Snoopy's Pier is a well-established eatery founded by a veteran fisherman in 1980, offering a family-friendly setting with stunning bay views. It provides open-air dining right on the water, allowing guests to enjoy unobstructed sunset views over the bay. The complex has expanded to become an attraction for sun seekers, live music enthusiasts, and food lovers.
Lower your expectations of the look of your food and you'll be happier ☺️ Overall the crabcake salad was good but there was many 2 tiny artichoke pieces hidden amongst very boring ice burg lettuce. Hubby had Redfish that was tasty. The view was cool. There was no shade outside or fans. If they added that with misters, it would really be great. Next time Id try the fries or onion rings. Service was basically self serve with random 15 yr old busboys running around.

We had a very fun visit at this location! The food was good, but the breaded chicken tenders my kids got were undercooked and overly breaded. Everything else was amazing, though. You order your food prior to finding a seat. We enjoyed the outside seating. The bar area had some live karaoke going on, and an ice cream shop right next door. It's such a fun atmosphere.
Chadwick D — Google review
Our favorite part was being directly on the water and having a front row seat to the dolphins. The sunset was beautiful. The food was pretty good, but I think I ordered too much fried food. So that was more my fault than the restaurants fault. My daughter did swipe one of the turtle soaps and started to eat it. So I did pay for that. Overall; I think we would definitely come back, I would just order a salad next time with seafood on it.

I visited Snoopy's Restaurant with my friend a couple months ago and we were disappointed in the food. The fish tasted like it was frozen fish cooked and breaded in bland fish fry. 🐟 The fries tasted liked bagged fries and were tasteless. 🍟 If you want to get condiments and the drinks it is self-served. The food did not taste real or authentic, everything tasted like frozen, bagged food that they fried. I could have made the food at home for how it tasted! I will say the scenary was beautiful and there was good, karaoke live music. 🎤 🎶 🎵 If you want good, flavorful seafood please skip this restaurant.

The food was okay. Nothing too special or to write home about. The best part was probably the view and atmosphere. They had karaoke the night we went. I the sunset was beautiful and the salt water smell was perfect 👌🏽

Incredibly disappointed in our take out order today. We ordered over the phone and they forgot to add our fried catfish meal. The kids grilled cheese sandwiches were $10 - and didn’t look correctly cooked. We tried to call back to correct our order and the phone just rings. Our shrimp platters and hush puppies were good - consistent with a food shack menu, so the price just didn’t match the quality unfortunately. We spent over $100 on very cheaply made food. Customer service could be better and more professional. Will not order from here again.

We showed up at Pearl Oyster and immediately we were blown away, Happy Hour all day $2 drafts $1,50 oysters. jalpenos were on point actually the best we ever has. Eric our bartender was awesome. If we ever return this will be our To Go spot

We arrived at 6 p.m. and brought our dogs. There’s a dog-friendly patio with plenty of shade and seating near Scoopy’s, the dessert spot next door. A DJ was there running karaoke, which added to the vibe. You order your food at the register and then find a seat. They call your name over the intercom when your food is ready, but it was a little hard to hear from where we were sitting because of the music. The menu encourages you to add sides, which range from three to four dollars. It’s a little misleading if you’re not paying attention, but the portions are large. You can also order individual items a la carte, like fish or shrimp. We got a dozen shrimp. They were huge and perfectly fried. We also ordered the Snoopy’s combo, which came with fries, four fried oysters, four shrimp, and fried fish. The fish wasn’t cut like a filet, more like two big fish nuggets. Still, everything came out hot, fresh, and in large portions. We hadn’t been here since we were kids. We came back for the nostalgia but ended up getting a solid meal and some fun karaoke entertainment. The dog-friendly patio was a nice bonus.

Seafood restaurant
Doc's Seafood and Steaks is a vibrant waterfront restaurant in Corpus Christi, offering a lively atmosphere with live music and picturesque views of the water. The menu features fresh Gulf seafood, hand-cut Angus beef steaks, and tropical mixed drinks. Whether you're dining indoors or outdoors, you'll enjoy the scenic location right under the JFK Bridge from Corpus Christi to Padre Island. With nightly live music during peak seasons and weekend performances in between, Doc's provides an authentic coastal dining experience.
This was our favorite place by far on our visit to the area. Yes, the food was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was great!! But the service was beyond 5 stars. Our server, Lauren P. made our experience here exemplary! She was so attentive, friendly, and informative to all our questions. Made our visit more memorable and fun. We chose to go with the two different fish options that were caught that day. The cooks here clearly know what they're doing, as our food was delicious. They had a live singer performing near the front door in the bar area. Below the restaurant if you have a long wait (which is worth it!) Is another bar area you can enjoy and pass the time. If we ever get to come back to visit the area, this restaurant will be on top of our list.
Chadwick D — Google review
Our visit to Doc’s Seafood and Steaks was a decent overall experience, but it had a mix of positives and drawbacks. We waited about an hour and 15 minutes to be seated, which was expected for the busy evening, but worth noting if you’re visiting during peak times. The menu is heavily seafood-focused, with many dishes prepared blackened or jerk-style, so there’s a fair amount of spice. If you’re not into seafood or bold flavors, your options are somewhat limited. The setting is one of the highlights — you can sit near the edge and enjoy a nice view of the water, which adds to the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the chairs were hard and lacked any lumbar support, making them uncomfortable for a long meal. Our server was friendly and attentive, which helped balance out some of the food concerns. The burgers we tried were very charred and didn’t have much seasoning; the sauces provided most of the flavor, so without them, they would have been pretty bland. The lower-level area offers games like cornhole and the ring-and-hook game, along with some live music, which creates a casual, fun vibe. However, it also had an unpleasant smell of spilled beer and even urine, which was off-putting and made us question the cleanliness in that area. In short, seafood lovers who enjoy a lively, waterfront atmosphere will probably appreciate this place more than we did. For non-seafood eaters, the limited menu and mixed food quality may not make it worth the wait.

This was my first trip to Texas and Corpus Christi, and I decided to take a solo trip. This place came highly recommended, and I can see why. Gabby was such a sweet waitress and very accommodating, even while handling a busy crowd. She truly deserves recognition and a raise. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous and made the whole experience worth it. The only negative observation I had was with the owner/manager (tall, slim white man). He was walking around asking tables how they liked their food and if they needed anything, but he walked right past me and only spoke to the tables in front of and behind me. It may have been unintentional, but it did feel strange and made me feel a little out of place for a moment. Overall, my visit was great, and I would probably return.

First we were placed at the perfect table with the best view of the water while still being shaded. Enjoyed the variety of the drink menu. Ordered the Cucumber Watermelon Lemonade and the Jalapeño Dosarita, Starters were great - Raw Oysters & Watermelon Tuna. However when it came to the entrees, the Docs Yardbird sounded great in theory but was a bit too heavy handed on the blackening seasoning (still enjoyable) and would try it again, but it was not as awesome as the Lemon Caper Tuna (fantastic in flavor and cook - rare to med rare) and the green beans were cooked well with a lemon pepper seasoning. We will be back for sure! 😍

Everything about Doc's is great! The views, the food, the service...there's nothing you won't like about this place. You can sit and watch boats travel the Intracoastal waterway while you sip on a great drink from the bar and enjoy some amazing food! Prepare yourself though, this place can get really busy in the evenings, but if you stop in for lunch, you'll have a better chance at getting a table quickly. This is one of my favorite places to visit in Corpus Christi.

Totally surprised how good the food was… I was expecting it to be very meh and it was very good. Horseradish sauce was on point. To add a little more information for future patrons, we ended up ordering 2.5 lbs of peeled shrimp, because they were exceptional. Everything else was equally amazing, as my photos show.

Long wait but expected if you show up to doc's in late afternoon with 4 or more. Service was friendly and helpful atmosphere was very bright and open and had a great view. Food was good a little over cooked but to to the point where I was disappointed overall a good experience.

Had the Parmesan Crusted Red Fish. It was one of the Tuesday night specials. It was really good. The creamy shrimp sauce on top was called Laguna Sauce and it was delicious!! Beers were a little warm but otherwise a great place for dinner that's right on the water.

Restaurant
Water Street Oyster Bar is a beloved seafood restaurant located in downtown Corpus Christi, offering a picturesque view of the Corpus Christi Bay. With its origins dating back to a transmission shop, this family-owned establishment has become a popular dining spot for both locals and visitors. The menu features an array of fresh seafood, including mesquite-grilled Gulf catches and locally sourced oysters. In addition to its coastal vibes, Water Street Oyster Bar also offers sushi options for those craving Japanese cuisine.
My family and I visit this oyster bar whenever we’re in Corpus Christi and for good reason. They can get quite busy so expect a wait especially if you’re going for their unbeatable happy hour. Their oysters are super fresh and super good. Great atmosphere that is spacious with professional and attentive staff. There’s dining on two floors and they have a sushi operation going on right next door that is attached and your sushi orders are actually coming from there. Can’t go wrong with any of their main entrees either. They’ve got nice, clean, big bathrooms as well.
Tommy P — Google review
One thing I can say is the atmosphere and vibe of the place was really good. There's a raw seafood bar where you can watch the workers prepare. Plenty of seating but I admit it was VERY busy. We had to reserve 5 hours in advanced to secure a spot. The food was OK, not bad but also not mind-blowing. Everything was fully cooked and presented beautifully but the flavor was lacking. (The dipping sauce was really good though). Overall personally I wouldn't recommend this. But dont let that deter you from trying it. The waiter and staff were super friendly, just the food I tasted was not up to my standards.
Vidal S — Google review
Someone recommended this restaurant and I’m glad they did! Our server Marty was wonderful. She recommended my plate and man it was good! Real friendly and made us feel like home. Over all food was delicious the atmosphere was pleasant. My wife and I will definitely be back. Thank you Marty!!
Baldemar ( — Google review
We were glad to see the Shrimp & Oyster Embrochette back on the menu. Robert was our waiter, and he was outstanding. I really liked my oysters. I had a bad experience a while back at the new Landry's, but here they were big and tasted fresh. We always get crawfish tails for our appetizer, but they aren't listed on the menu We did not especially like the key lime pie filling, but the graham cracker crust was so good!
Cheri P — Google review
The place is very nice, the bartender took my order and never once came back asking if everything was all right or if I wanted another drink. I bought half dozen oysters. And they were some of the smallest saddest oysters I’ve seen in a while. I ordered a seafood planter oysters, and shrimp. The shrimp was good, but I think kind of small and the oysters were even smaller never quite had a seafood platter like that one of the saddest seafood platter I’ve ever had. Nice place pricey food and very small portions. You might want to have a snack before you get here. You might leave hungry. I travel all over the United States on music tours and this is a type of place that I would stay away from when I’m on the road. It was recommended to me so I had to go and check it out. But I don’t think I’ll be going again anytime soon. Too much money for too little.
Javiér B — Google review
This is a great little gem in CC. The building was remodeled and done very modern and cool. At the back of the bar, they have this cool wall done in oyster shells. The oysters were on point. I could have eaten a million. The service was terrific. We will definitely be going back. I will say I will most likely skip the sushi next time. It was dry for sushi.
Marsha D — Google review
Great food drinks and star! We will return to enjoy all the great atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic. Our server, Sarah, guided us through the extensive daily selection with the ease of a seasoned sailor. She explained the flavor profiles of each oyster—from the petite, metallic Kumamotos to the larger, creamy Bluepoints—with specific, mouth-watering detail. And then, there were the oysters. We ordered a dozen, a mix of Sarah's recommendations served glistening on a bed of ice. Each one was perfectly shucked, free of any gritty shell fragments. The first oyster was a taste of pure ocean, a clean, crisp brine that awakens the palate. The mignonette, a classic red wine vinegar with shallots, was a zesty, clean complement that highlighted, rather than masked, the oysters' natural flavor. While the raw bar is the main event, the cooked dishes proved the kitchen is equally talented. The Chargrilled Oysters were a revelation—smoky, buttery, and packed with a garlicky breadcrumb crunch. They were an indulgence that perfectly balanced the clean simplicity of the raw selection.
DARREN R — Google review
We called the restaurant ahead of time to check if they allowed dogs. The first person we spoke with said they did, but the patio was under construction. We called again later, and this time they confirmed the patio was open and dogs were welcome. So we decided to go. We arrived around 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday. Parking was available on the side of the restaurant. The place was already busy, but we were seated right away since no one else was sitting outside. The patio was still being renovated, but it was open and usable. They still honor happy hour on Saturdays from 3 to 6. Our server brought us a menu that had dinner options on one side and sushi on the other. About two-thirds of the sushi was included in the happy hour deal and was half off. They also had a variety of beers and wines on special, along with several food specials not listed on the regular menu. We started with oysters. They were large, fresh, and not too salty or briny. They came out quickly. For entrées, my wife ordered the bacon-wrapped scallops, which came with parmesan zucchini, stir-fried rice, and a Caesar salad on the side. We were also given complimentary bread. The scallops were perfectly cooked—big, tender, and wrapped in bacon that had a nice char. Possibly wood-fired, but we’re not sure. I ordered the blackened red snapper, which was one of the specials that night. It came with rice, seasoned vegetables, and a buttery, garlicky sauce that reminded me of a beurre blanc. The fish was fresh, cooked well, not dry, and had great flavor. The sauce was a perfect complement. Overall, everything came out fairly quickly, especially for a Saturday night. Even though the patio was under renovation, it was still comfortable, and we appreciated being able to bring our dogs. The food, service, and atmosphere made for a great experience. We’ll definitely come back.

Hester's Cafe Six Points is a charming and lively eatery that offers a delightful selection of breakfast, lunch, coffee, and pastries. Founded by the husband-and-wife team Jason and Hester Rodriguez in 2006, this local favorite prides itself on serving scratch-made dishes that are both inventive and delicious. The menu features an array of options including hearty sandwiches, fresh salads, eggs benedict, French toast, and the popular B.E.A.T.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brunch at Hester’s Cafe Six Points was absolutely fantastic! We ordered the My Fair Lady, Duke Ellington, and the Berry Monkey Smoothie Bowl, and every bite was delicious. The My Fair Lady is a flavorful panini filled with eggs, fresh spinach, cheese, and maple-smoked bacon—perfectly toasted and satisfying. The Duke Ellington comes with two slices of crispy maple-smoked bacon, two perfectly cooked over-medium eggs, and a side of delicious roasted potatoes. The Berry Monkey Smoothie Bowl was a refreshing treat, packed with blended berries, banana, granola, coconut flakes, and a drizzle of honey. The wait staff was kind and attentive, and the owner serves with a smile, making the whole experience even better. If you’re in Corpus Christi and looking for a top-notch brunch spot, Hester’s is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a “MUST VISIT” cafe in Corpus Christi TX. The food is EXCELLENT and the service and atmosphere match the food. My wife had a poached egg (looked like a rose) on top of a breakfast crab cake. She said it was to die for. I had eggs, bacon, potatoes, and the BEST Hester’s version of French Toast and they were INCREDIBLE! The Cafe leads into Bleu Frog, a General Store with something for everyone. We are going back later with the family (12 in all). We are going to check it out thoroughly. We will definitely come back every time we visit Corpus, highly recommend that you visit the cafe and general store as well. We love it when we find great cafes and stores like these. Thank You Hester!

This is a very serene place to hangout and eat breakfast, brunch or lunch. They have a variety of coffees, desserts, and menu items. We were very impressed with the variety of items on the menu. The time between ordering and receiving our food was in a timely manner. The service was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The atmosphere was clean and inviting.
Anita G — Google review
Great place for breakfast. We were first-time visitors, but as soon as we walked in, a staff member approached us to explain the ordering process. That was very helpful. We had the Cheesy BEAT and the My Fair Lady. They were both delicious. Great atmosphere as well. There were plenty of families with young children. The restrooms were clean. The only thing that I disliked is that we were given a Smuckers single serve packet as a jam. I would think that a place that prepares such delicious food would make their own jam. Or at the very least something better than Smucker's. It seems like a place that gets very full, but we were there around 8 am. Highly recommend this place.

We came to Corpus Christi from Austin for a short weekend getaway, and since it was our first time here, we were looking for a good breakfast spot with solid vegetarian options. Google led us to Hester's Cafe – and it was totally worth it! We ordered the Avocado Toast, coffee, and Strawberry Pancakes with whipped cream. Everything tasted super fresh and delicious – exactly what we were hoping for to start the day😍 Huge shoutout to the staff 👏5 stars for customer service! My husband felt the pancakes were a bit overcooked, and when we brought it up, the manager was so kind and polite. He explained the prep and immediately offered to replace them without hesitation. Such a great experience! Made our day⭐️ Highly recommend if you’re in town and craving a wholesome breakfast with amazing vibes.❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re in Corpus Christi and skip Hester’s, you’re making a serious life mistake. The food here isn’t just breakfast and lunch—it’s happiness on a plate. Their coffee could revive a dead car battery (and tastes way better). The baked goods? Straight-up dangerous because you’ll want to eat three of everything. The staff is always friendly and on top of things, and the place has a cozy, local vibe that makes you want to stay longer than you should. My wife and I loved it—felt like we were eating at a friend’s house, if that friend happened to be a world-class cook with a coffee addiction. Bottom line: come hungry, leave happy, and don’t forget to grab something from the bakery case for “later” (spoiler: you’ll eat it in the car).

Harrison's Landing is a waterfront restaurant located in Corpus Christi, offering a casual and relaxed dining experience with indoor-outdoor seating. The menu features American comfort foods, including seafood dishes like salmon with mango salsa and lobster encrusted flounder, as well as fried platters. In addition to delicious meals, visitors can explore nearby shops and stroll along the waterfront. The restaurant's location near the seawall provides stunning bay views for diners.
The food here is fantastic. First time here and I gotta admit even sitting outside they have fans so that way it is tolerable and the atmosphere here looking at the water while you eat is the best. Our waiter is attentive. Everybody should come here at least once and enjoy eating on the water.

This is a great spot and the service is great. We had some delicious drinks and the blackened chicken sandwich was delicious. The menu is mostly seafood but they have burgers and salads also. The vibe is amazing and the reason we eat here. You are right on the water. 🤩
Christine B — Google review
The atmosphere here was spot on. Part of the marina. I really enjoyed the fried shrimp and my server was amazing. The only downside was my taquitos. They had great flavor but were cold in the middle. Like refrigerator cold. The server offered to replace them but I had eaten about half of them despite the temperature issue because the flavor was amazing so I didn’t feel right about getting a new order. Just enough to keep from a 5 star rating, but everything else was great!

This was a pretty cool place. We actually ate on the water and you could feel it move the whole time. I had the server suprise me with a fish and it was really good, the unicorn fish. Slightly over cooked, but the sauce was awesome. Everyone was pretty happy with their food. Looking forward to going back and getting surprised again on a new meal!

Good food & cool atmosphere. The fans and breezes made the patio tolerable even in the midday sun and I'm a "big guy".coconut shrimp were crispy but the shrimp were still cooked perfect. She had the fish and chips. The only thing that would have made this place better would be live music.

We arrived at Harrison's Landing and were immediately seated on the patio. They do allow dogs, and the patio is covered, which made it a comfortable spot. We ordered drinks while we waited for dinner later that evening. They had a few drink specials, and we went with the Prickly Pear Margarita. It was solid. They also brought out ice water for our dogs, which was a nice touch. The only downside was the bathroom situation. The restrooms are located inside the gift shop, and there are only two available. Since it was a Saturday and just after 1 p.m., the shop was pretty busy and there was a bit of a wait to use the bathroom. Not ideal, but nothing major. We had a great seat by the water with a nice view. The overall atmosphere was relaxed, and the drinks were good. We appreciated being able to have our dogs with us. We didn’t eat this time, but we plan to come back and try the food on another visit.

We're visiting Corpus Christi and found out about this lil gem. The service and food is great and it's fun to sit outside on the water. The only thing I did not care for were the birds that were flying around trying to grab food, they weren't dive-bombing anyone though. The platters are plentiful, my sister and I shared the fish and chips. It tasted great. The oil used to fry the fish was clean and the flounder tasted fresh. We each got the El Jimador Margarita since it was the drink dé jour. Our server was Sabrina B. She was friendly, attentive and efficient. Thank you Sabrina. There's a gift shop next door and patrons get 20% off, just show your receipt. We will return to this establishment.

Brewster Street Ice House is a lively sports bar and live music venue located in a historic 1932 building in downtown Corpus Christi. It offers an authentic Texas experience with live country music, American cuisine, and a vibrant atmosphere. The venue is family-friendly, featuring an outdoor playground for kids and even welcoming leashed pets. With weekly live music performances by both local and visiting artists, Brewster Street Ice House is a popular spot for enjoying delicious food, cocktails, and great entertainment.
I came here twice during my latest trip to visit family. Randy and AD are the best bartenders; they are so different but equally hospitable! The lemon pepper wings were delicious! Crawfish was fresh (not frozen),and they were generous with their “pounds”. I didn’t like the chicken fried chicken too much, but that’s probably bc everything else was top notch! I’ll definitely be coming back on my next visit!

The staff were really nice and the bartender was great at her job. The Hello Sunshine burger was mid at best. I had asked for grilled onions and when I received my burger, there were no onions. So I had to go back up to ask for some and wait longer. On top of that, my patty was charred. My friends really liked their chicken fried steak with gravy.
Selena V — Google review
Water was good, torilla soup was perfect, Chicken fried stake was chewy in alot of places like rubber and plether fur belt chewy, infinite toast was great, the gravy was bland as if water and flower was the only flavor. The fried were ok, the ranch was good. Service was nice and kept up. TAP water was 1$ (:/)

The food was ok. It has been better. Maybe we caught them on a bad night. The show was good. The bar service was great and fast. The servers for food were lacking customer service. They were ignoring us and a lot of others when they would ask for stuff. The atmosphere was good for the show we saw. We would go again. Definitely recommend it for shows and bands. We haven't been there to just eat.

A little confusing when you first walk in, as it's not very obvious what exactly you do. But after standing there for a minute, we figured out you had to talk to the other side of the restaurant to order. Food was pretty good, good menu options with a variety for everyone. We did witness an employee get mad trying to put a crawfish sign up and struggle, so she decided to launch it through the double doors behind her and then help people with a angry look.
Adam S — Google review
For as much money as we spent I expect better quality food. The grilled cat fish was almost sour covered by too much seasoning and the sides had no seasoning. The sides tasted stale like they had been pre prepped in ready to serve containers. The Mac and cheese was stale with hardly any cheese sauce. The only grilled option for shrimp they offered was a pricy side of shrimp which I actually enjoyed but they were little tough. The atmosphere was so noisy I couldn’t even hear my wife to make conversation. The flys were so obnoxious I crammed half my food because I just needed to eat and wanted to leave. You walk in and have to find your own menu, seat yourself, get your own drinks and order from the bar in the back next to the kitchen entrance which doesn’t make sense. The higher reviews are misleading. Maybe I’m missing something but we will not be going back.
Jessi B — Google review
Found this place after leaving a Hooks Saturday game & went on a Sunday about noon. Seating is abundant. There is inside & outside seating. You place your order at the counter and they bring to your table. Ordered the shrimp tacos blackened came with a side of charro beans and they were pretty good. Lots of tvs but had to request to put on the Astros game. Music plays somewhat loudly and the tvs don't put out sound so watched the game while listening to music. That's not what I wanted to experience so I ended up leaving earlier than anticipated.

Got recommended this place by many on reddit.Place was full with a biker gang.We sat at a table that had a bell on the wall, I touched the rope of the bell and it rang one time.Which prompted the bartender to yell out something like "Be careful w that bell, you don't know what that means,You don't want to ring that with these guys in here" ??? Not sure if the bell was some sort of biker gang joining bell but vibes were for sure off.

Padre Island Burger Company is a lively and vibrant burger bar that also serves as a live music venue. With its lively atmosphere and bustling ambiance, one might mistake it for a dive bar, especially after dark. However, this restaurant stands out by offering some of the finest burgers in the Corpus Christi region. Located at the intersection of PR 22 and TX 361 on Padre Island, this establishment is known for its delectable burgers paired perfectly with garlic aioli fries.
This place definitely earns its title of "Best Burger in Corpus Christi." The meat was super juicy and flavorful and the toppings were good quality. The fried pickles had a nice breading and crunch to them! Everything was a bit pricier than we were expecting but the food quality was great.

4•13•25 thid was our very 1st time eating here it was good butmy burger the egg was cold and my fries were cold. The burger is good yet I my opinion is it is thick bread I wasn't that of a fan but i only ate one bun. Yet the egg they placed in it was cold so was dissapointed on that issue. The other was a plain cheese burger and husband said it was good. Will I come back sure I'll give it another try, will I recomend yes but if any issue bring it up to their attention so they can fix it. It is very small so glad they have tables outside to.

Burgers and beer (and some appetizers). We had to wait in line (outside) at 2pm on a Sunday - no doubt we were not the only ones leaving the beach looking for a hearty meal. The wait to order was understandable, the wait for food seemed excessive - fast food this is not. We did not wait for a table, we sat outside on the covered patio. The burgers are good, but over cooked (unless you like well done). The burgers are good size, but lack veggies - not a single choice has lettuce or tomato. The fries were hot and delicious. I like the crunch the fries have. Best thing: draft beer. Note to restaurant: the “please keep the door closed sign” is not visible while people are holding the door open; maybe it should be on the wall.

We had a fun time at this establishment. We sat outside on the deck for dinner while the kids played the Jenga next to us. They had a great time with it. The food was good. They had many options to choose from, but it is an order at the bar and pick up your food when its ready. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Outside seating just was a little dirty due to the age of the seating possibility.
Chadwick D — Google review
Great burgers even though they're really too big. Cut the prices and the size of the burger and we'd be thrilled. If you want to save a few bucks, the burgers are large enough to split, but beware they are messy. The messy part is tasty so that's not a negative; we really enjoyed ours! I had the Mr. Beckham and my wife had The Lulu. (Tip for a less-spicy Lulu: order Jalapeno slices on the side and pull some seeds before putting the slices on the burger.) Burgers were prepared well and toppings were plentiful. Fries were tasty, too, and it's nice they come with your order. The staff was friendly. Note this is an order-at-the-counter place, so there's no sit-down service. That's not a negative, but something we weren't aware of so I wanted to mention it. Also, it's set up like a small bar inside, so there's not much seating. That means you'll want to beat any dinner rush unless you want to sit at an outside table. (Not a bad spot to eat but a bit weather-dependent in terms of temperature.) All-in-all, a great spot we stumbled upon and will visit again when we're in the area.
Ari A — Google review
A great solid burger. When I check out a burger spot the main thing I'm interested in is the patty. If a burger isn't good without all the condiments or veggies then it isn't a good burger. Let me tell you each individual element of this burger was fantastic. The patty was well cooked with good seasoning and a nice char and was full of flavor. The bun was nice and toasty but had a little give and was sweet and the sauce was delicious. First time here and will definitely make it a point to come back if I'm in the area again!

Incredibly happy we stopped here. We wish we would have found this gem sooner. They have the best 👌🏽 fried pickles we have ever had. We ordered the small and it was plenty for me and my fiance. He got the World Famous LuLu burger and added a fried egg on top. The LuLu includes a cream cheese and jalapeño jelly mixture on the burger. The bun is a star as well, its sweet and fluffy. It was delicious. You can also build your own burger.

Pretty great seafood place, had a great time out here! Food: 10/10 The food was cooked to perfection and super hot/fresh! Service: 9/10 The service also was really great, our waitress offered both a great attitude and timely refills! Super nice and friendly as well! Atmosphere: 8.5/10 The atmosphere here reminds me of pretty much any 4 star seafood restaurant, it’s pretty crowded here lately at night. Place could be a tiny bit bigger and cleaner but overall still REALLY nice!

What an amazing little gem! It had a very down home feel with the most amazing service. Our party had steak or salmon. There was a small, plated, winged issue with the baked potato which was handled with humbleness and grace via the manager rather than putting the responsibility on the wait staff, to which I say, Well Done! The food was absolutely excellent.

A favorite to be added when in the area. The service was quick, the appetizer, was wonderful, crab cakes, and the food was 10/10. The house chips were unlike anything I had before. Gotta try it. Ended with desserts which was perfect. The vibes were cool. Literally was accommodated 30 minutes before closing. Very much appreciated after a long day at the beach. Great atmosphere and great food. Won't be disappointed.

Went here on a very busy Saturday night and had a lovely time. The wait wasn’t that long and the service was fast and friendly. We didn’t feel rushed and the food was exceptional. Highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms, and the chocolate mousse. The only negative to note was the hush puppies were more like balls of just cornbread. Will be back! Glad to add this place to a list of “go-to’s”

We set up the RV at the Naval station campground, and we were hungry for seafood. I looked up Saltwater Grill. It was very close to us. It was a nice location and plenty of parking. We were greeted, and from the get-go, service was great! The menu is simple, and it made ordering easy. The dinner was absolutely perfect and plentiful! I really liked their service. If you need anything you don't have to wait for your sever. Any employee will tend to you. Great team work! This is a great restaurant! I recommend Enjoy! Back in Corpus and round 2 at Saltwater Grill. This time, I had the Stuffed Crab Flounder with buttered lemon caper sauce and mixed vegetables with string green beans, broccoli, squash, zucchini, and sauted onions. Our server Destiny was on point again! She was non-stop service! Something else I found out is that you can bring your own bottle of wine 🍷 with a cork fee of $8. Again, I Recommend! Enjoy!

I’m just here for business visting and looked up best seafood places and this place popped up and had good ratings, so I decided to try it out. Gumbo and dinner special Redfish was delicious! Service was not great, I decided to sit at the bar since I’m sitting for one, the waitress barely greeted me I was just sitting waiting , finally I said could I see a drink menu one would think she would bring me a drink and food menu. Nope just a drink menu. As I wait again she didn’t bother to ask if I needed a food menu or if I was ordering, so again I asked for a food menu it took her a few minutes to bring one, not sure what took so long, when I see stacks of menus I could have just got them myself. Then I decided to try dessert to take back to the hotel, I ordered a slice of key lime pie to go. Was excited to try it took a bite started ok but once I got more of the crust - it was salty!! They used salt instead of sugar 🤢 what a HUGE waste disappointment! I called the restaurant spoke to the mgr, he offered to drive a replacement dessert but it was already 9p and that spoiled it for me. He proceeded to tell me that this has happened years ago. Taste it first!

I've dined at Saltwater Grill for years. They used to be my favorite seafood restaurant but they've really gone downhill. In the past, they consistently had great oysters at a reasonable price. If I recall correctly, they were around $16 per dozen, large, and tasty. Now, they're almost twice the price ($14 for a half dozen) and so tiny that you can't hardly taste them. The manager said that they've gone to farm raised oysters because they're better for the environment. Their gumbo is also loaded with Talapia, another farm raised fish. I go to seafood restaurants to eat seafood. Tilapia is not seafood nor is tiny, overpriced farm raised oysters. I won't be coming back.

Went here on a friend's recommendation, and I enjoyed my meal. Very casual, laid-back atmosphere. Order as you enter and seat yourself. I had the fish & chips and a tossed salad. The fish was really light, crispy, and flavorful! I was disappointed with the shoestring fries as the "chips." Not bad. I just have never been a fan. Expected thicker cut fries. 🤷‍♂️ The tossed salad was great, nicely sized, with the manager recommended walnut dressing. I saw most people ordering burgers... maybe next time!

Never have I had a taco from a place that served tortillas raw. Cooked (or at least steamed) tortillas should never crack but having ordered the Baja shrimp and fish tacos, all tortillas were dry and brittle. At least the shrimp and sauce was flavorful. Also ordered a side of hand battered fries. Worst fries I’ve ever had. Despite looking crunchy, they were soggy and flavorless. Please be advised that salt is optional here. Go with the shoestring fries. Definitely feels like a tourist trap.

This was our second time eating here and we enjoyed the food and service both times. The big turnoff for me is the dirty look of everything. The bussers did a great job cleaning tables, it is just the generally old, worn down, dirty appearance of everything. The patio even had puddles of water under some tables so it was hard to find a place that looked clean and comfortable to sit.
Moriah G — Google review
Beautiful setting! But that luster went away when I walked in. I was looked at like I was supposed to know what to do when asked if we sit down ourselves or what. She looked up from her phone and directed us to the bar to order. So you have no clue walking in what to do. The bar tender acted completely annoyed and rolled his eyes when I said I didn’t want alcohol just was told to order food. Then our food just came out, literally thrown on the table there’s fries everywhere lol. The server ran off back to the kitchen. I’m not coming back. Food was good but I’ll go elsewhere for fish and chips. Very disappointed.

Nestled in the very heart of the entertainment district, The Executive Surf Club delivers an experience that’s both diverse and engaging. The venue is segmented into three connected areas, each with its own distinct vibe. The largest space is an outdoor performance area with a covered stage, which transforms into a lively, festive gathering spot on party nights. This vibrant energy makes it an ideal destination for those who love to soak up an energetic ambiance while enjoying live entertainment. The food here is a delightful revelation amid the bustling atmosphere. During my visit, I sampled the classic fish and chips—an absolute standout, bursting with flavor and perfect for those hungry moments. My daughter enjoyed her shrimp burger, and my son wasn’t far behind with his tasty fish sandwich. On another occasion, I tried the fried shrimp and fries, which came out wonderfully, while my husband’s fish tacos were a pleasant surprise. The menu offers approachable, satisfying options that elevate the overall experience, making it a hit with both adults and kids. One of the unique aspects of The Executive Surf Club is its thoughtful layout. Depending on your entry point, you might first experience an ambiance reminiscent of a downtown café, complete with a service counter where you can place your order for bar and grill classics. The food is then delivered to your table in any of the three areas, preserving the charm and individuality of each space. This clever segmentation, a common trend in downtown establishments that have grown into adjacent spaces, avoids the impersonal feel of a massive warehouse and instead offers a sense of separation and character. In summary, The Executive Surf Club offers a multi-dimensional experience that combines festive outdoor entertainment with a solid, family-friendly menu. Whether you're drawn to the energetic performance space or the unexpectedly delicious food, this spot manages to create a dynamic setting that caters to both the party-goer and the casual diner. It’s a commendable choice for anyone looking to enjoy quality food in a vibrant environment.

Bellino Ristorante Italiano e Bottega is a charming restaurant located in The Village Shopping Center, offering a delightful fusion of Italian and Sicilian cuisine. Helmed by Sicilian chef Francesco Inguaggiato, the menu features classic dishes from both traditions, including calamari al sugo, Caesar salad, caprese paninis, spaghetti ala bolognese, and chicken breast in gorgonzola sauce.
Celebrated my birthday with dinner at Bellino Ristorante and they totally exceeded our expectations! Many delicious options to select from, weekly menu specials and great wine. Warm and cozy feel when you are seated and staff is knowledgable, attentive, genuine and provided us with excellent service & recommendations. I want to personally give our sincere gratitude to Nikki for making my dinner out a memorable and fantastic experience. You are a rare find and Bellinos is lucky to have you on staff as you truly have a heart willing to serve and enjoy providing customers with a great experience. This was the most disappointing Italian restaurant experience I've ever had, and the experience was characterized by a series of hiccups that should have made me walk out the door much, much sooner. So let's talk about it. I didn't like how the waitress offered me bread service while I was browsing for the menu for the first time (a service that is often complimentary) when it turned out to be a separate expense. I don't mind paying for bread service, but there was no transparency there. I don't like unexpected fees on my bill. She could have had the courtesy to tell me there would be a charge and I would have accepted it. The bread was ice cold. Made fresh or not, I don't understand why you would serve ice cold bread to your patrons. I asked her if it was intended to be served cold and received a non-answer. Have some respect for your patrons, heat up your bread if it's ice cold. The calamari appetizer, average. I could go to any cajun or seafood restaurant and order the same thing and the flavor profile would be vastly the same; you're not getting anything special when you order the calamari appetizer here, is all I'm saying. But it was okay. It just wasn't special. It wasn't something I would really recommend to others. The main course harbors my main complaints, chicken parmesan. Let me wedge a compliment in here real quick and say the sauce was delightful, they did a good job. I enjoyed the sauce. But the noodles were undercooked, very chewy, not al dente. And the chicken was overcooked, stringy, chewy. It was the most unpleasant main course I've had anywhere in a while. And it's especially disappointing because the place is lovely. Yes, the place is nice. The atmosphere is great. They take pride in their aesthetic and tables are dressed nicely. But when a place looks and feels that good, I want the food to taste that good. And when it doesn't, it's just an incredible disappointment and the contrast becomes unbearably noticeable. The Bellino restaurant exudes fanciful vibes of an elevated dining experience but the food only exudes mediocrity.

My experience , we went around 2:00 and able to get lunch hour prices. Thankful for that. First impression walking in was beautiful and looked like a fine dining restaurant. Our dishes were good but definitely not great. To start we ordered the calamari, calamari season and texture was good, but there was an old oil after taste. The main dishes flavors were there but meatball consistency was a little soft for my liking. Pasta was more than Alden te, and our meal did not come with a salad or bread. I did ask for bread after we started eating and I have to say, instant regret! Bread tasted old and stale. In my opinion if brushed lightly with butter and toasted, it would have made the world of difference, definitely would have paired better with any and all their food and made for a better experience. This place definitely has potential to be an awesome restaurant, just a couple of simple changes that wouldn’t cost a penny just a little more TLC! Waitress knew her job and was great at recommending menu items. Very friendly!

Really lovely restaurant BUT we were really disappointed in the service. Kimberly was kind but not attentive. Our wine and water were never refilled during our stay, she had another employee come take our dessert order and never gave us a wine bag to take home the rest of our bottle. The bread was dry and old - thankfully, we weren’t charged for it. Overall, the service felt “turn and burn” despite this being our special date night that we spent a lot and had hoped would be a grand experience for what we paid. Very disappointing.

I wanted so badly to like this place. The food was very bland. Not italian, not Italian American, unfortunately just was lacking in flavor and not well prepared. I had the walnut pasta which was a flavorless white sauce, no evidence of mascarpobe or aged cheese, with a few whole walnuts that were not even toasted. For an upcharge, a few slices of flavorless chicken were placed on top. I had a salad that was just spring mix thrown from a bag with two (2) tomato slices. My date had chicken parm which was an impossibly thick piece of chicken, not pounded as the dish is typically meant to be prepared. Also we waited a very unusually long time for the food. The cocktails were good and I would only consider coming back for a cocktail at the bar. Truly disappointing and I tend to think that this restaurant group just doesn't know what it's doing and does not prepare the food with any love or care.

Had a good experience here overall. The service was great and the staff super friendly. The atmosphere is okay, some of the tables are a bit small and/or too close together but it’s not a big deal. Atomic Omlette is the best place in town for Breakfast. Omlettes 🍳 ☕️, Pancakes, 🥞 Waffles 🧇, and it is under new ownership making sure that everything is great for you. It is definitely my favorite restaurant for coffee, breakfast, and brunch. You can build your own omelette just the way you like it. Delicious 😋

Mimosas are over priced for quality. Food is over priced for quality.. The omelette was cooked perfect and the potatoes were delicious. The toppings for the omelette weren’t to my expectations especially for the price. Atmosphere is good, Super, super clean (absolutely love that) the organization around the restaurant is great, The decor is nice and neat. Staff is friendly. 7.5/10 over all experience. Good for a one time experience!

The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. My issue was specifically with the food: I ordered the Salmon Eggs Benedict and a waffle, and while the Benedict was cooked well, it really didn't have any seasoning to add to the flavor. In addition, the syrup served with the waffle was coagulated, so the syrup behaved more like an egg white (slimy and chunky) so I didn't eat much of the waffle.

The staff was friendly. The environment was fine and clean. The food though… what the hell. My protein pancake was literally green. They add green food coloring to their protein pancakes so they know it’s a protein pancake. It’s 2025 I think you can come up with a better system. Avocado was hard. Omelet was decent. The syrup that came out of my cup for the pancake (which I didn’t eat) looked like a jellyfish when I poured it out. Definitely some extremely fake artificial syrup. Literally is like a jellyfish it’s disgusting. Like what is this loogie cup.

Food, service and atmosphere was great! My wife and I took our daughter on a vacation to visit the beach and this ended up being our breakfast spot as well as any future visits. It's a order at the counter self seating service, the wait was expected to be 30 minutes for food but we got it within a 10 minute threshold after ordering both times we went. The cooks know how to keep things flowing and everyone was pleasant to be around. 😁 10/10 will go again.

This is a good place to get breakfast. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. Service is alright and there are lots of seating options.

Husband and I went there this morning. We ordered two Morning Glories and the biscuits and gravy. Absolutely delicious!!! The hash browns were heavenly. The eggs cooked perfectly over medium as requested. It was REAL bacon. So yummy! The biscuits tasted like they were made from scratch. The gravy was thick and flavorful and they sprinkled bacon over the top. It was a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend and cannot wait to go again.
Deborah N — Google review
The concept is awesome!! Once we sat down we were greeted by three different wait staff to fulfill our drink order so I appreciate the attentiveness. Food came out in a reasonable time; however, it was cold!! The wait staff took care of this so graciously and the tall black server was super accommodating in making sure it came out hot and fresh!! The potatoes need some seasoning/flavor. Food was pretty good but the service is what would bring me back if we visited the area again.

Enjoyed celebrating my sister's birthday here so much that I had to share this place with our friends for our anniversary dinner a week later. Great experience for both occasions. Fabulous food absolutely delicious dishes served by friendly people in a surprisingly comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend giving these guys a try when you want to level up your dinner.

My first time eating here and it was a big disappointment. My Caesar salad was soaked in dressing couldn’t even eat or enjoy my salad. They only serve Instant Coffee which is unbelievable! My dad and brothers enjoyed the Oysters. The crab balls should become crab cakes. They still needed cooking no one cared for the crab balls. The ceviche was okay. My sweet tea was good. The fish tacos and the shrimp platter were good. My pecan snapper was dry and disappointing I didn’t care for the tangy white sauce served over a hard avocado slices. My sister enjoyed her Salmon except for the olives that came with her dish. Our server was amazing, sweet and friendly. Overall, I’m glad my family enjoyed The Blue Clove, however, I personally will not be coming back. Do note this is my personal opinion. I have no doubt this place is a favourite to many locals. I’ve yet to find a good fish restaurant.

Amazing dinner for one in Corpus! I love this quaint and fantastic restaurant. The waiter recommend the crab stuffed drum and I tried it. It was delicious and sensational. If you are ever in Corpus Christi. You need to try this place out!

My friend recommend this one to me....and, Wow. I was simply blown away. We went around lunchtime and was given a lunch menu, after looking over the menu I admit I was slightly disappointed. I flagged down our awesome waiter and asked if they did a dinner menu all day and he said yes! This is where everything changed. Everything on the menu looked delicious it was super hard to choose. After weighing my options (literally every choice sounded amazing) I settled on the Cajun Snapper. And a 3 dollar unchanged for a bowl of Gumbo OH My god! It was one of the best snappers I've ever tasted the Cajun sauce with baby scallops and gumbo were seasoned to perfection and the food portion size was more than enough. I highly recommend this place to anyone! 10/10 will eat here again.

The food was amazing! 1st time here and definitely can't wait to go back ! Got there around 5:30pm.on a Saturday. It was perfect because around 6pm it started getting packed. The appetizers were so good. Our main dishes had a sauce that was sooooo delicious!!!

Sweet Staff Simple Menu!!! We enjoyed an inconceivably romantic outing. Whole afternoon was wonderfully woven together, with DAVE as our server. He is so attentive, just the most courteous, jovial Gentleman. Such delicious veggies! Perfect compliment on the special Valentine's Day! Our great aunt is their regular, and you should be too! They always remember and cater to her specific personality! Very beautiful restaurant.

This place was not what I thought when looking on the outside in a strip mall. It took this strip mall area and made it feel like a bright calm place to have supper. It was not a dressy up place. Come as you are, shorts and shirts were fine. The waiter wore a shirt from the restaurant and nice pants. His name was Derek. Great service!! He was triple sat and ran the tables as if we were the only table he had. He was busting his booty! We lacked for NOTHING!! We started with bacon wrapped shrimp. 4 were included in the order. The jalapeño was a nice spice, but didnt kick, they took the seeds out! I has the 4 chicken breast meal. The mashed potatoes were creamy and tasted super fresh. A couple of lungs so you knew it was fresh not boxed! Loved that! The chicken was nice and crispy, juicy and the 4 cheese topping was just salty enough I didnt need to add any salt to the plate. The star was the lemon ber blanc (sorry if misspelled) it was so yummy and crispy!! The serving was so much I had enough to take home for tomorrow at lunch! Hubby had fried shrimp. With rice pilaf and veggies. The shrimp were so big, like half dollar size! Approx 6 shrimp filled him up! They were moist and juicy and very tasty. We absolute have no problems coming back here. We did not get drinks from the bar, but it appeared to be a very busy bar and the bar tender was making drinks the whole time we were there. We will be back in fro. San Antonio again!

B&J’s Pizza - The Original is a beloved establishment in Corpus Christi that has been serving up delicious pizzas and handcrafted beers since the 1970s. This casual eatery, which took on its current identity under Jack and Kathy Baker in 1987, offers a diverse menu featuring signature pizzas like the California Veggie and House Special, alongside wings, subs, and burgers.
We got the small family dinner meal which got us a specialty pizza and wings. We also ordered garlic bread with cheese which was really delicious and fresh. Everything we ate was really good and the wait wasn't too bad. We Definitely will be coming back!
Alejandro M — Google review
Worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. After we had already paid, we were told the wait for food would be 30–40 minutes—but it ended up being 55 minutes. And it wasn’t even busy. The chairs were disgusting—the first ones we sat in were covered in pet hair, and we had to switch them out. To make matters worse, we found a hair on the platter the pizza was served on. The pizza itself? Tasted like something you'd get from Sam’s Club, but at a ridiculously high price. Honestly, you might as well go to Chuck E. Cheese for pizza and save yourself the money. And yes—they charge for ranch.
Ashley N — Google review
A great meatball sandwich, 60s motown on the sound system, and nice people working there. All that combined with great air conditioning makes 5 stars. How could it be any better? Pro tip: don't accidentally go into the bar if you want food. Go straight to the food ordering counter in the smaller area.
Jimmy B — Google review
Hadn't been here in years food is still great portions are sadly much smaller on the sandwiches 1/2 what they use to be. Great beer selection bar is quiet no pool or darts that's kinda weird. New guy at the register forgot to add my app and got the drinks wrong. Took forever to get a to go box. But I'd still come here for the Philly.
Andrew H — Google review
This place is one of my all time favorite places to enjoy some drinks and the food is AWESOME.
Michael I — Google review
The pizza is great! And the staff were awesome! Talked to one of them (sorry I didn't catch his name!) and he said they make the ingredients fresh each morning, and you can tell from the quality of the pizza. It was fun watching them toss the dough! 😁 And great prices, too!
Crystal H — Google review
If somebody asked me how my experience was I'd tell them "Bad" if they asked me how "Bad" I'd tell them "So bad that they made me write a review" For starters we paid almost $40 for a single pizza, a platter, and two can sodas for $1.97 a piece! That's way too high a price for a soda in a can! Then we sat there and waited for an hour; watching as multiple pizzas went into the other room which was the bar area, I don't know why but me and my friend ordered way before anyone else did in the bar area, because we watched them come in when we were waiting. While we waited a homeless man comes in, interrupted our conversation, then proceeded to bother us, begging for money and even threaten us by saying "I've done regrettable things in the past to people who didn't give me a chance" He eventually left us alone. No staff help what so ever. Only after we said no did the man rush out the door before anyone could ask him to leave, only after trying to sell us a busted wallet, chains, rings, and liquor. By the time the pizza finally arrived, it was tough and chewy. We had already finished our soda cans by the time, so we had nothing to drink unless we pay for another almost $3 soda can. Overall, hated this experience, hated the pricing, especially after a day of working in the heat.
PoisonessVenom — Google review
We came here for an anniversary party. The pepperoni pizza was good and there was plenty of space for everyone to eat. There were plenty of options for craft beer. I wanted a soda and they only have can beverages. I'm not sure how much they charge per can since I didn't pay the bill, but I'm assuming it was probably more than if you have a fountain.

Coffee Waves is a popular coffee shop in Corpus Christi, with multiple locations across the city. It's known for its cozy and relaxed atmosphere, making it a great spot for students, families, and tourists to hang out. The interior features brick walls, high ceilings, and plenty of seating options. They serve freshly roasted small-batch beans from local suppliers like Nordaggios and Driftwood Coffee Co. The beachy vibe and surf-inspired decor add to the laid-back ambiance of the place.
Big train is one of their best sellers and I like their caramel flavor so much. The ambiance in this coffee shop is pretty cozy when you want to study but it has its busy hours of course usually in the morning.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Coffee Waves is hands down one of the best spots in Corpus Christi! Whether you’re looking for a place to study, catch up with friends, or just unwind, this cozy café hits the mark every time. Their coffee is phenomenal—smooth, rich, and expertly crafted. From lattes and cappuccinos to cold brews, every cup is a treat. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, their gelato is a must-try—super creamy with a great variety of flavors that rotate regularly. They also have a solid selection of snacks and pastries that perfectly complement your drink. The atmosphere is relaxed, with plenty of seating and a cool, artsy vibe that makes it easy to focus or just hang out. Highly recommend Coffee Waves to anyone in the area. You’ll want to keep coming back!

We stopped by Coffee Waves and honestly, the inside was such a pleasant surprise—it looks way better than the outside! The vibe was calm and cozy, with a good number of people quietly doing their own thing. The cashier was super nice and didn’t make me feel weird for not knowing drink names (love that). Both staff members were polite and welcoming. The drinks were spot on! I got a matcha with sugar-free vanilla and swapped out the honey they usually add. I also added strawberry cold foam, so good! My boyfriend got something that totally gave caramel Frappuccino vibes (I forgot the name, sorry!). I tried checking their website for a menu but couldn’t find one, so that was a little tricky. Overall, this place is a hidden gem. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Came to The House of Rock for a vendor market and ended up staying for the vibes and the food! The pepperoni pizza is everything a pizza should be — perfect crunch, gooey cheese, tasty sauce, and just the right amount of pepperoni. A slice with a drink came out to under $8, which is a great deal. The events they host are also really fun and well put together. I’ll definitely be coming back!

5 stars because the whole experience was great. I would only suggest the changing of menu descriptions, or notice of item substitutions. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, and it stated it would be 2 large homemade meatballs. Which it didn’t come with, even if they were frozen, it’s ok. Nueces Brewing and Barbecuing is a newly established spot in downtown Corpus Christi, offering a spacious setting to savor their menu of barbecued meats, flavorful sides, and craft beer. The brewery takes pride in using old-world techniques to create simple, crisp, and refreshing brews that perfectly complement their famous Texas barbecue. In addition to the delectable offerings, Nueces hosts various community events such as bingo nights, car shows, markets, and workshops.
This is one cool spot. It’s wide open seating and a great location close to the water. The food was superb. The menu is fairly simple which is kind of refreshing. They have standard bbq options with some cool bbq variations. The smoke point was on point with all dishes. The dishes are straight forward, but if you get the corn in the cup stir that sucker up. It’s a layered dish so a lot of the flavor is at the bottom. The bbq sauce has a chili base so it’s got some spice. All the dishes that aren’t a straight forward bbq option have some bit of spiciness to it. The beer was refreshing. They have some standard brews and a few interesting creations. The 5400 is an awesome creation that blends an amber and IPA. They serve their beer to go in larger bomber cans which was a cool option. The ordering and operation can be a bit confusing though. You can order through a QR code, beverage only though. The menus are at the bar which where you order. They bring you your food to your table. No servers. They are fairly quick to pick up used plates and glasses. The place was pretty busy but they were very quick when the food and drinks. That is rare at a place like this, artisan food and drinks. When I go back I will get the 1/2 lbs of marble brisket with a side of the corn.
Andrew M — Google review
I had the brisket street tacos and green beans. Tacos were filling and pretty darn good. The green beans were very tasty. The bar staff was very approachable and knowledgeable of the menu. The delivery staff had no clue who ordered what items. The atmosphere is comfortable but the benches are not. I’m really happy with the wine selection. ALL TEXAS WINES! Thank you for supporting local.

We got the Brisket Nachos, and they were pretty good. Looks are a little deceiving because there were a ton of chips under all the toppings and by the time we got through the first half we didn’t finish the rest because it was all chips. Still good, but not our favorite.
Michelle S — Google review
Over all the food was pretty good. I wasn’t expecting the gumbo to be as good when it was delivered but the flavor was really good and not too spicy. The turkey and pork in the tacos didn’t really have that BBQ smokiness but the flavor was still really good. The green beans were very tasty which also something that was unexpected. There is plenty of seating with picnic like tables inside.
Michael P — Google review
The corn was delicious! They should sell the sauce on top!! The food was good overall but wish the meat was a little more seasoned. Turkey was spot on but the brisket and pork lacked just a little. We don’t drink beer so don’t try it. Cider was good. Sangria not the best especially since it has ice and was watered down. Overall, worth a stop if you’re hungry!
Sabrina K — Google review
Great space, easy to get to with plentiful parking close by. Brisket was great and I loved their Hefeweizen. The Mac and cheese and Coke were both really good as well. I really enjoyed my visit. Ribs had great flavor and were tasty.

Cool spot off Alameda with a nice wine and craft beer list. The wine was great, but the service was very slow- only 1 waitress for the entire night. Food was hit or miss, but really enjoyed the charcuterie board. Great concept but missing the finishing touches expected for the $$$.

We came during Spring break for dinner. We ordered a whole bunch tapas. Our favorite were baked Brie and shrimp ceviche. The rest of our choices were blend (fish ceviche). Muscles and salmon (in salmon with artichoke and asparagus) were overcooked. We enjoyed the strawberry and basil cocktails.

Absolutely the best when it comes to friends and a great meeting spot. Nice restaurant with Amazing food and customer service. Went two days in a row while working in CC. Both evening the service was excellent. Abby was our service the first night recommended the nachos and they were soooo good. We had the enchiladas verdes and carne asada tacos with an espresso martini. The second night we had Alise as our waitress. Again greeted with a smile and excellent service! We tried the nachos again! They just as delicious as the first night. Then had Tinga tacos and poblano soup. Really the nachos are a meal in itself! Thanks ladies again for excellent service and to the chef thanks for the wonderful food!

My only complaint was that this restaurant looks really dirty. The white/black tile floor looks like it has never ever been cleaned, and the round lights above the bar are filthy and dusty. Who knows what the kitchen looked like? Over the food was pretty good, but it just needs a good cleaning.

My body was in full ecstasy , shout out to chef and staff , I’m gonna go smoke a stogey and relax on the beach ILL BE BACK FOR MORE

Overall: This is a great place to get nice food and drinks. This place has so much potential and id love to see it packed on a Saturday night. I love going out for drinks and this place will be on our rotation from now on. Atmosphere: My bf and I came here on a Saturday night around 9:15 pm. For most of the meal, we were the only people there. It’s a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful and well stocked bar. It was kind of awkward halfway through the meal because they turned off the music and it added to the fact that no one was there. I was confused because I thought they were closed and we were overstaying our time because of it. We wanted to get another round of drinks but we elected to leave because it was awkward. Service: Jayden was our server tonight. She was so kind and knowledgeable of the menu. I appreciated that she took the time to explain everything to us and showed genuine enthusiasm for the dishes and drinks. They offer Acquia Panna as their water which is always a good sign in a restaurant, especially since corpus tap water is horrible. Drinks: Fantastic and a great value!! For the quality, drinks are so affordable. Not pictured, but we also go the mole Manhattan. They served it with a Luxardo cherry so that was a great sign. It featured mole bitters which added a nice spice flavor (maybe star anise or cinnamon) to the drink. Pineapple pisco was delicious. It had a good amount of alcohol and it wasn’t too sweet. It was the second time I had pisco and the sourness of the pineapple and the egg white foam complemented it well. About $10 - $15 a drink. We moved here from Dallas and this establishment was comparable to some of the places we frequent (like Paradiso but cheaper lol). This bar alone should be keeping the place packed at night but for whatever reason, this isn’t the case. Our server explained that this area is a residential area with an older population but that shouldn’t matter because Corpus Christi is small to begin with so it’s not like people would have to drive far to get here. Perhaps people don’t know about it? Or maybe cocktail bars aren’t popular here? Food: food was delicious! Jayden recommended the Queso fundido to us which was excellent. The salsas it came with were great and had a good spice level. Agua chile had a beautiful presentation. I do wish the shrimp had absorbed more of the flavor of the liquid. Robalo was so good! I love a whole fried fish and I’m so glad we ordered this. It was more than enough to share. They only gave us 2 corn tortillas with it though so next time I hope they offer a few more. The carnations as decorations were kind of unnecessary though. We will be back and I hope next time this place will be packed as it should be!

Located at the corner of Taylor and Mesquite Street, The Gold Fish is a unique outdoor Biergarten-style bar that was once a 1900s gas station. It offers a rustic and old-school ambiance, making it a popular spot for locals to unwind. The bar is known for its carefully crafted cocktail menu, with the STX Heatwave Margarita being a standout featuring raspberry, citrus, and fresh jalapeno.
For this visit, we stopped here for cocktails and debriefing. This was an excellent choice (though we wished they at least had an appetizers menu). The open space seating is amazing, and the lighted faux tree outside gives the space a cool vibe.

Gold Fish is easily my favorite bar in Corpus. Best Old Fashioned in town, no question—and the rest of the cocktails are just as solid. The bartenders know what they’re doing and always take care of you. Real laid-back vibe, good music, and just an all-around great spot to unwind. If you go, ask about the cucumber-infused waters—sounds fancy, but it’s actually super refreshing. Can’t beat this place.

In downtown corpus you will not find a better place to drink. There are two bar areas and a cute outdoor patio. The inside is a former dry cleaner and quite small but air conditioned. I love drinking here. No food is available, but with it being so close to several restaurants it’s the perfect beginning to a date night or girls night.

Great spot in Corpus. There doesn’t appear to be many good cocktail bars in Corpus, but I reckon this is the best. Great drinks, nice atmosphere, at reasonable price. Would absolutely return.

The establishment has been top notch since my first visit. Great vibes, great location, great drinks. If you luck out - you’ll get Shelby as your bar tender. The venue boasts a relaxed atmosphere with friendly bartenders and now serves BarbQ alongside an impressive selection of drinks. Guests can enjoy the outdoor garden patio or take part in activities like shuffleboard and poker.
Very clean. VERY friendly. Better prices for the exact same food as the other place. You got yourself a new customer.

The Texan has very reasonably priced drinks. The selection of draft beer is good and served cold. Pool, darts, and an expansive & well landscaped outside area are available.

This place has a great atmosphere, 2 pool tables, a shuffle board, a jukebox that connect to your phone, and a poker game machine. They have some of the coolest bartenders and are now serving BarbQ! The smell breaks me everytime, I end up ordering the pulled pork sandwich! Also they have one of the best bloody Marys around! Like I'm not kidding! I'm a bloody Mary girl an have been looking for the best in corpus Christi and I have to sayyyy... I think I have found it here at the Texan! They have IPA beer and let's not forget to mention they have cheaper prices.

Love this bar, it's one of the only two I really care to go to in corpus. It's not a trendy or upscale tavern, it's a bar where everyone who walks in and knows how to act is welcome. Occasional rock bands play on weekends, other than that it's never really crowded, but there's always a good crowd :-) Best patio in town, with a large BBQ pit where anyone can come responsibly cook on, they might even supply some lighter and foil if you look like you know what you're doing, and brought enough to share... did I mention there's a zero tolerance for drama? 'Nuff said huh~

If you're on the hunt for a vibrant dining experience, look no further than HardKnocks Sports Grill. This beloved local gem offers an energetic atmosphere perfect for catching your favorite sports games, thanks to its impressive array of 83 HD televisions and ample seating options. The menu is a delightful mix of classic pub fare like juicy burgers, crispy wings, and hearty sandwiches alongside healthier choices such as fresh salads and grilled chicken.
Great spot for a good meal with many options on the menu. It’s more of a bar vibe with a ton of tables and large restaurant area. Lots of TVs with sporting events showing. It is very kid friendly though. The burgers, chicken bacon ranch sandwiches and salmon were all very good meals! I was surprised how good the meals were. We were also able to take our golf cart here via a back road from the beach which was super fun!

our server Priscilla did excellent! food was amazing. i got the bacon chicken sandwich and she suggested to get it fried and tossed in sause. that was the best chicken sandwich i had. not to mention the fries were different and great too! and the drinks were refreshing. plenty of space inside and out, and had a few arcade games.. this was probably my favorite place to eat on our trip, we will definitely be coming back again when we visit!

Disclaimer: we possibly went on an off night where staff must have called off. We were set immediately and the service was good. The food took forever (about an hour). My food took even longer and when it arrived the shrimp were over cooked and not good. My wine glass was dirty. My husband didn’t enjoy his food and his fries were cold. It was a total disappointment.

Thanks Nicole! We enjoyed our Shrimp Diablo - Mac Brown burger and buffalo chicken wrap plus Twinkie’s for dessert! Highly recommend - will come again! AMAZING FOOD!!!!! OFF THE CHAIN!!!! Service was good but the hustle and enthusiasm are lacking. The dress code is frumpy and is not indicative of the quality of service and quality of the food and drinks. The professionalism needs a revamp as well. Overall everything is fantastic. LETS GET EXCITED ABOUT WORK is how I felt but you out can’t go wrong here and the staff is doing their best. Management needs to change a few things and there will be 5 stars across the board.

This place is so spacious and clean! Our bartender Sierra was so pleasant to talk to and super helpful on some island secrets and food joints. Tuna Steak was delicious and cooked to perfection grilled Zucchini was amazing and sweet potatoes fries were just a touch too burnt, otherwise I still finished my delicious plate, my husband and I were so pleased they were open on a Monday. Can’t wait to come back and have a back up place to enjoy some food, sports, and cold beer during the week! We loved it here! Thanks HardKnocks🫶🏼

My wife and I wandered into this place after a ballgame and once we sat down in the patio area, we knew we'd spend the rest of the evening there. People were more well-behaved than I would have expected. Didn't have to wait long for drinks and the band was fun... Can't ask for more!

Great atmosphere and good energy. There are no waitresses so you have to go to the bar. There is a $5 cover and on some days you ask yourself why. Great selection of alcohol. They have a patio in the back so go and check it out. They have live bands all the time.

We visited this place on “work night” , and it was fairly nice vibe, I’m pretty sure this is a banger in the weekend, but we did wanna celebrate our training being done and it was really great, the local bartender was very nice and helpful, they were able to make a nice mocktail and helped my colleague with quite a variety of drinks, they also have pools tables if I could say the sticks needs a bit of a upgrade but hey it’s a bar! Still had fun and they played oldies and songs up to date, so I loved it.

Went for the first time and they had a wonderful band playing. There is a dance floor as well as a whole room for seating. The drinks are appropriately priced.

This place is delicious! Everything is so fresh and tasty! We had the 2 big poke bowl (3 proteins). Salmon, tuna, scallops, octopus, the wasabi aioli sauce was amazing. Will definitely return to try more things. Their milk tea was super tasty as well. Very good prices for what you get!

Well this place is good for drinks it is on the beach is the only thing I could see that was good along with the service. The food well that's a different story. The menu is limited and everything was way overpriced and didn't taste good at all. The salsa was nasty the red salsa tasted like oregano way to much. They have no seating inside so if it's windy ur eating dirt and fighting the wind. Difnetly do not recommend this place other better place to eat. The price I don't mind but the food was like long John silvers.

If I could rate the food with 0 stars, I would. My husband and I shared the parrillada plate this afternoon during our first visit back since the restaurant reopened. This was honestly one of the worst meals I have had in Corpus in years. To start, there was no seasoning to the chicken or steak fajita meat, the vegetables had little to no sear/saute to them, and the rice was flavored in such a way that I forced myself to swallow the one bite I took. You can also tell that the chips and tortillas are store bought/mass produced versus an in house preparation that you would expect. Our server was incredible, and truly understanding of our concerns. However, when we spoke to the general manager, as he was the only manager on duty at the time, he heard us out, but seemed very surprised at our concerns. I can’t complain too much, as he did discount our food by about 20%, but we still walked out paying $50 for food (plate, chips and salsa, two teas, and a house margarita that was mostly sour mix) that was 100% not worth it and made me sick to my stomach. My hope is that over time they will improve and find a way to increase their quality. I’d like to say we will try again someday, but I don’t feel that it would be an honest statement.
Caitlin G — Google review
As my husband and I being first time visitors to the Corpus Christi area looking for nice beaches to visit as well as places to get a drink by the beach we definitely found our new favorite spot! I had asked the front desk at our hotel the Omni where a good place to get a drink with a view on the beach was and she referred us here! Jessica was warm and welcoming she met us at the door and gave us our menus, we then ordered drinks at the bar and we went out to the patio area and I was swinging away with a drink in my hand just watching the waves roll up to the beach!!! 🏖️ Hands down better than ANY beach side place to get food and a drink that we ever went to in Florida by far. The atmosphere and views are by far the best I’ve found anywhere amongst our travels thus far. Check it out!! You will not be disappointed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The knowledgeable staff are on hand to guide patrons through the extensive beer options, ensuring everyone finds their perfect match. Tapology or, Taps, as the goers call it. Is fun! I've been coming here for a while. They have an ametur (but so funny) comedy thing here sometimes. There's TONS of beer on tap (as the name would suggest) and the bartenders are everything!! Every. Single. One. Of them. Is. Awesome. I said what I said. There's a couple pool tables. Though, the pool sticks leave a lot to be desired. People don't come here for that, they come for the beer on tap and whatever sporting event is on. I usually spend my time sitting in the seating area that's scattered with different colored sun shades and cool signs lining the walls and a very dignified cat! I smoke and write in my journal when no one I know is around and, when there are; I spend time with them. No matter what though, I feel happy when I'm here. Oh! And also!!! Heh! There's arcade games and shuffleboard and an app based music player that you can use by downloading the app! It's honestly total legit news. 🍍 😊 Lastly, say, "hi" to Raquel. She's the best human and deserves all the love.

GREAT local pub with a fabulous craft beer selection. Super chill atmosphere. Excellent bartenders who'll happily serve you a pint of Barrel Aged Temptress or a fancy shot of tequila. One of the best bars in Corpus Christi, TX. Taylor is a master of the craft. If you want a true "old fashioned" done correctly, this is the place. Guinness is poured correctly and smooth to the finish. If your in the area, stop by and grab a drink. You will not be disappointed. A+ RECOMMENDED

i LOVE flock, however, the blonde girl that usually works at the end of the bar is so rude. my first encounter with her was a few weeks ago on my best friends birthday. we had waited 10-15 minutes to get served a drink and when asking for a dressed beer she replied with “if it’s draft i’m not doing that. it just makes a mess,” in the worst attitude i’ve ever seen a bartender have. (if you tilt the cup the other way and don’t get salt IN the beer it wouldn’t be a mess!) thankfully we wanted a bottle so we blew it off. she pretty much ignored us the rest of our time there even tho we were sitting right in front of her. the second interaction was last night, i was waiting in “line” for 15 minutes or so and was about to order when a guy cut me off, pushed me to the side, and jumped ahead, i looked at her and mouthed the words “i was here first but okay” hoping to make light of the situation and that’s when she backed up, stopped what she was doing, and yelled out “there is no firsts here” and visibly scoffed and waved her hands at me. i wish you could see and understand how nasty this girl sounded and the facial expressions she gives her customers. we didn’t order anything and just left. would’ve been at least a $50+ tab (and good tip!) that they missed out on.

Disabled Veteran here (Marine) let me stay this was only my second time at this establishment but 0 out of 10 experience. I was denied entry with my service dog (golden retriever) after seeing one there the week prior. I apologized once denied entry by the Lady at the front (yes she had glossy eyes and alcohol on her breath) and stated “I didn’t know they weren’t allowed. I’m sorry” I said. She then replied with “oh they are allowed but they have to be service dogs.” I then told her “oh I’m a Marine and he is a service dog”. She then stated “well I don’t care. I don’t believe you.” I lightly brush it off and say “I get it I do have all his paperwork tho if you need to see it” she replied with “ Since you wanna keep arguing, I’ll just go inside and call the cops” and she left. I asked the other people around me that we’re outside waiting to get in if I done something wrong And they replied with “nah man she’s usually pretty chill but to be honest tonight she’s tripping you didn’t even say anything.” Still not really sure what I did wrong but definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody if they treat everybody like that. Thanks for my service I guess.

I have been an avid enthusiast of the nightlife for some years. I visited this bar as the nightlife in Corpus Christi suffers from an apathetic socio economic segregation inherent in its identity. I visited on a Monday, and was treated rather coldly when I inquired to use the pool table. I was informed it was “broken”. I asked for a Pottsville and sat drinking it quietly, and slowly. I amused myself drawing right triangles and felt at home with the graduate students who brought their laptops and work with them. I went to the restroom and when I returned the bartender had poured out my beer and my notes were in the hands of an intoxicated and latent patron, enthralled more by my beauty than mathematical prowess. I was given another beer, and more paper.

Actually the best bar in Corpus. Especially Lyndsey, she’s so nice and welcoming. Service is always great. Definitely recommend

This bar mistreats people. I panned from the bar because one day, when the bartender was happy to serve me many drinks to make money until I felt unwell, I did the right thing and went to the restroom to throw up I don’t know where is the wrong thing in that Such a bad attitude, and they should watch what is illegal happening in the restroom instead

Very cool laid back local bar. Fair priced drinks, and great beer and bourbon selection. Pool table and beer pong offered. 👍🇺🇸💯 🥃

I feel that the overall ambience of the place is nice and chill. I tried the Texas old-fashioned and the berry smash and felt like they were made with perfectly balanced ingredients. Looking forward to trying other items on the cocktail menu.

Have been coming to this bar for years. Love it. But today is my first bad experience. The service was very very bad. 8 people in the bar all men. Bartender female hovered around the men. my wife and I waited 35 minutes she never acknowledged us I had get her attention.when the bartender came on at 6pm the service change a 100%. The service was great like it usually is. My wife and I met the bartender she checked on us and was very friendly she gave us her name it was Kimmie

The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing. The clientele are a bit older which is great because you don't get all that drama you would expect in a much younger crowd. You can actually go have a cold beer or a mix drink with out worrying about the rowdiness. Since the first time I went, I loved it. Now I guess I'm a regular. The staff are super friendly and they love to chat with you.

This charming eatery offers an array of dishes that cater to every palate, from appetizers and hearty main courses to fresh salads and sandwiches—all crafted with locally sourced ingredients. The outdoor patio provides a stunning backdrop for your meal as you soak in breathtaking sunset views over the water while sipping on specialty craft cocktails from their bar menu.
Our dining experience was excellent. The food was fresh and delicious. Our waiter was outstanding, and the atmosphere was relaxing, refined, and had a beautiful view of the water. A visit to the gift shop next door is well worth it. They have unique and local artist items for purchase.

This was our first visit to Gallery41. We started with some wine and the pineapple jalapeño Margarita which we felt were perfectly mixed. We then shared the crab cakes and Mary appetizer - the Bloody Mary shot was a unique twist and my husband said if brunch is as good as the Mary shot then we would definitely be stopping in again. We also shared the blackened drum and honey glazed carrots, finishing off our meal with Creme brûlée for desert. We sat outside during our meal and enjoyed the shade, the breeze, & the view of the bay. Overall the atmosphere is great and the staff attentive. Our server Ben was top notch and very friendly. We definitely recommend Gallery41, not only for the vibe, but for the food and the staff.

Meet Ryder and the rest of the team at Gallery 41. The crew takes you on an exceptional culinary experience. We took Ryder's suggestion, the Garden Vegetables Puff Pastry. It was amazing. Our entreés were Seared Duck Breast and Crab Salad, both were accompanied with amazing dressings and sauces. We ended the lunch day with a Cappuccino and Creme Bruleé. The food is well-balanced in flavors, portions, and so memorable. Beautiful crew and beautiful view at Gallery 41!

I came here to treat myself to a small birthday lunch and this was such an incredible option!! The food is incredible, well crafted and handmade in shop. I got the shrimp fresco, beef kebab and the chocolate churro cake — all highly recommended! Portions are great for cost, and for such a gorgeous menu, atmosphere and staff, the prices are incredibly reasonable. Specific shoutout for my serger Paulina — she was so wonderful, and helped make my day a little more special! The chef personally delivered the cake ( with a candle for my birthday! ). I unfortunately don’t live in the area but I absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting or local — I can’t say enough wonderful things about my visit ☺️☺️☺️

Cocktails were great, vibes were there, and service was quick and knowledgeable. Our Waiter Savage was very helpful in his recommendations. I ordered the duck and in my humble opinion, the entree could have been stronger. While cooked nicely within, the skin and fat wasn’t very rendered and I could have used a nicer texture on that. I don’t believe it was clear that there would be lavender as a garnish, and the blueberry sauce was lost under it. The mushroom app could use a lot more zip and possibly salt (allepo and citrus zest?) but the fried green tomatoes were on point. Overall a solid experience, I’ll be back to check out more on the menu.

Lorelei Brewing Company, established in 2016, is a prominent craft brewery in the city. Their canned brews are widely available but tasting them at the speakeasy-like taproom with a stone bar and local art is an experience not to be missed. The taproom offers popular options like Khryseis, a bright blonde ale with citrus and malt flavors, and Ephyra Double IPA.
Super small place, with super good beer. Bar tender was super friendly and knowledgeable of the product. It did a flight, and tried 4 of their beers. The watermelon was my favorite. Super refreshing in the heat! You cant get any of their beer "to-go," however she told me in September they will start doing crowlers and growlers!!! Woo!

Enjoyed my visit to this brewery very much! Jessica, Brewess / Jess of all Trades, was fantastic and very friendly. She helped me sample their current craft beer selection on tap and assisted me in my quest to take home some really cool swag! I'll definitely be on the lookout for what they've got going on! Congrats on a fine operation. I wish this brewery much success!
El M — Google review
This place is a really cool hangout. They have very friendly staff and bar games available. There’s also a fire pit outside for winter seating. The only reason I’m not giving this place 5 stars is because the three available IPA’s weren’t that great in my opinion. I’ll go back and try them again though, maybe give this place a higher rating. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!
Mike K — Google review
The bartender was very nice and they've got t-shirts and pins for sale as well as promotional pins if you.like souvenirs. I went with a good friend and we both had beer flights to try out the brews on offer followed by a glass of our favorite. Three of the five small glasses were really tasty, one was okay and the final one was sour and bitter. The Merdude beer was my favorite. A few days later, I discovered Merdude in cans at the local liquid town. Yea!

Been loving this brewery and all their brews for a few years now. Bonus on this trip: think there might be a couple new additions in the form of brewery cats! South Bluff Park is a lovely outdoor space with picnic tables, trees, and a playset for children. It also features pickleball courts that are popular among visitors. Despite some homeless individuals using the park as a resting place, they are respectful and contribute to keeping the area clean. The park provides a pleasant environment for various activities and is known for its relaxed atmosphere.
Nice clean, quiet RV park.
William M — Google review
This park is over run with homeless druggies, and lots of drive by pick up drug traffic throughout the day and night. The park is dirty with lots of litter, bottles and cans despite the city putting plenty of litter bins around the property. But worse then the careless people are the amount of wild dogs that follow them and are not under anyones control. They make the park very scary. They wander in packs and can be quite aggressive to people walking on the street. Definitely bring a big stick or mace if you need to walk by here. You might need to use it on the wild dogs. No facilities for people needing to use a toilet. No water fountain visible, but i really didn't go searching for one.

I would not bring my family to this park except to play pickleball. Just a rough part of town that looks neglected. I only played pickleball which was super nice and, first the first time ever, grateful that they charge $4 to enter the tennis and pickleball courts. Feels very safe and clean on the courts.

I know you can't help what happens in someone's life but there are so many homeless at this park. We took our daughter to play and one man was urinating behind a tree in plain sight of where my daughter and i were at. My husband asked him to go some where else. My daughter couldn't ride her bike or run around much because of the homeless and we also found a used needle on the walk path heading home.

The Pearl is a waterfront restaurant offering a delightful oyster experience with fresh Gulf and East Coast oysters served in various styles, including herb garlic butter, parmesan, and herbed panko crust. The menu also features house-made flavor infusions for an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant's scenic location by the water provides a beautiful atmosphere during the day and at sunset.
Seating is awkward and tight especially if you are bringing a stroller but the views and vibes are very nice! The Cajun boil is great and not super spicy. It’s loud so definitely make sure your waitstaff heard your request. Definitely feeds a lot of people and the crawfish are big and meaty.
Adrianna E — Google review
Came for the oysters which were good. The greek salad was pretty small for 10.00. The Crab Jalapeño poppers were good. The food was generally ok, not spectacular. The waitress was really nice and the atmosphere was good. The windows were open so we felt like we were sitting outside which was nice.
Lanette F — Google review
We called before and they told us the wait would be 30min. Getting there, after a minute, the wait was 45mim. After waiting 45mim, we were told there was no crawfish, very upsetting but that’s fine! We order a shrimp boil (Nitro spicy) and was delicious but too spicy, in case you cant stand spicy foods don’t order it! My stomach is killing me. We waited a lot for our foods, specially a baked potato that took longer than all the boils and other food we got. Our server, Dallas, was perfect. He was amazing to us and gave a very good service. The view is amazing and worth checking out!
Maria C — Google review
This is something I never do but for this place it is a must. My family and I have never been so invisible to a waitress as we were today. First off we get there and our waitress comes right away and gets our drink and appetizer order and it comes out quick. My wife goes to roll out her napkin and a super long hair is rolled up in it. No big deal it happens but I try to get our waitress attention and she never looks over at our table. Our appetizer is getting cold so after about 10 minutes of me Signaling her and her not looking our way I get up and go ask her for one which she’s very nice and Apologetic. Ok after eating our appetizer we wait 55 minutes for our food and there’s only 7 people eating in the whole restaurant. Our food finally comes and we get two bland tuna salads she did get the feta taken off mine thanks for that. We have over cooked shrimp and a plan old hamburger for 96 dollars before the trip. We always tip even though on this occasion we shouldn’t have but we did. Oh and we had to go ask for our check after being done with our dinner for 20 minutes. If you’re looking for a place to come have a drink with unlimited time with a beautiful view this is your place. If your coming from a day at the beach with your family and your looking for some awesome seafood and you don't have 2 hours to kill this is not your place. I don’t think we will go back anytime soon if ever which sucks because we have ate here before and it was good.
Todd C — Google review
We loved it. Shrimp boil was delicious with shrimp being 2-3 times the size of the average shrimp served in Dallas.

Shelby was amazing! Best personality and server of the week and on her very first day! Views and food was spectacular. We will be back.

Snoopy‘s is a great place to be when the sun is setting. There are two parts to Snoopy’s pier, the area with the fried food and the area with the oyster bar. This was the part with the oyster bar that has its own separate menu from the main part of Snoopy’s. We got a spot right at the edge of the balcony close to sunset and ordered an appetizer and the seafood tower. The fried calamari was quite a large serving for two people to finish. We ordered the seafood tower, which comes in either the half or full serving. We recommend the half serving for two or three people with an appetizer, and the full tower, only if you have three or more people. It was quite a lot of food, and we were unable to finish. Everything in the tower had good flavor, the seafood was very fresh and overall was a good meal. The mixed drinks were also very refreshing, I tried both mango daiquiri, and strawberry margarita. Great cold icy drinks for a hot day.

As a local on Padre Island, I love having The Pearl as a restaurant option! I love going by boat for lunch and apps, and just recently went for dinner. Whether you grab a dozen fresh oysters (I recommend Blackjack Point oysters from Aransas Bay) or get a full entree, you'll leave happy! Baily has been my waitress multiple times and I hope she continues to be! She's attentive and kind, and always makes the visits very pleasant. At one point I asked about a sauce, just merely because it was delicious, and she was back right away with the answer. Favorite dinner dishes are the crab stuffed shrimp and surf n turf!

We were looking for a waterfront location to have a drink once in awhile along with some good entertainment. Found this place right on the bay. Two floors to sit on with a great view and live music. We were here on a Tuesday and it was open mic night. They had some great amateur guitar players and singers. I would imagine this is the place to be during spring break.

Best off-the-beaten-path dog-friendly Caribbean-style Sunday hangout spot!! Wow, score! Great layout with swinging barstools, swinging chairs, wooden tables, amazing 2nd story upper shaded deck where you can watch the boats go by, great standup birdwatching 🦜rail along both lower and upper deck. ⛵🚤🛥️ Drive your boat and tie-up! They have TV's around the bar to watch your fav Sunday team. 🍺🍹🥃The dynamic bartending duo, Dawn & Nick were super cool and made me feel right at home. (PS - don't ever call Dawn, "Erica." Really. It puts her in a bad mood.) 😉 🍔🍟 Rudy & Wendy serve up the food and are just as welcoming and friendly as Dawn & Nick--the whole place just felt friendly. 🤪 🌮 The real delight was the beef street tacos with Rudy's handmade habenero salsa--perfect amount of heat and fantastic flavor. TIP: (You order the food at the bar, listen for them to call your name, then Rudy or Wendy will hand you your food from their food trailer just to the right of the inside bar.) 🌞 This is one of those rare authentic places you feel lucky to discover. A genuinely fun and relaxing atmosphere that reminds me of secret places I've visited in the Caribbean. Say hello to Dawn, Nick, Rudy, and Wendy--they'll take care of you. 🔱 Ah, and if you see a big'ole black tomcat 😽 that's "Jameson." (He owns the place, and he doesn't suffer dogs nicely.)

Speedys Snacks is a popular spot with an updated menu and daily specials featured on their Facebook page. The Piccadilly snow cone, though the pickle flavor was strong, had small ice that hardened in some spots. Customers enjoy the leche canela raspa and rave about the great service. The nachos are generously topped with cheese and reasonably priced. Regulars love the Angelito's and Picadilly's, as well as the excellent licuados and aguas frescas.

Went on Monday for funnel cake she told us they only had them on Wednesday. Got a banana split, and a snocone instead. Both were really good! Then went back today for a funnel cake and it was really good! The dreamsicle snocone is a little lacking in flavor but it’s not bad! I definitely recommend them. The food does have a little bit of a wait due to it being made fresh but it’s not too bad maybe 5 minutes give or take. The lady working is also really nice!

Update: I visited this place again. They have an updated menu and I usually check out their Facebook page for special of the day. I tried their Piccadilly snow cone. The pickle flavor was throughout the cup. However the ice is the key to a good or great snow cone. This place has small ice, not very thin, which causes it to harden and makes it hard to eat on some spots. I have tried this place before. I bought a raspa with a topping of cream for $2.50 as advertised on their Facebook page. For someone that tries to venture and ask for recommendation, the lady was not very helpful and their outside menu needs some clarity. But this was a great tasting raspa!

This place feels like what I imagine hell to be. The service is terrible. I was sent back and forth between different departments, and they lack any communication. All I requested was an old transcript, and they seem unable to resolve the issue. I'm hearing different information from everyone. Needless to say, I will NEVER be taking any more classes at the Del Mar Heritage campus to avoid dealing with their customer service. It takes them at least three weeks to process any request, no matter how small. And don't even think about trying to order your transcript from here; they will make you work for it. I would say that trying to obtain my transcript from this place was 1,000 times more difficult than the microbiology course itself. I only took one course here, one, you would think it would be easy to get anything done with the admin office. But, alas, it has been the most frustrating experience.

The Enrolment process is enraging. I called the admissions and registration office several times and they said that a letter of unenrolment or a transcript is acceptable. A month after the letter was sent with no emails or calls. I decided to call back. And to my dismay not only was I given wrong information but I was also not able to enrol in classes because they need 50 dollar official transcripts from everyone. Also the emails they gave me was not the right email any of that needed to get sent to. As well as the person I was originally transferred to back in may and April, was a call center not the actual college. People here need to get a grip on things and not give people false info before they spend thousands of dollars on a move only to find out they cannot enrol in classes.

Bookstore smells very much of body odor I felt very ill being in their store and I’ll not be going to the bookstore anymore

This place is so worth it! All my teachers and my advisor were that absolute best. They all worked with me if something came up in my work schedule or with my son. You can tell that everyone here genuinely wants you to succeed!
Maria — Google review
Alright. Bringing my review down a star. If I could bring it down another star, I would. This school is an absolute mess. Instructors bombard you with work, regardless of if you're a part-time student, or a full-time student. Signed up for part-time, because my advisor recommended it to me, due to the fact that I got a full-time job, a wife, and a dear little kitty to take care of. So first semester was a breeze. THIS semester, oh boy, has this instructor been a headache. Constantly moving due dates, giving harder tests, gives vague videos that do no explaining how to solve the problems. The staff always has an attitude here, still, and still, they seem to always send me in circles and tell me to look on the website for my answers. They don't seem to know their own academic calendar, either. This school lacks motivation and communication to help students pass. Everyone here is lazy. They expect you to already know everything here. All in all, save your money and time, do not go to this college. You're better off going elsewhere. Don't cripple yourself with student debt with lazy people. Fight through it if you're already here.

I was late to a show because I couldn’t find the auditorium. No maps around the campus, their webpage on location was all text about how great the campus is. If this can change, I will give a better rating.

Bar
The Brick Bar & Bites is a lively sports bar with 20 beers on tap, a full bar, and a carefully curated food menu. It's the perfect spot to catch your favorite sports teams in action while enjoying pool tables and basketball arcade games. While they no longer serve food from their kitchen, you can have delicious options delivered from nearby eateries. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are known for their friendly and hospitable service.
They don't serve food from the kitchen any longer, but you can order food to be delivered. We got an excellent pizza from the place next door. The atmosphere was really great, and the staff/owners were very friendly and hospitable. Spent much more time here than we usually do at bars, and had a blast!

Great clean place love it could use a few more heaters outside for the patio during the cold but over it was fun love it and would definitely go back again. The restroom are clean and bartenders are great for recommending good drinks.
Jenifer T — Google review
the bartender tried charging us for drinks we didn’t order . Wasn’t busy at all. My friend & I were playing a game of pool at first , tried to put a song on the juke box , mind you we used 4 tokens to get ahead of queue … 3 songs played … I thought okay people obviously put songs on queue.. right Our one song we paid for .. never played .. we tried it from two different phones (my friend and I) Her phone & mine . Never played the song.. well. okay fine , we asked to speak to the manager because we tried playing a song on the jukebox BEFORE the dj came and really we just wanted the song & just drink n chill. but they tried to make us just ask the dj… he came around 30 minutes AFTER we were trying to play the song …we really thought it would’ve played by then . If we paid for the jukebox & it never played at least give us our money back or tell dj to play the ONE song in queue right away or something because why am I paying for the juke box for it not to work…. I’m a server as well & I understand wait times , even at bars & all but this was pretty shocking because it really wasn’t packed & we tried to wait it out & also asked two different people to speak to someone & we weren’t taken seriously, then the bartender wanted to randomly say “$15.50” when we didn’t order any drinks yet what so ever because she had already came up to us & asked what we wanted which we communicated we were waiting on the manager to speak to us again. just going to take a shot and leave at that point since they weren’t playing anything we PAID for… we went to “The social” instead where we finished our night laughing with good vibes & having a great time.
Stacey S — Google review
I have a decent time at this sports bar that transforms into a lounge at night. The crowd, mostly in their mid-twenties to mid-thirties, creates a nice atmosphere for watching games and fights. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the best part is that there's no cover charge for fights. A solid spot for a Saturday. One issue is despite there being so many bartenders, sometimes you can feel a little ignored while they gather together or with their friends.
Greg — Google review
The place is garbage. It's empty on a Sunday and won't even let us in while it was slow, just because one of our friends has slippers on. That's pretty lame, and the place is bad.
Dennis P — Google review
The bartenders are some dry haters. I don’t know her name but I always go up there and she always takes forever to serve our group and when she does talk with us she is dull with an attitude. One time she even just asked the security guard to escort us out because I said something about to her about her constant disrespect, and I just leave her alone but sometimes she is the only bartender but most of the bartenders are slow and uneducated on drinks. Anyways, she has been there for years and has tattoos with dark hair and pretty girl with a stank attitude. We always walk there from Social and I always tell my group why do we always waste our time coming over, we are better off at The Social.
Justine G — Google review
Screw this place! We were there and being quiet, mostly kept to ourselves but were promptly kicked out because we told the bartender we wanted to switch tabs (cancel mine and open my bfs tab) and were told we were MOUTHY with the bartender! Only a few words were ever said to her and nothing even bad just explaining what we wanted to do with smiles on our faces because we were having a good time until this happened! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT
Taylor C — Google review
I guess it depends on how popular you are if you'll be able to get in with visable tattoos. Wouldn't let me in with visable tattoos (non are gang related/vulgar/ offensive or hate speech) just flash art. (Couple guys behind me with a lot of tattoos were let into the bar) Discrimination at its best. You should love everyone.

Both of my parents are resting at Coastal Bend. The cemetery is always well kept and peaceful. We are happy to have chosen Coastal Bend for our parents and uncle. We visited on Memorial Day (which is also my father's birthday), and there was a nice event for all.

Dad was buried 5 months ago at the state cemetery. The staff were so helpful and compassionate. The service was beautiful and he would have been so proud. Our family is beyond appreciative and will always be grateful.

I cannot say enough how wonderful everyone was. I wish I could remember names to say a personal thank you to the staff, volunteers, guard - everyone involved. The respect and honor they showed my husband and the compassion they showed to me were deeply appreciated. I know they run on a tight schedule, but I never got that feeling. Again, thank you from my heart - my husband would have been so pleased.

St Matthew Baptist Church is a historically significant and diverse church that offers excellent services, powerful preaching, and a welcoming fellowship. It has stood the test of time as one of the black historical places, cherished by many for its blended service and strong sense of community. Whether attending a funeral or regular service, visitors appreciate the church's inclusive atmosphere and are grateful for its continued presence in the community.
St. Matthew Baptist Church is part of the body of Christ. It is a beautiful thing that God ❤️ loves, Christ died for and the Spirit empowers. I ❤️ Love my Church.

I went to this place in 2003. I was dealing with some serious legal and mental issues then. I was advised by the attorney, who Mr. Lane referred me to, to sit down and talk with Mr. Lane about what was going on with me. I tried to but him and the congregation turned their backs to me. THey refused to speak to me. He refused to visit me at the jail. The individual I was married to became a reverend and divorced me under the advice of Mr lane. I had never cheated on this man. Adultery was the only justification for divorce, according to God's word. I had some serious mental problems going on and he turned his back on me and left me to fend for myself. The attorney I was paying for turned his back on me. Mr. Lane referred me to this attorney, Walter Bryan or Bryant. This pastor, the attorney he referred me to and the individual I was married to at that time sat and did nothing to help me. They sat and watched as I became a scapegoat for the judge to use to get re elected in 2004. They allowed the state of Texas to use me as an example for their agenda. Thanks to this Pastor and that individual I was married to, I had a hard time believing that God loved me. Their actions showed me that I wasn't good enough for God to love. That Jesus didn't die for my sins. That my sins were too big for God to forgive. It took me a very long time to realize that the way they did me and showed God's love was wrong. When I got out in 2008, I tried contacting this Mr lane and he never would respond to my e-mails or return my calls. I tried many times and I never heard back from him. As for that individual I was married to, he kept my things in a storage the whole time I was incarcerated. I tried to set something up to retrieve my things but for whatever reason, he decided to not give me my stuff and let it be thrown away or auctioned off. Yea, some Christian love for you from this church.

The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including Greek specialties like dolmades and Greek salad, as well as pan-fried fish with caper wine sauce and ribeye steak. So we head great things about this place from a friend of mine, BUT when we went we had HORRIBLE service and the food was HORRIBLE as well. I ordered the chicken fried steak with twice baked potato's. The steak had no flavor and the twice baked potato tasted like a sour cream and onion potato chip, GROSS! So I then ordered some french fries to get some carbs in and they too were HORRIBLE they seemed as if they were cooked earlier then re-cooked to make them hot so they were all stale and to top it off they charged me for the fries after I only eat one! I would NOT go back here again!

Lived in CC for the past 8 years, last Saturday was my first time there. I was really suprised, from the outside there is not much to it. But the inside is done real nice, kind of a easy jazz retro feel to it. The London Broil was really good, my wife had the chicken alfredo, she said it was the best she ever had. We will go back.
