Hotel
Nestled at the edge of Porec's charming Old Town, BO Hotel Palazzo is a captivating boutique hotel that beautifully marries historical charm with modern luxury. With its origins dating back to 1910, this seafront gem boasts refined accommodations and an elegant restaurant, all while providing breathtaking views of Sveti Nikola Island. Guests can unwind by the outdoor pool or indulge in rejuvenating treatments at the spa area.
Very good hotel to visit, good staff, breakfast, view and everything. The reason i will visit again this hotel is Mr. Vesko very good person.
Shkëlqim M — Google review
Rooms are far from luxury. There was not a porter to help us with our luggage. The first room we were given was subpar. The room itself was in pretty shabby shape - air conditioning did not work. Phone did not work. No mini bar fridge or coffee maker. We had to ask for bath towels. After having to go back down to reception (as the phone would not work), we were “upgraded” to a junior suite with a view. Which was nice - I will give them that. There was no phone directory in the room - so did not know how to contact the reception desk from the new room. No direction on how to open the safe that, according to the directions on it, it should have been open to start. Still, No in- room coffee maker. Towel heating bar did not work and the shower/tub was awkward to use as there was no shower curtain - water splashed everywhere. Breakfast waiters were indifferent and certainly didn’t rush to bus tables. If you’re looking for luxury- go to a different hotel.

Great hotel to stay at, from our first phone call to arrange pickup to being dropped back to our car we couldn't ask for more. The pool is a great place to relax and enjoy. Rooms are large and comfortable everything you'll need

Bo Hotel Palazzo is perfectly located right in the center of Poreč. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast on the terrace was a lovely touch, with great food and a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended!
IDEA S — Google review
Old room with limited facilities (no coffee, water boiler, …). Rooms seem a bit overpriced. Friendly personnel (the shuttle service to the parking lot however had a few flaws, we waited for more than 30 minutes…), very good breakfast! Very good location.
Jorden B — Google review
Beautiful small and quiet hotel. Nothing g too much trouble for the staff. Great breakfast with wide range of choices. Plenty of space around the pool each day with nice sunbeds. Ideally placed to discover all beautiful Porec has.
Lisa M — Google review
Perfect location next to the sea and old town. Perfect sunset views. V comfy beds and spacious room. Parking is offsite and cheap at 10euro a day and free transfer whenever. I think rooms have been renovated since website photos. Pic of our room attached for reference.

Best location in porec . Large clean rooms with great facilities 3m from the sea edge. Cannot fault this hotel. So close to all that you wish to see

Thank you for a wonderful holiday. All the staff are very nice, helpful and friendly. We were delighted with the level of service, cleanliness and amenities of the hotel as well as the beautifully maintained surroundings. Special thanks to the team of cooks:) We will definitely recommend it and we will be happy to come back. Jana, Eva, Martina

Overall, my time at the Valamar was pleasant! The breakfast & dinner spreads were amazing. So many options. In my entire one-month trip in Croatia, no hotel's food offerings ever surpassed this. The hotel rooms were average, and looked how I expected them to. The balconies with drying racks are a nice touch. The only odd thing about the room was the bathroom, where it looked the most dated. The showers looked like a time machine from a movie. It still functioned, just made the place seem older when everything outside of the room looks more updated. The location is not in the city center; however, that did not bother me at all. The walk takes about 20-minutes and can be all along the coast. Absolutely beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone!
Hayley H — Google review
I visited the fitness area in this hotel because all other places to work out on Sundays were closed. A great alternative to a big fitness club. Yes, fewer machines and less space, but there’s a big plus — air conditioning! And the gym is open on Sundays! All things considered, the price and parking make it an excellent choice. And as a bonus — the beach is within walking distance! Wishing everyone enjoyable workouts with no injuries!

We had a nice time in Diamant Hotel in Oktober. Sea is a 5-10min walk away, but still pretty ok. Path is good for kids with scooters etc
Jjaritsch — Google review
We always have a unique experience at this hotel. The people are so friendly and make guests feel better than at home, which is of great value to me. Above all, the experience at the hotel restaurant: good, varied food, and the most remarkable thing of all is the service from its staff, especially that of our favorite waiter, Matko. We will definitely return in the coming years.
Claudio F — Google review
Upon arrival, there was a minor issue with the accommodation we had originally booked. In the end, the shift manager, Mr. Ivan Gostić, kindly offered us a different type of accommodation, which exceeded our expectations. We are truly grateful to him for this approach. The hotel is well-equipped, clean, and in a great location. There are plenty of activities for children. Breakfast was truly excellent.
Jan D — Google review
Amazing hotel services, great location, a bit old rooms and amazing staff. I have to highlight Almir - our waiter - he was simply amazing, he made our time here really amazing and made us feel special. Always reserved table for us with the kids and always helped us be comfortable. The location is great, beach is ~5 min walk from the hotel, you can find shades easily. The hotel services are great as well, there are a tons of kinds program. the rooms are old, but functioning. Overall we had a great time!
Balázs O — Google review
Having completed 2 weeks at the hotel the experience has been varied. As there was a wrestling tournament on all the time we were there, there were dozens of wrestling sportsmen walking around and in the dining areas. This changes the holiday atmosphere to a sports camp feel particularly in the inside dining area which is noisy and busy. The saving grace were the outside table clothed tables in the undercover area served by 2 brilliant waiters. The smoking area in the outside left terrace by the dining tables is such that one smoker can pollute the whole terrace with the tobacco smell which totally takes away the enjoyable dining experience. The food is very good particularly the salad and vegetables. People piling there plates high with food slows down the service and if children are around getting bumped can be a problem. Evening entertainment was available with very good quality duos singing songs mainly from British bands Beatles, Police Dire Straits. However the performance area is in the foyer at the side of the staircase with a constant flow of guests, wrestlers poeoplevin bath robes walking past . Only 12 close seats able to view properly and hear properly. So very poor. Childrens entertainment and rooms very good.

Hotel
Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna is a refined hotel situated in the stunning area of Plava Laguna. It offers well-appointed rooms and suites, some with picturesque sea views, and includes breakfast and dinner in the room rate. The hotel features three restaurants, a delightful spa with saunas and hot tubs, as well as both indoor and outdoor pools. Additionally, there is a charming park with playgrounds for children and entertainment for adults.
It is actually an amazing hotel, the food is amazing, the rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. The crew members are nice but some of them give you the ugly look like they don’t want to be there. I love the pool it is amazing i was there all the time.

Our experience with friends. Check-in: We both reservated superior room 1 month before. We arrived at the location and they told us due to the conference the rooms we reservated are fully booked. Seems like conference people have priority even if we booked way ahead. I feel this to be terrible performance for such class hotel, they should just tell the people that superior rooms are all booked and they should give THEM the classic rooms instead. They offered some kind of compensation: we could do late checkout instead of 12:00 we could checkout at 18:00, that's all. As they downgraded our room from park view we received a room with very bad view, if you can call that a view at all. Dinner: Under average, for premium hotel even worse. I haven't eaten worse sushi anywhere, better they remove it completely. Even the LIDL sushi is way better than. Fruit like watermelon and melon tereible. People were leaving watermelon on their plates because it was too ripe you could notice by slimy dark red surfaces, tasted even worse. Melon someone does not know how to cut it, it was hard as a raw potato. No free drinks, even no free water. 0,2L juice costs nearly 4,30€, 1L water 4,80€. Overpriced drinks at dinner because you can get a cocktail in pool for 6,40€. Other 3 star hotels that are half price per night offer free drinks, free beer and free wine at dinner. Breakfast: Overall good. Not many food with chicken if any at all. At least here you get free coffee, milk, hot water and different kind of juice. The juice is just syrup mixed with water. I think they don't use the mesh filter on their faucets because there were tiny stones on the bottom of the glass. Pool: They are OK. It says one of the outside pools should be heated, which it was on the first day. Next day it was cold. Overall, not exactly good performance. The rooms were great.

Nice hotel with regards to public areas. Rooms quite small with carpet on the floor which must be replaced. Unfortunately, the food is far from being tasty but good choice.

I’d like to highlight Anya, who leads the water aerobics sessions at Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna. She is an incredibly positive and energetic person who creates a friendly atmosphere from the very first minutes and easily connects with the hotel guests. The classes are fun and enjoyable, thanks to her openness and great communication skills.
Marjana — Google review
We stayed at Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna in July 2025. First, I’d like to acknowledge the many positives: The hotel itself is visually impressive, with a welcoming entrance, modern and stylish lobby and well maintained facilities. The outdoor pool area is large and beautiful, and the beach access is lovely. There's also a heated indoor pool, which is great on rainy days. The buffet meals, both at breakfast and dinner, were generally good with a rich variety, fresh ingredients and good taste overall. However, the desserts were disappointing: industrial, low quality and not up to the level expected with the other food quality. Unfortunately, the room experience and service significantly detracted from our stay. We were initially assigned room 128, which felt like one of the worst located rooms in the hotel. It was very small for three people, and once the extra bed was there, there was barely space to move. The balcony faced a roof (first floor) with no view at all. Most concerning there was a bee or wasp nest directly on the balcony wall and we couldn't open the balcony door and of course not sit outside. When I asked reception to change rooms, I was told no alternatives were available. Only after the housekeeper came, saw the problem with the bees and confirmed nothing could be done, were we suddenly offered another room (167). This felt frustrating and frankly disrespectful as if my complaint wasn’t taken seriously until someone on staff saw it themselves. In the new room, the bed for our teenage son (14.5 years old) was a fold out sofa bed, which was uncomfortable and not suitable for someone his size and age. Also, I was surprised to find that There was no electric kettle or coffee/tea set in the room something expected even in basic 4-star hotels. There wasn’t even a complimentary bottle of water upon arrival, which would be a small but appreciated gesture after a long journey. After raising our concerns, we were offered a late check-out until 6:00 PM, but this wasn’t helpful for us as we had a long drive back to Italy and had to leave early anyway. While we appreciated the gesture, it didn’t truly address the core issues we experienced. Overall, we felt that the experience did not match the price we paid. Considering the quality of the room and the service. the value for money was not adequate
Nesi F — Google review
I would like to give special thanks to Ivan, who takes care of guests during breakfast and dinner at Hotel Parentium. He is incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile!
Alena F — Google review
Everything was excellent-cleanliness, location near beach, staff, mattresses etc- EXCEPT THE FOOD. All the prepared dishes were swimming in oil- not olive oil or any good oil - and doused with way too much salt!
Lauren L — Google review
The beach bar, which is part of the hotel, I noticed that certain guests occupy the chairs for the entire day. They leave their towels on them and go swimming. It is obvious that these are friends and relatives of the beach bar staff and lifeguards. Unfortunately, this prevents us from sitting down to have a coffee, and it results in a loss for the hotel, which is losing profit due to the irresponsible behavior of its employees.

The Valamar Parentino Hotel is a refined property located near the beautiful pebbly Val Parentino Family Beach and just a short walk from the old town of Porec. It's an ideal choice for families seeking an active and enjoyable holiday. The hotel offers superbly equipped children's playrooms, activity pools, and water toys for kids, while adults can relax at the Sun & Spa Wellness center or on sun loungers by the sea.
Our family had a great time at Valamar Parentino. It was very clean and updated. A/C in rooms and common spaces worked perfectly! All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Spa staff went above and beyond with finding us a dentist on a holiday when all dentists seemed to be closed. Gaming room was modern and fun with very friendly and helpful staff. Rudolf was very friendly in the gaming room and made sure my daughter had a great time gaming.
M C — Google review
Fantastic hotel. Cannot fault it. Staff are brilliant, the location is great and there is loads for kids to do. There is lots of variety in terms of food and it is of a great quality. The rooms are very spacious and have everything we needed. Never previously been on a family holiday to Croatia but we will definitely be back and will be coming back to this hotel.
Mark L — Google review
A sumptuous experience. Immaculately clean and low key stylish, the staff are all polite and efficient, the food is truly excellent. And of course the beach front location minutes from Poreč town is ideal. We are loving our stay in this very excellent resort.
Kirsten G — Google review
We stayed at this beautiful 4-star hotel and were delighted in every way. The food was outstanding – breakfast and dinner were rich, varied, and so delicious that we couldn’t wait for the next meal. The staff were exceptionally friendly, always smiling and ready to help in any situation, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was spotlessly clean, both the rooms and the pools, and the excellent maintenance was visible at every step. We were especially impressed by the facilities for children – programs and activities suited for all ages, diverse and very entertaining, so even our little ones had a fantastic time. We enjoyed every moment and will definitely be coming back again next summer!
Anel S — Google review
We had an absolutely magical time with my family there. The food was second to none (I ate amounts that are… not reasonable 🙂), the staff were all super nice, and they put on an amazing show every night for the Maro Disco events. It was really nice to see that the dancers really enjoyed being on stage. Give them a raise! I honestly can’t say a single bad thing about it - perhaps the pools were a bit colder than I’d like, but still perfectly fine. There was also show from a band called Passionarte, which was...stunning would be an understatement. They also danced with my daughter - thank you so much, hugely appreciated! This was an unforgettable vacation.
Two P — Google review
Amazing place to stay, especially if you have kids (indoor & Outdoor playgrounds, swimming pools etc..). The staff were very friendly, there is a wide variety of food for breakfast and dinner buffets. Excellent location. Will definitely come back :)
Dalia O — Google review
The hotel is very good. Though the rooms are not very comfortable. We had 2 different styled family suits and they both were strange and not very spacious/comfortable. The food is amazing, swimming pools clean, big, super nice. Animation was ok.
N S — Google review
Beautiful Hotel in a great location, immaculate rooms and excellent food. Entertainmentstarts really good too. Pool areas clean and well maintained. Would be five stars apart from the ridiculous sun bed hogging and reservations which meant every day was a trial. Also this is a very kid focused hotel, we brought kids but parental supervision was just non existent. It was chaos sometimes.

Hotel Molindrio Plava Laguna is an upscale hotel in Istria, offering a relaxing spa with sauna and wellness facilities. The hotel provides good accommodation with rooms and suites, some featuring sea views, and includes breakfast and dinner in the price. Guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor pools as well as entertainment for both kids and adults. The beach nearby is well-maintained with crystal clear waters, while the sports center offers various activities including water skiing.
The hotel is nice, the price is right, and the surroundings are very pleasant for an active vacation. However, the bread/rolls/bagels/pastries are stale. This spoils the breakfast, forcing you to resort to bubbly🍾 to get rid of the unpleasant taste.😅🤣
Zavisa S — Google review
The hotel is overall nice. The spa is quite small, also the rooms are not so big and the style is quite old. Food is nice and very efficient service. Pools outside are clean and very comfortable, also they give you clean towels every time you go there take a bath.
Mattia B — Google review
The rooms are very shabby and old, horrible and outdated furniture, not well equipped. The worst: the room was dirty. Black long hair on the bathtub, dirty rug. The food is very basic and not very good. Staff only borderline helpful, they don't make any effort. The sauna is only open from 11 AM to 8 PM (not later). All in all, I cannot recommend this hotel. It definitely does not deserve a 4 star category.
Aleksandar K — Google review
Nothing special. Typical summer type 4* hotel. It's a big hotel and things run smoothly. However, for the price we paid, we expected a bit better room (one light wasn't working) and at least free parking. Restaurant was great with variety of food and soft drinks. Pool is mediocre, for some basic dipping and swimming it's ok, but if you want a lane to swim in, forget it. Plus pool bottom and sides are all in white color, making it impossible to determine pool edges if you're swimming with open eyes or diving. We didnt't have time to go to wellness or gym, so no idea if that's good or not. Also, I cannot understan why were we put in a room on the floor with bunch of kids from some soccer camp. These little guys were extremely noisy during evening hours. Hotel staff should have known better and place family with small children away from little noisy footballers, after all they asked children age during booking procedure.
Damir L — Google review
The rooms are a bit old-fashioned and the carpet could be cleaner, but the staff is very kind and welcoming. The dining experience is simple, like a canteen, but the surroundings are tidy and beautiful, creating a pleasant atmosphere overall.
G R — Google review
Ahhh, I don’t know where to begin. Staff are friendly, and the location is good, but that’s the only good thing about this hotel. We paid $530 for two nights; the rooms are old with stains on the carpet. I understand that the hotel might be more expensive because of the “season,” but at least ensure the A/C is working 🙂. Our first room was at 24 (which was hot for us), and when we told the desk it was hot, they said they would fix it. They couldn’t, so they had to switch us to another room, the same temperature (24). If I pay $530 for two nights, I expect the A/C to work. Breakfast and dinner are average; they have variety, but are not good. And they charge for parking, if you're staying at the hotel it should be FREE.
Jaquelin V — Google review
Hotel itself is nice, the location is good BUT the “indoor” swimming pool is not an indoor swimming pool because it’s inside a literall tent , the water is cold, no toilets there, no changing rooms only the pop-up tents for changing. They offer “wellness centre” but it’s without reservations and we tried 6 times but we never managed to get a place. It’s not pleasant that the personal there is like “well i can not help i only work here”. The receptionists behaviour in wellness centre was like their service : bad. The food is not ok. The bread is dry, cookies old, pasta has a crust on it.. i don’t want to continue. They will never see us again here.
Katja — Google review
There were little scratches on the walls but everything else in room was very good. Breakfast was amazing and dinner was OK. We haven't swam in the sea but it was little bit dirty. There was a gym and pool and both were good. Overall like 7.1 out of 10.

Garden Suites Park Plava Laguna is a contemporary hotel located in the Park Resort complex, just 100 meters from the beach. The completely renovated family resort offers air-conditioned accommodations set in a Mediterranean park with free WiFi access. Guests can enjoy outdoor swimming pools, restaurants, bars serving Mediterranean and international cuisine, as well as various sports and entertainment facilities within the complex. The modernly furnished suites feature equipped terraces, flat-screen TVs, minibars, and safes.
This is an outstanding beach resort in Istria, always a pleasure to return. Their focus is on quality, kids, cleanliness and sports. The staff is always at guests' service. They put a lot of effort in the environment (e.g. garden maintainance and constant cleaning). Food variety is there, staff is kind and helpful. Very nice quality-price ratio. More than recommended. PS: hint: in low season it is also nice and Porec is then less crowded.

Guys, it could be more clean out of the high season for sure! Otherwise it's close to the town, and it's nice amongst usual hotels, but we had half board (bf and dinner), and I can tell you, quality of food could be a way better...so please!

Very nice territory. Clean, nice, spacious room (451) with big balcony. Funny outdoor pool for kids, not heated in September. Kids club just till Septemb 14. Playground. Closed to the beach. Not so many places for parking. Drinks included with dinner, tea possible in the evening! Wifi ok. You can use the territory after check out! Very much people, so very noisy on dinner. Food could be a little bit better. Early check out at 10am. For our family for 1 night it was really good.

Hotel Park Plava Laguna is a casual beach hotel located in Porec, offering understated accommodations and multiple outdoor pools. The hotel features two restaurants and recreational amenities including outdoor tennis courts and a seasonal outdoor pool.
Amazing hotel for families with children - almost everyone there was a family or group with children so I probably wouldn’t recommend if you were an adult only group looking for some relaxation! Pool areas amazing, kids splash pool lots of fun. Staff so friendly. Food at breakfast and dinner seemed really fresh, lots of options which is just perfect with young children. Room was clean and spacious. Location was excellent, close to a family sandy beach and around a 30 min walk to Porec which was a beautiful town. This was our first visit to Croatia and we fell in love with it! This hotel was certainly a big part of that, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to families.

Was a lovely short break. We were pretty much the only English people there but wasn't an issue for us. Food was always pretty good in general. Lots of small restaurants close by. Seemed to be quite a lot of younger children there but again wasn't an issue

This hotel is simply perfect. Very clean rooms - everyday were cleaned. Amazing food for Breakfast and Dinner with a lot of choices. Pools clean, hot and nice for everyone. I only could recommend for families this Hotel.

This was our 5th time in Porec area, but our first visit to this hotel. We visited 13th September, just at the turn of the season and found the hotel lovely and quiet. Finding a sunbed was never an issue. Towels handed out whenever requested of pool attendant. No sunbed standoffs at dawn. The wellness spa is a must. A lovely relaxing area and some amazing treatments to be had. Rooms:- we were room 136 (family room) looking straight over relaxing pool. It was a perfect size for two, space and facilities. Lovely bathroom. Room safe at no extra charge. I reckon that our cleaner was trained by ninjas…..our room was left “lived in”…..then it was sparkling….Magic! Food:- Breakfast was good, if not just a bit samey. Evening meal was good, a vast variety. My only issue was the layout/organisation, and other guests. Nobody understands patience and queuing. That said, there are a number of bars and restaurants very close by, with very reasonably price and quality food. Area:- Porec town centre is only a gentle 20min stroll along the coastal walk or a 5min land train ride for €2.50ea with loads of shops, cafes and my favourite pastime…..people watching. As I said…..this was our 1st visit…..it won’t be our last.

We had a very great time. Room was very clean, very big and have great view. The whole complex is really nice. Here you have heated pool, pool with slides, pool for kids, many playgrounds, walking area, great bars near sea,.. food is really delicious. You have many many choices to eat. Overall we will go again definitly.

We booked a Superior Room with a balcony and sea view directly through the hotel’s website. Instead, we were given a disabled-access room on the ground floor with a view of the tennis courts, with the sea barely visible from the far corner of the terrace. The hotel was clearly not at full capacity. The room was completely unsuitable — the sink was far too low and the toilet far too high, clearly designed for disabled guests, which we are not. It made us feel uncomfortable and out of place. On the positive side, the room was clean and tidy, and the outdoor pool was heated. The hotel was mostly occupied by groups and families with children. The buffet food was average. Unfortunately, I would not return.

I had a very bad experience at this hotel. My friend left his phone in the lobby for just a few minutes, and when we returned, we found out it had been stolen by another guest. The reception staff did not cooperate at all and refused to let us see the security footage—first saying that only the police could view it. After the police arrived, they suddenly claimed that the indoor cameras were not working. After several trips to the police station, the hotel falsely stated that they had sent the footage to the police. As a result, we lost valuable time, the thief was able to check out, and we only discovered the truth on our last day. Unfortunately, the police also provided little support.

I stayed at this hotel in August 2025, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing due to a theft incident. My iPhone 16 Pro Max (256GB) was stolen from the hotel lobby while I briefly left it unattended on a sofa. Despite reporting the theft immediately to the reception, I was told they had no access to the security cameras. When the police arrived, the hotel claimed the cameras were either not working or just decorative. However, I later found out the cameras were actually functioning, but the hotel delayed providing footage to the authorities and gave conflicting information throughout. Due to this negligence and poor cooperation, the thieves were able to leave the hotel and escape without being caught. The hotel’s security was very poor. Outsiders were allowed to use the pool and would leave the hotel wrapped only in towels without any supervision. Also, during breakfast and dinner times, anyone from outside could enter the hotel through doors near the park and the children’s play area. This whole situation was stressful and disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel if you care about the safety of your belongings.

Resort hotel
Isabella Island Resort, Valamar Collection is a modern and spacious hotel located on the serene island of Sveti Nikola, just a short boat ride away from Porec. Surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation and pristine Adriatic waters, the resort offers various accommodation options including hotel rooms, villas, V-Level villas, suites and apartments. Guests can enjoy three pools with seawater and freshwater options, seven individually themed beaches, a sports center and a spa complex.
I honestly couldn’t fault the Valamar Isabella Island Resort. We have just spent 5 days all inclusive there as a family with two young children. The island is beautiful and the children’s facilities are amazing (why we chose this hotel in the first place). There are many indoor and outdoor play spaces for children of all ages, including a handy playroom accessible from the dining area which really helped our meal times. The maro club building is impressive with several different rooms with toys, space for activities (we didn’t join any of the organised activities but they looked fun) and a great soft play. We didn’t go in all of the pools as our children are very young and can’t swim but the baby pool was heated and kept them entertained for hours. We all enjoyed the food and drinks provision - even being vegetarian there was plenty of options and variety. I was surprised with how much food was on offer. Also With our uk agency package we had great selection of cocktails and spirits to chose from. But what really makes this place exceptional is the staff. Every single staff member we encountered greeted us instantly with warmth and professionalism. They went out of their way to help us, consistently bringing our Highchairs to us at dinner, offering to drive us and our bags around, immediately showing us alternative rooms and switching us without question when we were struggling to manage the hill and balcony with our additional needs daughter, creating a lovely atmosphere in the maro club where the staff are excellent with the children. It really stood out to me that we felt so welcome and I was touched that staff members seemed to personally care about providing guests with a positive experience. I hope we can return in the future. Thank you so much.

Amazing location. A great free ferry service running every 15-30 minutes from dawn till late evening. Plenty of great restaurants along the harbour in Porec. However not quite the 4-5 stars hotel that we anticipated. Air con wasn't working for the whole visit (late May and temperatures rising) - apparently the whole hotel was still in "heating mode". Reception desk not overly helpful on a number of issues. We booked all inclusive and bar staff didn't seem to know what drinks/cocktails that actually included.
Adam C — Google review
Two years ago I gave this hotel 5 out of 5 stars on Google, but now I have to update my review. Today it deserves only 2, or at best 3 stars. We have stayed at Hotel Isabella several times, but unfortunately, in recent years the quality has gone down while the prices have gone up significantly. Compared to the earlier half-board, all-inclusive has been added, but the offer is very limited and mostly the same every day. Guests naturally expect a higher level of service with all-inclusive, but this is simply not the case here. The food is repetitive and lacks variety or creativity. In the end, we often ate just pizza and pasta. There are hardly any proper meals for children, soups were sometimes too salty, and seafood was almost completely missing, even though this is exactly what many guests look forward to at the seaside. Fish was usually available, but always in the same form, with no real innovation. When we spoke with other parents, they more or less confirmed the same experience. In June the food selection was actually wider than in August, even though the August stay was more expensive, which makes little sense. Another unpleasant surprise was parking. The hotel automatically charged us for parking even though we didn’t use their parking lot at all. We only stayed one night but were charged for the entire stay. If the guest doesn’t notice, they end up paying unnecessarily. There was absolutely no apology from the hotel for the incorrect parking charge. This approach does not feel professional. We were also disappointed by repeated small issues that never got fixed, for example, the absence of children’s spoons at the tables. I mentioned this several times over the years, but nothing changed. This shows that the hotel does not really listen to its clients. The previous manager always tried to communicate with guests and keep the hotel at a good standard, but since then the quality has clearly gone down. June was already worse than the previous year, and August was even worse. I believe that if the previous manager were still in charge, the level of service would be much higher. One more thing that feels questionable is the hotel’s Google rating. For Isabella it shows 4.8 (96%), while on Booking.com it is 8.5 (85%). The reviews on Booking sound realistic, but the overly positive Google reviews simply don’t reflect the actual experience. The hotel impressed us on our first stays, but nothing has improved since then. After our June holiday we already considered choosing another place, and we only returned in August because we booked last minute. Unless the services improve, we will most likely stay elsewhere next time.

Unfortunately only giving 2 stars for this holiday. When we came in September 2023 I was raving about this hotel- from the location to the staff and the accommodation. Everytime someone asked me about this hotel it was always a 10/10. Unfortunately fast forward to September 2025, when we was looking forward to arriving. To find out that the hotel has been changed from half board to all inclusive. Hotel was booked in June 2024, all inclusive started May 2025. When we arrived on the 9th September and was booking in - we got asked if we had been before, when we said yes, the member of staff never mentioned anything about the changes that was disappointment no. 1. When we asked about getting something to eat as we had been up since 3 am thinking we could get at the pool bar to be told bluntly that NO we had to go back over to the mainland. Disappointment no. 2. We could upgrade our accommodation which we first booked the hotel room but we got the villa, so we could upgrade the room but not the half board to all inclusive. Get to our villa, the cleanliness has gone down hill. Food is not fantastic, it’s all rushed going from breakfast to lunch, to snacks to tea. Some members of staff are helpful and will come and talk to you, a lot wont give you the time of day. When it used to be half board, if you got a drink at the pool bar the staff would come and speak to you and ask about your holiday etc. For a company that is promoting helping the environment, not now with all the paper cups, paper plates. I am not recommending this hotel.
Chris S — Google review
The location is great, rooms and service are what you would expect at this price. But I paid for all inclusive and was very disappointed 😞. We met guests who had paid for half board and had the same options us us, but without the midday meal. There was only beer and wine included in the package. Cocktails were all priced considerably higher as in Poreč. The food was repetitive (you can interpret that away way you like and it would be correct). Also, there was a total lack of lifeguards and liferings by the beaches and swimming areas. I could not in all honesty recommend this resort until they sort out the food.
Ian M — Google review
We had a lovely holiday here. The food was plentiful and excellent; beaches, pools and slides kept everyone occupied for a week. We didn't even get to most of the organised activities.
Andreas K — Google review
The island of Sveti Nikola on which the Isabella Island Resort is based is spectacularly beautiful with some amazing views. The hotel itself is modern with good rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. The ferry to the attractive town of Poreč works very well and always on time. However, there are some issues which potential guests should be aware of: The Tui description of the resort can be misleading with many of the limitations confined to the small print. The TUI transfers were not well organised; coaches have to drop you at the bus station, a 10-to-15-minute walk away from the ferry. Minibuses were supposed to be organised but we had to wait 40 minutes with our suitcases for this to happen. The Tui rep should have pre ordered them before the coach arrived at the bus station. Similarly on the return the TUI rep who arranged to meet everyone off the ferry did not arrive and there was a mad scramble for a minibus with many forced to walk. The all-inclusive drinks package does not work well. During our visit in early September only the lobby bar was available to serve the limited all inclusive drinks, the pool bar having closed from 1st September. The drinks package was confusing because if you requested a drink with a zero-sugar mixer it was either unavailable (tonic water) or you were charged extra (sugar free cola). No other bars on the island were included in the all-inclusive drinks package. As the pool bar was closed all drinks had to be obtained from the lobby bar which had limited re-usable plastic glasses (I understand that glass is inappropriate around a pool and I am not advocating single use plastics) but a gin and tonic in a cardboard coffee cup is not what I expect from a 4-star hotel. The majority of the guests were European, mainly German, and included a significant number of smokers. There were no designated smoking areas so it was difficult to avoid the smoke. Also, as European children do not return to school until mid-September there were many kids, this is primarily a family resort! There appeared to be many activities for kids but limited for adults. There was no real adult only areas except a small part of the self-service restaurant, The Isola restaurant, and even then, kids cut through to exit the dining room. The Isola restaurant food is if reasonable quality but very repetitive with a considerable lack of choice; 1 soup each day chicken or beef on alternate days. The salads are very limited in choice; there is only 1 cheese. No specialities. If you like pizza, pasta and chips you will be fine. Also, dishes are not regularly topped up further limiting the choices. There are no other restaurants available on the all-inclusive package. The main activity pool can be very full of kids, the infinity pool, a short uphill walk is much nicer but is not adults only and many beds are reserved for v guests and no all-inclusive drinks available. The lounge area in the hotel, between reception and the lobby bar is quite comfortable, however with table football and pool tables placed in the middle it is not a relaxing place to sit Day guests may visit the island for a few euros and they appear to take advantage of the hotel amenities, including the pool, and can overcrowd the ferry. The holiday was more expensive than many all-inclusive hotels in Europe but did not deliver good value This is the first year the hotel has offered all-inclusive and the management admit that they are still learning. The management acknowledged the shortfalls and were very generous to us and offered us an upgraded package, hopefully next year many things will improve.
David K — Google review
We stayed here last year and had an absolutely amazing time. We don’t often return to the same resort as a family but after much deliberation decided we loved it that much we wanted to return to explore more of the mainland and decided to pay the increased prices. Last year, it was half board and the food was amazing, with the option to dine in the evening in Oliva and a sunset BBQ. This year with the resort going all inclusive, oliva closes on an evening and there is no sunset BBQ. The buffet is extremely repetitive and the food not to the standard we had last year. The UK drinks package, only available at one bar, and the staff lacking any service or knowledge of what is included. Even have to pay for additional coffee capsules to use in the hotel room. We’ve found ourselves eating on the mainland or having a paid for meal in Oliva during the day because a 10 day holiday with the only options of pizza, pasta or a variation of grilled fish for both lunch and dinner was not the experience we were expecting. Tried to upgrade to V-level for some variation but the hotel is full, so mainland dining for the remainder of the holiday it is. Seems the focus has shifted to the new hotel being built. Such a shame as we thought last year we found a real gem, Porec is so beautiful but we won’t return to this hotel again.

Guests can indulge in the full-service spa, complete with a sauna and spa tub. The hotel also features a restaurant and bar, where visitors can enjoy delicious meals and refreshing drinks. Additionally, the concierge service is available to assist with any needs or travel arrangements.
The only disadvantage is the disco bar on the other side of the street, very loud on Saturdays. Otherwise, the hotel is perfect, with spacious and clean rooms, hearty breakfests, and perfect location😁

Magnificent Hotel Mauro. This delightful Boutique Hotel was exceptional from the moment we stepped through the door. We received such a warm and inviting welcome from the receptionist AnnaMaria. What an asset she is to this hotel. With its prime position on the waterfront this gorgeous hotel was perfect in every way. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt at home. The rooms are exceptional, the beds and bedding and towels were absolutely 5 Star. The breakfast was incredibly sumptuous and abundant, the quality was outstanding. We have already been telling our friends and family, this is the perfect place to stay in beautiful Porec.

We stayed for 1 night at Hotel Mauro as part of a longer visit to Croatia & Slovenia. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mauro and felt the breakfast was excellent and rooms very modern and clean. Sadly our room had no hot water, we were moved rooms after asking reception if they had other rooms available. We found the parking to be quite confusing as it was a park and ride with another hotel into the town centre. Whilst the rooms were in good condition, the bathrooms needed better privacy glass, as you could easily see in / out of the windows whilst using the bathroom which wasn’t ideal.

If you are a lover of boutique hotels, this one's an absolute treat. The decor, furnishings and finishings are perfect. The building is beautifully maintained and cared for on a daily basis. The location simply could not be better, with direct views onto the harbour and across to the Isabella Island Resort: From room to the island ferry is about 5 minutes. Three things that set this hotel apart from the crowd: 1) The breakfasts. The buffet is excellent, and if you don't see what you want, just ask and the team will probably conjure it up for you if they possibly can. 2) The terrace. It's the focal point of the hotel, and brilliant for people-watching in a town that makes people-watching so worthwhile, at any time of day or night. 3) The staff. They were/are unfailing helpful: The epitome of the difference between 'Can I help you?' versus 'How can I help you?' So, overall, an unreserved recommendation. The best room? Ours - 107.

The hotel features two private beaches, including one on the beautiful island of Sveti Nikola accessible by free boats for guests. Additionally, it provides easy access to major attractions such as Decumanus Street and Euphrasian Basilica.
We had a lovely weekend stay. Breakfast had a great selection and was tasty. Service from the breakfast staff was a little odd and distant at times but not rude or anything. Just odd. Once we had been down a few times coffees where offered promptly! Brunch was also included which was great for us. Room was great size - bed super comfy pillows very small! But more in the wardrobe! Bathroom clean and shower over bath. All worked well and clean. Lovely split balcony onto the harbour. Staff were super helpful and being able to use another hotels pool was a great idea and relaxing. Super place recommend a stay here.

We stayed in Villa Ulixes which is a new annex of the hotel about 200 m away from the hotel and opened just some time ago. Hotel Riviera is a bit older,so I can recommend to choose Villa Ulixes. Rooms are nice, new, fresh, spacious. Our windows faced main crowdy street, but due to the good isolation it was ok. Breakfast are good, nice choice and brunch aswell. Very tasty. Coffee for breakfast is prepared by barista,no machines👍 transport from and to parking by hotel's taxi for free. Boat to island also for free. Hotel has also a small gym on the highest floor, not very good equiped, but ok. Staff nice, especially ladies preparing food in the restaurant. This Valamar hotel has the best pancakes we ever had in Valamar hotels around Croatia ( soft, tasty. The chef should share the recipe with other Valamar hotels). The only thing which could work better is table service during breakfast, the waiters are going around, but not taking dirty dishes from table, you must ask them sometimes.

Valamar offers excellent service all around – from the food to the rooms and the front desk. We had a boat included that took us to the island just across the water, along with both breakfast and brunch. We also had an issue with our room key cards, and the staff solved it quickly and without any hassle. A truly great experience!

Super friendly stuff. Great location! Breakfast is great. I’m hard to please when it comes to espresso…they make a great one. When you stay in this hotel, you can go to the island to swim/beach day…fantastic setup. I prefer to stay in the city…and during the day to go at the beach. Location is perfect. Hotel is right on the waterfront…we loved it. We’ll be back.

Restaurant staff, food quality and variety all excellent. Location of hotel is good with restaurants nearby. We had a room with a balcony and sea view which was good. We had paid for a superior room with seaview. The room (106) was very small and certainly smaller than most standard rooms I have stayed in UK and Europe.

We spent a night at this waterfront hotel in Poreč’s old town and really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, right in the heart of things. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast buffet was surprisingly generous—borderline impressive for a 4-star hotel. The rooms and overall condition of the hotel were well maintained. A solid choice for a short stay.

Great check in experience, location, and service! The breakfast and brunch buffets are plentiful and delicious. The view from the waterfront room in the new Villa Ulixes is amazing, although the room is a little smaller than expected. If you stay in the Ulixes you do have to walk to the other hotel for breakfast, but it’s not too far and they shuttle you and your luggage upon checkin.

Stayed at Villa Ulixes. Absolutely loved it!! Clean, modern, and AC worked well. No elevator and you have to bring luggage down cobble stone streets do keep that in mind. I would 100% stay again. Also stay on street side and not the water view unless you want to hear very loud music at night while trying to sleep

Very average hotel aimed at the group market, but awful value for money. Service was ok, bedroom was large, but with 2 single beds pushed together. Bathroom was small. Pool complex is indoors (why would you have an indoor pool when it’s 30C outside most of the year). Breakfast choice was atrocious. Cereal was basically cornflakes and Rice Bubbles. Coffee was effectively filter only out of a machine. Yogurt was some sort of manufactured goo that didn’t need refrigeration. Not sure how they got 4*, I would rate the place 2*. The best thing going for the hotel is its location, which is close to town and beach. We have moved up the road to another hotel, which is so far and away better than Flores at lower cost, with superb service, incredible breakfast and outdoor pool, which shows how poor value Flores is.

The only thing that keeps this hotel still open is Location! This is a classical touristic Croatian scam! Where to begin? First of all This is NOT I repeat It is NOT a 4 star!!Hardly even a 3 star! The whole hotel is dirty, smelly esp carpets which are at least 20 yrs old! They upgraded a rooms a lil bit with some furniture but when you look under the surface, it’s sickening to the stomach. Breakfast is okay.Hardly. The staff? Well I guess professionalism and some training is a unknown word here!!! Recepction looks like you came to Bulgaria in mid 60’ s. The tall recepcionist with curly dyed red hair always walks with heels cluck cluck like she owns hotel, she is too loud, unprofessional and does not know anything only to yell and bickring about guest making hand gestures like she is slowing traffic. Please go do something else clearly this is not for you! The only normal people at recepction are two girls both wearing glasses ;the skinny redhair with glasses and brunett with glasses also skinny. They are kind and very professional, especially the red one, her communication skills are very good! The girl in the restaurant is also very sweet. The other personal is hm odd. They charge parking 10 euro per day 💁🏼💁🏼 it’s too much for this property! Overall clearly this is not even a 3 stars! Very close to the beach and relatively close to the old town. The rooms are large, the bathroom is very new. The room has only a few plug sockets (the bathroom has none). The hotel is also full of German tourists (who also chatted me up in German in the hallway). The breakfast is very good.

The hotel is in a great location, a few steps from the beach and from the old town too. We went with a big family and had a good time. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast and dinner was delicious too. The kids loved the swimming pool and the jakuzzi.

Location fantastic, 2 minutes to the next beach, 5 Minutes to the lovely old town centre. Set in a pine wood. Rooms are large and clean. Breafast is adequate, not quite 4☆ quality. The staff are very friendly and helpful. For a short stay ok.

Good smaller hotel, with best location in Porec. 50 m to the sea, 3 minutes to the city center. Good dinner, great breakfast. Rooms are clean and big, just the bed is not ok for 2, who want to sleep together as twin bed is moving apart all the time. I would give a huge minus to towels that had really bad smell like cigarettes.

Probably better in winter when you can use the spa facilities and indoor pool (open in summer but not so tempting). Good location close to town and beach with parking. Breakfast was ok but hot dishes not great. Rooms are ok. Unfortunately hotel lacks a bit of character and charm.

The accommodations are air-conditioned and feature classic-style decor with modern amenities, including LCD satellite TVs and free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy the rooftop terrace, whirlpool tub, indoor gym, and sun loungers in the garden. The family-owned property offers a warm and informal atmosphere, providing clean, spacious rooms that exude romance and royalty.
No words and superlatives enough to describe our stay at this amazing family owned and run Villa. Energy of the place is unique, situated near the city in green and peacful oasis. Family is professional but warm and informal at the same time and they make the crown of the place and overall experience. Room was very clean, spacious, romantic and make you feel like a royalty. Facilites around the villa include sauna and jacuzzi, and roof terrace where you can soak the sun and read the book as it is not overcrowded. Just to walk around interior is experience by itself as you can spot many intricate and well thought details. Observe how everything is decorated with taste and emotion. Breakfast at the open under the trees was splendid and is highlight of the stay

A trully beautiful place hidden among the trees Just outside Poreč beside istrian Stonehenge. A mansion built out of istrian Stones, with nicely tendered surroundings. Mystical and magnificient. Roomy and cosy appartments with superb morning breakfast in the garden. Highly recommended though it might get pricy in the high season.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Porec, Hotel Delfin Plava Laguna is a charming and family-friendly destination that perfectly balances comfort and affordability. Just a stone's throw from the beach, this hotel boasts stunning sea views and is surrounded by lush greenery. Guests can enjoy delicious meals at on-site restaurants, relax by the outdoor pool or sip refreshing drinks at the poolside bar.
We were at Hotel Delfin in September and it was a great experience. The hotel wasn’t overcrowded, the staff was friendly, it was fairly clean and the food was good. The beaches were beautiful, there were stones (not sand) but the water was crystal clear. The hotel has only 2 stars so we didn’t expect much, but we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!🙏
Magdaléna P — Google review
The hotel is wonderful. In front of it, there is a spacious beach, and the territory is large and green, with a children’s playground and a big parking lot. The staff are friendly and welcoming. For a 2-star hotel, the buffet was of a very good standard — all the dishes were tasty. The hotel is clean, and housekeeping was done regularly. Special thanks to the reception staff member Krešimir, who was very attentive, explained everything in detail, and did his best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. As other guests have mentioned, the main drawback is the lack of air conditioning in the room, which unfortunately affects the overall rating of the hotel.
Viktorya G — Google review
There is nothing to criticize about the hotel or the service. Since it is a 2* hotel, the price and service correspond. Sufficient size of the rooms, a beach to jump on. Children's playgrounds by the beach in the shade of trees. The area with a children's water world for children's activities is enough. We are still satisfied.
Roman B — Google review
Hotel has very nice forest and recreation areas near it. Rooms are also good, especially considering the fact that most of the time I spent outside. Good pools in the hotel and about 200 meters from sea. Also it had some of the best food I tried in hotels. Very nice experience
Yaroslav B — Google review
We have been disguised how hotel guests "reserve" sunbeds with towels early in the morning and not appear all day long! People with families, who come to enjoy the pool has therefore no place to lie down, because everywhere are empty towels for hours, unoccupied! Hotel manager is not competent and alibistic, hiding for the resort management. Perhaps the management shall look on the other resorts, how they manage such situations and pick some useful ideas to improve the service.

Due to lack of space in bathrooms, the cabin shower is fitted only for max 60kg tourists. We'll never ever come back again. Not recommended
Maryo M — Google review
The rooms are okay; there's no air conditioning, so they're very warm during the day. It's bearable in the evenings. The doors are very thin; in the mornings, there are lots of noisy people. Breakfast is delicious, though the same every day, but it's good and fresh. Dinner is also the same every night; sometimes a little different, but usually the same. Drinks aren't included; they walk around with a cart with drinks; you can only pay in cash. A bottle of water costs around 3 euros, which is okay. The pool is saltwater. The lobby is nice and cold, and you can enjoy a drink. The Wi-Fi is excellent, though.
Milan H — Google review
I arrived at your hotel with little expectations, as i saw the earlier reviews, some were right and some were wrong. When it comes to the rooms, they are small and yes, without air conditioning and not very renovated, but the view was just stunning. When it comes to the food, i was very pleased and very impressed, not just by the taste, but also by the quantity. P.s. i really want to address the management about two cooks that were working on the lines for the buffet table, they were very friendly and very helpful, the young lady that was working explained everything about the food and made my choice easier (i’m not entirely certain but i think her name is Dorotea). And the gentleman that was working with her was highly professional and fast with filling up the food trays so i had a chance to try everything that was recommended. All in all for a food lover, this was a really pleasant experience. Would recommend to anyone and i will be coming back to stay with you in the near future.

The Hotel Albatros Plava Laguna is a contemporary all-inclusive hotel that is located on the park side of the hotel. It features breezy rooms with a buffet dining and 3 pools. The kids' club is also popular at this property.
My wife and I spent 3 days at the hotel. The view was wonderful, the rooms were clean, and the service was great. We would especially like to thank the waitress Eleonora, who was there for all our requests. We are from Austria, and it was a pleasure to have someone who could explain everything about the food in our language. We’ll be coming again next year.

My first time in Croatia with my fiancé to celebrate my birthday. Our arrival at the hotel was magnificent because we loved the view. The staff at the reception was great. He welcomed us with so much love and even offered us a free birthday bottle of wine which was lovely. The staff were all multilingual with English, Italiano and their local language most spoken. Overall good experience, the staff were very friendly. There was good variety in the food. Most was tasty. Hotel is at a great location, right next to the beach. There’s much to do. The drinks were watered down except the beer. It was hard to get pool chairs as people would save them and leave.
Oben A — Google review
We have visited the hotel before and were looking forward to returning. The staff are still very friendly and helpful, and the housekeeper did her best to assist us. Unfortunately, we felt that the overall standard no longer matches the hotel’s four-star rating. The rooms are quite worn and in need of renovation. The pillows were in such poor condition that even the housekeeper apologized, and the shower head was old and should be replaced. Booking a sea-view room does not guarantee that you will actually see the sea – in our case, a park-side room would probably have been quieter and more pleasant. The quality of the food has noticeably declined compared to our stay three years ago – even at the gala dinner. The entertainment program was also much weaker than before. Several of our friends and family members, who are regular guests at Plava Laguna, confirmed that they too have noticed a decline in standards at Hotel Albatros. Overall, we were left with the impression that the quality has dropped significantly in recent years, which is disappointing considering the price. We hope you take this feedback into account, as we would love to return in the future – but only if the standards once again reflect both the price and the four-star rating.

When I've booked this hotel I was a little bit nervous because of the comments online, but when we arrived we have been pleasantly impressed by everything, it is a very nice hotel, beautiful room view, good food and beverage, very nice people at the reception and hotel bar ( maybe just the staff from the pool bar could be more friendly) the pool attendant was also a very friendly and helpful person. I was really impressed about the cleaning team in the morning, big applause for them because they really took care about every corner… The only thing I could say negative is that the coffee doesn’t taste good only at the bar in the morning and unfortunately we had a rainy night and the show was cancelled and was very difficult to find a place to stay and have a drink, so maybe they could improve that point.. But overall I can recommend this hotel and we will for sure come back!

The Hotel Albatros Plava Laguna is located inside of the Plava resort with other 2 & 3 stars hotel, plus a 5 star camp site, all within 2 to 5 minute walk. The staff at the reception, restaurant, snacks bar and kids activity room were all outstanding with top-notch professionalism and strong client focus minded. Few of the drawbacks are: 1. The "suite" that I booked is kind of small for a 4 star hotel standard, however, it was ok for us with one kid. 2. The room was also lacking basic amenities such as: coffee machine, water boiler, tea cup, coffee mug, drinking glass etc 3. In my room #: F343 the W.C flushing water pressure was very low that it cannot flush a simple small piece of toilet paper and we were just only using the W.C to urinate and we have to go to use the main toilet next to the main restaurant where the toilet is flushing well. This issued was reported to the reception but the service personnel informed me that they are unable to fix this low presure issue on the W.C in my room, so with this is mind broght some discomfort on my family and I for the entire duration of our holidays and that is why I give the room 3 stars, which drop my overall rating to 4 stars. 4. The bigger parking lot was about 150-200 meters away from the main building and it was of soft soil and when it rains, its get muddy and it costing less than €3 per day parking. For this parking lot, I will give it a 2 star rating but it the management have it with concrete then, it will get a 4 star rating. The services, staff and location, I give 5 stars rating. The beach is of rocks but the water is clear and clean and there is no sand beach in this area, however, you can still have fun in the sea. Further, If you are a family with two kids, I'll recommend you take the suite which have a separate seating area and a separate bedroom. The sofa bed in the seating area are comfortable and can sleep up to 2 kids comfortably. Finally, there were lots of elderly guests around during the time of my stay, but my family and I didn't mind it at all.

Amazing result with loads of activities included on the full board option. Snack bar a huge plus however drinks are very basic...and food got a bit monotonous. But lots of options. Rooms can definitely do with an upgrade. Having to step into a bath to shower is so 70s. Generally an awesome experience.

We had a wonderful week in here. The animation team truly made our holiday special. Ada and the rest of animation team were amazing. They entertained our kids every day in mini club with crafting and games in pool and in the evening on mini disco with funny mascot Pepi. Our children couldn’t wait to see him every day. The restaurant was also amazing with lot of choices of food for kids and adults. The rooms are a little bit older but very clean and cozy so it was very comfortable to stay there. We will be happy to come back!

The location is perfect – you are never more than 50 meters away from one of the small shady beaches that stretch along the entire peninsula. The entire resort is set within a pine forest. The food is excellent, and the rooms are spotlessly clean.

We have enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the apartments. Great location, surrounded by the sea and beautiful trees. Place is not too busy or loud in comparison with other locations we went to which was great. We have also enjoyed time at the pool and joined aqua sessions (olympics was great fun) with the animation team 👌. Aďa and Šimon did good job. Adding ❤️ from our son who really enjoyed every moment here. & Thank you very much for a lovely Birthday present which we have enjoyed with my wife :) Very nice of you.

We had a pleasant stay at the resort. The grounds are well kept, with ample space for picnic and games, the beaches are not crowded and all services are at hand. We especially enjoyed the animation team from Slovakia. Our son spent the whole day waiting for the evening with Pepi and his minidisco. This was a very welcome and unexpected addition to our already lovely stay.

Everything was just perfect: the location great, the beach beautiful and well maintained, the environment super nice, the food was fantastic, especially the dinner with a lot of tasty things and delicious prepared plates, the staff with special thanks to the Family Kid Club girls, who were taking care of our children with love (special surprise was that one of them was speaking Hungarian). The only little disturbing thing was that our family room 029 was just next to the toilets and the cleaning storage and in the mornings it was a bit noisy, but we were not to many time in the room :)

It's good for a few nights. It really depends if you have kids or not. For kids I think its very nice and you should visit. Great Location and Beaches as well as activities. The restaurant is delicious and good pricing. But the rooms (Bungalow) are very outdated (furniture and bathroom) and some parts are even leaking (boiler in the bathroom and dishwasher ). The windows are very hard to close and defective. The aircon is very old and dusty. Dishwasher tabs are only two provided for a whole week. Overall I recommend coming with kids.

Rubin Sunny Hotel by Valamar is a relaxed hotel with unfussy rooms and beachfront dining. It also has an outdoor pool and a kids' club.
We had an amazing time. The hotel is in excellent location near beaches and surrounded with lots of trees, giving natural shade and keeps heat away. Food was amazing, and having breakfast and lunch gives you freedom to get to Porec or any other close by towns to enjoy dinner at some really amazing restaurants. Stuff was also amazing. They provided a mini bar fridge, something that was missing in the rooms, which is handy when traveling with kids. The only thing that was missing is to have an early morning coffee, but we survived without it :)
Konstantin S — Google review
The room is clean, but not appropriate for modern times. In the bathroom, by the bathtub, the shower curtain looks very ugly (old) and I think the shower rod is about to break (rust). The operator should consider replacing it. The breakfast buffet is large, with lots of choice, but the taste is not great. The lunch buffet is really delicious, with lots of choice for every taste. I can't say much about the service, as I hardly saw it, but the cleaners came very late and you only got towels if you asked for them. For the price, it's great, especially if you hardly stay in the hotel.

Room was nice, like on the pictures. We had problem with just one plug for charging in room, but very nice people fixed that in one hour with extra cabel. It's understanding because Hotel is pretty old and they trying repair but it's going slowly. Lobby, Restaurant very modern, food is perfect! Everyone can find something for themselves. Location very good, close to centar, also you have discounts on beaches.

Good hotel. Everything you need for good vacation. Nice swimming pool. Very close beach with natural tree shadow. City center is close, also by walking. Breakfast and lunch (we had hal board) was very good and with everything you need
Damir B — Google review
So the rooms themselves were a little bit worse for wear, kinda just felt like it needed a bit of tlc. However they did the job and were clean and comfortable and quiet and we didn't spend much time in them anyway. Ours had a safe but no mini fridge, however the tap water is safe to drink so that didn't really matter. And everything else absolutely made up for this! It was half board, breakfast and lunch, and the array of food was amazing. We're both vegetarian but managed to eat really well, though if you're vegan you might struggle a little. The pool was lovely and we always managed to find a sunbed around it. But the best thing about it was the location! Like a minute walk to the local beach (not sandy, like all of the coast in this area) which had deck chairs, a little closed off pool bit for kids and ladders and steps down into the sea. There were also lots of other swim spots all along the coast so if you're wanting to swim in the sea lots this hotel is in the perfect place! There are a couple of restaurants nearby, but it's only a twenty minute walk to Porec town centre and there is also a land train that takes you there that you can catch at the beach. So while maybe not the perfect hotel in itself, it was perfect for what we needed.

Lets do it in English. Check-in: really slow... with apartment bookers only one or max 2 receptionists were dealing (campers were in bigger number I know, but when only ID and booking checking is mandatory before moving into the apartments, the check-in should not take longer than 5minutes per family... unless there is issue with the booking or with the apartment. Maybe the only thing that can counter this is that we have arrived on Saturday, one of the worst possible times someone can arrive, as that is when most new guests arrive... Parking: its a nightmare. There are dedicated parking lots that are occssionally very far away from your apartment. Parking closer to your apartment is not possible, or else you will find an A4 sheet with a P crossed over, which should tell you that you are not parking in the right place. Mind you, our car was not in the way of anyone's and the closest parking lot was full, not to mention the narrow road that lead you to the end of said parking lot. Sure, do not park at the end of a concrete road that is supposed to be a turnaround point but other than that, for 1.2Eurs per day please let people park wherever they can, as long as they are not in the way of anyone or anything major.... Apartment: well... we knew what to expect but we still were severely underprepared for the apartment. First of all, cleaning was not finished by 2pm, we were made to wait another 30-70mins to get the keys. We were after a 9hours ride, this was the only problem that caused a bit impatience on our end. People arriving after us experienced no such issue... Apartments do not have air conditioning so please be mindful of this when booking your dwelling. Also the closeness of the apartments was again not leaving much room for intimacy. We lived across Resort workers, who I believe needed rest but were subjected to various guests throughout the summer; the walls are really thin (ceiling also) and you also had a who can be louder competition if thy neighbour did not like what you were listening to.... Those living above us were walking through our stuff constantly, and it was very uncomfortable to do anything outside (inside was very hot, nobody can blame people who wants to stay outside rather than inside). You also never know what kind of neighbours to expect once the previous ones move out - noisy young people who always parties? Small children who are not comfortable at this new strange atmosphere? Well come and draw the Zelena Laguna Resort lottery.... Beach side: two options: the cramped one where breathing costs 3 Eur or the wildness with its nomadish stairs or there lackof if you want to finally swim in the sea. If you go with option one, be prepared that under shades, there are no rules. People do not care if you and your family put your stuff onto the bench, if you are not sitting on it, welp, its now common. Water is also relatively shallow and if you want to go for a longer swim, be prepared to be endangered by small boats. If you go with option 2, your chances of getting injured increases significantly due to the rocky beachsides and slippery paths that lead down to the sea. As its kinda undervisited, be prepared to be climbing a lot, and for medusas to pop up at random intervals... those sting btw, sneaky little creatures and they are small enough to not be easily noticeable.... but water gets deep quickly and you can do some snorkeling and longer swims. Programs: now those were plenty and colourful for those interested in them. Movies, concerts, even fireworks. Shops: little shops are open for the majority of the day, so little souvenirs can easily be optained. There is also a Thai restaurant as well as a pizzeria, the latter I can recommend as pizza was phenomenal. Overall: its good if all you need is a bed and roof above your head, as you plan to stay the whole day by the sea or by seesighting in Poreč or neighbouring cities such as Vrsar, Funtana or Rovinj. Just do not expect much, and bring earplugs - those can help if you are a light sleeper like myself.

They satisfy their target demographic, but could do better. This is a three star hotel, but they need to maintain the rooms better. The towels are old and worn out, the shower door does not close all the way, the toilet does not flush properly, and the bed is old and sagging, the pillows are so lumpy, it is a disgrace. On a happier note, the staff is very polite and helpful. We stayed only for two nights, and on the first night at dinner asked for an ice bucket for our wine. On the second night we did not even have to ask, the smiling waitress brought it to us when she saw us.

Hotel is pretty good, staff is excellent, professional and friendly, food fresh and quality, but a little bit monotonous (but i think that it's normal thing for 3 stars hotel). Territory is big and clean. Except the pool and sea you can find here activities for all tastes. Room is not so big, but you have enough space for the rest. Cleaning is regular. Small renovation would be relevant (IMHO). On the pool side a little noising in the rooms at the evening due to night shows. A little strange paid parking for all-inclusive package, but it's not a big money and problem. All the rest is OK. Last year we spent our vacation in Valamar Tamaris Resort, and in compare with it the Pinia is more friendly and interesting for guests, by my opinion.

I have only visited the Beat Beach Club from the Valamar hotel Pinia, and honestly I liked the nice beach which is very clean and has a nice entrance in the sea. The beach bar looks good and the ambient is very nice and simple. I've ordered a Mojito cocktail which costed 57 kunas, but it didn't really looked like a cocktail, made in a plastic glass with no brown sugar and a whole half of lime with large ice cubes which should be crushed. Usually you get much more from a cocktail for this price. It's a shame for such a nice place to serve drinks like that. Anyway, the staff was very polite and welcoming which made the nice atmosphere with a beautiful view of the beach. 😊😊

The hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The location is in the very center and a car is not necessary as everything is nearby. I highly recommend it

Nicely decorated rooms. Buffee breakfast, restaurants near by. City center location. Can be loud when oriented onto streets. Payable parking available 10min away walking distance. Pavle on reception is super nice and friendly! All staff is.

We booked this apartment on short notice and where positively surprized. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. And even at 32 degrees outside, the AC did a fine job. The breakfast was included, and even though the buffet might seem small, the quality makes up for it.

Clean and comfortable. The room was on the top/third floor room was hot when we got there (it was a hot day in May) and we had to get the staff to turn on the air conditioning, but they did that quite promptly. Great shower. Friendly, helpful staff. We had to leave before breakfast, so they packed a nice lunch-to-go for us.
D H — Google review
Location excellent, breakfast very good, mother and daughter staff very nice but not sure how this is rated a 4 star hotel. Room was, at best, adequate, far from the rest of the pretty 4* hotels we stayed in in Croatia.

Alanya, the young girl in the reception, if fantastic. She did everything possible to help us and make sure we had everything we needed. Great breakfast and location.

Stylish family run hotel with excellent service, beautiful rooms and great atmosphere in the very heart of Porec, only a short walk from the port and sea. What is special: We spent a wedding weekend there, and the team was enjoying to support us and make the wedding unforgetable. Thank you so much Melissa... we had a very special weekend at your place....

Isabella Island Castle, a 19th-century aristocratic summer residence turned into a luxurious island resort, offers a fairytale getaway. The stylish apartments blend historic charm with modern luxury and provide splendid sea views. Guests can enjoy the infinity pool and fine dining at Miramare restaurant. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making it an ideal place for families with kids. While the food receives mixed reviews, the overall experience is described as peaceful and excellent by many visitors.
Best Family hotel ever and thank you to Maro Club staff they are beyond amazing and so focused on the little ones to have a good holiday experience! every day great experiences and Maro dance and disco! the staff is so full of heart, we are beyond grateful! the island is a true paradise!

Overall a pleasant stay. The pools are nice, the staff is friendly, the rooms are large and well appointed, the kids' club is nice. However, the food is lacking and there are numerous additional charges throughout the resort that we have been included in other similarly priced hotels in more expensive locations.
Matt B — Google review
Perfect hotel, was here with family and kids (7,9) the second time and we really enjoyed again. Location, food, room (castle) is very good and a perfect price/performance ratio. All employees are very friendly and helpful. Had to leave two days earlier because our son was sick and we did not have to pay the last two nights. Will def come back next year. Two (small thing) which can be improved: - do not like the reservations in the v-level areas, most of the time a lot of them are empty - drink service to lounge chairs in pool and beach area would be "Champions Leage" :)

Nestled within the scenic Park Resort complex, Villas Park Plava Laguna is a delightful family-friendly destination that underwent a complete renovation in 2018. Just moments from the beach, this resort features streamlined villas designed for self-catering comfort, each boasting its own private swimming pool set amidst lush Mediterranean greenery. Guests can enjoy free WiFi throughout the property and take advantage of modern amenities including air conditioning and spacious terraces equipped with outdoor dining areas.
i just stayed in a villa for 10 days with my family in late August and it was w\onderful. The villa was super, with 3 bathrooms, two bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, and huge patio with dining table lounge chairs hammock etc. The staff were wonderful and responded very quickly to any concerns. i used their app by scanning the qr code above the mini bar to tell th em that our bathroom faucet needed a new filter and that the air conditioning system was displaying a drty message and they sent someone within minutes. The food supplied for half pension was also wonderful. It was super varied and everything tasted great, i would have like a few more vegan and vegetarian options but otherwise it was superb. There was always tons of choice for breakfast and dinner including beer and wine and cola desserts etc. The villa pool was wonderful and we spent most of our time there. The grounds were exceptionally clean and the property was kept up very well. there were constantly gardners and maintenance staff going through and keeping everything spotless. The kid sanimation programs were also worthwhile. We saw the nutty scientists show and another show followed by kiddie disco, which are youn kids enjoyed immensely. The private parking spot for villa guests was also super convenient and close to the villas. The villa area is closed off by gates but we still saw people sneaking in to use the villa pool from the apartments etc. i don't know how that could be avoided though. i also only recommend the room service fromt the pool restaurant very highly. the food there was really affordable and delicious. 5 euro average for a large pizza or sandwich or fried wrap or veggie burger. Everything was delicious. All in all it was a wonderful vacation and i would recommend this place to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Croatia and the warmth of the people that was shown in our stay, the excellent breakfast and quality of the rooms. The care for you to have a nice stay was a priority and they offered advice to provide that, we will be back. Thank you.

While sitting here in the dining area for breakfast, the clouds pass on by as I’m enjoying an amazingly fresh, delicious and homemade meal of local farm fresh eggs with the yolks the color of a glowing sunset and straight out of the oven apple strudel. I can see the pine and palm trees outside the Villa in the quiet neighborhood and know the city is a 5 minute walk from here.

My wife and I stayed here while visiting Porec and had a great time. The rooms were nice. The hotel was quiet. The breakfast spread was huge and we had an incredible dinner at their restaurant. The location was great. It was a short walk to a bunch of great shops, cafes and restaurants. We can't wait to visit again!

So, let’s discuss our hotel in Poreč. We booked a room next to the ocean for less than 200 Euros a night. Breakfast was included (think big Spanish hams and actual honeycombs carved to order.) It is about 50 feet from the port on one side, and 200 feet from the ocean on the other. The rooms have interesting books in them (In English, German, and Croatian… ours had a book of Magritte paintings, a book about some athlete, and a murder mystery In Croatian) and in the hallway for you to read. They invite you to sit on the patio at night for a drink. (Included) And last night there was live music. But the really cool part is that it is built on the ruins of a Roman temple. Like, the patio is on top of stone that has been sitting there for 2000 years. LIKE WHEN JESUS WAS ALIVE (and Claudius, and Nero, and…I can’t even). Like, as I drank my coffee and ate my croissant today, my feet were on 2000 year old cobblestones. Also, the leftovers of the Temple of Neptune and the Temple of Mars and the freaking Roman Forum were literally all around me and under me. And in the hotel (and the public library across the street which, of course a college librarian and English/writing Professor had to go into) had cobblestones under glasss that you walked over. We have been asked several times today where we are from because our English Is so good. The waitresses often think we are German. Not many Americans make It to Poreč, I guess. Rick Steves says to “Go to Croatia before it changes. Because, it will.” I concur.

Beautiful rooms with careful attention to detail - like an Italian furniture showroom. Very attentive staff especially Tamara at reception and Stanko at the restaurant. First time I've ever encountered a member of staff who was so passionate about every aspect of the restaurant and ways to improve an already excellent product!

Sascha W — Google review
We booked a two bedroom luxury apartment for four adults that includes the cable, internet, breakfast, air-conditioning, and beach access. All the information was confirmed over the phone. From all the things listed, the breakfast part was only accurate information. We only had one bedroom and pull out bed in the living room, tv didn't work, air-conditioning didn't work, and the nearest beach was 0.621 miles or 1 kilometer walking distance. It was very hot and humid. We had to have all the windows open just to get some air. On top of everything, we were woken up on Saturday morning by very loud sound of construction workers. When we complained about all the things that didn't work but is included in price to the supervisor/manager, he was very rude and basically told us that there was nothing he could do to fix none of the problems, and if we didn't like it we should leave. I couldn't believe his words, I had never experienced anything like this before. However, I need to say that the rest of the staff deserves 10 stars. If the owner wants to keep the business, he or she should hire someone with customer service experience.

(Translated by Google) After spending our vacation at Marizela in 2021, we wanted to book for the following year. There was no response from the landlord. According to the internet website, the price had tripled anyway, which wasn't worth the money to us, because the apartment should be equipped accordingly, which is not the case here. (Original) Nachdem wir 2021 bei Marizela unseren Urlaub verbracht hatten, wollten wir für das folgende Jahr buchen. Keine Reaktion von Seiten des Vermieters lt. (Translated by Google) The location is good, but the furnishings of the apartment leave a lot to be desired (from 1970). Everything is old and not enough equipment in the kitchen, hardly any dishes, no coffee machine or toaster. There's actually nothing there. That's not possible for a price of 104 euros. Also too loud, roommates are often Croatians and don't behave at all. For us it was the worst vacation we've had in a long time. Never again . The landlady doesn't care at all if the roommates constantly riot. In addition, the Spadici district is getting older. A lot of things are broken on the beach, old buildings and slides that should have been torn down long ago before they fell into disrepair.
