European restaurant
Noma, located in Copenhagen, is a renowned gastronomic destination led by Chef Rene Redzepi. The restaurant gained global recognition when it was named the world's best in 2010, marking a shift in the city's dining scene. While traditional Danish dishes like meatballs and smorrebrod remain available, Noma symbolizes the transformation of Nordic cuisine with its emphasis on organic, locally-sourced ingredients without compromising quality.
Totally lived up to the hype. We went in skeptical and were immediately impressed. Easily top 5 for me after many many 3* restaurants. The food was fantastic but what really made noma incredible was the service and atmosphere. Everything felt like clockwork but also genuine and warm at the same time.

Ever since I could afford to travel and try the best food in the world, Noma has been at the top of the list. For over half a decade, I have been trying to get a booking, no matter what season, and I’ve been panicked since I heard the rumours of their imminent closure. Despite all that, after years of trying, a booking for Noma 2.0’s Summer Season finally was in the cards. I was a bit skeptical going into this, with the expectation of it being the “best meal of my life” so far. I love meat, so I was a bit worried with the vegetable focused menu. Boy, was I completely caught with my pants down. Long story short, Noma does live up to its reputation and has claimed its title, in my books, as the best meal of my life so far. I think the careful consideration of the produce, the specialization of Noma’s fermentation techniques, as well as the attention to detail by the staff, truly showcases why Noma deserves the flowers it’s been getting for the better part of two decades. If we’re being nitpicky, the dessert courses were a bit lacking, with the second nut ice cream dessert doing the heavy lifting (absolutely a favourite dessert from recent memory). Speaking on the savoury courses, I’ve typically come to notice a pattern with Michelin/fine dining. There will be a handful of dishes that are pretty “meh”, a good chunk of “wow that’s good”, and maybe, just maybe one or two “holy that’s amazing”. Noma’s savoury dishes had a “holy that’s amazing” almost entirely across the board. I can maybe think of 1 or 2 that were “wow that’s good” and no “meh” dishes. To highlight my absolute favourites: the wasabi leaf bouquet, the rose octopus with peaso sauce, and my absolute favourite dish, the flower salad with caramelized barley koji. To further add to that, the service provided by the staff is bar none, the best we’ve received. From warm welcomes, enthusiastic explanations, and even making note of our pace and matching it accordingly, their attention to detail truly is one-of-a-kind I’m truly grateful to have dined at Noma and really understood how they’ve come to impact the food scene globally. I highly recommend making the journey here, I know that if I’m lucky to get a reservation for Game & Forest Season, I’ll drop everything to make it!

I have mixed feelings about my Noma experience. I have been following the restaurant and Rene Redzepi for some years now and dining at Noma was very high on my bucket list. After being on the waiting list for a while, we finally got a reservation which coincidentally landed at my birthday. My wife and I made a 2,000km (round) trip just for this dinner. The expectations therefore were high and excitement to the max. The location of the restaurant is exceptional, to see how a restaurant with this pedigree operates was an unforgettable experience, I was star struck by seeing Chef Redzepi in person. The staff take care of you from the very beginning until the end. The kitchen is an impressive machinery of people. The restaurant itself is beautiful, cozy and welcoming. The whole setting is nothing short of perfect. Now the food, our experience included 16 courses and wine pairing, I can recognize all the research, technique and passion put into every dish, the presentation, textures and flavors you encounter are special and unexpected. There is a big but though, for me food is a big passion and what defines the dishes I remember is ultimately the pleasure that they generate when I put them in my mouth and I have to painfully say, there was maybe one of the 16 courses that came close to that but not close enough. In summary, the box is ticked but the excitement and all the expectation was clouded by the failure to bring joy to my mouth.

A truly remarkable restaurant, which I cannot recommend enough. We were there for ocean season and as expected every dish was unexpected and remarkable. It was a very well balanced menu, with more experimental dishes balanced by more traditional dishes. We felt very at ease at the friendly and more casual atmosphere and we were truly impressed by the thoughtfulness, quality, fun, thoughtfulness, novelty and balance in the entire menu. The pairing was excellent as well. I cannot wait to see what happens next at Noma. Thanks!

Best restaurant I have ever been to. From the beginning you feel like a good friend of the restaurant - everyone is so nice and friendly in a very casual way. The food is something special and unique in a way which only Noma is making it. If you ever have the chance - grab it!

We were here for a pop-up event with ice cream and coffee as well as tasting of Noma's amazing creations. Following up on the pop up, we have now dined at Noma. We got the summer menu sitting at the shared table including 10 couples. This was a great experience, meeting different people from all over the world here for Noma! The settings are amazing! What a vibe! The team is the highlight! 60 employees working in sync, and in the center of the restaurant to serve 60 diners. The food was creative and attractive as well as tasty. But... If you are looking for flavors that wow you, I did not get that. It was more of a total experience and the story behind the food. Also, while the wine pairing was very good, the juice pairing was less so, with all but two of the juices tasting like watered down versions saving calories. At the end of the evening, drink still in hand we were taken on a tour of the restaurant. The tour ended at a door where we were shown out - we'll have to see if we can get a drink in the lounge another time. I want to thank the amazing team for being how they are! So many smiles, welcoming us and genuinely being there for the diners!
Benjamin L — Google review
A once in a lifetime experience. We were there for the first night of the summer menu and loved it. We sat at the shared dining table and it exceeded our expectations. It was lovely meeting people from around the world and experiencing the meal together. The food is creative, inspiring, and inventive. The wine pairing was fantastic and featured many unique bottles and winemakers. They also infused inspiration from their time in Japan throughout the meal and paired some dishes with sake. The staff went above and beyond during the entire meal. They also gave us a tour of the restaurant and Noma Projects after dinner. So grateful to have experienced Noma and meet all the staff that make the magic happen!

TorvehallerneKBH is a bustling indoor marketplace in Copenhagen, offering a wide array of local produce, gourmet foods, beverages, and desserts. With 60 stands to explore, food enthusiasts can indulge in everything from tasty snacks to Scandinavian delicacies. Visitors can shop for sustainably farmed heritage meats, artisanal breads and cheeses, as well as local specialties like curried herring and fiskefrikadeller (fish cakes) from independent stalls.
Two markets with a fabulous selection. Everything from ready made options to fresh ingredients, drinks, cookware, it’s a lovely spot, plenty of seating. We had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed it.

TorvehallerneKBH is a vibrant hub of Copenhagen’s food scene, combining the buzz of a modern food hall with the charm of a local market. Spread across indoor and outdoor areas, it offers endless culinary variety, from fresh produce and gourmet ingredients to artisan coffee, pastries, and global street food. There’s plenty of seating inside and out, making it a great place to linger and savour the atmosphere. It can get quite busy, especially on weekends, but the energy adds to its appeal. Think of it as a more bespoke version of a Time Out Market, lively, delicious, and absolutely worth a visit.
Danny B — Google review
The Torvehallerne Market in Copenhagen is an absolute delight and a must-visit for food lovers. Located right in the city center, it offers a vibrant mix of fresh produce, gourmet specialties, and international street food, all under one roof. The atmosphere is lively yet welcoming, with stalls full of color, aromas, and flavors from around the world. You can find everything from freshly baked bread, pastries, and cheeses to seafood, spices, and beautifully prepared meals. It’s the perfect place to sample Danish delicacies as well as global cuisine, making every visit a culinary adventure. What makes Torvehallerne especially enjoyable is the quality — everything feels fresh, carefully selected, and full of flavor. The vendors are friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to share recommendations or let you try something new. It’s not just a market but also a social hub: locals shopping for ingredients, tourists tasting street food, and groups of friends enjoying drinks together. With its central location and wide variety, it’s the ideal stop whether you want a quick bite, a foodie experience, or just to soak in the lively atmosphere of Copenhagen. In short, Torvehallerne is a top highlight of the city — stylish, delicious, and unforgettable.

Plentiful market with a variety of different fresh foods and eats all in one area. It is very close to the Nørreport Station, making it really accessible and convenient. There are juice shops, fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, and much more. You can come here for local shopping or to eat some really good food. This place has really good ice cream and juice as well! Highly recommend visiting.

Lively market with lots of great food options! • Ma Poule – I had the Pluma Rossini. The foie gras paired with pork was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended! • Hallernes Smørrebrød – A great way to taste traditional Danish open-faced sandwiches. They offer different flavors, and I tried the smoked salmon and blue cheese. The presentation was beautiful and perfect for photos. • Hav – I tried their sashimi platter and oysters. Super fresh and tasty!

This was the standout attraction for us in our 4 day stay in Copenhagen, and we came here every morning for breakfast, stocked up on cheese and salads for lunch, dropped in for tea, coffee and pastries, and twice for dinner. There’s, a small, overpriced fruit and vegetable market between the two buildings, but the real stars here are the specialist stalls inside selling pastries, snacks, cheese and meats, fresh seafood, tea and coffee and just about anything else you can think of. It’s not the biggest food hall in Europe, so it’s easy to navigate, but every stall is a gem. A must visit, often, on any trip to Copenhagen.
Stephen S — Google review
TorvehallerneKBH is an amazing food market i the heart of Copenhagen! I visited looking for fresh stenbiderrogn (lumpfish roe), which is only available during the spring season. The vendors were friendly, knowledgeable, and gave great tips on how to enjoy the roe. I bought fresh roe and made a traditional Danish dish at home: small pancakes with a dollop of sour cream, finely chopped onion, and fresh roe on top. It was absolutely delicious - delicate, creamy, and festive. Perfect spot for anyone looking for high-quality seafood and traditional Danish delicacies. Highly recommend!

Extraordinary! Phenomenal class with Billy where we cooked a delicious menu and he did plate presentations that were plates of art. Easy enough for anyone who loves to cook! Just a delightful and informative evening. If you are looking for outstanding recipes and food do not miss taking a private or group class. Ingredients are common and can be found anywhere. We can’t wait to make this dinner at home! Best cooking class I’ve taken in 50 years!!!!

Had a great time at the brunch cooking class! The chef was fun, instructions were clear, and the group was super friendly. A lovely experience whether you're a tourist or a resident. Went with my husband and we really enjoyed it!

Thank you to Gray and all of the staff to put this brilliantly led class together. Me and my friend booked this as a last activity before we flew back home to London. I highly recommend this class, we learned how to make many different pastries, and got to take them home with us to our families :) Highlight of my trip, second being the canal tour!
Alisa E — Google review
I joined a private Danish pastry class in Copenhagen and it was absolutely amazing! 🥐✨ The experience was fun, hands-on, and so delicious. I learned so much about the art of making authentic Danish pastries, from technique to little baking secrets. Everything we made turned out incredible; crispy, buttery, and flavorful. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Copenhagen who wants to enjoy a truly memorable (and tasty!) experience!

We did a pastry class as part of a family reunion trip. My sister booked it and I admittedly wasn't horribly excited before we got there (I'm not really a baker) but it turned into a highlight of the trip. We had about 25 people ranging in age from 3 to 82. The instructor managed the chaos of a big boisterous group well. I would definitely recommend it as part of a trip.

A Must do!!!! Our family took a private Danish Baking class with Martina. Everyone had a BLAST. My three boys and elderly MIL equally enjoyed the experience. The class was 100% hands on with easy to follow step by step instructions. Our instructor was so warm, friendly, patient and an excellent teacher. She was extremely encouraging and the pastries turned out DELICIOUS! They were flaky, buttery and so tasty. We all felt like superheroes. We made 7 pastries each and after stuffing our faces still had a huge vox of goodies to take home. We ate them when they were just out of the oven and it was heaven. Additionally, the cooking is gorgeous. It’s located in a cute neighborhood on the second floor. It’s spacious, airy, with tons of sunlight and beautifully appointed. If we had more time we would have signed up for another class. Don’t visit Copenhagen without taking a class!!!
Delphine V — Google review
One of my favorite things we did on our visit to Copenhagen! Highly recommend the danish pastry making class. It was fun to follow along, the instructor was so helpful and sweet, the other students in the class were great and then you get a bunch of pastries to eat in the end. Overall a great time!!!!
Audriana G — Google review
Took the cardamom bun class and found it underwhelming. No explanation of the history of the bun and how it’s become such a popular treat in Sweden and Copenhagen. Also gave very minimal instruction which was not helpful so felt like a free for all. They also made you remove the cardamom seeds by hand from the pod and make the filling by hand so we could “feel” how it’s made which I thought was just ridiculous. No modern baker is shelling cardamom pods or making a sugar paste with their fingers at home. Also not an efficient use of people’s time. *edits below following the owners response: If you haven’t taken several cooking classes before or you don’t bake regularly at home, you may enjoy the class more than I did. I don’t think it’s a profound insight to discover that cardamom seeds come inside pods. It’s common knowledge or easily discoverable if you simply walk through a spice store or spice aisle of a market. In other classes I’ve been to in the past, they provide some history about the pastry you are learning about and explanation of techniques used and why. None of which happened in any memorable detail during the 2 hours+ I was there. If you just want a fun activity to do with lower expectations, this is a perfectly adequate class. 3/5 is a fair review in my view sorry if you feel it’s rude of me to be honest!

Restaurant
Geranium is a renowned Nordic terroir restaurant located on the 8th floor in Faelledparken, Copenhagen. The restaurant offers panoramic views of the park and the city skyline. Led by award-winning chef Rasmus Koefed, Geranium provides a unique dining experience with its high-concept cooking and multiple-course tasting menus. The elegant design and spacious tables complement the exquisite dishes that challenge diners' senses.
The food here is absolutely delicious. It’s a 3-Michelin-star restaurant located inside a stadium. The atmosphere is open and airy, creating a relaxed and pleasant vibe. The staff are very polite and friendly from the moment you arrive. The dishes mainly feature plant-based ingredients, vegetables, fruits, and fish. Each course is creatively composed, full of surprises in both presentation and flavor. The taste? Undeniably outstanding. While dining, you can watch the chefs in an open kitchen carefully plating each dish, a performance in itself. The full experience lasts a little over three hours. After the savory courses, the staff will take you on a short tour including exclusive areas such as the private rooms, wine cellar, and kitchen. The meal concludes with a dessert course and a lovely gift bag to take home.
Tarin K — Google review
Simply incredible. It’s clear why Geranium won the #1 best restaurant in the world a couple of years ago. Please do yourself a BIG favor and get the juice pairing. It was the best pairing I’ve ever done (and I’m including done dozens of wine and NA pairings). Flavors of both the pairings and within the dishes themselves were executed at a level I didn’t know was possible, especially for so many veggie dishes. And I truly enjoyed everything. There wasn’t a single dish I felt like they missed on, which I can only say I’ve experienced a couple of times, even at 3 star restaurants. 10/10 - can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Copenhagen.
Conor H — Google review
An unforgettable dialogue between flavor and soul. My dinner at Geranium was nothing short of extraordinary — and I have to say, the wine pairing was the best I’ve ever experienced in any restaurant so far. It wasn’t just about complementing the dishes — the pairing elevated each course to another dimension entirely. From the very first bite of Oysters in crispy algae, the meal began like a whisper from the ocean — delicate yet powerful. The lightly smoked bleak roe balanced gentle smokiness with a milky, comforting depth — a true Nordic poem. Later, dishes like King crab with pickled pumpkin and the celeriac & truffle “soup” showcased stunning balance and harmony, both in flavor and texture. But the wine pairing was the soul of the experience — every glass was chosen with such precision that it didn’t just match the dish; it completed it. The acidity, aroma, and timing of each pour felt like a symphony written for the palate. Every element — pacing, light, service, and even tableware — reflected Geranium’s mastery. It’s not about extravagance here; it’s about the quiet power of nature, clarity, and emotion.

This dinner is on my top 10 favorite dinners. It was worth every penny :) Book it :) they definitely deserve their 3 stars. I really enjoyed every aspect of this dinner,I chose the juice pairings and each one went very well with each dish :) Just a fantastic experience all around. Plus the kitchen overlooks a soccer field, (get the tour of the restaurant) the wine cellar and private dining area Just a stunner of a restaurant you have to see it!!!

Dining at Geranium years ago left a lasting impression, from its striking design to the unparalleled food and service. The memory of my 12 course tasting menu is as fresh and inspiring as ever. The meal was a masterpiece, with each dish showcasing an incredible dedication to food and menu creation. The plating was an art form, and the way the chefs paired aromas and flavours was simply brilliant. The team's commitment was especially impressive—I had the pleasure of meeting some of the kitchen staff who were genuinely enthusiastic and deeply committed to their craft. Their dedication and creativity were evident in every dish. I recently tried to book a table but was unable to, which was a huge disappointment. This has only fueled my excitement to return in the coming months, and I'm confident that Geranium's pursuit of excellence has only continued to evolve.
Ali K — Google review
Dining at Geranium in Copenhagen was truly the most exquisite food and dining experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was world class. The service was outstanding—extremely personalized to each table—and what really stood out was that the chefs themselves presented the dishes they cooked, explaining every detail with passion and precision. Every course was a work of art, and many were among the most incredible dishes I’ve ever tasted. To top it all off, we were given a behind-the-scenes tour of the restaurant, including the wine room, private dining room, the football stadium it’s connected to, and the kitchen—an inspiring glimpse into the artistry that makes Geranium so special. Yes, it’s expensive, but the experience is worth every penny. A special shoutout to Niels, one of our waiters, who went above and beyond to make the evening unforgettable. If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience, Geranium is absolutely unmatched.
Ben T — Google review
Dining at Geranium was the most interesting and amazing experience we’ve ever had at a restaurant, and we hope to come back someday. Thank you for making our wedding day so special—we are so grateful to you. We were graciously squeezed in to celebrate our wedding here, and we have never had such an incredible dining experience. The ambiance was lovely, it felt intimate yet spacious. The service was absolutely unparalleled, unlike anything we have ever experienced. Everyone seemed excited to celebrate with us and very invested in providing a memorable and special celebration for us, they even wanted to take a picture with us. We felt welcomed and well cared for the entire time. The paper menu was beautiful, as was the printed note for the gifted wine pairing we received from a relative. One of the staff showed the room how you open a wine bottle with port tongs, which was fun. We love to cook, and one of us works in the food industry, so we were excited to learn about the dishes and the wine. All our questions were answered, and we learned a lot. The tour was interesting as well. The food was exquisite, the dishes were inventive and unique; we still think about them. Dietary restrictions were carefully considered and met. We especially enjoyed that the chefs who made the dishes came to our table to explain them. The wine pairing was delicious and very generous.

It's truly a 3-star restaurant, if not the best in the world (they got best a years back 🤭) Everything is nearly to perfection , from service, wine, and food. It was very pricey but worth it a try. But to be honest, I'm not sure that we will go back to this considering the ROI

Tivoli Food Hall is a bustling indoor space located near the iconic Tivoli Gardens, the world's second-oldest amusement park in Copenhagen. It offers a variety of international fare and is perfect for grabbing a quick bite after enjoying the attractions at Tivoli Gardens or for having a low-budget meal. The modern glass hall opened its doors in 2017 and provides an escape from unpredictable Danish weather.
Adjoining Tivoli Gardens amusement park and right across from Central Station, Tivoli Food Hall has a lively but relaxed atmosphere and offers a variety of budget-friendly dining options.  I tried a few dishes here and enjoyed them all. Great place to dine.

With a lot of food choices and attached to an amusement park ! A very nice spot. We had lunch and it was great. It can take a few minutes to find a table if you’re with friends or family.

So many people raved about this place but I can say I won’t be returning. There are various food stands to choose from. French, Italian, sushi, ramen, salads, burgers and so on. Be careful of your stuff as there are pickpocketers. Are at Kung Fu. Wasn’t the best ramen but in Copenhagen everything requires a reservation so this is perfect for in the go food. Not too loud with plenty of seating.

Visited for Gorm’s Pizza – Great Food, Long Wait Stopped by here specifically to try Gorm’s Pizza. The wait time was quite long—around 40 minutes—which felt a bit much, especially with a kid. The place was overcrowded, possibly because it was a weekend. That said, the food made up for the wait. The pizza and garlic bread were truly authentic and delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you're a food lover. There are plenty of food options overall, though not as many choices for vegetarians.
Ishita K — Google review
Wide range of foods available, simple order and collect system. Lots of tables and spaces to eat. All the food we had was of a decent quality for the price/location. Simple and no fuss. Was busy and I suspect it always is. You don't need to have paid for Tivoli gardens to go to food court. Kids liked it and it was busy

If you’re out of ideas for what to eat, this food hall is a great place to find inspiration! It’s styled like an upscale hawker center, featuring 15 food stalls that bring together flavors from across Europe and Asia 🌍🍴. 🥩 Steak Without a doubt, the best value-for-money option here. At just 129 DKK (without béarnaise sauce), it’s nearly half the price of what you’d pay at most restaurants. The steak here is rustic and no-frills — don’t expect any doneness options; it comes fully cooked by default. It’s served with a local-style butter and arugula mix that’s packed with flavor. The salad dressing is sweet and tangy, and the slightly bitter greens balance out the richness of the meat. Overall, it’s a well-rounded dish. 🌯 Greek Chicken Wrap A total letdown! Way worse than the pita wraps you get on the streets of Athens — and they had the audacity to charge 99 DKK. There was barely any meat in it, and the taste was dry and bland. I’ve had €2 pita wraps in Athens with more beef and way better flavor. This one only offered chicken, and it was both expensive and disappointing. I only ordered it because of the amazing smell from the grill… turns out the aroma was a trap! Avoid it! 🍝 Bolognese Pasta A classic Italian dish with beef ragù. I personally found the pasta too firm — not my kind of texture — but my Italian partner actually liked it. That said, the meat portion was pathetically small for a dish that costs 109 DKK. Definitely not as good a deal as the steak❗️ All in all, the steak stands out as the best value dish — plenty of meat and good flavor. The place is usually packed, and finding a seat can be tricky 🪑. Some of the quieter stalls still have empty bar seats — likely because the food there isn’t great. So yes, choosing wisely takes a bit of observation. After 8:30 p.m., the crowd starts thinning out and seats become easier to find. It’s also a great place for solo diners — no pressure to finish everything. 👤🍽️

This food hall was really good with lots of options! The poke bowl from Kung Fu was SO good!! Would really really recommend that, I got the tuna one.
Emily C — Google review
What a lovely place, so many options, a nice relaxed atmosphere, delicious food. The only thing that could make it better is a nice refreshing glass of water. Dream on, you won't be getting water here, every single food stand will refuse you, and they'll tell you to fill your water bottle up in the toilets, but your water bottle won't fit under the taps, and the taps only make tepid water, you'll be despairing, absolutely despairing. The last thing you need is to pay for bottled water, it's the last thing anyone needs. Also the toilets weren't very big and were down a big staircase. Can't stress enough though the food really was delicious.

Fine dining restaurant
Restaurant
Alchemist is a unique and immersive dining venue in Copenhagen, known for its high-concept dishes and robust wine list. The restaurant offers an outrageous sense-spinning experience with 50 small courses and an explosion of impressions curated by maverick chef Rasmus Munk. Diners can expect a choreographed immersive experience, where they move through 50 food and drink pairings divided into five acts, often with a political statement or specific social issue in mind.
Dining at Alchemist is not just a meal—it's an unforgettable, multi-sensory experience that challenges every expectation of what food can be. From the moment you enter the striking bronze doors, you're transported into a meticulously curated world where art, science, and gastronomy converge. Each of the 50+ courses is presented with theatrical flair and profound creativity, inviting not just your palate, but your mind, to engage with deeper themes—sustainability, social issues, and the future of food. Chef Rasmus Munk and his team are true visionaries. Dishes are not only flawlessly executed but often thought-provoking, blurring the lines between performance art and fine dining. Whether it's a course inspired by climate change or an edible sculpture with an ethical message, every bite tells a story. The immersive dome, the ever-evolving visuals, and the interplay of light, sound, and scent add to the dreamlike quality of the evening. Service is impeccable—attentive yet relaxed, knowledgeable without being overbearing. Alchemist is not for the faint of heart, nor for those seeking a traditional dinner. But for those willing to surrender to the unknown, it's a transcendent experience that leaves a lasting impression. A meal here is more than dinner—it's a conversation, a spectacle, and a masterpiece.

Obviously very unique experience. Although it's quite expensive but it does worth the money. It is not only about the food while part of the dishes not really about being tasty but some kind of the statement. All around they have an amazing cocktails and wine list. In some of the dishes the chef combines successfully great taste with the statement, in some of them the taste wasnt the issue. Bottom line- highly recommended experience
Eddie P — Google review
Extraordinary experience for the eyes, mouth and brain! Chef Rasmus was very present during the service, presenting three impressions and came by to chat as the meal was winding down at the lounge, which was a great opportunity to ask questions and take pictures!

Nae S — Google review
The best dining (and hospitality) experience I've ever had. The dishes range from innovative spins on classic flavors from around the world to avant-garde art bites meant to challenge the way you think about what we eat and why we eat it. Provocative, challenging, educational, and delicious. The many changes in setting (the meal is served across five rooms) built a huge sense of anticipation across the night, and the multi-sensory experience of the main dining room is almost overwhelming at times. Above all, though, the impression I will be left with is how incredible the service at Alchemist is. Every dish was presented with a story to help contextualize our experience, and the beverage pairings (both wine and non-wine) were unreal. Service was attentive, fluid, and highly flexible. Our sommelier, Paolo, was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and able to create an experience that felt special and personalized to us as guests. The care that goes into the customer experience is evident across all team members. Could not recommend the Alchemist highly enough.
Andrew K — Google review
It should definitely win the title of best restaurant in the world! Impeccable service, unique customer care, and the taste of the dishes is surprising. Top marks

What can you say to describe it if you're not a poet :) An ultimate experience that is comparable maybe to birth of your child.
Maciej P — Google review
The best dining experience I’ve ever had. The staff was super friendly, and made sure our experience was perfectly in order. When it comes to the food… words are not enough to express their taste. It was not just a delicious meal but a sensory tease in every aspect. Visuals, music, the stories and morals behind each dish… This is a must visit experience for everyone seeking more than just food and taste. I can not call this place just a restaurant, as it is way more than that. I wouldn’t imagine a dish could change my perspective in different aspects of life and made me more conscious about deep topics that we don’t really think about in our daily lives. Outstanding!

The American Pie Company is a collaboration between an American and a Dane, offering a variety of sweet and savory pies that change with the seasons. Their selection includes classic American flavors like Apple Cinnamon as well as innovative adaptations of Danish classics such as Hindbaersnitte. The cozy premises in Vesterbro exude an Americana feel without being kitschy.
I loved this little place. The Banoffee Pie was exceptionally good, coffee was amazing. The guy serving us was extremely kind, he answered all my questions with patience! The place itself is really cozy, the interior made me feel like I was in a small town in America. :") I saw that they also hold Bingo nights, it's a shame I didn't get the chance to go but if I'm ever back in Copenhagen, will definitely come back!

Really nice pie and very friendly service. We were there around five in the afternoon on a weekday and it was easy to get a table. We had both savory pie and a tasting set of dessert pies. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced for Copenhagen standards. We didn't have to wait long to get our order.

I am a huge fan of American Pie Company! I had the pleasure tasting so many of their delicious pies over a couple of visits! Not one of them was bad, hands down one of my favourite pies/cakes in Copenhagen! I also joined the Lemon Meringue Baking class, which was the best atmosphere! Cozy, down-to-earth, super vibes :-) Totally worth it with snacks and cake tasting in between the breaks! 🥰🥰🥰 I am for sure doing another class soon :-)

Cozy place, but the customer service is something else... we literally waited by the cashier in front of line for 10+ minutes before any of the 3 waiters at work even acknowledged our existence. 5 more people in line behind us. They don't seem to be able to juggle Wolt orders + orders in house at all

Omegn & Venner is a laid-back wine bar situated in the Torvehallerne market hall, offering a rotating menu of small dishes crafted from fresh local ingredients. The establishment does not take reservations and provides only a few stools for patrons to enjoy their meals and drinks. The menu changes regularly but consistently features indulgent comfort foods like chicken liver parfait and daily pasta specials.
A street food vendor in the meatmarket. The food is sophisticated and fresh. One cook serves all, daily menu. The regulars are greeted with warmth, tourists are politely tolerated. The tinned seafood is sth to try. Foodies- do not miss it.

Mikkeller has truly carved out a niche for itself in the vibrant beer scene of Copenhagen, and its presence at the airport is a delightful surprise for travelers. This trendy spot serves an impressive array of draft artisan ales from Mikkeller and other microbreweries, making it a must-visit for beer enthusiasts.
Tiny bar packed with serious brews. Really great selection on tap that would put in the shame some "tap rooms" in the UK. The bottle range is also heavyweight. Service efficient, could do with a bit more warmness, but hey, you're in the middle of airport terminal. It is solid and gives good reason to fly from Copenhagen again.
Pawel P — Google review
Great place to kill waiting time for your flight. Wide selection of beers, prices just fine for the airport and unusual beer. Just bar chairs are very tiny and difficult to sit on but there is a lot of seating options around, so no problem at all. Staff was nice.
Monika R — Google review
Mikkeller is genuinely popular in the local scene, with numerous branches across the city. Every year, beer enthusiasts from around the world flock here to attend the annual beer festival. It's such a grand and iconic event! The airport branch of Mikkeller provides bar stools for customers — it’s a place for travelers to have one last toast before leaving, commemorating their Mikkeller experience. Beer selections and prices are handwritten in chalk-style fonts on blackboards for beer lovers to browse. If you’re curious to try a new style, the staff here are knowledgeable and will recommend based on your preferences. Fruit beers here are especially suited for ladies or first-timers, with a sweet plum-like flavor and a smooth finish. For those adventurous enough to explore the more complex sides of life, sour beers are a worthy challenge — one sip, and you’ll have a full-on bitter melon expression! 😂 Although this airport branch doesn’t have as many choices as MBCC, all the classics are available, making it a perfect gateway for those who’ve only ever known wheat beers to discover a whole new world.

Hahnemanns Køkken is a charming and beautifully decorated place that exudes a sense of calm and hygge, offering an array of delectable treats. While some have noted a slight issue with speed in service, the establishment continues to impress with its excellent food and innovative offerings. The bakery is particularly praised for its amazing bread and pastry, although there have been some recent changes in their selling practices.
Stopped by for breakfast, both the coffee and pastries were nice! Almost everyone speaks great English in Copenhagen. The girl was very friendly to explain things to us. We sat at the table facing the windows, people outside biking over were often smiling to us, great atmosphere!

We managed to visit this lovely cafe twice in our holiday trip to Copenhagen, both times we chose coffee and a delicious pastry. The cafe is situated on a roundabout but is separated from it by a small coppice wooded area. The patio sits within this glade and the dappled sunlight shines through making a delightful setting. There is also a sunny patio and a large seating area inside. The serving counter is well organised and the staff are all friendly and cheerful and fully bilingual in Danish and English. The food selection is great and the strawberry pastry on our second visit was fantastic. We visited quite a few cafes in the city during our stay but this was my favourite. There was something about how the leafy glade atmosphere that was able to make this hidden gem the number one choice for us. Highly recommended.

70 kr = Croissant is to the dry side and the pot coffee is ok. Nothing is really wrong I just expected a bit more for that price.. The waiters seem tired.. otherwise a beautiful shop, and the sitting area outside is wonderful in the summer.

I first posted my review two years ago: ‘We are regulars of hahnemanns. Amazing bread and pastry.’ I continue to be a regular at Hahnemans, and while they still impress with excellent food and innovative offers, I've noticed a lingering issue with speed. Unfortunately, the service lacks the efficiency one would expect, and things take longer than desired. Given the premium prices, an improvement in managing demand is essential for them to deliver the top-notch service that matches their reputation.
Amanda P — Google review

Coffee Collective Carlsberg Byen is a stylish coffee bar located near a charming park close to Carlsberg station. It offers a wide selection of high-quality coffee, including espresso-based and filter options with well-rounded and complex profiles. The cafe maintains a high standard for quality and service, ensuring that even during busy times everything meets their specifications. Visitors can enjoy delicious hand-brewed floral and tea-like coffees while exploring the Vesterbro area.
Super great designed shop, fits so well into Carlsberg Byen and I love that every CC shop has its own design without being just copied. The coffees were of course exceptional, the AGA batch brew is classy and elegant, the Geisha hand brew bright, fruity and funky. The staff was always super friendly and I had a good time!

This was on my list of coffee places in Copenhagen and the very 1st stop I made the morning after we landed. Luckily there was one near our rental so made a beeline right after it opened. Minimalist and warm interior serving robust coffee. Also got the cardamom bun which was a tad bit too sugary but perfect with coffee. There were regulars that came and some fired up their laptops and were working from there. Came back the next morning to try their Takesi Geisha coffee since it was hyped up in the media but it was not my cup of tea. All in all I’m happy I got to experience this coffee place.
