Cafe
Located in Hoi An, The Espresso Station is a popular coffee spot offering a wide range of classic and innovative coffees. Nestled in an alley outside the old town, this cozy cafe is known for its quality brews, including double-shot coffee and unique creations like Egg Coffee, Coconut Coffee, Pink Latte, Black Latte, and Coffee Ice Cubes. Despite its unassuming space, visitors rave about the inventive and delicious cups of coffee served here.
If you're in Hoi An and love coffee, this spot is a must-visit! The ambiance is absolutely beautiful—think Central American vibes with lush greenery, creating a peaceful retreat from the city's buzz. The music sets the perfect mood, inviting you to unwind and truly relax. And the coffee? Simply outstanding! Perfectly brewed, rich in flavor, and crafted with real expertise. Whether you're looking for a cozy place to work or just want to enjoy a great cup of coffee, this place won't disappoint. Highly recommend😍

This is probably the best Hội An’s coffee shops I’ve ever been to. It looks like one of the many rural houses in the area, but it’s beautifully decorated, and symbolizes the contrast between the old-fashioned (architecture and old machineries) and modern, with new equipment and open to globalization. The shop is ran by a Vietnamese woman and a lovely auntie. The drinks are great, and pastries are freshly baked (hence they require some waiting time). Definitely recommended, give it a visit!
Fabrizio P — Google review
The best spot to escape from the old town with a nice drink. I love the iced chocolate (very rich) and the butterfly pea drink (changes color!!) Both super refreshing. Even though it’s super close to the old town, it’s still a quiet and comfortable spot to chill out. Definitely recommend.
Lien S — Google review
This place is such a gem! They do amazingly high quality coffee with so many different creations from traditional Vietnamese coffees, to flat whites, to matcha. It’s hidden down a stunning alley way. I love coming here.
Emily M — Google review
Well I’ll say. This was exactly what I needed today. I’m going to be really honest, I’ve had some personal issues today and my iced chocolate cured them all. It was absolutely delightful stuff. Perfectly foamy and bubbly and even included a free pasta straw as a little snack which my chum was a big fan of, so we both walked away completely satisfied. One thing I would like to point out though is that I hope you’re misting your plants with bottled water only because quite honestly I was covered in it so I bet my iced chocolate was at least 20% plant mist. I would really recommend a watering can instead to avoid this issue. Other than this, lovely atmosphere, great staff - truly a hidden gem!!!
Caitlin C — Google review
One of my fave specialty coffee spots in Hoi An. Hidden down a quiet alley, lovely covered garden terrace, very friendly staff. Oh and their music playlist is on point - great vibes. Cash only fyi (Nov 2025)

We really enjoyed our visit. The coconut coffee was delicious! Some of the nicest coffee I have ever had and the coconut ice was such a nice touch in the heat. The cafe itself is very pretty and the toilets were clean and well stocked.
Catherine H — Google review
Oi Oi, so came here to waste my day and had an iced chocolate I would say it was rather sweet for my liking but maybe I just have a sour heart? Anyway beautiful presentation of my drink and THE BEST PART YOU HAVE ALL BE WATING FOR THEY HAVE EDIBLE STRAWS SO SO SO SICK MADE OUT OF DRYED PASTA, my straw was white which is vinella but they do blue pink and green ones so watch out you might get a blueberry one??? Wow what a place. Now onto the less positives they have water spray spraying the plants all day which I just think isn’t great for the environment like let’s save water shall we??? Fine night resource. Lovely waitress who bought the drinks no hassle great place would come back if I was David Beckham or something cus it is rather spenny I must say. Just had to now right up and put my mortgage on hold as I can’t keep paying it off now after this drink. Anyway that will be all. Love you my queens and my madams Sindie

Rosie's cafe is a charming and cozy spot located in the Ancient Town of Hoi An. Tucked away in a quiet alley, it offers airy interiors adorned with plants and intricate details. The friendly staff serves mouthwatering dishes at reasonable prices, making it a favorite breakfast and brunch spot for locals and tourists alike. In addition to its delicious menu, Rosie's also features an onsite store selling sustainable, fair trade products.
The food is so up there (super delish), the price so down (low) there. It’s amazing. 14pax of us (fam) Went back 3 times in 5 days for brekky. The menu has so many awesome dishes and restaurant-level quality, mind-blown. I say again, the food is so good - for both adults and children. There’s so many options, spoilt for choice for food, coffee, smoothies, desserts,….. Particularly found the plating high class and extremely well thought through. Type of bread (sourdough btw) below the well-sliced fresh fruits, ice-cream and maple syrup and the bread remained crisp (how on earth? But soooo glad) did not go soggy at all. HOW AM I GOING TO LIVE WITHOUT ROSIE’s FOOD AFTER THIS??? Noooooooooooo ……..Mommy it’s oveeeerrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

This place deserves the hype! The service was amazing, all staff were very friendly, the dishes were surprisingly enough portion. We were thinking the portion would be small, turned out it was perfect ones. Drinks were good, coffee was good as well. The spot itself is perfect to have a chill chat and a lot of greenies around it making it feels cozy and good

Hello!!! While waiting for our Airbnb check in nearby we found this hidden gem- Rosie's cafe!! It was our first meal in Hoi An and me and my friends absolutely loved it!! The menu is curated so well with food for everyone and the drinks are so so tasty and so refreshing! We liked it so much that we visited it again before leaving hoi An!! Must visit!!

Nice indoor-outdoor garden atmosphere. Great breakfast/brunch options. We went for chicken tacos and avocado toast. They didn’t have any wraps for the tacos so replaced it with sourdough which we were more than happy with. Seemed to have constant flow of custom but still quick with service. Recommend coming here!

Very cool place with good food. Not your typical Vietnamese- typed food. It’s a fusion of all types. Our food was really good. My vegan pancakes and taco was delicious. We would have stayed longer except when our computer alerted us that there was a high possibility of a hacker near by.
Hanh N — Google review
The perfect breakfast place in Hoi an! I’ve been here a couple times with friends and we ended up trying almost everything on the menu. Great selection of drinks and delicious coffee! Highly recommended!
Sumit H — Google review
Food was delicious for sure. So were the coffees. There were so many choices of healthy food and drinks too. The cafe itself was cute and very well decorated. The only minus was that there were some kids that were children of someone who worked there screaming and teasing the dogs, which was kinda annoying. Overall I would recommend this place.
Huyentrang N — Google review
Really good options for vegans! I had the beetroot hummus on toast with tofu scramble which was delicious. Unfortunately my husbands omelette was overcooked and now very good at all. Expensive for the area also.

Coffee shop
Mia Coffee, located in Hoi An's ancient quarter, has been a favorite among expats and Vietnamese tourists since its opening in 2013. This Australian-style cafe offers a variety of global coffee beans roasted in different locations, ensuring a unique and diverse coffee experience. With free WiFi and a cozy atmosphere surrounded by local shops, Mia Coffee is the perfect place to enjoy a long black coffee or an Americano after exploring traditional Vietnamese coffee options.
Best western coffee I've had in Vietnam. They really know how to make a great cappuccino and flat white. I now need to try their egg and salt coffee. Lovely old building too with friendly staff. I highly recommend.
Michelle P — Google review
This is one of those places that deserves its high rating!!!!!! Such a delightfully perfect start to our morning! Mia Coffee is a gem!!!! With so many coffee shops in Hoi An, it can get overwhelming but to smell their beans roasting at 5:30 and have the very friendly owner (?) chatting with me before they opened was an easy choice today! This was the most flavorful coffee I have had in the three weeks we’ve been in Vietnam ( and that’s saying something with all the great coffee here) As I enjoyed his hot Vietnamese machine coffee, I could smell the banana bread baking. As it cooled on the table, there’s no way one could pass up a slice. Two slices later and we now can’t wait to try their other home baked goodies! You can feel the pride in the owners? staff…And that’s really special yet uncommon !!!! Thank you for a great morning and we will see you again very soon!!!
Amanda T — Google review
On a recent trip to Hoi An (my third in the last six years), I developed the habit of stopping at Mia coffee every morning on my way into town. They're open early, have a lovely veranda, and do a great flat white. The staff were friendly and welcoming as well. It's right on the edge of the Old Town, but it's far enough removed from the center that it's pretty quiet and has a relaxed atmosphere. A great place to sit for a while with a book. There are so many coffee places to choose from in Hoi An, but for me, this is the one.

Good matcha latte in town. Friendly waiter Trung and professional barista Loan have done their great jobs!
Team C — Google review
I enjoyed working there on my laptop for a while. The coffee was good and the banana cake too. The prices are reasonable. My only issue was that there was no AC, so it felt pretty hot during day time in August. It will be great to visit when the weather is a bit cooler.
Travel G — Google review
The location and atmosphere are the best thing about Mia Coffee. The staff seemed disinterested and bored with the job. Perhaps they've been doing it too long and need reinvigorating. Service with a smile goes a long way.
Ed S — Google review
The best coffee in 2.5 weeks travelling through Vietnam & Cambodia. Sometimes you just want a delicious barista made coffee like you get in Australia and for the first time on the menu, they had my fave Piccolos! We ended up re-ordering as the coffee was truly delicious. The paninis were yummy too. A lovely cafe off the beaten track without too many tourists and you are served with good timing. Highly recommend if you are craving good barista made coffee. Friendly staff and clean toilets.

Tucked away on the stunning An Bang beach, Sound of Silence Coffee Shop in Hoi An is a true coastal gem that invites you to unwind while soaking in breathtaking ocean views. Just a short drive from the historic charm of Hoi An ancient town, this laid-back café is set within a lovely garden and offers ample outdoor seating where you can sip your coffee as the waves gently lap at the shore.
We are in love with this place. Their indoor seatings already catch eyes but when walking up a little, we see the outdoor seatings facing the waves, we have no doubt that it’s the best place to sit and enjoy. Need to order at counter located at entrance. Then, they bring it to your table. Their hot green tea is the best ever drink in a coffee shop, they even accept to refill. They do a few simple dishes, such as fresh fruits with oats and yogurt at reasonable price. They also have a large menu for dine-in. The price of these cooked food is with mark-up, as they probably have it cooked by a nearby restaurant.
MyBean&Kho. — Google review
The stunning ocean view creates a relaxing and picturesque atmosphere, perfect for unwinding or catching up with friends. The sound of waves and gentle sea breeze make the experience even more delightful. The drink is nice, I am not overly focused on drinks coz I am not a coffee enthusiast. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring great service. Whether you're looking a refreshing afternoon break, or a peachful sunrise spot, this café is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
Phùng N — Google review
Very beautiful coffee shop with cozy Indoor seating as well as seats directly facing the beach. We had the coconut coffee, which at 85k is quite pricy, however it was probably the best coconut coffee we've ever had! The coconut cream they pour onto the robusta Espresso shot is freshly made and they even serve you a glass of coconut water as accompaniment :) The highlight of the coffee shop for me was the view from top overlooking the beach! Definitely give it a go, when you want to treat yourself to a fancy coffee 😊
Nirvana D — Google review
They have a nice coffee spot, though the seats on the beachside wasn’t as pleasant as I had expected (I visited in June so they might have made changes by then). Thankfully, the indoor space is very comfortable and cozy. I especially loved their egg coffee - rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. A good place to relax and enjoy a quality cup of coffee.
Bea B — Google review
Great coffee shop with a lot of sitting places and even working places too!! There's an inside area perfect for digital nomads, there's the terrace as well which overlooks the sea and even there you can find plugs all over! The prices are a tiny bit higher than other cafés but is completely worth the experience, the coffee and the service! I definitely loved this place! They even offered coffee from my home country!
Natalia F — Google review
Great salted coffee - solid mango smoothly. The café allows you to go out to their beach location, so after you order go easy up and out to get a seat over the water.
Joseph R — Google review
Loved the ambience and the location, it’s in the Hidden beach, that makes it a best place to relax after the beach visit. The coffee was good, enjoyed the experience.
Anandhi S — Google review
This café presents beautifully at first glance — stylish, well-designed, and clearly the result of thoughtful planning. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and service failed to match the setting. The club sandwich, while attractively presented and priced at a premium by local standards, was let down by low-quality ingredients, lack of seasoning, and the use of basic white supermarket bread. When offering Western-style dishes at higher prices, customers reasonably expect a level of care and authenticity in preparation that simply wasn’t there. Service was a major disappointment. The waiting staff appeared distracted and disengaged throughout my visit. Basic details — such as providing napkins, a knife to cut the sandwich, or condiments — were overlooked until specifically requested. The staff, including the floor manager seemed more interested in returning to their phone than in attending to guests. It’s a pity, as the café’s concept and design show real promise. With better supervision, improved training, and a focus on quality ingredients and a strong management team it could easily live up to its potential. As it stands, however, the experience fell way way short of what the setting suggests.

Olivier Coffee is a charming spot run by a friendly host who roasts his own beans and offers local advice. The cafe also provides training for local teens. The menu features an array of delightful drinks, including iced coconut coffee, espresso, traditional egg coffee, and jasmine and ginger teas. The ambiance is a blend of rustic and contemporary elements with a relaxed balcony area. Visitors rave about the creatively crafted drink options such as frozen Mung bean coffee and salted coffee.
This coffee shop is one that you must check out while been in Hoi an if your a coffee lover. We were luckily staying around the corner from here so we got coffee from here a few times. The owner & staff are so friendly, very welcoming. He gave us a demo on how to have the drip off which was very interesting. We also had there the salt coffee which was amazing! My mum isn’t a big fan of coffee so she tried their iced lychee & watermelon juice which she loved. We all purchased the pack to take home back to Melbourne. Highly recommended

We had an amazing experience yesterday at the Olivier Coffee. The owner was so kind, so human. Truly glad to have met him. We tried the signature coffee and an egg coffee. All the drinks were tasty ! A must try for sure !

Really surprised with some of the negative comments! I’ve been twice now and always have great service and lovely drinks. It’s a perfect space to relax and work or catch up with friends. Today’s tea with kumquat juice and salted apricots was delicious - thank you so much for opening up your beautiful space. We will be back!

Came today after my wife had this place on our to-do list for several years. Reviews seem mostly good so expectations were high. We ordered a coconut blended coffee and ice blended matcha cookie drink. Service was ok drinks were not bad but a lot of ice and flavor wasn’t as good as many others we’ve visited in our travels through Vietnam. I found the lady staff member a little rude even when there were no other guests present. After visiting the bathroom she kept telling me to blow the door, which made no sense to me. I explained I didn’t understand but she didn’t seem terribly happy. Not somewhere I’d rush to come back to.

Most fun class in Hoi an. The coffee is amazing (especially the coconut one) Oliver is a really professional and sweet. Sure you going to fall in love!

A must-visit for coffee lovers We visited this café after reading glowing reviews about their coffee, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The space is beautifully designed, cosy and comfortable, and a perfect spot to escape the rain, with fans keeping it pleasantly cool. The owner was so friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to walk us through her unique coffee blend and helped us choose drinks that suited our tastes. Her warmth and care really added to the experience. The drip coffee was the best we’ve had in Vietnam. They roast their own blend, which delivers a strong caffeine hit without any bitterness. It was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and finished with just the right amount of condensed milk to bring out the deep, rich flavour. Absolutely phenomenal. The kids loved their iced chocolate, and the egg coffee was also delicious. I’m already looking forward to trying the salted coffee when we return tomorrow. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys quality coffee and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Phin Coffee Restaurant is a hidden gem located in a tranquil courtyard near Secret Garden, nestled away in an alley off Tran Phu. It's renowned for its top-notch coffee sourced from small growers and expertly roasted on-site. The cafe also offers outdoor seating and is known for its egg coffee and homemade toast. Additionally, they have opened a second location along the river, providing a spacious garden area and plant-based milk options for vegan patrons.
The coffee is excellent and the coffee making class is worth it. I'd recommend the summer refresher cold brew if you want to try out one of their drinks; it's very light and juicy and definitely one of my favorites. The vibes on the second floor are also immaculate and great for IG pics. The instructor for the coffee making class, Hi, is also very kind and informative. Make sure you eat before you go to the class so you can finish all the coffee you make!
Shara T — Google review
The ambiance is relaxing, the staff super kind ,and the coffee is delicious! Took the coffee class and it was totally worth it. The instructor was Hi (pronounced as “hee”) she was knowledgeable and made the small group coffee class so much fun! Highly recommend educating yourself on the Vietnamese Coffee Bean options and learning to make 3 of their famous drinks. I ended up buying 8 bags of Robusta coffee beans as presents. Definitely a fan!
Annie D — Google review
Whether you're a professional barista or simply a coffee enthusiast, Phin coffee shouldn’t disappoint. They have two class (options) to choose from. The first is all about egg coffee taught by a barista, demonstrating how to make their signature coconut egg coffee. While the barista doesn't speak much English, they say just watching is enough to understand the process. This class costs 300,000 dong (about $12 USD). I opted for the master coffee class, led by the roaster himself. His English was excellent, and he not only shared the history of coffee but also demonstrated how to make several types of java (including the famous coconut egg coffee). He explained the differences between robusta and arabica beans and allowed us to taste both. One of the highlights was learning how to make coffee using the traditional Vietnamese method with a phin filter. It was a hands-on experience that I won't soon forget. Overall, the master coffee class was a fantastic experience, well worth the 550,000 dong (about $22 USD). While the class typically requires a minimum of two people, the owner kindly made an exception for me. If you're looking to deepen your coffee knowledge or simply want a unique and memorable experience, I highly recommend Phin Coffee

Love this place! Firstly staff is SO friendly, amazing garden like setting & the food is so good! The Vietnamese dishes were the best I’ve had. Wish I had time to eat their smoothie bowls and avo toast. Also they’re very knowledgeable about coffee! Make sure to try it out & even take coffee making classes here with Hi, so knowledgeable!

What a gem! We joined the coffee-making class at Phin Coffee and had such a great time. Hi was an amazing teacher - friendly, funny, and so passionate about Vietnamese coffee. We learnt to make traditional filter coffee, salted coffee, and the famous egg coffee (which was even better than we imagined!). We ended up coming back later for lunch because it is such a peaceful spot. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the staff were lovely. Definitely one of our favourite experiences in Hoi An!

We’ve been here every day during our 3 day stay in Hoi an as it was so good! The staff is always so friendly and the food delicious. Plus they have oat milk which we appreciated for a change ;) Would definitely recommend next to avocado toast, granola bowl and coffee and apple cake, the salt coffee which is a unique experience!

Loved this quiet leafy cafe as soon as we walked in! The staff were friendly and kept us hydrated with cold water the whole time. We ordered an egg coffee, coconut coffee, and salt coffee, and they were some of the best we’ve had in Vietnam so far!

We have been to different branches of them and really like it all. This one has a lovely view. I had a little problem with my milkshake but the staff was so quick to help me with it. Very cheerful and professional. We’ll be back

Hoi An Coffee Roastery is genuinely one of my favorite places in town—a spot I keep coming back to whenever I’m in Hoi An. From the moment I walk through the door, I always feel instantly at ease. The mix of soft lighting, rustic décor, and the gentle hum of conversation create such a welcoming atmosphere that I could happily spend hours here. My favorite place to sit is by the big window, watching the vibrant life of the ancient town drift by, or sometimes upstairs where the view of the river adds this peaceful, almost cinematic quality to my coffee break. The coffee is honestly some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Their beans come from Vietnam’s highlands and you can really taste the care that goes into every cup. I love the classic Vietnamese drip coffee for its depth and smoothness, but I always treat myself to the coconut coffee—it’s unforgettable. If you’re in the mood for something different, the egg coffee is a unique, creamy experience, and their cakes (especially the banana bread!) are just perfect for pairing with your drink. But what turns a great café into a favorite is the people. The staff here are not only friendly and attentive, but they also take the time to explain different coffee styles or share local recommendations if you ask. It never feels rushed—you truly feel like a guest rather than just a customer. I also really appreciate their commitment to ethical sourcing and supporting local farmers. It makes every cup feel even more special, knowing it’s part of a bigger story. Whether I’m reading, people-watching, or catching up with friends, Hoi An Coffee Roastery never disappoints. It’s the kind of place I recommend to everyone I meet in Hoi An, and for me, it’s become a must-visit every time I’m in town.

Unique decor in an already unique part of Hoi An, the Old Town, which was founded in the 15th century. I ordered the mocha ( half cacao half coffee) and it was a little sweet for my tastes. The interior reflects the centuries past when the town was the bustling trading port with sailing nations who came first the spice. Today we also come for the coffee. Surprisingly they do not carry weasel coffee / kopi luwak - I did not see a roasting machine on site.

Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting — perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. The baristas are friendly, knowledgeable, and always make my drink just right. I tried the ice blended coffee and it was perfectly balanced — not too sweet, with a rich, smooth espresso flavor. Their pastries are also fresh and delicious!

Flipping excellent coffee! Hands down the best coffee, and coconut ice cream coffee we've had so far. It's set up for westerners for sure. But that's not a bad thing. Busy tourist area, but if you get in at 7am you get the place to yourself! Win!!

Phin Coffee has captured the hearts of many, including myself, after a local blog hailed it as one of the finest coffee spots in Hoi An. While I may not have the expertise to confirm that claim, I can certainly attest to the exceptional quality of their brews. It quickly became one of my top choices in this charming city. My love for their coffee led me to explore two different branches during my visit—though sadly, one has since closed its doors.
Food was awesome, they make their own bread! My partner had his first egg coffee here, loved it. Lovely place for breakfast / brunch.

🫶 What a beautiful morning spot. Perfectly balanced breakfast — eggs, avocado, greens — all fresh, clean, and served with care. The staff are incredibly attentive and respectful of personal dietary needs, which is rare and deeply appreciated. And the peanut butter coffee… oh my. This is a true brain fuel for thinkers — rich, nutty, and full of calm energy. A must-try for anyone who loves good taste and focus in the morning🤸 The space itself is quiet, full of light and green life — perfect to start the day or work a little in peace. They also rent high-quality bikes — clean, well-maintained, stylish TREK models — a great choice for exploring Hoi An. Grateful for the warmth and attention. Beautiful food, beautiful energy🫶

Tucked away at 18-8 Hội An, Phin Coffee is a cozy gem that delivers both quality coffee and a charming local vibe. I ordered an Americano, and it absolutely hit the mark — bold, smooth, and well-balanced, without any bitterness. The shop itself has a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for a quiet coffee break or a casual chat. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the warm, welcoming feel. While I enjoyed my Americano, I highly recommend trying their Coconut Coffee Latte — it’s a standout drink that blends the rich taste of coffee with the creamy sweetness of coconut, perfect for a hot Hội An day. Their cold brew is also worth mentioning — refreshing and strong, great for those who prefer a chilled caffeine kick. Overall, Phin Coffee is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Hội An. Great drinks, relaxing vibe, and a few unique items on the menu that you won’t find just anywhere.

Faifo Coffee is a popular spot in Hoi An's Ancient Town, known for its rooftop terrace offering stunning views of the Old Quarter. While the coffee may not be exceptional, the picturesque setting makes it a must-visit. For a caffeine fix, visitors are advised to opt for cold beverages and explore other nearby cafes like Buttercup by Rosies. The area is filled with charming local shops and vibrant yellow walls that make for great photo opportunities.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lovely coffee shop with plenty of seats — it has three floors! The rooftop is the highlight, perfect for watching the sunset and the night view over Hội An’s old town. Definitely worth visiting when you’re in town. 🌅☕✨

While the drink prices are relatively high, the atmosphere and views more than make up for it. The café offers a charming space with plenty of photogenic corners, especially the rooftop, which provides a stunning panoramic view of the Old Town. It gets quite crowded during sunset hours, and you might need to queue for several minutes just to get a good spot for photos. Despite the crowds, the experience is worth it—this place is a true gem for both coffee lovers and photography enthusiasts.

We barely waited for 5 mins and had a table quickly. Ordered downstairs and the coffee was served within minutes. Luckily we got a table available on the first level, although it was very humid and sunny that afternoon. The cafe is located to find easily and breezy interiors with table fans and coolers within the premises. Roof top overlooks the quaint town, but limited shade. Coffeee was excellent although less but every sip was indulging. Highly recommend for tourists.

this cf has been trending on tiktok and gets a steady flow of customers. the staff are incredibly nice and friendly. although it’s busy, there’s no air conditioning, so the space can feel quite hot. there’s only one shared restroom for both men and women on the second floor. since the flooring is wooden, noises from upstairs can be heard clearly. it’s best to visit in the late afternoon to avoid the heat.

An incredible gem. One of the best brunch/cafe places I’ve been in my whole life. I’ve ordered a few dishes here and they’ve all been amazing. If this place was in the USA, everything would cost 4x as much and I could never afford to eat here. Note: the ice coconut coffee is like a Frappuccino, with a ton of blended ice, so avoid if you have sensitive teeth or don’t want that.

Probably one of the best places I’ve eaten in Vietnam (in terms of western food) and I’ve lived in VN for a year and a half. Food quality, freshness, and flavor were amazing. The service was genuinely kind and quick, the atmosphere is perfect for hanging out, working, or just relaxing from the busy streets. They had vegan condensed milk & milk options for coffee (the coffee was amazing) and ensured everything I had was fully vegan. Definitely will be returning as many times as I can while in Hội An. We got the Hola Hola bowl, Vish Tacos, sweet potato fries, and Vietnamese coffee. Would recommend all!

Beautiful atmosphere and lovely service. The granola bowl was good enough and the fruit was fresh and yummy. Granola was a bit sub-standard, could have had some coconut flakes, almonds etc to bulk it up as it was mostly oats and cashews. If I came again I would try a smoothie bowl as these also looked delicious in the pictures I saw. Salted coffee was delicious. Most of the coffee was at the top so remember to mix it up so it’s not too milky when you get to the bottom.

Really enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients here. The nourish bowl was full of ingredients, the falafel was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The pita bread was still warm and quite crispy too. We had the chocola sensations for dessert and it was delightful. it's sweet and creamy although personal preference for the chocolate can be more bitter due to the sweet banana. Such a cozy nice coffee place. It's a hidden gem in Hoi An. The coffee place is a tranquil at the end of a calm alley in the middle of the always busy and loudly Hoi An ancient city. The owner is a great guy with very good English that will happily explain about the coffee making process and help you to decide incase you are new to Vietnamese coffee. Lovely place with a languid peaceful atmosphere. We had the egg coffee and the hot coconut coffee. Both excellent. The egg coffee is a work of art unique to this cafe. It's carefully made with flambéed frothy sweetened egg topped with little pieces of crystallised orange jam. The robust coffee cuts through with just the right strength to complement the sweetness. The coconut coffee is made with frothed slightly sweetened coconut milk to give a delicious mild breakfast coffee. Cool garden and interior tucked away from the busy streets. Mellow music and free jasmine tea. Friendly welcome.

This place offers the worst coffee that I’ve tasted in Vietnam (I live here for 4 month and drink coffee daily) I couldn’t even comprehend why coffee was so bad. We ordered 3 different types of coffee and couldn’t finish any. This place is not representative of real Vietnamese coffee. Pastry was good though. Staff were extremely nice and friendly.

I recently tried coconut coffee, and it turned out to be one of the most unique and refreshing coffee experiences I’ve had. The first sip instantly stood out – the rich, bold aroma of freshly brewed coffee beautifully blended with the light, natural sweetness of coconut. Unlike regular flavored coffees that often taste artificial, this one felt smooth and authentic. The coconut added a creamy texture without being heavy, making the drink both comforting and energizing. There’s a subtle nuttiness in the aftertaste that lingers pleasantly, leaving you wanting another sip. What I loved most is how it balances flavors – the coffee isn’t overpowered, and the coconut doesn’t feel too sweet. It’s the perfect drink for someone who enjoys experimenting beyond traditional lattes and cappuccinos. To me, it’s like a tropical twist in a cup – uplifting, indulgent, and memorable. If you’re a coffee lover looking for something refreshing yet different, coconut coffee is absolutely worth trying. 🌴✨

Its minimalist décor and natural light to its transparent bean sourcing, everything here feels intentional. They offer a well-curated specialty menu: espresso, filter, milk-based drinks, with info cards showing farm origin, variety, and tasting notes. The pastries (croissants, brownies, gelato) pair beautifully with the clean, layered flavors of the coffee. Staff are friendly, knowledgable, willing to guide you toward what matches your taste. It’s more expensive than your average local café, but for those who enjoy savoring coffee and atmospheres, it’s worth the visit.

We had a lovely time here with Dat who made us some fantastic filter coffee. He brewed it in front of us and we had a nice chat about all things coffee. If you love coffee, it’s a must visit.

Mê Hội An Rooftop Coffee & Kitchen is a must-visit spot in the heart of Hoi An, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of the old town from its rooftop terrace. This charming cafe and bar, located near the iconic Japanese Bridge, serves up Vietnamese specialty coffee, local delicacies, and refreshing cocktails. The beautifully decorated space exudes an enchanting atmosphere that's perfect for indulging in a mid-morning coffee or enjoying a sunset drink during happy hour.
Nice views from the rooftop. We went on a hot afternoon and were the only ones on the roof. Theres a nice breeze. Drinks are good, nothing special. First floor is has a handmade ceramics/handicraft store

Such delicious and strong coffee! It was my first visit to Hoi An. This cafe came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. I ordered the egg coffee. I wasn’t sure how sweet it would be with the condensed milk. They offered to serve the milk separately which was so much appreciated. I sat upstairs at the rooftop which was breezy and cool. The barrister also gave me a free egg sauce which was so delicious. I will definitely come back again next time I’m in Hoi An.
Amarachi U — Google review
Came for the rooftop and sunset specifically in mind and enjoyed a refreshing coconut coffee and a creamy egg coffee while enjoying the view. It is not shaded there and unless you arrive later in the afternoon I can imagine it’s too hot for pleasure directly in the sun. Service was a bit slow. While I was pointed up stairs for a seat, it took another 10-15min until a waiter eventually came over with a menu, and that only because another guest was guided up and I grabbed the waiter’s attention. I will personally always prefer the coconut coffee in the warmth but both coffees were good. As the sun went down and the lanterns started illuminating the atmosphere slowly changed as well which was cool.

I love the tropical mojito I ordered. Just a perfect drink in this chill night. I love how it’s not too crowded. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The place very aesthetic. Would recommend this place to my friends.

Went in fot a quick stop and I ordered one of their Detox juice which was really refreshing! Inside is quite artsy, with small boat replicas and hats as lamshade. There is a rooftop too that would be perfect to hang out during sunset. Definitely will come back!

Lovely place with a cozy and chill environment. Perfect for a relaxing drink or snack. And the shop in there ground floor had lots of stuff if you're interested in buying a few souvenirs.

Best place to go to for old town rooftop view. We went early at 8am to get coffee and the staff are really accomodating. Great atmosphere. The coconut coffee is highly recommended!

It’s an ideal place to enjoy the sunset with a cool breeze. The ambience is cozy and tastefully done, perfect for couples or solo visitors. Staff is friendly and service is prompt, adding to the overall experience. A good mix of calm, comfort, and character in the heart of Hoi An. Highly recommended for a relaxed break during your city walk.

While walking, we just stumbled at this cafe. From the good design of the menu, we checked that it might be a good chance to try their food. and we are right! We ordered their rice meals which is very gooooood!!! ☺️✨ They have an area with air conditioning so when you are feeling hot outside you can rest and order their cold coffee or fruit drinks! Staff are very kind and attentive especially Mr. Nam ☺️✨ If you need help just call him ✨

Highly recommend this place. They have everything! You must try also their egg coffee. It tastes amazing. The view at the rooftop is truly mesmerising.
Jan H — Google review
Amazing venue! Climb the three flights of stairs to the rooftop - it’s so worth it! We stumbled upon this place after 18 hours on the train from Ho Chi Minh and it was a blessing. The service was stellar - we were well looked after The Cao Lau was divine and a great introduction to a local specialty - both coffees (salted and coconut) were divine and the pineapple juice was fresh and yum. The husband’s big breakfast was a bit eclectic (the toast needed longer and some butter and the raw tomatoes and cooked tomatoes was a little odd!) but the vibe, view and service made up for it!

Amzing food! Fresh ingredients and very good presentation! Try their pandan tea and egg coffee! 2nd floor is AC. Good choice to escape Hoi An heat. Cozy music. Friendly staff! English is good! The place is cozy and good for queit talks :)

This is a hidden gem in the center of hoi an old town. We accidentally found it through google however the experience at this restaurant was really great. The luklak beef and curry shrimp really knocked my girlfriend out. Drinks are also quite diverse and healthy. However what makes this place special was the staff, hong, quyen, tam are very cute and helpful. The rooftop view here is also amazing, especially at sunset. We will definitely come back to this lovely restaurant.

I had the egg coffee and the sugarcane pandan drink which were both amazingly good 👍🏼 It was my first time drinking egg coffee and I am now a huge fan ! Being Malaysian , we are familiar with sugarcane juice but having sugarcane with pandan is a new concept and it really works ! We were at the second floor and I really loved the paintings and furnishings I love the staircase with the stone hand rail , feature chandelier and a large long painting on the staircase wall The green and white floor tiles were very soothing too The roof top had a lovely view of the roofscape of Hoi An ! Staff were attentive and patient too Highly recommend this place !

Moments Hoi An is a versatile spot that serves as a cozy coffee shop during the day and transforms into a low-key rooftop cocktail bar at night. The place offers famous drinks like Espresso Martini and locally infused cocktails. It has a secret upstairs space that enhances the evening experience, making it an Instagrammer's delight with slightly higher prices but worth it for the experience. The cafe also provides discounts for drink and food combos to balance out the pricing.
A lovely coffee spot in the heart of Hoi An. The upstairs seating is a real highlight, with charming views of the street below and a gentle breeze that makes it a perfect place to relax. The décor is stylish and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels calm despite being so central. Coffee was smooth and well-made, and it’s a great spot to take a break and watch the world go by.

We absolutely loved our coffee making workshop with Vinh. He was incredibly entertaining, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. He told us some wonderful stories about him growing up around coffee and of course helped us make some delicious coffees. Highly recommend the workshop, it’s on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 2pm.

Read about this shop. Unfortunately it was flooded by typhoon and only subsided the day before we landed. Although it has been clean up but the river water level is still high. We could only order and drink in a hurry. Famed Coconut coffee was ok but we like the salty coffee more. We only order 2 cups and share among the 4 of us. It comes to around 800k plus dong per cup. Worth a try.
Lee C — Google review
Despite the heat the cafe is kept cool with fans circulating air. We enjoyed a sponge cake, salted coffee and the citrus magic. The tea was sweet and delicious. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area.
Kassarna W — Google review
We did the coffee workshop with Vinh and had such an amazing time! I highly recommend you do this class when you are in Hoi An! We learned how to make 4 different types of coffees including condense milk, salted, and coconut (2 ways)! We learned so much about coffee and the coffee culture in Vietnam! Thank you for such a great class!
Kadin Z — Google review
Disappointing Experience: Overpriced Drinks and Abysmal Service The "order and pay" policy felt particularly galling given the complete lack of service and bad customer service that followed (in an empty cafe). We paid a hefty price for our drinks, only to be largely ignored. Beers were around 130,000 VND, and the wine was ridiculously expensive for what amounted to barely half a glass. Such prices are completely unjustifiable when coupled with zero table service. Ultimately, I cannot recommend this cafe at all. It's a clear tourist trap that prioritizes extracting high prices while offering a truly terrible experience. I certainly won't be coming back.
Helena W — Google review
This blew me away. Very good. Very professional, lots of information and fun. I learnt a lot more than I expected and came away keen to try some more things, even though I come from Melbourne Australia which prides itself on its coffee culture. Highly recommended.

Such a fun experience! We took a class on learning how to make coffee. The class had a really nice, relaxed atmosphere, and the hosts were warm and welcoming; Vinh was great!! Best place to hide yourself away and do your own things or just spend time yapping with your best mate! Lovely cafe with beautiful view over the vegetable garden I only tried their orange juice so I cannot comment on the coffee drinks. The pastrami sandwich was not cheap by Vietnamese standards (170k) but it was delicious. The cafe is very well shaded and was pleasant even in the hot afternoon
Alberto M — Google review
been here so many times. Pricing is valueable to the services and products compare to same level cafe in Hoi An. There construction is invested nicely with a wooden house. Restroom is clean, convinient and spacious. The drink is about 70k/ unit but it worth because the staff is supportive even they not show the friendliness too much but what I expect for is the caring and they did a great job! If you confused this with some other famous brands, let’s go to Slow! By the way the Tra Que view is so amazing!

Best cafe in Hoi An! This space is beautiful and perfectly designed with a range of seating options. There’s nothing better than sipping a perfectly brewed coffee whilst watching the the daily hustle and bustle in Tra Que village. The music is always on point and baked goods delicious. This place puts me in an instantly good mood.

It located hidden place at traque area, quite and remote Hoian Oldtown. It served almost kinds of coffee like cappuccino, lattte and ... but not local and speciality coffee. Thier bean is good Arabica bean and good coffee machine and nice garden with big trees. However, it is difficulty way to come and not comfortable seat. Try at once if you want to look for strange place and experience .

Absolutely stunning little café in the heart of the Tra Que Vegetable Village between Hoi An and An Bang Beach. Get there early in the morning if you’d like a spot at 1 of the 3 tables on the front porch. They are the best seats in the house overlooking the vegetable village. It is a mandatory stop while in Hoi An for a delightful and relaxing experience.

I thought this would be a café with rice field views, but it only overlooks a small vegetable garden. Because there are a lot of plants, expect mosquitoes. Not suitable for large groups — if you happen to talk a bit loudly, staff may come over to remind you to keep it down. There are a few nice corners for photos. Drinks are just okay, nothing special.

One of the most serene cafe spaces in Hoi An. They make every drink with love and it shows :) We sat here for more than three hours overlooking the beautiful water view, plants, and succulents. For sunny times, they have a shaded area with fans that’s perfect to relax. We had fresh orange juice, coconut coffee, yogurt and passion fruit smoothie, and salt coffee (which they made much less sweet than usual on my request). We are definitely coming here again. Wish we had discovered this cafe slightly earlier on the trip.

Located in Hoi An Ancient Town, 92 Station Restaurant & Cafe offers a blend of Vietnamese and international cuisine in a modern dining atmosphere. The restaurant is known for its attentive service and authentic dishes like cao lau noodles, com ga (chicken rice), and the Hoi An Tasting Menu featuring regional specialties. While prices may be slightly higher than other local eateries, all proceeds support hospitality and culinary training programs for underprivileged youths in the area.
92 Station is a great alternative to the often-crowded Faifo Coffee. Drink prices are reasonable, with decent quality and attentive service. The view is quite lovely, especially during sunset, making it a peaceful spot to unwind away from the crowds.

I recently visited a truly wonderful cafe. The cappuccino was excellent, and the rooftop offers a stunning view of the old town—it's the perfect spot to watch the sunset. This is definitely my go-to place for a great cup of coffee.

You’re required to order at least one drink per person to go upstairs — but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it! The view from the top is stunning, offering a full panorama of Hoi An’s ancient town. I tried the coconut coffee and recommend having it as the café suggests (I asked for less sugar and it wasn’t as good😅). The café is easy to find and definitely worth a visit! 😊

Had Coconut coffee there and it was great. The environment on the 2nd floor impresses me. Being alone there on a rainy afternoon, it gives me a very soulful ambience amidst a traditional Vietnamese environment to write a lengthy letter (which I have not done in ages). Yes, the 2nd floor and the coffee make my day.

A rather touristy place as everyone wants to get the view at the roof. That being said, I personally think it’s worth doing as you get to see a very new perspective of hoi an. Run by a friendly Australian couple, this establishment caters to those looking for familiar tastes from home with its generous portions and diverse menu including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. The place offers fast Wi-Fi and comfortable seating both indoors and outdoors.
Tried gluten free bread with butter chicken, then next day Thái green curry. Both dishes had enough chicken meat. Both had actual flavours. The gluten free bread was that, heftier than regular bread. Can use Wise Prepaid Debit Card for payment, no extra hidden charges. A big plus.

We came to Dingo Deli after craving gluten free pizza over the last few months travelling, and it more than cured that!! The pizza was so so yummy, and my boyfriend (who isn’t gluten free and had a regular base) said it was also his best pizza so far! I also got a gluten free carrot cake to go, which was lush!

I'm staying in Da Nang, however when I saw the menu and the pics, I had to come. I needed some western breakfast and they met all my expectations. The service, food, atmosphere, everything was great. I can't wait to come back.

Only ate half, and they gave me a little fruit salad to apologize for the over cooked eggs & you can see quite clearly these eggs were not poached but cooked in a cup or microwave.. top dollar low quality unfortunately. Refund would have been more appropriate. I don't travel to whinge or create stress.. but I won't return to places that don't live up to the hype.

You must visit dingo deli for the fabulous gluten free food. They have a separate menu with plenty of choice. They can also bake gluten free bread within a few hours of ordering. Excellent staff and service

We came here from a recommendation to get the chicken Caesar wrap. When we got here we couldn’t help ourself but order the pastrami sandwich also and go half and half. We didn’t think much of the wrap but the pastrami sandwich however.. amazing. We came back a second day just for it. At 159K you can’t go wrong with the size of this thing, it’s massive! And super tasty. Over all the restaurant is clean and staff are friendly and give great service. Since here is a lot of westernised food it is a bit pricier however, still affordable. Would recommend if you’re missing home comforts such as bangers and mash or a chilli con carne. I even managed to find a Dr Pepper which was a blessing after travelling around Asia for a few months. They offer a wide range of gluten free options even desserts.

We had a lovely meal here for our last night in Hoi An! I wish we had come earlier because I would love to go back! I’m gluten free and was so reassured by the owner about cross contamination and separate cooking for gluten free options. We got a variety of dishes to share and each was incredible! Would highly recommend if you’re gluten free or not it’s a great spot! Worth the trip out of the old town!

This restaurant was puzzling to me because going in I thought it would be more of a small mom-and-pop cafe style restaurant I was expecting moderately nice American/Chinese cuisine and that would have been more than sufficient to have me want to return. I was shocked however to find this place isn't turning out your average Americanized Chinese food oh no this place is making exceptionally high quality food fresh to order in an open kitchen and it rivals some of the top Chinese restaurants I have experienced around the world. From this humble little restaurant I was served extraordinary balanced complex entrees that were sweet without being cloying that were spicy without being overwhelming that allowed the natural savory qualities of the proteins to come forward in a perfect balance. I was stunned by how incredible the food was how nice the staff was and the depth and breadth of the menu itself was perfect. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Wow – what an unforgettable dining experience! The Mate Restaurant might not be in the busy Old Town of Hoi An, but trust me, it is absolutely worth hopping in a Grab and heading to the beachside for this one. The vibe of the place is relaxed and stylish, with great music playing in the background, creating the perfect ambiance for a lovely dinner. And the food? Outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. This was, hands down, one of the best dinners I've had in Vietnam. Don’t miss this spot – it’s a true gem.

Such a lovely little spot, as many others have said it’s a great place to just watch the world go by. The family who run it are so lovely and friendly, you’re made to feel very welcome. The fried spring rolls were insanely good! Admittedly the beef in the pho was quite tough/overcooked, but the flavour of the broth was incredible which more than made up for it. I came here 15 years ago with my family, I was 16 and my dad felt it was the only place that did good food…we went there every single day for lunch whilst in Hoi An. Returning and seeing that Thy has also set up a tailoring business, but kept the cafe running made me so happy! I sat down and the street was buzzing with activity. It was a great way to reset before wandering around the streets again. I ordered the chicken Bahn mi and a Vietnamese iced coffee, it was all great. Although I haven’t been back as I’ve been trying to experience some other places, I will be back again one day! And I love walking by and seeing people sitting there with their families or on their own just enjoying the people watching.

Best place in Hoi an to sit and watch the world go by. Right at the beginning of the old town market. Super friendly. Great food & drink, super affordable. A must stop for any trip to town.

Great location for watching the busy world of Hoi An go by, good value, coffee for the location in the middle of old town across from the river and location markets. I highly recommend their authentic egg coffee, and the Vietnamese ice milk coffee has a nice glass appeal.

Beautiful fresh Bahn Mi. The watermelon juice was so refreshing and the beer cold and served in a stubby holder. Perfect! Great for people watching.

Coffee shop
Cộng Cafe is a bustling coffee shop known for its coconut coffees, chai, and other specialty drinks, as well as a variety of cafe eats and desserts. Originating from Hanoi in 2007, this retro-themed coffeehouse chain quickly gained popularity for its nostalgic communist-era ambiance. The Hoi An location offers a picturesque view by the river with well-designed decor and ample seating options. Despite being crowded at times, the cafe efficiently manages seating arrangements.
Cộng Cà Phê is one of my favorite coffee chains in Vietnam. It beautifully preserves the authentic values of the country's history. The thoughtfully curated interiors always remind me of Kolkata’s vintage charm. The coffee is quite good and reasonably priced. The staff wear uniforms that evoke the spirit of a significant movement in Vietnam’s past, adding to the immersive atmosphere. If you sit by the window, you can enjoy a charming view of the river and watch the boats gently pass by. The name "Cộng" is inspired by “Cộng sản,” meaning “communism,” reflecting the café's nostalgic tribute to Vietnam’s historical era.

Unlike in hanoi (near lake) this shop only accept cash. The waitress not friendly for me. But theie coconut coffe is very good. I rexommwnd take big glass 14 oz. They dont use real glass, just paper glass. They can not separate the sugar, and no less sugar. At hanpo the female staf is friendly. They have 3 floor. The different is they wear war uniform

Cong Caphe, just opposite the river, is a cozy and inviting spot. The seating is comfortable, with a great view to enjoy while you relax. Wi-Fi is strong, making it perfect for working or long chats. You can easily sit here for four to five hours without any rush. The ambience has a rustic charm with a unique vintage vibe. Their signature salted coffee is a must-try – rich and flavorful. Overall, a great place to unwind, work, or simply enjoy Hoi An’s calm.

One of my favorite cafés in Hoi An. The drinks are reasonably priced, and you can relax and enjoy the river view while sipping your coffee. The coffee tastes great and isn’t expensive. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. Highly recommended!

Love everything about hoi an, especially this cafe. Good coffee, good vibe, good spot to take pic and talking chilling. The coconut coffee is a bit sweet for me but overall would be 9/10!

Decided to go for one of their signature coffees, and opted for the coconut green rice ice coffee, it was like drinking rice pudding and totally delicious. The other drink we ordered was the iced coconut coffee, again delicious. Really nice peaceful part of Hoi An right on the riverside, so pleased the pilot on our flight recommended it to us. Excellent spot to escape the busy streets

Cong Caphe in Hoi An is really a vibe! The atmosphere really lives up for Ancient Town type of chill. Minimal lighting inside the cafe. Less people compare to the other branch in Da Nang City. Most of the staff can speak english

The Inner Hoian by Àla is a beloved café in Hoi An known for its cozy atmosphere and exceptional specialty coffee selection. While previously only offering beverages, they have now expanded their menu to include delicious food options, making it an ideal spot for both work and leisure. The café features a charming open-air courtyard and offers a diverse range of expertly roasted and brewed coffees from Vietnam's top farms as well as other renowned coffee-growing regions worldwide.
recommened by a friend and i decided to give this place a go! most of coffee shops here are bland but this one is different! they have outdoor space for chatting and also indoor tables for working. the atmosphere is EVERYTHING. their coffee was great, the staffs are friendly and REALLY knowledgable about specialty coffee. i tried “the yellow” and also their pour-over. absolutely delicious! a must-try place for coffee lovers if you visit hoian!

We ordered a Flat White, Hojicha Bubble Tea, and Vietnamese coffee with milk (cà phê sữa). The coffee they serve is of high quality and delicious. Despite being tasty, the Vietnamese coffee was a bit disappointing as it was extremely tiny so just so you are aware before you order it. It's a good place for remote work with a quick Wi-Fi. The staff is polite.
Dominik W — Google review
I’ve had drinks from this café many times, but the last two visits were disappointing. The first time, I ordered matcha and the café added sugar without asking. Why not ask the customer first? The next time, I felt the café was very inconsistent with its policies. I respect hygiene and safety rules, including the “no food inside” policy, and I never bring outside food into cafés. But I witnessed another customer being asked to go outside and eat on the street, while at another table, a group of girls freely took out snacks from their bags and ate comfortably—even as the staff served their drinks. Meanwhile, the staff themselves brought food into the bar area to eat. Doesn’t the smell affect the drinks being made? The drinks are acceptable — pure roasted coffee, simple and easy-to-choose menu. However, the outdoor seating area smells strongly of food from the nearby restaurant. The air-conditioned room is extremely cold, with fans blowing hard and no way to turn them down. The restroom is clean, but the rusty metal latch is very stiff; it hurts your hand when trying to unlock it. What if someone with weaker hands couldn’t open it? Even though there were several staff members, finished tables weren’t cleared for new customers; the staff just stood around awkwardly, looking into space as if searching for something, then walked back inside. Honestly, apart from using good ingredients, the café’s service touchpoints are careless and not worth the price of 70–75K per drink in Hoi An. A truly incomplete experience.

Little HaNoi Egg Coffee in Hoi An is a must-visit for those seeking the authentic taste of Ca phe trung (egg coffee) from Vietnam. The concept was born in Hanoi by Mr. Giang, who sought to replace imported fresh milk with local ingredients in the 1950s. The cafe offers a great atmosphere for a relaxing breakfast and serves delicious food and coffee, although some patrons wish for larger portions.
We stopped in here mid morning for some coffee after having a walk in Hoi An. We ordered one Egg coffee and one Coconut coffee. We’re here in Vietnam, so we have to try it right? The egg coffee was incredible and rich, it almost was more like a dessert for me but that’s okay. The coconut coffee was very good too but compared to the egg coffee it was less interesting. We also ordered a plate of mango which was outstanding. The mango was very sweet and so tasty. The vibe is very cool in a beautiful building. If you need AC then sit upstairs but the downstairs seating is nice but warmer. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area and just want to get out of the heat and have a nice coffee.

This is my second visit, and I’ve already enjoyed two cups of iced egg coffee. I absolutely love this coffee and will definitely miss it. The piano music today is wonderful—so relaxing and charming. // Absolutely fabulous iced and hot egg coffees! Every sip is as delicious as what you'd find at the original outlet in HCM. As usual, one cup is never enough! This spot truly lives up to its name — Little Hanoi's Egg Coffee. I had hot egg coffee in Hanoi several years ago, and honestly, the quality and flavor here are just as good. Rich, creamy, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced — it's a must-try for any coffee lover visiting the area!

I found this place in Saigon and visited multiple times during my trip. They mentioned they had one in Hoi An so I had to stop in while here. Absolutely the same wonderful experience!! This place does in fact have the best egg coffee of all. Its perfect. Upstairs is a quiet work space and a book exchange library. Staff is super friendly. It’s in Old Town yet off a block or two making it feel quiet and less crowded which was a nice treat.

What a hidden gem! This is our favorite cafe we visited in Hoi An - staff were kind, food and coffee was good, price was very cheap. They also gave away postcards and wallets which was a really really nice touch. The atmosphere was also very nice and we would have spent hours in this cafe. Will visit again when we come back!

Coffee and ambience made me come back multiple times. It’s laptop-friendly with fast wifi and some tables that have sockets nearby. They serve a lovely breakfast too, with generous portions! Great spot to start the day or get some work done over coffee.

The house signiture dish is egg coffee, originally from Ha Noi. The restaurant prepares it, to my taste, with just the right ratio of Vietnamese coffee to egg cream. The decor is rather simple but very cozy.

Little Hanoi in Hội An was such a lifesaver on a hot day 😅☀️ It’s one of the few cafés in the Old Town with air conditioning. The coffee was really good and the eggs benedict hit the spot, just as tasty as the one in Saigon. Cozy vibe and the perfect place to cool down while exploring, recommended!

The Tri Long coffee class, led by Huong and Oanh, was an incredible learning experience. Both instructors possess deep expertise in the art of coffee making, and their passion truly shines through. During the class, I learned how to identify different types of coffee beans, including robusta, arabica, and even the unique Vietnamese weasel coffee—made from beans that have passed through the digestive system of the civet. I also got hands-on experience crafting a variety of Vietnamese coffee drinks: - Drip coffee - Vietnamese white coffee - Egg coffee - Coconut coffee - Salt coffee (a beloved local favorite) Huong and Oanh went beyond just brewing—they demonstrated and explained the entire roasting process, offering insights into how flavor profiles are developed. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the class and gained a wealth of knowledge. It was both fun and enriching!

Me and my partner did the coffee making experience and it was amazing, we were both able to pick 2 of our own different coffees. Our teacher was very insightful and we learnt a lot about the different beans and the process they go through. We then brewed coffee and tasted it and then learnt the process of both salt and egg coffees and how they are made. I couldn’t recommend the course more!

My friends and I done the 2 course coffee making class and it was brilliant! Thi our amazing barista and coffee making tutor explained in detail about the coffee beans and various teas sold in store. We all made the egg coffee first which was very interesting and we were delighted with our result. I then selected the coconut coffee as I’m a coconut lover and again Thi done an amazing job explaining how to make it. Overall fabulous experience and highly recommend.

Perfect Swedish vegetarian café . Many gluten-free options. The staff understands and communicates well in English. Delicious food and it was brought to the table quite fast (appreciated). The drinks are also amazing and they have oat milk. The desserts looked nice, but didn’t taste them. The toilet was very clean too. The only thing I would do better is : add an AC.
Lora O — Google review
Cute cafe tucked away, lovely service. Had the gluten free toast with avocado, tomato pesto & egg, very yum! Also the coconut vegan coffee was very bitter with an odd after taste but the lady explained it’s due to the vegan condensed milk not being very sweet. I would say it’s overpriced for what it is, we paid nearly 500K VND for the avo toast & one granola bowl with juice and coffee. Pistachio chocolate tart was vegan and gluten free and was so delicious!

This cafe is amazing!!! So, I was in Hoi An for a week, and after finding this cafe a couple of days in, I returned to this cafe everyday! This was my favourite western style cafe that I went to during my 3 month trip around SE Asia. The owner is super sweet and lovely. I tried almost everything on the menu; it was all mouthwatering. What I ate was better than a lot of the cafes back home in the UK. I loved the cakes, and smoothies too, and the coffee was out of this world! A big part of why I kept returning besides the delicious food was the vibes. This cafe had THE BEST music I heard during my whole trip. They were playing the likes of Patti Smith, Bob Dylan, Arlo Parks, Nick Cave, Fleetwood Mac. The cafe has a laid back inviting atmosphere, and a friendly dog who chills by the books. Also another little detail: really nice little W.C. which has a fan in it, so you don’t overheat whilst going to the loo. I wish I had this cafe on my doorstep now I’m back home. It is such a gem!

Tamy Coffee - The Rooftop Hoian is a must-visit spot in Hoi An, offering a unique blend of coffee and coconut ice cream that surprisingly works well together. Despite the crowd on the rooftop, it's worth being patient to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy the stunning view. The restaurant's interior captures the essence of old Vietnam, making it perfect for photo opportunities.
We discovered this restaurant while looking for a break on after a long walked from shopping. We didn’t want to eat but more to sit down and relax and have a cup of coffee, while not going for a chain, this restaurant has it. We had all sort of drinks and the special one would be salted coffee and coconut coffee. All great and nice. But what we loved most was the interior! It was superb and just what you look for to experience the old vietnam. I couldn’t stop taking photos. The service was also great. We loved it so much we went back the following day!! Don’t miss it. The view from the roof top is awesome and they also have a balcony overlooking the street..

We discovered Tamy while looking for a seat to do online meeting. During lunchtime, there isn't much noise. It has 3 levels, comfortable seating, cute decor, a piano and fine drinks. The service is quite good. When I arrived last winter, the 2nd-floor areas had a bit of a rainwater leak. Hope they have fixed it. Still recommend for family because of the location. Thanks!

Cozy and spacious coffee shop that has good speaker and nice songs. It’s a good place to sit down and read a book or something after spending time in hectic and crowded Hoi An. Coffees taste less traditional, fried spring rolls are crispy and yummy. They accept credit card and there’re power sockets all over the place which is a bonus!

Just a normal coffee shop in the old town of Hoian that offer rooftop view of the ancient houses. That’s reason why people just want to check in and take photos, not really enjoying drinks. What I don’t like here is that they still use the plastic straws, which are not proper for Hoian Eco city

The food here is really delicious, and the coffee is great! I can definitely recommend this place. There are a few minor things that, if improved, would make it a perfect 10/10: the smell of cat litter in the area, and having some sweet options or small desserts to go with the coffee 😍

Nice little coffee shop with a good range of drinks for a normal price. Nice seating inside and out. Service was quick and friendly too

Maybe there is a break in the afternoon, I’m not sure. I arrived in the evening and it’s good. Decor is nice and coffee is standard.

Faifo Cafe is a must-visit spot in Hoi An Ancient Town, drawing in countless tourists annually with its stunning exterior and interior design. Situated at 130 Tran Phu street, this cafe opens early and closes late, making it convenient for visitors to drop by at any time. While some may find the continuous Christmas songs a bit overwhelming, the overall experience of enjoying delicious coffee and good service makes it worth a visit.
Multiple reviews from me here. Firstly, Fantastic service. Fantastic Vietnamese coffee. Having breakfast at the poolside is excellent. Quality and choice is huge. Secondly, had the Saturday night Bbq. This is some of the best food I have eaten in Vietnam. The salads are amazing. The bbq pork simply the best. The king sized prawns devine. We.spent 3 hours here. All the family loved all the food. My daughter said she ate the best ever lasagne. She is an expert so I believe her. We tried all the cocktails. All the deserts. All the bbq items. The prawns are amazing but the pork won it for me. Best bbq pork with sate sauce I have ever eaten. I am quite experienced in fine dining and this is fantastic. This has to be the best quality food I have had on my many trips to Vietnam. I highly recommend the Saturday night bbq.

🫶 Beautiful, calm, and full of quiet inspiration. The music, the coffee, the view — everything here aligned perfectly for a deep creative flow. A very important document was born for me in this space, and I’m grateful for the atmosphere that made it possible. The rooftop is bright and open, but don’t forget the lower terrace — it carries a different kind of peace, closer to the river, where thoughts slow down and start to take shape. Simply — thank you for the harmony and silence that create.

We got a Grab coffee on departure day. They have Oat Milk! Coffees were delicious.
Michal R — Google review
Drink is prepared poorly. Ice-blended coffee is watery. Peach tea is salty. There are better view and cheaper drinks elsewhere.

Christmas songs nonstop are a bit annoying, but that's a "most wonderful time of the year" 😂, so can do nothing with that)) Food and service is good 👌

Bosgaurus Coffee Roasters is a charming coffee shop located a couple of blocks north of Hoi An's Old Town, tucked away down a small alley. The riverside seats offer beautiful views, although they can get quite hot. The staff is known for their friendly and attentive service, ensuring guests are comfortable and well taken care of. The cafe offers a variety of delicious coffee options, carefully roasted in Saigon, with different single origins to try.
Beautiful coffee shop right on the river front. The riverside seats are beautiful (BUT HOT). the staff gave us the friendliest service we’ve had in Vietnam. The server was so attentive and made sure we had a fan at all times, offered to take pictures and constantly refilled our water. The coffee was delicious and they offered many varieties. The chairs are very very cool too. Would love to try their coffee beer too!

Really lovely spot in Hoi An. The prices are relatively steep, but the drinks are good. The tea drinks with foam are kind of unique - I got the lemon lavender one and really enjoyed it. They have indoor and outdoor seating - feels airy and like a nice escape from some of the tourist chaos outside.
Taly M — Google review
If you’re into coffee this is the place. Their coffee is carefully roasted in Saigon, and they’ve got a range of different single origins to try. Best coffee in Vietnam so far! 👏👏👏

Cool looking spot with great people watching seats down by the water. The coffee was good and locally sourced. But the best thing about this place is the service. The staff are so attentive and really left a great impression. My favourite place to hide out from the sun in the old town of Hoi An.

very tasty espresso and polite service. missing a star because of price. with lots of great coffee and a couple high-end specialty shops, commanding US prices is a little much. but probably the best espresso Ive had in Hoi An. Phin might compare and is worth checking out.

Tucked away in a charming alley, Alley Artist Cafe is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An. This delightful spot offers a cozy atmosphere with mismatched chairs and lush greenery that adds a personal touch to your experience. While their coffee may not be extraordinary, it’s an ideal place to enjoy an iced Americano or their renowned coconut coffee on a hot day.
A hidden gem coffee shop, pretty close to the Central Market. Make sure you get the coconut coffee here, it’s so good and pretty filling
Thuy D — Google review
Super cute little coffee place hidden down an alley. Away from the bustling tourist streets of Hoi An, this hidden gem serves up amazing coconut coffee. The workshop next door has lovely pottery and pieces of art for sale.
