Food is wild. So delicious. Fresh oysters. Tuna tartare was also amazing. The staffs are so friendly. Definitely recommend this place many times over.

Great and fast service, excellent olive oil, food was amazing too. Portions were very generous and there was plenty of protein in the meals (tuna pasta for example, I was surprised with the amount of tuna with the meal). They’re serving Franz Arman wine which was excellent!

Tuna Tagliata and sea bream with truffles were absolutely delicious. The restaurant is rather on the pricey side, but the food was worth it. Better book a table in advance in order to sit outside, we were seated right next to the sea which was lovely 😊 I did not like the atmosphere inside/ in the winter garden but would come back for a nice dinner by the sea 😊

Food is the best we have tasted in rovinj! Eating in a glass house is a good experience that you can see the transparent view but with warm indoor temperatures. The local pasta tasted amazing, best sauce ever with olive oil. Beef is cooked very nice too. A getaway of noisy crowd.

Lovely restaurant and great view. Very quiet at the time of day but that made it even more pleasant. Staff lovely and welcoming. Good food and taste, wine on the high side but still tasty and fresh. Good suggestion from the Sunday times.

Absolutely brilliant. Tried their fish with truffle. Phew! What a flavor profile. Just out of the world. Presentation was so good. Cozy atmosphere. They have their own brand of wines these days. Do try their Malvasia White Wine. It's very refreshing.

Visited June 2025. Probably the best restaurant we ate at in the 10 days of our holiday. Superb selection of fish dishes which were all freshly cooked, the service from the chefs wife was exemplary, friendly both passionate and knowledgeable about the food and the local wine which she recommended. Many Croatians also eating in there which is always a good advert. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to any body who loves fish. Five stars from me.

Very nice restaurant, with pleasant staff. They were all frienldy and honest in recimendations. Fish was delicious and wine perfect. We can say the same for desert. It is family friendly but also romantic. The terrace is better than the inside of the restaurant. Bread that they serve with the dish is fantastic. Olive oil is also perfect.

Food was delicious. I don’t think I’d call this a hidden gem like some others do, but it was very tasty. Get the octopus!

Good food. Great food in fact. But it’s not enough of a cut above to justify the price. It is better than the restaurants in the docks, and the fish was superb, I may even write home about it, but if I did, I’d also mention that whilst the rest was good, it was not wildly amazing and I wouldn’t say “you must visit this place”

Shark burger was really good, and I don't generally like any sort of fish. On its own it made for a nice, fairly light meal. Probably only had to wait for about 5 minutes to get it, but I didn't go at a peak time.

We came to Tunaholic three times during our stay in Rovinj, and it was fantastic every time! The concept of serving fresh fish mainly as burgers is brilliant – the fish was super tasty, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The menu offers good variety, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is welcoming. If you’re in Rovinj and want a unique take on fresh fish, we can recommend this place!

Probably the best fishburger in town. Amazing food, burger, fish and chips or fish cone all are just delicious and the staff is so funny and friendly, make you feel welcome. Thank you so much for hosting us. One little side note, be aware it is cash only and don't forget to task the amazing IPA Beers they offer.

The food was absolutely incredible – every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The value for money is outstanding, truly exceeding expectations. This is already the second street-food restaurant from this chain that we’ve visited, and both have been nothing short of excellent. Highly recommended!

When I'm in Rovinj, Tunaholic is my favorite place to visit. 🤩 In high summer season it's rare to find a spot to sit because of the location but you can have takeaway and sit in the port nearby. I usually go for a salmon/tuna burger and they are always amazing. Employees work hard and are nice to customers. You won't regret eating there 👌

If you visit Rovinj, you absolutely must try this little spot! It’s is a great corner of the old town, can get quite busy so would recommend visiting during quieter periods (not at lunch/dinner) The fish was extremely fresh, the staff always kind and the food affordable and tasty. We were only there for coffee and ice cream - a break from the heat. But the location, comfy couches and live classical music was fabulous! I also recommend freshly squeezed apple juice. This place is ok - good food but the service isn’t friendly. We sat down just before a couple who sat next to us. The first question the waiter asked us and them was ‘are you guests of the hotel?’. He asked us twice and we said no both times. The other couple got lovely service, whereas ours was prickly and not particularly friendly. Their order was taken quickly and food arrived quickly. We were made to feel VERY second class and unwelcome, my partner was worried to use the toilets! I’d avoid. The food itself was good but nothing spectacular - the hollandaise on my eggs royale was far too lemony and lacked balance. My partner had a dish with local sausage, bacon, eggs etc and the ingredients were all good quality. The bread, croissants and condiments were all very nice.

Waited over 15 minutes for the waiter to take our order, while it was half empty. Then waited for another half an hour for a simple coffee. Shameful !! Customer service is -5, and the price is extremely high. Would not recommend to anyone. Every place in rovinj literally is a better pick

Five stars all the way. Impeccable service from Muamer, superb food skillfully presented , and Head Chef Mario really is a super Mario. The sauce for my lamb chops was out of this world.A real treasure of a find, superb location, superb food,superb service.

Poor's Chefs breakfast - we had omelette 🍳 and pancakes 🥞. While the taste was good, you can see from the photos that the food was missing the last 20% - no tomatoes with omelette, no rukola, nor anything else. The pancakes could also use more and degree fruit and a bit of decoration with sugar powder. The omelette was 11 euros and pancakes 10 euros. The bread was very tasty and fresh, though.

Had breakfast there and enjoyed the view outside and the Ambiente of the location. Good quality food/products served and fast reliable service. One of the few good breakfast choices in Rovinj.

The worst breakfast experience ever! Cannot tell the difference between scrambeled eggs and omlette. We had to wait 20 mins for the menu and another 20 for food :( which was also overcooked and overpriced.

Pros: Excellent atmosphere Cons: •Took 10 minutes to see a menu (on a Monday). •Marinated sardines were disappointingly flavorless. •Took over 40 minutes for our seafood pasta and gnocchi dishes to arrive. •Spaghetti was apparently "water" flavored, and lacked sauce or color •Service was nearly nonexistent. •ONLY ACCEPTS CASH, I had to leave to go to an ATM. •The best part was having to leave the table to go into the back kitchen, to wait in line to pay for our meal to unfriendly staff.

The waiter was very nice and tried his best but... - 1.5 hour waiting time. - The food was not served together. My girlfriend got her food 15 minutes before me. - Very expensive for the medium quality - Setting the table will be charged. I have absolutely no understanding for that. Rip off! Conclusion: The restaurant is not worth the money. The 2nd star is for the friendly waiter.

The place seems nice at first, but you are required to order food as they will not serve you only coffee "because it is a restaurant" even though the place was empty. The waiter was really nice and obviously it is not his fault but in my opinion it is ridiculous to force guests to order food and not allow them to just get drinks. On top of it all everything was overpriced. Wouldn't recommend and definitely will not be coming back.

First and foremost, this place only takes CASH. I thought the quality of the food and the price were just average in the area. Although other reviewers complained about bad service (“rude owner”), our waitress was just fine. For the food, service, and price, I give 3 stars (i.e., average). I decided to give them 4stars, probably 3.5 to be more accurate, because of the ambience. It’s a small restaurant with cute decor. I probably do not come back, but I don’t regret having come here.

We have been in this restaurant twice within a week. We were flashed by our first visit, everything was perfect. Good food, atmosphere and normal prices. The second time the visit was again very good but there were some small things to complain about. They did not bring the food at the same time (for me and my girlfriend). Furthermore we noticed that they charged us with 10kn each for place setting without any announcement. Beside this the food was awesome again as well as the service and the ambiente.

What a lovely place to go to for a dinner! We found it accidentally and I loved it so much. Dining amongst olive tress in nature. Peaceful and quiet when you feel overwhelmed with crowd in Rovinj 😊 A must for any nature lovers. Few vegetarian options including baked courgette stuffed with risotto and cauliflower steak. Highly recommended!

Excellent choice for vegetarians! We had grilled Cauliflower, filled Tomatoes, mashed potatoes with truffles, fried gnocchi, homemade bread and salad. 😅🤤😋 It was delicious. I hope to dine here soon again! Thank you Tipico Green Garden!

One of the best meals we had in Rovinj, hands down! The octopus salad was absolutely 10/10, so fresh and perfectly balanced. We also had the Buzara, which was incredibly flavorful and we left nothing on our plates! While I didn’t catch the name of our server, he was exceptionally attentive, and his recommendations were spot on so if he’s reading this a big thank you from Kristina and me. The entire team was warm, welcoming, and made us feel genuinely looked after from start to finish. Without a doubt, this was the best service we’ve experienced in the Rovinj area, and we’ll definitely be back. A true gem!

Fantastic experience. Beautiful ambience, in a peaceful garden, surrounded by olive trees, we had one of the best meals in Istria. The service was so professional, relaxing and warm, and the food…. All of the fish starters (tuna pate, tuna sashimi, tuna tartare and octopus) were splendid, and tuna steak was prepared to perfection. Served by the friendliest of waiters, while horses were peacefully having their dinner behind us.

We visited the restaurant a bit later in the evening, about an hour and a half before closing, with a prior reservation. Unfortunately, the staff, particularly the waitress, didn’t seem pleased with our arrival at that time — we felt as though we were somehow intruding. On the other hand, the food was truly fantastic, especially the seafood, which was fresh and excellently prepared. It’s a shame that the experience was somewhat affected by the attitude of the staff. While the food was of high quality, a friendlier approach would have certainly left a much better overall impression.

Viking is a hidden gem! This restaurant has a unique story behind it. We came all the way from Milan for a special dining experience, and we were blown away by the quality of seafood and fish. This place is truly one-of-a-kind and a must-visit!

A very average unremarkable Resturaunt . Let’s start with good points . The scampi was the best dish . The rest of the dishes pretty average . Waited toooo long for the main course the gratinated scallops were simply awful , too fishy and un marinated . The bread basket cold and bit old . I wouldn’t return to it despite being recommended by a an acquaintance . This place pales in comparison to its neighbour the Fijord . Not coming back at all

Great atmosphere, friendly and fun staff, fresh mussels, and generous portions.

Pljukanci with asparagus and prawns were tasty. Stuffed squids with ham&cheese in buzara sauce also tasted OK but the portion was for a child. The smallest squids I ever got on a plate. Staff ok. Left hungry so overall experience was somehow bitter.

Had a late lunch here with my wife. The food was delicious, though maybe a tad pricey. The owner was very friendly and helpful, he gave us some great recommendations regarding choosing the right wine for the food that we had. (The picture is of the shrimp that I had.)

This is a good one! Staff was polite and the food was just splendid! The owner brought us the fresh fish so we could choose which one we want. He also recommended the way of preparation etc. Of course, he served the fish himself in front of us. Very polite and funny guy! It was a great food experience with a nice view on the city and the port. It’s worth it! The pics are not the beat ones, it was already late and no good light. But it tastes 100x more than the pics look like. The fish is already without bones after serving.

Excellent food. Prices are slightly higher than I'd normally like but the quality is well worth the money. The service is the best I've had in my life - the server was not only helpful and friendly, but even approached us with suggestions to improve our dining experience. Highly recommended!

The food was tasty and freshly prepared. However, the price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right: for the high price, the portions are very small and the side dishes are quite limited. We would have expected more generosity here. Unfortunately, you don’t really get full. For this reason, we cannot recommend the restaurant and will not be coming back!

Few options in the low season, just walk in this restaurant. The food is great, the service is excellent. Nice people own nice restaurant, recommend the grill squid! Came back the second day for the grill squid.

This place was recommended to us by a local. We really enjoyed it! I got the beefsteak with truffle sauce and pasta, which was amazing, and my husband got the grill plate with fries. We were both satisfied with our meals! The portions were also very large and satisfying. I would recommend!

Located within a well hidden narrow street, this place is full of charm and tasty seafood. We had tuna steak, vegetables soup, seafood spaghetti and bread alo g with a litre of house wine. A very friendly and quick service we enjoyed our dinner very much.

We had a beautiful experience at La Perla tonight! This was our first time dining in this restaurant and we will be returning soon. The dishes are seasonal and local with a creative twist. We had mussels, peka octopus with vegetables and dessert pandispanj. Everything was perfect, especially the dessert. The restaurant is surrounded by greenery and has parking for cars. The new owners are very kind and they provided us with everything we needed during our dinner. Thank you for a great time!

Such a gem if you are looking for a beautiful spot away from the busy centre of Rovinj during the busy summer season. We accidentally stmboed upon this place and loved every minute of it. The food was fantastic as was the service even though there was a littke crisis as the cook and waiter had been in an accident and they were lacking manpower. The owner was so friendly, she really took time out to give us recommendations and make us feel welcome and satisfied.. The show stopper and an absolute must-try was the desert. It was simply DEVINE. My mom can t stop talking about it. All in all, go and visit, sit in the pretty garden and enjoy real hospotality and great food and wine.

We had an amazing dinner at La Perla! The fish soup, cuttlefish risotto, and beef tortellini were all delicious and flavourful. The apple pie dessert with home made ice cream was the perfect finale. Very friendly and attentive service, they let us eat inside with our little dog. Correct prices for the quality of food. If you’re in Rovinj, make sure to stop here, you won’t be disappointed :)

Very nice restaurant which I can highly recommend (unlike restaurant Konoba Jure which is nerby). La Perla is since 2025 under new ownership and it looks like they want to do everything properly - high standards - so that people will be comming back. Restaurant is suitable for romantic dinner for couples or as place where bigger group of people can eat. I took for a dinner 1st class fish (forgot the name of the fish :)) with Blitva/Špinat. I ordered glass of white wine (which perfectly matched with my taste) and non-sparkling water. The fish was simply the best and with wine it was just perfect combination. Prices were reasonable (comparable to other restaurants in Rovinj). What was a bit confusing - missing menu with selection of food and drinks and prices. Explanation that they are still working on the menu as they just started managing the restaurant was OK for me and everything what I needed to know was told me. The restaurant is worth a visit!

Glad we found this great place. All different dishes for the 6 of us, and all were very impressed. Owner was gracious and friendly. Good atmosphere and traditional music in background. Definitely worth a visit.

We chose this place based on the glowing reviews, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The food is no better than what you’d find in a basic beach snack bar — just presented in a more aesthetic way, perfect for social media photos. While it looks nice on the plate, the taste is completely average and not worth the premium prices or the buzz around it.

Very solid fish and chips in Rovinj. Now there are lots of other options on the menu also. The food is really good. The restaurant is not really a restaurant, more of a takeout place with very limited options to sit bar style and eat. Challenging with a family. Great if you can find a spot, or take your food away. There is not a lot of other seating options nearby, other than maybe dangle your legs off the edge of the really nice pier which is close by. A really good idea for Rovinj.

We didn’t eat here. Reviews and menus on different t sites said Gluten-Free. They no longer offer because they can’t guarantee because of cross contamination. I appreciate that they informed us and the food looks amazing, but he had to go somewhere different. 😔

What a great place. Fresh fish and seafood fast food style. Had a tuna burger and prawn burger. It’s a small place and everything is cooked to order so don’t complain about the wait if it’s busy - it means it’s popular. The chips were mediocre and a bit of an afterthought (hence 4 stars and not 5).

I was an external visitor to the beach and beach bar. The sunbeds are in the upper price segment (2 sunbeds with parasol = €130), but there is excellent, personal service directly at the sunbed (many thanks to the staff!). However, the food was disappointing: the sandwiches seemed unkind, the bread was warm but soggy, and the salads and other dishes were not really enjoyable either. I was particularly annoyed that all the food was served in disposable dishes - completely incomprehensible in this day and age, especially as drinks come in glasses. This also made the food taste like cardboard and was barely edible overall. The iced coffee we ordered was not only not cold, it was even lukewarm (an iced coffee??), even though it was apparently made with ice cream. The toilet infrastructure was also inadequate (partially defective flushes, difficult to see which cubicles were free, paper towels lying in the washbasin). The ambience is otherwise quite okay. However, the price-performance ratio is not right for me. In short: If you value excellent service and are willing to put up with the rest of the offerings, this may be the right place for you - but for me personally, I wouldn't recommend it.

What can I say. Location is 10, grounds are 9, the rest all 3 star. Sun beds are $130 euro daily ( I am not complaining about that; you either get one or not), but if you pay for it one expects good service, at least. Once I chose the beds they made me go all the way in front to make a payment. As a tourist I would expect them to come to my bed to charge my card. I asked how/where I can order a drink, I was told waiter will come to your bed to take the order. That was exactly 88 minutes ago. Ifter I complained, they said that i have to use the app to order ( nobody ever told me( Look, I know that we in US are spoiled and expect good service, but this service is ridiculous. These people have absolutely no idea what business is. Instead of catering to your gests and get another 200 euros on top of the beds from me, they are lazy and don't care. And it is not only Croatia but Montenegro and Albania also. Sorry guys but I guess you need another 30 years to learn the service business. In the meantime I will be going to Mexico where they pamper their guests for 1/3 of the price. Ciao Croatia, see you in 30 years hopefully

Stumbled into this place while walking on the path between the park and town. Beautiful location and attentive staff that looked like they enjoyed their jobs as much as we enjoyed the setting.

Very nice place, the atmosphere was super pleasant! It is a bit overpriced but it is totally worth the overall experience! Chicken salad was great, as well as coffee and lemonade! Our waiter was very nice! The beach is one of the best I’ve been to, the water is crystal clear! I definitely recommend this place ✨

The best pizza 🍕 in Rovinj, by far ... Amazing sea view on the ACI Marina Rovinj and old town ... But only two waiters for the entire terrace. Simply a bad move by the employer. The waiters are friendly, but it was sad to see how much they struggled to take all the orders.We hope that will change soon.

Excellent vegetable and 4 cheese pizza but the cakes were disappointing. All three were bland and the carrot cake tasted more like marzipan. Nice outdoor terrace and DJ during winter.

On our way to the beach, we stopped by and enjoyed a coffee and a cake, which was all delicious. Staff are very nice and attentive but also respect your need for lounging on the comfy chairs. Pleasant music in the background and artisan pastries make it such a special experience. We didn't try the breakfast but it looked amazing, served on a wooden board.

If I could, I would give 6 stars... Cakes beautifuly decorated with fresh fruits, tastes are devine, all produced from best products and knowledge. Prices are fine even place is exclusive. Located on the promenade and lovely to sit all hours of the day. The pizza is well prepared also with fresh components, really tasty. I recommend: Istrian Curd cheese with orange sour cherry.. don't miss this one. An extraordinary flavor of perfumed cheese and hot cherry inside!
