Cafe
Jones Coffee Roasters is a family-owned coffeehouse with its own plantation in Guatemala. Located just south of Old Pasadena, this welcoming spot offers well-sourced, straightforward coffee in a warehouse space that feels like a living museum to all-things-beans. The eclectic decor reflects the company's mid-90s origins, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
Jones Coffee Roasters (est 1993) is a family run coffee company in Pasadena. I have been to their other shop on Mission street but this location on Raymond avenue is absolutely chic and artsy with cool atmosphere; it’s indoor decor has a rustic look and dim lit which is a perfect coffee date spot to bring someon3. Staff were competent and professional and drinks are reasonably priced. They have a compendious selection of coffee from blends to seasonal to decafs. Similarly, they have coffee bean bags, mugs, and decanter for sale. have plenty of indoor and outdoor seats. I had a hot Latte w/ whole milk. And it was perfectly made to my liking. Parking lot and street parking are available albeit very limited. I was lucky that I found a street parking spot. Overall, I enjoyed my coffee and their service. I’d definitely come back. I highly recommend this coffee shop.

Great coffee spot in Pasadena! During my Pasadena visit, I came across Jones Coffee Roasters. The cafe is very artsy with art all throughout. Very fun vibe! The menu consist of your basic coffee options, latte, espresso, Americana etc.. If you’re not a coffee lover, there are non coffee options. There's pastry options as well if you need a quick bite. I got an iced vanilla latte which was perfect and a warm buttered croissant. Yum! There's plenty of parking which is always a big deal for me. They have both indoor and outdoor seating as well. Go check it out!

Probably one of my favorite coffee spots in Pasadena. After seeing the new interior renovations, it appears to be a great lounge, wine spot. I had their matcha latte with whole milk. It had the perfect temperature, flavor and it was a well made morning drink. Overall a delicious start to the day. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items. Parking can get crowded during peak times, fyi.
Rodrigo “ — Google review
I want to start off by saying this place has excellent coffee. The espresso is amazing. However, the matcha is not it. It’s usually okay. However, today I got a cup of mostly warm milk. It was barely green, and it was more like a hint of matcha. So I paid 6+$ for a cup of warm milk with a hint of matcha. Basically if you go here, get a coffee based drink, and you’ll be happy.
Allie S — Google review
We live in LA and go to old mill foundation here sometimes, I always want to get a coffee on our way but so far we weren’t able to find nice coffee shop until today! Just randomly stoped by at this place and it was amazing, first it is a really beautiful older coffee shop with nice outside seating and filled with history of the place and sense of community inside, we god coffees and matcha and all tasted great! Service was nice and restrooms clean. So it will be our new favorite spot!
Kate S — Google review
I was looking for light-to-medium roasted beans for espresso without any milk. I am a skilled espresso barista and know what coffees I like. I bought three different kinds of beans from Jones, and none of them had good coffee highlight flavors. Most were over-roasted, but some we still reasonably light but lacked the flavors I expected from their origins. I wanted to like them, but I need to find a different and better roaster.
Tom G — Google review
Great place to get some coffee and do some work. Open space with an industrial vibe. Lots of seating indoors and out. Next to a few other businesses including a takeout pizza place. No wifi, which is actually really nice for focused work. Spotted some outlets so you can still bring your computer. Decently sized parking lot but it’s a very popular location so you might need to park on the street, part of the lot is taken for outdoor seating. Dog friendly, lots of greenery. Nice staff and decent prices. I tried a savory croissant (sage and cheddar I think?) and the lavender oat latte. Croissant was pretty tasty, a bit oily. Latte was a bit too sweet for me, but still good. Would definitely come back and try other things on the menu.
Ying L — Google review
I ordered an iced coffee. It tasted very good. The interior was interesting, even though the deco is not to my taste. Limited parking space (they created a patio in the parking area) and no a/c were backdrops when I rate this place. The croissant is dried.

Jameson Brown Coffee Roasters is a local gem founded by two friends with a shared love for coffee. What started as a home roasting venture has now grown into a spacious warehouse operation with cozy seating, exposed brick walls, and the delightful scent of freshly roasted coffee. They take pride in roasting their beans in-house and offer an array of specialty espresso drinks, from classics like cappuccinos to unique options such as pumpkin and snowball lattes.
Love this place. I just stumbled in one day to discover this beautiful oasis. I’m typically a drip black coffee guy but decided to try their “Orange Blossom Latte” as it sounded very unique…. And let me tell you!!!! My god am I glad I did. It was so wonderfully refreshing and delicious. What an awesome take an a latte. I absolutely loved it. And the atmosphere here is lovely, with your brewery-like vibes of twinkly lights and open spaces. Highly recommend.

This space is beautiful for a roaster and the flavors justify the means! I got my standard cortado which is my measurement for coffee quality and flavor outside of a pure espresso - and I must say, the amount of savory umami flavors from this cup was out of this world. There was an impressive bouquet and richness to every sip! My second cup, naturally, was to test the style and uniqueness of their creativity. That award goes to their Coconut Breve which was mind-blowing how flavorful and balanced it was. I was cautious that it might be too sweet but it was aromatic in its fruity coconut perfume but creamy, earthy, and with a touch of sweetness on the palate. Ambiance was clean, cozy and perfect for getting lots of work done. The staff was helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Overall this was a wonderful experience!
Jon Y — Google review
It's worth making the trip out here even without the dedicated parking. Right off the freeway, this gem offers some of the freshest coffee in town, given they roast their own beans in house, mere meters away from where you order. They offer a good blend of "fancy" drinks as well as drip and espresso for people who like to keep it OG. Good selection of pastries such as bagels, croissants, and the like. A lot of seating inside and a few seats outside as well.
Haotian X — Google review
I am never really in the Pasadena area but I wanted something light to eat and a good coffee. As soon as I walked in I saw Cafe de Olla cold brew. Had to have it. Wow! This is incredible! It pairs well with the almond danish I also got. Definitely worth coming here if you’re in the area. Close to PCC and the 210 freeway.
Alex G — Google review
A chic cafe with an abundance of coffee selections from different areas of the world. I ordered an Iced Vienna Latte and it was delicious. I can't wait to try more.

The best coffee is had when served by the best baristas, and in this case I mean Genesis. She was very understanding and patient about my indecision and helped me choose a drink that ultimately was one of the best things I’ve ever had. I definitely recommend this establishment but if Genesis isn’t working, they get a few points taken off. She really makes the space.
Bia P — Google review
Genesis is the friendliest barista! She recommended the coconut breve and it was....dare I say...AMAZING! The coconut is perfectly nutty 🤪 and not too sweet. I recommend getting the drink with whole milk and only come when Genesis is working. Seriously. Best service EVERRRR!!!!
Vanessa G — Google review
Jameson Brown is THE local coffee spot. Or maybe just the coffee spot period. It's a coffee roaster so it's a large space and a casual atmosphere (think industrial/brewery vibes). The coffee is so tasty. I'd recommend getting bags of beans here for presents or your home. You even get a free small drip coffee with a purchase of beans. They have soy milk which is my preference as well as many other milk/milk alternatives. They do fun seasonal flavors and have a lot of pastries (croissants, danishes, muffins, quick breads) and even some gluten free stuff (though the GF muffins are a bit too dense and dry IMO). Do not bring your dog as it's not pet friendly. Do bring your laptop if you'd like! Great for dates, working, or just solid delicious coffee.

We pass by this place whenever we go to Pasadena . I don’t know why we’ve never tried it . Well we finally decided to stop by for coffee one day in the late afternoon . It’s a cute spot right on the corner of old town Pasadena . Great service . Plenty of room inside . We ordered a hot honey latte. It was subtle not too sweet and just made very nicely . We’ll have to come back and try their food . We were checking out some of the plates and it looked delicious 🤤 . We will come back for sure !

This place is the top coffee shop in old town Pasadena. They have a large selection of coffee and tea, as well as some nice food options for breakfast or lunch. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The interior is very large with tons of seating. Overall great place to grab a coffee or bite to eat and just chill.

Ahhhh….what the heck!? This was one of the best burritos I’ve had in a long time! 🤯🌯 I stopped in for a quick lunch and went with the brisket lunch burrito. The side sauce was delicious and the burrito itself was so good! The service was fantastic and the food came out quickly as well even though they appeared to be fairly busy 👏🏼👏🏼 I will definitely be back!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

-1 star only because they charge $1 for milk alternatives, which is so backward imo. Vegan breakfast sandwich was delicious! Iced vanilla latte tasted great too. Plenty of seating, fast and friendly service. Bike rack outside.
Arman A — Google review
I was hoping their coffee would be phenomenal, but sadly it was just okay. Their lavender latte didn’t taste like lavender—just a regular latte. And their bacon burrito was nothing special. I was a bit disappointed.
Cc — Google review
Wonderful spot with a laid back vibe, great coffee and friendly staff. The sausage burrito was excellent - really hit the spot after a late night!
Bobby B — Google review
The place has bathrooms that are worst than truck stops and smells of sewage even at tables by the front window like someone peed on the floor. The staff may be rocking out, but the sound level is loud with speakers throughout the place The size of drinks is 12 oz. and lfot arger common espresso drinks like americanos or lattes you simply have to buy two Looks nice, but I would not recommend!
Jonathan M — Google review
Really nice shop and experience! Came here with a few friends on a weekday morning and it was a little busy, but our food and coffee still came out within 10 minutes. I ordered the veggie burrito and enjoyed it so much!! The oat milk latte hot was also tasty. I would come back.

Love this place. Super cute but can get busy. I usually just order ahead and take it to go, but it’s a nice place to hang out and there is seating inside and outside if you choose to dine-in. They also sell honey (obviously lol) and other local goods. Great coffee + food! Friendly staff.

Very cute coffee shop with great tasting coffee. I added cinnamon to a vanilla latte and it was very tasty. They do have some indoor and outdoor seating but it was quite busy with a line when I visited around 10 am on a weekday. Despite the size of the line they got through the orders fairly quickly and it didn’t take as long as I anticipated. They have a lot of unique lavender and honey combinations of coffees to try out.
Tamera F — Google review
Very cute little coffee shop that had a great menu and lots of additional things for your eyes to wander over, like the local honey. This is a great place to chill, meet your friends, and have a quick bite while you read. The staff is very thorough, super charismatic, and very knowledgeable about their craft. I'll definitely continue to visit this spot while I'm in town. Be warned, bring a fully charged laptop/phone if you plan to do any work here. And bring and open appetite to try something new!

I came in in the morning around 745am and ordered their iced americano and cold brew. Both tasted great! The business has its shared parking and I was able to find parking quick. I can imagine it gets busy later on in the day. Would come back and try their other drinks and pastries!
Rene G — Google review
super cute cafe! feels like a really nice neighborhood cafe and the outdoor area is so nice! with free parking lot. no wifi but i think i saw plugs. coffee was ok. they have nice options for food and pastries too and staff were nice
Notsavinggrace — Google review
Very cute spot ! Gave me hipster vibes . The line was always long . They had a lot of staff helping out working inside so we didn’t wait too long for the coffee . Their pastries I think are from other vendors and not baked in house but they were tasty . We ordered a brown sugar latte and salted caramel latte. I appreciate the 8 ounce option.! The coffee itself is pretty good. Not as strong , but I just read that they use clutch coffee, which is probably why I’m not a huge fan of klatch! Although they did make a pretty decent cup of coffee!
Nikki A — Google review
This place is fairly small and can get packed quickly. They have some seating inside and a very small outdoor patio. There’s a parking lot next to it, but that fills up fast since it’s for all the businesses on that corner. The coffee and toast were good but pricey. They recently increased their prices due to inflation, and it’s $8 for a normal-sized cup if you’re getting alternative milk.
A — Google review
i decided to go a little out of my way and visit this location for a cup of cold brew and i was pleasantly surprised as to how good it was. the service was extremely quick and i'd definitely return. it's on a quiet street in a nice part of North Pasadena. i didn't purchase a breakfast bread but the ones displayed in the window sure looked delicious.

Stopped in here after a work meeting and so glad I did! The options that they have for drinks are so cool and exciting. I got the Ube Cookies and Cream shake which was really good. The food looked great and I definitely will get some next time. Everyone who worked there was very kind and the AC was so clutch during a hot day. Thanks so much!

Lovely spot in a quiet area—perfect for working or small group meetups. I brought my notebook and laptop and enjoyed working there. The staff are friendly and professional. Totally appreciated Garett, the barista, who made my highly customized drink exactly how I wanted it in terms of ingredients and sweetness—thank you! The drinks and pastries were excellent as well. The only improvement I’d suggest is the music playlist. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. Thank you for the great experience! Definitely adding this to my “good cafes” list 🤍

I was looking for a great coffee spot and this was in my area. I ordered their Rose Latte with almond milk(less sweet). It was delicious, solid flavor and just the right temperature. It also looks like a solid spot to dine in also or get your laptop on. I’d definitely come back again to try their other menu items.

A cozy spot that is sort of hidden. I like their drinks but they are a bit pricey. The outside ambiance is so relaxing to sit and have a conversation. The employees were very friendly! I got the Vanilla Toddy Latte and it was delicious!
Jessica Y — Google review
We decided to give this place a try while in the Pasadena area. We ordered two ice coffee, one house special and one taro. We both love the taro better as it is unique and less sweet. The original is great but just a little bit too sweet. They do have a tap screen where you order directly on it and can customize the drinks. Didn’t remember if they have the sugar/syrup level though.
Jie G — Google review
A lovely spot for tea, snacks, and conversation! We stumbled upon this small haven just a block south from the loud sprawl of Colorado Blvd. We enjoyed the thoughtful service, quieter atmosphere, and yummy selections of milk and fruit teas! What a gem! We enjoyed refreshing iced teas (peach, lavendar grey). We appreciated the options to add bobas and jellies, though we did not order those this time. We were completely surprised they had Spam Misubi! We will be back! Thank you, Home Brewed! We look forward to our next visit!

Great drinks in a big and nice setting. They have plenty of tables and also lots of interesting art pieces hung up on the walls. The drinks are very tasty and good quality, and the staff are very friendly. The washrooms are all the way in the basement with a code to access and are very clean.

Limited options for sandwiches or bkfst. Coffee and bread options are very tasty. Nice place to work remotely. Bathroom is far away downstairs and hidden in underground level.
Cesar G — Google review
This is a fairly large space with plenty of seating. The coffee is good. The cinnamon roll pastry I had, was more sweet and sugary than cinnamon. More like a sweet roll than a cinnamon roll. The service was quick, except they forgot my pastry, but quickly remedied it. The parking is on the street, which has free times of day to park, but is metered the rest of the time. There are paid parking garages as well. There is a front entrance and an alley entrance. My small coffee and cinnamon roll cost $11. So a little more expensive than some of the other options in the area.

Solid coffee shop with some decent coffee in walking distance of the pasadena convention center. The Lemon poppy seed loaf was somewhat too moist but had a good taste.

Went there to meet up with an old friend from grad school. We both had a latte. Great coffee, chill atmosphere, and very friendly service m. I recommend paying for the public parking structures. On a a Sunday I paid a flat fee of 12 dollars. I felt it's worth it especially since it's Old Town Pasadena which is just beautiful with shops and other attractions. Hope you enjoy your time!

My coworker found this spot and it looked like a great place to start the day. I ordered the “Angeleeno” iced coffee and it was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Not overly sweet and just the right amount of kick. It had Four black cat espresso shots, oatmilk and homemade simple syrup. Phenomenal cup of Joe to get me going. I’d definitely come back again to try their other menu items next time.

Modern, clean cafe for a quiet study session. The coffee is decent too.

The Overpriced Coffee Shop: A Mixed Experience The Coffee - Pricey, but Good Nonorganic milks- major disappointment considering the price Baked Goods - Hit or Miss Not made in house. The Service - Inconsistent Mixed reviews on service quality, with moments of excellence and missed opportunities. The Environment - Modern, but Noisy A clean, trendy setting, but the noise level can be overwhelming. While the coffee shop's reputation for being overpriced is justified, it offers excellent coffee, albeit at a higher cost. The baked goods and service quality can vary, and the modern ambiance comes with a downside of noise. If you're willing to take a chance and appreciate the overall experience, this coffee shop might be worth a visit.

Little Flower Bakery is a charming cafe and candy kitchen located on the outskirts of town, offering a delightful mix of baked goods, confections, and eclectic fare. I think I have a crush on Little Flower. I don't live in Pasadena, so I came across it one day and decided to try it out due to the good reviews. It is such an adorable little place, and despite being right off the freeway, it some manages to maintain it's quaintness and peace even that close to the 134. The pastries are what makes it shine. I am addicted to the almond croissant. it is flaky and although it has a generous dusting of powdered sugar, it still manages to not feel overly sweet. It is absolutely delish as was the cinnamon roll with pecans and raisins and the shortbread. I also had the scramble with fennel and sausage and I LOVED it. They have a subtlety that isn't too heavy handed with just a touch of parmesan cheese. My aunt got the Green Goddess salad and loved it and the quiche and strata were awesome too. The strata was remarkable with brocolli, tomato, the perfect combination of veggies and cheese, hearty and filling and such a generous portion my mom and I split it. They also have a wonderful assortment of candies, sauces, honey and beans. Little Flower has definitely become one of my go-tos that I must visit whenever I am in Pasadena. I highly recommend it.

First time here. Impressions: Cute looking little cafe, with too much going on. Merchandise is cool and interesting. Coffee is okay. Pastries are sweet, presentation needs improvement, it didn’t taste fresh to me. The brownie is technically good, but it needs more body. The chocolate sea salt cookie wasn’t crunchy or chewy, a NO for me. The chocolate cake with coffee buttercream felt like it was made out of a cake mix from the store, and the buttercream did not taste good. It needs work, buy it has potential. Less items and more precision its needed. Quality over quantity. More creativity would help as well.
Nicolás T — Google review
A great staple cafe with fresh food and baked goods. Also a go to spot for knick knacks and quick gifts. They are known for their candies and marshmallows but it holds an eclectic collection of items. The place is small with limited seating but it is a cute place to get away to.

While the cleanliness of the shop and the convenience of the little store inside for ordering are positives, my experience at this brunch spot was somewhat underwhelming. The setup, where you order first and then find a table, can be a bit chaotic, especially during busy weekends when tables are hard to come by. Although the food was decent, it didn't quite meet my expectations, and the service left something to be desired. Overall, while it's an okay option for brunch, the mediocre service and hassle of finding a table mean that I won't be returning in the future.

I came for caramels and left with a full breakfast. Their breakfast burrito is simple and perfect—eggs, bacon, and the right amount of salsa. The house marshmallows are dangerously soft. You can watch them package candy behind the counter sometimes. It feels like a neighborhood kitchen that also happens to make incredible sweets

We adore this place. It’s more than just a bakery and a café. It’s a great pitstop at the top of Eagle Rock just off 134/210 on the edge of Pasadena, for any time of day or reason. It’s also throwback to better times, when unique gift shops would have seasonal displays and gift ideas for the holidays or any occasion. We pop in for fresh baked goods, lattes, and tea. We also stock up on their homemade sea salt caramels. They are about to decorate for Halloween this week and I can’t wait to see all the goodies! One surprise little treat I just enjoyed: a baked apple cider doughnut with chunks of apple. It was delicious! Their brownies and cookies are also great.

A small café with handmade caramels and a breakfast burrito that’s sneakily excellent. The patio is compact but sunny in the morning. Street parking can be tight; I usually find a spot on San Pascual. Coffee is solid and the pastry case is dangerous. Staff are kind even during rush. Great stop after a Lower Arroyo walk

So, so disappointing... My husband and I came here for several early dates and have such fond memories of going here. We loved this place and really wanted to continue to cherish it (it's just so darn cute!). However, recently we've only had disappointing experiences. The quality of food has really gone down, flavor isn't anything to write home about, prices have gone up, and worst of all: the staff seems to have such an apathetic attitude at best and are outright rude at worst. We came here for the nostalgia on an anniversary, and left feeling so disappointed and with a sad flavor in our mouths, literally and otherwise. I think it's time to retire coming to Little Flower after all. :(

Republik Coffee Pasadena is a vibrant cafe and wine bar that offers a delightful selection of baked goods, hearty brunch options, and specialty coffee. The ambiance is inviting with its shiny copper surfaces, comfortable cushioned seating, and beautiful rugs. Emphasizing the motto 'life is too short to drink bad coffee,' the menu features high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients and house-made hand-crafted syrups. Additionally, they host enjoyable wine tastings for those interested.
The service here is exquisite, the staff is super friendly and I love the food and coffee! Today my wife and I got the chai tea latte and charcoal vanilla latte and a açaí smoothie. A 3 were yummy and worth trying out. Parking is street parking and it’s only an hour long but there’s 2hr parking on the nearby streets and it’s only a short walk away. Give Republik Coffee a try its quaint cozy shop with a good amount of seating but it fills up quickly because this spot is so popular!

Stumbled upon them by accident when my regular coffee shops espresso machine was broken. It was a great find. I love their unique signature drinks especially the iced lavender with coconut milk. Service is good, staff friendly, outside seating available. Variety of breakfast yummies. I ended up getting 2 different types of the Avocado toast and then their quiche.

There’s something about this café that just keeps pulling me back. Not my first breakfast here, and every time I’ve got court in Pasadena, I make sure to stop by Republik Coffee. It’s kinda turned into a little ritual at this point. Today wasn’t an exception. Had to wait a bit longer than usual to find a table outside. No surprise, the place is always busy, and for a good reason. The girl who took my order was super friendly and attentive, really took her time to help me pick. Usually I go for the ham & cheese croissant, but today I switched it up — went with the salmon cucumber toast and their purple caramel latte. Both were spot on, fresh, balanced, and honestly just hit right. What I love about this spot is how consistent it feels. Good food, good people, that easy vibe where you can sit back, sip your coffee, and just watch the street wake up. Thanks for keeping it steady, guys. See you next time — court mornings don’t start without Republik anymore.

Came here for the first time . A lot of people already seated eating and hanging out . Hard to find parking but we scored a spot in the front . We ordered a flat white and a honey latte . ( coffee flavor was great) the honey latte wasn’t sweet very subtle but towards the end we saw why . All the honey was sitting at the bottom of the cup and it was super sweet! Still tasted good though just wish they mixed it more . We ended up ordering chilaquiles- and it was delicious ! They started playing live music and we weee sitting right next to them so we ended up leaving anyway but there’s plenty of seating outside - don’t know how the band was 🤷‍♀️ but everything was enjoyable

I was shocked to see a fly sitting directly on the cake (Orange Polenta) on display. I politely informed the staff, expecting them to take action — but they did nothing. The fly stayed there, and the cakes remained on display as if nothing had happened. This is a serious hygiene issue, and the staff’s indifference made it even worse. For a place that serves food, basic cleanliness and customer concern should be the minimum standard. Definitely not coming back.
Rui F — Google review
I particularly like their rose latte, which has a wonderful rose flavor. The food was served very slowly, perhaps because it was already cold by the time I ate it. The food was average and not worth the price.
Yuki — Google review
Republik is an amazing spot for breakfast! My wife and I stopped in for coffee and a bite to eat, and everything was delicious. She had a regular latte, and I had a matcha latte both were rich, smooth, and flavorful. For food, my wife had the smoked salmon bagel, and I had the chorizo and potato breakfast burrito both were fresh and perfectly made. The flavors were well-balanced, and the portion sizes were just right. What really made this experience stand out was the exceptional customer service. My wife is allergic to a certain garnish, which was on her plate, and we hadn’t known to request its removal. When I took it back, the manager was incredibly kind, immediately replaced the dish, and even apologized despite it not being their fault. Her warm and friendly attitude made all the difference. Great food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere I’ll definitely be back!

Coffee shop
Cafe
Rosebud Coffee is a spacious and purpose-driven coffee shop located on Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena. The founders started with a small coffee cart named Rosebud, aiming to empower homeless and transitional-aged youth through hospitality training. The shop offers third wave coffee in traditional sizes with light to medium roasts, along with a variety of delicious pastries, paninis, breakfast burritos, and handmade chocolates.
Had a cortado and the veggie breakfast burrito, and both were great! Love that there’s lots of parking and that the space is so big. Only came for the coffee side of things, not the bar portion of the space, but I would happily come back!
Benjy B — Google review
Rosebud Coffee has a lot going for it. The decor is fantastic, with plenty of plants and cool merchandise. There are lots of tables to sit at, both inside and on the outside patio. A neat feature is the separate brewery inside, complete with an alcoholic bar. Plus, there's a huge parking lot behind the shop, which is super convenient. Most importantly, my latte with oat milk was delicious. However, there are a few things I disliked. Although they have WiFi, they turn it off on weekends to encourage conversation between guests. While I enjoyed my visit without my laptop, I would have liked the option to bring it on a weekend if I wanted to step out of the house. They also place little boards on specific tables indicating that they are laptop-free zones, which feels a bit intrusive. The staff at the counter was friendly and great, but the rest of the staff didn't seem to be taking their shifts seriously. You have to stand very close to the order area to hear your name called because most of the staff just call names casually, except for one gentleman who actually yelled out names. The rest were chatting amongst themselves, with nothing to do, which was a bit odd. I want to like this place and maybe it was just an off day. I'll try coming back on a weekday and hope to update my review with more stars because I'm new to the area and looking for a regular coffee spot.
Andrew T — Google review
The Golden Latte was to die for and the strawberry desert cake thing my son got was tip tier as-well. I love local coffee shops and this one doubles as a brewery after the coffee shop closes. I also love that they hire and train the youth for jobs. Just a real stand up place that hits all marks. Whenever I come to town to see the dodgers play I will drink coffee here and nowhere else. Epic drinks and eats.

I was in the Pasadena area and found this spot nearby. A solid spot to get a great cup of coffee. I ordered their latte with almond milk and it was delicious. Solid flavor and perfect temperature. This spot is a pretty big space for coffee. I’d definitely come back here again and try their other menu items.
Rodrigo “ — Google review
The atmosphere is very chill. It is a great place to go if you want to chat with your friends and family in a peaceful environment. I love the idea of encouraging having no wifi on weekends for encouraging socializing with your friends and family while enjoying the drink and food. The coffee are pretty with nice latte art, taste great for a non constant coffee drinker, and the pastries taste great and warm. I love the chocolate croissant 🥐 and it is a good place to go for a weekend morning or tea time.
Natalie Y — Google review
This was such a cute little spot! They have plenty of seating. A variety of drinks it seem like it was a popular place. They have trivia nights on Tuesdays and on the weekends they don’t provide Wi-Fi because they want you to sit and socialize. What a great concept ! Just ordered a flat white . It was good but not great ! The espresso is a bit too strong but if you like strong coffee, then I recommended I would come back to try something else!
Nikki A — Google review
A great place to meet, hang out with your friends and catch up on life. They have spacious indoor sitting and out door patio for big group meetings. Rosebud serves great coffees and teas. The owner Dan told me that he trains each barista to differentiate each types of coffee by smell. This results in fantastic coffee in each cup. Not only coffee and teas are good here, the pastries are mesmerizing too. I loved their almond croissant where they added chocolate in the almond paste fillings resulting creamy and tasty croissant. They have a few of pastries on display which I don’t recognize. I guess they invented their own. Besides coffee and pastries, Rosebud also has a microbrewery on site. But no beers served in the morning. So I didn’t have a chance to taste their beer. We shall come back in an after to taste their beer. They do have plenty of parking in the back and on the street. It’s ideal for big group gathering.

Coffee shop
Coffee and Plants, located in Old Pasadena, is a trendy spot that combines two popular elements: coffee and houseplants. Co-owned by Leona Lewis, this Instagram-worthy establishment offers a variety of visually appealing drinks such as Chagaccinos, Pink Matcha, and Blue Lavender Lattes. The cafe's aesthetic features brick walls adorned with flowers, creating the perfect backdrop for social media photos.
Truly this place came through where it counts: after enjoying the Rose Parade on Jan. 1st with a friend, we were having a difficult time finding a place to sit. We had JUST placed ourselves in two different wait lists at two different restaurants, so while we waited, we wandered through Colorado Ave, looking for a place with shade and somewhere to sit. This place absolutely came through. They are in such a nice location. There are seats both inside and outside and also, despite being out of almost everything, I had one the best cups of hot cocoa with oat milk I've ever tried. Immensely grateful for the great customer service, great drink and much-needed place to sit with shade. 10/10
Alejandro M — Google review
The place itself and the person making the drinks was all cool, just the drinks itself were not good. My boyfriend and I got two different drinks and both were tasted like water down and no flavor. Pretty disappointing.
Jasmin V — Google review
Great find! I’m not a fan of any rose-lavender-flavored lattes but the barista did mention that their rose syrup is house made and doesn’t have the artificial flavoring that most shops have. I took her word and gave it a try! Loved it. I had it hot but I’m sure iced would have been just as great. I also had their cherry almond muffin! Not a combination i would have ever tried so thanks for the new flavoring!I think the vibes could have been better but working in the customer service field, I’m too biased. Overall a solid experience.
Esmeralda U — Google review
Unique menu with original drinks and pastries you won’t find in other cafes. I got almond butter cherry muffin and Dubai chocolate latte and both were incredible. The atmosphere is both grounding and elevated with plants giving it a cozy feel. The cafe is secluded in the alley and it gives it an European vibe. As I understood, everything was vegan and vegetarian, but I think you can get a whole milk option. Parking is in nearby structures and relatively cheap compared to other areas in the city. First 2 hours are free.
Alissa A — Google review
This charming coffee shop boasts a delightful ambiance. I particularly enjoyed the atmosphere outside the café. Their signature 24k charcoal latte was a standout—unique and delicious. While the interior décor is pleasant, it shows signs of age. Nevertheless, the high-quality tableware, chairs, and tables more than make up for it. The prices are quite reasonable, too.
Nicholas T — Google review
I got the JustEgg tartine, chocolate croissant and lavender latte (pictured). It's a cute instagram-worthy place with good coffee, but the vegan food is not that good. The chocolate croissant was hard and not fluffy. Vegan croissants are difficult to find, and this one was disappointing. I don't remember much about the tartine. Come for the coffee and nice ambiance, not for the food.
Cindy L — Google review
Very nice café on a side street in Pasadena. The service was super nice and friendly. If you order something to eat, you should bring some time with you, as it is prepared with love and care. Unfortunately we didn't have a fork and knife, but they were brought on request. The food was delicious and so was the coffee. The whole thing is completely vegan!
Jonathan — Google review
Now don’t get me wrong, I really love the idea of this place. Donating to local animal charities is awesome and amazing and I hope they continue helping the community in meaningful ways. However, I paid $9 for an iced dirty Chai. It was the wrong size, and watery as heck! Not to mention the little bits of oatmilk crust floating in my drink, super unappetizing. Their matcha was on par with Starbucks. But the food I ordered was gross I forced myself to eat it because I was running late. They really need to improve the quality of their menu. Otherwise I really can’t see myself spending money here. Otherwise the staff was super nice, and the atmosphere was gorgeous.

Coffee shop
Cafe De Leche PCC, the charming second location of Highland Park's beloved coffee shop, has been a delightful addition to the neighborhood since its opening in 2016. With its inviting blue-and-white exterior, this cozy spot welcomes both furry friends and their human companions on the patio. The menu features an array of familiar lattes alongside unique flavors and traditional teas that cater to all tastes. Visitors rave about the warm atmosphere, cleanliness, and friendly staff who enhance the experience with their welcoming demeanor.
This is amazing place, so warm, pretty and clean. One of my best coffees EVER! The food and pastries are homemade and delicious! And the staff is so friendly! Perfect location and free parking lot around the corner. Such a nice experience, I ll definitely come back and recommend it 100%! 💯❤️ Thank you so much!🙏✨️

Drinks are okay, not worth the price at times tbh. The men always have a know it all attitude especially the one with glasses. Service is okay too. I mean it's slow and sometimes unrganized. Place is nice but can improve. The girl is always nice tho.

Came here on Monday at about 5:30pm. The guy taking my order was very pleasant. If I come back if and get the same treatment, I might have to up the service to 5 stars. Ordered the Horchata with Espresso, was very good. Needed a bit more Horchata flavor. I'm definitely going to try another flavor.

I ordered a vanilla latte and I loved the taste. The people working there were really nice too.

By far the worst customer service by the glasses individual who is clearly a “coffee Professor” at this school. While It was my fault for asking arguably the dumbest question about their Matcha Ube tea drink, but it gives no right to act the way he did. Personally speaking, my brain isn't at it's highest functioning capability as of now due to being on a prescription medication prescribed by my doctor. Yes, it's part of the side effects of having brain fog. Very rude service and a "know it all" attitude served by, once again, every other bad customer service given by a restaurant associate in the state of California. He had the audacity to ask me "what an expresso" is when it comes to coffee, basically humiliating myself as if I was born yesterday. I held it together as I did not want to cause a scene with my bad temperament and as I might be a lot older in age than the immature individual. I'm just trying to focus on graduating and not getting expelled by saying something back. Anyway, whoever manages this little small café should check up on the individual, because clearly he hates his job as a coffee expert in a junior community college. I will be avoiding this place as their drinks are very poor quality in taste and will be purchasing my coffee elsewhere.
Jake J — Google review
I wanted to update this review. I came back recently again and it's a huge improvement. Staff are friendly, and the drinks that I've had so far are good. They've done justice to the original location that's in Highland Park. My go-to drinks so far: Vanilla latte (definitely 🔥🔥🔥, wish I had another) Mexi Mocha (🔥🔥) I might just become a regular.
Daniel V — Google review
The staff are all very friendly, and nice little seating area, but the drinks taste bad. I keep on going back trying different drinks thinking maybe they will get better or maybe it was that one drink but no. They all taste bad. Whether it’s too much milk or watered down it’s just bad.
Yeah Y — Google review
For a coffee and lattes it's really 50/50 on how good it will be day to day. Any other drink, cold or hot is amazing. Their banana bread is one of my favorites. Customers service is amazing as well!
