The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good. The young lady doing the breakfasts (single handedly) went above and beyond to cater for my Gluten free needs. She was so busy being the only one doing breakfast in a busy hotel yet EVERYTHING was perfect. The breakfast buffet was kept well stocked, the plates cleared promptly and she did everything with a smile, nothing was too much trouble. She is extremely hard working. I wish I knew her name, she deserves a medal (young slim girl, dark hair). The cleaning staff were also very helpful and very friendly. Only down side was the air conditioning, it was more a cool fan, the rooms were very hot.

Nice location of the hotel in the city center. Modern quarter near the old town in Wroclav. Room is smaller but big enough for few nights. Windows oriented to the loud street in our case. The room can be Air-conditioned..no more issue with the street's noise.

The location of the hotel is great of you want to explore Wrocław. It is close to the railway station and the old town. There is a large shopping mall close by, in case you want to grab some food or do some shopping. The first impression of the hotel was amazing, thanks to the friendly reception we were given at the front desk. The room was clean, functional and held everything you need for a night or two. The only two downsides were that there was no trashcan in the room itself (only in the bathroom) and that the pillows were a little soft (I know, I know, luxury problems). We could have asked for a second set of pillows, but for one night it was still sufficient. Both did not affect our stay negatively, just something to keep in mind if you are staying for a week or so. The breakfast was simple, but tasty and the price was absolutely appropriate. The entire hotel was clean, great value and staff was really friendly.

Great budget hotel. The parking is a bit expensive (70zl) but you can come and go as you wish. Worthwhile for the convenience as there is no street parking in proximity. Very nice personel at the front desk.

The experience in this hotel was bad. The pillows were more kind of a torture appliance that a resting piece. We told the receptionist about this problem and asked her to replace our pillows for common ones, but she told us that this was not possible until the next day, because she gave the available replacements to another guests that complaint about their pillows before us, so we were not able to rest the first night. I guess this hotel has a problem with the pillows. On the second day, we asked the same receptionist for two new sackets of instant coffee, and she denied our request again, it seems instant coffee is a courtesy only for the first day. I can understand this, but we had a very bad night due to horrible, unpleasant and ridiculous pillows. In my humble opinion, we deserved as many instant coffees as we wanted. We spent 8 nights in 6 different hotels in Poland, and the attention and the hotel room quality was pretty good in all hotels, but in this one. I strongly recommend to management staff replacing the weird and horrible pillows and suggesting some basic rules of customer attention to unfriendly staff at reception.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Rooms are basic, but very clean and overall it was really quiet. Prices are reflected in the room and location. Would stay again next time visiting Wroclaw.

This restaurant serves very good mashroom soup made with bread bowl. You can enjoy soup with bread as well and I liked both. Though this restaurant is not far from the airport, it is difficult to find. And this restaurant is very popular and crowded, so it is better to reserve a seat in advance.

The restaurant was okay, I went there with my friends and we liked the food, but unfortunately there is nothing vegan or even strictly vegetarian in the menu. Even pierogi are served with lard. The interior is good for hunters and tradition loving families. I wouldn't be surprised if they served whole pig with an apple in its mouth for special occasions.

Cool design, very cosy and remarkable - you'll remember it long. The food was served fast, it was fresh and delicious. My only remark is about the pork chop, which was small (the size of the palm, probably, not bigger) and thin (5 mm or so). Yet, it tasted great! For the meal and coffee I payed 47 zł. The stuff carries a lot of charisma, warmth and friendliness. So, i recommend them wholeheartedly to everybody.

Perfect place for frequent travelers-so much different from other hotels; this place has a soul, people working there are enthusiasts and an idea behind the overall design is unusual: from last centuries, rural style little rooms to modern and elegant, spacious apartments. Exceptionally clean, nice breakfast and… delicious pierogi served in the restaurant. I loved this place.

This is a wonderful place to visit (we been visiting for nearly 20 years) you really need to visit this place, the items attached to the walls can give you hours of pleasure. The ceiling in the bar area is amazing. The food served hot and reasonable quickly, a bonus here as some staff speak English to. Fancy staying for a few days - they also have a stunning amount of accommodation at this location and just up the road. Summer time cross over the road ad onto the footbridge and walk round their grounds - stunning. Update... 27/7/19 our visit was for a meal 2 adults and 2 children. The kids meals were super and tasted lovely as was our meals severed with salads - 4 clean plates at the end 10/10 finished of with a walk around their private lands across the road. This was a super place to walk plenty of change since our last walk. Beautiful lakes and plants and trees along with a range of small structures some with seating again 10/10

Great Hotel! I stayed at Stara Garbarnia twice in October of 2017. The staff was extremely nice especially Ula from the reception and Ania from the restaurant. Their hospitality was excellent. I really enjoyed both visits and since I grew up in the area I remember this building very well. I was impressed with the property renovation. Everything was nicely done and they constantly improving. I noticed that any suggestion is taken seriously under consideration. I wish I was there summer time, the grounds are lovely. The location is great, only 3 minutes walk to the main road and public transportation. Old Town is only 30 minutes away by tramway which runs every few minutes. I definitely will be back soon. Fantastic place for organising parties like a wedding ceremony. The service staff was top - very good communication, kind, professional people. The food was also very good and there was lots of it. Atmosphere at restaurant lounge was top! There is a place for DJs, dancing and five round tables - it was very well organised. I got married here and it was a fantastic venue. We were in the American Dream suite. The food was fantastic as was the service. All of my family thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. And a Polish wedding lasts a long time compared to an English wedding. We got married at 12.00 and we then kept partying until 3 or 4 in the morning. It was easy to get the tram to the venue from the centre of Wroclaw although most of my family who came for the wedding all got taxis. One aspect that was nice for the wedding is that occasionally the venue would throw in a surprise that neither me or my now wife knew they were going to do. (I won't give these away!)

Great pub with Belgian beers and cozy atmosphere, especially if you can snag the table in the front window. Owners/couple are super friendly and have been running this pub since the 90's. Patio is great for a quick getaway from the bustle of the square.

Have been here many times, couple of tens I believe. All was fine, beer, atmosphere, music. But just had a terrible experience. It's not probably a place to blame, but still, would like to pay attention. One of "guests", I don't know how to name correctly, beat a small dog with a leg. Dog was in the bar, just laying on the floor and doing nothing, sleeping under the owners chair. But this drunk beast attacked it for no reason, and was served with a next pint. Owner, small young lady, could do nothing. But, also no actions by a bartender were taken. At least i would expect some notice, that it's not allowed, not under the bar rules or anything else. Probably it's polish laws, and they just obey. But I hardly believe I can recommend a place, were such actions accepted, and such guests appear and will think a lot to arrive again. As a Belgian beer lover, this is absolutely a great place to enjoy one of Belgium's best beers, or to have a sip of a really good choice of whiskeys. The place has a really chill and calm atmosphere, the rock music is really faint so you can focus on your conversations with your friends. You get your beers at the bar, the bar tender is very nice. Maybe not suitable for large groups, because the seating is cosy and intimate, but allows for meeting new people as we did on the two occasions we were there.

The location is okay, it's near the centre, and breakfast is decent. There is no elevator, neither the boy on reception even offered to help me with my suitcase when I checked out. There were no shower gel in my room. They didn't cleaned the room for the 5 days that I stayed there. Honestly I don't get it why this stay have 4 stars. For the same price you could find a better hotel.

The worst experience with a hotel ever. I came on a business trip to a facility that has "Business Center" in its name, but the internet was not working. With a series of staff visits to my room, a solution was finally found (internet via cable and not wifi). The rooms are old and the beds are uncomfortable. At the same time, the hotel hosted a children's excursion. The children were very noisy, they screamed, ran, and played football, the whole room vibrated with noise. A person can neither work nor rest there, nor be in the room, it is terribly stressful when you are there on business trip and you cannot prepare for work. The staff did not want to silence them or call their teachers who were located on the other floor. I managed to check out and return the entire amount of money, which was at least the one decent thing. In Wroclaw it is possible to find much better hotels for the same money.

Phenomenal stay, this hotel is the best bang for your buck especially the triple room. Comfortable beds, spacious with huge ceilings, staff are friendly and don’t annoy you, breakfast is great with real eggs (not powdered), top notch !

Stayed for 4 nights with my daughter. Rooms are simple but spotlessly clean. Great bathroom with toiletries. Plenty of storage space. Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with a very good choice. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Unlimited tea and coffee (from machines situated around the building) for guests. Overall a great experience for a very reasonable rate.

Me and my friends had a really great time. Everything is clean, the rooms are big, the beds cozy and the breakfast is tasty. Also the view is quite something if you're lucky enough to get a room on the river side. The only thing was that the rooms are a bit sound sensitive and we could hear our neighbours talking. Since I'm not bothered by something like that everything was great.

I was here yesterday, it wasn't really hard to locate the place but if you are staying in Wrocław, it'll probably take you 25 mins to be there. There are no elevators but the building isnt that tall, only until second floor. The Bathroom was clean and the bed too. THey have a huge smart TV and free Wifi access. They also have a kitchen and a parking space. However, we were awaken by a noisy roommate in the early morning.

My husband and I took a trip to explore Wroclaw. I picked this hotel based off the amenities and location. The price of the hotel was very reasonable I couldn't believe it for it to be a 5 star hotel. The staff were so nice and prompt with everything I asked. The room was clean and the view was pretty. The decor in the room was very modern. I received a spa treatment during our 3 day stay which was also great. After I relaxed and enjoyed the other rooms on the spa floor. We even stopped by the garden cafe they had and chilled for a while. My husband and I were blown away by our experience, definitely 5 stars. I would visit again or even try other hotels they may have.

The bed was the comfiest bed I've ever slept on. The room was very tech savvy and I overlooked a gorgeous building. The wellness area was on the top floor and overlooked the city, lots of plants and light! Two saunas and a steam room. Plenty of beds to lie on after. We unfortunately missed out on the rooftop bar (open wed-saturday). It was really lovely getting to walk past the Cathedral every day! Beautiful stroll into the centre!

A great place to stay in central Wrocław. Parking is limited and must be reserved in advance but if your car is under 1.9m tall you can park at the National Philarmonic for 40 zł/day.

This is like a few nitpicks, the biggest one is that pancakes weren't edible... scrambled eggs are weird, but that's like the whole country thing. Croissants were cut in half for some reason, but very good. Location is great, service is good and the value for money is excellent. The TV in the room is brilliant, if you are not old enough you'll wonder what it is..and yes, it is a TV set and it was that small in the ancient times. Great piece of history. I'm not writing that as a criticism, nobody watches the TV nowadays, right?

You can ask for extras – for us, it was more toast and jam, no sausage, which they adjusted the next day without issue. Shops like Aldi nearby, but restaurant variety in walking distance is limited. We paid around 220 Zloty/night plus 10 Zloty for parking – about €54 per night total for two, including breakfast and parking. We booked directly via their website (prepaid).
