Very quiet. I hadn't been to a S&G for years and thought it would have the same atmosphere as the city restaurants (even for a Tuesday lunch) The staff were excellent as was the service. However the food, not so. Everything was deep fried in breadcrumbs. It was hard to distinguish the chicken from the duck and the calamari from the cheese. I asked why the boa buns was so dark and was told "that's how they are"

We started out with a very nice dinner. The staff kindly replaced fries with delicious sweet potato fries. The food was great even though they were out of steak. When we ordered drinks, we were informed about 1+1 free of the same two drinks so we just got two drinks each. The drinks weren't very strong so we appreciated the special offer.

Emma at Slug and Lettuce was absolutely fantastic — she gave us such great service and really made our visit special. She was friendly, attentive, and nothing was too much trouble for her. On top of that, she was such a lovely person to chat to, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! The cosy and inviting interior makes it perfect for groups, couples, or even a solo outing. The starters and cocktails were absolutely delicious, and Daniel provided excellent service, ensuring we were happy with everything. It was my first visit, but definitely won’t be my last!

I’m extremely disappointed with the service at Slug & Lettuce Watford. We had a bottomless brunch booking and received a call just 8 minutes before our reservation to be told it was cancelled due to an issue with the kitchen. The only food options offered were a salad or mac and cheese, neither of which were suitable for our group – and certainly not reflective of what we paid for. We had travelled an hour to get to this location and spent £60 on a taxi, only to be given no real solution, compensation, or even a proper apology. Despite the fact no food would be served, we were not offered an upgrade, discount, or alternative. Instead, we were simply told, "We can’t do it then." This level of service is unacceptable, especially considering there was no prior warning about any kitchen issues – something that could have easily been communicated earlier in the day. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to help resolve the situation left us incredibly frustrated and out of pocket. Would strongly reconsider booking here in the future unless improvements are made in communication and customer care. Ended up leaving due to this.

Good atmosphere and lovely staff. We did the bottomless brunch, there was 6 of us and we had a good time. Drinks came frequently unlike some bottomless brunches elsewhere. However, we ordered food and after 20 minutes the waiter came back and told us they didn’t have any of the things we ordered so we all had to pick something else which was then limited as they ran out of loads. I’m not sure why it took them so long to figure it out they didn’t have most of the stuff on the menu. The food then took ages to come. We had the table 7:45-9:45 and I think the food came out at 9pm. Other than that the drinks experience was great.

I had an excellent experience at my brunch earlier today!!! the drinks and food were amazing and Emma was a fast and attentive server! She truly made for a wonderful and memorable experience, will definitely return, cannot recommend enough

came here to see the ucl final and it was super busy!! thought I wasn't going to find a seat but the server Harry managed to find us a table spare and we had a great time! Will be back for the season. Food was also nice, had some wings which were tasty.

Stopped in after an evening out. Fine enough. Not too busy for a Thursday. Punters are friendly. Big venue and has outdoor seating.

Came here to watch Forest vs Tottenham. Maya served us and was lovely & super friendly, upped our experience a lot. Would definitely recommend for food, sports and even a club night out in Watford.

Great place to meet and watch sports, watched the boxing here a couple weeks ago and the atmosphere was incredible, even had a decent photographer that night. Food is quality every time I’ve eaten there and had great bants and service from Myles, all the service guys always working hard and it shows.

Came to watch the game very nice place makes a change from other places I go to, the staff were very nice especially a lady called Michelle was very attentive and also made sure myself and my friend were looked after couldn't asked for more. Will definitely be coming back.

We went for a friend's birthday celebration, the food and service were fantastic. They do special celebrations for bday's. Disappointed with the washrooms. It is on the high street and there is parking 5 mins away.

We chose this place due to the reviews, we have coeliac members of the family and don't often have nice places to eat. The staff were amazing,our dietary requirements were understood ( never normally the case in restaurants) . The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The environment was lovely,great artwork on the walls ,I didn't realise how big it was,there is more tables at the back of the restaurant past the toilets big enough to hold a birthday gathering or large group. I will definitely be returning.

I went for lunch. Ordered mixed shish and my friend ordered vegan platter. Amazing, fast, delicious! The hostess was absolutely super. We left happy and stuffed!

It was definitely a memorable evening. The restaurant is done up well to reflect a middle eastern setting. The decor is spot on and ticks all the boxes. The food is good but probably didn't stand out. This could be because everything else about the restaurant was brilliant :-) we found the food was of good quality but some of the grilled meat felt a bit dry and over done. The potions are generous and we had to pack and take away a lot of food. The service is outstanding and this will be the key reason we will come back. The staff are an absolute delight and are always attentive. They deserve a 10 out of 5 points.

I dined with my partner at this restaurant on Valentine's day and we had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the food was absolutely delicious - everything was fresh, and the chicken and prawn dishes were perfectly soft and flavorful. The elegant atmosphere and beautiful decoration added to the overall charm of the place. However, the cocktails were a letdown; they were too sweet and overpriced for my taste. The service, unfortunately, left much to be desired. The staff seemed not well organised, running the entire restaurant rather than focusing on specific clusters. As a result, we were asked the same questions by multiple staff members and didn't have an allocated waiter. We were served by at least four different people, which led to confusion and more mistakes with our orders. In conclusion, while the food and ambiance were fantastic, the service did not match up. The restaurant also felt overpriced, especially with the automatic addition of a 12.5% service charge, which seemed unjustified given the service quality.

Buffet meal with wine. Draft beer on tap. Emon was an excellent server. Fresh food with naan bread made to order. With a wide selection of dishes.

I really enjoyed eating out here, fantastic food which left me craving for more, extremely family friendly and all the staff members are proactive. Tasty food and great customer service with amazing value for money. Our surver Emon was also great at explaining our food gave speedy and comfortable service. He is a great asset to the team along side the management staff.

The culinary offerings were exceptional, featuring a diverse buffet showcasing traditional Indian, Punjabi, and Bengali cuisines. The dishes were exceptionally flavorful and appetizing. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable. We anticipate returning and highly recommend experiencing the offerings.

Emon was our waiter and he was very polite, patient, and helpful.. he also recommended some dishes which were turely yummy .. I'm thinking to come back accompanied with some.friends of mine some of which are also like me food bloggers... the buffet has good selection of dishes to accommodate all type of people...

Went on the reopening night, it was great! Delicious buffet, comfortable seating, music and a magician!

My friends went on the opening day and had more variety of food. However today 13th Oct when I went their selection was minimal. No live stations, no noodle selection, no lota essa, no garlic naan, no parata, no pizza etc. Drinks was £4.20! However they did have tap water station to grab yourself. And further they charged service charge!! First time on a buffet. I'm getting up from the table to get the food and stand in queues...so why the service charge?? Food was good decent in taste, especially the lamb chops however I wouldn't be happy to pay full price for this selection of items. Further the positioning of the buffet dishes was cramped with one in front of another. Cross contamination going on.... People was dropping the fish onto the salad as the fish was kept at the back. Staff were ample and friendly. Big restaurant with plenty of comfortable seating.

Nana’s is my absolute favourite restaurant—I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and it never disappoints. The Lebanese food is always fresh, full of flavour, and so well made. Prices are great, portions are generous, and the service is top-notch. If you’re looking for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the best place in Watford for you!

On St. Albans Road, a short walk from Watford Junction station this place is an absolute jewel. A family run, authentic Lebanese restaurant with amazing, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly staff. It is, without doubt the best Lebanese food I've eaten outside of Lebanon! I can't compliment this place enough. If you're ever in Watford or the surrounding area, this place is definitely worth a visit. Absolutely amazing. They should be very proud

Visited Nanna’s while on a short stay nearby. Food was very reasonably priced and delicious. Great varied menu and service was very friendly and welcoming. My fussy daughter had a cheeseburger and it come with burger sauce which she didn’t like so they cooked her a fresh one and replenished her fries at no extra cost. Highly recommended restaurant.

Delicious food. Everything was fresh and tasty. Service excellent. My only gripe was the smell of tobacco smoke from outside which was rectified by the excellent young waiter without being asked. Very aware of customer comfort. Highly recommended.

The food was okay. The restaurant was empty around 7pm. The table setting was poor, except you like artificial flower pots and old cutlery (fork and knife) that doesn’t match on a serviette. We had starters and main but the waitress told us to keep our cutleries after the starters so we could use them for the main. I found it surprising seeing we were the only ones at the restaurant and our plates were being cleared. The milkshake was watery but tasted nice. Food was affordable. The restaurant didn’t look like the pictures, maybe because we didn’t go upstairs to the shisha lounge. There’s no parking space, you’ll have to look for a spot in the inner roads. I’ll say my experience was a 5.

Our server Rohail was super friendly and attentive. I had questions regarding portion sizes which he happily got me the answer for. And managed to accommodate us in seating us early before our actual scheduled time. The food itself was nice, it had lots of variety and was tasty. We got the taco sharer platter, the taste of Mexico and a brownie and churros. I enjoy the platter dishes as it allows you to try multiple things. The place was clean and items were cleaned off our table in good manner. Service was also very speedy for food and drinks.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, prompt serving, generous size-dishes, new additions to the menu quite often, good variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Currently they have a 2 for 1 cocktails offer from 3pm to 6pm. All the staff is very welcoming, special thanks to Jwala who makes you feel welcome and offers plenty of useful information on the current offers, menu specials and ordering and payment options.

Great experience with my friends but overall it is just your ordinary chain restaurant. I got the lettuce version of tacos with prawn- the prawns had a great flavour. The cocktails didn’t really taste like they had much alcohol in them but they did taste nice. I will say it isn’t the most cost friendly place- the small dish I got was 8 quid. Service was great though, friendly server- no issues there! :) Overall, I personally won’t be returning but it’s still a nice place!

Popped into Las Iguanas on Watford High Street for lunch during the summer holidays and had such a good time. They’ve got a great deal on right now where kids eat free with a main meal – a lifesaver for parents! My two tucked into the breaded fish and the burger, both gone in minutes. I started with calamari before tucking into sizzling chicken & prawn fajitas, with sides of creamy mac ‘n’ cheese and sweet potato fries – comfort food heaven. Washed it all down with a passion fruit mojito mocktail – really refreshing, and perfect for the sunny day. We couldn’t resist dessert to finish – the perfect sweet ending to a lovely meal. Big shout-out to Seth, our server – absolutely superb. Friendly, attentive, and made us feel really looked after from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!

The service at Las Iguanas was excellent thanks to our waiter rohail , who was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. They were quick to check in without being intrusive and gave helpful recommendations from the menu. Their warm attitude really elevated the dining experience and made the evening even more enjoyable.

Popped in due to being the area. Rohail was very prompt to assist us and food was served quickly. Great service. Food was good, not wow but thats ok. We needed a quick sit down meal so it was fine for that. Food has been better in the past but perhaps Las Iguanas have changed their strategy somewhat. Overall good, service and atmosphere was great all round!!

Had a really great experience here! The food overall was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed but lively. The only thing I didn’t enjoy as much was the bruschetta it had a bit of a fishy aftertaste for me but everything else more than made up for it. Definitely a place I’d come back. ♥️🤌🏻

This Italian restaurant is a gem. The pasta was fresh, the sauce was full of flavor, and the tiramisu was amazing. The staff was friendly and the place had a cozy, welcoming vibe. Definitely coming back!

We visited on a Monday night during Summer holidays. It was quiet when we arrived (6:30), but soon filled out. Fantastic ambience, a really good dining atmosphere with excellent decor and lighting. A few fruit flies were present this evening, perhaps due to the recent hot weather. Food and drinks were exceptional, with a very good menu on offer. Cocktails and wine selection and quality were excellent. Service was generally very good until the very end of the evening, when it took a while to get the attention of the team too take our desserts order. The team could perhaps be forgiven for this, given they had already brought out (and sang with!) a birthday dessert plate for us. Unfortunately, they did then also forget the coffee we ordered with desserts but apologised and removed it from the bill without issue. This latter service experience was when the restaurant was at its peak trade and there was no doubt the team were working hard, they were perhaps one or two people short though. Ok value for money at around £50 per head for two courses and two drinks per person. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Chain of Italian restaurants, which we’ve eaten at many times before. Food and service is always of a consistent standard. Deep fried mushrooms were tasty and the tuna steak was cooked perfectly. My Wife thought the pasta was bland. The only issue I had was with the Crème Brûlée, which is usually one of my favourite desserts. Very disappointing. Hardly any caramelised sugar on top and the Brûlée had a blanch-mange like texture, which was tasteless.

This place is truly beautiful, and the service we received was incredibly warm and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, and we left feeling so grateful for the experience. We will definitely be coming back!🙏❤️

We were visiting Watford for the WB Studio Tour (nearly 100 miles away from home!) and we were trying to find somewhere decent for dinner nearby, and we found this place (and were not disappointed). We came in as a walk-in on a very busy Friday night, and were seated promptly. Despite the sheer business, the staff maintained professionalism and quality of service throughout. We were even offered free limoncello to compensate for the long wait time (I had to say no as I was driving however the gesture was greatly appreciated!). The food was incredible as well - incredible quality, generous portions, and a great price. We shared the fried prawns in the spicy sauce as a starter, which was amazing. I had parpardoni with prawns and cherry tomatoes and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My partner had chicken and mushroom penne in a cream sauce, and she loved it. If we didn’t live so far away, we could come here regularly. If I ever do find myself in the area again, I will definitely try to revisit.

Had a fantastic meal at L’Artista in Watford! My friend and I shared a chicken pizza and the aubergine melanzane. The portions were generous, so splitting both dishes left us perfectly full. The aubergine melanzane was especially delicious, rich and comforting. A big thank you to the staff as well — they were warm, welcoming, and even halved the pizza for us without us having to ask. Really thoughtful service that made the experience even better!

Lovely Italian spot just outside of London. Starters were decent and mains were also pretty good. Would recommend the Rigatoni all’Ortolana and Festa del Bosco for veggie options and definitely try out the pizza!

I had heard great things about this restaurant from friends and family, so I decided to book it for my birthday. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a really disappointing experience from start to finish. We went on a Sunday evening around 5pm, and although the restaurant wasn’t that busy, the service was chaotic. We had about five different servers throughout the evening, all of whom seemed confused and uncoordinated. It was clear there was no leadership on the floor — the manager was just walking around aimlessly instead of actually organising the team. Our food arrived at completely different times. The pasta came out first, and we waited a full ten minutes before the pizzas arrived. When they finally did, the presentation was sloppy — they looked rushed, one was burnt on the edges, and there was a hair under the pizza on the plate, which was off-putting to say the least. The risotto was bland and lacked flavour. On the positive side, portion sizes were generous and the décor of the restaurant was quite nice. We were asked if we wanted dessert three separate times by three different staff members — another example of how disorganised everything was. When it came to paying, the manager tried to take my card out of my hand to put it into the machine, which as someone who also works in hospitality, I know is not acceptable unless the customer asks for help. Adding to the poor experience, Just Eat and Uber Eats drivers were hanging around the entrance near our table, which was distracting and didn’t create a welcoming environment. We took one of the pizzas home, but the takeaway box we were given was dirty on the bottom — not something you expect from any restaurant, let alone one with a good reputation. Sadly, despite the nice décor and portion sizes, the overall experience was far from what I expected and certainly not birthday-worthy. I won’t be returning

Went for a Sunday Roast and was pleasantly surprised. Portion sizes were very good and food tasted fresh. Pints come to about £5 each, which is very reasonable. You’re looking to spend about £30 per head with lunch and a couple of pints.

Just had the most delicious meal at the World’s Best Pub. Family owned and run. Friendly, homely feel traditional English Pub “with a twist” Creamy Garlic Chilli Prawns, Bacon and Cheese Burger and delicious Goats Cheese Salad were outstanding

Our favourite place for a Sunday roast in the Watford area. We've been back here numerous times and have tried their sister pub Royal Oak. It is soo hearty and delicious. They do tasty a la carte / sides too. The staff are attentive and accommodating. They sometimes do special fresh cocktails like margaritas too. The prices are so reasonable too.

Dropped by on a Friday evening and enjoyed an excellent meal, served promptly by friendly staff. Our dog was welcomed, toilet facilities were clean and well maintained and there was plenty of space to find a quiet corner. Only drawback is the limited parking locally.

Part 2 Sunday roast - get the beef short rib. You won’t be disappointed Part 1 The Prince George is a great family run pub with a great South African Themed menu! Try the curry, it’s was so delicious with a big kick. My partner said the burgers always taste great. Haven’t been in a while but have been to a few Tuesday Night pub quizzes hosted by Adam. Always a great laugh! They have always been so accommodating when going with a friend which needed to have a Gluten Free menu, they were extremely helpful in this regard, cooked her meal separate so there was no gluten contamination. Well done!

Arrived just after they opened on a Saturday. If this was an east end pub it’d be packed because it’s REALLY nice, I don’t know the location well but it seems off the beaten track. Very quiet from 12ish and starting getting busier at 3pm. Music playing was classic rock and some 80s pop. Currently table service. Ordered the halloumi fries (delicious! With minty yoghurt and pomegranate seeds) and then the mac and cheese - one with bacon and one without - and they were hot, tasty, but not too heavy. Ordered a bottle of Prosecco and got given raspberries and sparkling glasses. Attentive service and would definitely return.

Simply delicious. Couldn't fault the food! Huge, tasty, well cooked and very fine cuts of meat. This is the pork, the lamb and the beef. Roast of course. Lovely staff, warm and friendly atmosphere. The whole restaurant sang my mum happy birthday without prompt 😄 She was so delighted. 4 stars only because the restaurant room is a bit noisy (wooden floor). And they need to sharpen their knives so you can enjoy your meal without quite so much effort. Idea already passed on! We will be back. Loved it 😍

The quality of the food is good but on the day the meal was kind of incorrectly made. The madras was not a madras, the cans of coke 3.50 each, the samosa not that great and also expensive. The service was great and the garlic rice delicious too eat as well as the pashwari nan. I won't come back because the main dish was a little disappointing and the meal was too expensive! For the quality of the meal he price was what I see as a overcharged also the chicken used was low quality so I could not finish my main.

My wife and I order takeaway from spice lounge regularly and it always come fresh and piping hot. Delivery is always when they say it will be and we never had any issues. Keep up the good work guys!

I'm vegan and order here whenever I'm in Watford. They take the time to read and take note of dietary requirements and the food is so well balanced, fragrant and delicious! I recommend vegetable naga, bhuna, tarka daal, Bombay potatoes

Very pleasantly surprised. Good food, great service. Everything seemed fresh and hot. A little mild in case you want it "Indian" hot, just ask!

Food was delicious but they were so late delivering it. Can’t understand why the restaurant lied about how long the food would be. I won’t be ordering from there again. I did speak to them on the phone before the food arrived and they lied again about how long the food would be. They did send a bottle of Cobra as “compensation” but that doesn’t cut it I’m afraid.

We visited a couple weekends ago, and honestly some of the best Turkish grill I’ve had in a while. Service was brilliant! Can’t wait to be back.

Celebrated my sons 21st with Khalid and his team 07/10/2025 - we couldn’t have asked for anything more; we already knew the food and atmosphere were great quality have eaten with some members of our party at Opuz before but the staff went all out to make sure this was a special night for our family party of 13. Warm, welcoming and attentive, friendly and good humoured staff but not intrusive. Service for our large party was spot on, with everyone’s food served with good timings between courses and piping hot. Many of us in the group are trained and experienced in hospitality and service and we couldn’t have been better taken care of. A special mention to Isaque for going above and beyond - you made this important milestone celebration a very happy memory. We will be back.

The food was amazing and Ione our waitress was super great. I came to celebrate my birthday with my children and I wasn’t disappointed neither were they. I enjoyed my cocktails as well and my daughter had mock tail which she also enjoyed. My only disappointment was it was cold and the door was open so the food got cold quick but I told them and they gave me something on the house. Definitely would be back.

We used to love this place and came often. But today was shocking. We went with our baby stroller, and a staff member refused to let us sit — saying they “can’t walk here and there,” even though there was plenty of space. This is not just bad service, it’s discrimination against parents. We walked away feeling humiliated. If this is how they treat loyal customers with families, then they’ve lost us for good. We’re deleting the app and will never return.

My first experience trying this chain and it was great! I have an allergy to shellfish so the manager made sure to go through my options what I could and couldn't have and we weren't waiting long at all for our meals. Full of flavour and delicious 😋

It's always busy here during weekends, but I am always lucky to have a corner table not sharing with others. The food is really delicious and the broth is so tasty in the ramen. The hostess is very attentive and very quick on giving us a table. The atmosphere is great. I could see an open kitchen where they dispensed the orders. I also tried their healthy smoothie, although it's good but the glass is too small for the price.

It was so good we ate it so quick. Wife is gluten free, always amazing with staff asking and reassuring about allergies. Amazing staff, great service.

UPDATE: I had to call an ambulance because my girlfriend got severe food poisoning, so bad her lips turned blue. We had dinner at this Wagamama location earlier today. The service and atmosphere were great, but my girlfriend ordered the Tantanmen beef ramen and immediately noticed something was off about the kimchi in the dish, the taste wasn’t right. She’s very familiar with kimchi and eats it regularly, so she knew straight away it didn’t taste as it should. Unfortunately, she’s now extremely unwell, she’s been vomiting and is feeling worse by the hour. What started as a suspicion has turned into a serious concern. This is completely unacceptable, especially when the issue seems to come from a main dish ingredient. I’m not posting this lightly, but I expect a prompt and serious response. This needs to be investigated immediately to ensure no one else gets sick. UPDATE: I had to call an ambulance because my girlfriend got severe food poisoning, so bad her lips turned blue. Came for ninja warrior warford. Had lunch with a big group here and was really nice. Burgers were tasty but the wings were a bit small and dry. They were very accommodating and customer service was superb. The server, Diana, was very nice and they offered us a birthday brownie on the house. Very good experience with halal food, and plenty of parking available.

I ordered the Brisket Burger, Brisket loaded fries and Peri Chicken Wings. Food was pretty average, the brisket itself was really lovely as expected however the burger was just sort of plain? They’re very generous with their portions which is amazing however the burger lacked anything more than just brisket and a few pickles/onions. It wasn’t bad, just could have been amazing. Brisket fries were lovely, pretty much exactly as you’d expect in your mind! Wings were very poor, they almost entirely bring the overall rating down. Weird texture, slimy/stale/tasteless/dry. This all came to ~£35. Prices were very expensive on Uber Eats. For transparency, this was an Uber Eats takeaway so I did not get an indoor Service/Atmosphere hence 5-star.

I was really pleased with my takeout meal and service from Smoky Boys. I ordered sweet potato fries, BBQ Beef Brisket and Coleslaw, and a Smoked Jerk Brisket burger (all gluten free). The sweet potato fries were alright - a bit flavourless for my liking. The BBQ Beef Brisket and Coleslaw was my favourite - it was tender, and I enjoyed the slaw. I added a bit more salt once I got home, but that’s a minor preference. The Burger was well made, but I think I’d order a different one next time. Perhaps it was an abundance of brisket - I think I would’ve preferred a regular patty! That’s what I would order next time. In general, I enjoyed my food, and it was fresh. The gluten free bun also didn’t disintegrate right away, which is a huge plus! I found it very satisfying in taste and texture. What really impressed me was the care given to my intolerances - I called up to check if they could accommodate a gluten free diner, and was assured they were able to do that. After arriving at the restaurant and placing my order, the chef came out to tell me there was a discrepancy on the menu, and that one of the sauces on the item I ordered (despite it saying gluten free) had been changed, and was no longer safe to consume. He ended up making his own accommodation to the same dish so that I could eat it. This experience made me feel comfortable, and safe to eat. I really, really appreciated the service, and would happily go back for another meal. All in all, I was pleased, and I look forward to trying other burgers soon!

Barracuda is a smashing spot for lunch. I’ve had a great experience every time I’ve visited, and this time was no exception. The quality of the food is exceptional, and the staff are truly outstanding — friendly, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to great hospitality. The venue itself is spotless and creates a really nice, comfortable atmosphere. If I had one small critique, it would be the coffee — it’s just not quite up to the standard of everything else. That said, the rest of the experience more than makes up for it. I’ll definitely be back!

Lovely place, amazing food! We ordered many items in veg and non veg both, everything was delicious. From starters, main course to desserts. A little on the expensive side than regular restaurants, but I wouldn't mind overspending on such an amazing food and dine in experience. Also they serve good portions of each dish, so it is worth. Weekends might be busy, so do call and make reservations in advance to avoid long waiting time. We reserved the place for brunch, so no issues. They have ample space, but I wouldn't take a chance to find space as the food (specially desert) is super delicious!

Visited this branch for 1st time with a family member for lunch, the staff were friendly. The downside of my meal which was a chicken salad which on the whole was nice apart from the clumps of salt that seem to be in parts of the chicken slices 😳 If it wasn't for that I would have enjoyed my meal. There is parking at rear, the 1st hour is free the you need to pay. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere & there is seating in the back which has glass all around.

Like the fish, it was started off pretty much empty and alone with just the family but not long after, again like the fish, all the locals gathered like a schools of... The location of the place wasn't hard to find, there was a bus stop not too far away which is very helpful. The interior was nice, nothing too special but nice. The food was rather nice, we didn't expect too much but we did enjoy everything we ordered that day, even our little one ate more than usual. The staff were very polite, they did check up on us when needed but when it got busy, it was pretty hectic. So perhaps a few more staff during peak times. Highly recommend.

An excellent spot for lunch, plenty of tables available for walk-ins. The service is friendly, and the food is good, although the pizza base could have done with a little more salt. The prices were very reasonable, and all the pasta dishes were lovey. A wonderful atmosphere, They have a nice glass extension in the rear.

Ordered from UberEats, the portion for the fish was very small and you can't even taste the salmon/tuna in the rolls. The rolls were also cut very thin. The sushi also had a horrible fish to rice ratio, it's a brick of rice and a thin slice of fish. The salmon also looked par cooked on one side. The rice itself doesn't taste like sushi rice and is mid. And the fish itself is low quality. Not sure how it is in person but ordering delivery was a very poor experience. For the price, wasn't worth it at all.

Ordered delivery through deliveroo. When it arrived it was almost cold but that wasn't a big deal tbh. The prawn katsu was doughy and mushy. The curry sauce was tasteless. The sushi we ordered had tiny salmons and lots lf cold sticky rice. The vegetable gyoza was OK. The noodles we ordered wasn't even half a portion size. They should be honest about the sizes.

I normally eat at this restaurant atleast every other weekend ! During the week I order their chicken katsu and have done so many times in the past couple of months! Today my deliveroo order had a human long black hair in my katsu chicken buried under the chicken! I took a picture and sent it to them through the app demanding a refund as that was the only option I had ! They sent me 80p credit for a £10 order which had hair! Disgusting hygiene and even more disgusting customer service

Quite a few items were not available to order and the food that did come was bland and needed copious amounts of soya sauce to season. We had to also ask for cutlery. Service was friendly although we nearly paid for another tables order by mistake!

Was very excited to visit the place. The conveyor belt makes it different and the open kitchen. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is good and tasty and fresh. I know sushi is always expensive but I'm not sure 6 small dish with two drinks should cost nearly £60. However was a good experience.

Lovely place and I wanted to visit this place from long time ago but weekends were always busy so I went over a weekday and it was less crowded and I could peacefully enjoy my meal. Sushi options are great and you pick up from the belt as much as you like , they bill at the end depending on colour of your plate. Wonderful selections of hot food like katsu curry, poke bowl etc and cold food. They serve unlimited miso soup. I loved their collection of sushi and they’re made fresh.

A fire alarm and the gas getting cut off would ruin most restaurant going experiences. Not so today. The staff were amazing, looked after our two young children ensuring they had something to eat and keep them happy. We were provided with yummy food, once the gas was back on and their attitude throughout was exemplary. The staff were truly fantastic. Thank you very much for looking after us.

Decent enough breakfast but the booth we sat in had definitely seen better days, despite us being what looked like the first customers our table wasn't very clean (there was a hair on it) and what I found most objectionable was a 10% tip was added to the bill. I have no issue giving a tip for good service but I thought the fact that it was added automatically for just the two of us having breakfast was quite rude.

Really loved the food I had the new VEGAN up-beet-burger and it was delicious, although a little bit steep on the price it's well worth it and it also is a pro. Because if it was any cheaper I'd be tempted to buy it all the time and my diet would go out the window 😁. The atmosphere of the café/restaurant was really nice, music was a good choice. The staff were very helpful and saw to us very quickly, I would say this is a great place for kids or even adults because it being such a relaxing atmosphere anyone of whatever age can enjoy it. Would definitely recommend if either looking for a bite to eat or getting a proper dinner to eat in.

A very bad experience and for sure the last one at Watford: burnt chicken, unhelpful staff, small portion. I wouldn't give you a star! I made the order at self check-out and of course it wasn't what I had in mind. I asked the staff where is the manager and why is not labelled each product (smashed beef, etc. ) what you are selling so customer be able to order the food they want. A blue-eyed woman (probably the manager or supervisor there) was avoiding to answer my questions and was looking at me why I do not know your food. Totally unhelpful!!! Because it was a take away food with 3 dishes once I reached home I noticed the medium order ( chicken open buritto) - one of them because I had two, was more like small. Half of the container! And also it had black burnt chicken both dishes!!! See photos! For Tortilla management: if you want to still sell you need good managers, and not to sell burnt meat . And also the portion must be always the same. The staff puts less to spare some of the work they do.

Ive worked at intu centre for over 7 years and been going to this restaurant as i like the options and chipotle wasn't an option. Service has always been nice and clean restaurant. The reason i’m leaving this review is because the services at these restaurants are getting out of control and if you calculate getting a meal at least once to twice a week they've made money off of me. I went in to make my order. I see what seems to be a team leader doing delivery orders. I waited patiently only not to be acknowledged, as i waited patiently i guess staff saw i was waiting and directed me to the self service machine as he was too busy doing other orders, this is what he actually told me. Mind you there’s like 3-4 other staff so im sure one of them could have served me, which thats how it usually is and should work, as delivery customers are just as important customers as walk-ins. I was so shocked at what he said i said excuse me come again. As he caught me off guard and was being rude he corrected himself and said could you go to the machine to make order. I said no as i like my bowl a certain way, he was rude and theres other people that can help. He didn't try to do anything to take my order as the machines and online dont give certain options. I took it as he didn't want my money as if he doesn’t realise these machines his sending me to will soon take his job. I left to go to chipotle. It was a little bit further. Waisted my time waiting patiently thinking i was going to be served. The service at chipotle was amazing and the food taste better including the chips. Will not be going back to tortilla. If the team leader doesn't have proper training how do you expect the rest of the staff to behave.

I used to really enjoy Tortilla’s burritos and bowls – the chicken was well-grilled and the portions generous. Lately, though, the quality feels inconsistent: the chicken tastes more boiled than grilled, and the serving sizes are noticeably smaller. At £12–14, it doesn’t feel like good value anymore. I hope they return to the standards that made me a regular customer.

Not the best of experiences, I wouldn't recommend or visit this restaurant again. I came for a quick click & collect order. I ordered my food via the website, which was relatively straightforward, but you need to verify and save your card on the website, which is not the best option or the most secure in my option. Around 10 minutes later I visited the restaurant to collect my food. The restaurant was not busy. Just before me was an Uber driver, who was served and I was after him to collect my food. The young guy at the collection point, completely ignored me for a few minutes. Then when I asked politely if I can collect my food, which was visibly ready and getting cold. I was told to wait for him to clean some stuff, before I can collect. Extremely rude response, for a request which take seconds. My food was lukewarm by the time it was given to me. The food itself was soggy, and nothing special at all. Honestly overpriced for what you are getting and the rude service, just top it up. Will not visit or order again.

Went in to get a quick drink in the hot weather and was not let down. Orders were taken immediately and took a few minutes to be made. There was plenty of options to choose from, something for everyone. The smoothie I got was delicious and will be coming back to get it again.

Oh you guys. I decided to treat myself after a pretty rubbish week. This right here is £9.50 worth of the smallest and shockingly driest chocolate cake I’ve ever had. Genuinely have better quality and size from kebab shops. Very sad. Finger for an idea of size.

Lovely place with great service! I usually visit Heavenly Desserts in Watford for their delicious monkey bread, which is my absolute favorite. However, this time it wasn’t quite up to the usual standard. I mentioned it to the manager/chef Larry, who was incredibly understanding and professional — he took the feedback really well and even offered a free waffle as a kind gesture. Great customer service like that really makes a difference! I’ll definitely be back soon to try the monkey bread again.

I got the Speculoos and honestly it was one of the best biscoff milkshakes I’ve had . My go to at any store has been a biscoff shake and this is one is up there in terms of taste . It’s a a great price point as well and on top of that they offer 20% student discount which is amazing. We also got the berry milkshake which was also very good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the store was clean as usual. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Great experience at the Red lion in Bushey. Lucy the host was very accommodating and looked after myself and a friend for lunch. Shout out to Beth the chef for the day for my amazing Tomato, mozzarella and Avocado sandwich.

Shockingly bad service, establishment expects loyal customers to fund the failure of their soda pumps by charging inflated prices for bottled alternatives. £18+ for a shandy and one g&t. When asked whether they could apply any goodwill since the high price was caused by a failure of their equipment, the exceptionally rude bar person claimed I was being rude (for daring to question expecting the customer to cover the higher cost of individual sodas) and refused to serve me (after pouring the drinks). I asked to speak to the manager who did not witness what happened and said, 'I'm afraid I have to back my staff member'. No, actually, you don't, long established customer service etiquette is to apologise and attempt to find a way to satisfy the customers concern. Won't ever be going back and will letting friends know of this incident and I doubt they will either. *UPDATE* I didn't say I was in Watford, definitely the correct venue, I'm not senile this happened a couple of weeks back so better to not try and pretend this didn't happen. If you have bottled lemonade / sprite, your staff don't know this and you also have a staff member claiming they're the manager instead of yourself if it wasn't you I spoke to*

Not bad. Decent starters, good steak and lasagne. The veg chicken burger was very hard and dry unfortunately. Good beer and service via app worked well. Dog-friendly so that's a huge bonus for us.

Food’s always amazing! We love the double chicken burger! My other half loves their Sunday roasts! Specifically the turkey, always hot and massive, the extra yorkies are a must! Staff are always helpful and supper chatty to everyone.

The Red Lion Bushey Pub is an old-fashioned pub with a nice outdoor garden where you can sit outside and relax with your friends. They have many different types of beers and alcohol to choose from. The food is okay but nothing special. The people who work there are friendly and make you feel welcome. If you want a laid-back place to hang out with your friends and have a drink, then the Red Lion Bushey Pub is a great option.

Would have given this place 3 1/2 stars if we were able to give half stars. We ordered a starter (chicken wings)- on the menu it’s called “while you wait” but it came with our mains. The kids were not impressed as we only had drinks fill their bellies in the meantime. The table we were sat at was not clean even though we were told when we got there to wait while they “prepare” a table. I’m sure that should include wiping a table down. “All” the food finally came and...yes, it was worth the wait. The Nutella milkshake was amazing too. You all should try that. 😊 Food was good... I liked the decor...it was made of very interesting and familiar materials. We had to pack up the chicken wings in the end as we didn’t have the luxury of spending a long time out that day.

They may have been famous for their burgers, but you got to try their stake. Very well cooked and very reasonably priced. [Updated on Tuesday 16th January 2018]~ visited tonight at 9 pm sharp, to our surprise, the lone female waitress told us that they are closing so no food, when we asked when they close normally, she said 9 on weekdays. We left the restaurant, but then we saw the timing on the door, it said 10pm. We just stood discussing with our other friends what to do now over the phone, then waitress came out and asked us to come and they will serve us. She probably thought we are calling to check with other branch or something. However the service was rather disappointing. It was like she did not wanted to serve and was bit rude as well. So based on above experience, I am knocking 3 stars off now. I guess there is a reason why so many people here complaining about their rude staff.

Food is overpriced for what you get. Very disappointing. Table service is also terrible, very awkward. Atmosphere was not good either, can hear running water. Music is very loud, can converse very well. The main disappointment of this meal was the nachos, they are greasy and flavourless. Would definitely not recommend, honestly Macdonalds is better.

Excellent food and menu wth extensive options to suit every pallet! The food came quick and they were able to accommodate our needs when something we ordered wasn't available. Only slight downside was that the service we received was quite slow when looking to receive the bill and pay

What an absolute fantastic place, very different to your normal meat and burger joint, they have lots of different qwerky options and wish I could try them all. It was very clean and the service was fantastic and very quick, the food was almost perfect if it wasn't for a not juicy enough burger but that is personal preference. The only thing that really knocks the star off was they put the service charge on the receipt to make it look like you have to pay it, the customer should be the one to decide and not be fooled into paying it.

Starters Chicken wings covered in buffalo sauce with blue cheese dip on the side. Yuk, very poorly executed the chicken was over done and quite small and the buffalo sauce was too tangy for my liking. Perhaps with the bbq sauce this would have been more palatable. The cheese sauce that comes with it tasted like blue cheese melted in oil.. it is horrific surely something had gone wrong with this pairing sauce, it shouldn't be served to humanity. Chilli beef covered in cheese Don't get this, bland watered down chilli beef, it was not enjoyable dish and even the look of it is mediocre. This side I can't recommend to anyone. Main Pulled beef rib burger. Excellent taste but poor brioche bun and construction. The bun falls apart as you eat it, perhaps for pulled meat one needs a harder bun? The actual beef rip was delicious super rich but so soft. Can recommend this burger but you might want to knife and fork it. Dessert Knickerbocker glory Delicious absolutely recommend this to anyone it was superb! Lots of chocolate sauce, icecream, raspberry sauce and Oreo biscuit crushed throughout! Service Lunch service staff are minimal and somewhat attentive. I think the owner may have walked in after sometime as he was much more attentive and so was the rest of the serving staff. Otherwise they are professional and had no other issues good work guys. Overall don't come for lunch and eat sides, they are terrible! However this place does excellent mains and dessert! They just need to work on staff attentiveness during lunch time.

Family meal out - deposit required to book in group of 9 even though website states 10 or more. No free parking near restaurant but there are plenty car parks 5-10 mins walk. Service staff seemed a bit abrupt like they had no time although it wasn't busy at all for a Saturday night. Staff could have been a bit more friendly. The decor of restaurant was nice. Ambience/atmosphere ok... Seemed a little quiet for a Saturday. Menu was enticing but very expensive. The chicken wings starter was very small comes in 3 or 6 portions. Although double jointed it was very small. The flavours was underwhelming, nicely crispy on the outside but not sufficiently moist in the inside. The milkshakes were far too sweet and mocktails terrible. Mains: we ordered smoky ribs, braised beef and kansus ribs, Louisiana chicken, rib eye steak, philisteak sandwich and the smokestack platter consisting of different beef offerings, chicken and sausages. A good sample of the menu bar the burgers. It was all lacking. Very disappointed. The steaks had no seasoning, served with a terrible sauce. As you can see from the pic the steak was much less than rare in some parts, just over raw even thought we asked for medium. The ribs texture was ok but again the flavour was completely missing with a very strong beef smell. Everything was quite sweet. All in all a very disappointing night with a big bill to match. Atmosphere was cozy. Service was good, the uniform of the waiters is very fancy, so it was kind of funny to me. Most of the food was yummy but some not so much, like the gnocchi was very flavourless. But the desserts are the best I would recommend the strudel very much, we thought it was odd on the menu but were surprised. A plus is they had fettuccine Alfredo which most restaurants don’t have in UK so you can try it here. Very very pricey. I would have to choose other Italians near which are a lot cheaper and better food.

My dad loves this place and I can see why. Great food, authentically Italian. Charming service. Will go again. We had three courses and didn’t stint on the wine, as we were celebrating two birthdays earlier in the month.

If I could give this 10 stars I would we dined Friday night for my husbands birthday food was exceptional. But the best part service Gabriella is wonderful. Kind and friendly and helpful. We will be going back soon. I do not understand the bad reviews this place is a neighbourhood gem. I go to the Hampstead villa Bianca often and the only difference is there is no Gabriella there. Food is exceptional at both.

Underwhelming and disappointing, we spent £66.00 for what was 4 Pizzas, under cooked, cold and pizza bases that were very doughy/chewy to eat. Poor value for money. Pizza's not sliced, apparently you have to request to have your Pizza sliced, why don't you ask the customer if they would like it sliced? Our order was for take away, so it is impossible to grade the atmosphere. When we looked at the bill, it didn't add up as it turns out that they added the service charge for take away. Despite bringing these points to the staff and manager, no goodwill gesture of gift card or % off a next visit was offered - we would have been glad to return back with a throw in. Biggest problem was that the pizzas were cold. Based upon this experience, we certainly wouldn't recommend ordering pizza from Villa Bianca, you're better getting take away pizzas from either Bella Rosa or Vincenzos. Had the chef’s tasting menu, and it was worth every penny. Five creative courses, each beautifully presented and full of unique flavors. The wine pairings elevated the meal even further—an unforgettable evening overall.

Came to celebrate Mum and Dad's wedding anniversary and staff were delightful in making sure we had a wonderful meal and going above and beyond in making the occasion special. A lovely evening of celebration!

We had a wonderful meal at Villa Bianca celebrating my birthday this evening. Gabriella was very attentive and made a real fuss over us. Every course was delicious and at the end my desert came out beautifully decorated. We have now visited this restaurant quite a few times and have never been disappointed by the food or the service. If you’re looking for fantastic Italian food then look no further.

Visited in March 2025: First time visit to ToL. We’ve always walked past but never been up and until recently. We dined in, the restaurant is deceivingly bigger than it looks, with more bench seating at the back. The restaurant space was relatively clean and initial welcome was friendly. They had a good menu choice for a Iftar Buffet, for a Ramadhan special, so worth trying if you are new. We decided to go for classics - Chicken Tikka with Chips and Mixed Kebab with Naan. Although the dishes were fresh and appealing on the eye. It didn’t have that taste that I was hoping for. For us, it was a little bland, which was a shame. They had a substantial menu with typical Lahori style cuisine. The toilets and basin at the back were not the cleanest - so that’s something to note. I wouldn’t be back in a hurry but definitely worth a try.

Would NOT recommend. Ordered a takeaway from here this evening and it was horrible. The chicken Korma was laced with oil - it had a visible layer of oil on top of the curry which was disgusting and the chicken was dry. The meat samosas I ordered were extremely hollow and instead of filo pastry it was puff pastry which I didn’t like. The peshwari naan was also bad and more tortilla like as opposed to naan. Overall a huge disappointment and I will not be purchasing anything from here again.

We recently came across Taste of Lahore Watford on Uber Eats and decided to give it a try. The menu is extensive, but we went with the Mixed Platter, which came with: 4 lamb chops, 4 tandoori wings, half a grilled chicken, 2 chicken kebabs, 2 sheekh kebabs, 4 lamb tikka, 4 chicken tikka, 2 naan, a large portion of chips, salad, chilli sauce, and garlic sauce. All the meats were packed with flavour, and we could taste all the authentic spices. The sheekh kebabs were the best for me—juicy and perfectly seasoned. The only disappointment was the lamb chops, which had more fat than meat on them. The naans were large and perfect to make kebab rolls, and the sauces were a hit. The chilli sauce had the right amount of kick, while the garlic sauce was smooth and creamy. Despite the 30-minute delivery time, the food arrived warm and well-packaged. For £45, the amount and quality of food was worth it. We'll definitely be ordering again or going in to dine. So much on the menu that we want to try.

Amazing food, as always. The seekh kebabs were delicious and the Karahi Lamb was very tender and full of flavour. The service was excellent and we even got free rice pudding! 5 stars!

We both got the much anticipated and loved McRib and it was awful. I had two pieces of onion and a fraction of the sauce my wife did. I fear it has been changed to suit a much lower budget.

When ordering on the app the staff got my customised triple cheese burger wrong when it was the most simple thing which is making it ONLY cheese. Most of my food was lukewarm and the fries were cold. Never coming here again

Whenever we order from this Mcdonalds it is always a mess, no care taken when packing the bags everything looks like it was literally thrown in the bag and you either have to build your burger again or its crushed and looks like it has been run over. Large chips had less then our sons happy meal last time and the burger buns were burnt. Only time we have been happy with the meal was when we went to the restaurant to collect it ourselves.

Went there as a stop over on the way back home. Ordered on the app and then picked up in store. Went back to the car and started eating and very disappointed that the chips were cold. We had left by now and obviously couldn't go back. Surely the server would check this or they have a timer if how long those chips have been out. What a waste of money. Made an order on Uber East - food came quick but stone cold , all in mess , fries undone and pale white , bacon just a piece like someone’s leftover …. Absolute disaster ! Wrote to Uber - they are not bothered !!! Complete waste of money ! That branch is absolute rubbish and never again !

This place must be the worst McDonald’s in the UK. They consistently get orders wrong, whether that be via delivery or when you order at the restaurant in person. Even worse is when you go into the restaurant in person, you are a poor third place after the drive through and the delivery guys. Tonight we went in and even though the restaurant was empty, it still took 35 minutes to get the food. Again, we were sidelined for the Uber guys. Another issue with McDonalds, more in general, is when you order food for delivery. There is absolutely no simple or quick way to resolve items which are missing. You have to get in the car and sort it out, which defeats the whole purpose of having food delivered, plus you pay a large uplift on food, and also pay the delivery charge and fee. Last week a whole meal was missing and when I asked for some kind of discount or freebie for my trouble, they were stunned at why I was asking. Our visits to McDonald’s are becoming less and less frequent now, and the way things are going, plus it’s no longer fast food and cheap, we are likely to quit altogether.

I ordered a chicken shish wrap with everything in it including chilli sauce and garlic, which it had neither in and the wrap was pretty much empty, plus the chips were like eating cardboard,god knows how they were cooked or what oil they were cooked in but they were disgusting ,they seem to have gone down hill big time. I gave them 2 stars which is overgenerouse but won't be going back,what a shame as I thought originally that it was the last decent kebab shop in Watford but no more.

If the chef is not in, tell the customer. If the menu is limited for today, tell the customer. If you serve food from frozen, make sure it is piping hot. If the meat on the plate is still half frozen, don't reheat the whole plate, just the meat! Simple! How long have you been running a restaurant? I assume customers don't like to question or complain. Starters were good, but only cold starters, no hot starters today! Then he gave us a few hot starters for free, but again watery because it was from frozen. So, not a freebie, more an annoyance.

Family environment, decent food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. The place is not posh but pretty decent and food is worth every penny. The quantity of food was also good. Bread that they served for starters was good but I think bread's quantity wasn't sufficiently.

I didn't enjoy my kebab at all! And for my first night out in AGES, it was so disappointing! The second kebab of the night that I threw away! The meat was rubbery and worse of all there was no red cabbage...my favourite bit of a kebab!

I am absolutely disgusted with this pile of oily mess. WTH is this!! There was no seasoning totally tasteless, the batter on fish was soggy and stuck to my chips which couldn't peel off and eventually left this tasteless rubbery skin which still had its raw aroma........I am very disappointed waste of money as you can't expect anyone to eat that.i had to chuck this away.. You've actually become the worst place in watord since raising your prices. I won't be returning again!

I popped in unplanned as the Chinese was closed, but I was not disappointed. I had a large chicken shish and medium chips, which came to around £17, so not cheap, but I would have spent more than that at the other restaurant. The shish was cooked to order and I really liked their 'homemade' style chilli sauce - often I've found some chippies use almost a ketchup/chilli mix. The staff were great, the lady greeted me really warmly when I walked in. I didn't have to wait too long for my food, and it was all still piping hot when I got home, including the chips. I'll definitely be going back.

Nice fish and chips. Chips particularly nice. Decently priced between £6-10 for a cod and £3 or so for chips. Only annoying thing is they don’t accept cards under £15! Rarely bring cards or cash out now so would be good to just accept digital cards for those ad hoc visits.

Absolute disgusting behaviour CASH ONLY I hate that when tax dodgers do that. First of all you pay £11 for a doner wrap which used to be a fiver then no card payment. Staff refused three of my friends in this place they said because boss need to pay the wages in cash to us. It's ridiculous so Cash only. If your bill comes more than 15 quid they say card machine is not working.Next door chicken shop take card payment even for £ 3. They have overheads too. They also get charge by the bank still they take cards but avoid that chicken shop too horrible smell of dirty oil in their chicken. Actually avoid this whole parade you better off.

5 star experience — my favourite place to visit when I’m in Watford, delicious food at a reasonable price. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, they advised me on the vegetarian option for the person I was with and always provide top quality meals. I particularly enjoyed my last visit here, especially as the lady helped me for a seat with my disability. The food they serve is so good, I actually go out of my way when I’m in the area to eat here. Fully recommend to other people who are looking for a place to eat a healthy meal with great food. Thank you for your service and kind staff. I am from Scotland and have never experienced this type of food in the Aberdeen shopping centre. This food is the best!

Excellent masala chips their own ketchup sauce was amazing and the workers were amazing great customer service. My daughter who isn’t too hit on spice ask them to make it mild and although had some test she ate it all!

Fab food, chicken and rice bowl with 2 Samosa on the side gave me a free drink. Tasty, hot, soft chicken, crispy samosa. Recommend this place!

Had a paneer tikka Kathi roll, fries and a can of Limca for £8.90. Food was served within minutes, piping hot. Fries were really crispy and the portion was a good size for one. The paneer tikka roll was filling and tasted very delicious. Not too spicy. The kathi roll was a flaky paratha that crumbed a bit but tasted really buttery and crispy. Staff were friendly and helpful. We dined in and the lady at the counter brought our food to us. They clear and clean all tables as customers leave. They have veg and non veg options. Would eat here again.

This place is an absolute joke. I ordered large fries, and two rice bowls through deliveroo. The fries were a small portion 'at best', and that's being generous. They were also stone cold, bearing in mind that we're in one of the hottest summers and I live 10 minutes away. The fries in the plate in the photo, are the entirety of fries that were in the box and the bag. The rice bowls were luke warm, and didn't contain much doner or rice. The food was also dry and not very fresh.

I placed an order in uber eats . I placed veg kebab but they send chicken kebab. When I call to store . They are talking rudely even they didn’t say sorry . It’s cross contamination how can they will send chicken for vegetarian person . They are telling to place order again . It’s not your mistake to spend money again to place order. After that I went to store today to ask the team they are irresponsible even they are not saying sorry for the customer . And they are saying it was busy that’s why it happens the guy who talk to me he said I will speak with manager and let you know but nobody back to me still now and I ordered on the same day in store I ordered flaming fries but I didn’t see any flaming powder in it

Called in for a quick bite to eat after football. Wasn't too busy, ordering system is easy to use like most fast food outlets. Everywhere was clean staff were helpful and polite and the food was faultless and definitely value for money.

Absolutely wonderful food, there are so many food choices in Watford yet however hard I try my appetite always takes me to GDK, and I’m happy for it. The donner box is better than sex. If you love yourself and want to give your tastebuds the time of their lives, Come to GDK Watford. But what’s better than the food is the service and the empoyees, they never fail to be kind and helpful in every way possible, I feel like I’m at home with friends and family rather than GDK. Just stopped here for a quick bite. They do not have 3 pieces of chicken on their menu, you have to order 2 + 1 which is more expensive. I selected Eat In on the machine but was served my food with no tray. On opening my food there were 2 legs and 1 side breast served in 1 bag. Whatever combination they used for the 2+1, it's not a good outcome. I asked for a wooden fork. They didn't have any. I asked for a hand wipe, they didn't have any. The chicken was okay, but overall...this is a dog turd of a KFC.

It is not one of the healthy options for eating but it is good for a quick bite. The chicken is tasty. The service is good and the wet tissues are freely available. The spicy wings are really tasty. Having awareness the meal is high in calories fat it can be done once in a while. All in all a good experience.

Surprised at how good the pizzas were - crispy, thin bases, not oily, fresh toppings.. and options for dairy free and gluten free diets (if this is something that you need). Soft drinks bar included a lemonade stand which was very tasty and also reasonably priced. Service was friendly and very quick. Pizzas were reasonably priced and really quite tasty. Atmosphere is chilled. Will be back.

Gave these guys a try for the first time today. Really friendly and chatty, as they guide you through the whole process of creating your own pizza or selecting one of their menu classics. They also kept calling me by my first name - which was a really nice little extra. Great value. £9.79 for gluten free 12 inch pizza and you can have as many meat & veg toppings as you want!! What's not to like 😁😁😁🍕🍕

rude staff, order online, after 25mins they will cancel and when you call asking why it was cancelled, they say address is to far even though it's between 10-13 mins drive and get told if I want the pizza so bad I should just collect it

The manager is a highly respected man which has an incredible ability in communicating with children.The staff are all kind and friendly. This creates an amazing environment which everyone can enjoy spending time in. They try to make your food as fast as possible.They will not delay or be rude anyhow. 4 of my favourite dishes were: Pasta(chicken and mushroom) Pizza(Chinese chicken and Tandoori chicken) Burger(Beef and chicken) Kebab(special chicken shish) There is a variety of different sides, desserts and ice creams to enjoy within or after your food. Their foods are also all Halal! I also recommend you their magic box which has an amazing price for what is inside.

This is the second time I order from them and it’s again a disappointment… I ordered 2 calzones and both were uncooked properly , the dough on top was extremely raw and I couldn’t see it because it was all covered in mozzarella. I felt like had to put it in the oven for another 20 mins to finish the job lol. 👎🏻

I used them in the past without any issues, but out if blue sky I tried to order the usual and they would cancel the order without any explanation. When I called them I was told there is a minimum order requirement now, although on the app it is clearly specified no minimum order for delivery.

The potato that is advertised with cheese and bacon came with a couple of bits or bacon and literally no cheese, this is not what’s advertised. I was missing the garlic butter too please see pictures attached? I tried to get through to your team in the phone but struggled and no email address to contact so I have had to write this review for others to be aware.

This is my last time ordering from this store. There's an issue every time to the point where my partner and I decided to only order for collection from the Ricky store instead as it's so much better, but I was feeling rough tonight and didn't want to make the drive so decided to order instead. Bad move, I waited an hour and 20 minutes for cold pizza. Never again. The last 5 or 6 times without exception there has either been something wrong with the order or delivery taking an excessively long time and it's an argument to get them to fix anything. I don't understand why this store is so awful when the next nearest one can manage just fine.

I had a very disappointing experience today. The guy at the counter (an tall Asian male with a beard) was extremely rude and disrespectful. He showed no sense of customer service and was very unprofessional in the way he spoke to me. It was honestly upsetting, and because of this experience, I won’t be buying pizza from your place again. I strongly believe staff should treat customers with basic respect—this kind of attitude is unacceptable. Please consider who you hire to represent your business, because one bad employee can lose you loyal customers

Ordered at 1:15…. Order was marked as out for delivery within minutes of placing the order… strange as it was so fast. Was updated to delivered at 2:10…. No food. No call. No way of contacting the restaurant until morning… app has no information on how to get in contact with a driver? Useless really. And a waste of time waiting after working all day, tomorrow I will be contacting for a refund. Please what ever you do, don’t order from the app or the branch in Watford! Seems like they just closed the site and never even sent out any food.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Can't even get an order correct, when called, they claim everything was sent when it wasn't! Started blaming the delivery driver! 0 idea of customer service and extremely rude staff who clearly don't know the meaning of good customer service! On top of that, they've put the bare minimum toppings on the pizzas. The only good thing were the dips! Don't bother wasting your money on this place unless you want to pay full price for half your order.

If there was an option for a negative review, I would definitely choose that. Yesterday, I came to pick an order and accidentally spilled my drink. Instead of handling the situation politely, the sales assistant (an Indian man) started shouting at me and said I must pay right away, otherwise he wouldn’t let me leave. I reminded him that this is the UK, where we have rules and respect for individuals. His behavior was extremely unprofessional and completely unacceptable. Truly a shameful act. Had the worse pizza ever I asked for a pizza with bbq sauce base it came swimming in sauce covering the vegetables I complained and said it unexcepable the manager at watford was rude and said if I wanted one I would have to go pick it up..I said no as I don't drive hence paying for delivery.They did after a long argument deliver another 45 mins after..After my guests had gone !! I will never buy another pizza from them again. The second one was cold so it was thrown

I must say, the last time I had a decent, high-quality burger from McDonald’s was back in 2009. Since then, no McDonald’s location in London has come close—until today. This particular branch changed my opinion. The burger tasted fresh, there was no melted cheese stuck to the wrapper, the meat was cooked just right—not dry or overdone. Truly great quality. Hats off to the kitchen team! However, the service did let me down a bit—though I believe the fault lies more with McDonald's overall than this specific branch. I placed my order through the app, but when I arrived to collect it, the app stopped working and gave an error code. Despite the app's message telling me to speak with staff, they were unable to help. I’ve faced similar issues at other locations too, and the response is always the same. I believe McDonald's really needs to train their staff to handle app-related errors properly. Otherwise, what’s the point of having an app? Back to the issue: one staff member blamed my phone and network, then called a manager who, unfortunately, struggled with English and couldn't assist much either. I was asked to park and try again, but again, they insisted the issue was with my phone. Strangely enough, once I parked in the drive-thru area, the app worked fine—suggesting it wasn't my device at fault. All in all, the food was fantastic and the staff did their best under the circumstances. I sincerely hope McDonald’s takes this feedback seriously and works on resolving app-related problems across all locations. Well done to the kitchen team for the excellent quality—and thank you!

Good amount of Oreo in my McFlurry. Plenty of sauce in my fillet O fish. Chicken nuggets cooked at a perfect crispness. The wait is a bit long even I used the app to pick up and choose drive through. Still had to wait at the car park for the meals to be ready. Small car park but a very busy location. Beware that you might not be able to park there.

I’m writing this after being a customer for over 2 years, eating regularly with my family. My main gripe of with their delivery service. We only live 2 miles away, yet the food comes lukewarm at best. The most annoying thing though is that they can never seem to get the order correct. Generally, an item is missing. Now, even when I collect from the site, I check and even then, items are missing. When eating in, it’s generally a clean place. But the music is so loud and the toilets are not clean. Overall, a disappointing McDonalds location. Shame - MackieD is our favourite!

This is the WORST McDonalds I have ever been to. I ordered Big Mac only and had to wait 15 minutes even though the display showed my order as ready for collection. The staff totally ghosted me and then the burger came discombobulated…. While I was waiting there were many customers waiting long time and complaining of items missing from the order. No apology at all . Dirty table terrible toilets and the car park is a joke !

The DRIVER was terrible! NO MCFLURRY, NO LARGE COKES AND NO SMOOTHIE! I was blamed and told it was YOUR FAULT (as the customer) and THEN ASKED FOR MONEY, because of NOT BEING PAID TO RECTIFY. DECIDES TO TAKE A BREAK and NO RE-DELIVERY and NO TELEPHONE ANSWER FROM RESTAURANT. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Went 5.30pm as soon as it opened. We placed the order and because they were being kept busy with the online delivery orders. Our order took long. No fault it shows you how popular the place is. The food was very good and the staff at the front was always updating us and apologising for the delay. We will most certainly be going again. Tasty food.

Absolutely love Slow boat. My parents have ordered here since I was a kid. I'm now 28 & living on my own with my own family & still order from here. Staff are lovely as always, food is lovely as always. They say delivery can take up to an hour & a half on the weekends but they always deliver alot sooner. Cannot fault you guys

Delivery time was 10min earliar than I was told which was great. The crispy duck was nice. All other dishes were okay. I ate it all but I have had better. I would still come back and order again.

Instead of slow boat suggest they rename it dead-slowboat. 2.15 hours still no food and attitude of staff is disgusting. "What do you want me to do about it" was their answer when I asked how much longer my order was going to be. When it comes eventually I hope to bloody God it is out of this world. Absolutely disgusting service, the food is always lovely, however expecting you to wait 2 hours for a delivery is just ridiculous, barely even an apology, chased after 1hr40 mins to be told they hadn't even started cooking it. Will not be using them again.

Taste wise the pizza was great. But the offer was literally cheatful because of its size and quantity. The medium pizza is £5.99 but they gave us ‘1+1’ offer for £13+ pounds which is unacceptable. Terrible experience.

We used to order regularly but voted with our feet up until today when my daughter asked for pizza. It was burnt and when we complained we were offered a new pizza that was delivered in 25 mins, but strangely they wanted to collect the burnt pizza to take it away! My kids were hungry so we gave the one slice each of the overdone pizza as it was still edible. Surely they could see the state of the pizza when it was cooked/cut and please re-think the attitude of collecting the pizza that's gone wrong!

We ordered a super large pizza from Top pizza Watford. Taste wise it is ok but they portion of chicken is very poor it’s not worth for 12 pounds . And they order taking guys behaving badly that guys blame us when we ordered pizza .

Topps has been our go-to pizza takeaway place since we moved to the area 2 years ago. We must have ordered at least 15 times and I never expected such poor customer service as I experienced this time. My husband asked for our pizzas to be extra cooked. The special was well done on the top but the dough was completely raw inside, I’ve included a photo. The veggie pizza was supposedly well done too but you can see the difference in colour compared to the special. I could live with the veg pizza if the manager hadn’t jumped at his own defence telling me that this happens when it’s over cooked and there’s nothing they can do. Eventually just put the phone down completely confused listened to the manager’s excuses and that’s 2 pizzas gone to waste. No offer to remake our order or a refund. Completely unprofessional in my opinion and won’t be ordering from here again.

Stuck in traffic and Tops Pizza delivery driver completely cuts across traffic and lane and it was not a filter lane. Shocking! Especially as the drivers passenger thought it was hilarious. I am never using this company, if this is their ethos!!

First visit to Tops Pizza Watford. The food and service was great. I tried the Chicken Dippers and new Cauli Bites, both were really good and great value.

We have ordered pizza from here regularly through the years but the quality and the customer service has just gone down hill. To the orders being wrong and the staff taking no responsibility for it and leaving us with the wrong pizzas. Ridiculous! We ordered chicken tikka chicken for our topping and normally it's red when I called them they asked if it was red I said no they put me on hold for afew seconds said it's definitely chicken tikka and ended the call. Ordered online and it took 1 hour 25 mins to arrive. I called the shop 10 times until they answered the phone. They gave me excuses and promised the pizza is on its way which was a lie. When the pizza arrived it was barely warm. RIDICULOUS. I will never order again

Papa John’s St Albans Road, terrible service. Pizza always arrives at least 30 mins after showing on website as ready for delivery so it’s always cold. Have waited 35 mins today after the website showed it was ready and when they finally answered the phone they said there was a problem with their order software and with their driver system and couldn’t say when it would be delivered (don’t accept online orders for delivery then!), so we had to go pick it up.

Shocking service from this store, order wrong on arrival, but was sorted once called and reported. Within in this order we ordered oreo bites which had no oreo in whatsoever, we pulled these apart to try see exactly what was going on, again rang the store and reported again new item was dropped off, but demanded we give the old one's back, the the driver then proceeded to argue with me telling me we ate the inner contents, "saying this no good" "this is no good" accusing me of lying. An absolute abysmal service would not recommend

I have never had a worse experience from Papa Johns than today. My food took 90 minutes to arrive, it arrived cold, and the staff think it’s okay to lie to customers and put the phone down on them when they ask for a refund. I am flabbergasted that they make enough money to trade if this is how they treat their customers. The worst experience of my life and frankly makes me think Dominos would be better. 😱🤬

This store is very poor. Ordered a XL pizza and they sent me a large one. When I complained, they refused to change it cause I had open it… on a different order, seal came open and a piece is foil was on top of the pizza has it was a topping. VERY POOR SHOP! I have photos of all of this. This shop should get new management and quality control

Took my order and my money. No food delivered and unbelievably rude. I have a receipt and order number but when I eventually got through to the store after our dinner hasn’t arrived an hour in a half later the guy tells me to have a good night and it’s not his problem, speak to customer service - open mon-fri 9-5 - it is Saturday night. Then slams the phone down. Daylight robbery. If you want your order to arrive I suggest you look for somewhere with integrity.

DO NOT deserve even a Star - Papa Johns - St. Albans Road, Watford branch. One of the worse experience ever. Oder pizza on Friday evening online. After waiting for an hour app shows your Pizza been delivered but NO deliver received. Try to call branch over 20 times but one one bother answering calls. After almost 2 hours (110 minutes) later pizza arrive. When called brach was given excuse we are busy on order. Zero Customer Services, no time to listen to customer’s concerns and totally ignorant toward customers. Was promised manager will get in touch and full refund for the order in 2-3 working days. Heard nothing from anyone since week, so called again and spoke with Area Manager - Ms Wiktoria, unable to resolve issues, promised a lot but delivered nothing. Her excuse was she was on annual leave and no one there to response to complaints. It took her two weeks to refund full money and promised twice to call back but heard nothing back from her. On top ignored phone calls and emails. Highly unprofessional not only staff but also management team too. Diabolical rather acutely unprofessional bunch of team at Papa Johns Watford (St.Albans road).

I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, they just reopened from being Joe's to Frydays kitchen. I've been here three times and each time it's been a disappointment. The third time I had to complain because the chips came half cooked and the wings tasted tough and recooked. It turns out they had given me chicken which had been cooked two hours ago. They redid the chips but after that I just can't go back. Food is terrible, communication and service isn't the best. There are much better places to eat, if you can't even cook chips correctly or even give customers fresh chicken to eat how you going to keep customers?

I feel like this place has new Chefs because there has been a few positive changes! I ate in and everything was cooked to perfection and to order. Very happy with Hakan who has amazing customer service and goes above and beyond expectations! I ordered cod and chips :)

Horrible service, subpar food. Was spoken to rudely from the moment I walked in, I politely asked for salt all over my chips (not just on the top) was told I couldn't have that- have never been denied adequate salt from a chippy in my life! Food was dumped into my hands. I asked if I could please have some sauces (have always been offered in a kebab shop), told they were 30p each. I could clearly see the cheap stuff they put in squeezy bottles on the counter and asked if I could please have a bit of ketchup and mayo, clearly annoyed he told me I could have one sauce for free but if I wanted the mayo from a bottle too I would have to pay more. I told the server that the way he was treating me was ridiculous and he said he didn't make the rules and shrugged exclaiming it wasn't his shop. Sausage in batter was so soggy the batter fell away, chips were greasy, the ketchup plastered all over them was bright red and sickly sweet I ended up chucking most of it. Would rather spend my money somewhere else next time.

The food has greatly improved over the last 5-11 years and it is always busy with working and middle class customers going there a lot. Parking can be difficult as there is no CPZ in operation. All in all a fine Turkish Fish and chips shop for all.

Great fish. Every time I order Haddock and chips it is lovely. Really hot and fresh. Order by phone and have it ready in 15mins.

So when I came here yeah we got shegged with the prices and we had to pay £1 per person for service when the service was knacks. We then ordered a large portion of chips and the amount of chips that came was laughable, the chips weren’t even chips they were crisps, the Salt tasted like sodium chloride and I would rather eat molly-mae’s cooking. There was no coats on the coat hanger and the paint work might as well of been done by Edward scissor hands. Overall if you come here

Tried twice. Food was really nice. The only downside is cash only. Staff I met there was really nice and friendly too.

Staying in near by Premier Inn. Went for simple beef chow mien. Noodles were standard although a little on the dry side. Takeaway is cash only, highly disappointing its 2022 how do you not accept cards? There is a cashpoint outside next door but this charges for withdrawals.

Good place for takeaways. Food tasty and not expensive. Quality good for the price. Tom Yum soup slightly too sweet for my liking but overall tasty with seafood and mushrooms. Singapore rice very nice. Will order again!

This place for us is great value and nice tasting food, delivery is reliably too…. Crispy lamb I love, cheap alternative for the duck, it can be fatty but I love that, our 1/4 duck was huge and the standard noodles and beef in black bean were nice taste. Will use again a heart beat. Price isn’t too bad either but like everyone there going up.

Exacty as it should be for a local takeaway. Good honest food in good quantities at good prices. I was only in Watford a few days and sorry I didn't get to go back a second time. Fast service too. I had vegetable curry and egg fried rice and sure it's not the best cooking in the world but equally it's as good as it needs to be. Nothing wrong with it.

Been eating here for years! Me and my children love it! Generous portions. I get Singapore fried noodles and crispy chicken with salt and chilli nearly every time. So nice. Only Chinese I order from. Fast delivery and friendly service.

Worse staff with worse pizza. We ordered deep pan and they gave thin crust with burnt crust. When complained about it they said throw it away if you don't like. Abid is sick guy!!! Don't get fooled with them. Always check it before you collect as they are scammers!!!

You know what you’re getting with Pizza Go Go. It’s not high brow pizza but it is pretty tasty, it’s definitely filling, and it’s good value. I eat their pizza every month or so when I get together with friends for beer tastings. It should also be notes, they have a lot of interesting toppings available. Recommended as long as you understand what you’re ordering.

Very disappointed because I’ve been promised by a staff member that he left a note by their till that my next I’ll have a free or discounted pizza due to my last order a couple of weeks ago when I called to say something isn't right about the pizza I’ve ordered and couldn’t eat it. The staff member was nice and sort me out straight away by saying my next order will be free or discounted, then when I called right now, another staff member checked and said there is no note at all. I didn’t say much at all and feel disappointed of waisting £15 for a pizza I couldn’t eat at all and because they couldn’t find the note left by the till! But the confusing part is that the staff members are friendly (what can I say apart from I won’t be ordering from them anyone cuz it’s a matter of principles)

Been here couple of times. Food quality is low. Paid extra for lettuce but never got any extra lettuce. Staff is unfriendly and inattentive. Just hand over the food and rush away before checking if I need any sauce extra. No condiment table available. Boring and unwelcoming place.

The gents cubicle toilet was a mess and had no toilet paper. The disabled toilet wasn't functional either. I told a member of staff about both (and having nothing I could practically use)....and their answer was to leave 2 stacks of toilet paper by the wash basins in the gents. Not only that, but the gentleman I spoke to about it all wasn't at all apologetic, if anything he seemed annoyed that I was pointing out the state of their toilets. This store obviously doesn't value customer relations nor hygiene. I'll never eat here again.

Standard walk-in and drive through McDonald's. Plenty of parking when we arrived, used the drive through, very quick service and good food. Would recommend.

Used to be the Hertfordshire Arms pub when I was a kid. It took me over 25 years to get a decent burger there.

I pass here quite regularly. The services are populated by jovial continental lottery drivers in unusual footwear. McDonald's is the only place that's open until midnight. The food is, well, McDonald's. The atmosphere could be a lot better. Wiping the tables from time to time would be a start. The staff are always friendly, but seem a little overwhelmed at times. There's actually a cleaning cupboard above each tray return with a spray bottle and blue roll - DIY. You can survive it, and it's the best you'll get after 8pm.

Service was quick... The staff were very helpful. The tables were cleaned as soon as the other customers left. There is limited Parking available up to 90 mins.

Food turned up late. Driver rung but couldn’t listen to instructions to find my address. I then open up the bag to find this. Rang the restaurant and all he kept saying was next time….there won’t be a next time this is shocking.

Wife ordered from their website at 8pm, order was accepted. Two hours later no food has arrived, and their phone number goes to a strange voicemail that doesn't sound like a restaurant at all. Will now have to get her money back through the bank somehow, and we're currently starving. Not happy at all.

I ordered through their online service Grub24. Unfortunately it wasn’t the best service and the food was not great but I was assured I would get a refund when I spoke to the owner that evening. He said to call him tomorrow. I did and then told was told he spoke to Grub24 and they were processing the refund within 24hrs. This did not happen and when I called again I just keep getting told to call tomorrow. Grub24 do not respond to emails either. I said I would accept the bad food and service was just a one off and not put a negative review if I was refunded. Well, if I get my refund tomorrow, then I will do as I promised and modify this review. I do still do think Grub24 should be avoided at all costs. But let’s see if WatfordBBQ actually do honour their customers! He did eventually get back to me and refunded the money today.

We ordered on a Friday around 6pm our estimated time was 6:45 didn’t come till almost 8 I called numerous time the owner kept saying it’s 5 mins away didn’t even think once to call his driver! We was even happy to go to the shop and collect the food our self!! He was soo rude on the phone to me and put the phone down on me twice my husband then called and he was literally, screaming and shouting at my husband. Absolutely disgusting service Food was Stone cold he promised a refund gave us his personal number and when my husband messaged him to say we havnt Receive our refund apparently, he was in hospital and having operation it’s been 2 weeks now and still no refund! Kebab is my favorite fast food that I enjoy eating from time to time.I randomly came across this place the other day while passing through the street.The staff was very friendly and cheerful.I also appreciated that they gave me a discount on that drink.I really liked their doner kebab.I’ll definitely visit again when I’m around Watford
