75 Grados is a popular club in Santo Domingo, known for its lively atmosphere and Latin beats. It's a favorite among young people and offers affordable sugary cocktails. The club attracts expats, tourists, and locals alike, making it a great place to meet new people. With two different atmospheres - one relaxed outside area and an energetic inside space - 75 Grados offers a unique experience. The music is loud, but the crowd is friendly and the security is praised as excellent.
Love the two different atmospheres of this place. One place outside which is a more relaxed and chill vibe and you have an inside area that's a go hard turn up vibe. Drinking out of a blender pitcher is new to me and unique so I enjoyed that, the staff was cool, I'd return.
Sid W — Google review
I love the concept a whole blender lol I certainly great idea one drink all night I was there for happy hour $300 pesos music was good i really will comeback
Wendy ( — Google review
Can't really say much about it because I didn't stay very long. I showed up at about 10:30 which, as we all know, is way too early to judge a lounge so naturally it was empty. Dress code is pretty relaxed but you can't wear sleeveless shirts. I removed 1 star because the music is painfully loud in the bar area. Other than this it seems like a cool spot where you get drinks straight from a blender.
Carlos B — Google review
This place seems nice but there was 0 hygiene, even with Covid 19 still here. I went on Wednesday and they had 2 for 1 pitchers, I had 2 pitchers the whole night and woke up to the worst headache in years.

An ok bar with not so good drinks. The prices are really affordable so nobody should complain about quality. The times I have visited this place I ordered a drink called "pez volador" which is an acceptable one, or beers. You can also order shots if you like. I recommend this to people on a budget but if you have the money to spend try going out to another place.
Javier D — Google review
Place looks nice, but not my cup of tea, didn't really like the atmosphere.
Viguhi M — Google review
The place was packed, the air conditioner was on point, drinks were great.

I went there on my last weekend in Santo Domingo. Actually the place *COULD* be very nice but unfortunately it was impossible to explore it with fun as it was crowded as hell - and it was impossible to move to the bar or for relaxed dancing.

Musical club
Shots Bar is a lively nightlife spot located in the historic center of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It's an adult entertainment venue offering a variety of alcoholic beverages and hosting events like live music sessions, concerts, and unique challenges. The bar features an outdoor patio for smoking and regularly introduces new attractions to keep the atmosphere vibrant. With an array of creatively named cocktails such as Brain Eraser and Paranoia, it's a popular choice for those seeking a fun night out.
It's a pop rock pub. Wide variety of shots and beer. Good for a fun time with friends if they enjoy singing to 2000's rock.

classic rock bar without the all the weird vibes you’d get in the states iykyk, good vibes, great people. shots are dirt cheap and they have tons creative variety. try the mamaíta
Rommel J — Google review
Shot is my secure spot, good rock, good ppl cheap alcohol(cheap not equals bad).
Ordanel G — Google review
If you're into rock, and/or wanna relive your emo-kid days, OR catch a dope tribute or band live - this is the place! It gets crowded but the energy is unbeatable. Great staff, good music, it's a good time! A/C is on full blast so if you're not in the middle of the crowd or it's a less busy night you might get a bit chilly.
Bex — Google review
If you go you you are guarantee to get drunk haha. The place features all kinds of creative and affordable shots. Very good rock music selection. The crowd is mostly very young adults that are still in College. Therefore, you might not feel that comfortable if you are in your late 20's or more.
Jose G — Google review
They use bad alcohol to prepare the shots. I drank like 2 shots and I was vomiting like crazy. You want to die, you can drink shots.
Denisse R — Google review
Nice bar to grab a quick drink or stay for a while with friends. Not much seating space. Playlist is good if it's your first visit, but after a few visits it becomes slightly repetitive. Most shots are DR$100 (around US$2.50)

Cocktail bar

Restaurant
El Atelier Bar/Cocina is a trendy spot that originally served as a showroom for a nearby boutique store, blending fashion and art with cocktails in a lively atmosphere. The drinks are crafted to reflect the tropical flavors of the island, featuring complex mixes like the Jarabe Pal'Alma, which reintroduces once-popular local ingredients to mixology. For light bites, guests can enjoy cassava tortilla tacos filled with shrimp and aioli.
I have visited a couple times already. Love to do so when I want good cocktails and want to try something different. Their selection of cocktails keeps being updated every now and then, as well as their menu, with great options to share. The place is not that big, and it gets a bit crowded on Weekends, so it's best to get there a bit early. The service is nice, and you can always count with good recommendations whenever you get there. I would trust them every time.
Julie U — Google review
Great handcrafted drinks, service was awesome. Definitely will come back! The Gauy! Was refreshing, sweet also had the Delirio Caribeño, it was smoky and spicy loved it!
Claire A — Google review
Summary: OK bar with OK drinks that are WAYYY overpriced with TERRIBLE service. Went here for after dinner cocktails with my wife, expecting to have a “proper cocktail bar” experience that we’re used to. We went inside the bar but there was only one customer, so no vibe inside. Decided to seat outside and there was just another couple having drinks. So, total of only three tables had customers. It took more than 10 minutes for someone to come acknowledge us. We asked for two drinks. After almost 20 minutes I had to go inside to ask where was our order, the waiter who was conversing with the bartender says with a sarcastic smirk “oh the order will be ready in a moment”. As soon as the waiter comes back with our drinks I asked for the check. I looked at it and they charged us $12.5 US dollars per drink. We ordered 2 classic cocktails (espresso martini and a margarita). At this point, I wasn’t even going to ask about the price and just paid and left. Shame that this is supposedly the best bar for cocktails in Santo Domingo. Horrible experience.
Oliver A — Google review
Best place in town. Period. Every time I come to SDQ I try to stop by this place (even if I order the same drink over and over again). Ownership is amazing (Shout out to Hugo!). Service of this place has raised the bar for other places. For example, I went there today at 4PM... They told me they were closed and would open in 1hr... Cool thing here was that they served us our drinks while they were getting ready to work... APPRECIATE THIS!! Waiters are also really polite. Reader: Dare to try new things!
Ivan V — Google review
Definitely the best bar in SD! Hamlet, the bartender is amazing at what he does, his drink recommendations are always on point. The atmosphere is always wonderful and not too crowded or loud. Perfect place to have a chill night.
Kapril A — Google review
Delicious cocktail 🍹🍸 with a large variety of options. They have a terrace and a few tables indoors. As Octubre 2023, the food menu is very limited.

Located in the heart of the metropolitan area, Marketcito offers a charming experience for creating memorable moments in a cozy atmosphere. Live music and exclusive events such as Formula 1 add to its appeal. Visitors have enjoyed bachelorette parties and group gatherings, praising the good food, live music, and overall ambiance. While some found the drinks satisfactory and appreciated the fast service, others recommended sticking to bottled beer.
Amazing food, drinks were ok but I would stick to bottled beer next time. DJ was playing a good selection of music, also the food came out fast.

Ordered the nachos was pretty bad like they put a lot of vinegar in it. Ordered the ceviche de camarón wasn't any shrimp in it. Ordred the filiet migion was super greasy like fried really nasty. Probably won't be returning here

As soon as the next day, you find out that your credit card was cloned at this restaurant and used to buy online. There is no way possible to rates the business with more than one ⭐️. I wish to be able to have a conversation with the manager or the owner.
SAFA T — Google review
The service was not that good, 1 waiter for two tables and we still had a long wait. Not to mention only one napkin was provided for two people, we were never asked if we wanted our refilled. I would have drank like 5 of the awesome rum citrus drinks. Over all music and food was good but service took away from the experience. I will not go here again, to many options out here to deal with mediocre service.
Luis A — Google review
Very good place to be with friends and share
Juan R — Google review
This place haves a lot of tables so you would think its a sit down and chill bar, where you can drink and have a conversation with your friends, but the loud music doesn't allow for this in some places of the bar where clearly you cannot dance either because its packed with chairs and tables. The place looks very nice and the servers are hot, though. Still not a place i would go to again
Eduardo F — Google review

Step into the luxurious and elegant atmosphere of Arturo Fuente Cigar Club, where you can indulge in exclusive cigar brands alongside fine food and drinks. The upscale interior and modern decor create a sense of luxury, making it an ideal spot for conversation over drinks and appetizers. With a wide array of Arturo Fuente cigars available, including their renowned cigar of the year, this club is a haven for cigar enthusiasts.
The absolute best selection, but unfortunately, if you are coming from the US, prepare to pay almost double the price, but it's a great destination, and I would highly recommend it. Just keep in mind it is marked up significantly.
Richard H — Google review
Service: 0 - horrible service and it’s like they don’t care, they literally make you feel like you are bothering them and is a favor that they allow you to enter. Food was excellent but will never come back. My husband loves their cigars and every time we come to the country we buy plenty to take back with us for him to also share with his friends but but I’m sure I can disuade him to go to another brand; I cannot give my money to a place that does not care about you.
Ana L — Google review
What an amazing spot! Arturo Fuentes Cigar Bar has the perfect ambience and décor—absolutely classy yet comfortable. The cigar selection is unique and one of the best we’ve seen, with options for every taste. We also ordered burgers, and honestly, they were the best we’ve had in a long time! The biggest surprise? This is the only cigar lounge we’ve ever been to where you don’t walk out smelling like an ashtray. The ventilation is incredible, which makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone who loves cigars, great food, and a top-notch atmosphere!
Alexandra M — Google review
One of or the most amazing place to have a cigar, great food and atmosphere
Arturo V — Google review
If you’re looking for a cigar lounge that beautifully demonstrates how not to run a cigar lounge, this is your spot. The interior looks fantastic — leather chairs, warm lighting, the kind of place where you imagine sinking in with a fine cigar and a good drink. Unfortunately, that fantasy gets extinguished faster than a damp match. The “welcome” desk was more of an anti‑welcome desk. I’ve seen border control officers who smiled more. At the bar, several waiters were huddled together in a kind of sacred ritual of scrolling their phones, apparently competing for the world championship in ignoring customers. When I asked about cigars, nobody moved. Nobody cared. Nobody even seemed remotely responsible for the actual cigar part of the cigar lounge. I half expected to be told to fetch my own from the humidor. So yes, the place looks nice – if you only want Instagram photos. But if you came for actual service, you might want to bring your own cigar, your own drink, and maybe even your own waiter.
Nicolaj A — Google review
It was a beautiful spot right in the heart of Santa Domingo. Loved the ambience and the staff was helpful. Was able to secure some good cigars at a reasonable price and a beautiful cigar cutter. Beautiful place in a beautiful country.
Erik N — Google review
Disappointed in my experience. As an avid cigar smoker, I anticipated a much friendlier, informative and enjoyable experience. The staff acted as if I wasn’t there from entering the parking lot to walking to the bar, no one greeted me until I had to flag someone down. After sitting down attempting to get the attention of a staff member, I find out that there’s a strict dress code that I was unaware of. Which led me to having to leave before even getting the opportunity to make any purchase. I will take my money to zona colonial moving forward.
E L — Google review
I recently visited the store in Santo Domingo. Lovely interior except the Cigar Lounge doesn’t open till 3 PM. I travelled all the way from California. I was looking forward to a nice opus x in their lounge and could not enjoy it because of the opening time is not advertised anywhere. In addition, the employees/staff were not very friendly and never once offered me a water or anything after buying a box of opus x’s. I frequent many cigar lounges throughout the world and they’re always friendly and very hospitable. Anyways, the staff should be spoken to about how to treat customers.

As far as vibe goes, 10/10 for ambiance, lights music and aesthetics. The dj was incredible the night that i went and i had so much fun dancing by the little stage setup they have. However, it’s definitely lacking in the diversity department, i was that darkest person there that night and i mean look at my profile pic..the drinks were a bit pricey and weren’t strong enough so just stick to shots or beer and yeah i feel like if you’re gonna do the elitist vibe thing you can make it more inclusive otherwise you’re doing yourself a disservice. I’d return though…with all my poc friends :) oh and the owner was a sweetheart so s/o to him i hope he takes some of these reviews into consideration.
Stella E — Google review
I had a month waiting to go check the bar for Halloween event, 2 days previews I write to the ig for information regarding the entrance if there were any cover fee....nothing, never answered, I called, no pick up. Fortunately my friend called and got a hold of someone, answered the were no fees but forgot to mention a reservation has to be made. So us two, along with other groups that had the same luck, went down there to get stopped at the entrance by their gorillas security with lack of empathy. I have never been so irritated. This site and ppl lack of professionalism. Really bad first experience.
Katherine L — Google review

Joel M — Google review
Nice place for loud music and dancing.
Pablo S — Google review
As far as clubs go, La Gloria is a pretty good one. However, this opinion drastically depends on whether or not you're willing to give in to their elitist criteria for letting people in. It's one thing to have some sort of semi formal dress code, and another is to belittle those who dare show up in a t-shirt without knowing any of the bouncers. Club's great though. Lights are pretty much turned all the way off so you can dance your worries away.
Rafael — Google review
Absolutely terrible. No organized way of entry, have to wait almost an hour to even get in. And when you finally do, it’s too overcrowded to enjoy everything. There should be more control as to how many people can go in

VIP ROOM Santo Domingo is an opulent party destination that lives up to its name. The club features a laser-outfitted dancefloor, giant golden chandeliers, and pyrotechnics, creating an exclusive and extravagant atmosphere. The open-plan lounge offers fancy cocktails and attracts fashionable crowds. It's the place to see and be seen while enjoying classic pop music and indulging in bottles of Moet and Veuve.
Good night out, a bit too much attention from bouncers assisting to toilets and back. And not used to so much assistance and then all wanting tips too. Rather make my way to the toilet without assistance lol. Had a special dj doing a set that night, and it was the best club type experience I’ve had musically in my last 3 visits to Santo Domingo.
H G — Google review
This place charged $1,000 pesos each for my boy and I along with the two girls we were there with for a super slow, I mean EMPTY, Thursday night and that wasn’t the real issue. Security, in particular an older dark skin man with glasses and short white/greyish hair, working alongside a female security with a shape up and pony tail, after the first set of doors once security outside (aggressively patted us near our crotch area) went for another “search” and reached directly for my private. If it wasn’t for me saying something and reacting as his hands were near my private area, I can only assume this perverted old man was trying something. Highly DO NOT recommend this place and my homie and I are currently looking into what actions we can take because the searches by both male security personnel were extremely invasive and inappropriate. No where else we had been all week in DR had searched like that. Not even the Casinos.
Joel M — Google review
The place is abusive to foreigners, this was the price I paid for a hookah but then we found out from the local people who were at the club and they told us that was not the real price.
Andres L — Google review
Nice place but they play almost no bachata, salsa, and merengue only urban music
Street ( — Google review
This place makes enough money to buy metal detectors but they love touching your nuts here. Also, if you get bottle service you still have to pay the cover fee. Hosts are great and attentive but the pit master is overbearing - the guy was next to me the whole night smh very strange
Oscar M — Google review
If you are looking for a dance floor this is not the place. The cover charge was cheap at 300 Dominican pesos per person. People seem nice but it all comes at a price; if someone walks you to the bathroom voluntarily they will be waiting with their hand out, they try to charge ridiculous money to non D.R. citizens for V.I.P. tables do not serve all types of top shelf. I was uncomfortable with people continuously having their hand out in the club, initially the staffing for security seemed safe but they all work for tips so it’s pretty annoying. The inside of the establishment is decent but too much sitting and not enough space for dancing.
Jen M — Google review
The place itself is very good, no doubt one of the best place in town, but the security guards are the problem. They will try to grab as much money as possible from you, and if you don't pay, they will start to harrassment. One of the security guards even indicated, that if you don't pay, he will hit you before you leave. It's a shame, such a nice place but atmosphere spoiled by security guards. Be careful is my recommendation.
Jitesh W — Google review
This place is usually very crowded, if you didn't reserved a table the staff is gonna treat you like if you were begging for alcohol. The music is mainly dembow, and reggaeton and some house music.

It looks a nice place but the owner or bartender, not sure the role, was very rude. I have a educated dog that was sitting outside with me, no barking , no disturbing in anyway , the guy came to our sit several times to say that the dog can be disturbing the clients, but the lady dog was quiet by my side. Other clients where even asking how a mixed dog could be so educated. As it is a pet dog , the dog followed me to the bathroom, the owner became crazy, telling me the dog could not be there. I understand when a dog is miss behaved but again my lady dog is educated , did not bark , not even one time , she was with me all the time. I have been in many expensive restaurants where they treat my dog as a princess , this one to be a simple bar have a very bad attitude towards pets, so I don’t recommend it. In the pics you can see Camila, she is a very educated and trained dog.
