Corvette Diner is a classic 1950s-style diner located in San Diego, known for its iconic decor, including vintage cars and neon lights. The waitresses dressed in poodle skirts provide entertainment by singing and engaging with the guests. Families have been frequenting this spot for over 25 years, making it a top family-friendly destination in the city.
My husband and I celebrated his birthday by enjoying a late lunch at this fun restaurant! I ordered the chicken parmesan dinner and my husband ordered the meatloaf dinner. The food was very good; the chicken parmesan was delicious, and I had leftovers to take home as well! The restaurant is decorated in a '50s style, complete with a DJ, a dance break performed by the waitresses, and fun decorated rooms, complete with an arcade in the back! Our server, Gloria, was fabulous and she had us cracking up. She brought out a scoop of ice cream with a candle in it and the waiters and waitresses sang a birthday song for my husband which was fun! We thought the prices were normal for the meals we received. If you are in the San Diego area, we highly recommend checking out Corvette diner, If nothing else just for the ambiance!

The Corvette Diner is definitely a fun place to visit, especially for families. The atmosphere is impressive and really well done – vibrant, nostalgic, and full of character. There are several themed rooms and even a large arcade area for kids, which makes it a great spot for a casual outing. The staff is friendly, though not particularly attentive. You might need to flag someone down if you need anything. As for the food, it’s just average – nothing bad, but also nothing to get excited about. All in all, it’s a Great place for the experience and the decor, but don’t go in expecting standout food or top-tier service.

We went there to celebrate our 1 year old baby first birthday. It was a long wait, I wish they asked us where we wanted to be seated because I wanted to be in the dark room with fluorescent lights. We didn't get little hats, I asked for them; the balloon guy passed us, he basically ignored us and my baby had a sticker that it was his birthday, I really did not like that. My burger did not have any seasoning (literally none, I suppose they forgot), my husband's did and my baby's spaghetti had way too many spices. Our milkshakes were fine, I dislike the big paper straws though. Manager was very friendly and our waitress Wanda wasn't as attentive as I would've liked but she did bring a little sundae and sang "Happy Birthday" to our child and I did appreciate it. I would unfortunately not be back.

Really cool 50's atmosphere. Corvette part of the atmosphere. Great service. Food good. I had the California Dream which was a great chicken sandwich with guacamole, green chilis; lettuce; tomato and onion. My daughter had the blast sandwich and her boyfriend had the DeeDee Burger with a root beer shake. The blast was bacon lettuce avocado Swiss cheese and turkey. I am originally from San Diego and this restaurant use to be in Central San Diego. This new location has more parking but I miss the coziness of the old location .We came to San Diego for a couple days to visit family and eat at some favorite restaurants.
Debra ( — Google review
We had a couple of burger. Both were good. All of the food is diner inspired food with a little extra twist. We weren’t able to get a dessert because we were full but I would go back so maybe next time. We arrived before 5 and it was pretty calm but by 5:30 it was getting busy and loud. Not someplace to have a quiet meal. More of a place to have fun and you definitely don’t have to worry about keeping your kids quiet. The arcade area looked like it should keep everybody occupied while waiting for food. Good place to take a large group as well. I saw some people getting seated with 10 or more.
Chris E — Google review
What's not to love? Monty our server was fantastic and funny. He was great with my hungry family by making us all laugh. In the arcade, Chris was awesome! He was so cool with the littles, showing patience and happiness to all the kids. This place was tons of fun, and comes highly recommended.

Food was ok. Nothing special. Service was a little slow because it was so busy. But the music was soooooo loud. So loud that you couldn't erally have a conversation. It was a fun place though. Oh. They will add 5% on all checks to help offset rising costs. They also add 20% on checks for party of 6 or more. By the way, they take pictures for you but you do have to pay for it at the end of your meal. This place is all about making money for themselves.
Grace L — Google review
A Taste of Nostalgia a.... Classic "Diner concept good for all ages. Nostalgic, vibrant & definitely fun. The menu delivers exactly what you expect: solid, reliable diner food. While the thick milkshakes looked absolutely divine & terribly tempting we all passed The base prices are decent, making it an affordable casual spot. However, diners should be aware of a few items on the final bill. Our large group (four adults, a baby, and a toddler) triggered an automatic 20% gratuity. Separately, there is also an optional 5% supplemental charge added to the bill, which you can ask to have removed if you note it with your server. Be sure to factor both into your budget for larger parties. Finally, a note on the ambiance: while the vibe is great, the music is quite loud (at times). If you are dining with anyone who processes sensory information differently, be mindful that the noise level could be overwhelming. It's a lively atmosphere, but the volume is something to consider before visiting.

Located in San Diego's Liberty Station, Liberty Public Market is a lively food hall housed in a former Navy building. The market offers an array of casual outdoor seating and a wide variety of food and beverages from specialty vendors, eateries, and bars. Visitors can enjoy diverse culinary experiences such as lechon served with garlic rice and atchara or splayed over chicken liver sarsa with stone fruit and micro sorrel. Families will find kid-friendly options like Mini Donut Co.
GREAT FIND :))) we ended up coming back the next night for dinner. So many food options and cute shops. We especially liked the food and service from Cecilia’s taqueria. There’s also plenty of free parking in a lot across the street. I’d definitely recommend coming here when in San Diego

When I was planning our quick trip to San Diego I just knew we had to check out Liberty Public Market and I am so glad we did! It was very cool and interesting. There were tons of options for food and drinks and lots of adorable little shops. Located right near the water with a walking path so you can enjoy the sunset after everyone chooses basically anything they could possibly want in just one location! It was really colorful, casual with tons of authentic and unique options for food and drinks. A must go spot in San Diego!!!

This place is awesome! So much variety and everything we have tried has been awesome. Such a cool spot to hang out and grab a bite to eat. We will definitely to continue to come back every time we vacation this way.

If you haven't visited this place in San Diego yet, you must find time to come and have a look. Liberty Station is a comprehensive area that combines history, culture and modern vitality. It was formerly the Naval Training Center San Diego established in the 1920s and was transformed into a cultural landmark integrating art, dining, shopping and leisure in the 2000s. It's like a huge open-air mall and also has a large grassy park. It's a great choice to have a picnic, relax, take photos, play with kids or go on a date here! There are over 20 local food vendors in San Diego. Food recommendations: Wicked Maine Lobster's fresh lobster rolls and lobster mac and cheese. Stuffed is a former food truck brand famous for its spicy Mac n' Cheese burger. Bottle Craft offers 24 local craft beers, echoing San Diego's title as the "Craft Beer Capital". Venissimo Cheese is also here. Besides food, there are flower shops, handicraft stores, and fresh produce stands. Visitors are allowed to bring their own alcohol and enjoy it freely indoors and outdoors. The outdoor dining area is decorated with small light bulbs and there are live music performances every Sunday.

What a great location to try a variety of different food options and drinks. They truly have something for everyone here and was a treat to find and explore. I would recommend bringing your appetite because if you are like me you’ll want to try a little of everything. We visited on a weekday around lunchtime and it wasn’t overly crowded. There was plenty of parking available on the street and in surrounding parking lots. Just be mindful of signage so you don’t end up parking somewhere you shouldn’t and be patient with the traffic flow in and out of the area.
Justin T — Google review
🏫Liberty Public Market is a really special area. I read that it was used by the military many years ago. It is a beautiful building with over 3 dozen restaurants or shops. ⌚Open daily from 11am-7pm 🚘🌳🌳When you first drive onto the grounds, you feel like you are headed to a hidden resort. 🅿️You just keep following the little streets to the parking areas. Make sure that you read the signs for parking. There are MANY little restaurants and stores nestled into the main building and it can get REALLY BUSY during weekends and peak hours. ⌛Parking is free, but there are some parking areas that limit you to an hour to run in and get something to-go or pick-up and order. 👉There is also a larger parking area around the main building where you can park for as long as you would like to explore the grounds without the fear of a citation or possibly getting towed. 😃You could walk around for over an hour just deciding where you want to eat. There are sweets, coffees, foods, and wines from around the world, and local craft beer makers. We didn't have any young children with us, but it seemed family friendly. 🚸 😊Lots of benches and tables to sit outside and around the main building to enjoy a snack, beverage, or an ice cream.🧁🥤🍦 We enjoyed our visit to this area. ⚠️WARNING: If you have children that frighten easily with loud noises or you are planning a romantic evening where you want to whisper sweet-nothings to your date, let me warn you, VERY LOUD PLANES fly overhead continuously.✈️😱✈️😂🤣

Liberty Public Market is a nice place to stop by if you're looking for a bite in San Diego. There's a wide variety of food vendors, and many of them offer really delicious options. One spot I highly recommend is Bao Bar, flavorful baos with a generous portion size that really hit the spot! The overall vibe is fun and welcoming, with lots of good people around. Bonus points for free parking, which makes it even more convenient. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Lots of groomed manicured outdoor space, indoor/outdoor dining and everything you can think of to explore from bars, restaurants, shops, quick eats, path by the water, great for running or skating, dog walking. Also well lit and safe at night (check the pumpkin patch, seasonally, at night).

Italian restaurant
Solare Ristorante is an elegant Italian eatery located in a chic and cozy setting within a Spanish Revival building. The restaurant offers multiple dining options, including outdoor patios, an inviting lounge, and a spacious dining room. Executive chef Filippo Piccini prepares fresh pasta daily, along with pizza, antipasti, and traditional Tuscan entrees.
I enjoyed my dinner here. The menu selection was diverse and offered plenty of enticing options. The food was delicious, and each dish seemed thoughtfully prepared. Their wine selection is impressive.
Sueki L — Google review
Solare is a great looking restaurant on the inside and it had an extensive menu. We were greeted nicely and had a great server, friendly and helpful. Great wine advice. The bass was excellent, fresh and most, nice sauce. The fetticcini...ok...I think it might have been... something... excellent, fresh pasta, but something off with the shrimp... very good caesar's salad. We will give it another go!
Eugene E — Google review
My partner and I visited this restaurant a few weekends ago and had an amazing time. The fettuccini and pistachio crème brûlée were both incredible. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were out of this world. Our waitress was incredibly polite and friendly, and we had a wonderful conversation with our lovely waitress & the Restaurant owner himself! We are excited to come back to try the wine experience!
Heavenly L — Google review
I recently visited this Italian restaurant located in Liberty Station, and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The atmosphere felt cozy yet stylish, and it was a great spot to enjoy a relaxed dinner. One of the highlights here is definitely the wine selection. They offer a wide range of options, and it felt like the kind of place where you could spend extra time pairing your meal with the perfect glass. For food, I ordered the scallops risotto, which turned out to be really delicious. The scallops were large, fresh, and cooked just right, which added so much flavor and texture to the creamy risotto. I am usually not a fan of truffle, and the dish did include a touch of it, but aside from that detail, I truly enjoyed the flavors and would recommend it. I also tried the squash soup, which was smooth, flavorful, and comforting without being too heavy. For dessert, I went with a peach option, and it was a refreshing way to finish the meal. Sweet but light, it didn’t overwhelm after a rich dinner. Overall, this restaurant is a great choice in Liberty Station, especially if you appreciate good wine and Italian dishes.

I came here with a group of friends last minute and it was a fantastic decision. The place is the perfect mix of great food, atmosphere, and service. Additionally, the parking here is so convenient and easy. We had a great time and I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

I had the Risotto Tartufo e Capesante, and wow—it was absolutely incredible. Hands down the best meal I’ve had in San Diego. My husband and I went for lunch and were seated right away with no wait. The hostess and our server were both amazing—so welcoming and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. The vibe of the restaurant is relaxed yet elevated, and we loved every minute of it. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
Hannah M — Google review
My girlfriend and I booked the “chef’s table” experience which seats you in your own personal spot looking at the kitchen as they make the food with a preset six course menu. Everything about the experience was incredible! Each course was delicious, the service was top notch and it was so nice to meet the head chef, Denise. The owner, Randy and his son, Tommy, came over and said hello which was very nice as well. We had such a great experience last night and would recommended this restaurant to anyone! We will definitely be back.

Impeccable and vegetarian friendly. I feel lucky to have stumbled onto this place. Everything was perfect down to the rosemary infused bread. Delicious. They also have a very wide selection of wine by the glass and bottle. In fact their interior walls and wine room are lined with boutique bottles.

Restaurant
Luna Grill Liberty Station is a casual Mediterranean eatery offering a variety of fresh and flavorful dishes like Garlic Bonfire Shrimp and Chicken Kabob Plate. The restaurant provides a cozy and comfortable dining experience, with friendly service and attention to detail. Customers praise the delicious Apple Walnut Salad with chicken and the Santorini bowl with falafel, as well as the stuffed grape leaves.
My first experience with Luna Grill was from a catered event at my job and let me tell you!! Everything was so fresh, grilled veggies and chicken seasoned to perfection, the salad, couscous, rice went so well with the chicken. And the hummus.....so flavorful that I took home enough to last for a few meals!! I want to eat Luna Grill EVERY DAY! Saul and Dulce at the Liberty Station site are so friendly and enthusiastic about their menu and offered the best options for a newbie like me. It's obvious that they enjoy what they do and are invested in Luna 's healthy eating mission. Kudos Luna Grill.

Apple Walnut Salad w/ chicken was delicious! Gets busy at this location, but service doesn’t take long at all. Clean, light atmosphere w/ tasty, healthy food. Sebastian was a great associate who took my order, delivered my food to me outside, & personally checked in at the end of my meal if I needed any to go boxes. Great attention to detail on Sebastian’s part & very kind. *Photo of meal was taken after I had devoured most of it already. Normally a large portioned salad.

Argentinian restaurant
Restaurant
Paraná Empanadas, located in the heart of Liberty Public Market and also at Westfield UTC, is a popular spot known for its fluffy, baked empanadas filled with a variety of ingredients. The menu features a fusion of flavors from different cultures, offering options like the Italian-influenced Margherita and the Mexican-influenced Chicken Chipotle. The empanadas are praised for their perfect pastry and high-quality fillings. Customers also rave about the flavorful signature sauces available.
Alfajores Dessert It is absolutely fabulous. I just got it to try it out. I saw it while I was walking around then I didn’t think about it went to my car in the parking lot, which is far away the moment I tried I had to come back to the place just to tell them how delicious it is. Thank you so much. It is absolutely made my day. Oh man so good.
Hüseyin G — Google review
Yum! I loved the BEEF and the MUSHROOM Empanadas! The crust was delicious and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The sauces are wonderful too. The white one was my favorite. I cannot wait to try every empanada on the menu!
Dawn — Google review
I came here two times in one evening because their empanadas are so fire! Things you should know: I. PARKING Within liberty station, so there's various, free parking lots surrounding the building. II. SERVICE Timely III. QUALITY I wish I had bought a jar of their signature sauce before I left San Diego because wow.. so much flavor! Our favorite Empanada was the Malbec Beef! Had to get more than one. IV. CAPACITY There wasn't much of a line the two times we came on a Sunday afternoon. Probably because they're so efficient.
Chelsea C — Google review
Empanadas are a bit blonde and some of them are really skimpy on the filling. Got a shrimp one and it was half empty. The spicy beef was the best one I got. Chicken was a little dry.
Thao H — Google review
Good casual spot to get a delicious empanada for a good price. It is juicy and very well baked. It is also very well seasoned, specially the Malbec beef and super recomend it. I ordered the combo of 3 and picked one chicken, one malbec beef and one spinach with feta. Chicken was the one I liked less. Good service, the attendent was kind and efficient. Don't miss the opportunity to get empanadas during your visit in market.
Catharine P — Google review
The worst empanadas in my whole life. I felt ashamed of sharing these empanadas with friends. The filling needed more flavor and it was too mushy. I'm from Argentina and we are very proud of our culture and our food. So I was excited to have a great time but unfortunately it didn't happen.
Jorge M — Google review
Delicious empanadas and a great spot for a quick bite! I tried the Malbec Beef empanada, which was flavorful on its own, but was really kicked up a notch by the chimichurri sauce. With over a dozen fillings and three sauces, there are endless possibilities! The food court itself can get very crowded, but there is lovely outdoor seating available.

These are such delicious empanadas! They were baked perfectly; not too dry. I tried the Beef and the Mushroom and they were both heavenly. There was so much flavor to them. I can’t wait to try every single other kind because they all sound so good! The price is great, and it is such a quick, easy meal because they’re already cooked and kept hot so there’s no wait time. I will be back very soon!

Restaurant
The Presley is a laid-back outdoor restaurant located in Liberty Station, San Diego. The spacious 2,100 square feet outdoor dining area is adorned with cozy nooks, swings, and twinkling lights. Executive chef Todd Nash presents a menu featuring classic dishes such as cilantro-lime grilled Shrimp Lettuce Wraps, Bacon and Shrimp Tacos, and Horseradish Crusted Salmon alongside flatbreads, sandwiches, and salads.
My wife and I were looking for a nice place to eat on a Saturday late afternoon recently and found The Presley in the Liberty Station area. We requested outdoor dinning as we always do and were promptly seated without a reservation. Our server came to our table quickly to take our drink order. Minutes later she came back with our drinks and took our main order of a Flank Steak for me and a Chicken salad for my wife. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Prices are a little bit high but you know what? Everything is expensive right now. We will definitely come back when in the area.

We stopped in for an early dinner and we loved the outdoor seating; the vibe was relaxing. We’re in Liberty Station every week and we hear planes passing through all the time; usually we don’t notice them, but when you are sitting for a meal and trying to have a conversation, those planes are damn loud. It didn’t ruin anything for us, but it may be unpleasant for unsuspecting diners. The service was fantastic. Our waiter was super friendly and a good conversationalist. He was also attentive and efficient. We ordered their fish and chips, wood fired flat top burger, kids chicken tenders and Parker house rolls. The rolls were airy, buttery and salty. It was a good start to our meal. The spicy remoulade for the fish was amazing, but the fish and the batter were bland. The burger was juicy and well cooked, but under seasoned. The fries however, were crispy and delicious. The chicken tenders were cooked well, but again, bland. For dessert, we ordered their roast your own s’mores. The dessert was a fun activity for the family. They were generous with the servings as well. For my drink, I ordered their chai vanilla old fashioned and let me tell you, it was the best old fashioned I’ve ever had. The whiskey was smooth and the chai vanilla rendered a slightly sweet after taste. Overall, the entrees left us disappointed, but the meal had positive highlights. We paid $193.16 with tip.

The Presley is located in Liberty Station which offers cozy outdoor ambiance. We have been coming here to have brunch after our annual pumpkin patch visit across the street. We never needed to have advanced reservations to eat here (other restaurants nearby require an hour or so of wait time) as this place is large and can sit a big group with minimal wait time. Restaurant has a limited menu and slightly on the pricey side. The Presley has a great outdoor patio/seating overlooking other shops and terraces in Liberty Station to have a small meal to chit chat with family/friends on a nice sunny day. They are also dog friendly and even brought out a bowl of water for our puppy. However, food at best is average and nothing stands out or above average. We were disappointed with the food quality and lack of skills to execute even a simple egg Benedict dish due to the butter heavy handed Hollandaise sauce and the egg whites were underdone and runny. Not sure how the kitchen staff could messed up a simple classic dish. The clam chowder soup came out lukewarm but did have a fair amount of clams. Coffee was lukewarm again and not hot. Our main entrees came out almost 30 minutes after the appetizers were served without any explanation or communication from the waitstaff. The seared Ahi tuna was not seared well and possibly not fresh as the person who ate the ahi tuna salad got stomachache in the evening. Overall, the location is convenient but the food is mediocre.

I chose to dine here for their variety of egg benedict options & left disappointed in our experience overall. We were greeted by a host who seemed overwhelmed (granted the restaurant was packed). She didn’t leave the best first impression but we moved forward and wanted to give this place a fair chance. I was excited for the bloody mary after looking at other reviews. It was tasty but missing the bacon (something their menu specifically states is included). We asked our server if she could bring it out & she kindly did which I appreciated! All 3 of us ordered the steak & eggs benedict. After waiting 45 mins for our food, I slice into my first egg to discover it wasn’t over-easy or even over-medium, but over-hard. I was shocked. Five of six eggs served to us were cooked over-hard, something that is unacceptable when paying $22+ per plate. The steak was tender & flavorful, but honestly, with no runny egg yolk, the benedict was a flop. Our server admitted that it was unacceptable & brought another egg out (in replacement for my hard boiled egg), which was cooked correctly. On the other hand, the potatoes were crispy & very tasty. I understand that when a restaurant is busy & the kitchen is behind, that meals can be delayed and service may be slow. I don’t find it acceptable to serve over cooked food. Additionally, the place seemed to be run by all young adults, who, quite frankly, could have better attitudes. We went from being excited to try this place, to laughing at how ridiculous our experience was by the end of our meal.

The food at Presley is just as classy as the atmosphere! The place is very tastefully decorated in a very relaxed and comfortable way, making for a very chill and easy experience. The hostess was super friendly and welcoming offering us several different seating options. We opted for a high top tucked back a bit in the shade. Our server was just as friendly and inviting, making us feel even more welcome. The food was amazing, absolutely amazing! We started with the lobster sliders which were delightful! Seriously, almost anything on Hawaiian rolls is delightful, they were no exception! I got the grilled turkey wrap and hubby got the seared ahi. Both meals were cooked perfect and presented very beautifully. The wrap of the sandwich was still warm from being grilled! The honey mustard sauce was perfectly subtle and the steak fries were hot and fresh. Hubby's tuna was seared to perfection and the tuna was melt in your mouth delicious! I know I used the word perfect a bit too much but when everything lines up between atmosphere, service, food and drinks there's no other word to use!! I highly recommend The Presley and will definitely be back!

Very nice spot in Liberty Station! I heard this place for a while and finally got a chance to try it out. The outdoor patio is very lovely and cozy. We are a group of people and we ordered different food items. They all look delicious. I ordered a classic egg Benedict which is very yummy, the poached egg is cooked beautifully. The hollandaise sauce tastes very nice, I enjoyed my dish a lot. We orders bottle mimosas and Bloody Mary, both are good. I will recommend here for sure.
LULU A — Google review
Good food and good service. The one reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is because they forgot part of my friend's meal order. However, they were really apologetic about it. Other than that this place is great! Their bathrooms are amazing and they have a meal option for almost everyone! And they have fantastic cocktails! Would definitely come here again. It's also right next to the markets at liberty station so it's an excellent location for a birthday/date plan.

Comfortable and cute outdoor seating and efficient service with pretty drinks and nice brunch menu. The avocado toast was alright but I'm a fan of the Coco Baja drink. Not 5 stars because I was standing at the host stand for a few minutes before being seated - and I had a reservation.

Dirty Birds Liberty Station is a popular spot known for its wide variety of wing flavors, including options like lemon pepper, salt & vinegar, garlic parm, Hawaiian, and more. The restaurant slow-bakes their wings before flash-frying them to perfection, resulting in juicy and tender meat. Located on Nobel Drive in a bustling area filled with dining and shopping options, Dirty Birds stands out as a place that never seems to get too crowded.
Oh maaaan this experience was awesome. Most definitely recommend this restaurant is not only for the great food but also the service thanks to Sky. Checkout my YouTube channel @ Steven Reactz. And thanks to Sky we almost moved to San Diego. Plenty of parking and it’s free and they do offer a military discount. We will definitely be back and y’all should definitely come and visit. All I can say is wow.

We visited on a late Saturday afternoon with a party of three. We didn't have to wait long to be seated, and the food came out about 25 mins later. Customer service was good. Great location in a nice area to go for long walks.

Wednesday night. Dodgers Padres game night. Tons of TVs and tons of patrons. Was told a 45 minute wait, and checked several times as it got closer and closer to the 45 min mark. We checked at 45 and hostess said she told us 55 minutes. Why would we lie to ourselves? One of only a few minor reasons I gave it four stars instead of five. Yes. Could she have mixed us up with someone else, yes. Just seemed odd. And silly. And after waiting 45, rude and not accountable. Just say it’s gonna be a little longer. Atmosphere was lovely as any 74 degree beautiful weather night should be in San Diego with all the games on. Server was friendly. Most memorable? Onion rings. Great. Would go again just for those. Wings were good. Super large and tons of flavors to try. Ranch was above average. None of the wings flavors we got screamed at me to love them but they were good enough to be curious about coming back to try others. The auctioning off of food at the table was overkill at one point and then realized maybe an extra order had been put on our tab but either way, just stood out…and had some delays in getting our full entree order out at the same time.
Genevieve W — Google review
Good burgers, and the young lady who served us was professional, BUT… …they hit you with a 4% service charge. Yes, by patronizing Dirty Birds you will give them an extra 4% of your hard-earned money in exchange for NO goods or services. The service charge notice wasn’t conspicuous. It might be on the menu but I’d bet it’s at the very bottom in .0001 size font. Why be sneaky? Why are they scared to raise their prices instead of resorting to a service charge? If I had seen the notice I wouldn’t have dined here.
Frank B — Google review
Got a honey mustard salad and some of my coworkers got tater tots and wings. Buy 1 get 1 50% off wings comes out to be barely 20% off and is hence not even a deal. Food was the definition of mid, and pretty expensive. And on top of that they do a 4% surcharge for whatever reason and automatic 20% gratuity for 6 or more people when the server was rude, took forever to tend to us and get the food and barely deserving of a 15% tip. Definitely do not recommend this place, there’s many much better spots here at Liberty station
C S — Google review
Busters. I sat at the bar today. June 8th, 7pm. I got 10 wings, but I ordered them by 5 and 5 differentflavors. But instead of giving me the 10 piece price he, he charged me more money by charging me the 5 piece price. Then, a 1 dollar charge for ranch. Smh. Whatever. Wings came out suspiciously fast. I usually vouch for Dirty Birds, but this is the 3rd time I have had a bad experience. Hopefully, it's just this location. Other than that, dirty birds bout to lose their good reputation if they haven't done so already.
Bree W — Google review
The food is amazing, but the service was terrible. Since i first came in to get settled for a table the hostess that attended my family gave us a terrible look at us and told us that we have to wait 30 minutes and we asked if we could sit somewhere or at the bar meanwhile and she said no with a terrible attitude. we waited outside sitting in the bar and went to kick us out saying that underage teens can’t sit there. Finally when they gave us our table and they wanted us to sit outside when we wanted to sit inside, at the end they gave us a table outside and the hostess always had a dirty look at us while we saw she treated other clients differently. Also the restaurant was empty aswell as all the tables and still made us wait around 20-30 mins. I am not assuming anything but I wouldn’t discard the idea and issue that we were not treated with respect that everyone deserves as a Mexican family. There was also very heavy tension.
RAYMARQUEZ M — Google review
Got seated pretty quickly but sat there for a long time before someone came to take our order. Wings came out really dry as if it was reheated and also left on the table for a while before being brought out to us. I ate 2 pieces and left the rest. Server was nice, it was later in the afternoon so maybe just tired or understaffed. I don't blame her but that was just our experience that late afternoon

Peruvian restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant Liberty Station, The Latin Chef offers a delightful culinary journey through the rich flavors of Latin America, particularly focusing on authentic Peruvian cuisine. During my visit, I savored the Tallarin Saltado de Res and Tallarin Saltado de Pollo—both dishes bursting with traditional taste. The ceviche here is truly exceptional; it stands out as one of the best I've encountered across various cities like Orlando and Miami.
Tried the Tallarin Saltado Seafood and the dish was good. The seafood was fresh with lots of shrimp, octopus, calamari, and mussels/clams.

Our firm decided to do catering last minute and when I called the restaurant, they gave me the number to the manager. I spoke with Jeannette the manager and she was so accommodating for our request! We had a budget and she recommended items that fits our budget. The food was so delicious and the team was very happy! The service was also excellent considering we requested on a short notice. Will definitely order from Latin Chef again and recommend everyone to try this place out in Liberty Station.

Unfortunately today's lunch wasn't up to par. The steak was bland/overcooked with too much hard fat and my fried plantains were still raw inside. A total rip off for $23, I wish they would have returned my money ☹️. I had been there in the past with pleasant experiences though.

Authentic Peruvian food. I was little disappointed because I wanted try the fried sweet plantains and JALEA, both were unavailable and with limited options I had to choose seafood saltado, which was good. I will definitely visit again to try what I missed. The food was ready in 15 mins. There are few tables right next to the food counter and there are plenty around the marketplace.

I grew up in a Peruvian household and this food hit all the marks - Exploding with taste, nice texture, and great portions. Highly recommend!

Medium quality and over priced. I was excited to try this place and the people are nice, but the food is overpriced and the quality is mediocre. I got take out, and I told him that I didn’t want fried rice. I thought I had picked a chicken dish with white rice. When I got home it was the fried rice. Which was way over priced for $18. I got my husband, their popular Loma steak dish, and he didn’t even want to eat it. The french fries for mushy, which I don’t even know why you put french fries in this dish to begin with. There’s a lot of great places at liberty station in Market. don’t go to this restaurant.

I usually go around the US trying new foods to surprise my taste. Today I came across this Peruvian restaurant, first the girl that took my order was a bit rude in my opinion plus not really helping me with the menu. I have to say food was out fast but was not even worth it, food warm but tasted like it has just been microwaved. I got a lomo saltado, got Walmart fries, hard chewy meat, and hard rice on top of that it was missing salt. Also got anticuchos which I think were okay. I have had great Peruvian food, this is not one of them. Chicha morada seemed to not even have sugar. Very disappointed wasted 70 bucks

Restaurant
Hawaiian Fresh Seafood Liberty Station in San Diego, California is a go-to spot for delicious poke and fresh seafood. The Spam musubi offers a perfect blend of sweet and salty flavors, while the poke plate with three scoops of fish served with rice or salad is a must-try. The Shoyu Ahi stands out for its exceptional quality, ideal for creating homemade culinary delights like poke bowls and hand rolls.
A delicious poke spot. The poke is simple as you only pick whether you want rice or greens (you can’t do both) and the fish you want. The fish is marinated in seasonings and also flown in from Hawaii. They’re huge chunks that are complemented by the warm grains of rice. The line was long when we arrived on a Sunday around 7:30pm but it moved fairly quickly. You order and pay at the counter and then sit down. Plenty of outdoor seating along with space for kids to play. There is a large free parking lot. Credit cards accepted.

Generous scoop size. Garlic Salmon was good but the seasoning for the Kilauea Ahi tasted very odd. It's supposed to be spicy but it just tasted like red pepper flakes with a hint of sourness.
K M — Google review
Fish was cut very choppy and chewy. It was practically inedible which is a shame. I really liked the flavors of the poke but the way the fish was handled was careless today.
Phoenix H — Google review
here’s the before and after of what we ate and we both started starving. it was not very good, the flavors aren’t good, the fish is squishy, and the sauce is weirdly gelatinous. we’ve never had a bad poke bowl until today. their drink machine was out of all the diet options as well. staff was super friendly and nice but these bowls were just not good. we spent 40 bucks for two bad bowls and a soft drink cup full of water.
Casey ( — Google review
This was the best poke I’ve ever had. The scoops were huge & we happened to come during happy hour from 3-5. The firecracker salmon & spicy ahi were amazing!!
Jasmine A — Google review
Great poke, 3 varieties each of Ahi and Salmon when I visited and tried 4 of them and all were solid. Love the dice sizes of their fish. One of the better poke places I've been to, including on several trips to Hawaii. Would recommend.
Bhanu N — Google review
The poke here is insane. "Dan" with the one star review doesn't know what he's eating to claim the fish is slimy. Then again, most of the people complaining about this place and they don't understand what authentic poke is so they can go get their poke salad bowls from Venice beach instead. Service was top notch. Great staff and quick help. I ordered a plate with shoyu tuna, garlic salmon, and the Kilauea salmon for about $20 and they LOAD up the plate with poke. The Kilauea salmon has a good kick! The garlic salmon is so garlicky good and delicious, you can't get salmon better than this. And that shoyu tuna? oh baby. HFS knows what they're doing and they kill the game every time

Paellas Toñico is a charming eatery steeped in history, known for its dignified paella that truly satisfies. The generous portions ensure you leave feeling full and content, all at a reasonable price. Guests rave about the friendly and attentive staff, with some even speaking English to accommodate visitors. Adding to the ambiance is a talented musician who enhances your dining experience. While the food shines—especially their delicious Spanish tortilla—the venue could benefit from some renovations to elevate its appeal further.

I was on the hunt for a good lunch in Liberty station and gave this place a try. I am glad I did because it was exactly what I was looking for, a great sandwich! with a good portion size. We came here from TikTok and were worried it was overhyped! Let me tell you, it definitely wasn’t. We split the mortadella/burrata and prosciutto/mozzarella, and both of them were delicious. First of all, I’m very picky about my sandwich meats, and you could tell both the mortadella and prosciutto were actually imported and were fantastic quality. I also really enjoyed the spreads on both of them as well as the focaccia. Fantastic texture, taste, and quality. The side salad was delicious also!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bistro Europa – Point Loma’s Hidden Gem! Bistro Europa is an absolute treasure in Point Loma! Their sandwiches are on another level—made with the freshest ingredients, specialty meats, and perfectly baked breads that make every bite unforgettable. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into their food. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of a lively area with shops, energy, and beautiful views of the bay. It’s the perfect spot to grab a meal and soak in the Point Loma atmosphere. What really sets Bistro Europa apart, though, are the owners. I had the chance to meet them, and they are genuinely wonderful people—friendly, welcoming, and passionate about their craft. Hearing their story and their vision, including the catering options they provide, made me love this place even more. If you’re in San Diego, do yourself a favor and stop by Bistro Europa. Delicious food, amazing people, and great environment.
