I particularly appreciated the taste and presentation. The hotel's location is also a significant advantage, being close to the IT park and within walking distance of the cinema theatre. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay at The Lalit. The room sizes are big and amenities are plenty. Thanks to Komal, Sreejan and Aprila for a quick and friendly check-in and check-out experience.

Sorry to say but I am disappointed, every room was foul smelling like seepage or low maintenance, I had to swap room but it was no better. For such a prestigious hotel I didn't expect things like that. What I understood was that small was due to over done wooden work in side and outside the rooms caused seepage smell during monsoon season. So dehumidifier should be installed in the building and also better ventilation system can be helpful.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Lalit. Overall, it was an okay hotel for the price—everything was clean, including the bathrooms, which I appreciated. However, a few things really disappointed me. First, the hallway smelled awful, which left a bad impression right away. Second, the breakfast buffet was poorly managed. Their buffet is supposed to start at 7( as we were told by the front desk), but when we went down at 7:15 (as we had a flight to catch to Mumbai), the setup was still incomplete. No fresh food was prepared except the bread and cereals. In India, chai is a must-have in the morning, but the hot beverage counter wasn’t even open yet. When I asked the staff member about the parathas, he simply replied, “No, not yet,” without making any effort to get the station ready. our taxi was already waiting outside. We didn’t have much time to wait around for them to finally prepare breakfast, which made the situation even more frustrating. I feel the staff should be much more punctual and considerate, especially for guests traveling early. This lack of readiness was a letdown after an otherwise decent stay.

The quality of food definitely matched the reputation of a luxury brand like Hyatt. The staff at the venue was extremely courteous and attentive. Modern sophisticated interiors. Rooms are equipped with large windows for good views. Bathroom was neat & clean with premium bath stuff & a bathtub. Friendly cooperative staff. Swimming pool was well maintained. They prepared Jain food for us. Breakfast spread had several options with good taste.

We had a great conference at the Grand Hyatt. The food was brilliant and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is well appointed and a great standard. A 2 minute walk to Elante mall which is a fantastic mall.

Rooms are fantastic — clean, modern, and up to Western standards. Location and building are great. But the restaurant? A complete let-down. Staff on phones while cooking, no hand washing, bread baskets reused between tables — absolutely unhygienic. Service was abrupt and impersonal, with waiters hovering for tips instead of actually caring. Hyatt Amritsar puts this to shame — warm, friendly, and genuinely going out of their way for guests. Chandigarh felt cold and transactional. Only saving grace: the door staff, who were exceptional, and Harsh in the restaurant (both of them!) who were brilliant. Ricki in the restaurant was great too! The rest of the restaurant team needs serious retraining.

My previous stay in Taj Palace, Delhi and F&B at Taj Mahal, Delhi, Taj Bengal, Kolkata, Taj Krishna, Taj Deccan, Hyderabad raised my overall expectations! The Staffs are very good, attentive and professional with excellent customer services. We asked 2 bottles of water but the staff would provide more! My stay was upgraded 1 step but not the Club one, I was more interested into which. Dnt know my Epicure Privilaged upgrade voucher not applicable. Anyway thanks for the gesture. Special Thanks to Mr Passi for making our stay great and for everything for the fantastic surprise for our anniversary!I feel Rooms require renovation (which is long pending since COVID). Some foods require improvement in preparation. Ms Leena & Mr Vivek doing great job. Cafe 17 is just fine. The Lunch menu is very compact & limited, that pinched me. But the Manager, chief Chef Mr Manoj and other staffs tried their best. We certainly missed the DERA, will do next time.1st time faced issue with AMEX gift vouchers when they didnt considered my Members Rate bookings

The hotel view and everything was very beautiful and clean. The staff were very polite and behaved well. The sitting area and decoration were also very nice and clean. However, the service was a little slow, and it took time to place orders and receive the bill. It is located in the main sector of Chandigarh, so you can easily go anywhere and enjoy the heart of the city, Sector 17.

We had a good overall stay. The ambience is very warm, reception and the help staff is very courteous, no doubt - other than the valets. The valets do rough handling of the cars, they need to be more trained and be a bit more humble. Now the hotel needs to work on - the parking experiences, and the welcome experiences - they need to provide a room tour + property tour as well.

I had a fairly short stay in a Deluxe room(free upgrade provided) so my experience is from bits what I could experience. Has overnight stay with dinner and breakfast. The ambience in the common areas are exceptional. The services is top notch. There is much to be desired in terms of in room experience and breakfast. Great taste at Dera restaurant where I had butter chicken and khulche in dinner. Rooms were dimly lit and breakfast taste was average

I recently stayed at this Lemon Tree property and had a mixed experience. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable — definitely up to the brand's usual standards. The housekeeping team deserves appreciation for their efficiency and prompt service throughout the stay. However, I was quite underwhelmed by the breakfast buffet — it was average at best, both in variety and taste. More importantly, the service at the restaurant was not up to par. The staff seemed inattentive and not as hospitable as one would expect from a reputed hotel chain like Lemon Tree. My biggest disappointment was with the front desk and check-in experience. The staff lacked the warmth and professionalism I’ve experienced at other Lemon Tree hotels in different cities. It felt impersonal and not as welcoming as I had hoped. Overall, while the room and housekeeping team met expectations, the rest of the service — especially the front desk and restaurant staff — left much to be desired. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the guest service quality to align with the brand’s otherwise reliable reputation.

This is located very close to the Chandigarh railway station, but away from the main Chandigarh city. Lobby is located on the 1st floor. Underground parking, pool, spa, fitness centre are available. Rooms are good as per the price point. Inroom dining was exceptional good, had tried both Indian and Chinese options. The buffet breakfast is not very extensive but food quality & taste is good. It can hectic during morning check out if the hotel is busy, which it usually is. Overall a good place for stay.

Location near Elante is perfect. Rest all is just ok ok, or May be expectations were high from a known brand.Buffet Breakfast as well as dinner was ok taste, but have limited options and just normal things and taste. I recently stayed at lemon tree Chandigarh for a nights, and my experience was average. The hotel's location was convenient, but the staff were un polite and rude mainly front desk person Mr Naveen.. we faced problem during booking also, there was no confirmation on early checkin. The process is not transparent. The room was clean, but it could have been more spacious. The breakfast buffet was good, but not many variety of options. However, the Wi-Fi connection was slow, and the room's air conditioning could have been better. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but there were some areas for improvement. Stayed one night at Lemon Tree, Chandigarh (near Elante Mall), and the experience wasn’t great. There was no one to guide us at the entrance except the guard, and it wasn’t clear where the reception was — we had to figure out it’s on the “L” floor in the lift. No help with bags either. The reception area felt uncomfortable with a group of drunk boys hanging around, at 10PM. Our room wasn’t clean — dusty floor, bedsheets and comforter didn’t smell fresh, and there was a smoky smell in the bathroom even though it was a non-smoking room. The in-room phone didn’t work, so couldn’t reach reception or room service. Good things: the AC worked well, the receptionist was polite, check-in and check-out were smooth, and they let us keep our bags in the locker after checkout. Breakfast had options but tasted average. All that at a price point of 6k/night for a entry level deluxe room, definately not worth it. Wouldn’t recommend it for couples - didn’t feel safe.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever – Avoid at All Costs! I had the absolute WORST experience at Hotel Rajshree, Chandigarh, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. From the moment we checked in, the staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. No courtesy, no professionalism – it felt like we were bothering them just by being there. The lift was out of order, so we had to haul our luggage up the stairs – no assistance offered. The room was in a terrible state. The fan kept making noises and barely worked, and there were broken lights hanging from the fixtures, making the whole room feel dingy and neglected. We had specifically booked this hotel for the jacuzzi, but guess what? It was completely broken and unusable. Not just that – even the water pressure was terrible. When we asked about it, the staff acted like they couldn’t care less. Absolutely no maintenance, no customer service, and clearly no interest in guest satisfaction. It honestly felt like a scam. This place is a disaster and a total waste of money. DO NOT stay here. You’ll regret it.

My stay at Rajshree Hotel was very disappointing. The room had bedbugs, and around 1 AM I got bitten. Cleanliness and hygiene are not maintained at all. I would not recommend this place.very very cheap hotel…. Rajshree Hotel is a nightmare! Bedbugs all over the room, I couldn’t sleep and got bitten at midnight. Staying at Hotel Rajshree in Chandigarh was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made while traveling. It was less of a stay and more of a test of patience, comfort, and sanity. From the very beginning, things were off. 1. The elevator was non-functional, which meant dragging luggage up and down stairs without a single staff member offering help. For a hotel of this size, this is inexcusable. 2. I entered the room only to find the tap broken — literally falling apart in my hands. Something as basic as running water should not be a gamble. 3. The lobby felt more like a neglected government hospital than a welcoming hotel — dull lighting, faded walls, and zero warmth or professionalism. 4. The mattress was sunken and lumpy, as if it hadn’t been replaced or even checked in years. It was so uncomfortable, I’d have slept better on a railway platform. 5. The ceiling fan kept making loud, irregular noises through the night. It felt like sleeping under a helicopter that might fall on you at any point. 6. I ordered a cold coffee, which is supposed to be refreshing — but what I got was some sad, lukewarm mess clearly made with room temperature milk. No chill, no ice, just disappointment in a glass. 7. Breakfast was no better. The sandwiches were dry, lifeless, and clearly made hours in advance. And the sweet lassi, again, wasn’t even cold. How hard is it to refrigerate a drink? 8. But the absolute deal-breaker was the constant banging and hammering from construction work that started as early as 8 AM. Imagine finally falling asleep on an uncomfortable mattress, only to be jolted awake by loud, relentless hammering. It was impossible to relax, let alone enjoy any part of the day. This hotel completely ruined what was supposed to be a peaceful trip. The lack of maintenance, attention to detail, and complete disregard for guest comfort was appalling. I’ve stayed in budget hotels, luxury resorts, and everything in between — but this experience tops the chart in terms of how NOT to run a hospitality business. If you’re planning to stay at Hotel Rajshree — don’t. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Not even for free.

Bed Bugs and Dust This hotel lacks basic hygiene standards and competent customer service. Finding bed bugs is bad enough—but being brushed off without proper remediation is far worse. Very poor service — late food orders, had to follow up multiple times. Drilling work went on all day with no prior info, ruined our rest after travel. Rooms weren’t cleaned before check-in, and we had to call for it ourselves. They said breakfast was included, then charged us with no clear guidelines. Argument at reception, during checkout, runied the whole day. Total waste of money. Don’t recommend

Hotel Rajshri, Chandigarh – Honest Review Hotel Rajshri is located at a very convenient and accessible location, which is one of its strong points. However, the stay was not entirely satisfying due to several basic shortcomings. The breakfast menu was extremely limited and not up to the mark. The family room had a noticeable smoking smell, which was only temporarily masked by room freshener. Basic maintenance issues like a broken toilet jet spray and broken electric switches were disappointing, though the spray was repaired promptly. The pillow covers and small sofa chairs were dirty and gave an unclean feel to the room. The lighting in the room was inadequate, and there was no call or reminder for breakfast service. Additionally, the reception experience felt semi-welcoming rather than warm and professional. On the positive side, the air conditioning worked well, which was appreciated. Car parking is available, but it's inconveniently located in front of a neighboring building rather than the hotel premises. Overall, the hotel needs considerable improvement in cleanliness, hospitality, and basic amenities to match the potential offered by its prime location.

Stayed at Hyatt Centric, Chandigarh and had a great experience! Perfectly located right in the centre of the city. Rooms are classy with elegant architecture and marble touches. Staff is very courteous and always welcoming. Breakfast has a good mix of continental and Indian dishes (food leans towards non-spicy, which may suit some more than others). The in-house dining presentation was impressive, almost like something out of a movie. Amenities like the pool, spa and gym make the stay even better. Overall, a wonderful experience — would definitely love to come back!

Recently stayed just just a night and was seriously impressed with this property. Things started well with check-in, very pleasant interaction (I think her name was Harshita), I felt very welcome. The room was great, super clean, and well-designed. The bathroom is fully enclosed with real walls, not one of those awful frosted-glass setups. Breakfast had everything you could want, not sure how it should be better. Chandigarh is a fairly big city but I liked the location, Sector 17 seemed very convenient. In short the place bats a thousand and I'll stay again next time.

I had a lovely stay at Hyatt. The staff was welcoming and food was extremely good. My room was specious and full of basic amenities along with stocked up mini bar. Though my stay was short, it was indeed comfortable and relaxing.

Pathetic attitude towards guest. I went to dine yesterday on 11th Oct 2025 and as I sat down, the napkin/tabke cloth as u used it to wipe my face I saw stains of mint chutney and as I opened it further I saw hairs inside it.. I called the nearby staff of the hotel no one gave a satisfactory answer so unfortunately I encountered F n B director jhunjhunwala, who is a pathetic excuse for a human being. He shouted at me while we were sitting on our table in such a loud manner that the guets adjacent to my table were gazing at him. After this I walked out of the hotel, without dinning. While jhunjhunwala kept on shouting at me till the gate of the hotel, thinking that his loud voice will scare me. These are Truly shameless, pathetic n cheap people who don't understand hospitality industry behaviour. I have pics and videos to prove my stand. I also meet the exec chef prasnendru sen who is also clueless about his hotel and also who doesn't cares about the health of the guest and the fact that guets need a clean environment to eat. The blind management of this cheap hotel will be meet with severe legal action soon.. Do not waste your money in hyatt centric Chandigarh at all . The cafe at Strawberry Fields is an amazing place for staff and students! Wonderful food and amazing coffee. Leela makes the best coffee and the the food prepared by Suraj and Khan is absolutely brilliant. Excellent service and amazing food and drinks.

We visited Hyatt Centric in March 2025 for an event and a cozy staycation. Overall, the experience was excellent. Check-in was smooth, and the room quality lived up to Hyatt’s premium standards. It was our anniversary so Hyatt presented a complimentary delicious chocolate cake. I had booked the King Premium Room, which was well-appointed, though the space felt a bit compact considering the price point. We chose the dinner + breakfast inclusive package — both meals exceeded expectations. Dinner was flavorful and authentic, while breakfast was a highlight with a wide range of perfectly prepared dishes. The only downside was the unpleasant smell in the drinking water, resembling chlorine. Although the room bottles were sealed and fresh, the smell persisted even after the staff replaced them—first with new glass bottles, then with plastic ones. Unfortunately, the issue remained unresolved, and I had to arrange bottled water externally. Still, aside from this, our stay was enjoyable and the hospitality commendable.

Worst hotel stay ever. The staff is not at all cooperative. Rooms are in terrible condition, even telephones in rooms don’t work, plus hygiene and cleanliness is zero. On the second day of my stay I find 2 fat rats running out of my room at midnight. Staff makes fool out of guests. Overall horrific experience. I would rather recommend to cancel stay rather than staying here.

The room quality has degraded over this pandemic, the room was smelly, there furniture looked old, there wasn't proper maintenance and the blankets had stains in it. The room service and food isn't good as well, I'd not recommend it for the price they're offering the rooms for. Only saving grace is the rooms are a bit spacious than others.

The room I'm staying is a suite room. There is plenty of space available in the room, despite of two tables and 3 chairs available along with the refrigerator and one bag stand. Cupboard is available and the washroom is also in decent shape. Room service is good , although the price charged is not satisfactory. Overall the stay is good and the window view is good.

Location is look, almost middle of Chandigarh What I like not 👎 - Rooms are designed in old look or too old hotel - Most of the power switchs are not working properly - Tv was not working - Most important thing door lock was not working properly. Please check locks before entering. - if you're planning to celebrate any birthday or anniversary then contact out side of the vendors. Don't trust on hotel staff. They will charge 3x amount from you.

Stayed here for a few days in Mohali. The service is great, the staff are attentive and look to your needs. Big thanks to the Restaurant manager with the spectacles. Also the ladies Sandle and Vandana were a pleasure to deal with and very helpful as well. Will come here again for my next trip. Their breakfast is delightful and delicious. I would recommend any of their omelets. The rooms could use some sound deadening as the place can get loud. I want to mention that during my last day of stay at checkout I was mistakenly charged for a food bill that was for a neighboring room number, I had to dispute this and they made we wait for 30-40 minutes. There was an unexpected food bill of Rs 29,000 that popped up out of nowhere and the hotel staff seemed adamant at first stating it belonged to me when I explained to them about some details and questioned further and asked to check again. At the end they apologized for the error on their behalf and agreed that the bill belonged to a room besides mine (probably a large group). How did this happen I wonder still, maybe I was a foreigner hence why I discovered this issue. So a word of caution to double check all of your bills before check out!

The hotel staff is amazingly friendly, providing services with a smile and always there for the guests. They always help with a cheerful attitude and ready to help. Paras is particularly friendly, soft-spoken, polite, and courteous. Food tastes so nice that we love to come back again and again.

Exceptional in every aspect. The location is ideal, situated on the outskirts of Mohali, just a few kilometers from Chandigarh, making it perfect for residents of both cities. I hosted my engagement function on 19th April at the GBR Hall in Wyndham Mohali, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a deeply disappointing experience. The service was well below expectations, especially for an event of such significance. The food was served cold, and many items from the selected menu “especially snacks”were either delayed or not served at all. To make matters worse, rotis were served burnt. Despite repeated reminders to the captain and staff, there was no improvement in service throughout the evening. The waiters were seen standing idle with trays in hand, rather than attending to guests. We kept requesting the captain to instruct the staff, but there was little to no response. At the end of the function, when we raised our concerns, the only explanation given was, “Agge se dhyan rakhenge”—which is simply unacceptable after so many real-time reminders were ignored. This kind of mismanagement not only upset us but also left a poor impression on our guests. I strongly advise anyone planning an event here to consider alternative venues. Wyndham Mohali did not meet even the basic standards expected for hosting a special occasion.

Excellent choice in Chandigarh! The staff does an excellent job with everything. Water was provided in the room and was always available when needed. The workout facility was a great way to start the morning. The breakfast staff was so kind and helpful. We enjoyed all of the Indian food offerings and we couldn't get enough! The curry leaves egg white omelet is to die for and the vegetables in hot sauce were my favorite - I'm craving them now!!! The kitchen staff would make any type of bread that was requested, so we tried all the things. We also had chai every morning, so much so, the staff just brought it to us when they saw us enter in the morning 😆 Overall a really pleasant experience! I hope to be back someday 🙏

We had gone to JW Marriot for buffet lunch with great expectations but were deeply disappointed. The food was average and the service worst. Ordered for a cup of coffee (table number 22) but the same was not served despite 20 minutes wait and 3 reminders. Finally we went to the billing counter and complained. The casual response was, "Sorry Sir, just wait, we will get you the coffe". This kind of poor response and service is not expected from a five star hotel of repute.

I went their for an official lunch. Ambience, service, hospitality, courteous staff everything perfect. However, I personally didn't like the food. Couldn't get my taste buds moving or enjoying any of the dishes. I have eaten much much better food in various hotels I travelled so far.

While the property's location and ambience are commendable, the overall experience left much to be desired. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the service standards were lacking. The staff at reception, particularly the lady who checked us in, appeared inexperienced and did not extend even basic hospitality such as offering a glass of water while we waited. The room, booked for two guests, was equipped with amenities meant for just one—there was only a single set of toiletries, and the shower gel bottle was completely empty. The bathroom hygiene was extremely poor, with visible drainage issues causing water to clog in the sink. One evening, to our dismay, there was no running water in the taps at all. Each morning, we were disturbed by the loud noise of heavy machinery moving directly above our room. When brought to the attention of the reception, we were told it was due to another guest, which seemed unlikely and quite unconvincing. Room service and housekeeping were equally disappointing. Despite staying multiple nights, our room was not cleaned unless we specifically activated the "clean my room" switch—however, all lights, including this function, were deactivated when we left the room, making the system ineffective. Even after repeated requests, basic items like water bottles and coffee sachets were not replenished. Given the price point, we had much higher expectations for comfort, service, and cleanliness. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the cost, and we left feeling quite dissatisfied. This property may have potential, but serious attention is needed to improve guest experience and service quality.

My wife and I booked a room via Booking.com, as the ICON had good reviews and was located very properly. We were asked to wait and have a drink in the restaurant - but it turned out the staff was not able to find our (confirmed) booking and the hotel was fully booked. Things can happen I assume - but the ICON did not even cover our two soft drinks. That would have been the least.

This my 2 Time staying in Icon, my first experience was not that great, but I must say the second time they have increase the staff. Their staff are more well behaved and helpful, and the food was good. Overall it good Experience specially the manager, Dinesh Kumar was really helpful

Booking for Chandigarh & Rajpura was on 1 website for different locations. due to miscommunication, booked Chandigarh ICON. the representative did not help to transfer the booking to Rajpura, as he had missed the client as per his instructions. i had requested to wait till the guest's arrival we will pay, he was forcing me to pay before check-in and was non refundable. this was very bad experience. i am unsatisfied. Representative told me that we will give some discount in the Rajpura ICON stay. but he charged full for stay. staying icon was not so helpful. we travel from different cities to get something good and convenient. i dont think they are capable to serve good service

The hotel has spacious and well-maintained rooms, and the location is quite perfect—easily accessible and convenient. The ground staff was very cooperative and courteous, always ready to help with a smile. However, the front desk staff (Male) could certainly improve their behavior—a more respectful and polite tone while interacting with guests is expected, especially at the reception. Also, a word of caution for the room service team—shouting and making loud noises in the corridors at 5:30 AM and again around 1:00 AM is highly disturbing, especially for elderly guests or families trying to rest. With a little improvement in these areas, the overall guest experience could be much better.

0-Star Review Very disappointed with my stay. The bathroom had a strong, foul odor that didn’t go away, and the entire room smelled stale and unclean. It made the space really uncomfortable to be in. I reported it to the front desk, but instead of helping, the staff were cold and unprofessional — as if I was bothering them just for asking for basic cleanliness. This is not what I expect from any hotel, no matter the price point. Poor hygiene and rude service are a deal-breaker. I won’t be returning and don’t recommend it to others.

This hotel should no longer be a 4 star category. All the rooms are highky demanding maintenance, bed sheets were not clean, door handles were also not working properly. Even the bed was also made up by combining two single beds. I was allocated room no. 512, my experience was not good at all this time.

Worst choice made by us when we booked this hotel. Booked with the thought that the hotel had pool facility but after check in, we got to know that it's closed. Moreover, room was stinking. Don't go with the low price they are offering but look for some better hotel in the same price ofcourse you will find. This hotel is not advisable for the families too. Cutlery were also not properly washed and there was dust on that.

We stayed for a night in this hotel. The room was not clean so we got it cleaned again. The sheets smelled, the floor had hair all over and it was sticky for some reason. After seeing how they clean I wasn’t too surprised about the lack of cleanliness actually. The breakfast buffet was below average. The hotel is right in the middle of many shops and there are cafés inside the hotel property too.

Rooms are okay but bathrooms have seepage smell which goes off when you open exhaust for full day. Worst part is for breakfast you've to go to their old property Aroma it is not available in the same building. Starbucks and coffee bean is the front fascia with a small table reception. Parking is available and it is free. location is very good as every famous food joint is nearby. Staff is polite and courteous. overall a pocket friendly stay but nothing to expect as premium.

The rooms are spacious and aesthetically built. Infrastructure is well maintained. However, servers are not trained and under staff. Swimming pool was not manned by the staff. Pool had allegi and dirty. Guests wore plain clothes with shirts and pants inside the pool. Surrounding area was wet, making it risky. Breakfast buffet was limited and not as per standard. However, regular food are good.

I recently stayed at Ramada and mentioned my Wyndham Rewards BLUE Member ID #512349465K during check-in on July 27 2025, as instructed by the front desk staff. I also confirmed this again at checkout July 29 2025 with Front desk Lady staff that points would be credited by next day. However, the points have not been credited to my account, which is disappointing, especially as a frequent business traveler who relies on these benefits. Additionally, I noticed the restaurant staff during breakfast hours were not attentive and seemed more engaged in personal conversations. Morning service is a critical time for business travelers, and timely service is expected. I request prompt resolution regarding the missing points and hope improvements are made in breakfast service. Thank you.

Some small things didn't work like a lamp and a switch panel. Rest was very good. Location is on Zirakpur highway, good access to the city.

Had a two day stay here and it was nothing but disappointing, particularly due to one individual Arvind who works as a valet with the property, he is one of the rudest individual i have come across in many years across different sectors in the hospitality industry. If a hotel guest is walking on hotel grounds, how does a valet have the rights to continuously honk even when the entire road is vacant, when asked the response was nothing but rude, with a clear attitude of go tell the Manager i don’t care. Other downside is the general poor room maintenance.

Overall, a nice experience. The rooms were clean and decently sized, offering a comfortable stay. Breakfast was okay, not exceptional, but sufficient for a quick start to the day. One letdown was the absence of a swimming pool, which was disappointing given the 5-star tag. Also, the check-out experience could've been smoother. I requested a 1 PM checkout and was firmly told that 12:30 PM was the latest possible. While I understand hotel policies, the tone at reception could’ve been more courteous and polished. On my next visit to Chandigarh, I might explore other 5-star options.

Our recent stay at Novotel Chandigarh was extremely disappointing, especially considering the reputation the brand carries. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below even basic standards of hospitality. No Swimming Pool: The property does not have a pool, which is surprising for a hotel in this category and price range. Room Booking Issues: We had made a last-minute booking and, by mistake, selected twin sharing rooms. Since we were three couples with kids, we requested king rooms, which were clearly shown as available on the website at the same price. However, the staff outright refused to accommodate us. We had to push twin beds together to make do, only to find dirt and filth under the beds—clearly showing poor housekeeping standards. Unhygienic Milk: We requested milk for the kids, and what was served was not just stale but stinking so badly that our room started smelling foul. We eventually had to move to another couple’s room because it became unbearable. Food Request Denied: We asked if a small portion of food could be packed from the breakfast buffet for our toddler for the journey back. The staff rudely denied the request, showing no flexibility or basic care for families traveling with kids. Lost and Found Negligence: I accidentally left my baby’s sipper at the restaurant. When I called reception, they bluntly said nothing was found. Later, when I went downstairs myself, it was lying right there. This shows how careless and indifferent the staff is—they don’t even bother to check. Rude Staff: The attitude of the staff throughout was shockingly unprofessional. Instead of being courteous, they spoke to us rudely, as if venting out their own work frustration on guests. Meal Coupon Denied: We had a meal coupon for lunch, but the staff flatly denied us the option to use it without any valid explanation. Lack of Hospitality: Overall, the hotel made no effort to adjust, accommodate, or even serve customers properly. Hospitality seemed to be the last thing on their minds. Final Verdict: For a property under the Novotel brand, this was a thoroughly disappointing stay. From unhygienic conditions and rude staff to lack of basic hospitality, the experience was frustrating at every step. Families traveling with kids should especially avoid this hotel, as it is not at all child-friendly. With so many good options available in Chandigarh, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

We had a decent stay. Bed and bathroom was clean. Room size was OK but bathroom size was very small. Plus the shower water was splashing on plug/switch board right below on the side of shower, which can be risky and management needs to take care of it. Floor cleaning could have been done better. Still, overall it was a good place to stay.

I had a two days stay (March 20-32) here with my family. This hotel is perfectly located in a well-connected place. The rooms are neat and clean. Service staff is all polite and helpful. The restaurants are also neat and clean, and the food there is very delicious. In short-full value of your money. I would like to stay here on my next visit.

Terrible service -- room had no towels when I checked in; bed sheet was dirty. there was no hot water and the shower did not work -- neither were fixed even after I informed the staff. Room was generally dusty. Only saving grace was that the AC worked. Better hotels at probably the same price across the street. Spend Rs 500 / 1000 more if you can afford it and go to a better place.

Not worth for money! 1) The condition of the room was not good & was far different from the pictures. The furniture was too outdated. 2) We were charged even for water that too more than double the original price. 3) Breakfast menu was very limited. There were only 2 food items on the name of buffet. 4) The tone of receptionist was quite unfriendly. 5) there were big holes in bedsheet & towel 6) Toiletries were not refreshed.

Wonder how they got 4 star rating until now. I have had a pathetic hospitality experience here. The rooms were unclean the beds were unclean and unchanged when we checked in. On escalating it they changed the bed sheets. Their housekeeping staff gives you a poor responses to your requests. I Highly Recommend Not to prefer this hotel. Check for any other better hotels near by.

My ring ceremony held on 18/07/2021 got spoiled deliberately by this hotel red velvet zirakpur. I want refund from the owner. Ms Tripti and other hotel workers were so rude. I wont bear this at any cost. I want refund for this. I suggest everyone not to book this hotel for any function.

Its better to stay at roadside than in this hotel... no fan in room...after every 1 hr their is electricity failure and they don't start Generater in middle of the night... no one to hear at reception at 5am in the morning. Dharamshalas must be better than this hotel.

I attended a Yamaha musical instruments event here on the 17th of Oct. 2025 with few of my friends. The valet took my car at the entry area and gave me a slip. Around the closure of the event, somebody from the valet team came and told me that my car was not starting and they have to relocate it. I went with him and tried the ignition that started the car without any problem. When I stepped out, one of the Valet guy told me that they had accidently bumped my car from the rear mud guard on the driver side! I gave them a scratch-less car and they were feeling sorry that they bumped and scratched it pretty well. Later I complained to the Manager on Duty and he promised to give me a call-back the next morning after discussing with the administration. I never received a call from them. This is pathetic and shows their non-professional attitude while being in the service industry. I'm sure they have equally irresponsible hotel services and amenities. I would recommend nobody to use their valet parking services if they want to save their drives. I have included photos of the dents/scratches and for comparison also included a single photo of the good side.

I recently visited Hometel with my family and had a lovely experience. We tried the new menu at their restaurant Flavours and the food really impressed me! Started with the Roasted Tomato and Fennel Soup, it was absolutely delicious. Also tasted their Mezze & Dips and Vietnamese-style Noodle Spring Rolls which were beautifully presented. The overall vibe of the place was warm and welcoming. Great hospitality and a pleasant ambiance. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

It was a lovely experience staying at hometel. Not just because of the stay and food but primarily because of the hospitality, personalised experiences given by staff, them remembering our preferences, treating us so nicely, always smiling and so much more. People like their GM, Sunil Khera or a staff like Amit at a restaurant and everyone else, they gave us a real feeling of atithi devo bhav. So thank you. We shall see you all again soon.🙏🙏

First of all it is expensive for the kind of room structure you get. Additionally, there are food items placed in your room like chips, soft drinks etc. Any guest would assume that they would be included in the hotel package and consume them because you already paid more than the room and property deserves. But you get billed for them separately. And no prior information about the same. Atleast describe them in your policy. Literally regret staying here. Would have easily booked a 5-star for the aggregate price I paid here.

Booked it for one night, the price is not justified with the kind of room and there were basic eateries in room like chips, biscuits and we were charged extra for the same without any prior information. If any kind of items like cold drink is placed in your room fridge the guest will assume it to be included in room package, but overcharged for these items at the time of checkout with extra GST over the MRP. Worst experience staying here. Could have stayed in 5 star at the cost of this hotel room.

Solo female traveller who stayed at Hotel City Heart for 2 nights. The hotel could do with a make over as it's relatively run down. You will find broken tiles and tapware, sheets with holes, exposed pipes in the bathroom etc. There is also a distinct smell to the rooms which is really strong when you first arrive and road traffic could be heard from my room. That being said, the bed was comfortable and the shower was piping hot. Location is great with many eateries in walking distance and to all the main attractions. A lift is available and service was pretty good. Can't comment on the food/restaurant as I didn't order from here. It was difficult to find a hotel in this price range that didn't have such varied feedback, so hopefully this review will help. I would stay again 🙏🏼

Location is Good. rest all things are horrible. Washroom flush not working. Shower is leakage. And if you’re are calling for customer service for towel or water bottle. You have to wait for 10-15 min with multiple phone call. They took 3400 Rs for offline booking for one day. And service and stay rating is worst then any public Dharamshala. Pls avoid to stay here. Prompt Cleaning Services After arriving from Chandigarh railway station, our shoes got dirty due to ongoing construction work. When we checked in, they left a bit of a mess. The room cleaning staff were incredibly prompt, arriving quickly and handling the situation with utmost politeness and efficiency. Excellent Housekeeping The housekeeping services were timely and thorough, ensuring our stay was always comfortable. Delicious Breakfast Buffet The morning buffet was a delightful experience, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. Supportive Staff Every member of the hotel staff was ready to assist with a smile, making us feel truly welcomed. Everything was fine except hygiene. All the cups were so dirty that even after cleaning them with hot water dust and small hairs kept popping up. The same was the condition for both the cups in the room as well as in their dining area

A big thanks to Mr. Vikas Chauhan.This is first time I visited Chandigarh and found this place to stay as suggested by some colleagues and I am truly delighted to stay here. Good rooms nice location (for me it was even better as it is near to my work location) and most importantly delicious food. The incident occurred on 26 September 2025, between 10:30–11:30 PM, and I was shocked by the lack of basic decorum. Some guests were extremely loud, literally screaming in the hotel premises. When I reported this to the manager on duty, he refused to intervene, saying it was “guests’ choice” and that staff couldn’t do much. The staff were unapologetic and indifferent to the disturbance. I request higher authorities to review the CCTV footage from that timeframe to understand the severity of the issue. A hotel of this standard should ensure a peaceful environment for all guests. Unfortunately, this felt more like a fish market than a premium property. I do not recommend booking Radisson Red Mohali if you expect a calm, well-managed

I recently had the chance to visit Radisson RED Chandigarh, Mohali on the recommendation of Vikas Chauhan, and it was an excellent experience. We have booked a deluxe room on triple sharing basis for one night on .... The bed was too small for 3 pax. The AC was making lots of noise that hampered our sound sleep which was too much troublesome ... We asked for extra pillow 3 times, lastly reply came from room service that they have knocked 3 times and there was no reply from our end. And this was completely a bluff. However a pillow was provided. In the washroom a flush was not working which was intimated to the reception and was assured to set it perfect by the receptionist. Alas, this remain undone till check out. .

AVOID THIS HOTEL FOR FAMILY FUNCTIONS AT ALL COSTS! Our experience at Sunpark Hotel, Zirakpur was nothing short of a nightmare. We had booked over 70 rooms for a family function, and despite early coordination, the hotel failed us miserably on every front. First, the check-in process was a disaster — keys were handed over after 2 PM even though check-in time was 12 noon, and we had booked half the property. The manager misled us from the start, promising services and facilities that he completely backed out of at the last moment. The food was horrible — cold, stale, and caused food poisoning for several guests. The snacks were not fresh, and the overall food quality was substandard, which is unacceptable when hosting a major function. To make things worse, service was pathetic, and the staff was rude and unaccommodating. Despite prior discussion and confirmation, the pool was suddenly denied for our Haldi ceremony, which was one of the main reasons we chose this venue. On top of everything, they overcharged us for trivial things, like exorbitant penalties for lost keys, even with such a large booking. This hotel completely ruined our special occasion. I strongly urge others NOT to book this property for any event, especially family functions. Poor management, false promises, terrible service, and unhygienic food — Sunpark Hotel should be your last choice.

The worst ever stay my life,.. so called suit room but so dirty and flithhy...bad smell coming from fridge and bathroom... furniture and fixtures were outdated and broken....no hot water came when I went to take bath....water tape were jammed... A fabulous hotel situated in the heart of Zirakpur. A professionally run hotel, with courteous and well dressed staff. Stayed for two nights and found the rooms quite big, clean and chilling air conditioning. The food was satisfactory, though just had breakfast. With its big lawns. large parking spaces, wonder why drive out of Zirakpur,when similar,if not better facilities exist at Velvet Clarks. Keep up the good work and look forward to another stay. The staff is super polite and cooperative. They upgraded us to a better room just out of courtesy, we were travelling from Ahmedabad. The breakfast was also decent and there were quite many varieties. I would say this is totally value for money.

Really the hotel was very good, the behavior of the hotel staff was very good, they were talking respectfully. The hotel rooms were clean and very good , basic facilities (clean towel , AC , hot water etc ) were available in the hotel rooms. But one thing is not good that they charge for drinking water. My experience at this hotel was excellent. Front desk lady & Mr Lalitkumar were very kind and helpful. Hotel is located in main city, very close to famous shastri market, Sec-17_ 22 markets, and surrounded by many public parks. Room alloted for me had balcony facing towards main road. Food served at their restaurant was really tasty, liked it. I recommend.

Stayed at this hotel, under 3,000 i was not expecting this type of room in this price. I have taken this hotel for staying at night. The night was heaven. The bed was comfortable. By the time the room was little smelly but after 5 - 10 mins… it was ok. The TV was working properly. And bathroom was clean the bath items were of famous brand “ Jaguar “. There was a small Elmira for our luggage. We have also taken the breakfast. The breakfast was more excellent than we were expecting. Breakfast was good and served in hygiene. My room no. was 137 deluxe room it was more than Expected by my family. Thanks Diamond plaza for this peaceful stay and proving us that you have good property. The staff was cooperative and behaviour was good. The outside food is also allowed that’s the great thing. Location is also perfect it was near sec 22 D market called as Shastri market. Best thing about this place is the “ location”. It is located on the main road. The interior is weird (bhool bhuliya) and you will get confused if have reserved multiple rooms. We booked three rooms and they gave us rooms in three different directions. The staff was very slow or ignorant. We asked them for milk for our boy. By the time it was served my boy slept. No doubt the rooms were good but at the same time was dirty. One can easily analyse it is a property which is not taken care properly. There was moisture on the walls, floor was dirty and the balcony was full of pigeons s***. Rooms are good but not maintained properly. If you have sensitive nose that you can witness smell. One more thing which was disappointing that you can access lift from 9-9. After that it is closed. It can be uncomfortable/inconvenient for elder or people who can’t climb stairs. Definitely this place needs more efficient management.

Food is affordable and they provide quick service. Their 200 Rs. Veg Buffet breakfast is amazing. There are many eating options nearby. Also, Shastri market is 700m away from the hotel Overall, very satisfied with the hotel.

Decent & budget friendly hotel to stay. Staff is courteous and amenities are sufficient. Facilities for holding conferences and seminars in addition to small gatherings are possible here. A small gym along with a swimming pool are notable amenities which are not available in the vicinity within similar budget. Recommended for a stay.

Service was quite bad. Rooms are very decently made no issues there but they are dirty. No one here has heard of vacuum. Reception staff is good and well mannered. Rest of staff: there is lack of cooridination. If you order room service you need to make separate calls to room service and housekeeping again to clear the dishes and wipe the table. Room service will just clear the dishes. Table is dirty after eating? Make another call to housekeeping. If your car is dirty in their parking the next morning you are told to clean yourself. Tip doesnt work because it is not their job to clean a car and they dont have a cleaner of car. Restaurant staff is generally well behaved. Food is average. It is good if you stick to basics like paratha but tasted sweet sambhar and chatni with idly for first time. Overall not bad for a couple of days if you need to go out anyway. But they need to work on service if they wish to improve their ratings and money they charge.

The service was very Good the staff were very friendly, But the rooms were very dirty, the washroom closet was broken, and when had asked for a room change we were asked to adjust the stay with the broken washroom closet, the curtains were stained and had a bad odour from them, the pillows had dampness smell, overall a bad experience of the room , but good staff though.

I always hate to give any negative ratings, especially to human beings😒 but this is the fault of management and not the staff who was literally misbehaving and throwing attitude in dining area where breakfast buffet was arranged ,why don't the higher management assess before recruiting the staff properly. I recently stayed at this hotel and had an extremely disappointing experience. Upon arrival, I politely requested assistance to help with our luggage from the car to the room, as I was traveling with a baby and a young child, and had several large suitcases. The receptionist, however, was incredibly rude and dismissive. He retorted, "Hotel me sabhi raje samjte hai," implying that I was asking for too much. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of empathy was shocking, especially considering the circumstances. Additionally, there was no air conditioning in the lobby, making the wait even more unbearable in the sweltering heat. Overall, the lack of basic customer service and amenities made this stay far from pleasant. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and hospitable environment.

Hotel ambience was nice. Staff was also quite good. Room was a bit messy and the tv didn't work. Hotel location was perfect. Market nearby in sector 8 was fabulous naturals was also present nearby.All tourist spots were in the 2 km radius. Prefer this hotel only if you want accessiblity of all tourist spots. I wont recommend this hotel if you want luxury at this price. Review of Hotel Emerald, Sector 8C, Chandigarh My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The reception staff was extremely rude and unhelpful, which set a bad tone right from the start. The rooms were not clean, with visible dust and lack of proper upkeep. The toilet was also dirty, and basic toiletries were not provided, which is the minimum one expects from any hotel. Overall, a very poor experience — definitely not worth the money.

We 3 persons were in the hotel for 2 different days and in two different rooms. Location is good. It's on second floor and no lift is available. Aged and differently abled should take note of this. Otherwise the location is good. Cleanliness is also good. They don't have a restaurant so room with breakfast is not advisable. I would give 3.5 stars overall.

Good hotel in sector 8C of chandigarh. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are courteous. No lift facility. Ample parking is available outside the restaurant. Room service is available and Staff responded quickly upon request. We had complimentary breakfast on 2 different days and the spread was adequate and tasty. They helped us courier clothes and other items purchased in Punjab to Bangalore at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a stay while in chandigarh.

A Stay to Forget at Fern Residency Chandigarh My recent experience at Fern Residency Chandigarh was deeply disappointing and frankly, quite appalling. Despite the hotel seemingly presenting itself as a respectable establishment, the reality was a far cry from any semblance of comfort or hygiene. The issues began immediately upon entering the room. The linen was visibly dirty, raising immediate concerns about cleanliness. Unfortunately, this was just the tip of the iceberg. The plumbing in the bathroom was blocked, making even basic tasks inconvenient and unpleasant. Venturing beyond the room revealed further cause for alarm. The kitchen appeared to be unhygienic, a truly worrying aspect for any hotel. Back in the room, the discomfort continued with air conditioners that were not functioning properly, leaving the room stuffy and uncomfortable. The beds themselves were equally unwelcoming, offering little support and making for a restless night. Adding insult to injury, the hotel claims a certain star rating, which is clearly undeserved. The state of the facilities and the level of cleanliness observed were far below any reasonable expectation for a rated hotel. Even simple amenities like towels were dirty and torn, further highlighting the lack of attention to basic hygiene and maintenance. Overall, my stay at Fern Residency Chandigarh was marred by significant issues related to cleanliness, functionality, and misrepresentation. I would strongly advise potential guests to consider other options to avoid a similarly unpleasant experience. This is certainly not a place I would recommend.

Terrible Experience – Not Worth the Money My stay at The Fern Residency, Chandigarh was extremely disappointing. The staff was unprofessional and seemed more interested in drinking than doing their jobs. The food was absolutely terrible — tasteless and poorly prepared. There was zero support from the staff, and they showed no respect or courtesy toward guests. Overall, a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable or respectful stay.

Very poor service. Breakfast have fix menu daily idali, uttapam, medu vada, kheer. Tea quality is poor. Live counter service is very poor. They do not provide dosa. Staff is very slow Specially Mr. Ramesh. Room cleaning is not proper. In non smoking room smoke smell was coming. Door between two rooms hence no privacy. They don’t have queen size bed, in all rooms twin bed are joined hence no quality sleep.

The rooms are excellent and the food quality is really good. The breakfast spread was awesome. Ramesh attended us and served us excellently. I will recommend to visit this place to everyone.

It's a business hotel but there is a dullness about the interiors esp in room and lobby. Location is also ok only with nothing much in surrounding but good for morning walks. Phase I hotels are better for sure. There is Mercure hotel also which has come up in surrounding. So if you looking to stay in Phase2 then Mercure and Novotel should be your first choice places. Breakfast area and spread were also ok only. Overall an average stay I had at Fern n not having repeat value. Management should do some overhaul to increase customer delight and experience and make the hotel more lively. It felt more like a company guest house than a brands hotel

However, my overall experience was marred by disappointing customer service. When I wished to extend my stay by a day, I encountered an issue with the front office staff. Initially, they rudely informed me that I would have to pay a higher rate than I had the previous day because I had not informed them in advance. Fortunately, a senior staff member intervened and courteously resolved the matter, allowing me to extend my stay at the same tariff. However, the next day at breakfast, I felt let down again. Arriving 15 minutes late for the buffet, I was informed—rather curtly—that the complementary breakfast would not be served, and I would need to pay extra if I wanted to eat. While I understand rules need to be followed, the lack of professionalism and flexibility in handling the situation was disappointing. They could have handled it better, especially since the food was still available. While the location is excellent, the inconsistent service and lack of professional courtesy make it difficult for me to recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. I hope they work on improving their customer service to match the promise of their prime location.

I recently booked this hotel for a party, which was attended by almost 70 people. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by multiple issues. First, we found an insect in one of the sweet dishes, forcing us to have it replaced in the middle of the party. What was even more frustrating was the lack of any apology from the staff. Instead, we were told, "We don't make it here," which was hardly reassuring. The problems didn't end there. Later, we discovered a hair in one of the food items. When we brought it to the staff's attention, we were dismissed with the response, "It's your destiny, and in the food industry, this happens." Such a nonchalant attitude towards hygiene and customer service was extremely disappointing. To make matters worse, the overall behavior of the staff was downright rude. From the beginning, we were met with dismissive and unprofessional attitudes. It was frustrating, to say the least For a special occasion, I expected better attention to detail and customer care. The lack of accountability and proper handling of these issues left a sour taste in an otherwise important event. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone looking to host a memorable, trouble-free celebration.

We went to this hotel to see their banquet for our wedding. The manager over there was very rude, disrespectful towards us. I mean when some one is this rude to you when you were just seeing their banquet I hate to imagine their services if we booked them. Not recommend at all. I guess his name is Harjinder or Harjit something like that. Least interested showing us their banquet. If the hotel owner is reading this you need to take strict actions against his behaviour. We went on Thursday 29may,2025 somewhere around 6:30 dear owner check footage and if camera with sound recording see that also.

Small rooms and the worst air conditioning ever seen in a hotel, firstly ac was not working and somehow it starts working it shuts off again , not able to sleep both nights and unbearable in daytime, but the staff was nice and fast and the food was adequate also.

Google maps say it's a 4 star hotel, I beg to differ. Rooms are okish. People and staff behaviour are the best if you ask me but when it comes to cleanliness, you may find cockroaches roaming near the buffet table and tea kettles with lot of dirt and rust. This place has hygiene issues otherwise good staff and decent rooms.

This hotel food was so amazing, the stay here is comfortable. We had taken some 25 room for a bunch of 90 kids for a college trip, they have arranged the DJ at night with our own natives songs. Staff were very supportive. In morning brakefast they have a alu parota

The hotel is good for its price in chandigarh city. Although the room provide to us was not sonund proof we could hear every sound which was coming from the corridor. The food was good but seems overpriced. All the staff is good and well behaved.

Checked in at an odd hour of 3 in the morning to catch a flight. The location is convenient as it is just 20 minutes of walking distance from the airport. The rooms are okay, cleanliness is also okay. The service from the staffs were good, they were kind, helpful and welcoming. The food was decent, I ordered a aloo paratha with curd and pickle. Coffee not so much. Would recommend for a solo male traveller for a short stay.

I stayed at Hotel Eurasia Mohali with my family. Great hotel near Chandigarh International Airport accessible easily. Overall, Hotel Eurasia Mohali met our expectations with its excellent service, clean room & washroom, delicious food. It's definitely the best option for anyone needing to catch an early morning flight from Chandigarh. Recommended to enjoy a wonderful stay .

The worst hotel I have ever stayed. I have been travelling and staying in hotels for work for last 30 years and this was the worst of all. I don’t know where to start right from the sultry rooms, dirty linen, AC, not working TV, not working very low pressure in the bathroom pipes leaking every thing was in a state of mess. In the morning, the staff sitting at the reception was not able to generate my bill for 10 minutes. Once the bill came out. It was so shabby because the printer was not working properly. It is better to stay in Mohali or Chandigarh and spend some time in travelling rather than staying here with the objective of being close to the airport, which truly gives you a bad taste to start your journey.

I had a very disappointing stay at Hotel Eurasia, Mohali (near the airport). The room was in terrible condition – no control for the fan or AC, the sofa, bed, and sheets were dirty, and overall cleanliness was very poor. The worst part was that in the morning there was not even a drop of water available in the bathroom. I called the reception but got no solution, and I had to leave for the airport without being able to take a bath. For a hotel located near the airport, this was a very bad and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend staying here.

Not a very good experience. Far away from every place. Approach is terrible, says "right opposite to airport", but need to take a 10 minute, 3 km trip to reach from/to airport. Service etc is nice, but not worth the money. Better stay for cheaper inside the city and spend money on cab service..

The hotel only have the location benefits. Otherwise the service and rooms are not good at all. Don’t have Wi-Fi facilities. Don’t have TV connection working. Even’s don’t have drinking water, you have to ask for it and you will get when needed. If you just want to spent a night then it’s ok but not good for comfort.

We had a great experience at Hotel KB Square during our recent stay as a couple. The location is very convenient, just a short distance from Chandigarh Railway Station, making it ideal for transit or short stays. The hotel even arranges for transportation in the middle of night if required. The room was cozy and well-maintained, with all the essential amenities for a comfortable stay—AC, geyser, shower, bidet, commode, and a TV. Everything was functional and clean. The hotel staff was polite and helpful, and the overall service was prompt. A special mention for the food—it’s strictly vegetarian, but absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed the homely taste and quality. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended for budget travellers and couples looking for a peaceful stay with basic comforts in place. Would definitely stay again! Only downside: no dustbin in the room, which was a bit inconvenient.

It is close to Chandigarh Railway Station. The hotel was not clean. The bedsheets and blankets were very dirty. There was no ventilation in the washroom. The food and plates in the hotel were very dirty. But a person who sat at the counter behaved good.

Broken door handles , bathroom light not working, Geyser was being turned off by the hotel staff and the main control unit for geyser was outside the room which wasn't told to me until asked still they were turning it off again and again on their own . complimentary breakfast was opted but the hotel management refused as they provided an excuse that it's only served till 10 am which again nobody told me about . Unhygienic rooms . Totally not recommended. About the good ratings the same hotel has 2 listings on Google maps and this one is somehow good but the other listing tells the truth.

Worst ever location I've been. I booked it because of earlier great experience with treebos. Ambience is nothing short of nonsense. Dirty gullies and junk all around. Proper beds not provided for all adults. Breakfast was below par. Would strongly recommend everyone not to get carried by treebos name. It is very shabby.

The hotel is a simple no-nonsense one, located in the by-lanes very close to Chandigarh railway station. The rooms were sufficiently big, there was hot water throughout the day. I'm not aware if there was an in-house restaurant, so I did not avail of room service. The check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. Recommended if you aren't looking for anything fancy and just want a comfortable place to sleep at night between local sightseeing visits.

The place is good to stay...I stayed there one night only so cannot say much. But before checking in make sure that you see the photos attached by the visitors and not by the hotel. The prices are also low since there are many hotels in that area. So I will suggest you to go in that area and try to negotiate the price in the different hotel and then book a hotel, you can do this if you are on a budget trip or if you want to save some money. Ok last but not the least I want to tell that they give you one water bottle and a breakfast free in the stay but do confirm that too before you book. yes most importantly the wi-fi speed is pretty good

The quality of rooms is quite mediocre. Stay here only if you want an adjusted night's stay. Rooms are spacious compared to other oyos. Bedsheet and other amenities are not properly maintained, so choose this hotel only if you dont have better options available.

Worst experience ever. If you are local and want to spend night then you can go here. But if anyone coming from outside Chandigarh, i advice not to chose this hotel. When i reached there, the receptionist was drunk and one can say not a warm welcome. Then room was not properly cleaned. Bathroom was also not clean and it's door was stuck ie one can't close the door. This was winter and they provided us with only one blanket, i asked them for one more which they didn't provide.

The hotel was average. It lacked some basic facilities. the bed blanket was not good enough to withstand the cold, and luckily we carried an extra blanket and managed with it.. The bathroom shower was not working. I just stayed for a night so didn't mind about others problems.. On the good side, the morning breakfast was good. We had complimentary breakfast and they provided ala-carte from a limited menu. the taste was pretty good There were many hotels in the same road stretch and many seemed good from outside, so would recommend considering others as well if the costs are almost same

Hotel rooms are kept in absolutely disgusting state, We were given rooms with dirty oil and blood stains on the linen. No house keeping staff at the hotel. Rude management. And the Hotel Manager actually has the audacity to post positive reviews about the hotel from his own profile to try and improve the ratings of the hotel. Mr. Prashant it would be better if you address and resolve your customer's grievances and if you are not able to provide a decent room to your guest who then had to wait in your lobby and finally leave in search of another hotel, at least have the shame to refund the customer and not be rude about taking the money when the customer couldn't even stay in the hotel because of the hotel's issues.

Disgusting filthy rooms. Washrooms that stink. Shockingly the hotel does not even have any housekeeping staff. They simply said we cannot do anything about the blood and marks on the bedsheets. We came down with our bags within 30 minutes when no help arrived for cleaning and they made us wait in the reception for refund for 2 hours.

Very bad and pathetic hotel....I have booked 8 rooms and they suddenly increased the rate as per the previous commitment. One of the person name Suraj he doesn't have sense to talk with the customer. Doesn't recommend this hotel to anyone. A normal dhabhas is better then this hotel.

The hotel was an outright fraud. We were duped by them. First, they gave us a fully furnished room and demanded payment. Later, they informed us that the room had been mistakenly displayed as a family suite and that we were to change to a completely filthy room with mold developing on the walls and dust all over the place, even the bedroom headrest. When we complained about the lack of water, they urged us to allow them some time to take care of it, but they never did. We felt as like we were suffocating and were unable to breathe properly. Imagine being duped after a long and exhausting travel. We therefore made the decision to leave and look for another hotel. Not only did they not reimburse the money. Apps for bookings shouldn't take such fraud into account. For us, it was an absolute nightmare. Kindly avoid falling for scams as we did.

One Star because Negative is not available here. Worst stay in Chandigarh city. Reception boys are goofy/stupid and making their money by asking more price from guests. Online bookings are clearly denied at check in time and demanding double the amount to pay. Rooms are very untidy, old building with negative vibes.

A little old, so the walls are crumbling and you can see leaky patches on the roof when lying on the bed. The bedsheets and pillow covers were a little grimy from use. But the staff was very cordial, the price very low, and the location was quite central.

Great hotel! Spotless rooms, clean washrooms and quick service from the staff who greet you with a smile. They don't have an in house kitchen/dining area but they do have a menu from an adjacent hotel and deliver the food to your room. Impeccable hygiene is their standout feature. The sheets were milk white, floors had zero dust and the sofa/furniture was clean as well. A complete utility kit was provided in the washroom. I can recommend it to anyone looking for a stay whose main priority is clean, no-nonsense rooms and good service.

Very nice hotel, with big rooms and bathrooms. Old style, cricket theme, great pieces of furniture. Very kind staff. In the room there is always fresh water in glass bottles (well done! Stop plastic!), biscuits and coffee/tea with a boiler. TV with Netflix, prime etc is there and it was a good bonus as one day it rained a lot and we spent a lot of time in the room. There could be more sockets, especially near the bed. The hotel is near a taxi parking, bus stop and some very good restaurants. Great stay, highly recommended.

Disappointed & Dismayed. We had been looking forward to staying at this boutique hotel, especially since it’s owned by the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. Located in a lively market surrounded by cafes and shops, it seemed promising at first glance. But the moment you step in, the illusion starts to crumble. What initially looks like a quaint curio shop quickly turns into a nightmare once you’re shown to your room. Stark white walls with no character, zero warmth, and worse—barely any light. The windows are blocked by really high walls, making the space feel more like a jail than a hotel room. What did we do wrong? And the bathrooms? A design disaster. The commode is placed right inside the shower space—yes, you read that right—making basic hygiene feel like a logistical challenge. As if that wasn’t enough, the staff was slow, impolite, and downright indifferent. During a power outage, they refused to turn on the generator, leaving us frustrated and in the dark. Literally. The atmosphere is downright eerie. Nothing about this place feels welcoming. It felt more like we were trespassing than guests. Save yourself the regret. Do. Not. Book. Even one night here is one too many. Couldn’t wait for the night to end sooner.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Hype or Price We booked The Kaptains Retreat in Chandigarh, lured by its glowing reviews and the reputation of its owner, Kapil Dev. While the location is great and the entrance looks cozy, the experience quickly went downhill. We had booked the King Room, but it felt more like a jail cell—no windows, no natural light, and a completely closed-off feel. Basic amenities were poorly thought out—no accessible charging points by the bed, and plugs were awkwardly hidden behind furniture. The electricity kept tripping, and shockingly, at night the backup wasn't even turned on. I had to walk out in pitch darkness and call for staff, which felt incredibly unsafe. The bathroom was a disaster—the commode was inside the shower area, and water took over 10 minutes to drain. Just absurd. No in-house restaurant or kitchen. Food is brought in from outside at inflated rates. The staff seemed indifferent and disinterested throughout. Overall, a deeply underwhelming and uncomfortable stay. We couldn’t wait to leave. Not recommended

Very disappointed with this hotel. I requested to use the common washroom, but the staff rudely refused and said I must first book a room. This shows a complete lack of basic kindness and hospitality. A hotel should understand that washroom use is a necessity, not a privilege only for paying guests. Definitely not a welcoming experience.

Hotel owned by kapil Dev's family. The hotel has a vintage feel. The staff is prompt. Only drawback is that property has no restaurant but there are plenty on them in the neighborhood so no worries. Also toilet seat in show area is a wierd idea. But otherwise no complaints
