We drove from France to Italy specifically to go to the seaside and eat a good pizza. The morning by the sea was wonderful. the pizza and service very poor. We have never experienced such a negative employee. The pizza is bread with a lot of toppings on it and has nothing to do with pizza. We had already eaten something in the morning so we wanted to share two pizzas with our four-year-old son and two adults. There was already a very strange reaction to that. As if we shouldn't decide for ourselves what we eat? When the pizzas arrived they had only two plates and not for our son. Due to the poor service and bad pizza, we ultimately did not eat our pizza and I wanted to pay. People shouted several times that I was at the wrong cash register. In addition, I had forgotten that in Italy you have to pay Coperto. so thought the bill was wrong. When I asked about this, another employee pointed me to the Corperto in an irritated manner. Then they had calculated this three times while my son had not received a plate. In the end I got my 2 euros back, very irritated. it became a matter of principle. Negative service, bad pizzas, not giving a plate but calculating corperto and acting irritated. Tip. Go to the old town a little further from the beach, there you have real pizzas for a good price with friendly staff!

Great place so friendly and the service is impeccable, the food is always superb and the apéritives are the best, not to be missed.

Stopped to bere qualcosa and was offered a platter of tasty nibbles to accompany my beer, l'aperitivo. Shared a gorgeous and funny moment with another customer, to whom I say, I will definitely return. Meanwhile, "arrivederci" from Nizza e Dublino.

Quick lunch on our way back home from France. Early November Monday, many places closed for the winter. This was one of the places open, with a view on the beach and the sea, so we decided to give it a try. We had two simple dishes, sautéed calamari and ravioli, both very good. The dessert, tarte tatin, was absolutely fantastic (even better than they usually make it in France)! The service a bit slow, probably because we could only see one person serving all the tables - and chapeau to him, he was really running and still, managed to smile and be friendly.

Came here one year ago, pasta were good, I recommend ! Service top !

This is easily the best Sushi I have ever had the pleasure of eating! With out of the box ingredients and truly Inspired flavor combinations, the Chef is nothing short of a Genius. You would be doing yourself a disservice by not stopping by this truly one-of-a-kind Resturant!

We had the great fortune to share a wine tasting with the chef and owner earlier in the day, and they invited us to dine at the restaurant that evening. We had no idea what to expect, but I can say everything was beyond what we had imagined. World class cocktails, an impressive wine list and some of the best sushi I have had the fortune to try. I live gyoza and was very pleased with all of the offerings available that day. Do not skip the desserts they were outstanding as well. I have the highest praise for the restaurant, they friendly and truly meaningful service YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!

In the heart of the historical part of Bordighera (Bordighera Alta) you can find this elegant restaurant capable to combine the ligurian tradition with the most sophisticated wave of the new trends. The restaurant has also a bar that offers excellent cocktails different from the usual ones. Right place for a formal dinner and/or aperitif. Not economic but the price is justified by the quality of the food and the service.

Big disappointment. Three out of four in the company ordered Wagyu Beef Tataki. Big mistake, we got about 10 pieces each, all so chewy that they were more or less uneatable. I personally also doubt that it was Wague Beef, not as marbled as it usually is. Sushi and rolls were OK so I give two instead of one star

Had a surprise menu here - that is something you will never forget! Atmosphere is great here and if you are looking for a lovely place for dinner this one is definitely recommended.

Location at the plaza has a great atmosphere in the middle of the old town of Bordighera. The setup is also very nice. The service is friendly but not too much motivated. All drinks have to be served on your own. For this price range I would require a better service. Another example is no active communication besides the questions about coffee or dessert. The food is good but takes no risks and is seasoned averagely. The gnocchi were really good but all in all lack of the taste is not what you expect when you pay around 20-25€ per course. We had much better food in the surrounding restaurants. The good wine menu deserves a note. All in all an average experience.

Recommended for a nice and chilled lunch. Good location in the middle of a quiet square. Service is fast and of good standard. Perfect to try some local food and wines. Overall it was a good experience!

Malcolm is a fantastic human. He saved the place. The food was ok, but I would not eat there again. Sorry, there are simply many better options in this area. Most of the food staff were good, but down at the beach beds, one of the guys was genuinely quite rude and this place was saved by Malcolm - legend! Malcolm speaks 6 languages, but more importantly is just kind, friendly and helpful. We would go back for beach beds and Malcolm, but that’s about all. No Malcolm, not going.

The eggplant ravioli and Pinot Grigio was perfect! Beautiful view of the water and rock formations. It was a nice walking stop on the way back to our accommodations in Bordighera from visiting the botanical gardens, Giardino Esotico Pallanca.

Everything brilliant, except one waitress the young black hair girl. Very rude and typical from here. It used to be all bad service then now it’s better. The service people aren’t rude like they used to be, except this one girl. She has to be sacked she just isn’t suited for customer service where you HAVE to be friendly!!

A tough one. The views of the Terasse are great. Terasse is really nice and during the day it has nice swimming between the rocks. Small wine list but nothing crazy. Service was a little rough at the beginning got better throughout the evening. Lacks a little passion. The food lacks passion as well. Tomato 🍅 foccatia was exceptional. Little amuse bouche was nice. Ansjofish toast was ok. Just a lot butter.... Shrimp ceviche was nice. Just lacked love. Fitura di pesce was slightly overcooked and the fish were too big and not fileted. Most dissapointing dish of the evening. Desert was ok liked the coconut. All in all average food with a great view. Enjoy.

One of my favorite restaurants in Bordighera. Wonderful view, facing directly the sea, good service and very tasteful food. Recommended for a romantic dinner, especially in the summer evenings when you can dine outside.

It was excellent! Super recommended, specially risotto di Gamberi and the amount and quality of the shrimps and everything was so good in the dish of Fritto Misto.

Celebrated my birthday at Garibaldi - absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the pesto lasagna and my mom had a freshly baked fish. I'm not a fan of seafood, but her fish with roasted veggies smelled incredible. Great wine, wonderful hospitality and fantastic food! Can't wait to visit again!

We were recommended by friends. Came here with some good food expectations… however the restaurant itself was a nice surprise for us.. very friendly staff and well ambient atmosphere. The food wasn’t as good as we expect. I guess depends on what you eat, the mussels were exquisite but the pizza was not our favorite… 🐾 It is a Dog friendly restaurant.

My Italian husband and I have been here a few times over the years, but this was the last. They sat us on a table without a tablecloth or cutlery and then took our orders. Once the table was dressed, they asked us to go to another table – again with no tablecloth or cutlery. At the end of the meal the waiter takes our plates and knocks over my full glass of wine without apologising. I tell the manager about our experience, and she doesn’t care, but does take the 3 euros off the bill for the glass of wine (pretty sure a glass of wine costs more than that)…. There are so many other restaurants in Bordighera Alta which are cheaper with much better service and food.

Food was delicious, we tried gnocchis and the grilled fish of the day. Service was great, communicative and kind and quick, can't ask for more. Location is nice, easy to reach, the desks outside on the atone floor could be stabilized a bit more :D, otherwise a nice looking place with kind personnel. If you have any allergies or special bids, they will listen and try to accommodate what you need.

4 years ago I found this place when I was traveling around Italy. They have outstanding pizza. I always wanter to visit this place again. And yesterday I get here with my wife, all the way from Slovenia. It was a great dinner. I hope this place will live forever and continue makin people happy

Had to wait for around 2hrs for 4 mediocre pizzas the service was really bad only one person running the whole restaurant, i had a baby wasn't even offered a high chair. Menu was really limited not much options, The pizza was really thick and soggy in the middle with all the oil and sour tomato sauce, 0/10 definitely don't recommend especially if you go with kids.

I've been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. Very typical, it is still the same owner and the mother has been making the pizzas ever since. The ingredients are very fresh and there is always a good atmosphere. I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed and could not get a more authentic experience.

WORST PIZZA EVER HAD. this is really not a pizza but more like a pie. it is not tasty, it is too oily. don't know why all the locals eat there but i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. there are plenty of places around with just superb pizzas.

A beautiful place just next to the sea with a great view. We took the sea fried dish which was amazing! It's for 2 people minimum but could be suitable for 3. The dessert was great too, I recommend the tiramisu. Very friendly service, we had a very nice experience. Grazie!!!

Fantastic beach with shallowly sloped waters. Stone beach, not sand. Love them so perfect for me.

The beach is mostly pebble, the sun beds and parasols are in good condition, food selection is ok, so is the quality and the serving sizes. Prices are reasonable. The staff is a little reserved at times. Still a beach I would recommend.

We were there for a birthday celebration. It is a bit too expensive and crowded for my taste.

The restaurant was busy (8pm) and we had to wait a little while to be shown to our reserved table. Though the restaurant specialises in local food, the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful in describing the dishes, the menu per course was limited. Some of our pasta dishes were good, others said their pasta was disappointing. Unfortunately our desserts weren't that liked either and the panna cotta was served as pictured.

We booked not realising that it had changed hands. It was so good before, offering seriously prepared food. Apart from chatty front of house awful, sloppy service, no wine, bread, correct cutlery and the food was at best mediocre and poorly presented. Then over charged by just a couple of euros but summed up a really disappointing evening.

Fabulous food with traditional rabbit dishes and homemade pasta! wonderful location in the high side of Bordighera, among terraces and city walls. Here I ate the best tiramisù (Italian dessert) I have ever had and, since then, I have come back several times. Great for families and groups of friends. Reservations are mandatory if you want to find a spot! Prices are more than honest.

Nice local food, tried the fried porcini, Corzetti with truffles (very good) and gnocchi al castagno 👌🏼 service needs some more grooving in but overall nice!

The restaurant has changed management. What was once a cosy family run restaurant with wonderful local food has become a rather awful heartless eatery. How sad, it’s just plain dreadful now. Stay away from it.

Since i moved to Bordighera this has become my favourite place. I go there at least twice a week. The staff and owner are very friendly, they speak the languages. The food is always perfect and the menu changes regularly. Wonderful wines and a big selection. Loving the Italian prices. This is a place you can have a romantic dinner as well as take your family (kids and dogs). If you are in the area please go you will not be dissapointed.

the Monkfish was very good. The restaurant was fine except, of course, they allow people to smoke at the tables on the patio this our dinner was negatively affected by the woman next to us who smoked CONSTANTLY- but not the restaurant’s fault unless they wanted to have the tables further apart. The recommended Vermentino wine was excellent at ~35€

Really really nice restaurant. Food was excellent, wine list is impressive, staff were amazing. My wife likes a bit of fresh mint tea after a meal, and whilst they had no fresh mint, our waiter ran across to the nearby cocktail bar to source it for her. Beyond the call of duty! Will be back soon!

Very delicious! We ended up getting the fish carpaccio (tuna was fish of the day), and it was so good- didn’t leave a fishy aftertaste! Spaghetti also amazing. I definitely recommend stopping by for good food and cute ambience.

My wife and I had spontaneous dinner there. We were completely overwhelmed by the kindness and friendliness by the staff/waiters. Such very nice people :-) Equally important we have asked for a pasta dish that was not on the menue. No issues for the kitchen to accomodate our wish and what a delicious pasta this was! An absolute 10/10 from us and will go back anytime.

Toilets are a hole in the ground… also for the ladies.

Came here on my girlfriend's recommendation. The spaghetti with clams was the BEST I've ever tried on the whole Riviera, 6 months living here. The grilled sea bass was perfectly cooked, without too much spices so you can taste the freshness of it, and the sides went perfectly together. Simply the best food experience in a long time. But the cherry on the cake was the friendly but absolutely professional service staff. Rush a reservation before it gets too famous and busy. I scored big points with the love of my life and that is saying something. Thank you guys and especially Souhail.

I've been coming here for years first allone, then with my wife and daughter, always great service and accommodating. It is one of the places I look forward to the most when I travel to Liguria. My one year old daughter had the gnocchi vongole and my wife and I had grilled fish and Fritto misto, everything was amazing especially the service.

Don’t go there. The food is fine-ish, sort of eatable without being savory as you’d expect in Italy. Prices more expensive than in French Riviera. By the sea which is always nice. But the service and the attitude are the worst ever experienced in Italy!!! Waited for food for over 30’. The dishes were brought at different times - kids have finished their dishes and we haven’t even started ours. I was still eating my pasta, when the plates of my friends were already carried away from the table. Just felt they wanted us out of from there. The waiter was nice but his span of attention close to zero.. either exhausted, or just unable to remember what was requested. Asked for a spoon for my pasta, never got it. After the meal, the kids were playing by the beach, my friend and I ordered coffees, but I had a bad idea to go to the restroom while waiting for my coffee and my friend left the table to make a photo of kids. Got back to the table after 2’ and it was already emptied, our kids’ belongings were put aside and new people were being sat at the table. They charged the coffee I asked for but carried it away without me being able to enjoy it at our table. They said the table was empty and that’s why they assumed we left. But our things were still on the table and as I went to the restroom just 2’. And then they wouldn’t even excuse themselves but explain us this is basically our fault because we left the table. To summarize, over-expensive for nothing, the food so-so and the attitude of the staff that is below respectful. Avoid if you can. (I never wrote a negative review to a place, but this one deserved to be shared, so took time)

Beach Club, bar and restaurant. The location of the bar and restaurant is really nice. If you like to enjoy the evening, having an "aperitivo" listening to good music, you can stay in the bar side. If you prefer a calm atmosphere, having a dinner in front of sunset, you can enjoy the restaurant side. I recommend to book before your visit if you would like to go there during the evening (especially during the weekend).

Cosy laidback beach. Staff are all very friendly, food is great! Lifeguard gentleman is really professional and does perfectly his job! A bit difficult to find parking around …

We had a really nice dinner at La Diavolina. Three of us ordered a pizza and the fourth a burger. The pizza were big and the topping was adequate but the burger wasnt as good as the pizza . The prices were very competitive and fair and the service was fast and the waiter very polite and professional. La diavolina is also famous for their selections af meat that can be cut to order and grilled including Angus. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and I would definitely go back there. Booking of the table it's recommended as the restaurant is always busy.

You will be standing there with the promise "we will prepare the table right now" for a half an hour being completely ignored with the half tables actually being free. Of course the reservation could've been done, but what for having half of the restaurant almost empty when majority of customers with reservations were already gone. Funny enough this was exactly suggested by one of the waiter couple of days before. So yes, the customers are not very welcomed there.

My favorite pizza in bordighera! Very good food. Beef skewers are excellent as well. The price is very cheap/reasonable, and the outdoor patio very cute.

If you are a meat lover you will love this restaurant. This place offers a good variety of meat with a good compromise between price and quality. Personally I suggest to try their "arrosticini abruzzesi". But meat is not the only strength of this place: the appetizers are very good as well and different from the usual ones. If you are planning to go there with someone that doesn't likes meat don't worry: you can also order a pizza and appetizers and sides satisfy also the vegetarian's preferences. Don't forget the very good home made desserts.

Lovely location, set by the sea side although the restaurant requires a massive redecoration. That said, it was quite an awful experience. Staff extremely rude they would privilege to serve first “their friends” and local customers over other new customers although if I would have had a pleasant experience I would have come here more often since I own a holiday property in this town. My experience: Winter time and so not so crowded as it would be during summer time, I have been sat at a table and I had to wait over 30 min just to receive a menu… the personnel wasn’t even looking towards me, after 30 min that I was waiting I complained about not having yet received a menu a waitress came to dress my table and gave me a menu, then I asked to order and she called the owner I have asked for a baked fish and his response on a rude tone was: “since you’re in a rush I can tell you that it takes 30 min to prepare a baked fish!” I ended up ordering some grilled calamari (the dish was very poor, not filling and definitely not worth the money!) as per picture… Food overall, very average… I would even be inclined to say that it was mediocre compared to all the tasty dishes you could eat in the area. Definitely not worth the price they charge. I haven’t yet tried the restaurants nearby on the promenade but I would imagine that it cannot reach any worse than that…

We were a party of four over three generations and a mix of anglophones and francophones. I chose Caranca because I could reserve the beach loungers on-line. We had previously been to Amera plage next door (in 2020) so we were familar with the excellent location. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly despite the language difference. The food was simple but excellent. We had a mix of sandwiches and salads and cold starters which the staff kindly served to us at our loungers. All in all it was an excellent day and we would definitely return. We spent just under 50 euros per person for a lounger each under the tonnelle (gazebo) and lots of food but no alcohol. We were there on a Monday in June so the season was not in full swing.

We tried to call and book the table but no one attended. So we decided to eat and other place but nevertheless achieved that place and entered to have coffee with desserts. But we were rejected.

Stopped for coffee only but it was a very pleasant place in the beach for a coffee break.

Avoid - unless you enjoy being abused while on holiday. They treat new visitors and strangers very unkindly, which is puzzling since they have a nice facility and lots of empty seats/shade on a well located and decent (though stony) beach. We spent a few hours driving the coast to find an ideal location with a restaurant and we were at first excited to find this one. Caution: if you chance it, definitely speak Italian (or try your best). Only one young man claimed to speak English (limited) and service was truly awful (we waited 30 mins for a menu and to order water while Italians around us who seemed like "regulars" and beach club members were served immediately). Questions we asked and were told "no": may we eat at our beach chairs? No (but a blonde Italian woman spent the afternoon bringing plates of food - including salads!- to her beach chair). May we have a drink on the beach (same deal, Italians were drinking all sorts of things we were denied), where can we shower? (directed to the one which cost a euro while others showered at the outdoor shower for free), and on and on. It was too bad, because other than this one bad experience, we really enjoyed our stay in Bordighera. :(

We dined here for lunch every day of our stay in Bordighera, and we can't wait to return. The exquisite simplicity of shrimp and calamari al fresco on the Italian Riviera, along with an icy draft Moretti beer, is impossible to beat.

Was coming here every day in the last week since its the closest place near our hotel, the long waiting time was almost understandable since its crowded, till we saw a couple coming long after we arrived and getting served before us, and it happened multiple times. The thing that made us completely avoid this restaurant in the future, finding some dirt stuck on the bottom of a wine carafe that we almost drank.

What a beautiful place and lovely staff. Was treated with kindness and hospitality as soon as we entered, felt like royalty! Great choice of food and drink. The chef knows his stuff and staff know how to show a good time. We nearly missed out not finding it on Google but stumbled across it and it has really made our holiday memorable. Wish we visited sooner. Thank you for a fantastic time.

Very nice location. But a lot has changed since we last were here before Corona. No more Pizza's. The level of the restaurant has been scaled up. Service matches the level the new owners aim for. Food is really good. And the amuse bouche is the treat it's supposed to be: it's inspiring. There is room for improvement, but I'll adress these minor points in an email. We had a wonderful meal and a good time.

Think you should choose if you are a Bar or upscale Restaurant . Food was un tasty , portions super small . One prawn 🍤 25 euros , you must be out of your mind . It’s Bordigera not Monaco . I’m sure you won’t last long and for sure we will not recommend you.

The plate of crudo shared with my husband is amazing. I then followed with the filet rossini with its spinach and mushrooms. And finished with the chocolate dessert. The location of the restaurant is fantastic, the service is attentive, everything was perfect!

Wonderful food with an exquisite combination of flavors in every dish. The atmosphere was very cozy, and during our dinner there was live music with very pleasant singing. The staff was very attentive and made us feel truly welcome. We’ll definitely come back to try other dishes.

San Marco is a fantastic upmarket restaurant right on the beach at Bordighera and you are guaranteed a fantastic view over the sea 😁 The food here is really good, excellent pizzas (the gourmet pizzas are served on slate) and the pasta is also really good 👍 Unfortunately most of the staff don't speak English (one or two can) and the menu also is only in Italian with no online version available which you could use translation on but we managed Lastly the music playing from the bar next door was very loud and all night long, perhaps this was party night and you may be fine but it was very loud (good party music but we came for food not pizza) so be aware Overall very good and recovered 😁

Do you have kids? This is your dream beach. They have a separate kids playground on sand, with shade, and lots of play houses etc. There is also a pool and of course beach access. Although the beach is mainly stones there are areas with very fine stones so it is alright. In this region it is an ideal place for any family with kids. It is incredibly popular in the high season (July - August) so reserve to be sure you will get a sun chair!

I went to this beach this summer with my girlfriend for a few days. Unfortunately, I honestly expected to find something better than what I found during my stay. Starting with the staff at the entrance, the woman who should give the keys to clients looked to be a bit annoyed by our presence. I instead found the owner to be very careful to details but what I didn't find to be fair is that there is a sort of distinction between people who are given a place in the first rows of the beach and instead other people who are treated less carefully and almost with contempt, by being given last rows' spots. Furthermore, the thing that bothered me the most are the lifeguards. I am talking about the ones that worked on the right side of the beach. They are very rude people, and what I noticed is that some people used to even give them tips during the day in order to have the first row's spots guaranteed for the next year (that's what some people told me, correct me if I'm wrong). Finally, I do not find fair that some services are not included in the price (which is pretty high in my opinion). I'm talking about facilities like canoes and pedalo (which I heard they are free at the beach on the left of S. Marco which should be called Maoma. I didn't have the time to go there but for sure I'll try it next year in case I'll come to Bordighera again, being it less expensive and with a nice restaurant too), and what I find extremely hilarious is that if you do not come back exactly within the time you have payed them for (I'm talking about a range of a few minutes) you get a scold by the lifeguards. Last thing, kinda annoying also the stay of old people at the tables...it's almost impossible to find a seat during the afternoon (can we find a solution for next year maybe?). That said, not sure I'll go back but I'll be grateful in case you'll be able to improve these things. See you guys!!

You can’t go wrong! Try this place for a meal or just afternoon coffee. If you see my other reviews you’ll know I’m a foodie and avoid popular overpriced tourist traps. At Zenzero you’ll eat well and don’t have to spent too much. We ordered avocado toast and salmon followed by desert. Ingredients were super fresh and tasty. The salmon was marinated in beetroot juice which gave it a nice unexpected earthy flavor. I really enjoyed it. It was served w coleslaw and toast. Absolutely perfect for a summer afternoon if you don’t want something heavy. We were attended by the owner Valentina. She was super polite and showed her concept store to us. Who doesn’t love shopping for little cute things while waiting to be seated? It showed she cares about giving her guests a different experience if they have to wait for a table. They also didn’t tell us they were about to close when we walked in. They hosted us w care. True Italian hospitality! 🙏🏻 Simple menu, great food, friendly service and above all affordable. The concept store was the cherry on top! ❤️

So glad we just happened across Zenzero. We had an absolutely stunning lunch. Super tasty complimentary starter, amazing homemade pasta (highly recommend the Gorgonzola ravioli), excellent friendly service plus very interesting conversation from the father of the lady and gentleman that run the establishment. Sadly we are moving on tomorrow or would definitely be back to try some of the other dishes. Food really is superb quality.

Ristorante Del Capo is an excellent restaurant that truly justifies its five-star rating and is one of my most enjoyable dining experiences. We got to Bordighera at dusk and were searching for a place for dinner. We chanced upon Ristorante Del Capo and they told us that they were serving a chef’s special menu - Bollito Misto - that day. It was a wondrous experience - 2 starters, bollito misto paired with a wide variety of dipping sauces including the most amazing pesto (even by Lingurian standards), very well-made tortellinis (delicious filling, delicate skin) in the mild bollito misto broth, and free flow of panna cotta and chocolate almond pudding - all for 55 eur per person. The wine was also well-recommended, delicious and reasonably priced. The service was also outstanding. Guiseppe (Pino (or maybe his name is Pinella given the italian reviews?)) was simply the loveliest, full of smiles and had so much pride in the bollito misto and the food he was delivering. He was just so full of positive vibes. Carlotta was also really helpful and can speak English and explain the dishes well. The young chef also came out to cut the bollito misto pieces as well as serve dessert. Good food, outstanding service, reasonable (almost too reasonable) pricing - Ristorante Del Capo is a true gem of a restaurant. I hope more people try it - it is a really lovely restaurant and while it may be a tad more pricey than some of the restaurants in the surrounding area, if you’ve travelled such a long way along the Italian riviera I think it makes sense to spend a bit more and and really get something refined and really nice that is fitting for the price. I still think of my experience fondly and I hope to come back again to try the other dishes that they have to offer.

We are staying nearby and went here on our first evening as it had good reviews, was close to us and a good priced menu. We have already been back as it was so good the first time. They have a la carte options, but the best value are the 2 main 'semi-fixed' price menus which allow you to add some dishes as supplements. Busy on a Tuesday night in November with locals... Very rude waitress, we were seated and during our 20 minutes wait we told her like 10 times that we are ready to order but she just kept telling us that she is coming but was serving the local people even the ones they were coming after us! It was a Friday and it was busy but as a restaurant you have to prepare for busy evenings or just say that we are fully booked but don’t waste people’s time….

Pizzas and pastas here are delicious and amongst the very best in Bordighera. The staff are efficient and kind, and they ensure that their customers are happy. We go here often when we are in Italy, and their food never disappoints!

Really good 👍 Just perfect, hand made pizzas cooked in a wood fired oven (the traditional way) and delicious 😋 Not a massive menu but everything is good 👍 I would much prefer a short menu but full of good things rather than a long menu filled with stuff that is a waste of space or just to make the menu look more appealing to tourists They have just the right amount of choice, the staff are friendly and the food is excellent What more can you say 👍 Recommended 😁

Beautiful place

Very bad and unfriendly people, reacted hostile when I did not speak Italian but English and/or French. I asked for gluten free pizza which they do not have, which is okay. I asked if they were willing to cook a portion of gluten free pasta for my little daughter (who has celiac disease) which I always have with me for emergency situations in my bag (as we could not find a gluten free place). I also told them they could charge anything they want for cooking my pasta and all others of our group would also eat their pizza. They were highly unfriendly (if not hostile and arrogant) first and then just started ignoring me. It is ok that they do not want to do it, but c'est la ton qui fait la musique. Very, very bad experience. They seem to not only hate foreigners, but also children and helping others or at least treat them with some respect seems to be impossible for them.

I've come here multiple times—first three years ago and again recently—and I consistently savor the food, whether it's pizza, pasta, or calamari; everything is truly delightful. However, I feel it was even better in the past. The staff remains welcoming, and all in all, it provides excellent value for the price.

We only went once, we only ordered one pasta dish each, but it was good. Very authentic seeming. And fun communicating with the two staff in our very fractured Italian and their even more broken English.

This restaurant is the perfect compromise between price and quality. Personally I suggest to choice between the pizzas and filets. Take note: here the pizzas are different from the standard pizzerias, the way used to prepare it is the "tegamino", it means that are made as the Italians use to prepare the pizzas at home. If you prefer to have a filet I recommend you to choose the "filetto alla bordigotta". If you want to be sure to have a table will be better to book it prior to go. The personnel is very friendly. P.S. don't miss the "Nutella Tiramisu" as dessert.

Perfect. It is not easy to find a restaurant whose services, atmosphere, price, and tasty of the food are all excellent. But here it is.

Brilliant 😁 The pizzas here are baked on a tray or skillet, not the conventional wood fired oven so the pizzas are more American style instead of traditional Italian However the pizzas are really good, bit of a crunch to the base but that's not a bad thing and it's really good service also Considering we got here late Christmas Eve it was the only pizza place open (recommended by the locals) and yes it's not the normal pizza but it's definitely worth a try Recommended 😁

The right place of you e qnt to taste the typical "Farinata". Every Friday night don't miss the happy hour. Nice place to spend good time and meet good people.

The menu is not what you can find on the internet. Mostly pizza. The pizza was completely soggy, tinned mushrooms, processed mozzarella (not the real thing). Mostly inedible. The wine was unpleasant. The waitress was sullen. Not a good experience.

Did not expect that pizza here will be that good. We took 2 special pizzas for 12€ each and both of them were delicious. The restaurant itself is very cozy and the service is good as well. Would definitely be back here 😊

We stopped here for lunch and they were very accommodating and friendly. Pizzas were excellent and the atmosphere inside was lovely.
