A recent visit revealed a wait time of about nine minutes for a simple cheeseburger and shake, which isn't too bad considering the bustling environment.
Shout out to Via for her amazing customer service and help. The first mcds to help me with app (three other branches just acted like wifi was not working to rush the service) whereas Via showed me about changing my location so l can get points and redeem food.
She is an asset! Friendly, patient and helpful!!

waited nearly 15minutes at the counter to receive a burger that was not only cold it had all the cheese and salad items in the bottom of box, also witnessed a staff member touching items of food with his dirty hands and not washing after delivering food items to waiting customers outside the restaurant. staff were very busy entertaining each other whilst the customers waited for there food. worst McDonalds ever
On 27/8 I ordered 2 iced coffees, a wrap, a breakfast sandwich on the app. All that turned up was one of the iced coffees and that took over an hour to arrive! (Still waiting for a refund from uber and it took me 2hrs to get some kind of communication)
Today I placed an order and it came stone cold and squashed. It wasn’t the driver as the outside bag was perfectly fine.
Every single time I order food atleast one item is missing, I will never understand how difficult it is to ensure all items are packaged, is there no quality checks? How can you miss out the burger from a meal, every single time it is the burger missing, I can get over some fries every now and again, but a burger is the main item, and for the uber support team to only offer a £3.77 refund for the item (On this occasion a big arch burger - £9.99 for just the burger) is ridiculous, I now have to chase up the restaurant which when I called disconnected the call as soon as I started to talk. Picking up the food yourself is a better option but when you are getting stung all these extra fees to pay for the convenience of delivery you expect it to be correct.
Oh this was a complete disaster. Had to stay in the drive in for 15mins, was told that their system crashed. orders were then rushed thereafter cause of the long wait, they missed an apple pie cause the order was taken wrong and the girl at delivery asked me to go back on the queue. What nonsense. As if that wasn’t bad enough, I bought a large meal and the fries even though was in the big box was less than medium and finally, the entire meal was in itself ice cold!!!! What a waste of money and TIME.
Told my kids we need to boycott McDonald’s for a while, my son laughed and said, dad, they don’t care at that branch of McDonald’s
What a mess
I have been ordering from this site for years and am really disppointed of late. We ordered our normal meal from this site and two coca colas - large with no ice. Almost a 3rd of the top ( the wider area) was empty. The store has reduced thew amount they're giving to customers - extremely dissapointing.
As normal. Drive through gave me the wrong order. I checked it as I normally do, right number of items. Didn’t realise I now have to open each item to make sure it’s what I ordered. It almost feels intentional as it happens all the time, at most stores.

ALLERGY AWARE! Ordered a Vegan breakfast which arrived with cows butter, luckily I noticed & avoided a trip to the hospital as i'm allergic, the waitress had no idea & didn't care, the food itself was awful, smashed avocado? Watery & chunks of unripe crunchy avocado, some form of tomato liquid (see photo) & that's with paying for a extra hash brick, prison food is better quality & no plant milks, will NEVER eat here again.
Cutlery always dirty. Teapots and mugs dirty. Tables always dirty. Staff seem put out taking your order, food items always unavailable and staff never have a clue what alternatives they can offer. Requests for dairy free spread often arrive as real butter so no clue about dietary allergies. Coffee machines always out of order. The "waiting staff" are always pleasant but overall it's really not worth coming any more.
I ordered afternoon tea here now, it's the only thing I really enjoy. The hot meals always had a problem with. The staff were friendly.
This is the best place for a breakfast. Clean Fast service form the Staff and also very friendly.

Rude staff, food not ready despite their display saying it was. On questioning why KFC are giving wrong information staff claim it's not wrong the food is ready just not finished cooking. I’m disabled using a mobility scooter and got told after 18 months I’m not allowed to take it into the store as I can walk a short distance and I don’t need it . The arrogance of the staff on the way they treat disabled people is disgraceful to the food service . I suggest keeping away from the Strood restaurant unless the staf gain respect and training on the laws of mobility users . Walked out no food tonight Monday 19th may 2025
Last time coming to this store. Horrible, old and burnt hot wings, no seasoning on the chips (costs less than pennies), my zinger was very firm, I don't think it was "technically" raw but was basically that, very unpleasant. Also no salsa on the zinger anymore? Lame. Very depressing place to sit in and eat.
I do not know what has happened to this KFC, but last nights take away order will be the last. The chicken tasted awful. It was most likely cooked in well used oil. Sadly had to bin most of the meal.
Food was very hot and tasty. I picked up, missing chicken balls so had to go back in. Apart from that happy.
The food was good, staff and atmosphere was lacking. It was quiet when I went in but the staff still looked miserable and like they didn't want to be there.

Usual typical Whimpy fare, but food that you can rely on to be cooked fresh and to a great standard. Service was friendly and welcoming. The premises were kept clean including the toilets, which is the place that I judge all food premises from, if the toilets are clean then standards a pretty good.We finished the meal off with the obligatory Brown derby.

I have a natural affinity with Burgers. They call to me and are my quintessential Achilles heel.
This is what brought me to Wimpy to try the Half Pounder with Cheese and Bacon, along with Fries/Chips.
Looked absolutely amazing on first sight and I couldn’t wait to taste my meal.
Staff were Uber polite and helpful.
I was served straight away and didn’t wait more than ten minutes for my food.
Was quite noisy and lots of people were coming and going.
The seating was very comfortable but surprisingly the seat adjacent to mine had patches of material missing…
I recommend that you don’t sit by the main entrance as the Alarm beeps around every 2 minutes, which is very annoying.

If you like Burgers I highly recommend the Wimpy.
So instead of two crispy Chicken burger the delivery man eventually turned up with two of the pathetic burgers below! Delivery time kept getting pushed back and took forever for the delivery driver to try and deliver the wrong order to the wrong house! Not surprisingly the food was cold by the time it arrived.
Only the dog was happy as he was the only one not appalled by the meal that we received.

This place is kids friendly and limited parking space at the rear of the restaurant, but their is free praking at Aldi store which is also behind the restaurant. I will definitely visit again.
I just ordered food the milkshake was GONE OFFF they used gone off products to make the milkshake and it split everywhere it was not packaged properly the burger was dry and tasteless it wasn’t even cooked properly, and i waited 1 hour please if you don’t want to get food poisoning don’t order from here

Comfy - Always visited this restaurant for many years back as a child with my mother, and only visited the other day with my brother and sister, reminiscing about the 80's bygone era of eateries back in the day, such as the little chef and happy eater too.
Tad more expensive than a normal burger chain but we all were happy with food quality and portions. Decor had been nicely updated from old but still retains its traditional Wimpy style.
Looked like the staff had changed from old but nevertheless very pleasant and attentive.
Couldn't leave without squeezing in Brown Derby, my favourite of old. But missed out on the lime milkshake, that's next time! Would definitely visit again no problem 5/5

Service was lovely easy to talk with , Atmosphere was fine quiet, food for £11.50, I'm used to getting better in taste (maybe because it was early in the day or something but meat was dry and a little rubbery) salad was lovely and fresh, chilli sauce was more of a cool tomato salsa, for the size that it cost im used to a lot more (not that i wanted more of this particular batch) . This time was eatable but can't say i will be back in a rush, hopefully i just cought them on a 'bad day' but im left disappointed.

This seems like a very stingy and dishonest place. The salad was not very fresh and was expired. They didn't give the bread that comes with the kebab instead they gave me the 10p white pitta bread.

We don’t order very often but we find you can rely on the quality and we order when family are visiting. We fed 6 with plenty of leftovers for £60. The big spring rolls are a meal on their own, fantastic value. The dry ribs also great portion a size for all. Never an upset stomach either.

Absolutely the best fish 'n' chips in Medway. Run by the same friendly family who own the shop in Hoo. The batter is perfect each time. Only ever had excellent food both shops and have been using them for years. Would recommend to anyone particularly those who miss traditional fish 'n' chips cooked to perfection. Busy at key times and deservedly so 👍❤️

Really wish there was a zero star rating. Ordered a large portion of chips which was definitely not large and certainly not worth £5.20! Have ordered and picked up previously and had a much larger portion of chips. Certainly will not be ordering again.

A big thank you to the staff at McCoys, Frindsbury. Following the temporary closure of the Hoo shop, the team here stepped up to prepare 34 portions of fish and chips for our evening function. The food was ready at exactly the time requested, it was freshly cooked, hot, sizeable portions and very tasty.
I cannot fault the service provided by all concerned.

Best fish and chips that I can ever remember eating and trust me its my go to take away so Ive had more than my fair share. This is my first ever positive google review but the food was deserving of it.
The staff are very friendly and polite. Fish was cooked to order, the batter is thin and crispy, the cod was flaking as it should and very succulent, it was cooked to perfection.
The chips were also amazing not too crispy and not soggy and tasted amazing too. Its not very often you come across both fish and chips this good so well done to you all thanks for amazing food.
There only thing that lets this place down is its a 9 hour round trip to my home!!!!!!

This is the best pizza in Medway. I wouldn’t usually bother writing reviews on such big companies when most people know what to expect and probably wouldn’t bother checking the reviews anyway. However this Papa Johns is exceptional. I have ordered pizza from Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Pizza go go and more in local areas and all over the country as well as in other parts of the world in some cases. But no other pizza restaurant has delivered my pizza at the perfect standard each and every time. Every time it is made and delivered within half an hour, burning hot and fresh. I have never had an issue. The only down side is they are always out of the chicken papa bites and they are my absolute favourite!!! I will always continue to order from here as my go to pizza delivery place. No other pizza is as good as this one.

Compared to other pizzas I have ordered, there is no grease on the box, Papa Johns seems to be more healthy than anywhere else... the delivery was extremely quick and customer service was perfect I would recommend to anyone who loves good food... also not to mention the discount deals they offer

Ordered food for my family and only when checking the online tracker 40mins after I ordered I found out it had been cancelled. No information as to refund or a reason. Tried to call store (as directed by the email that followed) for 15 mins and the only answer I got was someone picking the phone up and putting the phone straight down! Absolutely shocking!
First time using this particular branch of Papa John's - my favourite high street pizza chain - and I'd have to say I was very satisfied. As good as any pizza I've ordered from other PJ outlets, delivered promptly and piping hot to my door. It's worth checking for deals either online or over the phone, since there's usually some promotion or other on any given day. I took advantage of the bogof Two-For-Tuesdays deal, but there are plenty of other ways to save a bit of cash. Convenient opening hours of 11am to 11pm.

Have only had 2 takeaways from your chips shop and have not been disappointed chicken was lovely and very filling chips lovely .i have a fish and chip shop round the corner from me but prefer to eat from your place .lovely food keep up the good work .
Food is lovely so much variety fish and chips, kebabs, burgers and it taste all so good. Our favourite takeaway at the moment. Hope they start doing pizza's soon too 😋
Amazing fish and chips. Cod is always fresh with tasty batter. Fish always white. Chips are crispy and actually taste like potato. Portions very generous. Love takeaway from here.

Went in for the first time on Sunday around 8pm, the young lady was so friendly and had exceptional customer service, the food was also fantastic, was ready instantly staff here are solid very fast and efficient and make great tasting food, will come here from now on when getting takeaway with my partner

Ordered a large lamb shish from here on 27/10/24 at 8pm. Delivery was fast that’s my only compliment. The lamb was chewy, the salad was tiny although fresh. My kebab looked like it was thrown around. I will never order from here again. Don’t waste your money, order from Istanbul Flames instead.
I used to order all the time from here as It's one of the best quality kebab meats around here but recently the standards have dropped
My food came dripping in fat and got delivered cold. Chips were dry too sadly.
I recently ordered a pizza and they got my order wrong las and it was cold again, HOWEVER the store owner was polite and delivered a refund for my pizza only, even though all my food was cold.
It's shame but won't be ordering anymore.

Used their app clearly shows a chicken kebab no.5 and got sent lamb , when I called and pointed out they said nothing they can do , I won't use again i wouldn't bother with them pitta bread soaked through and unusable
Nice mixed grill box with salad and chips, just ordered again for delivery, arrived promptly, ordered was correct, was hot and tasty and saved us from cooking after a long day. Our go too place for takeaway.

Darnley Grill & Pizza is a hidden gem located on the Rochester side of Medway, offering an authentic dining experience that feels delightfully old school. You can simply call in your order and expect a speedy delivery within half an hour, complete with a menu for future cravings. While I haven't tried their pizzas yet, their kebabs are truly something special! The giant tray of kebab is perfect for sharing among four people at an unbeatable price.
By far the best in Medway. Excellent food, great service, great team. My son gets a lollipop every time we visit which is a lovely touch! Would thoroughly recommend. 👍

I normally order from here and get an above average meal that caters to the whole family but today I ordered a pizza and the base was raw. I complained and they said they would remake one and once again the base was raw, the owner said he's being doing it for 23 years and never had a complaint. Im sorry but if you look at the photos that's not a cheese pull its the dough. If the dough is cooked you shouldn't be able to pull it like glue. I ended up getting my money but but id only go there for a kebab not a pizza
We had a very nice mixed meat feast form here a few days ago. Lovely dinner for two. Bit much if your on your own though! Be warned. Not bad for 14 bucks. Would go again if in the area.

Been a regular for 15 years. The lamb doner meat is just not the same anymore. It's dry and like paper. The chicken, though, is superb—definitely recommend that. The portion sizes are all over the place because they keep switching up the container/tray sizes—something's going downhill. They often mess up the orders. The salads are generally overloaded with onion. It's a shame, because I'm finding myself disappointed more and more often. I recently had a brilliant lamb doner at Echo's Kebab in Gravesend... it blew me away and really set a new standard for me...
Really good kebab in the Rochester side of the Medway. Real old school feel to it where you just ring them up, order, they deliver within half hour and you get a menu everytime. No need to Just Eat, Deliveroo or anything like that which I prefer. Not had their pizzas so can't comment on them. Their giant tray of kebab that has everything serves 4 ppl and is only £24, can't beat that for value for money. Kebab sauce is home made as well as it should be. Garlic sauce ain't great.
Never used this kabab before!, popped in quickly on my way to work today for a cheap dinner. Got a chicken wrap and OMG it taste bloody amazing! Very impressed! Service was great and they were quick! I got a small and it was big!! Large portions which no one can complain about!
