The best Fish and Chip shop in Wisbech by far. I had the cod and chips - neither their fish or chips were greasy, served piping hot by very friendly staff.
The wife had loaded chips (salted chilli chicken) and they were delicious.
Serving staff were quick to take the order and our food arrived within 5 minutes.

Well we back for another meal 23rd July.
I had my steak and ale pie omg it was delicious and filling. Lord Charles had steak and mushroom pie with mash you could tell it was homemade big chunks of steak with fresh mushrooms and onions. And Ana had a small ham and pineapple pizza she didn't want the chips or salad but she said the pizza was lovely.
Never had a bad meal here yet and like always clean and staff are friendly. Seriously it's worth a visit. So went back for another meal on 1st 2025.
What can I say yet again it didn't disappoint. Lord Charles had a mega burger and I had a steak and ale pie with mash and veg.
Now if your used to instant mash with no lumps and no flavour you won't find this here. It's freshly made mash with butter. If your being very picky this has some lumps of potatoes but not big ones this hads to the flavour.This is how I love it and it was full of flavour. The carrots and peas where fresh and also full of flavour. The pie was great and so was the jug of gravy.
Lord Charles had the mega burger it should carry a warning of this is far bigger than you think. It was 3 burgers with bacon,eggs, mushrooms plus much more. The portions of food on his plate where massive 8 onion rings a large pot of coleslaw the salad was all fresh.Just don't go there and look at the menu and prices because you see pie and mash for £16 I think it was but you get far much more than most places and it's definitely all freshly made.
The outside doesn't do it justice. You wouldn't believe how big it is has a lovely beer garden too
Be warned you need to be hungry to come here. If you seriously want to enjoy all the food on your plate. Don't eat anything before you come here.
Had the full breakfast and omg the plate was full.
I don't eat mushrooms or eggs or tomatoes or black pudding so asked if I could have extra sausage and bacon. Well the sausage where 12 inch ones and I had 3 of them loads of bacon 2 lots fried bread. Omg it's good traditional food at a reasonable price.

The chicken was massive and the steak was a good thick slice and very lean no fat and cooked to perfection.
The salad was fresh and not out of a bag.

Only downside is I can't take this pub back to my country village.

We were a bigger party, so they couldn't fit us in at the bar so they opened up their restaurant side just for us! Some places would have turned us away, but they made us feel so welcome and like it was no issue, which we really appreciated as we had read the good reviews and really wanted to eat here! Cannot fault anything about this meal or the service, perfect!

Great food. Service was too quick think they wanted to go home. Please let the whole table finish eating before clearing plates.
I visited this restaurant with the intention of ordering food, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing due to the staff's behavior. Upon attempting to place an order, the staff member was very rude, arrogant, and discourteous. They told me not to place the order and to leave, which was completely unacceptable.
Additionally, the staff member imposed unreasonable conditions on placing an order. They stated that orders under £10 are not accepted, with a condescending comment implying I wouldn't "die" by ordering a higher amount. Furthermore, for orders below £10 where I wanted to pay by card, they demanded an extra £2-3 charge. This behavior was unprofessional and unwelcoming.
The lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by the staff made the visit unpleasant and unwelcoming. Given that customer service is a fundamental aspect of any dining experience, the behavior exhibited by the staff fell severely short of expected standards.
I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment until significant improvements are made in staff training and customer interaction. The food quality, regardless of how good it might be, cannot compensate for such poor treatment of patrons.
Three of us came in for a meal, the food was very good, would certainly come again. Bobby was exceptional and went above with his exceptional service and it was so appreciated. Thank you.

We ordered a takeaway with delivery from Uber eat who let us down all credit to the moja team they brought our food to us after waiting for Uber for 30 minutes , food was quality tasty and filling will defiantly will be ordering from Moja again .

This is a first-class establishment, which is a rare find in this market. The quality of food is truly impressive, and I instantly felt the chef took pride in delivering perfection. I honestly can't fault the place. Also, the restaurant has a relaxed vibe, and there's no feeling of being rushed. I'd like to think it's the same on every visit because I will be returning for sure.

I had a deeply disappointing experience here at Alishan Indian Restaurant. Despite coming with the hope of enjoying authentic Indian cuisine, the behavior of one of the waiters left a sour impression.
From the start, the waiter displayed a rude attitude, making us feel unwelcome. It felt as though he was judging us, as if we couldn’t afford to eat there, which was both insulting and unprofessional. Worse, he and his colleagues were openly talking about us, which was incredibly disrespectful.
The service felt rushed and impatient. When we tried to take our time ordering, we were pressured to decide quickly. Adding to this, the Coca-Cola we were served was not cold and tasted off. When we requested a replacement, instead of handling it gracefully, the waiter’s attitude worsened. He condescendingly offered a free can of drink, implying that we would eat or drink anything if it was free.
Ultimately, we felt so uncomfortable that we had to cancel our order and leave. This was not the dining experience we expected, and it was deeply disheartening.
As fellow Indians, we expected warmth and hospitality, not judgment and poor treatment. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and provides better training to their staff. No customer should have to endure such treatment.
We had a super evening at Alishan Indian restaurant, last evening in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, Friday 23rd of May 2025 brilliant service, a friendly welcome to their customers, my husband and myself were out with our 2 children, our sons wife, and my daughter's partner, we all said how amazing the food was, array of alcohol and non alcohol drinks to choose from, and all at a very reasonable price that people can afford, it's a definite must to go and taste their wonderful choice of menu, you will not be disappointed!!
On of the best Tandoori restaurants I've been to in years. Really nice portion sizes and very tasty.

I had one of the worst experiences at this restaurant. I went in expecting to enjoy a meal, but I never even got to eat because of how terrible the customer service was.
From the moment I walked in, the staff seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. I stood at the entrance for several minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, and when they finally did, it was with an attitude that made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by being.
We ordered a coke, which wasn't fizzy when we reported this. He smiled and offered us the fresh one
Then we realised that at the counter they were laughing at us .

Excellent menu the food here is really good and large portions too.

Very good food, reasonably priced, and tasty. Food service was a bit slow, but it tasted good so could be forgiven, plus there were 9 of us on a Saturday night, didn't see any other diners.
First time we visited it was ok except for numerous flies in the dining area. We decided to try the place again for a joint bday celebration carvery. It went like this-
Couldn’t get our seats at the table we booked because it’s like they need your drink order immediately you’re in the door, even with a disabled elderly lady within our party and wanting to seat the children.
Had to wait ages to get up to the carvery and others who came in after were told to go up before us!
Went up to get the last kids carvery to find they had messed that up and put an adult one through instead.
The roast potatoes were the over crunchy fried remains of what we can only assume was some potatoes earlier. There were no fresh potatoes bought out till well over an hour after we arrived so the horse had already bolted shall we say! Also if you like thick snot consistency gravy….you’ll love theirs!
One of our party ordered a cookie dough dessert that was small…..took them about 30 mins at least to bring it out. We were at the point of asking for refund.
Our table was booked for 13.45…..and desserts were only being eaten at 15.30 as the service is horrific and the staff attitudes are not much better.
Gross sticky tables….every time my elbow rested on it, it became stuck to it.
Won’t bother returning again, there’s better establishments locally that’s for sure! Don’t waste your time going here.
We went for Sunday carvery it was excellent loads of choice of vegetables you can help yourself and 4 choices of meat well seasoned and tasty, service was good will definitely be going again 15.00 each for carvery.
Stayed here for three nights in June. Rooms are acceptable, comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer and TV. Nice powerfull shower, complimentary shampoo.

Sunday lunch is a carvery with a choice of four meats and a good selection of vegetables which you help yourself to. You may need to book a table for this.
We had a pleasant stay and would not hesitate to return.
We stayed in the 1st room on the block , the 1st time the landlord wasn't the least bit hospitable , & we couldn't get food on arrival as they were booked up in the restaurant & weren't serving food in the bar . So when we heard it had been taken over , we booked again , as its close to our friends & a handy base . The second visit was worse than the first , in regard to the lack of cleanliness in the room , the pillows were saggy & gross , it actually felt like the bedding hadn't been changed , it smelt & felt like it had been slept in , I found further bedding underneath the bed , so put that over the bottom sheet . the bathroom could've done with a good clean , the whole experience felt grubby , the landlord/lady didn't engage , never asked us if everything was ok, no effort was made to be hospitable . Although , it's an ideal spot , we will not be staying there again .

We stayed for 2 nights. The food was good, but the plate was half filled with too many crispy potato wedges. The biggest downfall was on both occasions that we ate, our meals took 40mins on one night and 50mins on the other to be served after ordering. I could understand if it had been very busy, but there wasn't many other diners.

So good and such good value, I'm going back tomorrow morning. Absolutely classic 'cooked' breakfast includes bacon, sausage, 2 eggs of choice, toast, beans, tomato AND a full cup of coffee at no extra charge. Note to North Americans: it's as close as you're going to get to that cup of coffee you've been craving since you left the land of Dunkin/Tim's.
The owner is cheerful and the various local folks filling the place all seemed happy to be there. A chatty place.
PS. A bit tricky to find. It's just a few meters off the main market square. Ask directions if you need to. It's worth it.

Favourite place to eat in centre of Wisbech. Place is spotless clean, friendly staff, and everything is prepared/cooked fresh in front of customers.

If you order healthy and get a salad , it is very very fresh and that good kind of crunchy . Absolutely stunning . Only downside is that they aren't open in the evenings. I believe they would give the local takeaways a run for their money if they did.

Cons:: not many people, restaurant was cold, need a jacket or a wrap .
Entering the restaurant tables didn’t look inviting, not set for service.

This bar restaurant is very upscale with it's food. Portions were generous and the soup tasted homemade. Both starters and main courses were very lightly seasoned, which is great if you're on a low salt diet. Which is a nice touch!
This venue is a find. It's on bar with the BEST of Kings Lynn, Bury St E, Ely and Downham Market. Plus the establishment does have some working aircon.
They have a vegan and vegetarian options but you have to ask for them. It would be better for their business to advertise this more as had a friend not recommended this place, I'd have swiped left thinking it didn't have any options. Simply offering great vegetarian and vegan food at a high level is standard most other restaurants don't do. There's none of the cheesy risottos, Pete pasta or Halloumi burgers. Well done
The service was very attentive and professional. The garlic cheese mushrooms are recommended, it'd have been a little nicer to have a few different types.
I had a nice chunky red pepper and tomato soup, super sweet and served with soft white bread.
I tried the butternut squash wellington, it was a massive plate with a lot of veg, gravy and an interesting baked mashed potato with skin. It is recommended and interesting.
Great food, booked table for 6pm. So no real atmosphere, as very quiet. Only negative was several menu items not available. However, I would still try again.
You cannot judge a book by its cover. As we pulled into the car park the property looked very unkempt. Inside however, the bar and the restaurant area had had quite a lot of money spent. Very clean overall. The food was OK but in my opinion pricey for what it was (about 25% more than it should have been). Staff were friendly enough but needed to be more image aware. The evening we went, we were the only four customers there all night. Which is a shame as with a bit of fine tuning could be quite a different venue. They really need to increase the footfall otherwise it won't be viable too much longer. In fairness, it has potential, it just needs a bit of a profile lift.
I had come in with my partner, It started out nice and peaceful until i overheard the kitchen area tgere was lots of shouting and tgere was banging going on i overheard someone say that they “powdered their nose” before they came into their shift. The food was overly cooked so i asked for a soup instead, however inside of my soup i was shocked too see a thick white pastey substance floating on the top? Me and my partner said it looked like someone had spat into my tomato soup so we asked the waitress about it and she said it was seasoning which you could clearly see it wasnt it was bubbly smelly and chunky so furthermore I had too leave and i will be calling health and safety check i am very distraught and disappointed and i would never come back into blues restraunt which is very upsetting as i’ve eaten there regularly and did quite enjoy my meals but this is ruined any chance of going back in. Besides that the waitresses were polite but the noise from the kitchen and the conversations very loudly saying about cocaine and other substances I asked for the chef too come out but she stated she was very busy cooking but there was no one there and everyone had their food and the water i was given too wash my mouth also had the thick sludge floating on the top so thank you but i will not be returning too eat.
WOW! It's my 45th birthday today, we wanted a treat and I can honestly say this place is amazing! Really friendly staff, really clean and airy and the food is the best we have eaten anywhere. The tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection, chips were so tasty and the sides were delicious. We will be back very soon, thank you Blues, what a gem of a place!
Although we arrived on a busy Saturday night and there had been various unbooked tables just ahead of us which had set times back a bit we received a fantastic, warm, friendly welcome.
Every member of staff was great and the food was, well let's just say, well worth waiting for.

Came in today for a breakfast and my partner had the king burger! Food was piping hot, came within minutes of ordering and really tasty! The staff all extremely friendly and cheerful despite it being 32 degrees! Would definitely come back!

We have been going to Terry for a very long time. The food is all ways hot not like some of the other restaurant in the town. The restaurant is all ways it very clean that you can eat your meal of the floor as the staff are all way helpful and if you need it different then they will do it for you. When we come to Wisbech we look forward to have an meal at your restaurant
Quiet good, Service was amazing but food was not so surprising. It was still good but the burger was quiet simple. Other than that, it was alright. Drinks came in in just 3-4 minutes.

Brilliant. You can go in the front or the back, we went in the back but all was fine. Professional woman served us and we were seated in less than a minute. She took our order within 2 and seemed like our drinks were there within 3. We ordered our food at that point and it arrived within 5 minutes. Food was tasty and you do get good value for money. You get fries for the potato part of the all day breakfast. £10 per person for a drink and breakfast. It seems that they are very good at providing quality food and service in good time. It was not very busy when we went in on Sunday morning, so unsure of what it is like when it is busy.

Great value cafe with outdoor seating. Really good and attentive service with a smile. Excellent cappuccino for £1.70 which compares favourably to other coffee shops locally, plus excellent range of great value meals.

Recently I have been often seeing customers with dogs in, who were clearly not working/guide dogs. I thought the place became dog friendly and came in with my very well behaved cavalier only to be told "we only take working dogs in". Either stick to clear blanket rule and not let anyone with non working dogs in or allow all in, this felt really unfair.

I went into Costa coffee the other day. They seem to have new staff, not the general happy faces I'm used to. There's to new staff as I walked in they where both stood around on their phones. Tables full of empty cups. Then I was greeted with a grunt and to top it off the drinks where disgusting.
This is the best Place ever also before going I'd recommend you download the Costa app :)
They allow dogs in them which makes my life so much easier as I have three of them I can sit inside with friends and enjoy my coffee
Amazing taste at any occasion. Cold weather? Try a hot mocha. Hot weather? Try an iced salted caramel latte! Hungry? There's sweet muffins, or sandwiches rich with the nutrients you'll need to get through the day. There's crisps also! You can also buy your own Costa coffee set to make the quality taste at your very home. I personally prefer Costa over Starbucks, don't ask me why... I just love it! ☕❤️

Wonderful charming pub with a cosy, relaxed ambience, delicious food and very welcoming staff. We had our little Scottie dog in tow who received a bowl of water and snacks. Superb! The menu was great and we were very impressed with our meals. The service from all the staff was top notch, so thank you to all! 10/10.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this little (dog friendly) gem. I visited today with my Dad who has Dementia, my daughter & our French Bulldog Thor. The food was incredible and we had the best chocolate brownie we’ve ever tasted - this is not an exaggeration. The desserts took a little longer to arrive than expected…but they were 1 million percent worth the wait! Staff were lovely and everything was nice and clean.
The only thing that let this place down a little were the ladies toilets, they were absolutely freezing 🥶
We will definitely be coming back though 👍🏻 We want to try more on that menu 😋
Very nice, local village pub. The special (beef and Guinness pie) and menu offerings (lasagna, shown) were delicious. Great local brews on draft and various drink options. Highly recommend if in the area. We'll be back.
Visiting the area on holiday and found this amazing pub. The food was excellent and service brilliant (especially our waitress Kelly, who is an asset to this pub). Able to bring our dog, she loved the place too.

Not many stars because we didn't eat but a nice little pub that serves food, but not on Mondays as per website. However google showed open so I phoned and they were actually open on the Bank Holiday Monday until 7pm so we enjoyed a couple of drinks. Food sign was out also so could have confuse anyone driving past then who may decide to stop for food and have no luck. Didn't affect us though as we had checked their website as per their recommendations to other reviewers and general public on here. The former beer barrels now urinals are neat as are the animal drawings in the dining area. All in all a nice visit.
It was the first time we'd been to the Sportsman since it reopened and we were not disappointed. We received a very warm welcome by the 2 ladies who were running the bar/food. They were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was my birthday and they put a candle in my baguette, such a caring little touch. The food was also amazing and well worth the money.
We will definitely be going back.

A gem of a find. Tucked away was this lovely Italian restaurant. Authentic yummy food, great portions and lovely friendly staff. My 6 year old son said it was the best pizza he had and gave it 10/10. Like most children he's eaten ALOT of pizza to rate this !

A little gem of a restaurant down a little alleyway in the heart of historic Wisbech.
Went with my wife on a chilly Friday evening in spring to have a couple of the nicest pizzas we've had in a long time. We come from Peterborough where you can get really lovely pizzas from independent restaurants thanks to our great Italian community so that's saying something.
The service was charming and timely.
The place was a bit chilly though so take a jumper unless it's summer.
Myself and my partner visited here recently. It was such a lovely place and the food was wonderful.
What a fined greeted by Mark the manger and Ella the waitress. They accommoded 10 of us at 9.20pm a random phone call and we all had a lovely experience food amazing right across the menu service attentive.
We will be back for sure food service and prices are amazing well done guys and thanks to your chief top notch 😀
Forget about all the other Italian restaurants in Wisbech, go to this place you will not be disapointed. It is utterly outstanding in every way. The food is prepared by a true master who obviously enjoys what they do. The food is fresh and very tasty, the portions are generouse. It is a little hidden and out of the way, but find it, use it, you will have a wonderful meal. On the day we went, there was only one server on and she was great, never got anything wrong, was cheerful and happy, nothing was too much trouble, a lovely lady. Many thanks all.

This is a great place for a quick bite on lunch where time is of the essence. The barmaid always remembers my order and is out before you know it. we love this place

Had a takeaway the other day, they kindly done me a vegan version of the curry i used to love, my husband really enjoyed the chicken and lamb dish, they did forget a dish but was very quick to deliver it (i was still eating mine when it arrived). Friendly over the phone also.

When i was there one men run to dance pool and spray a gas around. Second time was big fight. Third time was fine. I would never go there alone or with just one friend. But... in Wisbech don't have a lot of places where to go. Good that you have a pool table. Because of that i add one more star.😉

Daisy is the kind of employee every business dreams of having. She was not only kind and attentive, but truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect with my order. The children love Wendy's, and fortunate to have one in Wisbech! First time using the app today and the offers wouldn't work. Daisy was really helpful to sort it out. Definitely recommend Wendy's and the app as you get offers that aren't available in store!
Can't comment on the atmosphere as I ordered for delivers but the chicken burger looked like dead pigeon, it was chewy and not enjoyable. The bun felt and looked like it just come out of a sauna and the large chips had about 3 chips in the box. The milkshake was pretty good but hard to enjoy when you've been given such low quality food. The service can't really be rated as I ordered through a phone but the phone was very easy and didn't give me much hassle.
Staff were superb 👌 really helpful, and the food was yummy and fresh. The refill machine was awesome, especially for me, as I could never choose, so it was great to be able to have more than 1 flavour pop with no extra cost 😀 my partner and I had the 3.99 meal deal, cheeseburger and fries and a drink and we added nuggets which the chicken tasted so fresh even I loved them and I don't normally like nuggets our son had the double Danny meal and nuggets, he said he really enjoyed it and he's really fussy. The restaurant was extremely clean 👌 no pictures of ours, only our sons as we were too busy enjoying ours, lol 😆 thankyou 😊

I visited this Subway for the 1st time yesterday and I went in with orders on my phone from my husband and 2 sons . Dottie and Chloe were totally amazing how they helped me . They looked at the orders and sorted everything out and then told me about the meal deals . They wrote on the packaging who’s was who’s and their customer service for 2 girls so young was outstanding . I’m sure their parents are truly proud of them but I think Subway should be super proud of how fantastic their staff are . I will defiantly be back thanks to them . The bench mark you have is at the highest level .

Boy this place is small, there's only 4 tables and 8 chairs which The tables are double up So there's no chance of you eating in.
At the time I went the Sandwich artist as they like to be called was more concerned in doing those delivery orders then dealing with the huge queue that was building.
For some reason they've stopped doing the tiger roll but having a nap my sandwich was lovely.
Terrible service. no milk for coffee the lady didnt tell us so it was poured out black. no hash browns in the breakfast sub didnt offer any alternative. the lady was very on her own and very stressed as orders were piling up for delivery. wasnt clean wont be coming back it was a stop off on the way to a day out. not good subway for the price we paid. need to sort it out.
I attend this Subway on a regular, (5 days a week). The staff are amazing. The staff are so friendly and always work effectively and efficiently even during high peak times. Iasha kyomi is especially super friendly and very helpful to meet the requirements of the customers.🙂
The poor girl left on her own without help after working there less than a month was really stressed and struggled to cope. She got through it. We contacted the head office as this wasn’t fair on her and the manager Tim sent a passive aggressive reply. I asked him to escalate this as it was so unpleasant and he owed that girl an apology but he just ignored me. If this is how the staff are treated that’s just awful.

Snack Shack is a family run cafe with helpful caring staff, a nice homely place to relax in and they do plenty of tasty homemade cottage style meals.
I went yesterday for a Prawn Jacket Potato. The very tiny salad garnish was very tiny with too much Seafood Sauce and not enough Prawns. For £6.50. Had a cup of tea £2.25 for a large cup. Will not be returning again for the food, over priced, not enough and very bland. Coleslaw was extra for £1 more.
Lovely place to have lunch. Staff were incredibly helpful and portions were very generous. Wouldn't hesitate to go back

KFC Wisbech is easy to access from the main road. Car parks are there and also KFC drive thru. KFC Wisbech is not busy on weekdays,only busy on weekends. Sometimes food is under cooked and covered with more batter. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. Most of the time something is wrong with the system while ordering from the counter.

Don't like to post bad reviews but this KFC is just awful. Every now and again, we go back hoping things have improved but they don't ....always seem to be running out of items on their menu, chips often cold and just check out this 'loaded fries' I got for £3.99 ....they couldn't make it look less appetising and bad value for money if they tried! Very Disappointed with Staff Behaviour at KFC
I had a very unpleasant experience at KFC recently due to extremely poor customer handling by the staff. It was shocking to see how unprofessional the environment was — instead of attending to customers properly, the staff were busy laughing, chit-chatting.
There was no sense of responsibility or basic courtesy towards customers who were waiting for assistance. It felt chaotic and disorganized, and no one seemed to care about maintaining the brand's reputation. We come to KFC expecting good food and decent service, but sadly, neither was up to standard this time.
I hope the management takes immediate action to address this, as such careless behaviour can drive away loyal customers.
Payed for 3 large drinks but got 4 cans instead, staff stood talking to each other, ignored at till for about 5 minutes, didn't bother checking the gas on the drinks machine and couldn't get our drinks and my mom and stepdad got one can instead of two even though we payed for 3 large drinks. Do not come here
The food was good. The wasn’t any space to dispose the waste, the bins were full. Even the outside bin was piled with trash. I not sure what the Manager/Team leader, whoever the guy is. He just bullies the co workers and just commands them to work. Horrible experience.
The drive thru took 7 minutes just to let us order and then took another 4 to let us pay and then it took a further 10 to actually get our food. And it wasn't even busy inside and they threw our food around like it was nothing. Do not recommend.
Came here at 22:00. I do understand that you are closing in 45 min. But, everyone was ignoring me for 15 min near drive through. Food was disgusting. Cold....you cant serve this shit while charging that much for food.

Went to McDonalds for some coffee and food, it was loud, very loud. Mostly busy at 3pm to 5pm, recommend delivery. There wasn't much to do except wait but it was fine. There were many items for children to play with such as colouring and playing games, also some toys to play with in the happy meal. Service wasn't good nor bad. Wasn't too crowded at the time I went. The Iced Caramel Frappe was stunning, absolutely fantastic. The wrap was good aswell. Giving 5 stars of course!

I ordered myself a mcdelivery. I had to walk to my neighbours to get it because they delivered to the wrong door. As I take the bag it leaks. I continue to walk home and I open my drink and there wasn’t any left obviously. The mcdelivery is getting very poor the way they handle peoples food/drink isn’t great. So my boyfriend went to McDonald’s this evening to grab some dinner for me and him. He goes through the drive through like he normally does he asked them for a Big Mac meal with no middle bun. Instead when he gets home I’m all excited for dinner to realise there is no wrapped burger instead they heard my boyfriend say no bun so they decided to throw everything into a salad box. Honestly if they don’t hear what has been said properly please just ask to repeat what has been said.
Food is poor from this McDonald's, burgers are always dry and often missing any sauce , when they do have it , it's barley any. Fries are always undercooked and almost soggy rarely ever even salted. Staff and service is good at least.

The food was hot, the staff were a bit rude. Literally just threw my food at me. It was quite busy, but still. Customer service costs nothing. See a girl having an interview out front where I was sat, literally 5 mins and she got the job...I assume she did anyways as she walked off smiling. Good luck to her...but from what I saw, there was no tough questions or proof she could be polite and efficient.

Today I went to Frankie’s chippy and my girlfriend ordered 2 regular chips wrapped up with scraps on both portions with salt and vinegar.
We got home and only one portion has scraps on.
Now I’m really angry because chips on its own is plain.
I think the people taking orders should listen carefully to what’s being said.
I want here to leave the job because she’s done this a couple times now. And I’m really hangry cause I ain’t got my scraps. 😡

I'm a cheery chap, respectful, polite and I understand some people have a "bad day at the office". But this has just gotten worse over the years that I've lived in the area. Tonight I was made to feel like an unwelcome smell.
A number of people I know visit the shop just to see miserable she is. Others now visit only when the The Jolly Fryer is closed.
While the food is excellent, the service is appalling. I've been a customer service manager for over 20 years and have some idea of what I'm talking about. I'm absolutely done with this place.

Once we got the food home the battered burgers in buns tasted out of date and the buns were stale and had black burn marks all over them so we couldn't eat them. The cheesy chips were microwave and to be honest they was absolutely gross! The only thing that was any good was the plain sausage which the dog ate! Absolute waste of £18! I only ate a handful of chips and started throwing up pretty much straight away! I definitely would not recommend this place at all. Highly recommended the slush puppy as they was the only things they didn't man handle! Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere!

Food was 40 mins late and obviously stone cold. Asked for a text update via app while waiting. Nothing came. Disgusted in general. This is not the first time this has happened to me from this shop. First time thought it was a one off. Second time thought I was unlucky. Third time. Proves this is just a terrible shop to get food from.
I get that I ordered to Upwell. But if you know you can’t deliver in time to an area. Take it off your list. Or get drivers that know where the local villages are.
Refund that was offered by just eat didn’t even cover a third of the cost of the food tonight.

Best takeaway shop!!, I have been here over a dozen times and this has now turned into my main place to go for quality takeaway food everything i have had from here is perfect and tastes really great, A personal favourite is the Meat feast pizza (Get the BBQ base to get sauce drizzled on the top too) which i have never had done before in any other takeaway shop the food is a 10/10. The delivery drivers are friendly and fast never had a incorrect order here along with sometimes having the owner personally deliver your food makes the overall experience go up. Great food, fast delivery and friendly staff. We were at The Secret Brewery Gardens for a jazz night and a little worried that they would not find us or that the food would arrive cold. We need not have worried, they found our table and the food was hot and delicious. They even came back for more deliveries as others saw how good ours was!
The staff were friendly enough and certainly prompt getting my order together BUT!!! I got there just after 6pm the chips had been fried (don't know how many times) long before I got there and put back in the frier to warm them up... The result was hard inedible pieces of what used to be potato which could now easily be used as reactor lining! The meat tasted peculiar too. Maybe it's because I got there early, who knows.

Great food, excellent service and communication was brilliant. I needed catering for a family event at short notice. Park Street Pantry came through for me. Thank you and highly recommended.
Today we had the sandwich platter from Park Street Pantry . Food was excellent presented beautifully. All very fresh great value. Will most definitely have food from them again . Thank you so much to all the staff.
Fresh tiger bread and salad was perfect. Tasted lovely. Lots of options and friendly staff. Will be back for a platter as they look yummy!
