Very cosy place with delicious food and drinks. Everything happens with good dynamics. Some of the tables are big so you may experience lunching with strangers sitting in the same table,which I find really interesting and I really liked it. It is located in the heart of Leiden, next to the canal.

We don’t often go out for breakfast so we try to make sure we have a great experience when we do. Bar Lokaal did not disappoint - there’s a good selection of items including croissants, yoghurt bowl with fruit, eggs Benedict with salmon/bacon/spinach, and both sweet blueberry or bacon and maple syrup pancakes. The atmosphere is great too.

We were pleasantly surprised on Wednesday when My husband and 1 had dinner here. The friendliness of staff, professionally, respectful and nice. Customer service is the Netherlands can be a miss sometimes but this was niiiiceee The food 👌🏾 flavours 👌🏾 location👌🏾, cleanliness 👌🏾 ambiance 👌🏾 close to the pieterskirk, a beautiful church in Leiden. A MUST try!

Perfect place for for a bite to eat and catch up. Delicious coffee and great range of breakfast options which made it hard to choose. Pancakes with bacon and maple syrup hit the spot. Really chill vibe and friendly staff make it easy to recommend.

Nice place to get a food before or after drinks across the street in the Owl bar. Roasted cauliflower and shakshuka were tasty! Flat white coffee also good.

I originally saved this place for their carrot cake. On our first visit, unfortunately, the carrot cake was already sold out 🥲 so we went with the banana bread instead — it was okay, but nothing special in my opinion. On our next trip to Leiden, we came back and this time I finally got to try their carrot cake with cream and walnuts — and I absolutely loved it! It tasted homemade, super soft, moist, full of flavor, and generously filled with ingredients. Definitely worth the praise 😍 If the weather is nice, I recommend enjoying your coffee and cake at one of the outdoor tables. — Just keep in mind that when you’re sitting outside, it can sometimes take a while for the staff to notice you, take your order, and bring your food. Their breakfast menu also looks really good, I’d love to try it someday.

We came here on a busy Saturday morning and were lucky to get a table. Service was friendly and welcoming even thought they were really busy. We had the delicious croissants (highly recommended) and shared a tasty flatbread. I read later that their carrot cake is very good so will have to come back to try it.

This place is a 10/10!!! Leiden has a lot of brunch spots to offer, but we kept coming back to it. The highlight is that you can sit outside on what is basically a boat deck. During bad weather, the inside is also cozy, but on the smaller side. There are always great vibes:) Foodwise, we tried a few different things, our top favourite would be the scrambled eggs with avocado and feta though. The açai as well as the french toast were also delicious.

Roos is a place that we visited only for breakfast. We love the ambient and the people that visit it. But i must say that yesterday, Saturday morning it was very crowded and they served us after 40 minutes. We had an onion soup which was amazing (see photos), but the scrambled eggs bread was just a big slice of bread with some scramble egg and a bit of avocado spread. As for the bacon, it was so dry, we couldn't eat it. The soup costed something like 8,50 and the bread 14,50... no need to explain what was the best choice for us :)

A perfect experience: We went in for brunch, immediately found a table to sit at and had some salads and a breakfast burger. The aloha bowl was my choice and it was absolutely delicious. The service was quick and attentive, but not overbearing.

The food looked lovely, and the portions were big. There is a special lunch menu, which was nice. However, the drinks were not up to standard. If you enjoy tea, do not order it - the tea bags do not contain enough tea to do anything but colour the water. Not to mention I had to wait for my food for 20 minutes, and my tea got cold. Coffee is fine, but not the best in town, although if you come here for food it is better to get it that tea. Espressos, by the way, are served with water - please tell the waiters that. The soup was excellent.

The ambience is quite interesting, cocktails were smooth and food was delicious. Vegetarian options could be limited. Service is decent maybe because of busy time they missed to give us plates and had to wait long for servers to take orders.

The restaurant is very unique and beautiful in a vintage way. There are several floors to explore but we were seated on the ground floor. The music is very lively and catchy. Easy moving vibe. The only downside is the menu list. We found it too limited options to choose from. But the portion is big. The service is beyond regular restaurants in the whole country. What we love the most is free tap water without asking. This should be everywhere in the country. Recommended

Lovely spot that has a funky vibe. The food was delicious and fresh (and affordable), plus they also serve cold pressed juices. It’s loud inside, but it’s all part of the experience. The restaurant is wonderfully decorated, and each room has its own photograph moment. The servers were extremely efficient and friendly (plus they all spoke English, which made ordering a little easier). If you’re in Leiden, make sure to visit! You might need to book ahead of time.

We stumbled upon this place after arriving in Leiden after a long travel day from Brussels. We had no real plan for dinner and just looked for highly rated places nearby so we didn't know what to expect. When we first walked into the foyer... I'll admit we were confused... But I'm glad we figured it out because the place was so cool and beautifully decorated. We got lucky that they had a table for us despite being walk-ins. They served us bread and butter to start and it was so delicious! The bread was still warm and I don't know what was in the butter but it was really good! We got the crispy chicken bao as an appetizer, then I got the salmon tartare as a main and my partner got the burger. All were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere in this space just added to the overall experience. I'm glad we found this spot as it totally deserves all the great reviews it has gotten!

Delicious food, great atmosphere, and an interior that’s just made for photos. Everything is fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff is warm and smiling, they truly help create the vibe of the place. The dishes are thoughtful, well-balanced, and served with style. Definitely worth a visit, Paco Ciao isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience.

I loved the Atmosphere. Loved going through the closet door. Feels like you in a fairytale movie. I liked all the decorations in the place. I got a jasmine tea and Carrot cake. They gave free popcorn. The carrot cake was so delicious. Probably one of the best I have eaten. The toilet had a mirror ball with some music playing. It was a little busy so the staff were running around. But they were very friendly.

Food was delicious but unfortunately we did not enjoy the turkish meatballs(too much cumin). Other than that everything was extremely delicious. Awesome fries and buns! Great drinks 🍹

Arrived early without reservations but got a table that was reserved for later. Service took longer than expected. Seemed like they forgot about us after we ordered desert. Food delivered was different than what I ordered. Flavors were ok but not exceptional. Nacho chips were different than expected- different texture than I have tried before. Didn’t think I was going to like them at first but they grew on me.

Had an absolutely lovely time here! Great atmosphere and the servers are super nice. We assume our server was new(er) and she seemed a bit nervous, but she was so precious and it was all in good fun! The food was absolutely delicious. We loved everything we ordered. Definitely recommended!

My yesterday’s discovery. We went there to have lunch due to ours taco cravings. This place was perfect match from heaven. We were very warmly welcomed and the food was so so so yummy! We ordered ceviche, corn ribs, different tacos and pastel de tres leches. Dishes were nicely elaborated and coctails were also good. Very much recommended!

Service was a bit of a mess: we were told we couldn’t sit outside, then went inside only to be told there were no tables inside, only to end up back outside at a free table. The pimiento peppers were tasty and well-charred, and the crispy tuna tacos were the highlight for us- fresh, crunchy, and full of flavour. Unfortunately, the pulled pork was extremely dry and kind of an odd flavouring, and the pulled chicken was slightly better but not worth ordering again.

Lovely gem of Leiden with stylish and welcoming atmosphere! Loved the food and highly recommend nacho chips and sardines. We loved the friendly hostess of the restaurant but the rest of the staff wasn’t very friendly. This was my second time here and I would love to come back.

A cozy Latin American restaurant located on the water. Sat outside as the day was winding down and wholeheartedly enjoyed the vibe and service. Staff was super friendly and enthusiastic and the steak I had was delicious. Recommended and will return next time I find myself in Leiden.

Great place for a quick takeaway lunch! I tried their carpaccio sandwich which was tasty, although some of the added vegetables did not fit well within the sandwich. As the name implies they also sell 'Soups & Salads' which also seem quite nice!

Incredible hidden gem! A must visit in Leiden! We cycles into the city centre it was really busy, being freshers week at the University, but this was a great little find! I would recommend this to anyone visiting Leiden, healthy, welcoming, tasty and great value!! Thanks so much

Went to the new location at Beestenmarkt 14 and picked up 2 sandwiches with meatballs and one with smoked salmon & avocado ! The pumpkin soup is out of this world! Absolutely recommend !!

I always buy from soups and salads if I want a healthy& balanced meal. Ingredients are always super fresh and tasty. Definitely the healthiest place in Leiden. And the workers are always kind and friendly. 10/10

I’m a sucker for an all you can eat option, and this definitely hits the spot. I had a good time and order a bunch of stuff, the menu has a very good variety, everything tasted good and the service of the waiters were extremely top notch, fast and polite. Would definitely be going back.

Great service and very fast! Portions are small, which works perfectly for an all-you-can-eat experience. Tasty dishes, good variety, and a clean space. Only downside: the lighting is a bit too bright—dimmer lights could create a nicer atmosphere.

The service impressed me, as they managed to handle the high volume of orders quite efficiently. However, please note that during dinner, the restaurant tends to be crowded and noisy, so it may not provide a peaceful dining experience. In terms of pricing, I found the all-you-can-eat option to be reasonable, but the drinks are pricey. It would be great if they also offered tap water as a beverage choice. Overall, it's a solo diner-friendly place, although it may get crowded at times.

This is best sushi place out of all the Shabu Shabu restaurants! We were three people and ate four rounds. The staff was friendly and the ordering process was easy (by phone). The ice cream here is fantastic! The black sesame, white sesame, and matcha flavors are the best. Definitely come here for sushi!!

Maybe the best all you can eat japanese restaurant I have been too, definitely the fastest! Normally it's always such a tease as they make you wait for every round so that you buy more drinks, but here food arrives very quickly! Really enjoyed all the sushi and the meat dishes, it's of high quality for the standards of these kinds of restaurants. They also have a very big dessert buffet with some delicious options (including macrons). Will be back in the future for sure!

Excellent option: one of the best salads I've had all year! Tourism Office clerk recommended this place as one she goest to - so thanks! We shared four things: pint of beer, onion soup, club sandwich, and the goat salad with walnuts. ALL of the dishes were excellent: flavorful, fresh, and generous sizes. TBH we should have skipped the soup - had trouble finishing the sandwich & salad we were splitting! Staff was cheerful & welcoming, atmosphere is cozy, right across the canal from the old City Hall & the weekly market.

I must say that the place is really nice! Next to the canal, drinking something refreshing on a Sunday or Saturday morning, it gives such a nice vibe to begin your day. But unfortunately I must say that my experience there wasn't good at all. I went there with friends and we ordered 15 minutes after we sat. One of the waiters came, and he took the order (one cold americano and two iced teas with peach). At least that's what we expected and about the tea, the guy had told us that they had peach iced tea. Eventually, they brought us iced tea with lemon flavor and a latte with caramel sirop. The thing that we didn't like the most was the reaction of the waiters who were stressed because of the crowd but at the same time not helpful at all. When we wanted to pay, we wanted to split, which happens very often in the Netherlands, and they even insisted that we pay all together. In general, the experience wasn't nice, and I'm sorry, but we'll definitely not go again.

Nice Dutch place next to the canal. We got served quite fast. Chilled atmosphere. Food is a bit below average.

I ordered a pork schnitzel. But I got a thick piece of meat, not panfried, and I'd say it was chicken, although I cannot tell that for sure. A schnitzel must be a flat panfried piece of meat. Chips were good, and also having dinner on a flat boat makes is nice.

3,5 stars. Cute place next to the water with some vegan and plenty of vegetarian options. Flatbread with Baba Gharouge (baba ghanoush made from beets) was a bit minimalistic. For the price of €11,- I could have hoped for more toppings than just olives, paprika and rocket. Lebanese flatbread is pre-made from the Turkish supermarket. Nevertheless pretty good! Staff is friendly, restaurant looks cosy both inside and outside on the terrace.

The service is poor. It takes ages to order the food. They don’t have menu with soft drinks prices. The waiters don’t take your empty plates for 30 minutes literally. However seating outside can be nice because they have warm pillows on the chairs.

This place is a joke. They have "love and attention" written on their shirt, however we were completely ignored even though we were sitting near the bar. Also you cannot even walk up to the bar and get a beer, you have to wait for one of the waiters that won't even notice you.

Went here for Valentine’s Day. It was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend has a severe nut allergy and they were very accommodating. Never been to a restaurant where they were able to alter each dish to make sure my boyfriend could still enjoy something as delicious as the actual dish itself. He really appreciated that and the service was impeccable too. Very quick and having the chef come out and describe each dish and wine pairing made us feel like royalty. I can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10

We tried the 4 course dinner with matching wines and everything was delicious!! The flavour combinations was excellent and the matching glasses of wines that came with each course was really good! Fine dining for sure, and the service was spotless. Overall very good experience and we’re definitely going back.

It is possible to say that we had wonderful dinner. Everything what I ate were delicious. The woman who owned this restaurant (with her husband) is very kind , helpful and beautiful. The prices are expensive. But add this restaurant to your dinner list.

Such an amazing restaurant! Highly recommend going their or ordering from them. We had their oysters, lobstor, asparagus, potatoes, and the tuna starter (see photos). This was the perfect amount for two, and everything tasted amazing! We wanted to go and try this place for my partner's birthday but that wasn't possible due to COVID-19. So, they delivered us the food with easy to understand and simple instructions (basically we just had to warm everyingthing up as it had alreadsy been cooked perfectly). They also included ballons and a birthday banner, this was so meaningful and kind, it really made my partner smile. Thank you for making my partner's day that much more special and for all of the great food and service, we cannot wait to come and sit down in your resturant once COVID-19 is over!

I was totally infatuated with the menu. When you open the front page, there was sounds of birds chipping and the nature. Really unique feature!!! I ordered orange ginger dream, which was a tad sour and gingery. There was chocolate beside the drink. Unlike normal Dutch (according to my friends), I ate the chocolate by itself not did not sprinkle it on top.

Nice concept, great atmosphere with a rather interesting menu. Bagels are fresh and tasty. They have reasonable prices with a great service. We sat upstairs and with the big open windows lights up the room and gives it the atmosphere. Aswell as many vegan options for those who may need it.

As always, bagel&beans stores are usually buzzing with activity. This specific one has beautiful windows with view on the canals. It does feel a bit cramped when full of people enjoying their bagels but the service is quick and attentive which is great! There is a large variety of bagels and they offer mushroom coffee. The mushroom coffee tasted fine but it didn't state what mushrooms was used to make it. This is a perfect place for a meet and greet with friends and or family but be aware of its popularity.

Very tasty bagel, the BLT was fresh the bagel was a bit doughy but still tasty. I would have expected a bit more toppings for the everything bagel but it was great overall. The mustard dressing was great. The peanut chicken was average and the balance was a bit off with the sambal, that was the only thing you could taste. The pecan pie was quite dry and dense not a fan.

The restaurant itself is not on the canal but their outdoor area has been moved near by the canal and it makes the feel very comfortable and with a holiday mood Food is good and plenty of choices with a big variety of bagels. Service is efficient and nice.

We had a 5-course menu to celebrate a special occasion. Everything was fairly priced, the pace of service was great, and all the food was delicious and had special combinations of ingredients. Portions were also surprisingly good, we were very satisfied by the end of the dinner. Service was friendly but non-invasive. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very nice, though outside a bit less. But regardless, sitting by the window we had a great time enjoying some sunshine.

Such a nice restaurant with a very homely feel. Service is really good and friendly. The food is a mix between very original dishes and classic European quisine. We took the chef's special 4 course which was perfect in amount and variety. For those who don't eat meat there are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. Finally, the bar is beautiful!

Lovely coffee shop on a corner with a view. Some toys available for kids, which is a nice addition. Enjoyed a delicious vegan sandwich as well as choco. Love that they give a discount for oat milk!

We got the Apple cake, scones and coffee. This review is not about the food. The menu was adjusted for the Marathon. My partner got a half of biscuit with her Latte. The “ijscappuccino” was a disaster. What I think a small glass of fridge coffee. Or change the name. The rest of the order was okay. The view of the participants was perfect.

As a Canadian traveller, the staff were very quick to help me understand the menu. As well as clearly read the bill. So kind! The food - exceptional and the presentation was beautiful. While I only tried one meal, the whole place smelled amazing!

Lunch for 2. Small but very delightful soup, tasty fresh salad, eggs with bacon, bread with pea-spread (surprisingly yummy) and a nice cheese stick to make the plate complete. Very tasteful, well presented and absolutely fresh. What more can you wish for on an Sunday lunch break?!

It's easy to miss this gem of a place in Leiden. I usually go in to have their cappuccino which, by the way is the best coffee I've tasted in a long time (and I don't even like coffee). Today, I decided to try out their breakfast and I'm really glad I did. Their "Droom Croissant" is just that 😍 Since that was such a hit, I decided to try out their scone with clotted cream and fruity jam. It was the first time I'd had a scone which seemed to be made from whole wheat flour but which was just as soft and melt in the mouth as a scone made from regular flour! I was in gastro heaven 😊👌 what's more is that the staff are friendly and always have a smile on their face however busy it gets! Thank you very much Anne&Max for a cosy, tasty and warm foodie experience! I'll be back 😇

Okay restaurant with good food. We had an early dinner and the place was a bit chilly. We had ribs and a chicken burger. The latter was a bit dry, the ribs and fries were good. So was the aioli.

Stopped in en route to Zeeburg from Hoek after getting lost and having to find my way back to the correct cycle path. A sudden downpour meant it was time for dinner… I had the chicken Caesar and a flat white (with a cheeky beer chaser) Salad was fresh and crunchy and not overdressed. Chicken tasted as though it had been cooked whole and shredded off the bone which was tasty. Either good home cooking or good suppliers. I was on a budget so the Caesar was one of the cheapest filling options. I’d of loved a pizza but found them a little expensive. My first eating experience on the Netherlands and welcomed warmly out of the rain by good food and engaging staff. Good benchmark set for my trip. All the best from Scotland.

Prepare to wait for a long time!! We waited 45 min until they brought our food but they only brought the meals of my family and not mine. They said it would come soon. My family finished their food and mine still didn't arrive after more than an hour, so we told them to cancel it and left. - They excused themselves saying that they were too busy but the place was almost empty!! - Any other table also had to wait for a long time....

The best French Toast in Leiden. I took 4 photos so you can see it from every angle. It's beautiful. It's delicious. It's everything you need on a rainy Sunday morning. The coffee matches the quality of the food. Excellent. The yoghurt needs to be a bit more naughty however. It tastes light half fat, when I go out for breakfast I want the full on experience. I added the maple syrup from the French Toast to the granola and boom! Perfection. Great service, super lovely atmosphere. I'll be back soon with some mates. Good brunch is hard to find around these parts, well done! Edit* We came back for dinner to try the menu but it didn't quite hit the same level of experience that the breakfast gave. The Entrecôte was underwhelming, under seasoned and the pepper sauce needed to be slightly thicker. It didn't stay on the steak. Check the photo and you'll understand my disappointment. Alas 4 stars must be awarded. Service was impeccable again and the atmosphere was lovely.

There is not many options for the breakfast. I ordered scrambled eggs with grilled tomatoes. Taste is good but it could be more creative. It is expensive considering the ingredients. Place is so nice,- near of the canal. One of the waiters always ignored us on purpose. That’s weird.

Wonderful French style food and picturesque outdoor seating on a barge in the canal. It's so beautiful it looks like a postcard. The tartines and croquettes were excellent, and the fresh French bread was soft inside with a firm outer crust as it should be. Nice friendly service as well. Very happy with our visit.

An very attractive restaurant that opens all day in the centre of Leiden. The décor inside is very attractive and there are many little rooms at various level to suit every party size. The alfresco seating outside including particularly the tables on the barge is very attractive, perfect for a mid summer dinner with friends and families.

Nice location. Extra points for bringing tap water without asking for it (or charging). However the waiting time for the food was really long. Food is delicious. Both the goat cheese salad and the croque madame were tasty.

Came here during Leidens ontzet Festival to try their hutspot with delicious beef brisket, this is a special during the Festival to commemorate the freeing of the city by the Dutch against the Spanish in 1574. I really enjoyed the meal and the time at this restaurant, the service and ambience are both great! Will definitely be back sometimes.

I’m disappointed with the sandwich they make as well. I can agree with Jayesh's comment earlier. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was not good. Bread not toasted and the whole sandwich was dry. Chicken sausage from supermarket and a sour sauce. Carrot soup ok, but cold. Two items 15,45€. Not again, thx.

Ordered a latte and a tuna melt sandwich after parking outside. A few years ago I had this habit that if I ever dropped someone off at the station I’d treat myself to breakfast to go. Normally they’d be able to get it done well before the 10 minute parking timer runs out. This time, after 20 minutes I asked how much longer the sandwich is going to take… Turns out all 4 of them simply forgot about it. I had to leave immediately as I saw a few cops on bikes just outside the station, and I didn’t want to risk getting breakfast for 14eu + a 75eu fine. Just hope they didn’t write me up otherwise I’d have paid 90 for a latte. For what it’s worth… The coffee was fine, but don’t visit this place if you’re in a rush

I went here on a Wednesday morning and it was very nice and lively! The staff attending us was really friendly. The food looked really good, although I have not tried anything yet. We only ordered two drinks: fresh ginger tea and a chai latte. It is also a nice and central location as it is right outside of Leiden Central Station. I would come back to try one of their baked goods! :)

Love the aspiration to create delicious food with completely organic ingredients. There is no meat in any dishes - fully Vegetarian /vegan. Even had "the good roll" toilet paper. The only thing is the food is that my friend and I neither of us really liked any of the dishes we ordered. It was all bit strange flavor combinations - but that's just what we're used to maybe. Very nice small Café with several vegetarian and vegan options. For coffee and chai drinks you can also choose between cow milk or soy or oat. My falafale balls have been very delicious, very cross on the outside but lushy inside. It's located directly at the water but not so crowded like all the other Cafés with the seats on a boat. The staff was really friendly. It's on my list for the next trip to Leiden.

It was my first time trying food from Iraq! It was great. Homemade smoothies were great. We tried Tikke, kotelet, Quizi, with rice and bread. The spices used for cooking were just right taste and right amount (It is not hot spicy). Highly recommended.

I'm really disappointed with what the new owner did with the menu. It was originally fully vegetarian with plenty of vegan options, but now there are meat options on the menu. I used to come here all the time because of its standards to not have meat on the menu, but now that that's no longer the case, I unfortunately won't be eating here anymore. It's not simply because of the fact that there's meat on a menu, but because of the change of standards of the restaurant. Plus the bathrooms were not clean when we went there, and the food was not as great as I remember, and there was a hair in my food.

Used to stop by weekly, but lately it has gone downhill in a major way. The wellness stands out like a sore thumb and the place keeps losing any nature it had left, in place they are making more buildings. They say they are nature friendly, but removing the flower garden and birds for wellness is far from it. There used to be a beautiful wild area with thorny bushes on the other side of the wellness across the water. Now it has turned into a desert with hardly any growth left. They call it an animal food forest but no animal wants to live there. There used to live so many birds in the brambles, now only silence. I will never again come here it is very sad to see.

Update July 2025; This is no longer a vegetarian restaurant and that annoys me. I really wonder if they keep the fish and meet separate from the vegetarian dishes. The shakshuka was amazing, packed with flavor and together with the flatbread it was amazing. The sandwich definitely needed some sort of sauce, the chicken and toppings were good but it needed some punch. The soup was good.

Fantastic find - my family wanted a quick lunch before exploring the city and happened upon this lovely little café/bistro. I had wanted to order the chicken bestilla, but sadly they were sold out. However, I was not disappointed by the sandwich I ordered (the “Sahara”, I believe). My husband had a tasty soup and the kids really enjoyed their smoothies and the “Hamza” sandwich that they shared. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and happy to make any special requests that we had. Would highly recommend!

Cozy and quiet. I went here with a friend who is familiar with this place. The waiter was really nice in explaining all the dishes! My hamburger was sooo tasty and big!!! Wonderful cafe in the heart of Leiden - small, cosy, with fantastic coffee and sandwiches. Their sandwiches are built up with fresh ingredients and a good understanding of texture/flavours. This place is soooo cute and the staff is simply amazing. I had apple pie and cappuccino. It was definitely one the best apple pie i tried in the Netherlands, apples were still crispy and delish, home-made whipped cream was perfect match. And coffee is really good as well! If I would start a café, this is exactly the vibe I want to create! Tootje is a really small cafe located on a corner of a kinda busy street, but the second you enter you get sucked into their cozy artistic bubble. I got to try two of their sandwiches, the avocado and the spicy hummus, which were both equally pretty. They tasted even more delicious than they looked. They also have this shelf filled with games to play, very kids friendly! Unfortunately I wasn't a big fan of their coffee though.

I really don’t know how this place could get a 4.8 star rating. We went there for our first and also last time… The spot looks cute from the outside, but the dirtiness of every single cup, cutlery or plate was unbelievable! We ordered a coke and the glass had stains all over it with some water and black specks of dirt in it. The cutlery had the same thing. The worst though was when we were served the food. By this time we didn’t even really want to touch it. We ordered pancakes, that came served on a plate that still had avocado sticking on it, to make sure you would know what the person before you had been eating… We also had an acai bowl, which I taste tested but it was honestly really bad. It just tasted earthy and not at all how it should‘ve.

As a Spaniard i was deceived with the food, which wasn’t really Spanish. The tomato on the “pan con tomate” was basically tomato sauce, the “tortilla de patatas” had onion on the top rather than mixed and also pimentón. The croquetas were not homemade.
