Absolute gem! Affordable, beautifully presented dishes with friendly and attentive staff. Great position with views of the marina. Sadly, we are leaving tomorrow. Well, it's worth a visit.

Tl;dr: we had a great experience. Great food, service and location. We went to Ciccio on an early Tuesday evening upon a recommendation by a local friend. We got there early and were seated right away. We were 4 adults, 1 teen and a 2 1/2 year old. We had a few local appetizers like stuffed zucchini flowers and zuppa di cozze ( mussel soup). And then most of us ordered pizzas as main dish. Pizzas were great. See photos. The stuffed zucchini flowers are a local speciality. They come filled with cheese and sometimes there is also a little bit of prosciutto crudo added. They are briefly fried and served warm. A must try! Especially because it is difficult to find zucchini flowers elsewhere. A total and unexpected very positive surprise was for me the zuppa di cozze. It’s a mussel “soup” but you can compare it a little bit to French moules marinières. We just happened to be a week prior to Ischia in La Baule, a fancy coast town in the Bretagne. We had moules marinieres there and those tasted like nothing. The zuppa di cozze on the orher hand was a dream full of flavor. You should definitely try. We paired our meal with local wine, a white Bianconello from Casa d’Ambra. If in Ischia, try the local wines. They are hard to come by outside Ischia and much more expensive even in Naples. Ischia is a volcanic Island and it has a wide variety of grapes and hence wines to try. I could leave this review as is but I must tell about how the host went way beyond to help me recover something I left behind. I discovered the next day that I forgot something but the restaurant was closed in the morning and we left for Naples to spend there a few days before heading back home. Giovanni went all out and managed to get my left behind on a ferry for me to pick up in Naples at the harbor 2 days later! That is dedication. Thank you Giovanni! We will be back. PS: I recommend making a reservation. We tried going a few days prior at regular dinner hour and the wait was 40 min. The night we were there, it filled up pretty quickly.

We had dinner twice, sampling pizzas, pasta, and appetizers. The owner was a very hospitable host, the wait staff was very attentive, and the food was some of the best we’ve had during the 17 day trip. The clams and spaghetti were particularly good, as was the filet of sea bass. They are described as a pizzeria, which is true, but this restaurant has much more to offer than pizza.

One of the best meals we had in Ischia, highly recommend if you’re in Forio! The service was great, and the food even better.

WOW. We had a great experience here. This was something different. This was BY FAR our favorite spot on our trip to Ischia! We had accidentally found this restaurant, thanks to google maps,reading the positive reviews and have tried to see the „old Italien school“ restaurant. Entrance is a little difficult to find, one must ring at to enter. Accidentally, we got a table without reservation and so many great things to say! The food was absolutely delicious and so very fresh. The staff were so kind and welcoming. We loved the atmosphere with live music and overall location. Stunning view from above we had. Highly recommended.

The food was excellent! The mushroom risotto was the best dish we have had in our vacation. The music and vibes were amazing. We really enjoyed our dinner there. They got us three appetizers, and we got to choose the main dishes and the dessert from a set menu. If you want to try authentic italian dishes, this is the place that you should visit!

An authentic experience. Any tourist who doesn't understand that old school Italian authenticity should probably stay away. No compromises here. They do what they do and do it well.

A great experience with amazing food and friendly staff. A true hidden gem. Worth the drive up the hill. Keep an eye out for the gate though, there is a big car park opposite.

Food was amazing, the atmosphere is also mesmerizing. However the staff could be a bit more smiling and welcoming. Personally for me it felt a bit awkward. The wine that they produce tastes amazing! It is written online that they take card, but when you go there the first think they say is that they take only cash! You also don’t get a lot of food for the money! Dishes are not kid friendly, since they are chilli/peppery. Overall ok experience, concerning taste and location, but I would not go there again.

The restaurant is situated at a very nice and different location with views from the island's mountains. The menu is fixed with a limited amount of choices, but is designed in order to have them all work together extremely well. All of the dishes we got to try were very good and all of the portion sizes were abundant. We received various appetizers, some bottles of water, pasta, risotto, meat, sausages, and three different desserts and ended up paying a stunning low bill of 60€ for 2 people. The staff was very friendly and service was extremely fast and efficient.

This is the busiest place in town. Italians usually eat late but to get in they are going early, the place is packed by 8pm. They take your name and you can wait outside, looked like a 30-40 min wait. They do takeaway pizzas & you don’t have to wait as long, they discount the by €2 so 2pizzas cost us €11… bargin and best pizza I’ve had (though I’m not a lover of pizza) these were not soggy, dough light & toppings tasty. The rest of the menu sounded great, the only place that did risotto but I didn’t want to wait that long. They don’t take reservations just just come & see

We really enjoyed our first visit, so we came back just a couple of days later! It does get crowded, but the service remains professional and efficient, so the wait time is very reasonable. The food is tasty, and the prices are truly some of the best in the area. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful evening here the other night and loved it so much we went back again tonight. We enjoyed the bruschetta, grilled fish, fresh limone pasta, tomato salad and gelato to finish it off. The servers are friendly and patient with our attempts to order in Italian. The food is amazing and at just the right price. Grazie La Tinaia - we will be back!

A wonderful restaurant in the heart of Forio. Pizza and eggplant parmigiana were absolutely delicious and the lambrusco wine was fabulous. Great service and nice atmosphere. We are looking forward to going back on our next visit to Forio.

If you want to try authentic and best local food for pizza and carne then this I the best place to eat with family and friends. The queue is long so make sure you rese e in advance in order to avoid long waiting time

Immaculate gelato! The restaurant side was delicious as well. Their eggplant pizza was to die for. I was a little skeptical to try their lemon pasta, but it was absolutely incredible, a must try.

This place is definitely a gem. It’s also very cooly decorated on the inside, but the terrace is a lovely place to sit for lunch. The staff were so kind! Everything tasted great and it was reasonably priced. I would come back!

A restaurant with a great atmosphere and very pleasant and fast service. My wife and I ordered the grilled calamari and the meal was one big taste buds concert. The prices fully correspond to the quality of the food served. I can only recommend the restaurant.

We went here based on the good reviews and were unfortunately disappointed with our experience, we were charged €30 for local wine available much cheaper elsewhere and this was the second cheapest bottle and there wasn’t much choice for affordable wine many bottles were around €200 and the atmosphere of the restaurant did not match this price. Food was mediocre at best and small in size which did not justify the extortionate prices charged. Even though we paid a service charge per person there was an added unexpected charge for service added on top. This meal was the most expensive during my time on holiday and probably the worst I wouldn’t recommend.

OMG WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THIS AMAZING PLACE.... My husband and I stumbled upon this place in our last night in Ischia and wow did it totally blow us away. The staff were all amazing. Carmen recommended us dishes of what to order and everything she recommended was absolutely incredible. We ordered the fusili mushroom and clam pasta, the red fish spaghetti, the tuna tartar for starters and the lemon cake for dessert. Every single one of these dishes was prepared and cooked to perfection. I cannot recommend this place enough and for us it really was the BEST food in Ischia. The service was amazing and the restaurant was such a cosy and warm atmosphere. Thank you to you all for an amazing last night and the delicious food. The Patels xxx

This restaurant is such a must, honestly beautiful food. Start off with the zucchini flower entré (believe me on this!). Atmosphere, staff, food, vegetarian/meat/fish options. Delicioussssss

Will not even exaggerate saying it's in the current top-3 of my favourite restaurants. I visited it at the end of March, right after the opening. Been the only visitor, warmly met by staff and had absolutely wonderful and chill time. Tried a delicate tasting seafood pasta with a nice local wine, complimented by delicious bread. This is hands down some of the best Italian food I've ever had. Don't give this place a miss. We had various different dishes including fish, steak, pizza and pasta and all were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was also brilliant and I'd love to come back here again sometime. Thanks again!

PRICES: me and a friend had a bill of 70 euros including water, glass of wine, mixed grilled fish, big salad, mozzarella and fried squids (check my pictures), a babà and coffee. CONS: the price of a mixed fish grill is pretty expensive for southern Italy standards, specially about price/amount ratio. PROS: the food is great, the service is very fast, polite and available. Many good options in the menu. Place is well located, clean and with great atmosphere.

Authentic small pizzeria in Sant'Angelo. They are polite, welcoming and provide quick service. Be prepared that during busy hours, there might be a waiting line in the street, but it does really worth it, the food is great and not expensive at all. Highly recommended!

O am traveling alone and they were able to seat me right away. The service was excellent and my pizza arrived at the table VERY quickly. They have a large menu with many options. That atmosphere is great. It’s casual and cozy and I found the prices to be fair. I would highly recommend if you are looking for pizza while in Sant Angelo.

Busy and well-run restaurant in the winding layers of Sant' Angelo. Truly a pizzeria, but some other nice plates as well. Great variety of toppings and combos are also available as calzones (folded in half before cooking) or pinched over on four corners! And the crust is one of the best anywhere! Open kitchen makes it fun to watch the pies go in & out of the large wood-fired oven. Very relaxed atmosphere, even when it is busiest between 8 - 9. People took breaks from their meals to stroll outside with glasses of wine, and generally made for a fun vibe. And, the food was great. Quality ingredients, generous portions and delicious combinations. And very reasonable prices! This is a gem of an eating experience!

Absolutely amazing, from another word. One of the best pizzas I had traveling Campania. Had the Siciliana, with anchovies, capers and garlic and no cheese, the tomato sauce was insanely tasty, I will really miss it in my life from now on.

We decided to visit this place based on high reviews, but we were disappointed mostly. The salads with tuna and shrimps were good, but portions were rather small in some other restaurants for approximately the same price the portions were 2 times bigger. Pizza was just okay, we tried pizza in about 12 different places and this was not a bad experience, but definitely not in our top 5. Desserts were very good. They were the best parts of our meal. Not a bad place and a bit pricey, except desserts, an average experience for us. Also be aware that there's a coperto (table service fee) - 2 EURO from a person. 2 salads - 17 euro Pizza with salmon - 16 euro 2 desserts (tiramisu and Panna Cotta) - 13 euro 2 drinks - 7 euro Coperto - 4 euro Total: 57 euro

I ordered lasagna, as I started to eat I found it to be very cold in the centre. Obviously straight from the fridge and popped in the microwave. I sent it back but not a word of apology from the staff. I received a replacement which seemed to have been microwaved to a temperature akin to the surface of the sun and was almost completely devoid of any form of meat. After I had finished I noticed a large crack in the bowl which judging by the colour must have been there for some time. A perfect breeding pIace for bacteria especially given the temperature of the first food offering. Basic food hygiene. I pointed this out to the waiter who just didn't seem to care. The place looks okay on the outside but is a typical tourist trap that dishes up bland badly prepared food to tourists who will never be back. Avoid this place I'm sure there will be better. The reply from the restaurant is nonsense who makes cracked tableware. My wife eating her meal has nothing to do with the state of my meal !!!!

The views from the roof top are beautiful. The food unfortunately was not the best. We tried the steak and it was not cooked all the way through, we asked if this could be done a little more, but due to waiting our chips went cold and when the steak came back it was awful. They literally reheated the steak and bought it back. Just don't have the steak.

Great spot on the strip to have a nice dinner. Food was a little salty but otherwise very nice. We ordered quite a bit of food. Pasta was done very well.

Friendly service which unfortunately doesn’t compensate for the bad food. Everything seemed to have been made with cheap, tasteless ingredients. Pasta with mussels and tomatoes contained about 10 mussel shells of which 3 were empty and 2 were shut tight (therefore not edible). Didn’t leave much for the tastebuds except pretty plain spaghetti with little to no garlic, a mere smidgen of olive oil and a couple of little tomatoes. Asking for more oil, pepper and salt resulted in a basket of pre-packaged olive oil in a 1-portion plastic sachet. Same for the salt and pepper. Not very environmentally friendly, nor a particularly good sign for the food. It was so bland. Why not put out some salt and pepper mills and a nice bottle of olive oil? This is Italy! Salad came without any dressing/oil too. All in all a culinary disappointment. Not cheap either. But the staff were very friendly.

We had a phenomenal dining experience here. On a night where the seas were rough - we by chance got blessed to dine with the place to ourselves. From the wine, to the food, to the service, we couldn’t thank the team enough. This has been our best evening in Ischia! A gardenia between two thorns..

We just went there to have aperitivo. The place location is perfect. The view is looking to napoli procida. I love the view. The drinks were good too. But aperitivo variety was very limited. They could have added a few more different things. There is a parking lot above the venue. The staff was kind and helpful. We paid 21 euros for 2 drinks.

The servers in the restaurant were a little pretentious. One of them was friendly, the others were not. They brought me the wrong entree and i said “that’s not what i ordered” and this pushy/grumpy server said “it’s good, you will like it” instead of sorry??? Bc it took so long i went along w it. Food was fresh and good, we still had fun. It wasn’t transparent they automatically charge you per person for the beach club on our lunch bill. We didn’t want 5 chairs, only 2 but they tried to charge us 100€. …they need share that info upfront. I’m ok w spending more but i think better service is expected at these prices.

I can only give this beach club 5 stars! It was exceptional. It is truly the most magical garden by the sea and if I could I would have spent every day here. Absolutely worth a visit. Great location, fantastic value for money, lovely staff who managed to accommodate us without a reservation. Great food and service (by Marco). This was not an obnoxious type beach club - it had a great vibe and was relaxing.

Dream Stay! Incredible service from Mauro:From the moment we arrived, he took care of ordering a taxi for us. He made sure to introduce us to Ischia and all the must-see spots. Throughout our stay, he helped us organize our trips, even going so far as to fetch croissants for us from town in the morning. The location is idyllic; we felt perfectly isolated from the more touristy center of Ischia. The food was delicious.

I stayed at an airbnb on the property and can say these are some of the kindest and caring people you will meet!! I stepped on a sea urchin my last day here and not only did they offer helpful remedies for the sting, they also regularly came by our patio to check on me for the next several hours. I can't comment on the food (great coffee and apertivo though) as we didn't get a chance to have a meal there but they could not have been kinder!!! The water and beach club are absolutely stunning. 10/10 place and 100/100 people!

The restaurant had a great atmosphere. It was my fault not to check the menu beforehand because I wasn’t expecting to see no seafood options when I got there. My husband tried the rabbit and found it kind of dry. I had to order normal steak and it was normal. Bucatini with rabbit was good. Cocktails are super cheap, 6 euros per. We were surrounded with bees and the restaurant tried to do anything possible to help us. However I still find it weird that a restaurant on an island doesn’t have any seafood options.

This restaurant has a true authentic Italian menu and atmosphere. Think farm to table. The steak is delicious. It was actually our second time here and so glad that we went back. We took a route getting there where the road was very narrow. Be sure to check your navigation for the more direct way in and out. The wait staff was attentive and the ambiance was romantic. So glad we went again.

You must visit this spot if you are vacationing in Ischia. I suggest making a reservation so you can try the rabbit cooked in a terra cotta dish with bucatini. It was delicious! The property itself is beautiful; the restaurant is a former wine cellar and felt very romantic. We arrived on a scooter which helped navigate the long, winding driveway but I did see others arrive in cars, so it’s not a must. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind.

Easily our best meal in Ischia. As others have mentioned, it is a bit of a trek up a narrow hill, but well worth it. The location and restaurant itself are stunning. We had the appetizer combo, mix meat entree, and pomodoro pasta. All phenomenal. Only gripe was the wifi was weak and they didn’t have physical menus so had to use the servers phone.

An amazing restaurant all around! Stuck on hoping it stays a hidden gem but also wanting to share it with the world! Great views, phenomenal food and the sweetest family that owns it. If you’re visiting Ischia, don’t miss the opportunity to dine here. And get the rabbit!

The best eggplant parmigiana I’ve ever had in my life (coming from a vegetarian who always orders this dish everywhere). The family who owns the place is so sweet. We went for lunch and dinner (it was that good), and neither disappointed. Their house wine selection was also delicious (we tried all of them), and the atmosphere is exactly what you would wish a place like this to look like. I can’t wait to go back. Since I live in Naples, my expectations are kind of high. I made a great search to find this restaurant but the food wasn’t perfect. It was good but not perfect. To begin with, octopus carpaccio was mid, combining it with corn was weird. The squid was also mid but the pumpkin sauce was good. Gnocchi lacked salt, it was also very mid. The best thing was the gamberi I tried. The atmosphere and the environment was very good. 2 antipasti, 1 pasta, 2 secondi and 1 bottle of wine was 150 euros.

We were able to get a last minute reservation here and it could not have turned out to be a better night. Luigi, Vanessa, and Antonio were so fun and inviting. From wine recommendations to giving us some fresh grapes from the vineyard to taste, they truly made our experience a 10/10. Would highly recommend ❤️

My husband and I enjoyed our last dinner on Ischia at this lovely family owned and operated restaurant. The atmosphere, wait staff and food were all top notch. We enjoyed the Eggplant Parmigiana, the pasta was perfectly cooked and the special fried Cod with caramelized onion and ginger carrot sauce was spectacular. Their homemade Lemon cake and Chocolate Lava cake were a decadent way to end the meal.

Great experience. This is a winery/restaurant it was awesome. A true experience and we loved it. Highly recommend.

A big surprise to us. Really good food. Maybe even the best parmigiana I ever had. Fish on point. Wines of course also since that is their main competence. We saw the kitchen crew. Very sympathetic people. Service was also top notch. She could easily handle a Guide Michelin restaurant with her presence. Very nice rural area. PS: During the last years, I saw many overrated restaurants across Italy. Restaurant where people with just a few reference points said "best food ever". Oftentimes I left these restaurants from simple Osterie to Michelin disappointed. Here, I can say that this restaurant is underrated. They want to impress.

Superb experience. Set in an idyllic small holding & vineyard. Fabulous menu, of deliciously superb cuisine. Great wines (including their own). Friendly and welcoming staff. Definitely one of the best restaurants on the island.

We came two persons for the late dinner. Antipasti MIX was amazing and cost 25€, but pasta with prawns and other with some kind of crab were tasteless :( Also the fish was offered as fillet, but came out as a full fish which cost around 70€. So i total with bottle of wine (20€), beer for my husband and some side dishes, we spent 180€. Everything would be nice and the price would be ok, if taste in all dishes would be better. In this case, price was way too high.

It could have been a full score but don’t serve me hot rosé. Even if you brought a ice bucket. You have the best tomatoes ever. Fish good. The view is great. But you are to buzzy. On the beach. Outside serving. WC. No parking. A bit upper. Good on fish.

We happened upon Delfino one night on our recent vacation. Food and service were remarkable that we went back the next night! Giuseppe, the owner, brought out the fresh fish they had caught that day. The place was so welcoming that they invited us to a family confirmation for a 3rd visit!!

Lovely family run restaurant on top of a mountain only accesable on foot. No you cant bike there (yes we tried), you have to leave your bikes aprox 1 km down the path. The food and price were good but the view breathtaking.

This place was a treat. The location is truely beautiful, just underneath the top of Monte Epomeo it’s the perfect reward for your hike up the mountain. The restaurant offers stunning views and everything is made by the family running the place, from the wine and limoncello to the sausages… The hosts were very friendly! I would love to return here :)

I am from Ischia and I eat in this place since ages! Is always amazing to be here! Great atmosphere, incredible food, and a view of 360 degree of the island and the iconic Aragonese Castle! Worth the trekking if you want to be there for lunch or even better for sunset! But for an evening dinner is always better to book in advance! Definitely a MUST do experience if you are in Ischia.

We made the relatively steep 3 km walk from Fontana, which is about one hour, to reach to restaurant at the top of Monte Epomeo and its amazing panoramic views of the island. Sitting at a table on the front terrace, we had the Spaghetti Epomeo, omelette con coppa and insalata pomodori con cipolla, which were all excellent. The owner guided us to another extraordinary view through the back of the restaurant and was kind to share the story of his grandfather travelling up the mountain by donkey and carving out the rock face, where the family-owned restaurant sits today.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a local on the bus to Monte Epomeo, and the bruschetta specifically. She was 100% correct in saying the bruschetta was delicious! The view was phenomenal, I stopped in to eat after taking photos at the peak. Many tables were "reserved" on the terrace but I still managed to find a table with a great view. The bruschetta and freshly squeezed OJ were both delicious. Would recommend!

The food was so good and the view amazing (although it was a little bit cloudy). Unfortunately we won't remember these positive things: There was a beagle, who doesn't belong to this restaurant and he looked very sick, he kept harassing our dog (jumping on him, licking him) and we couldn't keep him away. As we were concerned about our dogs health, we were glad, that at some point the owners of he restaurant lead him away. But apparently this dog comes there every day looking for food. We wouldn't go back while having a dog with us.

We had a wonderful lunch at Ristorante La Grotta da Fiore. The food was incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and the portions were generous. Every dish was delicious, and we especially appreciated the explanation about the rabbit and how it was prepared—it’s clear they take real pride in their cooking. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The waiters and owners were genuinely friendly and attentive. You can tell they truly care about the service—they don’t just bring food to the table, they make sure you enjoy the full experience. To top it all off, they surprised us with a big bag of fresh basil and some chillis to take home! 🤩 Such a thoughtful gesture. Auras was the first restaurant we went to upon arriving in Ischia and needless to say, it was hard to beat! We received amazing service from the lovely waiter Giovanni who was very helpful throughout the whole experience! The food was absolutely delicious and the view was amazing. My husband and I went for his birthday and for our first night in ischia and it was a perfect experience. All the food was great but we are obsessed with the pork and the fries. The fries are definitely a MUST. The service was great, we did book in advance to get a table with the view but if you go late its very likely to find a good spot. Which is definitely worth it because the view and the vibes are perfect. A must go spot in ischia for sure.

Very good restaurant, Julio the perfect host. We ordered the seafood pasta and ravioli- both fresh, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour. The tuna tartare to start was exceptional, the Amarone by the glass delicious and the overall experience was superb. Highly recommended.

We and ALL the diners around us had to ask for the waiters' attention several times. The boss/manager/owner was chatting with his italian diner friends instead of helping his own staff. The food is extremely ordinary: The service fee IS NOT WORTH €7! The pasta with porcini mushrooms, on the other hand, is forgettable – watery, bland, and flavorless. The ribeye was good (difficult to mess up), although they didn't inquire about my preferred level of doneness (luckily, it arrived rare, as I prefer, but not everyone likes it that way), but it was accompanied by a meager serving of "vegetables" (essentially half a grilled zucchini). The bill was in line with the prices in the area, but beware: there was an error, albeit a minor one – I was charged for an extra bottle of water, so make sure to carefully check the bill. Very slow service.

Overpriced for what it is. We had an aubergine pasta, carbonara pasta and a Bresaola salad. The two pastas were okay, none of us finished them. The salad in the other hand was delicious, but ruining a salad is difficult. We also had regular 3 beers and paid 75 euros. The service was good and friendly.

We didn't like the salad with tuna 12eur. Steak was not good, lot of rat for 24eur. Wine was ordinary for 6.5eur per glass. We left the food, waiter didn' t care if customers are satisfied. Manager was aggressive, German speaking Asian guy. He however suggested us another salad or desert instead. We didn't want anything more, he forced us to pay or to go to police. We left the place hungry, nervous and unsatisfied. Never going there again.

Went to La Pace early July 2024 and was amazing. Surreal feeling that you can only get there by boat and arrive to a fabulous atmosphere with a deserted island vibe. Your boat anchors and the restaurant’s taxi boat takes you to the dock. So fun! Food was amazing. Lots of incredibly fresh seafood, delicious pastas and great dessert. Prices were reasonable. Our best day of the trip was a boat charter with stop here for lunch. Run don’t walk!

We went on a Sunday with the Boat to this wonderful restaurant. They come to pick you up with a little small boat to bring you a shore. We enjoyed the food immensely I had tomatoe bruschetta and barbecued chicken. The chicken was from a good farm. My wife had the fried fish. We took a green salad and we shared a baba. We had the rosé wine and a bottle of water. €130. I honestly did not want to leave the view was mesmerising and the service was very kind and quick even though this was Sunday the busiest day of the week. Thank you very much. We had a very sad experience in Calise bar. We arrived yesterday and ask for two orange juices and two cream and cherry croissants. There was no one there, not even one from the bar personnel to speak to. So we just seated. We then replied that we payed for two orange juices but had only one in fact. We were very upset about the treatment we had. I spent a wonderful five nights at Botania Relias & Spa and I can't recommend it highly enough. This place truly is an oasis of greenery and tranquility - exactly what I needed for a peaceful getaway. What makes this hotel special are the countless little private hideaways scattered throughout the property. I loved discovering the outdoor cabana beds charming benches tucked into quiet corners and even swings where you can just sit and breathe. It's like having your own secret Garden with multiple spots to find your perfect moment of Zen. The staff were incredibly accommodating and hospitable throughout my stay. They really made me feel welcomed and cared for. The food was another highlight, the nuance of flavours and artistry in each dish was remarkable. The 3 day a week Yoga sessions with Luisa were absolutely fantastic too. The live music was also top notch - an unexpected welcomed addition to my experience. The proximity to the thermal baths was the perfect bonus, making it so convenient to enjoy the full wellness experience without hassle. If your looking for a high quality place to truly replenish your vitality and find some peace, Botania Relais and Spa is absolutely ideal. I will definitely be back.

Best hotel in all of Ischia! We absolutely loved our stay here. My husband and I stayed for a week in May as we were in need of a very relaxing vacation. The property is gorgeous and truly a place to rejuvenate and relax.The staff was exceptional, the food was phenomenal, and everything was truly amazing. We really couldn’t recommend this place more. From the indoor and outdoor gyms, the pool, the access to the beach, the spa, and thermal pools, we felt secluded, taken care of, and so at peace. We can’t wait to go back!

Visited this restaurant for lunch whilst at San Montano beach and what a great surprise! Everything was excellent, from the first approach of the service staff, to the quality of the meal, I cannot fault it. My husband had the seafood risotto which was plentiful and so delicious and I enjoyed the candele ragu with three types of meat in a tomato onion sauce which was excellent! Excellent value for money, not only for the quality of the food but also for the service by Gian Luigi and location. Highly recommend when visiting the area!

Fantastic. This is the best pizza my wife and I had during our two weeks in southern Italy for our honeymoon. The ingredients are fresh, flavourful -- their arugula/rocket was peppery and packed with flavour -- their dough is authentic, and their pizza oven is stunning (seriously, go check it out inside!) We didn't have a reservation as we had just arrived on the island but after a few minutes we were seated outside and felt well taken care of during our meal. We had ice cold beers and split one of their pizzas with ham, rocket, and fior de latte mozzarella and it was truly outstanding. The next time we had one with tomato arugula and basil and it was also excellent, as was their caprese. Ylenia was so kind to us, allowing us to order in our broken Italian, and gave us the history of the place, which is family-owned and operated. Though we were only in Ischia for four days, we dined here twice, and would've a third time had we had better time management lol. I’m not sure if this is the best pizza out there — perhaps it’s one of those good pizzas from a good pizzeria. It’s definitely not the best pizza, nor the best pizzeria I’ve experienced. That said, the pizza is quite decent considering the price and service. The pizzeria itself is a good spot, with excellent, friendly service and a great team. I can recommend it — if you’re looking to enjoy GOOD pizza, this place won’t let you down

Food was outstanding - mozzarella patties to start, delicious smoked flavour, lovely. Isola verde pizza reminded us of one we had in Lucca once...no tomato sauce, just butter, rocket, delicious cheese and ham. The patate fritte were incredible - light as a feather inside, crispy on the outside; amazing 😍 Service friendly and efficient. Cannot fault this place. Thanks to Google reviews we found it 👌🏼👏🏼

The Best Pizza on Ischia!!! We went to many pizza places on Ischia Island, and don't get me wrong, all of them are delicious in their own unique way, but we have to give the crown to Pizzeria Da Luca! They have a long going, classic, authentic recipe from the 60's, and it can be felt with your taste buds! It's also such a cozy and welcoming place, the staff is so nice, and the prices are so low. Just amazing! I strongly recommend this pizza place to anyone who is visiting Ischia Island!

Came here two nights in a row and I have to say that the first night I definitely received much better service than the second night. I was alone the first night and they didn't really seem to want to attend to me but I lucked out and got a server who was the most wonderful spirit I met in all of Italy. I can't remember his name but he had a Lana del Rey shirt and was just the biggest sweetheart ever. His recommendations were all good, such as the peach white wine and the pistachio tiramisu. The pizza was of course exquisite and they have dozens of different combinations to please any palette. I brought in my mom the second night and she enjoyed it too. It was just a little more impersonal the next night, I think mostly because of the language barrier. Definitely reserve a table on the weekends because I noticed it gets pretty busy.

I had the most incredible dining experience at De Luca e Daniela in Ischia! The pasta was the best I've ever had, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. Ida was exceptionally friendly and helpful, adding a personal touch that made the meal even more special. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Italian cuisine in a cozy, family-run setting, I highly recommend De Luca e Daniela. Do try out their sorbets and Aglio E Olio Spaghetti . Can't wait to visit again.

Good meal but horrible service!! We have ordered 2 pizza (salami and capriciosa) and were quite satisfied, but when it comes to pay, it has began. The waitress (mature woman) brought us the bill for 26€ in a book, I put the a banknote of 50€ and pass it to her and said twenty-eight euro. She took it and left without saying anything. Then she acted like we disappeared!! When we reminded her we are waiting for the bill and rest, she brought us 20€ only. So she robbed us. We wanted to return back but after this experience we won't! I don't recommend to anybody!!!!

Was hesitating to come to this place beacuse of bad reviews, but we were hungry and nothing else was open. We all had pasta since we came for lunch and pizza is served only for dinner. All the pasta was perfect. The manager was professional and nice. Not american nice but italian nice. Italians don't always smile at you nonstop, but we were really satisfied with the service.

The restaurant was excellent. It is about 20 min walking from Forio port and much more quiet than those places with tourists. The food was exceptionally good and service was perfect.

we had gnocchi & medaglioni (similar to ravioli) with porcini, they were really good... fresh pasta! then we had 4 types of grilled meat, from 4 different countries if i remember well ... they were all tender & juicy! they serve abundant french fries. the only thing we didn't like was the eggplant parmigiana. for starters they served us mini fried pizza for free, it was also good. we also had a focaccia & we liked it. i heard that they do good pizza so we will come back to try 😉 the service was good. i think the restaurant is run by a family, they were all nice!

I went there with a friend during our holiday in Ischia. Some guys suggest us this place cause is famous for the "all you can eat with pizza" but also if you are looking for a good pizza in Forio. We took 2 pizzas that were awesome, with a good beer. The price was ok for what we took. I want to spend also some words for the service: the waitress with black hair and tattoos (Filomena) was really professional, easy going and friendly with us. One of the best service that I ever had. Absolutely the best restaurant on the island. We walked in around 14:00 not sure if the place was open or they still had food and waddled out at 16:00 overrun by the quality of the food. There aren't any menus, you just eat what the owner has to offer, he looks at you and decides. We had a couple of seafood dishes and finished up with some lovely dessert and meloncello. Go here!

The forastera's restaurant is a rustic restaurant, the food is fantastic, the waiters are very nice and there is a good view to the sea, it's not expensive and the portions are very rich.

A cute place with delicious food. The pizzas were incredibly delicious. The fried seafood got to be a bit too much, and probably wasn't the right dish for us, but others would most likely love it. The waiters were absolutely amazing and there was a DJ connected to the two conjoined restaurants that gave the place an amazing atmosphere. Toilets unfortunately could do with a serious upgrade.

Overcharged! I ordered Carpaccio & the meal photographed cost me 48 Euros + 20 Euros for 2 red shrimp. 68 Euros for this meal. Something is seriously wrong with this math. After reading the reviews, I completely agree- an overly friendly waiter pushing off menu items. We paid the bill knowing we were scammed & left knowing we would never return. Don't listen to the negative reviews. This place was our most fun dinner on our honeymoon and we came back 2 nights in a row. Both nights they had live music, and one night they included tambourines at each place setting so that diners could play along with the live music who circulated the tables. The waiters and owner are so friendly and kind. They put in so much effort to ensure you're having a good time! We thought the food and drinks were great. No other spot was as lively and fun right downtown. Some day we will be back!

Huge disappointment. 40 euro pasta was served with a meal worm. Luckily was not charged yet still had to pay the remainder of the bill… still a huge indicator of the hygiene manner of the restaurant. Waiter said the mealworm fell from the sky, yet was covered in oil and within the centre of the pasta. Do yourself and your hygiene a favour and dine elsewhere unless you love yummy mealworms 😝😋😋

I’ve never written a bad Google review but please avoid at all costs tourists! This place is such a scam as you can see in the other reviews. They mark up the prices massively. We paid 130 euro for an antipasto dish to share, a pasta of the day to share plus one beer only! They also make you wait for so long between each dish that you just feel like leaving. The place looks lively and busy but it’s all just for show. Worst experience of Ischia.

We have been in Italy for 11 days. We have visited Venice, Rome, and Ischia. This was absolutely our most expensive meal. Not because we ordered anything extra, not because it was a unique about the location or menu, but because they seem to take advantage of tourists. We ordered one anti pasta and received three, billed for all. Even after we clearly stated, we only wanted one. The strawberry spritz we ordered were double what we’ve seen around Italy. Two spritz = a whole bottle of wine at a fancy Ischia restaurant the night before. Nothing wrong with the food I suppose, but we never expected to have a €160 ticket for two adults and two kids.

I have never eaten worse pancakes. They absolutely do not look like the picture. Dry 3 small pieces without any idea. Supposedly a homemade recipe, I'm sorry Ischia if they cook like this at home. I guess the positive reviews are fake😂 Absolutely do not recommend.

Oh my goodness.. I have never had a worse burger in my life. I was super excited to just grab a chicken burger and it turned out to be the most tasteless thing I’ve ever had. I don’t even know if i even ate chicken. But over all the lesson I learnt is that it really is possible to mess up a burger :( The staff were fine- no complaints there. I’m just shocked that this place has such great reviews. :((

Really tasty burger! Decent at around 7 to 8 euros for a burger and 3 euro more for fries and a can of drink. Easy to order, service was fast and you could tell everything was made fresh.

While we love to enjoy Italian food when in Italy, a hamburger after an evening of cocktails was what we craved and this burger place in Ischia's town was the perfect place. Delicious burgers and fries with good service ,we returned the next two mornings for chicken wraps to take to the beach. Well priced with good opening hours.

They remodeled the inside from the last time we were there - making it more "kid friendly". My wife and I had the Zingari panino and it was equally fresh and delicious. We highly recommend the food here - especially the burger! We liked it so much we came back a second time. This was probably the best pizza I’ve had in my entire life anywhere on earth. I forgot the name of the pizza but it had lemon zest, prosciutto cotto, and cherry tomatoes on it. Was the best pizza I’ve eaten in my 30+ years on earth. The people that run the pizzeria and mini-store are super friendly and nice, locals to the island. The credit card machine wasn’t working so he even let me pay in dollars and apologized for the inconvenience. Will be back and will recommend to everyone!

Lovely, generational restaurant. Lots on the menu, but not always available. The pizza is amazing. Base is light, fluffy and, for me just right.

Pizza was loaded with toppings and had a light crispy crust. My wife's lasagna was good. Portions are large and prices are good. Nice shaded patio with a beautiful view. Right across from the ferry terminal.

Upped the price of our pastas by 50% (+4 EUR per plate) because they were gluten free (which is more than even the fanciest restaurants on the island add on). This is really excessive - if such a high price is going to be added it should be properly marked in the menu to prevent at whim pricing (i.e. charging higher prices to tourists, which happens a lot on the island).

Guys don’t speak much English here, but we managed to get some cappuccino, pastry and water. They did not provide us menu, I guess menu is only available when kitchen is open. You have to kinda know what you want here, because with English it’s hard to get grasp what place has to offer. Lovely place nevertheless right in front of port. We went here straight from Sorrento ferry.

We have been to Ischia and Naples three times. I have built my own woodfired pizza oven and take me pizza very seriously. So it is no light thing that we went there twice and we're trying to decide that this could be the best pizza we have ever got across our visits!! Perfect crust. Light yet able firm and not floppy. Crisp and chewy at the same time. The sauce was excellent. Not sweet, not bitter and just the right amount. The pizzas were cooked to perfection each time. Cooked to that just right sweet spot to give a toasty flavour without any hint of acrid burn. Not as easy as it sounds as there is only seconds in the difference so most pizza chefs at a busy oven play it safe and don't cook it as far as they can. But not here, each pizza was perfect. The setting is fairly basic but if you want to try top class pizza for low price, I really recommend this place

For what it is, the experience is great. Food is what it should be, there's not much to expect from the service, and the atmosphere is a tiny space packed with people eager to get their food - a nice vibe to sum it up. It all feels very local, and the produce used feels genuine. You can't beat the deal of getting a Margherita for 4.50€ from this place.

It's just a takeaway. They have 2 small tables outside. They aren't really friendly but the service it reasonably fast. The Margherita was fine, and the pizza rotolo wihh parmigiana was good. Overall, it is a good place to have a pizza at home.

We had a great experience at Ristorante Pizzeria da Raffaele! The food was really good and they looked after our vegetarian diet very well. Domenico and Franco were so friendly and helpful, and both spoke great English. They even made our pizzas spicy just the way we asked! Even when we were a group of 6 people. The place has a lovely, comfortable atmosphere — we enjoyed it so much that we booked again. They also offered to make dishes to suit our diet even if they’re not on the menu, which was very thoughtful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good food and great service in Ischia! 🍕🌿

Very great restaurant. We came here one time for dinner and came again and again. Perfect for lunches and dinners. If you want food that would feel like home/like your grandma cooked it, this is the place you should visit. Pizza, pasta even salads are great here. The service is perfect, everyone is smiling, very kind and considerate. If you want to order in English or even try Italian, they are patient and make you feel comfortable. Absolutely no comments to the service - horrible! While out on an evening walk in Forio, we decided to have some drinks near the sea and chose this place. When we ordered , it became obvious that the waiter was disappointed that we wouldn't order any food, but okay. We waited for more than 15 minutes for one beer and an Aperol. We wanted to leave, but the waiter brought the drinks (and some snacks, of course). We asked him to take the snacks back since we didn't want to eat, and the waiter started screaming and in the end he threw the snacks outside. We intended to leave after this scene without touching anything, and then that man pushed my boyfriend, called us CRAZY, and threatened to call the police. WE DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Excellent restaurant right on the beach! One of the only restaurants open in the afternoon as well as most in the area close and reopen for dinner. Vito was an welcoming host with a great team providing top tier service. Food was absolutely delicious, would highly recommend the rabbit gnocchi!

The worst experience in many years. The waiters don’t know a word in English, in touristic centers of Ischia. They seem chaotic, confused and kind of not present. We were waiting for our ferry, we looked at all the restaurants around nothing caught our eye until we saw pizza Village….. back home (Ontario Canada) we have Pizzaville, but in Italy, we have pizza Village, both the same name, but telling different stories pizza village, not only surpassed our expectations, but we feel at home.
