During our visit on a Saturday at 10 am, we experienced a short wait before being seated. Another group took the initiative to locate our server and notify them of the line of patient customers, waiting to be seated. Once seated, the service was prompt and efficient, with our food arriving hot and quickly. However, I observed that our server appeared to be managing the majority of the workload alone. I did need to request additional refills of tea and coffee more than once, as the server seemed overwhelmed and had forgotten. In conclusion, while I would consider revisiting this establishment, I would recommend considering additional staffing for Saturday mornings to ensure a smoother dining experience for customers.

Great portion sizes for a family meal. Very tasty meat, the chicken skewers were very filling. Always a treat having a salad bar, it was out of my preferred sauce but happily found something else. Staff were able to help with our questions and complicated bill request. Can tell it was busy as they were out of a chicken option I'd originally wanted. Staff were doing their best for how busy the place was.

Ordered delivery for an at home birthday meal for 2 costed £42.95 (two burgers, chips and salad). It got delivered late around 40 mins late which may be down to just eat. But upon delivery we are missing a vegetable burger and a salad. We called the restaurant and got told I was lying and just told me they trusted their staff members and that the delivery man may have taken it. Bag was sealed upon delivery. Will not be returning here to dine again.

I went to this harvester for dinner with my family It was very good Our waiter was Ross He is very nice I like the red devil sauce Service was a little slow It not too far from the Premier Inn hinckley

Wonderful experience at this Harvester. I’d just like to say how impressed i’ve been in particular with Adam who has gone above and beyond for our large table celebrating a birthday today. He has been so attentive and looked after our table. Nothing has been too much trouble and his customer service alone would entice me to returning to this particular location of Harvester! Two of us went on a Saturday night. One of us had gammon which was very good value and enjoyed. I had the mac n cheese which was fine, but would have liked more vegetarian choices. Eva our waitress was lovely, very friendly and helpful

we came for lunch and the service was absolutely amazing. our server, Eva, was so kind and gave us a free drink as we were 18p short. she also made us feel very welcome and we definitely recommend

Nice little spot with a cosy indoor vibe and a few small tables outside. I ordered the fried egg with avocado on sourdough, topped with feta and hot honey. It was okay — enjoyable, but something I could easily make at home. I was hoping for a bit more flavour (and definitely more feta!). I’d still come back, but next time I’d try something different on the menu. 😊

French toast was very sweet for me but if you like dessert for breakfast it's perfect. It was great atmosphere. Will try again.

Drove from south Northants to Nuneaton last week to check out a car for sale. Found this cafe via the usual quick search on google maps. Great quirky menu, cosy, relaxed vibe. Bacon and cheese rosti fab. Came back across to collect the car yesterday, returned to R&M cafe, same good service, the hot honey and feta rosti this time - spot on. The pile of cinnamon French toast we had too was wicked. Keep it up folks.

First time visiting this morning. Dirty eggs, French toast and pancakes all amazing. The lady serving was lovely. Highly recommend. The music playing was also top notch.

Lovely little place 💛 Really unusual menu which was a treat. Food was lovely and portions really generous. Certainly want to come back to sample some other bits 💛 The only thing I will say is the place felt a little tired and grubby. But that could be because it was the end of the week and end of the day. Certainly wouldn't put me off returning 💛

Frustrated with my experience here today. We came here a few months ago and had excellent service, food and knowledgeable staff about gluten free food. Firstly, I asked for if the waitress if they serve gluten free sandwiches. She said ‘I think so’. I waited as I didn’t want to question her and seem rude. She said ‘Actually, I’ll have to check’. As a person with coeliac disease, this was worrying that staff don’t know their menu. I ordered a Brie, bacon and cranberry sandwich. It arrived with grated cheese on it and the gf bread had not been toasted. I questioned a different waitress, who was quite despondent. Eventually, she took the plate to the kitchen, brought it back to me and said, ‘ We don’t have Brie’ with no explanation as to why it had just come with grated cheese or even a ‘sorry’. I said that what was listed on their menu was not what I received and she responded, ‘Well, what else do you want then?’ I explained I would have the sandwich but not pay £8 for something I haven’t received. When I went to pay, they had added £1 to a bacon sandwich for the grated cheese and splodge of cranberry. We, unfortunately, after such a great experience the first time around, will not be returning. I wonder if the staff team has completely changed since Spring?

I highly recommend trying this place out. I have been a few times now and never disappointed. The girls serving are so friendly and happy. We has a sharing platter and it was perfect as always. Thank you all for an enjoyable breakfast.

Haven't been to Traceys for years but we popped in the other day for a quick bite. I had the English and my daughter had the mini breakfast. They are somewhat flexible on the items but only two swaps apparently. The food was OK for the price as for both without drinks was just over £15, very mass produced ingredients which was as expected. Our server was lovely, polite and happy to help. It was quite busy so it was alittle loud with lots of background chat and banter.

Great place for a tasty breakfast, provided you are able to park. Usually very busy and have unfortunately had to skip sometimes due to lack of parking, however if you do get in you'll enjoy a hearty well cooked and presented breakfast.

I was sadly disappointed in the prawn salad bowl I ordered today. 2/3 of it was iceberg lettuce, just not enough other salad items. The prawns were poor quality too. I did not consider this choice on the menu good value for money. I wish someone had asked me how the food was, I would have said and not written this review. The meals my friends ordered were perfectly nice.

Great value for money cafe, ideal for familys, workmen, bikers, anyone with an appetite. Breakfast, bacon, sasuage,chips, not forgetting the cheese cake. Coffee, tea and pop. High chair for the carpet muncher. Will try the steak in future.Table service, take the order bring the food. Great, friendly cafe. Regular now.

This is the cafe to go too! Myself and all my friends go to place is always Traceys! Take away or eat in always a positive experience :) Be warned though , it doesn't matter how hungry you are.. 2 batches is too much! 🤣

Went for a Sunday morning breakfast with family. Was pleasant, quiet and relaxed. Buffet breakfast was enjoyed by all. Was with my 2yo daughter who was able to use a highchair and the play area at the back was great.

I had a Buffet breakfast for only £7.50 and the selection of things you get for the money is amazing. The food is cooked perfectly and tastes really great. The guy serving also was very friendly and very accommodating. All in all a perfect breakfast, I will now for sure rate everywhere I eat to here, really happy and full 😋. A+ from me.

Went to pick up my To good to go order from here. It was a breakfast, the amount of food I got for the price was amazing. There sausage are best I've had in a while . The service and cleanliness of the pub was good 👍. I'll be back 😀

We’re regulars at the Middlemarch. Great carvery with generous portions. Abby was very friendly and welcoming. Look forward to the next visit.

Three of us ate there today. The 2 carvery meals were excellent. I have major food sensitives so it's difficult for me to eat out. All I can say I couldn't fault the customer service. Staff bent over backwards to accommodate me food wise. I really appreciated having food freshly cooked to fulfil my dietary needs. Kudos to the chef. My meal was delicious. I don't live in the area but I will certainly be eating there on my next visit. No blaring music either in the background which is a welcome change when dining out. 👏

Disappointing Experience — Not Very Family Friendly From the moment we entered the pub, it was clear things weren’t off to a great start. The entrance was about 75% blocked by a Christmas tree and the check-in desk, making it quite the obstacle course — especially with a small child in tow. We were greeted (or rather, not greeted) with service entirely lacking a smile — always a delightful way to start a meal out. After giving our name, the hostess took off at lightning speed toward our table, leaving us to navigate the cramped entrance like contestants in a game of Where’s the Waitress? Despite requesting a family-friendly area and a high chair when booking, this was completely ignored. The waitress, seemingly attempting a land-speed record back to the front desk, called out “Download the app and order on there!” as she disappeared. We eventually hunted down a high chair and kids’ menus ourselves, which were randomly placed on a cupboard across the room. The section we were seated in turned out to be one of the rowdiest parts of the pub, with a particularly loud group making continuous hacking and vomiting noises — a truly charming soundtrack for a family meal. Thankfully, my two-year-old ignored the “inspiring” example set by nearby patrons and just got on with her meal. The food itself was okay, but nothing to write home about. Overall, not the best experience — certainly not the family-friendly atmosphere we were hoping for.

Ego is Ego. Some of the food is really good. Some just leaves you wondering. It's a nice place. The staff can be brilliant. Never seen a prawn cocktail with the prawns sliced in half......? Wow. Has a enjoyable evening. But tbh, without a birthday voucher. I'd choose other places first.

Arrived with three colleagues and no booking on a busy evening but Sim found us a table and could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Great food, great service. When I'm back in Nuneaton again I will definitely be back

Sim served me and my mum at Egos and they were brilliant! Super friendly and attentive, removed any empty glasses and plates as soon as they became empty and made sure me and my mum were both happy with our meal! Thanks Sim!

Absolutely stunning place. Lovely decor, bright and airy, plenty of natural light. The tables are spaced nicely with plenty of room in-between. The food was amazing (we had the roast and the Yorkshire puddings specifically were the best we've had out and about), and we were spoilt for choice - we could easily have gone in completely different directions. Service was quick and friendly, and the hot drinks at the end were lovely. We even fully split our desserts because we couldn't pick just one! And all for a decent price. Would highly recommend.

Lovely restaurant and very welcoming staff. We had a group of 14 ladies for a hen meal and not a single meal or drink had any criticisms. The restaurant itself is modern and well laid out without it being crowded, staff were happy to help and very patient. We highly recommend for any size groups

Food was great, but some items were missing initially, which was later resolved.. drinks were good, I ordered an orange juice and lemonade with no ice, was given a drink with ice.. took back and replaced with pure orange juice! Waiting staff obviously not listening to the order that was clearly written down.. I will use again as the food was really good, I hope my next experience is better.

Ate here the other day with my family and we recieved excellent service and great food! Our server was Johnny and he was absoutely fantastic! Would recommend eating here! I have a gluten allergy and there were lots of options to choose from. We ate from the day time menu where selected meals are all under £8.

our food was cold, the garlic bread was very burnt, our order was wrong and had to wait even longer for our starters, the fruit on top of my drink had mould on it (it was passion fruit to be more exact) we had to wait a while for our drinks to come out, bad presentation of food, me and my partner had to wait over an hour for our food despite there being barely any customers, not a calm atmosphere, our table was sticky, me and my partner were getting dirty looks from the staff even thought we were not being loud or causing a disturbance, 2 tables next to us also got the wrong order, stakes were overdone and not how we asked for it, the rice was old and gross, very overpriced. considering how many people say how good this place is i am very disappointed. me and my partner spent over £75 on food that didn’t even come out warm. i have put a picture up (i have cut the ribs it did not come out like that) the chicken had basically no flavour and was hidden under the ribs when came out.

Went here for a meal as we had travelled into the area. The burgers definitely do not look like the photo on the menu and the chips were a bit sparse Usually we enjoy eating out but not on this occasion

The whole place feels dead and derelict, like it hasn’t been touched in 15 years – and I know, because I came here as a kid and nothing’s changed. The park looks battered and neglected, with no sign of renovation or care. Atmosphere is depressing, not family-friendly at all. Honestly, avoid this place. You’re better off heading up the road or visiting the Crow’s Nest instead. I was also told that we don’t bring food outside

I take my kids regularly for the breakfast. Full English is £10.99 for a paying adult with 2 kids free! Order as much hot food as you want, and all of the continental is free with unlimited drinks. Absolute bargain, and the food is excellent. No complaints

We have tried a few local establishments in recent weeks and can say the friendly service and menu were far better than others! We were made aware of missing menu items as a new menu was starting the following day. Despite this there was enough choice and particularly pleasing was the variety vegetarian options. All the staff were very efficient and cheerful. Good all round Our server was Sarah and deserves a special mention 👍🏼

A spacious quality pub serving quality food. I visited The Whitestone on my birthday with family on Sunday. They offer a traditional range of foods at down to earth prices in a 1, 2 or 3 course guise. Inside I was impressed by the painted wooden beam interior, separate dining and TV area. The staff were relaxed, pleasant and professional. It took a while for food to arrive, but when it did it was served accurately, and more importantly, it was piping hot. The Whitestone is great value for money for something that is a little more upmarket.

We had a table of 8 including ages from 1 to 80. We were disappointed with the Sunday lunches the meat on one meal was tough, maybe the end piece, the roast potatoes were not cooked properly they were raw in the middle. (We overheard 2 other tables saying the potatoes wernt cooked).To he fair we did complain were then served some more that had clearly been deep fried to speed up the cooking process. The cherry cake was burnt on the bottom and the waffle was so hard it was inedible. They did take the price of that of the bill, but nobody came to apologise (manager etc) we paid and left. Shan't be visiting again. !

I'm very positively surprised. Dinner was tasty. Has a sirloin stake medium rare and it was exactly medium rare. My lovely wife had ham and mushroom pizza and it was very tasty too. The staff was very professional, friendly and they offered me help with bringing drinks and cutlery. I will definitely come back again and bring friends with me.

Lunch time visit, very quiet but good food and service. Noticed they are dog friendly in the bar area.

Cannot reccomend enough. Starter was pigeon, pancetta and braised red cabbage and it was perfect. Main was lamb, creamy potatoes and red cabbage and again was incredible. Service was amazing especially considering we were a table of 20. We were on a hen do and had our own separate room so we could play our own music and make as much noise as we wanted. Will definitely be back.

Wow what can I say, Antony's catering were absolutely amazing from day 1, the planning, the time line, the table plans. Plate and glass hire. Making sure everyone with allergies were looked after. Sorting out vegan and gluten free options. Literally nothing was too much trouble and so much attention to the details. Then there's the actual food. Everything was amazing. So tasty. Big portions. Freshly made to perfection. The hog roast was to die for and cracking perfect. They even came back to do breakfast All the guests enjoyed the food and everyone said how good it was. They also helped with surprise singing waiters proving them with aprons Nothing was too much trouble I would highly recommend them for your event you will not be disappointed. This is the second time we have used them and will use them again. Absolutely superb

We loved having Anthony's Catering at our wedding! From the start, our communication with Jon was good. He was friendly, approachable and accommodating and went out of his way to ensure we got all we wanted for our wedding food. We were able to customise the menus to suit us. The company also helped to coordinate other tasks on the day, such as speaking with our MC and cutting our wedding cake. The only small issue we had was that communication was sometimes a little slow which was stressful as the wedding got closer. On the day, the food was incredible! Everyone I've spoken to says how good the food was and how full they were! We had four canapes, a BBQ, brownies and cheesecake, and pizza. The staff were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely recommend Anthony's Catering!

Big thank you for absolutely smashing it at my 30th! The canapés were delicious, and the pizzas later in the night were perfect — fresh, cheesy, and exactly what everyone needed after a few drinks. The team were super friendly and made everything feel easy and stress-free, which meant I could just enjoy the night. My friends are still raving about the food — highly recommend if you want your party food to be a total hit!

ONE WORD… EPIC!! We had Anthony’s cater for our wedding a couple of weeks ago and we honestly couldn’t have asked for more from them! We first met Jon when we went to view the field that would be housing our Tipi and wedding venue. It was by chance that Jon was there and we knew straight away that we wanted to work with him. Jon worked closely with my wife to ensure that the food was perfect for our big day and good god, Anthony’s did not disappoint! The food was to die for, the service was outstanding and the constant support and guidance was just incredible. We worked with Jon over the coming months towards the wedding and he was supportive, every step of the way. They were amazing on the day! They served our food, waited on us hand foot and finger with absolutely everything, staffed the bar, made sure everyone had a drink at all times and helped my mum carry out the wedding cake that she’d spent weeks on! They even saved us some pudding and evening food as they could see we were too wrapped up in everything else and hadn’t had any. We honestly couldn’t recommend Anthony’s enough! If we could have them cook for us every day, we would! Thank you to all of the team, you truly are amazing. Emma and Fiona xx

We used Anthony's Catering for our wedding earlier this month. From the very start of the planning process through to the wedding day, they were fantastic. We had multiple meetings with Jon and it felt like he had everything under control the whole way through. Jon and Paige tailored the event to us and made sure that the day was exactly what we wanted. The food and drink was delicious and the service was efficient and professional. Many of our guests complemented the menu (especially the spanakopita!). We would highly recommend using Anthony's catering for your wedding or event.

We asked Anthony’s to provide the food for our wedding and it was the best decision. They catered for 170 people and were so organised, efficient, positive and a pleasure to work with. The food was incredible and everybody received a hot meal - everyone commented on this. We got lots of compliments about Anthony’s on the day, and afterwards. We never doubted Anthony’s - the food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful and the staff were so polite and helpful! There were a few chicken farmers there, and they praised Anthony’s on managing to cook that much chicken and still maintain the moist texture. Would 100% recommend.

Jon, Paige and the team need scoring more out of 5. Whatever we asked wasn’t an issue, they went above and beyond for our wedding requirements. Now the food. The best curry I ever had in my life and there was super good service all of the food was delicious and it smelt really nice in the restaurant and it was sooo clean and fancy and posh.

On approach for the first time it looks so unkept. The curtain are dirty the windows are dirty and the front is a mess, come on amid keep the front outside as good as the food and you might get more customers

The best food & service in Nuneaton. On Sunday 14th April I had my 50th birthday at Amid Palace. The venue, the host (Sophie), and all the staff made sure all my guests had an amazing time. It seemed like nothing was too much trouble. The food was spectacular, so many choices and flavours. It’s was a special evening that I will cherish forever. I keep receiving such positive feedback from my guests about how delicious the food was at my party. Thank you to the Amid Palace team for everything. 🥰. I will be there again next week.

Good food. Marked down as staff were clearly inexperienced and under staffed when we visited. Young waitress very pleasant but waited 40 mins to place order, wasn’t offered poppadoms which should be pretty standard. Wasn’t offered fresh drinks and had to remind them to give us the bill after they forgot 2mins after asking for it. Service let them down on this occasion. But probably a one off. Enjoyed the fish curry though, it was very good. Bhajis tasted a bit manufactured and reheated, not freshly made.

Went with my partner for a date night for the first time at Amid Palace, annoyed we never went before! For the price point too, it's a great venue. Amazing staff, went above and beyond- food was delicious, don't mind waiting considering the quality. Would recommend, 5/5

Excellent Nepalese food, served in comfortable surroundings with really friendly & helpful staff. Never having tried Nepalese did before, it was difficult to choose from the extensive menu - so I went for the house special, and enjoyed it a lot.

Hom the owner runs a small but atmospheric restaurant. The place is well situated in the town centre and is a wonderful place for a quiet secluded meal with your wife/husband or family and or friends. The decor is simple but effective and the staff are very helpful. The food is excellent and the prices are competitive, this place is well worth the time and effort to go and visit. Clean, tidy and great food. One to try when your in Nuneaton.

It was a very busy Wednesday. After waiting for nearly an hour, we got our table and it was Worth waiting. Delicious food, excellent service by friendly staff, Highly recommended!

Nice curry house and pretty good food. Marked down because some of my chicken was a bit chewy and not as fresh as I'd like and the naan was pretty small and tasteless considering I had Cheese, Garlic and Chillies on it however the rest was nice. The restaurant was clean with nice decor and design and the waiters were nice and friendly. Probably would try again but not in a hurry.

We'd been looking for a good Indian restaurant in Nuneaton for some time...Our first visit to Agra Palace was recommendedto us by our friends. As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed... The service, the food and the atmosphere was great especially being a Thursday night! We were pleasantly surprised! We'll definitely be going back! Top marks for all concerned super friendly and efficient service by a great bunch of guys nothing was too much trouble … nice atmosphere and the food that was just fabulous ! We had the Hydrebadi lamb and a retro chicken tikka masala spiced up a little both were excellent especially of note was the lamb and the mixed starters were superb the popadoms fresh all round a lovely meal so thank you guys !

We went here last night and had a lovely meal. I’ve recently discovered I have a milk intolerance. I didn’t know what to order and I didn’t want to cause a fuss. The man who served us asked me what things I like and then he ordered me the perfect dish and suggested sides. It was a Tuesday night and really busy in there so it might be worth booking in advance, but the service, staff and food were all perfect. Thank-you.

Service was excellent, the menu was on par to other pubs in this band. Very good selection of beers. Food was not as quick as others I have visited but was a good variety on the menu if more expensive than say Weather spoons.

Ryan and the team arranged my late Mums wake, advised on the buffets available and provided us with an amazing and delicious selection of food. Everyone was so impressed. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything went perfectly. I am so very grateful for all the help and support given at a very difficult time.

I can't praise the Manager Gareth enough, from my initial visit to the day we held a wake at the pub his help and advice was invaluable. He showed empathy and care and kept us updated throughout the 2 weeks of planning. The food was amazing and beautifully presented and the staff were super efficient and helpful. The company should be proud to have such an amazing Manager.

What a vist , I didn't catch the lads name but I know he's looking after the place at the minute( he's a Chelsea fan) the conversation I had with him while ordering my beer it felt like I'd known him years, great guy! The place was clean and welcoming, the football flags add a lot of atmosphere when watching the games, shame there's no Brighton flag. Up the seagulls.

Never been before. Went as we got a voucher for main meals. Had a mixed grill and scampi. Absolutely lovely, piping hot 🔥. The mushy peas were the best I've had with a scampi meal. All off it was scrummy.

Absolutely disgusting experience. We booked a table to eat at 8.15pm due to watching a band. This booking time was available on the app. I received a thank you for booking and a reminder. We arrived at 7.40 to have a drink before we sat down and told the barclay we had arrived. She said the booking system had been playing up so we could choose a table anywhere we wanted to sit and the menus are on on the table. At 8pm we went to the bar with our choices, we were then told that the kitchen had shut and we should have been told on arrival!! We were there to watch the band and had already brought drinks. We hadn’t eaten and were hungry it ruined the night. The manager was quite abrupt and didn’t even offer us a drink or his apologies.

We booked a wake for my dad, we've never planned one before and we found the process easy and staff very helpful. The food selection buffet hot and cold was presented very well and the quantity of food was amazing per head. Thank you so much.

Canal side pub. I ordered a club ( chicken and bacon triple sandwich) and chips. Massive sandwich , well presented and lovely cooked chips. The music blaring in the garden was a little distracting to the peace. But I had fantastic canal cycle ride to this pub.

Went here for the live music. The venue has plenty of space. However the execution needs more work. The sound set was very poor and the lights needed more work, just rotating colour changes doesn't cut it

Took our granddaughters one evening after school, they loved it and didn't want to leave. Plenty of outdoor seating, and there is a separate bar downstairs with a small menu, but there is a lot more choice of food & drinks upstairs in the restaurant. Staff all lovely and friendly. Only thing I would request is maybe some swings in the play area.

Attleborough arms is a great all round pub, the food is good, with a lot of variety, the staff are really friendly and attentive, and they have a lot of events going on to keep people coming in, i’ve not had a chance to catch the live music on weekends yet, but I do love coming down the for the free quiz

Food was poor, very tough and cold steaks, overcooked mushrooms and tasteles, dry chips. We ordered one rare and one medium steak, there was no visible difference between both. The pub wasn't busy, but the staff were not showing any interest. The drinks were better. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for us.

Nice views and seating area outside but not alot going on inside unfortunately.. Unless you like to watch the football or live darts torments going on. Small arcade next door for the kids but other than that it has to be one of the most boring places I've been. Even going a drive into town the fair rides are constantly closed! So just a few shops to walk round. Wouldn't recommend.

We visited for Mother's day. The food was nice enough and excellent value for the price we paid. However we were in the restaurant for nearly three hours for two of us. Appreciate that Mothers day is a busy day but the wait times were lengthy. we waited one hour for two ice cream desserts which is not OK. We did chase this twice with the staff to be told we were next and then watched as two tables of eight people were served before us. I did complain and was told sorry. I would give the Sunnyside another go, just not for a special occasion as the lengthy wait did spoil the day somewhat.

My partner and I loved this place. The friendly bar staff moved quickly despite it being busy. It definitely feels family owned. We ordered something exotic foods full stop who would have known we could have had zebra, ostrich, kangaroo, and crocodile in Nuneaton?! Although it took some time for the food to come out, it was super tasty. I would definitely recommend the loaded chips with crab; they were so yummy! The drinks are not to be sniffed at either full stop my partner enjoy the Tiger beer and I had several gin and tonics. I think the mince pie gin is my new favorite. We intend to come back and try some more of the exotic foods and possibly a fish or steak night.

Decent pub on the corner of a busy road junction. The horseshoes benefits from having a car park access directly off the main road. Good selection of real ale, most of which are from Everards brewery. Ale priced at £5 per pint and was in good condition. The bar area is cosy, and there is a decent sized beer garden at the rear off the car park. There are occasional events in a marquee in the beer garden, such as a sausage and cider festival in high summer.

One of the best locals in Nuneaton by a long shot, family run and so welcoming and friendly. Great beer garden and always a lovely night out.

It was a little difficult to pinpoint exactly what makes The Horseshoes such a lovely pub to be in but the little wave of nostalgia reminded me that it is everything that made a pub trip so good back in the day, great selection of well chosen drinks and snacks, friendly and attentive staff and a warm and welcoming atmosphere and, let’s face it in this cost of living crisis, who wouldn’t love the chance to win a bog roll during Happy Hour! 🍻

Whether it's a quiet pint with friends on a winter's evening, a sun-soaked cocktail and BBQ in the not-so-secret secret garden in the summer, or a fun-filled evening at one of their many one off events, the Horseshoes should be top of your list for a visit as one of the best Nuneaton pubs. Also great to catch a rugby game for those of us who love the six nations or club rugby. Plenty of pubs already focus on football - it's great to have a place that puts another of our nation's great pass times at the top of the billing.

I don't like Rugby, but I do like going in! No idea what a town up the M6 has to do with this, but I digress...... Quality bar although I am guilty of being a bit busy of late so can't visit as much. Matt & the team run this bar with so much enthusiasm and have brought it to life. If you do like Rugby, then go in, if you don't, then you're missing out on great service and a quirky bar, featuring a fine selection of ales on rotation with the usual you'd expect to see. 10/10. 💙🏉

Plates came out dirty. Madras was ridiculously too hot. Didn't like the poppadoms dips the yoghurt one was stupidly hot and the onion one had some weird taste. Then at the end the hand wipes were dryer than a nuns chuff. Also the waiter looked like he didn't want to be there half his napkin was in my madras when he brought it out. Never coming here again.

Without doubt, apocolyptically good! I love Indian cuisine, for me the hotter the better has always been the rule! Last night we treated ourselves to a take away and we ordered a lamb vindaloo, extra hot with extra lemon wedges as my main whilst the good lady chose a chicken shashlik bhuna and let me tell you.... this place nailed it! The flavours were immeasurably tantalising, the food looked, smelled and tasted incredible. The service was prompt and the staff that I met on collection were their usual cheerful selves. The restaurant was busy and lively but not rushed and everybody seemed to be having a great time. If you know anything about making or eating Indian food you appreciate how challenging it can be to make exceedingly hot curry whilst still maintaining the delicate flavours of the dish, last night I rode the waves of heat, licked the sun and could set fire to things just by walking past them, today I am relishing the prospect of leftovers for lunch!! The whole team at the Rajdhani are always very accommodating and make you feel at home. They always go above and beyond for me and my family and we enjoy every visit here. The food is lovely and they have been brilliant at catering towards our son’s allergies. Habib and Harry are always very welcoming and the chef are fantastic!

Fantastic restaurant. I order a takeaway most weeks and have sampled a lot of the choices on the varied menu. The food is excellent. The customer service is extremely friendly and always very efficient. Highly recommended.

Awful service. We were seated at our table to then wait 1/2 and hour to get drinks which we had to ask for, then we had ask for them to take our order, in a space of 2 hours we only received our drinks , poppadom and starters. By then we were fed up of waiting for our main courses, we paid for what we had and left. Not great service at all. Needed more staff as we wasn't the only table to get up and leave.

I was quite early to meet the amazing #ReadyFreddie & as I purchased a USBC - C cable I recalled this bar would be better for breakfast than the junk food emporium. Open at 0800 so perfect for me! Lovely quiet place & a beautiful Eggs Benedict. 2nd breakfast never so good in Nuneaton.

The atmosphere always buzzes even on quiet days. The drink is cheap and the food more than acceptable. It's not cordon blue, but complaints are rare and quickly sorted. Excellent swift lunch when you're busy or a slow lazy drink when you're not.

This is one of the best Spoons I've visited. My beer was served in clean glasses which has never happened in my local Spoon in Aylesbury. The staff were friendly and efficient. There was also a distinct lack of grey jogging bottoms amongst the clientele. In fact I didn't spot a single scumbag in the 4 hours that I was there last Friday (30/05/2025). Very refreshing. Great pub.

It should state on the menu that the bacon is more like very thin medallions, I think that whoever was cooking just threw my eggs onto the plate. At one time food here used to be fairly good , Breakfast not very warm at all, perhaps the microwave was burnt out, Would not recommend eating here, or rate the kitchen staff to be honest.

My wife and I went in there for a late lunch after walking around the town. We encountered an awesome bartender/server named Brandon. He took our order of meal and a drink. We both ordered burgers and a drink. The food was awesome. Very tasty and we received it quite quickly. We also ordered some additional drinks that were very enjoyable. The atmosphere was very elegant and historical. We loved the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it if visiting the area. I will most definitely do a Return visit when back in the area. Typical Weatherspoons pub...but extremely disappointed that they have now ceased to do my favourite mixed grill, or any other steaks (or gammon, that is my girlfriends favourite) ridiculous move for their business! So had to resort to some sort of breaded chicken for Nikki and all day brunch (fry up) for myself...disappointing

I've had the pleasure of visiting Toppers on four separate occasions since its reopening under new management, and each time has been an absolute delight. I've consistently ordered their fish and chips, trying a variety of sizes, and have also sampled their mushy peas and curry sauce. The food is truly amazing. Every order has been served piping hot, and the portions are incredibly generous, even with the smaller options. The fish is consistently perfect, packed with flavour, and the batter is, without a doubt, the best in town. Beyond the fantastic food, the staff are exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and polite, which really enhances the overall experience. It's also great to see that there's an option to dine in, adding to the convenience and appeal. The new management has done a phenomenal job, bringing a new favourite to the town centre. I would highly recommend Toppers to anyone looking for an outstanding fish and chip experience.

Its been a long time since I have been into town. I was surprised to see toppers had reopened. My husband and I enjoyed a lovely meal today 😋. Great service and food. Will definitely be going back.

Had the ‘seniors’ take away cod and chips for lunch. Ate it inside the shop on a table by the window. Brilliant value for money. Crisply battered tasty cod accompanied by a large portion of well cooked chip. Only £7.90. Friendly, smart and helpful staff and a rightfully proud happy owner. You won’t beat this place for value and taste. Ed.

Toppers has been in Nuneaton since dinosaurs roamed the earth. However, suddenly and without apparent reason, the owner retired and closed down. However, my wife and I recently noticed that they had re-opened. We decided to give the new owners a chance although we thought that the new owners would do well to even match the quality of the previous occupants. We were surprised to find that they didn't just match the previous owners standards, they surpassed them and some!! We has cod and chips and peas from the "meal deal" which included bread and butter and tea of a soft drink. The fish was thick, white flakes contained within a very tasty, non-greasy batter. The chips were very tasty and it was all brought to the table with a smile. The staff all wore the same uniform and the whole place was immaculate! We can definitely recommend the "new" Toppers when the urge for fish and chips takes you.

We used to go to toppers as a family years ago, used to be really food very friendly staff great atmosphere, I took my boyfriend in for the first time as he's never been before, I'm sorry to say we were very disappointed in service, the food took ages chips were hard not very warm, although the staff apologised didn't make us feel any better unfortunately we will not be going there again. Not as good as I thought it would be like it was before.

Gluten free!!! Very nice and clean place. This restaurant has its own cool atmosphere. I made order online to collect and eat at home, because I was in rush. I arrived too early, however staff allowed me to seat comfortable and wait for my order. I wish to give 5 stars, but unfortunately I get my Passion Fruit Semifreddo without Passion Fruit topping :( (due to bigger order I didn't check at restaurant, realised at home)

The food, service and atmosphere is top tier! I love the updated menu and the tapas options are bursting with flavour and presentation for a very reasonable price. The staff are so friendly and kind, they truly make this lounge unique and looked after us all evening, special shoutout to the fella with the ‘game over’ tattoo, he’s a real gem and asset to the restaurant! Looking forward to coming back.

My brother and my dog and I had Saturday lunch here. We all enjoyed it very much. Dogs are welcome which was great although there were no special services such as a dog menu or water bowels. I would have preferred the music a little quieter. It was loud enough that we and everyone else had to raise our voices to hear conversation which made the noise levels almost too much.

Tuesday Tapas deal was good! I think it was 3 tapas 12.95 including small wine or non alcoholic beverage. 2 people , 2 of those and was perfect! Hummus, guacamole, with bread and tortilla chips for dipping. Korean prawns were fantastic as well. Corn fritters were lovely and light. House wine not bad either and we finished with 2 cocktails. Passion fruit martini and a non alcoholic one that apparently - ElderGlow I think. You do order at the bar and it was rather empty but it's so expensive to eat out anymore. Tapas deal helps! Will go again for sure.

We just nipped into this place.As we are not from Nuneaton but a family member lives here. The welcome was lovely, the service was brilliant and the food and coffee was delicious. We would definitely come back here and recommend this place.

I am going to this coffee bar for some time and I was always happy with my omelettes. The only problem that they have is the delivery.. sometimes they don't have delivery man and eight have to get it through just eat or go and pick it up... But the personal from there is nice , food nice , not that busy and the chef know how to cook 👍🏼

Picked to go here for a full breakfast on Sunday morning. Cafe was busy with seating available inside and outside. Menus were on the table and after a few minutes, staff member came to take my order. table and cafe were very clean. Food was brought to me in a very short time - no real waiting. it was lovely and hot. paid in cash at the till. staff very friendly and polite. Will visit again.

Best Chinese in Nuneaton bar none. My only grievance they don’t deliver, and if the pub is very busy it can be a bit difficult to wait for your order to be made. Aside from that 10/10

Great pub and the Chinese food is always fantastic. They stop serving food at 2130hrs which is earlier than most Chinese places so get in early. There is often a bit of a wait so factor that in but it's worth the wait.

This is what I would define as a community pub The bar staff were very attentive.. beer good and a good selection of drinks. A huge bonus is the Chinese kitchen inside. Ordered a Chinese of crispy duck, special fried rice and sweet and sour source at 7.45 didn't get it till 9.30 after asking 3times where it was.. When we FINALLY got it, the crispy duck didn't have the sauce it should have, took the Micheal tonight, not happy.

The three-meat kebab in a tray was enjoyable. However, the chips were a letdown—they tasted more boiled than fried, likely due to steaming in the tray during the trip back home It seems they don’t travel well in this setup.

Ordered a 3 meat kebab tray and it was great. Portion size is large, price is really good, the food is prepared quickly, the food tasted great the sauces are good I went for bbq, sweet chilly and garlic mayo. The salad was decent, the meat was nice and tender, chips were pretty good as well, although I would have liked them crispier and a bit more salt, but that could have been because of the time they spent next to meat and sauce. The value is great, especially when they run their half price offers. I can see why it’s so popular in the area. Would order again without a doubt. I’ve also had one of their burgers which was also pretty good but the kebab is the best I’ve had although I haven’t tried the rest of their food besides the 2.

Asked for curry sauce and got this (image attached) definitely not curry sauce in any way, the kebab meat and chips is a lot of money for such a small portion, also ordered a fish and did not get given it and had to go back for it, whilst the order was getting made part of the food was getting cold on the counter. Would not recommend.👎

This is for the delivery I ordered. I specially asked for no chillies (red, green and no chilli powder). Ordered the chicken bhuna and mushroom balti and both were SO tasty. My worry when asking for no chillies is the food will be tasteless but not in this case. Was yummy! I didn't enjoy the paratha as much (it didn't taste too fresh but I think maybe delivery impacts this, I think eating in would be different) but I loved the vegetable pilau rice.

Not gonna lie, absolutely bloody incredible food - I'm pretty honest when it comes to food, and very rarely do I have a flawless Indian, but this was genuinelly the closest I've ever come! Nann was crisp, chicken was plentiful and super tasty, egg fried rice was flavourful.... 10/10, friendly service, top food - Would recommend!

Honestly the worst meal I've ever eaten. Small valentines menu with nothing Italian on. Lamb was so overcooked and hard that you couldn't cut it or chew it. Chicken was just a frozen boiled mess on a plate and somehow they thought it was acceptable to charge £40 per set menu when you could see the real menu total would have reached below £25. Told the waiter, nothing fixed. Do not recommend anyone ever go here.

Visited here in a group of seven on Thursday evening. The restaurant was fairly quiet and I didn't have too much trouble parking (street parking close by). We all ordered different meals, pasta, pizza and risotto, the pizza was huge and all plates looked appetising. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the seafood risotto, it was tasty. It would have been a nice touch to be provided with a finger bowel for the mussel shells but I wasn't bothered enough to request one 😊 just feed back. The staff were pleasant and attentive.

A hidden gem! It looks nothing from the outside but inside the decor and atmosphere is lovely. The service and staff was exemplary. We had the fillet pepper steak, which was lovely - if I’m being picky, our medium steak was a tad overcooked but still lovely. Will definitely be returning to try other dishes on the menu. I would of liked the background music to be Italian (rather than soft rock)

The menu has good selection and well priced. Portions are big, definitely value for money. The wine selection was good too. Staff are friendly, polite and attentive. The restaurant area is modestly and tastefully decorated, not over the top. If you fancy a nice, lovely Italian dinner and what to try something different from what the usual chain restaurants offer, this is the place for you!

The best pizza I have ever had. This puts any restaurant in a 50 mile radius to shame. Perfect base and not skimpy on the toppings either. The price is fair given the way the world is, the bill can easily rack up but it is worth it for the quality of the food, just worth being aware of that. The staff are really friendly, very professional, make you feel at home and always have a smile. The tables are very nicely set and the square knives are a different touch (you'll see what I mean when you go) Overall, an amazing experience, can't wait to go back, this has more than replaced Dominos.

Myself and my friend went on Monday. We both had pies. My friend had mash with his. He complained that the mash was very dry one of the girls said they would let the chef know. He then asked for a Jason and coke to which he was told there wasn’t any left but could clearly see a bottle on the shelf behind the bar. When we asked about it we was told it was empty…. As we were leaving my friend said he paid £14.95 for a pie and packet mash One of the girls turn around and said “it is smash and!” Like it wasn’t an issue. The service was pretty rude this time too. We used to go all the time but haven’t been for a while due to Christmas and birthdays. Regret the whole hour we spent there! Will no be returning! Such a shame because the management is amazing and very polite cannot do enough usually but seems to go down hill when they aren’t in.

Went with a family group of 10 for Sunday lunch, only one person bringing the meals out so by the time the last meal was placed on the table I had already finished mine. That apart the food was ok and the staff were pleasant. Price of food and drinks very acceptable.

Had a lovely and very large Sunday lunch. New landlords taken over, and there first day for serving Sunday lunches today.. Well done, hope you keep it going. We will be regular visitors.

Sunday lunch. Half a slice of meat. Vegetables all rock hard severely undercooked. Would have been better off spending £10 at maccies. ( I wouldn't throw money away there if I was desperate) but Yorkie was nice....rest went straight in the bin.

Placed a large order in the week to be delivered on Saturday. Phoned to say that it was being packed and would be delivered shortly. Lovely lady bought everything all packed in a box. Everything there and everyone was said how nice it was. Always have great fish and chips from here and would certainly recommend especially if you’re thinking of a large order.

I called in Saturday I was waiting to be served and was next in the queue. There was 3 servers , 2 were busy and the 3rd server (the old lady) turned her back on me and walked away. I was next to be served but had to wait as she walked away. I always find when I am served by her she’s unfriendly and sour faced. Your food is always delicious but your staff need training to treat customers more politely. And not turn and walk away when a customer is next and waiting to be served. Very rude.

Had a delivery last night and food was superb , piping hot and fresh

Feeling very much in want of some Chinese and finding the Golden Bridge open on a Monday, we gave them a try. Would rate them as cheap and cheerful, but could be better. We ordered quite a few things totalling around £45: chicken and sweetcorn soup, hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken, bbq ribs, special fried rice, salt and chilli chicken, char sui pork with vegetables, large meat spring rolls, and we got prawn crackers and 2 fortune cookies for free. Let's start by saying the soup was the best part of the meal and set me up for a bit of a disappointment. Mine was the hot and sour soup which was absolutely beautiful, would definitely get again and have with prawn toast by itself! The rice was delicious along with the salt and chilli chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was made separately from the sauce and was slightly dry. The spring rolls were as my partner described as ' a bean sprout sandwich'. It had no flavour or meat to be seen or tasted. Had we no sauce it would have been left. The ribs were a bit tough and the char sui pork with vegetables was ok. Had everything been flavoured and cooked accordingly then it would have been rated higher. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. It's collection and cash only which was a little inconvenient. Food was slightly late, but everything was hot! Would go back for somethings, but not a whole meal. Parking is difficult so be prepared to walk a bit.

Noodle soup wasn't cooked well. No salt or spices in them. Singapore Fried rice was good. Salt and pepper chicken and malay spicy chicken were both same, felt like cooked those item from same off the shelf chicken ready made stuff from Korean shop.

Fits that craving if you are feeling lazy. I find the chicken fried rice a little bland but add some soy sauce and sesame oil. Decent chop suey and fresh bean sprouts. Love the projection lighting for the sign on the heritage building. Great idea. You can phone in order and collect and pay in person so no waiting as there's only a few seats. To be fair they can do better with the food. Fall in love with Chinese Cuisine again. 👀 I can see people named dishes negatively and can understand why. Hope reviews will encourage change.

Absolutely awful! Went to collect order after advised 50 minutes. Waited there for 10 minutes while she answered the phone and served two people that came after me. Literally didn't even acknowledge me! The food was even worse. The salt and pepper chips were greasy and so over fried they were hollow inside. The vegetable 'sping rolls' ( which I clarified on the order as he said ' pancake rolls) was full of meat and prawns. Lucky we aren't vegetarians! Worst £22 ever.

Been going here at least 20 years & never been let down once! ☺ Because of its popularity it can be busy on a Saturday night but the team work hard to keep the waiting time down & the food is still fantastic! Since writing this review the restaurant phoned at 10:35PM and demanded that I take my review down because it affects their rating…..No apologies for the disgusting mess they sent me or for waking me. Pizza edges burnt, but dough raw in the centre. Covered in grease. Very chewy, made my jaw ache just trying to eat it. Cheesy garlic bread hardly had any cheese on it and only sprinkled with a herb. Zero taste of garlic Waited 1 hour 45 minutes even though we are 6 minutes away. Avoid at all costs, will never order here again.

Amazing Service, Best Burgers in Nuneaton, Lovely Atmosphere and Comfortable Seating. Firstly the burgers were of such high quality and beautifully presented. The variety of loaded fries are truly special - chilli fries, Indian masala fries with chicken, and Italian fries with mozzarella & herbs. The waitress was the most attentive, kind, calm and helpful we have ever come across. Great with excited kids, took our large group order like an expert, and made some very complicated changes for those with dietary needs. The milkshakes and mocktails were massive in size and top quality. We cannot wait to try the breakfast and dessert menu.

The owner then came in and offered a can of drink in which I thought was absolutely distasteful in relation to the inconvenience caused Avoid at all costs, I will never be ordering from here again and I will advise anyone else not to do so!

Where else in Nuneaton can you sample an Indian street food breakfast in cool, coffee shop surroundings, served by lovely chatty staff? I’d love a few tunes simmering away in the background. From the look of the espresso machine set up I’m sure they make a mean coffee. Interestingly, in the afternoon Crave Coffee craft a handsome range of award winning burgers. The chef is a person of many talents!

I love burger so much, and I sincerely think this place serves the best chicken fillet burger in Leicestershire!! Do try the chicken fillet special burger that comes with hash browns. At first I ate it while I am hungry, tasted very good. 2nd time I came I ordered two, this time both are spicy options. Yeap, still tastes good. Since then, I came regularly after work to have dinner here. I also tried the pizza and chicken wrap. Every food is well prepared. Price wise it is reasonable for the portion. Facilities are clean and well kept. Friendly staff. Nearest parking is at the Pool Bank Street car park, plenty of space, £1.50 for three hours.

Avoid at all costs! After ordering for delivery, and being told 10 mins, over an hour later I headed to the shop myself to find out what was going on to find, not only had they not even bothered to send my order out, but they’d actually took the wrong order in the first place! Instead of apologising, the individual working there said “well what can I do”?! I requested to complain to the manager, (apparently the individual at the front desk is also the manager), so requested to speak to the owner who again, completely deflected, was rude, arrogant and advised he didn’t really care whether customers came back or not. Avoid at all costs, no care for the customer and the food is mediocre - head down the road to Queens Fish and Grill instead, great service and great food every week. I’m sure they’ll contact me after this to take the review down so they can continue to lie to their customers 😃

Nice options from breakfast to lunch. Great burgers with options to add extras. Halloumi salad is so filling with a nice sweet chilli sauce, it's my go to order.

We went to this place for lunch on a Monday afternoon. We arrived around 12 o clock and unfortunately did not get all our food until 1 o clock. The 2 jacket potatoes we had were nice but the 2 wraps we had were quite cold. The place weren’t very busy and the music was too loud. It wouldn’t of made a difference where we sat thought since the loud speakers were above most tables. Overall, it was good value but the thing that knocked our experience down was how long the food took and some food was quite cold.

Probably the best of its type in town, certainly the cheapest cappuccinos! Friendly staff, quick to clear/clean tables. Excellent menu caters for all. Informed of expected delays when ordering. My "go to" place whenever I'm in town.

It first time I went to this lovely cafe, there were plenty of choices on the menu! No stairs to go inside, got stairs I think more table and chairs maybe. The food was yummy. Got more tables and chairs outside too. Very friendly community cafe as well.

Was pretty busy, so was told food would be 20-25 minutes. Was in a bit of a rush, so was cutting it fine. Over 40 mins later and still no food, and no communication from any staff about further delays, so asked for and received a refund. Left feeling hungry. Not enough staff prepping food, they’ve got no chance of keeping all the customers happy.

Best ‘a la carte’ breakfast for miles around. Been a few times before but had a morning spare so mad a trip from Coventry for a great breakfast. Good food, lovely people.

During my second visit on my lunch break, I decided to try the jacket potato with cheese and curry, and I must say, it was absolutely delicious and flawless. Fran, the owner, was incredibly friendly, which added to the overall experience. I would highly recommend this small, independently run establishment to anyone in the area, as the food is truly excellent.

Omg i don’t even have words for this place! Ordered chicken curry and it was just some soggy chicken that was all shredded in more like a tomato sauce and in one of those foil trays which made the sauce just go everywhere. Chips were rock hard and raw and came in a chip shop paper which was weird. Prawn crackers stale and smelled terrible. Partner had mushroom foo yung and was just swimming in water and the prawn toast were like bullets. Has got to be the worry Chinese I have ever had. Avoid like the plague

Found the woman behind the counter incredibly rude. Asked a simple question about the food and just got a frown and a nod of the head. Looked as if I was stupid. The menu should be more specific if they don't want people asking questions. Food was bang average but won't be returning. My advise is to go to the Chinese down the road....far better food and customer service. Prices were high here for the small portions.

Original gave a 5* review but after my most recent visit. The woman behind the counter was very rude. Really enjoyed the food but felt massively belittled by her even called my girlfriend “fella” when picking up the order.

Very underwhelmed. £5 for this fish smaller than thd palm of my hand. What was this a gold fish? I wouldn't have had the nerve to sell that. The server was very friendly though. UPDATE... wasn't sure if the cardboard strips AKA the chips were for eating or recycling? Either way they have now contributed to the landfill.

Never had a bad meal from here. The chips are always cooked brilliantly, the portions for everything are generous. Try the gravy - the flavour is amazing. If you go midweek there's always a member of staff - Laura - who is friendly and clearly enjoys her job. You'll always get great service with the great food.

The staff are nice, but the food is overpriced. If I pay £6.50 for the kebab, salad and chips "meal" deal, I want a meal, not something that fits on a side plate. It should not be a bit of meat, mostly lettuce and 7 chips. I know times are hard, but that is ridiculous. The chippy down the road does a decent kebab with pitta and salad for £6.50. If you want the same here, it is £9, unless you just want meat in a tray. It is rare I can afford takeout anymore, I consider it a treat, so I don't want to leave a place wishing I'd just kept the money.

Visited Subway at Bermuda Park, Nuneaton on the Monday 19th May 2025. Went to the ordering area where the sandwiches get prepared, before when it was my turn to order what I wanted. A member of staff asked me if I entered my vehicle registration onto a kiosk screen, I said I didn’t. Than she showed me a kiosk screen next to the ordering area to put my vehicle registration. She said “when you enter vehicle registration details, you’ll avoid a fine” I expressed my gratitude by thanking her. (more info about parking conditions/restrictions, will be detailed in the ‘parking bit’ underneath this review. After I did this, I went to the ordering area and ordered a Footlong veggie patty and 3 Chocolate Chunk cookies. I ate inside the restaurant and the food was OK to good as expected. This place has a lot of seating.

I had to travel here from Weddington as the Horeston Grange branch is now Halal (Bermuda isn’t). I’ve had a few bad experiences lately with various subway's, but the service and food here today was great. Happy staff, good food portions and both the lady and man that served me (around 2.30pm) were helpful and friendly. Thanks

been coming here almost weekly for the last year, one of the female staff members (short and younger) always rolls her eyes at my and my partner when all were doing is standing there, just a few minutes ago she was shouting arguing with another staff member and did not stop when another customers came in, touched her face and rubbed her nose then went to do my food (with the same glove) always so rude throwing food and clearly not caring. one staff member with glasses is always so sweet and amazing at her job however we always dread the young woman doing our food

Staff was throwing around my breakfast sandwich. It's disgusting, totally put us off from food. Also staff should warn the customers about the car parking charges(if you don't register use their machine in Subway, then you'll receive £100 fine) Otherwise no one will notice about small machine with small notice board standing near by cashier. Totally not happy at all, I'll never ever go there again!!

Lovely place. The food was excellent and very nicely served by the students. Nice atmosphere which was enhanced by the crowd in from, probably, the local WI. We had a three course meal and a nice cuppa to finish. I partook of the chocolate brownie and I have to say it was the nicest one I've ever had.

Bought take away pizza from these guys whilst staying at Hampton by Hilton just up the road. I'm not normally a huge fan of Domino's, but they had a 'any pizza for £8.99' offer on the go so I had a vegan veggie pizza - not the best, but definitely not the worst I've ever eaten. Cool staff too.

How is it possible that they don't have glasses? We have placed an order for three people and they want us to drink 1.25L of Coca Cola from the bottle. They tell us to go buy glasses at the store in front. It has been very bad attention. Ah! And they didn't give us a refund of the soft drink either, they told us it couldn't be done. Quite possibly the worst Texas BBQ Pizza I have eaten. Extremely thick layers of BBQ sauce which ruined the whole taste of the pizza due to how over-powering it became. The pizza had very little toppings so I was just eating dough and BBQ sauce. Had to throw 3 slices away. Staff were fine but the Pizza was horrible! 🤢

Don’t make the mistake of ordering from here, they’ll lie to you, make you wait for ages for the delivery, just for it to never turn up. Waited well over an hour for a delivery that is less than a mile away. Called them to ask them where the order is, 2 guys claimed they don’t have the order and might be at a different branch. Called that branch they said it’s not here, double checked the maps on my delivery app and it says abbey street. Called them again and they then changed their answer and said the delivery man is 5 mins away. Waited over an hour for it to never turn up. Gonna order from Pizza Hut now

Rudest person I have ever met is actually taking the orders, short Indian chap with glasses and tattoo on the hand is the person to avoid at all cost. I can’t understand how domino’s hire this type of people where they don’t care about hospitality and people. I always ordered online but today since we entered our first house we decided to pop in the store and celebrate some quality time but never ever again. After a good happy day that guy just ruined our evening. I feel when you spend so much money all you deserve is a good service and good food. I’m not complaining about the pizza though.

Really disappointed, have been their always order pizza request for use toilet been refuse ,,need to spend extra quid for bottle of water for hand wash , Poor communication front man need more maner ,looks like he is been forcing to do job , they should be more professional as they are representing frenchise not their local business. Bought two 7 inch pizzas and a 7 inch garlic bread. Pizzas @ £2.99 and was charged £15.97. When queried the server said one of the pizzas was dearer than the other?

The concept behind this place is great (it's a community regeneration project) but service was a bit slow and the menu was limited. For some reason there were 7 varieties of loaded chips. Why not include some healthier options like soup? But jacket potato and coffee tasted fine.

I went here with my toddler and I for once could just relax whiles she was playing in the play area. Usually I would only have 30 minutes to relax and eat but I was there for 2 hours while she was playing. More places should do this.

A child friendly town centre dining establishment with bonus activities such as LEGO and a play area to keep the children entertained. Friendly staff and affordable prices. Pretty much the only place in Town Centre that I take the kids now. If you ask nicely they may let you see the old dance hall under restoration upstairs - a hidden gem.

Great place! A little play area for smaller kids to play in (toddler age) Lego club on a Saturday. Friendly owners and staff make it a great place to come back to again and again. They put a lot of effort in to this historical building, Keep it up!

Didn't know this place existed! But lovely cafe. There is a small children's play area (I would suggest up to 4 years). What I really like is the small local stalls from homemade soaps to homegrown veg dotted around the place, I think it's a great idea and everywhere should do this! I like this place as it's a bit different to a regular bar, it has some sophisticated charm about it while being modern and welcoming. I drink the real ales which are good and noted there are several keg beers and ciders also available. Personally I'm not a cocktail drinker but they seem to sell very well.

A great addition to the area. A good range of beers, spirits, and decent cocktails too.

I am at fuel every weekend with my friends. We honestly couldn’t say enough about the staff. Especially Adam. He always greets us with a warm welcome and great service. Nice friendly pub that serves beer and Gurkha food. They serve a nice pint of Guinness. Today I ordered chilli pork momos one of my favourite dishes .. however I did not enjoy it at all .. it had way too much chilli on it and totally ruined my meal

Came to the Gurkha corner today and must say there’s a young lady behind the bar. I believe her name to be Hope, her customer service is impeccable welcomed me with a smile, the food is also amazing definitely will be returning regularly. Along with all other staff being so polite and welcoming, I recommend the momos 😍

Great place for a social function or just drop in for a beer. Back room is large and suitable for family get togethers, there's a stage and the room has a good vibe. Front room is a traditional bar that also serves Gurkha food. Outdoor seating area overlooking Coton road.

Absolutely love this place. Friendly staff, great food, great function room, great choice of drinks. Pool, snooker, Darts, sky sports tv. Best in area. By far.

Travelled 15 miles for this fish and chip shop on recommendation and its worth every mile. The chips are clean, perfectly cooked and the portion is good. The fish is delicious and the batter......oh the batter!....its simply the best we've tasted, ever. Finally, it's hard to find words to express how simply divine the pea fritters are. I would happily travel the same 15 miles just for the pea fritter. Highly recommended, 5 stars, 10/10 on everything. Well chuffed!

my wife and I love sitting in the square eating fish and chips but about 3 months ago the fish and chips had been standing to long I thought ok a one off. The next 3 times really good.then again last night chips not good my fish was alright but my wife's minni fish dry not nice. Maybe we timed it wrong 6.30 ish but I would have thought that would have been a busy time. Went again Monday 25/08/2025 the fish chips and mushy peas were absolutely delicious

I went Monday 12th may. Ordered a gravy mega box and as I went to pay they said their gravy’s sell by date has passed so they offered me alternative sides which I don’t like so I said no thank you. The lady gave me gravy and said they had some she just didn’t check properly and as I got the gravy the sticker was peeled off it. I went back and asked about it but she told me it was “falling off” which is a lie because when I pressed my finger against the glue it was sticking to it so no way the paper came off it. I have a picture of the lid Very convenient how the sticker was falling off the lid which was out of date until that cancelled my order and then all of a sudden it was in date. 🥴

That was the worst experience I've had at kfc, food was terrible, dry and cold, chicken strips looked a dead mouse. Service was dreadful literally forgot everything and sounded dead, clearly didn't want to be there

I have been coming every Friday for a while and everytime they forget half my order and I have to go in and ask for it and they are never apolegitic. I waited one hour in the drive thru this evening with only 4 cars ahead of me for raw chips and an attitude from the women, there was no sign to say we were ordering at the pay kiosk and when I told the women she shut the windows on me then went to her coworkers and started laughing. The place was empty, I can see why now absolutely horrific.

The staff are so friendly here and the food was hot, so it tasted much nicer . Even my husband commented on it being one of the best KFC drive throughs we've even been to .

Changed a lot since I last visited. It seems a lot smaller now. Hamburger was quick and luke warm, and that's being generous . Nice leather sofa is the highlight if I were eating in.

ordered food, it was shocking. it was cold, dry, there was mayo all over my food to the point you couldn’t pick it up without getting mayo on you and all you could taste was mayo. my partner and i felt really ill after eating some of the food. tried to call the place and got no answer.

Struggled to park as most spaces were taken by the delivery service people. Then order wouldn't go through on self serve and it told us to order at counter so went to counter and no one came to take our order or even acknowledge us. Absolutely rubbish place, so we went to KFC to spend my money instead where the service was loads better.

The new style stores are brilliant. Space to breathe and you can actually see where you need to go for the shopping you've come for. Nice one.

Nice polite staff. Hot food and got all the items I paid for. They even asked if I wanted sauce where other macdonald's don't bother giving you sauce unless you specifically ask for it.
