As a Thai person,whose cuisine is among the most diverse and fiery in the world—I wasn’t particularly excited by the flavors of the food and drinks at this establishment. That said, I have to admit the place itself is legendary. The service and decor left a strong impression. While the food didn’t thrill me, I must say the desserts, complex and meticulously crafted were genuinely impressive.

Great ambiance being in a building that old. Resturant is part of a palace built in the 19th century. You actually be in that era. It’s worth being here. Don’t miss their Honey Cake as well as Dessert ‘Pushkin Cafe’. Friendly staff. Fast service.

Love this place! Just a great combination of different food from all over the world! A lot of healthy options, vegan as well. I tried around 5 different places in total and food was delicious everywhere. Also oysters here are great. One little advice: don’t buy any fruits or vegetables here, unless you really need something urgently. It’s minimum 4 times overpriced! The choice is great and you can find whatever you need but we were shocked how expensive it was. We bought one huge mango for 1500₽ - it’s almost €20! And it was really not good, binned half of it. The other vegetables were fine though. For IQOS users: you can smoke everywhere here!

Minus is that restrooms far away hard to find, and there are not enough quite areas for a talk. Tried BFFls barbecue - liked it very much. Definitely recommend to visit. Prices: 1 hot meal will be about 500 rub, $7. One cup of coffee - 200 rub, $3. But you definitely will spend more because of food and beverage abundance. :)

Tasty and high end food mall with a great variety of options from the traditional Uzbek to more avangarde desserts, new takes on traditional favorites like mac and cheese. Asian cuisines are also well represented like vietnamese, Chinese, Korean. The common sitting area is also grand being a converted factory with high sealing. Overall a great place to visit.

This Depo Food Mall is place excellent for gastro lovers with various cuisine from all over the world. It is large venue, with lot Unique local foods, all home made, food and beverage vendors. You can find anything you want from very healthy vegan to any meat and sea food you can imagine. Walk around and take your time to find food that fits your taste. Definitely would recommend and would come back.

The worst stay I had in my whole life travelling world wide and staying in 5 stars and more hotels. From the reception to the house keeping to the unfriendly staff everywhere accept one decent and hospitable person Miss. Julia Sergeeva. In 5 nights of stay I was lucky to meet Miss Julia which persuaded me to stay.

Located right across from the Bolshoi Theatre, Hotel Metropol is one of those places where time seems to stand still. I stopped by just for a cappuccino and ended up enjoying much more than a simple coffee break. The grand hall is stunning, with high ceilings, stained glass, and an atmosphere that echoes imperial Russia. The menu offers high-quality options at surprisingly reasonable prices, especially for such a prestigious setting. The cappuccino was excellent—perfectly crafted and served in elegant classic china. A great spot to unwind, read, or simply soak in the elegance. Truly a gem that blends history, style, and accessibility.

First visit to Moscow and glad we stayed at the Metropol, especially with its newly renovated rooms. Location is perfect, being so close to the Red Square and Kremlin. Definitely coming back!

(Updated May 2025). Came back for Victory Day weekend. Everything was absolutely amazing. thank you!!! Ive been to Moscow more than 7 times and its the first Time I stay in the Metropol. Very mixed experience. The hotel is a Museum and the salons and bars are beautiful, so much history specially if you are into Russian history its a must to visit. But the experience was not what I hoped for a 5 star hotel. The new rooms are spacious but the furniture looks cheap. Also, the cleaning of the room was not the best, they left dirty mugs, cleaning products and never ever accommodated the clothes (pretty standard for a 5 star hotel). They didn't add more products to the bathroom either. The room service and reception never pick up after 9pm? I found this extremely bizarre. No one opens the door at the front of the hotel before you get into the automatic one? The staff is absolutely lovely (room service night and concierge specially and the staff at the breakfast). These are all points very easy to fix, I hope they do it because its a shame having such a beautiful hotel with poor service.

I didn’t visit the hotel yet but I’m wonder if the toilets have a water cleaner (bidets)

A must-visit Indian restaurant on Mira Prospekt (aveneue) to give that close to authentic Indian taste reminder to your taste buds. Quite fancy interior with Indian rural and kingdom paintings on the wall, big chandeliers and lovely mix of blue color wall designs. We ordered daal tadka (my only craving all the time), garlic naan, aloo kulcha, paneer pakoda, malai kofta and murgh malai seekh kabab... overall food really good with some real spices used in the recipes, however couple of small recommendations to look into recipe of malai kofta and also, a bit watery mint chutney. Garlic Naan and Kulcha were the stand outs...super! Service was excellent with Indian staff as polite as they can be and also, recommending the suggestions to go with your tastes. Thumbs up to visit and since I am gonna be here for few years, this will definitely be an often visited place for us.

I am really not sure about this place. Yes it is something new, no, it’s not so much fun to take off shoes and smell other shoes around you. Yes it is somewhat authentic, no it can’t be called comfortable seating specially if you are wearing dress. The lunch is 1000 rubles and there is no menu and nobody really can tell you what you will get for this money. The food was fine, but I guess it is still too expensive for just food and the experience at least during lunch is not that special. Also, they don’t accept cards.

Visited the restaurant during my visit in June 2024. The restaurant is not what you typically expect a restaurant to be. It is an experience! The ambience of this restaurant is created to portray a typical Indian village household kitchen with rustic and old interiors. They have an open kitchen which is just inside the restaurant. You actually sit in the kitchen and eat. Since as per Indian traditions you dont take shoes in the kitchen, they ask you to do the same. The artifacts kept there are not only show piece but are actually usable as utensils. They dont have any menu. The idea of not having a menu is that you dont know what your mom has made for you. You eat whatever she has cooked. They have a set 3 course menu prepared with very mild spices and little or no oil. The food does not burn your chest after eating. Overall great experience. A must visit place.

Loved the ambience, loved the people working there. It'd be a much different experience for everyone in a good way. You get to eat sitting right in the kitchen just like any authentic old dhaba in India or an old Indian village house. They serve fixed meal with chai with unlimited refills.

Wow. First off, yes it's vegetarian, but when you eat at a place with a rich culture of spices, does it even matter? So much flavor!! The chai was out of this world. As was the dessert. I took a group of 6 and everyone loved it. And the interior is gorgeous and smells amazing. Will definitely return. On the day we went, it was 1800 rubles for the meal and you will leave very full and very happy.

This is the kind of place you would never expect to run in whem in Moscow. Against all clichy they have no alcohol nor any meat(like chicken, lamb etc.). They are a vegetarian restaurant and wil cook a menu with different courses for you. This one changes from day to day. This meams there is also no menu card. But the food is amazing. This place is kind of a modern pub. They have a wide choice of beer including craft beer. Food is good for the pub level. They also have an amazing promotions. For example on Tuesday you can order two pints of beer for the price of one. Not that overcrowded, especially in comparison with the places nearby. If you are going to have several pints with your friends this place is for you. Good luck!

Nice food for indians its nice place to have indoan food and sweets , specially for indian students who study near and live near little bit costly for daily eaters but for sometime its ok . preparation of food is good ,but sitting area is ok ok. Staff is nice.

This used to be the best Indian food in all of Moscow. Honestly, the last time I was here a few days ago, it was nothing like it used to be. Not sure if there is a new cook or what. It's still, by Moscow standards, good, but used to be much better.

This is mindblowingly good. I would gladly spend over 1000 ruble on such a dish and it only costs 110 plus addons. The potato is fresh and very tasty, the salamon topping is just perfect.

Panir was ok, but naan and veggies where not good.Naan very oily and looks like from the shop but not baked. There was not any appitizees offered and bread was brought at the end. This is what a typical restaurant in India is. Being there felt like i am sitting in a restaurant in India. Felt like home away from home. Food is authentic Indian taste. They adjust spice levels according to your tolerance. Staff and service is great.

The food is good but the staff attitude and the service time was way pathetic. Order taken for dal tadka but served dal makhani. The nepali staff here says dont come here next time if u cant wait. Way gross. Try delivery instead of dining in. This nepada in pictures is the worst and thinks as he is the owner!

Wonderful traditional Russian food! Hearty, delicious and cheap. The service is excellent although there is no English menu or assistance. My order was being assembled before I had even finished paying! The portions are fairly small, so order a variety of things.

The Teremok chain is insanely good value for money and the food is surprisingly good. I cannot speak to the authentic nature of the food as I'm not Russian, but it is staggering how good the value for money is here and how tasty the food is. All stores should have an English menu available, you may have to ask the staff for one. A must visit when you're in Russia.
