Uber cool & trendy cafe away from the busy touristy area - and that’s a good thing. The coffee is excellent- definitely exceeded my expectations. Loved the cool decor and the free WiFi. The place is bustling and has a lovely vibe, nice spot to chill out and relax. Service was super friendly too. Absolutely worth taking a detour here. Highly recommended

Nice coffee, friendly staff, prices all make sense. Plus they are laptop friendly and there is good inside seating plus a working toilet and nice music. I liked the semi-warm wood furnishings and vibes inside.

Interior was very tidy, staff was kind and polite and the coffee tasted absolutely delicious. Vegan milk alrernatives are also available. The cappuccino i ordered was quite expensive compared to other cafes but i think the cup/drink was also slightly bigger than regular ones. If you're around, give it a try !

As a regular coffee drinker, I personally found their iced Y a bit underwhelming - could hardly taste any coffee in my glass. The menu also didn’t make it clear that it was simply iced coffee with milk, which added to the confusion. When I mentioned this to the staff, they did offer to make another one, though I was asked to pay €3.5 for the replacement, which felt a bit unusual. A clearer description in the menu would definitely help manage expectations.

I ordered the double shot with steamed milk in Y size (200 mL). The coffee flavor was good but rather mild, for my taste. My bf got a smaller version (X, 100ml) and it definitely had a much stronger coffee taste. I would definitely order the 100ml next time. Overall, the coffee flavor is good and the milk foam is well done. Worth a visit.

Nice little coffee shop near the center. They have very tasty options on the menu and display. Their cappuccino with oat milk is very tasty. You can guy roasted beans here as well. They have a small selection of tasty deserts as well. Everything I’ve tried so far has been good. Nice spot to stop by.

Lovely, small place, you can have a coffee or cake while you are waiting for your bus. You can sit inside and outside too. The service is not the greatest, sometimes it feels the waiters don't want to be there. But the coffee is tasty.

Great place to have a coffee with cake! Or lemonade with cake. Unfortunately, it is very hard to stop eating here, so be aware:) too tasty! Small and cozy place, atmospheric and popular among tourists. Prices are reasonable - about 3-5 euros per cake. And last but not least - beautiful ladies work here, lovely and helpful. Cute place, very pleasant stuff. The cakes looked delicious. My two friends had some so I tasted. The taste was rich and interesting. Slight disadvantage for me - they were too sweet for me, but I don't eat sugar at all so I'm not representative sample of café's visitor. This is the reason why I didn't go for any. What I minded a little was too packed room for sitting. But I guess some people might it charming. In general, i recommend to visit! You will surely choose form cake offer. On a top of that, if you are tourist, the first part of café is actually souvenir shop so you can buy typical Slovak things there.

The kingdom of cakes. This place is one of our best findings! Warm personnel, excellent home-made cakes and pastries, perfect coffee, beautiful souvenirs – Zeppelin cafe is definitely an amazing spot to have a rest while enjoying some really good treats. A must-stop during your visit!

It's a nice place to have a fresh lemonade with berries or a hot coffee. Also the cakes are delicious. I always have the chocolate cake. There is good music and wifi. The staff is very nice and friendly. The staff speaks good english and there is a sweet lady that speaks fluent spanish. There is a souvenir shop that have interesting things. I highly reccomend this place. I will come back soon for some good and delicious desserts and drinks.

Absolutely charming café in the quaint Old Town of Bratislava. The outer area is more of a souvenir shop featuring local Slovak products, but the hidden gem is the cafe that lies further in. They offer tea, coffee, and incredible cakes for so much cheaper than in Vienna, yet quality is on par if not better than some of the konditorei I have visited in Vienna. Staff are lovely and attentive to our needs. As I was wondering which cake to order, a waitress suggested I have the krémes, a classic treat of creamy custard stuffed between two layers of thin fluffy pastry. It was hands down the best cake I had during my weekend trip in Vienna and Bratislava. I really enjoyed my time at Zeppelin and highly recommend checking out this little café when you visit Bratislava. Looking forward to coming back here someday.

Very nice place to enjoy yourself in. Its very cozy place with souvenirs, great cakes and pies. Also a kids section is not forgotten here. Selection of cakes is not small here, so be prepared that it will take some time, before you will choose. Recommended place and have fun time visiting there. :-)

The desserts, teas, service we had were excellent. The homemade hot tea was extremely good. It had cut fruits, honey, and spices in it. The manager came by several times to check on us. The service staff always have smiles and are cheerful and helpful. Wi-Fi is available. Multiple languages are spoken among the staff.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this restaurant and can’t give it a high rating. The food wasn’t badly prepared, but it was very ordinary, nothing special, with a simple presentation — and the prices are seriously overpriced. I ordered the small pizza with burrata and prosciutto. There was literally just one slice of prosciutto torn into pieces, and the burrata portion was tiny — not even a whole piece. The pizza sticks were basically just pieces of dough: soft and crispy, but nothing more. Four of them for €11! You can see everything in the photos. On the positive side, the food was cooked properly and tasted fine, but the portion sizes for these prices in Bratislava are just too small. The dishes are not unique or special enough to justify such costs. The interior is nice, and that’s the only reason I’m giving any stars at all. I would strongly recommend the owners reconsider their pricing policy. For now, I can’t recommend this place. Quite a shame.

Stopped by for a few cocktails shortly before closing time. The staff was very friendly and courteously informed us they would be closing soon, which we appreciated. Despite the late hour, the cocktails were delicious and beautifully presented. Great service and quality drinks - would definitely return earlier next time to enjoy more of what they offer!

WOW! This restaurant has a very nice and well decorated interior. The desserts were really good not that sweet. If I live in Bratislava I would de here every weekend.

This place has an amazing chill vibe, staff is extremely nice and helpful. We came here for breakfast/brunch, which was great. I had poached eggs, we also had omelette and shakshuka. Portions were huge, bread was delicious. They also use free range eggs.

The food was unfortunately not very tasty and didn’t quite meet my expectations. However, the atmosphere of the place was really nice and welcoming. The service girl a big difference – especially Natalie, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. Her warm and caring attitude created a very pleasant experience despite the food not being the highlight.

The food here was absolutely incredible. I had the truffle chicken with veggies and the waiter came over to grate fresh truffle on top right at the table, which was such a nice touch. They were also super accommodating with allergies, someone at our table asked for ingredient changes and everything was done exactly as requested. Our waiter, Timotej, was honestly the most charismatic server I’ve ever encountered, funny, kind, and just full of good vibes. The overall vibe is amazing, kind of disco, with lots of plants and super tasteful furniture. And the bathroom ambiance was such a fun surprise, I wasn’t expecting that at all. Oh, and the dessert? Absolutely divine.

Really slow service, lack of products, dry cakes. The coffee is good, made by an old machine, and for this I put the second star. The bar would close after 2 days in most of European countries because of security reasons, like the hidden step once you enter (we saw several people that risked to fell).

Was very crowded around 11/12h so we took a cup on the way. Device was kind and quick. The place also looked extremely cute and cozy. Inside the cafe it was very noisy. The coffee on its own was good, maybe a little sour;) Alternative milk is available here.

Had some coffes at this place today, but unfortunatelly we did Not feel, that the shop had the Basic standards we expected after reading the previous reviews. It was just waste of time driving all the way here. We also intended to purchase some cakes, but the place did not sell any. Would recommend avoiding the restroom for safety reasons. A great coffee spot. The cafe has a lovely, very cosy interior. They offer really good coffee and some yummy cakes. Their vintage coffee cups are just too cute. They also have a great aperol spritz.

A lovely little cafe with great coffee and a small selection of breakfast pastries. Served on antique chinaware which is nice. Sit and watch the trams pass and listen to the sounds of the antique cups and plates being gently hand washed. Highly recommended!

Haven’t had the chance to sit and dine at Franz Xaver Messerschmidt yet, but we’ve stopped by twice just for their cakes — and they were excellent. We tried the Sacher Torte and the chocolate almond cake, and both were spot on. The Sacher had just the right sweetness and a moist texture, while the almond cake was a bit less sugary but perfectly balanced. Easily among the best we’ve tried in the area. The interior looks charming and historic, adding to the café’s old-world appeal. Looking forward to coming back someday to try more from their menu.

Good place to have a quick coffee. They have a corretto which was a shot of espresso with amaretto. It was very lovely!

Great place for coffee and lemonade. Both at very cheap and reasonable prices. The café is located just outside the most touristed part of town, so the prices are lower and there are generally less people here. The melon and grapefruit lemonade is greatly recommended: A litre of it quickly disappears, that's how delicious it is!

They have one of the best ice creams in town. Especially sated caramel and they have really good cones. The coffee shop is also nice but their service needs improvement.

The Service is a disaster, the waitress didn’t bring what we ordered at the same time so some people ate very late and at the end we even payed for things we didn’t order

Fantastic! Having tried many different places for coffee in Bratislava, no one comes close to Matsu premium tea & coffee in terms of quality. I had the Matcha-latte 🍵 for the first time and it was the best. The Pecan maple bread was also well-baked and every bite made every penny worth it! The best part was the service. I had an amazing experience from the great service provided by Frederika and I’m definitely going to come back here. My Ratings: 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We came here twice in our 3 days in Bratislava because it was so nice. Best tasting matcha I've had in a caffe! The matcha cookie was to die for and my boyfriend loved the coffee also. I visited this place with my friend, and had the greatest time. The matcha was phenomenal, the latte art on it is literally beautiful (I felt so bad stirring it). You can get free water as well. The interior is cozy, and has a lot of plants. This is my go to place to get good quality matcha in Bratislava.

Had the matcha latte and vegan dark chocolate brownie, both great! The latte was creamy and the taste of matcha balanced, while the brownie was fudgy and truly delicious. Coupled with friendly service and a lovely interior, this is a place worth visiting.

Lovely little gem in Bratislava centrally located, we enjoyed the atmosphere and my matcha was delicious, took down a star in the food section as even thou my matcha was warm (i dont like it hot) my wife's cappuccino was cold, very tasty but cold. This is one of my favourite spots in Bratislava. Just love it. Great matcha latte, mouth-watering matcha cookie - this is happiness indeed. The place is nice and cozy. The atmosphere helps you to feel comfortable and relaxed. Inside the coffee shop there are a lot of green plants and flowers which helps your brain to get rest after a busy day. Matsu is offering a good quality teas and coffees. You can also buy some products to prepare your matcha at home.

Really cool place to drink coffee in the area with a lot of plants and unique vibe. I can’t complain about the coffee, which was great and definitely one of the best in Bratislava. This place caught me off guard. So aesthetically pleasing, I didn't even know it was possible! The three girls working there were so laid back, so attentive and the absolute nicest! They have wide varieties of specialty coffee and different brewing methods, and they have different specials each day. The coffee was delicious, but so were their desserts, in this case a mango cheesecake and a carrot cake. Their prices were REALLY fair for what they serve you, and I really can't get over the fact that they took the time and thought to put tampons in the women's bathroom. When I come back to Bratislava I'm RUNNING to this place right after arriving.

This place feels as if it was in Berlin. Very stylish interior with lots of plants and books. Excellent coffee and they even have vegan options on the menu. 4 local craft beers on tap, lots of gin&tonics. Cakes were delicious. Extra points for their amazing indie playlist. This is a very cool spot.

Excellent Caffè. It's easy to find just on the main street of the Stein complex. Once inside you are greeted by a modern fairly small space. It has a similar theme to all of the Stein complex. Coffee itself is great, if you like a bit of bitterness and sourness. But you can choose another blend if you prefer. So in conclusion, great space, service and coffee. Worth visiting.

Kicking of our coffee tour of Slovakia, we started at Triplefive. The best tasting coffee we had in Slovakia. I tried one of their beans from Chiang Mai, and was hit with some intense fruity flavours. Would definitely recommend for any serious coffee lovers in Bratislava!

Amazing coffee not too far away from the Bratislava centre. The coffee itself is a good enough reason to have a walk and visit this place. The Cinnamon Rolls were a bit too chewy, but they were tasty. The music was great and the people that work here are nice and kind. Would definitely recommend this place to all the coffee lovers.

I got my coffee from Triplefive since it was the closest coffee place to our hotel. The coffee was good at a fair price and the staff was very friendly. You can get take away coffee and stroll through the park across the street, that's a nice bonus.

Stumbled upon this gem of a coffee shop on our visit to Bratislava and it's been our favourite coffee shop of our trip! Set next to a public park, it has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The vegan Paris cake was unbelievably delicious and the staff were super accommodating and lovely. I recommend their iced coffee menu on a hot day.

Highly recommended cafe, the coffees are roasted by Triple five themselves, in Bratislava. There is a selections of delicious homemade cakes, comfortable seating and cozy atmosphere. Prices are standard for Bratispava and an a fine day…like everyday, one can take your coffee to go and sit in the Presidential palace which is across the road. As you can see my cappuccino is finished…it was great!

Very cozy place with superb food, drinks and service! Egg dishes were spectacular. Pancakes not too sweet, but flavourful and fresh - great option for breakfast. Grilled cheese with kimchi was another highlight - highly recommend.

Otto! in Bratislava was where we stopped for breakfast, and it turned out to be a solid choice. The coffee was good, the breakfast tasty, and the location right in the city center made it even better—I love starting the day in the middle of all the city buzz. The only downside was that it was a bit noisy for a morning work meeting, but for a casual breakfast in the heart of Bratislava, it’s a really nice spot.

I’ve been to Blue Mondays a couple of times and it’s one of my favourite coffee spots in Bratislava. The coffee is excellent. Rich, high quality and full of flavour. Their iced coffees and iced matchas are very smooth. Iced latte, especially, is 10/10. I also tried the pastrami and pickle sandwich, which was thick and a generous portion. The quality of both drinks and food is high.

Coffee? Immaculate. The beans they sell on site are top-notch and super reasonably priced. I had a vegan matcha latte with coconut milk. In the beginning it was a bit bitter, but once I gave it a good stir it balanced out beautifully. The vibe is definitely here as well. Honestly, I’m already looking for a reason to come back just to swing by again ;)

The place is really nice. A lot of space, books around and wifi connection. I enjoyed my sandwich and matcha latte was one of the best I tried- very soft and creamy.

Really good food. We took the spare ribs and pork knuckles. Very large portions. The waiter was really cool. Even though the restaurant was full, he switched two tato make place for the 8 of us. All the praise as we tried other restaurants and they not so eager to welcome us. By the way: good beer and plum brandy!!! Will for sure return!!!

Just what it needs to be, would definitely recommend this over any other breakfast place in the city offer same kind of food Had to go here in the morning for breakfast but decided to try a costlier place with same dishes and it wasn’t worth the money. Had a brunch here on 29.08.2025. The place has a beautiful jungle-style interior and a very cozy, atmospheric vibe. Portions are huge! It was my son’s 18th birthday – we celebrated with a mom-and-son brunch, which was honestly my dream. We even brought our own cake, and the staff kindly allowed us to have it there. We ordered a Breakfast Burger, Bacon Benedict, and 2 cappuccinos. The bill was €37.50, but it was absolutely worth it considering the quality and the size of the portions. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and spoke good English, which made everything smooth and easy. ✨ Absolutely recommend!

Super nice waiters, food was amazing, and the drinks were SUPER good. The matcha was very very good, recommend it to everyone. It is a bit pricey though, so if you are looking for a cheap spot, this isn't it. Also they do have a small menu, they could have more options so if you're vegetarian or vegan don't come here.

I am a fan of english breakfast and they have a good one. Eggs benedict was really good and tasty as well as the other breakfast sandwich. Carrot cake was very tasty and moist 10/10. The staff were very attentive and friendly especially Urinia and the others, they have a selection of music that perfectly suits your mood.

A very nice bistro place in a central location of Bratislava. It is ideal for breakfast, brunch, coffee or more sweet or savory treats. The people working in this place are very polite and experienced. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the music is relaxing and the prices are reasonable.

Food is fantastic although the service is not as good. Anyway back to the food - I know all of the dishes I took there from lots of different places. I eat them a lot and I really love them and their approach to the seasoning of all of them is amazing. I’ve never had as delicious versions of the dishes I tested as the ones I got there! Tatar is just incredible! Even if someone is not a fan, you should try it - even share it but it’s worth it, really! ❤️

A nice little restaurant in a beautiful area, very beautiful and peaceful. The food and the coffee was good, the first time in ages I found marrowbone in a restaurant! My friends took the tartare and the filled farmer dumplings, everything was delicious. I recommend the place if you want to enjoy a good lunch with the noise of the fountain and the shadow of the trees.

Taste of good old times. Excellent authentic local food typical for the melting pot of cultures that is Bratislava. Slovak, Hungarian, Austrian, whatever you choose from the menu, you can't go wrong. Try Bryndzové Halušky, the traditional potato dough dumplings with the unique Slovak fresh sharp sheep bryndza cheese, or the mushroom pörkölt, or the Schnitzel, I guarantee you'll be coming back for more.

Great Slovak restaurant with authentic food. I had the Szeged beef goulash and spicy chickpea and lentil soup, both of which were excellent. The staff are attentive and courteous.

A hearty restaurant right in the pedestrian center of Bratislava. We had some delicious food here and the service was great. When our waitress came to take our order she also recommended a few local dishes. Our food was brought to the table relatively quickly, considering that there was a large group of people seated a few tables away.

We dropped in for a coffee and cake on a cold October day. What an awesome place. Great atmosphere with good coffee and food (carrot cake was excellent). Very comfortable insie with free wifi and lots of places to lounge and sit. Family and kid friendly as well.

Lovely experience on the historic Michalska ulica, with a beautiful view of St. Michael's Gate and great people-watching. We had breakfast here about two weeks ago, and last night we came back for some nighttime drinks. Food is mediocre for the price. Enjoy Bistro currently has a 3 Aperol Spritz for the price of 2 deal. The cocktails are a bit diluted compared to other places, but we’re really here for the amzing evening atmosphere. Service is good. We’re giving this place 5 stars purely for the experience of the wonderful feeling of being surrounded by history while enjoying modern life.

What a great place for people watching, great food and coffee. We had the Avacado Toast and Berry Smoothie and they were so delicious. Amazing ingredients and presentation.

One of the most pleasant ambiente places in the Michalska street! Thanks to the lots of green vegetation this terrace is isolated from the street but still connected to the city vibe. Their lemonades, poke and AWESOME BIO vine are a must! Just sit here, order a glass of vine, and relax a bit from the city rush. This place has it all.

What a wonderful couple of hours l spent today in Macafé. I was greeted warmly as a sat on a comfortable sofa style seat in the corner of the cafe, and ordered a Latte and toasted cheese, both were delicious. When l arrived the cats were mostly asleep on chairs, cat beds and nooks and crannies around the spacious cafe.. they started to wake more as the cafe got a little busier, they were receptive to strokes and an odd cuddle too. All the cats looked well cared for, the owner Marcel and the staff team clearly love the kitties. Marcel the owner is a busy man, but still made time to chat with me about cats, our respective countries and our passion for animal welfare, lovely man. This cafe is on the way to the castle, it's totally worth stopping for some food, drink and cat cuddles... You can also buy cute merchandise in the cafe to support them. Prices were definitely reasonable, and the ambiance was great!

Absolutely our highlight of the trip! Very friendly staff and the space is so neatly organised. The cats are all rescue cats and they tell you their story behind it. We tried the pumpkin chocolate and it was so yummy 😋

The cats are obviously comfortable and have plenty of spots to hide from the crowd if they wish to. Prices are fair, and the place although is crowded has such an amazing atmosphere as everyone is respectful with the cats and doesn’t bother them too much!

The café has only six cats — or fortunately, just six cats. They are very relaxed and friendly. During our visit, two of the cats, Žabka and Karamel, mostly slept, while the other four were very active and sociable, especially Timko and Kubik. Frida even let herself be carried around, while Izzy preferred to hide. By the way, if you want to get to know the cats, their names and life stories are listed on the last pages of the menu. You shouldn’t expect too much interaction since there are only a few cats and not all of them want to be with visitors at all times. However, the cats have drinking fountains and a private retreat where no visitors can go. The staff are exceptionally kind and communicative, and service is fast and friendly. Since there’s no entrance fee, the prices for drinks and food are moderate. We highly recommend the cheesecake. The atmosphere is very calm, relaxed, familial, and chill. The cats even know who their favorite humans are, so we were able to hold, cuddle, and hug a few of them — but note, this isn’t allowed for everyone, neither by the cats nor the staff. Children under 12 are fortunately not allowed in, or only with their parents. Feeding the cats is also not permitted to avoid overfeeding. Overall, it’s a very caring, attentive, and cat-friendly café where the well-being of the cats clearly comes first.

Very cozy place, the cats are well behaved and very friendly, even with children. The coffee is great, the staff is friendly and speaks English as well. There are different sitting areas featuring both chairs and couches, the music is quiet, providing good ambience, and there is also a small shelf filled with table games and books for entertainment. Overall a great experience and I will certainly return here throughout the duration of my stay.

Bistro St. Germain is the perfect spot for a delicious breakfast in the heart of the city. We tried the breakfast sandwich filled with a fluffy omelette, quality ham, cheddar cheese, and fresh salad – a combination that will delight any breakfast lover. The scrambled eggs on crispy sourdough bread were cooked to perfection – soft, creamy, and full of flavor. To drink, we enjoyed a refreshing mimosa made with pineapple juice, which paired beautifully with our meal. We finished with two ristrettos, rich in aroma and perfectly balanced in taste. Great food, friendly service, and an excellent location make Bistro St. Germain a place worth returning to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for the best breakfast in Bratislava.

Literally got sick eating here. After finishing my pastrami sandwich which I left in half because I thought something tasted weird. In my house I threw up what I just ate. I don’t know what cleanliness or food quality they have, clearly something is way off. Ambience is good. Service is bad waitress are kind, but they are extremely over work with tables. There are many good coffee shops in BA. But clearly, this is not one of them. For your wallet and health don’t go there.

Highly impressed by the quality of desserts here. It's the perfect place for a late lunch after exploring Bratislava. The city is great for vegans and this is a must visit.

Nice restaurant with friendly waitresses, we had to wait 40-45min for our food, we didn't mind but it is on the long side. The food was very good, hot and fresh. We ordered the potato dumplings. Soft texture with a nice chew and a creamy sauce. Surprising the vegan bacon and caramelized apple topping made this dish complete, great combination.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in this neck of the woods. The place itself is cozy and very welcoming, the service is superb, and of course the food! The food was just perfect. I had a Balans burger and my wife had a marble steak dish. We also got a poke bowl for our toddler but ended up eating it all ourselves since she’s a super picky eater and only settled for a piece of tofu. The burger was great, maybe a bit too salty to my taste, but the homemade apple chutney was a great addition to it. However, what really stole the show was the steak dish. Such a simple combination of ingredients but such a perfect balance of flavors! The poke bowl was also absolutely delicious. Next time we go to Bratislava, we eat at Balans Bistro.

We had a really great lunch here. We tried the meatless meatballs and a sandwich ~ both totally delicious! They also serve good coffee and desserts: tiramisu was ok, kremšnita was ok but marlenka stole the show! Staff is really attentive and sweet and the place looks amazing!

The vegan burger at Balans Bistro was absolutely delicious! We arrived around 6:15 pm and managed to place our order shortly before the kitchen closed. Despite the late hour, the service was quick, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food to arrive. I thoroughly enjoyed the vegan burger—it was flavorful and satisfying. However, I’d suggest serving it on a flat plate, as it would make eating it more convenient. We also tried the burrito, which, unfortunately, wasn’t as impressive. It was a bit soggy, and the ketchup flavor overpowered the other ingredients, which I didn’t enjoy much. On the brighter side, it’s great to have a vegan restaurant nearby that offers such options. The lemongrass lemonade was refreshing, though I personally would have preferred it to be slightly sweeter. Overall, it was a good experience, and I look forward to returning to try more from their menu!

The staff were very friendly with good English and they also provided us with an English menu. They have a great selection of coffee and drinks. Great way to start the day if you ask me, combining breakfast and books. The cozy café is inside the bookstore, which is reallyyyy big. The tables are nice, and some in the middle are equipped with plugs so perfect to work from there. We saw a few customers having meetings, no problem 👌🏻 They have a few menus in English to make it easier. The price was a bit high. The waitress was very nice and gave us some water before we even started. The drinks and food we had was super. Just a small pity that it is running out quickly, we wanted to order four croissants, and they had already only three left 🥐 A thingy that made me smile, if you have to go to the toilet, don’t try opening the door (and look like a fool lol)…you have to ask for a key.

Its a coffee place inside of one of the biggest bookstore of Bratislava. Nice atmosphere. There is a good decoration. You can buy a book and enjoy a delicious coffee, tea or cold drink. There is some delicious desserts like cheesecake. Good customer service. A girl served us and she was very kind and she speaks good English. She served us water before we order something to drink. It's a good place to have a coffee and dessert with friends. It is a dog friendly place.

One of the best espresso in Slovakia so far. Matcha drinks and hot chocolate are really tasty! (I normally hate on matcha, but here it's ❤️‍🔥). I love the calm atmosphere of the place. It is made for a small group of friends or for a coffee with just yourself. Laptop friendly! Lovely hidden place, you need to go through gate and entrance is from there. I was there alone, just two more customers showed up later. But quiet place with awesome coffee even had soy milk. Scrumptious 'bábovka' and good music (Chopin was on playlist - the waitress tried to match it to my book reading. That prog rock before was ok too though). Definitely will return.

Great place for a coffee & cake break. There is a playground corner for kids to play. Fresh cakes from the glassmonter, better to select there than from menu and they taste good, recommended. Craft beer available on the menu but it said "ask the waiter for info" so i asked what kind they had if it was IPA or APA (the 2 listed as choices) she didn't know so i asked how much it costs and she didn't know, I ordered it anyway and it was a pretty good IPA. Coffee comes with a small crispy sweet stick, like an edge of a cookie.

WOW: this place rocks! First and Foremost: coffee beans well selected, perfectly extracted and presented. A proper coffee house experience ::: and then I found the cake of my life ::: Eastern Europe used to run on poppy and lately those little black dots are making a comeback in homemade and well baked Bratislava horn’s and strudels varieties. However Berlinka’s cafe own bakers elevated poppy seeds to 21st century with their fabulous MAKOVÁ TORTA .. it is rich and light, poppy dark with a strip of golden light of gelatine in the middle. ~~~ Wonderful smiling and helpful staff. Elegant interior with an industrial touch. Fantastic views of Danube.. and absolutely amazing light for selfies! THANK YOU

It's a warm and artistic place in the center of Bratislava city. Nice and tasteful menu. I would recommend it for somebody to visit it.

This place is super classy and elegant. The coffee is amazing and the food was pleasant. The reason I’m only giving this place 3 stars is because I had a bit of an unpleasant experience here. When I arrived, there was a homeless person hanging around at their outdoor seating which I was uncomfortable with and had to go sit inside to feel a bit more safe (I was on my own at that time). Then as we were about to finish up, a different homeless guy walked up to our table and started speaking to us loudly. After a while, it was clear he didn’t want to leave us alone so I had to get a staff member to help. I’m so happy that the cafe staff did help almost immediately but it left us feeling very unsettled. Having said that, I will go back there again (but not alone) because the staff stepped in when asked and it is a really nice place to chill out.

Great place for a coffee, beer, soup, dessert or veggie food options. In fact all the food I have tasted here has been delicious, reasonably priced and homemade. There is plenty of room to chill out or have a formal meeting with someone as the music is quiet and ambient. Above all the service is generally fast and super friendly. I would highly recommend giving them a try.

Yes they use mostly quality ingredients but if you can’t choose how your egg is cooked (even soft boiled as opposed to purple hard boiled) then they’re a bit too full of themselves and their menu for my 10 euro. As far as I know they change the menu each week, so maybe you’ll get lucky and come on a day when they make eggs the way you like them. The flat white was fine, on the bitter side of the specialty coffee tracks.

Small cozy place for the breakfast and brunch. They have a couple of options of savory and sweet food. We had brioche with boiled egg and feta and toast with smashed eggs and parm and additional avocado. The egg on the toast was pretty weird, it was like a chopped egg with mayo(?), also, they mentioned that every toast comes with a salad, but we got only a few grapes instead. Also, both meals were over salted. Coffee was tasty. I wish they had just scramble eggs, it would be much better

Amazing place very close to the train station. This is very convenient bite before travelling as it opens its doors at 8am. We spend 20€ for that lovely breakfast and we were full for hours. The staff were very friendly and happy to serve. The menu very balanced with a lot of options. The space has 5 spaces to sit so you have to be a bit lucky.

Little hipster cafe in the center of Bratislava! Good for co-working. Solid coffee. Not a huge deal but note they don’t have disposable cups for takeaway though. You need to pay 1€ for a cup and bring it back if you want a takeaway cup.

Just normal coffee considering its price. You have to pay 1 euro for a plastic cup if you want it to go and return it if you want it back which is very inconvenient. The interior smelt bad and is super warm, very unpleasant

So happy to find this place! This is the perfect place for sitting with a laptop for a while. The coffee is great and everything is very reasonable priced. I was very happy that they have soya milk. I also got a vege toasted sandwich and it was basic but good for breakfast. There isn't a lot of food options available but I was happy that they offered more than just sweet things. It was pretty much empty on a Sunday morning so lots of tables available. They had a good mix of tables for big groups, 2-4 person tables as well as a higher bench along the window which was perfect for me as I like to stand sometimes.

Really cool and spacious place in the middle of the city center with good coffee and many other drink options. If you are looking for a place to get some work done, then you should visit this café. Inside there’s a very productive atmosphere as many are on their laptops working or working in small groups. They have free Wi-Fi. You can also buy some merchandise articles that looked laser engraved to me.

Sweet Beans Coffee Roastery in Bratislava is a hidden treasure for coffee lovers! We ordered a café latte, cappuccino, and their unique pistachio Cinnabon—and every bite and sip was exceptional. The coffee was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, clearly roasted with care. The pistachio Cinnabon was unlike anything we’ve tasted—soft, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better. You can tell they’re passionate about what they do. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or relaxing with a treat, Sweet Beans is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Excellent coffee hub with WiFi, lounges, little alcoves to sit in, loads of kids toys for a family friendly vibe, a random guitar which was fun to play and nice open spaces. STAFF: Friendly, fluent English speaking and efficient - Thank you! DRINKS: Various vegan milk options. ACCESSIBILITY: Although the cafe is at street level, the toilet is down a few stairs. OVERALL: Highly recommend, I felt like I could hang out here all day.

Sweet Beans Coffee x Roastery is a brilliant little find in Bratislava. I had the Espresso Bumble - a surprising yet refreshing mix of orange soda and double espresso - and somehow, it just worked. We also tried the Matcha Cloud, another cold drink, and a pistachio-hued croissant that was as tasty as it looked. The café itself is tucked inside what seems to be a converted tunnel, giving it a unique, cozy vibe. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere warm, and the coffee and pastries were absolutely worth it. Highly recommended for a quality coffee stop.

Had a really nice matcha cloud here and pistachio pastry. Very delicious and highly recommend for such a warm day to cool down and relax a bit. A bit away from the main attractions too so it gives a little peace away from the crowd. Worth the stroll for a good cafe chill spot.

Just above average for the third wave scene in Bratislava. Very pleasant but not as much flavour in the beans as you’d like from a specialty place. Makes a good day drinking cup if that’s what you’re after.

Best coffee I found in town! They use a Brazilian Arabica. You can get some small sweet things to it but no salty.

Pros: The restaurant’s interior is super stylish and cozy. I especially loved the hanging herbs on the ceiling! The Riash Mashwi (lamb ribs) was absolutely delicious - a true chef’s kiss! Don’t miss out on their hummus either. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s also a great place for Muslim tourists. Cons: Parking can be a bit tricky.

Amazing food and very kind staff. The hummus was probably the best I’ve ever had. The veal kebab and shawarma dajaj sandwich were seasoned perfectly, and everything tasted top-notch. Almost forgot, don’t miss their lentil soup, highly recommended!

Ilias recommended Khourouf Mahci. At first, I was suspicious, because it was the most expensive meal on the menu. But it turned out to be an amazing taste. I had never experienced such a great lamb leg. Also, zhe rice with almonds was exceptional!

A good place to get breakfast or a quick caffeine fix if you are in the neighbourhood. We had breakfast once, and passed by a couple of times for coffee, because it was on the route to and from our hotel and also a cozy place to warm up. The coffee is well made. The english breakfast is a must try. We also had the avocado and scrambled eggs. Everything tasty, fresh and well presented.

A cute quaint small cafe. The ambiance was nice but there were not many tables to sit. The coffee size was tiny but that's expected. The pasteis de nata was pretty good. It was crunchy but it was definitely better in Portugal.

As a former international student from Portugal, this cafe was the best way for me to feel closest to my country whilst living abroad. The pastel de nata is really good, besides a little over-priced. The Portuguese wine and coffee complete the spectrum of Portuguese cuisine there.

This is a little Portugal in Bratislava, do not confuse with a little Portugal in Coimbra. Apparently both Starbucks and Costa started a competion selling "pasteis de nata", but brave Beija Flor is fighting back with more gastronomic wonders from Lusitania. Same owner has multiple POS in Bratislava and I recommend giving him a chance to help you discovering something new and tasty.

Everything was perfect Food was too delicious and the sweet pastel de nata was so good. Staff were also so engaging and place also seems so good to chill.

I was greeted by a very friendly staff. The tarts were delicious. There were three types of tarts: the orthodox egg tart, chocolate, and strawberry, but I liked the chocolate one the best. And it is surprisingly inexpensive for the quality and service. I will go back.

Accidentaly found this place and they made my breakfast perfect! Scrambled eggs with avocado toast was more than enough (portion was big for me). Pastel de nata was really good, almost same as in Portugal. Even though the place is small, it makes it more cousy. Strongly recomended!

Breakfast at Mondieu – Nivy A great brunch in a cozy and stylish setting! 🍳 The eggs Benedict on avocado toast were delicious, 🧀 the halloumi toast was rich and flavorful, 🥞 and the pancake with Nutella and cream was the perfect sweet treat. We had a Mimosa and a Coke Zero to go with it – just ideal. Everything was spot on today, such a pleasant place for breakfast or brunch. Highly recommended!

Never in my life have i tasted better food than in here. The smoothies were absolutely amazing and organic and the pancakes were delicious as well. Id also like to mention how great the customer service was. Id also like to personally thank your lovely waitress, Gretka for her astounding service. 10/10 would definitely come again. 💞

First, the venue itself. It's decorated nicely, with a mix of wickers chairs and a few sofas for larger groups. Truly classic café climate. It also includes a terrace on top of Nivy centre, which in nice weather really adds to the experience. Leon, the waiter who served us, spoke fluent English, and while it was not necessary (since my group included a few Slovaks) it is certainly good to be able to clearly communicate in the most international language. He was professional, and was able to provide recommendations, which turned out to work out great. He also was knowledgeable about allergens, which while might seem to be basic, I know from experience not in every establishment waiters know those information. For food and drinks themselves, we ordered a mix of drinks and cakes. With one coffee, one chocolate and three cheesecakes, including one gluten-free, I believe we gained a decent sample size of their offer. First, the chocolate: I took chocolate with bananas. It was a proper hot chocolate, not just a glorified cocoa. Thick and sweet, it was an exquisite simple dessert. My colleague took espresso with chocolate. Mind You, this is an opinion of someone who usually doesn't like coffee, but she did enjoy this mix. Given it was a real hot chocolate, it was still a sweet drink, despite the usual bitterness of coffee. As for cheesecakes, my colleagues had a mix of different one, and not a single person found anything to complain about. Lemon cheesecake was sour sweet, as it was supposed to be. Delicate, and the size was what one would expect for a dessert. Coconut cheesecake was taken by a foodie in our group, and while myself I would not enjoy this choice, he did. For each it's own, I am aware that coconut is a popular flavour and many people enjoy it. His recommendation does speak in favour for me. Last but not least, the fruit cheesecake, gluten-free, was sweet, and provided good balance between fruity flavours. The only issue I would find was few gluten- and lactose- free options. Now, as for offer besides what we had a chance to taste. Mondieu offers wide variety of all-day breakfast, including pancakes, croissants and various egg based meals. Choice of drinks, especially coffee, lets me believe that everyone could find something for themselves. The place also offers some light alcoholic drinks, which make it a good choice for late afternoon stop.

Careful with the blond waitress… We paid by card (separately, which of course she didn’t like) and she charged each of us more in the card machine than what the screen was showing. If I want to give a tip, I’ll do it if I want, but don’t charge me more without asking!!!! The same happened to all my friends paying by card. The food was ok-ish.

If you like good coffee this place is not for you. The espresso is burnt, I felt I was drinking ashes with water. The cappuccino is a bit better, but far from being a good one. Pistachio croissant is ultra buttery and sweet, and pretty expensive for what it is.

The bean they use goes well with both Americano and cortado; banana bread and blueberry danish taste really good as well. I've been to this Café a lot in the last few months. First visit merely for convenience; the reccuring ones for the amazing wholeness of the place. Coffee is among the best in Bratislava, and whichever of the nicecest baristas is behind the machine, every coffee is made with care and experience. The cakes are no different, fresh, home-made in the cafe and mouthwatering from sight to every bite. This place is a must for a great day with some coffee and dessert time.

Awesome service. We had two different cakes and oat milk capuccino. We felt strong oat taste in our coffee so we asked barista about it and we had a short discussion about different brands of oat milk and how strong is their taste. Cakes were great.

Located very close to a tram station, this café has a pet-friendly & nicely decorated, spacious interior with a great selection of desserts which are well-balanced, not too sweet and pleasing to the eye. I haven’t tried their (specialty) coffee yet but the matcha latte and chai latte were good and there’s a nice selection of plant-based/lactose-free milks 🌱 The staff is very friendly 😊 I think I probably spent around 7€ for a drink and a dessert.

Apparently they’ve forgotten that bar have had some reservations…which is not our problem and the service level at this point was horrible😭 BUT thanks to one of the other waitresses - Maria, who was very nice 🌸

Came here for the first time this afternoon to get some work done and I can't wait to go back! 👩‍💻💖 The interior is so unique, with many plants and lamps. There's also lots of seating to choose from and fast wifi. The staff are friendly and fast. I was served water right away and even brought refills during my visit. I had a latte and it tasted great. The value for size was also good, 2.90€ for 270ml (about average for Bratislava.) Of course, the location is super convenient and good for people watching. Will come again for cocktails one night soon for sure. 🥂

Well first of all coffee is great, the taste is just wonderful and the barista(Patricia) asked the choice of beans unlike other coffee shops where they just serve whatever they have/want. Space is small and opening hours are a complain. But the taste of coffee covers it all.

This was such a find! Great outside seating perfect for people watching. Also has really lovely spaces inside and a great playlist and really sweet staff. Cafe Opera is an elegant little cafe beside the National Theatre on Hviezdoslavovo Namestie. It’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, but definitely worth a stop, especially for lunch! Everything is made from scratch including the many delicious pastries, cakes, bread, sandwiches, and quiche — which I tried along with a chai latte, cappuccino, and carrot cake. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service is attentive and you can tell the staff is trained to pay attention to the small details, like the plating and overall presentation of your order. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a coffee, or at least the quiche!

They make really great coffee, beans from their own roastery. They also have many snacks - lots of cakes and some sandwiches (also some vegan options). They have oat milk. This is one of my favorite places in Bratislava, I really like the interior with extra high ceilings and pretty dark green curtains. They offer typical Pressburg menu, everything I ever had here was good and the prices are reasonable. Their only problem is the service - sometimes you’ll have to wait quite long to get served.
