Bohol Bee Farm is one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in Bohol. The resort has a very cozy and rustic charm, surrounded by lush greenery and overlooking the sea. The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed simple yet very comfortable. The staff are exceptionally warm and accommodating, making every guest feel welcome. Their restaurant is a highlight: organic, farm to table meals with fresh flavors, and the homemade ice cream is a must-try. I especially enjoyed dining with the beautiful ocean view. Beyond the food and rooms, the farm tour and small shop add a unique touch, offering a glimpse of local culture and sustainable living. Overall, it’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and experience authentic Boholano hospitality.

Great restaurant with various other handmade goods for sale at their in house shops. We are here for dinner and ribs were great, we also ordered take out via Panglao Food delivery on Facebook and the burger was amazing. Prices are reasonable and food used good quality ingredients. Portions were also a good size, would definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to eat in Panglao The homemade ice cream here came in lots of flavours and would highly recommend trying. Only improvement would be keeping the dogs away from diners as it’s a bit annoying when they say don’t feed them but the animals hang around your table waiting.

Visited on October 14, 2025 Really enjoyed my visit to Bohol Bee Farm! The food was delicious and fresh, and the atmosphere was peaceful with a lovely ocean view. I especially loved their homemade ice cream served in a cassava cone — definitely a must-try! 🍦🐝 The location is great, with several small cafés and restaurants nearby, making it a nice spot to relax and explore the area after your meal.

When we arrived the staff greet us and guide us quickly going to the restaurant there dine in have plenty of tables. We are seated in front of the viewing deck facing the sea. The food is delicious and they got a complimentary food will you are waiting for your order and you can buy it on there shop. The Spreads are very tasty. They are reminding you that some of the product are not allowed on a hand carry bag when you check in at the airport. When we are about to leave the one staff so us reading the informations regarding the history of the Bee farm and tell us why there is no more bees on there captivity. He explain that during the pandemic and typhoon odette they lost the queen bee so the colony didn't strive and tried to cultivate the local bees but they are too aggressive so they are planning to restore it i hope it will succeed. Note: all of there honey products are from wild bees collected across different part of bohol.

Had lunch here and loved it! The Diavola pizza was amazing and the Spaghetti Marinara was just as good. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and it’s totally worth it. Marlyn, our server, was so lovely and always had a smile on her face. Definitely a go-to if you’re craving the real Italian deal.

We first tried Giuseppe in 2017, before they opened the airport and PangLao exploded in tourism. Back then Giuseppe was the BEST restaurant in the region. Now there’s competition, but Giuseppe stands strong and is still a must stop destination. Our 2 favourite dishes was the simple garlic, olive oil and chili flakes pasta 🤝👌wow 🤤 4 cheeses pizza was also a great contender 👌 mamamia!

Stunning vegetarian pizza. The dough was a delight, pillowy soft with a brilliant taste too! Their house made chilli sauce was a brilliant addition to dip the crusts in! The pineapple juice also tasted so fresh! The staff were so lovely and attentive

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! They also offer a unique spicy alternative to hot sauce that adds flavor without ruining the taste of the pizza. They also have a bike rental upstairs, we decided to rent from here for our city tour around Panglao, and it was a great experience. They offer two bike rates, ₱300 and ₱600, and the ₱300 option is already really good.

Overgrown is our go-to coffee shop in Panglao. They serve high quality coffee and delicious food. We love their classic & bell-pepper grilled cheese sandwich and apple cinnamon yogurt. The banana chocolate muffin was also delicious. They open early so you can have your breakfast here. The staff are friendly and the cafe has a casual and relaxing ambience.

We came around 19:00 and it was just after dinner when we walked and discovered this place. One of the best places to hangout for a quite night out. I do suggest that you try their amazing pastries though. It is literally cheap and yet luxuriously great-tasting!

I’ve been dropping by Shaka quite often, and I just love it here! The location right by the street is super convenient, and the shop has plenty of fans to keep it cool. Their smoothies are not only delicious but also very affordable. The service is always 💯—huge thanks to Ate Claudine and Belle for accommodating us every single time. They don’t just serve, they really make you feel comfortable and at home in the café. Always a favorite spot to relax and chill! Highly recommend it!

Hidden Gem for Healthy Vegetarian Food in Bohol 🌿 This is truly a hidden gem of a vegetarian restaurant in Bohol, located conveniently by the roadside. It’s usually not crowded — likely because it’s plant-based — but honestly, the food here is amazing and thoughtfully prepared. We tried the Sloppy Joe’s Burger, which was surprisingly satisfying. It had a creative combination of mashed beans and pineapple as the patty — juicy, flavorful, and very filling. The Veg Lasagna was also excellent — rich layers, plenty of vegetables, and great texture. I also appreciated how conscious the staff were about dietary preferences. For example, when I ordered a Coconut Latte, they asked if I was okay with vanilla syrup being added. Small details like this show their care for customers’ health choices. I ended up visiting both for breakfast and dinner because I enjoyed it so much. Their Açaí Bowl is worth trying, though note that it’s made with frozen fruits (understandable due to island supply), so it can be quite cold — something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to icy foods. Service was quick and friendly, the background music was relaxing, and the overall atmosphere was calm and cozy. Pricing is reasonable, and the location is very accessible. No need to queue, and food comes out fast. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a healthy and satisfying plant-based meal on the island.

There's only a handful of vegan places nearby and this spot is one of my favorites. I have been in here twice during my stay and may stop by again before I leave. Claudine and Eva are very sweet. And John and Jay handle the kitchen well. Great team! The vibe is totally chill and I appreciate the service every time. I will definitely miss this place. (I like the vibe here better than at BGC!) Oh yes, and the food is amazing! I leave little if anything behind!

We ordered the breakfast bowls after seeing the photo on the menu, which made them look big and generous. But when they arrived, they were barely the size of a mug. The menu can be misleading, so it’s best to ask about the portion size before ordering. That said, the taste was really good and satisfying—but for the price, the portion just doesn’t match. We’ve had the same fruit bowl at COOEE in Cebu—same price, but twice the size compared to Shaka. Honestly, I’m disappointed. We’ve also tried Shaka in Moalboal, and even there, the portions were bigger than what we got here in Panglao.

Love love love the garlic butter shrimp, taste fresh and I like that it has chopped veggies in the soup! Definitely recommend to try! The pasta was a bit soft and hope there’s a bit more seasoning in the fish. The owner was very nice and friendly that he usually offer two tequila shots but we couldn’t take it cause we have diving trip at the second day. Also the female staff was always smiling and welcoming that we had a great experience there!

This was our second time dining at this restaurant, conveniently located right next to our hotel. Overall, it’s a cute little place with lots of vintage decorations and mementos left by travelers from around the world. The vibe is warm and welcoming. When we visited, it wasn’t busy, so the service was quick. I ordered their signature Garlic Butter Shrimp — it was okay. The overall seasoning here is on the milder side. Nothing particularly impressive, but the portion size was reasonable. My partner had a steak rice dish, which was also just average — not bad, but not memorable either. As for the price, like most places on the island, it leans a bit on the higher side. All in all, it’s a decent option if you’re staying nearby and want something convenient with a nice atmosphere, but don’t expect to be blown away.

📍Place: located not too far from the main road, the place is small but very creatively, uniquely decorated. We sat outside, there a couple of tables there. 🍛 Food: we had the spaghetti lemon garlic with chicken which was well prepared, chicken was not dry however maybe a little too many flavours in one dish. Also had the creamy red curry with chicken, which was really tasty, not too spicy but flavourful, enjoyed it really much. Prices vary around 400-600 PHP. 👩🏻‍🍳 Service: service was quick and kind, and of course, cash only place.

Queued outside 10 min before opening and there are already 4 groups before us! Yes, they're that popular. And I have to say, with good reason. Yup, didn't disappoint! The grilled chicken salad was a refreshing start. A little heavy on the vinaigrette but still tasty in the end. Serving is pretty huge so as a starter, it can be shared by three. The Korean BBQ platter comes in, already cooked to perfection. The meat is juicy and the prawns are nice and plump. The various dips and sides make for an enjoyable mix and match. This can be shared by three. And let's talk about that jjamppong pasta. Absolutely delicious! Packed flavour, didn't skimp on the seafood, and true to its spice level (we requested for less spicy and still has a good amount of kick). You have to order this. The bowl is pretty huge, it can be shared by two. The mango shake is a great palette cleanser, especially with spicy and flavour-packed meal like this. Also great in itself. Overall, the long queue did set our expectations pretty high, but it was able to deliver beyond that.

Very nice little Korean fusion resto. The Kung Paw Chicken and Pad Krapao moo saap were both delicious the kung paw is quite spicy but they warn you so be ready but the flavor is top notch! Highly recommend worth the wait

Sobrang sulit ang waiting time! Pricey but big servings. We tried their Spareribs and ordered a plater of rice, and we finished it lol. We are only two but the serving is good for 3-4 if you guys eat light. Definite a good find in Bohol.

For our 2-day Bohol trip, we originally planned to have our last dinner at Toto e Peppino. We changed plans last-minute and decided to try out Barwoo instead because we felt like italian cuisine is something that's easily accessible and done well in Makati where we're based. Really glad we made the switch because Barwoo exceeded our expectations! What we got: chili rosé prawn pasta (less spice) mango wings, sea urchin bibimbap TLDR: Everything was so good! True to what another reviewer has mentioned, the food here was a flavor bomb! Everything was well-made, and no dish was too spicy, too salty, or too sweet. The flavors per dish were also interesting and not something that we've tried before. The service was fast and efficient. Waiting time wasn't very long, and they had a nice designated waiting area that looked like a cafe. Overall, we highly enjoyed our dining experience here at Barwoo. This was a perfect choice for our last night in Panglao. And it's definitely one of my best eats this year.

Not scared to recommend this to everyone!!!! We want to go back to try other food again. I'm sure all the food they're serving is flavorful 🤤 We planned to dine around lunch time but the line was already too long. We instead went there at 4:30PM, before their opening time 5PM and we were on the 18th list. When it opened, they were able to cater 20 groups. However, when you're called, make sure everyone is complete for you to get in, if not, they'll give you 5mins or they will call the next in line.

I had to visit here because of nostalgia. Ive known this place since I was young and I had lots of fond memories. The place and atmosphere has greatly improved. I love the ambiance as I absolutely love roosters and chicken. The food was great as always. My all time favourite is the chicken bbq paired with the fish sauce. I wish they still had the side atchara (they used to have it years back). Halo halo was great and I wish it was server on a green coconut shell as that was my all time fave and my standard for halo halo due to Payag had set the standard for me that halo halo for me can only be served in a buko shell. This is a very unique restaurant. The largest collection of chicken figurines, plates, pictures, and sculptures. And don’t forget to “egg” lights on the ceiling. And the wood trim and display cabinets are very artistic. While you are there, enjoy the food as well.

One of the few original restaurants in the province that are opened way back in the day and are still standing—which is good. The age is showing within its interiors though, and the whole place is not as regularly crowded as before with competition sprouting everywhere. The familiarity of the place makes it comfortable, but it could definitely use a few improvements—from the paint on the walls, lighting, rest room fixtures, to overall aesthetics. It still uses plastic straws for its cold beverages. Food is fine and affordable, if you are simply looking for something that fills your appetite. We particularly loved the Sizzling Gambas and Crispy Crablets. Their Chicken Chicharon and Chicharon Bulaklak needed to be crispier because our order were slightly on the chewier side. Orders could take a long while to be served. There is no free WiFi here as well.

Went here at around 5:30 PM. The place is still empty. Great ambiance and you can see the owner's obsession with chicken. Anyway, we got their grilled chicken super combo, sinigang, chicken easol and salad. Everything was just okay. The grilled chicken however, is really good.

Big portions, bold flavors, and great value for money. This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in the Philippines. Some dishes are to-die-for - the shrimp coconut milk soup and the fried squid appetiser are my main recommendations. Since we enjoyed our first dinner here so much we decided to come back twice, and some of the other dishes we tried weren’t exceptional unfortunately - especially the salmon belly soup, which was all fat and nauseated us (but maybe it has something to do with our culture’s taste). However this place was a great discovery, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the overall ambience and service are very pleasant. It’s more on the pricy side but with good reason. I will think about this food for a long time!

I can’t even begin to describe how good the FILIPINO FOOD is, here. The Caridad is like a warm hug. The Corazon is undeniably a crowd favorite. Also don’t forget to order the elusive Fish Skin. You just have to try it to believe it.

From the perspective of foreigners, this restaurant is the best Filipino restaurant I have eaten so far. The taste is not too heavy and retains the characteristics of the meal. The taste is very balanced and the meat is quite good. The spiciness of tofu is also very good. The disadvantage is that it takes some time to wait for the meal.

Only thing missing is the time-share pitch. As a first matter, this is not a true "public restaurant." Stick and Bowl is a tourist stop focused on vans and busses of Korean tourists stopping by for a fixed-price (prix fixe) meal. They focus set platters of mid-quality food with a hint of Korean flavor for tourists who are not ready to enjoy local food. Their customers are mainly scheduled one-time visitors who are taken there by tour guides who get a commission or work with them on package deals. They don't expect a lot of repeat business and their service and quality shows. If you go expecting to order Korean food off a menu, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for Samgyeopsal / BBQ, major disappointment. They do have a limited menu, but many items that are not a part of their tourist set menu are not available. No beef. No kim chee. No Korean pickles. No stock on many items unless it feeds a tourist bus. It is not bad, it just isn't good. It is Korean food the way Jollibee is American hamburgers. Understand that if you are looking to go to a real resturant, in particular a real Korean restaurant, this is not the place. All the disappointment of a buffet without the variety options or ease and value. The food, service and general feel made me wonder if we were going to be pitched a vacation timeshare before they brought the bill.

Food was good here, portions were big. We had the mixed bbq grill and this was tasty. Mango here was good like in a lot of places in Bohol. No dogs here was also nice.

Ordered the unli pork samgyupsal for 363 PHP. Pork meat quality is disappointing. There is too much fat on the pork that I have to extract it before eating (photo attached). The skin part of the pork is chewy. You need to ask separately for different sauces, they don't give it first hand. Only few side dishes are included. Cleanliness of the place can be improved. Might not come back and choose other samgyupasal restaurants instead. On the other hand, service crew are approachable. Ambiance is comfortable. Other dishes might be good options but I haven't tried yet.

I always get the Shabu-shabu because they have the best cuts of meat... Super fresh and extra healthy. Their staff is super attentive and will even cook for you if you go with the KBBQ.

I’m pretty sure that this is where you get best coffee in Alona! Every drink here was absolute perfection. Top-notch baristas! 💯 In addition to coffee, they also have a smoothies and matcha drinks, both iced and hot. There’s also fast wifi, if you need to get some work done.

I came here with my sister a couple of days ago for coffee. I dropped in here again today for a coffee. This place serves a pretty mean long black coffee with local coffee beans. By the way, the owner named the cafè after visiting Glebe in Sydney, Australia 😍

Excellent coffee in many variations. Nice espresso, cappuccino. I had a great ‘American breakfast’ at noon: toast, bacon, egg sunny side up, jam. The atmosphere is calm with some relaxing music, hip interior and friendly staff.

Small, clean, and air conditioned coffee shop on the main drag. Good coffee and iced lattes. Relaxed music and vibes. And they’re open an hour earlier than a lotta coffee shops.

Their coffee tasted great! Definitely recommend the Spanish Latte (Cafe con Leche) at this place. The Dirty Matcha was also flavorful. The ambience and choice of art and furniture is spot on! Check out the espresso machine turned into a coffee table - would love to have something like this at my own home!

Nice small sushi place. Service is fast, food is delicious. Offer is long and various. Waiting time is very good. You can buy sushi per 4 pieces or in a set. The serving is eye pleasing. If anything, soya sauce could be little less salty and place could use some mellow quiet Japanese music in the background. Highly recommend.

Went back two times during our stay in Panglao because it’s so goooooooood! Asin tibuok + cheese is definitely a hit! All their coffee hits all the right nodes, my cousins enjoyed their Chocnut latte and their Bohol Dark Chocolate! Their Kombucha is so good too especially the mango! Their brownie is the best though ❤️❤️❤️ Common Crew never misses ❤️🙏

For me, the best cafe around Panglao. The ambiance is very cozy and peaceful. Ordered their vanilla latte and it was perfect with an affordable price. Also bought their canvass bag haha. Will definitely recommend and be back.

The best coffee I’ve had in Panglao! The iced long black is smooth and well-balances, with blackberry taste and cocoa finish. I can feel that they truly focus on making great coffee. Highly recommended! There is also a nice coworking area with reliable wifi, perfectly for creators or remote workers. You can simply buy a pass if needed.

Great coffee spot in Panglao! They serve high-quality coffee using single origins and proudly support local Filipino farms. I tried their signature drink, Asin Tibuok with cheese — not really a coffee, but definitely a must try since Asin Tibuok is a unique local product. The staff and baristas were excellent with roastery nearby. My only wish is that the place had air-conditioning.

a very aesthetic ambiance: cool and cozy yet so simple. it kinda remind me of one the cafe i’ve been in some other places. upon entrance, you’ll gonna feel you’ll have your peace for a while. we ordered salted caramel at first and then went back for it again and tried also the bingsu. indeed, this is a korean inspired cafe for crushed ice not halo2 but still worth eating at night

Yummiest bingsu in town! Big servings, too. Highly recommend the mango & salted caramel. Not too sweet, melt-in-your-mouth, smooth like butter snow ice. So if you're craving for some cold dessert, come visit this place.

coffee are ok, not good not bad, just average level. bingsu are so slow, last time i wait around 20mins even no one in front, and this time our order even been forgot, till we notify them after 30mins. hope getting better order management.

Bingsu was sweet and milky. They tried to put texture on it by including popcorns which was a great idea. Just that, the Korean owner is a bit rude. Rushing us to leave coz they are about to close. Could have done it better.

Our favorite place when we are in Alona Beach. The ice of the bingsu was soooooo fine and tasty. The cafe americano was also good and reasonable price.

Would give them zero stars if possible. The barista who served us is very rude! Four of friends really just wanted to enjoy the bingsu, but the server said the bingsu is just good for two people— implying that we ordered too few. Also, the server outright said to us that we can’t stay for more than two hours when we really just got there a few minutes. Both comments by the barista to us, in my view, are unnecessary and very rude.

Me and my partner went here for dinner for the first time. It was past 8 pm, so the place was almost empty. We found this place through Google Maps. Heaps of good reviews, however disappointing. The ambiance is superb, as well as the interior. The staff are lovely too. They have a good selection of food, but it was too ordinary. I could easily make the food at home if I weren’t just a visitor here in Bohol. The bulalo was bland. The calamares was too crispy. The grilled pork was nothing special. The only good thing is the garlic fried rice. It had the perfect balance. We spent 1,500 for the two of us. Unfortunately, the price is not worth it for the serving size and well. the plating.

My father in-law loved Gerarda's. It feels like home... We always loved the food. The staff is always very kind, hospitable and quick to respond. Food is served fast. Loved that esp whenever we came here hungry. That's why I didn't have the chance to took a picture with all the food. ✌️😅 The restroom is very clean. They also have tissue provided. I rented a car. The rental man recommended here for dinner. I could get here easily with google map though hard road for driving btw I super strongly recommend you to visit here if you want to try traditional Philipino food. My family and I didn’t know how time of eating flies so fast. I am sure to say this restaurant is the No 1 Philipino food restaurant in bohol. I love here and the handsome staff called Jade was really kind. Thank you for giving us a good memory :)

Food is tasty and the portions are generous. It is surprisingly affordable as well. The place could use a little bit of breathing space though because it feels crowded even when it is not crowded. The chairs and tables are not easy to kove around. It does not offer WiFi connectivity and does not have enough parking space too, which is unfortunate because this resto feels like it primarily caters mostly to diners who come in the evening with cars.

Gerarda's Place is the best to go for Filipino Cuisine experience. We had seafood lunch over with my friend from Cebu and we did not regret coming here! I really love the their crabs and shrimp gambas! The service was excellent, the crew were very attentive and they even assisted me when an unexpected issue on my card took place. Overall, this is a perfect place for family, friends and large group of people to dine in. They have air-conditioned rooms too which i love especially during hot afternoon. Come and visit their branch in CPG and in Dauis. PS. Sulot gud imoha gebayad diri! Its worth the penny you paid for!

Cozy and homey ambience. Food is great. Service is also great, staff are accommodating and alert even when we were still making reservations. The only downside is there's not a lot of parking space so if theirs is full, you will have to park a bit farther and just walk to the restaurant, but commuting is not a problem.

This place is a gem in Panglao! Fast and friendly service with fresh nutritious food! In addition, the tiramisu is probably the best we ever had in our life! We came here twice during our 3 days stay. Highly recommend to try this place, even if you are not a vegetarian it will not kill you to eat some veggies for once, maybe you'll feel good 😊

The cheese platter was a bit disappointing. Not enough cheese imo. Main courses was large and we didn't finish the meal. House red wine not bad. People came and left again. Not aware that it's a vegetarian restaurant.

This is a beautiful place seemingly in the middle of nowhere. A lovely Italian couple runs the place, and the care they put in shows in the food. Everything we ate looked visually appealing. The service was nice. The food tastes quite good, reminded me of the home cooked meals in my time in Puglia area. I would definitely recommend it to people that wants to try some different meals from the local food with vegetarian options!

A whole different level of restaurant experience here in the Philippines, service is exceptional from manners to professional presentation which is extremely hard to find while traveling throughout the Philippines. Food for the First time was served on time and in the correct order with little to no delay. Those who have rated this place under the 4* have clearly no idea what this type of restaurant is and need a slap in the face to understand it is not a fast food fill your belly up cuisine. Portions are satisfactory and filling while pricing being more than reasonable for its outstanding food. If you’re nearby don’t miss out on this top quality restaurant whether you’re a vegetarian or not the meals and tastes will take you a truly ingenious experience.

As Italians we don’t eat a lot of Italian outside of Italy but at Luna Rossa we felt right at home. Appetisers were terrific and the Pasta alla Norma made me feel like I was back in Sicily. To finish it off, the tiramisu’ (with the chocolate touch) was super tasty! Hands down the best meal we had in weeks! This place is truly a little gem for vegetarians but also non-vegetarians that want a real bite of Italy!!

We like to eat here, well worth it especially for larger groups. I like their crispy pata. For the scallops — I like the pan fried better, the baked ones were too fatty for me. Lots of dishes to opt from, lots of choices for seafood. Eaten here several times, and every time, we were satisfied and full. Priced reasonably in my opinion. The restaurant itself is actually nicely decorated. Since the place is popular among large groups, the atmosphere can be so loud especially on rush hours. Service is praiseworthy, especially on those busy times. Haveńt tried their buffet.

It was a lovely experience and the food is also good more so because the staff are accomodating and friendly. I was there to celebrate my friend's birthday and they made it worth the while on top of the food 🥰❤. Its a MUST VISIT! Although don't go there when you're really really hungry because the waiting time of the food is a bit long especially when your famished. Do go though if your fine with a waiting time of 20-30 minutes.

We went for the all you can eat buffet. It is 500 peso per person. The food selection is good, they have prawns, kinilaw (raw marinated fish like ceviche), fried chicken, savory pork, roast veg. There is a soup, rice of course, fries, some salad ingredients and cake and fruit. The pork was very tasty. I found a few bones in the kinilaw but it was delicious. My biggest disappointment was that the prawns were not cleaned, still had poop shoot inside. I was looking forward to prawns as it's in the name. It takes very little time to devein a prawn. Super worth the price. Coming from a person with health issue. No worries of food choice. They serve healthy foods. We had a buffet for lunch. Super love it! I forgot I'm on diet. I love how fast they accomodate costumers. They had a clean and good smelling toilet. hahaha My pictures we're taken so quick coz you know I gotta eat. I don't want to disturb people getting their food from the buffet also. Everything is delicious!

It is now relocated to the far end of the mall (just a few steps away from Bo's Coffee and Buzzz Café) and is now refurbished to look more like an upscale, fine-dining restaurant. Since it is newly opened, the place looks clean and spacious, the furniture and decors well-put. The menu hasn't changed (even the literal printed menu looks the same, which means it is old and tattered; management should at least create new printed menus) but the taste of the food has significantly improved. It doesn't reach its full gastronomic potential yet, but it is going there. It got minus points for its burnt, overcooked scallops and sad, dull-looking desserts. But at least the waiters this time are quick and act professionally (unlike before when we had a really horrible experience), the place offers WiFi connectivity and has toilet rooms on both of its levels, and the buffet remains affordable.

One of our fave place to dine-in at ICM (Island City Mall, Tagbilaran City, Bohol). We usually avail their "Make Your Own Combo" since it's budget-friendly and worth the price! For only P159.00, you already have a cup of rice, a drink of your choice (iced tea or cucumber), 1 main course, 1 side dish, and a bowl of soup. Complimentary peanuts' also given while waiting for your order. I highly suggest you try their halo-halo 👍 but not their scallops 👎 Wait time will take 30-45 minutes!

It was a really bad experience. Ordering a Parisian baguette in a french bistro should be simple. But it's not. Serving without Dijon mustard, which is the key ingredient in this baguette. Butter in one bread but not on the other side of the baguette. So basically it's a dry sandwich. That has no similarities with the dish on the menu. I sent the sandwich back because of the missing ingredients. Got it back with some Dijon on the bread?? It is really the easiest dish to make and they managed to completely mess it up.

We went to the cafe right after our barbeque dinner from another resto. This is a cozy place near suited to hang out with friends, family members for a chit chat. The venue may look small on the outside but it's actually a bigger space inside. The foods are so delectable. It has small function rooms inside that can accommodate a small group for meetings and other functions.

My friends took me here tonight for one of our other friend's dessert / after party/ extended bday dinner celebration. Just a bunch of us ladies that have been friend's since childhood and has now been based elsewhere. First thing I took note was the atmosphere of the interior. It is nice and cozy and just perfect for our afterdinner cake and tea. The price is very reasonable specially since all the cakes we ordered were so yummy ! I specially love their Russian Mango Cake. Our server was very attentive without being obstrusive. ( One of my friends accidentally dropped a fork and she came over with a new one without being asked. Totally awesome and never had this happen at another cafe before ! ) I would totally take my family with me to enjoy their cakes and drinks before I leave to go back stateside. Maybe even order a Russian Mango cake to go.

I’ve always loved to go here to eat desserts. Ever since the cafe opened, we’ve always been amazed at how the interior of the place. It shows that they are dog lovers, and I like that! Especially the logo of the cafe. Aside from the interior, the view outside is the view of the street and the sea. 👍🏻 I’ve been here multiple times with my family and also my friends. The desserts and drinks are both great! Always a good choice since it’s tasty and freshly made.

The most anticipated cafe experience i have been waiting for since the pandemic. At last, the ambiance in the cafe was delightful as to with their patisseries and beverages. Parking with a 4x4 vehicle would be an issue, but made it to parked with a bit stressful. A must try!

Cakes are still the must try in this place. I love that it has expanded. Coffee needs a bit of work. Edit: They have improved a lot.💯 Food- I have tried their mousse recently and it was the perfect balance. Their beef steak is also good. Can't wait to try the other food. Drinks- their americano has improved a LOT!!! Really good! Service- kinder and more attentive👏 Place- very good place to work or hangout. AC works well. Great dessert selection, ok coffee. Went to the cafe with high expectations. The ambiance was great… out of the way location, lots of greens, quirky coffee mugs, and nice little nooks for quiet conversation with friends. They had a good selection of dessert items, but the coffee was just ok. The live table was gorgeous but would shift every time an elbow or some other weight would be added on top of it. It didn’t really bother me, but i may be an issue. Parking spaces available at the front of the cafe. Has an indoor and an outdoor section.

And I received very kindly reply that my dog can be together as far as I eat at outside table. Paella should be wait for a while, but it was totally worth it to be waited. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and I appreciated the attention to detail in both the food and service. Overall, Bougainvillea Spanish Restaurant is a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a cozy dining atmosphere. They serve delicious tapas, paella and churros at reasonable prices. I honestly think that they serve the best churros in town. It's a shame I was not able to take picture of the churros. Staff are friendly but some of them need more training to be more attentive to guests. They accept credit card payment. Recommended: Churros, Gambas, Paella negra

The food was amazing! I got to meet the Spanish owner during our event, and you can really taste his passion for Spanish cuisine in every dish. My favorites were the seafood paella and gambas—actually, everything we ordered was so good. He’s the same owner behind Cebu’s Socarrat restaurant. When we dined, our group was the only Filipino group inside. The only downside for me was the wall-side high chairs, which weren’t too comfy. Still, I’ll definitely be back soon!

Reviews weren’t kidding when they said this resto offers great spanish food. It was so tasty, delish, and not to mention, affordable! We ordered the paella with chicken, pork, and veggies and for P780+ it is good for 3-4 pax (not hungry) and this has the burnt bottom which is absolutely heaven! It was the right crunch and burn to it! Make sure you order this right away as you arrive as they make it for 35mins. before it will be served. And for our appetizers, we had the pulpo gallega, gambas, and fritura (breaded sardines and calamares), these are all amazing, different flavors for different palate! 🥹 The best thing here is you get to reserve a table as well to be sure you are seated at the time you want to have your meal. Only make sure to reserve early to be sure you can still get a table at your desired time.

I had a beef with their chairs, everytime I stand it topples and it once fell down. I asked their staff to serve the food together with paella cause I have an issue with flies that might accidentally land on our food but they didn’t listen. For the context, I have a kid and while waiting for the 30 min serving time for paella we put him inside the playhouse just beside the resto. When I went back to our table, they served almost everything except the paella. Smh I was forced to sit back on the table. But all in all the paella is really good, the ham is, well I don’t like it. My brain just straight up refused to even chew it, lol i’m not even a picky eater. Maybe its on me, it’s just my opinion tho.

A little small but the tapas was phenomenal. Chorizo as authentic as if I were in Spain. The seafood paella was fire too. Alcohol was limited though, and the prices overall were a little expensive.

The coffee here is a solid 5/5—strong and spot-on flat white and cappuccino. Stunning sea views with lush mangroves add to the charm. It’s an al fresco setup, so with the summer heat, it can get uncomfortably warm. The wooden chairs look great but aren’t necessarily comfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They offer a wide selection of vegan food, but there’s not much else on the menu—and not much in the way of desserts. We didn’t finish the mango-chocolate tart we ordered—it was just okay, not the kind of dessert that leaves you wanting more (which is the whole point, isn’t it?).

My visit to Chido has always been nothing short of exceptional. The first thing you'll notice is their superb customer service--the crew is respectful and always smiling. The waiting time for service is minimal, making the experience even more enjoyable. And the food? Consistently delicious! The cherry on top is the breathtaking view, especially at sunset--it's simply dreamy. Definitely a must-visit! 😊

A peaceful place with a nice Seaview with the Dauis hills behind. Menu had a good variety of dishes with South East Asian flavours and typical Filipino choices as well. I ordered the Hidden Dragon a medium spicy dish with ground pork, noodles and a soup styled base. Overall l gave it 7 out of 10 the flavour of the noodles overpowered the liquid broth. My partner had the Chido Beef burger with French Fries, it was a very meaty burger and filling - 10/10. I do recommend trying the Vietnamese Coffee tasted great and not easy to find. Great views out in the back of the Restuarant. Do yourself a favour give Chido Cafe a try it's very close to the junction( Dauis Bridge) Tagbilaran.

Update; Another visit here. I was disappointed that the breakfast taco was not available. BUT…. I had the chili instead. So glad for the opportunity to try it. Very delicious and full of flavors. Wow! Nice cafe, great food, friendly service, and sea view to enjoy with a nice breeze. The Seoulful is fresh and delicious with a spicy kick. The beet salad is a great mix with various flavors bursting in your mouth.

A great place for hangouts. Nice view of the sea and the island. Only problem I had was the ventilation of the room. As soon as we entered the cafe the smell of food being cooked was overwhelming and this persisted until we left. In fact I could still smell the menu in my clothes when I got home. Coffee was okay. I didn't get to try the food but I might visit again one of these days.

This is my first time to experience Chicken Ati-Atihan restaurant and I enjoyed it. We were 18 in our group and we had lots of fun. The place is spacious to accomodate big party groups or smaller groups and solo eaters. The staff were great. Even if there were many big groups as well as small groups, they were still able to provide good and efficient service to all. The food tastes great. Chicken inasal was cooked just right. Still juicy in the inside but crunchy on the skin side. The lechon kawali was also great. Crunchy and tasty. The kilawin, pancit guisado and fish fingers were great tasting as well. All in all, it was a great first experience. Will definitely be back to try other food in the menu.

The chicken is tasty, great marinade and juicy inside. Maybe I was expecting more like a papaya salad or vibey atmosphere but these were lacking. It's a good place to get chicken but nothing special. The chicken oil is spicy and yummy. The wait staff were a bit preoccupied with their own conversations so it was difficult to get service.

Their squid is damn good, big, fresh, no overcook and everything just perfect. Chicken also yummy but rice portion abit small and their mango shake taste abit durian favor dont know why, not so rich in mango favor. Another stall got sell bubble tea in many selection and taste better. Staff just chichat not really care about customer, we hv a lunch there, vibe hot and hv a lot of flies really spoil my mood, end up i found out got many small fan put on counter table, we request then they give however we just sit in front of their counter their staff just ignore n keep talking to each other make us hv a bad image. But their food is just perfect!

Pochero – ₱480 (Good for 2–3 persons) The soup is undeniably delicious, but the serving is quite small — I can literally finish the whole bowl by myself. Sisig – ₱310 (Good for 2–3 persons) The serving size is decent, but the taste reminds me more of humba. Not sure if that’s the local style of sisig here in Bohol.

This spot might be one of the best local finds near the port. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, perfect for relaxing after a day of travel. The staff were quick, polite, and clearly take pride in their work. Prices were more than fair, and the food came out fast and fresh. If you’re looking for a hearty meal and genuine local hospitality in Tagbiliran, Chicken Ati-Atihan is an easy choice.

Food is so so. Ambience a bit awkward since there are a few staff who looked disrepecting to us when we arrive. You can also hear them softly whispering while looking at you. Order was not complete. The price is average but it definitely has a more upbeat atmosphere as compared to the other restaurants or bars on Alona beach. If you're after cheap drinks, nibbles, sheesha, very loud banging music and some good time with your group of friends, I'd recommend this place. What more can you expect from a 99 cents cocktail pub!

Horrendous service, food was disgusting. 3 of us got food poisoning from the meat here. Oh and tourist rate scam price. When we got our bill they charged 3x price because we had a white guy at our table. Manager was extremely rude. The waiters started cleaning the table before we were done eating g. This is the worst place in Panglao. Avoid all costs. And yes we really got food poisoning. Yuck

firstly they want to charge 200peso for Mango shake when all other places charge less then 130p. it must be the noisiest point as music is very is loud from this bar as well as surrounding bars. I got headaches after my meal. I ordered lemon fish which was ok, but the fries must be over cooked or reheated as they were incredibly crispy. my girlfriend had beef steak which was very chewy and perhaps a bit too salty.

Good place to eat all types of food which is a rarity. They have special offers on a Tuesday where you have 1+1 on cocktails which are well made. The service as is across the whole of Philippines - brilliant.

A slice of Americana in the Philippines. This place is both a good restaurant and a mini museum of cowboy artifacts. In addition to that, they train and employ hearing challenged young adults. I had the American burger and a side of fries, delicious! Others in my group had fish sandwich and spaghetti with garlic bread. All enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Will be returning soon...

Went to Bohol and made a quick dinner stop at Garden Café in Tagbilaran—but wow, it turned into something special. The food was great, and the dragon fruit juice? Easily the best I’ve ever had. But what made it unforgettable was the staff—most of them are deaf, and the café exists to give them meaningful work and a welcoming space to thrive. The vibe was warm, and they even included a basic sign language guide in the menu so you can communicate with the servers. But for me, it was extra personal. I grew up learning sign because my aunt, who lives with us, is deaf—so signing is second nature to me. When I signed with our server and saw her light up, it instantly made my day. Moments like that remind me how beautiful inclusion is when people are seen, respected, and embraced. It wasn’t just a meal—it was a reminder of the kind of world we should all be creating. Big love to this café for serving food with heart and purpose. What a beautiful experience.

I had to try Garden Café when I saw that they serve Starbucks coffee, knowing that there aren’t any Starbucks branches in Bohol. True enough, they do serve Starbucks, though it’s the Nespresso-style pre-mixed shot kind (not brewed from whole beans), but still a nice option to have. I really enjoyed their bluberry cheesecake. It wasn’t overly sweet or too cheesy, just the right balance with a nice creamy texture. The ambiance of the place is great, and I love that they employ Deaf staff — it’s wonderful to see inclusivity in action. A shout-out as well to Kuya guard at the parking area who's very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to trying more from their menu on my next visit!

Good food and a very IG-worthy spot! Some of the food presentations were impressive and definitely photo-worthy. While the meals are on the pricier side, you’re really paying for the overall experience and ambiance. I recommend exploring the entire place up to the top floor to fully enjoy the view and vibe. They even have a slide and hammock area, which are a fun and unique touch.

I have planned to visit MIST since it is famous for its "rainforest-inspired" or "dropped treehouse" style, with a beautiful wooden structure Cafe/Restaurant. Some of my friends visit here whenever travel to Bohol. The vibe is serene, elegant, and artsy atmosphere. It features an open-air layout, multiple floors, and quirky, comfortable furniture, including cozy chairs, dining areas for groups, and even a large hammock and a slide for children, making it very family and pet-friendly. Yes it is pet-friendly, I did not bring one, but I saw a random dog went inside the cafe and no one's bothered to shoo it. I like how they are friendly and very open to the idea. Also, MIST is known for being a very "Instagrammable" spot, attracting celebrities and influencers. The cafe is very common for people who travel in Bohol and so were curioused. ​ Their menu is diverse, offering a blend of international cuisines including Filipino, Mexican, American, Italian, Indian, Japanese, and Thai-inspired dishes. But we only went for drinks/refreshments to satisfy our weet tooth even it was around 9pm. Photos are uploaded to some of their craft -- which we absolutely appreciated bec of its quality and the effort they put into each. Will recommend this spot to friends who will plan to visit Bohol.

First and foremost, the location was aesthetically pleasing, which is likely why many individuals had previously informed me that it came highly recommended. Upon our arrival, the beauty of the place was indeed evident from the exterior to the interior. The staff members were exceedingly courteous and attentive, assisting us efficiently throughout our stay. There was a particular moment that stood out: my friends and I were taken aback by how the staff seemed to instinctively know when our glasses were empty they would immediately approach and refill them without us needing to ask. Out of amusement, one of my friends jokingly inquired how they were able to tell. At first, the staff member if I recall correctly, it was either CJ or Mark, as they were the ones attending to us upstairs did not respond. So, in a playful manner, I asked, “How do you know, kuya?” Eventually, he explained that they could see from downstairs, which prompted laughter among us. It was all in good fun. As for the food, the portions were generous and well worth the price. The Wagyu burger, in particular, was substantial definitely a great deal, as it was genuinely satisfying. In terms of a culinary assessment, I would say the food was overall delicious, and the presentation was also commendable. I would confidently give it a full 100% recommendation, especially to fellow vacationers like myself who are planning to visit Bohol. This establishment is among those I would wholeheartedly suggest you won’t regret it, I promise.

I feel like we got scammed with how much we paid vs. the taste of the food. I don’t remember Mist tasting like this since the last time I went (pandemic). The food was very average (even below for some dishes), they just looked good in photos. I believe Mist Bohol is the prime example of focusing too much on a novelty experience versus actual food quality. The staff was kind, attentive and friendly though!

Our first time in Bohol, and we decided to have our first dinner at Mist. The place is definitely beautiful — very aesthetic and has such a nice ambiance, especially at night. We ordered quite a few dishes, but honestly, nothing really stood out. Everything was just okay. For the price, I was hoping for at least one dish that would make us say “wow, so good!” Our total bill was around ₱4,000+ (including service charge and senior discount for two seniors), so it’s definitely on the pricier side. Overall, it’s a nice spot to try at least once if you’re visiting Bohol or Panglao, mainly for the ambiance and experience, but not something I’d come back to regularly.

Mist was a little bit away from the highway and the busy Alona beach. A hidden gem! We ordered their tempura, ravioli and wagyu burger. All tasted amazing! But what blew us away was Gardens by the Bay dessert. So good! Aryan was also very attentive to our needs. Overall, a must visit resto in Panglao!

We had a wonderful stay in Bellevue and had been having our lunch and dinner in Marea. The experience remained superb. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was consistently delicious. ❤️❤️

Sensational meal. Full of flavour and taste. The fresh smoothie are really good you have to try one. Carlo delivered exceptional service when dinning at the restaurant. Great customer rapport skills shown. IF your in town give it a try and even if your not come and give it a try here you won't be disappointed.

We ate here in our first night. One of the best decisions of the trip. The Bellevue Hotel has 2 restaurants and chose the right one. Atmosphere was outstanding and the service was phenomenal. The food choices were plenty for whatever you desire. The entertainment on Saturday was icing on the cake.

Lovely hotel and bar. We got hit with a typhoon but everyone was safe and fine and it was sangria and chocolate cake 🎂 to get through the storm 🌀 The staff are lovely and helpful and on the doorstep there is a beautiful beach 🏖️ with starfish and fish to see.

The food here is quite excellent. The best spaghetti I have had in the Philippines. The atmosphere is very nice...open air restaurant by the pool with view of the beach and ocean. I'm definitely coming back.

One of the very few restaurants in the city that puts an effort in food presentation as much as it does in making the dishes flavorful. Everything in here is well-thought of. Its Southeast Asian-inspired ambience is relaxing. Its staff is attentive. Service may not be quick, but this must be due to the extra care and attention given to the dishes before they are served on the table. Unfortunately, the restaurant still uses plastic straws for its drinks. Thus, it clearly lags behind other environmentally-aware, eco-friendly establishments in the city.

We arrived in the middle of dinner time and the place was empty, this should have told us everything we needed to know. The service is great, but then it really should be when you are the only customer. The food is okay, not great but okay. The prices however, now we know why the place is empty. This restaurant is wildly over priced. The value just isn't there. I don't mind paying a large bill for dinner if the food is with it, at this place out just isn't. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

The best eatery in Panglao! If you enjoy healthy Filipino cuisine with veg, salad and no added sugar on your savoury food then this is the place for you! This is a family run small business and a lot of loyal customers mostly tourists! The price is very decent unlike the prices you get in other places in the Alona area. The people are very friendly too! I never had a funny tummy from this place and it is a great sign that there are many local and international tourists who keep coming back! It is a must to visit if you want authentic Filipino cuisine less the tourists price like other over priced restaurants! The place is very modest but there is also space for parking too.

I ordered pork, chicken curry, eggplant and rice for 180 pesos. All except rice came out cold and tiny portions. The pork serving was just one small thin sliver of pork belly (5g) mostly with bones and fat. The two tablespoon of chicken curry (less than 20 grams) lacked flavor and the tiny chicken cubes were dry. When I made a comment on the high price. The guy serving told me I should buy the ingredients and cook it myself. I joked that I would if I had access to a kitchen.

Good local restaurant decently priced for Philippino food, taste fresh and good, the adobo chicken was very good.

It had a large variety of already made dishes, including vegetables, meat and seafood. What we tried was tasty and well cooked. The price was excellent (we ate for less than PHP200 per head).

The service was terrible. We waited almost 2 hours for our food, even though we ordered first. Five other tables got their food before us. When our pizza was finally ready, they gave it to another table by mistake, and we had to wait another hour. We followed up five times, but the staff just kept blaming each other. I really love Buzz Restaurant, but I’ll never come back to this branch.

Although the place could use a bit of updating, it’s still a nice place after lunch service to while your time away. The AC was strong, I was able to charge my phone and no one cared I stayed for an hour and a bit more. I’ve always loved their ice cream choices, sikwate and puto were not to my liking.

The place seem to be very small looking outside the entrance but very cozy and spacious inside. It has many tables that can accommodate different group sizes. The food is great. It is very relaxing and staffs are really doing their job. But because of the goodness of the place, expect a lot of people dining during meal hours. The store is open from 7 am to 9 pm.

The restaurant now has a new look and layout, but it keeps its rustic charms and relaxed ambience. It feels a little less spacious though because the space makes room for a larger open area. The food remains great and it has significantly expanded its menu items. The restaurant also sells ice cream in scoops or in tubs, breads, spreads, and organic home products like lip balms, soaps, shampoo and conditioner. This resto remains to be a favorite among locals and tourists.

Nice food, lovely ambience resembling a farm. You also get a good view of the sea and the ferry terminal from here. Spicy beef pasta tasted better than it looks. Drinks are yummy and reasonably priced too.

The second time around but the first time around taking their precious rice meal. The food itself is unquestionable taste and surprisingly wow. The pork meat is just so tender. Perfectly cooked black rice. Fresh is fresh for lumpia. Lemon Grass for drink. Its even quite quick for the serving time. Everthing is almost perfection. #Highly recommended.

If you are a health concious person, well this place suits for you. They served a lot of healthy options from appetizer, main dish and dessert that claimed to be organic and homemade. It is a well-known for its nature-inspired plating of their food that I found really eye-catching especially those with edible flowers that I've never known. And the best I could describe is their ice cream that is way beyond compare. The fruity and milky texture of the ice cream top on a unique cone of cassava would make you ask for more. Overall, it is no wonder why it is called a Bohol's pride cafeteria...

Very loud videoke playing with siren-like voice, so we decided to sit outside with the dim lighting. Food wasn't good and not as described on the menu. Grilled chicken leg was served on sizzling plate to make it appear to be prepared fresh. Seemed to us that it was pre-prepared by deep frying instead of grilling and tried to reheat it by serving it. On the hot "sizzling" plate. The sizzling squid was OK in taste and price but I didn't get the garlic rice I ordered! No napkins were provided. Server was neither available nor attentive. Restrooms weren't very clean, the sink was clogged. All in all, we won't come back although the pricing was OK.

Didn't advise ahead that the food we ordered was not available, we had to wait for a time so we decided not to push through with our order. Also the cashier told us that there are no PWD discounts because it will be taken out of the cashier's paycheck and that the restaurant will lose money bc of the discount. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

A nice restobar with decent food and decent prices and videoke/karaoke, a bar and billiards. I would have given 5 stars but both times we have been there the waiters could hardly be bothered to assist us. It's not that they are shy around foreigners because a number of the guests were foreigners.

We ordered two plates with chicken. One with some chili sauce and the other one with some butter. We received the plates and they looked amazing (see the photo), but when we started to eat, we realized they were just bones with crispy crust on them. It was very difficult to find some meat for 5 bites 🤦‍♂️ The price also was pretty high. If you go there, please do not order those.

Nice place by the road. For late lunch was the place empty. Waitress brought us tablet with menu that had enough detailed description of local dishes. The selection is quite wide. Sadly many of the items we ordered turned out to be not available. In the end we tried fried gambas, pan fried dumplings and sizzling sisig, with beers and rice our order sumed up to 450 PHP. Price/Quality ratio is good.

Excellent food at a very reasonable price considering where they are. Many selections of food to include breakfast. I confirmed their serving hours are 6:30am to 8:50pm. They also carry cold drinks and pasalubong. I will eat here again.

If you want to eat local food with local and pay good prices, come here instead of inflated Alona prices.. veggies 30 peso for portion...morning glory, beans are good in this veggie lacking country. Noodles so so for 30P, beef soup for 2 is good but tad pricey at 250P, chicken adobo and for are 80P for like a piece of few pc. Rice is 20P. 4 of us ate for 690Peso ($12us). We ate here for lunch 3 times but sometime they run out of foods if you come later after 1-2pm. All locals eating here.

reasonable price food found along the streets of alona, panglao. considering where it is situated, this will satisfy your need of food especially as a tourist looking for a budget friendly eatery. The only thing concerns us was the dust are everywhere and no electricfans. It was on a hot weather. We dine around 11am. We just ate fast so that we can look for a different place to hang.

I just wanted to eat some vegetable so I went here. The lady told me the veg dish was 30peso and meat dish 80peso. Chopsuey was 60 since it had a bit of pork.

The foods were really good, and the serving time is acceptable. The serving literally is good for 2-3 pax. Staffs are accomodating. We waited quite some time kasi mejo madami tao during our visit. Will totally recommend.

Mosa as I known one of the highly recommended restaurant and bar. We went here because it has unique, Instagrammable ambiance, often described as having a Mayan cave-like or Boho Chic design, adorned with intricate wooden formations and Bali-inspired elements. ​We only ordered coffee and some drinks here but for real fair, their coffee is not top tier. I ordered matcha with espresso and I was surprised that the additional shot is worth P120 pesos. QThough probably the beans they used were imported but then it did not reached my expectation. A bit pricey for the taste. Expected more, tbh. Decent coffee, but nothing special. Maybe what's best here is the food? sadly we haven't tried but Mosa deserves a second try. I'd visit again and try some from their food soon.

The restaurant is super beautiful with its decoration and design. You will feel so relax and joyful when you dine in the restaurant. Although there is no aircond but it was not hot even outside was sunny. The breeze was just nice to make you feel relax. The foods portion was big. On our 3rd day in Bohol, we decided to have dinner at Mosa, one of Panglao’s well-known go-to spots if you’re after a vibey and picture-perfect place to dine. I honestly didn’t expect much at first because sometimes when a restaurant looks too good, the food doesn’t live up to it. But Mosa surprised me. The moment we arrived, the atmosphere already felt right. The place is bright, lively, and beautifully designed. It has a mix of different cultural influences, with a Southeast Asian touch that makes it feel warm and tropical. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for small groups or families who want to relax and enjoy good food. Now for the food. We ordered quite a spread to really experience what they offer. Here’s what we got: 1. Quattro Bruschetta 2. Salmon with Tarragon Cream Sauce 3. Smoked Paprika Ribs 4. Chimi and Polo 5. Caveman Steak 6. Bear-ry Bliss Smoothie 7. Fishzza 8. Coco Mango Chicken 9. Chocolate Smoothie Every dish had something unique. The Quattro Bruschetta was a bit dry but still flavorful. The salmon was excellent, and the cream sauce added a nice balance. The Smoked Paprika Ribs had that comforting southern BBQ flavor that really stood out. My personal favorite was the Chimi and Polo. It’s a whole chicken cut in half, and each side has a different flavor. Both were so good that it felt like having two dishes in one. The Fishzza also caught me off guard. It’s basically bangus topped like a pizza, which sounded odd at first but turned out to be surprisingly good. The toppings worked so well with the fish. Mosa is one of those places where the vibe and the food complement each other. The staff were friendly, the service was smooth, and the whole dining experience felt well put together. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but with the quality and ambiance, it’s worth it. Plus, it’s just a short distance from Panglao Beach, which makes it an even better spot to end your day. Would I go back? Definitely. Mosa isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience worth repeating.

The rice in the second dish tasted like it wasn’t freshly cooked, it was cold and slightly hard, indicating it had been sitting for a while. When I raised this with the waitress, she insisted the rice was fresh, but it was clearly not. Overall, the food quality was just okay, a bit pricey for the quality and looks. My gf who always takes photos of dishes when we go to restaurants didn't even think of doing so here. We then enjoyed playing pool on a good-quality table, and the atmosphere was decent. I appreciated the music, and the owner was polite. I’d recommend coming here for the bar and pool rather than the food.

This is family run business and the owners are amazing people. The food here is delicious and the menu has lots of healthy food options which is imported for me to eat healthy. They have excellent pool tables in the front and quiet dining area in the back with a second bar. By far the best food in Panglao. The service is excellent and the staff is always friendly and welcoming, always feel right at home every time I go there. If you are looking for some amazing food and a great place to unwind I highly recommend Chicken City Pub. Chicken adobo, and chicken fillet are my favourites with steamed vegetables and rice.

Front bar and cool rear entertainment area with native theme. Service with a smile from the attentive Pinay waitresses. It's a chill vibe and a cool retreat in the spacious outdoor setting. A good variety of food choices and a well stocked bar. Two improvements l suggest is to serve bigger portions of the delious food and update the menu to be more user friendly...hard to read. Do yourself a favour and check out Chicken City Pub and Restaurant! You will be pleasantly surprised.

I just ordered food for take out and the sauce was spilled all over the plastic they didn’t even pack properly knowing that there is some sauce in it. The taste of the beef meat does not taste like beef too. The way they sliced the meat and vegetables looks so bad too. Not recommended if you want to try their food. Poor service. I regret to order their food 350P for dish but really not good. Waste of money.

Some managers/owners don’t realize that they need to be polite to non-customers. Such as; Sure, you can use our CR Sure, you can take a shortcut Sure, you can come in until the rain stops. One prospective customer can lead to more. Don’t turn someone away because you don’t get paid for something the first time. Being turned away means “not coming back” for anything.

Just when I arrived close to Panglao I stopped my scooter front of some pub for getting WiFi. I didn’t have connection and now accommodation yet. I was hungry and thirsty too. I saw so friendly waitress named Rica behind of the bar desk at the back yard of the pub. Very quick I got gold San Mig light front to me. Then she recommended for my dinner chicken curry. I asked her if she know some good accommodations nearby. Pub owner recommended Higala Resort to me and he also called to the resort owner. I got so easily everything, beer, food, accommodation and so good red wine with my dinner. I was really happy. I really can recommend for everyone Chicken City Pub. All personnel there were very friendly too😊.

I don't recommend this place. Food was just ok and took for ever! And cash only, no cards, and the person said WTTPH! (Welcome To The Philippines) Service was almost none existing! Music was blaring from this restaurant AND the one next to it, was like a competition for the loudest! Also construction going on across the street with banging and sawing. never go back again

Good local food provided here! I like their fried shrimp and chicken breast! Salad and fried rice are just so so. And the service is a bit too slow! We have been waiting for a long while. However there are lots of flies as well.

Probably the best meal we had in the Philippines. Described as "fusion" cuisine, this is really Filipino food with a modern twist, and all the better for it! This restaurant wouldn't be out of place in a fancy London "street market", and would likely be one of the best restaurants to boot.

It's basically one of the many stalls in a food alley. The al fresco dining area is shared by other businesses, thus the space can get easily crowded, the seats limited. It has no parking area as well. But the food it offers is delicious, and considering how affordable most of the items are on the menu, the place is a real treat.

Awesome place with tasty food! Servers are fast & friendly. Food arrived fast too. Choose from seafood, vegies, meat boodle & eat with your hands for the complete experience. Foreigners: boodle fight is native food spread out on a banana leaf (rice, grilled fish/meat, fried pork, etc) and you are meant to eat it with your hands while sharing it with your companions. Costs 1500php +. They also have seperate dishes too. It can be suuuper busy, call or fb msg ahead to make a reservation for a table & ask for a parking space too or face parking 6mins away.

Food was good and affordable 👍 the place was a little bit small still nice though

We had such a great time at this restaurant! The food is amazing and the portions are insanely big! We are from Canada and this was a really great experience with all beyond polite staff and great tasting food! We especially liked the pork skewers we got! And the cheesecake at the end was a cherry on top of a great night! If you want the true experience definitely order one of the platters. Even if you're just 2 people you can get them - as long as you like seafood!!

Best to come with a group of people and have the boodle fight. Be comfortable eating communally and with your hands. Though Filipino food isn’t my favourite, this place is an experience and I can imagine that the atmosphere if you come when it’s busy is a lot of fun.

Value for money and the food was really tasteful. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place that the locals eat it. Restrooms arent clean. This is not a luxurious place so manage expectations.

By far the BEST boodle fight restaurant in Tagbilaran/Panglao. Their food is tasty & fresh. They also serve pink rice for the health conscious. Price starts at 1500pesos-ish, depends on the boodle you choose from seafood to vegies, they have it. They serve separate dishes too. Call to make a reservation for table & parking space.

The Reef is one of my favourite hang-outs in Panglao. Love the laid back atmosphere, friendly staff and the ever-changing collection of expats who gather here. AND: The food is remarkably good. Honestly the best pizza I’ve had in Panglao. Also recommend the big yummy burgers. And if you are a fan of Canadian cuisine, try the poutine, a real treat. Cheers to Doug and the staff. Walked from our resort and it was worth it! Best money for value food on the island, owner who welcomed us, gave free shots, and just wants everyone to have a good time. The pizza was good, and the wings were amazing! They got the buffalo flavor taste down 100% Nice to see people from different countries converge, feel welcome and just enjoy the night!

I loved this place, mainly because of Alfred (who served guests and works the kitchen) who is so welcoming, fun to be around and all round great guy. That was until I heard how poorly the owner treats his staff. Good luck to the employees there, don't tolerate being treated like trash by your employer.

Unfortunately, this establishment engages in questionable practices to suppress or discredit negative reviews. I feel it’s my responsibility to ensure potential visitors are aware of the reality. The bar fosters a toxic atmosphere. I used to frequent this place regularly but stopped after witnessing an appalling incident. A particularly large and aggressive customer was openly hurling racial slurs at others, creating an extremely hostile environment. Shockingly, this happened right in front of the manager, who chose to do absolutely nothing despite my complaint. It was as if such behavior was entirely acceptable there—a truly disgraceful display of indifference. The food is overpriced, and its quality fluctuates significantly depending on the chef’s mood. The frequent turnover of chefs only adds to the inconsistency, making it a gamble whether you’ll be served something decent. That said, their chicken wings are reasonably good. In summary, if you're seeking a quality experience—be it in atmosphere, management standards, or food consistency—this is not the place for you. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend it.

Had a great dinner experience. The staff was very friendly, we came early so were the only one having dinner at that time but the atmosphere was still great and vibrant with a Latin playlist on the background and the disco lights on. Tortillas are handmade and taste great. Tacos are very good and well portioned. Definitely recommend! 🇲🇽

Great hidden gem:) This places does delicious fresh tacos and also great drinks (the margarita was great). You can tell that the owner, Andres, is from Colombia as the flavour is as authentic as it gets outside of South America.

We came based on the reviews on Google and were not disappointed. Simple menu with tacos and quesadillas and both tasted good. It isn't right in the middle of the Alona Beach area which we preferred after going there many times already. Staff were friendly and accommodating of our requests. Recommend!

About the food, it's really the best you can get. From pork, fish, chicken, beef to vegetarian. The price is per taco, and they have all diffrent flavors, so you can decide how many you will order. The service was great and the waitresses where very polite. The restaurant is near a busy highway but the (mexican, salsa etc) music oversounds that so it won't bothers you while having dinner. I recommend this place

Unfortunately the food not tasty. We had to return the food since we could not eat it. The manager was very accommodating after our feedback and we did not had to pay for it. Cocktails were okay. It's a bit sad since the location itself is nice.

We came two times to try different meals. The first one, on Sunday evening. We ordered the beef curry. It was tasty but in the menu it says " 400 gr, good to share 3-5 pax" I didn't see 400 grams, really, it barely was enough to have 2 spoons each of us (2 people). French fries - good amount and taste. Then they had a Tea compliment, which was tasty too. The atmosphere was regular, there was just 1 more couple and that's it. So, after this visit we decided to give it a second try: We arrived at noon to have some pizza. First, AC is strong as hell inside. And outside it was raining. We decided to leave. Downstairs there was a coffee shop. And we found out we were able to order the food from the restaurant there. So, why the waiters don't do any effort or smoothing the AC or providing the info about you can eat downstairs without the AC. Then, the pizza with Salami that says extra cheese... Had everything but cheese. I would not recommend it. The base was pretty raw too.

First of all there was no Chicken, so half of the menu was not avaiable. They told us we could share the dish (Beef Curry) because its for 3-4 people. It was absolutly not! Its for 1 Person, MAXIMUM 2. I dont know why they say in the menu its 400g beef, it was not even close to that! It was not more than 200g. When i told them that this is not appropriate lying to the customers about the amount and for how many people it is, they just noded and absolutly know what i was talking about. It doesnt make sense writing it in the menu if its NOT like that. So all in all, we would not come back.

You can't wait till we get a table, get served service water, get comfortable, only to tell me most of your menu is unavailable - literally, one after the other we were told that it was unavailable. Pizza? Unavailable. Oh okay fine, we'll order calamares, nvm unavailable also. How about fries as a side? Sorry, unavailable. They didn't even have regular canned coke! We took our time to read reviews, compare you to other places and decide to spend our money here. We ended up getting pasta, and granted the portions and taste were good, the experience was just such a let down. We understand your stocks may have been low, but it would have been nice to have had the option to expect something else and get all the necessary information before we sat down. Plus, cajun shrimp pasta with only 1 piece of shrimp? Come on. Very sweet people but sayang.
