The food is always delicious and there are so many options! It is the only self service restaurant per kilo that I found in Rotterdam and even Netherlands. It is my favorite one! They also have some soup options and a lot of delicious deserts.

My favorite place in Rotterdam 💚 the food is always fresh, organic and healthy! They have something for all means - breakfast, lunch, dinner - you name it. The coffee, deserts and vegan ice cream (!!!) are also so good. My favorite is the amazake granola, literally out of this world! The crowd is always polite, down-to-earth and diverse, with adults, young people, elderly and kids alike. I wish I could here every single day!

We visited this restaurant on Sunday at 10 AM for breakfast. The buffet is charged based on weight, and in the morning, the selection consists mostly of cold dishes, including a variety of salads, pancakes, omelets, chocolate mousse, and more. Additionally, they offer bread and soups. However, the morning service seemed somewhat unprepared. The food items were not labeled, making it difficult to identify each dish, and I would recommend improving this aspect. It also appeared that the staff could benefit from better training or additional support, as there were not enough personnel to efficiently manage all tasks. For instance, the cashier was handling multiple responsibilities, including processing payments and serving coffee. As a result, customers had to retrieve items like sugar or other necessities themselves, as the waitstaff were quite busy. That said, the black coffee was delicious, and the variety of food, including vegan ice creams, was impressive. With a few improvements in service and organization, this could be an even better dining experience.

I’ve heard great things about Spirit:) Highly recommended with so many vegetarian and vegan options. It’s definitely a great place for easy, healthy and good meals. I wish we have more places like that around the UK.

Decided to have dinner at spirit after not visiting for a few years and boy did they deliver. Came back for a second time in 4 days. Food is super flavorful and there is a big variety. Highly reccomend the curry and tempeh in pindasaus 🤤

I’m never going back. They weigh your plate like it’s made of gold, not just used to serve food. The meal ends up ridiculously overpriced, and the bill is insane — €24.50 for food that’s nothing special. Explanation? None. Respect for the guest? Even less. All you’re left with is anger.

This is a spot where you come just for the atmosphere. The place is warm and cozy, and is on a more expensive side. For me the price didn’t match the quality, and I got a visual pleasure but not a gastronomic one. Matcha wasn’t good (you can see from the color), and food was simply okay, but again not for the price indicated.

Wonderful attention to detail with a lovely variety of food choices. I was especially impressed by the vegetarian and vegan options (yes, they genuinely cater for both!). It is on the pricier side, but the freshness and incredible flavors made it well worth it.

I’ve had lunch here twice for business meetings, and both times were a bit disappointing. Still, I decided to give it one more shot for dinner but that didn’t really change my mind. The service is slow and there were quite a few mistakes. The food is okay, not bad at all, just nothing special. Prices are fair and the location is nice, but definitely don’t come here if you’re in a rush

The flavours are excellent and for such a big group we were served really quickly. I like how they cater to the different dietary preferences with ease. I would have loved a bit more explanation on how much food this was going to be as it was a lot. Even when we thought we were finished, it was just a whole lot more on the way. Can recommend going here for a really good spot of lunch.

Came to Bertmans on the high recommendation and praise of Jess from Hilton,Rotterdam. Met Adrian, lovely girl and brilliant recommendations. If I could wax love for a humble glass of Orange, don't think I am mad. We eat chillas or pudlas at home and it's a staple for Gujjus everywhere and imagine eating a dish called SOCCA to only find it's our humble pudlas or chillas!! Cold coffee with phenomenal coffee from Giraffe Coffee just the perfect way to end breakfast. For everyone who is vegetarian or vegan and searching for food , come here. I know my sister's vegetarian soul would be satisfied, so that's that. Thank you Jess and Adrian - memorable meal.

Popped into Bertmans today for Sunday brunch before going to a show. What a great experience, lovely decor, table by the window and an eclectic menu that makes it difficult to choose! So take the brunch platter and enjoy a taste of breakfast delicacies from around the world. Or be like my wife and opt for the smoked salmon on toast. Either way you can't go wrong!

Perfect Sunday breakfast on a rainy morning. Customised my pancakes with cheese, sunny side up, fried mushrooms and bacon. Flushed down with a good soy latte. Great service and easy to order on QR code. Love the music choices too. ♥️

I've eaten in and ordered home a few times from here. The drinks i've had as of now are good and I'd give them a solid 4/5. The service is friendly but is not yet at a strong 4/5. The food itself compared to the price and what's available out there at a similar price level is average and at best maybe a little above average a fair 3.5/5. The dessert was not at room temperature when served and felt like it was just taken out of the refrigerator and was very difficult to portion and slice - 2/5 It would be a nice experience if this was the only game in town or priced ten to 20 percent lower. Overall id give them a 3.5/5.

I come here every few weeks. Their sandwiches are amazing. I have tried about 3 of the sandwiches and I highly recommend the jerk chicken one. The salmon is a bit boring - would be nice with a lime on the side or something. Pancakes are fluffy and you get what you paid for. The atmosphere is great too. Music on point and nice employees!

This cafe specialises in both sweet and savoury pancakes. They also have a variety of toasts available along with eggs on demand. We ordered the sweet pancake with fruit and caramel and a savoury pancake with chicken and mango. They have a ton of seating indoors and outdoors. Would recommend booking a place on the weekends. They also have a few board games that you can play while you wait for the food. Would recommend this place if you’re on this side of the city.

Very cozy and homey feeling here. Food is great and good service. It's not too lively the few times I've been but that's okay by me. Love the vegan options to chooses from. Definitely going back until I've tried them all😅

Absolutely loved the food and the vibes of this amazing place. The Falafel bowl was so delicious and so was the Kasmiri chai. I will definitely come back here!! 😄 Edit: Came back again and tried Hummus-Aubergine, what a delicious dish! All I can say is Mecca Oasis is one of my all time favorite places to eat.

The dish is extremely well-balanced! We also tried the Pita Sabich, and wow—it’s love at first bite! This sandwich is a masterpiece, with sourdough pita filled with yogurt-tahini, fried eggplant, boiled egg, pickles, fresh salad, amba, and zhoug. The flavors are bold and perfectly balanced, with creamy tahini, smoky eggplant, tangy pickles, and a spicy kick from the zhoug. It's so delicious, one of my favorite sandwiches! Their Labneh & Eggs, with two fried eggs, creamy labneh, spiced butter, zaatar, pomegranate, sumac, and sourdough pita was also a standout. The labneh was fresh and creamy, perfectly balancing the rich butter and tangy pomegranate. As for drinks, we tried the Dirty Kashmiri Chai and the Sesame Matcha Latte. The Dirty Kashmiri Chai blends traditional Kashmiri chai with a shot of espresso, creating a rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced flavor. The chai’s rosy notes and the coffee’s depth make it unique and satisfying. The earthy matcha and nutty sesame of the Sesame Matcha Latte gave it a smooth, savory twist that stood out from regular matcha lattes, it's tastes unique. We also tried some of their sweet bakes goods. As a fan of madeleines, the Pistachio Madeleine was a delightful surprise. These petite, shell-shaped cakes had the perfect balance of soft texture and buttery richness, enhanced by the earthy nuttiness of pistachio. Each bite was light yet packed with flavor, making it impossible to eat just one. Next, we tried the White Babka, a regular on Mecca Oasis’s menu. Made with white chocolate, tahini, and pistachio, it was both indulgent and creative. The babka was soft and fluffy, with creamy white chocolate and nutty tahini blending perfectly, while the pistachios added a nice crunch. Watching the bakers work in the open kitchen made it even more special and inspired us to try baking one ourselves! At last, we tried the Tahini Brownie with chocolate, tahini, and halva. It was rich and fudgy, with tahini and halva adding a unique twist to the classic chocolate flavor. Not too sweet, the sesame notes gave it a subtle, savory touch that made it stand out. We’ve been to Mecca Oasis many times, and it’s always amazing. The food is consistently great, and the quality never changes. The service is friendly and welcoming, making it a place we love coming back to. Mecca Oasis is a standout in Rotterdam, offering great food, creative drinks, and a cozy atmosphere. Ordered a cappuccino, the art was nice on the milk, but the coffee was cold and the cappuccino was not what I used too. No taste of the coffee beans. The coffee also came without sugar and when asked they were surprised and I felt like I asked for gold. Never turn your back on a customer and treat him like I do not want you here, last time for me in this place.

This is a really lovely daytime cafe/restaurant. Food is absolutely delicious and tastes like home cooking, atmosphere is really friendly and cosy. Only downside on my visit is I told the waitress (3 times!) I am vegan and they fed me yogurt to which I am allergic… I only realised half way through and fortunately they apologised and made me a fresh plate. Also they don’t do decaf coffee which is a shame.

We were in a very beautiful place today. A warm, friendly and very pleasant place. Since we were in a hurry, we only preferred coffee and cookies. They all tasted very good. The people working at the place are very attentive. I will definitely be there to eat Salad next time. When you come to Rotterdam, you should definitely come to this beautiful place.

I got the kapsalon wrap and iced golden milk. The food is fresh and good, however, feels like something is missing a bit in the flavour. Still, it’s a nice option for some quick and easy plant-based food, and I like the options they have.

Food was not bad. I ordered extra sauce (paid for it!) but it was the same amount as the portion from my partner( standard sauce option). In my partner dish you forgot sweet potatoes... I was not happy when I found a hair down at the bottom of my dish...Obviously I did not finish eating it I doubt we order again.

Nice spot for a healthy meal, a lot of salades, Wraps and smoothies. Staff was slow, but that’s everywhere nowadays. But for a quik healthy bit with good vibes this is perfect .

Very nice place for a lunch break in the city. Their menu suggests a selection of mixed salads and there is also the option to make your combination out of all the ingredients available. It is a bit pricey, but the quantities are generous.

Baker & Moore is a conveniently located spot, perfect for a relaxed breakfast or brunch in the city. I particularly enjoyed their Red Slowjuice, which was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. The breakfast platter was another highlight, offering a variety of tasty options that made it a satisfying and enjoyable choice to start the day. My husband tried the Grilled Baker. While it wasn’t entirely to his taste, he still finished the dish, which speaks to its overall quality even if it wasn’t a personal favourite. The atmosphere here is very casual and can be very busy with young families with kids, but it is an easy place to settle in without feeling rushed. I also loved the abundance of greenery in their décor, which gave the space a fresh, welcoming, and vibrant feel. Overall, our visit was a very pleasant experience. Between the convenient location, refreshing drinks, and well-prepared breakfast options, I would happily return on a future trip to the city.

This is a great spot for brunch! The coffee is good and there are alternative milk options. The food is good too but quite expensive. They have a good selection of sandwiches, but only a limited selection of vegan meals. They offer discounts for guests of surrounding hotels, which is greatly appreciated.

Lovely little breakfast place in the city of Rotterdam - ordered the breakfast platter both times I was there which was delicious and was served to me pretty quickly too. You also get a small discount if you stay at the easyHotel further up the road.

The service was quite slow—we had to wait a long time to order and ended up placing our second order at the checkout. I ordered the "Create Yourself" option and requested it as a toastie, but what I received was just a sandwich—ingredients placed on bread, not a proper toastie. The taste was good but nothing special. The coffee was slightly cold when served, and we had to wait again for a long time, possibly due to the busy Saturday morning. The high chairs we sat on were uncomfortable, with no hanger underneath for coats or bags. It’s worth trying, but don’t expect too much.

Security is shit, he thinks like he’s a king, he has a light for documents like the police but he’s only citizen trying to survive. Dress code is shit, you can’t even wear a cap. Shit pub with 2 feet dance floor. I do not recommend if you’re willing to have a good evening

We had a very negative experience at this club. The bouncers were extremely aggressive — they kicked us out simply for placing our jackets on a table and even pushed one of our friends in the back. One staff member (black bouncer lady) in particular shouted at us very rudely, using profanity (“these are our rules, get out”). The situation escalated to the point where we had to file a police report. I do not recommend this club — their staff’s behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Was a sunny day with my family and i joined my wife and child for a drink. When i arrived there was no menu on the table so i ask the waitress (female) and she said there one on your table and i said no there is not. Then she told me i could go find and take one from another table. I found that was rude. As the next waiter (male) i ask him and kindly helped me and even went to find me a menu as he noticed i did not have one. So i thank him for his help and kindness but due the first lady waitress i give this place 1 star as her rudeness and attitude was not correct for paying clients. We only had drinks on this sunny day.

We had a lovely time — the service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance was really pleasant. Unfortunately, a few hours after our visit on Friday (we had some fried finger food), both of us experienced a very sudden and intense indigestion. It left us quite unwell for the rest of the night. We’re sharing this not out of blame, but in case it helps the team investigate any potential issue in the kitchen. We genuinely appreciated the experience otherwise and hope this was just an isolated incident.

Extremely overpriced for what you get. I ordered the Korean chicken sandwich which was 12,5€ and I would say it was mediocre at best. I also asked the waitress for no mayo to which she told me that wasn’t possible because the sandwich was already made. My friend who got the avocado toast was also told this when she asked for something taken off. However once our food arrived it was clear it could have very easily been omitted. I’m not sure whether this was just our waitress being rude or an odd restaurant policy, either way, didn’t add to the experience. There are so many other very similar restaurants in the area, find one with better prices or at least food worthy of the price.

Went yesterday for a farewell of a friend of mine. The place is nice, beautiful and well decorated. Although in the end the place got really crowded, the service was still ok. We only have beers, so I cannot judge the food (the price is aligned with Wit's). The thing that really bothered me was the volume of the music. I mean, I understand that is a kind of a night club later, but later. When is 7 pm and people just wanna talk, you don't set the volume that high (and say it is a default volume). Would go back to enjoy the night club and see how it is, but for a regular beer and chat, if you go, don't sit inside.

The place is nice for a drink but DON’T EAT there at all !!! We asked for the eggs Benedict and a vegan taco. It took ages and the plates were cold… The egg were not even cooked correctly, it’s a shame.

We had a great time at this restaurant. The food was really tasty—we tried a variety of tapas, and each dish was full of flavor and well-prepared. The drinks were also very good; I had a fresh lemonade that was especially refreshing. However, the bathroom was a different story. It wasn’t very clean and had a rather strange setup—I’ve honestly never seen a bathroom quite like it before. It felt a bit out of place compared to the quality of the food and drinks. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable.

Great ambiance inside the restaurant. Especially liked the soft music and the flowers coming down from the ceiling. The food was exceptional. Loved the black aioli sauce that comes with the calamari. The staff is also very friendly and explain each dish that comes to the table. Definitely worth the slightly higher pricing.

We were there to celebrate my birthday/anniversary. It's a highly recommended place, and I'd happily rate it 5 stars. The decor is like something out of a fairytale. What a very cute place, full of decorations with a pink and unicorn theme. The service was amazing, just like the food. Thanks to the great recommendations I had the beef sliders in burgers, a burrata salad and the homemade lemonade with cherry, coconut and pineapple. The concept is food sharing so the dishes can be small and on the pricier side.

1. The decor of this place is amazing. It's tropical, it's colorful and the Neos signs give it a very vibrant vibe. 2. The staff are very friendly and patient. 3. The food is also quite good. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower wings and salad vegan kip. They were both very good and I would highly recommend it. 4. Their desserts are also very good. We got the cheesecake. It comes with a scoop of ice cream and some cut fruits. Overall it was very good. 5. If you're celebrating a special occasion they bring the desert with fireworks to make it a little more special. Overall a good place. Nice ambiance and people. I would recommend it.

I took my fiancée for our anniversary. The service and atmosphere of the restaurant were fantastic. The food was very good, I recommend the ribs. The only thing that could be improved is the pumpkin soup, which was too spicy and lacked flavor. I recommend this place to everyone.

The food is amazing here, recommend to visit with a small group as will allow to taste a lat of different dishes and to get a nice table in the restaurant. The decor of the place is impressive, depends on taste, but keeps you at least looking around for a while to see how they designed the place. All well thought through and really catches your eye. Staff is friendly and efficient in their service. With a little bit more attention from the service, it would be definitely a 10+ experience. One to bookmark for a regular visit during nice occasions.

Local products, with bold and earthy flavours. We actually went for a pastry only, based on a recommendation that we received, but ended up trying the full experience to be able to review it properly. And let me split this review in two sections: Section One - Pastries and coffee: We had the vegan brownie and the vanilla cruffin with a flat white. This combination was excellent! The pastries were freshly baked and honestly some of the best pastries I’ve had in Rotterdam. If you’re in the mood for something sweet that will blow your mind, I highly recommend their coffee and pastries. Section Two - Food and atmosphere: We were there @ 12h30 so I don’t want to judge the atmosphere too much, as it was super packed and noisy as hell, but can imagine that when it’s not rush hour, you’ll have a relaxed vibe enjoying a stunning seat outside with a view of the canal. The food itself was good, fresh and earthy flavours, and you feel “healthy” after finishing your meal. They source their products locally which makes this experience that much more special. You can see the chefs prepare the food and how two chefs run a full house like they do, is amazing! My only problem is their menu is a little bit too simple and not a lot of options unless you “build it yourself”. So, to round it off. If you want coffee and pastries I would 100% recommend this spot as your number one option to consider. If you’re looking for a breakfast/ lunch, and prepared for a very specific type of flavour profile / limited options, then this is a solid option too.

Well worth the wait!! The coffee was delicious and the pastries were even better! I wish we had more time to sit and have a meal.. guess that just means we’ll have to take a trip back. The atmosphere is cute and the staff was friendly and helpful. The takeaway line goes pretty quickly, which was nice. We sat on the backside of the restaurant for a few minutes to do a taste test of all our pastries. Would recommend this for sure and would go back again!

(Review after 3 visits, all really good experience) This place has easily become one of my top spots whenever I’m in Rotterdam. It’s lively yet cozy, and sitting by the water is such a charming and relaxing experience. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The true highlights here are the pastries. From their perfect flan to the lemon & blueberry Danish, the Canelé, everything I’ve tried has been beautifully made and absolutely delicious. Honestly, their pastries are among the best I’ve had in the Netherlands. The coffee is good (from what friends tell me), but I personally don’t drink coffee - and that’s where I’d love to see a bit more variety on the drink menu. Totally my personal issue, though, so it doesn’t affect my rating at all. As for the brunch: it’s good, but not the main reason I come here. The sourdough bread they serve is amazing (honestly could eat it on its own), but the cooking itself is fairly standard. Still enjoyable, just not as special as their pastries. It can get pretty busy, especially around lunch, so coming early is a good idea if you want a quieter experience. But even when it’s packed, the atmosphere and view make it more than worth it.

Maybe a little too efficient—don’t expect much chit-chat. But if you’re not after banter and just want things done right and quickly, it works. I’ve visited Harvest Café twice this visit to Rotterdam and in my opinion it’s the BEST in town (or at least among the top 3). Since I know it from previous visits I know you should arrive early especially during the weekend, so at 9:00 I was already there. Service is great, sitting “on” the water is perfect and the pastry are AMAZING. I had the danish with lemon and blueberries which was the best, second was the Canele and the strawberry pastry was good but less tasty (too sweet for me). I also had the egg Benedict which was really great and the bread it was served with was DELICIOUS. All in all for me it’s the best place in the city.

This is a great breakfast place on the dock where you can sit outside and take in the view. I had one of their daily espresso’s as a cappuccino and the French toast which was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended. The staff were really polite, friendly and accommodating. We came on a Friday morning and wasn’t too busy so got a table straight Wish I was hungrier to try more things here but my friend has tried their pastries (they bake on site) and recommends it Worth a visit if you’re here for the weekend. We went back on Sunday around 12noon and there was a long queue to eat in but got a pain au chocolate and Lemon croffin to go which were good

As a Rotterdam tour guide I was happily surprised by this all-vegan lunchroom in the city center. The food was pretty good, fairly priced and that staff was kind as well. Though, I am strongly against the trend where the menus are English only (so not in native Dutch). My nephews needed translation help, while they're in their home city. Which is ridiculous in my opinion..

Came here for breakfast but didn’t realise it was a vegan place. The options are good and the coffee is good. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable as well. The space is nicely decorated and quiet. A good spot to come to if you need a vegan place. There are a variety of options that can satisfy everyone’s preferences. Overall a good experience and would recommend.

This rustic looking restaurant serves very nice vegan vegetarian food. I loved their toast with avocado n carrot cake. Service was excellent. The waiteress was very attentive and prompt.

My girlfriend and I have both been vegan for multiple years and sadly didn't enjoy the food. Maybe it was too early for such flavors, but we both didn't like it. However, this is a cozy place with a nice atmosphere and really friendly and helpful staff.

I’ve been seeing Sue’s healthy, refined sugar-free and gluten-free sweet bites at many of the cafés I go to, and since I had tried and liked them a few times, I wanted to visit her own place in Rotterdam. This time, I went for the chocolate banana bread and a mango iced matcha latte. I think there are places in Rotterdam that do a better iced mango matcha and banana bread — both were pretty average. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The bites looked really delicious in the display, and you can also grab them as take-away. I didn’t leave 100% satisfied with the flavors, but I’d still like to come back and give it another try.

I loved it, great quality products, desserts are not too sweet. Everything seems very healthy with a great sensation of flavours. You'll see me here more often! The only minus is that I sat in a corner, maybe they didn't see me much, so took long for people to come to me, take my orders and dirty plates etc

Not only did the American pancakes and Dubai toast look amazing, they were also very delicious! The cappuccino was perfect and came with several little sweets. Great experience at this place

Looks very trendy, you can sit inside or on the small terrace. Inside you can choose to sit upstairs, which is quite spacious, but lots of flies so pretty annoying. The young staff is friendly and attentive. The food is unfortunately not so good. The pancakes didn’t taste like pancakes, but more like a combination of thick bread and crumble cakes. It didn’t taste awful, but definitely not tasty. It only looks good on pictures.

Great breakfast/lunch place! Waitresses are super friendly, despite how busy it was, service was very quick. Food itself is great, we both took some eggs and shared a pancake stack, which was the perfect amount and a really good combo of savoury and sweet. Coming back for sure, to try some more of these divine dishes!

One of my favourite breakfast experiences. Their inventive pancakes and their very nice drinks that come with a small taste of their famous bars are delicious. Portions are generous and the staff friendly and efficient, surely a place to try, multiple times to have the chance to taste all the items in their menu.

Loved the red velvet pancakes, to die for! Also lovely bars with delicious flavours, cappuccino with vegan milk option is delightful. They also have a range of vegan treats, and special boxes for Ramadan with dates. The staff is friendly and the space is cozy. Only advice, could do a bit better on decor.

Like the outdoor/indoor space they have. The view of the canal is very nice. The staff are also nice and patient explaining everything. We went for the breakfast menu which is very decent priced for the things you get. The avocado toast is very delicious. The croissant was buttery and crunchy and their jam was also nice. You can also order the coffee of your choice with a juice. Definitely recommend.

To be honest this is the 3rd time I come here, I am never disappointed. I have tested 5 different varieties of dishes, a little crush for the pancakes but also for the salty part. Very nice presentation but above all super tasty. Every time I pass in Rotterdam it has become an essential spot.

The food is amazing, we took the brunch platter and the brunch breakfast so yummy. Our host Nienke was super friendly and her smile like she serves you with love. The surround of the place by the canal and the outdoor seatings is another level. Very peaceful and lovely place to be.

I really enjoyed this place. The location right across the channel is nice and the stuff is friendly and professionals. There is the possibility to sit both inside and outside and the menu offers different choices. What captured me was the breakfast deal available until 10.30 that, for 5 euros, gets you fresh orange juice, americano or thee, a jam croissant and an avocado toast. The brioche was really delicious and fresh, the coffe and orange juice were also very delicious. I reccomand to try this place at least once!

The place has a nice vibe and the interior is quite stylish. The menu offers a good variety, but the food was just okay – not bad, but nothing special either. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Overall, it was an average experience. Not sure I’d go out of my way to come back, but it’s fine for a casual visit.

Loved it! The breakfast deal was only 10€ and included sourdough bread with avocado and poached egg, a homemade croissant with jam, an americano, and a mimosa. Everything was delicious. On top of that, the view was amazing 🥰 will definitely come back!

Nice location, staff was friendly but misunderstood first the order, in the Egg Norwegian the fish had not much added value and taste.

We ordered Crispy Chicken Burger and Egg Benedict with Ham & Cheese, alongside with a matcha latte & crème brûlée cappuccino. In general we would say it was not a good experience. It was 2 pm and not busy at all, only 3-4 tables outside including us and 1 table inside and we saw 3 workers. However, we had to wait 30-40 minutes for the food. For the Egg Benedict with ham and cheese, everything on the plate was cold. We told the waitress that the food was cold, and she just took the dish away without saying anything. Another waitress came back with another plate, the food was still cold but we just ate it anyways because we didn't want to cause any more troubles. The poached egg was overcooked, the bacon was soft and not crispy at all like the waitress told us, cheese was hard. Maybe it was just our preference but we expected the cheese should have been at least melted a bit, not cold and hard like that. For the Crispy Chicken Burger, you could tell everything was store-bought stuff just by the look and it also tasted so but it was not that bad except for the cheese. Overall we think it was a bad experience because the service was pretty rude when we told them about the food which was cold. We even tried to reach out to another waitress that was walking by, that we didn't want the Egg Benedict anymore, but she showed such a rude attitude and in the end the Egg Benedict was brought to us, so we just ate it and didn't want to cause any more discomfort for them. We wouldn't say we wouldn't recommend this place, but we expected our experience should not have been that bad and we hope the restaurant should take our feedbacks into account, especially for the service.

What was expected to be a relaxed Sunday brunch turned out to be pure dissatisfaction. Slow and uncaring service - 20 mins to get a beer and cappuccino- dirty glasses, asked for new got another. Cappuccino cold - asked for water took another 10 mins, plenty of staff just a total lack of effort Food ok that’s about as good as it got. Went to toilet to find used tampon, they can’t control that but just was the tipping point. Having worked bars/restaurant for many years - I’d be ashamed to operate a potentially great business this way. Won’t return and would advise you not to try!

Food came out cold and the bacon seemed to be reheated. Had to go inside to get milk for tea which was ordered and was getting cold. Then had to wait for cutlery after the food came out. Food is very tasty but service let them down.

We were looking for a place in Rotterdam to have a proper breakfast, not just the classic croissant or brioche, but somewhere with a wide variety of options. This spot was exactly what we wanted: delicious pancakes with lots of different flavors, tasty toasts with scrambled eggs and avocado, protein smoothies, and many other rich breakfast choices. The pancakes were absolutely amazing, and we really enjoyed our breakfast here. The place itself is also very nice, both inside and outside. Definitely one of my favorite spots for breakfast in Rotterdam! 🤩 🥞

Don't go here. Would love to rate the food and atmosphere but we stood for 20 mins. All these tables were free all the time plus more inside. 3 staff and for those that were seated they just got coffee in that 20 min. We had to abandon and left a Q of about 10 who had no idea what was in store for them. We were told the tables were booked but there is no booking on the site nor signs on the tables. It's a staffing issue

Really love this place ! I've been there like 10 times already - food is delicious, served super quick, stuff is always polite. The way orders are taken and handled is fast and really straightforward. Ingredients are fresh and their smoothies so big! I honestly love it!

A fantastic place with plentiful vegan pancakes, sweet and savoury, as well as other options and can cater for gluten free. Ordering system for a large group was a bit of a faff though, as we couldn’t order individually at the counter but as a group through an app.

The best pancakes i ate in Rotterdam until now! The place is just behind the main square and the menu offers a great variety of choices between sweet and savory options. There is also the possibility to create your personalized pacakes! The stuff is professional and the service is fast. As for the most important part: the pacakes were incredible! We got the apple and cinnamon one, the straberrry cheesecake and the loaded one. Everything was delicious! Also the drinks are very good and there are a lot of options! I strongly reccomand this place and i cant wait to come back!

Nice place to grab a coffee, they have nice outdoor seating and you get a lot of sun. Staff is super friendly. I did try the chai latte last time and that wasn't up to par with my previous experience. But coffee is great.

very nice girrafe coffee and really kind workers would say perfect if you have a break. This store is located on a beautiful corner in Blijdorp neighborhood, where you can also sit in the sun. A menu full of health and surprising bowl dishes is added to that. I had latte machiato with coconut milk +banana bread where fried plaintin bananas are added. Really tasty reccomend it A+ 🧙🏽‍♂️ Edit: i dont know if they intentionally do it but its smells so friggin nice lol.

Excellente place, the food is great and the service is nice, in love with their coffee, and it’s hard to find good coffee in this part of Europe as I come back from Colombia! But really loved everything! It’s a great place to work also!

3,5 stars Was eager to try their Sushi Sandwich. They have 3 flavours on the menu (salmon, tuna & chicken). However, they did not serve them anymore. Had the warm Beef Rendang bowl instead. It was not my favourite poké bowl, but it was tasty. (I thought it had too much mayonnaise and spring onion, but that is a personal preference.)

Poké Perfect is an awesome place to get lunch in. It is a bit on a pricier side but all of the Poke places are quite expensive. I wish tho they added more protein as it felt a bit too little. The veggies are fresh and the sriracha mayo sauce was incredible. Would recommend for a lunch spot in Rotterdam!

I went here two times. First time the poke bowl was good but the service was terrible (slow, not focused) and the second time the service was good but the sushi toast was terrible (way too oily to eat). So I guess something just doesn’t go right with this place.

The ingredients are already fresh here. From the rice to salmon. The poke bowls are the best in Rotterdam here and enough seats to sit.

Visited The Perfect Poke Bowl and had a great experience overall. The food was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. The space outside is really nice, adding to the enjoyable ambiance. However, the service could have been friendlier I would still recommend it for the tasty poke bowls!

I just went there and the customer service was just bad. There was a guy working on his own and it was visible that he didn’t feel like working. At first i couldn’t pay at the kiosk, so i went to the guy to ask him for help. He seemed annoyed by it, but helped anyways. After that i told him two times to not put jalapeño’s or spicy sauce, because I’m allergic. After that when the food was ready he just handed it to me as if I didn’t pay for a bag. I simply asked him to give me a bag and he told me i could grab it myself instead of him doing it. It felt like i was self-serving instead of being served. When I started eating i couldn’t even take two bites because of my spice allergy.

Great option for lunch if you want to eat something tasty and healthy! I love that they often have new ingredients adapting to the season. The staff is also very friendly. Recommended!

What stood out even more than the food was the incredible service. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Their recommendations were spot on, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful dining experience. Overall, Hudson Kitchen and Bar exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return for another memorable meal! Highly recommended!

They aren't lying with their claim "best burger in town", honestly think that's just being modest, this is the best burger I've had in the Netherlands! Atmosphere, music, and workers all fit our liking very well. We will be back! Very friendly, great music playing, and food is fantastic. Service was excellent. Food was 'very good'. Rotterdam is a hyper competive market and there is a lot of choices to eat. The food presentation was very good. The portions were good for the price. The food was well prepared for the cost, but I would argue not amazing. The location itself is good, not great. I appreciated the patio heaters. Overall, it was good value for the money, but not standout.

Had a delicious dinner. Especially if you know that this is a company with multiple locations in the Netherlands. Lovely ambiance and great service. I also liked the vibe I’ve got from the waiters about the way they interacted with each other. At first I ordered steak but they were sold out. Normally that would bother me but again: I had a delicious dinner. Tried my husbands burger, also great. Fries? Great. Desert? Great. Beer? Great. So to be clear: go and eat here. 🙋🏻‍♀️

the best meal i’ve had in Rotterdam. we arrived quite late in the day - 9:40pm~ but the staff assured us we would be able to have food. had the korean crunchy chicken burger with fries and the others in my trio had the steak (can’t remember which cut) and everyone thoroughly enjoyed. the staff themselves were very kind and attentive and we ended up staying for drinks after which were also great.

Picture - and food far away.. My suggestion careful what you order. I can say that food was ok but not what was present and written. In the end mistake with our bill they give us less than they should be and staying inside hiding from us. So sorry for places like this cheating the tourist.

Came here on a whim. I had the Roffa hotdog and my wife had the Brisket burger and we shared a loaded fries. Delicious. So good that I came back the next day to have the Brisket burgers myself. Cool music, super friendly staff. Do yourself a favour and visit.

Had dinner here with my daughter. I had the brisket burger Andy daughter the pulled pork burger, plus we shared fries. Food was absolutely delicious!! Fantastic barbecue and high quality ingredients. Great little hole-in-the-wall and very reasonably priced. Would definitely eat here again next time I’m in town!

Cool street food pub close to the harbor of Rotterdam. Friendly and fast service, delicious meat dishes and local beers. Prices are quite high, but portions are good and tasty so it’s worth if you like meat and a bit of American feeling.

The entrance to the cafe was a little hard to find, but once you found it you were in a really idyllic cafe. The view of the skyline is beautiful. The cafe and rooftop terrace are urban chic and very inviting. I had an iced matcha latte with vanilla syrup and the “Triple Omega”. My extra requests were accepted in a friendly manner. In general, the service staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was really delicious. There could have been a few small improvements (for example, the egg yolk could have been more runny), but that's complaining on a high level. The prices are reasonable considering the location. The portions are a bit small, but it was perfect for me. I recommend everyone to have brunch there on a city trip to Rotterdam!

Nice food, place is very instagramable, nice decorations, outside terrace is small and warm when sunny. Garden is not accessible. All in all very cute, romantic, and good food. Lift is old and creepy. You have to climb the last stairs from the highest floor reached by the lift to get to the cafe. Small cafe but unique. Difficult to find though

excellent service and delicious brunch! highly recommend!! A beautiful way to enjoy the view of the city. We booked the brunch high tea, and normally I am a bit sceptical about the quality of these high teas but I couldn't find any fault with this one. Everything was delicious!

The rooftop garden is beautiful. The food is okay. The fries with parmesan and truffle mayonnaise are very strong in flavour. We asked an extra toast and it was not really good. The service is very bad. When we arrived, it was very disorganised. They asked for my name twice. The reception was not good. We had to get up to order because the waitress did not come to our table. We also had to go to pay the bill. I recommend it for the view, but only if you have a lot of time to wait.

Really lively buzzy place, we booked but had to wait for a table as it seems you can just rock up and sit at an empty table. Very busy when we arrived but calmed down quite quickly. We chose to sit outside as it was a nice evening but as non smokers that may have been an error when tables either side lit up when they had finished eating. Food was good but wasn’t hot, probably due to the poor service we received from our server. We mentioned when paying the bill and the manager/owner knocked 10% off as an apology which was decent of him. Menus available in several different languages which is good.

Quick service, friendly staff, and generous portions. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. The meat didn’t taste fresh or tender, and it arrived at our table surprisingly fast. The inside of the kebab was completely red, which was not pleasant at all.

The tea was nice, and the coffee was good. The sarma was okay…not bad, but missing a bit of flavor. I sat outdoors, and unfortunately, there was bird poop on the table, which wasn’t very pleasant. Overall, not that impressive in terms of food, but it does look like a nice place to sit and have a drink.

I ordered the Tavuk Sis Kebab – grilled chicken breast marinated in saffron and yogurt, served with rice, curry mayonnaise, haydari, Shiraz salad mix, and fries. Unfortunately, the chicken was overcooked and extremely dry, making it unpleasant to eat. Sitting outside was even worse: the smell of sewage was strong, and seagulls were constantly flying overhead and leaving droppings everywhere, which made the whole experience uncomfortable and unappetizing. The atmosphere felt unhygienic and far from enjoyable. I paid 25€ with soft drinks. The Coca-Cola was either not original, either with lots of water. Overall, it was a disappointing meal in an unpleasant setting. Definitely not a place I would recommend.

Great atmosphere, the place is enormous so there's almost always space to sit. We had breakfast and it was big in variety. I would not come back necessarily for breakfast because nothing was "outstanding" but I am sure we are gonna come back for the real food and re-assess. The only problem is that when is crowded.. is REALLY crowded. Bathrooms are very clean! Waitress was super kind.
