This is 100% the location of Hub Coffee Roasters to visit, on Riverside. Great ambience and nice views. Note that it is primarily outdoor seating with very limited indoor seating. The espresso itself is good but not amazing. They still produce a pretty good latte, and again, the ambience is really nice. Service was acceptable. This is a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

This is my favorite spot to get coffee and go for a walk in Reno. Beautiful location and very inviting coffee shop. Their espresso is very good. I thought it was expensive at first but then I realized they put a double shot of espresso in all of their drinks and that's what they're priced at. I have tried their iced espresso and a few lattes and it's always a win. I also love that they don't charge extra for oat milk. And the staff are just the best!

Great place for a coffee if you’re just passing through town, it’s close to I 80 but great chilled vibe by the river. Lots of seating and fast service. And a good selection of pastries.

Wish the chairs were more comfy. Also would like another milk alternative as I don't like my coffee to taste like oatmeal. Other than that it's a great little spot next to the river and had good little nibbles and the coffee was great. Good service.

As one of the few places open at 7:30 in the morning, I was happy to find this cute little coffee shop! The barista was so helpful and sweet! The coffee was just all right, and the pastries looked good although I didn’t buy any. I would definitely recommend stopping in to try it!

Visited here from out of town. Located in local neighbor neighborhood streets. Basic coffee selection, eco friendly cups, freshly made pastries. I’m an almond croissant fanatic and found myself really liking their almond croissant (thick filling).

This super chill coffee shop has a great atmosphere and wildly creative drinks that will make you feel better any time of day! We enjoyed the cucumber mint matcha and ube latte before an afternoon hike - both highly recommended!

I always enjoy the coffee here, but I’m disappointed to see the shop allowing political messaging. It doesn’t build community — it divides it. This should be a place where people from all walks of life can feel welcome, not somewhere that pushes one side or the other. I hope you’ll consider focusing on what truly brings people together: great coffee, friendly service, and a space everyone can enjoy.

Coffee is great and reasonably priced. You can even bring your own thermo for $1 discount. The only downside is that it’s so popular that it tends to be crowded.

Terrible service! Too expensive! I ordered 2 small almond milk hot chocolates and a small chi latte To Go. $17.50. I tipped $4 When they called my name I went to the counter to see three of the smallest cups I've ever seen! No to go container or lids. I told the kid... I ordered to go. He replied those are to go cups. He pointed to lids and stack of to go trays! I proceeded to put the lids on overflowing with liquid tiny cups! Overflowing liquid! Then tried to pull a to go tray that were all stuck together. Left in disgust! I will never go back to that dump! And will tell everyone!

Some FANTASTIC coffee. I got the pour over Ethiopian Blend, and it is served in a nice glass and tastes amazing. I usually have half and half with my coffee. I don't need it for this.

I love this coffee shop! My absolute favorite in all of Reno. The northwest location is also solid. The very first time I got to-go coffee here, it spilled all over me because of a faulty lid. The barista was so kind and got me a new one and I’ve been coming back ever since. Their seasonal specialties are always unique and delicious and the shop itself is a beautiful space to have a nice quiet sip. I always recommend this place to tourists and friends alike.

Excellent latte and solid study/work vibe with a lot of indoor seating available. Fast WiFi. They use quality coffee beans here. This is probably my favorite latte in Reno.

Please patronize this outstanding shop! Wonderful owner and cashier/server. One of the only places in Reno with actual brewed coffee! Fourth place I went looking. Other "coffee" shops are pouring hot water in espresso. I'm in Reno, not Paris. Oh, it tastes great, too.

Wanted to try a local coffee shop and was hugely disappointed. No menu or information given, our order experience was a guessing game. Told “no menu” and was stared at. Americano tasted watered down and my mystery smoothie tastes like a jar of strawberry jam. Food quite literally tastes like play food. We were so excited to try but unfortunately it’s a pass.

Sweet little shop tucked away in an office building. We stayed across from the Aces Stadium and discovered this local spot right there. We would much rather enjoy a local coffee shop than a big chain. Good coffee and very friendly service. I bought some pretty cards from a local artist, too.

April 2024: Stopped by for a cup of coffee and tried the medium roast. Notes were balanced. Service was friendly and fast. Would definitely come back again.

Always friendly service...enjoy that very much. All kinds of teas, coffees and food. Bagels, muffins, keto egg bowls ( favorite) Also shirts, sweatshirts and fidget spinners...bottled drinks, and protein bars... Lots of yummy!

PARK ON THE SOUTHERN HALF OF THE PARKING LOT OR RISKED BEING TOWED. I'm giving this place a temporary 5-star because what little I've had was fantastic. I had a hot mocha with peppermint and toasted marshmallow syrup. Coming from someone who spent the last 3 years in Seattle, this coffee tastes close to what I would expect it should—which is surprisingly hard to find around here. I'll update this review if my mind changes on that. One negative that I think needs to be addressed, but won't cost a star, is better out door seating. More umbrellas at tables and more tables in general I think is what this place needs. Take advantage of that nice view!

Light house coffee is nestled in the Sparks Marina area where you can eat/drink inside or out, both, while enjoying a view of the Marina and the mountain scape beyond. Although, I was expecting to have a cup o' Jo, I ended up having a delicious strawberry smoothie. I love a coffee shop with options. I'm going to bring Rocky, my shih-tzu dog, next time I go, as you can sit outside with your furry little friends. This will be my go-to coffee shop when I'm in Sparks NV.

This coffee shop is run by a great crew. They serve excellent coffee in a welcoming atmosphere. The view of the lake and the mountains is awesome. The lounge area is a pleasant place to socialize. The special drinks are flavorful and unique, created by the staff.

The Lighthouse Coffee Shop is a nice little coffee shop on the Sparks side of Reno. Unfortunately, the menu isn’t particularly innovative, which is something I usually look forward to going to small coffee shops, but what drinks they do have, they seem to do well. I got an iced white chocolate mocha, and it was nice and sweet, but not so much that it drowns out the flavor of the espresso. That, along with wifi and a charming atmosphere and beautiful lakeside scenery make The Lighthouse Coffee Shop a delightful spot to study or hang out.

AWESOME local coffee shop. There’s espresso beverages, blended coffees and teas, and plenty of “other” juices and smoothies. It’s a peaceful place to meet or study or just relax. The marina view is incredible! Highly recommend. Update: Its much newer and nicer since we last visited. There’s amazing seating options inside and outside along the Marina. Menu is still great, service is still great, and we’ll keep visiting when we’re in Reno.

Coffee by the Marina; it can’t get any better. Lighthouse is my favourite cafe in this town; I’m surprised to find this cute little place by the water. It’s not like the best cafe in North America; though for a place like Reno/Sparks, lighthouse is certainly a 5 ⭐️. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Got tired of hotel coffee and decided to take a walk to this cafe next to the Truckee River. I’d been here years before, and it would appear they’ve done a revamp of the interior. Once giving alternate coffee shop vibes, the interior is now that if a Restoration Hardware store. But, we’re here for the coffee, right? The drip coffee is good. I’m not a Starbucks customer. Ever. At all. If that’s what you like then you may not like this place. I also had a vegetarian breakfast burrito. There was enough to feed two people with a decent appetite, and enough for three with lite breakfast appetites. It was delicious! The mushrooms and onions were perfectly caramelized, combined with scrambled eggs, a few potatoes diced and just enough cheese as not to overwhelm everything else. Could have used salt, but I’m a less is more person. So, salt lovers, get out your shakers. I avoided the sterile interior by sitting out on their sunny patio. Before I forget: customer service was friendly and attentive.

Oh my goodness, I have to tell you about this incredible place I just visited! My boyfriend and I had the most amazing time there! The ambiance was so inviting and the food was out of this world! We tried the Vegan French Toast and the Vegan Quesadilla, and let me tell you, they were absolutely phenomenal! I'm still dreaming about the flavors! And if that wasn't enough, the Vegan Brekky Burrito was just as delicious! But the real highlight of our visit was Angelina's incredible customer service. She made us feel so welcomed and special, it was like we were old friends catching up. I cannot recommend this place enough, you have to check it out!

We ordered regular coffee, matcha late, burrito, and vegan quesadilla. They were all good! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Several seating inside. There’s some parallel street parking outside. It’s by the park and occasionally there’s awkward homeless people. If you wanna avoid them, indoor seating is best.

Absolutely delicious, fast and adorable little Cafe! Within walking distance to all the fun and games, this place is perfect for a late breakfast or brunch after night on the town. We ate the Jacked Up Eggs n' Toast, 10/10 recommend! Also, best iced Chai tea I've had in a long time!

Oh. My. Gosh. I don't think I've ever eaten a better composed quesadilla in my life. Wow. I really don't think I would be recommending this item from the menu on the spot if I wasn't this amazed. Sitting outside, covered seating, listening to the sounds of the river, random chatter of people - very relaxing. Great random choice to stop by. Would absolutely recommend.

Barista Lauren was super friendly with a great attitude. Had the large Mexican Mocha and it was really tasty. Also, you must try the Jacked Eggs & Toast sandwich, it's really good.

We love Homage! It is always such a treat to go there for brunch and take some of their baked goodies home! (All homemade with such skill.) It is absolutely one of the beat restaurants in Reno!!

Stopped in to try them out, and it was good. I'm not huge on coffee but sampled my hubby's mocha and it was amazing. My veggie wrap took quite awhile to arrive but nevertheless it was also very fresh and tasty. I took a dessert to go and it was very rich and delightful. Definitely would've paired well with one of their hot coffees. Overall vibe is very chill. A walk-up to kind of spot since parking is wherever you can find on the street. Not a big deal, since it's in a pedestrian friendly area just something to keep in mind.

An unexpected pleasure though quite expensive. The sandwiches were savory and crispy, and the cookies were delightfully sweet. The interior aesthetics bring out a clean yet rustic feel.

They really have perfected their cheesecake recipe here. The base crust has been consistently outstanding. They get away with many different types cheesecakes solely on their perfect cheesecake preparation. Texture wise, they are soft and creamy but firm enough to hold its shape while you dig in with every bite. I visit often and continue to be delighted by their cheesecakes.

Delicious! Stopped in before my flight, and glad I did. The croissant is freshly baked, and the egg scramble warm and tasty. The mocha was half sweetened like I requested and is large and yummy. Staff were all smiles and welcoming and they have a lovely outside patio where you can hear the birds sing while you enjoy your meal. Recommended!

The drinks are all amazing! Even the seemingly weird 'innovative' section of the menu. The croissant scramble was a scrumptious delight. Their tomato bisque is another thing that truly stood out.

Bibo makes the best coffee I’ve ever had, hands down. I’m not even kidding. I have no idea how they do it, but it’s on a whole different level. I’ll happily go out of my way for one of their coffee splurges!

First time here for us. The wife ordered an iced latte which she really liked. My son ordered a half chocolate and half mint chip gelato. He enjoyed it. I had the half rasberry and half almond oat milk gelato. That rasberry gelato was very good. It had pieces of rasberry in it. Nice touch. The place is a little hidden but worth the visit.

It's really hard to give a bad review to a coffee shop... I have to say the coffee was bla, the atmosphere meh and the employees have no clue about their product. I asked: Are you roaster? We are not, no. Where is the coffee from? Downtown Where is the tea from? I don't know, we get it in a big bag and sell it in smaller ones. It is hard as I LOVE coffee... But skip this place, there are better places in Reno.

To any glorious morning or dragging your feet type of morning. This place makes me the happiest parent, co-worker, and mother because their baristas are kind and very dedicated to the expertise blend of an outstanding coffee. I highly recommend their hazelnut mocha, dirty chai (is out of this world savory), and their snow piercer!

My boyfriend would never in his life order an almond milk latte. But our barista asked if almond milk was okay as the default. He hesitantly responded that was fine… I knew at that moment that I’d be drinking his latte. Hah! Boy I was wrong.. my boyfriend LOVED HIS DRINK and kept insisting I try it (despite being full from breakfast). He’s not wrong!! This is one of the best lattes we’ve had in awhile. Great quality and well made! Still can’t believe my boyfriend actually likes it. Mind blown so I guess that’s a testament of how good this place is. So good!

Small of the beaten path coffee shop. Good small coffee shop, they offer a lot of the great flavored coffee the other popular shops offer, but with the more personal feel of the small shop, and better prices.

Absolutely great coffee shop. I have a solid home espresso set up That can pull shots better than most cafés. So what it takes for me to really like a place is not only greatest espresso, but also good atmosphere and preferably human interaction rather than a bunch of drones, staring at their laptops. Happy to say that magpie not only had greatest espresso and tea, but I also had a great interaction with the person working. Some other reviewer said some BS about the staff not being friendly, I think what they wanted was saccharin, I’d imagine they’re also the kind of person who puts 16 pumps of garbage in their milkshake, I mean, latte

Exactly what I was looking for - no frills semi industrial establishment that small batch roasts and prepares primo goods. Knowledgeable and friendly barista gave me the low down on the local scene while making the latte art look easy!

We were looking for a breakfast place and the reviews were good. After a nice walk we ended up at Walden's and had a nice breakfast. It's a converted house with somewhat limited seating but the food was good and we enjoyed our time.

The burrito, while very aesthetically appealing, was so disappointing flavor-wise. The eggs were grainy and super overdone, the carnitas were very dry, and it was overall just kind of bland. Even with the addition of sour cream and avocado (which are extra), still dry. Again, it LOOKS so good in photos! Those panini chars are gorgeous. The pastries were really mediocre as well. We got a scone, which was underbaked, and a chocolate chip cookie, which was meh. Beautiful location, clean space, lovely staff, which were the redeeming factors.

A bit overpriced for food. The macwalden was ok but $9 for what is basically a McMuffin with better ingredients seemed steep. Cappuccino was ok. Friends breakfast burrito had bacon that did not seem fully cooked in it.

We received free drinks in exchange for posting a google review. Nice place! We got a cappuccino, oat milk latte, cinnamon bun, and smashed egg and sausage sandwich. Drinks and food were served in paper/plastic and plastic cutlery- no dishes like in the other photos. Drinks were nice. Cinnamon bun seemed undercooked and doughy but flavors were good. Egg sandwich was really good. A few outdoor tables in the front.

If you are debating on trying this place out, stop debating and just go try. It It is super delicious The Cafe de La olla has such an authentic taste and is so delicious. It'll make you want more. The owner is super helpful. so glad I found this little joint.

I had driven by this place hundreds of times and always wanted to stop by. Today I finally did and I was positively surprised. This is larger than it looks like from the outside and the interior was nicely decorated and there was a very nice vibe. The music was Latin inspired and not too loud. We only had coffee and the coffee was great. Would definitely recommend this to anybody who is nearby.

My bff and I loved this place! Everything we ordered was delicious. I got the cafe con horchata and Maria’s toast, and my bff got the cucumber mint agua Fresca and tica toast.

Discovered this in downtown Reno during a recent trip, and it’s the first coffee place / restaurant I’ll return to on any future visit. Enjoyed an excellent butterscotch cappuccino, and Melanie’s Croque Madame was a great breakfast. Service was great, and they re-made an item for me on my second visit. Spacious. Found an outlet for my computer. Atmosphere is great too, with the art all around, good music, I think maybe some games too.

They have scones that aren't baked until you order them. Talk about fresh. The breakfast sandwich and caramel apple with cinnamon croissant were wonderful. Such a fun atmosphere with local artists' art on the wall for sale.

Love this place!! I usually stop by in the weekday evenings, so the selection for food I encounter is their savory and dessert pies! The atmosphere is quiet and dimly lit, and not busy at all whenever I visit. It's an ideal place for dates or introverts. ☺️ Food is SO good and heavenly, sure it takes some time to receive, but all good things take time ☺️ looking at the art on the walls makes the wait go by faster! Food is affordable, quality and filling! They have art to buy (from previous classes I think) and they're affordable and lovely!

Wow!!! The Shirred Eggs were to die for!! The egg yolks did not hold up to delivery well. They were hard by the time they got to me but it doesn't even matter. The delicious flavor was enough to make up for it. The Kale Salad or Spring Mix Side Salad was amazing! The dressing was so flavorful. The homemade BBQ sauce that came with the Baked Sweet Potato Fries was superb!! I can't say enough about this place. You know a place is good when you don't have to add salt to the food and when even the condiments are delicious.

So happy this place was across the street from our hotel. The free coffee at the hotel was horrible so we walked across the street to this little gem. The tall young guy at the counter was so nice and helpful. We got the wellington pie and the Shirred eggs. Both were so delicious and the coffee was just what we needed to start our day. We are excited to go back to try the strawberry flowers and the charcuterie

Local business in the beautiful Riverwalk district here in Reno. It is a sip and paint venue, and I must say this place has a really cool aesthetic compared to your average cafe. Staff is really nice and the business owner is very graceful and in all the time. The pricing is really good in today's economy. They do painting classes and hang up the canvases from the teachers or best paintings while having a good time with their own specialty cocktails. Coffee is good, very fresh but not unique compared to the other aspects of the business. They also don't have someone on staff who knows how to do latte art, which is kinda ironic. Food is very good tho with creative recipes and a French kinda menu. I've seen some inconsistency in my orders. But since it's a small business. I still give it 5 stars for the shirred eggs, croque madame, and pop up pies. They also get their coffee beans from midnight up the street, which is really cool, considering they are a local roaster downtown.

Coffee was decent - not bad nothing special, the croissant was fresh and lovely even if VERY overpriced. I had planned to work here a bit but it was impossible. The music is aggressive, loud and distracting. Even worse was the very bored employees standing around complaining about how long it was going to be (many many days apparently) until they had a day off. It was a miserable atmosphere so I left to go elsewhere and will not return.

Friendly staff. Good wifi. Good selection of snacks and foods. Modern, clean and well designed layout and decor. This place is better than any Starbucks. Not pretending to be better, actually better in all ways.

We walked in Leeann greeted us with a smile. She laughed at all my jokes. I asked for a triple shot white mocha. The coffee shop both splendid atmosphere with some exercise art on the walls for sale. I love the heat up for the restroom was a nice touch.

I recently had a mix up, the staff was rude and did not help me solve my issue. I specifically described what I wanted on the phone to them and told the people I don't know what it's called she then confidentially said she knew what one and shouted out a name and I said yeah if that's what's it's called I'm not sure I just know what's on it. I picked up my order, the customer service was okay but not a welcoming vibe. She gave me a completely wrong order, I only noticed when I got back to where I was going. I called and ask if I could come in and get what I originally wanted to order since I'm dairy free and they gave me the wrong order. One girl said sure let me see and proceeded to hand the phone to the girl who took my call and she came on the phone aggressively saying I HEARD YOU YOU ORDERED THE BLAH BLAH BLAH. I said no I specifically told you what was on it and that I didn't know what it was called, they told me to go read their menu online and then informed me that what I was ordered was not on their menu anymore because they changed ownership and staff. I can clearly say this place was way better as jostella. Rude staff. Waste of my morning. Don't go here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kindness lives here. Stopped in this morning during a long dog walk, just hoping to find a pet-friendly spot. What I found instead was a small moment of real human kindness—and it made my whole day. Alison, the barista, was incredible. She noticed I had my hands full (literally) and didn’t miss a beat. She offered my dog a treat without interrupting, brought my coffee out to me, and when I realized I forgot to ask for cream, she went back in to grab it—with a smile. That kind of patience and thoughtfulness is rare. It wasn’t just “good service.” It was someone choosing to be kind, even when they didn’t have to. If you’ve ever tried finding a welcoming place with a pet in tow, you know how rare that is. Alison—thank you. This spot has officially earned a place in our morning rotation. 🐾☕

I was in from out of town and a local resident took me here. Nice spot and the people working were very nice. Coffee was good and my colleague had a smoothie, also good. Smaller sized drinks but solid spot, lots of seating and a little area off the side to relax and enjoy your beverage.

I went for the first time last week and I am truly impressed. Management and the employees go above and beyond to make sure the customers are satisfied. The atmosphere is fun and comfortable. I highly recommend Swill Coffee and Wine.

Really funny visiting this place! Owner thinks he can tell customers what to do and how to do it. Came here at 8:30am, not a single customer, I get told where I should and should not sit. I listened first time. Then hour later, I get asked to move again when plenty of open tables available. At this point, I just left! Food was not fresh and eggs tasted old. Way to run a hospitality business

10/10 recommend! The staff are so welcoming and there’s many coffee/tea options on their Turkish inspired menu. Who doesn’t love Turkish delight too?? Seasonal but for sure get the cornbread latte if you want a lil sweet treat.

We ordered the PB+J latte and the cardamon latte. Both of them were silky smooth, not too sweet, and had a nice natural subtle flavor of what we ordered. You can still appreciate the taste of the coffee without the add on flavors to be too overpowering. Both the cashier and barista were very friendly and knowledgeable. We could tell that they really care about their craft and providing a great experience for their customers. The logo of the store is adorable, so we decided to get one of their mugs, too! It was only $10 for this cute and lasting souvenir. This is a great stop for coffee and more when in Reno.

First time here today & it was 10/10! The coffee options are excellent. Espresso is smooth & strong. I had an iced cardamom latte which was amazing & the seasonal on the Cobb latte was an interesting pick & SO good. The free Turkish delights are a sweet treat and the barista was friendly, personable & quirky. This place is awesome and one of the better coffee places in Reno!

Such a cute café. It was my first time and I got an Iced Chai and their Pangolin Liege. The staff were super friendly and the items I got were delicious. 10/10 recommend.

Stopped by Pangolin Café today — overall, a pleasant experience. The ambiance is cozy with a relaxed vibe, and the staff were warm and attentive. I ordered a cappuccino and a slice of cake; both were nicely done (good balance in flavour, not too sweet).

Exceptional and unique beverage spot, with lovely and attentive staff. I can’t drink coffee often, so I get very excited about other choices on offer that are well made. This is the first coffee shop in the USA where I have encountered rooibos espresso! I lived in South Africa for a while and haven’t had one of these in fifteen years. Made my day. They also have excellent house-made spicy chai, and a variety of other fun looking tea options. The matcha is better elsewhere and I would avoid oat (and likely almond) milk here as they use Pacific brand, which has that funky aftertaste. Luckily they have Mac nut! The free Turkish delight is a fun wrinkle. This place is a delightful upgrade from your standard coffee shop vibe.

Very vibtant coffee shop to sit back and study or mingle with some nice friends and family. I really enjoyed the breakfast sandwhich! With my coffee which was a new one called golden i added pistachio flavor with it with oatmilk it was very delicious i ordered another for the road ! Thank you!

VERY good coffee. Taste is Comparable with the human bean, but definitely better than Starbucks. They close at 5pm, so if I’m in Reno before they close this will be my new go to place. I really enjoyed going to a coffee place I could get out of the car and walk into. Excellent customer service! My wife and I showed up well after closing. The owner herself met us at the door with a very welcoming and pleasant attitude, invited us in and made us a couple cups of VERY good coffee. I’ll always choose customer service over a drive through. To the owner: I had just been released from the hospital after surgery and had the worst coffee craving ever. You opened your doors to us and made it so I didn’t have to drive all over Reno trying to find a good coffee place. I asked for anything caramel, and you provided me with the best coffee. Thank you so very much. Went back again. Coffee was fantastic, and the staff were exceptional. When I went place was packed with people, which tells me this place is good all the time.

ADA Accommodation Request Denied I visited this coffee shop for a business meeting and requested that the music volume be lowered to accommodate my disability-related hearing needs. I explained this was an accessibility request under the Americans with Disabilities Act. The staff refused, stating it was “the manager’s preference” to maintain the current volume level. When I clarified that this was a disability accommodation issue and that people with disabilities should have equal access to public spaces, they apologized but maintained their refusal to make any adjustment. ADA Background: Under federal law, businesses must make “reasonable modifications” to policies and practices for customers with disabilities. Adjusting music volume is typically considered a reasonable accommodation that doesn’t fundamentally alter business operations. Impact: I was unable to conduct my business meeting due to the excessive noise level making conversation difficult for someone with my hearing needs. Looking Forward: I will return in the future and hope that this business will become more familiar with ADA requirements. Proper staff training on disability accommodations would benefit all customers who need accessibility support. This review documents an accessibility barrier for others who may face similar challenges.

I haven’t been here since it was Code Coffee. The change is really nice. I had a breve and breakfast sandwich. Both very good. Look for the outside seating through the back. A nice seating area with lots of trees and grass. See photos.

This place is so incredible! They have amazing coffee, the baristas are so accommodating and the coffee was DELICIOUS. I loved all the beautiful plants around, decorating the place. Can’t wait to come back!!

We had a really nice stay at The Jesse. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bath products were excellent. I appreciated that they provided a white noise machine and ear plugs to help with the ambient noise. The hotel is next to the downtown bus hub, and the rooms are right above the bar/restaurant, so there is quite a bit of noise, but we slept really well using the white noise and ear plugs. It's not an area I would want to be in alone at night, but we felt safe inside.

Went here just for a cocktail and dinner. The patio is amazing. Music is fun. Food is so good. Having the Mediterranean bowl with lamb meatballs and my cocktail is amazing : The Oracle of Delphi with mezcal grapefruit lime and thyme syrup served by a beautiful bar tender. Great experience. Will return. Indoor and outdoor ambiance and atmosphere is great.

It was located near the brewery district. Great customer service! We stayed in the Laughlin room. I loved the decorations in the room. The bathroom was beautiful. It had a bunch of towels and even a makeup towel. You can hear the city life at night, but my partner and I are used to that noise. They provided ear plugs and white noise machine just in case in the room. Free parking and wifi for guests.

Wow I left a review when we stayed 2 years ago, and it's gone. First, we got there about 6 cold and snow. It was Sunday, and they knew we looking forward to eating at the restaurant, but they didn't tell everything was closed. Restaurant across the street wouldn't let me order. Oh, and no elevator, just really long stairs. I barely made it, and disabled husband was stuck in the room after we got to it I had to walk two very iffy blocks to find a food truck. There is no staff at night. They provide earplugs in the rooms, and it was loud. In the morning, no one on site again, no breakfast or coffee. We had to wait 45 minutes for a cab, and almost missed our train. Yes the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was nice, but it's a converted factory, so the first floor has high ceilings, and a long set of stairs. That just ruined our stay.

We booked two nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were excited to experience what looked to be a cozy, comfortable hotel in an up and coming neighborhood. The hotel and staff were wonderful. We truly loved the aesthetic and felt well cared for. Unfortunately, the location of the property (busy corner, across from bus station, near homeless shelters) meant there was noise all night. Even though we used the earplugs and white noise machine provided in the room, I don't think we got more than an hour of sleep the first night. We were so wiped out, we decided to check out early the next day. There was no staff to talk to in the morning other than a barista so I texted the management to let them know. They replied with a sincere apology, but no offer of reimbursement for our unused night. I truly think this is a great property and the area does show promise. I wish the owners well, however anyone planning to stay there should know in advance what they're getting into in terms of the environment.

The room was beautiful but that’s all that’s was good with this stay. I booked on a third party website that allows to pay at the property while checking in. This hotel tried charging me twice two days before my stay. When we get there to check in, there is no front desk. We check in with someone at the bar. The bar and restaurant are currently closed and this was also not disclosed upon booking. The property charge me twice for my stay and I still haven’t received my refund. The information for the room states there will be someone there after 7:30 am and until 10pm. The man that took the money was the only person we saw and he left at about 6-7 both nights and was not there at 8 am when we awoke. The neighborhood is not safe and the homeless have taken over. The private lot they provide does not lock and had homeless sleeping. The signs state they are responsible for vandalism or theft because of their lack of security. Definitely won’t stay here again and may have to contact the BBB

Went in on Saturday night 2-22 and what a beautiful and elegant atmosphere yet really comfortable and cozy. Lighting was perfect and I've never met a more knowledgeable and great bartender, Niito. His ability to multitask while still being engaged and with all the customers in a friendly and generally interested manor without missing a beat of jumping in to each conversation while everyone was so interested in just talking to him. The rest of the staff was friendly as well but hands down will be going back while Nitto is on shift!!!

Amazing coffee with unique flavor combos! I ordered the pine nut spice latte and after the first sip, I feel alive again. Not super sweet. It’s just perfect. We will be back.

I just found my new favorite Coffee Shop. Had the pine nut latte, and Tahini Rose chocolate chip cookie. Delicious and they go together well.

DELICIOUS latte. The espresso is brewed to perfection- not bitter, not sour. I rarely am impressed by my first sip of a latte- I prefer cappuccino but I was tempted by the maple pecan offering and was so happy with my choice. Not too sweet like many flavored lattes are. Also loved the gf almond joy cake. So moist and flavorful! Service was fantastic. Barista carefully checks each drink- uses a clean spoon to take a small taste to confirm the quality. Can't wait to come back to this amazing and local and indigenous owned shop!

I'm impressed 👏 I enjoyed this coffee. it's very tasty. The aroma filled the air, and I knew I was in for a treat. The sage and mint latte a delicious cup of goodness. The sweet potato pine nutbread was amazing! Each tone of flavor from the ingredients is easily and equally tasted in each morsel. Nothing overpowers the other, giving each bite a trip to deliciousness. ☕️

Star Village Coffee is one of my favorite spots in Reno. The mocha is my go-to—it’s rich, smooth, and not too sweet. They have some really creative drinks too if you’re looking to try something different. The vibe is super chill with a nice setup for hanging out or getting some work done. They have free Wi-Fi, comfy seating, and the place always feels clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Definitely worth stopping by if you want good coffee and a good place to relax or be productive.

We stopped here on our road trip to California and it is such a lovely coffee shop!! I got a lavender matcha and my boyfriend got a blueberry lavender latte and both were so good! The employee working was so nice and helpful as well ☺️

Stopped in for a quick coffee, and are we so glad we did!! The vibe was so cool- warehouse meets coffee shop meets retail store. Both our coffees were fantastic. Then Scott told us all about the background and science of coffee which was very neat. We bought several bags of coffee beans and tea leaves and have been impressed. Wasn’t at all what we were expecting, but 1000% better!

My favorite coffee shop! We love this place! The coffee is some of the best coffee I’ve had! Besides the yummy coffee, I love that I can bring my 3 year old and he loves to play with the little Christmas village the owner has set up. I can’t recommend this place enough! The best cup of coffee in town, by far. I stopped in on a warm day and had their cold brew, which was exceptionally smooth. Also took home a bag of their Italian roast and am loving it. This place is a treat if you're a coffee lover. You get to soak up all the aromas and sounds of beans being roasted. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable, and you can tell they're passionate about what they do.

Came in for the first time and both the owners were friendly and very welcoming. Learned some fun info on coffee and had a fantastic dirty chai coffee. I also made some unexpected and welcome networking connections.

We were staying in the Nugget and were so glad that we could get coffee here instead of Starbucks! We got steam heated cold brews and chatted with the super friendly and nerdy in the best way owners. Will definitely return when we pass through Sparks again!

I highly recommend Scott and Glory Cloud coffee! The coffee is absolutely fantastic, and you can taste the quality in every cup. He offers many teas to select from and I also love the meaning behind the business name, "Giving it to God," which truly reflects the heart behind his work. We've been meeting at his shop for networking, and it's been a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is inviting, making it the perfect spot to connect with others. Beautiful ambience down at the basement. It's a great place to hang out and chill. Parking can he a hassle on the weekends , you will have to park on the streets, no dedicated parking lot.

Came by one morning for a quick drip coffee to go and was blown away by the flavor and freshness of it. I truly appreciate a place that doesn't skimp on simple offerings! Besides, the barista was very friendly and efficient. Downstairs in The Basement. Took me a minute to find, but cool place. Industrial chic.

Mikey is such a great guy to talk too. Always makes my experience a great time. Black coffee is always great at the best price in town. Also, Haley makes the best cinnamon rolls in town. Took five of my Cinnabon fanatic friends to try them out. They all loved it and agreed that every bite is like eating the warm and soft center piece of your traditional cinnamon pastry.

Global seemingly made some great moves in the past few years. This particular location is creatively stellar, and their product was amazing. If you hope to camp out for work in The Basement, where this location lies, be sure to hang out near the actual coffee shop; the wifi plays tricks if you’re too far from their router.

$6.00 for medium watered down coffee. They don’t even have an ice machine. The ice comes from an ice chest which is already kinda melted ice. Plus the dreaded “it’s going to ask you something” when turning the tablet around for the tip. Below average drinks, but great environment. Nice employees. $6.00 gets you better coffee elsewhere.

Their espresso is absolutely delicious and their Transcend drink was delicious. Staff were very sweet and welcoming! They also have very fun and unique branding! I actually hadn’t planned on getting coffee but the designs and unique drinks caught my eye and I’m so glad I did! I can’t wait to come back 😁

The server went above and beyond, even going in the very back of the mall to check for beans when she couldn't find any under the cabinet when we asked. The drinks were so good. We went back for a seconds! It was an awesome little coffee bar with dozens of syrups to try with plenty of roasts to make a delicious caffeinated drink.

The rose milk tea didn't taste like rose, just sugary black tea. Boba pearls at $1 extra were kinda soggy and not really chewy like they should be. My large cup was more than halfway filled with ice. Kind of regular fare overall and certainly not worth the $9.20 I paid for it plus tip. Apology but no receipt after I asked about the price, which for some reason had been displayed on the pay screen without tax, is the best I can determine. All in all, I don't see any reason to ever go back.

This place sucks. First when I went there it was dead,no one was there and no cook and no workers! So I waited um about 20 minutes and a miracle just happened,well ok not really a miracle because ONE person came in and just went to the kitchen to do something worthless! So I waited about 10 minutes and she took my order of a drink and took about another 20 minutes! So she took my order and went to the kitchen for 40 minutes and gave me my PLATE so I thought " Where's my order?"So took another 10 minutes and gave me my food. I thought this place would have wings that were juicy and saucy and thick. Well they weren't,they were hard and tiny and dry. The opposite why I came here! So I ordered BBQ sauce on the side. It was a tiny bit better but not good enough. So don't come here go somewhere else PLEASE!

The door was locked eventhough it was during their business hours. The staff were all hanging out at Ijji's Restaurant. We had to pound on the glass door. After a long 5 minutes later, finally the staff let us in to inside Ijji's and we sat inside Ijji's. Restaurant was cold. Service was lousy and chicken were mediocre. Wasn't happy there.

A hidden gem with serious nerd-core energy. Coffee and Comics inside the Renaissance was such a cool surprise! The vibe is super cozy and creative. Think shelves of graphic novels, collectible merch, and just enough quirk to make you want to linger. I didn’t get a chance to try the food this time, but that breakfast burrito is calling my name for next visit. Only giving 4 stars because this location has a smaller menu. I hear the other spots have cocktails, karaoke, and more, so I’ll definitely be back to explore those too. If you're into comics and chill coffee shop vibes, this one’s a must-visit.

What is the point? They have like 20 free comics to read from and no games to play. It’s literally just a hole in the wall selling legos. If you like to relax at the other locations playing games and socializing THIS IS NOT THE PLACE! I doubt they will be open for very long because there is no reason to come unless you want sprinkles in your frap without asking for them. They also did not have straws long enough for their drinks (see photo).

I like sweets, but I had to toss my small halfway through since it was hurting my stomach. Their comic selection was also limited to a handful of tattered issues anyone can get on free comic book day. If both the coffee and the comic are bad, what's left to enjoy?

Emmy & Rhonda were amazing! They were so kind, so friendly, and so helpful! And the drinks were top notch! Highly recommend trying it out if you are near the Renaissance in Reno!

Well I only went for the fun crowd & the music. I did have 3 wings with traditional Franks sauce.... delicious! Its changed a bit over the past few years. Next year I'll check out the bands before hand & bring a chair.

I can not handle spicy stuff we went to a few different stands and got there hottest wings and they were not spicy at all. Very disappointing.

The chicken was not at its best! Strawberry cheesecake chicken and salted caramel chicken was terrible. I tried some lemon pepper chicken that was extremely salty and bbq chicken that was bland in flavor
