Hotel
Boca Simon Vacation Curaçao is a laid-back bed and breakfast in Willemstad, conveniently located within walking distance of Avila Beach and a short drive from Seaquarium Beach. The property offers simple rooms with access to a shared kitchen, an outdoor pool, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests have praised the friendly staff and the convenient location near Mambo Beach. The central location also allows easy access to Willemstad and its many restaurants.
I enjoyed my stay here. There were two nice pools and a community kitchen. I loved the cabana and the upper terrace to hang out at. The room was small but clean and comfortable! The location was a good walking distance from Punda and Mambo Beach. It is also right across from a nice beach. The only thing to note is that there was a school next to it that rang the bell at 6:30 every morning. It usually woke me up so just be aware of that.

After receiving an insulting message from the owner I would not recommend to stay there even if the Hotel room was ok, kitchen too. But no toilet downstairs and we had a really bad experience with the owner Magdy. We wanted to book an external tour with him, we had no cash. He told us we could pay the cash deposit by Sunday and on Saturday he suddenly wanted it and he told us if we don't pay by Saturday night he will cancel the tour. He got really rude. We went to the ATM and saw there was a fee, so we decided to book directly with the tour agency (where we could pay online). He then threatened us, that he has the power to put us on the street. (See screenshots). Update: after leaving this review I received today another message from the owner in which he is insulting me. (See screenshots) Now I would definitely not recommend to stay there!

Nice clean place to stay. Friendly people's. Very nice owner. Previously I read some complain peoles about saving electricity (shutting off A/C when leaving room) and not throwing paper to toilet but complete understated owner and is not big deal to comply with rules. RECOMENDED.
Jarek R — Google review
Great location, great value, and *beautiful* establishment. The common areas were great. The pool area was fun and super enjoyable, and the giant palapa area on the roof was awesome! This place is under-sung in each and every way. The staff and owners are super friendly, helpful, and generally just awesome. There are around 8 or 10 parking spaces inside the controlled gate, which is great, but they're a little tight. You won't be pulling your suburban in there unless you're extremely comfortable with driving. But there's a *giant* parking lot outside that, as near as I can tell, was just free public parking. the biggest surprise was the communal kitchen that is open air all day, but accessible to guests 24/7. We did not expect that, but we will plan on coming back because of it. The great vibe of the place along with the convenient location and remarkable amenities make this place a no-brainer for future visits.

WARNING: Stay away from this place. Terrible service, completely unprofessional. They ignore customer calls, speak rudely, and even try to scam people with shady payment methods. They don’t keep their word and show zero respect. Do NOT trust them. There are way better places in Kòrsou with honest service and real hospitality.
Arnaldo M — Google review
Stayed there before the New Years with a friend. Upon arrival, we noticed that the room was VERY DIFFERENT than the pic, smaller, darker, tiny windows, showers had dangerously handing ceiling corners, no soundproofing, lots of cigarette smoke coming from the main area, and my friends bed sheets smelled like sweat, had to ask for another ourselves. Dirty kitchen, dirty pool. Gave them 2 stars on Booking, and the main manager messaged me threats on WhatsApp, calling me names. Well, he spoke about himself there, and his dirty overpriced hole. Fix yourself, do a favor to the world.
Ekaterina S — Google review
A very good experience the 2 times I came here. The place is relaxing, pleasant , it has a great common area with a super clean swimming pool, a patio, a common kitchen, book sharing, a big veranda with confortable sofas. It is almost always sold out and I do not wonder why.
Corinna B — Google review
I think Boca Simon is the best in sub-hotel class. It has best amenities for its price. I am surprised that people had complained about the size of rooms. Buildings in Curacao have European size not American. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was even better than in Extended Stay Great America and I had all day access to the kitchen with oven, microwave, potter etc. My car was parked in fenced yard. Not so many B&B hotels in Curacao can offer this feature. I am totally pleasured with my stay here because I did not expect to get Ritz-Carlton for 40 dollars per day. P. S. Location is decent. But anyway a car is needed regardless of location because all good beaches located on west side on the island.

Boutique Hotel JT Curaçao, nestled in the charming area of Jan Thiel in Willemstad, offers a serene adults-only retreat that perfectly blends relaxation and adventure. Just a short stroll from Caracas Bay and a quick drive to Jan Thiel Beach, this hotel is an ideal base for exploring the island. Guests can indulge in water sports or unwind by the stunning pool with breathtaking views. The accommodations are air-conditioned and well-maintained, ensuring comfort throughout your stay.
I want to express my gratitude to Boutique Hotel JT Curaçao. I spend 4 days in the island and the time at the hotel was very good. I would say that the best thing is the place on which the hotel is, at 15 minutes of Jan Thiel beach walking (2 minutes by car). Also, the breakfast was very good, and the condition of the rooms were outstanding. They also helped me to find a great car rental (liv curaçao, recommended as well), so I am very satisfied with the service and the hotel in general. I would come back for sure. Thank you!
Charly M — Google review
Its worth mentioning that the island itself is very nice. Good looking beaches. However, I would recommend going to the beaches pretty early because they seem to get packed rather quickly after 10am or so. Also, depending on the country you are from you may find the prices of food are a bit high. Renting a vehicle is always a good option! I used Paradisus Car Rental. They are open 24/7 plus they will deliver to your location and pickup at airport if needed, which is what I did. If you are new person travelling for the first time, I encourage you to do some location and activity research first because there is alot of things that can be done and having a vehicle is best instead of spending extra on tours. However, I would admit that I enjoyed a tour.

We stayed here last week and we are both more than satisfied. Great location, clean and spacy rooms and great breakfast. Special thanks to Shirley who prepared our breakfast every morning with a lot of care. We can recommend Boutique Hotel JT Curacao to everyone. Keep up the good work and greetings from Holland!

Villa Tokara Boutique Hotel is a vibrant and charming guesthouse located in the heart of Willemstad. The colorful exteriors and interiors create a picturesque setting, perfect for capturing vacation memories. With a small number of rooms, the hotel offers a relaxed atmosphere and personalized service from the friendly staff. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool area with sun beds and have breakfast served poolside upon request.
Absolutely loved our one week stay here! We stayed in the pink room and we had such a lovely time. The hotel is small, intimate and exactly what we were looking for. Within 10 minutes walking you are in the centre of town. There are great restaurants within a five minute walk. Having a car is a must on this island as all the beautiful beaches are to the north about 45 minutes away. The property itself was clean and comfortable. There is an adorable cat named Gourdo who lives on the property and is just about the cutest guy you’ve ever seen! He will be your best friend if you let him! Lots of times we would let him in the room to hang out with us and he was so happy. We can’t rave enough about this place. The only thing I would suggest for improvements are to upgrade the pillows (I found them too soft for me personally), add some antibacterial soap to the bathroom, and invest in some nice fluffy towels. Other than that, five stars all around! *** also be aware that there is no bathroom door in the pink room. So if you are comfortable doing your business in front of your partner, that’s great, but we found it a bit awkward!

What a wonderful stay at a wonderful property, full of charm. I always carefully select my hotels and was quite glad about my correct choice. The location is fabulous - surrounded by nice restaurants, within walkable distance to the center - and very quiet. I love the personal attitude and I receive it here. Highly recommended!

Villa Tokara is a beautiful place to stay! The hosts were so lovely and welcoming and the room nicely decorated and spacious. We loved the balcony, the pool and the great restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend it!

A fabulous place with the kindest owners and most wonderful eclectic décor! We stayed at Villa Tokara for a few days and our verdict is - if you are looking for a place with a character and whimsical charm where the owners truly care about you having a great experience - Villa Tokara is your place. From the colorful lobby, to the relaxing pool and garden, from the charming rooms to the kindness and care of the owners, we had the perfect experience! The room we had was off the main floor and had all the amenities you can ask for - spacious interior and shower, double sink, plenty of towels, comfortable bed, tons of storage space and a coffee machine to start your day plus a safe and iron/ironboard on request. The location of the villa is also great - for a beach access we booked the Avila day beach pass right next door. The Pietermaai district where the villa is located is 15 minutes walking distance to Downtown and there were so many fabulous restaurants and cafes nearby. We felt very safe walking around. The grounds of the villa were the perfect space to relax and recharge - in the morning I loved sitting outside on the patio chairs drinking my coffee and enjoying the company of the resident cat Guordo. In the event after a full day, dipping in the pool capped the evening perfectly. The owners are the kindest of people - they were always making sure we were comfortable with everything and patiently answered all of our questions. We couldn’t have asked for more. Overall, we absolutely loved the charm and character of the property and had a great relaxing time. We will return for sure to stay here when we are next time on the island.
Nia O — Google review
Our stay at Villa Tokara was amazing. Anissa, the host, was welcoming and very helpful. We love the place so much that we returned for an unplanned second stay during our holiday in Curacao. The villa and the rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable and the breakfast are fantastic.
Maxime S — Google review
We had such a special stay here! The accommodations are so beautiful and comfy. We loved the non-commercial feel and warmth of the place and staff. I know they just recently took over ownership but from a guest perspective, the transfer has been seamless. They were so accommodating, especially for a group with a baby and the various [unexpected] needs that come with that. The location can’t be beat and is very walkable to good food and the beach. I’m sure some updates are coming to this older building but even if they weren’t, it’s so stunning, authentic, and cozy as it is. We loved our stay and very much hope to come back!
Steph G — Google review
We had a wonderful 11 night stay at charming Villa Tokara. Our room was spacious and felt homey. The pool and outdoor space is just a beautiful, especially at night. The owners were helpful but still gave us privacy. We skipped breakfast as it was a little too pricy for us and we would advise them to fix the shower temperature issue in our room (i.e. either very hot or very cold) that we flagged on day 2. We would definitely recommend booking there for a quite, safe but still centrally located stay in Willemstad.
Stephanie L — Google review
What a charming boutique hotel. It was tranquil, clean, safe, and comfortable. Our room was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Conveniently located by some really great restaurants, a bus stop right across the street, and a short walk to the city center. Appreciated having a pool in their large courtyard - we jumped into the pool at the end of every day! Stefano went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. He gave us recs for restaurants, bars, and dive shops right after we checked in. Curacao can be tricky to get around if you don't rent a car, and when we couldn't get a taxi at night, he picked us up! Highly recommend staying here for a peaceful vacation.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful studio with all the trimmings. There is a refrigerator, hob, Senseo machine, kettle and toaster. The bathroom is large and super nice and clean. You can park your car safely on site and the location is central. Mahsa and Ralf are very friendly and are there for you if you need them. The air conditioning could be a little stronger, but otherwise it is a very comfortable studio and you have enough privacy. All in all, we were able to stay here for a week with great pleasure and comfort. We would definitely recommend this location for 2 people.

Nice rooms with comfortable king size beds. Location is very central to the City, beaches and night life. Book this place if you want to avoid the traffic @ large hotels. Rooms have a safe, dining area, fridge with a small kitchen with useful appliances. Book bigger rooms for a walk in closet and more coziness. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, but i recommend renting a small car to explore the island. Will stay here again.

First time in Curaçao. Spent a few days looking for hotels for my upcoming visit. Stumbled across The Pier Beach. When we arrived we were greeted in the office and check in went smoothly. The room is decorated nicely and very clean. The beds are very very comfortable. Each room has a microwave, refrigerator, cutlery, plates, and a safe. Wall mounted television and the fastest Wi-Fi I ever had on an island. There are seating areas outside and an outdoor continental breakfast area. Selections are fruits, juices, hard boiled local eggs, cereal, bread, meat, cheese, coffee, tea. It's a nice walk to Mambo Beach, about 7 minutes. There is a beach across the street but it seems more of a locals hangout. Mambo Beach has a variety of food options and shops. Area seemed safe with no problems. Would definitely be back.

Im a local tourist. I have choose this hotel because i organized my son baptism and it was the perfect place to stay with my kids.. i loved the outdoor kitchen ....clean and the service excellent.... We did not sleep for the entire 1 week stay as the beds were so uncomfortable. There was a big dip in the middle of both mattress and we were both waking with back pain in the morning. Of course we went straight to the reception on day 1 to ask if there was anything they could do. ‘No there is nothing we can do, sorry (smiling)’ said the young blond lady. On check-out a different blond lady asked how our stay was and we told her about the mattresses and no sleep for 1 week. She said to us cheekily, maybe as the Dutch can be a little rude, but she said to us ‘Well maybe if you had told us from the beginning we could have done something’, we responded ‘Well yes, we did tell you but you said there was nothing you could do about it’ The lady just smiled as said ‘oh well, have a safe journey’ For $1500 USD ($250) a night we would have expected better care. Some of the things that surprise us were the beach is outside the resort, you must remove your trash from the room yourself, there is no shampoo, there are no hair or hand towels (very weird) there is no breakfast….all very strange for a 4* hotel. We would not stay here again, nor would we recommend this place. In summery, for the same price you can stay in a more comfortable hotel with better service and friendlier staff. (All the staff here are a bit sour faced people from the Netherlands, its misses on the local friendly vibe)

Food was done well, staff was nice, and a beautiful view, we purchased a day pass. A nice feature which is why I gave the 3rd star. But didn’t seem that service was important to them at all. Ordered lunch. A couple of drinks, and appetizers. 45 minutes later appetizers served. No drinks Another 30 minutes, drinks arrived. And another hour our lunch. So basically 2.5 hrs for the lunch special, an order of fries and 2 cocktails. Your choice how do you want to spend your day.

Rooms seem to have been in part refurbished, which is nice. Expect a fairly limited setup in terms of equipment but should do the trick for some basic meal preparation. The patios in front of the houses are relatively spacious and offer a nice area sit.

If I could give this place a half star I would because there is nothing ‘resort’ about this place, it’s barely a hotel, you literally have to do everything yourself. This place only has 1 restaurant on the entire resort and the menu never changes. The food is alright and portion sizes are very small so way to expensive to eat there everyday. The other restaurants outside of the resort are better but it’s about a 10 min walk. There is no convenient store on the resort, so if you want to get water, toiletries, or any other supplies you will need to walk 15 min to the supermarket. The entire resort is very hilly, very steep hills at that and what sucks is the hills are the steepest when walking back to your room (the walks back to our room was especially exhausting after being at the beach all day). The rooms also do not have conditioner or shampoo, only a ‘hair and body’ wash in the shower. Another thing to note, there are no wash clothes or hand towels provided just 2 plain white towels. There is a coffee machine in the room but you only 2 complimentary Nesspro pods. If you want more you have to pay $8 for a single pod at reception. The beach is about a 10 min walk and always full of people all the time and they section it off so we can only access a quarter of the beach. You also have to pay for seats at the beach. There are three very small pools and some hot tubs. I can’t speak for the pools because I wasn’t there much but I know the hot tubs don’t get treated or cleaned regularly, they just fill it up with water at night because the heat evaporates the water. There is no room service, you can’t even order your food from the restaurant directly to your room so you have to walk all the way to the bottom of the hill where the restaurant is and walk back to your room with your food. Also for breakfast, they will serve you omelette with no onions/peppers and if you want that you have to pay extra. They clean the room every 3 days and they don’t change the sheets, they just fold the bed take the trash out and sweep which is odd. We got refreshed/clean towels only once our entire time here. We had to call them to come clean/take the trash out for the second time and they still didn’t come so we had to go get trash bags and take our own trash out because without those it would’ve very difficult to continue cooking our meals. The only good thing I can say is the staff are pleasant. Would not recommend. If you are looking to eat good food and relax for vacation do not come here, you might as well get an Airbnb because you will be doing everything for yourself (grocery shopping, room cleaning, cooking, etc).

Nice clean modern room. Beautiful grounds with inviting pools & hot tubs. Helpful & pleasant staff members. Great restaurant with good food, drinks and service.

So far pretty nice resort. Our 2 room apartment is clean, albeit a little bit simple. 2 pit stove and a small sink which is fine. Comfy beds. Rooms get cleaned every third day. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and most of the staff at the bar too but some are unattentive. The food is nothing more than OK. But pricey, especially the breakfast. Location is nice near the shore. Overall pretty nice.

Nestled in a tranquil corner of Willemstad, B&B Haciënda la Bougainville offers a delightful escape just a short stroll from The Aloe Vera Plantation and the Curacao Ostrich Farm. This charming spot is perfect for those looking to unwind, featuring a refreshing swimming pool and simple yet comfortable rooms equipped with essential amenities like air conditioning and mini-fridges. Guests rave about the cleanliness and the fantastic shower experience.
Lovely place, host is super sweet, the swimming pool is delicious. The room is fairly simple (has an AC, which you'll really need!) but just about everything you need since you will spend most of your time around the island and not in your hotel room. Room was very clean, lots of towels, the shower is amazing (strong flow and with multiple temperatures, easy to handle), the mini-fridge is just about standard as for most B&Bs. A car will be needed to stay here as it is a bit far from the hotspots. Overall, exceeded my expectations, would definitely stay there again!

I stayed with Marc and Hermien for 2 nights and had an excellent experience. They are extremely nice and accommodating and Marc happens to be an expert on tropical vineyards which surprisingly had just come up as a topic of conversation the night before in Colombia where we did not have an expert on hand. The vibe is very low key and personal and I got to know many of the other guests staying there. If you want to get away from the tourists and want quiet, comfortable, very nice accommodations this is the place for you.

(Translated by Google) Positive points: The location is excellent, you can do everything in the city on foot, plenty of shops, pharmacy, Casino, tourist attractions nearby. There are plenty of spaces for cars close to the suite. The Otrobanda region is very charming, with many historic buildings, most of which are well preserved. It's a very old building and basic accommodation, in my case it worked well because my goal was just to go to sleep and prepare a simple meal. Communication was very good, I was welcomed without any difficulty. Negative points: As it is a very busy region, on Friday and Saturday nights, there are some events nearby with very loud sound (very loud indeed) that will make it difficult for you to sleep, in my case, when I was traveling with a child, it was not possible to go to the night events " If you can't join them, join them." lol. There is a lack of maintenance in some simple things. There is no hot water in the shower, which was fine for me, but for the child it was difficult to bathe, especially at night. Electricity system is pre-paid, this seems common in the region, I had no problem, but it's bad to turn on any device worrying about whether the energy will come or not (I wasn't used to that) but what was available to recharge It was enough, but using it only at night, if you use it during the day too, you would certainly have to recharge more, at a cost of 6 dollars a day. Wi-fi didn't work properly.

BijBlauw, located in Willemstad, Curacao, opened its doors in December 2013. This hidden gem by the ocean boasts a cosmopolitan design and offers nine rooms and one apartment. The on-site restaurant serves locally sourced dishes like tuna in lime risotto and refreshing drinks. Additionally, the BijBlauw Concept Store features local and Dutch-made interior design items, fashion pieces, and colorful accessories.
Came here for dinner with a view and I must say it was an excellent choice! The view is spectacularly beautiful at sunset. The food and drinks were deliciously tasteful for somewhat of a reasonable price.

We made reservation for dinner. Parking is a little tricky as the street parking gets busy as there are other resteraunt. The entrance of the resteraunt is between the two buildings. We got seated beside the sea side. Make sure you book a time when sunset. Server is polite and friendly. Food is amazing and we tried a few entree. Daily catch is sea bass and it’s very good. We tried the tenderloin and it was cooked perfect. Somehow the temperature is not hot enough in the center. Truffle risotto is also good. Overall, price is reasonable and portion is decent.
Alan N — Google review
The hotel is undeniably lovely and seaside but that doesn't change what happened. While staff may downplay or deflect, the experience was real. If you're considering staying here, take this as a serious warning... I chose BijBlauw for a peaceful solo vacation. A boutique property, with a sea side location. But on the first night, I woke up around 1am to find my room door wide open. I absolutely locked it before bed. I had also heard movement beforehand that sounded like someone trying to get in. (The noise of someone trying to get into the room woke me up abruptly. It wasn't subtle or vague.) The door at this hotel is heavy and doesn't open easily by accident, so this felt like an attempted entry. I reported the issue immediately and asked for: • Security footage review (12-1:30am, Room 4) • A safety plan for the rest of my stay • A partial refund due to the breach The hotel responded promptly at first, but ultimately claimed: - No one was seen on the camera (though they refused to share the footage) - Their night guard saw nothing - The door likely wasn't closed properly (it was) I checked in twice before going to bed (I am traveling alone) - They could not offer a refund While they insisted there was "no indication" of a threat, the simple fact remains: I woke up to an open door while traveling alone, after hearing clear tampering sounds, and no one could explain why. There was no on-site security presence I could speak to, no functioning front desk at that hour - they leave at 8pm, and no accountability from management beyond polite deflection. This wasn't about discomfort or inconvenience it was about safety. I left early, shaken and very disappointed. At the end of the day, you should have no issue sharing footage, if nothing concerning occurred. Transparency builds trust especially when a guest feels unsafe. Refusing to share it only deepens the sense that something is being concealed or minimized. If you're traveling solo or care about clear security protocols, I would advise caution. I hope this serves as a warning for anyone considering a visit to BijBlauw Boutique Hotel in Willemstad Curacao.

We were promptly greeted and seated. Views are amazing and I think this the reason people give the 4.9 star reviews because it is not the food. My wife asked for a side of herbal butter. They never brought it with the meal and she literally had to get up and find someone. They never returned to fill our drinks, water or anything. She had to get up a second time to find them and ask for a check. Then it took another 20 minutes for the lady to bring the bill. There may have been 4 other couples in the restaurant so 0 stars for customers service and 0 stars for quality of food. Do yourself a favor and find another restaurant with a view!

We visited BijBlauw for both dinner and breakfast, and while dinner was decent, I didn’t love it as much as I’d hoped. The service was a tad slow but nothing too bad. The location and ocean views are absolutely top notch though.. especially during the day. Breakfast the next morning completely won me over. The smoothie special was so fresh and delicious, easily my favorite part. I’d definitely return for breakfast again, but I’d probably skip dinner unless they revamp the menu. Either way, it’s worth a visit for the setting alone. This review is solely based on the restaurant as we did not stay at BijBlauw.

Steak for 2 was very good, you may want to tell them one step up on your done-ness. Ordered medium, and it came back medium rare but I don’t mind! Very nice calm spot for a meal. Will be back for breakfast!

Hands down the best truffle risotto I’ve had in my life! So creamy and flavourful, every bite was heavenly. Highly recommended!!
Mauro P — Google review
(Restaurant only) The prices here are ridiculously high for some storebought food. The main dinners came in intervals of a couple minutes and half were lukewarm. They overcook the meat more than what you ask for and are prickly when you mention it. Just to give you an example of the prices they ask for (probably due to the nice scenic location); a 33cl bottle of Coca Cola is $7. A cocktail is about $20+ and comes with icecubes filled to the bottom. The most ridiculous part of it all was that they sell wine bottles for $100-$120, even though these exact same wine bottles go for no more than $15 in a supermarket. Absolutely would not recommend coming here for food unless you want to waste a ton of money for a price of which you can eat 2 full days. Rather go to an authentic Antilian place if you're looking for some good food.

Nestled within the stunning grounds of Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort, the Bayside Boutique Hotel Curacao is a hidden gem for travelers seeking a serene escape. This charming hotel boasts spacious and airy accommodations, complete with modern amenities and breathtaking views that could easily be mistaken for a postcard. Guests can enjoy an inviting outdoor pool, tennis courts, and delightful dining options right on-site.
We just came home from another wonderful stay at the Bay Side Boutique Hotel in Curaçao. We again had a wonderful time and we are looking forward to going there again in the near future. The restaurant is something different. The restaurant is really understaffed. The people working there are doing a terrific job: they really work very hard and are always very friendly. It is absolutely not their fault that we sometimes had to wait longer. As the restaurant admits guests not staying in the hotel it can get very busy. Just 2 waiters serving so many guests is simply not enough. Furthermore we do hope the diner menu will be changed. Serving hopelessly outdated French dishes is in my opinion not a good idea for a beach resort. Curaçao has a delicious local cuisine, but this restaurant serves none.

Wonderful experience at the Boutique hotel. Came back home about three weeks ago and still dreaming of the beautiful beach with amazing snorkeling right of the shore. Views are really ones of the postcards. Hotel is really 2 minutes walk to it’s entrance. Room was very comfortable, service was really good. Melissa Batte and her staff make everything possible to accommodate their guests but there is really not much to ask for. Jill at the front desk and Mathias, trainee, are very friendly and eager to assist with any little thing we needed. Restaurant is great for breakfasts that were included with our stay. Denise, waitress, and a bartender (sorry! His name slipped…) were great. Dinner on the first night after we checked in was okay after a long day of travel and one time was enough. Tried other places on the beach and outside of the resort. Loved tuna at Vesserij. We rented a car - great to have free parking right by the hotel - and it made it really convenient to explore Curaçao a little bit as it was really difficult to leave Blue Bay even for a few hours. Hope to return and stay longer next year see other beaches then (Jill: we still have a list of your favorite beaches and places to explore next time!).

Everything was great. The beach is 30 seconds walking from the hotel and is one of the most beautiful beaches in Curacao, crystal clear water, and pretty fishes near the shore. Breakfast is also very good and the service is also great, the rooms are very comfortable and have a very good size. I would stay here again anytime.

We stayed here last week and we loved everything! The holiday was a gift of my husband for my 40th birthday and it was amazing… from the food (we had the breakfast every morning and also a dinner here) to the staff and service (always available and helpful besides so professional)! The white bluebay beach is 5min walking from the hotel, with the sunbeds, the cafè and the 3 restaurants, all so delicious! ✨ We also rented the car with the hotel, and the service was perfect: the brought us the car that we kept for 3 days to visit also the other beaches and Willemstad! Awesome was also the surprise organized by my husband with the hotel in the room! Thanks for everything and hope to see you again! 🤩✨

The best part to stay in the island. Perfect location, close to south and north. Amazing service, and the best food we tried in Curaçao. The beach is quiet and relaxing. If you are looking for more noisy beaches, mambo is a better option for you. This is more a family oriented and peaceful place
Johanna Q — Google review
The beach is fantastic for snorkeling, and not crowded at all! You can see all kinds of fish without having to drive anywhere, there are reefs right there. The hotel is literally 50-100 meters from the beach, one minute walk. The service was good, the rooms were comfortable and clean. The food at the restaurant was fine, but not the most exciting and a bit expensive. The pizza and ice cream trucks were surprisingly great! Might make sense to rent a car and go to a supermarket if you want cheaper snacks. The food angle is more than compensated by the absolutely fabulous location. They also sell reef-friendly sunscreen, mosquito repellent and the like on premises for not sky high prices (compared to what I saw in Mexico). All our requests were accommodated without any issue. The staff were very nice. Very comfortable beds. And no parties, very restful sleep! Also the toiletries were good quality and smelled nice. If you go snorkeling and forgot the defogging agent, you can buy it at the diving store on the beach, best 12 USD I spent this year. The lady at the store was incredibly helpful with snorkeling gear advice and also helped us deal with a few small jellyfish stings (you'll only get them if you swim out to the edge of the rock barriers and get unlucky, we didn't get any while staying within the barriers). One thing to know is there are a bunch of stairs. No elevator. If you have mobility issues it might be uncomfortable. There might be an accessible way to the side, but the main entrance is up two flights of stairs.
Anna S — Google review
The location is great, not far from the airport or the city and just a few steps away from the beach and the Brass Boear Curaçao Restaurant, both amazing! For the price, this hotel offers everything you need, and some more. The service is top. For instance, they don't have elevator, but the staff will go above and beyond to spoil you and make sure you don't have to worry about it. I liked the decoration a lot, they have good taste. I stayed in a standard room and it was big, quiet and clean. Also, it was very easy to communicate with them via email or/and whatsapp. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Nestled in the stunning landscape of Curaçao, the Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort is a luxurious haven that opened its doors in 2021. Just a short drive from Curacao International Airport, this resort offers polished accommodations and an array of amenities for guests seeking relaxation and adventure alike. With its proximity to attractions like Landhuis Blauw and Blue Bay Beach, visitors can easily explore the vibrant local culture.
The property itself was lovely—just as pictured. It was new, clean, and very charming. There is still some construction in the surrounding area, which didn’t obstruct the views of the ocean from the room but it did detract somewhat from the overall aesthetics and made it harder to take nice photos outdoors by the pool. They were literally working on landscaping while we were there so I’m sure the next time we visit the property the visual appeal will be perfected. The front desk was responsive and very helpful. A car is definitely needed to get around the island & parking at the resort is very easily accessible. The beach on the property is charming & the resort offers a good variety of restaurants and bars & activities including beach-front massages. Lemongrass (restaurant next to the main office), had the best hot wings! Overall, I’d give the property a 8.5/10.

I was today at the front office at 12:15 pm and I asked since is my birthday if it possible to upgrade my booking so i can get the Jazmyn and my dream stay for at least my bday. I was told i should send an email with the screenshot but at the same time that they will see if it possible to upgrade it since it is a huge difference. I think that’s not great to act like i cannot pay it because im colored nor that I can’t get it for that price. Im a booking member so i do get discounts. When called i was told that they tried to match it as much as possible for 268$ but when i came by the front office lady told me 250$. Then they had several questions for me on the phone, if it’s for me etc etc. Mind you my wife and I are already staying here for a week already. Which was not cleaned, no instructions, no QR code given. Wanted to charge deposit (250$) of the room per person and not for accommodation. When you want to change the dates they won’t help you eventho you have already paid for it. There were insects and roach so pest control did not do their job properly. Electricity usage is not enough (30kwh) for a villa of 3 rooms and bathrooms. So had to pay extra for that too. Pool of Jazmyn is small. Be aware they are not colored people friendly.

Great place for the nature loving outdoors person. That's not me. I wish screens were available on the plantation shutters to keep the bugs and lizards out. We stayed at the gardens. Place was very spacious and clean. Had everything we needed. Grocery stores were nearby. You will need a car when staying here, everything is spread out and there is no room service/ meal delivery available if you want food from one of the resorts restaurants. I loved the beach, very peaceful and serene. The only reason I gave 4 stars on the room was because the floor in the second room was swelling and the tile was coming up. The host said that we didn't have to use the room, if we didn't need to. Well, I needed to, me and my other guest are not a couple ( I did not want to sleep in a room with him).

There's construction of new units, so you see fenced off areas, but it does not take away from it's beauty. Our unit was very clean, and nicely decorated. Our hostess Catalina was always pleasant and available for assistance. We would definitely come back.

The villas are very beautiful however, the service is not good at all. My friend and I booked a stay here for one night to celebrate my birthday and the staff failed to inform us that the property uses adapters only to plug in any devices to charge. This was not even a part of the information provided on the website. We asked the front desk staff to purchase two and they claimed to have in stock. They then did not respond any further, making us drive down to reception to speak to them and they then said that they had none available. The nearest convenience store was about 20 minutes away as all of the supermarkets close early in curacao. I ended up having to cancel my birthday dinner reservation because no one could charge their devices. I then asked the staff for a late checkout as compensation and I received a very aggressive response saying that this was not available to me. The only help we received was from one very good employee at the lemon grass restaurant. Other than that, the service was terrible and the location was far from stores etc. I’m very disappointed by my stay here.

This hotel is a little out of the way but was worth it. We were able to check into the hotel right at the airport when upon arrival and they even upgraded our room to a full water view. All through our stay the staff took the time to stop, speak with us and check to see if there was anything we needed. The pools and beach are uncrowded, beautiful and clean. The food and restaurant staff are amazing. We highly recommend the Shore restaurant at sunset, just beautiful.

This place is wow! Spectacular! The views are really amazing. Family vacation at its best. Snorkeling, golf, tennis, mountain biking and nice swimming pools. Kayaks are available for rent and scuba is also offered. The best thing was the room service staff! So courteous and friendly. The only complaint was that the resort is still undergoing minor renovations and repairs. We needed multiple light bulbs replaced on our first day. Our headboards were peeling and old. Otherwise our room was beautiful. The place was not crowded and the staff really helpful.

It's expensive all around for both food and drink, but it's well worth the extra money to stay here. All the rooms have good views, and the weather is great, even if it's windy at times (although the main building does a great job of shielding most of the outdoor areas from the wind).

Good service, friendly staff and nice beach. Food was good but it was hard to attain vegetables. Unfortunately there was not much dancing, or entertainment offered. There was a bonfire scheduled but it was cancelled, which was a big disappointment. Definitely a good trip for early birds but there wasn't much nightlife. A good relaxing family vacation spot, but don't expect much partying or events.

The best resort so relaxing ,service was amazing. They set the room up for our daughters Birthday Day, simply amazing. If you just want to get away and relax this is definitely the place to go.10 stars love it. Thank you for making our stay great

This place is gorgeous and the food is great. The only reason I am giving it three stars is for the lack of communication about all inclusive pricing. We were told that it would cost $165 per day for our party of two people, only to find out at checkout it was $165 per person per day. We spent the same amount on food as we did on our hotel. You would be much better off buying each meal/drink by itself - all inclusive is definitely not worth it.

The Santa Barbara Resort was amazing. The facilities are as clean as a hospital, everything is maintained impeccably, and the level of comfort is off the charts. The food is outstanding and the drinks are made right every time. The views are carefully framed to enhance the island experience. I highly recommend the Santa Barbara.

We spent a day here as an excursion from our cruise ship. The property is beautiful. The service was not good at all. There were some of us traveling together. We couldn't get service at the pool or the bar without requesting it two or three times. One of the bartenders would only wait on the guys in our party and ignored the women. The food was good. All in all I would not go back here. It was a $100 per person excursion.

The Floating Market in Curacao is a vibrant and colorful part of the island's history, connecting it to nearby Venezuela. Traders from Venezuela arrive by small boats along the Waaigat Canal to sell fresh tropical fruits, vegetables, fish, spices, artwork, and gifts. The market is located in the Punda district of Willemstad and offers a picturesque setting with Dutch-inspired architecture and pastel-colored buildings.
Lots of great fresh fruits and vegetables! Loved haggling with the Venezuelan sellers. They are quite quick to get your attention but ask questions and be firm in highlighting what you want and don't want. Very decently priced! Found some of my favourite tropical fruits; Governor plums - sweet, juicy and as delicious as they've always been from my childhood. Also found some great bell peppers and avocados for our toast.

Must visit when in Curaçao!!!! The vibrant colors of the vegetables and fruits reminds me of my childhood in Guyana. So many options to choose from and to top it off, there are fresh fishes to choose from as well!!!

Experience the flavors of Curaçao at the floating market, where locals and Venezuelan vendors offer their fresh fruits, veggies and tropical vibes.
Repi N — Google review
Interesting spot. It’s not actually floating, the merchants come by boat and set up stalls along the road. Not huge but worth a visit. About half the vendors sell produce primarily to the locals (good prices, we did pick up a few things) and the other half have the same touristy souvenirs that all the shops have.
Kimberly K — Google review
It was a really nice experience! There were lots of people selling fresh fruits, many of them brought over from Venezuela to Curacao just for the market. I also saw plenty of women selling souvenirs and unique items for tourists. Definitely a great spot to visit and spend a little money while enjoying the local culture.

Nestled in the heart of Willemstad, Bario Hotel offers a vibrant and casual atmosphere perfect for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure. Just a short stroll from iconic landmarks like Queen Emma Bridge and Rif Fort, this charming aparthotel features an inviting outdoor pool, a rooftop terrace with stunning views, and lush gardens to unwind in. Guests can indulge in delicious meals at Bario Urban Streetfood or grab a quick bite at the on-site café.
I went to the Bario restaurant since I wanted to visit this place for a long time but was always crowded yet now I know why... the food is excellent and the venue too. You feel like if you're in a bistro, it has this relaxing bohemian atmosphere I just loved. What ever you ask for is amazing. I had the BBQ ribs which I was craving for days and it exceeded my expectations. The meat was perfectly tender, it just fell out of the bone... delicious!

We truly enjoyed our stay - Room was comfortable and we liked having a separate living room space. Close to the pontoon bridge and a number of fantastic restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel shouldn't be missed and I'm not a breakfast eater. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful - Stephanie coordinated everything we decided to do and answered all our questions - Would absolutely go back

I stayed at Bario Hotel from 9/18/25 to 9/26/25. I was fairly happy with my experience for most of the time I was there. Only thought that the bed was not made in the way you would expect of a hotel, with a blanket and sheets that were not that nice or too small for the bed. However the staff was nice and when I asked for my room to be freshened up they were accommodating. My experience was unfortunately ruined on the last night, and for that I take away three stars. On 9/26 there was a private party at the bar of the hotel that made it impossible to sleep. I came to Curaçao on business, and at the end of the week I was tired. They only informed me of the event an hour before it was going to start and “invited” me to the party. When I asked for some sort of compensation in the morning for lack of sleep the night before, the manager used this “invitation,” which was more of a forced imposition of unwanted noise, as some sad excuse for the unprofessional behavior they subjected the guests of the hotel that night. I went into the reviews and noticed that at least one other person had a similar experience a few years ago. So this is common practice for the hotel when there are private events. They couldnt even give me breakfast as compensation when I asked. The intern at the front desk was nice and gave me coffee. The right thing to do would be to inform me of this event at booking or the moment I arrive a week prior. I would not stay at Bario Hotel again based on this experience. Only give two stars for the staff (minus the manager) being nice and the location.

We stayed at the Bario Hotel 3 times this year so, you know it's very good. The location is perfect in the heart of all the nice things in the Otrobanda and Punda area. You can walk everywhere, it's all within a mile or so. The rooms are very nice, in old houses they made the apartments. That's why you get the very local feeling. Also the staff at the reception is very friendly. It has a nice little pool to relax, a big free car parking. I can recommend it to everyone!

Bario Hotel is really great, its beedrooms are amazing and super clean. The hosts are amazing, they will help you with anything you may need. The hotel is close to everything in Willemstad, it is a few steps away from Queen Emma bridge. If you rent a car, you wont have any prob since they have a big parking lot.

I was very impressed with the size of our apartment. It had two large bedrooms with a spacious kitchen and living room and also a large bathroom. We felt very comfortable there. The food at the restaurant was very good and the service was quick and amazing. All of the staff were friendly, positive, kind-hearted and helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal since it's so close to shops and restaurants. My only suggestion for improvement is that the restaurant should have more vegan options on the menu. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Curacao.

Bon Bini Seaside Resort is a peaceful, unpretentious resort with bungalows overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea. It's positioned close to family-friendly Mambo Beach, and offers panoramic views of the surroundings. The resort also features an outdoor pool and sun terraces.
My stay at Bon Bini Resort was absolutely fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made my vacation even more special. The location is perfect, peaceful yet close to the lively Mambo Beach. The resort is an oasis of tranquility, but with everything you need within reach. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and comfort of the resort.

Wanting better service with cleaning since we are vacation, cleaning only Monday Wednesday and Friday, and they do no dishes, stayed here for three weeks. Bed sheets have not been changed in over a week, I do more sheet changing at home. Main living area is super hot, air only in bedrooms. Our two bedroom bungalow was new, looked great, huge deck. Location is excellent, nice pool, safe, with better service this would be a four star for sure!

Was initially really excited about staying here, but it wasn’t at all what we expected. The room was uncomfortably hot. The front door was a wooden slat door with no screening. The bedroom was the only room with A/C and it only works if the key card is inserted into the control box, so there was no way to keep the room even slightly cooler while away. No screens on doors or windows so mosquitoes were a problem. Stains on the doors, walls, and ceiling. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. TV’s were very small. 5 minutes after entering our room, we attempted to talk to the staff about our expectation vs. what we walked into (we had booked for a week) We hoped for at least a few days refund, and were told that a $59 refund is all they would offer. We immediately found much more comfortable accommodations at the Royal Sea Aquarium Hotel very close by. So disappointed with the bungalow and the service. Only benefit to this place is the central location.

Amazing Stay at Bon Bini Resort! I had such an amazing time staying at Bon Bini Resort! The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from Mambo Beach Boulevard, which means endless opportunities for swimming, shopping, partying, and relaxing all in one spot. What really made the stay feel extra special was the private BBQ right outside our apartment. It gave the whole experience a cozy, at-home vibe, and we ended up grilling a few nights during our stay. It’s those little touches that make a big difference! The resort itself was peaceful, clean, and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend Bon Bini Resort to anyone looking for a laid-back, comfortable place with everything you need close by. Can’t wait to come back!

The location is GREAT its like a 4 minute walk to mambo beach blvd and the beach with great shops and a few good resturants. The front desk woman was great. She even went out of her way to help us get a rental and offered tips on where to get gas and shop. The security guards were friendly as well. The bungalow we had was spacious and included a fridge, stove and cooking utensils. We had a back porch with a table, a few nights we ate outside on the back porch. The only thing is the bathroom needs updating. The toliet looked run down and was stained.

The hotel's prime location provides easy access to Jan Thiel Beach, Mambo Beach, Curacao Sea Aquarium, and Blue Bay.
From the time you walk in to this beautiful little place the customer service is amazing and attentive. The place is super clean and the location is superb. 2.00 will get you to Mambo Beach, walk behind the Citco bank and the little street is quaint and if you happen to be there in a Thursday or Saturday you are bound to have a good time. The beds are very comfortable and the privacy shades are good to gives you a feel if china capsule beds. Oh and it was filled with a lit of older mature people. The best 200 for 5 night stay!!!!
Karen S — Google review
Good location. Beds comfortable and clean. There seems to be some disconnect in how the hostel portrays and what they really are. For example, bikes are definitely NOT free. Kitchen only has one working microwave and NO STOVE. The staff seems inexperienced with exception of Anita who was very helpful and genuine. She went out of the way to get more info to answer my questions. The rest of the staff did not seem serious about their job, talking about broken relationships while at the desk with guests around. They did not know the answer to most common hostel questions like good tour activities (free walking tour was great) , public bus info (there is a really good bus app called ABC), or where to exchange money (no actual banks nearby, only ATMs but the Chinese supermarket does exchange). Dorms are in good shape but rest of facilities are run down. Bathroom and other general cleaning is partial and inconsistent. Would recommend more staff training, removing “free bikes” from advertising and improvements to the kitchen if owners/managers are reading this. This has potential to be a really great hostel.
Ana L — Google review
I stayed in a private room for 6 nights, the bed was comfy, the AC was powerful, and the facilities were very clean. Someone came to my room everyday and did a general clean for me which is greatly appreciated. The staff here are excellent, but I did feel it was a bit overpriced for what it was. It’s worth mentioning that the location is fantastic though, and there is lots of free parking on the street. Also a note - the walls in the rooms are extremely thin, you will hear absolutely everything outside so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper!
Rhin L — Google review
The review is based on the fact that this is a hostal. The location is perfect. We booked a superior room which was nice and clean. The staff needs some more education. However, greate value for the price in a posh hostal.

Really nice place, the people here are friendly and all ready to help. It’s a good location close to the center, but far from the better beaches, but you easily can get access to there if you have a car or use the local bus!
Flávio A — Google review
They upgraded me from a shared bunk in a dorm with five other women to a private room with en-suite bathroom for free, so maybe I am starting out with a positive bias towards them! The location was perfect, right in the central business district, with everything you need within walking distance. Loved being so close to shopping, supermarket, pharmacies, breathtaking scenery, one of the best beach clubs I’ve ever been to… the list just goes on and on. No pool or beach access but it’s so easy to get to the beach; this is like the one place where buses actually depart every 15 mins or so, or someone can probably just give you a ride. Just wish there was more of a central hangout spot, preferably with A/C, to encounter other travelers. The kitchen and lobby are where I met most of the other guests, and those spaces are not super well ventilated! Thankful for the A/C and clean full bathroom in my room!

Great spot, right in the heart of Willemstad. Staying in a single, non share room & whilst small still has every comfort required. Bed super comfortable! Great upstairs terrace/dining area with kitchen (basic but has most essentials). Staff at the front desk are lovely & helpful. Would recommend if you need somewhere central.

I really enjoyed my stay here! I was in a 6-dorm all female room. The room was clean, showers and toilets just down the hall. Felt like I had a good amount of privacy with the curtains coming down in front of my bed and enough space to lay my stuff out. Only thing I did not like was how hot it was in the common rooms (like bathroom, kitchen, hallways). Literally like a sauna but the bedroom had A/C.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, offering beautiful views that made every morning special. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced diver, they make sure you feel safe and enjoy every moment.

Papagayo Beach hotel is a nice hotel with somewhat outdated rooms. It has everything you need, but it also needs some attention regarding maintenance modernization. There are no elevators, so staying on the third floor, means up the stairs with your suitcases after a long flight. The staff is really nice and give you a welcome feeling, the breakfast is good, as well as the bars, and the restaurant is really a treat.
Erik M — Google review
We went here to celebrate a wedding of a close friend about a week ago. We had some suspicious activity with one of the maids before we left dinner on our last night. A maid randomly showed up late in the day, after the room was already cleaned. That is when we were ROBBED. It was our last night while we were out to dinner. They took the equivalent of almost $1000 in cash out of multiple rooms in our villa while we were at dinner. When we reported it to the office the next day at check out, they said "we wish you would have told us this sooner, not when you are checking out." I kindly informed the woman that they just ROBBED us on our last night, like they were anticipating stealing from us right before we left. Management promised to follow up and conduct an investigation, however it has now been almost 10 days since we left, and nobody has had even the slightest decency to follow up. DO NOT BOOK HERE unless you want to be ROBBED and lied to. Untrustworthy staff, will never book here again.
McMahon E — Google review
I really wanted to like this place. Let me start with the service. Management is definitely doing something wrong because you can tell the people working here are overworked, unmotivated, unhappy and in turn not willling to go the mile for their customers. I'm also 6 month pregnant. 1) I arrived on a Sunday night, with my husband's airline crew and there was no room service available after 10 pm after our 10 hour flight. Went to bed starving. No close area nearby without car access. 2) We woke up at 7am for breakfast, and because they had 3 functions the night before, they were far from being ready for breakfast service. The food was poorly done in taste and presentation. The breakfast the next morning however much much better. 3) At lunchtime, I ordered Jerk Chicken and Mahi Mahi with rice from the poolbar cafe. It took 1.5 hours for the food to arrive. Their excuse, again the event last night, but the truth is the workers don't care. My server didn't even put my order in, until I approached the manager 45minutes later. They didn't care to follow up with my order. It was so disorganized you could tell other customers were frustrated with the service as well. A caramel frapp sat at the bar until it melted because they didn't deliver it to the customer waiting by the pool. When the food arrived, it was disgusting. I threw up because the food was poorly prepared, both meats overcooked, underseasoned. It took 20 minutes to pay the bill after pressuring them. 4) I was feeling ill and requested a taxi to the pharmacy. The front desk said a 20-30 minute wait, but we waited almost an hour. At the 40 min mark I asked them to call the driver to find out a rough ETA. Service Quality is POOR. Why do I have to chase for service? Why can't they be proactive and problem solve. This was the common issue. They can do much much better. I don't blame workers, I blame training and work culture or lack off. Rooms were decent. No issues other than the lack of maintenance. i.e stains in sink, broken lights. Pillows suck! Location for a resort/hotel actually great. Close to restauraunts, shops, groceries and walking distance for very short term stays without a car. Very family friendly. They are lucky the beach amneties and the ocean makes up for everything else.
Shikara S — Google review
Very good hotel. The island was out of power, but the rooms were unaffected. People are friendly and the complex has great restaurants.
Laura G — Google review
The other reviews are correct you should want to stay in the hotel rather than the resort because I do feel like the hotel is more modern and nicer and we really had a good time here compared to our last place however it can get loud at night with the parties and the hotel should really do something about that because it just keeps guests off until 1:00 in the morning. However that didn't throw my experience off as much as some of the other things I feel like this hotel is a little bit mismanaged in terms of checking who's for the buffet and who is for the pool and who needs to park. Are there resorts have you check in once and they immediately know your face or you swipe your room key to get into everywhere. However for some reason whenever you're going to breakfast or parking your car and it takes them like 5 minutes to do it; like why? The guy I was dealing with yesterday should at least recognise my face right now I had a conversation with him, why check they sheet again you see my papagayo bag and room key, im obviously staying here. Oh and we talked yesterday. It would not hurt to remember your guests a little bit. I just assumed they have so much riff-raff coming in from the bars across the way that they need to check everyone religiously. Oh and land scapping every morning. Which is great for the hotel but hearing a leaf blower every single morning at 6:00 a.m. when you are trying to enjoy the sunrise on your balcony just kills the experience. The maid service also knocked on the door asking if we got service the first day meaning they didn't do it right the first time. Just most of the experience it seemed like the staff did not care or was having a miserable day, expect for thr guy at the lobby who checked us in which was a quick experience. Im sure thr hotel is paying them nothing so that is not their fault. A great location though so close to shops/restaurants beach pools, you dont need a rental car but i had one anyway and I'm glad I did since they're laundry is like insanely expensive. All in all it was not a terrible experience I just think that they can do certain things to improve the guest experience and really bring it up to five stars. Get rid of the security checkpoints every 5 seconds since this is a resort not a prison lol.

A lot of noise sinds we arrived until late in the night. They said it was because of a private party.. it is now the 4th day.. not able to fall asleep before 1 am. We had a good chat with the staff, they had to talk to management and came up with a decent solution for the loss of 4 days holiday. We believe anyone can get another chance after a problem comes up and are happy they did come with a good solution. Thanks to the staff of papagayo we’ll hope to have the rest of our holiday with a bigger smile than the last days

Located in Jan Tiel, we really enjoyed our time here in Curacao. The staff here are extremely nice and helpful. There is a small private beach and our room had beautiful views of the ocean. One issue right now is that the spa is closed so you cannot book that if you're looking for massages on your vacation. Hopefully that will be back soon. They have a great gym which is large and spacious. There is also a grocery store on property- super helpful and useful! Over all we liked it here a lot. Maybe next time we will come with a larger group and grab a villa.

Great location & Great service , only things we did not like was our actual room we booked was not available so we were one floor down but was still a great room and they actually gave us a cash refund when we left. There was no face towels in bathrooms to shower, must bring your own ( which we did not know) no paper towls in kitchen. A.C is only in bedrooms, when we left room it would shut down so we left one key card in the slot to keep AC going while we were gone otherwise it was stuffy when we came back to room. No room service but front desk did have very large bottled water we could purchase and that really helped. Its right next ro all the great beaches and lots of places to eat. Theres a great breakfast place on the boardwalk called Bliss, great food all over. The greenhouse and one with a big ❤️ out front which was great. Beaches all serve food, beach chairs were about $5 each day but so many to choose from. Overall We still give it 5 stars because its a great location and View from the upper sea view rooms. I wish we could have stayed a minimum of one week. ( we stayed 4 nights). Can’t wait to go back for at least one week. So much more to do.

TLDR: I regretted booking this place and wish we had done more research before. Pros: - very clean apartments - well equipped kitchen that is very comfortable to cook in - very spacious apartment for a family with 2 young kids Cons: - the pool is NOT great for small kids, it is for adults and mostly deep - right next to the awful Sunscape which leads to excessive noise that one cannot enjoy the baloncy as well as a hideous view - right next to a river that emits a bad smell - right behind an unattractive building which ruins the view - the ‘seaview’ apartments hardly offer a seaview (see picture). We had to upgrade and pay lots more money to get an actual seaview on the 3rd floor. So, false advertising. - no sense of being taken care of and zero luxury feeling. Paying close to $400 a night, one expects a lot more. - paying that price and then being expected to take out your own trash, being charged extra for an additional bed change, not following up on additional requests and not offering free coffee is the worst service I have ever experienced at that price point. - they do not have a deal with any of the beaches, so you have to pay for a sun bed and beach entry everyday. - the noise levels from all the bars make this place very unrelaxing. - this is not a luxury place Overall, I would advise against this place if you’re looking for an upscale stay. The only highlights about being located at Mambo (which you still have to pay extra for as mentioned) is that the water is very safe for small kids (ours are 6 and 4) so the parents can relax. And there are nice restaurants of which Mood is the best.

It was quite hot during my stay on Curacao. A living room without air conditioning is unbearable. There is also a bad smell on the balcony (west side). Smells like poop. For the rest, all was good. The location is perfect if you like the hustle and bustle. And I have nothing to complain about the service. I had a great holiday!

This is a great place to stay with your spouse or your spouse and kids. The staff our super professional, friendly, and customer service oriented and seemed to go out of there way to insure that all of our expectations were met. Our apartment was easily large enough for my wife and adult children to stay comfortably. The beds are extremely comfortable. But the best part of it all are the views of the ocean and surrounding area. We also really enjoyed having access to the beaches, restaurants and shops nearby. We will definitely visit this place again soon.
Wes M — Google review
Appartements are large and well equiped. Beds ok for the twins, good for the large, but pillows uncomfortable. Convenient access to the beach. Swimming pool unattractive because surrounded by apartments on the base ground. Worse point is the noise, making the overall experience rather bad: outdoor parties on wed and Fri until 2 am. And on terrace all along the days, you hear aircos, mixed music from the beach bars, delivery trucks on parking lots around.

Nice place to stay. Clean pool, clean rooms, friendly staff. Private parking space. All that I want. Today it's called "De Lynne resorts"

It is pretty good here. It's nice, quiet, and there is a grocery store just a 10 min walk away, and there is a bus stand in front. The entire place is 10 min bus ride from Otobanda/punda. In the time I've been here there have been no problem. the rooms are fully furnished, so I've had no problem making my own food when I wanted to, but there is a family owned diner next door.

The hosts are friendly and accommodating, providing helpful information and even welcoming guests with homemade rum. The waterfront property is equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay, including a well-stocked kitchen and cozy living space. Guests can also take advantage of amenities such as a vintage jeep for beach hopping and island exploration.
It was a great week with the Tommy Coconut crew! They were super helpful and a lot of fun to get to know. The house was great and the beds were comfortable. We took them up on their offer for a sunset cruise and that was a really nice evening with some of their other guests. Such a fun time with them! They are truly concerned about making your trip amazing. Overall, we loved Curaçao and booking with this crew made everything that much better. The beaches, the snorkeling and the overall vibe was so nice. We enjoyed Klein Curacao and Shete Boka. I would suggest hitting some of the local beaches on the west side too!). It was nice to have a few restaurants to walk to after a long day at the beach. Thank you Tommy Coconut crew for a great week and a fun truck to drive around :)

From beginning to end, our stay was seamless. It’s hard to define the top notch service the Tommy Coconut family provides, it’s all-encompassing and beyond compare. Even our lighthearted SOS request for more rum was quickly delivered with enthusiasm! The EV allowed us the opportunity to truly experience the island and the people. Highlights of our stay were both our private and Family Night cruises. The apartment and grounds were meticulously maintained and the outdoor entertainment area provided the perfect beginning and ending to our days.
Judy A — Google review
INCREDIBLE! By far the best experience I’ve had on Airbnb in my 13 years using the platform. Boy, Ray, and the entire Tommy Coconut family have completely reimagined what it means to be an Airbnb host. The package they offer for stays over 7 days truly feels like a gift that keeps on giving. But beyond that, it’s their kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail that set them apart—unlike anything I’ve experienced before. I can’t thank them enough for the thoughtful gestures they made for our little girl, who felt like a princess throughout our entire stay. Curaçao is already a wonderful place, but the Tommy Coconut crew makes it somewhere you’ll want to return to again and again. Since we’ve been back, we’ve recommended the place countless times. I never take the time to write reviews, but I had to for this one. I can guarantee you’ll have the most amazing time in Curaçao with Tommy Coconut!
Carolyn M — Google review
I don’t even have the words to describe the experience I had in Curaçao—it was truly the best vacation of my life! The island itself is paradise, but our hosts somehow made paradise feel even more magical. The house was impeccable, and my family and I felt like we had our very own private haven. Relaxing with a drink by the pool and then moving to the hot tub was such a highlight! The car was a gem—we absolutely loved it and kept talking about how much we’d like to have one of our own. Every little detail made our vacation priceless. I honestly can’t wait to come back! The dushi island life is on our hearts. A huge thank you to Ray, Britt, Raymond, Boy, and everyone who made our stay unforgettable.
Yara R — Google review
To say we had a wonderful time is an understatement. We booked a full 7 days and the perks of that were phenomenal! Airport pick up/drop off was seamless and the attention to detail was impeccable once arriving to the property. My husband and 3 daughters could not have had an easier, more enjoyable week. The Tommy Coconuts family was welcoming and kind hearted. There love of hosting was felt in all the details- from the home tour, restaurant recs, to the evening boat cruise. You will not be disappointed!
Meredith P — Google review
The Tommy Coconut team went above and beyond to make our stay at Happy Hideaway the very best that it could be! The apartment was private, yet the minute we needed something someone was there to help. The guided check-in and welcome was wonderful and got our week off to a perfect start, complete with groceries already in the fridge. The home is decorated beautifully, was absolutely immaculate, and we're still missing the beds! On top of all of that, the value-added package was awesome and absolutely everything they promised. The SUV was a fantastic way to explore the island, and we had a lovely sunset cruise with Ray, Boy and another couple. They were wonderful hosts, and the whole team does all they can to put you at ease and show you a great time. They even helped to arrange a surprise Mother's Day massage that was one of the best I've every had! Such incredible service and the little surprises throughout our week warmed our hearts and left us looking forward to returning one day... hopefully soon!

Highly recommend. Great property - exactly as described, comfortable layout and furnishings to relax and socialize during our stay. The veranda is private and adds a sizable outdoor living space. Pool was clean and quiet this time of year. No challenges accessing the six pool loungers. Hosts were incredibly responsive, providing proactive communication, helpful tips and recommendations, and willing to assist with groceries, drivers, and reservations. Location is walkable to a few restaurants and 5-10 minute drive to many others and a grocery store. Highly recommend renting the iCar. It was in pristine condition and made travel around the island convenient and comfortable.

It's conveniently situated within a 15-minute drive of Mambo Beach and Curacao Sea Aquarium, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Guests can take advantage of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access, concierge services, and bicycle rentals.
This is a wonderful place to stay within walking distance of the downtown area (~15min), shops, and restaurants. The accommodations aren’t anything extravagant, but very clean and comfortable. The host is especially helpful.
Laura C — Google review
Great place to stay on a budget. The owner/manager went out of his way to accommodate me when my flight was delayed and I lost a key. While the area might be a little sketchy at night, i never felt unsafe in the hotel. Security gates were nice to have. It's walkable to downtown and the resorts.
Nathan O — Google review
Mustique Suites is great for people who like apartment-style accommodations with a touch of hospitality. The manager is extremely friendly and helpful and checks in on you daily. We had a deluxe room with a kitchenette, which is well-equipped with the essentials needed to cook and store your own meals. The location is in Colon, just outside of Otrobanda, but it's still a short walk to local attractions like the Curacao Museum and Kura Hulanda Village. The area is very walkable, and there's a snack center and convenience store with grocery items just a few minutes walk down the street. Although Curacao is very safe and you won't feel bothered walking around the area, the property is gated and secure. Traffic noise can be a little loud if you're facing the street, so be aware if that's something that bothers you.

Nice location! I went there to pick up a friend and I had the opportunity to look around the premises. The location is absolutely nice, but the place itself was under renovation, with a lot of work in progress. In general, I didn't like the setup: I believe it's really crowded.

Hotel
Curacao Gardens at Kas di Laman & Hulanda Village is a centrally located hotel in Willemstad, offering easy access to downtown attractions. The Colonial-style hotel features an outdoor pool, terrace, and garden for relaxation. Guests can enjoy dining at Maira's restaurant with a bar/lounge or take advantage of room service. The owner, Eric, is known for his warm hospitality and care for guests' well-being.
My recent stay at Curacao Gardens Hotel was an unforgettable experience that felt like a personal paradise away from home. From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the lush, vibrant gardens that surrounded the property. The beautifully manicured landscapes create a tranquil environment, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. It's truly a sight to behold, a small slice of paradise that invites you to breathe in nature's beauty. The hotel offers impressive amenities, including free high-speed internet, which made it easy to stay connected during my stay. The pool area is a wonderful spot to chill after a day of exploring, and it beckons you to take a refreshing dip. The hotel's restaurant "maira's kitchen " served delicious meals, providing a delightful taste of local cuisine without having to venture far. One of the aspects that I appreciated the most was the variety of activities available. With bicycle rentals and diving options, there was always something to do for those seeking adventure. Plus, the convenience of having airport transportation made my arrival and departure seamless. As for my house, it was spacious and equipped with everything I needed for an enjoyable stay. The air conditioning was a blessing in the tropical heat, and the seating area was perfect for relaxing after a long day. I loved having a kitchenette with a coffee/tea maker for those early mornings, and the walk-in shower was a spa-like feature that added to the overall comfort of my stay. The cable TV options also provided some great entertainment during downtime. With free parking available, it was convenient for me to explore the nearby attractions at my own pace. The BBQ facilities were an added bonus, perfect for those who enjoy a cookout in the scenic gardens. Overall, Curacao Gardens Hotel is a gem that strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and adventure. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a serene getaway in a beautiful setting. I can’t wait to return to this little piece of paradise!

We had a wonderful stay! Paula was a great host - 5* concierge service included! As the front room did not had real windows it was not real usable due to the outside temperature but the rest of the apartment was fully fine. The breakfast at Maira was always great!
Stefan W — Google review
The owner is not a serious person, we reserved a room with a crib but we did a last time reservation so he said the was no crib available that night but that really early in the morning he would deliver one. On the next day when we arrived in the room from the beach and there was no crib and he didn't even mention that he didn't find it.. probably just forgot about it. We complained and he told us he would give a free transfer to the airport. We accept and it was scheduled for 5 am. We wait from 5 to 5:30 and there was nobody there. It was really early in the morning and we had a 6 month baby with us. We tried to call all taxi companies in Curacao and we could find nobody

I recommend this place. Enjoyed the stay here with the rest of my family very much. Fresh and airy appartments in colourful and stylish houses in center of town. Comfortable and quiet bedrooms with AC. Stayed in a well equipped appartment which had both a safe, washingmachine as well as ironingboard and iron. Though quite a busy one way street outside there was no noice at all reaching the bedrooms. The location is within easy walking distance of the old town district, shops and restaurants but has some distance to any major supermarket if you plan on cooking. Parking was easy just outside on the street. There is a neighbouring bar serving food and drinks but the noice level from the bar was hardly noticable during our 4 day stay.
Mats I — Google review
Great place! Lovely people running this authentic place is walking distance to the centre. They also have a cosy restaurant on the other side of the road with very good and reasonable priced food. Airco in the sleeping rooms and ventilators in the apartments are a good way to manage the heat together with open up the classic windows. Don't forget to take mosquito protection with you! We also used their contact for car rental and that worked just great. Handover of the car in front of the hotel is very handy. Thank you guys for all your assistance and making this a great stay! Wish you well and all the best! V.

A beautiful place in the heart of Willemstad. Eric (the owner) is a very warm person who cares about the well-being of his guests. The hotel's policy of taking a deposit on a credit card and refunding it in cash may be worth discussing prior to arrival if it concerns you.
It is a good place to rest, not so far from the city center. The pool was very adequate, always clean. The interior of the rooms is simple, but adequate for vacations. The people who serve are very friendly. The command of languages is outstanding. Recommended.

The Delynne is a special gem in the middle of one of the most amazing islands in the Caribbean, Curaçao. The property is welcoming, with diversity of guests from all over the world. If you are expecting a Sandals - Club Med type resort where your every whim is met, then this place is not for you. HOWEVER, if you are looking for a place to rest, relax, recharge, and more, then you have found the right place. It is surprisingly peaceful for a property located not too far from the center of Willemstad. The central location allows you to explore the island in all directions on your own. The accomodations are clean, adequately equipped with what you need to make meals (if you feel like it), staff that is kind, helpful, and friendly, and genuinely cares about the condition of the property and the comfort of their guests. You feel at home. We arrived exhausted and spent, and we went home refreshed. We will return. We highly recommend the Delynne.

Little Resort with basic apartments and a pool. It's calm at night. Room and kitchen were clean. Kitchen has most of what you need for two persons. Near the Sambil shopping centre as well as a little local restaurant just next door, so you can get everything you need until 20:00 in the evening. Nestled in the heart of Curacao, Casa Amalia is a charming adults-only guesthouse that beautifully blends comfort with artistic flair. Originally a private residence, this unique hotel has been transformed by a local artist into an inviting retreat where guests can immerse themselves in the island's culture. With warm rooms and apartments surrounding an outdoor pool and courtyard, it offers a serene escape for those seeking quality time and personal attention during their stay.
Perfect place to enjoy a relaxed holiday. Casa Amalia is a beautiful villa with an artsy atmosphere. Most of the time it felt like I was staying with family, everything is so relaxed and easygoing. I stayed in a hotel room, room was big enough with good working airconditioning, big wooden furniture (loved the big comfortable bed) and a nice bathroom with a good shower. Cleaning lady came every other day and took great care of the room. Very nice to come back in a clean room with fresh sheets and towels every time. Casa Amalia has a dipping pool surrounded by sunbeds. The garden has some palm trees, plants and beautiful sculptures. In the back there is a line to dry your towels and bathing suits. Near the pool there is also a small area where you can sit and use the kettle. Neighborhood is quiet and when lying at the pool area you spot parrots and other birds flying around. Early in the morning you can find an iguana strolling around. Jan Thiel beach is walkable, would recommend a car for seeing more of the island.

An excellent adults-only place to stay and enjoy the host's hospitality. To call this a hotel doesn't do it justice. You're staying at the (very comfortable) house of an artist. Do read the description on the website so you'll enjoy your stay even more. The rooms are excellent if you plan on staying there only to sleep, but I recommend the excellent appartements if you wish to have your own space to make your meals. Wonderful place, can't recommend it enough.

The property features a lovely garden and inviting pool, perfect for relaxation after exploring the nearby beach along the bay. With a fully stocked kitchen in each unit, visitors can easily prepare meals using fresh ingredients from a supermarket just five minutes away in Jan Thiel.
My family and I have had the opportunity to enjoy an 8 day stay at La Maya Beach Curaçao. The unit (8e) we stayed in is up a flight of steps with a beautiful view of Spanish Waters. It was a quiet place to stay with access to the pool and a beach along the bay. We made use of the stocked kitchen by shopping at the supermarket only a 5 minute drive away in Jan Thiel and cooking for ourselves. There are many restaurants in the area only a few minutes drive. The tenants were either visiting Curaçao, temporarily working on the island or looking for longer term living. Dutch and Papiemento were the primary languages spoken but we got around okay in English. Come and enjoy the tranquility of this place but rent a car for yourself. BON BINI!

We booked the 'Suite with Kitchen & Balcony' for ten days and had a great time. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying here. Communication with our hosts was great. On arrival, we were picked up at the airport free of charge and our hosts put us in touch with somebody to rent a car last minute. The room itself was very much to our liking: spacious, with a great bed, nice bathroom and a big balcony, where we enjoyed having breakfast in the mornings. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and cook small meals (microwave, fridge, two stove tops, pots and pans, ...). We had hot water and did not have to worry about electricity (according to other listings, it is sometimes metered on the island). We were also provided with pool / beach towels. Room service came every other day, which was perfect for us. The guesthouse is located in the Saliña district. There is a supermarket within walking distance ('Van den Tweel', roughly 15 minutes by foot, though you need to cross a busy road to get there). You can get freshly baked goods there in the mornings. There are also lots of shops and restaurants around, though we mostly ate elsewhere. We recommend also checking out the district in the evening / at night when there are food trucks here that offer affordable, very tasty food at night. As everywhere on the island, there are lots of dogs around barking at you if you are out on foot in the neighbourhood. There is also the occasional stray dog (sometimes friendly, sometimes not so much). That's why we preferred the car over walking.

We had a great time. Centrally located, so stores and eating fascilities are easy to achieve. The staff is very involved and friendly. The rooms (apartments) are super clean, not to mention the swimminpool on a hight of 15 meters. View over Curacao is amazing.

What an amazing place. Very well located, near beaches, downtown, views, etc. The hosts will go beyond the unimaginable to make your experience unforgettable. nice equipped rooms, pool, kitchen area.
Oca S — Google review
The place is beautiful, but you are not allowed to have the air conditioning on during the day. This makes your stay uncomfortable as the heat is unbearable. They just remove the electricity to enforce turning off the air conditioner. For the money they charge this is unacceptable.

(Translated by Google) Great B&B with lovely people, felt like home!!! (Translated by Google) The Dutch-speaking owner Bram will happily pick you up from the airport. It's wonderful when you know after arriving in Curaçao that you don't have to worry about the drive to the B&B. The B&B consists of a beautiful house with four rooms for guests, which are located around the swimming pool and the communal area. The rooms are wonderfully fresh and neatly clean. The owners Bram and Ester ensure that you are fully equipped! They live at the front of the house and are therefore always accessible to guests. You can enjoy a delicious meal for a small price. And grab a drink from the well-stocked refrigerator for a small price. Bram and Ester are happy to provide you with a pleasant evening while enjoying a drink. Consider, for example, a competitive evening of shuffleboard! Unfortunately, Bram is very good at this and you have to practice before you can make it ;) The breakfast is delicious and extensive. What are you craving? A croissant? some hard rolls? a sandwich? gingerbread? Rusks? everything is possible. Delicious with a fresh juice, fresh fruit and a delicious cup of cappuccino. The property also has two apartments, both with private swimming pools. These apartments are located below the rooms. I was able to take a look at the apartments and they are also neat! Do you like coziness, a lovely swimming pool, a nice clean room and do you want to feel as if you are staying with friends? Then SunSeaSleep is definitely the B&B where you should stay. You can easily discover the island from the B&B with a rental car. Do you want to rent a car? Ask if Bram and Esther can help you, they will help you with love!

Beach House Pietermaai is a luxurious oceanfront holiday home located in the historic Pietermaai district, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This exclusive retreat offers stunning sea views and features a private seaside pool for ultimate privacy. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom haven is equipped with modern amenities such as a Nespresso machine, American fridge, and Sonos sound system. Guests can enjoy the tranquil and secluded atmosphere while being within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
Such a wonderful stay at the most beautiful house in Pietermaai! The whole house is amazingly comfortable and all details are in order from very thoughtful hosts. The beds are super comfy, linens are soft and clean. Kitchen has everything including washer dryer, dishwasher oven gas stove and big refrig with ice maker in the door. If you're concerned if the rooms get cooled down with the mini split systems don't worry you will be so comfortably cool. The bathrooms are beautiful with double sink and double rain shower heads in the main and separate WC. Plus the 2nd bedroom is also very comfy and cozy with its own bathroom/shower. The outdoor shower is also an option next to the amazing pool, which is truly spectacular. The views are also so amazing. Sitting outside watching the sea on the daybed from the morning to the night is one of the best things to do. This place is truly the best place to be in Curaçao for a warm tropical holiday. The hosts are very sweet, helpful, and we didnt feel their presence unless we needed them. The backyard is quite private. We will return!

My family's stay at the Beach House Pietermaai, Curaçao, was exceptional, largely thanks to our host, Cindy. Her outstanding hospitality ensured a seamless experience from booking to departure. The Beach House itself, with its breathtaking views and serene ambiance, offered a perfect seaside getaway. Every aspect, from the design to the amenities, was thoughtfully curated to enhance comfort and relaxation. Cindy's recommendations for local dining and activities enriched our visit, showcasing her dedication to guest satisfaction. Her approachable and helpful nature made our stay unforgettable. Overall, the combination of Cindy's hospitality and the unparalleled beauty of the Beach House made our trip to Curaçao a memorable experience. We look forward to returning to this remarkable destination.

We have just returned from the most wonderful stay at Beach House Pietermaai! It exceeded all expectations. The beach house is gorgeous, clean and had such lovely details. The hosts are caring and helpful and made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. We have stayed in vacation rentals all over the world and this one is definitely one of the top ones we've had the pleasure of staying at. The outdoor spaces are out of this world. The sound of the waves, the private pool and the beach house is perfectly appointed. It was very hard to leave this beautiful place at the end of the week. We recommend and hope to one day return to this slice of paradise!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our honeymoon at Beach House Pietermaai. It was a wonderful home in a great location, walkable to many shops and restaurants but completely private and quiet. Once in the gate, all we heard was the dreamy sound of the ocean. The pool was refreshing and very private. There were multiple seating options in the sun and shade. The kitchen was fully functional with all appliances and nespresso machine. (We are now buying a nespresso for our own home 😃). The air con was perfect in the living area and bedrooms. All the furnishings were new and clean. This home is extremely spacious and comfortable. Cindy was extremely responsive and helpful. Her restaurant suggestions were excellent. She has a whole book of recommendations and tips. The surprise of the week was the front row seats to the fireworks display at Punda Vibes on Thursdays. We sat in the sun bed every night and watched the sunset with wine and charcuterie after our afternoon swim. What a delight. The most amazing beaches you’ll ever see are just a car ride away. There is offstreet secure parking you can pay through the house when you rent a vehicle. Very safe. We even left our bags in the car and nothing was bothered. The house is just a few blocks from downtown Punda and the Queen Emma bridge. Pietermaai district offers lots of great restaurants and is only a few blocks away. After renting multiple beachfront homes with private pools on six different Caribbean islands, this is truly the best one we’ve ever stayed in. We can’t wait to return to this slice of paradise.

We just returned home from our amazing stay at Beach House Pietermaai. Absolutely Incredible experience!!! Cindy and David were fantastic hosts, and made sure that everything was perfect for us. The location of the property is perfect for experiencing and walking to some of the best dining on the island. We also rented a car and ventured to amazing beaches not far from the house. This is a one of a kind house that you definitely do not want to miss. If you are considering a truly unique experience, then this is the place to be. We cannot wait to return to Curacao and this beautiful Ocean home.

Fantastic Home Away From Home. We went as a family of four (my wife and I along with two kids, 11 & 9) and it was perfect. It would also be a great spot for just a couple or two couples with plenty of space and privacy. We can’t wait to come back for another stay in the near future! The Space - “Wow” is what you say when you find the listing. “Wow” is what you will say when you arrive. The view is real. Simply incredible. Sunsets were viewable every night and waking up to and falling asleep to the crashing waves is amazing. The kitchen has everything you could need. Bedrooms and bathrooms are well designed and equipped. The pool is perfect for when you just need to take it easy. Laundry machine on-site to cut down on the amount of luggage needed to enjoy your stay is a fantastic convenience. The Location - Nearly everything in the heart Willemstad is within walking distance and we felt safe and without worry. Gated/assigned parking (small extra fee but worth it IMO) is across the street along with an amazing coffee/breakfast spot. Walk left or right and you’ll find amazing restaurant options. To the left of your exit from the home hits all of the core tourist spots. You don’t have to rush or feel pressed given it’s just right down the street to experience it at your own pace. Smaller grocery options and convenience stores are also very close. Driving is highly recommended to get around to the many amazing beaches, larger grocery stores, and other fun spots around the island. It’s easy to get in and out of the area, and the assigned parking helps make it easier with peace of mind always have a parking spot when it can be busier at times and limited street parking. The Hosts - You are in the best of hands with Cindy and David. They have created a phenomenal home away from home for visitors. They live in the house at the front and are easy to reach if needed. After a quick tour of the space and a rundown of the house rules, they hand off the keys and leave you to a wonderful vacation. They are fair and transparent in their pricing and transaction process and just make it easy.

The Beach House was the perfect location for our honeymoon getaway! From the minute we booked our stay with them, Cindy & David were tremendously helpful - providing us with great tips about things to do around the island, booking us an on-site couples massage and arranging airport pick up/drop off. Once we arrived, their accommodating spirit didn't stop! We were welcomed by Cindy & David personally, with a cold bottle of sparkling wine. After showing us around, they were quick to give us our privacy but always remained accessible if we had any questions. The Beach House itself was everything we imagined and more. Mornings here are what dreams are made of - waking up to smell of the ocean and sound of waves crashing, taking a dip in the pool, enjoying our coffee as the sun rose and watching the boats go by was absolutely magical! The location was perfect too. We were never bothered by any outside noise, yet we were within blocks of bustling neighborhoods with dozens of shops, restaurants, entertainment and even as two women, we always felt safe walking around and exploring all that the area had to offer. The local bus system was also around the corner and we found it very cheap and easy to use. Our honeymoon in Curacao was a trip we will NEVER forget and we would HIGHLY recommend The Beach House to other couples traveling here!

(Translated by Google) A hotel to which I would return without hesitation, before booking I saw the reviews, but it exceeded my expectations. We traveled in February with my son. The positive, the facilities and in particular the room (spectacular) very spacious, balcony, a very spacious and complete kitchen, laundry room, and the decoration of 10, another point the kindness of the people at reception (we had a problem with the reservation and was resolved without problems). It has ample parking to leave your car without problems. The negative point was the breakfast, we did not have it included and we paid for it (although we were the first to have breakfast) it was deplorable, without variety, only 3 breads of variety, only espresso coffee and very few fruits. And another negative point is the location, during the day there is little traffic but at night it is dark and very few people, abandoned houses, some homeless people wandering around (but we never had problems with those people, since they don't bother you). Taking out those negative points, it is a totally recommendable price/quality place and you are 700 meters from Punda where the center of Curacao is located.
