Everything about this restaurant is exceptional except for the long wait to get in. It’s so popular that the reservations were booked out until the next month. We tried to get a walk in table. We had to wait 2 hours for a table. BUT once we did get a table and had the food all was forgiven. The food was so delicious! Go here if you have a night to wait for a table. The food is worth it if you’re happy to wait. Once you’re in, the service and atmosphere is excellent. You can also order snacks and drinks while you’re waiting outside.

We came here without a reservation (they’re fully booked for weeks!) but decided to wait for a walk-in spot. Ended up waiting about 2.5 hours – and honestly, I’m so glad we did. The vibe outside was great; they served drinks through a little window, and we got chatting with locals and other people waiting. It actually made the wait really fun. Once we got in, the service was amazing. The sous chef helped us choose dishes since some of our group don’t eat pork, and everyone was super friendly. We sat at the counter and got to watch the kitchen in action – speaking to chefs as they dished up their plates. The food was incredible! The watermelon and tomato salad, shrimp sauce with bread, and tuna picapau were my highlights. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully cooked. Totally worth the wait and the hype. This place made the perfect start to our trip and was one of the best places we dined at. If you can wait for a table to clear, trust me you won’t be disappointed.

We had a great time here. Reserved in advance and got a table right away, however saw some people come early and put their name on the waiting list for the next available table so that is also an option. The food was amazing and beautifully presented. Waiters were also very attentive and kind. Definitely recommend!

A restaurant is an experience. If judged on the food alone, O Velho Eurico would get 6 stars. The food is incredible and reasonably priced. The issue is its pretention. It claims to accept reservations online, yet it only does that for a very small number of tables. Perhaps even just one table. I know this because I tried making a reservation about two months in advance and was not able to do so. I even contacted the restaurant directly and was told my only option was to arrive at the restaurant at opening (7:30pm) and reserve a table for that evening. So I did. I got there 30 minutes early and there were already 10 tables ahead of me waiting on the line. By opening time, there were at least 10 more tables after me. I then waited until about 745pm to even get to the host to put my name on the list and was told it would be an hour and 15 minutes before I would get a table. It was two hours. I finally sat down with friends at 9:45. They had about 5 main dishes, a handful of smaller dishes and a few desserts - not by any means an extensive menu. I also didn't think the staff particular nice - they weren't rude but weren't overly helpful or accommodating. Now, like I said before, the food was incredible. All of it. Top-notch execution. We had the chicken peri peri, duck rice, pork pocket (similar to an empanada), fries with Francesinha sauce, and leite creme. But to think that it's ok to ask tourists in town for just a few days to sacrifice 3 hours of time to wait for a table seems absurd and pretentious. For that reason, I cannot in good conscience give this restaurant give stars. This is an easy fix - so fix it. Permit reservations. And if you are concerned about people not showing up, charge a fee for late cancellations. Or just accept people on a first-come, first-serve basis. But do not put your customers through this circus of an ordeal.

Lisbon is packed with good restaurants and bistros, but this was our favourite, especially when considering the price/value as well as the ambiance! Delicious, authentic food with some creative twists such as the octopus in orange sauce. All sauces were made to be scooped up by bread at the end. Friendly staff who seemed to be enjoying themselves, and a very short selection of good Portuguese wines. We started queuing 40 minutes early, which might have been a bit early, but did not regret it when we saw how long the queue got in the end.

We dined here last night and it was hands down one of the best dining experiences we've had during our five-week trip around Europe! A word of advice: go in with an open mind. Be willing to try new things and embrace the authentic, rustic charm of the place - if you do, you’ll absolutely love it. We didn’t have a reservation and arrived around 7:15 PM. The staff added us to the waitlist and estimated about a 1–1.5 hour wait. No problem! We grabbed a drink at a nearby bar, then returned to enjoy a drink in their outdoor area before being seated. We were lucky enough to be seated at the bar, which turned out to be a real treat - we got a front-row view of the kitchen where everything was cooked with love, passion, and incredible efficiency. We ordered the duck rice, piri piri chicken, squid with orange sauce, and fries. Every single dish was phenomenal - packed with flavour and beautifully prepared. To top it all off, we ended the night with their delicious sponge cake, enjoyed great conversation with the friendly staff and fellow diners, and left with huge smiles on our faces. Highly recommend this spot - it’s a true gem!

Lovely place with delicious food. Traditional Portuguese dishes with an interesting and tasty twist. The staff attention was outstanding; I went with my fiancée and they make us feel very comfortable. One of the best part, when they offered us a bagaço 🫡

I had high expectations when we came to this place to enjoy a good ice cream, but I was a bit disappointed. Not too many flavors available, the scoop size was quite small and considering the high price and the average quality I cannot recommend it. The store itself is nice, but it seemed overpriced overall.

I don’t care if you’re vegan or not this is the place you have to go to! If you are a vegan you have to tell people about this. For some reason Google made it look like this place wasn’t a 100% plant based so we weren’t expecting much. However, we’d been told we had to go. When we walked in and found out that every single thing on the menu (whether it was donuts, ice cream or coffee) was fully plant based we might’ve flipped out a bit 😅 We tried four donuts and an ice cream and I may have seen the light of heaven for a moment. Absolute, undebatable must if you’re in Lisbon!

Wow wow wow, incredible! Both the donuts themselves and all the additions, worth the price and the calories, don't miss it! We also went to the Cascais branch for ice cream and it was equally impressive.

We arrived at 11:14 AM, just fourteen minutes after the official opening time, and the experience was already off to a poor start. ​Outside, the seating area was unusable because the employee hadn't set out the chairs yet. Inside, I was hoping to buy the macarons that have been heavily featured in their advertising, but they were unavailable. ​When I decided to order a donut instead, the employee seemed visibly annoyed, as if I were bothering her. She stated that she had to finish setting up the ice cream display first. It felt like I had arrived before opening hours, not after. ​When she finally boxed my donut, she didn't even ask if I wanted to eat it there. Visually, the donut was beautiful, but at €6.50, it was very expensive. The taste was only average. I would value a donut of this quality at around €4.00 at most. ​Overall, it was a disappointing visit due to the poor service, lack of advertised items, and high price for average quality.

Incredible vegan ice cream!! 100/10!! So creamy and delicious. And the workers were SO kind and friendly. The scoop size was generous and so was the offering of samples! I will absolutely be going back and recommending this ice cream!

Amazing! I tried the lemon poppyseed, chocolate hazelnut and raspberry vanilla. The best one imo is the raspberry vanilla, it feels so luxurious it doesnt even feel like a donut. Its more like the kind of desert you find at fancy restaurants. The hazelnut one is loaded with nutella. Lemon was the lightest one with no filling, more like a regular donut. They were all excellent at their own thing with the raspberry one being the most unique. Cant go wrong with this place!

Soooo good! For anyone doubting vegan doughnuts and ice cream - it's absolutely worth it! The hazelnut and banoffee pie doughnuts were delicious :) The gelato paired well, very creamy! And if you want to, tip the staff as they are very friendly and appreciative!

Very good menu. Its the detail that's great on their dishes. The oil on the scallops was very interesting, maybe a dash of a nut oil. The tomato salad had a very nice white wine vinegar. The chard goat cheese was perfect for dessert. I would recommend that over any of their desserts. Very happy with the meal. Cash only held back our ordering...

Wonderful, varied flavored sauces made for a very pleasurable meal. No reservations, cash only, wait at the front door to be seated! Old school. The sauces on each of our four dishes: scallops, flounder, shrimp and squid were different and all had layers of flavor making the sauces impossible to not spoon out finish all of the sauce. The shrimp dish was especially memorable, with a bit of a sweet sauce with just a touch of chili heat, and then the squid, with a more earthy sauce, that was also excellent. Service was very friendly and patient in explaining all the dishes on the board. Cost was very reasonable. Went early, no wait, by 7pm it was packed. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing Authentic Portuguese Experience at Taberna da Rua das Flores! Taberna da Rua das Flores is truly one of Lisbon’s hidden gems! From the moment you step inside, you feel the warm and lively atmosphere of a real Portuguese tavern — cozy, charming, and full of character. The food is absolutely incredible — every dish feels like a creative twist on traditional Portuguese flavors. The menu changes daily, which makes each visit a new experience, but everything I tried was fresh, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. The sardines, the cod dishes, and the seasonal tapas were all outstanding. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. They took the time to explain the dishes and recommend excellent wine pairings. It’s a small and very popular place, so expect to wait a little — but trust me, it’s worth every minute. If you’re in Lisbon and want to taste authentic, soulful Portuguese cuisine in a unique atmosphere, Taberna da Rua das Flores is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious and staff very friendly. Loved the slow food approach, one dish at the time, so you can try various things and enjoy the food and hanging out with friends. Octopus was so soft, and goat cheese excellent, and don’t get me started on scampi. All in all, love the place

Average food with complicated menu and extremely rude staff. The place is nice but all the menu performance is long and unnecessary, you don’t remember half the things. The short guy with black hair was so rude and disrespectful, I’ve never been treated like that before, the music was so so loud that we asked to turn it down a little so he did and five minutes later he turned it up again and we asked again, he did. Did happened 4 times! And every time he would be super rude and just before we left he came to say “is the music ok now?” So disrespectful and mean. The girl was super super nice and felt ashamed of his attitude so she was extra nice. The food was nothing amazing and we tried almost everything, the menu is such a boring thing. They bring huge board and explain each thing , after 4 explanations you don’t remember the first, just the names of the food are very self explanatory. Wouldn’t recommend this place. The guy ruined the experience with the loud music and attitude. We felt bad for the girl and left a food tip just for her.

One of our best meals in Lisbon. Arrived Saturday when they opened for lunch, no line, didn’t get busy for a while. Scallops, shrimp, and mushrooms were all fantastic - each had a nice, interesting twist on really classic dishes and Portuguese flavors that made it stand out among everything else we ate.

A highlight of our Lisbon’s adventure; the food was amazing - small portions to share which gives the opportunity to taste different platters. The wine was great as well as the dessert. A bit of improvement might be done in regards the staff approach as at first they could seem unfriendly; though once seated we had a good experience.

Great vegan food, atmosphere and service! The food was delicious, the waiters were kind and friendly, the ambient was welcoming and clean! Good price for the buffet, it's all you can eat, but desserts and drinks not included.. I tasted a little bit of everything and after the first plate I was already almost completely full.. if you want to be full and satisfied it's the right place, I recommend!

This is the best vegan restaurant I've tried so far! The buffet is more than complete, they have soups, salads, hot and cold dishes, I've tried everything and it's been exquisite. The food is very well prepared, tasty, fun and colorful. The natural juices are also very good and a curious fact: they are pure juice, they don't put ice in your glass! Had a fantastic dinner here on one of our last nights in Lisbon! The dishes were spectacular and extremely well executed. Would recommend a reservation. We reserved on a Monday night and saw many walk-ins sent away.

Had an amazing experience at Ao 26. As a vegan, and if not, I was so impressed by the versatility of the choices and the way they take traditional Portuguese cuisine to a new level and being plant based. Very nice atmosphere where proper AC so great in hot weather as many other places didn’t have proper AC when it comes to vegan restaurant. It’s an upscale restaurant with decent vegan food. I loved the mix starter package which was amazing but sadly didn’t enjoy the steak as much. Just think I am not really into simple seitan steak tbh. I wish they had a course set menu instead to try different like their mix starter package. It was nice to sit in a calm cool place and enjoy the food!

We enjoyed the Portuguese assorted appetizers. The “octopus” salad made with king oyster mushroom is really nice, so is the scrambled tofu. The main dishes for us were not so impressive as the appetizers. But it has a good portion. Service was attentive.

We were looking for a vegan Restaurant during our Lisbon visit. With the Ao26 we made a great choice. The food was fancy and super tasty! Service and the location also remarkable.

Amazing food at Ao 26. We shared the traditional Portuguese starter board and tried the vegan francesinha with a surprisingly real-looking ‘sunny side-up egg’, the Simone pasta with vegan ricotta, and the Islander. Everything was well made and tasty, and even the non-vegans enjoyed it. The bubbly sangria and the chocolate mousse with olive oil and salt were also good. Definitely recommend going here.

The food is absolutely delicious! Obviously all pork but thought I should mention it. If this is against your dietary requirements you should steer clear. If it's fine, do yourself a favor and go! Head chef Alex is a wizard in the kitchen and in the front of room. He's a big reason why we'd go back. Wine selection is on point and his recommendations always a bullseye. A must do!

Quietly confident, deeply soulful stories told through pork in all its inventive forms, local produce elevated without ego, and flavors that make you pause mid-sentence. Lisbon’s culinary scene is bursting, but Pigmeu is that rare spot where you leave feeling not just full… but grateful.

This place is a labour of love, and without exaggeration, the best pork I've ever eaten (and I've eaten plenty). Top marks to the torresmo do rissol (aka pork scratchings) and the dish of the day and the best fries. The staff were friendly and offered great guidance on food and wine. Hope we'll be back some day. Well worth the short journey from central Lisbon.

The tasting menu is not bad, but I wish they gave us more solid local hits. It’s a pork focused restaurant, but we were a bit disappointed in the selection of food they gave. Also, the owner nudged us to tip, which was a bit weird.

We had an excellent dining experience on a Wednesday night at Pica-Pau. We were seated in the back patio room which was light and airy. The wait staff worked together to pair the perfect wine (Pegos Claros Claro from Setubal region) for our dishes which were very tasty. We started with the bread and clams. Then enjoyed the Grouper and Prawn Rice and the Alentejo Pork cheeks perfectly cooked. We were too full for dessert. Recommend and will return in the future.

Went to Pica-Pau for a solo lunch prior to my flight out of Lisbon. The food was absolutely delicious and the service provided was a true testament to the generous hospitality of the Portugese. I requested if my meal could be staggered in its service as I didnt want to rush through and they very kindly accommodated the request and so I managed to spend a leisurely 1 to 2 hours enjoying my meal and my own company. The ambience was cozy and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and recommended Pica-Pau to friends and family who went to Lisbon after my return.

Nice energy and vibe at dinner. There was bit of a lineup when we finished. Decided to order 3 small plates - roasted chorizo salt cod cakes and suckling pig filled pastry. Main was grouper and shrimp rice. Dessert was sponge cake with custard. Service was helpful and friendly. Good was excellent except for the chorizo which was too salty for my taste and made hit have been over cooked as it was dry and chewy - not what I was expecting. The rest were excellent. Would come back for sure.

Awesome stuff! Try pica pau for sure, one of the best meat dishes I've eaten. Especially the sauce is great. Tuna escabeche was cooked very good. Nisa cheese is also a very light cheese that went great with the salad. The service people are very helpful and nice.

Lovely, cosy contemporary take on a classic Portuguese restaurant. Staff are all very friendly, attentive and speak perfect English for anyone who’s worried about a language barrier. Food came out swiftly with very little waiting. Maybe not so great for vegetarians or vegans but still plenty of choice for carnivores and pescatarians. Highly recommended!

Came for lunch without a reservation and was able to get a table. It's a nicer restaurant but not super fancy. I goT the duck rice for a lighter lunch. It was simply prepared and yummy to eat. The smoked chorizo added another dimension to the meal. The lemonade 🍋 was also a good choice for the heat today. Lots to see and check out in the restaurant as people watching is a must.

We arrived at the restaurant half an hour earlier than our reservation, but the staff was super friendly and seated us after only about a ten-minute wait. Unfortunately, a few dishes were sold out that day, so we ordered cod and pork. Since my friend and I wanted to share two drinks, the server kindly gave us four straws. The cod was absolutely delicious! I especially loved the pickled vegetables and breadcrumbs that came with it. (I hardly ever eat fish, but I ended up eating a lot because it was that good.) The pork, however, was a bit dry, and the buttery mashed potatoes felt too greasy for my taste, so I only had a couple of bites. Overall, it’s a place I’d definitely visit again. The atmosphere was cozy, and I liked that you could see the kitchen in action. Everything made me feel really comfortable.

I was lucky enough to get a spot at the last minute through the waitlist, it is an intimate place so a reservation is a must. Delicious food and high quality produce. It is hard to compose a 7 course vegetarian menu at Michelin star quality but this place does it and it is relatively affordable. The music was a bit funky for my taste but it is a matter of preference and others might actually like it. The dining room is tastefully designed and the staff are knowledgeable about the dishes and attentive. High recommendation, keep on the good work

Some dishes were totally memorable and refreshing. All dishes were well balanced. Some were a feast of textures. It is one of the rare fine dining restaurants that I have visited and I have thought I'll revisit if I ever get the chance. I think the only weak points were the bread and the cheese platter, for my taste. They were quality products but they were not that great, relative to the other dishes. The bread was something I can easily make (One of my evaluation criteria is always whether I can make a similar food or not). Cheese platters have never been my favorites. This one wasn't an exception neither. It had some nice elements but I think they should always be optional at an additional cost.

We definitely cannot call ourselves experts in Michelin Star restaurants, but we can feel when we have a great experience. We enjoyed the food (especially the vegan one) and the wine pairings even more. The staff was polite, friendly (but not over-friendly) and the overall experience was great. We definitely appreciated the low voice level of the staff and the calm atmosphere.

The restaurant is very warm and inviting, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. The food is fantastic and unique. I would recommend trying the restaurant even if you’re not a vegetarian, it’s worth it and not overpriced at all for a Michelin place.

We had an amazing time. Each dish was absolutely delicious and memorable and both the wine and LO/NO alcohol pairings were so amazing they really elevated the whole meal. The service was wonderful. We have been fortunate to dine in a number of wonderful restaurants and cities around the world and this experience is at the very top of our list.

A great vegan restaurant in Lisbon! We very much enjoyed our dinner here. Reservations are accepted, but most evenings it is not busy enough to require a reservation. You can just walk in. They have full menu and also plenty of cocktails, beer, and wine available. It is definitely a place that we would return to again for a delicious vegan meal.

Went there two days in a row. On the first day I ate a soup and the cauliflower wings which both were delicious. Tonight I asked for recommendations for recommendations because everything sounded delicious to be honest and I am glad I asked because the dishes both tasted amazing. I started with the main course Tofu à Lagareiro. It really across the seafood vibe of the original dish without being to fishy or anything. And the peanut mood was also right up my alley so all it all it was a lovely dinner. The service team was very kind. I only waited some time to pay both times because it was busy. Today I just went upstairs and paid at the register.

Great atmosphere, stylish decor, good vegan menu and tasty vegan food/drinks, and very cheap. The restrooms didn’t smell great, but overall the place was very nice. Most of the staff were absolutely wonderful – super kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, one waiter (tall and slim) was rather nonchalant and came across as a bit passive-aggressive. He was also laughing about customers to other colleagues, thinking he was being discreet, which was unpleasant.

I had the superbowl and my husband had the sweet potato and mushroom wellington, both were delicious. I’d even go to say my superbowl was one of the nicest meals I have ever had. Worth coming back to Lisbon just to visit the restaurant again. An added bonus, it’s dog friendly as well!

Delicious food and friendly, attentive staff. We had „cauliflower wings“ for starters which were amazing, and for our mains the tofu and the superfood bowl - you wouldn’t believe the vegan chicken isn’t the real thing. Mango Wango mocktail with many flavours including turmeric was great too. Highly recommended.

Truly exceptional! Service was amazing, with all of the staff very friendly and polite. Everything on the menu looked appealing and it was tough to choose. I eventually opted for the croquettes to start which were very tasty and full of flavour. For main I chose the Polvo à Lagareiro (Octopus) which I loved. Despite knowing it was a vegan restaurant I initially thought it was octopus, but this wasn’t in an off putting way, it had just been thought through really well with flavour and texture. The accompaniments made for a very filling main meal. I finally finished with the Tarte de Nata, which was a great ending. Thanks to all the staff for a great meal. I can’t wait to come back and try more!

Dined here because of the reviews, and this was one of those times the hype didn’t come close to matching the experience. Party of 5 with 3 vegetarians and two non vegetarians and the consensus was a below average experience across the board. The scallop appetizer was tasteless and a waste of 13 euro. Three orders of the sandwich and none were enjoyed, all served on a piece of what seemed like bland white bread and smothered with tasteless cheese. And two orders of the bbq ribs which were not enjoyed at all. It took 2 hours to complete the dinner because the service was slower than molasses. This was undeniably the slowest service we have had in Portugal. We were asked if we wanted dessert, and we said yes we would like to see the menu… cue in 15+ minutes of waiting and no menu was provided. We did manage to get a check for 130 euro which we eagerly paid so we could leave. And the highlight of the evening was getting pizza after dining at Kong because we were still hungry. We have dined at many vegetarian restaurants in Europe, and this was the worst experience we had.

We came about 15 minutes prior to opening and waited. This was on my list, and I was quite excited to visit. It took them about 15 minutes after opening to take our order, but it was worth the wait. The ambiance is great. Chef Ricardo Vitali personally spent a great deal of time with us explaining the genius of his methods and technique and the lengths he goes to ensure consistent high quality standards. This really brings out some of the most fabulous vegan dishes I have had that remain true to Portuguese cuisine. The cheese platter is superb. Their sauces are perfection. The signature Kong sauce with the Francesinha sandwich was my husband’s favorite. We also had the salmon and the chef graciously offered us a complimentary taste of the ribs. That red wine sauce is one I will remember. The only let down for us was the pistachio dessert it was poorly plated and came to us well after half the gelato had melted. The pastry was doughy and chewy. To his credit, Chef Vitali was receptive to all of our feedback and said he would check it out immediately. An unfortunate finish to an otherwise amazing meal. It was an honor and privilege to meet and spend time with Chef Vitali. Humble and personable, he is a true pioneer in the world of inventive vegan cuisine. Highly recommended.

It was a random visit when I passed by and looking for a place to eat. I stopped because of the name Kong that made me first thought it was an Asian restaurant. But when I saw the menu was Portuguese cuisine i stepped in without hesitation and with curiosity. The manager Pedro who received me was a very warm and gentle man who made you feel welcomed and comfortable directly. He has a charm through his caring and service. He speaks definitely very good English in a humble manner. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant and the dessert Pedro recommended was so tender and it just melting in mouth with satisfaction and joy. The main dish i ordered, it was a Portuguese traditional dish but it wasn’t at my best taste preference. But nothing wrong with the dish itself. Reasonable price, lovely and relaxing interior design, professional and caring service is what you can expect from this place.

Everything was so amazing that we had to come back a second time during our vacation! The dishes are so tasty, in big portions and made with fresh and tasty ingredients! The staff is also very friendly and overall lovely! Recommended for both vegan and non vegans ❤️

This was my second time visiting this restaurant. First time I went in 2022 and they were in another location. I did love this one much better. The food was still as good and all my non-vegan friends were also impressed. Had the pistachio dessert and it was to die for.

If you're vegan/vegetarian this is a great option, they have really good food and juices, I went there with a friend and we ordered one salad, one pasta, and 2 juices. It was really delicious and at normal prices we spent like 35€ between both of us. The only complaint I could have is that the menu is really short, but it helps you order quickly. Great service, recommended.

I had a delicious lunch in Lisbon, Portugal at Organi Chiado, an organic, vegan restaurant, centrally located, in the downtown area, which sources all its food directly from local farmers and producers. All the food is fresh, and free of chemicals and preservatives. I started with an appetizer combo of a homemade, cashew based cheese wheel, with fresh, moist, cut squares of homemade, gluten-free rice bread, and the most delicious Portuguese olives one can imagine, garnished with lime zest and minced garlic. I think that Portuguese olives are my favorite! They have such a rich, dynamic, and distinctively unique flavor! The waiter told me that the olives had been freshly delivered directly, earlier that day, by the olive farmer. I followed that up, with a generous, delicious, and satisfying main dish plate, comprised of all organic, baked carrots, baked red onion, baked sweet potato, baked tomato, fresh quinoa salad, large, fresh avocado slices, fresh raw red cabbage, arugula, walnuts, balsamic glaze, and crisp salad greens. I had a refreshing, cold glass of organic strawberry lemonade, made with the pulp of lemons and strawberries. This restaurant is a wonderful destination in Lisbon for vegans or anyone who appreciates vibrant, organic, farm to table food. Organi Chiado features both outdoor and indoor seating. It is best to walk here, or take public transportation, as it is in the heart of pedestrian and car crowded downtown Lisbon. Leave your car at home. Organi Chiado is centrally located in Lisbon and has a beautiful presentation. I went there for lunch—the food was thoughtfully prepared and visually appealing. However, as a longtime vegan, I found it not quite filling and a bit lacking in nutritional substance. Overall, a good experience, but there’s room for improvement in making the meals more satisfying.

We just had one of the best meals at Organi Chiado. The staff were all very friendly and the food was incredible. We also had the white sangria which was really great. Highly recommend this place. Great quality and everything is vegan.

Had a great time at Os Tibetanos. All Vegetarian but the vegan options are clearly written on the menu and the staff can help clarifying while ordering. Really liked the vibe and the decoration. Curry were well seasoned. Also amazed to find vegan Petit Gâteau!

My friend and I decided to get a Too Good To Go meal from Os Tibetanos, and it was the best choice we could have made! The lady was really friendly and even gifted us two desserts (with cream, banana, strawberry, and chocolate: perfection). The Too Good To Go meal was complete with all the nutrients you need, and it filled us up, letting us enjoy the afternoon in the park! The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very welcoming, and we would be happy to come back again!

Delicious Tibetan restaurant with a vegetarian menu and a lot of vegan options which was awesome. The service was quick and cordial and the food was really tasty. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice with many Tibetan elements. We did not have a reservation but we were seated immediately on arrival. Definitely a great option!

I want to write this place a good review but that would not be honest. The service was excellent! The food was not good and it wasn’t the best vibe. I would say that it is probably more for the young traveller crowd. It is the right place for people travelling on a budget or in their 20s. The food was inexpensive and was an accurate representation of that. They have a party or night club vibe so don’t go here with a baby. We went here based solely on google review score and we were not the right crowd. Despite this, the servers were really kind to us. So I really wish I could give a good review.

What a fun and cozy spot! The food was absolutely delicious — crispy calamari, cheesy quesadillas, and the most comforting baked dish loaded with flavor. Everything tasted freshly made and full of heart. But what truly makes this place special is the atmosphere — cheerful waiters, friendly energy, and a relaxed, happy vibe that makes you feel instantly at home. We were at Leve Leve for lunch. Ordered sardines tomato and onion and quesadilla and local beers. Our server Niyon was amazing! Services was great that made our time much!

Me and a friend of mine ate here on our stay in Lisbon. This is a very nice place, the staff was really nice and the atmosphere very portoguese. We shared Sardinha Lisboeta c/ Tomate frito e cebola, Quesadilla de Vegetais c/quejio and Pastéis de Bacalhau. We loved the Bacalhau, it was really crunchy. The Sardinha tasted very good, too. The Quesadilla was a bit greasy but eventually with the spicy souce it was fine. We really recommend the place, we really enjoyed our meal here.

Came here for lunch just by chance. I ordered the chicken skewers with peanut sauce and garlic cheese bread with a glass of white wine. The chicken skewers were bar none the best chicken skewers I have ever had- so flavorful, moist; just absolutely delectable; with a slice of orange to squeeze on top and a perfectly sweet peanut dipping sauce. I could eat that dish every single day. The garlic cheese bread and wine were also good, but the chicken was the best dish I’ve had in my 4 weeks in Spain/Portugal. Really quaint little place off the beaten track. My husband had the vegetable and cheese quesadilla, which he also really enjoyed. Excellent, friendly service. Would highly recommend. Very reasonable as well. They do take credit cards.

Hidden behind a non descript door is a creative and deeply satisfying vegan restaurant with a small menu (which means they focus on each dish) and a bright inviting atmosphere. Me & my wife had the most fantastic experience in The Food Temple at the start of June (apologies for the late review!). The food was so unique and delicious and you can see how much passion and expertise goes into the food from the chefs. Such a wonderful variety of flavours, tasting menus were made for this! The option to eat outside on the steps was so perfect and magical but inside is lovely too. Most importantly, the staff in the restaurant are simply the warmest and friendliest people you can hope to meet which makes the experience so wonderful. David was the first person we spoke to, such a lovely person, we didn't get the names of the others but every single person was so warm and welcoming. Obrigado a todos! One of our best ever experiences in a restaurant and we hope to have the opportunity to come back again.

I went there yesterday night with a couple of friends to try the restaurant for the first time. The good stuff: the food is delicious and well presented. We sat outside on the stairs and the weather was very nice and great atmosphere. The bad stuff: our waiter was passive aggressive and assumed we’d know what some dishes contain as if we were experts. Safe to say he gave us a bad impression about the service there. The food portions were small and we didn’t get the value we paid for. It feels like we dined at a “high-end vegan restaurant” rather than a casual eatry spot. Which for the location and where we sat DOES NOT convey high-end at all. There are other vegan restaurants around Lisbon that have bigger protion size dishes for the same prices or less. My suggestion: lower the menu’s prices and train your waiters on being more friendly and patient especially that there are ingredients on the menu we didn’t know where they came from or even how to spell them.

AMAZING FOOD We stumbled upon this place at the right time, we got right in, no wait and had the best vegan food I’ve had in a long time. Nothing like I’ve ever ate before. The mini tacos were so good we got two orders. Highly recommend.

Reservations recommended, we got lucky and walked in with no wait. The roasted beet root soup was delicious. You can taste the beet and the lime really bring the flavor out. The heart of Palm croquettes were cooked to perfection. The insides were soft and mushy. The pairing with smoked paprika aioli was divine. It left me wanting more of the aioli. The leaks and strawberry BBQ was an interesting combination of flavors. The textures were all very soft and mushy. The leeks layered at the bottom of the tofu made it difficult to eat. Mini tacos are fun! You gotta get your hands messy, but it’s my favorite on the menu. The chewy, well seasoned and cooked seitan was well balanced by the crunchy coleslaw and sour cream. Polenta and eggplant cream was tasty! The eggplant cream and sun dried tomatoes well balanced the polenta. I think grilling the polenta to make it crispier on the outside would add more texture. Phyllo cups were served warm and to perfection! We finished off with the dessert tasting plate. Recommended items: beet soup, croquettes, tacos.

Amazing atmosphere and food that is constantly evolving. This is my favorite vegan restaurant in Lisbon and the first one I typically recommend to people. It also has a charming location that is tucked away. Highly recommend. But get a reservation because it’s really popular

Café Janis is one of those places that just gets it right—great vibe, beautiful space, and food that hits the spot. The yogurt granola was easily one of the best I’ve had—topped with fresh fruit and these beautiful maraschino cherries that added just the right pop of flavor. The pancakes were fluffy and came with a stunning blueberry compote that felt more like something out of a bakery than a brunch spot. The Turkish eggs were soft, silky, and perfectly balanced with chives and that rich yolk oozing out. We also tried the lemonade nacho topped with a soft egg—surprisingly simple and really satisfying. The kids devoured the bacon, which says a lot. Energy here is upbeat but relaxed, and the service was solid. Definitely a spot I’d hit up regularly.

Very satisfied! The dishes were very tasty and the atmosphere was great! The staff were very kind and accommodating. They help without any problems, speak English very well, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The prices are very affordable, no one rushes you, and you feel welcome when you’re there. The waiter, Vinicius, who served us, was very professional as well as friendly. The place was full, but thanks to the service, we still felt like we were the only guests there. A very pleasant experience!

Very nice breakfast spot! Cool vibes and the staff was very friendly. Depending on the dish the sizes can be a bit small. For example the avocado toast is a big portion, whilst the pancakes wouldnt be enough. Other than that its great! Would visit again. :)

We came very spontaneously visiting Lisbon and Janis was our first breakfast in town.. what a luck. These guys welcomed us effortlessly lovely and took care like we where the best known guests. It felt just easy being with you and the healthy Menü is a good start into the often culinarily sweet and long days 😅

Phenomenal breakfast We had: Turkish eggs: super fresh and delicious Shakshuka: which comes with halloumi cheese, pickled veggies and crème fresh and toast. Very flavorful and generous portions Also had a cap and a flat white. Both were amazingly done, great espresso pulls and very balanced. Also their sweet potato fries are thick cut and tasty Juices were amazing too, Atmosphere is great; lively, gentle music, cool decor, hanging plants, very clean and vibey bathrooms with high quality soap!

Following the review from some of the YouTubers and we gave it a tried. For $3, I can say this can be one of the best, reasonable price for lunch. Nothing special about the pork meat but the bun and the sauce was 🤤 delicious. Great meal or snack mid day. They were super fast, kind with tourists and we enjoyed that we were able to have a good Portuguese food on the go. Took 10 minutes from entering the line to getting our bifanas (the line had about 15 people in it), as there’s a small courtyard you can sit in, although it can be busy

Cash only place The bifanas here are very tasty! They're more flavorful and you can really taste the wine and spices. The pork is less tender than other places but it's still very good. The bread can be a bit too floury. There can be a huge line-up so if you see a short line-up, goooo. The Patanisca de Bacalhau (fish fillet sandwich) is a cold fish fillet sandwich which is a bit odd, but the fish is tasty. I wouldn't say get that unless you really wanted to try it. This place also has Super Bock on tap! You can get a big or small size, and the small size is perfect for me for a lunch drink. Be sure to give this place a try if you're getting bifanas!

Small takeout place for a Portuguese specialty, the Bifansa (stewed pork sandwich). Only 3 euros for the regular sandwich or 5 with cheese. Great portion size and definitely fantastic value at this price point. Highly recommend for a quick bite to eat. You can also add some chili oil and mustard. The bun was nice and soft too. Would definitely get it again!

Long queue, goes quite quick though, €3 for a basic bufana that is quite filling and hot too. Ordered and served in about 2/3 minutes which was great. Definitely recommend adding on the mustard on the side, just takes it to another level, pork is tender and pairs well with the bread. Would gladly come back again and again.

Well, this is definitely a hidden gem tucked around the corner from a lovely park. Had a really wonderful meal here the zucchini carpaccio was not only beautiful to look at, It was delicious and a great way to start off a meal. The pizza crust were super crisp, thin and blackened from the Woodfire oven, toppings delicious, a fun place to go for an intimate meal or pick up and take home. If you’re in the mood for pizza and in the neighborhood go! Even if you’re 20 minutes away go!

Very nice and familiar place! Pizzas were on point, thin, crispy dough, good ingredientes and overall top pizzas. Tiramisu was the bomb, loved it. We went with a little baby and all staff sere super welcoming and chill. Totally recommend.

Definitely enjoyed this little spot. We did not have reservations but they squeezed us in since we were very early and only 2 of us. We shared a pizza and it was delicious. After scarfing down with my hands american style I noticed they eat woth a fork and knife. Oops. I did not feel judgements though. Wine was also very enjoyable. Bathroom available as well inside. They got very busy very fast. Definitely make reservation.

This place was so good! I love thin crust pizza and this is one the best I had. I also loved that I felt great after eating my pizza - not super stuffed, just well fed and happy. I had pannacotta for dessert and it was fantastic too. Watching folks prepare pizza just added a little excitement. I would recommend and go again.

From Mexico here. This was exactly what we needed after a full day excursion in Sintra. Language was not a barrier since every dish was numbered. That made ordering super easy. Staff was pleasant and the food came out quick. On top of that, food was consistently yummy.

The food was okay, but not outstanding. Portions were a little bit small and everything is a la carte, even the rice is purchased separately. It felt unusually unfriendly for a Cantonese/Chinese restaurant. In this area, where there seem to be a lot of Asian restaurants, you would think that they would try to be more competitive. Not a favorite, and I doubt I will be back.

Note: this is relative to other Chinese food we've had in Europe, not in comparison to Chinese food outside Europe (esp Canada, China, Taiwan, etc.) It seems very difficult to get excellent Chinese food in Europe. So, in terms of what to expect in Europe, this is excellent. It is probably almost as good and authentic dim sum as you will be able to get in Portugal unless you go to an actual Chinese person's house who has access to all the right ingredients. I came here almost exclusively for the woo kok (taro dumpling) as I miss them and proper Cantonese dim sum is almost impossible to find here. Thankfully these were perfect. We also managed to get a lot of authentic HK/Cantonese dim sum dishes, all done pretty well. (Rice rolls weren't great though). And there was no Worcester sauce for the beef balls. What a bonus to find tripe too! All in all, better than most Chinese food we've had here so far. It is not meant for the white British/American "chicken balls and chop suey" tourist type of people. Service was perfunctory. I don't need a big smile and conversation all the time. She took our order, and all the right food came soon after. Nothing wrong with that. Also, in good news, at least half the customers were Asian so that is a good sign. Definitely will come back for our dim sum fix.

Food is really nice & service is quick. 3 star rating as meat dishes all came with bones in; my order was steak in black pepper sauce, my partner's order was chicken in spicy sauce. The bones being left in made the meal less enjoyable but nothing we couldn't get over. There was also a language barrier which is understandable as we are English in a Chinese restaurant in Portugal, but still a contribution to a lesser experience. The clever way the staff got around the language barrier was to put paper and a pencil on the table for you to write down the number next to your meal, but this fell down when asking for no pork in our fried rice as the waiter didn't understand. Price is good though, food is tasty and staff were quick / friendly

Yummy dim sum! We came with a group of friends the day before and tried a number of dim sum dishes. For the uninitiated, dim sum are like tapas - small plate of dishes. There are no main courses. In fact, Chinese dishes are typically served together and you eat what and when you like. The dim sum is authentic. It reminded me of the dim sum I used to eat while working in HK Island and my favourite dim sum restaurant in Toronto, Canada. I particularly like the chicken feet in black beans (206). I had two portions! ☺️ We also ordered har kau (201) - prawn dumplings, siu mai (202) - meat dumplings, turnip cake (213), spareribs with black beans (222A), char siew pau (234) - buns with meat, chee cheong fun (236 & 7) - rice flour crepe with meat, etc. Not forgetting the very important pot of chrysanthemum tea to accompany the dim sum. We feel satiated. Will definitely come again. PS some reviewers commented negatively about the staff - unfriendly/unhelpful/don't greet you. I just want to say that at best, they are just reserved which is not uncommon among some Chinese. Btw, I do not speak Chinese and I don't feel slighted by their lack of Western-style greetings. I found out that the lady server speaks decent English... She is just shy. 😉 Tip: To request the server to top up the teapot with hot water, just tilt the cover.

They serve very old dimsum, you can taste even deep fried. I spoke to manager in Chinese, she said it’s fresh. It’s s not true. I know dimsum very well. Other male waiter has cocky attitude too. When my husband drop the food on the floor, this guy just stand in there and roughs. He didn’t even help or say something….it’s my third time here. Food was good other too times but this time was unlikely even waiters attitude. Neve again. Do not eat dimsum in here.

Authentic Cantonese / Hong Kongese taste in Lisbon, very good for the price. More filing in some of the salty dishes could be better.

We had the 12 dish course and were blown away by almost every single dish. The price is incredibly fair, the service was lovely and the whole experience lasted for about three hours. We were very satisfied and full by the end, but never felt like we were forcing down another dish because the amount was just right. The dishes were all fermented in one way or another, which was a great theme, and they all tasted very different. Cannot forget to mention the wines. We tried a lot of them, and even though we didn’t have a glass of each one but still had a generous test-sip, they only charged us for the glasses we went with. Highly recommend if you’re in Lisbon to enjoy your evening here. Make a reservation. It was full that evening and it was a Monday!

Such a unique and enjoyable dining experience. Fabulous taste sensations and great service from all the staff. Congratulations to the whole team… so much work is involved in creating each dish. The tasting menu is a great way to try lots of things.

Wow! The group I came with decided to try the tasting menu and we were so happy, a diverse menu, delivering so many flavours that left non vegans completely satisfied. The staff were great, the atmosphere was good and the food was amazing. A must visit in Lisbon.

A welcome escape from Lisbon’s ubiquitous red meat and seafood Gambuzino is an understated retreat from tourist hell. Sadly the food was not what we had hoped for. Everything arrives looking like an individual work of culinary art, but it looks better than it tastes. Of all the six dishes we tried, the lettuce bites were the most memorable. It seemed like the kitchen eschewed spices as a house policy. Nice people. Pretty platefuls.

If you go to one restaurant in Lisbon- this should be it. Wether you are Plant based or not, what they do is pure magic. Everything well balanced, innovative and delicious. I highly recommend taking the tasting menu and experiencing it all. Thank you for sharing your talent♥️

It’s rare that humble vegetarian fare gets elevated to haute cuisine. And rarer that it’s done so well that meat meat almost seems present. O Gambuzino pulls off this trickery like the chimera of its namesake. Oyster mushrooms in miso butter are tastier than the scallops they emulate. Homemade tempeh has more umami than a piece of meat. Bibembop explodes with enough flavor to make you ask “where’s the beef” and not caring about the answer. Everything is exquisitely prepared, from homemade beet kombucha to the silky smooth humus with chewy sourdough focaccia. And you’d be remiss if you didn’t leave room for the finest banoffee which you’ll enjoy too much to care that everything you just ate was a triumph of plants.

One of our best food related experience in Lisboa. We had a tasting menu with the fantastic 12 meal which was truly brilliant as well as the service and our helpful waiters. One of the best places I’ve tried in Lisboa! We got here on our first day and had the most amazing experience with the waiter teaching us some Portuguese words. The food was amazing, the menu is really original and we could sit outside in the sun with a fresh beer and fries. What more could we ask for ??

Highly recommended! One of the best vegan burgers I’ve ever had – incredibly juicy, creatively topped, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The sides and sauces are also amazing. A must-visit for anyone who loves good food – vegan or not!

The vegan burger was absolutely delicious! The patty was flavorful and had a great texture, and the fresh toppings really made it stand out. I loved how well-seasoned and satisfying it was without feeling heavy. It’s one of the best vegan burgers I’ve had, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

We sat out on the sidewalk in a rain tent. The service was good. The nachos were tasty with a yummy sauce and would have been enough food to share along with a beer, except we came very hungry. We also had a burger and the seitan tacos. No real complaints except the tacos would be even better with less salt and more spices like coriander and cumin to add healthier flavours. Overall it was a pleasant meal and we were happy that a vegan place was open and serving food in the early evening.

A small place with charm. It was our first stop when we arrived in Lisbon. The first day we ordered tacos and one burger and I have to say it was everything delicious plus the Brazilian waiter was lovely and super helpful. As we wanted to end our last dinner in Lisbon in the same place where our culinary trip started, we came back but this time it was a bit disappointing. The food was fine but the waiting times were a bit too long. Still I would highly recommend this vegan place. On a side note, my friend said that the tacos were even better than some that she has tried in Mexico!

It's been three years since I've eaten here. The good was still delicious. And service with a smile. Expect both English and Portuguese, so, no worries on ordering your meal. Payment is cash or card.

Lovely place run by very kind people, the food is very affordable and everything tasted amazing, they really put a lot of love and effort in to the food, they have fresh and healthy daily dishes and great options for brunch. a must visit if you’re in Lisbon💙.

If you’re in Lisbon you have to go to this lovely vegan spot. In this family-run restaurant that’s open from 10am-5pm, you can taste the love in their delicious homemade food and their kindness feels like a home away from home (for us). You can also find them at some fairs in the Lisbon region. We truly cannot recommend this place enough, it is so worth it that we ate their food 3 times in a 4 day period. And we still wish we could go back for more… Everything was delicious, but if I can recommend anything it’s the puffpastry with “ham and cheese” or the slice of quiche with salad, and the chocolate cake with peanuts or, more refreshing, strawberries on top. They have delicious dark chocolate milk too. The bread with cheese and ham was also very good, as well as the scones with raspberry or apple and cinnamon. Their pastries and cake do switch up every day, so you have to check inside with them first. But I doubt there is anything not delicious that they offer. So go visit them and enjoy!

I would like to give one more star for this location. We were greeted very warmly and friendly. Even the menu card was explained to us with all our heart and soul. The dishes were all freshly prepared and very delicious. His story about the restaurant, which has been around for over 10 years and was the first vegan restaurant in Lisbon, was also exciting.

Lovely vegan authentic restaurant. We tried a lot of vegan restaurants in Portugal, and this one really has that domestic and homey vibe. We had “Plate of the day” and it was delicious. They really proved that you can have a tasty and wholesome vegan meal without avocados and quinoa 😁🌿 Staff is very nice, and one thing that I really like is that they are 100% vegan, unlike most restaurants that offer here and there some dairy or fish. Plus, prices are good and portions are big.

We enjoyed the desserts in plenty and my personal innovation of an espresso mixed with the yogurt with nuts was fresh and cozy. We had coffee with oat milk and pastel de nata to go, both very delicious. The owners were incredible friendly and the price was also good.

A must visit in Lisbon!!!! I have rarely visited such an authentic, heart warming and tasty family led vegan cafe. The intentions here are pure and simple - tasty home made vegan food and amazing coffee! The owners are extremely friendly and take the time to explain the menu to you. The coffee is so tasty and there are so many milk alternatives. We had the biscoff coffee and never have I tasted such thick rich vegan creme in coffee. We also had the tofu salad and the ham and cheese toast. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. I also recommend to try the self made pastries, even if you you don’t prefer sweet you will fall in love with their craft. A huge thank you to the owners for their friendly service. I can only recommend this lovely cafe. Also remember to bring cash :)

Absolutely blown away by this authentic Indian restaurant in the heart of Lisbon! The moment you walk in, you’re hit with the most incredible aromas. The family and staff were super welcoming and made us feel at home. The service was excellent, and the restaurant has a very chilled and relaxed vibe. We came back twice in 3 days, the samosas are parcels of perfection! The pure vegetarian food is finger licking delicious. The main highlight is the egg free naan, the whole meal felt authentic and great value for money! This memory is one of the most amazing experience during our time in Lisbon and we can’t wait to come back!

Have visited numerous Indian restaurants across different countries but this is the BEST I found. Authentic Indian taste. Full course menu (one can find standard main course everywhere but they have Indian chaat variety and snacks too with authenticity). And 100% Vegetarian. Unlike other restaurants which have only few veg options in a menu full of chicken, lamb and prawn !!!! Very good service…both staff and owner himself (Dharmesh bhai). Everytime I have to eat Indian food in Lisbon, I will not go anywhere else….

I just tried the Kachori Chaat, and it’s a great addition to the menu . The kachori is crispy and has a flavorful, filling. Topped with cool yogurt, tamarind chutney ,it’s the perfect balance of flavors. The extra pomegranate , beetroot and herbs give it a fresh twist. This dish is definitely worth trying , I highly recommend everyone to try this dish. Also , paneer tikki dry , cheese garlic naan, tofu mongol ,and rashmalai was the best. The food in Shree ram is the best, My favorite place to visit.

The first impression was quite unusual: To receive entry, you had to knock on the old hardwood door. To me that was a bigger thing than it should be, because it engaged to disconnect with the world outside. Lovely detail. The inside is stylish. The Encanto has a very unique still. Be it the, very comfortable chairs, the playful wall papers or the tables, which clearly had a life before and luckily no one tries to hide it. The fragrance of the candle rounded up the overall extremely pleasing atmosphere. I was very satisfied with the service. Nice people, who seemed to genuinely like what they are doing. All questions were answered and no one was shy to admit if there was something the did not now. I did go with the non-alcoholic pairing. The first course, or moment as the Encanto calls them, was by far the biggest disconnect of the evening. It only really came to my mind on reflection, so please excuse not mentioning it personally: The edible gold does not fit the story the Encanto tells. In a vegetarian, zero waste and very local restaurant this unnecessary, unsustainable decadency put me off. Next up were green peas and green almonds. Lovely combination, nice acidity to round it up. Enjoyed the no-waste counterpart with its flowery freshness. The pine nut turnip was well done, but did not excite me overly. The Kojo,jasmine and orange infused water was a real delight. The green asparagus did disappoint me a bit. Die to very strong acidity, the flavours were not as prominent as they could have been. I would say up until here, I was not so convinced, but after this point the menu stepped up its game considerably. From green, we went to white asparagus. While I am usually not a fan of the white, this asparagus blew my mind. The combination with the miso was amazing. Some acidity, some freshness. Next in line there was an explosion of taste. Fava beans and wild garlic were a rolling thunder, the excellent salad delivered a nice crunch and the ginger beer was complementing it perfectly. To me the beetroots are a „course of the year“ contender. Perfect presentation, strong flavours, playfully embedded in differing consistencies. Truly a masterpiece. The fruity sour cherry drink was the perfect match. Working towards the end of the warm dishes, I was arriving at the mushroom dish. Very well done, strong flavours. Not as exciting, but very, very tasty. The fermented pear juice with slight spiciness was a great choice. Truffle, butter and leak - do I need to say more? That dish pushed my culinary buttons :). Lovely drink to accompany it. The first desert - strawberrys and elderflowers -was simple. That’s by no means negative, as it fitted the menu perfectly. The second desert looked very lovely, it had pleasant flavours, but was not on the same level as the last ones. Overall I was very satisfied and had a great evening at the Encanto. Fully recommended.

An amazing experience in a gentle atmosphere playing great jazzy sounds. The food was exceptional and the service and presentation was phenomenal. Did a 12 course with 6 local wine/port pairings. If go ask for Maria and Alfonso you won’t be disappointed.

Great tasting menu and excellent service. Be prepared for a long dinner of 12 tasting courses. Some of the dishes we tried were some of the most unique we’ve had.

Unfortunately the food did not wow me. Out of the 12 courses, I would say only 3 were good, the rest were either simply ok or sub standard. I always like to support vegetarian restaurants but this one was not worth the money.

Love this place. Living locally and the team always welcomes me and the dogs back. Dog friendly with a super chilled atmosphere inside. Perfect place to escape the day sun and perfect place to enjoy a sundowner also. Cocktails are perfection and so too is the menu. A perfect mix of healthy eats, smoothies, fresh juices and booster shots. The Greek passion fruit yogurt with granola is so good. They make a mean flat white also. Nice cool trendy bar, cafe, clothing shop. Good quality food, nice place to be wether dining inside or watching the Lisbon world go around outside. I had the focaccia which was €4 and delicious for a simple bite, and my wife had Olives which came with a surprising amount, and Sweet potato crisps and pesto, both very nice and was about €6 for both. I also had an IPA Beer, named "Weekend" which was around €5.50 , I was a little surprised when I was given the can of Beer and glass to be honest, obviously not a massive negative.

Cozy vintage cafe for a meeting friends and having a great time. Koa has a super service who make drinks, cocktails and smoothies at the open bar in the middle of the room. Even though we were the only guests the staff was very attentive and friendly. We felt that Koa is designed to give customers that feeling of being home and just relax while enjoying some delicious drinks. The musik played simply matches that vibe as well as the furniture. We want to recommend the Basil Mango Ice tea and the green smoothie. You even have the option to add extra healthy powders such as spirulina or vegan protein powder.

I got a green juice with the addition of chlorella, it was delicious! Loved the baby edible flowers, very pretty. My boyfriend got a tropical smoothie it was equally delicious. We got the cheese board & the veggie plate… 10/10, scrumptious, delicious, we ate every last bite & between the two of us were completely satisfied. One of the cheeses on the board was not cut & we weren’t given knives. But once we asked we were brought one. We asked for feta dip which they forgot to bring but sincerely apologised for the mistake. The service was a bit slow but our meal was certainly worth the wait. The service was friendly & the space is very pretty with a hipster vibe. They even have rescued parakeets inside that apparently prefer being caged. I will be back! They sell clothes in the back also & you can pay for surf lessons with them too.

Came in on a hot day and wanted a refreshing smoothie to cool off. Staff was nice a friendly. I ordered one of their berry smoothies and a cocktail. Both tasted great! Love the atmosphere inside and they have a pet dog and a bird chirping in a cage.

Fantastic modern dumpling restaurant with an excellent, exotic and wide assortment of dumplings. Well worth it. Nicely decorated and comfortable cozy interior, which is not always the case in Alfama. We loved the Seafood Bao Bun pan fried dumplings which came with a delicious sauce, the Chinese Pearl Meatball Dumplings with Sticky Rice and the Chilli Crab and Chicken dumplings. Service was excellent. Highly recommended.

One of the few places in Lisbon that offers amazing quality food for reasonable prices. The prawn sesame toast and sesame ice cream were out of this world. Service was great and we had a cozy table looking out on the street. We will 100% be back!

Everything was delicious and not heavy, fulfilling the ideal definition of dim sum. Traditional dishes were modified for modern ingredients and taste. Simple presentation, nothing fancy like JNçQuoi Asia. Our server was very nice and explained the various items' portions and preparation. Turns out he was a former Nepalese basketball pro. The chef was also very nice.

So this place is top rated and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. The dim sum was not good, the flavors were just ok, it really tasted like it was just frozen and steamed/sauteed/whatever. Did not feel properly crafted or like it was homemade.Not to mention it’s also SO OVERPRICED. I recommend to not go here, the service was fine, and the space is really cool looking, but overall it isn’t worth it.

Their genuine hospitality and smiling faces in welcoming us, 20 mins before the kitchen closed, deserves a 7 star rating! We had the wild mushroom steamed buns and shrimp dumplings. Both were delicious, flavorful and vanished off our plate in seconds! Great ambience to get together with family and friends! All the staff had great personalities and were charming!

A really great find in Lisbon, Portugal. I am Celiac and went on a quest for a GF eatery. Wow Traditional Portugese egg tarts was just the start. (Nata) We ordered appetizer of Pastel Goreng as a starter followed by Ayan Penyet for myself and Kwetiav Goreng with prawns for my husband. Also a side of Terong Balado as a side. My husband said he could have enjoyed more spice in his dish. There were options to have spicier sauce. We enjoyed a nice glass of white wine and Pandan cheese cake for dessert. The passion fruit sorbet with the dessert was amazing. All in all I can only say 5 star for our gluten free community and your friends can join you without sacrificing flavors by eating gluten free along with you. Wonderful experience Also should mention that one young woman handled the whole front end as well as walk in traffic. The place seats approximately 36 guests. We were not kept waiting and service was with a smile. Bill... 65 euro for all

We came here for the gluten-free pastéis de natas, but it turns out that all of their pastries are gluten-free! Get there soon after it opens and the natas are fresh out of the oven and still warm! After a week in Portugal these were the first GF natas that I was able to find and definitely worth the wait. If you're on a gluten-free diet and in search of a custard tart experience while in Lisbon, I highly recommend this place!

Hallo, Yesterday I came to Lisbon. and took the time to come to Bali do Cais. I ordered Batagor and Ayam Geprek. The food was served very well and the taste was very good and there were many more Indonesian dishes on the menu, the owner was also very friendly. I will take the time to come again if I return to Lisbon. 😎😎🥂🥂

The food taste is so good, The Service is very friendly and explains the food perfectly ,even advice which one is authentic Indonesian. The restaurant is big size and overall atmosphere is good. The location is very good as well and easy to reach, Few downsides: The bathrooms are very small compared to the size of the restaurant , yet very clean. Rhe food portions are different between the size dishes and main dishes. For example, if you choose rice as side Dish, it is bigger than the rice that comes with the main dish. Which is weird. The prices not consider cheap.

Very delicious food. We had Rendang, Kwetiau, Laksa, Sate, Batagor and Cendol. Portions are a little small for the price, but the taste ist absolute amazing. You have to be albe eat plenty of spices.

Vegan Food Review 🌱 I had an 18 hr layover in Lisbon, Portugal and this was the (planned) first stop on my trip. I literally checked into my hotel, dropped my bags, and navigated to this spot. 🍔 I cannot resist a good vegan burger! As an American, with billions of vegan food burger options, I realize I am a bit spoiled. But, I was soooo grateful for a vegan burger place so conveniently located in the mall, I would be hard pressed to complain about anything. The service was great! The counter attendant was so pleasant and did her best to help me navigate the menu. The photos, of course, were super helpful. I was famished and over ordered. Shown here is the “H*ll Burger”, a protein burger on a bun, covered in coleslaw, cheddar cheese, and spicy mayo. It definitely sent me to heaven instead of H*ll…juicy goodness… everything you want in a burger. I’m a bit of a fry snob, but these passed my test; however, the Oreo shake just did not deliver for my taste. 😔It was watery, not thick and creamy as a shake should be. I did, however love the whip cream on top. Would I go back? Absolutely!! I want to try every burger on the menu. One, to support vegan options like this to keep them in business and two, they offer such a variety you can’t help but dream about all the other offerings.

Amazing to have the option. I had the cheeseburger and it was okay but the cheese flavour was overpowering. The fries were stale despite how quiet it was. The oreo milkshake however was delicious, would definitely order this again - tastes like cookie batter! Service friendly and quick.

In a shopping mall, the place is one more food counter. The service was fast and kind. Burgers are very tasty and prices are in the average. The best part is that it is just vegan!!! Hard to find a vegan burger shop. Recommend

The Food was really good although I don’t really like Burgerpatties made out of only vegetables. I prefer the fake meat ones. But the deserts, milkshakes and fries are amazing!

I’ve been wanting to try this place ever since they first opened but just never did (since vegans are practically suffocating in veggie burgers from every direction lol) … ordered a meal today and it was really anticlimactic. I’ll start with the good… the spicy cheese balls… they were amazing, so yummy, amazing texture, perfectly spicy. 10/10 would eat again but they should have come with a chutney or nice sauce instead if ketchup packets. The banana vanilla milkshake was okay, just okay… not much flavour & I didn’t like that it had ice cubes in it when ice was clearly already blended into it. Lastly the “don’t be a chicken burger” …now that was horrible! Weirdest burger I’ve ever had & I’ve been vegan almost 10 years so I’ve had a lot of veggie burgers. This was one of the worst. The bun was totally soggy & mushy, the curry coleslaw in it was yummy despite being such a tiny little amount… the cheddar was fine, the Mayo was flavourless, the “fake chicken” burger patty was DISGUSTING… soooo dry, lumpy, chewy, did I mention dry?? … weird colour, even weirder taste… I’ve never had a burger that was just so so bad. And why did I pay €1.45 for pickles as an extra when they gave me two tiny slivers of a mini pickle?? My non-vegan friend got the same “don’t be a chicken burger” a few months ago also & said it was horrible but I didn’t believe him, I thought he was just saying that because he wasn’t used to faux meats… well sh*t, he was right. My first and last time ordering from here… which is a shame because I love to support vegan business… but the price simply doesn’t match the quality. There are countless other vegan & veggie places in Lisbon with way better veggie burgers… Moko veggie cafe for example has a chicken style burger that’s not only good (unlike this one) but is absolutely delicious!

A cute little bistro with very tasty vegan food. We tried the brunch, where you get everything - toast with extremely tasty mushrooms, salad, bolo do beijo, jam, vegan cheese and biscuits. In addition, you get chia pudding with very tasty granola and fruit cake with crumble. They also serve a cold and hot drink of your choice. We chose a flat white and kombucha. Brunch cost €20, flat white €3.40. An incredible vegan taste experience that I recommend to everyone. The atmosphere is homely, but at the same time special, and the service is excellent.

Amazing place with the nicest people! This spot also wins the coveted “best vegan Benedict award!” Food was good, Kombucha was good, brownie was good, and music was good. Overall vibe very positive. Highly recommend!

The vegan mushroom toast was the highlight of our visit, the unique flavour and mix of ingredients was amazing. The vegan brownie was warm and crunchy, the perfect amount for a small bite. If you are looking for unique tasty food and a warm welcoming service and atmosphere, Pequeno is the place to go.

We walked past LOCAL and decided to check if they had lunch spots available and we were pleasantly surprised by the high-quality, well-composed dishes they served. The “Octopus with Avocado” came with a whole eight-armed octopus, and the “Black Rice and Prawns” included a generous portion of prawns. You definitely won’t leave hungry, and the quality shines through in every bite. Highly recommended!

I came for lunch and ordered the halloumi salad and strawberry lemonade. The salad was tasteless and the lemonade was awful. I complained to the waiter that I didn’t like the lemonade after tasting it, but I still had to pay for it. The prices are very high and absolutely not justified. I definitely wouldn’t come back again.

The menu and spread are good. That’s where the fun ends. The coffee wasn’t good. The lunch wasn’t great either. The staff was really rude. I am not one to leave negative reviews: I firmly believe that the waiters have a tough job. Despite that, on this occasion, it was an appalling experience. We had to ask for water a million times before we were served; the plate in which I was served was chipped: when I told the waitress, she said ‘tell the management’ in a really offensive tone. Honestly!!!! The food sucked too! That’s a story of its own.

This was our favorite place to eat while we were on holiday in Portugal. The food is amazing, clean eating, and flavorful. Great atmosphere and the staff was awesome.

Yummy food!! We ordered the roasted duck with vegetables and the prawn stir fry and they did not disappoint. They were so good and the flavors felt light and healthy. It’s a bit on the expensive side but it has a very nice quality and quick service.

It's a really wonderful place, loved the food. Really good portions for the butter squash Lasagna and the acai chia pudding was wonderful with textures and flavors. The people there were also lovely and wonderful.

The food is all whole foods, fresh and healthy. The drinks were DELICIOUS; we got the carrot and the pineapple mix. For food, we got the Chicken Teriyaki with egg noodles and asian style vegetables and I had the Mediterranean Chicken with Red Rice (includes cranberry, almonds in the rice and green yogurt sauce). As an appetizer my bf got the Tuna Tartar and he enjoyed it very much. There was no wait, we walked right in, sat and were served promptly as it wasnt busy.

I love love this place!! I always come back for the Honest Salmon, it’s my favorite. The food is super fresh, service is quick, and the place looks beautiful inside. I also love the fresh juice refill option - you can try different ones! Great value for money overall, definitely one of my go-to spots in Lisbon.

My family and I absolutely love Honest Greens. I know it’s not traditional Portuguese cuisine, but it’s my favorite place to eat every time I visit Portugal. My favorite dish is the Latin Lover bowl with the Piri Piri chicken.

I ordered a salad but there really isn't much vegetables in it for my liking. I also found they were a bit too generous with the fats (hummus and avocado) for *my* personal preference The flavoured waters are fun, though I wouldn't order again. I really enjoyed the tofu, the purple potatoes and the variety of colours (pomegranate, pickled onions, etc. etc.) Definitely order double tofu Recommended for keto and vegetarians, Challenging for low-fat diets.

I went there to have a quick snack in order to satisfy my hunger. Since I love hummus, I ordered it with a healthy drink. When you look at the ingredients in the hummus, you'll see that the menu doesn't list coriander. This was my first time encountering "schug." Hummus has a terrible taste because of coriander. This needs to be added to the menu as a warning. A healthy drink, on the other hand, is something very light-tasting and no sugar, more like water.

By far the worst experience at an honest greens. Staff was impolite and kind of rude, not helpful. Our food was avarage - I had the loaded tomato toast and the “poached” egg was really just too raw, the egg white was still clear, which is just really unappetizing. Pieces of kale were so dry I couldn’t chew them - felt like bones. The Turkish eggs were good. Our americanos were more resembling long espressos, but after asking they gave me extra water.

Would definitely recommend. They rely a little too much on Beyond Meat products BUT they have great flavor. Everything tasted fresh. The service was friendly and fast. We’ve always enjoyed restaurants that have that Bohemian natural chic, non-pretentious type of atmosphere.

Nice vegan place with tasty food and evening bar atmosphere. All the dishes were delicious, portion size a bit smaller than usual - a dish per person wasn't enough for me and my husband. But tacos with seitan were really fascinating, definitely recommend them. And chocolate muss was also terrific. 100% better than it looks on my photo ^___^

The most delicious pizza base I’ve ever had! Ordered the cheeseburger, fried momos, mojitos and a tiramisu to finish and we were both really impressed. Didn’t leave feeling too bad, which can be the case with some vegan junk food places. Friendly, quick service, good price and plenty of choice. Two points of feedback would be: - the overuse of iceberg lettuce, it would’ve been nice to have something more interesting alongside the momos - the burger pieces on the pizza were one large chuck per slice, it would’ve been more enjoyable if there were smaller pieces spread across the whole thing

A variety of vegan foods available here and an affordable price. I recommend the BQQ and Vegan Sisig. Food quality was overall very good. Although there was one occasion where they added far too much salt and it was difficult to finish the meal. There was no acknowledgment of this either. But other than that I enjoyed it.

Had a really lovely time here, even came back a second time. First time was late in the evening, had burgers and drinks and even some dessert, the women (I guess it was the owner) was really nice to us, even laughed with us and made the stay really memorable in the best way possible. Would totally recommend, came back ourselves again over lunch and for some coffee, was always as good as the first time!

Went here because of the great reviews. I ordered the Patata & Salicha Pizza after I asked for recommendations and they said everything is good. I did not know if I did expect too much when choosing but the flavour was quite disappointing. I got some chilli oil after asking for it and then it was more edible, but I definitely will not go for this one again. Maybe I was just unlucky and a burger would have been a better choice. The service was ok, but compared to what I am used to so far in Lisbon, the people seemed like they did not want me to be there.

We got the Bbq cheese v’acon and the hot dog. Both were pretty good and we had good service as well. It was nice having vegan restaurant here as vegetarian options in Lisbon are pretty limited.

The atmosphere is really nice but the food looked better than it tastes. The service told us that we have to wait a little bit for food but we would therefore get some bread - we don’t get any bread in the end. We had to wait more than a hour to get our food and after that the French fries were cold.

This is a Portuguese restaurant that is part of the hotel by the same name. It is a quaint place that serves good seafood and many other local favorites. Overall, the food is tasty and good. We had a good experience here.

We had an amazing dinner at Delfina. This place is very peaceful and elegant. You will experience the top notch service and food. We ordered some appetizers and soups for starters. For main course we had cod fish fillet, Chefs special, duck and rice, fried fish and rice with tomato. AMAZING!! Our server, Andre, was very professional and gave us wonderful recomendations. If you r loking for a special dinner , this is the place you must see.

We were a large group and had made reservations up front. They made our dinner very enjoyable and were flexible enough to make some minor last minute changes. The food was very good. All in all we had a very nice experience here

Great restaurant, we had our Christmas eve dinner here, a special 4 courses dish for 80€. The dishes were great, presentation was on point and taste was excellent. I enjoyed the dessert the most, a lot of interesting flavors combined together. Would definitely return to taste their a la carte menu.

A last minute find, friendly staff and tasty food. Yes a bit of wait for food as others have mentioned, but was a nice change from the other very touristy options in Lisbon. A very clean and well kept venue.

Great little place! The wait staff is very attentive. The food is yummy, and the vibe is cool. The only downside of this restaurant is the OWNER. She is constantly berating her employees in front of the customers. She is stressed out the books and walks around the tiny restaurant like a category 5 hurricane. SHE makes the place very stressed and very uncomfortable. I asked the staff member who spoke English several questions about her, and I said that the OWNER made me feel very uncomfortable. The staff member said I was NOT the first one to say this to them. IF you still want to go to this restaurant and enjoy a relaxed time, may I suggest sitting outside or finding out if the OWNER has specific days that she does NOT come in to the restaurant. Then go on those days and you will love your visit!

I'm vegan + Medical Medium + gluten-free and mostly fat-free. My way of eating can be hard to maintain while travelling, but this lovely vegan pearl of a restaurant made it a feats💚 My Mother's Daughters is small vegan cafe, quiet street spot in the sun - we really felt we arrived at Lisbon. Many gluten-free options. I had a v-burger (comes without a bun). It had a great taste, very meaty taste. Texture great but a bit soft if you're looking for meat replacement. € 15 My husband had vegan burrata with toasted sourdough bread € 5, also available gluten-free crackers + € 1. I've never had real burrata, but my husband said it was very similar in taste and texture. We both had juice of the day € 4. Water was free. I had to try the banana bread since it was made with Madeira bananas (I've visited Madeira). The banana bread had a light “spongy” texture and yummy taste of banana, cinnamon and a hint of other cookie spices. € 4. But it was too much after the burger, and I only finished half of it, and asked for the rest to go - which was wrapped and tightened up to a small package with a blue ribbon. My Mother's Daughters is a lovely vegan restaurant with good food made from scratch and with several gluten-free options on the menu. I can highly recommend this place.

Very cozy cafe with a great location. found it on a sunny hot day, the tables were in the shade, and they also serve a carafe of cold water - and that's great! Very tasty banana bread, definitely mark this place for myself to come back again later.

Exceeded expectations 🙌🏼 Neither of us are vegan but wanted to give it a go because of the lovely atmosphere & setting. By the time we left the food was the best performer - all our meals were delicious delivering in flavour and creativity. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and totally recommend.

Very cute little spot, beautiful interior, with nice attention to detail on everything from plates to decor. Food was good, but definitely smaller portions, and maybe trying slightly too hard to be something a bit more upscale - needs to strike a balance between portion size/substance. But my dish was delicious, fresh, and the smoothie was very good too. Would come back!

Probably my favourite place in Lisbon. Lovely quiet location, with excellent quality food and drink. I recommend the black chia porridge - the homemade peanut butter is by far the best I've ever tasted. Excellent coffee as well which isn't always the case in the city. Smoothies are really good too. Great staff.

They serve a very affordable all you can eat buffet lunch for €7.50. I tried a bit of everything and repeated a bit of everything as well, so picking favourites was impossible. I try my best below. Overall, Lisbon Vegan is a great option for a quick meal. The value for money is really high, and at that price there are very few faults you can point out. I stepped inside seeking a wholesome midday meal, and though 'vegan' does not always promise health, the experience proved delightful, the service touched with kindness, and the balance of price to worth truly remarkable. For a mere 8.50 euros, a humble yet boundless buffet unfolded --with varied vegetables, rices, a warming soup, meatless dishes, and crisp crudités. For an extra 2.50 euros, I savored a juice of three parts—beetroot, orange, and ginger—its flavors mingling in a dance of perfect harmony. I shall, without question, return during my sojourn in the Anjos quarter.

Lisbon Vegan Resturante was so lovely. The food was simple and the flavours amazing. Wonderful service. Probably one of our favourites in Portugal.

The food is fantastic. The portions are large. You get soup, salad, and main course. The atmosphere is very relaxing and nice. The staff is polite. The food is also very healthy; a rare find in restaurants. This place really is the goat.

I had high hopes for Magnolia, but unfortunately it just didn't hit. They've priced themselves into the higher end of places in the area but don't really deliver in that price point. The food was simple and okay. Nothing out of the ordinary and nothing I'd want to try again. But the worst part is how crammed and uncomfortable the outdoor seating area is. I just felt like I was in the way for people. The tables are placed so close together that you literally can't sit comfortable. There's definitely room for improvement here.

It is 5* all day long We had a 19:30 reservation on a Friday night in November and the atmosphere was just lovely bubbling away from the moment we arrived until rolled out, full and content after the most delightful food experience Three dishes and a glass of wine each. €60 which for quality of food is exceptional. The burrata and green pesto with bread was delicious, followed by the cashew paste with Tomatoes - didn’t know what to expect but this was like a second creamy delight. The muscles - generous in garlic and there was a fight to mop up that sauce. 5/5 for food, service and atmosphere

Such a cute, aesthetic bistro !! The decor is super cute and the staff is very attentive. The food was great and super fresh - I recommend the French toast, it was so good… I don’t know how they made it so fluffy !! Def make a reservation if possible to ensure a table as it is quite small !!

Beautiful place, lovely staff, and great wine selection, but unfortunately the food was a BIG disappointment. The chicken came out undercooked, and while the replacement was cooked through, it was completely dry. I’ve never sent food back to the kitchen before, but this time I had to. The salad had no flavor at all, and every dish we tried was poorly seasoned and surprisingly small in portion. The mussels tasted strongly of burnt garlic and were basically inedible, but we didn’t want to send anything back again. It’s a shame, because the service was genuinely kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is really nice. The place came highly recommended by many people, but it just doesn’t live up to the hype. For the price, the food quality simply doesn’t hold up. We really wanted to love it, but left genuinely disappointed.

Brilliantly tasty food with a very precise variety of meals. The vibe was so fun and cozy, and the service was amazing! We had a romantic night out and loved every minute of it. Make sure you reserve a table in advance because waiting time can be long due to high demand. Definitely coming back.

3.5* would be the actual rating to be honest. The food is nice, but won’t blow your mind, the space is very limited, so you get very tiny plates on tiny tables, quite close to other tables, so it gets a bit loud and hard to talk. The waiter’s recommendations were very general and the service seemed a bit “fake”, although polite. All in all, a nice place which given the price to quality ratio, I don’t see myself going to again.

This is one of those places you feel grateful they exist. A place where you can get recently made bread, a good cup of coffee and a relaxed setup.

Baked goods seems really solid here. We got the cardamom bun and another little pastry thing that were both incredible. Staff was lovely and accommodating. Originally came here based on a recommendation to get a “choux craquelin” but they didn’t have them (I think they’re seasonal) but it didn’t matter because what we got was delicious. Highly recommend!

I had high expectations and was unfortunately a little disappointed. The vibe in the store was not so good, I felt quite uncomfortable. The pistachio croissant tasted like a strange mixture of far too much fat and sugar, but the cinnamon and cardamom knots were really very good. The prices are perfectly fine!

Honestly, been loving ISCO for years, pastry wise indeed no comments, but a huge comment on coffee which I must say is not good, many times ordered cappuccino and either getting just coffee with milk which basically it or it’s so bitter and burnt that I was not even able to finish it😅 I mean, for the price it costs I hope you can improve and really put someone that knows how to make coffee. Tried this new bakery last week and was amazed by the quality of its products. The breads are absolutely fantastic and I tried them both. The pain au chocolat is to die for. Also tried the croissant and some Swedish specialties which were pretty amazing. Will surely be going back regularly.

Impressive vegetarian buffet with loads of delicious vegan options; I'll definitely return here! They have a smart reward card system too, where you get a free buffet meal and dessert after 20 visits. Good value for money and friendly and helpful staff.

A poor choice on my part for dinner. Buffet was very very simple, and basics like potatoes were under cooked / unevenly cooked. It seemed more like a cheap hotel buffet where everything was made as cheaply as possible. The bill, on the other hand, was definitely not cheap.

On a street with many restaurants, we almost couldn’t find this one. We are so glad we did! It is a small restaurant- a few tables inside, a few tables outside and most of the seating is in a horseshoe around the bar/food prep. It was fun to watch the meals being prepared. Most of the cooking was done back in the kitchen, but the finishing was all done up front. They were very efficient with the number of people working. The food was delicious. Even the things we weren’t sure about were even better than we imagined. It was a sentiment echoed by our neighbors, too. The service was good, if a little slow, and it was hard to catch anyone’s eye to get the check.

The food is a modern twist of tapas with fresh ingredients. If you have already tried the traditional way, this could be your alternative while not feeling repetitive. Wine is good and the service is as expected. It's a place worth coming back.

A wonderful place with absolutely delicious food! We haven’t eaten this well in a long time and we definitely recommend stopping by! The garlic shrimp were incredible, the cod Bràs was mouthwatering, and the baby octopus with a cloud of potatoes and coriander oil — simply unforgettable!

Food is 4 stars for the garlic shrimp, otherwise 3 Their sauce is unique, creamy from garlic cooked in milk, plus the raw garlic was good too. Finally a place with decently cooked tiger prawns, it wasn't overcooked. The prawns were fresh, head wasn't fishy or bitter at all. Overall the dish worked very well, it's a well executed spin with a good balance of shrimp flavour, garlic and creaminess Octopus was a little too burnt at some parts, so much so that it was bitter. Quite tender. Coriander oil was too heavy, they didn't use the right kind of oil as the base. The cabbage that came w it tasted V average Overall interesting place that puts a spin on traditional dishes, but execution has hits and misses

First night in Lisbon an we found this gem! If you are looking for good food and not o fancy not expensive then this is your place. The steak sandwich and cabbage was our favorite next to the desserts. Absolutely fabulous experience. They have excellent timing on food serving too which I always appreciate.

A nice vivid bloc between Cais de Sodre station and food market, and the slope up to Chiado. Baixa corner found its fine easy going dining place with Corrupio team. Hidden kitchen but finishing each plate behing the bar, modest and tasteful chef is there with his team. Sommelier is able to fin you any region of Portugal simple and suite le wine, bio included. Each course is worth, extravagant déserts included. Salt and carbonhydrate restrictions should be mentionned by the guests as much as allergies, and kitchen is adaptative ! Worth the walk, a lot of bars around for before and afters !

My husband and I loved everything about this place. We came here at the beginning of our vacation and could not stop talking about the amazing food for the remainder of our time in Portugal. We had to stop by again a second time to enjoy the croaker rice and the mini steak sandwich. Everything was delicious! The staff worked as a cohesive team, service was excellent. Tucked in a vibrant authentic street of the Santos neighborhood, this wine bar not only delights your taste with best chosen wines from all around the world, but also provides the most carefully created dishes to pair with them. Every plate is a piece of art - not craving too much to be fancy, however delivering an explosion of perfectly combined flavors and textures. Service was also wonderful - had dinner on my own here but felt very welcome and left with a warm feeling. Will definitely come back for more.

Overall, the experience was good but fell short of expectations, especially given the price point. We ordered the Beef Tartare, Pork Cheek Croquettes, Yellowtail with habanero and saltbush, a Tomahawk steak, and finished with the Chocolate Cake with olive oil. The Beef Tartare and Pork Cheek Croquettes were excellent, full of flavor and very well prepared. The Yellowtail, however, was disappointing, the marinade didn’t integrate with the fish, leaving the dish lacking in flavor unless you deliberately soaked each bite. The Tomahawk steak itself was very good, but the wait time between starters and the meat was over 40 minutes, which disrupted the flow of the meal and ultimately left us unable to finish the dish. Dessert was enjoyable and nicely executed. The wine was good, complementing the food well. The main drawback was the value for money. The bill came to €231 for 3 people (about €77 per person), which felt significantly overpriced considering the overall experience. Parra Wine Bistro has potential, especially with some standout dishes, but service pacing and pricing need to be reconsidered to match the dining experience.

It was nice experience. Expensive - yes. Especially tomato salad - 10 EUR really nonsense price for just tomatoes, basil leaves and onion. The black pork - insane flavor, tender. Burrata was good but not as rich as on previous reviews. Was strange to see how sardines were touch with hands at another side of the counter (hope very clean and washed carefully). Chairs are very uncomfortable, the whole place is not tidy. Check your bill twice as we got extra wine and meal to pay :(((

We stopped into Comida Independente for a quick bite to eat. While the food menu is pretty limited, I’d highly recommend ordering the pastrami sandwich. The bread and meat were fantastic, along with the pickles and mustard topping. We ordered a few rounds of wine as well which were delicious.

Truly a lovely little wine bar/store. The people there are very nice and they have a great selection of wine, both to drink and to buy for later. We’ve already been a couple times during our short stay in Lisbon, and we plan to go once more to get some bottles for the road. If you like wine, especially natural wine, you’ve gotta check it out!

Exploring Lisbon on foot is the way to go, all these little alleys and backstreets, you don't know what you'll find. Trying to escape the 40°C heat we were hoping for a drink and some AC, and after dipping off the main street, found Comida Independente. Charming little deli / wine-shop / wine-bar that served food and drinks at exceptionally reasonable prices. We had the Burrata (not pictured) and I went for some local Orange wine. Top stuff. Service was friendly in this small space. Most who walk in aren't sure what to do - is it a shop? Is it a bar? Who knows. You do a lap and get the vibe, then take a seat. I left with some 100ml hand-luggage friendly hot sauces, and a spring in my step to embrace the cooler end of the day. Excellent spot.

Super cute corner to enjoy a glass of wine with some nice food pairing! The pastrami sandwich is an experience that you shouldn’t miss! The glass options for wine is nice but they have a great wine collection for bottles. The charcutería is great and you can basically make a nice plate as a choice of yours!

Chorizo and pastrami sandwiches were outstanding, we also enjoyed burrata with super fresh tomatoes with amazing aroma. This was the only place we didn't have seafood in Portugal and we really liked it. The suggested orange wine was pleasant and interesting, though keep in mind they have fewer classical wine options.

I wish I could eat this pastrami sandwich again right now because it was that good. The burrata drowning in olive oil sprinkled in salt and pepper was also delicious. They had a great big table in the back perfect for a large group of friends to gather. Definitely stop by for some tasty bites and wine.
