Went in for a bite after the airport, and it was pretty solid. The food was good, I had a create your own breakfast, so I did some eggs with toast and chili sauce, which made for a great sandwich. The only thing is that they asked me to leave my luggage by the door, which I felt a bit iffy with. Not a staff thing, but it just rubbed me the wrong way a bit. Oh well. Good food, and reasonable prices for a tourist town

I had a fantastic experience, the barista Jimmy was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about coffee, he recommended to drink the coffee with a sake glass and a ceramic cup, and they taste completely different (both taste really good) , and it was the best experience i’ve had in town! Everyone was so friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely come back again next time when i visit Cairns. ❤️

Was once a great place with good table service but now you order online via square, or order at the counter. Very impersonal with extra high prices. ~$8 for a side of bacon. That is an exorbitant price. I’ve been here many times with great service but it’s gone downhill a lot. Lots of staff floating around but they are struggling to give service. Coffee art is inspiring!

The café itself isn’t very big, but it has such a charming atmosphere—slightly bohemian and rustic, super cute and homey. I also loved that they provide free bottled tap water, such a thoughtful touch. I tried the iced coffee with their house-made coconut syrup, and it was absolutely delicious—strong coffee, creamy, not too sweet, and perfectly coconutty. Feeling adventurous, I also ordered their Kangaroo “Rooben” sandwich (love the clever name, by the way!). The kangaroo itself tastes a lot like very mild beef, and it was perfectly cooked—super tender and flavorful. The sandwich came on warm focaccia bread that was crunchy on the outside, fluffy inside, with that perfect focaccia chew. On the side, they served house-made sweet potato chips—thin, slightly sweet, wonderfully crunchy, and not greasy at all. The combination was fantastic. Not to mention, all the food and drinks looked beautiful—definitely Instagram-worthy. Between the delicious food, cozy vibes, and warm, friendly service, it really felt like the perfect package. I’d definitely come back again.

Good quality food and drink more inland, well worth the visit. “Best chai of my life” said my wife! ($9 + $0.8 oat milk, pictured). I had the big breakfast at $32 which was delicious, the pumpkin especially!

This place has some of the best coffee I've ever tried... And trust me, I've tried a lot of coffee in a lot of places. So may varieties! Makes me want to move here just so I can go every morning and try every bean. Staff are great as well. If you enjoy coffee, do yourself a favour and go here.

One of the best coffees I've had in Australia, and I'm from Melbourne! We need Cruze in Melbourne asap. Freshly roasted and so many aromatic beans to pick from. Gilberto brewed me a perfect cuppa, thanks! $6 for a large coffee is ridiculously cheap in a tourist location like Cairns, and no extra charge for non dairy milk! Wish I was staying here longer to try all their beans - only got to try 3 so far. White Night, Godfather and Smooth Harry. They also sell beans ground coffee to take home. Coffee you can't refuse (it's their motto) :)

Nice place with nice staff but could not finish the coffee. Tried two of the different beans available. The problem being is that the coffee beans are left open exposed to the air and sunlight and just oxidising. The other issue is that they use the same grinder for all their beans and we didn't see them flush any of the grinder out before moving to different beans, which if you're choosing a single origin is going to affect the taste given how unique they are.

Best coffee ever. You get to choose your coffee beans from a pick of about 25 types. You can get hot coffee. They have lactose free milk. There are two types of iced coffees, ice only or ice cream and cream. I had the ice only, and it was great. If you like vanilla, do try their vanilla coffee. If you aren't sure what coffee to pick, ask the staff, and they will advise you. I have never been more happy with a coffee experience ever.

Wow, wow, wow... what an experience! The smell of coffee bean is what brought me to this wonderful little gem in the heart of Cairns. I was blown away by the selection of beans on offer. With so much to choose from, I asked the service staff "I will have what is a popular blend" as I am no coffee connoisseur. The iced coffee brew was amazing. Smooth, rich and creamy... they staff (maybe the owner) took great pride in his shop and the service was top quality. I will be heading back next time I am in Cairns to hopefully enjoy more of the wide range of beans on display.

I was super impressed to find a coffee shop in Cairns (anywhere for that matter) that solely focusses on coffee. Nothing other than espresso and coffee beans. From all over the world. I tried the * ETHIOPIAN D'JIMMAH* beans. Was looking for something strong with a strong after taste. I think I need to try something stronger. Next time , I will try the * The Godfather Il* Staff was amazingly friendly. All coffee served in take away cups, but there are a few seats outside for your comfort. My go to place for coffee in Cairns.

Coffee was spot on, with a lovely view right by the water. The place is kid-friendly, and the staff were nice and helpful. Food was served really quickly — impressive, considering it was a busy Sunday morning and the place was packed. We actually expected a longer wait. The food was delicious. However, my friend ordered the Meg Breakfast bowl, and the portion seemed smaller than we expected, especially compared to my breakfast bowl, which was even $1 cheaper. Still, everything tasted great. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes from the menu!

We went to Wharf One Cafe for breakfast this morning and we collectively said ‘wow’ our breakfast was delicious. Surprising as it’s a small cafe located almost at the end of the Cairns Waterfront boardwalk right next the the ship terminus. As i mentioned, breakfast and coffees were great, with an excellent view of the harbour and surrounding green covered hills. Highly recommended.

We visited this restaurant and give it a 3 star overall. The service was not so good because when I arrived the young man behind the counter just gave me the menues a plate with the knives and forks and serviettes and a bottle of water with the glasses and said to be seated. This is not the sevice I was expecting. I did not enjoy my experience there unfortunately. The food was good but would like to have had my toast separate from the sauce as it made it soggy and that spoiled it a bit. But that being said, there are some nice views of the Wharf and the mountains from the restaurant. The coffee was good.

Great coffee with the best views to La Marina and Harbour. Staff is nice and very quick, this time I only stopped for coffee however the menu looked delicious. It was so nice to know that the coffee they served was organic.

I recently had the pleasure of having my wedding ceremony and reception at Wharf One Cairns and I would recommend this venue a million times over. From start to finish Peter was so great to deal with, his staff were lovely and the food was AMAZING! Highly recommended to all future brides!

We recently had our wedding and reception at Wharf One and are so glad we did. We live in Brisbane and wanted to have our wedding in Cairns and were worried it may be too difficult to organise but Grace and the team at Wharf One were awesome. From our 1st inquiry to the wedding, the communication and service was second to none. Grace was amazing to deal with and nothing was ever a hassle (or if it was she never made it feel that way). The canapés were perfect (personal favourites were the calamari and Barra bites) and we had great feedback from all of our guests about the food including the gluten free options. Reflecting on the day, we are so glad that we chose Wharf One. One last special mention for Grace. She was pretty pregnant for our wedding and we are super grateful for the effort she put into making our day what it was.

The muesli and brekki bowl were delicious. Lovely location by water. With shade and fans. Would definitely come back.

BEST COFFEE IN CAIRNS. Our favourite coffee on our trip up from Sydney 🤌🏼 We were so curious about the range of cacao drinks and opted for the 85% dark mocha (real cacao with only a little coconut sugar + espresso) and also got an oat cap. Both were amazing but the mocha was just out of this world… Writing this as I’m having the last sip. Will be thinking about this for a long time! The cacao they used was amazing and unlike anything I’ve had previously. This is not your regular mocha/hot choc. Just have to mention the team there are so friendly & knowledgeable too. Thanks for making our last morning in Cairns so memorable!

Came because of the high ratings but was quite disappointed. The latte was made not with espresso shots but cold brew add milk which was not what I was expecting. Perhaps hand drip coffee are more their thing.

I didn't feel like room service and opted for a little stroll in the sun to grab a coffee and a morning bite. Stumbled upon this place and gave it a go. The coffee was great and the chicken toastie with pickles hit the spot! It was so good I had to leave a review which is something I normally don't do very often. Cheers guys I'll be back for sure. I couldn’t be happier to have found The Chamber Room. The baristas are incredibly knowledgeable and consistently pull well balanced espresso shots. A top-notch spot in Cairns and an absolute must-try!

We had breakfast here and it was delicious! The service was great and the food was fantastic. I had a side of scrambled eggs with cheese and some truffle fries. They were so yummy! My husband got the Local’s Way with a house-made rosti. His favorite was definitely the rosti. I also got some freshly squeezed apple juice. It was so good! Would eat here again!

This restaurant is such a gem for breakfast. The menu has plenty of variety, and we went for the Healthy Breakfast and the pancakes, both were served in generous portions, beautifully presented, and full of fresh flavors. The coffee was excellent, rich and smooth. I also tried the matcha, which was good, though a little heavy on ice. Overall, a wonderful spot to enjoy a relaxed and satisfying start to the day.

Everything was wonderful. The staff were efficient and friendly. The food was delicious and very nicely presented. I highly recommend the brunch, particularly the Smashed Avocado. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her Eggs Bendict.

What an amazing place! Seated quickly and food arrived within a really good time too. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious in both quality, taste and presentation. The best smashed avo I have ever had!

Definitely made my day with the beautiful latte art. Coffee tasted great too. Ordered smashed avo and add on scrambled egg. A little bit too much. But a thumbs up for the scramble egg. Oh my god, I loveeeeeeee this place. The interior was what caught my attention at first because the café is super pretty!! But the food and coffee completely blew me away. Not only are they super Instagrammable, they’re super delicious too!! I tried their iced vanilla latte and the smashed avocado (aka avocado toast) with an add on egg. My friend had the K.F.C burger and we shared the lemon meringue pancake. Their iced coffee was absolutely perfect, just the right balance of bitterness, sweetness and creaminess. I’m not even a big fan of avocado, I only ordered it because, well, when in Aussie right? But I ended up really liking it. It comes with a pea fritter and thinly shaved cucumber, super good. I couldn’t really taste the truffle in the sauce but it was still a nice creamy sauce. The toasted sourdough though was probably the star, such good bread. I had a bite of my friend’s K.F.C burger and instantly got food envy. I should’ve ordered that, it was so good. Crispy chicken, sweet, savory, tangy in the best way possible. And the lemon meringue pancake was amazing too. The lemon curd was hands down the best part, perfectly sweet and sour. I’m literally drooling writing this. Hope I get to go back someday. Oh, and the servers were super nice, friendly and helpful too. I highly recommend this café.

Feedback is always important the service was 👎🏻 thumbs down. Wasn't helpful when asking questions about the loyalty card, no making conversation with the customer, just simple and not hard to do simply how's your day going, blah blah nothing. The coffee was milky and went straight in the bin 😔

I had been wanting to visit this café for more than half a year, and finally came today. The shop is small, with only a few indoor seats for dine-in. Before coming, I saw some photos on Google Maps with very creative and detailed latte art, so I was looking forward to it. Although I didn’t get the fancy designs I expected, the heart-shaped latte art on my coffee was very smooth and pretty. The coffee itself was not overheated, not too strong, and had a hint of natural sweetness — really enjoyable! We also ordered a chocolate banana bread topped with a little icing sugar and rose petals. It looked beautiful and tasted great, and felt homemade. The only downside was the serving order: the coffee was prepared first and only after that the hot food was made, so the food arrived when we were already halfway through our drinks. If the hot food could be prepared first and then the coffee, both would arrive around the same time, which would make the experience even better. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and would come back again.

Predomiantely a workers/tradies tatty cafe located in a commercial/lite industrial area. Our long black and latte unfortunately were what you would expect - drinkable but not enjoyable or worth repeating. Food was uninspiring bland selection also. Toilet was located across the carpark out the rear factory door in the rain. You had to take the key to deter criminals from stealing the liquid hand soap & toilet paper. A small 250gm bag of their house blend coffee a hefty $19

Went there this morning to get a coffee to support my local coffee shop for the first time. Just to see why i don't because of the lady that served this morning just had terrible service no "good morning" no "thank you" was like she hated the place her self. I will stick to my regular coffee shop!!

I was looking for a good brunch spot in Cairns and came across Bang & Grind Café—the reviews were great, so we decided to check it out. Honestly, this place did not disappoint. It’s a small café, but the food is absolutely top-notch. I had the Poached Eggs Benedict, and they were spot on—perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, and amazing sausages. My partner had one of the wraps, and it was soft, juicy, and easy to eat on the go. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. What really stood out, though, was the service. The barista/cashier was incredibly kind and welcoming—he really makes the place feel special. Friendly, fast, and genuine service that adds to the whole experience.

This is by far the best flat white I have had visiting Australia. I guess it depends on the day you visit who prepares the coffees but every time I visit it has been great. Plus a dog design, well that’s amazing! Their blueberry muffins are also good - heated. Staff is always smiling and friendly. If you stay awhile in Cairns they offer a loyalty card!

Very solid food and drinks, perfect for sitting down or on the go. Nothing specifically stood out (good or bad) but I would define it as a consistently decent dining experience. I did find the portions of the brekky panini/wrap to be a bit small - but it is appropriately priced. If you are a big eater maybe get two. The location seems to be slightly more geared towards locals as it is a bit removed from the esplanade. But everyone I saw was warmly welcomed.

Bang and Grind Spence Street genuinely has the very best Brekky, brunch, coffee in all of Cairns. Consistently spot on every single visit. Eggs are always poached or scrambled to perfection. All service is lovely. Tried the Spanish beans today and was top notch as is the Eggs with Hollandaise which I usually have.

As a Flight Attendaht I have FINALLY found where to get coffee and breakfast ! I strolled in to check out the food at the Shangri La buffet but the food looked so poorly cooked, there was no attention to detail or care in the cooking then I came to Bang and Grind and my Big Breakfast and coffee were pure perfection - lovely team, chilled vibe, good music and 10 out of 10 for the coffee and good - thank you and as Arny said, “I will be back!”

I visited on a Friday afternoon with friends. The drinks were great with fresh fruit and vegetables as well as smoothies. Later we bought 3 meals too which were all very well cooked and tasty. The venue is right on the beach with a children’s playground right next to it. There was a wonderful singer who played a keyboard and though very popular venue, the atmosphere was fantastic and family friendly.

Fab cafe right on the waterfront. Excellent (and very generous!) food. I had the crispy chicken tacos - delish. Don't miss the fresh juices!

Perfect spot with young children to play at the variety of playgrounds and splash park, while enjoying some very reasonable food, juices and smoothies. Nice place to cool off when it’s hot, and plenty of activities for the kids. Service is generally fast even when busy, the chic banana proteins smoothly was more air than smoothy hence the 4 star.

This is one of Cairns’s surprise little gems. One of our favourite breakfast spots. Open for a VERY (6am) early morning coffee and or breakout. Can be very very busy quick service is the standard especially if you order through the QR code on the table. Whilst not immune to staff shortages from backpackers having had a big night and calling in sick, I have never experienced any problems. Good size meals at better than average prices.

This is one place you don't want to miss enjoying a fantastic breakfast. Huge selection of food. Outstanding service. Great location right on the Esplanade with a view of the water. Enjoyed my mushroom dish with Asian vegetables. Good coffee. Be early as this place is popular and seating with good views are filled quickly. Great way to start the day.

One of my favourite spots in Cairns no matter the time of day! Great atmosphere, with a lovely view of the water right on the esplanade. Perfect place to enjoy a coffee and watch the world go by. One of the only places in Cairns you can get a great coffee after 3pm. Food is always amazing from here and the staff are always so welcoming and friendly! ⭐️ The crispy clucker is a personal favourite🍔

Wonderful experience at this cafe. The owner and staff were so kind and engaging. We had some delicious croissants on multiple occasions and were able to buy a gift card here as well. Lovely coffee, great atmosphere.

My favourite roaster in Cairns and I've already tried this beans twice which were amazing.This was my first time to come to this roaster....beautiful coffee, calm atmosphere, and the good barista!!! I've got a banana bread which was lovely and filter was also amazing. If people come to Cairns, worth to come here even little bit far from the city.

A little hard to find at first but just look for the fence with the Tattooed Sailor logo on it! Very knowledgeable staff, were able to answer any and all questions about their coffee. Great tasting iced latte, definitely gave the morning kick I needed lol! Also have drip coffee which is a rare find in Australia. Both vegan and vegetarian options on the menu which was greatly appreciated!

Received a bag of Queensland Blue beans as a gift. Very good roast yielding a delicious brew. I enthusiastically visited the website to order two kgs ($98). BUT, the shipping to Adelaide is $31! That’s just too much, which is a real pity.

I have been buying coffee from Coffee Works for quite a few years and it’s wonderful, amazing quality. I live in Brisbane and (try to) buy the beans when I’m in Cairns as it’s quite expensive for delivery. The last 3 times I’ve travelled to Cairns I’ve been unable to buy the beans in person, yet can leave the store and buy them immediately online. If you are going to have a specialty coffee store at least stock the store with coffee. It’s really disappointing to not be able to buy what you want especially knowing that you have that coffee, just not in store.

Very friendly staff. And very unique chocolate. As American we do not get flavors like these in America and some have the sweet spicy taste to them to satisfy our Indian taste buds. Just phenomenal chocolate. Can't wait to share with family back home.

This is an awesome store located conveniently in the Cairns CBD. They make really good chocolate - my favourite being the Dark Chocolate Peppermint Beans. If you’ve been to Coffee Works Mareeba and enjoyed the coffee beans or chocolate they sell there, this Cairns shop is the perfect place to stop by if you don’t want to have to drive to Mareeba.

Cool artsy coffee shop in Cairns. The shop is tucked in a small and quiet alleyway. It is perfect if you’re trying to get away from the main busy streets. The service was friendly and the coffee was even better. We also had one of the best chai teas we’ve ever had. Overall, this is a cool place with a cool earthy vibe. I would highly recommend this place to escape from the summer heat and get your caffeine fix.

Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere at Sing Sing Espresso make for a great early start to the day. Their excellent coffee (Little Marionette of Sydney) does as well. Although the menu is small, the food is fresh and appetising with plenty of eye appeal, portions generous. Vegan-friendly dishes are available also. With indoor and uncovered outdoor seating, Sing Sing Espresso is a hidden gem, but not for long.

We ordered the bruschetta on Turkish bread and a turkey sandwich with cranberry spread on Turkish bread. The dishes were full of flavor. I highly recommend an iced latte on ice. They serve great tasting espresso. Minus one star because the eating area seems grungy inside. In fairness, Lillipad leases the space and kitchen inside a dive bar.

While wandering, we found this tasty spot for breakfast. We split the hearty breakfast burrito with chorizo and the delicious crepes! I had an iced chai latte and my friend enjoyed an iced mocha with coconut icecream and whipped cream which was verrryyy good. Service was great 👍. They have indoor or outdoor sitting. They have great options for vegetarian or vegans too.

I hadn’t been to Lillipad for a few years and heard they had moved location, I had lunch here with a group of friends a few weeks ago ,The new place looks great and has such a good vibe. It was really busy the girl working was really lovely and even helped push a few tables together so we could all sit as a group. The food was delicious and good value for the size of the meals. Everything came out pretty quickly too, considering how packed it was. I had the salmon salad with soy sesame dressing super fresh, huge portion, and cooked perfectly. We will be back!!

Disappointed. It is correct but too expensive for what you get. The coffee is small for the price and the pancake would have better with some fruit. It is a bit sad. You are better served elsewhere.

This our go to Friday breakfast location in Cairns. A great menu (lashings of food) supplemented by a large and versatile range of drinks. Brilliant service from a very dedicated staff.

It’s a pretty small but cute market. The main deal is fresh vegetables and fruits that look amazing. There are a couple of stands for vintage objects and books and then food such as Thai, Korean, Indian, etc. It’s definitely worth it to go and have a look but don’t expect anything huge. You can look at everything in 20 minutes.

I’ve always loved Rusty’s Markets it’s been part of our family’s weekends for as long as I can remember. Lately it’s really evolved into a must do every Sunday for our kids. The fresh produce has always been phenomenal, and we love all the new stalls and eateries that now make it the perfect spot for brunch. If you haven’t been recently, it’s definitely worth another visit!

Excellent selection of fruit and vegetable market as well as great food stalls. Top source for tropical fruit etc. Busy, bustling, full of atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit. Parking on the street side could be difficult. Metered too.

What a very busy place, I highly recommend if you don't like crowds, go very early and parking would be easier then. There are multiple stalls, selling the same thing, clothes, jewellery and food. If you like my reviews please follow us around Australia 🇦🇺.

Walked over at 7am on a Sunday morning - some places in the market were not open yet. There was so much fresh produce- fruits and veggies - farm fresh and priced were very reasonable.

Great variety of fruit and vegies available in this market , price is quite reasonable. Market is crowded with a lot of stalls and food choices . Food however did not come up to our expectation and quite pricey.

This market is a nice place to buy fruit, and the pre-cut mango was sweet and delicious. However, there isn’t really a proper place to sit and eat inside, and most stalls sell the exact same fruits at similar prices, which was a bit disappointing. It’s worth a visit if you have plenty of time, but I wouldn’t call it a must-see.

Really enjoyed the pasta – it was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The ambience was also a highlight, the setting is relaxed and inviting, perfect for a casual night out. The only downside was the service. While everything else impressed, our waiter came across as a bit rude, which slightly took away from the overall experience. That said, I’d still recommend it for the food and atmosphere – hopefully just a one-off with the service.

We went there before a show at the Tanks. I ordered the special which was Beef Cheek with beetroot purée - it was tender and delicious. My friends ordered pasta dishes which were very tasty and all beautifully presented. Great ambience and I would definitely eat there again.

My fiancé took me here for my birthday dinner. And it was so good we came back for breakfast the next day. Nico, the restaurant manager was an outstanding host. The pre-dinner cocktails were sensational. For food we got a mixture of the duck ragu pasta with gluten free penne, espresso Brie with gluten free pumpkin bread and rocket pizza on a gluten free base. My fiancé is gluten free and they were very accomodating for this. We felt very taken care of by the staff. Before we left we’d already decided we’d be back the next morning for breakfast. For breakfast, if you’ve got a large group, a booking might be a good idea. We were from out of town so didn’t realise how popular this place was. Now we can see why. The breakfast lived up the already exceptionally high dinner quality. I got the chilli and prawn linguine (before 10am, yes, how good?), fresh, light and plenty of prawns. My fiancé got the eggs benedict with pulled beef (a very welcome combo) as well as two extra fried eggs (she’s strange like that). No complaints on my end though as I got to finish off the parts she didn’t... holy smokes... the pulled beef... 10/10. Do yourself a favour and give it a try. Again, despite there almost not being a free seat in the whole place, Nico and the staff were an absolute delight. It was busy but not chaotic. Food and drinks were prompt. All 5’s. An excellent place if you’re from out of town visiting, do dinner and breakfast. And if you’re a local... well... I’m jealous. If/when we make it back, I’ll be doing the gluten-full options for dinner. The pizzas looked phenomenal. Highly highly recommend.

This place is incredible! I’ve had breakfast here before and it’s been amazing, but I’ve just visited for the happy hour (2-5pm) and it has blown me AWAY! Honestly. Amazing food, amazing drinks. The menu is so extensive for a happy hour! $14 cocktails, very reasonable food prices ($12 huge wood fired pizza) I can’t fault it. The service is attentive and friendly. Everything is truly top notch! I will be back again and again!

I ordered latte and tropical French toast. The coffee was good, the toast was bit of sweet for me. Bit of pricey, otherwise nice atmosphere, friendly service.

Black coffee is sweet and acidic, soy iced coffee tastes like actual coffee and not milk. 10/10 flavours. Service is fast. The cafe interior has an art studio style of seating arrangement, it may be hard to find seats in busy periods.

Fantastic café and location in Palm Cove. The smoothies were excellent, great baguettes and the coffee is delicious. They clearly care about the quality of what they serve. We even loved the option of enjoying our drinks on bean bags by the beach 😎

Delicious Açai - you HAVE to try the peanut butter option. Staff were super friendly and accommodating to our request to have an extra bowl as we didn’t want an entire açai each. Thanks crew!

This is a great coffee. We’ve had a few coffees now in FNQ and this place is worth making the effort to find them. They celebrated 10.09.25 with free coffees for their 5th Anniversary. Congrats.

If you visit Palm cove, you should visit this lovely place. They have beautiful coffee and all the food as well.

Fabulous find , 27 Degrees Coffee shop , not only has great coffee with my Lactose Free milk ! They also provide healthy food options Açai Bowls , gluten , vegan slices with a peanut inflluence. What a location as well , bean bags to take and sit overlooking the beach . I haven’t found anything so unique like this before . Definitely recommend! 😊

Food: Had a delicious smoothie, it was scrumptious, full of flavour and the price reasonable. Service: Service was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere: A delightful small seating area if you choose to stay, but an ideal spot to grab a drink or snack and head across the street to the beachside.

I was hyped up by the good reviews I saw but boy I was disappointed by the coffee, we tried both iced latte and a hot cappuccino and were absolutely disappointed. The coffee tasted bland and more on the acidic side, the iced latte tasted diluted and I tasted more water than milk. I love coffee but sad to say I really did not enjoy it here.

I am surprised to find a Japanese style brewing coffee at the Kuranda village. I have an amazing Iced coffee ever tasted in Australia.

Australians know how to make excellent coffee, and I am amazed at the quality of the locally grown coffee beans that this business uses. No decaf options are available as it's locally sourced coffee. The staff are very friendly and polite. Excellent desserts. Would be great if they considered serving sandwiches as well. Only one minor critique: I've noticed when you order a latte, the gentleman always puts chocolate powder on top of your drink whether you ask for it or not. I know this is a typical topping in Australia for cappuccinos, but definitely not for lattes. Just something for the business to bear in mind. Really nice cafe. They accept cash and card payments.

Wanted to stop and try coffee sourced from the rainforest. Never had a Vietnam style coffee (had French press) so decided to give a shot. This is cold brew dripped coffee. And man it is refreshing and tasteful. Sitting back and enjoying this fast drink.

My mushroom benny seemed not that fresh as the mushroom seemed to be re-heated. Service wise the staff with glasses was nice but the other staff was cold, and served a wrong drink(ordered dirty chai latte but I could feel the coffee shot not there at all) but I didn't wanna deal with him so just let it go. A very cute place in the middle of the city with a very positive vibe. The ladies in charge of the cafe were very helpful. The food is amazing. The coffee shop is busy in the morning with so many people grabing their coffee on the go. The coffee is really good. It was really great to start my day from that little cafe.

Absolutely unreal!! First time in Cairns, first coffee shop, food was both tasty and creative. The waffles and the special were definite highlights, the vegan option was above and beyond my expectations. The lady (married to a French man) who served us was a true ray of sunshine; her kindness, warmth, and bubbly attitude went far above standard customer service. A truly outstanding experience.

I have been here on two occasions. The first time, two people served me. The guy sat me down and gave me a menu and water, but no cups. Then, an English girl came over. I asked her for a dish recommendation between the "tropic paradise with scallops" and the "crab omelette," and she recommended the imported dish. I went with that. It was super nice. The omelette was a little runny inside, though, and the crab didn't have too much flavor. I went back two days later. The guy was my waiter again. My friend ordered her dish, then my second friend ordered. Halfway through her order, she didn’t quite understand something. When she asked the waiter, he responded with something like, "Should I go and come back?" I told him no and explained that she could also have avocado on the side. This really ruined our mood and made me feel rushed and unwelcome. I don’t think I will go back there again. The avocado was way overripe; it had an overripe or open-for-too-long taste and wasn’t really that nice. The scallops were raw in the middle. Waiters really need to be more polite to customers. If they don’t understand the dish, they should explain it a bit better. I have a massive following on Google and have never had this kind of treatment before. I watched the waiter, and he was like that with a few other tables! My profile has over 40 million views

I never get tired of coming to Guyala to get my coffee fix and my weekend breakfast! The portions are generous and you absolutely get what you’ve paid for. Both coffee and tea are exquisite, and the quality and freshness of the ingredients used make it an essential stop while in Cairns. Shoutout to the amazing staff as well!

Visited here a few times early this year for coffees & pastries, they were awesome. Have come back to find the in house pastries are now very dry. Pies have little to no filling and quite small for $10 each, pastry is tough and chewy. Sausage roll again very dry and filled with more breadcrumb than beef. Coffee is still very good. Shame to see as they're a bakery that should be known for excellent quality baked goods, not their coffee. Staff were very friendly. Had better @ 36,000ft in the air.

Havent been in over 2 years so thought Id check it out . Didnt disappoint! Great coffee and food . Its not just bread & pastries they have a brekkie menu and I tried the salmon avo on sourdough . Yum. Then next day I returned to try truffle mushrooms on toast with poached eggs added. Yummer.The fundamentals are very strong here once again . The Tao of casual but delicious cafe brunch dining has returned to this place

Food was great and decent coffee. Friendly staff. Very noisy atmosphere with a large table of old blokes talking very loudly which dominated the premises which made it difficult for others chatting. This made us rush through our breakfast. I get the feeling they are frequent customers which puts me off. If they are there next time I visit then I will go somewhere else.

EDIT: As most can see by reading the reviews, ownership would rather place blame on customers instead of accepting their product and service don’t meet the standards which their prices warrant. Aggressively mediocre food for high prices, staff may have never encountered another human being before. Burnt our 18$ toastie because of how inattentive their staff were then gave it to us flipped over so we wouldn’t see how burnt it was.

All Billy's places are excellent. The coffee is top notch, along with the atmosphere. The people are better. I always feel good after having a coffee and unwind at Billy's in Rusty's on a Sunday morning. Thank You to all involved.

Giant espresso! Rough as guts in a good way, absolutely nothing to complain about here but quell the excitement of your delicate palate and prepare to get muddy.

"Extra FROTH" travellers tip; if you want a traditional capacino with equal parts expresso, milk & crema foamy "froth" at Billy's (maybe all over Cans) just ask for extra FROTH, the result may not placate the Italiano, Milano, purists, fashionistas but its so much more satisfying then the "latte with chocolate powder on top" style that Cans seems to be eternally burdened with. The best part of Billy's is the friendly obliging service, that & the very reasonable prices (they must give an extra discount if you bring your own "keep" cup). The gallery space inside is ever changing & always worth the look, sometimes even brilliant local FNQ artists work. If it's not busy, I'm sure the workers (one of whom I'm sure is either Billy or son of Billy) would be receptive of a coffee conversation to improve there already excellent service & products. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 6(six) pineapples 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍

After traveling down the East Coast of Australia and trying countless coffees along the way, I finally found what I was looking for at Envy Espresso in Cairns. I ordered a flat white with oat milk, and my friend had a latte — both were incredible. What stood out was the perfect balance between the coffee and the milk.Too often, you only taste milk with just a whisper of coffee, here it was present, rich, and harmoniously blended. The proportions felt exact, allowing the true character of the coffee to shine through without being overpowered. For me, this was the ideal coffee experience, and without a doubt, the best coffee I have ever had.

Coffee was lovely. I ordered the eggs Benedict with bacon which was good pretty standard. My partner ordered the chicken fettuccine, and what came out to us was a crime against pasta. It was obvious it was just microwaved pasta. There was a sad plate of fettuccine sitting in a pool of oil, evident that the cream had separated from being zapped in the mic. For $28 you’d atleast expect it to be reheated in a pan so it combines properly, let alone, I don’t know, making it fresh perhaps for that price! Such a let down as we did really enjoy the coffee. Unfortunately spoiled the experience for us and we won’t be back :(

Fantastic breakfast and very reasonably priced in comparison to other options around Cairns. The coffee was delicious and we enjoyed both dishes that we got (Shakshuka and Bruschetta), if you are in the area I would recommend stopping in.

Fantastic food, friendly staff, the coffee is fantastic, definitely worth your time. MY wife and I frequented these guys on our honeymoon for 2 weeks straight only thing would be their food takes a little longer then you would like, but they hand deliver your food and coffee to you to make up for this. Lovely food and lovely staff. I had the waffles with bacon and cream, it was pretty good, but the bacon could’ve been crispier and the waffles are little fresher. The bacon and eggs were really good according to my wife. The coffee is outstanding, and definitely something I keep coming back to while here. I recommend coming here if you’re in the area. "This is how coffee's supposed to be." I said that the second our cups were put down on the table. Lovely coffee, I love the pleasant taste of it, which not any cafe can offer. Love how the place smells and feels. Had a lovely chat with James the boss. A small detail you won't see everywhere: tampons and pads are available in the bathroom, I think this deserves to be noticed. Love to be back anytime I can.

The coffee is just amazing, they distribute it around too, you can for sure find it in many small cute coffee places around Queensland. The tasting boards are a must, but the food is also really good, they have muffins, brownies, banana bread, oat cakes and similar, you have to get the raspberry white chocolate muffin, to good to be true!

My day off must visit place! This is a coffee shop that I will constantly come in my day off. And this coffee shop has changed my mind about Long Black. Since I had tried Long Black in different places and try to accept turning my habit with milky coffee into long black. However, the Long Black in other places are really sour and bitter at the end of my tongue. I gave up on trying Long Black for a while. But this place pick my long black up and made me accept it! It was first and ever💕 Good job! And the staff are also nice, having coffee in their shop you can actually see how the effort behind making a coffee! Great experience!

Nice ambience and convenient location with lots of free adjacent parking Coffee was nice. Eggs benedict was nice. Cheese and ham croissant was quite dry. It was luke warm so the cheese hadn't melted. If its to be surved cool, then need to include butter as it was a bit flaky and needed more moisture

I have been coming here for 5 years, Imo best coffee in Cairns. Great food and treats with lots of options and really well priced. My go to cafe for a coffee when in town, or to catch up with someone for breakfast or lunch. Luke and staff always friendly and up for a chat. The atmosphere is excellent, with a high ceiling and plants everywhere, it is quite a large, light filled space so you don't feel like your sitting in on anyone else's conversation or vice versa. Excellent cafe.

I can’t believe how rude the owner was. When he put the ice glass on the table, he put it down with a loud thud. There were bread crumbs on the table, so I asked him if he could wipe it, and he replied immediately, "You picked the dirty one.” It was really disappointing to see him treat his customers like this. I have never experienced such rude service in my life before. We came in for a coffee on a lovely Saturday morning and left feeling disrespected instead.

Very excited to have tried this cafe today! Sensational coffee, yummy brunch and a fantastic atmosphere. The fitout is fresh and modern too. We had the smoked salmon panini and the zucchini fritters and the food was great. Can’t wait to come back again - I only wish it was closer to home!

A Hidden Gem in Cairns – A Must Visit! My partner and I originally planned to visit Muddy’s Café, but it was packed, so we decided to try somewhere new—and we’re so glad we did! We stumbled upon Goose Specialty Coffee, and it completely exceeded our expectations. They had a special coffee menu, and we ended up trying three different drinks—each one was absolutely delicious. The food was just as impressive, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Honestly, the whole experience was amazing from start to finish. If you’re in Cairns, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won’t be disappointed!

Brilliant! Not just coffee but a coffee experience. Breakfast was very delicious. My friend had the Benny, and I had the Mushroom Hummus, which i thoroughly enjoyed. The offerings are exquisite, and I can't wait to go back and try the Midnight Mint and other specials. Many GF, Veg, and other options, too. A must if you love a coffee experience.

We decided to try this café for brunch because of its great Google ratings, and it didn’t disappoint in terms of food — everything we ordered was delicious! The interior is lovely and cozy, with lots of plants that create a fresh and relaxing vibe. However, the toilet is located outside, and its condition doesn’t match the standard and charm of the café itself. A renovation would definitely improve the overall experience.

Stumbled upon one of the best specialty cafés in Cairns . Cozy jungle vibes, the kind of place that makes you actually want to open your laptop and get stuff done (or at least pretend to). Maybe read a book, maybe just sit and zone out… either way, you won’t want to leave. Baristas? Artists. My latte was strong, smooth, perfect. Tried their Orange Pillow too and such a fun concept! Maybe the foam could hit harder, but still worth the sip. And the brownie? Crispy edges, gooey center, full on chocolate bliss. The specials menu is wild : Jasmine Dirty, Matcha Cloud, Midnight Mint Melt… Only downside? They close early…12:30 pm on a Saturday! So don’t leave it for the last minute. Go early and enjoy it slowly. I’m already planning my next visit. 10/10. Go.

We were invited to this coffee shop and found that there was a good atmosphere and vibe there. The sevice was good and friendly staff. I found the food was good and amazing coffee. We enjoyed our experience there and yes, we'll be back. We'll done.

This is a nice coffee shop tucked away in a small shopping area in Redlynch across the road from the Red Beret. The coffee shop is rather small as there are not enough tables, so you would have people standing awkwardly around. A lot of bar stools which are very uncomfortable. They don't have much of a menue unfortunately. I would have liked to have seen a bigger menue. The cakes and muffins are good. That being said, the coffee and the Matcha late was good. Another good thing is they have Cocktails to drink in the evening. The sevice was very good. Friendly staff. So I will definitely go back.

Had a girls get together after work. An hour catchup turned 5 hours of wine , cocktails, cheese boards and bites. The atmosphere was perfect for our catchup . It could quickly become our once a month ‘book club’ meeting space !

I’ve been here with some friends on a Wednesday night for the first time and i loved it! The cocktails were delicious, the atmosphere was nice and chill and service was excellent. Will come back for sure!

My wife and I both had a BLT bagel. Even though the actual bagel was large, the filling was not so. A large lettuce leaf, 2 small slices of thin tomato, 1 and 1/2 pieces of eye bacon, as thin as shaved ham and Mayo. The bagel was very chewy, had to cut even with the knife supplied. The coffee and tea were beautiful. The seating was awkward, we had to ask the ladies seated next to us to move so we could get out as the tables when full are so close makes egress and access very hard. Staff were very pleasant, cafe was very clean, we will visit again but choice of food may be different.

An absolute lovely local, super friendly family business. The atmosphere is one you could get happily lost in for hours and the coffee is truly next level. You really couldn't ask for anything more.

Excellent BLT on bagel. Coffee order was stuffed up so the small flat white was horrible but tasted another and it was 7/10. Nice inside.

Incredible! My wife and I both had the bacon and egg burger (add kewpie mayo trust me). We inhaled it. Everything about it was perfect. They were so friendly and were happy to make our coffee and burger how we wanted it. We had a double ristretto flat white 3/4 filled. Coffee was great. Plus it was nice to walk around and check out The Deck Store too. Will be back.

Used to be my favorite coffee, until always changing barista, always different flavor. Brought my own mug today and in the wrong size. Ordered a almond flat white but come in fresh milk. Frustrated Another day: the cup quality is too thin, the lid easy to open, it’s spilled over into my car. That’s why today i brought my own mug instead

Went for the Tirimisu Cold Brew and it did not disappoint. My only comment is that I wish it came in a larger size as it was good all too soon. The Coffee is consistently great. The Tirimisu Cold Brew is a must try

My favourite coffee shop in Cairns! The staff are always so lovely and helpful even as they rush around doing a million things. Their service is fast and they never fail to deliver on presentation. They use White Whale coffee, my favourite blend is riptide, highly recommend👌 Love their match as well🍵☕️

Accidental find while heading to the Botanical Gardens. Edgehill was busy with all the breakfast and coffee places full. Very happy with the service and great coffee taste. Great addition to the short visit to Cairns. Would surely drop by again if visiting again.

I accidentally discovered this hole in the wall about a year ago... and this is now 1 of only 2 places I ever go to for coffee. This company only hires barista's that have a passion for what they do, and Cameron, Timmy and Ricky prove this in every cup. I am an extremely picky coffee drinker, preferring to start my day with 2 x double espressos - a coffee with nothing to hide behind. And it has to be good. Really good. This place is my go to because it delivers every time and the service is amazing.

I’ve had a few coffees from here now & it does not disappoint. :) Saw the great reviews on here for the mojo blend & thought I’d give it a crack on my home machine. Can’t fault this place on anything.

I bought a kilo of Mojo coffee, the grind didn’t suit my machine, I called up and explained my issue. They offered me 2 samples of different grinds to try, then I tried them and went back for my kilo bag that worked well in my machine! Very grateful for the great service and offer of samples to try! Very happy customer that I went back and shouted my friend coffee and a croissant to spend more money there! Thanks guys, great coffee!
