This is a great restaurant with delicious tapas. The hosts are really friendly and they are happy to talk you through all the dishes. If you're looking for a good experience in Tenerife, this is definitely the place to go!
A fantastic little traditional tapas place with a lot of heart! The team is incredibly friendly and passionate about what they do. The atmosphere is lively, and the service is impressively fast. We enjoyed every single dish—simple, authentic Spanish cuisine, but executed really well. The best way to experience it? Order the tapas-sized portions and try a bit of everything! We were absolutely delighted and would come back anytime. A reservation is highly recommended, as many guests were waiting outside for a free table.
Fabian R — Google review
An excellent restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and outstanding cuisine. The menu is unique for the local area, offering interesting and original dishes. The squid was incredibly juicy and tender, literally melting in the mouth — I have never eaten squid more delicious than here. We loved everything, and the staff was pleasant and attentive. We will definitely come back!
Pavel M — Google review
Good food for really affordable prices. They have menu in spanish but also a qr code to English menu which helps a lot. Sangria was nice
Marjolijn V — Google review
This place is an absolute gem! The octopus was perfectly tender with a smoky char that melted in the mouth—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. And the orange chicken? A masterpiece. Sweet, tangy, and crispy in all the right ways. Every bite was bursting with flavor. Can’t wait to come back!
Tomek T — Google review
We ordered several dishes in the form of tapas. All were very tasty and fresh. I especially recommend the tuna tartare! Nice service and owner of the place, relaxed atmosphere :)

An amazing tapas plas in Los gigantes short walk as you come back from the beach. The food is lush we had so many things. They do classic potatoes bravos, orange chicken, tuna tarte and also barraquito!! Love this place recommend.

Visited on 22 Oct 2024 **Outstanding Tapas Experience** Having lived in Los Gigantes for six years, I’ve had the privilege of visiting many restaurants in the area, but none quite match the exceptional experience at this particular establishment. Although I'm now back in the UK, I make it a point to return to this gem whenever I'm in town. The restaurant, while smaller than most, consistently delivers an outstanding dining experience. Despite its size, it's always bustling with customers—at one point, diners would even sit on the wall waiting for a table. The staff works tirelessly to accommodate everyone, often moving or adding tables along the walkway when the surrounding shops are closed, ensuring every guest is seated. When it comes to tapas, this restaurant is, without a doubt, the best on the island. The quality of the dishes is unparalleled—each tapa is thoughtfully prepared and bursting with authentic Spanish flavors. While service might take a few extra minutes, the wait is absolutely worth it. You can see the staff hustling back and forth, delivering stunning plates with impressive efficiency and always accompanied by a warm smile. The effort they put into each dish is clear, and it’s no surprise that Spanish locals, a true mark of authenticity, frequent this spot regularly. For anyone visiting Los Gigantes, I highly recommend a visit. It’s wise to book in advance, as the food tends to sell out quickly, especially later in the evening. If you find yourself unsure of where to go for a memorable tapas experience, this is *the* place. Kudos to the team at Tas-k—I look forward to my next visit.

Restaurant
Located in a hidden passageway near Verdes Bazaar, Charlie's Bistro los Gigantes is a top restaurant offering a unique blend of Moroccan and European cuisine. The menu, which changes with the seasons and local ingredients, features smaller portions for children. Guests praise the warm hospitality from Jason, Bernard, and the team. The two-course fixed price menu is particularly popular, offering options like battered asparagus, fish cakes, salads, steak, curry or stew.
It's a great place to eat with a great service!! There's a lovely atmosphere there, and you're made to feel very welcome. Definitely book in advance.

Outstanding food and friendly service here! Realistically priced 2-course menu with plenty of choices, with delicious desserts to follow. You must try the raspberry financiers, it was amazing. Jason is a very affable and amusing host too

Had a fantastic meal for 2 here tonight. So good that we are actually going again before the end of our holiday. Jason is a very good host and makes sure that everyone is happy- the food was sublime, the best we have had on our many trips to Tenerife- and we have had some really good meals in the past. Amazing value and all cooked from scratch. Having been a chef for many years I really do appreciate how much work this takes. I can’t praise this place enough. We had a 5 day wait before they could fit us in as the place is so popular- and now I can see why. I can’t wait to go back again, Vikki and Simon .
Vikki E — Google review
Food excellent, service excellent. Due to an illness I have great difficulty eating food, so to find a restaurant I felt comfortable enough to attempt eating is a bonus. However, the biggest plus for me was the Moroccan Lamb Casserole. I've lived on a pureed & a very soft diet for over a yr now & to have managed to eat a small portion of this delicious dish was second heaven. There are many tempting dishes on the menu I'd love to try. Price wise, excellent - quality food but not at the expense of your pocket. Cannot praise it enough.
Anne W — Google review
Simply superb! We love this place! The staff are wonderful and the food is just superb, it’s made with love. If you want to eat here please make sure you book in advance because it’s that popular you won’t get a table otherwise. You will not be disappointed with this restaurant.

Restaurant
Located in Los Gigantes, KV Bar Gourmet is a charming harbourside restaurant offering a delightful blend of French and Belgian cuisine. The menu features an array of French delicacies and traditional Mediterranean dishes, with an emphasis on fresh, locally-sourced seafood. The restaurant's romantic ambiance, complete with dim lighting and wooden decor, makes it an ideal choice for a special dinner date. Guests can also enjoy expertly crafted cocktails to complement their meals.
Such a wonderful experience with the owner making us feel at home. The starters were excellent - I had the goats cheese and my wife had the oysters paired with a Spanish white wine. For mains we enjoyed the pasta dish with baby squid. This place is highly recommended. It’s popular so looks like you need to book for a diner.
Raymond F — Google review
A small, cozy restaurant with tasty food, quick service, and a lovely view. The staff are attentive and make the dining experience enjoyable. The interior and restroom could use a bit more attention when it comes to cleanliness, but overall, it’s a charming spot. A pleasant place to experience, worth keeping in mind.
Damaris S — Google review
Lovely experience as a solo diner. Asked the waiter for the best seafood dish and the tuna fillet did not disappoint! Delicious, would love to return to try more dishes
Aamina Y — Google review
Awesome 👏 It was the best place in Tenerife 🔥 I have read some reviews about this restaurant, but I didn’t expect nothing special, because sometimes reviews lie. Not in this case. We ordered dorado fish and black angus steak. And we liked the latter the most, that two days later we came back to eat it again. excellent service with a smile from the owner of the establishment. Go to this place, the view is super, the prices are low.

One of our absolute favourite spots in Tenerife. Sarah and her wonderful team consistently go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. The food is exceptional, and the atmosphere is just as delightful, relaxed, friendly, and full of charm. We wholeheartedly recommend visiting this hidden gem during your stay in Tenerife. Thank you, Sarah, for yet another lovely evening!

Great food. Fresh and tasty. Poor service (waiting too long to Order and for bill) But the ladies were very kind. Owner not got a clue.
Andrew P — Google review
Nice location outside with a terrace. When we arrive a little after 8 pm, an older waiter told us that the kitchen was already closed and we could only have drinks. While we checked for other options, he came and told us that the kitchen would make an exception and that we could order food. We ordered food and drinks with another waiter. The enchiladas were ok, but a little bit more sauce for the salad would be good. My friend had a vegetarian curry as the vegan chili con carne was not available, which was a bit bland (lots of potatoes and rice). The live music was nice. Service was extremely mixed, the waitress and a younger waiter were friendly, but the older waiter seemed to be quite annoyed with us and took severely smoking breaks.
Ariane S — Google review
Great bar/ restaurant, we initially went to have a few drinks with a view (which is amazing) then returned a few days later and had a meal, bruschetta to start which was delicious and both had steaks for main which were cooked to perfection (highly recommended) we watched the sun set while eating our meal and listened to the live music. Highly recommended! The staff were fabulous with our little boy. The sangria is also great, we will be returning
Lizzie R — Google review
I recently visited a restaurant that served delicious fish dishes and burgers, paired with cold beers and an amazing view of palm trees. Not only was the food excellent, but the workers were also incredibly nice, making the overall dining experience a delight. The fish dishes were especially noteworthy, with fresh and perfectly cooked fish that melted in your mouth. The menu offered a variety of fish options, including salmon, tuna, and cod, all served with sides that complemented the flavors perfectly. The burgers were also delicious, with juicy patties and fresh toppings that added the perfect crunch and texture to every bite. To top it all off, the beer selection was extensive, with a variety of local and international beers to choose from. The restaurant's atmosphere was also exceptional, with an amazing view of palm trees swaying in the breeze, creating a perfect tropical vibe. The ambiance was complemented by the friendly and attentive workers who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and satisfied. They provided excellent service, answering any questions we had and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
Habib S — Google review
The food here was superb and worth the value for the money. I ordered a spicy chicken wrap and my partner ordered the Friday special fish and chips , the portions were very filling and tasted amazing! There was live music on and it consisted of popular 80s music which was very entertaining. The servers we encountered spoke English and were very polite. There was also pool table near the swimming pool with beautiful views .

I haven’t tried food there but only drinks and it was good. Worth to use happy hour to get second drink free 🙂 View is awesome!

The best Gambas & Sangria i’ve ever had. And the servers were super nice as well. Definetly will come back when i’m here in Tenerife again. Everything was perfect!!

Delicious food and great service in a lovely location. We came for tapas at lunch and enjoyed all of our food - we got the baked camembert bites, shark taco, Canarian potatoes and beef and pork enchilada. Very good price as well - 30 euros for 4 tapas, a beer and a soft drink, which was plenty for lunch for 2 of us. This was the best lunch we had in Los Gigantes.
Beth F — Google review
Booked on the day but unable to get a table outside as so busy. Table inside by window was perfect though. Service was a little slow but really didn't bother us as nice to sit and chat. Salmon, lamb and cod dishes were gorgeous. Curry was okay. Will definitely visit again.
Karen B — Google review
We traipsed around Los Gigantes for some time looking for a restaurant that would meet the needs of our family of four, including two vegetarians and one fussy teenager. We found the perfect place in CK’s - a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, aesthetic setting, friendly staff and an interesting diverse menu with great vege options. Food was exceptional. We loved it!
Teresa N — Google review
Excellent Bistro! Book to make sure you get a table. Service was attentive, starters, main course & dessert were all fantastic as was the wine selection. Very good value for money and friendly. It's not always high on people list of things in a resteraunt but it must be said that toilet facilities are spotless. Make a point of having a meal here if you can.
Doug S — Google review
We came here expecting an amazing food experience after looking at the tapas menu. However when we sat down and was served some food we was extremely disappointed with what we had been given. We quickly realised that the food was not fresh at all and in our conclusion frozen food. ( I have had much better frozen food). The servers were very nice and friendly and good at their jobs but the food was a no go!
Sophia B — Google review
Healthy, freshly-made tapas, hidden in a picturesque alley. The food is absolutely worth the wait, and you can tell they are taking time to prepare it as perfectly as possible. Vegan options are appreciated, really recommend this restaurant!

Casa Edu is a must-visit dining spot in Tenerife, known for its mouth-watering Secreto Iberico and grilled chicken. The food is described as gourmet at affordable prices, drawing both locals and tourists. The service is top-notch, adding to the overall entertainment experience. Dishes like Garlic Mushrooms and Carne con la Piedra are highly recommended by visitors who also praise the friendly staff.
Our friends invited us to this place as we wanted to try some local canarian food. The service was excellent, attentive hosts and the food was very fresh and very tasty. The only drawback i can tell is the whole restaurant had a smell of smoking meet so all clothes later were very smelly 😅. Overall i really recommend this place if you want to try local canarian food!

Great place. We had very tender, grilled t-bone and chicken plus home made creme Catalana. Excellent quality. Prices have gone up a lot (50%) last years but it is worth a visit.
Maickel H — Google review
Big portion, spareribs where for me too much fat. The chicken needed a bit longer. Maybe we choose not the right food. Dont want to give really bad score. But for me it will stay with one visite.

Everything is perfect! The staff is fast and nice, the foods are huge and cheap, the taste is amazing! You have to ask a number when there is a queue, but its definitely worth to wait. Its a special expereince.

During my week long visit in Tenerife I have been to this restaurant 4 times. The people working there are incredibly kind and attentive, extremely professional, and you feel "at home" in a few minutes. An then the food: the meat is first quality, of course, and you have to try the pimientos de padron (the dish is huge and they are cooked at perfection), and the (amazing) garbanzas - which is not a vegetarian plate, as it sounds, mind you! I miss you guys! You are the best. I can't wait to come back :)

Staying in Puerto de Santiago for a week and so glad we came across Casa Edu. By far the best food we tried during our stay and we ended up eating here three times!! Delicious food and great value for money. Homemade wine and authentic Canarian food!! Delicious desserts too. We tried to the Iberico pork, the t-bone steak, the grilled cuttlefish and a selection of canarian starters too!! Make sure to get the mojos sauces too!! Really lovely atmosphere and lots of locals eating here too!! They don’t take bookings so get here early to avoid waiting. We waited max 30mins for a table. 10/10 would recommend for authentic canarian food!!
Justin I — Google review
Our favorite meal of the trip. The service was on point and food was delicious. Even though the staff was busy, when we asked them questions about the food they took their time and answered us courteously. We were happy with the snacks and the meats. All prepared fresh and served promptly. Do not miss the dessert, I’ve never had polvito uruguayo before but now it is top 3 of my ultimate desserts. Since then I’ve had the same dessert at a restaurant near Benijo beach but the one at Casa Edu was much more exquisite.
Jenny L — Google review
This place was recommended to us by some locals in the area. The food (and wine) was phenomenal. The portions are huge, so we weren't able to try as much as we wanted to. Everything we did order was fantastic. I recommend the ropa vieja! Service was amazing as well.

First class would be an understatement, Met by a very friendly Scots man who took well care of us. The afternoon tea was lovely, plenty of choices for the sandwiches. Our first day in Tenerife couldn't have gotten off to a BETTER start! Fantastic welcome from the host, the beverage and food menu choice was huge...Look out for the cheeky "Gin Tasting Nights" on offer, too! Our sandwiches (Egg Mayo/Cream Cheese, Roasted Peppers, Onions & Mushrooms) were freshly made & the cakes (Bakewell Tart/Carrot Cake) were extremely tasty to accompany our "Yorkshire Tea" selection - all great value at just over €12 each! Portions were just right & nicely presented. Overall, a great experience & we were just sad that we got there late, as we would've spent much longer than the hour we had. Thank you so much for a fun start to our holiday. Hugely recommended!

Whether you're in the mood for drinks or a meal, Bamboo Bar offers a welcoming and down-to-earth experience that keeps guests coming back for more.
I went here with a friend with me to spend some time, I got whatever I wanted to drink here, their rate was also low and the place to sit in front was also good, even further when I get time, I will be here Will definitely go here to have a good drink for less money and I invite all of you to come here, along with this there is a restaurant in India in Punjab where you can eat your food and here you can drink your food. I love going here

Fab place to b, so homely, down to earth. Loved it. This was one of our favourite bars along with richardson's bar. Just fab, thank you for your hospitality xx

Went on a Sunday where only one woman was running the entire bar including making food. She was lovely and provided really good service but was occasionally run off her feet. Football was being shown on tv in the corner. Not a massive place and not a lot of comfortable sitting to eat however plenty of seats for just drinking. Cocktails are €6 and are of relative quality however very watery. We had food, it was okay food and was enough to fill a hole but not the best quality.

Landlady is vile, worst attitude ever typical self entitled Brit abroad, avoid this place and enjoy the bars further down the road as we did if you don't want to be spoken to like school children l, I though it funny that it was empty, no recommendations for this dive.
SOULKEEPAH — Google review
It is what it is, which is a very well run bar for expats. Both the beer and the food are good and very sensibly priced. Don't expect anything too Spanish about the place, but do expect good service, good value for money and a smile.

Wonderful place, must try the bucket deal for 10 💶. Coffee was the only let down.

Just what I needed after a few days of all inclusive hotel beer. Lovely little bar where I could rest my weary legs and taste some decent lager. Nice and quiet when I visited in the afternoon.

Italian restaurant
Nestled in a charming pedestrian alleyway in downtown Puerto de Santiago, Rosso Pomod’oro offers a delightful dining experience that captures the essence of Italian cuisine. With its inviting red exterior and classic checkered tablecloths, this restaurant exudes a warm and authentic vibe. While it is particularly famous for its mouthwatering pizzas, the menu also showcases an array of traditional dishes from Italy that are sure to please any palate.
Came here tonight for a meal with my boyfriend and couldn’t be happier! The food was absolutely amazing, one of them places where you can’t get enough of it. Definitely would recommend - such good value for money we went somewhere before but left before ordering as the menu wasn’t that great & was very overpriced don’t think twice about coming here! It’s quite tucked away from the other main restaurants/bars along the road. The service was also lovely and welcoming. Will definitely come back when we return next year!

Incredible italian food cuisine! All food seems amazing! We tried pasta, steak and traditional pizza! Overwhelmed with taste and portions. If you are in Los Gigantos and get famished after swim , trip etc you gotta go there! No big wait for food either, perfect and ideal time-wise. The waitresses is very kind and friendly.

I hate to be this one guy who ruins it for you, given the fact that they had 5 stars reviews up until now. My comment is focusing solely on their pizzas and the long waiting time. We were the first guests of the evening but after we sat down the place slowly filled up. The lady owner was very nice but she seemed to be really overwhelmed. If I’m not mistaken there was only one cook that day. We ordered a salad, grilled assorted veggies and two pizzas. The appetizer took unusually long and the main dish took even longer. The salad and the grilled veggies were not bad. There’s still however a big room for improvement for pizzas. The taste, the texture of the dough as well as the cheese were not at all the thin crusted pizzas we know. The dough was too dry and the marinara relatively bland. The cheese was already hard when it was served, not the slightest cheesy. When I attempted to fold a piece in half it even broke off. But see it for yourself. Maybe you have better luck than we did.

Lovely authentic food and friendly server. However with just that lady handling all front of house it did not work. Everybody had to wait and there was too much rushing. Rosé knowingly served warm and no wine bucket offered. Spoiled the night but with adequate staffing we'd definitely come back as the food was good.

I enjoyed a lot of the dishes I ordered. The waitress was friendly.

Really was 5 stars all round for us. The food was so tasty. No pretension, just good ingredients and technique. We loved it. My favourite of the 6 restaurants we visited in the area. The woman who seems to be in control was so lovely. Grazie Mille! Squisito!

If you're looking for an authentic dining experience in Los Gigantes, look no further than Taberna Santa Maria. This charming tapas bar is a beloved spot among locals, offering a warm and familial atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Just steps away from the stunning Playa de los Guios and facing the picturesque Puerto de Los Gigantes, it's the perfect place to enjoy traditional Spanish cuisine.
We discovered this place last year- and also this year we were not disappointed!!! Fantastic, traditional Spanish cuisine! Delicious prawns with garlic, traditional prawns and octopus vinegar salad, white wine and delicious crema Catalana served frozen!! Moreover the service was excellent. I bet that those who complain about “small” portions are spaghetti-bolognese-everywhere type of tourists 🤪 taberna Santa Maria- you are doing it great! 👍🏻

Great place to stop for a quick lunch! We got served quickly and the view of Los Gigantes is just incredible! The restaurant has amazing interior, feels like an old English pub. The food was good, and fairly priced. Overall highly recommended if you want a good view with good food.
Alex S — Google review
The food was average, and unfortunately, the staff didn’t speak a word of English, which made communication difficult. We chose this restaurant because it’s located by the harbor and we were waiting for a boat. If possible, I would recommend looking for another restaurant nearby.
Josef B — Google review
We were there just for coffee, as it was closed when we finished our cruise and we couldn't try the food. But the coffee was great. One of the few places on tenerife that had coffee I didn't hate. It's not drip or anything but it tastes good.
Damian G — Google review
We only popped in for a cup of tea and a beer but the service was very friendly and quick. Nice view of the marina and boats
