Best culinary experience. I am a vegetarian foodie ans love food based on veggies. I sat at the counter and watched the guy prepare every single dish. I had the tuna, kale ceasar, asparagus and maple desert with a sauterne. A lot of caring on each of them. Highly recommend!

We came here for our anniversary and it completely surpassed my expectations! The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was incredible, and upon presentation, was described to us in great detail. As a vegetarian, I also really appreciate the veggie focused menu!

A phenomenal first meal in Canada. Upscale service, food, and presentation in a very casual vibes environment. I can confidently say this is the best varied presentation of delicious vegetables I've had in my life. They aced every dish, and dispelled all notions that fiber needs to be an afterthought on your plate. This has encouraged me to level up my vegetable game at home when I cook. The Pickled Melon with Proscuitto (or whatever cut it was) was my favorite dish. Insane to me, because I'm a known Melon hater. They made me love it. The carrots were also dynamite. Smoky and rich. I hope to come back to Canada just to eat here again. All the staff was lovely, helpful, fast and super great at suggestions. Lyndy was our server, but everyone pitched in and gave my family of 6 a fantastic time.

I took my wife here for her birthday dinner and was very impressed with everything here. The food is absolutely delicious and I'd say 95% of the vegetable dishes can be made vegan which is great for me but the staff go the extra step by offering the non-vegan items from the dish on the side for others ar the table. The service here is outstanding, friendly and helpful plus they don't rush you at all afterwards. Love that! It can get quite loud in the restaurant and some of the tables are quite close together which can make things feel a bit cramped but not a deal breaker. My only suggestion would be some dedicated vegan dishes with tofu or something would be great on the mains side of things. We will definitely be back though.

Came for a solo lunch while visiting Calgary! Everything was delicious, the pickled melon blew my mind. 😂 in the best way. The cacio e pepe was literally the best pasta I’ve ever had. Laura was an amazing server! 😊 I cant wait to visit again and explore more of the menu! ❤️

Delicious dinner here at Ten Foot Henry. All the dishes we had were great. The tomatoes with whipped feta and herb, roasted carrots, tuna crude, and gigli kale pesto. Service was also nice and friendly. I would love to return and try their other dishes.

George was wonderful! He recommended some of the best foods and engaged in great conversation. The drunken noodles are truly their specialty (add the mushrooms and tofu for sure)! The vegetarian sushi was the also delicious! The yam fries with garlic aioli were also a group favorite.

Unfortunately my first experience at The Coup wasn’t as good as I had hoped. My group was participating in Taste the City and the coup was really struggling to keep up with service while we were there. I think a staff shortage may have been the cause and hope to try The Coup again in the future. We were seated quite promptly but then no one came by for about 25 minutes. We had planned to order a round of drinks but by then we knew we wouldn’t get the drinks in time. The waiter did ask if we would like still or sparkling water, but then never came back with the water. After 40 minutes we did get our food. We had to ask for cutlery and we never received napkins. We did have to eat it quickly and then move on to our next stop.

Fantastic food, the falafel quesadilla was so good and that cheesecake melts in your mouth - so delicious!! How is it Vegan? Cooper served us and was a fantastic host! He provided great recommendations, he was so friendly and so kindly offered an after dinner apple pie aperitif! Such an amazing service throughout - we will definitely come back!!

The vibe, the food and the staff were incredible! You could really taste the fresh ingredients and the different flavors. We enjoyed our evening here and would love to come back. Can definitely recommend!!! We had the Hot Pot (see the picture) and lovedddd it!!!!

One of the best vegan places I have been to. The food is super delicious, flavorful, fresh and light to eat and also a very eclectic menu. I didn't feel bloated after my meal. Ambience is very relaxing and staff is super friendly. Definitely recommend this place to all the veggie and vegan folks.

First time here, spacious and beautiful space, lots of seating. Wonderful friendly staff! We went with the drunken noodles and falafel wrap. Both equally delicious, I loved the noodles, sauce was excellent. Great portion sizes. Everything was wonderful 😊

Overall, great atmosphere albeit pretty loud ambience. The good was simple but elevated experience, my favourite was their endive salad. The chicken was good, crispy, tender but also over salted. Burger had a nice brisket with over-seasoned fries. We had a good experience overall, and the prices are very reasonable given the location and view and overall food quality and portions. Would definitely return!

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The décor, lighting, and energy of the place instantly set the mood for a fun night out. The food was absolutely outstanding — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell that a lot of care goes into both the cooking and the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always smiling, which made the whole experience even better. Shoutout Bill our server was amazing great drink recommendation and food recommendation. I left with a full stomach, a big smile, and memories of a fantastic night. I can’t wait to come back again

We had a three course meal and some shareables, as well as drinks. Both were on point. My wife had the cesar salad, duck breast and a dairy free desert. I had the beef tartare, icelandic cod and an afagatto. We shared the glazed pork belly and some truffle fries. It was probably the best meal we’ve had in years. Food, drink and service were flawless. I wish we could remember our waitresses name because she was amazing!

Fantastic drop in experience that surpassed all expectations. The food was delicious and filling. With the duck being a particular highlight. Rich, full of flavour without stripping the actual flavour of duck out and being tender while not void of texture. The entrees were delightfully flavourful and service was prompt, polite and attentive. We opted for a quick power lunch of two entrees and a main and left far more filled than we could have expected. I only had the peach old fashioned but if that was anything to go by I think any cocktail there is a good bet. The atmosphere was clean, cosy and luxurious. With decor within being art deco/ mid century and put together with such great attention to detail that you had as much a view inside as you did looking out the window. And goodness is the view from the window something to behold. No camera of mine would do it justice but seeing the Calgary skyline and mountains in the distance was spectacular for still being in the downtown area. Highly recommend the experience and if you get the stroke of luck I had. Seeing two peregrine falcons fly towards us and perch outside the window momentarily was an external factor but one that made it all the more memorable.

Major Tom is one of the more premium dining experiences available in Calgary. Located in a downtown highrise the views can't be beat; the ambience gives metropolitan vibe and the food and beverage offering reflect that. The service was top tier and our server kept a good check on us even tho they were perpetually busy. We were by for a quick drink and apps and got the tartare and a few other sides, all delicious and innovative. Major Tom is definitely a place to go and be impressive and be impressed. Recommend for first timers to specify when making a reso a window seat in case they can accommodate you. Finally, Fine Dining but make it cool! I'll be back next time I'm in town.

We have been excited to try Major Tom since they opened. Yes, the view is pretty impressive and the open space surprises you as you're in a building. We were told to get appies here over main dishes. Thus, we ordered the Major Tots, Oysters on the Half Shell, Yellowfin Tuna Crudo, Hokkaido Scallop Crudo, and Roasted Scallops. My wife had the Oysters on the Half Shell. She said they were fresh and delicious. The Major Tots were impressive. The potatoe-y goodness with crispy exterior was complimented by a cream swirl. While pricey, the tots were worth it. The Yellowfin Tuna Crudo was a fun dish. The crispy squares paired well with the refreshing citrusy yellowfin tuna. Despite a similar name, the Hokkaido Scallop Crudo was served differently. They were on shells with a light acidic touch. Finally, the Roasted Scallops were perfectly cooked. They need nothing else to elevate them. We finished the meal with a Chocolate Millefeuille. It was not too sweet and well-balanced. It was a good ending to a good meal. We highly recommend the appetizers. It's a great place to stop by and grab a bite.

I ordered the coconut chicken bowl. The rice with the curry was surprisingly good, the chicken was cut a little bit weirdly but it is also what i expected. Overall a decent choice for the price (and for being located in downtown) and the speed of service as well, I think I got my bowl in just a few minutes. Their smoothie looked quite good so I will definitely be back to try those.

I ordered the Achilles meal as part of a group order on Skip. Overall, the meal bowl was delicious, with well-made Mediterranean chicken and crisp salad greens. The only downside was that the portion size was smaller than expected for the price. I might consider ordering it again, but not in the near future due to the portion size and cost.

My go to place!! Has THE best dirty chai latte I have ever had!!! All of the bowls are 10 out of 10.. the goodmorning sandwich is also delicious! Pricing is really decent for huge portions as well Staff are super friendly and they always remember you.

Very yummy! I ordered this on door dash, so in all fairness I didn’t sit in the actual restaurant. Buuuut I was searching for something quick and healthy for lunch and I loved it. The jalapeno aioli was so good and the veggies were delicious. However I asked for quinoa and received rice. So that was my only negative. I also ordered the chocolate dessert. They put it on top of the hot veg bowl I ordered in the delivery bag, so it was a bit melty when I received it. Still very yummy though! I would order from here again :)

What a terrific place to come for a lunch meeting while downtown! I had the Holy Poke built-up toast with mushrooms instead of avocado and the wild sesame ahi tuna was better than any tuna I've had at legitimate sushi places! Sooo delicious. Super friendly staff and great decor, and everything is compostable (all pictured in this reciew). 11/10 would recommend!!! 💪🏽👊🏽💥🤟🙂❤️

This place is top-notch for quick healthy, fresh food and great coffee (update as of January 2024 and really, post-pandemic, their coffee game has diminished.... it's too hot, just not the quality it was, perhaps they don't have trained baristas anymore - that part is too bad so I am taking away a star....sorry!) Awesome breakfast options (some are all day) and really solid bowls and salads. Have not tried their smoothies but they sound awesome. Their built-up toasts are truly built up and worth the price. Current fave is the Holy Poke Toast (delicious and perfectly concocted and seasoned) - pictured. Prepare for a long and squishy line-up at lunch, or course a place this good gets busy (and it isn't big) and get ready to listen for your name. Three more big bonuses: all their packaging is compostable, they have mobile ordering option through the Ritual app, and.....!!! they have a happy hour every weekday from 2:30-3:30pm where any 12oz standard coffee beverage (latte, cappuccino, etc) is only $2.25!!!!! So, so good.

Loved the bowls—so fresh and well made! Especially liked the Seoul bowl and ahi tuna poke salad. I also liked the green goddess latte, which was piping hot and had a very strong matcha taste

Good Earth Coffeehouse has been an icon in this area for eons. The eclectic furniture and wooden platforms give Good Earth an old time feel with today’s updated funky vibe! They focus their food on organic homemade fare with customized coffee, tea and alcoholic beverages. They offer outdoor patio settings as well. This location has a ceramics and painting studio conjoined to it. The hours are good but they close fairly early on weekends so plan accordingly. Good Earth is a nice place to sit and unwind.

I was having some important work nearby this shop and was having some time so I thought to give it a shot. Ohh boy, coffee was really good. Thank you for the best, neat, clean, quiet and cozy place in downtown. I was here in the afternoon and it was busy but there was still plenty of space available to sit. Sandwich 🥪 was simply wonderful and was tasty and so muffins.. I will definitely suggest visiting this place.

Still One of my favourite coffee shops in yyc. Been going here for 20 years. Staff is friendly. Never feel rushed. Is a great meeting spot to chat or work. And can stay for hours. Everything here at the beltine location is peaceful ✌️and neighborly. including the color me paint studio next door.

Homemade sandwiches and good earth coffee. Friendly staff and it's clean. They do need a place outside for the smokers to put their butts though. I walk past it every day, and theirs lots of butts on the ground. Other than that, it's a great place.

Good Earth Coffee is soooo good, and this location in particular is the best!! The milk is always the perfect temperature and never over heated which makes for heaven in a cup. Plus my Doggy is a particular fan too! 🐶❤️

This place has such a comfortable, lived-in feel that it’s easy to lose track of time here. The wooden tables and big windows give it a warm, open vibe, and there’s usually a steady hum of quiet conversations mixed with the smell of fresh coffee.

Even when busy they get to you fairly quickly. Coffee is good and their cakes and sandwiches are tasty and hearty

We had the best late afternoon lunch experience at Alumni. We brought our 8m old and were pleasantly welcomed by the staff who were eager to get us settled with a high chair. The combination of excellent service, great attentive staff, amazing food, and great ambiance make this the perfect spot for lunch, dinner, etc! We tried the devil eggs which were very good! Their Caesar salad was declined too which I’m usually picky about since I often make it from scratch myself. They got a good thing going on here and I’d recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a good experience in Calgary :)

I went on a Friday night and was so pleasantly surprised by Alumni! The hostess was so polite to us when we arrived and she gave us an accurate wait time to be seated. I enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe while we waited. It has a cool modern diner look and feel! My favourite sandwich was the tuna melt. I loved the herbs added to the tuna and the pickled veggies on top. All the flavours came together so well. And the portion of this sandwich is massive! Definitely should have shared, but glad I didn't 😏

Great joint to grab a bite, the food came out quickly and was delicious. We enjoyed a basket of Parm fries, charred broccoli and I had the Tuna melt. Will definitely be coming back to try out their other dishes, everything looked great on their menu.

If you have too much disposable income and like mediocre sandwiches this is your place. Disappointing food over two separate visits. First time I came I ordered the Bronx. The sandwich was so wet the bottom half started disintegrating. Bread was over toasted so somehow the bread was both too wet and dry simultaneously. Second visit, the $19 club is comprised entirely of cold ingredients and if you don't maintain a vise grip on it the sandwich will commit seppuku and spill its cold dry guts because the fillings are all shredded and the sandwich has no structure. Incredibly the cucumbers beat out the bacon in terms of flavour. How is it possible to have cold bacon with no flavour? The fries are absolutely criminal. Somehow they overcooked frozen fries. The service was lovely and the interior has nice decour. Shame about the food though. I would advise paying with credit card because if they had more money I doubt it would improve their sandwiches.

The menu clearly indicates which items are gluten-free or can be made gluten-free, which makes ordering more straightforward. I ordered the Bronx Bomber and shared it with a gluten-eating friend. Based on the texture and taste, I believe they use Care Bakery buns, which I personally enjoy. The bottom bun did start to fall apart slightly, likely due to the amount of mayo and the liquid from the pickled peppers. Next time, I’d request light mayo, as I found it a bit overpowering, but overall, we both enjoyed the sandwich. When I asked about the fryer, the server mentioned that only the potato chips are gluten-free and safe for those with Celiac, not the fries. That said, I would recommend confirming this with staff, as the menu doesn’t mark the chips as gluten-free, and some reviews in FindMeGF app mention that a dedicated fryer may not be available. It’s possible the GF chips are pre-packaged. When I informed them of my Celiac disease, the staff was knowledgeable and took care to prevent cross-contact. My order was also brought out with a verbal confirmation that it was gluten-free, which is always reassuring. Wonderful sandwich place with friendly staff, will definitely be back when I visit Calgary!

We came here on a Saturday around 12:30pm, there was no line and lots of tables available. The Bronx Bomber was very good, with the flavors of the roasted beef and hot genoa salami mixing well. The reuben was good too, the corned beef was a little too salty, though the flavor was delicious. We also had a side of beet salad and Mac salad. The beet salad was really good. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would love to return and try the other sandwiches.

Y Not Today is my new happy place. Their bubble tea is always fresh, and I love how I can tweak it just the way I like. The Bingsu? So light and refreshing — perfect for hot days. But what makes it really special is the vibe. Free board games, puzzles, cozy corners... it’s the kind of spot where you lose track of time. I came for the drinks, but stayed for the good energy and good people. Can’t wait to go back!

A hole in the wall delight - traditional and authentic Mexican food (as good as it gets in Calgary). A good amount of seating, simple yet good food offerings. Would recommend the horchata here. Clean and non greasy food that doesn't make you feel guilty upon eating it. The salsa bar on the side is a good added side to the meal. Friendly and welcoming service.

Hidden Gem!! The most amazing beef tongue tacos and homemade tortillas and horchata! Their fish taco was great too. Kind people! And amazing meal! The beef tongue was so tender it melts in your mouth! The horchata is light and refreshing!

As a Mexican finding a spot where we can truly feel our taste from home was challenging and we found it! We highly recommend it!

I've been three times now and the food has been amazing every time. Comes out very quickly, and there's plenty of meat in the tacos. I really like the carintas and the pescado. The tortillas are so delicious, I'm always tempted to buy the big pack in the freezer. I also like the little salsa bar that they have, though I wish there were small containers you could use. I also wish they had better hours, but when I'm able to make it there, it's so worth it.

Just had the most delicious carne asada tacos and huevos rancheros from Freshadilla in Calgary! The flavors are so authentic, truly takes you back to Mexico. Beyond the amazing food, the prices are really reasonable, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for fantastic, authentic Mexican food!

What a germ! Food is great, very reasonably priced, staff is friendly and polite. Even my three year old son loves their home made soups. I love mexican food and this location is something. The best to go for quick or a family lunch. They are open Thursday to Sunday. There is not that much space for sitting, but you can always find near around in the market. I believe they are also selling home made guacamole too.

Very warm day, we decided to have fresh juice and smoothie. Good Ambiance and Customer Service was fairly good. I ordered Lavender Lover. The taste of this smoothie was nicely blended with rich flavour and aroma of Lavender. Quite refreshing. Not too sweet, the way I like. My friend ordered Orange Apple Carrot Fresh Juice which was phenomenal. Super refreshing. Associate was maintaining good hygiene. Would like to try out some other smoothies. The best thing is location, instead of deep inside Sunridge Mall it is located few meters inside of Daily Fresh doors of the mall.

I recently visited Jugo Juice and had a very disappointing experience. I arrived at the store at 7:50 PM, well before closing time, but the staff rudely informed me that they were closing and claimed that their software might not be working. Not only was the staff unhelpful, but they also seemed unfamiliar with how to use the system properly. Customer service was lacking, and the overall experience was far from what I expected. I hope management addresses these issues to improve service quality.

Horrible quality and consistency. I regularly order the Matcha Peachu from multiple locations and for some reason the Sunridge Mall location is very watery with a gross brown color and overbearing matcha flavor. This is the second time this has happened and I thought perhaps the first time was a fluke. Apparently not... Attached is a photo from Sunridge and Chinook for comparison!

The most disappointing smoothie I've had from a Jugo Juice. Tasted like sugar syrup and wasn't even the same color as the picture on the screen.

“Marisol” from this location is extremely disgusting. She doesn’t wash her hands and makes the drink anyway. And she’s really slow. She will see a customer and not acknowledge them for a while and take forever processing payment and making the order.

I really enjoy coming here for my protein shakes with peanut butter and banana. They serve a wide variety of smoothies, snacks, protein bars, and sandwiches. I walked in today at 5:10, and a kind lady helped me. I just wish they had some music playing in the background, it was a bit too quiet.

If you’re craving for delicious healthy salads and smoothies this is the place to go to. They have huge bowls for salad if for dine in. “Tahini Glory” is a must try. The dressing on salad was so good too. I have tried their smoothies before and I like it too. I suggest that you offer other options for vegetables like roasted sweet potatoes, cauliflowers, etc. I will definitely go back here.

Exactly what I needed to feel like a made a healthy enough choice while on vacation. Love me some juice 🥤 and some day-old sushi at 50% off! Granted the juice and sushi are not the best flavour pairing, but I enjoyed each item individually. And love the food hall this store was located in.

I really like this place. The smoothies are amazing. Strawberry cream and blueberry dream 🤯🤯 are so good. Also Michaela always hooks it up, really good customer service. I saw the employee sneeze repeatedly into their hands, not wash their hands and handle spinach for my order with their hands and put it directly into the smoothie. When I addressed what I had observed the employee then debated what they had done. It’s unfortunate because the product is good, but this type of experience with lack of food safety?, and also disrespect to the communication around what my concern was has left me disappointed

Was so beyond violently ill after eating at dirt belly. I was intrigued by their amazing deal (spend $100 and get $10 off) but I was so sick after I had to go to Montana for health care because it was better quality. Needless to say, dirt belly cost me 1000+ dollars. Got salad though

I got the sweet potato salad. If fresh, this would've been very good. But the sweet potato was a bit rubbery and the greens had so much mushy rotting bits that I barely at any greens. The pea shoots were all going bad and were placed on top as if it wasn't obvious. So off putting. I got it with chicken and there was very little. The dressing was really good though. I'm really disappointed because this salad would've been amazing.

A colleague invited me here for lunch. Fantastic warm curry bowl- top notch as a veggie dish. It’s just in a downtown food court, so you have to order at the kiosk counter and then eat it in the general food court area.

I absolutely love this restaurant. I used to go to the Bankers Hall location all of the time before they closed. Brookfield is excellent though — great menu and friendly staff. It costs about $15.00 for a salad, but they are dinner-sized. Good value. I’ve tried almost everything on their menu and the charred pesto salad is king. I just wish they would bring back some of their old menu items, such as the scoops, ahi tuna, and bacos (bread tacos).

Paid 19.32 for a chicken rice bowl. I even paid for extra chicken. Literally the saddest amount of chicken I’ve ever seen. I have to search the bowl for it. For this price I should get a decent amount of protein. Lame.

Ordered the jerk bowl with chicken... literally had 2 small slice of chicken about an inch long. $16.00 for a bowl of rice and sauce.

I just paid $16 for a salad that was swimming dressing. I wanted SALAD not SOUP. It’s inedible. (And no, I did not ask for extra dressing)
