To say this place is bustling is an understatement. We were there when Little Italy was celebrating the something or other of St. Joseph and the entire area was cordoned off for the weekend long event. The streets were filled with vendors and activities. It looked like a great time. I don't know if this was the reason for super long line at Regina, but nonetheless, there was one. The pizza was pretty good for an east coast pie. Can't hold a candle to Chicago pizza, tavern style, or deep dish, but it was tasty. Even though the place was nuts, our server was fantastic. Their assembly line of cranking out pizzas was pretty impressive. We sat right next to the kitchen. The walls are covered with (gotta be) thousands of police uniform shoulder patches from all over the country. I kid you not, the first one that caught my eye across the room turned out to be from the Lake County Sheriff in Illinois, right where I live. What are the chances?

This is the place for pizza, a little off the path from the freedom trail but worth the extra walk. Was busy when we went but only waited about 10mins. The service was fast and the pizza was amazing. The pictures of famous people on the wall is fun to look at while you wait for your pie, I will definitely be back when I can. Best pizza in Little Italy.

Coming from NYC, more particularly Queens, I had low expectations for this Boston pizzeria. Soon as I walked in I could smell the delicious pizza. I ordered a large cheese...pizza arrived to the table straight out of the oven piping hot. The sauce I thought amazing but the crust was a little to thick for me. I personal don't think Reginas is the best in Boston.

Yes. Regina is a very very well known and reviewed pizza joint. The pizza was simply delicious. Margherita and a Rosemary Ham Bianco. The crust was chewy charred and just damn good. Not a "traditional" Margherita by appearance but the fresh basil was so refreshing and bright! Simple red sauce that announced my bite with a juicy yumminess. Now let's talk Bianco. Delicious. Sweet, ham, spinach and that beautiful basil! Fantastic service late in the service! Please, treat yourself to pizza you will remember.

Lively atmosphere, friendly service, delicious pizza loaded with flavor and not oily at all. The sauce is amazing. This is a must try if you are in the area. Com early, it gets crowded fast. Make sure to try the seasoned oil on the table to dip the pizza crust. So flavorful!

I didn’t love Regina on my first try—but after doing the “top 3” tour, I’m eating my words: Regina is Boston’s best. The brick-oven crust has perfect leopard char with a chewy center, the sauce is bright and garlicky, and the cheese/oil balance is spot on. I went classic (cheese with pepperoni) and it was slam-dunk good, straight from the oven. Old-school North End vibe—expect a wait, totally worth it.

What can I say, it was a perfect pepperoni pizza! And I was already full from the deli down the street. I still ate the entire pie somehow and each slice got increasingly better. We all have our opinions on pizza, I get it, but in all honesty, this was simply the very best thing I had for the entire vacation in Boston. The staff was equally as impressive as they were attentive and punctual the entire time without making you feel bombarded. I will be back one day with my family next time, this establishment deserves the patronage.

Decently good pizza pie reasonably close to the airport. Pros: pepperonis under the cheese, good sauce, quality anchovies (if that’s your thing). Woman behind the counter was extremely rude and impatient, but I wouldn’t let that bother you. I don’t think it is worth all the hype the thousands of reviews have left, but it’s a good spot. Would not go out of my to go here but if I was near by I’d go again

This pizza and BBQ restaurant and bar was Recommended by locals, I also recommend eating here. It's close to the Boston airport. The broccoli chicken garlic pizza is delicious. The menu is small. The staff is friendly with some Boston flavor mixed in. There is a bar with beers and mixed drinks.

The pizza was wonderful! I would recommend getting the Works. Crust has a good chew with crispy edges and a perfect char. The steak tips were good, but slightly under seasoned.

As a born-and-raised Southerner, I thought I knew good pizza until my husband took me to Santarpio’s in Boston. He’s been talking about this place for years, and now I completely understand why. The crust has that perfect char and the sauce is incredible. The lamb is amazing! This was my third visit, and it’s officially become a must-stop every time we’re in town. It’s old-school, no-frills, and absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of pizza that ruins you for anywhere else. We may live far away, but this place has my heart (and my appetite)!

The space is small and if you’re sitting on the bar at a booth near the door you’re going to be cold the time if it’s cold out. The set up of the restaurant sucks. The waitstaff and bartender were nice and attentive. We sat at the bar because there were no open tables. We only ordered a pizza. The pizza itself was good. Nice chew to the crust, and a good char. It was enjoyable. Toppings are placed under the cheese which I don’t prefer, but I’m from the Midwest. I also wish the crust was seasons or buttered in some way. I got a side of sauce and I enjoyed the pizza sauce they use. It’s not homemade though. You can tell

Came highly recommend and I can happily recommend as THE pizza in Boston. Pepperoni was the best flavor crust and sauce and cheese combination. And I AM VERY PICKY ON WHAT IS GOOD PIZZA. GO .

Our server Ginamarie was amazing and the pizza was great. I didn’t really care for the lamb. It lacked seasoning but it was cooked well otherwise.

We ate here for two evenings because it was so good the first time we visited. The supreme garlic knots were amazing and great as a shared starter. The pasta dishes were good but the pizza particularly good as it is cooked in a wood fired pizza oven, the service was excellent on both evenings and I would definitely recommend Area Four for pasta & pizza. We sat outside which was nice but the inside had a great feel too.

We ordered for pick up as we were driving from Maine and craving this pizza for dinner. Sadly once we got said pizza home what we received was a burnt carnivore pizza. The pizza was somehow undercooked on the bottom and burnt black and crispy on top. The toppings were also charred which didn’t taste good at all. But what do you do after a long day of driving?? My boyfriend ate slices of the least burnt pieces and I had a slice but my toppings fell off my soggy slice. Smoky flavor all around. Guess I just wish someone had done some quality control before handing over this pizza to us. When you pay 32 dollars for a pizza you kind of have higher expectation for the quality of food. Very sad to have had this experience tonight. We hope tonight was just a flaw in the cooking or oven equipment. Thanks.

Area Four is the kind of place that makes you want to cancel your next few plans just to stay a little longer. From the moment you walk in, there’s this buzzy, effortless cool—part industrial hangout, part neighborhood gem. The wood-fired pizza? Absolute sorcery. The crust has that perfect char, chewy inside, and the toppings taste like they were foraged by pizza monks. We had the mushroom and the carnivore—both showstoppers. The cocktails are sharp, creative, and dangerously drinkable. And the staff? Laid-back, funny, and clearly love what they do. If you’re not already obsessed, one visit will do the trick.

The crust on the pizza was the star of the dinner. Garlic knots were also good. Service was a little slow and the restaurant is loud, but would return for the crust! There is a good selection of local beers too.

Really really solid pizza at a reasonable price. Small pizza was about $20 and can probably serve 2 people (or one very hungry person). Crust was nice and crunchy without too much flop. Great beer selection too but a little pricier ($10-13 for drafts)

We got takeout from here on two nights during a trip to Boston/Cambridge. Both times we had the Sausage and Pickled Peppers pizza and we think it's probably the best pizza we have ever had! Also it's ready super quick and was piping hot! The large pizza is a great size!

Ok, I love pizza and wings, and this has got to be one of the best I have ever had. The pizza was amazing, fresh ingredients, perfect portions of toppings, very fast delivery to table. This place is easy to get to in Cambridge, nice little park/grass area on the side for kids to run around if you need. Was in town to visit my daughter at Northeastern and we tried this on Saturday and Posto Sunday. Don’t waste your time with Posto, that place is a joke. Area Four is by far one of the best pizzas places I have ever tried. The wings were also perfect, not drenched in sauce, perfectly baked so there is a crunch but not dry. Waitress was friendly as well. Plan ahead with a reservation or go early or later than the rush times. Trust me, you’ll really enjoy the food!

I thought a place couldn’t make good ice cream and pizza at the same time: I was wrong. The ice cream here is top notch. Definitely worth a visit. I only tried the ice cream, and decided to take the caramel swirl. The ice cream here has a really unique texture: it’s very rich and creamy, almost like fudge. The caramel flavour was delicious and kept me coming back for more, and I really liked that there were actual swirls of thick liquid caramel mixed into the ice cream. It’s really close to 5 stars: only thing missing is a pinch more sea salt in my opinion, and this might have been the best caramel ice cream in Boston. Definitely worth a try, will come back to try the pizza as well!

I made reservations to sit inside. There were other tables open. So I don't know if the reservations were necessary. There is outdoor seating as well. We shared a grilled chicken Caesar salad and a pepperoni pizza. The chicken was moist and perfectly grilled. The pizza was so good. The sauce tasted like the tomatoes were had squeezed and the mozzarella cheese was so yummy. The pepperoni were the old style that curl when cooked. There was a perfect char on the crust. There was a little flop to the pizza. But it was so delicious. I will be back. We also tried some of their house made ice cream. We brought 2 pints home. Great place. Great service. Great food. You won't be disappointed.

I’ve been coming here a long time for ice cream, probably the best in the area like many other reviews have attested to. The dark chocolate sorbet might be my favorite frozen treat in Boston. It is everything I wish chocolate ice creams were: rich and fudgy without being overwhelmingly sweet and heavy. I only recently tried their pizzas (got take out) and they really did not disappoint!! I got the sausage fennel and the muffuletta. Both briny, meaty and delicious in their own ways. For those of you that do not like too much char on pizzas, I would highly encourage you to order the pizzas “lightly cooked” contrary to the warning against this that is on their website. It made for a delightfully chewy and airy crust that was like a nice piece of bread you could probably dip in sauce or olive oil to end the slice. Here’s a closeup shot of the crust for color.

Didn’t have a reservation, but they were nice enough to seat us outside! Inside probably would’ve been too loud anyway. The inside is set up like a small family restaurant, booths and table fit into the area on the left, the grab and go ice cream counter on the right, and the kitchen in the back. Our waitress was super helpful in recommending food, and the food was good. We got the hot honey chicken wings 🍗🌶️ - but they weren’t that spicy, and would’ve been better with a dipping sauce. The pizzas were loaded - we got the Alsatian, a white french pizza with caramelized onions and bacon, and the sausage, broccoli rabe and olive pizza. The dough / crust was the standout. A little sourdoughy - always light, airy and chewy. Must try the ice cream! The pistachio had a lovely texture - a couple ice chips and tiny pistachio meal. Delicious flavor!

Delicious pizza with a crispy crust, paired with a refreshing IPA. Ended with their house-made ice cream, which was delicious. Overall a great spot for pizza, beer, and dessert. They also have other options in the menu. Only thing to note is they add a ‘kitchen service’ fee on the bill in addition to tips, which was unexpected. Still, worth a visit if you’re in the area.

We ordered delivery to our hotel downtown Boston. We ordered a Pepperoni pizza, spaghetti and meatballs & wings. Everything was amazing! The pizza especially. It had this perfect char on it. The wings were perfectly cooked, not overdone. I highly recommend!

I went to this pizzeria based on a hotel recommendation. The first time, they gave me so much runaround about getting a table that I left and ended up having a great dinner elsewhere. Gave it a second chance and thought, “Why am I even here?” The pizza was mediocre at best—I’ve had much better. Service was good, but if you’re looking for great pizza, this isn’t the place. Not recommended.

Galleria Umberto is a Pizza shop in the North End serving Sicilian style pizza at decent prices and portions, well known for their food. The line wasn't too long, but the pizza came out quickly and the service was excellent. We got slices of cheese pizza to try. The pizza was a bit hot but not too oily, and the size was decent for the price. The pizza tasted really good, what you'd expect and want for pizza. Definitely a place to go again and eat at.

Cash Only! Delicious pizza by the slice. Definitely in the top 3 places in the area. Service was fast. The staff seemed on edge, but I’m not shocked because tour groups come in waves. It’s always crowded for good reasons. So expect a long line if you don’t show up early. Overall if your looking for delicious pizza and don’t mind waiting Lin line this is the place to be.

Gem...Wow This restaurant is one of the best pizza in Boston! It's on Hanover Street, Galleria Umbertos is a cash only. Eat in and take out lunch spot. They get long lines and are opened for lunch and close when the food has sold out for the day. No leftovers ever! The restaurant is owned by two brothers both natives of the North End. Hands down the best pizza in Boston! from the Pizza dough to the sauce you can taste the love and hard work put into this pizza l love it! They also sell pizza dough and pizza by the pan for take out...The interior is old school and outdated but it's authentic... The prices could not be more reasonable...If you like cheap, tasty, fresh authentic Italian food served in a warm environment in an old school, Mom and Pop restaurant with amazing prices, this place is for you! 100% recommend!

This is the kind of place you don’t want to miss when eating in the city! Galleria Umberto wraps up Italian flavors and food culture in what they serve. The pizza was so fresh and wonderful. A friend recommended we try the arancini and panzarotti. We were not familiar with these dishes. The arancini is a ball of risotto rice stuffed with a filling of ground beef, tomato sauce, peas, and cheese, then breaded and deep fried. The panzarotti is a ball of mashed potatoes stuffed with cheese then breaded and deep fried. Both were an amazing experience! (I do wish each of them had come with a side of the marinara sauce for dipping… but that may be more American than authentic Italian!) our family of five (which includes our three hungry boys…) ate until we were stuffed for about $30 total. This does not happen frequently! We would definitely visit again. I would love to try a calzone. Lines can be long and they only accept cash. The workers are definitely no-nonsense and down to business so be ready when it’s time to order.

We got the pizza, arancini, and spinach cheese calzone. Pizza has a nice airy crust. Arancini nice and crispy. Calzone was boring. A decent place for quick fast food, not earth shattering

Lovely pizza parlor! Its an easy 10 minute walk from boston south station! They serve a variety of pizzas, pastas, and other dishes. I got the steak frites! Super delicious. They have a wine list and serve yummy cocktails as well.

we ordered drinks and parmesan fries. The fries came out luke warm. I asked to have some fresh ones. They brought more out in 5 minutes. The same fries-crunchy! hard! If you decide to order, then beware. You have been warned!

Pastoral is an independent neighborhood restaurant in Seaport, when even fast-food spots are closed late at night in this area, Pastoral is still open, that’s such a relief for anyone hungry at night, and their food is not just a “late-night option,” but somewhere I’d eat anytime. Also, there is a Spanish-speaking guy at the door is always super friendly. No matter how late it is, he greets people with a smile, which makes us feel warm and welcomed. Lastly, running a restaurant after the pandemic is definitely not easy, and compared to places that secretly raise menu prices to pass costs onto customers, Pastoral is very transparent. They clearly list a small 3% fee to support their staff and operations. Honestly, I truly respect this, I highly recommend this spot!

Was actually heading to the BBQ place next door when we passed by the open door to the kitchen and smelt the savory smells in the air, looked inside and saw the cooks making everything fresh, saw where we could sit outside and made an immediate detour to stay. Was a great decision food was very good. Got the garlic knot that was different for sure and very tasty, wife and I both had pizzas they came out fast! Was a good decision to stay. Waiter was very informative about menu and helping us decide on dinner this is worth the walk or drive! Especially if your at the convention center

Nice place, nice ambiance, nice staffs, and best pizza. Their special pizza made me rethink about grapes. Grapes in pizza with raw meat actally tasted surreal. Other pizzas and garlic knot was good too. The outdoor seating had a nice vibe. Server was nice but he almost forgot our beer. Everything else was awesome.

I hosted a private event at Pastoral on a Sunday evening in October (approx. 75 people) and everyone who attended was blown away by the experience! The food was beyond delicious and hearty. The best description I can provide is "elevated authentic Italian gems." Arancini, charcuterie choices, figs wrapped in bacon and a homemade pasta bolognese that had everyone getting seconds! The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff provided top notch attention and service. It's a wonderful space and many who had been there for the first time cannot wait to return. Me included! Forget the North End with its crowded dining rooms. Go to Pastoral.

Service from the bar was friendly, their pepperoni pizza was great, and the cookie dessert was rich and sweet. The locals were up for conversations.

Posto was an excellent dinner for a special occasion. The appetizers were excellent and the Mortadella with Ricotta was exceptional- rich, sweet, creamy ricotta with high quality mortadella. The pizzas were amazing as well. The dough is very light, airy and thin, slightly chewy. The toppings on the Sopresatta gave it a delicious honey and sweet onion flavor along with fresh herbs and ricotta. The Ribeye was decent and cooked just as it was asked. Overall, everything tasted great and it’s definitely up there for Italian restaurants in the Boston area. It’s quite contemporary, with a modern interior and menu items. The staff was very friendly as well- all together an outstanding meal!

Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We decided to try Posto at Assembly Row after passing by the restaurant one night and seeing how good their pizzas looked. We were not disappointed! From the Brushcetta to their Pizzas, the quality of Posto’s food is top-tier. Top 50 in 🍕—> Posto claims to rank in the top 50 for pizza. I think they lived up to that claim from my experience. We highly recommend reserving a table online and selecting the high tops! Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The vibe at Posto was cool. I’m not a big alcoholic drinker but they have a decent selection at the bar. Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The service can be a little slow. It was a pretty slow night when we visited and it took a while to see the waiter in between having our apps and placing the order for our main course. Overall we still enjoyed our server and found him polite. I’d rate Posto at Assembly Row five stars!

We tried 4 pizza flavors which varied from very good (soppressata) to meh (roasted garlic). Also sampled 2 pastas (fungi and carbonara) and they were solid, but both definitely could have used more salt. The Caesar salad was nothing special. Overall decent/10

Came here for a dinner for 2 people. We had drinks, 2 appetizers, a pizza and dessert. The mortadella pistachio ricotta was my favorite dish. I wish they would make this in pizza form. I think it would be a smash hit. The garlic pane was cheesy and nice with the ricotta appetizer. We had the prosciutto pizza. I am not the biggest fan of neopolitan style pizza. I find the center to be too soggy personally but the dough was nice and it had similar texture to the pizza dough we just had in Naples Italy where I traveled a few weeks ago. I did not sample the pasta but had the panna cotta dessert which was good. Server was very friendly. I sat near the door and it was a bit chilly everything it was opened. Winter might be even more problematic as its only October currently. Loved the open kitchen and view of the gorgeous oven.

I have tried their pizza and pasta; I’d say the pasta quality holds up to good north end restaurants; the sauce is rich and the pasta is cooked to perfection. Their pizza is good not great. The staff there are really friendly and the place feels cozy!

Cool place! The service was awesome, views are nice, area is great. The food was good as well, the olives were really good. I found the pizza was good, but wasn’t amazing, especially for the price tag — We had 2 beers, 2 pizzas, and olives, and all in was $110. But overall good place.

Absolutely amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious—from the appetizers to the entrées. The pizzas were especially legit. Service was top-notch, too. Posto has definitely become my new favorite spot in Assembly Row!

Liliana was the best server!! We had a great time here at Brewer’s Fork. We ordered the sausage pizza & beets. Albeit expensive, the beets were incredibly delicious with a perfect slightly tangy sauce and layered with pistachios mixed in! The beets themselves were very tender! The sausage pizza came out fast and it was relatively decent sized for the price (6 small pieces). The cheese tasted extremely fresh. I wish there was a bit more sausage on it and the bottom was a bit thicker since the dough was slightly collapsing with the weight of the sauce and cheese/other toppings. The crust though took the prize, it was crispy but also chewy on the inside and tasted slightly of sour dough! The interior is extremely pleasant with large wooden tables, a bar (not 100% full) and nice music! The service was fast and Liliana our server was so amicable and attentive! The only drawback to this place was there is very limited parking in the area and no handicap spots nearby if you are looking to park super close. We will definitely be coming back here for the personable service, fresh food, and wonderful overall atmosphere!

Culinary creativity and strong execution describe the food here. Every dish I tried was 10/10 (only exception was oysters bombs, toppings did not feel harmonious to the oyster flavor + too salty). The beets was a refreshing appetizer. Bright mint, ripe tomatoes and sweet beets contrasted nicely with nuts and a savory sauce. Mussels were tender and sauce were perfect with the croutons. Meatballs were fresh, retained their juices and had a nice blend of herbs and spices. Would definitely return to try other items on their large menu.

Had an early dinner here in a week night after climbing the Bunker Hill monument. Staff were super friendly and had great recommendations. Our waitress, Rachel, was exceptional. There was a large selection of wines and beers. I was really happy to see some great Belgian Trappist beers on offer, though these were obviously bottles and not on tap. Food was great, I had a killa bee pizza which was cooked to perfection. The cheese board had some tasty and interesting ingredients such as some pickled carrots and pepper jam. This was an amazing spot. We arrived somewhat early for dinner service and the Dodd arrived surprisingly fast as there were only a few other customers at the time. I would absolutely come back and recommend this spot. There are some high chairs available as well as a changing station for your little ones. There is also a large high top table which could accommodate a party of up to 14 guests and an outdoor seating area with umbrellas.

Brewer’s Fork has been on my list for a while, and I’m so glad I finally made it! The bar service was fast and friendly, the tap list was solid, and the Killa B pizza was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Our favorite pizza spot in Boston! We’ve been going to Brewer’s Fork for years and still make a point to stop by anytime we’re in the city. The wood-fired pizzas are amazing — the OG garlic pizza is our favorite, and their seasonal corn is great too. The meatballs are also amazing, and the burger and turkey sandwich are delicious. Super laid-back, family-friendly vibe with great outdoor seating and the best Aperol spritz in the city!

It was a crisp fall evening and we'd just moved into Charlestown marina. We stumbled upon Michael and Kerry's Dovetail bar and were so happy to find a warmly atmospheric place so close by. Then they told us they had a restaurant just on the other side of the Tobin Bridge, so we ambled over there (actually UNDER the bridge) and were again amazed - warm brick walls, subdued lighting, great selection of music and fabulous pizza! Will come back to do some serious beer tasting!

Favorite place in Charlestown, take out included. All the staff is great. Bar is awesome, atmosphere overall is awesome. Pizza is the best, and love they have Saratoga sparkling water. Mike and Kari the owners, also the best.

I went back to Armando's after 30 years to the same face ( owner) still there serving up fantastic pizza. You won't be disappointed with this pizza, traditional or Sicilian are both great! thank you

I’ve been wanting to try this ever since I saw it on tik tok. Best pizza I’ve had since visiting the Boston area. Staff is friendly and feels like family. Everyone person that walked in was greeted with a smile. I ordered half tray of Sicilian and a greek salad. I will be back again when I visit.

BEWARE. Prior to this review, I had given Armando‘s five stars however today I ordered six slices of Sicilian pizza not realizing that and I quote from the owner. I would’ve got more pizza for less money if I got a half sheet but he took it upon himself to make sure I paid more for less . This place is out to rob you. They don’t care about their customers. They just want their money.

What happened!? The dough is completely different and nearly inedible. Please don't change the recipe. If you were experimenting for a "crispier" crust, the experiment failed. I'm still leaving a 4 star review to not hurt your business, but please don't change the dough. The new dough is stale, crispy but in a fake way, flavorless, textureless. It does not work with the sauce or cheese, just a stiff, tasteless dough. Please go back to the old recipe🙏 Have a great day!

A couple cheese slices or Sicilian slice from here delivers every single time. Haven’t visited in a couple years, and so glad to see it’s as good as ever. Thank you for running such a cool pizza place.

Really delicious cash only joint. After months of Domino's, we thought we would try Armando's. With a modest self-proclaim to fame 'Best Pizza in West Cambridge', we were encouraged by the locality of their claim. And we were not disappointed. Totally delicious and piping hot pizza with respectable pizza bubbles only obtained from a hot oven. Its cash only, but they have a not so shady (maybe a 3 on the shade meter) ATM on the inside.

This is one of those rare gems you find tucked away in a little neighborhood a little off the beaten path but right next to the bus stop. This family owned restaurant has been around for 51 years! Armando passed the place down to his daughter and you will often find her son Mike (see photo) behind the counter making the pizzas and subs. If you dine in you might be surprised at how many people he knows on a first name basis. But unlike so many local places you will feel like family even if you are from out of town or even out of state! We had the Sicilian pizza and it was a perfect balance between thick crust and yet still had that crispy crust. The chicken parmesan sandwich was also a hit providing not just dinner but lunch the next day because it was so big! We also had the classic Italian sub, antipasto, and the pasta fagioli soup. Go prepared they only take cash but they do have an ATM machine on-site if you forget.

The best damn pizza I’ve had since Rome. This is authentic Italian pizza. The staff are great. The young man at the front is a sweetheart. The salad was really good too. I ordered this two nights in a row while in Chelsea. Everything and everyone top quality ❤️

One of the best pies I have had in a while. Reminds me of Pizza in Naples. The crust is perfectly cooked with right amount wood oven char. The ingredients are fresh simple and delicious. This place uses real olive oil and what seems to be hand picked meats. One pie is enough to share. Hard to find places like this anymore. Loved it!

The bake on the pizza was spot-on with just the right balance of crispness and chew. The sauce was tangy and robust. The gentleman who greeted us made a wonderful first impression, offering a warm welcome that set the tone for our very first dining experience on our East Coast trip. I highly recommend! It’s very easy to just give a business a 5 star if they do everything right. But to go out of your way to write a review is when you genuinely wish the owners and employees the best. This pizza was amazing for one. The atmosphere was very homie. I wanted to stay longer. The owner is talkative, friendly, welcoming. This place is a great place to visit. I’m a NYC local, next time I’m in Boston/Chelsea I will definitely stop by and have a pie. Wish you a your business the best man. Great Margherita pie. Ohhh another thing. The cheese is made in house and you do not feel bloated after eating. ❤️

Don’t even know where to start, we had a reservation for 8pm and were told to wait outside — seated at 8:28PM. This seems to be consistent across all negative reviews and is clearly an issue here. The food was really not good — everyone at our table agreed. Arancini overcooked, pizza (potato pizza) flavorless, mushrooms were cold and lemony which may be appealing to some but not my group. Maybe we got a consistent bad luck of the draw but the ratings for this place and our experience did not align whatsoever. Worst $50+/pp dining experience in 2025 for me

We made a reservation for 5pm, and were one of the first ones to dine at the place as soon as it opened for dinner time. Considering there were only two of us dining inside the restaurant, food took really long to come out (but we saw a lot of take out orders being put out....) Appetizer came out after 25-30 minutes. Then our first pasta dish came out 15 minutes after. It was fine until the second pasta came out another 15 minutes later. When asked when the second dish was coming, our server reminded us that the carbonara takes longer than other dishes and said it would be another minute which turned into 5-7 minutes. By the time my pasta came out, my sister was done with her pasta. Now for the food review: the food was alright. Felt more fusion than authentic. If you are looking for just a good, authentic Italian place, I wouldn't recommend. The vongóle was nothing like a traditional vongóle, the sauce was red, slightly spicy and sweet. Never seen sweet corn in vongóle. Carbonara was also nothing like a traditional carbonara I expected. It was kind of flavorless and the texture was more soupy than cheesy. My impression of the pastas here was as if somebody with no culinary knowledge tried to be creative. Seems like our experience is consistent with the horrible service reviews here. Would not visit again.

Cozy and small restaurant with sharable plates and good wine. Our waitress recommended a perfect wine from Umbria and our favorites were the funghi pizza and arancini. The only thing that could be better was the bread that came with the olive oil, it was not fresh and very mediocre :(

Not a great dining experience. We made a reservation at 5 pm on a Tuesday which is when the restaurant opens. The food took way too long to come out especially since we were one of the only few customers there. The wait itself is forgivable but what wasn’t was the fact that it took 20 mins between the dishes to come out and we only ordered one pasta each. My sister had to stare at me eat for 20 minutes before hers came out. Questionable how this could be because the restaurant had just opened and there seemed to be plenty of staff in the kitchen and servers. For starters, Arancini was not great—tasted a little burnt and lacked sauce. Vongole was very disappointing, strayed way too far from what vongole is supposed to be. Couldn’t tell what the flavor was, a mix of some spice and sweetness from corn underneath the pasta. The savory flavors of clam which is what one would expect when they order a vongole were nowhere to be found. Carbonara was okay, nothing special. There was this clumpy yellow thing which appeared to be from the yolk but other reviews are saying they’re uni? Certainly was not uni. The menu didn’t say that either. The only positive thing I can say about the food is the pasta itself. The noodles were fresh and had good texture. They must’ve made it from scratch given the amount of time it took them….if not…..id be very concerned how they manage to serve any of the customers in reasonable time.

I visited Coppa for a brunch meal, and was welcomed with a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. It was a great place to visit alone and take my own time to rest and enjoy my meal, which was not too special but still very much enjoyable. The service was prompt and friendly, if not entirely polished. Waitstaff are attentive without being intrusive, maintaining a relaxed pace that suits the brunch crowd well. However, occasional lapses in professionalism, like casual staff chatter near guests, detract slightly from the restaurant’s refined image. The overall experience, nonetheless, was undeniably pleasant and comfortable. The ambience of warmth, attention to flavor and a genuine neighborhood charm makes it a very nice spot for leisurely brunches as well as more intimate dinners with such a wide variety of Italian options available to order with its own little twists popping out of unexpected places.

First time visiting here. The burrata was so good, cavatelli was OUTSTANDING! Will revisit to try other pasta menus 😋

Great food with friendly service Had soppressata, zucca and broccolini for three people. I really enjoyed soppeessata (pizza) which was savory with hint of sweetness from honey. Zucca was good-olive was a great kick that went well with the overall dish. Broccolini was my favorite; it was not too strong nor bland. Seasoned well with grinded cheese and spices.

One of the noisiest restaurants we've been to, as the noise has no where to go, it just bounces off the walls and comes rights back at you. Great family birthday celebration in a busy, welcoming, neighborhood restaurant! The wait was fine for our large party of 6 and our server was great - arriving whenever we needed anything. Each of us enjoyed our dishes, while the initial salad was large enough for all to share. Our server tried to get a birthday cake timed right for our daughter, but things didn't work out - it was if she did it on purpose, hmmm... Friday night in the summer - ferry into Boston; sounds pretty perfect! Like some of the pics. Then a casual walk into the North End.

The wife was craving some Italian food, so we decided to give this place a shot, and boy I'm glad we did! I ordered a nice old-fashioned, and it was good. The drink was really sweet, which I certainly didn't mind at all. I felt great after a few sips, so I knew that the bartender and I was good friends already. Next, I got the pizza. I made my own with mozzarella cheese, and added pepperoni and sausage. It was so delicious that I ate the entire pizza with no hesitation! My only complaint is that the pizza was a bit slimy and this establishment does not serve ranch, which is weird. The service was good too, which is highly unusual. Needless to say, the waiter had experience and I loved that she had a personality. Overall, the food was pretty delicious and I would recommend this restaurant. Ratings Pizza, 9 out of 10. Old-fashioned, 10 out of 10.

My sister and I love Italian food so we went to this place. TWICE! The pasta is great and the portions are just right. The lobster ravioli was the best, I didn’t like the ricotta but that me and cheese but the lobster amazing. Pasta was perfect, calamari was delicious. No issues if you’re in Boston this place the place to go for dinner. The vibe is like a goodfella family restaurant. It’s super cool

We came in on Sunday night. It was very busy and is clearly a popular spot. That said, our experience was abysmal. Upon arriving we sat for 20 minutes until we had to ask a busboy if we had a server. She finally showed up and we quickly ordered calamari, spaghetti pomodoro and a pizza. The calamari came out relatively quickly but it was downhill from there. The food took 50 minutes to come out, and once it did, it was extremely disappointing. The $24 spaghetti was literally swimming in overly sweet sauce. They might as well crack open a can of chef boyardee and dump it in the bowl. The pasta was soggy and swimming in sauce. The pizza was also soggy and impossible to eat because it had way too much ricotta. We ate half the meal and got the check as quickly as possible. The restaurant is extremely loud and between the service, the food and the noise, we were desperate to leave.

Tried this Italian spot in the North End and the food was really good, big portions and very tasty. The only downside was how noisy it was inside, and our server wasn’t very attentive. Great place if you’re just there for the food, but don’t expect much from the service or the atmosphere.

We came across Antico Forno during a North End Food Tour with Bobby. It was absolutely delicious and the service was remarkable! The Neapolitan pizza was superb! I'm still thinking about it (and I don't love pizza) after returning home from my trip. The pasta was a perfect al dente! Just all so good!

The food is amazing. One of the best tomato sauces I ever had. The arancini appetizer is great. I had the parmigiana di pollo and my dad had the Rigatoni Alla Boscaiola. Both were delicious.

Food was good overall, we felt the meatballs were the best dish here. There is better chicken parm in the north end. Also WATCH OUT! They only ask if you want still or sparkling water and they charge you TEN $10 DOLLARS PER BOTTLE. You have to ask for tap water which they do not even advertise. Was not happy about this. I was trying to save some money by getting water but instead I could’ve got drinks. Disappointed. While the food is good, there are better north end options.

Quattro: The North End was an Italian Dream! The pizza fritta was amazing and huge! We ordered 3 of them. We happen to be in the area and with the amount of folks in the restaurant we decided to try it and was super impressed. The food was true Italian and delicious, a tad expensive but worth it! The atmosphere was pleasant. The restrooms were sparkling clean. The waiter was kind and watched what we needed. They were super helpful and tasty!

True Italian blooded place. Waiter rejected my friends request for capaccino before food (as he should). Food is very filling and delicious. Atmosphere is fantastic. There is a bit of a wait.

The chicken parm was good – big and crispy – but I’ve had better. Service was friendly despite the crowd – and sitting by the open windows looking out onto the street made the meal even better. If you’r craving generous, well-made Italian food - Quattro is a solid pick. Just make sure someone at the table gets the lasagna.

the food here is really fantastic and the dining room and kitchen are gorgeous. the staff acted like they were from Olive garden* though. there is a pizza window directly to the kitchen from the sidewalk and would suggest going that route the gnocchi and meatball app were truly great, the mushroom pizza was very good bathroom was a standout more for the single person setup with a giant two-person sink than the uncleanliness *this is not a compliment

Came here with a large group with a reservation at the recommendation of one of the party who is Italian and thinks the pizza is the most authentic to what he can get at home. For appetizers we had the calamari, the zucchini flowers, and baby octopus. I was surprised at how heavy and coated the zucchini flowers were as I thought it would be a lighter dish. The octopus was good although not all of the party enjoyed the texture and calamari was typical. We tried many of the pizzas. The dough is fantastic. I was surprised by the mortadella and pistachio pizza but it was fantastic combination of flavors. All the pizza was great. They come in a quarter slice. Perhaps we could have asked for smaller cuts but we ended up cutting it ourselves at the table as everyone wanted to sample. We tried two pasta dishes and passed it around the table. The fruiti de mar had salmon which was not my favorite fish to have in pasta and the fusilli was also ok. I would stick to pizza in the future here which was delicious.

Our family of five (including 3 young boys) stopped here for dinner on a busy Saturday. I am so glad we did! The service was excellent (fast and attentive) and the food was outstanding. We got the lasagna, spaghetti, ravioli, and cheese pizza - every dish was delicious. Highly recommend! Family friendly and well worth the wait.

During our time in Boston, we visited this place twice, and both times were fantastic. The Italian food is authentic and unforgettable. On our first visit for dinner, it was a bit tricky to find a table, they had space but only offered seats at the bar, which isn’t ideal if you’re not into drinks. On our second visit for lunch, we were luckier and got a proper table, and the service was much better. Overall, the food makes it absolutely worth coming back.

Had dinner here with my wife and we ordered the Chicken Piccata and a Margherita-style pizza. The Chicken Piccata was the highlight of the meal — the portion was generous, the chicken breast was tender and well-cooked, and the lemon-butter sauce with capers gave it a bright, tangy flavor that paired perfectly with the dish. Food here was soo good! Love the charcuterie board so much. It was my first time having one and I loved being able to customize it! The pasta and pizza was great, I recommend the funghi pizza it was so good.

Tasty pizza, and friendly staff/atmosphere. We ordered 3 meals for 5 people. We ordered the Polpette Sandwich (meatball), Salsiccia Pizza and the Bianco all very tasteful. Our favorite was the Bianco pizza!

You know those moments that feel magical? My meal here was one of those moments. There was a 20 minute wait when we arrived so we went to bar for a drink. The bar tender was great. We were 1 all short and the groups on both sides of us offered a stool. The wine was amazing and the bar tender suggested we should just have the whole bottle. It was very solid advice. We got a cheese board. It came out quickly and everything was great. The smoky shallot jelly is really smoky, but complimented the flavors. The pickles and bread were so good. When out table was ready someone came and carried our cheese board. The hostess noted we were out of bread and brought us some more. We didn't even ask. We got the roasted Cesar, the pasta Primavera and the mushroom pizza. We had the olive oil cake for dessert. Each thing was well cooked and delicious. We were gifted the asparagus app and a scoop of chocolate hazelnut Gelato. If they had know us for years they couldn't have chosen better things to send our way. I felt so cared for and the food was fabulous. I'd go back again. In fact, next time I'm in Boston, I will.

You wouldn't expect anything great by just looking at it. Small, seems busy, not new. You would say a hole in the wall. Then you get to the counter and see all the selections of pizza they have. I ordered a plain pie and it's only $20. You could order a beer also if you want. Interesting. I paid the man and about 10 min later, he came with the pie. When i say this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had, I am not joking. I've had pizza in Italy, I make my own. So I'm from NJ so we have some really good pizza between us and NYC. This is up there with those pizzas. Great undercarriage, lots of semolina on it, no flop. Sauce is on the sweeter side but not overly which made it so good. Cheese is fantastic. Tastes like Grande but can't be sure. The people next to us had 2 meetball slices and they were commenting on every bite. They loved it. I would assume pizza this good should be closer to that $30 range. This is a steal. It is great, in the heart of little Italy. Can't recommend it enough. You're in Boston, it's worth a stop. Then head over to Mike's Pastry for dessert!

So far this has been the best slice I've had in Boston. Good amount of cheese with a nice touch of char, delicious sauce and the perfect undercarriage with no flop. Believe it or not, this was actually one slice too, they had to cut it in half lol. Make sure to stop by for a pie (or at least a slice)!

Was searching for a slice and decided to pop in here - extremely disappointed. We ordered a pepperoni slice and a margarita slice. Both had soggy crust, and flavorless sauce, the pepperoni was overly oily and too cheesy. They did give us 2 for the price of 1 on both which we appreciated; the staff were all kind. The quality of the pizza is not good.

We were exploring North End and needed a snack for later and decided to stop by and get some slices. We got the eggplant pizza to go and it was good. A good option if you want something and quick and with good flavor.

We had a simple margarita pizza and a simple pepperoni pizza with extra extra pepperoni. Sadly Their version of extra extra pepperoni isn't the same as my version of extra extra pepperoni. This thin crust pizza was pretty good. The guys that work there have a great attitude.And it's got a really fun vibe. We went there after a show, so it was pretty empty. Just before closing, they got our order out really fast.

Upper Crust on Charles Street has been reliably good every time I have visited. The pizza is just right, with a crisp crust, well-balanced sauce, and quality cheese. The slices are generous and satisfying. The slice and drink special is a great value, especially in this part of the city. Service is quick, direct, and efficient. It is easy to stop in, order, and get on your way. There are plenty of tables inside and a decent number outside if you want to sit and enjoy your meal. The location is hard to beat. Just a few blocks from Boston Common and the Public Garden, it is a perfect stop for a casual lunch or snack. This is my go-to spot when I want a quick, high-quality slice in the area.

Stopped by on our trek of the Freedom Trail hungry after hours of walking. We wanted something quick before we headed for the pastry shoppes and this placed smelled amazing from a block away. Service was quick for a single slice and the pizza itself was good but not great. The pizza did have a bit of a weird aftertaste after eating it about half way. The inside is simple and fine as long as it's not too busy otherwise they would likely run out of seating.

If you love thin crust pizza this is your place. The pizza was amazing, but the fried mozzarella was okay at best. There is a place to sit though it’s limited. Service was fast despite the July 4th rush hour!

Giving them a 1-star just because the way I was greeted and treated when I came in. I had my 10 pound dog with me to pick up my food, the first thing I got was that I had to leave because I had a dog and 2 guys started pointing me to get out, like WTH! I was treated like if I was doing something wrong or misbehaving. At first I didn't understand since they caught me so of guard, I approached the counter and asked to repeat and one of the guys rolled his eyes and left, the other told me once again, I had to leave because I had a dog. Am like, im just picking up my food, he gave it to me and didn't say a word. Very hostile and very unprofessional. Stramboli was pretty good BUT, unfortunately I will NEVER come back just because of how rude and unprofessional they behaved. Not even a hello or even asked if I was dinning in or just picking up. I would've been fine if they had greeted me and told me that I couldn't eat inside cause of my dog. Also, he's a service dog! The Upper Crust Pizzeria, teach your employees better. This is how you drag a business to the ground!

Excellent pizza for takeout! Didn’t feel overly expensive, pizza was very light and flavorful. Great selection and high quality pizza toppings. Caesar salad was plenty big too. I would definitely come back here again for future pizza nights. North End is full of great spots.

The strawberry Negroni was pretty good if you like Negroni. The Cesar salads were great but the ones with arugula were very over powering. The pizza was fantastic the crust was really good.

Had an opportunity to try Locale for the 1st time. Great overall experience. Thought both the food and service were great. Place is on the small side. Not a ton of seating available, so that could be an issue when busy. Parking in the area on general is terrible and had to use one of the lots down the street. As far as food goes, I started off with the Artichoke dip and felt it was good. Went with Cloud Candy IPA and it wasn't overly hoppy. Went with the Rocco pizza for the main attraction, which is basically an Italian meat lovers. Good amount of toppings and really good overall taste. A little bit of grease, but to be expected. The sauce is what I'd call succulent, very good taste, not bitter. The crust was good, but a little floppy. Not too bad. Good amount of cheese coverage. Lots of options in the area, glad I crossed them off the list. Really good Neopolitan style pizza.

Loved everything. Food was great, a little cramped but manageable, service was awesome. Madeline, the El Salvadorian white girl 😁, really deserves a lot of credit. She took care of us from beginning to end. She didn't miss a beat and did it all with a infectious smile real genuine attitude. I wished I lived in Boston because this would become my favorite spot. And The Bianco would be my goto dish. Thanks for the experience, I'm going to have brag when I make it back home to Dallas, TX. Update: 8/27/23 Back again for the tasty pizza and to see that smile. Once again Madeline didn't disappoint, from actually recognizing us to making sure we were taking care of. Different set of coworkers with me this time but same response, everybody complimented the pizzas and service. Hopefully I'll be back in a couple of weeks to get some more.

Very tasty Italian restaurant. We had the melanzane, an eggplant starter with mozzarella and tomato sauce. My Rigatoni alla Norma was also good. People in my party who ordered the Chitarra, a cheesey spaghetti served from inside a parmesan wheel, were extremely happy with their meal. Good wine selection, too. I also visited years ago and tried the pizza, which is a traditional Neapolitan style. I don't recall how it is but it looks good.

Have dined at Gran Gusto several times in several different locations in the dining room both indoors and outdoors. It has always been very busy on all occasions I have visited and have always dined with between 6 to 8 people. Parking is plentiful behind the restaurant. They have excellent pizza and pasta dishes and my Italian friend who has been in the US for about 3 years loves this place. The calamari appetizer is refreshingly not deep fried. My daughter enjoys the margherita pizza. I had the nerano pizza which I have never seen in other restaurants in Boston consisting of some thin zucchini slivers and Provolone de Monaco which was delightful. Also tried the pistachio and mortadella pizza which was also very good. My grade school aged daughter has also had the ragu and the chitarra. She did not like the chitarra in the wheel of cheese due to the pecarino being too sharp and sheepy for her palate. She loved the ragu which was very pleasantly al dente. I have had the scialatelli sea food pasta and few times and enjoy it and it seems consistently made. Other members of my party have had the lasagna and the orechiette and enjoyed those dishes. My daughter loves the torta caprese an almond flour chocolate cake with vanilla Gelato. All in all the servers are pleasant; in the summer evenings the patio is a delightful place to dine. Great for families, medium sized groups, and, children.

Weird experience overall. Blantant racism and rude service. Food was also lukewarm. Upon walking in, the staff insisted on speaking Italian to us. Even after we replied "we're good" to their greeting, the waiter got really close to my friend's face and insisted they say "come sta?". Servers kept looking at us and our table in a not welcoming way, standing next to us and hovering a lot somehow. Portions were small...The calamari was ok, but the pasta was cold even after being tossed in the cheese wheel. Clientele was questionable (though I understand it's out of their control) and racist. Talked about whether the cheese wheel was unsanitary right next to us as we're eating... Sadly won't be visiting again, was excited to try since their shop looked cute.

Everything here was great! The atmosphere was perfect and we awere seated outside. It was beautiful then we got our food very fast and the service was phenomal. I ofc loved the margarita pizza the best but even the pasta was exceptional

We’ve been to Gran Gusto 5+ times, and everything has always been phenomenal. Food, drinks, service, all exceptional- every time. They even have parking! Can’t recommend this place enough! I even saw on Reddit that they import everything from Italy weekly, even the pizza ovens, and having recently been to Napoli, I can attest that the pizza is authentic! Fair prices too - this place is worth it, and then some!

This is definitely the best Italian restaurant in the greater Boston area. The food here is very authentic and reminds me of some of the best food I had during my numerous visits to Italy. I love the calamari for appetizer, and their Scialatielli with mixed seafood is heavenly! They also have daily specials and these are usually amazingly tasty; for example I remember having a cod dish that was fantastic. During summer months they might also have an amazing daily-special appetizer with melon, Mozzarella and prosciutto. The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating, as well as an outdoor patio. During summer months, it's really nice to sit outside.

Fantastic place for pizza and italian food in general. The quality of the ingredients is extremely high. Antonio and his team do a great job at creating a real Italian atmosphere in the restaurant. Very family friendly.

Excellent pizza. Absolutely recommend the Mozzarella and Onion Pizza. You will not regret it. 9/10 Barbecue chicken pizza 6/10. A little too sweet for my liking. Definitely coming again.

Probably one of the best places to eat out in Boston. I tried their Cheese pizza, veggie pizza and the vegan margarita pizza and I loved them all. Also loved the customer service over there. Big cheers to Ricky for that. Another great thing is they have some tables for outdoor dining.

This place is amazing. My first time here & I had a new non-alcoholic beer from a new brand they just brought in from a brand called "Kolsch". The pizza however was the best part - brick oven made - the way pizza should be made. I was craving this tonight and I was satisfied. My server at the bar, Gunner, was kind enough to give me a rice crispy treat at the end. Very helpful and kind staff. I saved it on my Google maps in order to bring my friends here someday.

This is the most incredible pizza I've ever tasted. The homemade dough strikes a perfect balance between crispy and soft, creating a melt-in-your-mouth experience. I highly recommend this pizza to anyone looking for a delicious meal. I will definitely come back again.

Went at off peak hours. Alfresco seating, nice weather, a little windy, good pizza, sauce was on the side, strawberry lemonade was ok but I've had much better.. parking a bit of a challenge.. prompt courteous service.

As someone from New Jersey I would’ve never expected such delicious pizza, but I think I have found the best pizza I’ve ever had! The pepperoni is chopped up into tiny bits and the crust on the pizza is insanely tasty. 10/10. Staff is so sweet and helpful. It did take a while to get our check and get the attention of the waitress, but that is to be expected when it’s so busy. The homemade rice krispy treats were the cutest way to end off the lunch. Great atmosphere and amazing food overall!!!

As a New Yorker, I only eat good pizza, I don’t care if it’s $5 a slice. Coming to Boston I thought I would put on 20 lbs from eating pizza but was disappointed until I tried Stoked Wood. They have a large arrangement of pie options and for the price you can’t go wrong. It can be far for some people if you’re in Boston I would say make the trip. They give you a rice crispy treat with your order and staff is really attentive. Highly recommend

This cozy little pizza shop seems to be a neighborhood classic in Somerville as people are in and out with pizza in one hand and a smile on their faces. The service was fantastic getting greeted right away. The menu looks to be changing as it's on paper and the selection is diverse. There was no price that I have seen on the menu but I could be wrong. They serve alcohol which is nice for being in the 21+ crowd as they also have a space next to the pizza shop for hanging out and playing board games and pinball. The drink selection is great for a pizza shop. The pizza had a great size and smell to it. As we pull the pizza slice away from the other slices the tip just falls with all the toppings and cheese falling onto the pan. After picking up the fallen pieces the pizza had great flavor. The sauce was a bit more sweet and reminded me of beach pizza. The cheese was pulled off the pizza with too much ease. The grease was pouring down the crust and onto the pan. The dough was a bit chewy for a thin crust. Overall, good experience with the service. The atmosphere was unique and fun. The pizza was okay after picking up the pieces. I would say going there every once and a while is great but nothing I would go out of my way for.

Pretty fast service and pizza was thin yet good. I didn’t see any Parmesan cheese to be added, but then again I didn’t ask for it although I did see chile peppers. Drinks were pretty good as well and were done fast. Overall, I would return and buy a whole pizza again

Need a quick slice? Feel like having a crispy, cheesy, tasty napolitano-style that holds up without folding? (but fold if you must... they won't judge...) Dragon Pizza is an easy walk for a great slice or two-- or six, which is what you'll get if you order their 18 inch large pizza, coincidentally the only type of pizza you can get here if you're not ordering by the slice, but totally worth it. And for those of a certain age craving some vintage 80s-style music (in the view of cassette tapes on the wall), you'll love that, too. It's a small place that feels with a college vibe, but matches any age in style. Four stars for atmosphere only because it's not an "atmosphere" place-- it's a pizza place supporting the in/out customer. Definitely coming back...

Great pizza, great beers, great staff. Also has more of a "games room" next door, that might have more "atmosphere" but I was just there for some food and drink after a week working in the area. Staff were nice to talk to, slices and beer came quickly. Good prices. Would have stayed for more but would have been found slumped in the corner. So will save it as a place to visit again next time I'm over.

Chill local spot! The drink offerings are a gem! Came here for the first time just for afternoon drinks with friends and enjoyed the vibe. I was very pleased upon my return to find that the pizza rocks and they still have a great selection of beverages. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

I went today during Porchfest and boy was that crew working hard! It was a mad house but they were keeping it moving. They were all sooo nice. I had the maple bacon cheddar slice which was divine with a house spritz. The mix of flavors in that slice were perfect and the sauce tasted super natural and homemade. Then I went for seconds and had buffalo chicken slice and an espresso martini. I did not love the buffalo slice. It was missing the blue cheese or ranch topping touch in my opinion. The espresso martini was great! Loved their back patio! If im back in the area I’ll def be back.

They offer all their varieties of pizza by the slice which is an awesome way to try different flavors and not over eat by buying whole pies like we do in other places. Their pizzas are thin crust, bubbly and charred, just how we like it. They serve alcohol as well as gelato. The place is hot with the pizza ovens going even with the front and back doors open despite it being a windy cool evening so it’s a tad uncomfortable eating in but we did anyway.

Absolutely unreal steak bomb sandwich. Good portions too. I added mustard, hots and tomato. I will probably order that moving forward. only $11 or so as well. Leones is cash only with an ATM on location. The service was fairly friendly but it took a very long time. There is a constant flow of delivery pick-ups and other people standing around waiting.

Great Sicilian, round pizza, and subs. My favorite is the Eggplant parm. They are cash only but have an ATM on site.

They always have great food, down to earth staff. There’s one woman who works here she’s shorter and wears glasses… let me tell you, she makes a MEAN egg, pepperoni, cheese, and grilled onion sub! She’s always so sweet as well!

Wish I could have eaten here. Used to love this place. . No debit or credit accepted. So the conveniently have an ATM in the store where they make three dollars every time you use it. . They know people have to use it and Jo one has cash on them. Well that’s what they are banking on. Pissed I was hungry.

CASH ONLY or order online and pay a premium. Delicious Sicilian style, loved the spinach garlic. Loaded with mozzarella. Crunchy edges. Almost a thin focaccia if you’ve never had it. Worth a try. President Obama’s favorite while at Harvard.

Amazing pizza, cheesy and delicious subs. Feels and tastes like home and childhood pizza runs. No complaints, will keep coming back (especially for the Sicilian pizza).

We came here on a cold and rainy night. The meal was overall pretty nice. The appetizers were decent. The chicken parm sandwich was interesting and tasted good. The garlic knot bun did come a bit burnt, however, and was too hard to eat with the chicken cutlet. The meal also came with a steak knife, so it was clearly meant to be possibly eaten without the bun. It just felt that the bun was unnecessary and made it too hard to eat. The ravioli was very creamy and had a nice truffle flavor. The pizzas were very good, especially the pepperoni. It was sweet, rich, and coated with tons of pepperoni. The margarita pizza was good. What was a bit confusing was this restaurants two ‘different’ crusts. They charge different prices for what they consider 1) Neapolitan and 2) New York. When we ordered, the waiter advertised ‘upgrading’ to a New York style, and said that the Neapolitan would have to be eaten with a fork and knife for how thin it is, and that the New York style could be eaten normally. This was bizarre, advertising the New York option as ‘paying to be able to eat your pizza normally.’ After ordering both styles we were more confused, because when we got the pizzas, the crust had absolutely no difference, and didn’t seem to be either New York style or Neapolitan (for both pizzas). It was altogether very misleading. The staff here were friendly though, and the atmosphere was nice. It was very dark, and a bit hard to read the menus however. There were no hooks to hold jackets which was a little annoying. The food came out so fast, with the whole meal for 5 people coming out within 10 minutes- the fastest at any restaurant I’ve ever been to. I wish that the tables were wider, the high top we sat at was incredibly cramped for five people and the plates and pizza could barely fit on the table. Overall the quality of the food was really good, but there are a few things that could be improved.

The Source Restaurant is a western cuisine restaurant located in the heart of Harvard Square serving a wide range of dishes, but specializing in Neapolitan pizza. The ambiance is lit dimly, perfect for more intimate dinners such as date nights or celebrations. Highly recommend reservations, especially on the weekend. The service was great. The staff came over, answered any questions about the menu as well as presenting the food quickly and on time. We got a build your own pizza, which contained hot honey, pepperoni, and cheese. We also got a mocktail (guava no jito) as well as a salad. The salad was made well, with a light drizzle of dressing on it that didn't overwhelm the salad. The rest of the ingredients on the salad also worked well together with it. The mocktail was sweet, not too sour but blended well the flavors together. The pizza was a highlight. A bit smaller than we expected, but had a great flavor and cooked perfectly. One downside was that the cheese/toppings fell off a bit too easily on the pizza, making it hard to eat by just picking up.

Source is one of, if not, my favorite restaurant in Cambridge! The food is phenomenal - I highly recommend the Brussel sprouts and pepperoni pizza. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely kind. I highly recommend this restaurant for date night, night out with the girls or any special occasion!! I will keep coming back!

Their prices don’t match the food quality. We order a pasta dish and the portion was very small, not even in Italy portions are that small, so don’t order the pasta if you are really hungry. We also order a pizza which was very soggy. I wanted to order a burger but didn’t because they don’t sell fries to go with it. Also, service was very slow and food took forever, not sure if they were short staffed that particular night or what happened. Keep in mind that you need to have a reservation if you want to be seated inside, or at least that’s what they told us. That was my first visit to this restaurant but I will not be coming back, there are too many and better options near by. My daughter and her Harvard class mates that were with us having dinner were also equally disappointed. I have to say the place inside looked very cozy and nicely decorated but we didn’t have a reservation so we were seated outside and it was a cold night and they don’t have outdoor heaters. We saw people with blankets when we were leaving, but they were not offered to us.

We booked Source for our wedding rehearsal dinner, hosting ~50 guests. The management and staff at Source were tremendous in helping us plan food & drink menus and ensuring that everything ran smoothly the night of the event. They were very accommodating for guests with food allergies, offering customized meals in addition to the buffet options. The food and drinks were amazing, the staff was friendly, and all of our guests had a wonderful time. The pepperoni pizza is our personal favorite, and our guests loved the cookies! We would highly recommend Source for private events, in addition to their standard dining options.

We went for their 3 course dinner for Me & You Mondays after I came across a tiktok and thought not bad for $26. It’s something relatively new that they started according to the server. I’ll talk about the food before I get to the service…. My boyfriend and I split our 3 courses. Course 1: Whipped ricotta (10/10) Chopped Salad (9/10). Loved both! The whipped ricotta is a must. The bread is fresh and the fig&honey with the ricotta is just scrumptious. Course 2: Margherita pizza (6/10) and Tagliatelle Primavera (9/10). The tagliatelle is spicy which our server warned us when asked and she was definitely right. If you like a kick to your pasta, this was very good. Not a super big portion but would get it again. The pizza on the other hand I was extremely disappointed by especially hearing from people that their pizza is good. It tasted like it was tomato paste on the pizza… wouldn’t recommend. Course 3: Mango passion fruit cheesecake (6/10) and Tiramisu (2/10). The desserts are definitely not a highlight. I’ve had a good amount of tiramisu in my life and this ranks quite low on the list considering it tasted like just cream. The cheesecake was alright especially compared to the tiramisu. The food overall, 8/10. Lost points due to the lack luster dessert. If I were to come again, I don’t think I would do the courses as I could get an appetizer and entree for a similar price since the dessert was not worth it. What disappointed me the most was the service. It was a busy day and I think they weren’t prepared for the crowd that this promotion would give them (considering it’s fairly new). When we got seated outside (didn’t make a reservation), we didn’t get water until 10 minutes in. Our appetizers took a “normal” amount of time to get to us, as did the mains. However after we finished our main course, we asked for a water refill and didn’t get one for 30 minutes! We didn’t even see our waiter for a good duration of time to ask her. It also took our dessert 30 minutes to come out too (after they cleared our plates) which is a bit absurd of time considering the dessert was probably prepared ahead of time. I eventually had to ask another waiter to get our water that was just a jug outside (I could have gotten up and filled it myself…) I had to go inside and ask our server for the check just to ensure we weren’t waiting another 20 minutes. It was pretty cold and they didn’t have heat lamps, only a few blankets that were all used up. Our server informed at the end that they were short staffed which I totally understand, it just would have been nice to know that at the beginning. Know that 20% gratuity is automatically added due to it being prefix. After course 1, we said we would want to come back especially if they rotate the prefix menu but after the service given, I’m not so sure about that. Just be prepared to eat for 20 minutes and be waiting for an hour.

The food and service were very good, above average for this type of venue, overall. On the other hand once I had finished my meal I had to wait for what seemed like an awfully long time! It’s nice not to bev rushed of course but the endless wait did annoy me. Otherwise I recommend the place and will probably come back at some point.

Pizza is awesome. They have some very unique and original pizzas that are delicious The basic pizzas are very tasty and full of flavor as well. Always fresh with a good crisp. Not too thick not too thin. It is on the pricier side, but it's worth it for the quality.

I've never gotten a bad slice at All Star. You can order pizza to be fresh made, or grab a slice of premade pizza for lunch or whatever. They normally have 4 premade pizzas for slices - cheese, pepperoni, vegetarian, and funky. The funky slices are always awesome, and kinda random. Slices are also like a 1/4th of a whole pizza so definitely worth it.

3.5 stars I recently ordered takeout from here and the plain pizza was decent. I've tried some of the speciality pies before and those seem to be much more flavorful and popular relative to the classic cheese pie. If you're looking for a classic pizza place, I'd probably look elsewhere, but for more exciting flavors I'd go here. I did have to wait longer than expected, despite ordering on the phone beforehand. I was told someone new was working on the pizza and had burned it. I was in a bit of a rush, so this was frustrating. Not a typical experience, though, I'm sure. Last thing is parking here can be challenging, because it's a very busy street.

One of the most creative and flavorful vegan pizza selections that I've ever seen and I'll definitely be back to try everything. Large portions with thick fluffy crust, and the sauce and toppings are so savory, this place always hits the spot.

Last time I was here, I didn’t really like the pizza But today was my 3rd time. And they said 3rd time is the charm. The pizza I got today was So Fresh!! Juicy too. No burnt back-side. Perfect! Also, Cooked with care. The receptionist was very welcoming. This place definitely gets 5/5 today.

Nicely located on the corner of Cambridge and Prospect st in Inman square. The pizza is considered gourmet for sure. They probably have the most toppings I have ever seen. The crust is somewhat light and airy. The place serves individual slices but they look huge. Probably more like double slices or a quarter of a pie. They offer some seating inside and customers can get drinks including beer.

Super special, cozy little neighborhood corner bar & restaurant. Detroit style pizza is on point, great classic flavor on their spaghetti and meatballs…and if you get the fried chicken Benedict…there will be no regrets. My OG love is their espresso martini but they do some mad unique and tasteful spritzers for their boozy brunch too!

Pizza is their specialty! amazing! Maple duck wings are delicious. Great pub food . The agadashi fries are so good!

This is one of my top favorite restaurants since moving to Medford. The food is always so fresh and really delicious. I can’t get enough of the Cobb salad. Their duck wings are to die for and every single pizza on the menu is a must try.

Awesome discovery in Somerville! Searching for a top rated, reasonably priced restaurant in & around Cambridge & avenue kitchen & bar came up on Google search. Looked at the menu read good reviews & decided to give it a try. Small, charming place, attentive staff, great service & delicious food. Ordered cauliflower tacos were the best I’ve had, the crispy shrimp & shishito peppers for aps & they were yummy. We ordered the beyond burger & Detroit style chefs choice pizza & both were awesome. I’ll definitely be returning to this place.

We absolutely love Avenue. Best Detroit style pizza around (from a native Detroiter)! Don’t skip out on their Cobb salad either. Service is outstanding - we’ve gone multiple times with our loud messy toddler and the staff has always gladly accommodated us.

I visited the area for a few days with my wife and kids. This would be my sleeper pick for the best family-friendly, crowd-pleasing meal in Somerville. Excellent pizza and salad, solid wings. At an incredible value. With great service and a nice atmosphere.

It was my first time trying Detroit-style pizza and I really enjoyed it. The staff accommodated food allergies and dietary restrictions well. Loved to see non-alcoholic and gluten free beer available too. Vegan cheese is available for the pizza. I’ll have to come back and try some of the other veg-friendly options they have.

Came back after 3 years away and the super beef & pickle pizza were just as delicious as I remember them. Extremely good beef, a messy delight and crispy as hell pizza.

I can’t get enough of the pickles & hot pepper pizza — the flavors are great and it’s an elite combo. The size of the pizza is good for sharing as a light dinner or snack, or a personal pie for one. It’s primarily an order and wait sort of place (there isn’t seating excepting for general tables outside shared with other venues). Also the only other downside is the pizza is a bit greasy/oily on top so you might have to dab some of it off

Met Eliseo F. at the counter today and had a really great experience. He was so pleasant and helpful, and the service was top-notch. It’s not often you encounter someone who makes a quick stop feel so welcoming. Thank you so much for making it a good one! Definitely appreciate the great service.

I broke from my usual Hotbox order to try the new steak bomb and it totally rules. The inside filling tastes like a classic mushroomy and peppery cheesesteak but the bread (sesame baguette thing) really made the sandwhich. It's kind of an odd pairing but totally works - I really noticed it. Plus the bread is solid enough to contain the mushy filling and not fall apart but isn't super hard on the roof of your mouth if that makes sense lol! Hot Box has the best fries in Union sq, the coolest people behind the counter and now has an awesome steakbomb. Loved it and am siked to try the new chicken parm next time :):):)!! Thanks guys! While I'm here - The pickle pizza is so sick. Get it!!

Stumbled across this pizza joint in Bow Market and it did not disappoint! Pizza was perfectly cooked and tasted great. I ended up catering from them for a company event and it was gone within 10 minutes! If you have the chance to pop by here, you will not be dissapointed!

I purchased 2 pizzas on gluten free crust. People rave about Otto pizza, but I must have caught them on an off day, because while I love the array of toppings I can choose from, it was just good not great. It did arrive nice and warm, which is more than I can say for my last pizza delivery that was from a location much closer. One order was wrong, and the other was not right either, and one side of the bottom of the pizza crust was charred- and not the nice pizza char, but had a burnt taste. What was supposed to be a 4 cheese pizza with extra sauce butternut squash and roasted garlic instead had ricotta and parsley. The pepperoni pizza had the mushrooms, but almost none, and only one one side really when it was supposed to be the entire pizza. I was wondering if they ran out but didn't think to call and tell me and ask if I wanted something else. The delivery driver also went to an address down the street. All he had to do was keep driving straight down the street as he was on the street. Told me it took him to another address on the same street. I told him to keep driving straight. It was super weird. I felt like he was filling in for someone else, maybe? I emailed about what happened and haven't heard back from them. Variety is the spice of life, so go, but be mindful what you paid for may not be what you get.

Meatballs and pizza slices are fabulous! My favorite pizza is the butternut squash. The sodas are the best; the flavors rotate often. Try the blueberry or root beer. July 7, 2022: I noticed that the special sodas are gone and have been replaced with more commercial sodas.

We’re visiting from Florida, but all of us have such a love for Boston and were so excited to finally be here. After driving 5 hours (with traffic!) from Philly, we checked into our hotel and looked for something nearby to eat. Otto’s Pizza by the Armory Street stop seemed like the best option, we walked about 12 minutes, and now I can truly say it was worth every step. The food was great, the view was nice, the game was playing on the TV, but what really made the experience special was Jose. Otto’s isn’t a full-service restaurant — it’s more of a kiosk setup and Jose was the only person working the front. He was taking our order (for 11 people — two families!), helping with drinks, answering questions, and doing it all with such patience and kindness. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure everyone was taken care of. At one point, my dad’s pizza was taking a little longer, and Jose came over and gently said, “I’m so sorry! we were out of pineapple, so I ran to the store really quick to get some.” My dad told him he didn’t have to do that, that we could’ve picked something else, and Jose just smiled and said, “No, it’s honestly one of our best pizzas, and I really wanted you to try it.” That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. He didn’t have to do any of that, but he chose to and it showed just how much pride he takes in his work and in treating people well. Also, a big shoutout to the person working hard in the back making all the fresh pizzas and everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. Together, they made our first night in Boston feel really warm and welcoming. Thank you, Jose. You’re not just great at your job , you’re a genuinely good person, and we appreciate you!

Great Gluten free crust! Clear menu and delicious vegan cheese!

Ate during a campus visit. Was able to get a GF and vegan cheese pizza to avoid allergens. Also had a slice of regular pepperoni too. Taste of both pizzas was good. The allergen free one was particularly good.

This “pizza” was truly the worst pizza I have ever had. I am usually pretty agreeable and rarely ever call anything bad, but this was a poor excuse to call something pizza. The crust was droopy and extremely thin, there was ZERO sauce on our pizza, and the biggest indicator: My fiancé and I had hit the pen and only finished half the pizza. If I know it’s bad then, I can’t imagine how disappointed I would’ve normally been. The cherry on top was the fact that it was $32. Save yourself the disappointment and money and just go to Pizza Hut or some other pizza chain.

Took 10 minutes just for us to order, pizza came out soggy, cold, no sauce (ordered Vodka Pasta Pizza), used lots of their garlic, red pep, and that still couldn't really save it. Tipped just cos they seemed like they were having a terrible day, even with microwaved food, it's not their fault, so I totally get it.

The pizza here is good and the service is both good and very quick! The crust is super thin—if you like that, this place is for you. A little on the pricy side for what you get.

Dropped by for lunch with a couple of co-workers, and the pizzas we had were delicious! The crust was nice and crispy, and the toppings were very creative and tasted fresh. We went around noon, and there were plenty of seats. If you're looking for a relatively quick sit-down lunch and enjoy flatbread pizza, I'd recommend trying this place out!

I like the pizza here - thin delicious crust with creative toppings. Been here multiple times and tried the pepperoni, arugula, artichoke, portobello, lobster and they are all pretty good. Overall, the menu is more limited food-wise and there are not many options besides pizza. Drink menu is quite extensive though. Nice trendy atmosphere - good for catching up with friends.

Nice, centrally located, little place with unusual pizza: thin crust with unique and tasty toppings. Pretty pricey (including tip, $55 for three portions of pizza plus three soft drinks), but clean, relatively fast and friendly and professional service. Nice and peaceful view of cemetery.

I gave this place a try because the reviews were fairly good, but the pizza was very extremely disappointing. The pizza crust was thin, soggy, and flavorless. The meats weren't good quality--the "grilled steak" pizza was essentially roast beef. The mozzarella was rubbery (on the chicken pizza). There are many other impressive pizza spots around--save your money.

A great place to go for lunch as a tourist in Boston! So much choice of food. Enjoyed some American Mac and Cheese! The small portion is ginormous . So delicious! Will definitely return when next in Boston. Public toilets available here too!

It's very close to downtown Boston. There are many vendors selling foods, snacks, souvenirs and also many shops with a good collection of apparel. I like the place because it's very walkable and there are artists and also street performances like you can enjoy. You can walk in the building of the market. There are three separate buildings. Each of them features different set of merchandise goods. There are children's play area inside and outside the building. Pets are welcomed.

This was on all of the Google searches for being a must see in Boston. There were so many food vendors and the building was historic and beautiful. There were areas to eat although it was pretty crowded. It was fun to look at all the different types of food available.

Great place to eat if in Boston. Many different options for food in an historic location. Only downside is that it can get VERY crowded during peak eating times and seating is limited to the center court or maybe outside. Lines for ordering can get confusing. Food we had was delicious. If coming to Boston, you have to try clam chowder at least once. Bathrooms are limited and small, and look like they haven’t been updated in at least 50 years, if not 100. That considered, they were still fairly clean. Parking is almost non-existent; I’d recommend an Uber/Lift to get there. Save yourself the headache of finding a spot. Parking garages may be in the area but cost $20+. I would go again if in the area.

Very eccentric and diverse group of shops and restaurants. There’s literally something for everyone and there are so many nooks and crannies you could spend a full day exploring them all. It’s a touristy area, so expect lots of people. Also, the walkways are brick and uneven, so watch where you’re stepping!

Such a cool spot. We went having no expectations, and were amazed. Almost sensory overload with how much there is to do and see. There was also a really nice farmer's market next door with fresh produce.

Menu selection is incredible, especially for those with a gluten allergy (100+ options!!!) And it tastes amazing too!! I got the fresh made gluten free pasta, and could have died it was so good. Service was a little slow and it wasn’t all that busy. Took forever for someone to come to my table and my server disappeared at times. The atmosphere is very casual. Would not recommend for a romantic dinner. It’s loud and people were letting their kids run around like maniacs. Good family night spot though. They have tables for larger groups. I loved the music and the decor. Overall a very solid meal and I would totally go back.

We had a wonderful experience here during our visit to Boston’s North End. The restaurant is cozy and inviting, and the staff were warm, helpful, and attentive. The food was fantastic from start to finish. The fresh bread served at the beginning was a great start, and the calamari was hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had. The pasta was fresh and full of flavor, and our kids absolutely loved their pizza—definitely a win for the whole family. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great Italian meal in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere!

The restaurant (and the North End!) can get quite busy even on a weeknight, although we didn’t have a reservation for a larger party. Service was pretty attentive, though there was a bit of a wait for the food. The complimentary bread was excellent, with just the right level of crunch. Every person is required to order at least one food item (no dollar minimum, but drinks don’t count). Most of us ended up with an appetizer or side, but I was impressed that they still came out with substantial portion sizes! Two of us split the pumpkin ravioli, which comes with 6 pieces for the appetizer. It’s too sweet, and while I wouldn’t order it again, I’m not disappointed either. The meatball and steamed broccoli sides were also okay but didn’t stand out for taste, though were much more filling than anticipated.

Our food was very good — not merely in flavor, it tasted like 100% honest ingredients with a light touch on the salt & spices — despite arriving with surprising speed. Service was similarly excellent; professional and prompt but with a subtle warmth so often lacking in a retail environment. Colleen was sweet and thoughtful, throughout. Highly recommend. .

We were looking for an Italian restaurant in Boston and came across this one. As a heads up, finding parking can be quite challenging. There was a parking lot a few blocks down that cost about $25 for the few hours. Once we got to the restaurant it was an hour wait and we explored a nearby bookstore while waiting. We met a few others who were waiting for a table and they were regulars for many years. The atmosphere gave you “Italian Family” vibes. More like you are eating at your Nona’s house. The food came in very large quantities, so you definitely won’t go home hungry. Compared to other Italian restaurants we frequent, the prices were high compared to the quality of the food. While it was good, we’ve had better at lower prices. We would go back, but would likely share an entree and get an appetizer.

In an area full of Italian options, I feel like we found one of the best. Hearty portions at affordable prices in comparison to other restaurants we visited in our week long trip. Photos show a few salads, a gluten free, vegetarian pizza, and the calabrese linguini. It was a wonderful meal and I plenty to share or take home. We sat upstairs overlooking a vintage building next door but there are also seats overlooking Salem st. The dining area we sat in felt like a blast from a European past and helped to elevate the experience. You can call for reservations but there are no online options. The woman running it was very friendly and helpful given the fact that we didn’t have a reservation and were waiting for half our party. Highly recommended destination if you’re in the area.

love love lovee- This is my family's spot and I love it so much. It is true Italian food! The serving sizes are very generous and everything is always so fresh and tasty. The servers are all wonderful. The inside setup is so cute like a little Italian spot & there's 2 levels! My favorite dish is the Veal Marsala. Their white sangria pictured is currently my favorite drink they have right now, I had like 3 glasses. This place is usually packed with a line so make sure you make reservations!

Stopped by this restaurant in Harvard Square on a Friday evening and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was lively with a great vibe, and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Despite it being busy and us not having a reservation, we were seated right away with no wait. Service was friendly and quick throughout our visit. The food was delicious — especially the calamari, burger, and pizza. The steak was just average, but overall this place is a solid option if you’re in Harvard Square and looking for good food in a fun setting.

Russell House Tavern is perfectly situated right in the middle of Harvard Square. The vibe here is great, with a nice two-story layout that feels welcoming and lively. My friend and I sat at the bar and found it to be the perfect spot for a casual meal and drinks. We were greeted nicely and seated right away. Service was very fast—our menus and drinks came almost immediately. The food menu might be small, but it's well-curated and perfect. We ordered a burger and a pizza; both were cooked nicely, delicious, and had great flavors. We even managed to snag a table by the window, which was lovely for people-watching the busy city go by. I definitely recommend this place if you're visiting Cambridge and want to stop for a quality bite.

Solid bar fare right in Harvard Square. Service is friendly. The atmosphere is cozy bar (seemed to have a downstairs area also that wasn’t open). We started with was basically poutine (fries, curds, and gravy). They called Harvard Fries or something. They were scrumptious and bar-salty. We also the grilled cheese, hit chicken sandwich, and a leek and onion pizza. All were prepared solidly. The pizza crust was a bit more hard-crispy than other types of thin crusts I’ve had. The grilled cheese was rich, savory, and definitely heavy on umami. The chicken sandwich was good as well, though the side salad it came with was a bit aggressive on the vinegar. All-in-all, it was a nice meal in a very convenient location.

We had the salmon, a cocktail, and pasta at Russell House Tavern. The salmon was flavorful and the cocktail spot on, though the pasta turned out a bit mushy. Our server was incredibly kind and took it off the bill without hesitation. It was a beautiful night overall—great service, good food, and a warm atmosphere.

From the second I walked up, the hostess was extremely sweet. I sat at the bar and had some of the best service that I have had so far on my Boston/Cambridge trip. The bartender gave me some samples of beers on tap and made great recommendations. And, coming from a southerner, I had an incredible fried green tomato BLT. Such a great stop for my trip and will return if I’m back in the area!

5/5 for the mussels, 4.5/5 for the lobster tail (very fresh) and 4.5/5 for the calamari. We were here at 4pm and this is the seafood before the dinner menu comes out. Always satisfied with all the options!

Best croque monsieur I’ve had in awhile if not in all-time. The sweet and spicy bacon was so succulent, made me want more.

Upon entering Max Brenner, the aroma of chocolate is delightful and initiates the craving for sweets! Their specialty is chocolate and deserts so that is what I planned on experiencing. They did not disappoint. I personally am not into anything super fancy or anything, but i shared a very large pie shaped chocolate chip cookie that was everything a cookie should be. The presentation of everything ordered was amazing (again, i only ordered chocolate and deserts), and tasted very good! My favorite part was most certainly the drinks. Each drink ordered had a generous amount of alcohol, and could be treated as a dessert in itself. Aside from the food and drinks, the cleanness of the establishment could use a little more work. There is creative decorations within the building and the layout of the seating is pretty, but slightly crowded (even though it was nearly empty when I visited). The service was ok, a little need of improvement regarding customer service. Even sitting at the bar the customer service could have used a little more work. My party did feel slightly rushed (only in the establishment just under 30 minutes), and despite each menu item feeling somewhat overpriced, it was very nice experience overall. I did get a confused vibe of which crowd the owner is trying to attract, it feels very family friendly however the music genre and volume felt like they are advertising for the young party-go-errs. Great experience, and the location of the establishment is in a very touristy area!

I really wanted to love this place and I do think it's good but it just can't get 5 stars....why? Well, It was down to the experience and that was down to the staff. We brought our 10 year old here for her birthday with her 12 year old sister. I had built up the restaurant and was so excited. We came in and the front of staff was great. Very warm and friendly. We were placed at a table on the outside of the inner circle and waited for our server- timeliness was not the issue. It was when she walked up, we were all excited about this unique restaurant, you could tell she just wanted to get through the day. So our excitement was slowly diminished as lunch went on with our drip of a waitress. The food was good but not incredible. It felt like you could get it anywhere - like The Friendly Toast. It didn't exceed expectations and I could have pushed this to a 5 had it been really good. But the food was just good not great and the staff was ok not good- so here's where we are. The cups for the hot Chocolate were great though and we bought 2 of those in the shop. Also, just a note, it was a birthday lunch and nothing was done to make my daughter feel special. I booked it and told the hostess. A birthday hot chocolate or a cupcake with a candle could have been nice, but maybe this is done on purpose to get you to do the dessert. We probably won't trek into town again to go here for lunch. And we probably wouldn't come back if I was in the area.

Great service but the bar was slow so getting a drink took a while other than that this was a great place to eat and go into a chocolate coma. Next time we'd may just go for the deserts they are that filling and delicious. The food looked just like their pictures. They take pride in what they do here. The manager came by our table 2 times during our meal to check on us. This is a must try.

Insane place! Sure, it’s very chocolate focused not also great food, admittedly comfort food primarily. The quesadilla was amazing, not a heavy soggy affair, light and flakey like a thin crust pizza crust. The Mac & Cheese was excellent. Desserts were crazy, try a Hug Mug or jar dessert. Great service, fast, friendly. Lots of good choices in the area and this place won’t disappoint. Go and have some fun.

Cozy breakfast joint - not just chocolate affairs, either. You can get traditional fare and fare just as well! Nice people, too. It's worth a try if you're really aiming for breakfast/brunch.

I first tasted this restaurant at Philadelphia two years ago, the experience was amazing I just felt in love with their food. Yesterday was the third time visiting this restaurant but in Boston, to celebrated my birthday, everything was so good, our entrees and the dessert. I really love their food. They kept the quality in food and services. Excellent!

The chocolat which supposed to be thé concept of this restaurant but I am trully disapointed when I saw my dessert with à tiny bowl equivalent at 2 spoons of chocolate. 👍The hazelnut waffle was super good 😔I am little bit desapointed about the waffle tacos it was not tasty and not enough chocolate. Great food/pizza and pasta 😋 so yum! Shrimp Caesar salad for two was perfectly dressed and a great appetizer. Small place, reservations are recommended. Quaint place with a nice atmosphere. Lovely and attentive servers. They do not offer dessert but plenty of pastries on the block including Mike's pastries down the street.

An excellent neighborhood gem! This quaint restaurant is off the main thoroughfare and was still busy with many customers...but not too many that we couldn't find a table. Wonderful meatballs and tomato sauce and homemade chicken tortellini soup. Freshly grated cheese brings the flavors together. Small bar area and the bartenders are wonderfully customer focused.

I went to Al Dente next door to here and asked if I could sit at the bar and the gentleman at the front (owner?) was very pleasant in directing me to “his bar” in Benevetos. So they’re related. The menus are similar except Benevotos has a great open kitchen with a wood fired pizza oven. I was a bit pasta-d out so I was hoping for the Sea Bass Al Dente but it isn’t on this menu. So I went for pizza, and they had a gluten free crust (+$5, a little steep) which was very good. The bar tender, who did a great job, said it would be thin, crunchy and good, and she was right. Overall it was a good pizza with plenty of fresh ingredients. Perhaps undercooked on top, which can happen with a Gf crust, but solid. I’ll try the sea bass next door next time.

The place is a little off the beaten path, but worth the diversion. It's definitely intimate with a delightful offering of authentic Italian pastas and pizzas made from the freshest ingredients! Don't miss the seafood specialties. My wife made her own pizza with anchiovies (which wasn't on the menu) and I had the creamiest tomatoey lasagna!

The family needed an amazing little Italy experience with gluten free options and Beneventos delivered. The gluten free gnocchi with vodka sauce Italian sausage was incredible. My bride had gluten free chicken marsala. The kids had fettuccine Bolognese and pesto chicken with rigatoni. Let's just say everyone was full and happy. Best experience in Boston so far. Amanda was awesome at navigating the menu. Highly recommend. 👌

Our family of 5 went and had a great meal. We started with the lobster ravioli appetizer and really enjoyed that! Then we had the carbonara (one with gluten free gnocchi), clams linguine, chicken parm, and chicken Alfredo. They did a great job with the gluten free meal- absolutely would get again. I could have shared- as it was too much! Everyone loved their dishes. We would certainly come back. Favorite meal of our trip. Service was very good. Our server checked on us regularly and food was brought out steaming hot! The place is small and narrow, but quaint, like most in that section of town. We had a nice cozy seat across from the brick pizza oven.

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was good—not too loud. Our group tried pastas and pizzas, and all were really good! Definitely try their pumpkin ravioli and homemade pastas They were able to accommodate dietary restrictions and a large group. (Just note they aren't able to split checks)

We recently had a nice dining experience at this restaurant near Acorn Street in Boston, where the menu caught our attention as we were walking by. The outdoor seating was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather and scenic street views, which added to the charm of the meal. We ordered the Red Sox pizza, which was flavorful, and a salad featuring beets and pistachios with a delicious dressing that tied everything together nicely. The food was definitely the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, the service was a bit lacking—our waitress wasn’t particularly helpful or attentive, which took away from the overall experience. Despite that, the quality of the food and the lovely location made it a pleasant meal, and I would recommend it for the food and ambiance alone.

This was our second time within a year we went there. We ordered a pizza and meatball sider at first, it was so good we ordered another pizza! The pizza crust unbelievably delicious! The outdoor atmosphere was also nice and our waitress was super kind and respectful. We will definitely go back !

6/2/23 Solid place for pizza- wood fired oven in the back keeps this place toasty but they pump the AC in the summer. Had a Caesar salad (was average) and roasted bell pepper pizza which was huge and delicious.

The restaurant is very good in general but the "Rode Island Calamari" was full of oil, we couldn't eat the entire appetizer. The bread and olives were really good. Our main dish was the "Slow cooked ribs with pappardelle" it was a special menu, that was amazing. I'm just giving 4 stars because of the appetizer.

Stopped here for late lunch on our Boston afternoon visiting the Constitution and Bunker Hill Monument. We were SO happy with our choice. We chose to ate outside as it seemed a bit warm in the restaurant. The chicken parm sliders were AMAZING, and the meatball sliders very good to excellent-generous portions for an appetizer which was greatly appreciated. Our party of four had a hard time deciding from the many unique pizza options-we got a small cheese for the youngest of the party and a specialty pizza they made for us with half crispy eggplant and held spicy chicken sausage. We are taking enough leftovers for another meal and will have to try the garlic rosemary French fries on our next visit. Highly recommend if in the area!!!

Local guide here. I wanted to like this place but no. I cannot recommend and will not return. My menu was a ripped paper. I asked for the fig pizza and not available. I slaked for another pasta and not available. What? The calamari was good, but the pasta was subpar. Sangria was 60% ice water and wine. Far from what one expects from a sangria. The staff kept being pushy for us to order, and later switched the background music to the one they play to babies to make then go to sleep. Can’t believe did that😅. Overall overpriced food, non courteous staff. Avoid.

Cozy atmosphere. Exposed brick. Nice outdoor seating. The guy making the pizza was wearing gloves and working non-stop. Indoor space was cramped. The rectangular pizza comes out on an upside down 24 in bread pan which takes up the space of most of the small table. Sticky table and floors. Back area was a mess. Lights out, claustrophobic bathroom, dirty windows and mirror in the dining area. Went there on a slow evening and asked for a table for two and the server looked around with hesitation even though it was more than half empty. Servers were not the most friendly at least initially. They avoided eye contact and were not attentive. They did not refill our drink. I happened to see them pour my coke from a room temperature 2 liter bottle that was open. We got the Oliver's pizza. The pizza we got had a single burnt basil leaf. The crust was burnt in some places. The crust was too chewy and was bland. The cheese was decent and sauce was good. Overall still had a decent evening and the staff probably meant well.

We go to Lincoln all the time for a beer and some food. Their bar pizzas are absolutely awesome — super crispy, perfectly topped, and always delicious. I also love that they have some unique beers on tap that you don’t find everywhere. Great spot if you’re in the mood to try something new. Their burgers are also seriously good — juicy, well-seasoned, and made with fresh ingredients. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they do. Funny story — one time we just stopped by for a quick pizza and didn’t order any drinks. The servers seemed a little surprised, but we were just craving pizza and it was as amazing as always. Overall, the vibe at Lincoln is always relaxed, the staff is friendly, and the food never disappoints. Definitely one of our go-to spots.

The hamburger, even though they only offer the classic one on the menu, is delicious. The wood-fired pizzas are really good too. Good service, great atmosphere! This time we went for dinner, but for brunch it's a great place, especially for the Thick Slice French Toast.

THE brunch spot in the heart of boston! Definitely would make a reservation on the weekend for brunch, cause it does get crowded! The fact there’s TV’s everywhere to watch the football games on Sunday! I already wanna go back ! The menu was so overwhelming with so many things that I want to try that I already know I’ll be back! The sandwich was great! I’d get it again! The only thing is I’m more of a pancake person, as my husband wanted French toast! Usually the fruity pebbles are over pancakes! It was still good but French toast is just too much bread for me! The donuts were absolutely amazing I could have ate that whole plate myself! There was like an apple pie jam ! My godddd !! Totally recommend stopping by ! I’ll be back to try more! Btw. I didn’t have the short rib poutine (not my style) ! But my husband did devour it so .. I am notamally a frequent Lincoln customer as i love the food & it’s a super convenient spot for where I live. So I am very disappointed to say that I had an alarming experience enough to write a review. I ordered the cheeseburger sliders and was served not 1, not 2, but 4 burgers that were completely raw in the center. Not just rare, RAW. Raw beef. I only realized it after biting in. I immediately called the restaurant and was refunded for the burger. That part I appreciated. But considering the seriousness of being served raw ground beef (major food safety issue) I was shocked that only the burger was refunded. My appetite was gone, my meal ruined, and honestly, I was unsettled. I messaged them on Instagram and got a very generic response saying they’d refunded just the burger. I then followed up via email to share how disappointing the experience was, but never received any reply. Accidents can happen, but the way a restaurant handles them says a lot.

12/10 restaurant!! Their brunch menu is to die for, would highly recommend everything, but their French toast and Cali burrito are delish. I have also been for dinner, great food as well but I think their brunch is the highlight of this place. Very reasonably priced as well. We split 3 apps & each got meals and a drink, after tip it was only $65 per person

Great way to start the day, absolutely loved the vibes and the service was wonderful. Our server, Gabby, was on top of everything. Price was reasonable and food was a hit, we all shared a bit of our plate with each other. Hope to return soon!

I had the short ribs with truffle mac & cheese out this world, so creamy and delicious I had to write this review, not only that I wanted something for my son that was not on the menu and they went above and beyond to make it for him! I been looking for a restaurant on west broadway st that the taste matches the price and Lincoln by far is the winner, loved so much I done told all my friends and family about it, will be definitely ordering from them again and for now one take all my money 😂

The food that we ordered was pretty bad. The spinach and tomato soup was a brothy mix of literally cut tomatoes, raw spinach and some shredded cheese. The garlic spinach was just raw spinach sprinkled with oil and crushed garlic at the bottom. We ordered the macaroni which is vegetarian by defaul. There’s options to add meat at an additional cost. Even though I never mentioned adding the meat, the server assumed that we want bacon and brought the dish out with bacon added. We had to send it back and reorder. Thankfully the cheese pizza was decent enough to feed our very hungry party of 6 otherwise the overall quality was below average. And the pricing was quite aggressIve for the quality of food. The chicken sliders were decent. Overall, I would not recommend

Ordered the carbonara, calamari, eggplant sliders, and the fig & prosciutto pizza for delivery. Despite being a delivery order, the calamaris were still crispy, and I liked the creamy sauce on the side. The baked figs on the pizza had a sugary texture and it seemed like they were doing a partial fig jam spread on the pizza. I personally don’t mind my pizza being sweet, so the combination of the sweet fig and the salty prosciutto was nice. Carbonara was authentic and better than some places in North End. Only thing that I thought was average were the eggplant sliders. The amount of cheese on the eggplants was overwhelming and the eggplants were also mediocre.

The pizza here is really good. I look forward to eating it again. The food was the star of the show.That said, here's why I did now give five stars; the chocolate "lava" cake had good flavor but was cooked incorrectly and there was no molten middle. The would not let us make a reservation for 7:00 so we did 6:30, at 7:00 and for some time after, half the tables were still avaliable. The pizza was at the pass for a while. I saw staff talking, walking by it, and doing other things while our food was sitting there. Finally, I'm not cheap; I'll spend a lot on a good meal and/or a drink, but they charge $4 for a diet coke. $4! That's just not right.

I ordered the chicken parm and it was great!! However, the cheese pizza I got arrived like it had already been eaten— or thrown across a room and had hair on the side. Tried to call to get it fixed but the phone didn’t ring the full amount before someone on the other end declined the call… :( For a bill over $100 for 4 items- I guess if you want to eat here, make sure you do it within the restaurant so you can get immediate service.

Went to Fig's for the first time last weekend. We were in the area for the first time looking at open houses in Charlestown and wanted a filling meal after a long day. We came to this restaurant as a recommendation form a few friends. Small location, but love how the pizza oven is open and you can see the pizza's being made. We ordered two pizzas (fig/prosciutto and the crispy eggplant). Both pizza's were excellent, but I would say only get the fig pizza if you love fig and balsamic. It was good, but I definitely want to try a different pizza and some of the pasta dishes next time. Overall, great experience and delicious food. We can't wait to go back.

Me and my friend walked rap the monument and on our way back home we stopped in this restaurant. Waiter was very nice, they gave us garlic bread and olives. We had gnocchi and something with eggplant and apple dessert. So cozy and nice. Food was delicious! We couldn’t be more satisfied! Love it! 😍

I was in love with the place before visiting Cambridge, due to the legendary scene in Suits. When I tried the pizza, I loved it even more! I don't know about the slices, but the square Sicilian pizza was FIRE! Bottom line: legendary and tasty. A must-try.

This used to be my favorite, somewhat hidden pizza spot, but now having tried it again a decade later, I thought it was just okay. Still tasty, but there are a lot of good pizza spots in Boston now, so I can’t say it is my favorite anymore. The cheese and pepperoni slices ($9.20) that I ordered had a nice, crunchy crust and tasted good reheated.

Heard this was the place Harvard peeps RAVE about. Now, I question their choices in life. I mean, it's pizza, specifically Sicilian style, I got the pepperoni. So it was fine, didn't hate it, but seems like a ton of 5's for a totally fine pizza. Now here are some qualifiers...I wasn't drunk, and I've had good pizza before. It's small inside with little seating. It's a grab pizza on the go kinda place.

Excellent Sicilian-style pizza - the crust has the perfect texture and is thick and crisp enough to hold up the generous toppings. The place has a lot of character and history, and service is quick.

I tried both the Sicilian and the regular pizza. I love the ambiance, and the service was quick. I thought the pizza was very good, but I do think I liked other pizza places nearby more. The prices are very reasonable and I did not leave hungry. It is a fun place to grab some food.

Tasty enough but a bit bland dry and greasy. Got the Sicilian. Tomato with honey was delicious but the spinach was not nearly as tasty. Friendly staff! Apparently this was in Suits?

Ducali was pretty empty when we went mid-afternoon on a Saturday in May. We got seated immediately which was great. Service was pretty good but almost checked on too much. We were served luke warm glasses of water, which was a bit strange. The food was pretty good. My partner's sandwich was awesome and mine was okay. Fries and caesar salad were great! We did get in and out pretty quickly, which was great so we didn't miss our train.

Really loved the marg pizza here and our bartender Sebastian was really wonderful and made some great cocktails

Omg! 5 minutes and perfect pizzas served! We lived near and had breakfast every day at that place! Hidden gem !

Really good sandwiches! The panini and fries combo was MASSIVE and super good. Honestly, it’s like the most food in a sandwich and fries combo that I maybe have ever been given. The kids also enjoyed their pizza (which the cooks were enough to customize for them with pesto instead of red sauce). Everything was really affordable - especially in 2025 with the massive inflation everywhere. Strongly recommend.

A nice gem just off the main path of little Italy. Stopped in on a whim with my family to get dinner while doing a day trip to Boston. We each got a panini and all were very impressed - super high quality and generous portions. Highly recommend

We popped into this place as we walked the Freedom Trail. I ordered a salad, which was good. My wife ordered a cheese pizza, which was OK. Edible, but not great by any means. Service was good, so thank you Cara W. It was a quick and easy pit stop, which we appreciated. It has no public bathrooms which we didn't appreciate.

The pollo parmigiana sandwich was good. Only problem was that we ordered the pollo fritto. I usually tip overly generously because I know we don't order drinks and usually share an entree just because we don't want that much food. I did not this time because the waiter was too interested in what was on his phone than to seat or serve us.

Was very happy with the pizza here! The green monster was SO good, the mozzarella and goat cheese combo with pesto and tomato was perfect. The pizza was thin, crispy, and warm. The cheese and pepperoni pizza were great and they can do it half and half. The margarita was a bit hard to eat since everything was sliding off but it tasted good overall Small shop but fairly quick service and you can just order a slice if you prefer

Stopped in here in July 2025 during 4th of July Weekend. The pizza was just perfect. Opted for the slice and sat outside to eat. The location is within walking distance of the shops on Newbury Street and if staying at any of the hotels in the area a great place for a late night slice or take-out pizza. It can feel like a tourist trap but it is Newbury Street so often busy with tourists and shoppers. The pizza was was good and definitely worth the bite. Recommended for a good pizza if pressed for time. Would stop by again when in the area. Recommended.

Cool spot with great service, but nothing special unfortunately. Crust was good but the sauce has little to no flavor and had to add garlic powder and parm to get a good taste out of it. Ceasar salad was pretty good. Good prices.

this place has been my favorite since i was a kid. i love their mac and cheese pizza. also pizza by the slice is yummy and the raspberry lime rickey is a must try. if you’re thinking about it, you must go!!

Loved our time here! Felt like we were doing something distinctly Bostonian AND special! Staff behind the counter were so friendly and engaging and you could tell they were proud of their pizzas! It made the experience even more enjoyable!

I was blown away by their pizza! I got a small pizza with half Fenway Frank and half Mac and Cheesy - both so, so good especially coming from a person who normally gets basic pizzas like pepperoni or sausage! Their crust is also exceptional!! A small space and they don’t do by the slice for their specialty pizzas, but overall highly recommend for some bomb pizza. Also obsessed with the cashier who took my order, super nice and friendly with sick style ^_^ (pictured!) let’s be mutuals on IG @haizenh !!!!

I'm baffled by the rave reviews for this place. The pizzas we received were some of the worst I've had in a long time. As someone from Europe, I didn't expect them to rival Italian pizzas, but the dough was dry and the base was excessively oily, with no flavor at all. We ordered four different pizzas, and sadly, most ended up in the trash. They looked good but tasted awful. I won't be ordering from here again.

we ordered large meat lovers, large diablo and followed to large chicken & broccoli each one number for lunch. it cost of 69USD. Packed hot and handovered me. all the items are good to eat.

The server/bar man is excellent giving attention, friendly and very efficient. The dishes we had are enjoyable, not salty, but the fries are made with old oil vs cost. We should try something else next time. Quite popular with both eat in guests and takeout. Very relaxed and popular. We would visit again.

Holy ****. This might be my favorite place to drink in the city of Boston. I cannot emphasize more, the staff is fantastic and friendly, the drinks are well made and well poured. The atmosphere is literally perfect. If you want a beer, food, or a cocktail, come here. I felt like a penguin in a fellowship of penguins crossing the harsh terrain of Antarctica with my boys.

Was visiting my sister in nearby Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center hospital but cafeteria there closed by the time I was hungry saw on my phone Penguin Pizza was only like 0.5 mile short straight walk decided to call ahead & take the walk to this nearby pizza place glade I did it was worth it great thin crust pizza worth the walk!

I normally don’t write reviews, but this experience was so unprofessional that I feel obligated to share. I ordered a chicken parmesan sub and what came out was completely inedible – the chicken was burnt black, not just overcooked but charred to a crisp. I politely flagged the waitress, who sent it back to the kitchen. By the time the corrected dish came out, I had already been waiting about 40 minutes since placing my order. The food itself was disappointing, but what truly shocked me was the service afterward. When the check came, I left a zero tip (understandably, given the circumstances). As I left, both the waitress and another server actually chased me outside to confront me about it. They asked why I tipped zero, and when I explained, they had the audacity to ask for my name. As I turned to walk away, one of them shouted at me to “never come back.” I’ve dined at plenty of restaurants in Boston and I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully. Mistakes happen in kitchens, but the lack of accountability, the aggressive behavior, and the sheer unprofessionalism of the staff made this one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I will absolutely take their advice and never return — and I’d strongly caution others to think twice before spending money here.

First time here, it's a nice neighborhood bar atmosphere. Wheel of Fortune was playing on TV. The waitstaff was very attentive. Got buffalo wings and a large half/half buffalo chicken pizza / mushroom with mash potatoes pizza. The food was okay, I wasn't impressed. However, others thought it was standard. It works and does the job.

I went in late night to get a slice and got the last of what they had. It was fine, not great. The beer selection is wide. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere is of a dive pizza bar.

I would come here often if I lived in the area. My friends and I came here prior to going to a concert across the street at TD Garden. The music being played in the restaurant was adjacent to the artists we were about to see, which we all enjoyed. I got their gluten free loaded baked potato pizza and it was amazing. I have never encountered a gluten free crust that even compares to the crust they serve here. Probably the best gluten free pizza I've ever had. I shared with my non-gluten-free friends who also agreed that the pizza was very good. The truffle fries were great as well. This was a perfect spot to hit right before going to the garden and the prices were not as bad as I'd expect for being right on the water in the north end. We were served by Laura who was quick and friendly.

I hosted a work event here on a Thursday night and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our group of 50–60 had half the patio and some inside booths reserved which was the perfect setup to give everyone a place to sit and chat while still being able to enjoy the nice evening air on the patio. The food (pizza, sliders, pretzel bites, etc.) was fresh and delicious and our dedicated servers were attentive and friendly. Huge thanks to Brittany, Brad, and Josh on the event team for making the planning and coordination so easy - communication was seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend this Night Shift for dinner with friends or hosting an event!

We hosted a work event here before going to the Celtics game. Brittany and her team were fantastic! The staff was friendly and the service was great. Food was pretty good! The bread on the sliders were a little stale but the pizza, wings and fries were delicious! I would definitely organize another get together here (and plan to!).

Good beers, good service, great pizza albeit they are basically personal size pies starting at $17.00. I would say they are approximately 12×8. Also the water they serve is basically room temp tap water with no ice. Weird

I worked with Night Shift Brewing – Lovejoy Wharf to host a young alum social for the school I work for, and it was the perfect location! The event staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish. With so much happening this fall, it was a huge relief to have the Night Shift team take the lead in creating a wonderful ambiance—offering a hybrid indoor/outdoor space, a delicious menu, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our alums to reconnect. Huge shoutout to Brittany and Brad for making sure everything ran so smoothly!

Beer was amazing and service was amazing! We went about 35 min before they were closing at 3pm for a private event and they made sure we still got a drink and felt welcomed the entire time. Bartender spent time talking with my group and really connecting. Looking forward to coming back and trying to food soon!

Delicious upscale restaurant in the Boston area. The prices are on the higher side so be prepared for that. The cocktails are unique in flavors, especially with cardamom! The apps are sharable but not very large. The entrees were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The pizza was great, neo-style and great as a personal or shared. The sourdough dessert was also very different and delicious, and not too sweet. Recommend coming here for the flavors, just be prepared to spend $$!

Two important warnings before you go: First: Go only for the pizza. The salad is fine, but avoid the pasta and seafood. They are nothing special. The pizza, however, is worth it—and you can customize it with any toppings. We are big fans of anchovy and onion. Second: Watch out!!! They tend to burn the pizza. That is their style, expect a quarter of it to be charred black. If you prefer it less cooked, make sure to tell them clearly that you want it lightly done. Or you will be disappointed. As for the rest, skip it. The pasta was mediocre, and the desserts were forgettable.

very cute restaurant with a roaring wood pizza oven in the heart of it. Service is very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Most importantly the food is delicious. What we had Mushroom toast This is a staple on the menu, and for food reason. A very savory dish on delicious toasted homemade sourdough. 5/5 Steak tartare Fresh and tasty with brioche bread 4/5 Swordfish Perfect cooked. Nice smoky flavor as it cooked in a wildfire oven . 4/5 Dry aged duck Very tasty and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend 4.5/5 Sticky toffee pudding On the small side, but very tasty. Came with orange ice cream which was a very nice combo 4/5 Chocolate bread pudding I love bread pudding and this was tasty. 4/5 Next time I come I'll try the pizzas, which look delicious. Highly recommend!

Great dinner on a Tuesday! Walked in at 6 without a reservation, the place was filling up fast. We were seated at the bar and were served right away. Our server got out drinks and salad in no time. We had the mushroom pizza and squid ink campanelle. We were amazed at the speed of the service. The meals were fabulous! Great experience!

Incredible food, great service and a charming atmosphere make Prairie Fire a must try. The pizza, appetizers, main dishes and desserts that we had were all cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed our experience at the restaurant. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious food. Excellent service. You won’t be disappointed. The flavors from the wood grill come through everything.

Please go here and please ask for Samantha. We have never had a more lovely server. She was so kind, attentive, and happy to be there. Her recommendations were all spot on. I don’t think I’ve ever been more impressed with the service at a restaurant. Get the mushroom toast, fingerling potatoes and the beef tartare and whatever the chocolate cake is for dessert. Every bite was perfection. But Samantha took it over the top. She was the best part of our evening. I don’t live in Boston but you better believe next time I’m in town I will be visiting this amazing restaurant!
