Hello friends, yesterday I had a great stay in NH Hotel, Potsdam. The rooms are beautiful, window view is pretty. The hotel also provided a welcome fruit bowl in the room. I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly and the rooms were really good except the missing sockets for chargers. Besides that everything was good in the room. Loved the mini refrigerator. The gym was on the rooftop with a good view. The equipment were stationary bike, treadmill, rowing maschine that was broken the whole week and one multi funktion station. Towls and disinfectant were there. Even while a mini fridge was there I was missing the water fountain! You got a key card for the gym but still there were opening hours and honestly I hated that. Now it's getting pretty dark in the morning so using the gym would be beneficial...more so for women. This time I didn't have breakfast. What I also hated were the parking prices. Yes it was easy to find and go to and yes, it was locked at night and in a safe space, the car I mean but still the price was horrendous high. The location is superb. The most of the top ten sights are reachable by foot. Besides the opening hours of the gym or the price for parking I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel at any time.

It was ok, we were here with family. I didn’t like the fact that i have to pay in order to use the pool, but no complaints here - I knew it when we booked and I don’t hold it against the hotel. The location is 15 minutes walk from old city center, not too bad, but not in the center. The room was a wee bit old, it was clean with spacious bathroom but it lacked coffee or tee maker. Breakfast was very good. Generally speaking it is a good hotel for conventions but average for family vacation.

PROs: Clean rooms, sheets, towels. Great water pressure with perfect hot water. There is a fridge (empty), no kettle. Even it is located nearby the road, pretty good sound isolation. CONs: Stayed in the middle of January, -2 outside. Quickly found out that AC didn't work. Informed the reception, immediately checked by house keeping, and ended up with a small portable heater which cannot be able to heat the whole room instead of a room change. Room service is there, but it isn't. You need to order and go down to pick your order.

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. First, the cleanliness was below standard—the toilet and bathroom were not properly cleaned, which was very off-putting. Very neat budget hotel in a good location (just a few steps from the train station). The city centre is an easy 20-minute walk away. Rooms are accessed via a numerical code, making check-in quick and easy. Those familiar with the B&B chain will be neither disappointed nor surprised by the facilities. A good alternative for those who have had enough of Berlin's grime and unfriendliness or are simply looking for a little more peace and quiet.

Great place to stay. Used the newly installed wallboxes to charge electric vehicle over night. The close by train station / shopping area provided food and supplies. Rooms were standard. Breakfast was good! Met all expectations as usually!

Nice hotel for a night stay after driving from southern Germany towards Denmark. You can self checkin and out. Doors and parking are using a supplied 6-digit code and that worked flawlessly. Breakfast buffet was okay. No warm items, but bread, cheese, jams, coffee/the, yoghurt with toppings. No resturants on site but there are options in within walking distance. We had a 4-person room with a bunkbed and a doublebed. Nice and clean. Plenty of towels and nice bathroom. Short walking distance to Alter Marks with sites, Alte Farth river and Nuthe-Park.

Convenient location next to the train station for our family with teenagers. Clean and modern facility. Rooms were laid out efficiently. Best hotel pillows I have ever encountered during my travels. Cost was reasonable for the quality of the facility. Overall a good value. Pp

I arrived there for one night and with a car. I could easily park underneath for a price and the room was really nice. The staff is helpful and friendly and I can only recommend staying there! Breakfast was also delicious and rich. One thing to feedback, at night the AC wasn’t working as well as it did during the day and as a pregnant woman I could hardly sleep during the heatwave.

I had very lovely stay here. It started with flawless online check-in and ended with instant checkout (invoice was ready). The location is ideal for city center walks and sightseeings. There are plenty od restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well soundproofed. I also liked the smell of the room parfume. Beds were comfortable, pillows soft and flat, but there is an option to get new ones. The only missing thing was tea and coffee service. Minibar is available. The dinning are and reception is cozy and designed in nice and stylish architecture. The brekfasts were rich and delicious. The staff was professional and friendly. Recommended 👍🏻

The room was average and you can hear the neighbours very clear. I gave 3 points for the hotel. This is meant in the meaning of average. But please get me right: The hotel itselves is located just in the heart of Potsdam. Which means it is just the perfect starting place to discover the city. The breakfast was very good and I liked the style of it very much. It had a bit the appearance of an old Jazz Club. Independently that my rating was not about 4 or 5 points the place is worth to be visited. Just because of its location. In addition to that the employees were very kind and the price was good. Overall decent hotel but the wifi was so slow you couldn't even load in an email, the room was filthy (Literally a layer of dust sat under the bed) the parking is troublesome, and the breakfast was almost empty when we came down ( even though we had over an hour and a half left till the end). Even though this hotel is a bit off of the beaten path, in that it's not as close to the old town, it's incredibly convenient and in walking distance to Sanssouci Palace. They have a small sauna area, and breathtaking views of Potsdam from their gardens. Breakfast is also amazing, with a plethora of options and local dishes. I wish I had stayed here another night for the breakfast alone! The only real downside was that our rooms were on the third floor and there is no elevator to bring your suitcases up. While staff was available to help bring our suitcases up to the room, they were unable to help us bring them down, which meant that I was lugging heavy suitcases down three winding sets of stairs.

Staff were welcoming and warm-hearted. Location was perfect. Breakfast buffet was awesome, like that of a four star. The well-maintained villa was tastefully decorated, charming and elegant. Best of all, guests could rest in the garden chairs, enjoying the quiet and idyllic atmosphere.

Perfect for us as an overnight stay as we arrived late into Berlin airport on our way to visit Buchenwald the following day. Rooms are very hot as there’s no air conditioning. Breakfast was good. We didn’t use any of the facilities so can’t comment on those.

To all breastfeeding mothers I would say, avoid this hotel. We were staying one night here on our way to our holiday destination. Overnight I asked them to put 2 bag of breastmilk and cooling elements in the freezer. The next morning when I wanted to pick it up and continue our journey, they had lost everything. I stayed here in a standard room for 2 nights. Hotel is in remote location , far from public transport or taxi. You better own or rent a car to come here. The rooms were extremely hot ( as my friends were staying in other rooms) in summer with no ventilation system and almost impossible to have a good night's sleep. The food is good. The staff are not very friendly and they don't even have any shuttle to connect the city. Bathroom is not properly cleaned and towels were not changed even when I specifically asked for them.

There is no food to chose and it looks very bad. At 3rd day of our stay it was disqusting, nobody cleaned around buffe, and it looked like not fresh at all. Is it really 4 star? Dinner was also unpleasant. Stuff mostly was doing nothing and after promise of high service and wines I was hoping at lease they would be more friendly. They totally ignored us and after long time finally somebody came and act like nothing happened. Room was dirty from the start, hotel ignore request about fixing already broken stuff (like cooling system, which is a joke ina hot summer!!!), and all of inside hotel is dusty, dirty and with spiders. I was shocked. Wellness area is small and noisy, if somebody count for nice relax can go away asap. Kids keep on screaming and there is no private corner to even run away and hide. Only location is good. But we dont apprecate it since its tempting tourist and give them rollercoster ride. As guest we expect at least decenty and for this prices its just hillarious. We should be payed back but of course nobody wanted to help us with it saying there is no refunds. We book for one week, left after three days. We were patient too much anyways. Please avoid place.

We came for the second time having in mind its a kids friendly hotel (since there is a kids club…) however its not really kids friendly and one is very fast overwhelmed by the senior age groups guests. The hotel does not offer any days lunch - they tell you to drive away (!?) after some arguments luckily they made us chicken & fries.. but come on for the price one pays we could expect way better service. They also lack flexibility for the restaurant schedule, everyone is rushing to eat at 6pm making it very busy and noisy. If you ask for milk for the bottle of your kids, the staff will be « punished » by their supervisor. If it’s bad weather overall the hotel doesn’t have much to offer. A tiny kids club room. If it’s good weather I suggest going early to the pool to avoid the crowded guest arriving later & then go to the lake beach further down. Overall it’s too expensive for what the hotel offers. Not very well organised on those « busy » WE (Pfingsten) they shouldn’t try to reach high capacity if they can’t keep up..

A very nice stay, tasty food, friendly staff, dogs were welcome. The only complaint is the gym, is rather randomly and poorly equipped.

This being our fourth time at this resort, we have nothing but the best experience one can wish for. Pure relaxation and amazing ambience, combined with friendly staff and high quality services give an unmatched holiday feeling. They are extremely family friendly with activities for children to indulge in. There is a kids area with lots of kids stuff for different age groups and some lovely rabbits that kids watch and feed. They offer an amazing breakfast and quality dinner with nice views. We get to enjoy the two pools, different saunas, meditation room and a gym at no extra cost. They also have sunbeds at the beautiful lake "beach" side.

The hotel location and vibe are great! Really cute room interior. Breakfast was always same but really descent! Liked the saunas and warm water in the pool. Some feedback for improvements: facilities (especially showers) really need some renovation, the curtains in the room had few stains, also would be great to place "no photo" sign in the pool as there were some weird parents taking "great" pics of their swimming children and guests were obviously also on those images, I do not want to be on a videos of those weirdos. So total image ban in the swimming place would be great for guest respect. Otherwise a very nice hotel for a weekend trip!

2 nights from 18/7-23 I got a good sized standard room with double bed, shower, airconditioning, fridge and WIFI. All, except airconditioning, worked perfectly. Airconditioning is not cooling, but just blowing air. I had to sleep with open windows and I could see the other rooms had to do the same. There is a road just outside, so that gives some noise from cars in the night, but I slept fine. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Hotel got free parking. No restaurent. You can buy drinks in the reception and there is tables outside. Reccommended!

The mattresses were completely saggy, the pillows way too soft and thin, the cleanliness was very questionable and the furniture worn and dusty (not for people with allergies!). Water pressure and temperature varied depending on the time of the day...I could go on like this. The staff was nice and helpful though and the price on the lower end of the scale. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

By accident I booked the overnight stay with my family for one week to late on a rate that is usually not cancellable. After talking the the agency where i booked the hotel they told me to pay the full price and then book again for the full price. I called the hotel directly and spoke to a very friendly lady that let ma change the date based on goodwill, as I had notices my mistake immediately. This I call good customer service and a good start into the vacation even though it was my fault. Thank you very much! I will update the review once I was there.

We had a nice 4-day stay in this hotel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Our bathroom was clean (enough), so no bad comment on that. Breakfast is good and offers enough choice. They just might add some lactose free dairy! It takes a five minute walk to railway station Park Sansccouci and bus number 695 stops right at the entrance of the hotel. At the reception you can buy bus tickets for Berlin (ABC) and Potsdam (AB). There is also a vending machine at railway station Park Sanssouci for both tickets. At the machine you can pay with card, at the reception in the hotel they only accept cash for the tickets.

My wife and I spent several days here visiting from B.C in Canada. Location was excellent, bus in front of the hotel and train to Berlin a 5 minute walk. Rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection that could't disappoint. We found the best part of this hotel is it's staff. We always stay at Pension Zeitlos when visiting Potsdam, a very convenient location, comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Highly recommended if you are looking for a small guest house providing comfortable accommodation and excellent access to public transport.

Rude staff, additional payment than agreed (price agreed through Booking.com), no breakfast available on Monday morning 27 November 2023, without prior notice. The place was quiet and nice, far from the center, there was no public transport nearby, the room was ok. I won't be going back there.

Nice location in the outern part of potsdam, it's actually perfect to relax as there is really nothing around it and silence can be your companion at night. It does not get 5 stars cause we asked for a double bed but we got 2 beds attached with 2 mattraces and with a little empty space between them.

Regarding the sound, this can be both pro and con. Since the building is in a very quiet street, it is really really quiet. But since the walls are not thick or the doors have so many gaps, you can easily hear your next door snoring in your room. Cons: - Rooms: Rooms are old. Romantic little hotel with uniquely and ingeniously designed rooms right in the heart of the beautiful "holländer Viertel" of Potsdam. Each room has a little kitchenette and there is a large communal kitchen & dining area which can be used. Most rooms surround a beautifully decorated court yard and are therefore super quiet. Everything is spotless clean.

Nice hotel with comfy apartments which really feel like a normal apartment and not a hotel. Also nice idea to put the guests names next to the door, so it really looks and feels like an apartment. Also the service at the reception was very friendly and the location is great. What I didn't like was the extremely complicated light switches in all rooms. We couldn't figure out how they work correctly till the end. Also I prefer to have shampoo and shower gel provided by the hotel, which won't be provided here. The two extra beds which we had were also kind of too hard. I wanted to give 4 Stars but the very positive experience with the reception lady needs to be honored after we had some problems with the invoice and she was also nice enough to take a picture of our group. So room for improvement but a nice stay. :)
