Waiting can be of upto 15mins depending on the rush. We went for saturday brunch. chole were nice but not upto the mark. Pooris were absolutely amazing. Aloo ki sabji was sweet and didnt like it at all. Halwa was nice and something different. Lassi was also great. Sabjis were refillable without any charges and after 2 pooris, each poori cost 60 each.

So went in Kanha sweets to have their much hyped poori bhaji and chole. Poori were hot and fresh. Chole were average in taste. The alloo kalaunji bhaji was sweet and tangy, I personally didn't like too much sweetness but it depends on person to person and you can decide. Lassi was very good in taste and it was not very sweet. Just perfect. If you group of max 8 ppl then it should be okay, more then that then probably you have to sit separately. Service is quick and fast. Staff is attentive and polite. Prices are reasonable as per portion and quality. You may have to wait for 30 to 45 mins if you visit on weekends or public holidays. Parking is bit of a hassle. Overall it was mix experience as the hype of not worth.

My experience was excellent. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, but the standout dishes were definitely the aloo sabzi with poori chholey. The combination was flavorful and satisfying. The halwa also deserves a special mention – it was unique and incredibly tasty. A highly recommended spot for a satisfying meal!

Amritsars’s favourite breakfast place. Poori platter is the go-to for everyone here. They serve you a plate with salad Chole and Aloo sabzi which is sweet in taste. And then they serve you poori hot and fresh as they come. Do try halwa and gulab jamun after the poori breakfast. Sweets are to die for 😍

Food is good, especially the poori plate....but nothing outstanding, except for the tangy potato sabzi, which I haven't had anywhere else. Clean seating area, basic furniture. Do visit once for a taste.

Good dessert shop, I think I just don’t really like desserts here in India because most of them tasted the same. It’s very sweet, you feel the sugar under your teeth. The ones with nuts are better, more interesting than the ones that just have mostly sugar and oils. The staff didn’t know what to recommend us, and since we didn’t know about any of them we just picked randomly. They also added one more to make it to 250g. So we paid more because of that.

Kulchas were good but nothing special that makes it so talked about. You may get similar kulchas anywhere in Amritsar. The staff is courteous and the service is fast. Limited menu with around 7-8 kinds of Kulchas only served with chhole and imli chutney. If you are in Ranjit Avenue you may try this however no need to travel long distances in the city just for this. We had Amritsari and Paneer Masala Kulcha.

We tried Amritsari Kulcha, Masala Kulcha and Panner Kulcha. Out of all Paneer Kucha is the yummiest. Masala Kulcha has to be the least liked. Gud ka Halwa was really delicious.

For a first time visit, it's a good stop for getting the belly filled with good food. As the name suggests they specialise in kulchas, specifically just 6. But each have their own "swad". And, when in Punjab, lassi is a must - try it is all I'm saying. Obviously to each their own, but if going along this road, do stop by.

i had one of the best kulchas in amritsar in the place - kulcha land.. place was very ordinary with no toilets and washroom... but the food was delicious.. we fell in love with the kulchas... i will surely visit this place again when i go back to amitsar..

You can get ₹30- ₹40 kulcha in a normal kulcha shop .I think the price is high according to the taste and size of the kulcha.There are many people working here Hence they are charging extra for that . Tried the famous Makhan Fish and overall, it was a decent experience. The marination and masala were flavorful and well-balanced, adding a nice punch to the dish. However, the fish itself was a bit of a letdown — it was quite dry from the inside and lacked the juiciness you would expect from a well-cooked fish. That said, the overall taste was still enjoyable. With a bit more attention to cooking the fish to retain its moisture, this could easily be a standout dish.

So we visited Amritsar many times earlier but never got time to Visit this place. It was highly recommended by a couple of cousins from Dubai. The atmosphere is good. I came too this place tired after waiting 1 hour to get access to the golden temple. I left happy, full, and full of energy. The food was amazing. We ordered the fried fish sangara and sole, it was AMAZING, but, unexpectedly, the mutton tikka was even better! The service was okay and can be improved. The atmosphere was okay, not overly amazing but still nice and we had a good time. But they need to work on their hygiene. There was a bit of trash under our table they hadn't bothered to clean and my pink lemonade mocktail had a bug in it

Had mixed experience with the fried fish and chicken tandoori. The fried fish was well-cooked, but the flavor was just average and the price was a bit steep. On the other hand, the chicken tandoori was absolutely delicious! The flavors were spot on. Maybe tweak the fish recipe a bit? Overall, a decent meal, but room for improvement. 3.5/5 stars

Visited July 29, 2025 – Day 26 in India Being in Amritsar, we were excited to finally try proper Amritsari fish. It had been on our food list since the start of the trip, so when our driver recommended Makhan Fish Corner, it felt like the right time to go for it. The place was busy when we arrived, and the staff were warm and helpful. We appreciated how polite they were throughout our visit, and they made sure to pack some food for our driver without any fuss. Unfortunately, the food itself didn’t live up to the hype. The Amritsari fish, which we were most looking forward to, just didn’t hit the mark for us. The flavor felt flat, and the texture wasn’t what we expected. It was unlike any version of this dish we’ve had before — and not in a good way. Maybe we caught them on an off day, or maybe our expectations were too high, but either way, we left a bit disappointed. We’re still glad we tried it, and we’re grateful for the kind service, but based on our experience, we wouldn’t return.

I was very much excited to try the food in Amritsar. Since we visited the golden temple, we decided to eat vegetarian food, and decorated to try this place as it’s very popular place in Amritsar. There was lots of crowd when we entered the place. We have ordered paneer butter masala with butter naan, veg combo with roti, rice, veg curry and dal, veg Manchurian, choor choor naan with chole, rice with dal makhani and lassi. All the food items were ok. Service was quick. Prices were reasonable.

Day 1 was good with chur chur naan n dal makhni, kadi chawal and lassi Day2 we ordered tawa paneer as brothers special and it was worse with lots of colour and oil, tomato soup had colour too n wasn’t fresh ; so day2 we regretted having lunch here. We had a good experience as we had breakfast and lunch here. We ordered aloo paratha for breakfast and tea( was exactly the way I wanted). Then we went for lunch and ordered Kadhi chawal and paneer/ dam makhni/lachcha parantha thali. All were real good. I especially liked the crispy layered parantha with dal.

The tea is really different and good in taste as compared to others. We had their special badam tea and kachoris. Kachoris were a little oily however good to eat. Tea was perfectly made. Seating is limited and parking may be an issue here. The tea is made live and you can cherish the process. Payment in cash only, so have some of it.

We visited Giani Tea Stal. We went around 7:30 PM and ordered Tea (₹35 each), Bun Maska (₹80 each), and Paneer Pakora (₹230). The food was tasty the paneer was soft, the bun maska nicely toasted, and the tea had that strong, classic Amritsari flavor. But when you look at the overall ambience and pricing, it does feel a bit overhyped. The setup is simple, and I personally felt the prices were on the higher side for what you get. We couldn’t find a proper place to wash hands (maybe we missed it), and cleanliness could definitely be better especially if you’re particular about it. Overall, it’s worth visiting once to experience the local vibe and try their famous tea, but don’t go in with high expectations

Let’s be honest the chai I had here is normal unlike any other shop and they are charging 35 for one tea ..thanks to all influencers this place has become a hit but trust me the taste is same as you find in any tea shop in Amritsar area..bun maska was tasteless and nothing wow about that ..went with so much expectation but ended up with normal taste ..

What we didn’t expect was the warm and familiar welcome from the owner, who was genuinely caring, taking the time to explain all the dishes and recommend the local specialties to try. Tasted evening chats and taste is average. Aloo tikki is better. Hospitality is not that great. It’s weird to know the restaurant don’t provide water and everyone are forced to buy packed water bottles.

After spending two and a half weeks in India, I wanted to try something different, so I ordered Chinese noodles. They were too salty for my taste, but the owner kindly offered to recook them. The second serving was much better, with less salty. The prices are reasonable, the café is clean, and the staff are friendly.

I went for the dinner time to Astoria and I saw this bee just sitting there, while the staff didn’t care to buzz it off or clean the quarter plate. I end up leaving the place after seeing that. I love its food whenever I come to town and I don’t doubt about the taste till now. I’m more concerned about the health and service. Please try to avoid such instances, you might loose good clients that way.

Astoria is located at ranjit avenue on the main road, best known for its delicious food items Food - they have all the cuisine available in their restaurant. And the taste of all food item is too good.. Sizzlers - if you're a food lover person then don't forget to order shashlik sizzlers with rosemary sauce. That is a very good combination of rice with boneless chicken and French fries with boiled veggies.. Service - service is too good with nice ambience. Parking - convenient parking is also available outside this place..

Good food! I am sure the quality is great aswell. Tried Fish in peri peri sauce. Its different from other places like Nandos etc. Wings were like any other chinese dish . Though very good to taste but not at all like what we get at other places. Burger and quesadilla were okay. Nice ambiance and a decent place for families.

Although it is a very vintage restaurant and the ambience is quite good with very beautifully crafted wooden furniture all over the floor. However, one thing which created a lot of irritation was a group of 8 to 10 ladies playing tombola in the restaurant. The hotel staff was quite okay with the noise being created And I felt that the staff was not careful enough to maintain its ambience. The food did not create a wow factor. It was as simple and as plain fully tasteful like any other restaurant. Apart from the ambience, I did not find it really something to spend my time at.

Kind of overrated. I belong to Amritsar and I have had Kulchas from so many shops. Harbans, Pehlwan, Ashok Mathi, Khalsa and so many. To be honest i find their Kulchas strictly average. These are more of a stuffed Nan kind of but people are crazy about their Kulchas. So be it but for me its average. Not good not bad.

Came to Ashok kulcha on someone’s recommendation but totally not worth it.

This is a small, quaint local delight, that only the long timers know about. Plastic seats, shared tables, basic cutlery… but the Kulchas are amazing!! Not a great variety either, but you get the authentic local taste, that you would never get at a sophisticated restaurant. You could consider ordering in, in case the ambience is an important factor for you. I have grown up eating at such places, so had an enjoyable experience. 😁

If you are after real taste of Amritsar Kulcha then this is the place, do not look for fancy sitting, cool ambiance, cutlery or hospitality … look for real taste of food. Very few sitting, you have to wait to sit or else eat in car which is also difficult to park close to shop but still a fun to visit for the sake of taste. You may have to wait to for 10-15 minutes to get your order not because of cooking time but because of pre-orders. There are 5-6 types of Kulchas, Paneer Kulcha, Aloo Masala Kulcha, Aloo Gobhi Kulcha, Aloo Kulcha and all were great so as Lassi … Starts at early morning and most of the stuff is finished by 1-2 in afternoon or May be early on off days. Real taste not expensive price range Rs 60-100 depending upon Kulcha and Chole with Chutney, full of mouth watering … Would love to do again and again …

Hello good evening myself vishank. I have ordered food from temptation. And felt very disappointed as i ordered soup and it was pathetic. Ordered vegetable soup but after i opened the soup there just cauliflower no vegetables in vegetable soup. I called the restaurant and one of their team member was saying that they only put cauliflower in vegetable soup nothing else. Please order the food carefully.

From so many years this place was one of my favourite place . Today i decided to visit this place with my family for dinner .... we ordered soups - lemon coriander soup , veg manchow soup , veg sweet corn soup .. soups were very tasty .. Then we ordered twin pasta sizzler , veg lasagne... this time the taste was not good as It was before . Veg lasagne was not cheesy .. it was average . Twin pasta sizzler was not tasty as it was used too . So this time my experience was not good . Hoping they will improve their quality .

This place was good to spend time for food with family, the twin pasta Sizler was my favorite of this restaurant but now the quality has gone down though the quantity is good, Chiken Tikka Masala is also good, but they can look upon there quality, it can be improved. The worst part I felt is the quality of staff they have, not at all helping rather rude. Hospitality of the customers is the key factor to pull in customer, but if it is lacking, the business starts to come down.

Nice place to hangout with friends and family. It's an good restaurant with all type of food. We tried Punjabi food wich was awesome. Price is also good. It's under construction yet . Reason why i am giving it 4 stars is lack of parking space. You have to park your vehicle against other shops or quite far away.

We often used to go to Aurah for lunch and dinner but this time wen we went for dinner I was surprised to see the attitude and language of the manager named-ANIL is disrespectful and rude. He does not have ethics how to talk to guests. There's always a YES for eating out, everytime we mention Aurah. Infact the eating out with parents happens on Their demand at Aurah. We love their super delicious food and we all have our favourite items from their menu. Great vibe and unmatched service. One must and must make a couple of visits at Aurah.

Being in Lucknow, you get a classic taste of tikki batasha. here chat was different. Bun tikki was good in taste. Its like similar to you get in Indore veg benzo. But here you get different taste imli khatti meethi chutney. Items I had: Batasha: 4.5/5 very different taste, filling had lots of red chutni + boiled potato+ chana. Paani was also good. But 60rs for 8 batasha is too expensive, even you eat at most expensive place in up. Bun tikki: 4/5 they didn't had long bun, but it was like desi burger without veg. Taste was good but little at higher expensive side. Mix chat: there were no flavours in chat. Just few papdi + curd + chutni. 2/5. Overall chat is good with different taste with high cost. For tax saving they take only cash payment. They dont have any mode of online payment. So I had to pay cash.

my visit to Amritsar and craving for Chaat, well this is obvious. So I went to this place and ordered, honestly I didn't like the taste. The curd was sour like the laste was hitting. Rs 60 for 5 small pieces of papadi and just one Wada was not worth it. I prefer to eat something else.

Tried the most hyped bun tikki. The bun bread was so fresh and soft , haven't found bread like this before. Bun tikki is very amazing and must try.

their bun tikki, dry fruit dahi bhalla, bhalla papdi is super yummy and musty try if you are in amritsar. the food is hygenic and the owner is very polite attends every guest very nicely.

We tried their famous double bun tikki and mix chaat. The food was awesome anf their double bun tikki is a must try!
