Coffee roasters
Espresso bar
black. coffee roasters is a charming cafe located in Bratislava, offering a top-notch coffee experience with specialty drinks like cappuccinos and pumpkin spice lattes. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make it an ideal spot to savor your coffee indoors or outdoors. Known for its attention to detail, the cafe's monochrome interior design adds to its appeal.
Really nice place to come, the coffee was just above average for the third wave scene here in Bratislava. I’d say the milkwork could have mixed the coffee a little better, it had a heavy top. Other than that it was pleasant.
Lift_Run_Eat_ — Google review
Uber cool & trendy cafe away from the busy touristy area - and that’s a good thing. The coffee is excellent- definitely exceeded my expectations. Loved the cool decor and the free WiFi. The place is bustling and has a lovely vibe, nice spot to chill out and relax. Service was super friendly too. Absolutely worth taking a detour here. Highly recommended
Gustav — Google review
Nice coffee, friendly staff, prices all make sense. Plus they are laptop friendly and there is good inside seating plus a working toilet and nice music. I liked the semi-warm wood furnishings and vibes inside.
Mackers — Google review
Interior was very tidy, staff was kind and polite and the coffee tasted absolutely delicious. Vegan milk alrernatives are also available. The cappuccino i ordered was quite expensive compared to other cafes but i think the cup/drink was also slightly bigger than regular ones. If you're around, give it a try !
Vani F — Google review
Wonderful experience. Flat white is one of the best I've had, and I've had a lot from all over the world. Delicious passion fruit cake.
Alexandra D — Google review
As a regular coffee drinker, I personally found their iced Y a bit underwhelming - could hardly taste any coffee in my glass. The menu also didn’t make it clear that it was simply iced coffee with milk, which added to the confusion. When I mentioned this to the staff, they did offer to make another one, though I was asked to pay €3.5 for the replacement, which felt a bit unusual. A clearer description in the menu would definitely help manage expectations.
Dinna — Google review
Lovely coffee place in Bratislava — we had the cold brew, chai latte and affogato. They were all really good. Really nice atmosphere and interiors.
Sofia C — Google review
I ordered the double shot with steamed milk in Y size (200 mL). The coffee flavor was good but rather mild, for my taste. My bf got a smaller version (X, 100ml) and it definitely had a much stronger coffee taste. I would definitely order the 100ml next time. Overall, the coffee flavor is good and the milk foam is well done. Worth a visit.

Coffee shop
Pán Králiček Priestor, also known as Mr. Rabbit, is a charming café situated across from the Nivy Mall and main bus station in Bratislava. While it's the only physical location, you can find their coffee carts scattered throughout downtown, including one near the Primate's Palace. The café is renowned for its espresso tonic, a delightful concoction blending bold espresso with fizzy tonic water.
Such a unique and cozy spot in the heart of Bratislava! Pán Králiček Priestor has a creative vibe that’s hard to find elsewhere. The coffee is top-quality, and you can really tell they care about every detail—from the beautifully designed space to the carefully curated menu. It’s perfect for a quiet moment with a book, catching up with friends, or just soaking in the atmosphere. One of my favorite hidden gems in the city
Just Z — Google review
Nice little coffee shop near the center. They have very tasty options on the menu and display. Their cappuccino with oat milk is very tasty. You can guy roasted beans here as well. They have a small selection of tasty deserts as well. Everything I’ve tried so far has been good. Nice spot to stop by.
Riley B — Google review
Cozy café with a pleasant atmosphere. The coffee was excellent, the stuffed bread was very tasty, and the staff was friendly and attentive. A great spot to relax or meet up with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Johny W — Google review
It’s a small café, but it has such a charming atmosphere that keeps you coming back. Beautiful coffee accessories are on display, and the brews have a rich, full flavor that coffee lovers will adore. Their freshly baked cakes are so popular that people line up for them — and for good reason. A cozy little spot where the aroma of coffee warms both your hands and your heart.
A Y — Google review
Lovely, small place, you can have a coffee or cake while you are waiting for your bus. You can sit inside and outside too. The service is not the greatest, sometimes it feels the waiters don't want to be there. But the coffee is tasty.
N. K — Google review
Nice place, nice staff. Good coffee and delicious cakes. Mornings and afternoons are a bit overcrowded but still good place to sit and enjoy coffee and cake, either alone or with friends.
Peter B — Google review
An excellent coffee shop: great coffee and amazing food, both savoury and sweet! Great sourdough bread -sandwiches or muhamara spread- and very tasty desserts.
Petros P — Google review
Very nice spot to grab a coffee and a breakfast. Sandwiches are delicious, coffee is also great if you’re into lighter roasts. A bit too expensive for Bratislava.

If you're wandering through the charming streets of Bratislava, make sure to stop by Zeppelin Cafe and Souvenirs. Nestled conveniently between the main square and Michael's Gate, this delightful spot offers a unique blend of homemade Slovak delicacies and locally crafted souvenirs. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an ideal place to relax with a delicious cup of coffee or indulge in their freshly baked pastries.
Probably the best cafe in Bratislava!!! The cakes was just AMAZING!!! One of the best i have ever taste and of course the chocolate which made by cacao and don't have so much milk and the taste is just awesome, even better than Vienna's chocolate! You must visit it for sure!!!
Dimitris K — Google review
Great place to have a coffee with cake! Or lemonade with cake. Unfortunately, it is very hard to stop eating here, so be aware:) too tasty! Small and cozy place, atmospheric and popular among tourists. Prices are reasonable - about 3-5 euros per cake. And last but not least - beautiful ladies work here, lovely and helpful. Thank you so much:) We’ve enjoyed staying here and will return back again.
Konstantin С — Google review
Cute place, very pleasant stuff. The cakes looked delicious. My two friends had some so I tasted. The taste was rich and interesting. Slight disadvantage for me - they were too sweet for me, but I don't eat sugar at all so I'm not representative sample of café's visitor. This is the reason why I didn't go for any. What I minded a little was too packed room for sitting. But I guess some people might it charming. In general, i recommend to visit! You will surely choose form cake offer. On a top of that, if you are tourist, the first part of café is actually souvenir shop so you can buy typical Slovak things there.
Jana K — Google review
The kingdom of cakes. This place is one of our best findings! Warm personnel, excellent home-made cakes and pastries, perfect coffee, beautiful souvenirs – Zeppelin cafe is definitely an amazing spot to have a rest while enjoying some really good treats. A must-stop during your visit!
Lev C — Google review
It's a nice place to have a fresh lemonade with berries or a hot coffee. Also the cakes are delicious. I always have the chocolate cake. There is good music and wifi. The staff is very nice and friendly. The staff speaks good english and there is a sweet lady that speaks fluent spanish. There is a souvenir shop that have interesting things. I highly reccomend this place. I will come back soon for some good and delicious desserts and drinks.
Katia D — Google review
Absolutely charming café in the quaint Old Town of Bratislava. The outer area is more of a souvenir shop featuring local Slovak products, but the hidden gem is the cafe that lies further in. They offer tea, coffee, and incredible cakes for so much cheaper than in Vienna, yet quality is on par if not better than some of the konditorei I have visited in Vienna. Staff are lovely and attentive to our needs. As I was wondering which cake to order, a waitress suggested I have the krémes, a classic treat of creamy custard stuffed between two layers of thin fluffy pastry. It was hands down the best cake I had during my weekend trip in Vienna and Bratislava. I really enjoyed my time at Zeppelin and highly recommend checking out this little café when you visit Bratislava. Looking forward to coming back here someday.
Hoang T — Google review
Very nice place to enjoy yourself in. Its very cozy place with souvenirs, great cakes and pies. Also a kids section is not forgotten here. Selection of cakes is not small here, so be prepared that it will take some time, before you will choose. Recommended place and have fun time visiting there. :-)
Matej U — Google review
The desserts, teas, service we had were excellent. The homemade hot tea was extremely good. It had cut fruits, honey, and spices in it. The manager came by several times to check on us. The service staff always have smiles and are cheerful and helpful. Wi-Fi is available. Multiple languages are spoken among the staff.

Urban House is a trendy and unconventional coffee shop located in Bratislava. The interior boasts modern decor with beautiful wooden floors, colorful hammocks, and even a cool bike serving as functional decorations. The cafe offers a variety of European beers along with true stories about their origins from the manager Tomas. In addition to beer, guests can enjoy high-quality coffee prepared in various alternative ways, as well as wine and tasty snacks such as bio-cookies and homemade salty treats.
Had a great solo brunch at Urban House. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the food was fresh and enjoyable. What really stood out was the service—Denis was warm, attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to get that level of care, especially when dining alone. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you for such a good experience
Catalina I — Google review
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this restaurant and can’t give it a high rating. The food wasn’t badly prepared, but it was very ordinary, nothing special, with a simple presentation — and the prices are seriously overpriced. I ordered the small pizza with burrata and prosciutto. There was literally just one slice of prosciutto torn into pieces, and the burrata portion was tiny — not even a whole piece. The pizza sticks were basically just pieces of dough: soft and crispy, but nothing more. Four of them for €11! You can see everything in the photos. On the positive side, the food was cooked properly and tasted fine, but the portion sizes for these prices in Bratislava are just too small. The dishes are not unique or special enough to justify such costs. The interior is nice, and that’s the only reason I’m giving any stars at all. I would strongly recommend the owners reconsider their pricing policy. For now, I can’t recommend this place. Quite a shame.
Olga H — Google review
Stopped by for a few cocktails shortly before closing time. The staff was very friendly and courteously informed us they would be closing soon, which we appreciated. Despite the late hour, the cocktails were delicious and beautifully presented. Great service and quality drinks - would definitely return earlier next time to enjoy more of what they offer!
Ivaylo M — Google review
WOW! This restaurant has a very nice and well decorated interior. The desserts were really good not that sweet. If I live in Bratislava I would de here every weekend.
Hill S — Google review
This place has an amazing chill vibe, staff is extremely nice and helpful. We came here for breakfast/brunch, which was great. I had poached eggs, we also had omelette and shakshuka. Portions were huge, bread was delicious. They also use free range eggs.
Zofia L — Google review
The food was unfortunately not very tasty and didn’t quite meet my expectations. However, the atmosphere of the place was really nice and welcoming. The service girl a big difference – especially Natalie, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. Her warm and caring attitude created a very pleasant experience despite the food not being the highlight.
Nina — Google review
Best cafe in Bratislava! I really recommend for all! Polite service, tasty food very nice design inside. I was surprised and will come back for sure.
Rostyslav P — Google review
The food here was absolutely incredible. I had the truffle chicken with veggies and the waiter came over to grate fresh truffle on top right at the table, which was such a nice touch. They were also super accommodating with allergies, someone at our table asked for ingredient changes and everything was done exactly as requested. Our waiter, Timotej, was honestly the most charismatic server I’ve ever encountered, funny, kind, and just full of good vibes. The overall vibe is amazing, kind of disco, with lots of plants and super tasteful furniture. And the bathroom ambiance was such a fun surprise, I wasn’t expecting that at all. Oh, and the dessert? Absolutely divine.

Nestled near Bratislava Castle, Kava.Bar is a charming and cozy pit stop for visitors exploring the area. The small yet inviting space boasts an antique vibe with cute window seats and an eclectic decor. While the food selection may be limited, the coffee is highly praised. It's a perfect spot to recharge during a visit to the castle or enjoy breakfast with options like cheesecake and toasted croissants with ham and cheese.
Perfect experience for breakfast. We went there two times. We tried the cheesecake, it was very good, and the croissant with ham and cheese comes toasted which makes it delicious. It’s possible to order lactose free drinks. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy, the music is awesome. They accept card payment as well.
Anna M — Google review
A very cute & cozy place, with great coffee and fresh orange juice. We loved the poppy seed strudel and all the amazing small coconut sugar desserts.
Anastasija N — Google review
Really slow service, lack of products, dry cakes. The coffee is good, made by an old machine, and for this I put the second star. The bar would close after 2 days in most of European countries because of security reasons, like the hidden step once you enter (we saw several people that risked to fell).
Dario F — Google review
Was very crowded around 11/12h so we took a cup on the way. Device was kind and quick. The place also looked extremely cute and cozy. Inside the cafe it was very noisy. The coffee on its own was good, maybe a little sour;) Alternative milk is available here.
Varvara — Google review
Had some coffes at this place today, but unfortunatelly we did Not feel, that the shop had the Basic standards we expected after reading the previous reviews. It was just waste of time driving all the way here. We also intended to purchase some cakes, but the place did not sell any. Would recommend avoiding the restroom for safety reasons. There better coffee shops you could spend your hard-earned money.

A great coffee spot. The cafe has a lovely, very cosy interior. They offer really good coffee and some yummy cakes. Their vintage coffee cups are just too cute. They also have a great aperol spritz.

A lovely little cafe with great coffee and a small selection of breakfast pastries. Served on antique chinaware which is nice. Sit and watch the trams pass and listen to the sounds of the antique cups and plates being gently hand washed. Highly recommended!

SO nice. Absolutely delicious, flaky-yet-chewy croissants, delicious and beautiful, varied cakes, excellent coffee, careful, elegant presentation of the food, and friendly, pleasant, attentive service from English-speaking staff. Nice atmosphere, too. Tiny, cozy neighborhood place. Seems like it draws lots of regulars. Can only recommend most highly.

The Franz Xaver Messerschmidt cafe in Bratislava is a popular spot for both locals and tourists. Named after the renowned baroque sculptor, the cafe offers a variety of delicious Slovakian cakes and coffee, including the traditional Bratislavske rozky pastry rolls. Visitors can also admire examples of F.X.'s work while enjoying their drinks. The cafe features a lovely outdoor seating area with great views and a pleasant interior.
A very nice bakery with plenty of options for continental or local tastes. Appropriate for breakfast, brunch, meals of any time during the day. The staff is polite and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is cozy as the interior is well preserved and beautiful.

Haven’t had the chance to sit and dine at Franz Xaver Messerschmidt yet, but we’ve stopped by twice just for their cakes — and they were excellent. We tried the Sacher Torte and the chocolate almond cake, and both were spot on. The Sacher had just the right sweetness and a moist texture, while the almond cake was a bit less sugary but perfectly balanced. Easily among the best we’ve tried in the area. The interior looks charming and historic, adding to the café’s old-world appeal. Looking forward to coming back someday to try more from their menu.

Very nice and characteristics place, full of history for Bratislava lovers. Also drinks and cakes are very good and tasty. Ideal for coffee break or late brunch. This place has good atmosphere and personnel try to be attentive and satisfy client's needs. It's a must stop for everybody. 😋 ☕ 🥐

Good place to have a quick coffee. They have a corretto which was a shot of espresso with amaretto. It was very lovely!

Great place for coffee and lemonade. Both at very cheap and reasonable prices. The café is located just outside the most touristed part of town, so the prices are lower and there are generally less people here. The melon and grapefruit lemonade is greatly recommended: A litre of it quickly disappears, that's how delicious it is!

They have one of the best ice creams in town. Especially sated caramel and they have really good cones. The coffee shop is also nice but their service needs improvement.

Matsu Premium Tea & Coffee is a Japanese-inspired cafe with two locations in Bratislava. The owners, Veronika and her Japanese husband Kaoru, offer a unique atmosphere to relax with various drinks and snacks. Visitors can enjoy matcha tea or latte along with other beverages like cappuccinos, lattes, passionfruit soda, and watermelon shakes.
I love this place and I visit regularly – the beautiful green and natural interior is so inviting. The place focuses on matcha-based products but also offers a variety of other options. The coffee is excellent, along with its creative alternatives. Although the food menu is smaller, it’s well-curated and specialized, including breakfast options, lunch, and various cakes. I appreciate how they’re always coming up with new ideas or seasonal specials. It’s a pleasant and peaceful spot to spend time ❤️.

Fantastic! Having tried many different places for coffee in Bratislava, no one comes close to Matsu premium tea & coffee in terms of quality. I had the Matcha-latte 🍵 for the first time and it was the best. The Pecan maple bread was also well-baked and every bite made every penny worth it! The best part was the service. I had an amazing experience from the great service provided by Frederika and I’m definitely going to come back here. My Ratings: 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We came here twice in our 3 days in Bratislava because it was so nice. Best tasting matcha I've had in a caffe! The matcha cookie was to die for and my boyfriend loved the coffee also. The interior is so cozy, lots of plants and the vibe is great. Everyone is very nice and warm. Can't reccomend this place enough!

I visited this place with my friend, and had the greatest time. The matcha was phenomenal, the latte art on it is literally beautiful (I felt so bad stirring it). You can get free water as well. The interior is cozy, and has a lot of plants. This is my go to place to get good quality matcha in Bratislava.

Had the matcha latte and vegan dark chocolate brownie, both great! The latte was creamy and the taste of matcha balanced, while the brownie was fudgy and truly delicious. Coupled with friendly service and a lovely interior, this is a place worth visiting.

Lovely little gem in Bratislava centrally located, we enjoyed the atmosphere and my matcha was delicious, took down a star in the food section as even thou my matcha was warm (i dont like it hot) my wife's cappuccino was cold, very tasty but cold. We didn't eat but overall was a lovely friendly coffee shop.

This is one of my favourite spots in Bratislava. Just love it. Great matcha latte, mouth-watering matcha cookie - this is happiness indeed. The place is nice and cozy. The atmosphere helps you to feel comfortable and relaxed. Inside the coffee shop there are a lot of green plants and flowers which helps your brain to get rest after a busy day. Matsu is offering a good quality teas and coffees. You can also buy some products to prepare your matcha at home.

Really cool place to drink coffee in the area with a lot of plants and unique vibe. I can’t complain about the coffee, which was great and definitely one of the best in Bratislava. Cake was just average, but we came primarily for coffee and therefore weren’t disappointed. Recommended :) Credit cards accepted 💳

Great coffee and tasty cakes! Located in quiet street whit nice green trees! Also inside is nice and cozy.
Antti K — Google review
This place caught me off guard. So aesthetically pleasing, I didn't even know it was possible! The three girls working there were so laid back, so attentive and the absolute nicest! They have wide varieties of specialty coffee and different brewing methods, and they have different specials each day. The coffee was delicious, but so were their desserts, in this case a mango cheesecake and a carrot cake. Their prices were REALLY fair for what they serve you, and I really can't get over the fact that they took the time and thought to put tampons in the women's bathroom. When I come back to Bratislava I'm RUNNING to this place right after arriving.

This place feels as if it was in Berlin. Very stylish interior with lots of plants and books. Excellent coffee and they even have vegan options on the menu. 4 local craft beers on tap, lots of gin&tonics. Cakes were delicious. Extra points for their amazing indie playlist. This is a very cool spot.

Excellent Caffè. It's easy to find just on the main street of the Stein complex. Once inside you are greeted by a modern fairly small space. It has a similar theme to all of the Stein complex. Coffee itself is great, if you like a bit of bitterness and sourness. But you can choose another blend if you prefer. So in conclusion, great space, service and coffee. Worth visiting.

Great coffee shop with a high quality specialty coffee. Good option for a weekend catch up with friends and an option for a to go coffee because there is an amazing park next to it. Very easy to access, and the staff was very friendly.
Tijana S — Google review
Kicking of our coffee tour of Slovakia, we started at Triplefive. The best tasting coffee we had in Slovakia. I tried one of their beans from Chiang Mai, and was hit with some intense fruity flavours. Would definitely recommend for any serious coffee lovers in Bratislava!
Jack C — Google review
a little story to share about this place: we were about to go tonother brunch place. passed by decided to taste their speciality coffees (tanzania & ethiopia both very good) and then an egg spread bread jumped into attention. well what shall we say ... when you crave for a thick creamy eggspread bread, you crave for a thick creamy eggspread bread ... needless to say it was thoroughly satisfying happy food 💞
Wolfgang W — Google review
Amazing coffee not too far away from the Bratislava centre. The coffee itself is a good enough reason to have a walk and visit this place. The Cinnamon Rolls were a bit too chewy, but they were tasty. The music was great and the people that work here are nice and kind. Would definitely recommend this place to all the coffee lovers.
Goran G — Google review
I got my coffee from Triplefive since it was the closest coffee place to our hotel. The coffee was good at a fair price and the staff was very friendly. You can get take away coffee and stroll through the park across the street, that's a nice bonus.

Stumbled upon this gem of a coffee shop on our visit to Bratislava and it's been our favourite coffee shop of our trip! Set next to a public park, it has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The vegan Paris cake was unbelievably delicious and the staff were super accommodating and lovely. I recommend their iced coffee menu on a hot day.

Great coffee and quiet place next to the park.

Highly recommended cafe, the coffees are roasted by Triple five themselves, in Bratislava. There is a selections of delicious homemade cakes, comfortable seating and cozy atmosphere. Prices are standard for Bratispava and an a fine day…like everyday, one can take your coffee to go and sit in the Presidential palace which is across the road. As you can see my cappuccino is finished…it was great!

Otto is a regional cuisine bistro founded by Robo, one of the co-founders of Humbuk. It was created to fill the void in town for a place that reflects their values. The restaurant offers delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff who are accommodating to all guests. The menu features dishes like Muhammara and Homemade Potato Gnocchi served with seasonal accompaniments. The decor is beautiful and the staff work together seamlessly.
Great environment, simple, artistic, not overdone. For each week day there are 4 items on the lunch menu, we tried all or them for Friday - Italian bean soup, beef broth soup, chilli con carne and goat cheese salad, and all of them was as well balanced as the decore. The same goes for the service - kind, funny and attentive, but not overbearing. All in all absolutely loved it! Edit: Went for breakfast and had a great time again. Eggs Bwnedict and the blueberry pancakes were both spot on! Coffee was superb!
Lora B — Google review
Very cozy place with superb food, drinks and service! Egg dishes were spectacular. Pancakes not too sweet, but flavourful and fresh - great option for breakfast. Grilled cheese with kimchi was another highlight - highly recommend.

One of the best Turkish eggs I’ve had and the sourdough was also fresh and crispy. Nice presentation, cozy minimalistic vibes and the staff was friendly. We came on a busy Sunday morning but got a table rather quickly.
Noémi Á — Google review
Love the excellent food, the informal atmosphere, and the fast, friendly staff : it’s the kind of place that instantly puts you in a good mood 😋 I discovered it during a business trip to Bratislava when one of my colleagues insisted on taking me there for lunch since apparently, it’s the local favourite. She was right (and thankfully also wise enough to book a table, because this place gets packed : always a good sign!). From the first bite to the last sip, everything was spot on. Fresh, flavorful, and served with a smile. No wonder the locals keep it a secret for themselves 😉 If you’re in Bratislava and want great food without the stiff formality, this spot is an absolute must-try. 🍽️ Friendly vibe, full plates, and zero pretentiousness, just how I like it!
Laura F — Google review
A great place for breakfast and coffee, it is a nice neighborhood coffee shop. We had eggs, bread, cheese, sausage, pea spread on bread. All were tasty and comforting. Service was nice and efficient
Chelle T — Google review
Otto! in Bratislava was where we stopped for breakfast, and it turned out to be a solid choice. The coffee was good, the breakfast tasty, and the location right in the city center made it even better—I love starting the day in the middle of all the city buzz. The only downside was that it was a bit noisy for a morning work meeting, but for a casual breakfast in the heart of Bratislava, it’s a really nice spot.
Svetlana M — Google review
A favorite in Bratislava! The vibes are immaculate, you can sit outside or inside, service is friendly, food is delicious and decently priced. I enjoyed a pasta of the day with vodka sauce, stracciatella, pesto and almonds, along with a fragola spritz. Recommend!

Loved the eggs here. Tried both the scrambled and the Turkish. The scramble was very velvety (but would offer a bit of butter for the delicious bread) and the Turkish had the perfect amount of flavour for my taste and for a breakfast!

Blue Mondays Coffee Roasters is a top choice for coffee enthusiasts in Bratislava. Visitors rave about their excellent flat white and the option to customize the flavor profile of their coffee. The prices are reasonable, and they offer vegan milk alternatives at a very affordable extra cost. The recent expansion into a charming garden area adds to the appeal of this brilliant little coffee place.
This place is much bigger than you think, seating both out front, inside & out the back! Loved the chill vibe in here and the different range of coffee (you can buy beans here too!) We both had an espresso, crossiant and sandwhich. Food was good & coffee was very enjoyable as well. Would recommend for a morning tea or afternoon pick me up!
Jade C — Google review
Blue Mondays Coffee Roasters in Bratislava delivers an exceptional café experience that rivals the best spots in Los Angeles. The vibe is effortlessly cool—minimalist, stylish, and buzzing with creativity, just like a trendy LA coffee house in Silver Lake or Echo Park. We ordered a latte and cappuccino, both made with expertly roasted beans that were full-bodied and aromatic. The coffee was smooth, rich, and clearly crafted with passion. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the warm, welcoming feel. If you love quality coffee and chill aesthetics, this place is a must-visit. Their beans alone are worth the trip!
Praneet R — Google review
I’ve been to Blue Mondays a couple of times and it’s one of my favourite coffee spots in Bratislava. The coffee is excellent. Rich, high quality and full of flavour. Their iced coffees and iced matchas are very smooth. Iced latte, especially, is 10/10. I also tried the pastrami and pickle sandwich, which was thick and a generous portion. The quality of both drinks and food is high.
Thomas W — Google review
cute coffee shop a bit out of the centre! no decaf but the matcha latte and poppyseed cake were good. clean bathroom and nice vibey atmosphere.

Coffee? Immaculate. The beans they sell on site are top-notch and super reasonably priced. I had a vegan matcha latte with coconut milk. In the beginning it was a bit bitter, but once I gave it a good stir it balanced out beautifully. The vibe is definitely here as well. Honestly, I’m already looking for a reason to come back just to swing by again ;)

Had a brunch here on 29.08.2025. The place has a beautiful jungle-style interior and a very cozy, atmospheric vibe. Portions are huge! It was my son’s 18th birthday – we celebrated with a mom-and-son brunch, which was honestly my dream. We even brought our own cake, and the staff kindly allowed us to have it there. We ordered a Breakfast Burger, Bacon Benedict, and 2 cappuccinos. The bill was €37.50, but it was absolutely worth it considering the quality and the size of the portions. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and spoke good English, which made everything smooth and easy. ✨ Absolutely recommend!

Super nice waiters, food was amazing, and the drinks were SUPER good. The matcha was very very good, recommend it to everyone. It is a bit pricey though, so if you are looking for a cheap spot, this isn't it. Also they do have a small menu, they could have more options so if you're vegetarian or vegan don't come here.

Zylinder Cafe Restaurant in Bratislava takes you back to the days of Pressburg, with its Austro-Hungarian Empire charm. The classic decor and friendly staff create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of meat dishes like goulash, pork ribs, and oxtail alongside vegetarian options. Despite its traditional feel, the restaurant maintains a modern touch with trendy culinary creations from talented chefs.
Had a great experience here. I had the pork in aspic and the dumplings and both were very good. The pork in aspic was definitely a much different style of food than I’m used to but I was pleasantly pleased with it. The dumplings on the other hand were incredible with the goat cheese and crispy pork on the top, it was a mash up of incredible foods. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and if you are making a trip to Bratislava, I highly recommend making a reservation!

Food is fantastic although the service is not as good. Anyway back to the food - I know all of the dishes I took there from lots of different places. I eat them a lot and I really love them and their approach to the seasoning of all of them is amazing. I’ve never had as delicious versions of the dishes I tested as the ones I got there! Tatar is just incredible! Even if someone is not a fan, you should try it - even share it but it’s worth it, really! ❤️

A nice little restaurant in a beautiful area, very beautiful and peaceful. The food and the coffee was good, the first time in ages I found marrowbone in a restaurant! Taste of good old times. Excellent authentic local food typical for the melting pot of cultures that is Bratislava. Slovak, Hungarian, Austrian, whatever you choose from the menu, you can't go wrong. We keep coming back for years and we have never been disappointed. Try Bryndzové Halušky, the traditional potato dough dumplings with the unique Slovak fresh sharp sheep bryndza cheese, or the mushroom pörkölt, or the Schnitzel, I guarantee you'll be coming back for more.

Lovely experience on the historic Michalska ulica, with a beautiful view of St. Michael's Gate and great people-watching. We had breakfast here about two weeks ago, and last night we came back for some nighttime drinks. Food is mediocre for the price. Enjoy Bistro currently has a 3 Aperol Spritz for the price of 2 deal. The cocktails are a bit diluted compared to other places, but we’re really here for the amzing evening atmosphere. Service is good. We’re giving this place 5 stars purely for the experience of the wonderful feeling of being surrounded by history while enjoying modern life.

Absolutely love this place. Service is friendly and welcoming; cats are super cute and warm to the touch. Got the pistachio milkshake, lotus latte and cheesecake; all were good! They also give back stories for the cats that they have, which is nice to read about. Must visit in Bratislava for cat enthusiasts!

What a wonderful couple of hours l spent today in Macafé. I was greeted warmly as a sat on a comfortable sofa style seat in the corner of the cafe, and ordered a Latte and toasted cheese, both were delicious. When l arrived the cats were mostly asleep on chairs, cat beds and nooks and crannies around the spacious cafe.. they started to wake more as the cafe got a little busier, they were receptive to strokes and an odd cuddle too. All the cats looked well cared for, the owner Marcel and the staff team clearly love the kitties. Marcel the owner is a busy man, but still made time to chat with me about cats, our respective countries and our passion for animal welfare, lovely man. This cafe is on the way to the castle, it's totally worth stopping for some food, drink and cat cuddles... You can also buy cute merchandise in the cafe to support them. Prices were definitely reasonable, and the ambiance was great!

Absolutely our highlight of the trip! Very friendly staff and the space is so neatly organised. The cats are all rescue cats and they tell you their story behind it. We tried the pumpkin chocolate and it was so yummy 😋
Xiao C — Google review
The cats are obviously comfortable and have plenty of spots to hide from the crowd if they wish to. Prices are fair, and the place although is crowded has such an amazing atmosphere as everyone is respectful with the cats and doesn’t bother them too much!
Eszter L — Google review
The café has only six cats — or fortunately, just six cats. They are very relaxed and friendly. During our visit, two of the cats, Žabka and Karamel, mostly slept, while the other four were very active and sociable, especially Timko and Kubik. Frida even let herself be carried around, while Izzy preferred to hide. By the way, if you want to get to know the cats, their names and life stories are listed on the last pages of the menu. You shouldn’t expect too much interaction since there are only a few cats and not all of them want to be with visitors at all times. However, the cats have drinking fountains and a private retreat where no visitors can go. The staff are exceptionally kind and communicative, and service is fast and friendly. Since there’s no entrance fee, the prices for drinks and food are moderate. We highly recommend the cheesecake. The atmosphere is very calm, relaxed, familial, and chill. The cats even know who their favorite humans are, so we were able to hold, cuddle, and hug a few of them — but note, this isn’t allowed for everyone, neither by the cats nor the staff. Children under 12 are fortunately not allowed in, or only with their parents. Feeding the cats is also not permitted to avoid overfeeding. Overall, it’s a very caring, attentive, and cat-friendly café where the well-being of the cats clearly comes first.

Very cozy place, the cats are well behaved and very friendly, even with children. The coffee is great, the staff is friendly and speaks English as well. Bistro St. Germain is the perfect spot for a delicious breakfast in the heart of the city. We tried the breakfast sandwich filled with a fluffy omelette, quality ham, cheddar cheese, and fresh salad – a combination that will delight any breakfast lover. The scrambled eggs on crispy sourdough bread were cooked to perfection – soft, creamy, and full of flavor. To drink, we enjoyed a refreshing mimosa made with pineapple juice, which paired beautifully with our meal. We finished with two ristrettos, rich in aroma and perfectly balanced in taste. Great food, friendly service, and an excellent location make Bistro St. Germain a place worth returning to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for the best breakfast in Bratislava.

Literally got sick eating here. After finishing my pastrami sandwich which I left in half because I thought something tasted weird. In my house I threw up what I just ate. I don’t know what cleanliness or food quality they have, clearly something is way off. Ambience is good. Service is bad waitress are kind, but they are extremely over work with tables. There are many good coffee shops in BA. But clearly, this is not one of them. For your wallet and health don’t go there.

Vegan restaurant
Balans Bistro, located in a cozy spot in Bratislava's alley, offers a completely vegan menu with daily specials and fixed options. Despite its small size, the bistro's delicious burritos, burgers, and quesadillas make it stand out as the best vegan eatery in Bratislava. The classic Balans burger is particularly recommended for its great flavors. In addition to food, the bistro also serves craft beers and vegan desserts.
Our first food after arriving in Slovakia and it did not disappoint! The Halusky was super tasty, I wish I could come back and have it again. I love how as a vegan I could still try traditional Slovakian dishes The only downside is that this dish is the only soy-free one, which was disappointing for my partner who has a soy intolerance

Highly impressed by the quality of desserts here. It's the perfect place for a late lunch after exploring Bratislava. The city is great for vegans and this is a must visit.
Dani B — Google review
Nice restaurant with friendly waitresses, we had to wait 40-45min for our food, we didn't mind but it is on the long side. The food was very good, hot and fresh. We ordered the potato dumplings. Soft texture with a nice chew and a creamy sauce. Surprising the vegan bacon and caramelized apple topping made this dish complete, great combination.

Lovely place, kind staff, great food + good books. The fries are just like home (or better...). Absolutely recommended - even I'm not vegan.
Faziretta F — Google review
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in this neck of the woods. The place itself is cozy and very welcoming, the service is superb, and of course the food! The food was just perfect. I had a Balans burger and my wife had a marble steak dish. We also got a poke bowl for our toddler but ended up eating it all ourselves since she’s a super picky eater and only settled for a piece of tofu. The burger was great, maybe a bit too salty to my taste, but the homemade apple chutney was a great addition to it. However, what really stole the show was the steak dish. Such a simple combination of ingredients but such a perfect balance of flavors! The poke bowl was also absolutely delicious. Next time we go to Bratislava, we eat at Balans Bistro.
Eva K — Google review
We had a really great lunch here. We tried the meatless meatballs and a sandwich ~ both totally delicious! They also serve good coffee and desserts: tiramisu was ok, kremšnita was ok but marlenka stole the show! Staff is really attentive and sweet and the place looks amazing!
Iris B — Google review
The vegan burger at Balans Bistro was absolutely delicious! We arrived around 6:15 pm and managed to place our order shortly before the kitchen closed. Despite the late hour, the service was quick, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food to arrive. I thoroughly enjoyed the vegan burger—it was flavorful and satisfying. However, I’d suggest serving it on a flat plate, as it would make eating it more convenient. We also tried the burrito, which, unfortunately, wasn’t as impressive. It was a bit soggy, and the ketchup flavor overpowered the other ingredients, which I didn’t enjoy much. On the brighter side, it’s great to have a vegan restaurant nearby that offers such options. The lemongrass lemonade was refreshing, though I personally would have preferred it to be slightly sweeter. Overall, it was a good experience, and I look forward to returning to try more from their menu!

A lovely coffee shop with cozy and relaxing ambience and interesting decorations which is on the second floor of a book store. The staff were very friendly with good English and they also provided us with an English menu. They have a great selection of coffee and drinks. The coffee was very good and I really like the hot lemonade I ordered.

Great way to start the day if you ask me, combining breakfast and books. The cozy café is inside the bookstore, which is reallyyyy big. The tables are nice, and some in the middle are equipped with plugs so perfect to work from there. We saw a few customers having meetings, no problem 👌🏻 They have a few menus in English to make it easier. The price was a bit high. The waitress was very nice and gave us some water before we even started. The drinks and food we had was super. Just a small pity that it is running out quickly, we wanted to order four croissants, and they had already only three left 🥐 A thingy that made me smile, if you have to go to the toilet, don’t try opening the door (and look like a fool lol)…you have to ask for a key.

Its a coffee place inside of one of the biggest bookstore of Bratislava. Nice atmosphere. There is a good decoration. You can buy a book and enjoy a delicious coffee, tea or cold drink. There is some delicious desserts like cheesecake. Good customer service. A girl served us and she was very kind and she speaks good English. She served us water before we order something to drink. One of the best espresso in Slovakia so far. Matcha drinks and hot chocolate are really tasty! (I normally hate on matcha, but here it's ❤️‍🔥). I love the calm atmosphere of the place. It is made for a small group of friends or for a coffee with just yourself. Laptop friendly! Be sure they will not mind charging your phone:) Big thanks to the team of baristas, girls are always friendly and smily. Cousy coffee shop hidden in an alley of the main road. Atmosphere: relaxed and quiet. Good to escape the hustle of the city center. Enjoyed a cappuccino, espresso macchiato & lungo coffee. Staff friendly & service was good. Coffee quality & taste was really good. Loss of stars due to the coffee being served to cold for my taste.

Lovely hidden place, you need to go through gate and entrance is from there. I was there alone, just two more customers showed up later. But quiet place with awesome coffee even had soy milk. Scrumptious 'bábovka' and good music (Chopin was on playlist - the waitress tried to match it to my book reading. That prog rock before was ok too though). Definitely will return.

One of my favorite places in Bratislava, this space is gorgeous. Very airy with lots of windows and high ceilings. They have a huge selection of hot drinks, lemonades and wines. Plus lots of cakes and a menu full of veggie and vegan options. Warning: they only cook until 8pm (maybe temporarily?)

Great place for a coffee & cake break. There is a playground corner for kids to play. Fresh cakes from the glassmonter, better to select there than from menu and they taste good, recommended. Craft beer available on the menu but it said "ask the waiter for info" so i asked what kind they had if it was IPA or APA (the 2 listed as choices) she didn't know so i asked how much it costs and she didn't know, I ordered it anyway and it was a pretty good IPA. Coffee comes with a small crispy sweet stick, like an edge of a cookie.

WOW: this place rocks! First and Foremost: coffee beans well selected, perfectly extracted and presented. A proper coffee house experience ::: and then I found the cake of my life ::: Eastern Europe used to run on poppy and lately those little black dots are making a comeback in homemade and well baked Bratislava horn’s and strudels varieties. However Berlinka’s cafe own bakers elevated poppy seeds to 21st century with their fabulous MAKOVÁ TORTA .. it is rich and light, poppy dark with a strip of golden light of gelatine in the middle. ~~~ Wonderful smiling and helpful staff. Elegant interior with an industrial touch. Fantastic views of Danube.. and absolutely amazing light for selfies! THANK YOU

It's a warm and artistic place in the center of Bratislava city. Nice and tasteful menu. I would recommend it for somebody to visit it.

This place is super classy and elegant. The coffee is amazing and the food was pleasant. The reason I’m only giving this place 3 stars is because I had a bit of an unpleasant experience here. When I arrived, there was a homeless person hanging around at their outdoor seating which I was uncomfortable with and had to go sit inside to feel a bit more safe (I was on my own at that time). Then as we were about to finish up, a different homeless guy walked up to our table and started speaking to us loudly. After a while, it was clear he didn’t want to leave us alone so I had to get a staff member to help. I’m so happy that the cafe staff did help almost immediately but it left us feeling very unsettled. Having said that, I will go back there again (but not alone) because the staff stepped in when asked and it is a really nice place to chill out.

Panenská kaviareň, named after the street it's located on, is a charming spot in Bratislava. It's known as one of the best places for breakfast in the city, offering a variety of options including porridges, filled croissants, and open sandwiches. The cafe also provides vegan choices with creative flavor combinations.
I have to say this was my favorite breakfast spot in Bratislava! I found it accidentallx and I’m so happy that I did. The food was amazing also the Drinks were and the Coffee was so good!!! The price was crazy cheap compared to Austrian breakfast prices. All in all we were so happy that we went there two days in the row.

Yes they use mostly quality ingredients but if you can’t choose how your egg is cooked (even soft boiled as opposed to purple hard boiled) then they’re a bit too full of themselves and their menu for my 10 euro. As far as I know they change the menu each week, so maybe you’ll get lucky and come on a day when they make eggs the way you like them. The flat white was fine, on the bitter side of the specialty coffee tracks.

Aleksandar S — Google review
Small cozy place for the breakfast and brunch. They have a couple of options of savory and sweet food. We had brioche with boiled egg and feta and toast with smashed eggs and parm and additional avocado. The egg on the toast was pretty weird, it was like a chopped egg with mayo(?), also, they mentioned that every toast comes with a salad, but we got only a few grapes instead. Also, both meals were over salted. Coffee was tasty. I wish they had just scramble eggs, it would be much better

Amazing place very close to the train station. This is very convenient bite before travelling as it opens its doors at 8am. We spend 20€ for that lovely breakfast and we were full for hours. So happy to find this place! This is the perfect place for sitting with a laptop for a while. The coffee is great and everything is very reasonable priced. I was very happy that they have soya milk. Sweet Beans Coffee x Roastery is a popular spot in the city, known for its delicious hot beverages and outstanding espresso. The interior design is modern and comfortable, although some feel that it lacks a certain charm. The small space is best suited for smaller groups, but the quality of the coffee and pastries makes it worth a visit. Customers rave about the excellent drip/filtered coffee options, particularly highlighting the unique Columbian Lychee roast.
Good coffee, beans and pastry. Look at the cardamon bun, it is so beautiful. But a little dry though. The staff is really nice! They offered this stamp card so we can buy 5 get 1 free. I have visited other coffee shops, only sweat beans offered it voluntarily.

Sweet Beans Coffee Roastery in Bratislava is a hidden treasure for coffee lovers! We ordered a café latte, cappuccino, and their unique pistachio Cinnabon—and every bite and sip was exceptional. The coffee was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, clearly roasted with care. The pistachio Cinnabon was unlike anything we’ve tasted—soft, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better. You can tell they’re passionate about what they do. Sweet Beans Coffee x Roastery is a brilliant little find in Bratislava. I had the Espresso Bumble - a surprising yet refreshing mix of orange soda and double espresso - and somehow, it just worked. We also tried the Matcha Cloud, another cold drink, and a pistachio-hued croissant that was as tasty as it looked. The café itself is tucked inside what seems to be a converted tunnel, giving it a unique, cozy vibe. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere warm, and the coffee and pastries were absolutely worth it. Highly recommended for a quality coffee stop.

Arabeska bistro, located in Bratislava, offers a wide variety of authentic Arab and Middle Eastern dishes, including unique specials. The restaurant boasts a nice contemporary Arabic interior and a welcoming atmosphere. Customers praise the friendly staff and the delicious, fresh food. While some find the seating less comfortable, others appreciate the overall value for money. The Sambousik Jibneh appetizer is described as tasty but with too much dough compared to filling.
This place is definitely going to be my go-to spot from now on. The food is absolutely delicious – a solid 10/10 for taste. The bistro itself is cozy and welcoming, and I really appreciate that they also have some good vegetarian options. I tried the Musakhan Dajaj and it was outstanding – the chicken was incredibly juicy and tender, perfectly balanced with the crunch of fried almond bites. The vegetarian Arayes Jibneh was also packed with flavor and really satisfying. Overall, the food not only tastes amazing but also feels fresh and wholesome compared to many other places. Portion sizes might feel a bit light if you only order a main, but pairing it with some sides or quick bites would make it perfect. Prices are reasonable – not too high, not too low – and the service was warm and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommended!

Pros: The restaurant’s interior is super stylish and cozy. I especially loved the hanging herbs on the ceiling! The Riash Mashwi (lamb ribs) was absolutely delicious - a true chef’s kiss! Beija Flor Cafe is a charming and affordable spot located just a short 5-minute walk from the center of Old Town. It's known for its delicious omelettes that are generously filled with tasty ingredients, unlike typical restaurant omelettes. The cafe also offers Portuguese treats like 'Pastel de Nata,' providing visitors with an authentic taste of Portugal.

A good place to get breakfast or a quick caffeine fix if you are in the neighbourhood. We had breakfast once, and passed by a couple of times for coffee, because it was on the route to and from our hotel and also a cozy place to warm up. The coffee is well made. The english breakfast is a must try. We also had the avocado and scrambled eggs. Everything tasty, fresh and well presented.

A cute quaint small cafe. The ambiance was nice but there were not many tables to sit. The coffee size was tiny but that's expected. The pasteis de nata was pretty good. It was crunchy but it was definitely better in Portugal.
J H — Google review
As a former international student from Portugal, this cafe was the best way for me to feel closest to my country whilst living abroad. The pastel de nata is really good, besides a little over-priced. The Portuguese wine and coffee complete the spectrum of Portuguese cuisine there.

This is a little Portugal in Bratislava, do not confuse with a little Portugal in Coimbra. Apparently both Starbucks and Costa started a competion selling "pasteis de nata", but brave Beija Flor is fighting back with more gastronomic wonders from Lusitania. Same owner has multiple POS in Bratislava and I recommend giving him a chance to help you discovering something new and tasty.

Accidentaly found this place and they made my breakfast perfect! Scrambled eggs with avocado toast was more than enough (portion was big for me). Pastel de nata was really good, almost same as in Portugal. Even though the place is small, it makes it more cousy. Strongly recomended!

Mondieu Laboratoire is a popular coffee chain in Bratislava, with its best location situated in the old town square. Housed in a former Hungarian bank, the cafe boasts modern and inviting industrial-chic decor. It offers a classic cafe atmosphere with a mix of wicker chairs and sofas, as well as a terrace on top of Nivy centre for an enhanced experience during good weather. The menu features delicate breakfast options such as croissants, eggs, and colorful cocktails.
Must go cafe. It has amazing stuff to eat as a sweet or food. I had espresso with melted chocolate, and it was so good😋

Breakfast at Mondieu – Nivy A great brunch in a cozy and stylish setting! 🍳 The eggs Benedict on avocado toast were delicious, 🧀 the halloumi toast was rich and flavorful, 🥞 and the pancake with Nutella and cream was the perfect sweet treat. We had a Mimosa and a Coke Zero to go with it – just ideal. Everything was spot on today, such a pleasant place for breakfast or brunch. Highly recommended!

Never in my life have i tasted better food than in here. The smoothies were absolutely amazing and organic and the pancakes were delicious as well. Id also like to mention how great the customer service was. Id also like to personally thank your lovely waitress, Gretka for her astounding service. 10/10 would definitely come again. 💞
Milo R — Google review
First, the venue itself. It's decorated nicely, with a mix of wickers chairs and a few sofas for larger groups. Truly classic café climate. It also includes a terrace on top of Nivy centre, which in nice weather really adds to the experience. Leon, the waiter who served us, spoke fluent English, and while it was not necessary (since my group included a few Slovaks) it is certainly good to be able to clearly communicate in the most international language. He was professional, and was able to provide recommendations, which turned out to work out great. He also was knowledgeable about allergens, which while might seem to be basic, I know from experience not in every establishment waiters know those information. For food and drinks themselves, we ordered a mix of drinks and cakes. With one coffee, one chocolate and three cheesecakes, including one gluten-free, I believe we gained a decent sample size of their offer. First, the chocolate: I took chocolate with bananas. It was a proper hot chocolate, not just a glorified cocoa. Thick and sweet, it was an exquisite simple dessert. My colleague took espresso with chocolate. Mind You, this is an opinion of someone who usually doesn't like coffee, but she did enjoy this mix. Given it was a real hot chocolate, it was still a sweet drink, despite the usual bitterness of coffee. As for cheesecakes, my colleagues had a mix of different one, and not a single person found anything to complain about. Lemon cheesecake was sour sweet, as it was supposed to be. Delicate, and the size was what one would expect for a dessert. Coconut cheesecake was taken by a foodie in our group, and while myself I would not enjoy this choice, he did. For each it's own, I am aware that coconut is a popular flavour and many people enjoy it. His recommendation does speak in favour for me. Last but not least, the fruit cheesecake, gluten-free, was sweet, and provided good balance between fruity flavours. The only issue I would find was few gluten- and lactose- free options. Now, as for offer besides what we had a chance to taste. Mondieu offers wide variety of all-day breakfast, including pancakes, croissants and various egg based meals. Choice of drinks, especially coffee, lets me believe that everyone could find something for themselves. The place also offers some light alcoholic drinks, which make it a good choice for late afternoon stop.

Açaí smoothie = industrialised tasteless powder dissolved in warm water It should be called warm tasteless porridge and not an açaí smoothie Ordered an açaí smoothie and the appearance and taste was very disappointing It was the first time in my life I had a warm açai smoothie (It tasted like a weird porridge from the supermarket) Brownish colour (unlike the purple colour from the menu) It was supposed to be a blend of things such as açaí, banana, avocado, mango…but it tasted like some random industrialised powder dissolved in warm water 👎

Careful with the blond waitress… We paid by card (separately, which of course she didn’t like) and she charged each of us more in the card machine than what the screen was showing. If I want to give a tip, I’ll do it if I want, but don’t charge me more without asking!!!! The same happened to all my friends paying by card. The food was ok-ish.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of the city, KeP’s caffetteria is a delightful haven for coffee and pastry lovers alike. This charming spot is particularly famous for its delectable pistachio croissants, which pair perfectly with their expertly brewed cappuccinos. The inviting atmosphere makes it an ideal place to unwind alone or catch up with friends and family. Guests often praise the friendly and efficient staff who ensure that every visit feels special.
Came for the espresso and pistachio croissant and both were fresh and tasty. The staff was very friendly and prices affordable. Be wary, only cash payments are accepted here. The place is located in close proximity the city centre and very near to the trams 3, 9 leading to/from the centre of the city.
Boris V — Google review
If you like good coffee this place is not for you. The espresso is burnt, I felt I was drinking ashes with water. The cappuccino is a bit better, but far from being a good one. Pistachio croissant is ultra buttery and sweet, and pretty expensive for what it is.

Extremely cheerful and lively café, opposite to the Medical faculty. Always full of medical students from all around the World. Places are hard to find. Very nice and attentive staff. Very cheap. Three stars for coffee, but five for environment and staff.

The staff, more specifically one woman, is extremely rude and they didn’t let us pay by card. They do not have any signs that state that could warn us. In other KEP’s you have the possibility. Very disappointed.
Sofia L — Google review
Had only a coffee with my boyfriend outside, but unfortunately I had to go for a classic cappuccino because they didn't have menus anywhere outside or inside, didn't know the prices...when paying I found out that it's cash only and menu was online by QR code. Sadly I was leaving slightly irritated because of these troubles. Kind staff and coffee was good though.
Anka K — Google review
The 🥐 is the best in town, the waitress was nice and fast but decided to keep 60 cents change which is strange to me. Shouldn't the customer decide if he wants to tip? Coffee is good and the prices are also good too. My wife goes there 2 to 3 times per week. So I recommend it.

A beautiful place in the city center, and another place near the city center where you can drink coffee and eat croissants, I recommend the croissant with pistachio cream, it's best with a cappuccino. A great place to sit alone, with friends, family or business partners. The service is excellent and fast, great barista and delicious coffee. These days you order at the bar so you can take your drinks and croissants out into the garden. There on the chairs you can take blankets and cover yourself. All recommendations. Music discreet, toilet very clean. Enjoying Bratislava.

Soren is a cafe that was recently opened by a barista who previously worked at another bistro. The owner is also the baker there and creates incredibly delicious pastries. As someone who lacks baking skills, I always feel envious of their creations, especially their pastries. It's a great place to meet friends and have coffee while enjoying quality roasted beans that change regularly.
Delicious speciality coffee and cakes. Visited many times and always great, only downside is the limited space, which is good in a way, but sometimes you need to be lucky to find a free table. Recommended :) Credit cards accepted 💳

Great coffee and pastry! Stopped by the city for a day and came to get takeout before leaving. The bean they use goes well with both Americano and cortado; banana bread and blueberry danish taste really good as well. I was there with my friend after work on Friday evening. And one of the employees Enrieta put a card on our table with writing “reservation 19:00” at 18:30. She said something briefly, didn’t offer us another table and when I’ve confronted the team of being unpleasant, she started to be defensive. They’ve apologised and asked if we’ve changed the table already.👌🏻 The situation was unpleasant, evening messed up with the attitude of one of waitresses. Apparently they’ve forgotten that bar have had some reservations…which is not our problem and the service level at this point was horrible😭 BUT thanks to one of the other waitresses - Maria, who was very nice 🌸

There's also lots of seating to choose from and fast wifi. The staff are friendly and fast. I was served water right away and even brought refills during my visit. I had a latte and it tasted great. Good Times Coffee Roasters is a small and cozy coffee shop in Bratislava that has quickly gained popularity among coffee lovers. While seating is limited, the quality of their coffee is outstanding, with a focus on hip flavors rather than traditional ones. The baristas take care to inquire about your bean preferences, ensuring a personalized experience. Despite the small space and limited opening hours, patrons rave about the wonderful taste of the coffee, making it a must-visit for those seeking exceptional brews.
Decent tea and coffee, not only good times but BEST times in Bratislava. Highly recommended! Dropped by before our train schedule. There is a bus station nearby and you can easily catch a bus to Hlavna Stanica station. I had one of the best tea in my life. A must try “classic tea” if you are a floral tea lover. They also supply honey together and it goes perfect with honey. It was so good I have asked if they are selling the tea bags separately. They didn’t but he did not even hesitate and packed two of it right away and gave them to me as a little present. Such a heartwarming gesture! As foreigners, we felt so comfortable and welcome by Slovaks. We left Slovakia with such good memories. Thank you. :)

They offer wide variaty of coffee with possibility to buy beans as there is a roastery at the same place. If you like specialty coffee (and maybe some cheesecake as well), this is a place for you. Very pleasant and friendly barrista as well. 100 % recommend :) Credit cards accepted 💳

A pleasantly situated roastery with an industrial design. The noises of the machines (kinda like a background white noise) remind you that the coffee you ordered is roasted fresh just next to your seat. Espresso is obviously delicious and the food only adds to the overall great experience.

A very cute coffee shop, loved the colorful posters on the walls. Friendly staff, good vibes, lots of plants, nice coffee... wifi works. Full of light and I also liked that you can sit in the windows.

I have loyally gone multiple times a day for the best part of two months as the coffee is very good and there is no comparable place within a 1 mile radius. However, they need to improve their hospitality and people’s skills as I made a minor request to turn down the volume of the music for a little bit and was refused. There was no one else in the cafe at the time.

Great coffee, tasty treats, clean facilities, and welcoming staff. One of the best coffee places we visited while in Europe. The place is especially good for those who prefer the Third Wave coffee culture (i.e. the approach of Seattle, Melbourne, and Wellington).

Speciality coffee roastery in Bratislava. Located in industrial zone. There were 2 option on grinder. Friendly Barista recomend me one that was more fruity. Must visit place if you like industrial architecture and speciality coffee.

Excellent coffee spot in the center of Bratislava. Large windows and a wooden interior make the space bright even on a gloomy winter day. Recommend the flat white and quiche.

Diners rave about their fresh, flavorful burgers and classic pizzas, which are perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The establishment excels in accommodating dietary preferences, offering options like bunless burgers with coleslaw instead of fries. With express delivery service that has improved since its reopening, it's no wonder patrons keep coming back for more.

(Translated by Google) 7 eaters, 7 feedback. Reviewer's note: the establishment met us with full commitment - one burger without a bun and fries exchanged for coleslaw (diet reasons). It is 10* for approach, communication and relationship with the customer. Coleslaw is good. None overcomplicated. Cabbage and mayonnaise. Pizza Classic - excellent "classic" exactly what one expects. Pleasantly seasoned, properly cooked, the edges were not dry. Just a nice Sunday meal. 4.8* Chicken wrap - pleasantly satisfying. "Nothing extra" but exactly what we were looking for. Satisfying, good portion, balanced flavors, no wildness or experiments with sauces. 4.8* Pizza Americano - it was good. A little too much oil, so the thin dough was a little wet, but that's due to the sausage and bacon 😁. The mutton horns balanced the fat, but I might have sliced them. 4.5* Burger Anaricano - comfort ☺️ nothing world-shattering and that's how it should be. A good clean balanced burger. 4.8* Pizza Hawaii - it was excellent, crispy dough, juicy pineapple, met all expectations ☺️ 5* Pulled pork with fries - excellent, but the meat was not "pulled" enough. Rip more! 😆 4.5* Naked cheese burger - without bun - exactly what you expected ☺️ I really enjoyed it and I didn't miss anything 5* (Original) 7 jedákov, 7 spätných väzieb . Poznámka recenzenta: podnik nám vyšiel v ústrety s plným nasadením - jeden burger bez žemle a hranolky vymenené za coleslaw (dôvody diéty). Za prístup, komunikáciu a vzťah so zákazníkom je 10*. Coleslaw je dobrý. Žiadne prekomplokované. Kapusta a majonéza. Pizza Classic - výborne "classic" presne čo človek očakáva. Príjemné dokorenená, správne prepečená, okraje neboli suché. Proste príjemné nedeľné jedlo. 4.8* Kurací wrap - príjemne uspokojivé. "Nič extra", ale presne to sme hľadali. Sýty, dobrá porcia, vyvážené chute, žiadna divočina či experimenty s omáčkami. 4.8* Pizza Americano - dobra bola. Trochu veľa oleja, teda to tenké cesto bolo trošku mokré, ale to je dané klobásou a slaninou 😁. Baranie rohy balancovali mastnotu, no možno by som ich nakrajal. 4.5* Burger Anaricano - pohoda ☺️ nič svetoborné a tak to má byť. Dobrý čistý vyvážený burger. 4.8* Pizza Hawaii - bolo to výborné, chrumkavé cesto, ananás šťavnatý, splnilo všetky očakávania ☺️ 5* Trhané bravčové s hranolkami - výborné, no mäso nebolo dostatočne "pulled". Trhaj viac! 😆 4.5* Naked cheese burger - bez žemle - presne čo čom čakal ☺️ veľmi som si pochutnal a nič mi nechýbalo 5*

If you find yourself wandering through Bratislava, make sure to stop by Coffee Beans - Kaviareň a smoothie. This charming little café is conveniently located near the FlixBus station, making it an ideal pit stop for travelers. The cozy atmosphere invites you to relax while enjoying expertly crafted coffee made from 100% Arabica beans. The owner is not only passionate about coffee but also shares valuable insights on health and wellness, enhancing your experience even further.
This small shop on the corner is just what I needed today. It’s right next to the FlixBus station. They use fresh ingredients, and the whole vibe is very cozy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area or traveling through. This is definitely one of many reasons to come back to Bratislava.

Triple Five Coffee Roasters - Cafe 2 is a popular spot in Bratislava known for its top-quality coffee and inviting atmosphere. The roastery meticulously selects the finest coffee beans from around the globe, ensuring a rich and robust flavor with each sip. Visitors praise the excellent coffee and enjoy the beautiful new space, making it a top cafe in town.
A must visit for any remote worker. It is very spacious and cozy. There is just enough light and really good and comfortable places. Coffee is top notch. Food selection is limited but sufficient. Sandwiches are a good option for a mid day snack, and there is a home made banana bread for a bit of sweetness. Tiramisu looked amazing but I did not try it. Overall, highly recommend this for a visit and work station.
Tijana S — Google review
Slightly above average coffee for Bratislava in general but as for the third wave coffee standard it’s lagging behind. The roasting choice on the beans was just far too aggressive and the milkwork wasn’t smooth enough to balance it out. I’d give the flat white a 7.8.
Lift_Run_Eat_ — Google review
They make really great coffee, beans from their own roastery. They also have many snacks - lots of cakes and some sandwiches (also some vegan options). They have oat milk. I liked the spacious interior with large windows. You have to order at the bar and they will bring your order to the table. Would say this could be a good spot to do some laptop work.

Dobre & Dobré is a café in the historic Old Market Hall that is run by a local NGO that employs homeless people as part of its social inclusion programme. The cafe has large, bright windows and a bohemian Parisian style, making it a popular spot for coffee and tea. The cafe also has great food and an atmospheric setting with a lady playing piano.
The interesting fact about this coffee shop is that it's run by Vagus non-profit organization helping people without home return back to life. So, the personal came from street doing the best they can to serve you a cup of coffee. They are very friendly with pure hearts. Sometimes mess something and get serious about that, which make funny moments and it's unique atmosphere. You will love the place for sure.
Milan B — Google review
This is one of my favorite places in Bratislava, I really like the interior with extra high ceilings and pretty dark green curtains. They offer typical Pressburg menu, everything I ever had here was good and the prices are reasonable. Their only problem is the service - sometimes you’ll have to wait quite long to get served.

The Apartments Presidential Palace, located in the heart of Bratislava, offers a great value for money and is within walking distance to all basic amenities. The Guard of Honour at the nearby Presidential Palace represents the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic and participates in various ceremonial events. Guests have enjoyed their stay with first-class service, delicious homemade food, and convenient recommendations from the owner. It's recommended for independent travelers looking for a well-located and comfortable accommodation option.
Great location. Right in heart of Bratislava. Gods value for money. Has all the basic amenities and everything is in walking distance. We also had a free pick up from the owner because we stayed so many nights. He also pointed us in the right direction for haluski. Would recommend for the shrewd independent traveller.

Very small room , nosy neighbourhood at the morning , it is only for 2 days stay not more. To expensive for the facilities that offer. Good communication with the owner.
Christos E — Google review
The worst place I have ever stayed! - The money (160eur for 4 days) and the rating in Booking are far away from the reality. - Located on ground floor - Located on 15m away from bulevard with 5 lanes and heavy traffic 24 hours - Constant noise 24 from the traffic and passing people (in the night drunk people). Also, the garbage containers are just under the window and there is noise when people use them or in early morning they are flushed in the garbage truck. Your windows are also next to the front door of the building. - There is no air-conditioning. At the beginning of June the temperature in the afternoons was reaching over 30 degrees and the windows are pointing South! - There is smell of the canalization in the small bathroom. - Because of the heat and the smell you have to keep the windows opened 24 hours, but the noise just kills any attempts to rest. - The apartment is originally one big apartment on the ground floor which was splitted into 2 very small rooms with tiny bathrooms ("studios") made without a project for it. The bathroom in studio 2 has the door splitting it in 2 parts and to reach the sink you must step aside and close the door and then again step to the sink this time. The splitting was done with plasterboard wall that is very bad soundproofed and you hear any small noise from the next "studio". - Everything in the "studio" is minimalistic and done as cheap as possible. - E.g. the shower cabin's door was broken and the owner "fixed" the problem with buying a curtain from IKEA for a few euros. The holder in the shower cabin is very old and dirty and even not mounted. - The "kitchen" is ridiculous! It's better without it. Everything is dirty (as it's in the bathroom) and we don't dare to use it. There is no oven - just hotplates. The only good thing is the refrigerator. There is nothing else as equipment - microwave oven or water jug. - The rest of the furnitures are cheap and exhausted. Most of them are even locked (the owners are storing their stuff inside). There is no handle in the room and in the bathroom where you can put your towels after taking a shower. There just one for hands towel in the bathroom and 2 for jackets outside the studio in front of the door where it's shared! - It's dirty everywhere. The bathroom fugues and tiles are black and dirty. The shower cabin is disgusting - not cleaned from a decade! There is even hair mixed with dirth that sticked in the edges of the floor. The lamp next to the bed had huge amount of dust and hair. - The bed is very unconfortable! The mattress and pillow are disgusting. You need a painreleases after sleeping there. The mattress has a big hole at the center, so you are sleeping under angle. Also the pillow is high which combined with the mattress angle makes you lying in very bad position. I some how slept on my wrist and it was folded in that difference of the levels and several days later it still hurts and maybe I will need to visit a doctor. The owners are constantly repeating from the beginning of 2018 that they HAVE ORDERED new mattresses and they continue say that until today which is an obvious lie. If the fix is not a cheap one, they are not gonna invest in it. - The place is full with weird messages on the walls as "the place is observed with cameras" (you don't know which part of it exactly), "if you don't wash your dishes, you will be charged for it", "if you smoke, you will be charged again". Never never go in that place! The owners are taking money for nothing and don't wish to give money for that place. I would even say "efforts" as the cleaning is not OK also!
