I have stayed with my wife in Ds valley hotel in 17 june to 20 june 2025 amazing veiw from all rooms with neat and clean, hygiene rooms and wash room. Staff and Care taker was really helpful in every aspects what ever we asked for. I would like to special mention from Front office, Housekeeping, FNB department, food production and other departments I don't remember all the names but I remember 2 names Neeraj Bartwal and Sachin these 2 I remember who have helped and given a best service to us. Thank you Ds valley and this place will be parmanent place for us to stay for every year and we will strongly recommend this place as I am an ex hotelier I know what exactly guest needs are and they are upto that even I can say property matters but more than that employee who take care and deals with guest matters the most. Exactly what they do they work on customer needs. Thank you again.

Pathetic experience.. Food quality very bad, Unclean rooms, banquet hall is in very poor condition. I recently had a function there and they were not serving the snacks, When we ask why there is no snacks and coffee available - they replied: We serve the snacks 2-3 times and its finished. This is how they deliver any function to the clients. Don't waste your money in Mokshda, Rishikesh.

Visited on 18th Feb 2025: We are 3 persons, Had munching here. Ordered : Veg platter , cold coffee n soup. All are great, I rather said it is delicious. Bill: 860 Ambience good. Parking space is less Seating is good Washroom is not that great, but we can ise them, no smell nothing.

Such a third class service, they really dont care that how many people are sitting on a table if there are 7, they will provide glass and plate only for 6. In this weather AC is not working, dont know themselves what all spices and venegor etc have to serve along with soup. You will have to ask everything by yourself. Not assigned any waiter for any table. I don’t understand what is premium in Mokshda 😃

Very unhygienic and Dirty Rooms

Good place, parking is there, they don't provide food and water. Washrooms are just okay. If planning with family of 10 or more people in low budget then room no 402 is okay. Maximum 500 person they charge and 12 beds are there. You can order food from outside.

There was a big cockroach in our room. The electricity was always turning off so our AC didnt work at all times. When ariving the lights wouldnt turn on for an hour. There was no soap or toilet paper, given only after asking. When aranging a taxi we were told he would arrive at a certain time but when we went to reception the receptions just called the driver and we waited for one hour. The breakfast was bad and we waited hour and a half for it. Very unprofessional staff.

Very bad experience Lift was not working most of the time , light has gone for two hrs but generator did not run. Ac remote is not working. Led tv is not working. Bad smell at reception area due to pet

Not a good experience at all,most of the time lift remains off and once my family stuck in the lift,air conditioner remote not working,ceiling fan regulator is missing,led tv without set top box not working,no kitchen in the hotel premises, foul smell at reception due to pet in the hostel,etc etc

Very disappointing , there was an immense shortage of staff due to which the service was quite delayed for everything. Scarcity of water for the most part of the stay added to the disappointment.

It was really good experience to stay in Hotel Hostel Vimal Ganga. And it's hospitality service was really good.

The large yoga hall is what sold this property to me. I attended a class with Vishnu who is a superb teacher. I also did some solo practice in the hall. The staff at the hotel are fantastic, they're very attentive. The room itself has a comfortable bed, soft pillows and a small balcony. The shower wasn't very good but I'm yet to find a shower that is any good in India so far. Toilet roll wasn't provided, but soap and shampoo was. I also liked that there was a tea and coffee making facility in the room. The hotel is located in higher tapovan, it's a quarter part of tapovan which is good as its quiet at night but within walking distance of a lot of things.

My partner and I chose this hotel based on its good reviews, and we were happy with our decision. The staff were really helpful and friendly to us. The rooms looked just like the pictures, and we even got a free upgrade to a room with a nice view. Compared to other places we've stayed in India, the staff here were much more welcoming and kind to us. We want to say thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

I would like to say a lot of thanks to the people and staff at this hotel. They were very friendly and polite. The rooms are so clean. There are some rooms with a view to mountains, I really like it. Also, the hotel has the roof , where you can go up to observe mountains, for some meditation or just drink hot tea and be with your own. Thanks a lot and my recommendation!❤️

My Partner and I had a lovely stay here. It is a nice and quiet place. The staff is very very nice and make you feel so at home. Always with a smile on their face. They even have coffee and tee in the rooms you can make your self with a kettle. And not to forget the yoga shala and a nice roof top where you can also practice yoga. I highly recommend The Ajna! Next time I am back I'm Rishikesh I will be back here 100%. Thank you for making us feel so at home! 🙏🏻🤍✨

Bhupendra at reception was the highlight of my stay here. His service and hospitality was pure excellence. He spoke English very well, he was extremely attentive and caring from the moment I booked the hotel, he gave lots of suggestions on where to explore in Rishikesh and tips on how to get around and how much things should cost. He helped with my laundry and always asked if I needed my room cleaned. As a solo traveler he also made lots of effort to introduce me to other people staying at the hotel. He even went to the extent of personally dropping me to my yoga retreat in Rishikesh on his motorbike! So very grateful for him. The hotel is in upper Tapovan so it's a good 15-20 minute uphill walk from the main road/lower Tapovan, but there are lots of shops and great restaurants and cafes along the way so it didn't feel too unsafe when walking back after dark. The other man at reception was very kind and friendly too. Rooms are simple and fairly clean but hot water ran out too quickly for me so showers have to be quick! Overall a pleasant stay 😊

Excellent. The hotel is very well located in a quiet street but with everything nearby (restaurant, ayurveda center, yoga classes...). Clean room, drinking water and nice balcony. Yoga classes right in the hotel and even a yoga hall you can use for personal practice. Especially very friendly and helpful staff. I stayed almost 2 weeks and it was very great.

30 minutes walking uphill from the Ganges. Walk another hour uphill to get to secret waterfall. Basic but clean rooms. Good hot water. Receptionist doesn’t speak English but uses google translate and is friendly. Owner is available via WhatsApp and speaks great English. Owner is friendly and helpful Street view will be noisy. Mountain View a little quieter This area is noisy but so is all of Rishikesh. This area is a little quieter than other parts of Rishikesh. You will have the noises of new construction all over the city wherever you go.

Such a nice place, rooms are clean. Gayatri g was so good, always ready to assist us. Whenever he saw us, just asked if we needed some cold water and brought for us. The hotel owner was also so polite and gentle. The place is near to laxman jhula, walkable distance from Ram jhula and Parmartha ashram. Best wishes.

First of all this a couple friendly hotel. The amenities were all well working. Rooms were spacious and clean. We met a guy at the reception table named Manish, who was very friendly, prompt and professional. He was always ready to help and was very clear with his instructions. Also the hotel rents scooty to the boarders if they ask for it. They also arranges adventure sports for them if asked to do so.

The hotel manager is great. I stayed here for five days. The room was clean and comfortable. The door rattled at night so I padded it with cardboard. The neighborhood was noisy due to construction next-door. The toilet also leaked on the bathroom floor. Overall, I felt safe and clean here and was very happy with my stay.

Awesome place to stay in Rishikesh, the owner and the staff are very helpful in any aspect. The view from terrace is awesome, the Laxman jhula n its banks with 180° view is mesmerizing. Make sure to live over here without any tension n the rooms are so beautifully maintained, abundance of water supply and smell free rooms...

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The service of the staff is very good. The bathrooms are clean and hot and cold water is always available. Wi-FI is available for free and there is also a small library.The price is very reasonable and highly recommended.There is no attached restaurants, but they are available at a short distance. The staff can help in arranging vehicles for trips and adventures. Overall a very comfortable stay.

Did not like the hotel and manager was also rude...first he denied to give room and increase the charges..said not taking booking from Oyo...where I booked the tickets 1 week before I reach there..didn't get food which was included in my booking even after paying extra... And location is very far from Ram and Laxma Jhula.. And for tea also u have to travel around 1 Km. So not recommended at all

My favourite place to stay in Rishikesh. Clean, calm and comfortable rooms, good location out of city noise. In walking distance to shops, LaxmanJhula bridge, and all city attractions. Great staff ever! Will stay here again.

Stayed here for over a month from Feb to Mar. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms are clean with Wifi. The location is away from traffic on a peaceful street although the private restaurant next door plays loud music sometimes. Its an easy downhill walk to laxman jula and a quick walk uphill to stores, restaurants and rickshaws.

This hotel denies check-in after taking full payments and without giving any prior information to the customers. They claim that they don't work with third party companies like Oyo when their name and the board on the property clearly states it and the staff is very rude. Even though they claim that they don't work with any third party booking companies their hotel is listed on all major platforms. The property is located far inside a lane and you need to walk atleast a kilometre uphill to get a vehicle. Can't say about rooms and views because I didn't get to see them after making the whole payment in advance. The morons probably flipped it for much higher rate to someone and denied me and my family to check-in.

Pros: On arrival, they asked for the same price that had been announced. There is a very small % of hotels in India that would not try to overcharge you when you come. Cons: No toilet paper unless you ask for it. The water nubs are installed in a puzzling way. No room service. Laundry service is available sometimes. Randomised breakfast can be served to rooms on some days (on others it will not be available). There are no heaters in the room, and the blankets are pretty light; hence, the nights are relatively cold during the winter. Not every taxi will drive to the hotel as it is located on a very narrow and dead-end street. Uber would not even answer your requests. Several open construction yards are around, which are messy and, most importantly, so loud that you are likely to miss a knock on your room door, especially if you open a window during the day. Do not expect to have any afternoon nap.

Clean, comfortable rooms & bed. Pleasant and accommodating owner. Close to everything, yet far enough off the main road to be quiet. Nice laundry service. Great place.

It was very bad experience with Krishna Hotel. They dont have proper administration and at check-out they asked for 15000 Rs for one night stay, even though we had nothing to do with them directly.

I love the Krishna hotel! The energy was elevated, surely Krishna had something to do with that! 😉 It was cozy, comfy, very clean and had A/C and hot water! I had space for my yoga mat so I could do my personal practice! As a solo female traveller I felt safe and the staff was very kind. I stayed 7 nights and felt at home! P.S. The fairy lights were mine!

I have been extending my stay at Krishna for weeks now. You get all the basics covered here to a very reasonable price. I feel very safe here, and the street in from of the rooms is relatively quiet. The staff is very flexible, kind and helpful when you ask for things or refills. My room really feels like home by now, and I think that is a pretty good sign. Think about that the weather in Rishikesh is quite cold at times - bring warm clothes to sleep in and maybe an extra blanket. I highly recommend this accommodation, and will stay here until I leave town.

We had a wonderful stay here for 3 days in Rishikesh! The room and washroom were spotlessly clean, which made our stay very comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location was perfect—convenient and peaceful. Plus, it felt really safe since the hosts live in the same building.

The best home stay! The owners asheesh and seema so welcoming and kind! The rooms super clean and beautiful Hot shower 24/7, free wifi, rooftop +beautiful garden (and all for a very fair price compering the other home-stays in the area ☺️) The location is amazing and calming + very nice restaurants right around the corner (we recommend gossip cafe) We stayed for over a week and it felt like home! I stayed here for one night and the experience was amazing. The owners are really great and helpful and the property is very cheap compared to any other hostel/rooms out here. The rooms were spacious and very clean and you can have a garden to sit. Also bonus point in staying at this property is u get cute cafes to chill around.. I visited the pink cafe and the vibe was amazing..😄

Initially checked inn for a week in my mind but eventually I checked out after 90 days of an amazing stay. Very neat clean n brand new rooms with newly done up fittings. Hot water 24/7 , strong wi fi, regular housekeeping and the best part is the food. The owner Ashish ji & Seema Mam takes special attention to details and serves super healthy, tasty n highly hygienic meals you just fall in love with. I was lucky to find such a property n even better owners who treated me as family n I never felt I was meeting them for the first time . Very classy family of Rishikesh who runs this property as passion and not money minded. I had been offered fresh garden grown organic fruits n vegetables from the property without any commercial aspect but pure love. Ample parking space for car n bikes. In few words pure value for money with an opportunity to know this classy family who treats you so well that I bet anyone will extend their stay ... so just Staywell really well 👌🏻🙏🏻

One of the best affordable stays in Tapovan. Compared to the crowded nearby areas, this place is situated in a quieter surrounding but well connected to the main areas. The hosts are very nice and helpful.

Good comfortable hotel, clean and nice. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. Wifi is fast on average (4.5 mbits/s)but sometimes speed drops to zero. Location is perfect - on the hill (fresh air), 5 mins walking to the river.

A good and a silent place to stay. Its not a hotel so don't expect many options to eat. But if you are going to spend some time in peace away from crowd and traffic then this is the place. The host is very good and do maintain the pace very well.
