Delicious chickpea "torta", add some pepper on it and the beer will be the perfect combination of taste. The pizza was equally good and thin and warm. Definitely great value for the money.

The only thing I found to be really really nice here is the cecina . The pizza are small, and not tradition at all. I would back here only to get some cecina. The castagnaccio is also ok but nothing to get crazy for. Price is high compared to portions and service speed .

Delicious square pizza in a traditional atmosphere. Small size but not expensive. Served on disposable paper. Has a snack character, ideal for in-between meals or as a quick lunch.

We went there the first night and everything was tasty, however when I went to pay it seemed way too much for what we ordered. I didn't ask for the receipt though and I didnt want to ruin a good evening so I let it slide. The second night we went there everything was nice as well, until it came to paying the bill. Again it seemed like it was way too high so I asked for the bill. It had 2 coffees on it even though we hadn't ordered any. I reported the issue and the waitress took what I said very seriously and did her best to straighten things out. However, I have no choice but to leave a 1 star review to underscore that something is not right here (or maybe im just extremely unlucky?).

Nice located restaurant with great food and great services. My husband and I went here for dinner and we were absolutely satisfied with everything. The food was very good, they even customised me a mocktail, environment is also very pleasant. Would definitely recommend and even come back!

Second time here. Very nice setting and really really good food. Fried alici are fantastic, a must eat. All pastas are perfect and the octopus melts in your mouth. The raw ricciola (my favorite) is a delicacy and desserts are simply amazing. Way to go Molo G!!!!

A little hard to find but very lovely atmosphere. I’ve never experience such quick service! The staff is very friendly and knows how to handle tricky situations well. Straight to the point food with a local twist!

Excellent food, friendly servers, lovely location and relaxed ambiance. Our four year old enjoyed looking at the ducks and boats. We got a bit confused trying to find it, but that did not detract from the overall enjoyable experience.

The food I will give a 6 on a scale from 1 to 10. We chose a dish as Antipasti but there was not enough in stock so we had to choose something else, good but not great as was not our first choice. We took the 2 different pasta 1 Scialatielli all’Amalfitana (very good flavour) 2 Spaghetti al Polpo(not very impressed) Vibe: THERE WAS NO VIBE NO MUSIC You could hear all the conversations from other tables 😏👎👎👎 Service: The lady who served us was very nice but not very presentable (look should be cared for as well especially if you work with the public) she looked tired and exhausted.

We had a nice lunch here. The gnocci was a little too much and the cappocino not recommended. The pasta bolognese was super delicious. Sadly the fresh fruit was sold out.

We came here because of the recommendation of a local and were not disappointed! It was a bit busy in the beginning as a big group was just served with their main cause. It took a little longer than usual to take our orders but after that everything ran smoothly. Ordering Calamari and the mixed fish plate as started was a great decision and I even made a picture of it because it was beautifully arranged. After that we had two pizza 'La Concettina' & 'La Tonino' (which was recommended by our server). We did not regret ordering it. La Tonino has chorizo on it which makes it salty and delicious! Even though we came hungry we did not finish the pizza- which is made by a very friendly guy in an oven fired with wood. We will be happy to eat it later today and think back about our stay on Elba. If you prefer quite places, this is not for you, the restaurant is small in the entry and skilled servers are pacing by fast and often. We liked the busy atmosphere and spotted many locals indicating that this is a prime spot for them as well. We'll come back next time! Mille grazie :)

What a disappointment! We booked by phone. Friends told us this was one of the best places on Elba. And they where 100% right when it comes to the food and scenery! We ( 2 persons) went for the full experience. Bottle of wine, 3 courses etc. We spend a little over €250,- But it all got ruined when all of a sudden we were asked to leave, because ' our time was up'. Of course I know this happens in fast food places, brasseries and tourist traps. But not in fine dining at these prices. They never informed us of the 'time slot', because if we knew we would have never come here. To top it off: the place was not even full! Very disappointing.

Beautiful experience for the location and the view. Dishes are beautiful and the food was good. However, in my opinion, prices are too high for the service and the offer.

Having read the reviews we weren’t so sure but thought we would give it a try because of the sunset views, which didn’t didn’t disappoint. To keep it short, don’t be mislead by old reviews. They have a new chef, he is fantastic the quality of the cooking is very high level, the menu is mostly fish based with a few non fish options. Staff are super helpful and friendly, great wine options too. It is without doubt worth the money. This was the best meal we have had whilst staying here. Can’t recommend it enough.

What a delightful culinary experience. You will love the scenery as much as the food! 😍 The coffee ravioli with pistachio pesto is to die for!. I cannot state enough how gracious, kind and thoughtful our head-waiter and expert sommelier Daniele was- a delightful person who made this culinary experience even more memorable 💟

We were fairly unlucky, and one of our plates for the first course had dirt and dead ants on it. No biggie, we thought, we'll just show it to the waitress. Unfortunately, instead of apologizing and bringing a new one, she went in the back where we heard the whole kitchen staff theorizing on how we put the dead ants and dirt in it ourselves to get a discount. Then she came back and made a great deal of showing us how she cleaned the plate before handing it to us. At that point, we had lost our appetites, and we didn't feel welcome anymore, so we decided to leave. I have to say it's a shame because the food looked amazing, and the host seemed very competent. He seemed sorry we left, but only apologized halfway, saying the ants could have come from the window (Which I guess it's possible, but that would mean they died as soon as they touched the plate, and it still doesn't explain the dirt. To me, it seems far more likely that the waitress mistakenly took an old plate from the back of a cupboard and didn't realize it was dirty). We weren't asked to pay as we didn't get to taste any food and only had a sip of the wine. The food seemed delicious, and the view looked amazing. Maybe you'll have better luck, but we aren't planning on going back.

The best! We can compare this restaurant with similar concept seafood restaurants in Sicilia and Sardegna, and it is one of the best experience! Very good quality with natural tastes and freshness, portions are ample. Atmosphere is very friendly. Seafood antipasti is masterpiece! Even classic pizza quatri fornaggi, chosen by our son, as he does not like seafood was great!

The most beautiful views! A very romantic restaurant with great seafood and really nice people. Also amazing wine and amaro made on the agriturismo. I had been waiting all spring for it to open back up and was so glad we came. We love this place and will be back again soon, thank you Amandolo for a very nice evening.

I have a great story about this establishment. It was September 2012 and my wife and I were out for a hike in the countryside. We came across this place and we walked up to the patio and saw they were closed. One of the chefs comes out and welcomes us, tells us to please sit down. He then brings us fresh biscotti and a bottle of wine. We had the most enjoyable afternoon talking to him and enjoying the view. We eventually thanked him and asked for the bill and he absolutely refused to charge us and said it was a gift to us. We will never forget our trip to Elba Isle because of him.

They absolutely robbed us!! They do not have a menu, instead they gave us few choices by voice (which is by the way illegal in Italy!). The food was low quality and few of us felt sick afterwards (the boar was not cooked well!) The cherry on the top was the bill! Each of us paid for 1 antipasto, 1 pasta and few glasses of wine- 50 euros!! I have never had issues with paying for good food.. but this was baaaad! Save your stomach and your money!

Amazing, the road up gets a little scary but it has an unforgettable view. Walked in: sun was setting, no reservation — and yet the wait staff was incredibly accommodating and moved things around to ensure we would be able to enjoy the sunset at this beautiful location. Wonderful!!! Fish menu with a starter and a first course! They give you the chance to choose a meat menu if you like and I had that one, also with a starter and a first course. The food was truly amazing! Stunning view and location and kind people.

This place is beautiful. If you happen to be around please come here for the sunset, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not going. My picture doesn't really do it justice. The food is also really good with their locally produced wine. Overall amazing experience will be coming back if I ever get the chance, I do suggest booking in advance.

Beautiful location, delicious local food and amazing service!

We ate here twice during our holiday because the food is very good, the staff friendly and prices very honest. The first night I had "gnocco fritto" which was great, my family tried "tagliere" and a local hamburger. The second evening I had a delicious "schiacciata". The house wine is also great. There was a delay during the service and our waiter apologises profusely about it, so it wasn't a big deal. The restaurant is big and understaffed, as it seems very popular. The only minus point is the look, which is tired and dated, but one can easily forget about eating the delicious food.

Food quality is high, service is good but the menus are available only digitally on mobile (using qr codes) and the menu itself if not mobile friendly, and the English translation is bad. Sittine outside next to the grill (the covered area of tables 1-3) grants a constant BBQ smell. It can bother some people)

Unfortunately a typical tourist place. We wanted to go elsewhere but could find a good place in Porto Azzuro - make sure you reserve up front. This restaurant arranged the table for us, despite they looked fully booked. A first and last positive unfortunately. The food was below average (especially given the price point), the staff in complete chaos, they brought us 3times the wrong meal we did not order. They charged us 1 bottle of water more than we ordered etc … please look elsewhere is you want a good dinner for this price point.

For me this was one of the less enjoyable restaurants on the island. The food was not bad, but compared to others it was expensive and the portions were quite small as well. Traditional italian atmosphere was non-existent, the waiters were pretty neutral. Overall not a bad place to dine in, but I think it is a shame to miss out on other, smaller, less industrial restaurants in favor of this one.

Lovely atmosphere with view on the sea and surrounding green hills. Many birds on the water complete the scene. We went back a second time as we loved the food and service. On both times, although we had different dishes, they were all delicious. Absolutely recommend the pasta allo scoglio and the scarola with pinoli, as well as the vegetables. Good wine, different local wineries. A family run restaurant with history in the area. The service was very good, compliments to all: cook, waiters and management!

Dislike this place. Seafood was not fresh and there were very small portions. Location is very good and the caravelle style is likeable. There are many other good restaurants at this lively town. Try Panorama at The Plasa hotel.

Service a bit lackluster. Asked if we were finished and wanted to clear plates while still chewing and barely having put down cutlery from the last bite. Had to specifically ask for a glass for my lemonade, they served just the box straight up. Then ironically when trying to pay it took quite a while to get any attention and the bill… The menu is by QR code only which I dislike and feels like it negatively affects the mood a bit when you need to scroll on your phone during dinner. On a positive note allergens are clearly marked in the online menu. Great views. Pizza was good. The pasta was good. Nothing extraordinary or special, just a good meal. Reasonably priced.

Great View & Delicious Food – Slight Downside with the Music Cacio e Vino di Galvani Laura is a beautifully located restaurant with a stunning terrace offering breathtaking views over the island and down to the sea. The food is full of flavor and perfectly balanced – the pasta, in particular, is outstanding. Service was friendly and attentive. The only drawback: the music changed constantly and was rather loud, which slightly distracted from the otherwise wonderful atmosphere.

One of the best places on the island to experience Elbana cuisine! Quick service, great comfort food (both the seafood and “carne”), and pizza from a proper oven. An amazing view on Marina di Campo from the terrace, but you should book the table in advance to enjoy this view. Desserts are delicious, look and taste like they are made in house.

Plus the view from the terrace - 5 stars worth indeed. Just better book a table a few days prior - the place is not exactly an insider tip. ;)

Just like in most of the places on Elba, a smile, a friendly and detailed response are as hard to find as truffles are. We went there around 13:30 on the 25th of September, tables outside were fully occupied, the waitress told us annoyed that there is no place, that a table is clearing now but a new group waiting will be seated and we pinpointed at another table on which the customers were due to leave but she just said it’s not possible. No explanation, maybe they wouldn’t take anymore customers because they were due to close at 14:00, but no one really bothers to be kind.

A wonderful place with traditional foods that are a very welcome change from the usual places. My baked cod was exceptional and I tasted a couple of other dishes like the wild boar pasta and these were equally good. You can sit outside or in but for a group of 10 like ours they could only manage a single table inside. Really quirky and fun decor. Well worth the windy road to get there from the coast. There's a small car park 4 mins walk away. This is €1.50 per hour but the machine only seems to take €1 at a time. It's free after 8pm so you could arrive at 7:15 and just pay for an hour. Or try for in street parking the other side of town. Good buys service up there even better. Very reasonable prices

Such a fantastic restaurant. Cosy. Quirky. Friendly excellent service. The food was authentic, delicious and original. We ate wild boar pappardelle & wholewheat pasta with Genoese pesto -primi. Secondi - chicken stew and vegetable cakes (quiche). Good wine list and very reasonable price.

Mixed feelings from this restaurant.. First, zero ability to speak English, even the very young waiters were totally unable to understand a very basic words (what the hell are they doing in the elementary school?!). Second, the pasta was great, the swordfish was just an average but unfortunately the grilled squid wasn't well seasoned and the prawns were below average as well. Third, we ordered 2 side dishes, French fries and grilled vegetable, but not only they didn't bring the vegetable, but they charged us for both. Given their inability to understand English I gave up the game with the Google translate app to claim it back because it would take too long to make them understand.. So, pasta was very good, fish and seafood just an average.. All in all, nothing special I'd like to remember from my days spent on the Isle of Elba..

We had a fantastic dinner here, sitting on the covered terrace with a view over the harbour. We shared a seafood platter as a starter/antipasto (one between two people is definitely enough!) which was very good, but the spaghetti with wild clams was even better. It's not usually my favourite dish, but here they do it extremely well. We're still talking about that amazing spaghetti we had a week later! All finished off with the sparkling house wine and a little lemon sorbet. It was a busy Saturday night but the staff were really friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

Amazing food and great staff

When we arrived just after 7pm we were greeted by a look on the watch of the waiter giving us the feeling - why are you already here...then we ordered an antipasti and two pizza, but one pizza came with the antipasti and the second one half an hour later. When complaining that the second pizza came so late and should have come together with the other pizza the waiter told me... You are right.. No real "sorry" or acknowledgement. Definitely we will not go back to this restaurant.

Typical „mass production“ beach. Cost of 2 sun loungers was 35€ I guess that’s all right but not cheap either. Water pretty clear once you swim out a little and the sand quite soft.

Not a single minute of relaxation possible. Nonstop very loud, heavy base Techno music all day, starting from early morning. Boom, boom, boom. You should definitely choose a different beach club, if you don’t like to feel the techno base in your guts all day

Great relaxed spot right by the water the service is phenomenal and the food is lovely. Wine list is long and had offers for every pallet, very satisfied.

The location is very beautiful but the food is incredibly overpriced, the fritto misto was very rubbery and they give you literally one shrimp. You can get better food for way less elsewhere.

We ordered pizza and swordfish steak with grilled vegetables. When they brought the food, they only brought the pizza and grilled vegetables which were dry and cold, definitely not fresh off the grill, when I asked that they not bring the rest of the order a short while later they brought the steak which was not finished and part of it was raw. Two stars only because of the pizza, which was quite good. Never again.

We had dinner three days ago in this restaurant with a beautiful location on the beach. The three-course menu was very tasty and the service was attentive and helpful. We were planning to come back. All in all a very nice evening, thank you very much! Yesterday we went to the Bagni Orano restaurant again. Pasta was our choice this time. The food arrived, it was cold. When we told the male waiter this, he reacted gruffly and took the pasta (lasagne and pasta with meat) back to the kitchen. 15 minutes later the pasta arrived; another 10 minutes later and only on request did the lasagne arrive -> both apparently heated in the microwave. We were dissatisfied and wanted to pay and leave the restaurant but no male waiter responded to our request. Only the chef of the house came to us and brought us the bill. 45€ (1 starter, 2 pasta dishes, 1 water, 1 Coke) .... Why won't we be back? Because the service was unfriendly and inattentive. (Not the boss and the female seevice staff)

Overall, the restaurant is very nice especially if you dine by the beach(they have tables in the beach). The view is incredible making it suitable for dates and fancy dine in. They give you immediately your table if you reserved a table. The waiters are really quick with bringing your food onto the table and so with the ordering phase. The food was really good(I recommend the pizza, the dough is really good). For Appetiser , I shared a white pizza which was excellent and than I took as my main “variante di polpo” which was variants of octopus. They had octopus on the grill, fried and salad. All three were amazing and definitely recommend it but there are many different dishes and more fish options.

My husband and I simply loved this place. Spending the day at the beach of Lacona and having Aperol Spritz with some seafood at the Orano became our routine during the time in Lacone. The stuff is very easy going, children-friendly and nice to everybody and the food is...as you can see...really good. Grazie mille!:)

I walked in here off the beach staying at a nearby resort. The wine was decent and the waitress was able to give a good recommendation. The pizza was ok but the crust was a little burnt. If you want to sit out on the sand I think you need a reservation so I would be ready for that. Also the quarto formaggio was 9.5€ and the capricciosa was 10€ just so you know what cost to expect. Not a bad atmosphere but I would not return. Ok if you are looking for something to eat off the beach that is easy. The crust was flat, and I think the mushrooms and olives on the capricciosa were canned.

Really lovely restaurant in Marciana Marina. Menu all in Italian, but the staff were kind in helping to fill in the gaps that Google Translate struggled with. Food of an excellent standard. The tuna tartare in particular was a winner with the whole family.

Lovely restaurant serving delicious food. The menu was short but extremely curated and mainly local fish/seafood,which was super fresh. The service was also great, everyone was friendly and attentive to our needs. We’ll definitely come back again!

Reservation was made, showed up on time, after waiting for a while finally we got some attention and the order is taken, a spaghetti and a beef steak, the first one arrived but after one hour the beef steak is still not there. Cancelled the order and left, staff are friendly towards locals, they get their attention and are their first priority, our experience has been a low quality service and not being treated in a welcoming manner.

The glasses smelled like sea water/fish, the octopus was chewy, ”fresh" pasta instead was hard and every dish had a ton of black pepper as if that's the only way to elevate the dish according to the chef. The bread was good though.

The restaurant is located in a back alley of a cosy square. We preferred not to have dinner among people in touristy restaurants but chose Affrichella because of the location and the menu. The food was delicious, the wine was delicious, everything we had for dinner and after was delicious. The staff was so super friendly and taught me Italian. They took the espressos and dessert wines off the bill (they didn’t have to, grazie). We had a great night at Affrichella and we’ll come back one day and say: ‘Posso avere ancora due.....’. Grazie mile for your courtesy. Highly recommended.

Staff were great, friendly and very helpful. Location is right on the beach - even if the road to get there can be lengthy and partly in gravel. The whole menu is only fish. Prices are not in line with a beach place. Food was good but not worth a return trip.

Food was great as well as the service. Place is opened from 6PM which is rare in the island of Elba since most of the restaurants are opened from 7PM or even later. Octopus salad, grilled squid and lasagne are tried by us and these dishes are highly recommended.

Usually I‘m no writing reviews but this one I had to do! Because this place sucks! The Bruscette were hard as stone...so were the Spaghetti Bolognese...not al dente...more niente! The Risotto Frutti Di Mare was just regular rice with stock cube...tasted like MREs! The Red Vine had body temperature...so they brought us a cooler!!! This leads me to the service...which was non existent! The only thing they didn‘t mess up was the Acqua Minerale Frizzante! If you wanna eat really good in this beautiful small town I recommend you the Trattoria Il Vicoletto or the Taverna Moderna di Matteo or the Taverna dei Poeti or the Ristorante lo Sgarbo.

What a exceptional surprice this was! A truly must visit for Dutch (and all other) tourist looking for an authenic fair priced restaurant on Elba. Not only because the food is like it should be, the service is even better and you feel like at home in a well decorated Dutch livingroom from the early 1900's. The restaurant is runned by a family for 30+ years and their experience is tastable ;) . Don't forget to order the chocolat cake!

We were in Procchio for a week and on the last day we ate at this restaurant. It was the best restaurant in Procchio we ate at during our stay. We didn't have a reservation but they were very accommodating and asked us to wait 15 or 20 min at which time they should have a table available. Other restaurants in the area just told us they were booked completely. The menu has something for everyone and the prices were great. I wish I had found this place sooner because my family and I really enjoyed our meal here.

The atmosphere was also pretty pathetic, it seemed like they didn’t put any effort into making it look nice besides a couple of which I assume are Christmas lights.
