Used to be the BEST in Lucknow till almost decade ago. Had humble start, great quality and diverse variety of products. However, with time the quality has gone down significantly, though prices are still reasonable. The worst is arrogance of the owner and his staff. With so many outlets and a simple bakery having transformed into a brand name the downfall has started. Not all men can keep the art alive with head down in humbleness. This place too soon will go down with names left in history books of the city. Edit: Today morning i.e. 30.09.2024 at 8.50 am I bought soup sticks from Good Bakery, kaiserbagh. Upon opening it at home, family has seen its laden with fungus/mould. A new low in the chapter of Good Bakery. Please see the photo for yourself.

Horrible horrible experience. Good bakery’s quality and service has degraded to tatters. Got customised cake made for my daughter’s b’day. Delivery was scheduled at 6PM. After multiple follow ups it reached at 7:30. And name was wrong in the cake. Wrong as in not the spelling mistake but the name of another child. Ruined my kid’s b’day- felt like Ive thrown my money in the gutter. Never trusting them again. Feel sorry for the people who have built the image of this bakery working hard for yeara.

Writing this review in the hope of helping make society a better place. I needed 80 decent-quality crème buns for an event, and since Good Bakery is known as one of the best and most reliable places in Lucknow, it felt like a no-brainer — it had to be Good Bakery or nowhere else. I went to the store, placed the order, and received the delivery the next day, even earlier than expected. Everything seemed perfect… until I opened a box and found a live insect inside the packaging. It was disappointing to realize that there really isn’t a truly reliable place anymore. No matter how much extra you’re willing to pay to avoid compromising on quality, you still can’t be sure that things are prepared in a hygienic environment. I spoke with them — they were very apologetic and offered to replace the bun — but that’s not the point. I do have a video.

A Big bakery with lots of other stuff in their store like Juices, namkeen, Packed food, shampoo etc. Tried their Paneer Patty and Aloo Patty both are good in taste costing 20 & 15 Rs each. Place is neat & clean.

I went there after seeing the reviews. First thing, the opening time as per Google, is 9am but I went there at 9:45am..still the shop was barely open. We went for 1 cheese toast, 1 paneer roll and 2 donuts. 1 coffee and 1 milk shake. The coffee was really strong and great. The milk shake was delicious too. But all other items were from the day before..the glazed top of the donuts were hot but inside the donuts..the choco cream has gone sour. Same about the bread of the paneer roll - stale. The cheese toast, as it was heated tasted great. Another thing I would like to mention, they do not have a simple thing like a wash basin which is strange for such a great looking cafe.

I wish I could give 0 stars to this walnut bakery. Unfortunately, the cake I ordered was a letdown. The taste and design were completely different from what I had requested. Moreover, the cake had a strong artificial smell and flavor, which was unpleasant. The use of artificial colors was also noticeable. When I expressed my disappointment, the bakery's response was unhelpful and defensive, with no acknowledgment of their mistake. Due to the poor service, product mismatch, and questionable ingredients, I would not recommend this bakery to others. They have literally ruined my day.

Tired Cheese Cake Which was heavenly Tasty. They offer Cocktails too, They also Have hot food section and Sitting area for the crowd. I really Love This place. They Have Hand Made biscuits and Namkeens along with varies Well made Snacks along with wide range of Pastries. You can Pre order them if you need custom made Cakes. If i could i would have rated 0 stars. This place is totally useless, they only know how to charge high prices, i ordered a 1 kg cake costing 1750/ flavour black forest it was so bad even the after taste was worse which tasted like berries. Seriously? I ordered a customised cake which i was already getting in 1300/ from other baker but due to there quality i ordered it from walnut. Sadly it was worse. WON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Stopped by Garden Bakery for a quick coffee break, but it turned out to be a disappointing experience. The coffee lacked flavor and was far from satisfying. Must be using some ordinary coffee. I also tried their Nutella pastry, which was even more underwhelming – it didn’t taste like Nutella at all. Overall, just an average place and not worth expecting much from. Wouldn’t really recommend it for a good coffee or dessert stop.

The Vada Pav here is a winner—crispy outside, soft inside, and packed with flavor. But give the hot chocolate a miss; it tastes like a basic Cadbury mix and doesn’t do justice to the menu.

I have ordered snacks boxes from here. The packing of boxes were good and items packed in them were also fresh. Cutlets were a bit oily rest things are good. Bakery also offered delivery within a radius of 02-03 km. Some shortage of staff also noticed while placing order, the person with whom we were discussing for order is also busy in attending other customers order even he doesn't know the prices of all items, he repeatedly phone someone for asking rates of individual items. " A request from the owner of Backery is that, he has to take personal interest in taking bulk orders and delivery" this does not happen in my case. According to me everything should be perfect from placing order to delivery from such a renowned bakery as this did not happen in my case.

Trust me when i say this place very pretty but with very average food yet pricey. I had ordered 2 dishes a pasta and a pizza pasta was ok-ok and pizza was really bad. Drinks were also very mediocre. Waiting time was too much that we had to cancel one of our dish. Plus I had a very horrible experience with their desserts ordered some injecting tiramisu and it was disappointing, looks wise it was fine but it tasted very very very bad which completely ruined our overall experience.

I recently went there to catch up with my friends and my god that place is so cozy and comforting , they were really good with their ambiance and aesthetics , they also have outdoor sittings . We tried the pizza and it was really good and perfectly baked , their service was good and on top of that the staff was really calm , we were taking pictures here and there and roaming around the place for different angles and mind you they didn't even show us that pressuring eyes , overall I would say it's a really cozy and comforting sopt to just chill and have yummy food with your family and friends ✨💗

Everything was scrumptiou. Our server Mr. Santosh is a highly trained , skilled and a perfectionist. He know his customers. It's a request to serve more variety of vegetarian pastries. Avocado toast portion was small for two people.

I have been ordering from Buttercup Bungalow for almost a year now. I genuinely used to love their food — it was always fresh and tasty. But in the past 5–6 orders, my experience has been really disappointing, especially when ordering through Swiggy. Today again, my order took more than an hour to arrive even though the app showed 35 minutes. The delivery partner was standing at the restaurant for almost an hour because my order was not packed. Every time I called, I was told “just 5 more minutes,” but it kept getting delayed. When the food finally arrived, it was not what I had ordered. The sandwich was horrible — undercooked, filled with raw vegetables like cucumber, onion, and coleslaw (even though it wasn’t a coleslaw sandwich). The honey chili potato quantity was very small, and the food was cold and tasteless. This has been happening repeatedly. The food quality and quantity have gone down badly. I even leave notes on Swiggy and sometimes call the restaurant, but no one seems to pay attention. Even small requests like providing cutlery are ignored. I have no issue paying higher prices, but the food should at least be worth it. Earlier, I would have rated Buttercup Bungalow 4 out of 5, but now I honestly rate it 0 out of 5. I really hope the owner takes a look into what’s happening with the Swiggy orders — because the quality and service are nowhere near what they used to be.

A quite popular momos joint in gomti nagar and nearby areas. I have been to this place many a times however it never disappoints me. They serve veg , paneer and chicken options. Chicken momos are so juicy and blend with right amount of spices . It's full flavoured and nothing is over powered. Served with spicy chutney and a sauce. Overall the texture is perfect not so chewy or doughy. A highly recommended place for momos lovers.

It's just adjacent to Fosho restaurant. Roadside parking. Food quality is between average to good. Wet had tropical fruit pastry and Mango pastry with cold coffee. Tropical fruit pastry ways not fresh. MANGO Pastry just arrived infront of us. But it used mango essence and not really mango.

It was a good and cosy lunch at cherry tree cafe. We were served by Kulshum. She was very sweet and the waitress who took my order was very easy to talk to and polite. I didn't get a chance to ask her name but she had a real nice smile. So yeah I would surely recommend people to go there but keep in mind the timings. Sometimes the cafe is full and there's no place to sit but if you look into the time you'll surely enjoy your meal there. I don't know about the dinner timings but for lunch at 3-4 its real quite and cozy at the cafe. Lovef the visit will surely go there for dinner sometime. ☺️

The Penne all’Arrabbiata was pretty average and the quantity was too little for the price. Pizza was..well a little burnt and overcooked. It didn’t taste good at all! The inside seating area seems stuffed but the outer area was alright.

One of the oldest bakery and situated in the heart of the city this bakery is doing wonders in Lucknow. They have some really nice gift hampers and gift packs at really nominal rates. Also they serve some delicious bakery products. Tried their Garlic Bread & Chocolate Shake and both were upto the mark. Also they have varieties of breads, as well as varieties of juices which you can buy for your day to day life This bakery is a must visit for the quality of their services and hygiene. One drawback of this place is they don't have much seating space. Though you can get your food ordered in your car and enjoy the meal without any disturbances.

I have always been a fan of the wafer crust gujias sold here. Recently, I visited the bakery to order a cake for a party. The representative promptly attended to my request. The best part was that they perfectly customised the design of the cake to suit the occasion. The taste was delicious, the finish was near perfect, the pricing was competitive and the response from the guests was mmmmm... I would like to thank them for adding a little more beauty to my party. Mr Brown is always great.. A little expensive. But tasty..! 😋 It is relatively small bakery in terms of space.. One or two tables are there.

I recently experienced a unique blend of a cafe and designer clothing store at this place named *Mouth Wide Shut* . While the taste of the dishes was decent, the limited space was a drawback. The ambience was good, but improvements are needed. The designer clothes, albeit stunning, came with a hefty price tag. Overall, it's a promising place that could benefit from a friendlier owner and some culinary enhancements. Worth a visit for the aesthetic appeal, but room for improvement is evident.

First time we went had no issues, average cakes and food but good variety. Second time I ordered a large cake 2 tier for daughter's 4th b'day party. It was poorly packed and fell when getting out of the car. Owner was extremely rude about it and did not suggest anything to do except not to return to her shop again. Have never gone back since and won't again. Buttercup Bungalow is a much better atmosphere, variety and quality.

Every birthday at my home are celebrated by their cakes. There pastry had झींगुर/ Cricket in it and the bread was weeks old it tasted bad & smelled after opening the package. I ordered a takeaway of fucasio bread, Brownie and chocolate pastry. Was a frequent visitor there have had many other products of there's which were good enough to consume safely but after the झींगुर pastry I never visited this place again.

I had ordered half kg pineapple cake for Birthday celebration and to spoil all guest’s mood and our celebration - they had sent stale and different cake from my order. They sent completely different cake, flavour and design from the placed order with pathetic condition. When we ordered second time they had sent a smashed cake, literally smashed from all over. On a birthday celebration we were just waiting for the cake till 1:30 in the night and ended up only with disappointment. They have spoilt our celebration altogether. Really poor experience with Mr. Brown Magnum Plaza Gomti Nagar. Do check pictures to know the condition of their cakes during delivery, both cakes were not selected by us in our order but they sent because their marzi. Zero customer service and quality in food. Please refrain from this place.

The cleanliness and hygiene is upto the mark & the staff is quite generous. They have still maintained the quality of their products be it the Baklavas, cookies or anything else. Really love the the varieties of Baklavas that they have. Also their Power Seed Cookies is definitely a try. Loaded with dry fruits these cookies will surely drool you. Also I tried their Pizza which I found to be an okayish in taste. So that needs an Improvement. They also have baked Samosa, which is something new and I'm sure you will love it's taste. The sub from this place is definitely a try. Really loved it. This place with a lively Ambience, and also being the nearest to one of the biggest malls in Lucknow this place is definitely a try.

This Mr Brown bakery is on the upper ground floor of Eldeco Magnum Plaza on Lohia Path. The bakery is quite big and has good variety of bakery products including the cake, pastries, all kind of breads, cookies and biscuits. The staff is big and is responsive and friendly. They prepare products on order and one can customise their cakes and other bakery items.

I ordered Choco Tuffle Cake with extra dry fruits, extra choco chips which was just awwwkk with dry fruits for name sake. The person for whom I got this cake gave it to the garbage picker. Don't waste your hard earned money here. Never ever visit this shop. You have better options in city around like Mr. Brown, Good Bakery, Hazzlenut etc.. I wasted my money & time, you don't do that.

Fake Burma Butter biscuits, always go to hazratganj, chowk or mahanagar for real burma butter biscuits. Highly disappointed with myself for getting trapped.

If you think it's the legendary Burma Biscuit Company, it's not. They've just borrowed the name to fool gullible customers. The quality of their products is pathetic. I recently ordered 500 grams butter biscuits through Swiggy. It was so bad that saying that the taste was not good would be a compliment. They are dishonest also. The biscuits, including the box, weighed only 425 grams.

Apollo bakery is one of the oldest at shahnajaf road Hazratganj, offering amazing patiz and fast food, on weekdays and in school time it is crowded due to school traffic but else you will find a place to order you food easily.

Definitely good for a quick bite. They do have many options for a small bakery though. They even provide instant noodles, burgers etc. right out of the kitchen.

Not happy with the veg kabab rolls, you should name is as aaloo paratha instead as there was no kabab only stuffed patato !

I have tried Good Bakery, JJ Bakers, Mr. Brown, Cherry Tree, and many others but none could beat C&B esp. in terms of freshness and price. From snacks to cakes and just everything they provide is great quality and delicious. The pizzas they bake are very affordable yet delicious -- ofcource Pizza Hut and Dominos offer best pizzas, but if you're on a budget, try their's and you won't get disappointed. One if the better shops for occasion based cakes in Lucknow and best in Indira Nagar area. Their service is prompt and they keep room to accommodate any additional request later on. We ordered a 4.5 kg cake which was delivered in 1 day and to the specifications we had asked for. Taste is possibly one area they can work on, it's not bad but not exceptional either.

Cakes and pastries over here are really fresh, quality being really good. Snacks are better than pastry items. I would give ratings as follows : Snacks : 5 Cakes: 4 Biscuits, breads etc : 3 Mexican roll and cheese croissant is a must try. The have really worked on improving the quality of cakes and snacks. Recent add ons includes masala fried idli, dhokla,soya chaap, baked semolina pasta. These all items are highly recommended.

I really love this place they always amaze me with there food and the specials occasions menu amazing service food everything even they launch there valentines special pictures chocolates.

Four stars for ambiance and Zero for food. Atmosphere was pretty cool but the food and the service were not good at all. Cheesy fries did not appear fresh and were cold, hot chocolate wasn’t good either. Staff seemed least interested in the feedback given and had to be called several times for even a small service request.

In times when Radhey Lal and Madhurima were raided during covid for adulteration (see local news). When nearby Sharma Chai makes excellent Samosas but overpriced laddus(rs 20 no ghee) and Ram Asrey may not be good enough all the time, this place has the best sweets in ghee. You cannot go to Kabar Wali Mithai at Aminabad all the time. Located at a quiet location, with very tasty stock, it's the place I go to for expensive ghee mithai when elders give me money. The staff is helpful. UPI accepted. Amritsar Besan Chole Kulche Thela nearby if you are hungry and with less money.

Our go to shop for cakes needs. This shop have been here for sometime now and their cakes are really yum with rates being competitive. They also have Chinese items, Pasta, Maggi and Momos. Have tried most of their items, and love their white sauce pasta. Also, paneer momos are also good. They also have all the bakery items. Preferable option is take away as seating option is in the basement which is not great.

Since the place is made in basement you may feel stuffiness because of no ventilation and natural air. A bit of humidity is also experienced if the AC is not working in a proper condition. Take away items are available for the customers which are affordable and for a small place like it.

Yesterday on the occasion of holika dehan and aikadshi we visited cherry tree bakery krishna nagar branch , they served us with chicken sandwiches instead Pesto paneer panini . We are vegetarians and they played with our trust and provided us with something we haven't ever had .Cherry tree being renowned cafe and we being a regular customer was least expected to have done this. When the higher authorities are being approached they were mum and said sorry , a sorry doesn't fix it all and it has no value to somebody who has been served with a non- vegetarian meal being a total vegetarian and that too on a auspicious day of holika dehan and aikadishi. Their services has been downgraded . The staff isn't attentive and compatible. They have not only lost their regular customer but that cafe lies in the shadow of distrust . would not visit cherry tree bakery and cafe ever again . Worst experience ever had at any place. Will tell my family & friends not to visit this branch ever again. I will not stop here and will file a complain in consumer forum , All thanks to you for ruining our mood on festival. This is biggest turn off I've ever had . I really want to give negative rating to this cafe who plays with customer emotions. I'm attaching the photos of yesterday experience.

I honestly think that this is an overhyped place. They offer average food, with stellar prices. If one wants to hang out at a quiet place, then you might want to go here but otherwise I wouldn't suggest this place. The burrito was average, cold and a little undone for my liking. Fries were also average. I did not like the constant glares of the staff , which made me extremely uncomfortable. Overall, my experience was not so great so I won't be suggesting this place to anyone.

But spending it on this so-called coffee? Complete disaster.

I had one aaloo cheese burger worth ₹65 . The food quality was very poor and the burger seemed stale. I am a frequent visitor and i didn't expected this. 65 for a burger is firstly too high and the quality was very poor. I politely ask for the compensation as i said i am a frequent visitor.

Good bakery with good service. Prices are also reasonable. You can buy all the stuff for your small parties. Cakes are fresh with wonderful presentation. Location of the bakery is also very good. Easily reachable. From my side it is strongly recommended.

In food i will recommend paneer tikka sandwich and their thin crust pizzas. Their pasta and croquettes are also tasty. In shakes their berry blast and brownie shake is a must have. I’m honestly speechless. This was one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had — and I don’t say that lightly. The desserts were a complete disaster (barely 2/10), the footlongs — except the paneer tikka — were absolutely disappointing (1.8/10 at best), and the muffins were shockingly below average. But the biggest letdown? The baklava. It tasted like a bad joke — a 1/10 is generous. For a bill of ₹720, this was absolutely NOT worth the money. I genuinely feel robbed of both my money and my appetite. Please rethink your recipes, quality checks, and overall taste standards. This was not just bad, it was unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.
