live performance all evening. Our server for dinner was Janel and she was very lovely and welcoming. Overall great experience, will definitely be returning.

Perched on the top floor of The Bayleaf Hotel, the Sky Deck offers stunning panoramic views of the city skyline. While some areas can get quite hot under the sun, these are arguably the best spots to catch the sunset. There’s also a rooftop bar one level higher that adds to the ambiance. Food & Drinks: • Beef Birria Tacos: Served with consommé and nacho chips. The concept was promising, but the meat turned out dry and the sauce was just average. The corn tacos didn’t elevate the dish much. • Shanghai Dynamite Rolls: Deep-fried spicy pork and shrimp rolls with sweet chili and garlic vinegar. Tasted more like minced pork with carrots and peppers in a crispy shell—an okay dish, but not particularly memorable. • Sizzling Bulalo: Featuring tender beef shanks, vegetables, and a bone marrow gravy. Unfortunately, the gravy was overly sweet and heavy, and the vegetables turned limp from continued sizzling. • Bayleaf Bagnet: Their house special crispy pork belly. Nicely crisped but retained a noticeable layer of fat. Served with pinakbet, which had a good mix of vegetables like okra, green beans, and peppers. • Mango Canonigo: A twist on Italian meringue with mango and a rich, sweet sauce. Visually appealing, but far too sweet overall. • Ricotta Cheesecake: A decent dessert—somewhere between a Basque cheesecake and a traditional one. Nothing standout, but pleasant enough. Drinks: • Watermelon juice was watered down. • Strawberry shake looked great but was overly sweet. Also a very limited alcohol selection with no cocktails on offer. Service: Service was slow, and all dishes were served at once, which made the experience feel rushed and less enjoyable. Value: Total bill came to around $85 USD for five people, which included five drinks and seven dishes (including two desserts). Reasonably priced, but the food and service didn’t quite meet expectations.

A popular eatery on top of the well known Bayleaf hotel. Great views of Intramuros. Popular not just for hotel guests. Service initially great but seemed to fade after we ordered. Lots of options. I recommend the Dynamite rolls and pizzas. I found the two sittings system confusing and ended up ignoring it.

We reserved online and the response was fast and polite. Pagdating namin, the staff led us straight to our requested table by the glass wall — ang ganda ng view. Service was excellent. They welcomed us, offered water, and were very attentive. We tried the Garlic Blue Marlin, Chicken & Pork Adobo, plus banana and mango shakes. The food was delicious and well-cooked, and the shakes were refreshing. The staff even offered to take photos for us — very thoughtful and friendly. We ended with their warm chocolate cake — rich, warm, and super satisfying. Overall, great experience. Masarap ang food, nice ambiance, and standout service. We'll definitely come back and recommend this place.

The very best environment with beautiful views of the city. The food was excellent. Had a couple mixed drinks and they were a little light on the alcohol but still good. The only thing was the waitress who first seated me never came back to check on me. I had to flag down two different staff to get another drink and then the bill. I still would highly recommend this place for the ambiance, relaxation, great music and wonderful food.

I had such a fantastic experience at The Filling Station! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the menu was absolutely superb — every dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. You can really tell the effort that goes into both the food and the overall dining experience. A very special shoutout to Eka and Christine for their outstanding service. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality truly elevated the experience and made it memorable. If you’re looking for a place with excellent food and top-notch service, The Filling Station is definitely worth a visit. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

The decor and vibe is very cool, full on American diner style with a pink caddy on the ceiling and lots of flare and bling around. The food (we had burgers) was absolutely nothing to rave about. Very basic and nothing special about it at all. Service was alright. Overall would recommend for some pictures and a drink or milkshake perhaps but would not come back for food.

I love the vibe. Their waffles and chicken combo will always fill me up and the quality is just superb. Big portions. You can do sharing ✨️ great place to chill especially at night when all the neon lights are on.. they also have 3 areas where you can hold events up to 70pax.

Ambiance is great, good for those IG pics. Food is a bit pricey but is worth it because of the taste and serving size. The servers are accomodating and will make sure you'll enjoy dining there. You might need reservations for weekends/peak hours.

Never thought they'd serve good food since their aesthetics is so damn great! But yes, they serve really good food to my taste buds. It's pricey which is kinda expected as they are selling the place's ambiance too. No entrance fee is collected. Just dine and go! Their milkshake cost ₱360 but it has a refill! So I feel it was not bad at all... the refill was generous!

Its your old school diner that is designed to be aesthetically pleasing. Food tastes okay and comes in large portions. We were very full after eating here. The servers are also dressed as your famous American artists such as Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley. Do not come here if you're counting calories but this is the best place to break from a diet. The music, atmosphere, food, and vibe of this place used perfect to create that American diner experience. They accept cash and gcash as payment. They also helped packed all of our leftover food.

Nice area to enjoy the nightlife. Many bars and food spots to visit. I think when in Manila, you should definitely give this area a try.

There are many nightclubs and bars along the street, as well as numerous restaurants on secondary streets, including Korean, Thai, Japanese, and Italian. The area gets busy after 9 or 10 p.m., but my gut feeling told me that the vibe started to feel unsafe after 10 or 11 p.m., so I left around 11 p.m.

Absolutely delicious. Got the popcorn chicken, which were very crunchy on the outside and juicy inside and one of the best burgers I ever had. Tasty and easy to eat, good portions. The ice cappuccino was also good. It was pricey but really worth it. The service is great, super friendly and helpful staff. I felt very comfortable there.

The food here may be flavorful and impressive for a vegan spot, but the service is a complete letdown, despite a service fee added. This place is NOT a five-star by any measure. For the record, there were only two tables actively occupied, ours and another one across ours. Staff only appeared to take and deliver our order, then vanished. No water refills, no table check-ins — nothing. I had to get up myself to find the water jug before a staff member, too busy gossiping with her friend, reluctantly stepped in. The other customer was also left unattended. I witnessed a guest walk up to the counter just to pay with his card because the staff ignored him. When we asked for the bill, the server dropped it off and disappeared again. It took forever to track someone down to settle the payment. It’s a shame — the food was ok, but the service is shockingly poor, even with the 10% service fee added. Come here for the dishes, but expect to be frustrated by the staff.

it was my first time having full plant based meals. i was with my co workers when we visited. kind of pricy but worth every penny, i think, given that its not easy to prepare such meals 🙂 staffs are very welcoming too. will definitely visit again.

Love your wide selection of menu! We had a quick overnight stay at Makati and before heading back, we decided to try this restaurant. Hope you could add photos to your menu so that customers can visualize the food before ordering, but nevertheless, food is good good! 💯 would recommend, even non vegan can enjoy!

I’m a big fan of Green Bar and consider myself a regular. I’m a vegan and this is my favorite restaurant in Metro Manila. Their pastries, especially the donuts, are always good, and the staff are friendly. Prices have been going up, which is understandable because of their location but still a bit disappointing :(. The lighting is dim at times, which is probably part of their aesthetic but not my preference. This is why I gave the atmosphere 4 stars. I enjoy all their food and drinks and highly recommend the Nacho Fries, Gyro Fries, Chickpea Omelette, Sausage Egg Muffin, Rice and Shine, BBQ Seitan Bowl… aahh so hard to choose! I just love eating there :)

Great vegan & vegetarian food in Makati, glad I found this one. I go out of my way to go to this restaurant every week as they have tasty food - tacos and salads are filling. Wide Breakfast options (like their spin off a McMuffin), pastries aren’t that sweet, and they have smoothies and other drinks too. Staff are really kind too. I highly recommend!

"Antidote" is a bar located in the high-rise building of I'M Hotel in Makati Avenue cor. Kalayaan Avenue in Makati City. To access the area, you need to inform the guard to enter the parking area in case you have the vehicle or if visiting in-person via commute, a help desk in the lobby is sufficient. The parking fee of I'M hotel is expensive, which is P100 per 2 hours, and P100 for the succeeding hours. The elevator is separate for the parking area and those coming from the lobby. AMBIENCE: If you are thrill-lovers, getting to the elevator is like a roller coaster ride when ascending upwards, as the roof top is on the 35th floor. Press RD on the elevator button to reach Antidote bar. At the RD level, you will first arrive at the bar lobby with a jellyfish aquarium on the wall. You can easily view them on the opposite side, at the deck used as a designated smoking area. You can proceed to their mezzanine beside the Frangipani flower trees and a garden covering the scary-looking but astonishing view of the heights. There is a toilet with a tempered glass wall that you can easily view the heights of the hotel. Those suffering from acrophobia can not urinate properly while glancing the landscape of Makati City, but there are other alternate toilets beside the dining area. The "Antidote" has an open environment, al fresco dine-in area in the mezzanine, overlooking the sky. Since it was an open sky, they are open from 5 pm of the current day till 5 am the next day. The height of I'M Hotel where "Antidote" bar is located is higher than the building of the Banco de Oro or BDO, a bank headquarters. You can enjoy the thrill of watching the Makati landscape or watch the clear night sky above you as a zenith reference point. FOOD and BEVERAGE: Most of the diners are foreign US and European nationals, some married to a Filipina. In the middle of the mezzanine are bartenders and the cashiering area. Their menus are mostly expensive wines and liquors (I'm not alcoholic drinker), and they also served an appetisers and pizza. I take a spinach and artichoke pizza as my meal. I do not think the pizza is best for me this Neapolitan-style pizza has a burnt crust even cooked in a stick oven. Thus, I rate this pizza a 3 star only. I enjoy most of the view than food, even I experience the trembling sensation of looking above the heights.

Dropped by Antidote Bar for a solo just chill and decided to sit at the bar. My server, Prince (I saw his name on his plate), didn’t introduce himself, but he was very accommodating. He politely asked what I’d like to drink and offered cocktails or shots. I requested a glass of wine, but since they don’t serve wine by the glass, I went for a bottle instead. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. I even asked if I could charge my phone, and they tried their best to help me out. Great ambiance, good service, and a relaxing vibe overall. Definitely a nice spot to unwind.

The view that Antidote had to offer was absolutely breathtaking! The drinks tasted fantastic and was even more enjoyable while taking in the view of Metro Manila. The vibes were immaculate, the music setting the atmosphere for the bar was well-selected, and the jellyfish exhibits were a nice touch before going up the rooftop deck. At one point, it seemlessly switched to a live performer, who was very impressive in their own right. Overall, we're glad to have found this amazing bar, and would go again if given the chance, with more people and a bigger appetite for drinks (I wish I got to drink more).

They built a nice rooftop bar but as soon as I wanted to take pictures with my camera I got tolf that is against the policy. Also they advertised with toilets with a great view but you’re not allowed to use them and they keep them locked at all times. Weird place, weird employees and weird atmosphere. Constantly watching me and my friend aftwe we were taking pictures.

Nice roof top bar let down by a couple of things. Music is super loud for what it is, too loud to talk to each other.the staff were very friendly when you could get their attention often preferring to congregate amongst themselves. View is nice though.

I enjoy the almost American bar atmosphere, I don't have to wait for a server to get my drink, sometimes the bartender takes my drink order. Fabulous brunch which they are proud of. Afternoon atmosphere is super chill. Give it a try!

One of the best places I've been at. They are serving generous amount thats worthy off the price you payed. Drinks could be a bit expensive as they do not offer liquors in bottles except for beer and such.

Fun place! During the day there is a The Filipino Buffet that very affordable, just around 400 pesos. It’s of basic Pinoy dishes, and pretty acceptable on padre Faura street walking distance to Robinsons place manila. Eat all you can in the afternoon and Party 🎉 all you can in the nights! 😋😋😋😋

An attractive looking bar with OK live music. Beer (Pilsen) was P120 rather than the usual P100 so a little expensive. Service best described as appalling, lethargic and slow. Sat at bar and after 15 mins had not been able to order anything. Eventually had to shout at staff which was rude but the only way to get a beer. Place was busy but not packed. Requested a menu but this never arrived. Eventually, another customer took pity on me and fetched one somehow in a few seconds. Decided food would probably take a few years to arrive so went elsewhere to eat so cannot comment on food quality but it looked expensive. This could be a good bar but desperately needs a professional manager to address the ghastly service which, smply put, was unacceptable.

We were really looking forward to trying Cosmic after seeing so many rave reviews and social media posts, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. It was hard to find, and the lack of signage didn’t help. When we arrived, the atmosphere felt cold — the staff were efficient, but not particularly welcoming or friendly. The menus were tattered and in need of replacing, which didn’t set a great tone. As for the food, it was hit or miss. The tocina was the highlight — flavorful and well done — but most of the other dishes were overly greasy and lacked seasoning, even the garlic rice. The sisig was especially tough and disappointingly bland. While we respect their commitment to plant-based fare, the execution just wasn’t there. It’s a shame — Cosmic had been high on our list, but both the service and the food left us underwhelmed.

Great food! Loved everything we ordered! You wouldn't tell at all that the Kare-Kare Bagnet and Bagnet Sisig were vegan; great for those new to vegan dishes. Nice wooden tables and very boho-chic vibe.

This was my first time eating at a vegan restaurant, and I was genuinely impressed. If you were to do a blind taste test, you probably wouldn’t even be able to tell the dishes were vegan—they really nailed the flavors and textures. Everything we tried hit the spot and tasted just like their meat-based counterparts. The atmosphere was alright—not particularly aesthetic if you’re looking to take cute photos, but the food was very well presented. The staff were friendly and attentive; we didn’t even have to ask for water because they kept checking in.

Your best chance as a vegan to try traditional Phillipino foods. It won't disappoint! Edit: thank you Cosmic! I returned again to sample more wares. This is my favorite place to eat in Manila! Excellent vegan food. Mocktails are a little too sweet for me however I'm sure they will adjust if asked. The only downside is that the stools look good but are really uncomfortable.

Cosmic is a vegan restaurant that puts the spotlight on Filipino food. If you’re vegan (I’m vegetarian btw but when in Rome!) and Filipino, or just love Filipino flavors, Cosmic is a must try! It’s one of the best restaurants in Makati and Manila, and one of my personal favorites in the entire world (; The Isaw is smoky, tangy, a little sweet, a little spicy, and perfectly balanced. Then there’s the sisig, my absolute favorite! Traditionally made with pig cheek, Cosmic recreates it with pea protein or tofu, mixed with onions, garlic, citrus, and just a hint of soy and vegan fish sauce. It’s tangy, salty, spicy, and absolutely to die for. If you try one thing, make it the sisig! Another must-try is the mushroom sinigang. A classic tamarind sour soup, filled with bok choy, taro, tomato, and mushrooms. It’s rich yet thin, refreshing yet tangy, and one of the best vegan soups I’ve ever had! The lumpiang and siomai are good, though a little dense, please have the cooks go try vegetarian lumpiang at Firefly City Garden Grand to try and replicate this best vegetarian lumpiang I’ve ever tasted. The service at Cosmic is excellent with friendly awesome staff, and the Makati location is convenient. Overall, Cosmic is an amazing experience and easily one of the top vegan restaurants in the city.

It's a night before a holiday, and this bar is haunted—literally only 3 tablets there. However, the staff and musicians still kept up a good work, and we did enjoy our visit. The drinks and food are quite good with a okay price that comes with the rooftop view and chill vibe.

Had an amazing time at Vu’s Sky Bar and Lounge in Marco Polo Ortigas! The ambiance was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the city skyline that made for a perfect night out. The mix of live music and the relaxing rooftop vibe created a fantastic atmosphere. The gastro cocktails were top-notch. A special shoutout to Lynn, who provided outstanding service! She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her warm and welcoming attitude really made our night even more special. If you're looking for a great rooftop spot with excellent service, delicious food, and stunning views, Vu’s is definitely the place to be. Highly recommended!

Such a memorable night! The staff were incredibly accommodating — even though only bar tables were available when I contacted for a reservation, they still went out of their way to get us a table. It made the evening feel extra special. They even surprised my girlfriend with a complimentary ice cream for her birthday, which truly made her smile. The food was just as amazing — every bite felt like our taste buds were discovering new flavors together. Warm people, great food, and the perfect atmosphere for a celebration. Food was really good! The flavors worked well together, especially their tapa. The serving was generous. Their salted egg hummus was something different, it tasted light and very healthy. The Butterscotch Latte was perfect, too. Place is very ambient and cozy, not too noisy.

My friend took me to this restaurant for dinner tonight, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The meat simply melts in your mouth. We tried their beef lechon toast, lamb pares, and pork kare-curry and they all had exquisite flavors. The ambiance was so peaceful as we were the first customers to dine in for dinner. I would love to try their other food on their menu on my next visit!

1st time to visit and eat at this resto. They did not disappoint. I had the tuna tartare and the pork kare-curry with red sangria. Crowd was good and the piped in music nice and not too load. JV was very friendly and accommodating. The chefs Jomina and Joker prepared the food well and to my dining pleasure. Will recommend this place to others to check out and enjoy.

Love the twists on foods! Personal fave is the Pork Kare Curry, the combination of Japanese Curry and Kare Kare works so well. The ambiance is nice and cozy and the staff were very attentive and were very nice. We were assisted by Sir JayJay. Food was stellar, as expected of any Margarita Fores resto. My family loved everything except for the lechon--it was just fine. I highly recommend the Blue Crab spaghettini and the Muscovado Beef Belly. However, service could be better. We were seated at the upstairs area facing the window, and it was hard to call our servers attention. A few times, we had to repeat our requests for extra cutlery. Also, the batchoy ramen took almost 40 minutes to arrive. By then, my 7 year old niece was quite hangry. And even though my reservation mentioned that I was there to celebrate my birthday, the staff didn't seem to notice--which was awkward since they sang for the other tables about 4 separate times... LOL. Even my family was urging me to let them know, but by then I was a bit annoyed. Now yes, the place was busy. But I still expected better service considering our 5 digit bill. Next time, I'm going with a smaller group and sitting at the common area. Maybe we'll be served better then.

We had lunch at Grace Park and my family truly enjoyed the food and dessert. Our favorites are the lechon negros and the muscovado belly. Kare-kare was also great, it comes with alamang and bagoong fish. For dessert, we had the the tres leches cake and the chocolate lava with pastillas. The latter was super good, we wished thought it comes with a stick bread that you can dip in to the choco lava. Our server Tina was also super warm and friendly! We will be back, absolutely!

Eli was a great, attentive, and hospitable server. His recommendation for the Caesar salad was good. However, the food was honestly mediocre. Super oily, lacking flavor, nothing special. The scallops are small but they told us beforehand and mentioned they increased the quantity because of the size. My problem was with the flavor (or lack thereof). It wasn’t terrible but I probably won’t eat here again.

Had a wonderful meal at Grace Park! We tried the longanisa breakfast, muscovado belly, and the squash flower appetizer that are all flavorful and beautifully prepared. The squash flower dish was especially interesting and unique. As a big fan of iced tea, I loved that they served Ivatan iced tea such a refreshing treat! Great food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Can’t wait to come back 🙂

The restaurant prides itself with their delicious take on Filipino dishes, and they definitely did not disappoint. Food was definitely amazing, with the Penne with Ilonggo Chorizo Cream being the clear standout among what we ordered. The steak, was seasoned just right which allows one to enjoy either the gravy or cheese sauce that comes along with it. But a sprinkle of salt goes a long way. Moreover, getting that 500g cut for a fraction of a price compared to other steak houses is a great deal. The Filipino in me went for the Laing because i’ve heard amazing stuff about it, and it did not disappoint. Kudos to Tina for the great experience. Will definitely be back.

Went for dinner last night and we loved it! It was a chill, uncomplicated, and very satisfying dinner. Both of our entrées were delicious, however, I really didn’t care for the cuatro leches cake. I thought it was too dense and not really sweet but my boyfriend liked it. Lastly, our waiter Elli was lovely. Super attentive, friendly and sweet.

The food was so delicious and the atmosphere of the entire store is so cozy. Our server Gab was so nice and welcoming! She took care of us the entire time we were there and was always so kind. Thank you so much Grace Park!

My wife, friend and I went to this amazing restaurant yesterday. I have to say this place was REALLY delicious!! First it has a very nice atmosphere and a long sit down bar. All 3 of the ladies working there were so friendly and accommodating. It took a little longer than usual to get our food because there was a really large group of 20+ people having a party, but trust me it was worth the wait. I ordered the Double Cheeseburger and fries. I will be very honest, it was by far the best burger I have ever eaten in the Philippines. In fact it was as good if not better than any burger I have eaten in the US. My wife had the Hungarian Sausage and she loved it. But it was that Cheeseburger that won the day. She also had chicken isaw, which they barbecue just in front of the restaurant. She told me it was super good. (I can't tell you myself, because I don't really like this food) As we were finishing up our food, the owner of the establishment, Ben, came over and was nice enough to have a conversation with us. What a nice and personable man. Take my word for it, this place needs to at the top of your list of places to go and eat if you are in Manila. Especially us Americans who find it nearly impossible to find a good hamburger in the Philippines. I wish I had photos to share, but we were more interested in eating that photo's.

This has been a favorite watering hole of my childhood (male) friends for years. I’m glad I was finally able to join them. The place is cozy, unpretentious, and welcoming. Food is simple yet good, though most of the dishes on their menu were not available that evening. Crowd is a good mix of locals and foreigners. I like how relaxed the place is. Now I understand why my friends love the place.

An excellent bar in the heart of Manila, the Oarhouse is one of those old-school jaunts frequented by both the young and the young-at-heart alike. Visiting patrons will be drawn to it's wooden furniture, marble-top bar, and it's lovingly-tended feel complete with actual oars for decor, making you feel right at home with the friendly service and great pub fare. Not a place to be missed whether you're in the city for a long time or just passing through.

One of the few remnants of old Malate, this cozy little pub still has its charm, with good grub, interesting patrons, and affordable drinks. They continue to serve cocktails by the pitcher, but now there’s also a selection of craft beers. The pulutan, like sisig and kinilaw, are reliably tasty. 2025 update: Half of the cocktail pitchers are out of stock, including my favorite mango daiquiri (sigh), but I did enjoy both the nachos and the tuna sisig. Prices are definitely creeping up, though—inflation is hitting hard

Glad I decided to pop in here a few days ago, amazing and friendly staff. The food is top-tier at very affordable prices, will be here regularly during my trip to try and have all the popular dishes on the menu! One of the few safe havens in the area as a foreigner where you’re not getting pressured or propositioned to come inside, their reputation speaks for itself in the food they provide and how they treat you. Highly recommend!

I checked the reviews and I ended up visiting Oarhouse. It probably was a good decision! I loved the staff. They were extremely friendly and since most of them speak Bisaya, I was able to connect with them easily. Strike up a conversation with the staff! The prices are relatively cheap considering the portion sizes. I love their schnitzel and sisig. You don't need to drink here. You can just drop by for dinner. They offer cocktails and if you are in a group, the pitcher would be the best choice. WORTH MULTIPLE VISITS. And the isaw baboy is great!

The must visit speak easy bar in Manila. No other than the late great Anthony Bourdain visited this place for a booze. Been here for a number of times and the Nachos and Chicharon Bulaklak is what I recommend. Beers always below zero cold. Owner, staff and the people inside very accommodating..that's the atmosphere.

Very raw and lowkey interior setup, and as my companion said, "it's not aesthetic". But hey, you come in here for high quality service and cocktails. Definitely not watered down so I like that it's gimmicky, but at the same time, alcohol-forward. The staff are really nice too (not a first timer here btw). Shoutout to Erika for being so nice by giving us free shots and other stuff. Probably the only time I will give this a perfect score is when there's a snack menu. Yes, they give you free nuts and refills, but still, bar food is the way to go for proper cocktail pairing.

The drinks are average but consistently reliable, with strong customer appeal. What truly stands out, however, is the service. Every staff member is friendly, introduces themselves by name, and even offers a handshake. Weekend music selections were also excellent. The interior is very simple, yet it’s easy to see why this brand is so popular.

The servers were absolutely hospitable. As soon as we stepped in, we were offered somewhere to seat and just a few minutes later, our server (Ben) took his time to introduce their entire menu to us. They offer customized drinks as well. The place was big enough that it won't feel too crowded and you have space to talk intimately with whoever you're with. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to just chill while drinking.

We learnt about this place from a blog. It’s a rare unique mixology bar with highest quality of mastering the cocktail mixing. Kiko and others are increasingly crafty with their skills and I wish them many years to come

Went here with my boyfriend on a Friday night and it was pretty packed but still had a cozy and intimate vibe. The service is great and the waiters were incredibly attentive and helpful. We ordered cocktails and the Pandesal was my favourite, it was their own take on the classic espresso martini and it was a 10/10 for me. You can even order off the menu which we appreciated so much! Would go back here again.

Coffee is really good. Breakfast is really sulit. The shake is shake o what o is perfect to my taste.

We searched craft beer and found this little gem. Great selection of beer and whilst not sure about vegan really enjoyed the food. Helpful staff and even friendly locals. My partner was extremely apprehensive of coming here when I said the food was vegetarian. Lo and behold, he loved the food and couldn’t get enough of it. The sisig was 💯. Fries were good but could’ve been better with better quality fries — perhaps thinner/ crispier fries wirh skin? Take me to your leader was our favorite beer (hits you with a taste of scotch at the end). If you want something non-alcoholic, the fizzo was AMAZING. Definitely coming back to taste more of the menu!

My husband's friends used to come here often. We visited here for the first time today. All of their staff is friendly and nice. I ordered Professor's Brew and Tropic Haze. I'm not a beer enthusiast so I didn't know that IPA beers typically taste bitter compared to others. You can ask their bar attendants about their items. They gave us amazing recommendations too.

A great small brewery located in Makati CBD area. Great ales on tap all produced in house and very reasonably priced. The happy hour which is extended has great pricing for the tap beers as well. I really enjoyed the tap beers here, the selection of Ales is excellent. Also the brewery serves plant based food only which is a great choice. I had the Sisig and the spring rolls, both were delicious. The nachos which I ordered on my 2nd visit could have been better. Overall a great option for craft brews, not crowded at all the two times I visited.

My favorite spot to hangout in Makati. Friendly bartenders and really good craft beers. Try out their citrus radler and white IPA! They also have board games so my friends had a great time here.

Had some food and drinks after work a few months back. The atmosphere is good and relaxing, not too busy as it was a weekday. I even chilled in the "smoking room" with some cigars and whisky. The meals we ordered I would rate as average.

Went here with some coworkers for lunch and ordered their cheesy beef caldereta (P415.00 incl. service charge). I liked the taste of the caldereta and the meat was tender. However, I think the cheese wasn't as prominent as I would have wanted and the price a little higher than I'd like. This would probably be P250-350 outside the business district. It's a 3.5/5 for me. Service was reasonably fast and attentive. The restaurant was clean (though I did not go to the restroom) and cool, but a bit dark as expected from a sports bar. This isn't one of those instances where a place looks different in the day vs the night. There are a couple more dishes in their lunch menu and I'll probably go and try them again, I'll just have to wait a little while longer (and save more) before going again.

Hosting weekly events is an interesting touch. However, the drinks are slightly more expensive compared to other bars of the same class in the area, and the highball portion is smaller, which is disappointing.

Went there with my business partner to celebrate a small win. The staff were not courteous at all and looked like they werent interested in having a customer at 4pm ish. We went into the bar and ordered for a bottle of Jameson however didnt come with any complementary water or nuts to munch on. Ordered pasta and hungarian sausage (sizzling plate). Pasta was average and very oily and I believe I added extra pounds haha. The amosphere is great, the lighting and the bar. I feel they need to increase the height of the bar stool. Felt a little low. Otherwise a good place to hang out between meetings or for a quick catch up.

They serve the best lycheetini and their lemon drops are deadly. The place is a bit old, but cozy. Their couches need "housekeeping" cause they smell a bit. But the food is great and the staff are friendly and very flexible with the orders.

A good place to chill and have a starter drink with friends before going to Poblacion for night party😅. The bar side is so narrow, that's where you can smoke. That small area where the logo is, is the area where DJs play their music.

Went here right after having dinner at Friends & Family. Got our bill transferred here since iisa lang ang owner. Mushroom is good but the portion is small. Pero the best dito ang Sizzling Sisig Cheese Fries 🤤 esp if paired with their cocktails that you'd be tempted to try 'cause it looks so nice on the menu. Didn't disappoint as well. Too bad the Calamares ain't available. Nice place to chill with friends 👍

Great selection of unique cocktails that pay tribute to the bountiful and delicious Filipino cuisine. Their happy hour is one of the best in high street. The Calamansi cocktail was our favourite.

Excellent food!! Menu is quite big and the serving sizes are plenty. Ordered lechon baboy, sinigang na salmon, and tinapa rice IIRC. All were very tasty and served hot. The one thing I think they should improve on though is service. The staff aren’t very attentive and they take way too long to tend to customers. At the end of the meal, I was gonna pay by card and I had to wait for 20-30 minutes just for them to bring the card reader. Waiting in itself is fine but if it’s going to take long, good customer service means you set expectations with your customers so they don’t get frustrated.

First time at Kampai and it did not disappoint! We came right when they opened at 6pm—perfect timing because it was quiet and we really got to soak in the interiors, the feels, and the overall vibe. Definitely one of the best hidden gems in Poblacion. Highly recommend trying: - Kampai Steak Rice – Steak Fillet, Steak Rice, Sous Vide Egg, served with Miso Soup (₱550) - Arabiki Sausage Omucurry – Japanese Sausage, Japanese Egg, Curry Sauce, Kimchi, Chili Oil, also with Miso Soup (₱500) Both dishes were spot on, flavorful, and very comforting. Also loved their signature cocktails—great mix to pair with the food. A solid spot I’ll definitely come back to.

Went here one night in Poblacion and it was packed — the line was pretty long, especially going upstairs. The crowd’s mostly young and energetic, and the vibe was great. The DJ and music were on point that night — definitely a fun spot if you’re into lively scenes and good beats. 🎶🍸

Went here on saturday, super crowded. Mga 10pm when we arrived and meron pang vacant seats but naka reserved na huhu. So if weekend, make sure mag pa reserve muna before coming para makaupo waaah. Twas a fun experience tho. If you like dancing, huhu medyo dry ung crowd. 😭 i mean compare sa disturbia etc. Their amaretto sour was soooooo good!!! Will come back here for that!

A bit better than the rest of Pobla. Food was okay. Can't really comment as we were already a bit intoxicated from the last bar. Drinks here were on the weaker side and we found ourselves sobering up on their cocktails. If you want value for money in terms of getting drunk, just order bottles of sake.

Tipple and Slaw is located in the Pop Up at Katipunan. The atmosphere is lively with music and lots of other restaurants and bars. The restaurant is located on by the entrance and has a nice spot if you want a little privacy. The outdoor seating is nice or you can choose indoor seating on the main level. They also have an upstairs that is used for DJ and dancing. The menu is more upscale than most restaurants in the pop up, but the food is a good value for the money. The service is quick and friendly. Our sever, a women, was so nice and helpful. She told us about the popular dishes and also about the restaurant. We had a fried chicken and rice dish and the Chicken rice shawarma, both excellent. The menu had so many great options that we will have to come back again. We wish they had some more vegetables or vegetarian options. Overall a great place with solid food.

Their Shawarma Rice is a must-try and considered the best in the metro. The baby squid and crispy sisig are also delicious. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance and a second floor for partying. Cocktails and coffee weren't half bad, and the chicken and potatoes were a generous serving. Would come back for sure. They blasted music a little too loud for my liking though given that there was still a lot of daylight. And the entrance is a little confusing since 1 of 2 doors weren't functioning.

Had our FDO9 (Funatucs Day out 9) at this resto bar food served is steak and chicken and both are good. Place is nice to hangout, have adrink and have some fun. Even having 200+pax their staff did a great job. Highly recommended for parties and events. FUNKO POWER! FUNKO FUNATIC PHILIPPINES!

The French fries and chicken didn’t taste good. The fries were raw, and the chicken tasted just crispy. The beer was cold, and the service was good. However, the place was old and worn-out, and I didn’t enjoy it at all.

"Hidden Bar" that is worth going if ever you choose to grab a beer and eat food at a good price also there would be entertainment like live performances or open mics....before going the bar, there is a small stall at the entrance of the street that sells pares, bulalo and lugaw so if ever you want to remove some buzz after drinking you can eat there....definitely worth going to this place

So far the hostel seems good, but one problem. After you book/pay, they tell you that you have to give a cash deposit, which would be ok but if you don’t have any cash with you, that’s a problem because they don’t take credit card and they don’t let you check in if you don’t pay. I offered a card and other currency money, but they wouldn’t take it. They asked for my ID and are keeping it at the moment, I complaint and they said I signed a small letter in the check in that I would let me ID if I don’t have cash. Anyways, I would have prefer to leave, also because the guy was rude at the end, but I stayed because I didn’t have elsewhere to go + they have my ID. Is it legal?

I enjoyed my stay here. Nice location in Poblacion, friendly staff, free cocktail on the rooftop bar, lots of daily activities that you can join, comfy beds, and amazing breakfast! I'll definitely choose them again. Highly recommended.

I stayed here at their dorm type room in a very competitive price. The room was basic with double deck beds and lockers for you to use but you need to bring your own padlock. Toilet was cleaned daily with heater and tissues. It is near to restaurants, supermarkets and night clubs. Most of the people who stays here are travellers and backpackers. They serve free breakfast/ cocktails at night and even videoke for socialization and to kill the boredom. :)

Pros : It's in the middle of the Makati area, accessible to bars, nightlife life etc. Along with accommodation, it has several options for guests. It has a dance floor on the ground floor and, karaoke bar on the terrace. Every evening, they conduct city walks for free. It has an in-house restaurant with good options. Morning breakfast is also good. It's a continental breakfast. There is an ATM inside the property, which is very convenient. Currency exchange is a little far. Cons : Sometimes the music will be loud. Especially on the weekends, it disturbed my sleep, and I was disappointed with that; otherwise, everything is good. There are no Indian restaurants nearby, I need to walk for 15 minutes every day to have lunch or dinner.

This place is like my 2nd home whenever I come to manila. I have stayed at their dorm and private rooms and both are pretty neat. They serve varieties of breakfast and it’s always good! Many spots to hang out to, their cafe, gaming room, roof and sundeck with bar and fun activities like beer pong and ktv so if you ever get bored in your room, you’ll have places to go within the building. Really nice staff and volunteers btw especially the bar staff, Kyah Miguel and Jonard always get my drink right and they pay attention to my orders so I never have to wait that long so shout out to them! 😉

Exactly what I expected for a one night stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff and tasty breakfast. Keep in mind it is a bit of a party hostel, so DJ music on roof goes pretty late sometimes until 3am.

Great place to stay one night. It's my third time in the philippines but my first hostel I've stayed in here in manila I belive. For what I paif, im plesently surprised. The only real problem was the outlet in the room being loose and not working properly, smaller than expected room, the locstion being a little risky and the slightly outdsted bathroom. However, the locstion was also good, as there were plenty of food options snd close to everything. Just watch your belongings type thing. Room wss quiet and had ac. Loved the rooftop bar, included breakfast, walking tour and karaoke. Even though I preferred a private room, I realize I didnt make a bad choice on a nonrefundable accommodation. As a 24 yo solo male traveler from thr us, I would recommend staying here if looking for a good hostel.

10/02/25. Balikbayan Despedida/Send Off in the Sky. Our friend from France was in town so called up the group for a get together. GOOD: 1. BGC's highest rooftop bar vantage point with sweeping views of both verdant green open spaces contrasted by modern towering skyline. Best to visit during dusk to evening to witness the changing hue of BGC. 2. Servers were quick and ready to serve without being intrusive. 3. Food came in generous servings although taste was just ok. COULD BE IMPROVED: 1. With their menu priced at hotel levels, they should also offer service water which most of the hotels have so only ⭐⭐⭐ for food. Specially since diners have ordered starter drinks and cocktails before the meal. Go here for the view. If you want a better bang for your buck including service water, try Seda BGC's Straight Up roofdeck bar.

The place was nicely cool - thank goodness for the clear night after a rainy day. But of course the fans helped a lot. The DJ wasn’t bad - clearly a fan of Pink. LOL. But the music as bit too loud for people my age I think. We could still talk but we had to kinda shout to do it…. the food was okay. liked the sliders very much. But the drinks lacked a punch and a few more ounces for their price ;) … the best part was of course the view! would come back to this place just for that! ❤️

*FYI O2 Cafe and Rooftop are different establishments! We ate O2 Cafe at the rooftop bar for lunch, and for the eatigo discount only the O2 cafe food is included (not including drinks). The food was okay, american breakfast and salad was good, but the Sinigang felt lacking. For a cafe, they oddly didn't serve lattes. When the bill came, the salad was twice the price in the menu. I was able to spot it and cashier changed the price and offered a dessert on the house. The view of the Manila American Cemetery was beautiful but somber.

We reserved a table here because we were looking for a brunch spot, and luckily it was on 50% off via Eatigo. From the entrance, the place felt quite secure since the guard even asked if we had a reservation before letting us in. The café is on the rooftop of a condo building, and even though we weren’t checked in as guests, we were allowed up. When we arrived, there weren’t any other diners, which was nice and peaceful. They gave us only one menu to share among five people, though, which was a bit inconvenient. There’s also a service fee, but technically you have to go to the counter to order—though they do bring the food to your table afterward. The place was quiet, facing the condo pool, and the rooftop ambiance with the landscape view was definitely a vibe. As for the food, it was a bit underwhelming. The adobo was bland, same with the chicken peri-peri, and neither came with any dipping sauce. The tapa did come with a sauce, but it looked and tasted more like tocino. On the positive side, the salad portions were generous, and the mango shake was delicious. Overall, it’s a nice, quiet rooftop spot for the ambiance and the drinks, but the food still has room for improvement. Worth a try if you’re nearby and just want a chill place to hang out.

This place is very nicely decorated. It makes you feel more like in a party get together than a bar just to drink and laugh. Music volume is set to just right. Foods and drinks are priced on average. A bucket of beer(7) plus viand costs around 599. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

I recently visited this branch with a couple of friends. The place is great. It's always packed with people but if you can get a table outside, it will be a much better experience. Though getting one inside is also a nice experience as well. The food here is really delicious and priced just right. They also offer free WiFi connections to costumers.

The ambiance is perfect. Restrooms are also clean. You can chill out with your friends here. I recommend this place when you want to meet new people. Cocktail drinks are 💣🤤.

As an avid goer to Yes Please, one thing that hasn’t changed in the past three years I’ve been coming here is how the staff consistently goes above and beyond. They don’t just treat you like a customer — they treat you like family. That’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back, aside from the amazing ambiance and vibrant nightlife. Special shout-out to Rhea and Ram — they always bring the best energy and take such great care of us every single time. Our experience at Yes Please at The Palace was very memorable. We had a great time and found the place highly recommendable. From the entrance, security checks ensure safety, and the friendly crew made us feel welcome. The bartenders were exceptional, providing great service and adding to our positive experience. The bathrooms were clean and tidy, which we appreciated. It's important to reserve a spot before you go, as the venue can get busy. Been here more than 3x already with my friends. All the staff/bartenders are accommodating and nice. You can just chill and mind your own business or dance the night away especially if they have events. I love the coziness here while I’m doing tita vibes on a Sunday night. My favorite among their food is the Steak Rice (chef’s kiss) and Buffalo Chicken Chops. For the drinks, I’d say it’s Pretty Woman, Seoul Station and Red Bull Vodka (and of course, never will not order Jose Cuervo!) 🫣

We found this place on the way to a restaurant for dinner and we decided to visit after dinner. Liked the vibe, liked the drinks, especially The Velvet Underground. Their staff is superb, and I appreciate how they presented the drinks. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻👍🏻

The drink combinations didn’t suit my taste. Each of the specialty cocktails seemed to have clashing flavors that interfered with one another.

Fun night club experience, people mostly come pouring in around 10pm though be sure to get there early to get a table/couch. Small damce area and usually packed but the music is fire and lit. RnB jams with pop songs thrown in the mix. Be prepared to get a picture as there's a photographer that posts pics on their fb page on the party area. Cool and relaxing chill vibe with al fresco sitting, the food was okay (snacks) but the drinks were good too. They offer a variety of drinks and cocktails with sets for the group. the servers were quick to dish out used plates and glasses and trash and also refill ice buckets. No door charge (during that time and usually i think) and be prepared for the line in the building bathroom.

Sanctuary Poblacion is our go-to spot whenever we're out. The vibe here is always on point — whether you’re looking to start the night chill with drinks and conversation or stay late when the music and crowd pick up. Huge shout-out to Jane, who always takes amazing care of us. She’s very attentive, and genuinely makes every visit feel special. The cocktails are solid, the music is consistently good, and the space has a nice mix of indoor energy and outdoor chill. It does get busy on weekends, so come early if you want a good table or get a reservation. All in all, it’s one of the few places in Poblacion that hits the sweet spot — great drinks, good people, and a consistently fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing time at this club! I went there last night with my friends and the place didn't disappoint. It’s the perfect spot to party and have fun. The crowd was lively, and the food and drinks were good, especially considering the price. What really stood out was the service, big shoutout to Sir Carlo, who's very jolly and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back.

We visited this bar on a Friday night, and it was absolutely packed — clearly a popular spot! The crowd was mostly locals, which gave it a welcoming and authentic vibe. The music was fantastic and really added to the energy of the place. We loved the food and drinks — everything was flavorful and came out quickly once the order was placed. However, it was a bit difficult to get the attention of the waitstaff initially, which made ordering a bit frustrating. We’d recommend this bar for its vibrant atmosphere, great music, and delicious food. Just be prepared for a busy night and a bit of patience when it comes to service.

This bar is the best spot in Poblacion. It’s a good place with great music, and the staff are very nice. Our waiter, Carlo, is always accommodating and gives us the best service he can offer. He makes our party easier since our orders are served quickly. This is the only place in Poblacion that my friends and I keep coming back to.

I like how this place is somehow reminiscent of the humble stalls in Tokyo, from the decor to the ambiance. It’s packed with people, so you could be highly engaged to eat in the middle of a hyped crowd. One of our orders is the Japanese curry. We find the sauce too buttery, albeit yummy still. The tofu is phenomenal! 5 stars go to the crew! They are attentive, friendly, engaging, and oh so nice. Prolly my favorite set of crew in BGC so far.

Stumbled onto the restaurant by accident: mistook their lavatory for a public facility. Decided to order since I was in the premises anyway. The curry udon and the spicy veggie gyoza were excellent. The serving size of the udon was deceptively small but was so savory and filling. The gyoza plate was definitely for sharing. Service water is NOT served but they sell mineral water. Opted to dine alone on the upper bar floor that was had garishly red lighting and really loud music so be forewarned: not the best place to 'maritess'

Great food. I ordered the poke bowl, aron ordered the pork belly curry, alex and koji ordered yakitori. Then a side dish of chicken skin. All of which tastes good. Staff were good… and attentive. Place was a bit dark for me… but i guess it is for people who drinks.

The highball experience was very near to what you would experience on drinking pubs in Japan. As you enter the ground floor a very familiar vibe would greet you if you have been to Japan. Would recommend their passion fruite as well as the ginger highball. The JimBean highball was too strong for our liking. Food was okay as well for its izakaya food type offering. There was also promo on jimbean highball buy1take1. Would recommend if your looking for an authentic japanese drinking pub. Given the place and the vibe/environment it offers prices are a bit pricey compared to your average drinking pub. But you get what you pay for. Service was good the staff quickly tends to your needs and requests.

Service – Nel was incredibly attentive and well-versed in the food and drink selections. His recommendations made the experience even better. Food – Everything was delicious! We tried the gyoza, karaage, tantanmen, gyudon, and chicken skin — each dish was flavorful and satisfying. Atmosphere – Loved the creative effort put into the design. The interior felt like being inside a Japanese train — unique, immersive, and perfect for photos and videos.

The food and drinks were very good and served quickly. They arrived fresh and only took around a little less than 5-10 minutes. The staff were also very attentive and friendly. Sir Ace, our server, really tailored his service to the individual needs of each table he served. He matched the vibe of the group and they even gave the celebrant a free birthday shot. The atmosphere was also really well curated and cohesive. It really does look like you’re in a retro train station in Japan.

the mango habanero chicken is SO GOOD. the 4 hot sauces were also winners; we love spicy food so we enjoyed tasting and dipping everything into the 4 sauces provided! the cocktails are surprisingly strong so drink in moderation, or order more food :D

Great ambiance, very good service and delicious food. 2nd floor is a bar and ground floor has a more chill vibe. Ordered beef taco, shrimp taco, fish taco, steak and Mexican rice. And the fries- must try! Everything was tasty, delicious and presented very well. Highly recommend.

Went to Lujo to try their cocktails and its good. Ordered whisky sour, amaretto, midnight temptation, and their unmasked margarita. Enjoyed the 1st 3, but didnt enjoy the margarita. Food was great.

Favorite place to drink with my friends. Music is good and really makes you want to dance and have fun. I also love the photo booth on the first floor. Hopefully they add a toilet on the second floor tho for convenience.

Almacen is one of the best clubs in Poblacion. Drinks and food are super great. The staff are incredibly accommodating and super friendly to newcomers, frequent goers, esp to regulars. The staff makes sure that you and your belongings are safe. The music is superb and I've never had a boring night there.

Staff were very kind when my friend had too much drink. One of them even accompanied me to assist her all the way to the restroom door, while the manager fixed her hair and gave her a ponytail to use. I later asked their names outside turns out they’re Sharm and Ms. Jo. Such thoughtful service, 100/10. We’ll definitely be back almacen! .... and the mango habanero is so good!

There really ain't much to say about the place, good food, cold drinks, and chill atmosphere. Place is nice, cool, and bright, definitely the place you'd want to chill in when you're tired after work or just want to have a few drinks. Been drinking here for the past 7 years, never had any problems or any bad experiences. They've got your usual selection of beer staples with san miguel products plus a few craft beers from Pinatubo and Boondocks. They also have cocktails that can be served either in a glass or a pitcher na hindi tinipid, you can even watch them actually make it right at the bar. Food is definitely better than most other typical places you'd drink in. Common drinking pulutan like fries and onion rings are better than you'd expect but if you're gonna eat might as well just go and eat dinner too cause all of the things in their menu are definitely a must try especially if you get there on the right day when they have either baboy damo or usa. You'd want to check their social media accounts too cause they frequently have some sort of event or meets happening all the time in collaboration with different groups or The Hub just next door. If you've never heard or seen Escolta block party before, you might want to look it up.

Service was good. 👍 But please don't order their empanada if you don't like the smell of shawarma(like me) 🥺, love their chicken wings btw, so juicy. And they do have Smirnoff, so ➕➕➕ 🫶🏼

My go to bar in Manila. 🤙🏼 it is just beside Landbank-Escolta and near Sta. Cruz Church. Just along the Escolta street. Better check their place.

Cool place to hang out in after a long day walking around Chinatown or Divisoria. Not a posh lounge, but more like a homey barkada spot for some good alternative music, craft beers, and quirky fixtures. Lots of easter eggs that would be a joy for history buffs to discover.

Escolta’s gem 🍻 just a laidback bar, enough for a chill time with your buddies. Serves local brews too!

Already found my favorite craft beer joint near Chinatown of Manila. Their local brews are amazing. Having Boondocks Session Ale from Quezon. Only 140 pesos. That’s a steal deal.

Pretty nostalgic being in Lan Kwai again. It's a much bigger venue so more space to hang out with friends. Drinks are still the same with the classic fish bowl cocktails. Sad how some of the food arent being served anymore. Wouldve loved to eat some duck rice again or some noodles. Either way it was fun.

All I can say is it is the best Hong Kong quick fix in Manila! Don't leave this place without ordering the rib fingers. You'll regret it. Parking is limited although there are available slots nearby. Smoking is allowed.

I've been meaning to go to Lan Kwai for some time now, some friends have mentioned that it's just okay. A small alley leads to a narrow staircase going up to LK. It's not a huge place, maybe seating good for 20-30 pax max but it sure has the Chinatown vibes, definitely felt like I was in a different country. I like how it felt secluded, it was all dark and the red neon was the only thing illuminating the place. Food was good and cocktails were reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I almost forgot I was in Katipunan until flocks of university students started coming in and ordering cocktails at 2pm. I suddenly miss college days. And they serve really good Hong Kong style dishes too. 😂

Great coffee with a variety of mixes to choose from. You also have the choice of staying downstairs for a warmly-lit, inviting, cafe environment while the upstairs offers a much darker and somber ambiance. They were playing a film during our stay but we didn't mind it as it drowns out the noise from other people's table.

int ext food and drink dump 💁‍♀️ after concerts, celebrations, or events around the area, intbar is one of the more reliable options to go to late at night. they’re open past 10pm. they’ve got the time, ambiance, food, and drinks rights. their food is generally okay like beef stroganoff, meatball fettuccine, potato croquettes (we always always order this as it’s good), lemonade, evita, smothered pork, and parasite. some thing’s i’m not particularly fond of and i think could be improved: sticky garlic pork (tough meat but maybe just at the time), signature grilled chicken (taste could be improved for a signature), and their chicken poppers (we initially thought there was gonna be chicken chunks vs minced meat mix). everything is pretty enjoyable. their drinks menu is pretty promising, will definitely go back and try out even more 🍺

This small coffee shop in Cubao Expo has a warm, rustic charm that makes it feel like a hidden gem. We tried the Iced Spanish Latte, Iced Matcha, and Lemonade—and honestly, they can go toe-to-toe with the big names like Starbucks. Each drink had its own vibe, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. The only hiccup was the Lemonade—it was a bit too sweet for our taste. But hey, when life gives you lemons (and a sugar rush), you get creative. We actually ended up diluting it into a second glass and still enjoyed it. The staff were friendly, efficient, and easy to talk to, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. If you’re wandering around Cubao Expo and want a chill spot with great drinks and good service, this café is definitely worth checking out.

I thought this cafe/restobar was all style and gimmicks, especially with its hidden door disguised as a photobooth. But boy I was wrong! While it leans toward the pricier side, every dish we tried was delicious. The meatball pasta featured homemade fresh pasta, the smothered pork chop with rice was perfectly seasoned with a flavorful peppery gravy, and the sausage platter was hearty, without any fillers (you can tell!) The drinks were fantastic as well—the amaretto sour and mojito were highlights, and they even made us a gin and tonic on request, despite it not being on the menu. I loved the dark, dim aesthetic upstairs, though the music was a bit too loud for our taste as titos and titas na hehe. There’s a lot of staff din but for some reason, ang hirap nila tawagin. Masyado ba madilim? Haha

I still don't like how they mix their drinks and it's too overpriced for it's quality. I've only been here twice and tried at least 3 of their drinks. Even the sangria-like mix was bad. Idk if they even taste test their drinks anymore for a quality check. The staff and food was great tho. Maybe add a strip on the big step on the second floor mid part, a lot of people almost had an accident there btw.

A nice cozy bar in Cubao Expo. The upstairs has many tables and the downstairs bar has 3-4 bar seats 2 small tables and a nice sofa and table that will seat 4-5 people. The table service in the bar was nonexistent as the bartenders were focused on making drinks and all the servers were upstairs. The drink and food menu was good; however the drinks were on the weak side. We did get complimentary popcorn and a spicy vodka shot. The bartenders were very nice and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

We’re trying to find a place to grab a beer near Robinsons. If you want to avoid the bars with a lot of prostitutes, go to this bar. They have good Filipino crafted beers.

A little hole in the wall with craft beer. Place was practically empty when I chanced upon this bar. I got a special, a pint of selected craft beer with a shot of Jameson. Beer was ok. Just curious, nice decor.

Quaint little tap station in the shade of a large tree. Quite a fun little place to enjoy some craft beers just before we fly out of the country. Glad that most on tap were Philippine craft beers. I'd get more if i wasn't leaving. Bartender also a very friendly face. Didn't get a chance to try their food. Restrooms a sort walk away. Tap bar just steps from the curb. Street parking if you get lucky as this street is very busy.

You can tell that the craft beer scene in the Philippines is still young and the beers are not perfect. But that’s the beauty of it. The beers are raw, experimental and in many ways more interesting that what you get in Europe. It was really cool to try them. The staff was really nice too. They let you taste the beer before ordering.

Went here in a spur of the moment decision and when we arrived, the vibe was kinda mellow. After staying for about 45 minutes, the pace became more fast paced since more people started arriving. The drinks were good, though some of the cocktails were kinda pricey for what it's worth. The staff and bartenders were all so helpful and accommodating. I heard it's pretty packed most of the time, so I guess we were lucky! Very instagrammable interior as well!

Not the vibes. Almost empty after midnight on a Wednesday. Maybe it gets busier on weekends, but it’s overpriced and some of the staff are rude. The cashier behind the bar had a serious attitude problem—definitely needs customer service training.

Excellent venue with great vibes and amazing DJs. One of the more unique nightlife spots in Manila due to the great crowd and the music. Service is excellent and the aircons keep it nice and cool! This is the place to go if you like house, techno, or other electronic/dance music. Party usually starts after midnight

Had a great time at this place. Sound system was nice. The people at the reception area as well as the bartenders worked fast. Drinks were weak but I didn't mind as much. I would come back and I would highly recommend this place!

Last April 9, My friend left her phone in transit going makati but some good random stranger surrender the phone here in Nokal. We were so glad kuya Raul (Bouncer) and their Manager took good care of recieving it for safe keeping and got to retrieve it the next day. Thank you so much Nokal and God Bless.
