A lively traditional belgium beer bar with an incredible Selection of beers, over 80 in bottle and 20 on draught, mainly belgium but a few dutch beers as well - ij wit beer from Amsterdam at 6.5% is my favourite wheat beer!.all beers on a large board and a handheld menu. Bustling atmosphere, bitterballen were tasty too. If you love beer you must go here.

It's a decent bar, but the same as all bars in the Netherlands, they are very expensive. 7.15euro for a single Guinness is a little too much. The bar was cozy, quiet, and not crowded at all (positive or negative up to you). The bartender was friendly and would help you with charging your phone, and they have multiple plugs available. Guinness was too bitter for my taste, but that's on Guinness :))

Good selection of beers, especially Belgian ones. No service, you have to order at the bar. No actual food, only snacks available. Good place for a couple of special beers but not for eating. Can get very busy with all the Dutch people speaking at the same time 😉

One of the best venues in the Netherlands! No doubt, friendly staff, spotless clean. Easy access, no long queues wonderful place for a night out. Only the bar staff should be a lot quicker serving customers. Other than that 10/10!!

Caught Billy Strings for 2 consecutive shows in the Rhonda theater at the Tivoli. Great place. Design keeps everyone close to the performers. Sound was off the charts. Looking forward to my next gig there!

Honestly this place is very nice and well designed. Went to see foster the people and while there are like 2.000 people the place feel intimate. Staff very friendly, smoking balcony, affordable drinks, great location! But why on earth do you serve Bud and Pepsi?? Both the worst brands on the planet!

First time in the Tivoli. I had the pleasure of attending Ensemble Hemiolia's "Concerti Grossi XXL – Corelli and Melani" concert. The venue's seating is steeply raked, which guarantees a fantastic line of sight from every seat. The acoustics were equally impressive. I especially enjoyed the atmosphere; it's wonderful to see how much passion the Dutch public has for early music—a level of enthusiasm that is quite distinct compared to audiences in Germany.

Really great venue with multiple entrances and a few stages from what I heard. We had an incredible time here and would return!

As a venue it brings a lot of great bands, but it get really crowded and it gets really uncomfortable.

Decent selection of classic good Belgian beers. Some waiters were really friendly and professionals, others I think they were looking for shortcuts, but overall nice experience nothing too bad. I loved the place inside, drinking a beer there was really good. I loved that each beer had his own correct paired glass. One of the nice waiter also stated that they didn't have any Guinness anymore, so suggested to have another stout; then corrected himself saying that they didn't have any glasses for it, so this is definitely a positive point for their honesty and professionalism. Food wise I think they can improve, my salad was everything but a salad. Overall would be a 4/5, but I didn't like the approach towards some people. Place inside was almost empty, we were there for lunch, most tables were reserved for the evening. Those entering were first suggested to sit outside or in a not reserved table, even if more than 6 hours were between current time and the one marked on the table. I also saw one poor guy that just wanted to see the tap beers at the counter, friendly being sent back outside with the reason that tap beers were marked on the menu. He just wanted to have a look 😅 Then when a tourist group came in with their guide, they could just roam around taking pictures and videos while talking, like it's not a restaurant. It's fine and understandable, the place is very beautiful and probably with rich history, but it was funny to see the difference.

Incredible place. I was surprised the moment I got inside. It’s a huge and nice place. I never imagined to see a Bar/Restaurante in a church. Despite being a bit noise when it is crowded, it’s outstanding! Service incredible and friendly. Carpaccio one of the best I ever had!

This Belgian beer café is a hidden gem with a remarkable setting. It appears to be housed in a former church, which gives the entire space welcoming feel. The location alone makes it worth a visit! I had a few bitterballen with my drink, which were crispy, hot, and just what you’d hope for. The staff was super friendly and impressively quick, even though the place was quite busy. The beer selection is massive, one of the most extensive I’ve seen. Whether you’re a beer enthusiast or just curious to try something new, you’ll definitely find something here.

While it's a unique setting with great beer and good food, I found the natural acoustics of the church amplified the sound of everyone too much during rush hour. At some point I had to shout for my friend to hear what I was saying. If I went at a quieter time I would probably have had a much better experience. Recommended: If you're looking for a unique or new experience. Not Recommended: Big groups, business meetings, during busiest hours (unless you don't mind the noise)

Favorite place in Utrecht! Very huge selection of beers(4 pages menu), tasty food and unusual ambience since it was a church before. Book in advance strongly recommended

Cool place to go and have a beer - they have a huge selection, so you won't be disappointed. The staff are friendly and quite helpful. Reservations recommended, since this place gets very busy (and noisy). They don't do take-aways, but the food is delicious so you probably won't need to take any home :)

Delicious bar food in what feels like a mature dove bar. The portions were great, and the fire were perfectly soft on the inside with an outside shell. The pulled chicken taco was very good! If you wanted fries on the side that would be extra, but between the milkshake and the tacos, it’s was very filling!!

My rate 3/5. This is my 3rd times here. The last 2 times were better. Now the food quality was dropped. Before it was more like a restaurant now its more like a bar. We have leftover food but they don't have take away bag it was a shame. It was busy so it's hard to get their attention. It's a cool place hopefully it would be better next time!

If you like fruity flavors in beers and you don’t used to drink,you should Liefmans fruitesse. Another order is x star martini. The alcohol rate was good enough. The location was so good. After visiting the Dom Tower, we had pleasant time!

Went to this place with my family while visiting Utrecht. Lively restaurant with great ambiance in a busy street next to the cathedral. All of our dishes were very good, tasty and with generous portions, their house beer 'Lenowski' was also quite good.

Fun environment, friendly service and relatively big. We had some drinks on a Tuesday afternoon and the bar was as good as amity, so I’m not sure how I would have experienced this on a crowded night. They offer a large variety of drinks, snacks and food. Prices are fair.

Food is trash. Menu SEEMS appealing, but they really tart it up with nice words (and very high prices). “Nashville hot chicken” ended up being three tiny frozen chicken tenders from the super market with a bit of seasoning.

Love the vibe!! The milkshakes were very tasty! I prefer the cherry flavor, but you can’t go wrong with vanilla flavor either. The decoration is really cool. The service is quite fast, considering the place was quite crowded. I would love to come here again!

went to the queer in wonderland event. If i can be honest, the security guards really dampened our mood. They send you inside as soon as you finish your cigarette, interupting your conversations. Its a bit of a shame as the smoking area is usually where you get to mingle with others and they cut it short and you lose on the possibility to get to know them better. Then, after the event was over, we wanted to smoke a cigarette on the street (keep in mind thats like a 5 min activity)( and they shooed us away. We then went on the other side of the canal, sat there and talked quietly (which genuinely was the case because we wanted to be respectful to the residents) and the security guy came over the bridge, telling us the whole street is theirs at night and he was going to call the police if we dont leave right now. Funnily enough he caused an outrage which was louder than our original conversation. No idea why they have to be so hostile, completely ruined any future intent of going there again. Id be glad to see them call the police and justify that three people smoking a ciggie - not drunk, not drinking, not tripping - are doing something illegal. Felt like a power trip. Music was fine, but not my taste - but cant hate on that, therefore 3 stars.

Had a great time here, the staff is nice and the sound system sounded great too! I do have to say that the lockers are quite small so I would recommend against bringing a Backpack or something like that, other than that it's an all around great venue!

Great concert venue. It's not big but it does its job very very well. Great sound and friendly staff which makes for a relaxed atmosphere. I hope to be back one day, it's a bit of a trek for me personally but it was well worth it.

Young alternative crowd. Usually great music. Seen some excellent concerts here. Last weekend the DJ had no clue what he was doing though, could not mix or stick to a theme.

They are genuinely racist and this is not cool. I have been there a few times and realize that if you are not dutch (don't look very white and blond) they WILL give you a poorer service. Last night I was there with a friend of mine, who looks very obviously not dutch and the waiter took MUCH longer to come ask us for out order than others that showed up. He brought water to all the other tables the moment they sat down and took their orders but refused to bring us and generally ignored us. Didn't even bring us napkins when we asked for it, and generally made us feel very bad about the place. (every one else but us were dutch and they got much better service). And when I asked him about the water he just said 'Aw, your table I specifically forgot' with a smirk on his face. Absolutely disgusting. If you don't have a perfectly dutch appearances don't even go to this place. They will treat you as a 'lesser' customer. This is not the first time I have this happen to me there I don't know why I keep going. I mean it's just water and napkins, but spend your money somewhere else don't encourage this kind of behavior.

We went for a few wines on a Wednesday evening. We were hoping to find a crowded place but the opposite was true. Only the half of the wine bar was open and we were the very first. So not the total cozy setting that we were hoping for but this was all soon forgotten when we got into their amazing collection of wines by glass. We think within Utrecht absolutely the best you can get. So maybe we had a bit bad luck with the ambiance but the wine collection made it all up. Tip is to try the oysters and the finger food!

Cute place with great service. They have some nice wines. Unfortunately except for the olives barely any of the snacks are vegetarian which is a pitty. Still recommend this to get a wine here and hang in the sun while people watching.

Great choice of wine and very kind/competent stuff. I didn't like the wine I had chosen and they made me try others and in the end I could enjoy a very good wine, out of the menu.

This local tasting room is the perfect place to taste beers from the knowledgeable owners. You are only able to be seated at the bar or at a table, which means that the ambiance is very easy. The tasting room has a nice history (ask the owners) and the bar / furniture is in the old Dutch style. Would recommend this place if you like more special beers and/or do tastings in Utrecht.

We arrived in Utrecht having done a bit of research into bars we might like to visit and came here on our first night. We had a fantastic time. The beers were really good and we had the food platter which had some lovely homemade meatballs in a beer sauce, salami, cheese, bread and other lovely items. The atmosphere was really nice and friendly and the owners were such lovely people, taking time to speak to us and talk about the food and the beers. Would definitely visit again when we are next in Utrecht.

We stumbled upon this place on a rainy evening and I’m so glad we did. There were multiple craft beers on draft, and even more in bottles/cans. The service was extremely hospitable, but barkeeps are obviously knowledgeable and care about their patrons.

Visited for the first time and became an instant favorite in Utrecht. 10 beers on draft, selection is quite interesting and covers many styles. Prices are more affordable than most options in town (draft Hertog Jan at €13/L). The decor is superb, respectful of the rich history of the place, but also tidy and functional. Also, the service was very professional and kind.

This place is excellent, knowledgeable bartender and welcoming atmosphere. Helped me to appreciate Utrecht even more.

One of the things I really hoped to do in Utrecht was to find a little authentic bar/pub and try something I’d never tried before in a warm and relaxed atmosphere and this place met all my wants and in fact far exceeded them. Thank you so much for being so wonderfully hospitable to two tourists from the uk and when I’m back in Utrecht I will for sure be back at your establishment. Highly recommended!

We came for gathering but receive a very bad service from waitress. I ask for the beer on the menu but the waitress does not know it and ask me to check with the bar instead, what a service!! We order catch of the day and the waitress brings the food and spill the oil on my friend’s iPhone…seriously unacceptable. No urgently or action to take necessary action just ask after served the plate whether my friend phone is ok or not…. In term of the food, we order variety of food to share and most of the food is very salty. The fried ideas over cooked, rib is mostly burnt so do the chicken. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant for dining dinking at the bar is ok.

Great place just the service was to me kind of strange we ordered two ice coffee and a tea but when the waiter came she accidentally spilled some coffee on the table…. Now you would think she gets something would comeback to clean it real quick but no we had to do it ourselves. Was good we had baby whipes with us but otherwise was a bit disappointed….. the food itself was OK would rather advice to go here for drinks rather than to eat.

They repeatedly got the products and quantities we ordered wrong and served incorrect items. The service is extremely slow. If you don’t want to wait 1.5 hours after ordering your food, do not come here. We also ordered duck, and it was undercooked inside. The oysters came gritty and uncleaned. I absolutely do not recommend this place—don’t come. We were very dissatisfied.

Wanted a quick bite and popped inside as it was reasonably busy. Food / drinks were OK. Service was mediocre, slow, not attentive, forgot my order (twice), wrong table.....

Food was ok but unluckily the very youthful staff were more interested in socialising with each other rather than serving customers… on the first visit for drinks, our order was missed and ignored without explanation (we walked off without being served), on the second, despite 8 staff and limited customers, none would be waved done for service! Shame as lovely location and set up…

I've been coming here every now and then through the years but recently their portions have become really small. If you order a broodje kroket it's not a regular size one but a small one, on a small bun, with nothing on the side. No salad, no sauce, no fries... the drinks are also quite expensive it ended up being more expensive than the food (2 drinks per person). We went to get some extra food somewhere else afterwards.

I recently visited this spot in Utrecht and was impressed. Nestled by the water, it's the perfect place to relax, have drinks, and watch boats and shipping barges go by. The atmosphere is calming, especially when the colorful lights come on at night. Although the drinks are slightly pricey, with beers around 6-7 euros, the ambiance makes up for it. Seating options are varied, allowing for any size groups.

We were the first to arrive on a Sunday morning at 11am, which makes it hard to score the atmosphere. The feel of the place is relaxed, the staff young and a bit inexperienced but friendly. The food (Philly cheese steak and Caesar salad) was excellent, portions plenty. Location of this place is lovely; right in the nook of two canals merging into one with plenty of boat traffic to watch as you eat. Our experience was definitely good enough to return another day.

Nice location but I've been 3 times and the service is too bad. I was forced to use a QR and give a phone number (why?!), all in the name of "efficiency", but I had to wait 35 minutes for 3 beers without food. The food was average but expected for this place, and once I ordered a cubalibre, explicitly asking for Havana Club 5 which was in the bar. They told me to leave and wait on the table instead of picking it up myself. Surely they gave me a lower quality rum because it was the worst one I ever had.

Nice setting with a cool atmosphere, unfortunately the food was not great, we had the poke bowl and the portobello burger. The poke bowl tasted like it was all from a tin and the burger was uneatable, mushy, salty and stale. Would go again for drinks but unable to finish meals and had to go hungry.

It's a very nice place with a good terrace close to the water. The inside of the restaurant is super pretty and calm :) I had a pesto sandwich with cheese and soup. The sandwich is huge! I recommend this place if you are in Utrecht!

What a wonderful place! I had no idea there was such a great place here! I went there with my family and we went in for a hot tea on a cold and rainy day! We ended up having lunch too! Delicious food! Many options that are constantly changing according to the frequency of local products! Attentive, friendly, polite and competent staff who serve everyone with a beautiful smile and a lot of politeness! A place full of families, children, couples and friends! It is also frequented by single people who are walking around the place! The place has meeting and work spaces where groups can enjoy lunch and all the facilities! Nearby, a park with antelopes maintained by the administration! Geese, ducks and many birds singing, making the place wonderful! We will always come back! We recommend the place with admiration and pride for its beauty! Thank you!

Delicious food, excellent atmosphere, and Wonderful staff! (Plus much appreciated friendly menu accommodations for celiac disease!) We were in Utrecht for a week, happened upon Landhuis in de stad on our first day, and made sure to come back before we left. Highly recommend!

Great venue. Not too big, but that's what Utrecht had Vredenburg. Easily reachable with a train station and a parking garage around the corner. The venue has a bar in the performance area and one in the lounge. The setup is very cosy and comfortable. Staff are very nice and the drinks menus are very decent.

Great venue with perfect facilities for its size. Saw Teenager Fanclub here on the 9th of May 2022 and they were superb...back to the venue though! The sound is good to my ear (not a muso by any means but I was with musos who said it was good to their ear so call that agreement) and there's a good range of drinks at very reasonable prices given the overall cost of drinks in the Netherlands. Really easy to find and get to from the train station/centre of town (just follow the canal basically...) Has a cloakroom too...don't see that much in this day and age!!😁

Bouncers with power trip attitudes from the moment you come near the venue. Exceptions for pretty young women, of course. But bouncers like this are a great way to start and end your night with a shit experience. Be it a small one, but a still a horrible look.

Nice place but pretty dark, hot, and humid in the cellar. Food was quite disappointing, especially the portion sizes. The starter and main course were way to small. The sides of the main course were both twice the size of the main course itself. Flavours were good though. Canned beer was way too warm, the draft beer was nice and cold. Staff were nice too. In the end a relatively disappointing experience mainly due to the lukewarm beer and portion sizes.

Absolutely LOVE it here! The vibe is really relaxed and everyone is happy to hang out. The servers are The Best. We came with a person with severe allergies and they came up with a wonderful meal for her that worked perfectly. The canal patio is the best spot to just relax and spend time with good food and friends.

Very nice cafe in Utrecht serving a great selection of beers! The food options are also good! There is seating upstairs and downstairs. I recommend making a reservation, as the cafe is very popular and you might otherwise not be able to get a table.

We were lucky to get a table at the edge of the canal. Great location. Indoor & outdoor seating. Fab perch to watch groups motoring along the canal. Drinks were fine, food offering was bit poor. Crispy cauliflower was not crispy or even tasty , the calamari was also a disappointment. The best dish was the Camembert. See pic for pricing. I was recommend coming here for the views & location, steer clear of the food. No parking nearby, we came by bicycle. Access is via steep set of steps, difficult if not impossible if you have mobility issues.

Came there to enjoy a nice dinner and I was not disappointed. I have nothing to complain about : the dishes offered were varied and delicious (we had bavette and it was amazing). A starter and a main course was enough for me to feel full but also I couldn't pass up a crêpe (which I didn't regret !) - I highly recommend

The music is painfully mediocre. I've been here before and it had the same music as every club I've been to in the Netherlands: songs aimed at drunk Dutch people who can't dance. But I gave it another chance by going to the International Halloween party. I thought they might spice it up a bit and play hyped songs from different cultures. My friend and I were one of the few foreigners there, which of course they can't really control. But they still played music like Starships, Wannabe, a bunch of Dutch songs and THAT high school musical song. I don't get why they called it an international party

Ive called the police! Its disgusting. Those bouncers were bullied when they were young, now they are trying to compensate. If you they trow you out, don't 9/10 compy!

Staff inside is nice, the bouncers outside are rude and aggressive for no reason at all, it looks like they are there to create trouble rather than keeping everything nice and smooth. For instance, while I politely told them that I forgot something inside ( I hadn't drank a single beer that night and I spoke with them with the greatest respect ever) they intentionally lied to me so that I would go away. Needless to say they also threatened me and when I was talking to one of them about my item and where I was sure I left it, the other bouncer out of the blue, comes to get face to face with me. When I realise that he was getting too close to me, I go backwards of course, but he doesn't t stop and continues on its way to reach me and he pushes me once further away. One of the worst experience of my life.

I got drugged here with a spiked drink. A year ago and the bouncers wouldn’t believe anything you’d tell them. A year past and I’m still banned. Just don’t come and save yourself some bad situations.

Worst club I have ever been too. After waiting in line for 2 hours, I was not allowed in because my pants were considered to sloppy by the bouncer. However the guy was so kind to let me in if I payed him €40 in cash. I made the mistake to do so and was introduced to a horrible smell and a sticky floor. I even received a death treat from another person in the club. Please do not go here!

The service is great, the atmosphere is good but the food is horrible and way overpriced. My friend ordered a fish & chip and was served some hard cheap breaded fish - he sent it back as it was really not good. I got a burger whose meat was inedible : the hamburger patty had two different colors and one was hard as leather. - so if you're looking for drinks, its fine. If you want to eat, maybe don't.

They advertise cheap eats for students on Monday and Tuesday but although the price is low, the quality is even lower and absolutely not even worth the price. The staff is really friendly but the food is dissapointing. We ordered a cheese burger and chicken sate, the burger patty was the cheapest you can get from any supermarket. Furthermore, the quantity was not enough even for me (and I'm a small woman who gets full quickly).

The 'student night' €8.50 burger gave me hella diarrhoea, but the drinks were nice and the pub was busy and had a good atmosphere.

Terrible food and high prices. I paid 19 euros for fish an chips and the fish was a pre-frozen stick that tasted awful. The place has a great atmosphere though and the staff are nice. But I ordered a coke zero that was no bigger than a childs cup, and full of ice. Disappointing because they used to have a wonderful reputation with food. Off the Utrechts nice-to-eat-at list unfortunately. But fun for beers and social!

The student night is a very good idea ! You can have 1,5l of beer for 14€ and food is only 6€. The decoration is good and staff is nice. Caution, visa cards not accepted !

Great place to grab and beer and good food for a reasonable price. They have some cider options and a full range of beers to choose from. Staff were nice and friendly, although they seemed a little short staffed on the Thursday night that we went.

Nice ambiance; feels like you’re really in the middle of a brewery. And, most importantly of course, amazing beer (which will set you back some euros, though). Very nice outdoor area as well in summer. Just don’t order the nachos. ;)

I had such a good time in De Kromme Haring. Stephen and his crew are the nicest, the beers - his own and also the guest beers - were stellar. Nice people to chat, and the brewhouse next door is what a homebrewers heart like mine makes beat faster.

We love this place. It’s one of our favorite hangouts because of their great beers and changing taps. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are beer experts and beer lovers. The location might be a bit weird but we are very grateful it’s not in the city center because it makes the neighborhood more lively. Perfect location for a beer in the sun on their terrace. You never have to fight for a good spot at the Kromme Haring.

Been here two times since the selection of the US canned beers is pretty good. Classic brown bar atmosphere. Both times the same waitress served me. I don’t mind tipping bartenders, but when asked (also take into account Dutch tipping culture in general). Both times I was charged two euros per can more unidirectionally. the second time I just picked one to go, so basically no service whatsoever. Keep that in mind when visiting the place and call out such staff behavior.

Great bar, excellent bar man, very good selection of drinks, including loads of beers and good wines. Real mix of clientele in a good way with a great buzz. Will go back.

A nice selection of draft and a rather large list of funky American beers by the bottle/can. Had some fun trying several while sitting below the street along the canal. Hard to beat.

Great bar. Wasn't busy when I was there- everyone else seemed to be regular) based on the bartender's familiarity. 5 taps and a wide bottle selection Was surprised they had a couple of New Belgium and Goose Island beers. Rest were Dutch and a couple of Belgians. Bartender spoke English (as pretty much all Dutch seem to); she gave me a couple of great recommendations. Glad I stopped in.

Top club. Visuals and sound are extraordinary. Toilets are always clean and with paper. Also very nice staff working there. The bar goes fast and you barely have to wait to get a drink. I don’t give it five stars because the lockers can’t be opened once you close them. So if you want to take something from inside you need to pay each time.

No matter what people say, this is the best nightclub in Utrecht. The sound system is incredible, the selection of artists are incomparable to any club in the Netherlands, authentic audience and great selection of drinks (they have club mate!). I’ve been visiting since 2019 and is my favorite club no doubt. They also have tostis if you get hungry during the night. The main stage area is amazing, smells even nice with the incense they add (I love it) and the best sound system you’ll event find. The second stage/ area it’s a smaller spot with less good sound system, it bounces a lot and not very loud (also hard to top the main stage but yeah). I wouldn’t think twice, it’s the best place to go! The only negative thing I could say, is that last time I went there I saw one of the bouncers/ door host, he was wearing a beanie and blonde hair, he was talking very aggressively towards a girl that she couldn’t get in and I was quite surprised by this behavior since they brand the club as a safe environment and inclusive… so that was disappointing.

Bought tickets for Fluid and was extremely excited! When my friend and I arrived we were denied entry; we didn’t pass the “vibe check”. When we asked why or what the vibe check was we were told they weren’t going to discuss it with us and that we can try again another time. We were heartbroken and couldn’t help but feel excluded from a community we thought was home. I still can’t help but feel like we were denied entry cause we didn’t look cool enough and in the end it seems not every queer person has the right to a safe club night. I understand door policies but I sincerely urge you to reconsider this when combining it with a club night directed at a vulnerable group dealing with discrimination and judgement on the daily. We were also not refunded our ticket price that we had paid which means this organisation is also profiting on this horrible exclusion of minorities.

The most special club in Utrecht. It really has a big city feel that comes with it. Usually really dark and crowded open until 7:30 in the morning with loud beats banging all night. When I went the crowd was open friendly and enjoying the music. You have to buy tickets before you go though and if you want to enter the club on prime time prepare to wait in on he'll of a queue.

My friends and I were denied entry, regardless of the fact that we had bought tickets in advance, were only a group of 3 and were not causing any commotion. We were given no reason. This is exclusion of their own target audience with no explanation and most annoying of all; no refund!! Very disappointed.

We had a great experience at Beers & Barrels in Utrecht, right next to the canals. The interior design really nice, creating a very enjoyable atmosphere. We tried the brisket burger and the brisket steak — both were delicious! The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. While the price/quality could be slightly improved, the overall experience was good. A great spot for a tasty meal in a beautiful setting!

The appetizer took a while too be brought (was Wednesday evening, so a little unexpected), but other dishes were at acceptable speed later on. Probably we just got a bit unlucky as we are with 6, and all dishes are brought all at once for each course. But the food was really really good. I had a vegetarian appetizer and vegetarian burger, and it was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the two homemade lemonage and it was great too! My friend who had a regular meat burger said that it was easily the second, if not the best burger he's ever had. Another order ribs, was quite a big portion but still tastes amazing. Just can't fault anything in terms of food really! The beer at the tap on the table was okay, but quite on the expensive side. It's expected I suppose for the experience of pouring your own drinks. Really wish the appetizers were a bit faster, that would really make the whole experience perfect.

Visited Beers & Barrels in Utrecht and had a good experience overall. The service was generally good, and we appreciated having proper seating available. The atmosphere was lovely — cozy, vibrant, and perfect for an evening out. They offer a great variety of beers, which made it easy to find something for everyone’s taste. One small note: the girl behind the bar seemed a bit tired and wasn’t the most service-minded, but it didn’t take away too much from the overall positive experience. Would definitely visit again!

We got the ribeye steak which was only ok, rather under seasoned and very thin. We've definitely done better at home on the grill. The salad we ordered was delicious but very different ingredients to what was on the menu so double check if you have allergies. The view of the canal was incredible though, right next to the water and very cool interior, being built into a cellar like space under the main buildings/street. The service was incredibly slow, even though we were there around 5, well before the main dinner crowd. Not sure if it's just the normal European pacing or if we were supposed to go inside to pay or what? It was a long time between them clearing all of our dishes and drinks away and being able to flag someone down to get the bill. You're mostly paying for the atmosphere and the view at this restaurant, the food is ok, not terrible but not amazing. Service very slow.

Great experience at the Streetfood Club! The food was delicious, with a variety of dishes inspired by different cuisines. The prices were quite reasonable considering the quality and creativity of the menu in my opinion. The ambiance was super nice since the decoration of the place is stylish and i loved the retro aesthetic. It gives the place a unique vibe. It’s the kind of setting that works for anything really, whether it’s a casual lunch, a dinner with friends, or a date night. Service was friendly and efficient. The only minor issue was the kimchi, which was way too salty, perhaps just a one-off with that batch. Aside from that, everything else was spot on. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back myself.

I had the High Par-Tea, which turned out to be a really fun and tasty experience. A playful mix of savory street-food bites and sweet treats, with plenty of variety to keep things interesting. Everything I tried was fresh and flavorful, and the balance between the savory starters and the dessert selection worked perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed, which suited the relaxed vibe. The restaurant itself is a real eye-catcher. Colorful, stylish, and full of quirky décor details that make it a great place to just sit back and enjoy. With the combination of good food, a lively atmosphere, and unique presentation, it’s an experience I’d happily repeat next time I’m in Utrecht.

Good food overall, had some really salty bites from the tuna unfortunately. Most food was sadly also barely warm or had too much stuff going on. We could see the kitchen from our view and it appears that food was staying at the counter for abit. Pretty interior however the decor and colours can be overwhelming. Also ALOT of chatter, - lots of girls. Outdoor seating looks way more pleasant.

A Wonderful Surprise! I didn’t quite know what to expect — it had been a while since I made the reservation, and I had forgotten what the photos looked like. What I did remember was that the menu featured exotic dishes, and we were really looking forward to our lunch. And yes, it definitely exceeded our expectations! My Croque Madame was delicious, as were the shrimp dumplings. The passionfruit mojito mocktail was absolutely amazing — fresh and perfectly balanced. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. The interior is beautifully styled, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. In short: highly recommended. We will definitely be coming back! 15/07/2025 Just like the first time, we had another wonderful dining experience. This time we tried different dishes, and they were all delicious. The cocktails were fantastic — my favorites are the Bubblicious Daiquiri, the Pornstar Martini Slush, and of course the Passionfruit Mojito. The service was excellent as well. I had booked for 1:00 PM, but due to public transport issues we arrived 30 minutes late. I had informed them by email, and it was no problem at all upon arrival. We’re definitely not done dining here 🤭 and will be back again soon! 25/10/2025 It was my third time here and my girlfriend’s second, and once again we had a delicious meal! The dishes are super tasty and prepared with great care. We’ll definitely be coming back, because we haven’t tried everything yet. Highly recommended!

The welcome upon arrival is very friendly, and you step into a beautiful and welcoming setting that exudes tranquility. The food and drinks were delicious, and the guests didn't overpower you, so it wasn't noisy. The beautiful, clean, and well-maintained restrooms are also a huge plus. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. Definitely recommended.

Last night, I went out for dinner with four girlfriends at The Street Food Club in Utrecht, and wow – what an incredible experience it was! From the food to the interior and the overall vibe: everything was spot on. We chose the shared dining menu for €35 per person, which I highly recommend if you’re going with a group. For that price, you get a wide variety of small, surprising dishes, each with its own character and often served with a delicious matching sauce. The food is truly special and unique, the kind of dishes you won’t easily find anywhere else. Think creative combinations, bold flavors, and presentation that turns your table into a colorful celebration. What made the dinner even more memorable is that at the end of the menu, you get to pick one dish to have again, a fun and generous touch that really makes the experience stand out. The service was also excellent. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, they came to our table quickly, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. The interior is absolutely stunning. Every room is decorated differently, each with its own unique, eclectic style. The design is playful, bold, and full of personality. The music matched the atmosphere perfectly, fun, upbeat, and trendy without being too loud. The location is also great, right on the corner across from the church, making it easy to find and adding to the charm of the place. The only thing for us as long dutch people, was the space for our legs. The table was quite small, which caused that we didn’t have enough space for our legs. In short: great atmosphere, delicious food, beautiful decor, and top-notch service. The Street Food Club is a place I’ll definitely come back to, and one I’ll be recommending to others for sure.

Visited this gem for the second time. The food here is absolutely amazing. The presentation and the clash of different flavors are truly outstanding. Lightly spicy, sweet, sour, crunchy – everything is perfectly balanced. The food is served quite quickly and the service is also very good. I’ve sat both inside and outside, but I must say the atmosphere inside is much better. The vibe, the music, and the overall ambiance are excellent. I will definitely be coming back more often.

This place is literally awesome! I really liked the environment, the design of the club. The cocktail's glasses are too original together with their names. It's preferable to come here with 4 or more people! The reservation also is preferred because it's always full, now you know why! Cheers

A Pleasant Surprise! We originally came just for drinks, and I have to say—the frozen Porn Star Martini was the best I’ve ever had! It was so good, we decided to stay for food, and I’m so glad we did. Everything was absolutely delicious—we even ended up repeating a few dishes! The entire experience was lovely. I only wish we had a place like this where I live. Compliments to the entire team! :)

Went there for a few drinks and snacks. Chickenwings took over half an hr and when we asked about it, it came out immediately. It's a bit of a cramped seat outside but it's cute by the water. Cocktails are done well with matching containers to the drinks.

We visited the Rum Club for a few afternoon cocktails and it did not disappoint. We arrived without a reservation and even though it wasn't very busy, one of the ladies arranged a seat for us at the bar. The cocktails are expertly crafted and are very delicious.

My son's regular spot in Utrecht, so it was time to experience this for myself. Wasn't disappointed, great tasting food and attentive service. Nice ambience, since this is situated in 2 old wharf or cellars. Limited space, however they have done a superb job of using every inch of these. Professional staff and great music, extensive choice of cocktails, incredible. Outdoor seating is possible if the weather permits. Worthwhile visiting.

Every time we come here for the past years, the service is terrible and sooo slow. There are always so many staff just standing inside and chit chatting, it takes soo long for them to come out and take your order and when you want to order inside they say someone will go and take your order. Well hello ive been waiting already for 20 minutes for someone and thats why i had to come jnside to order. In the past Ive never left a review giving them multiple chances, but today it wasn’t even busy and thats just unacceptable. We are never coming back, its a shame cus this place is nice near the canal but i guess thats the only appealing thing and bad service just ruins your mood and experience.

Came for a quick snack and some drinks before a concert. The nachos was not constructed well, uneven toppings. Borrel snacks were standard. Nothing amazing. Location is nice and the high ceilings are nice. However they also seemed a bit short on staff/staff were un-attentive so it was hard to get their attention to order, so much so we decided to skip the last round.

The food wasn’t the best and wasn’t the worst. The location is great, super central and beautiful. I would go again as a nice place to catch up with a friend.

For some reason the shift manager was on a power trip and had the urge to make passive aggressive comments about our reservation. Weird.

So far so good. The staff are friendly enough ( Riff especially helping me a lot with ordering) to help you decide on what should you get (especially if you are from southern Europe) but they lack cheese plate and fruit plate to complement wine (depending on what kind you get) almost all the complimentary food starts at 1700 hrs or 5pm. So keep that in mind. Although that being said I like their service and (can be a little late sometimes depending on how crowdy it gets) I will come back to it and with full review on their menu. (This will susceptible to change next time I visit)

Warning: Discrimination at Café Le Journal (20/04/25) On April 20th, 2025, we were asked to leave our table at Café Le Journal without any clear reason – even though we had small children with us. The manager and a waiter spoke to us in a disrespectful, condescending, and clearly racist manner. They even threatened to call the police if we didn’t leave immediately. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. We will never return – and we strongly advise others to avoid this place.

Staff are friendly enough. Better when we tried to speak Dutch :-) We didn't eat but they do have some nice beers in the bottle. Great for sitting in the square and doing some people - watching

A good place for a breakfast. Orange juice, tea, scrambled or fried egg with bacon plus a slaw salad, cheese plater. Bread and croissant. And jam 16€. They do good lunch snacks and a terrific range of beers.

Their staff is friendly and accommodating. I loved the grilled shrimps and the tomato soup, also the crème brûlée is nice.

Went with a group of ex colleagues to get a drink, it was really quiet so we were soon the only people left. However, they never made us feel unwelcome or like we were bothering them by staying. Service was good.

We had to wait a very long time before we got our food. And when we got it, it wasn't tasty either. I had the black angus burger, and the meat was still completely red on the inside, and the rest of it had no taste. I didn't eat it. I got half of a friend's burger, who had the chicken with kimchi, but that burger wasn't very tasty either. It tasted like there was a lot of vinegar on it and the kimchi wasn't really good kimchi. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and the service was friendly. However, I won't be coming back here.

Eaten here a couple of times, so far it's always been a succes. I usually go for a burger or some other meat dish. They have some great starters/appetizers as well. Heard from a friend that the chicken saté isn't great. The place has a nice cozy vibe to it, service isn't particularly great but the food is definitely up there in my book.

It seemed like they forgot to season the food, even after waiting 45 mins. Room temperature ribs did fall off the bone, but had no flavor. Gambas lacked flavor too.

Vegan and veggie dishes are clearly labeled on the menu. I’d really recommend the flammkuchen starter! The vegan sate I had as the main dish was nothing special and a bit pricey for what it is. However, the restaurant is cozy and beautifully decorated in a romantic French style. There’s also lots of space to sit outside on the terrace. We had a really kind waiter who also brought me fireworks at the end after my colleague mentioning it was my birthday 😂🎇

this is a lovely place, but it is a “place the dutchies go when it’s sunny”. most people there are socializing and chatting, they don’t go here necessarily for food. in terms of studying / bringing a laptop here, i’m unsure if this is possible as i only used their outside area. the food i had was pulled chicken burger with piri piri sauce, it was really delicious. however, it was pricy. the food + 1 drink for me was €22

I went this place 2 and half years ago, had one of the best burgers I've ever had, and my girlfriend had a great risotto. I finally managed to go back yesterday for dinner, and it was totally below expectations. It must have changed owners. Now they serve small "sharing" portions, very expensive for their quality and size. The food did not taste good, especially the hamburger. Cocktails are also below average. I was also surprised by the fries. A small portion is literally an handful of fries, for 3.50...

A very kid-friendly place, with a little playhouse outside and a room with toys inside. We stopped there for coffee and cake, and hot chocolate for kids. All was great. We liked the cherry pie and the cheesecake (but not so much the apple-and-pecan pie).

We really enjoyed the bitterballen, olives, and hummus and dip tray. Great service and cold draft beer. Perfect for a quick stop while touring Utrecht on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Very sweet and interesting corner in the already beautiful and with its unique character Utrecht central area. Always smiling and kind , helpful staff , both the inside of the cafe but also the outside tables have their own style and character. Both the drinks and food/snacks menu covers all the taste / diet / allergies/ vegan choices and options ( and is also available in any language needed through scanning the QR code . 10/10 I would recommend the iced coffee , apple pie and the burger !!

I don’t come to Utrecht often, but when I do, Café Orloff is a must. Honestly, I treat it like a religious experience. Forget the Dom Tower, this is where true devotion happens. The kroket? Simple, humble, golden… and yet somehow the best thing on the planet. I have no idea what dark magic is in that filling, but I would gladly kneel on the terrace (sun shining, cherry beer in hand) just to honor it. The café itself feels like stepping into an old-world postcard, wood panels, cozy corners, the kind of place where your phone politely stays in your pocket because it knows it’s outclassed. Bonus points for a sunny terrace, where I can sip cherry beer like a civilized human while watching Utrecht do its thing. In short, I may not live here, but every trip to Utrecht includes this pilgrimage. Kroket, cherry beer, sunny terrace, old-world charm… I’ll be back, and I’ll probably write a sonnet about it next time.

Very cosy bar with decent choice of beers in a cool unique location ‘in’ the canal, in the centre of Utrecht. Sometimes bands play there, which I can definitely recommend. Young and friendly staff. Despite the hard work of the staff, it took quite a long time before you could order anything, perhaps it could be a bit better staffed on busy evenings.

Stopped here for a drink. They place has a nicely terrace just next to the canal so that you could enjoy your drink by the water. The menu is creatively published on vinyls which I found a pretty interesting idea. Drink menu is good, but I couldn’t find much interesting food. Overall I can recommend the place. What I didn’t like is people smoking all around, I felt like in other places it was not the case. But if you are a smoker you would enjoy it I guess?

This place is awesome! When we were visiting this bar, there was a theatrical show... they said it’s a punk rock theatrical but it wasn’t that loud. Food were 👍🏻 beer 🍺 yumm. Nothing to complain. The location is quite unique but probably it’s normal. We have to go down through stairs so it was in basement.

Went there daily while staying in Utrecht. In July, they're not super crowded and I always found a table, by the water. Excellent salad, excellent soup (cauliflower bisque.) Good service - I did not experience long waits as others have reported. The serving staff was friendly. Beer was great. Prices very reasonable.

Nice food and great place by the canal! We chose the two vegan meals, they were both tasty (especially the tempeh) and large meals. Perfect after a long day :)

Update 2024: deducting a star, making this three stars now. The bowl portion size has decreased but the price has increased. I’m happy to pay slightly more for a good portion, but not for a smaller one. The ingredients are fresh but I’ve had several occasions where certain ones were forgotten to put on. The preparation time for a bowl can at times exceed 30 minutes, which seems unreasonably long. Review 2023: Great selection of bowls for a fairly reasonable price! The vegan options are all very tasty, but there could always be more of course. One thing to improve upon: consistency of portion sizes. I’ve had bowls where 90% was rice, and I’ve had other bowls where rice and toppings were nicely balanced. It’s a shame sometimes

Used to be really good pokébowl. Now it’s just a half-mixed bowl of mushy rice with a bit of salmon thrown in. Even the taste feels different than what it used to be. Honestly, it’s a pass, better make your own at home

Nice place located in the centre for fresh and healthy meals. You can make your own poke bowl or substitute the base for their standard options. I went for the Witzela and substituted the rice with salad and grains instead. Also have the option to add extra proteins. Very handy option if you don’t feel like eating too much carbs, and more protein and vegs

Sadly, a prime case of shrinkflation in Uteecht. I've been a customer of this poke perfect since it opened years ago. Ever since, portion sizes have steadily decreased whilst prices rise. This is expected to some degree with inflation, but the same bowl I bought for 11-12 euro a few years ago is now more than 22 euro whilst the portion is significantly smaller. When you get a large bowl, staff does not actually proportionally increase protein and toppings. Instead, you get a little more topping and mostly way more rice, which seems quite deceptive. Not only this, but the service is bad. The personnel is often rude, which is impressive as we're not able to actually order with them anymore. Instead, everyone, regardless of whether you order online or show up in person has to order through a terminal, which means you wait longer when you get a bowl in person than if you were to order it online, which seems backwards. They won't even let you order in person if it's not busy. I used to love this place, but the rude service and disproportional shrinkflation has me seeking alternatives. A real, real shame.

Awful delivery service. We've ordered two bowls. - There was a lot of soya sauce, the bowls were more like soup rather than bowls. Extremely salty, almost impossible to eat; - In one of the bowls several topings were missing; - We ordered two large portions and got two normal-size; Overall, disgusting place, especially for this price. Maybe it might be better if you order in place, but never ever try delivery from here. Awful

Very good poke bowl with lots of customisation options and well put together. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Only downside is the astronomical costs. Paid about 50% more than central London prices

Nice place to catch up with friends with some beers. Might even be a suitable place for meeting / bringing a (first?) date. There's a movie theatre across the street (mostly play semi-mainstream arthouse movies I think, like a Tarantino movie for instance) which could make a nice dating-combo... Anyways... The pub definitely is a great place. Haven't tried the food so I can't really judge it. And I don't think it's very practical for large (more than 5 or 6 people) groups, especially inside the pub. In summer, when they have a pretty large outside-area with tables you might have better luck (groupwise I mean).

One of the best bars in Europe with convivial, relaxing views, friendly bar staff and when the sun is shining, there isn't a place quite like it. Go relax!

Unfortunately they let their customers work. The process of order with the qr code is just disrespectful for the customers. I don’t think there is anyone who prefers this method over real human beings taking the order and choosing by having a real menu in one’s hand. The food and drinks came quickly, but were nothing special. Although the owner saves money in form of wages, everything was still Pricey and the staff that was there didn’t seem very enthusiastic about their work…

Nice place, normal prices, for everyone, nice friendly staff

Only had beer, but it was good. Service is good too. It has a lovely patio so it being the summer, we sat there. My only issue is that smoking is allowed in the patio (as I think is the norm for the Netherlands) so the experience for non-smokers is regrettable. Wouldn't go back there unless I am wearing a mask with a good filter.

Location is just opposite the theatre and cinema. Quite Central in Utrecht and definitely a place to sit in the summer and have a drink. The drink menu is good and please try their cheese. Quite good quality and beautiful way to spend it with some wine and beer. The staff is really kind. The prices are quite ordinary.

Great guests, great personnel, great bar. Went here on Kings Night and definitely had a unforgettable time. 5/5 - Utrecht and Cafe Lijn always worth a visit. Cheers guys.

This was hands down my favourite bar in Utrecht. It has an almost pub-like feel with comfy booths and great music. Great beers and knowledgeable staff. Amazing place. The reason it was my favourite is because they used to do the most delicious food - unfortunately they no longer do.

One of my favourite pubs in Utrecht - an extensive beer list that isn't as crowded as other popular beer cafes. Super cozy setting, very easy to pass many hours inside. Really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff for when you're being difficult and wanting beer recommendations based on what you feel like - they always deal with us in such good humour and figure out the perfect beer for us. I haven't had the food, but the menu has always looked very appealing!

Cool place a bit out of the centre. Interesting dishes on the menu, lots of vegetarian options. The grilled chicken bun was very good!

Very nice public spot on the waterfront. Usually quite busy so arrive early! You have to go and order your own food and drinks at the bar and can only pay by card.

Amazing vibe, Israeli menu, lots of vegetarian options, board games available to play, personal space/spots available, good beer, lovely spot for sunset in Utrecht Netherlands. The only thing I felt, music could be a little better, it was too repetitive. Wish they had a takeaway option as well.

Easy, relaxed vibes in this canal-side eatery. (Tables run small, and might be best for small groups!) They have excellent drinks and light meal options. I was happy with the Healthy Brunch Bowl and Salted Caramel Iced Coffee.

Lovely place along the canal! It has a very chill vibe. You have to order at the bar yourself and they only take PIN. I had a lovely apple pie with them and was a bit jealous of my hungrier friends getting good-looking burgers!

Great place to enjoy your time with friends and have fun in many different ways. It's a place that you feel welcome from the moment that you will get in its cozy eniviroment. Check their webiste and for sure you will find something interesting to do.

It was a warm place with live music by us folks. The coffee and sparkling water was good. Since I don't use alcohol, I don't know how other drinks are. The International Open Stage activity was really nice that you sing and play instruments with people you didn't know before. In overall it's been a fun experience for us.

Wonderful place where artists can get together on jam nights and play with other musicians on stage. Free entrance on most nights, while some nights a donation is in order. Few drafts beer and a few on bottle as well. Little parking space out front during work days. Social and free spirited, this place is ran by volunteers. Enjoy!

Probably one of the best venues supporting up and coming artists and established artists. They really care about music, people and the environment. We had a fantastic experience and we will be back. Thank you ACU!

ACU is a non-commercial cultural center. Concerts is its most important activity but it hosts a wide range of activities: café, vegan restaurant, political events, jam sessions, benefit events, parties, movies, library, and meeting place for political and cultural initiatives. There's also an exhibition room.

Had a walk along the canals, very pittoresk with many beautiful buildings and the church. Many cafe and restaurants along the canals.

The Oudegracht, or 'old canal', runs through the center of Utrecht in the Netherlands. It begins in the southeast of the city. Here, the Kromme Rijn (the original main bed of the Rhine) and the Vaartse Rijn (a medieval canal reconnecting Utrecht to the newer main stream of the Rhine, the Lek) meet the original moat of the fortified city, and the Oudegracht leads from there into the city center. The water level of the Rhine in Utrecht fell because of the new dam at Wijk bij Duurstede. Soil was excavated and used to raise the sides of the canal, reducing the risk of flooding. By the time the city's lock system was completed in 1275, the water level was constant, allowing the construction of permanently dry cellars and new quays at water level, hence the typical wharves below street level. Warehouses used to line the canal, but today many of these warehouses have been converted into restaurants and cafes.

A bit crowded, but generally a pleasant experience. The area boasts numerous pubs, pastry shops, and bars with prices for all budgets. For those interested in a water excursion, there are various options available, from tours on one of the many cruises to renting a smaller boat for a more intimate experience. While the area is dotted with historical buildings, it's unfortunate that some of them are inaccessible to visitors. Additionally, popular attractions like the Dom Tower of Utrecht tend to be heavily crowded and, if you don't purchase your tickets at least a day in advance, you have no chance of gaining entry.

What a lovely place for affordable and wholesome dinners dedicated to charitable causes! We really enjoyed the three course meal by Vitto! We will definitely come back!

What an absolutely great concept of bar run by volunteers with tips and profit(?) going to different charities. We were there for Sunday's three course vegetarian menu which happened to be of greek theme with greek music to go with it. Would definitely go again given chance!

Wow, I saw a Jam session musicians party. Hard rocking blues songs and many improvisation around. Musicians was so unique in presenting their own stuff. May be, it was hard to fill lineup right on the way, but I didn't feel any moment, when I missed something. And what about cafe... That's probably the best place for local cozy parties, with welcoming employees and True-priced beer. Check it!

Nice place but terrible treatment by some of the staff. The performer had stopped and I was talking to a friend, and he criticised me for not paying attention. I was paying more attention than the majority of the people there when he was actually performing. But whatever. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and might check it out again sometime.

I walked in at 20:40 and was greeted with a surprise look of seeing someone that showed up that late and was informed the restaurant closes soon but I have time for one drink (even though I later noticed it’s open till 22:00). I asked for a large beer and got a small one instead. Staff looked as though they already signed out.

We were exploring Utrecht and stopped by here for a quick bite. We went in blind, but were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. The service was a little slow, but very kind. The waiter recommended some good local favourites for us try. It was a little overpriced, but tasty nevertheless. Would stop by here for drinks again for sure.

I had Ice coffee and appeltaart. Because I'm allergic to nuts, I wanted to know if there was maybe nuts on or in them. The waiter looked rather aggitated. He didn't know. He got me the box so I could read the ingredients. He acted as if I was whining. Their Ice Coffee is very good!

The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean and well-kept, and best of all, the staff are incredibly friendly.

Located in the heart of the city, a nice place to eat some snacks and have a good beer. We ordered some delicious bitterbalen and Kaassoufflé and fried sweet potato (which was good but we wanted the mayonese sauce apart, they put on top anyway). The upstairs toilet could be an issue for elderly or disable customers.

Fast service, great food, very decent pricing, and charming setting. There was self-service for fresh water with ice cubes and lemon (very appreciated on a sunny day!) which was for free. The apple crumble with caramel ice cream was especially wonderful. It was the drawing of the crumble on the chalkboard that pulled me in, so the artist did a good job!
