Phoenix Art Museum is a must-visit destination in the Southwest United States, featuring an extensive collection of international art spanning from ancient times to contemporary pieces. Housed in a remarkable Modernist building, partially designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the museum boasts over 20,000 works of art, including masterpieces by renowned artists such as Diego Rivera, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Frida Kahlo. Visitors can also enjoy traveling exhibits and explore the popular Thorne Miniature Rooms.
We visited on a Wednesday to take advantage of the pay what you want/donation entry cost which is a nice setup from 3 to 8 p.m. We enjoyed our time browsing the varied art works on the second floor, spending a little over an hour to view the majority of the pieces up there. Will have to make another trip to view the other areas within the museum though. A very interesting trip, even for someone who’s not a big museum fan.

Extraordinary museum. Their collections are excellent! There's something for everyone here. We spent a long time chatting with docent Alice in the Baroque exhibit. I learned so much. It was a fascinating conversation. All the employees and volunteers here are friendly. The gift shop is fun, too. The girl at the ticketing desk was informative about the museum's layout and contents. She was so smiley and happy. I had a great time. Free lockers available to store your personal items, such as water bottles.

So many interesting exhibits! Anna Sui is featured now and it was so impressive to see her unique, artistic style in the many examples of her clothing designs! Worthy of a visit just for this. After this fun and entertaining showing, we made our way to a serious, thought provoking exhibit on immigration. Don't miss the sheer panels imprinted with the names of the people who did not make it across the desert from Mexico to the US! Helps to make you realize every name listed was a real living, breathing, person just trying to get somewhere better to live and prosper... Add in all of the other halls with more art representing all different media and you have a great place to spend a few hours on a hot summer day in Phoenix!
Donald M — Google review
The building itself is an architectural treat to enjoy. The collection is varied with some interesting items, but it also seems small compared to other art museums its size. We also did not find what was offered to be as compelling as other exhibitions. Overall, still glad we came and enjoyed what was there.
The T — Google review
Wow. The Anna Sui exhibit was absolutely fascinating. If you’re into fashion, I highly recommend visiting this exhibit in the Phoenix Art Museum before it is done in September. The wings of this museum are gorgeous. I really enjoyed the photo gallery on the top floor and the Anna Sui fashion exhibit. The presence of these exhibits really set the phoenix art museum apart from other art museums I’ve visited. Great place for an afternoon with family or friends; also ideal to escape the sun and enjoy art from various eras ✨
Sara R — Google review
Something for everyone. Very diverse collection of art. Lots of space as to not feel you're in the way of others, and vice versa. Wednesdays after 3 pm are pay what you wish/can, or even free, so if you're short on money, you can still enjoy beautiful works of art.
Caroling G — Google review
Don’t compare this place with some of the best museums in the world or in the US or you will be disappointed. There aren’t many if any “famous” masterpieces in here but don’t let that stop you from enjoying the exhibits, installations, and the work they do have. You can probably see everything in under 2 hours.
TheDSsucks — Google review
Have been here several times over the years and I really appreciate the main collection. The collection of American art, specifically the art of the southwest, is inspiring. The special exhibitions are usually always good too. I have wanted to see Avedon's work in person for years and was thrilled when they recently brought some of his images to the museum. I loved the Anna Sui exhibition and their focus on fashion has been evident over the years... it's a fun time. Worth the drive from east mesa.

Nestled in a charming redbrick cottage, The Farish House is a delightful bistro that beautifully marries Mediterranean and French cuisine. This historic gem, built in 1899 and listed on the Phoenix Historic Property Register, has witnessed many stories unfold within its walls. Originally a family home for notable residents like Howard Cassidy and William A. Farish, it now serves as an inviting dining destination perfect for romantic evenings or casual gatherings.
I found Farish House after researching restaurants near downtown as we had tickets to a Comedy Show the same night. We were about 20 minutes early for our reservation but got seated immediately which was awesome. We had a new queso dip they had just added to the menu the day before, and we split the pork chop entree as well as sides of broccoli and mac & cheese. Everything was delicious! The pork chops was tender, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. We also had the blackberry smash cocktail. Service was great. The quiet atmosphere and eclectic decor were exactly what I was hoping for. Besides one very loud obnoxious group in the next room who must have thought they were at Texas Roadhouse, it was perfect. We will definitely be back to try more of the divine menu!

Worth the money. I visited with my partner while we were vacationing in Arizona. Oh my god the afternoon tea was to die for!! If you love high quality tea and dining like it's Victorian era you'll LOVE this place. I believe my server's name for the afternoon tea was Morgan? She was wonderful and kept filling our ever vanishing ramekin of sugar cubes. Whenever we finished the finger sandwiches both my partner and I sat there wishing for more, then Morgan came back with another plate of sandwiches for us! The scones were the softest I've ever had, the butter and raspberry jam complimented both perfectly. We came back later in the day for dinner and it was the same fabulous treatment as the early afternoon. I ordered the filet, but loved the potatoes the most 🤣 Our server gave us a tiramasu on the house since it was my birthday. I will absolutely be planning to visit here everytime I'm in Arizona, especially for the afternoon tea!!

We were looking for some fun and unique place to take my daughter for her birthday, and this place was perfect! The setting and atmosphere of this place can't be beat, right in the heart of downtown nestled amongst skyscrapers sits this old historic house. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. We started with some cocktails, which they have quite an extensive list of. Then we ordered the bacon wrapped, chorizo stuffed dates; to die for!! I ordered the braised short ribs and both my wife and daughter ordered the sea bass. All were tender and delicious! Finally we capped off the evening with the tiramisu, yum!

What a nice little spot. The atmosphere is so relaxing and homey. There is a beautiful outdoor area and inside is unique as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. 5 Stars We have been to many steakhouses and this was the most well cooked steak we have had. From the sear, to the sauce, and the perfect cook, it was delicious. The Green Beans were so fresh and had a great but subtle crunch. The garlic and bacon worked perfectly. What a fantastic Tiramisu. So light and amazing flavors. I loved the blueberries as it added a freshness and another layer of flavors. The dates were cooked perfectly. Great balance of flavor and a delicious sauce. The Le Mac was one of the best Macs we have had at any restaurant. It wasn’t too heavy and was a perfect amount of creamy. The Knickerbocker drink was absolutely amazing. The raspberry puree really shined through. The Espresso Martini was a perfect after dinner drink. Very well balanced. The Rosemary Lemon Drop was delicious. The addition of the rosemary took this to another level. 4 Stars - The pork belly had great flavor! I just prefer my pork belly crispy. If they would broil these for 1-2 minutes it would be amazing! The fingerling potatoes were very well seasoned and yummy. Again, we prefer them a little more crispy. The Sweet Potatoes were simplistic and simple. Well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The asparagus was fresh and for as large as they were, held together well and weren’t flimsy. They were a little lacking in seasoning but overall good. We will definitely be back to try the short ribs and sea bass! 4**** = Set themselves a part with quality food and I want to go back. 5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there!
Brandon P — Google review
Pricey, but very good. It is in a very old house remade into a restaurant, and it is very cute and small. The date appetizer we could have skipped, but the carrot salad with beets was amazing, we just wanted a little bit more cheese. The cherry duck on a bed of parsnips with asparagus was fantastic. Cherries balanced the flavors well, not too sweet. Short ribs were also super rich and delicious with mashed potatoes.
Jenna L — Google review
What a charming restaurant. I love how they kept the rooms divided, as it was in the 1920’s. The parlor was darling and the dining room was perfect for an intimate dinner. The decor took me back to a bygone era. The service was fantastic. We shared the dates, which were delicious, just needed a touch of salt or citrus to balance the dish better. I ordered the filet. Perfectly cooked—medium rare. But, the sauce was on the sweet side and really needed an acid to even it out. I did ask for salt and pepper for the entree which helped. But, not enough. I’d rather have it without the sauce next time. Maybe with a side of raw horseradish. The fingerling potatoes were perfectly cooked as was the asparagus. I’ll definitely come here again.
Jennifer B — Google review
Excellent meal. I arrived kind of early, killing time before a show. Had a pretty good old fashioned (though it was made with rye whiskey, not bourbon the way god intended lol). Had the lasagna- it was really good! Portion size was just right and then dessert: tiramisu! I’m picky about tiramisu and, that said, this was one of the best ones I’ve had. They put a little twist on it by topping it with half-a-dozen blueberries— just enough to add some flavor without taking away from the flavor of the dish itself! I recommend checking this place out if you’re in Phoenix!
Nic B — Google review
What an exquisite experience. The staff is amazingly friendly. The service was spot on. From great dining suggestions to the perfect amount of small talk, the environment is comforting and welcoming. There wasn’t a dish that came to the table that wasn’t delicious. From the appetizers like the dates and the pate, to the braised short rib, scallops and the duck, we enjoyed everything. I highly recommend tapas style dining (if your party is willing to share their dishes) so you can try more items. We finished with the peach pie and the tiramisu. Both excellent, but the pie took the cake. They managed to make the crust very crispy while still somehow melting in your mouth. Just amazing! This is a must if you’re in Phoenix.

The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is a modern and elegant property that offers upscale dining, multiple outdoor pools, a luxurious spa, and a fitness center. Despite being relatively young compared to other nearby resorts, this North Scottsdale gem boasts beautiful Mexican colonial-style architecture set on 65 acres of scenic land. The resort is bustling with activities for all ages, making it a popular choice for family gatherings and special events like weddings.
I cannot say enough amazing things about my stay at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess — this resort truly deserves more than five stars! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay perfect. The property itself is breathtaking — beautifully maintained grounds, sparkling pools, and an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and relaxing. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with every detail in mind. I especially loved waking up to the gorgeous desert views right outside my window! The dining options are another highlight. Whether you want a casual poolside bite or a fine-dining experience, every meal we had was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, and the quality of the food was exceptional. The resort also offers so many activities — from the incredible spa and world-class golf to family-friendly events and seasonal celebrations. It’s the perfect getaway whether you’re looking to relax, be adventurous, or enjoy a little of both. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning my next visit. If you’re considering a stay at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, don’t hesitate — it’s worth it a million times over!

Spacious, comfortable rooms with everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was stunning—wall-to-wall marble and beautifully maintained. I loved the large patio and the thoughtfully decorated spaces throughout the property. Everything was spotless and well cared for. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and it was great to see all the shops open and lively. The spa was a highlight, especially the gorgeous rooftop pool with food and drink service. An unforgettable stay—11 out of 10!
Dave B — Google review
The rooms were spacious, the balcony a nice amenity, though mine overlooked the parking lot. The bathroom was large, well appointed, and clean. The walls were thick and so the rooms were quiet. My AC was not calibrated; even when set at 75F it was actually stuck at 64F. That made for a cold night of disrupted sleep. I called it in the next morning and was told maintenance would arrive within 30 minutes. I called back after almost 90 minutes and then finally a team showed up. They did fix the problem at that point rather quickly. The grounds were quite attractive, a bit of an oasis in the desert. We got rain for the 4 days of my stay and the hotel drainage was not equipped to keep it from pooling: outside my room so that I had to walk through 2 inches of water to enter; outside the gym so that I had to walk through 3 inches of water to head back to my room; other places as well. The amount of rain was minimal for this kind of drainage problem. The gym was fine, but not comparable to the size or options of other 5 Star hotels I have stayed at in the US and abroad.
Jason B — Google review
Went here for a conference. Wonderful experience. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The room service is prompt. The pool is wonderful. And the gym is very good for a hotel gym. Only negative is that it is rather far from PHX airport so the uber ride from the airport to the hotel at 10pm is pretty pricey, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.
Will H — Google review
I was at the Fairmont for a short period and had an amazing guest experience. EVERY staff member I came across took the time to speak with me, welcome me to the hotel, welcome me to the area, ask about my stay, not a quick hello with their head down, a conversation. It was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, it made my experience so much better. I travel a lot and even at the nicest hotels and resorts, this is not always the case. The rooms and grounds were beautiful. There are several areas to take advantage of - pools, gardens, pathways. I would come back and recommend to others. Keep it up Fairmont! Amazing!

We recently spent 2 nights at Privado, and it was absolutely wonderful. We truly appreciated the spacious comfort of our studio — beautifully designed and ideal for a relaxing getaway. The staff throughout the resort was fantastic, from check-in to dining and beyond. We especially loved dinner at Toro — both the food and service were phenomenal! The spa is beautiful, and if you love golf, the hotel is a perfect combination of wellness and sport. Privado really offers something for everyone, and we can’t wait to return.

We went to the Pumpkin Fest at the Fairmont Princess and it was absolutely amazing! We got a table with the fire pits, which made the whole night so cozy and aesthetic. The vibes were perfect — great drinks, great service, and such a fun atmosphere. Everything felt so well done and festive. I’ll definitely be going back next year! 🎃✨

Sydney, Tara, Samantha, and Andrew were absolutely fantastic to work with. They regularly went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I during our visit. They were pleasant, courteous, professional, and personable. The service with them is the best I’ve experienced so far in my time visiting and staying at the Princess for the last several years (my kids always enjoyed the holiday events they put on). The folks working the stores were also very friendly including Julie who we saw multiple times. The customer service we experienced makes us look forward to our next visit, although I do miss the gentlemen, Jeff, who used to visit the resort with his Falcon some years ago. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are fantastic, pools in excellent shape, it’s a gem who’s customer service sets it a part from the rest of Scottsdale.

The Clarendon Hotel and Spa is a chic 18+ only hotel in Phoenix, offering sleek accommodations with a rooftop deck, Mexican restaurant, spa, and outdoor pool. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the city skyline from the Rooftop Sky Deck and relax at the Clarendon's Oasis Pool featuring a stunning 60-foot glass water wall. The hotel also boasts poolside cabanas and a 50-person HydroSpa.
Easily my new favorite. The pool is actually heated! 75 degree water on a 100 degree day is like a small taste of Heaven! It’s like an oasis inside with vines along one of the walls next to the cabanas, the other wall is glass with water running down so it looks like a waterfall wall!! It’s beautiful. The rooms are decorated differently, there’s a small free breakfast with coffee, muffins and oatmeal. A rooftop lounge which I didn’t get to see but the string lights along the top gave the whole place this beautiful glow. Absolutely best hotel I may have ever been to. The customer service was excellent as well 👍

Beware: NOT a 4-star hotel I truly don’t understand how this place could possibly qualify as a 4-star hotel. This was advertised as newly renovated, but the quality of our room was disgusting and cringe. There were pubes on the toilet upon our arrival, and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. Then the absolute shoddy craftsmanship—this hotel obviously does not care about maintenance for damage or wear and tear. There was also minimal lighting. Didn’t get my room serviced during my stay. The onsite restaurant was closed. Overall, it felt like a legit cheap motel, not anything close to a 4-star hotel. The worst stay experience of my life. I couldn’t have been happier to leave and I took the longest shower when I got home.
Victoria E — Google review
We stayed one night. Had to change rooms because the ac wasn’t cooling at all. The rooms felt dark and like people go there to use. I wouldn’t bring my family here if I had kids. We left as early as possible and didn’t even shower there. The people how work there were nice and accommodated our request to move rooms. So I was grateful for that. But there loud blaring music outside the whole place. Not peaceful at all. The parking lot was not accessible easily from the hotel, you have to go all the way around to the front entrance. It’s also open and doesn’t seem too secure. I definitely would not rebook this place. Pay a little more and go somewhere else. 6 am there were odd people just handing out in the lobby going in and out from the parking lot. This place is not it.
Raquel F — Google review
My stay at The Clarendon Hotel was average. While I appreciated the hardwood floors, the property overall felt outdated, with chipping paint and signs of wear throughout. The shower and tub were not well-maintained, with some visible mold and a wall-mounted conditioner bottle without a pump with leftover hair from previous guests winded around it. Towels had minor stains, and the beds were quite low to the floor. The room layout was unusual, with two queen beds and a separate living area that included a TV, lamp, and couch, which felt awkwardly arranged. The television did not function optimally. The hotel also seemed largely unstaffed or empty during my stay, which contributed to a sense of isolation. Parking is located at the rear of the property, and with only one entrance, it was inconvenient to transport luggage. While the stay was not unpleasant, the hotel would benefit from updates and improved maintenance.
Marieda V — Google review
The staff were friendly, rooms cleanly, and other guests were also pretty chill. I went through visit a friend and didn't know the rooms are sound proof. It was so quiet. At least around us 😜 lol. Overall great experience and I can't wait to go back 🤭.
Chris F — Google review
had high hopes for this hotel based on the reviews it being classified as a four star hotel. The front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful, but immediately told us the restaurant was closed for the summer. The lobby smelled dirty and the floors were sticky. The elevator’s mural was peeling and there was something spilled on the floor. The carpet in the breezeway was pulling up and paint chipped from the exterior wall as well. The pool was extremely dirty to the point that we thought it could have chips in the plaster, but upon looking further, it was dirt and belongings. When we got to our room, the door didn’t appear to be completely shut and we could barely open it. It appeared to have been kicked in at one time. The odor in the room was so bad. It smelled like filth covered up in cleaner. The floors were sticky and the bed and couch had dirt and debris on it. There were pubic hairs on the bathtub ledge and the bed platform. We ended up checking right back out and went to another hotel down the street.
L C — Google review
The pool is gorgeous. Beds were very comfortable, and an extra star is given because the hotel gives shampoo, body wash, AND conditioner to guests. However, the off-season "breakfast" is little more than a coffee machine, cereal, and muffins. The shower could also be nicer - the head did not give a nice stream of water and the faucet itself was a confusing, 90s-style radial dial to turn on. Difficult to control cool and hot water but overall fine.
Miranda V — Google review
A little bit older of a hotel but they’re currently undergoing renovation. Candace and Amanda were the kindest people I’ve ever worked with, they go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy and comfortable. They are seriously major assets to this hotel and I hope get paid decently!

The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort in Scottsdale, offers upscale amenities including free Wi-Fi, tennis courts, pools, a spa, and a golf course. The resort is also home to the sophisticated J&G Steakhouse known for its steakhouse classics.
Where do I even start?! From the moment we arrived, The Phoenician delivered an unforgettable experience of luxury, ease, and pure indulgence. Every single detail... from the breathtaking views of Camelback Mountain to the impeccably designed rooms... made this birthday getaway feel like a true oasis in the desert. The property itself is immaculate; modern elegance with a classic touch. The grounds are perfectly maintained, the pools are serene and photo-worthy, and the spa? Absolutely divine. I spent hours unwinding at the rooftop spa pool, and I can honestly say I left floating. But what really made this stay exceptional was the service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful...from valet to concierge to the poolside attendants. They didn’t just meet expectations, they anticipated our needs. One staff member even gave us spot-on recommendations for local restaurants and lounges that ended up being highlights of our trip. This hotel understands the meaning of true hospitality. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just in need of a luxurious escape, The Phoenician will wrap you in comfort, class, and a kind of care that’s hard to put into words. I can't wait to return. Consider this my official love letter to The Phoenician.

Very good but not 5 star. We arrived early at 10:30 and were able to get into our rooms upon arrival. That is always a plus, the downside was it didn’t appear the room was fully prepared for the new guest as there were half empty water bottles that greeted us on the table and a funky stain on the chaise lounge (pic included). The room was large, but felt a bit dated. A surprise for us was the bidet in the bathroom, not common in American hotels. My wife had a facial at the spa and I played the golf course on site. Both were good, just not 5 star good. Dinner was also on site at the Tavern the first night and that experience was 5 star. During our stay we had breakfast in the room and at Mowry and Cotton and those meals and service were 5 star. Accommodations at the pool were a bit strange to have cushioned lounge chairs at the family pool but not at the adult only pool. Hence, most couples even without children went to the family pool. In regards to the cushions on the lounge chairs, they were filthy and strained. I would never lay on one with out a towel. See pictures attached. The Phoenician needs to invest in new pool seating and side tables as many were damaged. Service at the pool was a 3 at best our first few days, but a 5 on our last day with John providing great service poolside. The Phoenician is a very good option for a stay in the area, just not a 5 star experience.

Stayed at the Canyon Suites, which are phenomenal. You get access to the Phoenician facilities. Overall, it’s pretty good. The pool food the first day was awesome. Ordered the same thing the next, and found an unwelcomed surprise. A piece of long metal wire in the green salsa. I put it in my mouth but thankfully spit it out quickly. The server took it back and didn’t charge, but no management acknowledgment or anything. This could have been a very serious issue, which thankfully it wasn’t for all parties. Staff needs trained for odd events like this.

We spent 4 nights here in late October 2025. The hotel is laid out on a large piece of land with plenty of space to wander. Our room was facing the cacti garden and was a quiet location. Even though we were on the fifth floor we could access the garden and walk through it to get to the lobby and other parts of the hotel. We had meetings here and utilized the meeting rooms and east and west lawns for breakfast and lunch. They had plenty of umbrellas to give shade during these meals. The food for all meals was a wide variety of options from protein, carbs and fruits.

My husband and I absolutely love this resort. So much so we are on our 5th visit for my birthday and our Anniversary. We were married at the resort 2 years ago and we love it here. The staff are top notch and so attentive and the housekeeping staff is remarkable. I only have one complaint. We have been here 4 nights and it is usually a welcome get away. However, unfortunately we were here during a large conference of over 600 attendees who had a large and very loud outdoor breakfast starting at 7am right outside our window on every single morning we have been staying here. At 8am they call all attendees in with a loud bell from breakfast, so if the noise of 600 people didn't already wake you, the bell will. For a couple who were here for a birthday/anniversary trip on a break from children this was a bit disappointing. Next time you should place all of the conference attendees in the same area of the hotel that overlooks this very loud breakfast and put the rest of us who want to sleep in past 645am on the other side of the hotel.

The valets scuffed my personal vehicle and didn’t say anything. In general we had higher expectations for a 5 star hotel. I put my family of 4 in a suite. It was ok but there were access panels throughout and it was just ran down. The elevator was out of use we had to use a service elevator that dropped us off out in front of the hotel then walk around and into the lobby. Tables at the pool were so broken they couldn’t hold drinks. Servers at pool were nice. Just off given the price point. Nicer than other hotels but not 5 stars.

Beautiful property, clean and beautiful rooms overlooking the cactus garden. The level of service was top notch. Tiffany, the concierge greeted us prior to arriving. Helped us get an early check-in, which was much appreciated. As we checked in at the service desk, Ben was great and helped us select a beautiful room. When it came to dinner, I reached out to Ben and he suggested a wonderful Mexican restaurant which was outstanding. Truly appreciated. Even the valet service personally delivered our bags to our room by the time we checked in and got into the room. Overall, this was an amazing experience and I will happily come back. 😁

Hotel Valley Ho is a luxurious hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona, known for its mid-century modern rooms and suites. The hotel has a rich history dating back to 1956 when it quickly became popular among celebrities like Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood. Despite facing a decline, the hotel has been restored to its former glory. The design features funky geometric accents and low-slung furnishings that capture the essence of mid-century modern style.
Amazing place to stay. They love pets. They actually work cat friendly and that's very rare to see in hotels my fiance and I travel a lot we stay in a lot of hotels and that is very rare, but we very much appreciated. The place was very nice clean. They had very good activities going on outside. Great pool area. Everything was beautiful. Thanks guys. Oh and the night's sleep so restful. We had the best nights sleep there and I slept in because the bed was so comfortable. Huge bathroom too. Sorry it was great

My stay at Hotel Valley Ho was absolutely outstanding. I brought my fur baby along, and the staff treated both of us like family from the moment we arrived. The restaurant was exceptional—honestly, even living in California with an abundance of great dining options, the menu, food quality, and service here were beyond impressive. The hotel’s atmosphere perfectly blends Palm Springs charm with Mid-Century Modern elegance. It was also wonderful to find such a pet-friendly hotel that’s impeccably clean and well-managed—you’d never know other animals were on site. Every detail, from the ambiance to the kindness of the staff, made our stay unforgettable.

This is my go to hotel for 3 years when visiting my daughter. Today in booking for an upcoming visit I experienced an incredible price increase. More than double my last visit in July. I was told " it is seasonal and this is prime season". No loyalty perks. The manager was beyond rude. I have booked in the Fall in the past and paid between 200 and 300$. Today my request was nearly 500 per night. Rooms were available so that is not the issue. A nice hotel with comfortable rooms. Excellent staff but certainly not a 500 to 600$ a night good.

Based upon the marketing, price, and reviews, we had higher expectations than what we received. Most of the staff were absolutely great. Unfortunately, it was never the direct people who served us. This was particularly true at ZuZu. Our dinner was very average. Our waitress lacked personality. Appetizers arrived at the same time as our dinner. We continually needed to ask for more water and drinks. There was an automatic 20% gratuity on a table of 6. We wouldn't have not left a tip, but we found it odd on a smaller table. It wasn't noted other than the third receipt down. The room was just ok. Our air conditioner never kept up. It was loud an ran the entire night. It was a really warm night in the room and cooler outside. The balcony connects to all rooms, so it wasn't really an option to open the blinds or the door for airflow. In the morning, there was one pot of coffee for the entire hotel. When it was empty, the guy in front of me was informed that they only do one pot and that it wouldn't be refilled. He was told to order something at the bar. So gone before 6:30am. With all the options out there, at their prices, I recommend staying and eating somewhere else.

This place was absolutely incredible. The brunch at Zuzu was amazing. The rooms were great and no complaints. Pool was a lot of fun and service was great (Alex). Definitely coming back and staying here. Great location to old town and walking distance to pretty much everywhere.

They have a lovely quiet salt water pool where you can chill or swim laps and a party pool with music and a vibe. Location is great. Staff are so friendly. We loved it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Kat W — Google review
The service was great. The hotel room was large, modern and clean. They gave us a free upgrade which we loved. The amenities were nice but the ohasis pool could go to be maintained a bit more. Drinks at the pool bar were a bit overpriced which is to be expected at a hotel but when you consider the cost of staying at the hotel, parking, etc – they could bring prices down there a bit.
Kel P — Google review
Such a lovely stay. Really nice to relax by the pool and read and it is super quiet during the week. There were maybe only 5 to 10 people max at the pool the entire time I was there. The rooms are updated and they upgraded me to a cabana king suite with a huge patio. The bathtub was big enough to soak in all the way up to my neck and I was trying to keep my head from going under since I’m only 5 foot nice clean room and shower. Cozy mid-century modern feel. Love staying here for my mom-cation! ✨

Discover the charm of Red Roof Inn Phoenix North – I-17 at Bell Rd, a laid-back hotel with modest rooms and an outdoor pool. Embrace the inviting atmosphere created by attentive innkeepers who ensure an extraordinary stay. The property offers clean rooms, brand new furniture, and a generous rewards system. With security walking the parking lot and a dedicated front desk team, this is the go-to place in North Phoenix for a safe and comfortable stay.
Friendly staff with clean rooms! I booked the room via Booking.com at a descent rate. The description of the room and hotel were accurate. I checked in and was greeted in a friendly manner. I was given directions to my room and check-out time. The lobby was clean and modern. The room and bathroom were clean and organized. The bed was comfortable and gave a great night's rest. The check-out process was easy with no hassle. This reservation didn't include breakfast, but it was clearly written before I made my reservation. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, even a Quick Trip if you need a quick snack or food on the go. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Desert Valley/North Phoenix area.

The location is a little bit sketchy. So is the lobby, and the whole hotel in general. The beds seemed to be clean and were very comfortable. That was this locations redeeming quality. There is just a lot that is off, examples: hairs left on counter, ripped artwork in room, scrapes on wall, duct tape on elevator floor, smell of smoke in stairwells. The beds were comfortable though and the price was right. 🤷‍♀️

Red Roof we've been to we were bouncing around for a baseball tournament. The rooms were super clean as soon as you walked in you could tell that they were in great shape. I didn't see any bugs at all and I looked. I don't know if a freshly remodeled this place or not but even the showers were clean the mold was looking new the shower heads and handles look super clean and new so either we lucked out or they're keeping this place up to par.

I've stayed here off and on over 20 years. And had visiting friends stay here. It's always been a nice, quiet and clean place to stay at a very reasonable price. It's also in a convenient location, right off Bell Rd but without the Bell Rd "activities" such as heavy traffic and sirens and 24 hour use so-to-speak. Whether your planned activities are on the east side, west side or south of the Inn, you're in a nice spot to start and end your day. Enjoy!

One weeks ago I've been done plates Hotel red roof. I got my situation with the reception girl she tough she doesn't respect. I'm ask her I want to speak with a supervisor or manager. She say I'm here for a while. I say OK I need to speak with a supervisor and ask him. I got a question. If you say you don't understand, I told you what you want by the way she doesn't respect me after she talk to me. Bad language start with me. Crazy language after she call police for me and I call police too. I need to understand what's going on. I'm a customer by the way customer first I respect the stuff anywhere. I'm a owner's truck and owner company from Michigan Detroit doesn't matter who I am. I'm a customer. She have respect and I respect too, but she doesn't respect me and start talk to me bad language by the way I hope with the company and he make sure get people customer service first have understand the people because the people is coming visit and pay it not for free by the way I hope the owner or manager took care for staff from there and this people I mean the stuff you give me notes I can't enter the blades one more time do you think guys that's cool? I don't care. I can't see any hotel. I'm an owner better than the red roof found there because I know the company for a while and I every state where I'm go first I search for red roof by the way thank you guys. I have been a loyal Red Roof customer for years, I would not stay anywhere else. But, last weekend I stayed there again and like I always did before I brought my cat with me because pets always stayed for free. Well, upon check in I was charged a $50 pet deposit, which I was never charged before. I paid the deposit & when I checked out I was told by the guy working the office that he would return the $50 to my debit card right then. It's been a week and the money still has not been returned. I have sent 3 messaged to the hotel & have not heard back from them. It's a shame that they have to lie to their customers about pets staying for free, because that's not true. It's even more shameful that they have to steal money from their customers too. I would have stayed somewhere else had I known about the $50 extra I would need for the deposit. One of the reasons I always choose Red Roof is because pets stayed for free. I WILL NOT stay there again.

Premier Inns Metro Center is a budget hotel that offers simple accommodations equipped with complimentary coffee, an outdoor swimming pool, and a hot tub. Despite its affordable rates, the rooms provided are surprisingly clean and well-maintained compared to other nearby motels. The bedding is fresh, and there is an ample supply of towels in excellent condition. Moreover, the location ensures a peaceful environment for guests.
I have been staying here for over a month now and I have had zero issues here. It's quite. Clean and staff has always been there when needed for anything. My favorite pink haired violinist who is awesome and the Sean the gm is always on point and offers great customer service. Thank you to the entire staff at premier. Yes I'm a real customer nor was I asked to write a review. Doing soo because excellent service shouldn't go unnoticed. Bradley

I have all but convinced myself that someone had been stabbed in my room. There are knife marks in the walls, peeling wall paper, carpet detached from the wall, towel rack dangling by a screw, seals in the bathroom are shoddy, the bathroom door is broken in 6 different places and was PACKAGING TAPED back together. The "no smoking" room was so bad, my sister had an asthma attack. I couldn't sleep from the stains on the roof and the fact that the door was wide open before I arrived to swipe my room key. The random homeless, or drunk, guy sleeping at the foot of the stairs asked me if I smoked weed. They make every adult provide ID in the event a crime occurs, according to the lady at the window/"front desk." This room was so terrible, I slept at the desk after sanitizing it thoroughly.
Christine N — Google review
Had a great experience at the premiere this time around. The customer service at the front desk have all been great to interact with and very helpful when I have needed their assistance. Justin and the other maintenance man were a huge and welcome help and buffer for me when I had to deal with a less then fun situation that required them to bring the police into it so things could be resolved without anyone getting hurt and they were 100% successful I don't know what I would have done without their help. Will definitely recommend this place to a friend.
Lea K — Google review
Having stayed at this motel periodically in the past, I recently decided to return due to its close proximity to my workplace. My initial attempt was far from ideal; the lobby was closed, and despite a lengthy wait at the window, no staff member appeared, leading me to seek accommodation elsewhere. My second visit proved smoother at check-in, handled courteously by a gentleman. However, the room was clearly dated and in need of renovation, especially the tattered curtains. Despite its condition, the room was quiet, and I got a good night's sleep. Today, the standout was Katelin at check-in. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with. When my first room had a strong, off-putting odor, Katelin handled the situation with remarkable professionalism, genuinely apologizing and quickly relocating me. Her excellent service truly deserves recognition, and I highly recommend she be considered for a raise. While the surrounding area can't be changed, a significant investment in updating and renovating the rooms—particularly replacing old furnishings and curtains—would vastly improve the comfort and overall appeal for guests.

The maintenance staff, Justin & Jodie, are the best! Professional, great communication and all around great guys!!! Most of the front desk staff(only one that I won't mention) & housekeeping have been very accommodating & friendly.

Rented one night for two people and the beds are good size. Animal friendly. Big enough little refrigerator and microwave. However, I did encounter a couple of problems concerning the bathroom. The room I rented did have a water leak under the sink but I suppose things like that can happen and I did notify the lobby before I checked out. Also, there are no doors on the bathrooms. That was my only issues with premier inns.
James ( — Google review
I knew when the person checking us in said we had 15 minutes to let them know if anything was wrong with the room, that it wasn't going to be good. All rooms do not come with a microwave and refrigerator and you have to pay daily for the wifi. The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly in months. The vent in the bathroom was caked with dust/dirt and a towel was stuffed in the hole in the ceiling where I'm assuming a light was supposed to be. The beds looked clean until you took off the sheets. The protective pad was stained and whatever it was seeped on to another mattress protector that the mattress was zipped up in. The staff members lacked customers service skills and made it seem like they were inconvenienced when we needed towels or when our key card stopped working. I think the best thing about that place was that they had a laundry room to do laundry and for a load it cost $5 to wash and dry. Overall you get what you pay for and in my opinion I still paid was too much for a room that I had to clean upon arrival.

The Hermosa Inn is a refined boutique hotel with Southwestern-style rooms, featuring gardens and an outdoor pool. Lon's patio offers stunning views of Camelback Mountain and a four-course menu experience for $95, including dishes like octopus with baby iceberg lettuce or foie gras torchon. The restaurant, Lon's at the Hermosa, combines earthy adobe architecture with a sophisticated ambiance and offers a modern culinary experience that blends old-age cooking methods with classic European techniques.
We’ve been married 55 years. In the past we’ve celebrated anniversaries in Switzerland, Ireland, Germany, and Canada. This year we had no plans and thought we’d just have a special meal at one of our favorite Fort Worth restaurants. Remembering our dinner on my birthday at Lon’s in February we decided to stay at The Hermosa Inn two nights for our anniversary. Everything about our stay was special. The room was very nice, the staff all friendly and welcoming, our anniversary dinner at Lon’s was great. Breakfast with Lattes was also special.

Excellent service. The atmosphere was perfect. We chose to sit outside because it was a beautiful evening. The party sitting next to us was very loud, but I don't know how an establishment can control this. The noisy party left before we got our meal and from then on it was perfect.

The hermosa Inn was such a peaceful and perfect vacation trip. Went on June as solo trip and wished I could take the whole family with me. I am planning to comeback bc I loved it so much. I saw, it is pets friendly, it makes it even better, and the food from the restaurant is the most delicious food I had in Arizona. Omg! The customer service is so friendly and felt so welcomed all the time. Rich, Mario and the valet parking guys very attentive. Felt like home at this place. It is perfect for a family trip!

After dining at Lon’s several times, it was a no-brainer for my husband and I to celebrate our honeymoon at the Hermosa Inn. We selected the Deluxe Casita, which did not disappoint. We were located in a remote area of the property, allowing for ultimate privacy. Upon our arrival, staff had placed a beautiful plate of macarons and chocolate-dipped strawberries in our room to congratulate us on our marriage. Our casita was very spacious and well appointed. The bathroom felt like our own personal spa – it had a huge walk-in shower, an abundantly sized water closet, and an old-fashioned porcelain bathtub large enough for two, and long enough for my 6’2” husband’s frame. The bed must have been a Cal-King, because surprisingly, that was long enough for him as well. The enormous walk-in closet had a safe to store our valuables. The Hermosa Inn grounds were stunningly beautiful and the pool was quite refreshing during these 110-degree days, especially when the pool staff delighted us with complimentary homemade ice cream sandwiches during the middle of our swim. The food was exquisite and the wait staff at Lon’s were very attentive, friendly and engaging. Throughout our stay, everyone, from the valets to the ladies at the registration desk, treated us like royalty, which helped to make our honeymoon extraordinary. My husband and I are planning to come back and stay later in the year to enjoy the property during the winter months. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind experience to celebrate a special occasion, I highly recommend the Hermosa Inn. They will go out of their way to assure that you are not disappointed.

WORST staff ever! DONT GO I’ve never felt more uncomfortable by how rudely the manager/supervisor etc treated the room cleaning lady’s plain disrespectful in front of us and the housekeepers constantly apologize for how nasty the sheets are and they blame it on the washers downstairs because they only use powdered laundry soap and that’s it!? No bleach or anything professional! I 1000% believe them just on how much they apologize and every time they would come back with a new sheet it would have a stain on it and I mean ALL of them! me and my family had to wait over 30 minutes until the poor lady could find a clean one and to make matters worse we had BUG BITES!! My kids and husband had to stay in a motel and it’s sad to say it was 100 times much better I never wanted or want to see a manager scream and dehumanize someone in this industry it’s plain disgusting and unattractive!

Booked last minute for one night. We left early did not last the whole day prob about 5-6 hours. First off the the person that checked me in was super nice. But once I open the hotel door it was bad. We are thinking about reporting them to the health department the room seemed like it had mold in the bathroom the paint was chipping. The sheets smelled like smoke and I asked for a non smoking. The room was not in best condition not sure how they let people sleep there everything is falling apart. Light was broken didn’t work. I took so many pictures of what was wrong and what is a hazard towards a person. I also want to mention how the bathroom window was see through anyone can see you. Also there was no room to park my car. I just made my own Parking as others were parking in dirt.

We live in Flagstaff and got this hotel for a night so we could sleep a little before dropping my boyfriend off at his 6am flight the next day. We got in at 11pm. So, we were only going to be there for five hours. The hotel room itself was very dirty, and someone had stolen both the iron and one of the lamps that stick to the wall on the side of the bed. There was blue stuff on the walls that didn’t belong and we barely had blankets and pillows. The blanket was a sheet and a fleece blanket and then we had two tiny pillows, one which hardly kept the stuffing in one place to be able to use. On top of a dirty room, someone from the airport got our room number instead of the front desk for the shuttle from the airport and called us 5 separate times from 11pm to 4AM regarding the shuttle, even though we explained multiple times we were not the right contact. When we called the front desk to tell them this was happening and we were trying to sleep, we were met with a very rude response and zero help, therefore we had to unplug our phone for the remainder of the time we were in the room. I told the person at the front desk about this horrible experience and they looked at me with an expression pretty much saying “okay…anything else?”. They did nothing about any of my feedback and I am really disappointed that 5 hours in this dirty place cost us over $100. DO NOT STAY HERE! Not worth your money, I would have rather woke up at 2am in Flagstaff and just did the drive to Phoenix and back without having to stay here.

Naturally the price was low, but when you're charging for a place it may be modest, but it should be clean. Cigarette ash on the baseboard in the bathroom is just one example... in a supposedly nonsmoking room. Carelessly hung, scant towels, hair in the sink, hanging off the faucet, on the torn sheets and dust, dust, dust. Shuttle service is good but a bit confusing, as an airport parking shuttle service has been contracted, but with no identifying markings, or information on your booking itinerary. I was at the airport for hours expecting a Days Inn shuttle, watching what I later discovered to be the contracted service drive by repeatedly... who knew? On speaking with one of the drivers, he mentioned that it was suggested that the parking shuttle service name should be included on the website and booking confirmation, but this appearently has not been done. The free breakfast was described by the manager as, "grab and go", so we'll see what tomorrow brings in that regard... yes, that's right, I'm writing this on the night of my stay, and tomorrow I'll be away, with thanks! The irony is that you are made to pay up front for a damage deposit... to prevent much of what I found in the room upon my arrival. I informed the manager of the rooms state, but he seemed at best indifferent, and seemed to deflect my concerns. These are just a few first impressions of the place. I wouldn't go back, even if I was paid.

They tried to upgrade with wood floors and tile around the bathtub. There was a poorly plastered hole made by someone's fist in the bathroom door, not sanded down or repainted. Only 1 towel and 2 hand towels, def not enough for 2 people. Blanket and sheets were clean, but had stains on them. It's close to the airport, but NOT in a good neighborhood. The outside is dirty too. No smoking within 20 feet of your room, so we couldn't figure out why the room smelled of cigarettes. When checking out in the morning, we saw the cleaning lady smoking and figured it out. No bugs. We ordered delivery and didn't see any bugs trying to get to our food. The guys at the check in desk were nice. Oh and there was an outlet with the cover off and wires sticking out of the wall 🙄 the TV was hooked up to the cable wire that was also coming out of that outlet area. Oh and FYI if booking through a 3rd party, there IS a $100 deposit that you have to pay when checking in.

The staff were friendly but not well trained. Our room had the TV on when we entered the room which was strange. The hotel is not a good area of town and police were on the premises when we arrived. The condition of the shelves in the bathroom were terrible if you put anything on them they would have fallen on the floor. The toilet was not working properly. The walls were old and faded. and the baseboard was old and coming out of the walls. The tile was cracked and broken in several spots. I expected a Wyndahm property to be better cared for and have better upkeep. We will never stay at this property again. We hope the main company will evaluate whether this property is up to their standards. The beds were comfortable but the comforter had cigarette burns on them and seemed to be dirty or very old and needs to be replaced.

This was far and away the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The room was dirty, the attendant was lazy and unhelpful and the breakfast was comprised of a Ding Dong, yogurt and granola bar...Ding Dong for breakfast? The location did not appear to be safe either as there were random people smoking in the hotel parking lot (outside my door) all hours of the night. The bathroom was moldy, broken down and disgusting. It took a little trick to get hot water in the shower, otherwise it would have been a cold shower as well. When I asked for a receipt I was told one would be emailed to me and that never happened. When I checked my credit card transactions, I noticed I was double charged for the room...just keeps getting better. I cannot recommend not staying here highly enough.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of downtown Phoenix, Hotel San Carlos is a charming historic boutique hotel that has been welcoming guests since 1928. This storied establishment, once frequented by Hollywood legends like Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe, boasts a rich history that includes its role as the first school in Phoenix before transforming into a hotel. With its classic rooms and free Internet access, visitors can enjoy modern amenities while soaking up the hotel's fascinating past.
Just stayed for 2 nights and it was great. Super historic building. Dont expect it to be a Four Seasons and you're fine. Yes its not quiet but also you are in the middle of downtown. Great spots to walk to within a block for dinner/drinks. Staff was nothing but amazing, gave me great recommendations. Would 100% stay again.

Really nice, quaint and historic hotel. Pool was closed for repairs which really put a damper on our stay in hot Phoenix. Staff was very helpful and informative. Would definitely stay there again because of decent prices, especially when the pool is fixed. The monsoon thunderstorm was great to watch from our room that faced the main street out front. The English pasty restaurant across the street is a great place for food and there's an Irish bar right next door. For an even better experience, check out the Valley Bar in the alley across the street.

The location WOULD be great but there's no parking/valet. Expect to spend 10-15 mins jist looking for a place to park. If you're not driving then its np! I get that its a vintage hotel and the ambience is cool-ish, but with the vintage you have central air so if you're hot, there's not much you can do about it. The room is also very small with old everything. For the location and price, youd think they'd invest in some upgrades to bring at least the TVs into this decade but nope. Small cable TVs... Staff is GREAT if we're talking about the red-haired gentlemen 🙏🏽 other staff lied to my business partner that I wasn't staying there right as I came down from the elevator to get him. Overall if you're into very vintage hotels that have rooms the size of a large closet and old everything(there's a niche for that), you're not driving, and absolutely need to stay downtown, this is your place. But if you're driving, you can find a place with 10-15 mins of downtown(it'll take that long to park anyway) thats newer, roomier, up to date, and you can get right in and right out WITH free parking?! I'd look elsewhere.

Reserved a room for one night. Nov 5 - Nov 6 Term and conditions were not explained at the time of booking the reservation. Who ever we spoke to who books guests was not well trained I guess.. but here’s our experience. We were not informed that we had a discounted rate, nor were we informed that due to the discounted rate, there was a no cancelation policy. Neither of these terms were listed anywhere nor were they mentioned at anytime during the booking. We were under the impression that would could still cancel our reservation based on the confirmation email we have received from booking the reservation. (SEE SCREENSHOT OF EMAIL) We spoke to the front desk manager and the general manager of the hotel. Both were not accommodating and did not honor the cancelation nor refund our money. We called Nov 3, at 12:00Pm to cancel the reservation. That was 51 hours before the date/time of arrival. We requested to cancel the reservation prior to the declared 48-hour notice. We had to cancel due to family emergency, we had a death in the family. When requesting the cancelation, Angela Hentz asked for PROOF of our dead family member. If a family member passed Nov 3 there is no way we’d even be able to secure a death certificate in time for the time of the book reservation. I find it appalling she requested verification of death in our family in order to provide any sort of accommodation. This was very unprofessional and inappropriate. This reservation was barely $150 and I had to go a great lengths for them to consider any possibility of getting our money back. Angela called us back and said there was nothing she could do other than offer us a credit for another nights stay. I did not take this offer because I would never take my business to this kind of establishment. I recommended staying at the best western, or Marriott in the nearby areas. Save ur time and money and earn rewards while staying at another hotel in downtown phx.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The rooms are small, yes, but it's good for a one or two night stay. We went to a concert at the Footprint center, and it was a 10 minute walk. Saved us a lot of money on ubers and parking. The AC worked fine in our room, so I'm not sure what the other reviewers mean about it being unbearably hot because I was there in the dead of desert summer and was fine. The beds are a little uncomfortable and the sheets are rough, but those are my only complaints. Would stay here again!
Meredith E — Google review
The hotel appears old and rundown, but that is actually part of its charm. Well it could be renovated, I think that would actually ruin the entire vibe and ambiance. The rooms themselves are small, at least the one that I stayed in. There is no safe in the room. The bathrooms and shower are particularly small. The water temperature kept changing spontaneously while in the shower which was kind of annoying, but really not a huge deal. There is a good Mexican restaurant on the first floor which was very good. Location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown Phoenix.

Vintage hotels can be charming: Art Deco lobby, vintage photos, and an ambience from a time gone by. I love antique furniture, but that DOESN"T APPLY to Internet! Using WPA instead of a more SECURE connection is essential for business use. (They claim WPA/2 and /3, are too new —WPA/2 was introduced in 2004). Unfortunately, it meant I couldn't use the computer while in the room.
Lewis P — Google review
Good for the price but dang you can hear your neighbors loud and clear. Genuinely. The guy next door has several friends over right now they are laughing hard at his bad joke. Anyways, the staff is great and the rooms would be pretty solid without the noise. Low water pressure but to be expected in an old building like this. Would only recommend if you sleep like the dead

Bespoke Inn Scottsdale is a stylish and intimate destination in the heart of Old Town, offering individually designed rooms, an infinity lap pool, and loaner bikes for guests to explore the area. The inn provides best-in-class service and amenities for pets, including dog-friendly patio dining at its award-winning onsite restaurant.
My husband and I stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved staying here. We stayed in the Piccolo Attico, which has been newly renovated, and it was perfect for us. The room was beautifully decorated and they seemed to think of everything in the design process. There were special towels for makeup, lovely robes, still and sparkling water, coffee for the mornings and amazing hand soaps etc. If you wanted to borrow a bike or re-stock anything in the evening you could easily access them. Pool area looked really nice, but we didn't have a chance to try it out. The restaurants downstairs also looked beautiful (we LOVED the lit up, tree covered area outdoor eating area) and we would definitely try that next time. We were greeted by our friendly hosts who helped us settle in and gave us a mini tour when we checked in. Everything was communicated professionally via text and email which was also a nice touch. We really can't say enough about our stay here... we loved every minute of it and are looking forward to visiting again sometime soon.

We loved our stay at the Bespoke Inn! Our room was spacious, clean, very comfortable, and had cold sparkling and still water waiting for us. The pool was amazing - we swam in it 3 times during our one day stay! Downtown old town Scottsdale was walkable. Highly recommend staying here!

The positives: The location is amazing — just a 2-minute walk to the main street with all the restaurants and shops. The courtyard area is charming, and the staff was attentive to requests. The negatives: I stayed in a courtyard double room with a private entrance, $400 per night. I did not realize there was a room above mine, and due to poor insulation, I could clearly hear kids running and jumping from 9-10 pm and again at 6:30 in the morning. It was very loud and disruptive. A family room would be better suited for the ground floor. Also, paper towels would be helpful. When making pour over coffee, I did not notice the coaster under the cup, and hot coffee spilled everywhere. I had to use a bath towel to clean it up. I suggest placing the coaster beneath the cup to prevent this for future guests.

I wanted to love this place, but in the end we left halfway through our scheduled stay. Although the location is great and the grounds are lovely, our room (the Loft) had a weird set up. The clawfoot tub and shower were separated from main living space by only a sheer curtain (doesn't work well with a mother/son trip or platonic travelers, maybe okay for romantic couples). That was not apparent from the pictures. The stairway to the loft (where the only bed is located) is rather narrow and requires one to walk up and down to use the bathroom -- not good after dark as it didn't feel safe. The outdoor space was not at all private to our room; it was in the main walkway through the center of the inn. Finally, the location is right next door to a doggie daycare and early morning barking was incessant and very annoying. Perhaps a different room would have been less so (noisy). The manager seemed put out when I brought these issues to his attention and suggested this should have been disclosed. I would not stay there again but must assume some of the other rooms are better and quieter than ours was.

Super quaint. Very clean. Self check in worked great. Everything is advertised. Response to questions via email was quick. We went for a relaxing no frills anniversary trip. It was close enough to everything and each room is spaced far apart enough to no be bothered by other guests. The amenities are very nice as well and they don't use cheap products...from our in room lil coffee bar to the shower/bathroom supplies. Really nice touches throughout. Restaurant is on site but not part of Bespoke Inn. Experience it anyway. Our stay is great and continues to be. Thank-you.

Update- in response to the owner's comment, we did attempt a resolution directly with them. It was only after they told us they wouldn't do anything that we left this comment. Wanted to love this place. However, there is no on-site reception, no on-site security even though you can walk right in off the street, 3 dedicated parking spots for the restaurant, and no dedicated hotel parking. Check in is remote. If there are any issues you have to call a number and the folks on the other end of the line don't care to help you. Our experience was as follows- 1 night stay, no parking available on the street cause the on-site restaurant is having a private party until 11pm, none of the local lots allow overnight parking, called the hotel number and asked for assistance and they said to park on the street (taken) or the lot behind (which the on-site restaurant said you'd be towed from ). The hotel reception said they initially weren't aware of the private party and can't do anything to help. Except, they did know about the party as they later confirmed when we asked for help with parking! For $279/night , at 6:30pm, we got stuck trying to find overnight street parking or a lot somewhere and haul our stuff blocks or leave it and worry about the car getting broken into. The hotel could have suggested we secure on street parking before the party started which they could easily have done as they knew about the party. Their only response was how are we supposed to know how many people were going to attend the restaurant party? Excuse me- it's your property - there's only 10 parking spaces on the street in front of the hotel. Any party at this restaurant would impact parking. When I asked for assistance or a credit he wouldn't entertain it. We hauled our stuff blocks as there wasn't any parking available within 4 square blocks. But not the hotel's problem. Be mindful of this when booking here. There is no on-site parking. You'll pay $$$ and if anything happens you're left to fend for yourself. Let's not mention the dog kennel you can hear if you're on the south side of the building. What I realize tonight while driving around is that there are actually a lot of cute boutique hotels in the area who do have on-site parking and on-site staff to assist you. I would have stayed somewhere else. The other negative reviews about the lack of on-site staff and assistance are our experience as well. If they had informed us of the parking situation or dog kennel to the south via their website we would have been aware and could have made a different choice. Again, I wanted to love this place. The guy at the reception number said they respond to all reviews in response to his decision not to provide furthe assistance. I never asked for a nightly credit only help with parking expenses, which he also refused. Please do respond, these are all facts!

We had an exceptional experience during our stay. The room was impeccably clean, and the staff were both kind and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and every detail was thoughtfully considered, creating a stay that was both comfortable and convenient. The Penthouse is stunning, and all amenities needed to feel right at home were readily available. I highly recommend this property and fully intend to return regularly. The pictures on their Website don't do it justice.

Nestled in the heart of Cave Creek, AZ, Full Circle Ranch offers a unique B&B experience with cozy rooms and cottages. The Spanish-influenced property is set in the stunning Sonoran Desert, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding flora and fauna. Guests can relax by the outdoor pool or take a short walk to nearby hiking trails for an adventurous escape.
We had a wonderful stay at Full Circle Ranch and Jim and Lisa were very accommodating. The property was like a bird sanctuary right outside our sliding glass door. We saw cardinals, hummingbirds, gilded flickers, among other wild life. We stayed in La Paloma and it did not disappoint. It was clean, stocked with everything we needed, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again! Great property! Highly recommend!

I spent a little over a week here at Full Circle Ranch and it has been nothing short of exceptional!! The views and the setting are breathtaking! Whether you’re on the pool or on the rooftop patio, the views are amazing. The ranch is close in to town where there is shops, restaurants, and nightlife, but the ranch is tucked away on a quiet road and is so peaceful out here. You are short walk to hiking trails. Inside, it is spacious, clean, and is so very reminiscent of the great southwest. A great place to relax after long days of vacation. And to top it off, the hospitality from the owners was amazing! I highly recommend staying at Full Circle Ranch!!

This is my family’s third year in a row back to the ranch as we absolutely love it!! The property and amenities are amazing. There is plenty of space for a big family across the 6 bedrooms. If we had horses there are even 3 rooms for them and a coral. The pool is beautiful and the views from the property and roof top deck are stunning! High Recommend!!

To start what an awesome and very beautiful property. The owners are very nice and very responsive. I did not scroll down far enough to see the property map so I called and they were more than helpful to assist me. The room was awesome and the bed was probably one of the best that I have slept on outside of my own home. The location is very close to everything fun in the area which is really nice to get out and see AZ in any season but far enough away to not have any noise pollution. The pool area is gorgeous with a waterfall, fireplace, chairs and tables, lounge chairs, and BBQ. The wildlife outside your window and door is not to be discounted either. So many different types of birds and a few lizards made it more enjoyable to swim in the pool on a hot day. If you own a horse and are planning to stop in this area I would not recommend any other place. They have options to put your horse up and a pen for it to move around on property. I also believe there are 3 horse stalls and 2 5th wheel spots to boot! Thanks again for an amazing stay we will definitely be back for another stay!

We booked our wedding here and couldn't believe how amazing Tom and Debby were. They were so accommodating, caring, great on getting back to us, and very patient. The location is beautiful! The rooms are exactly as they seem in the pictures with private entries, lovely decor, some have patios, perfectly clean, safe and serene. They didn't deserve to have to deal with me. We cancelled twice. Not what we were planning on but things came up and it really broke my heart to cancel. They were understanding and still helpful even after everything and invited us back with open arms. These two truly are amazing. The entire wedding was planned while everything was booked and paid for there were family members that were sick, and then I got sick, so we knew our wedding just wasn't realistic right now but I'm hoping to come back and stay at the ranch after I finish chemo :) I highly HIGHLY recommend Full Circle Ranch. The monsoon season is unforgettable here and I suggest trying to stay during a rainstorm where you can watch the storm come in and then cozy up in your beautiful room to watch the rain :) A million times over, thank you Tom and Debby!!

My four night stay was perfect! The property is beautiful and quiet. The other guests were interesting and kind. Tom and Debbie are warm and caring. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is creative and delicious. Fabulous hiking trails are very close.

The place looks gorgeous and the reviews are great. However, all the good reviews are for the previous owners and management. Current owners have no experience in the hospitality business and are anything but hospitable. You will be paying to stay at one of the most expensive places in Arizona, but will receive ZERO amenities. Want to sit by the pool? They have a lock on the gate to prevent that. Want to use the laundry room? Forget it! They ask for payment in full upfront because once you know you are getting ripped off, they can keep your money. If you refused to leave without a refund, they will call the sheriff. The sheriff will eventually get you a partial refund, but that's the best you will get. Owners are using this as a second vacation home while advertising it as a bed and breakfast. They are letting their friends stay there for free. My guess is that they can get a tax deduction on the place as a business without actually having to do anything for guests. Stay any place else! Be warned!

Came to Phoenix for a funeral. Came in late and had to leave early for the service. Tom and Debby made a great effort to accommodate us by making sure we had food for breakfast earlier than normal as we had to leave by 7 am for funeral. Beautiful setting for b and b. Tom is a pretty good breakfast chef. Place is very clean. Climate control in rooms could be a little better. But a very good experience overall. They seem to work hard to make it work.

Maricopa Manor Bed & Breakfast Inn in Phoenix offers uniquely themed rooms with comfortable amenities such as a courtyard, pool, and hot tub. Guests can enjoy in-room breakfasts and access to a fitness center, tennis courts, and a golf course. The accommodations feature well-lit spaces with cozy seating areas and luxurious bedding. The hostess is accommodating, serving perfect breakfasts while the location provides easy access to dining options.
My family and I recently stayed at the Maricopa Manor. We were completely blown away at the amenities that were available. The room we stayed in was absolutely perfect. It felt like a second home, not like a traditional hotel. The space was well inviting and were furnished perfectly. We had our own parking port right outside the door of our room and Joan accommodated space for our trailer as well. The breakfasts were a special treat when we woke up. We were not rushed to an area to eat, instead the meal was waiting for us when we were ready. The grounds of Maricopa Manor were amazing. There was plenty of quiet sitting room outside and the fountains added a special touch. The pool was equally amazing. The location of Maricopa Manor was great as well. Within walking distance there was plenty of eateries and things to see, as well as the Light Rail which services Phoenix. We will definitely be back for more stays and recommend anyone to stay at Maricopa Manor.

Me and my fiance shared a quiet relaxing Valentine's day in this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in the Manor Suite and it was beyond amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. The room had nice natural light as well as lamps and ceiling lights that dimmed. The kitchenette was adequate and mini living room were comfortable with big seating for two. The bed was very comfortable and sheets were luxurious, I felt like royalty and my fiance agreed. The decor was lovely in all areas of our suite. The bathroom was nice with a huge tub to relax in and soak out from that long work week with jets to soothe you and water was hot with the on demand tankless water heater. We watched some movies on Cox Cable and enjoyed the fireplace that bordered our bedroom area from the mini living room. I think if the TV gets a upgrade it would add to the bliss of the room but the current TV didn't take away the enjoyment of the room. The rooms are like separate little suites that aren't all crammed within a house. You have your own space and privacy. There many eateries around if anyone wanted to eat out. The grounds we're lovely and manicured. I enjoyed it's views even with it being rainy. The pool looked very nice as well, even though I didn't swim because it was cold and rainy. Joan was nice and everything was just so beautiful. Me and my honey couldn't of been more happier. We had a wonderful morning breakfast with hot quiche, muffins, OJ, hot tea and a variety of fruit with whip cream. Everything was just so nice. I'd definitely stay here again. Me and my fiance never been to a bed and breakfast and choosing this place was a BINGO! Plus, seeing so many happy couples getting married here in pictures on it's website was no surprise. I thank Joan for her hospitality and the B&B was beautiful! We didn't want to leave, that's how wonderful it was.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely oasis located in a great area of Phoenix this past Christmas week. All our children were able to be near us, and we enjoyed gathering in the comfortable living room in our (Pasadena) suite. We even hosted a family wedding shower in the beautiful courtyard on a sunny afternoon--the perfect setting! We especially enjoyed the beautiful and unique breakfasts Joan brought us in picnic baskets; we thought we might tire of "crustless quiche" but each morning we had four different, creative meals and each one was fresh, delicious and plenty for 2 or 3 people. We hope to stay with you again soon, Joan!

We stayed here for an anniversary trip to go see our beloved Suns play the detestable bulls. Every moment of our stay was wonderful, and when traveling to Phoenix, we will never stay any place else. The whirlpool tub was wonderful, and the little extra touches like perfumed beads for the tub made every moment special. Our one and ONLY issue was that the television was an older and very small tv... we enjoy snuggling in bed and watching tv, and we really couldn't see the screen from the bedroom area. Everything else was magnificent! I don't know which rooms might have new televisions, but would ask about it when making a reservation.

I am absolutely incredulous at our entire experience at this bed and breakfast. My friend booked a suite 6 months ahead of time at the recommendation of her venue to be the bridal suite before her wedding (for bridesmaids to get ready at) and for her wedding night. I came to check us in and it immediately started out awful. I met who I assume was Joan the owner in the back gardens after she was not accessible at the front door. No introduction. The bride has posted on her reservation the purpose of the room. Joan stated that she had not realized that it was going to be a bridal party and that she hadn’t set up the pull out bed in the living room for that. She stared at me, as if expecting me to say “oh we will just get ready somewhere else then” and leave. I should have heeded her desires because she made it unbearable for the bride throughout the entire experience. So after checking us in, she asks the time we want breakfast delivered the next day. We told her that because it was the brides big day, we wouldn’t need to have an extravagant breakfast as we weren’t sure if she would be up to eating. Joan brings us a big breakfast the next day and then gets upset that we didn’t eat everything she brought! We paid for the food, said we didn’t need it, and then she gets mad at us for not eating it! Next, we informed her that we would be getting ready in the suite when we checked in. When Joan came to pick up the breakfast baskets, she stressed the bride out AGAIN by making a big deal of when we would be leaving the suite so she could prepare it for them that night. We informed her that we would be getting ready in the suite and wouldn’t leave until around four as the wedding starts at 5. So naturally the bride in a panic starts running around cleaning everything up because she is stressed that Joan is freaking out. Second, THE BUGS. Holy cow. All of us woke up in the morning COVERED in bug bites. Also we killed two cockroaches in the room. We understand that it’s Phoenix, and bugs are here. But spray for them! Especially bugs that bite. Myself alone, has more than 30 bites on my left leg ONLY. Wrists, ankles, knees, torso, arms. EVERYWHERE. That is gonna look FANTASTIC in the wedding pics. Third... the quality of the room. I spent the night on the most uncomfortable sleeper sofa of my life. The room description says it sleeps four. That is fake news because a crappy sleeper sofa should not count as a bed. Weddings are stressful on their own and I am sure that Joan has her own reasons for acting the way she did..But this was our friends big day and Joan added unnecessary stress on an already stressful day. Save your money or book an Air BNB or hotel room. The beautiful grounds (the only saving grace of this place) is not worth the stress and discomfort the hostess provided. 0/10 would NOT recommend. #stillitchy
