A great food hall with tons of vendors and a huge variety of options! My partner and I split up to order, each finding something we loved quickly and managing to snag a table during a busy Thursday night. Great for meet ups and nights when you don’t want to cook in!

We went here on a Friday around 4pm and it wasn‘t too crowded. We walked around for a good ten minutes just enjoying the atmosphere and looking at all the different food options. I got a poke bowl with vegan salmon which tasted okay and was a little too small for my liking, but the real star of the show were my friend‘s fries which came at a great price and tasted amazing. The portion was huge too, so it was enough to share :) We also tried the cannolis and those were great too.

The food court was okay in the sense that there are many options to choose from. The deep fried fish was quite delicious but the calamari was not. Portion size was small. The lemonade we got from one of the bars there was very fresh and tasty.

So delicious and a great welcome scene for any traveller! All the food was the best I've had so far on my trip 😋 I got an Indian wrap €13 2x ciders €10 4x mini tartes from Petit gateau + 1 chocolate cookie - €20 The live music was great and chatting to locals was great too 👌🏽

A well designed food market with delicious foods and variety of different dishes. The prices are quite high for fully self service, e.g. 8€ for a simple Heineken beer from draft. The sweets (cupcakes) are highly recommended.

We visited over the weekend and there was a DJ playing viral music—it was a really fun atmosphere. Everything is super clean and well-organized. The food selection is excellent, and there’s truly something for everyone. My recommendation is to try one dish from several different stands so you can taste more, because everything is absolutely delicious!

A perfect spot for casual and fun dining. There’s a great variety of options, though I find the food a bit pricey for a “plaza” setting. As for the atmosphere, I would improve the quality of the chairs (they’re uncomfortable) and the acoustics, as it can get quite noisy.

It's a cosy place, but it's very tiny, which makes it a bit awkward, because it's hard to fit at the tables, you have to keep an eye on someone passing by. While we were there, at least 50 people were turned away because they couldn't sit down because the place was full. We waited a very long time for our food, it took 1 hour from ordering to getting it, one portion was already cold, the other was warm because I asked for melted cheese on top. Otherwise it was delicious. But the service staff is impeccable, the guy who is there is really good, he was nice to everyone, smiled, friendly service, so hats off to him!

It is what it says on the tin.. A jacket potato! Great filling meal. I had the stew on a full jacket and it filled the hunger after walking round. Small quaint place, slow service to begin with but there was only 2 members of staff here at the lunchtime service. Whilst the food was lovely, not sure if €40 for 2 potatos and 2 drinks is a bit much.

Enormous potato! So delicious! I think this may be the best potato dish I have ever eaten. Menu allows you to choose your own favourite set of fillings, toppings and sauces. There are meat, fish and vegetarian options. Few tables are outside near the canal so you have a beautiful view if you sit there. Inside you can also found safe lockers where you can charge your phone! Nicely done. I honestly can recommend this place. I will come back there if I have a chance!

These jacket potatoes were divine. I highly recommend the chili con carne filling, it was absolutely delicious. The portions are quite big and the staff is very helpful.

Incredibly tasty potatoes at a nice price. The portions are large. The restaurant seems small, but there are still places below and on the street. In the evening, the cafe hype. Very busy. Most likely this is due to the very close location to the central station and affordable price. The potato is very large, the dishes are decorated beautifully, seasoned with grass and cheese. There are different variations. You can collect the ingredients yourself, but you can choose a ready-made combination with meat, fish or vegetables. Light beer is tasty and at a price like everywhere else 5 euros. On average, for two you can meet 20 euros without algokogol. We have very sensitive stomachs and this restaurant has shown high quality food. Friendly staff are also here. Of the minuses - sticky tables, I do not know why. Clean but sticky. If the weather is nice, then it’s better to sit outside, here the tables are good. The toilets are very clean. I will be back here every time I am in Amsterdam. thank

The good is just wow, the best potato I’ve ever had. Well recommended. One thing to point out - is service, the staff didn’t care much about us, they were passing by us several times with no attention to our side, I was quite upset, to order the food we needed to go to the cash to approach staff to take our order. But we were happy with the food in the end. The prices are reasonable.

A very awesome restaurant! I was recommended this place and am so very glad I came here. The interior is quite nice and comfy and very clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and great with quick service. The portions are very generous and the quality is top notch. Some may see it a little more pricey for their taste but the service and quality and portions more than deserve the price. It was a real treat to visit here with friends and I guarantee I will visit here every time I visit this wonderful City.

I tried both of their chicken and beef rolls with extra pickle and extra chilli. I can still feel the taste and I crave for those every day. I loved it. At peak time there is queue so you may need to wait but the wait was worth.

This place has great rating and reasonable pricing. We stopped by during the afternoon to check out the place. There were quite a few people in line and some of them were returning for the 2nd time as the food was so good. That sealed it for us, as we were searching for our dinner location for the day. We ordered the Aubergine and Labneh (vegetarian) and Lamb Tarator Manousheh’s both were awesome. Fresh made bread followed with fresh ingredients. Really worth the wait. Would definitely come back and highly recommend the place for good bight.

I went today after looking for Lebanese food in Amsterdam and i also wanted something that is not heavy and would make me feel full at the same time and actually I was a little bit unsure how “lebanese” it would really taste like. I can easily say that it was perfect! The taste is so good the bread is fresh, the zaatar is so perfect with the Halumi i highly suggest! People there are nice too!

I have to round this one up to a 5. I got the lamb, but next time I would probably do the beef. I got the sourdough wrap and added pickles. The lamb for me was a 4, but I just chose wrong for me so I know I would have liked the beef. Too many nuts in the lamb for my taste. Location is very small, but not abnormal for Amsterdam.

I went to THE LEBANESE SATERIA and tried everything. For me, the best were the eggplant manakish with labneh and the spicy meat with labneh and the spicy cheese —they were absolutely amazing! The staff were extremely friendly, making you want to come back again and again.

I have never eaten this type of food in my life. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. Highly recommend checking it out.

We went there really spontaneous for dinner and were happy that they still had a table for us. The restaurant is really cute and it has nice seating space outside (many people walk through it, a bit annoying). The menu offered many vegan options which was really nice! The ramen were okay but nothing special (the noodles were fine but the tofu didnt taste really fresh). All in all it was quiet okay and the prices were reasonable.

Small place for a quick ramen, there seems to be always queue but goes quite fast. Plenty of vegan option, gyoza were great! Ramen was tasty, will go again to try the non spicy version

The vegetarian ramen was very tasty, though not the best I've tried in Amsterdam. Price-wise I was happy to see that there are more affordable options in the menu. The service was lovely, no comment on that. Overall certainly recommend coming here if you're in the area craving good ramen.

It’s nothing super special, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to my friends and definitely not wait hours in a que for it. The ramen, chicken, and broth were good, but I felt like the toppings were quite blank. It could’ve used some spring onion or some more veggies in general. I really enjoyed the side dish miso glazed eggplant though, however for 8,50 the portion was super small. The girl serving us was not smiling or friendly. Just did her job. So yeah, if you really want a quick and easy ramen it’s allright, but don’t expect fireworks ;)

Delicious ramen, quick and friendly service. Good for 1-2 maybe 4 people but no more. Located on a busy corner, easy to get to from public transport. Open kitchen concept, €18 for the large ramen.

My friends and I were making our way to another ramen place (but realized it was closed that day) when we stumbled upon this gem. We were a table of three—two of which are vegetarian. They had great vegan/vegetarian options. Will order the lemon ginger ramen next time. 5 stars!

Me and my partner had food here a while ago and though it was good we felt very sick shortly after. I believe there would have been something wrong with the started dish that we shared as we both felt like we got food poisoning afterwards. It is a shame that this happened but I don’t think it was handled well by the restaurant managers sadly. Over the phone we were told to send a dm or write an email, and even though I did both I never got a response. This makes me feel like we were not taken serious, and though we were told over the phone we would get a refund for the meal this never happened. Definitely a shame as this was a cute spot!

Food is really delicious! however portion is very small. Me and my friend were still quite hungry after finishing our plates. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. Staff is very friendly.

Some of the best pasta I have ever enjoyed. We arrived around 8pm on a Sunday and got a table for 2 within minutes of arriving - and it was very busy. We had wine recommendations and the waiter read the entire menu to us in English which was tremendous. Lovely experience, great atmosphere.

The place it's really nice, good atmosphere, a little bit crowded, but I believe that a restaurant with good food will always be full of clients enjoying their food. The staff was friendly, they recommended me a good dry white wine for my spaghetti. You will find only 4 or 5 types of pasta and 1 desert. I ordered the spaghetti with sea fruits. They were so good, tasty and so well done. For sure I will get back to this place, it was a pleasure to enjoy a dinner here.

Love this place. Delicious pasta with seasonal options, one of the best tiramisu I’ve ever tried in my life. Also drink selection is impressive. The only thing I don’t like is that you want to order more to try but can’t stop and end up really full 😂 So be careful with that because portions are really big

Looks like a local fast food chain, I’ve tried the cheese burger and a vanilla milkshake, they were ok. I’ve tired this beef kroketten, I didn’t like it much. Funny story, this big bird was standing in front of the door and just kept looking at the restaurant. I’ve asked the worker here and he said this bird comes here everyday for food.

Great concept, you just tap your card and press on a button to get the food you want. Just keep in mind that they only accept card. The food and prices are okay. Really messy store during the nights and it litters down the whole neighbourhood.

12 euro for a tiny burger and chips the chips were good but the burger bun was old and the patty was tiny no indoor seating and the outdoor seating is full of crows

Good food everything was good . My mother in law and son got the ribs looked good. I got the Dutch dish not bad kind of a mash potatoes and meatloaf type deal still good. The kids loved the spaghetti and wife enjoyed the chicken skewers. Definitely come back again

Visiting Café Sonneveld was a real treat! The pork ribs were phenomenal—tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with a rich, smoky flavor that just melted in my mouth. Every bite was a delight, and it’s clear the kitchen takes pride in its dishes. The service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The café itself has a warm, cozy atmosphere, with a casual yet charming vibe that makes it ideal for both a relaxed lunch or a hearty dinner. Watching the staff interact with other guests, you can tell it’s a place where people enjoy working and genuinely care about the dining experience.

They had authentic Dutch cuisine in the Jordaan district. It was very good. Service was okay. We had a lovely view table. I enjoyed the Dutch stampot and my husband had the ribs. Delicious and filling.

Great little place right on a canal. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff was polite and helpful when chosing drinks or food. Know for their stampot and spare ribs, I had the stampot and bitterballen which both were fantastic. Inside is really cool and outside is beautiful quite little street. A very popular spot in Amsterdam. They have a nice original system where you sit outside and can order snacks and drinks whilst you wait for a table to order from menu. Located on the outer Amsterdam you avoid all the hassling. The restaurant has a lovely theme of 1000s of framed photos of mothers and children. A lovely atmosphere. Food was good, service great and food nice. Price as expected. Worth a visit.

Moeders is a very famous restaurant in Amsterdam — it’s one of the go-to spots for traditional Dutch food. If you want to experience authentic Dutch home-style dishes, this is definitely the place to try. Be sure to make a reservation, as it’s popular with both locals and tourists and fills up quickly. We tried the pea soup, ribs, and beef stew — all were decent. The white asparagus soup, however, had a sour asparagus flavor that I couldn’t quite figure out. Overall, Moeders serves comforting, home-style food rather than refined Western cuisine, so if you’re looking for something fancy, this might not be it. The dishes and bowls also look quite well-used — you can really feel the restaurant’s history 😂.

If I could, I’d give 10/5! An amazing concept restaurant with delicious Dutch cuisine. You should definitely try the “Dutch rice dish” the portion is generous, and the beef with its sauce… I don’t even have enough words to describe it, you just have to try it! I came to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. They offered us a dessert and a shot of Dutch liquor while singing Happy Birthday. I actually don’t know how to rate it, I know it’s more traditional Dutch food, which means I should know what I’m getting. But still, I have to say the quality of the dishes are not the best. The “lobster” soup was very very salty (I use “” because it’s shrimp). And the vegetarian Stampot was alright, but it’s nearly first time for me to not to finish my plate, not because of the portion, just pretty… boring. Anyway, we were there to see the interior and just to experience, so I guess food is less the point. Right, the slot for reservation is 1.5h, but because the main course was served very late, we didn’t have time for desert.

Service was incredibly great, people are really friendly, pleasantries and jokes were exchanged between us and the staff. Food was amazing too, highly recommended the lobster soup and bitterballen!!! We also ordered the Rijstafel but given that my friend and I were both not big eaters, we couldn’t finish it at all. Love the meat stew in the Rijstafel set and also the grilled potatoes were yummy. Highly recommended this place :)

The ambiance and location of the restaurant is so good. We ordered 5 Dutch Ricedishes. I think there was a lot of variety of potato in it so it was not so fantastic, you need to be aware of it. Tastes of the meaty foods were so great. We went there without reservation but in the crowded days it might be problem.

Moeder’s is the definition of a true Dutch dining experience… cozy, warm, and full of character. We decided to let the staff choose our dishes, and honestly, they nailed it. We started with the green pea soup, which was way better than I expected. It was hearty, savory, and had this subtle smoky flavor that made it feel like comfort in a bowl. For the main course, we got the Hollandse Rijsttafel (Dutch rice dish), which came with all the traditional classics. The portions were generous, easily enough for two people. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, the potatoes perfectly cooked, and surprisingly, the applesauce stole the show for me. It wasn’t overly sweet and somehow tied all the other flavors together perfectly. The atmosphere is charming and intimate, with tables placed close enough that it almost feels like a big family gathering in the best way. If you’re looking for a spot to experience authentic Dutch comfort food, Moeder’s is absolutely worth it.

As a huge omelette fan, most of my omelette encounters have been at hotel breakfast buffets — decent, but nothing to write home about. So when I heard about Omelegg, a restaurant entirely dedicated to omelettes, my curiosity was instantly piqued. Let me just say… coming here was one of the best dining decisions I’ve ever made. I ordered the “Farm Boy”, and wow — it lives up to its name. Perfectly cooked, fluffy, and generously packed with all sorts of goodness — bacon, veggies, and more. The portion was massive, easily enough for two people. But since I arrived hungry and ready, I devoured the whole thing without hesitation. The place was fully packed when I arrived at 2.30pm, so I had to wait across the street on a tiny lane, surrounded by curious passers-by wondering why I was standing there. Thankfully, the wait was only about 20 minutes, and as soon as a table opened up, I was warmly welcomed inside. Omelegg serves omelettes all day from 7am-4pm Mon-Fri, and 8am-4pm Sat and Sun, so you can enjoy these incredible dishes from morning until mid-afternoon. I spent about half an hour here, and every minute was worth it. Omelegg isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a full experience. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip to Amsterdam.

Amazing breakfast spot in Amsterdam! The omelettes are creative and delicious, with plenty of choices. I had to wait around 30 minutes for a table, but it was definitely worth it. Quick service once seated and very friendly staff. A perfect place to start the day — highly recommended!

Great eggs restaurant with a lot of variety. We ordered the greek wedding and it was fine and the salmon deluxe and it was delicious and the baked potatoes which was a bit tasteless. The service was quick and the line outside was packed but only took us 20 mins to get a table. The atmosphere is like your typical morning breakfast restaurants where it is fast paced and seated in tiny tables that are right next to each other where you can hear the fun conversations people are having.

Came here on my birthday for breakfast and found the experience to be decent, though I thought the food was overpriced, and in my opinion, undercooked. The inside of the omelette, when cut open, was incredibly runny. I’ve seen French and Japanese style omelettes cooked this way, but honestly it gave me such a bad stomach ache and texture-wise really put me off. I wish they gave you an option for how cooked you want the eggs. I had the Popeye with jalapeños. Service was good and quick. Highlight of the meal was definitely the bread on the side - softest bread I’ve had in my 5 years living in Amsterdam!! The servers wouldn’t tell me where they bought it from though - trade secrets I suppose. Bread and team were great, eggs less so.

The place is very cute and cozy, thanks to some luck we didn't have to wait to sit. We ordered and after some minutes everything was ready, very fast! The food was really good, especially my scrambo royale, also the apple juice was really liked. The only bad thing is that they didn't let us split the bill so one of us had to pay for everything, i don't know why :(

Great selection of eggs for every taste and whim. Either build your own from the ingredients listed or get one of their house specials. Everything we has was fantastic. The coffee is good too. Please note that the place is tiny and you might have to wait.

Frites were pretty salty. Looks like the frites weren't sufficiently mixed. The crunchiness was good. They top your fries with onions on ask. A small shop corner without much personality.

My friend always insists that I come to this particular chip shop, he really likes it and always recommends it. I think the chips and sauces are very high quality, but a bit far away from the station of the Amsterdam Central. But if is your first time in Amsterdam it's really recommend , but after you visit once you can find allot of french fries on the way nearest to the Amsterdam Central Station.

The fries are crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, freshly made right in front of you — pure comfort food heaven 😍 I tried them with the Hannibal sweet onion sauce, and OMG… that mix of creamy, tangy, slightly spicy onion flavor is next-level 🤤🔥 Totally addicting! The portion was generous, service super quick, and the whole vibe is that old-school Amsterdam street-food charm.

In Turkish, we call this "Eh işte" which means "OK, so what?" :) This is a traditional and unique experience. If you are in Amsterdam, you should try it. However, if I come back, I won't want to eat again. In my opinion, good restaurants in Amsterdam also have good fries :)

Even though Vleminckx is a super popular spot with a line full of tourists, the service was genuinely great. Both the woman at the counter and the guy making the fries were really fun and friendly. They made the wait totally worth it! I asked for a recommendation, and they suggested the traditional Dutch style with mayonnaise, peanut sauce, and chopped onions. It was so good: rich, flavorful, and definitely one of the highlights of my food experiences in Amsterdam. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the city. It’s 100% worth it!

The line moved pretty fast! I got the traditional Dutch style sauce with mayonnaise, peanut butter, and onion. Surprisingly, onion added a lot of freshness to the taste. Be sure to bring a wet napkin with you since your hang might get pretty messy eating it.

Some of the best fries that I have had in my life! Freshly made and crispy until the end. 🤤 Huge collection of sauces to choose from. We had the samurai sauce and it was the perfect blend of spicy and creamy with the crispy fries :)

Open early on Sundays- worth getting up for! Excellent varied menu. We had florentine and BR special. Both very well executed. Super garlicky spinach and yummy think bread. Friendly efficient service.

Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. The dishes lacked flavor, presentation, and overall quality — which was very unexpected. The bread was cut too thick and had no taste, it wasn’t toasted or spread with butter. Adding simple touches such as garlic butter, cheese sauce, or other flavor elements could make a big difference. All three dishes we ordered were completely bland. These days, it’s easy to find inspiration online for improving flavor and presentation, and I believe there is definitely room for improvement.

We had a tasty brunch here on a Sunday morning. My only wish was that the wait list system worked because I tried to join the wait list as we were walking there and it wasn't working... Of course we arrived and the place was full so we could only add ourselves once we got there. This meant that we could only get bar seats which was a bit tight for space. Aside from the seating situation the food itself was great. We got the Navajo Eggs and the Huevos Rancheros. Both were delicious and had a good balance of fresh ingredients with savoury elements.

Great breakfast and healthy options 🌸 We got early breakfast here. We ordered the B&R breakfast with side eggs and avocado with coffee and matcha. Everything is delicious and fresh, especially the pancakes. The portion sizes are good. Coffee and matcha latte was also good. Quick and friendly service. Highly reccomend and would visit again =)

I ordered the B&R Special with extra avocado instead of bacon. The eggs and bread were delicious, and the butter elevated the whole dish. The orange juice was fresh, but the pancakes were underwhelming compared to the rest. Nice atmosphere and excellent service, overall, a solid 5 stars despite the pancakes.

Gem of a restaurant in Amsterdam. It is located in the flower market which makes it even more pleasant. The food, service, and atmosphere were wonderful. The service stood out for their attentiveness and warmth. The food was flavorful and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. As a tea drinker, this was one of the best tea experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. They brought a selection of loose leaf teas for me to choose from and place in my kettle.

I’ve never had Indonesian food before so the BATARA RICE TABLE or Two Course meal was absolutely perfect. I didn’t realize that we didn’t pick what we wanted, but rather it is a tasting of so many amazing dishes. The portions were very generous and the food was incredibly tasty. The staff are kind, I was seated without a reservation! But I’d probably suggest making reservations before coming. It got very busy on a Thursday night. They have outdoor seating, but it’s limited. The restaurant itself is a bit of a tight squeeze too, but not uncomfortable.

This restaurant is the perfect choice when you've had European food for days and your Indonesian taste buds crave something local. So, I dropped by here. I tried the gado-gado and it was a great choice. It met my expectations and satisfied my longing for Indonesian cuisine. The staff were also very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who miss Indonesian food or want to try it. A perfect stop to have lunch after exploring the city. In front of the restaurant is also a perfect place to enjoy the flower market.

The food is the highlight, but we were able to sit outside and just watch humanity go about their lives, variously walk or market shopping and other activity in the busy central area. We got there just as it opened, so the service and seating and just about everything was handled by one person alone (how did she manage! ), but we loved it. Almost all the other Indonesian restaurants were either on holiday or closed the days we were in Amsterdam, so I'm glad we were able to get our Indonesian food in, on our touristy things-to-do list. Love the food, can't go wrong with any menu item. We had chicken broth and a lamb and both were great!

Loved the service and experience here! First time we tried Rice Table and it was a really lovely adventure guided by attentive service. Its crowded inside, we were very lucky to be 2 people at a table for 4 plenty of room. We made reservations months ago so perhaps that helped?

Absolutely fabulous food. So authentic ... The did not hold back on the flavour or spice. 🫶🏻 (Might not work for the white people taste buds though) Definitely the best Indonesian food I've eaten anywhere in the West.

I was really looking forward to trying Sampurna after it was recommended to me, especially as I’ve been missing the flavours of Indonesia. The food overall was decent — some dishes were genuinely enjoyable, while others fell flat and were fairly forgettable. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t blow me away either. What let the experience down more was the atmosphere and service. The staff didn’t come across as particularly friendly or welcoming. The person who I assume was the owner looked us up and down when we arrived and silently pointed us to our table — not exactly the warm hospitality I remember so fondly from Indonesia. Unfortunately, the worst part came at the end of the evening, when I spotted a mouse scurrying across the floor. I flagged it to the waiter, who looked at it, shrugged, and casually said, “What do you expect in Amsterdam?” before walking away. I found that response genuinely shocking. Regardless of the city, I do expect a restaurant to maintain proper hygiene and pest control — especially when food and customer safety are at stake. Overall, I left feeling disappointed. There’s potential here, but between the uneven food, cold service, and serious hygiene issue, I can’t say I’d return.

The food is delicious, they cook it from veggies collected in the garden. Quality is great! I liked they cook quite fast and there are enough of vegetarian dishes in the menu. They have only a few tables so it’s better to book in advance. Grapefruit and orange juice is tasty!

It's a quaint family run business. Reserve well in advance they don't have too many tables and get reserved well in advance. We got the French toast, eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs. Everything tasted very well made and delicious.

Excellent little spot, had the French toast and my only regret is that the bread was so small. Absolutely phenomenal. This is a very small spot, best for 2 people, there is a table on the 2nd floor that fits 4 but I would recommend making a reservation if you want to bring that many people.

In terms of taste, it was decent and straightforward. However, we did find a hair in the momo, which was disappointing. The staff handled it well, they apologized and offered to remake the dish right away. While we appreciated the quick response, it’s the kind of issue that ideally shouldn’t happen.

It was my first time trying Nepalese cuisine, and it was truly a wonderful experience! Every dish we ordered had a unique flavor each one told its own story. We had noodles, dumplings with sauce, rice, and salad everything was delicious. Special thanks to Tikka who took great care of us and gave amazing recommendations and many thanks to san he was so nice If you’re ever in Amsterdam, I highly recommend trying this place. It was a beautiful and different experience!

The food was good, it had a very authentic Nepali taste. They were very welcoming, polite, fun and managed to find a cozy table for us even though the place was very full. We had a very nice time there. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars for food is I compared it with food in Nepal. It is almost a 5 star though.

Expensive place for its kind of restaurant. Dumplings tasted authentic, noodles also tasted good but can be better. Portion sizes are okay. Overall we liked food, but too pricy and due to open kitchen sometimes you may or may not like the noise and smells.

They offer wood-oven Italian pizza that was very delicious and flavorful. The kitchen is across from the restaurant and also handles takeout orders. Since the restaurant was fully booked, we ordered from the kitchen side. Fortunately, they had a beautiful table where we could enjoy our pizza fresh out of the oven! It's a pizzeria a bit above average for Amsterdam. The prices are also a bit higher. It's comprised of two shops facing each other: a bakery on one side and a restaurant on the other. The pizzas are for one and a half people, but if you're not too hungry, they'll serve two.

Great pizzas! Atmosphere was on point, good relaxing music to set the mood, the pizzas had a great under carriage with a thin but very tasty crust. Not too much and not too little toppings aswell, just perfect. Customer service was also pretty good. Would recommend

I went to this place following ChatGPT advice while in Amsterdam and it didn’t disappoint. The pizza and tiramisu both hit the spot and were super delicious. The pizza crust and flavor were delish! Highly recommended when visiting Amsterdam and it’s located in a super cozy, beautiful, and not so touristic neighborhood.

Came here for a nice comforting warm bowl of ramen after a cool and rainy day in Amsterdam. We were able to be seated with no reservations on a Monday evening. It felt a bit pricey but the ramen was tasty!

I was here 8 years ago and it tasted as good as i remember. I did not see much worn stuff so they do their maintenance. Bonus points for saving my umbrella. I left it at my seat and was able to retrieve it later that day. TY!

The worst ramen ever. I don't know why it got many good reviews ???? One bite and I almost threw up!!! I ordered kimchi ramen whose taste is aweful and the chicken charsiu is not charsiu, it's simply plain slice of boiled chicken. The smell is disgusting.

Update 2024. We came back to Amsterdam and ate here again. Twice during the same day! Everything was delicious and fresh. We tried 5 different things. Smoked salmon was amazing, tender. Fried cod was delicious too. We will come back next trip as well. It’s our tradition now. Please support this small business ☺️ 2023. Delicious and fresh. We tied herring sandwich, smoked eel, crab salad, fried cod, everything was super tasty! Totally will eat here again next time I’m in Amsterdam! Some people complain that cod fish is microwaved, but it is freshly cooked the same day (big amount), it’s very tender. The owner is friendly and kind. There are only 2 tables inside , but people come and go, there’s always a chance to sit and enjoy your snack ☺️

Small cosy diner serving local home cooked Dutch dishes. Loved the fork tender chunky beef stew accompanied by fluffy boiled potatoes. Pairs well with a glass of port or sherry. Chicken noodle soup was nice and homely. Viennese schnitzel thinly breaded and the pork meat enclosed within was thick/ firm to the bite.

Really great restaurant serving Dutch food. I tried the Amsterdam chicken which is like a roast chicken but brewed in a dark beer and it was so tender and juicy. The boiled potatoes and vegetable sides were also really good. The standout to me was their local liqueur. They had it in many flavours but I was curious to try the rose one and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly.

The food and coffee is average. There is no queue. The 2 woman staff were sarcastic when i ask what i can eat it with. A simple question as being a stranger here i thot i will like to eat with sardines.. i want to explain that locals loves their herrings and again rebutted me with attitude that the fishes are not the same. The main menu had no prices. To a customer it is good to be knowledgeable but not sarcastically . I just want to eat their croquettes with fish not education on fish OMG.. these staffs should go for customer service training and also thanks for reminding that i can eat with my hands and mouth in front of other customers.

Went here because this place was all over tiktok, the influencers were insisting that this place look unassuming but is delicious. I can’t agree, I am not sure what’s worse the service or food. I kept getting ignored by the servers, I would stand right in front of them and try to speak to them but they prioritized joking with each other or other customers that came later than me. Not sure if it’s because I’m a tourist. We tried different food from their menu, I honestly did not like any of it. The buns were promised to be so light and airy, but they taste like regular american store-bought buns. Meat is also very mid, lowkey looks like slop.

Here you can try the most traditional breakfast options in Amsterdam as the shop is one of the oldest in town and keeps sticking to old recipes. I would definitely revisit this place for the crickets to die for. It’s not so cheap place as we paid 40€ for 4 items and a coffee. But I honestly believe that it was worth the experience.

Went for the carousel gimmick, but the pancakes were actually really nice. The kitchen is visible from the dining area and it was fun to watch all the pancakes being prepared through the carousel. The food was generously topped and tasted great. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Plenty of room for lunch on a Tuesday with no wait. Would recommend.

We go here for the Poffertjes every time we visit Amsterdam and it never disappoints. Each order comes with 20 Poffertjes and we always order two and grab a table facing the middle for the full experience. It’s SO good!

This place is so cute and the Poffertjes were delicious! The fact that it’s in an old carousel is very charming. Though, there are definitely lots of kids running around screaming, it’s still a good time.

We had the traditional Dutch pancakes, with banana and Nutella, which were incredible. The service was fast and courteous. The atmosphere was beautiful because we sat outside in a park-like setting, and it was a beautiful day outside. I would highly recommend eating here and can't wait to return.

I really love this place! Normally I’m not that much into breakfast or brunch, but Mortimer actually made me enjoy it haha. I’ve been here countless times, so I’m sharing some photos from different visits. You can feel the love in almost every dish !! the attention to detail is clear. And if you find the menu a little overpriced, trust me, the quality makes it worth it! The service isn’t always super focused, but that’s probably because it’s usually busy. Still, I’ll definitely keep coming back, and I highly recommend it!

Popular place for a brunch. I was lucky enough to find a spot. Usually you must wait a long queue. The brunch/breakfast menu is extensive, with many options to choose from. We ordered the Mortimer's eggs, and they were delicious. The house salsa is tasty. The coffee is good. A delightful place for brunch, although the establishment is very small.

Nice place, obviously popular. The girls behind the bar are very friendly. The breakfasts look nice and taste quite good. I had the Turkish eggs and the next day I had a Caesar salad sandwich.

I was very excited to try the ‘English Breakfast’ from here, and was somewhat disappointed as there is truly nothing English about this breakfast. The bacon is American style (the kind you can snap like a twig) and sweet, the mushrooms are strangely seasoned and diced, and 20% of the plate is salad. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re expecting a proper fry-up. They should call it the Mortimer Breakfast instead of an English Breakfast. Staff were nice and attentive. Overall some expensive eggs.

Really good and filling English breakfast (loved the mushrooms, the crispy bacon and poached eggs). Only the double espresso was a bit wesk: I'm sure they have good beans, maybe some Settings of machine can be improved.. Prompt and attentive service, with a smile that definitely gives good vibes! Worth going back to try some other dish from the interesting menu!

Been to many brunch places around here and this place is absolutely the best!! The fresh organic ingredients they use make a huge difference in flavor. The “scrambled eggs,” “tomayto,” and pressed juices made my whole day :)

A pretty spacious bar for how narrow the entrance is. Looks like it's students' favourite gathering spot. Very noisy and boisterous pub. Decorated with plenty lights, the tiny back terrace looks beautiful, but what a pity, it's crowded by heavy smokers.

I visited this place at the end of September 2025 for a morning lunch. My aim were the hot chicken wings, and my order consisted of 1/2 kilo portion of chicken wings with the Louisiana-style hot sauce, potato wedges, and some strawberry juice (Looza). The juice was great! It's not like I just received juice, there was ice and slices of lime. My goodness, I haven't gotten so much attention to a drink in a while and at the price they serve it at, that is a 5+/5. Shame I can't give 6/5. About the wings, I am sorry to say this: they felt undercooked to me, and were also devoid of any crispiness that is so characteristic for hot wings. Also, they were served quite cold compared to the potato wedges. The dish was completely dominated by the sour smell and taste of the Louisiana-style hot sauce, whilst I preferred to also feel some taste of the juice from the wings once I got inside, which I couldn't get a slightest hint of. The sauce hotness seemed all right from what I read about it. My belly disagreed with this meal, due to what felt to me like under-prepared and relatively cold-served chicken. That is a 2/5 altogether for the wings. In terms of presentation, one of those paper packs was sticking to a wing (check the image), which was not a great first impression. Potato wedges were really hot in temperature. I've left them for after the wings, and they were still searing hot. I assume that is good. The seasoning was quite good on them, it must be quite a feat to make it stick so well. What I was missing, however, is moisture in those potatoes. They were quite dry and have felt like sand on the inside. My belly also disagreed with their dryness. That is a 2/5 altogether for the potatoes. In terms of presentation, this has a nice touch. I got potatoes in a newspaper-like wrap, with two sauces. The cost of those items was very much *all right*; fair for the quantity of the dishes. The exception was the juice, where the price was on the generous side. Very nice offer in terms of quantity for the price! This bright space, although relatively mid- to small-sized, has quite a vibe. The colors are bright, the walls are covered in musical album covers, and there is even a mirror ball on the ceiling! The music is on the mid-loud side, but it's possible to have a conversation. The atmosphere must be the selling point here, 5/5. The staff interactions were okay. I would say possibly a bit distant, but okay! 4/5 I would say the cleanliness of the place is around 4/5; I've noticed some dirt on the floor around my table, but overall it was fine. So, I can't judge the lunch based on the drink, so together with the fair price and the whole rest of the package it's about 3/5 for this place. The food alone would have been a clean 2/5 from me, it has a long way to go and I think it is the main thing to improve.

Chose this place to have a lunch for a group of four. We ordered some burgers and chose wedges as a side dish and some drinks. Food was good, yes(although the burgers consisted 50%of a bun) but when the check arrived we were unpleasantly shocked by the price. It turns out you have to pay for the fries separately. The menu is made in the way it’s not obvious at all, misleading you to believe you just choosing it as part of the dish. It is done deliberately. Also, one of toilet cabins had a broken door lock and the floor was sticky and it smelled.

The potato wedges was very flavorful and the quantity was good enough for the price. Quite close to centraal, making it a very convenient location. The place was designed quite well. Service was great too!

it was the first time I had seen a 1.5 litre beer. I liked the beer but it was overpriced. we paid around 20-25 euros for it. we also tried vegan bitterballen and we really liked them🍻

Food was delicious but it was too much. We ordered two salads and thought we wouldn’t have so much penne in one and sweet potato in another. It’s highly recommended to go very hungry there. Unfortunately we left a lot on the plate.

Needed to wait a long time before we got served despite being almost the only people in the place. Then we needed to follow up with the staff about the order only to find out it was never registered due to an issue with the machine. The food itself lacked any kind of spice. We got free drinks as a compensation but it was not a pleasant experience.

I ordered The Real Bite, it tasted decent, they did however forget the lettuce. The bacon tasted quite good. The fries are crispy. They do sometimes forget something.

The smash from hell burger was very tasty. The cheese was nicely melted and there was the perfect amount of sauce. It was a little expensive for a burger without fries or salad but it's a good option if you're in the city.

So glad I went out of my way to buy stroopwafels here before we went home. They aren’t exactly the kind you see in all the other shops. They are more like a very thin spiced biscuit with the caramel inside. And I loved it!

Holy crap this is the best stroopwafel that I had in my life! I wish that I had bought a box to go when I was there. The store is small and quaint, but the stroopwafel is so good. I highly recommend!

This place makes very good Stroopwafels with honey. The poppy seeds dessert, the ginger almonds and the Oliebll were also very good. There is a place to sit inside and coffee is available. The service isn't the friendliest out there especially towards newcomers. Highly recommended nonetheless.

I heard a lot about their Stroopwafel, so I was excited to try it, but honestly, it was a huge letdown. It was way too hard, super crunchy, cold and pretty much tasteless. Definitely not what I was expecting. And for the price? Totally not worth it. I really don’t get the hype. As someone who’s tried pastries all over Asia and Europe, I can confidently say this was one of the most overrated ones I’ve had in my life. I was expecting something maybe a bit softer (?), warmer, or at least flavorful, but instead, it was just a plain, sugary crunch with no real taste. The cappuccino was also pretty cold, which was really disappointing. As someone who has lived in Italy for years, this felt like a huge disappointment to what a proper cappuccino should be. It’s not just about the taste—it’s about the experience, and serving it lukewarm just ruins it. Not trying to be rude, but there’s absolutely nothing special about it. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. There are way better options out there for pastries or a sweet breakfast, specially if you already have tried good pastries in other European countries or Asia.

The place is over crowded, you might need to wait at least 30 mins to get table at dinner time. Table is very close to each other, the food is not authentic as per Vietnamese, we ordered Bun Bo Hue and it was quite disappointing, the taste is completely different, felt like they use Pho broth and added some spices to make it like Bun Bo. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Ah, the joys of being famished in Amsterdam. After wandering this street of Asian restaurants—each packed to the brim with hungry diners—I thought I had struck gold when I spotted Little Saigon, the one place with open tables. A clear sign, I assumed, that fate had chosen me. Spoiler: fate clearly had other plans. With a respectable 4-star rating, I figured it couldn’t be that bad. I stepped in, noticed that practically everyone was slurping beef pho like it was the elixir of life, but of course I decided to be clever and order fried rice instead. Big mistake. Huge. The fried rice arrived, looking decent enough, but one bite told me all I needed to know: sticky, bland, and tragically uninspired. Let’s just say this rice was not auditioning for MasterChef anytime soon. As someone who has grown up eating rice (the right kind of rice), I can safely say this was the wrong grain for the job. I ended up begging for soy sauce and chili just to convince my taste buds they hadn’t died in vain. Authentic Vietnamese cuisine? Well, if authenticity tastes like disappointment, then sure. I can’t speak for the pho—it might well be the restaurant’s redemption arc—but that fried rice was a culinary plot twist I did not sign up for. Would I come back? Let’s just say hunger made me finish the plate, but curiosity will not bring me through these doors again. Unless, of course, I want another lesson in why sometimes following the crowd isn’t such a bad idea.

The food here is quite delicious, convenient to order food by QR code. But the limitation is that the place is small, if there are many customers, you may have to wait. But overall, I am satisfied.

Great place for some wholesome, flavorful south-east asian food. Loved the food especially the vermicelli noodles and Vietnamese iced coffee! A memorable way to mark your Amsterdam trip :) Good service was a lovely bonus.

Ordered the spicy pho( bun bo hue). A bit on the salty side and usually have shrimp taste but not for this case. Not authentic bun bo hue. More like pho with chilli. Price is reasonable. May come come back for other food to see whether is authentic or not.

My dishes don't have the taste of Vietnamese food, especially Bun Bo Hue dish. The stir fry was salty, the tofu was hot but the vegy was lukewarm.

Uffft soup is always my comfort food. But this Pho at little saigon are the best soup ever… a lot of choices and filled with lot of ingredients and the broth is sooo good. Nothing beats pho

Small place full of simple and fulfilling dishes! A great part of the menu serves different types of dutch sandwiches (I ordered the homemade hummus, it was really really nice). Nice option around the area, the decoration is very interesting. It seems like a great place to chat and feel present (without the need of a cellphone)! Almost everything tries to be organic and a lot of the menu is also homemade!

A cosy cafe, recommended to us by a staff from Rembrandt Museum. We enjoyed the quiche and tomato soup. The apple tart was also yummy. Service was friendly. Recommend!

I love this place so much, we went three times in our visit to Amsterdam because we coudn't have enough. The food is delicious, the place itself has so much character (I found it inspiring), the staff are friendly. I enjoyed drawing little bit of this quirky colorful Amsterdam jewel on my notebook and I will remember their aesthetics forever.

I can't say enough good about this place! I ate there 2 or 3 times while in Amsterdam and everything is fresh. One the way in each morning they pick up their bread for the day fresh from a local bakery. They will even fresh squeeze a combination of quite a few fruits and veggies into a juice for you. It's a must visit if you are ever in Amsterdam!

Went there for breakfast and fell in love. The ambience was unbelievable. It’s such a cute cafe. I ate fried eggs served with hartog bread with salami. It was pretty good. I also drank basil-lime lemonade. It was probably one of the best drinks I’ve ever tasted. If I ever come to Amsterdam again, I will definitely go to this cafe.

We came here at the recommendation of our guide from Those Amsterdames. The space and ambience definitely charmed the socks off me. We had the window seat where we could watch the world goes by. Food wise, I think it could be an effect of coming in the afternoon as opposed to the morning, the bread was harder than I expected. It took a bit more of us to tear it apart to bite sizes. The apple pie, highly raved by other Google Reviewers, was really amazing! That delivered.

The line was fairly long but organized well. We ordered fries with regular mayo, parmesan cheese, and chopped onion. It was quite tasty! It tasted just as expected, and the fries themselves were really good. Would definitely buy again if they sold in my country. There are no tables or chairs to sit on, so choose a good day where you can sit and enjoy them by the canal.

Now the question is, was it worth it? Answer: Yes, 💯%. Cheesy Chips with Mayonnaise is a delicacy in Amsterdam. It’s sold in many different ways, in many different areas. As social media normally does, it makes one bigger than the other. Fabel Friet is one the most common. The queue wasn’t too long and the service is quick. They don’t mess about. This area can get very busy so pick your moment. The food, was, delicious. Definitely worth the wait and definitely worth a try. The only thing I would say is the corridor is very narrow getting in and out. A great little find. Thank you 💫

Super simple menu here, mainly known for their fries but have some other smaller items such as croquettes! Of course you have to get the fries! I had truffle mayo as the sauce choice and they had a ton of cheese on top. So good and such a yummy snack during the day. They get a very long line so be prepared. It’s all take out, no seating. Must try!!

It’s a very famous online fries restaurant, but to be honest, I did find the specialty. Firstly, you have to wait outside even near the river on the bridge, then you can order in the counter, there is no any seats inside, so just buy and take away. Secondly, almost all the shops nearby put the signboards said please do not stand and eat in front of the shops. Which means you have to take the fries and go bit far to find a place to eat it. Thirdly, it’s just very normal taste, personally don’t think it deserves the queuing and waiting.

Amazing fries! We absolutely loved them! The spicy cheddar fries were a bit too spicy for our taste, but that’s just personal preference. The truffle fries, on the other hand, were so delicious. The only downside is that you have to eat outside, and finding a bench or a spot to sit is a bit of a struggle

The fries are good, but pretty average fries with truffle mayo sauce and parm. Bonus points for it being hot, having a bit of crisp, and fresh. Other than that it’s just normal fries once you finish the top layer with all the toppings. There is also no place to eat it and they have security guards in front shooting you away from their store with your fries. They didn’t provide any napkins as well and it got so messy. Not the best atmosphere and service.

Really delicious! We got the fires with truffle mayo and Parmesan. The wait was about 15 min and the line moved fast. The fries were good but not our favorite - we also tried the beef croquette which was okay.

We loved this bakery, despite it being a chain. Small, quaint, neighborhood cafe. The bagels (salmon & cream cheese and a pesto tomato avocado) were delicious and the coffee was great as well (cappuccino). We ate outside along the canal. A very pleasant breakfast experience.

Perfect location with seating next to the canal. I don’t know did the servers forgot that they have tables outside also or what, but we and some other clients waited up to 20 minutes to order. Outside tables were filthy and they didn’t clean them, even though they saw it. Food took around 20 minutes to arrive. Coffees were cold as they brought them. Bagels were good, but with overall experience not worth it.

Lovely little local coffee shop that do the most amazing and varied bagels. Menu has lots of options covering most tastes! Good portion sizes, tasty bagels, great coffee and a very reasonably priced

A great bagel and beans right on the gracht! We had fantastic quick service, ordered a simple bagel and cappuccino. It's a chain that I can depend on to be consistent and enjoyable. We will be back!

I didn’t expect much from bagels in Amsterdam but they were ok maybe a little under baked and the texture was a bit off. Good taste though. Servers were nice.

Had a very delicious salmon bagel and a coffee here... Loved it. Friendly, good atmosphere, food great. My only down was nothing to worry about unless you're not very mobile, as the stairs to the nice downstairs toilet are narrow. Just something to be aware of. 👍🙂

De Waag is a beautiful restaurant/bar. It is a beautiful building and on the terrace outside you have the perfect spot in the middle of Amsterdam. The service is quite slow but very friendly. The food is quite average, a bit comparable to other restaurants in the area. The prices………well what do you expect in the middle of Amsterdam, the location is great, so you shouldn't complain that it is expensive.

Really enjoyed dining in this restaurant that has 300 lit candles inside. We ordered the half chicken, boneless ribs with a side of sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious but I really liked the boneless ribs. It was covered in peanuts and the meat was tender and flavourful. Would recommend making reservations as we were turned away the first time we tried to eat here

The restaurant is in a beautiful place, the terrace is beautiful. I recommend Tuna Tataki, excellently prepared, Crispy chiken and Chies Finger. The price of food for 3 people with one drink is about 60 euros. Friendly service, quiet and relaxed atmosphere. If you are visiting Amsterdam, I recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy "regular" food. The building was built in 1466, which is a rarity and a special historical place. If you want to drink 1 liter of Gin and Tonic, this is the right place 😊

Sat outside on a lovely day. Services was attentive. Food was reasonably priced and fast. Nothing fancy but solid quality. House beer was a real winner. Could recommend if you are in the area and want lunch in around 45 minutes (at a castle!) without too much faff.

The food was below average and couldn’t complete the course. I took their signature burger and it wasn’t great 3/10. I also ordered the soup of the day and I will give it 3.5/10. The only good thing they had was the fires and sweet potato which easily marked at 7/10. Overall not worth the visit.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this chicken—omg, I was talking about it all day! The best thing my partner and I ate in Amsterdam. We tried the Spicy Korean Sandwich (1000/10) and the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl (10/10). Definitely a meal worth spending money on.

During my vacation in Amsterdam, I visited several restaurants based on Instagram recommendations. And if I had to choose one that was really worth driving all the way across town, it would be this one. The Korean chicken bowl is perfection. The rice is so good you can eat it on its own, the chicken is perfectly cooked, and the sauces are impeccable.

Definitely not the “best chicken in Amsterdam” as they brand themselves, but not bad at all. Price portion ratio was reasonable and the staff were friendly. Would be great if they can pay more attention to hygiene too.

We were looking for an easy snack that wasn’t sweet or spiked, and we saw a queue at Benny’s Chicken. So we channeled our inner Singaporean (we love queues) and joined. Our calling was right — the fried chicken was amazing. Pipping hot with the right amount of spice, coated in a light crispy batter. I appreciated the staff’s effort in trying really hard to call my name for collection.

With the 4.8 rating with over a 1,000 reviews I knew it was a no brainer to come and try my very first stroopwaffle here. I am glad I did. Yes, I might have overpaid. But I am choosing to say I paid for the experience, the size, plus the hand wipe… You order at the counter and then they make it fresh in front of you! Pretty cool. (At the time I didn’t know many places did this.) The Dutch know how to do their sweets. They aren’t overly sweet or heavy. You can enjoy it and appreciate it. I am not sure if there is better out there and I don’t want to know. I think I had a great first and only experience and I would say anyone who went here would. Soak up the experience and soak up that sticky Carmel in between!

You have to line up then wait like 5-10 mins would get the hand make waffle immediately. May be it is the nature of their style but fresh one is very soft and taste not really strong. Like they offer you a wet paper and also have big smile from all staffs. If possible, please ensure will clean up the rubbish bin regularly ? 😬😬

There was no queue when we went, so we got to watch them being made fresh right in front of us. They came out perfectly warm, soft in the middle with just a little crisp on the outside, and not overly sweet. Honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Yes, they’re a little on the expensive side, but you can really taste the quality — worth every cent. And the little hand wipe for those sticky caramel fingers afterwards was such a thoughtful touch! Highly recommend stopping by Hans Egstorf if you’re in Amsterdam.

Drinks only - fun bar with fair prices in a good area of the Jordaan. Would recommend for a before or after drink if dining at one of the popular local spots near by. I even saw people walk in from the pizza restaurant across the street and buy drinks to take over there.

Once in a lifetime experience! If you want to know what living the life of an Amsterdammer feels like you can‘t miss out on this spectacular location. The cozy lights, the fresh drinks, the „gezellig“ ambient and the lovely service fusion to an utmost prestigious experience. The decoration let‘s you revive the XVI century whilst the tapestry is straight out of an interior design magazine. We shall return for another Crawl!

The bar is located in a very nice street in Jordaan. It’s cozy and convenient to sit inside as outside on a good weather. Their Dutch typical bites are really good and they have all beers, wines, gin and drink selections. Their service isn’t that good. I can understand their overwhelmed but they can tend to be rude a bit.

My favorite cozy place in the heart of the Jordaan! There's absolutely nothing special about it and yet it is my most special place. The inclusive atmosphere, the music (which can be literally anything), the chill mood of it. I don't know, I guess you gotta see for yourself. When you go get some Trappist cheese, they serve it with apple jam which is super delicious!

We visited this restaurant with high expectations, enticed by the buzz around its opening. The ambiance, though not distinctly Ukrainian in style, featured paintings depicting Ukraine, adding a unique touch to the setting. As Ukrainians ourselves, we were eager to indulge in the flavors of home. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet our expectations. While the presentation and the enthusiastic introduction to each dish raised our hopes, the taste fell short of the authentic flavors we were looking for. It was a bit disappointing, given our anticipation.

This place is a smart casual unpretentious but still sophisticated wine bar. Their food are amazing and their wine list is even better! Their wine list is extensive with lots of natural wine our earth has to offer. You will leave here feeling full but light on your stomach, can totally can see the care and attention in each plate. Beautiful layers of flavour, and a lovely ambience. Would come back again even though it is slightly off the center area

Great Ukrainian dishes with a very friendly staff. 🇺🇦No, it's not exactly like at home. But if you understand that that taste is impossible to recreate on the other side of the continent, you'll be very grateful 😉 also great choices of ghorilka (vodka), just ask a waiter which flavours they have (thanks to Liza for serving us). Would 100% eat here again !

Surprisingly large wine bar with a very big terrace. No vegan options on the menu unfortunately, but quite a few very good vegetarian dishes. And what do you know, they serve beer (including non alcoholic) as well. Nice! Both the asparagus and burrata dish are amazing. And the chocolate caramel sea salt, well… try for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. Some very friendly people working there as well. Great place.

A super nice and cozy place in a calm district. The personnel is super nice, positive and welcoming, the menu is creative and diverse with super interesting mixes of ingredients, the wine list is partially weird (2 wines out of 5 in red by glasses from Loire which is not the most obvious choice - telling it as a person who’s living in France), but the orange wine choice was impressive. The only negative side is the service which was quite long especially when they forgot part of our dishes. Nevertheless I would definitely recommend the place to go to 🙌🏻😉

A place to try Ukrainain food. The food itself is okay, but price-quality is terrible. Almost everything is overpriced: 5 small pieces of dumplings (varenyky), consisting of simple dough, sauerkraut and white yogurt on top cost 16 euro. It doesn’t worth it. A tiny glass of cider is 8 euro. Ridiculous. Also, menu is very limited. I don’t recommend the place unfortunately. You can find other places to try Ukrainian cuisine.

We greatly enjoyed our visit to the Ukrainian pop up restaurant. Everything was superb - the authentic Ukrainian food, friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. The lard spread and the fermented vegetables were the best. And of course borsch and varenyky (dumplings) with potato and sauerkraut (the latter with a nice twist of plum). For desert we had syrnyky (sort of cottage cheese poffertjes) and poppy seed roll. Everything was delicious! Congratulations to the team! We will definitely be back! 🇺🇦

Service was good and quick. They made the fries fresh and they were nice and crispy when they came out. We got the garlic sauce it was okay. Nothing special but the fries were good. We got the large and it was a huge portion we split it between three people. There were a few different sauce options so that was cool. The place was very clean and they had a cooler filled with drinks.

Came across this while at Lourens! Decided to give them a shot later and have to say I really liked the fries. Got the large option with the Samurai sauce and it was really good. The sauce was perfectly balanced in terms of spiciness. The quantity was also quite a lot! Easily shareable between 2-3 people!

I was there on Saturday afternoon with a friend. Ordered falafel with mango and chilli falafel. Food was delicious and well balanced. Portions are of a decent size and leave you enough room for dessert. 😅 what I do think needs to be highlighted is very friendly service from Kim! It made our dining experience very enjoyable. Definitely coming back!

I never had a chicken merguez and was expecting it to be "less than" the usual BUT it was one of the best I ever had! (Owners: if you ever want to sell them in large packs for home...you have a loyal customer) Amazing place! And for low prices too - treat yourself!

Average food to be honest, nothing special. It's nice for a quick bite. The chicken was a little bit dry and overcooked. Coleslaw was ok, not much mayo. The burger of the month (chicken with Sriracha sauce on a donut bun) was an interesting combination.

For me one of the best burger place! The meat and portion are great! Just sad that they do not deliver anymore 😞 but it give the opportunity to visit the restaurant!

We didn't have the greatest meal experience here and it was our first night in Amsterdam. We decided to seat outside the street covered patio and service was slow and sparse. The server came only when there was food to be delivered or ordered and stayed indoor for the majority of the time. These were minor inconveniences compared to when the food arrived. My burger was satisfactory, so I've rated it 2 stars, but my partner's "the clerq fried chicken" was dry. It was really deep fried to a point where thinner pieces were jerky-like-texture. The "jalapeno fries" were also disappointing and felt like food from a carnival instead of a restaurant. It was in a small aluminum tray and all the cheese sauce was all at the bottom and the top was cold. We didn't receive any cutlery , napkins or ranch (that came with the chicken) and since the server barely came outside and we were starving, we just ate with what we had, paid and left. Our bill came to over 40 euros. (Regarding the photo, the patio had red light hence the hue.)

After a long day around Amsterdam we just made a stop in this place to google where we would go for a dinner. We ordered a pitcher of wheat beer, portion of chips and onion rings, but we decided to go after in some Chinese restaurant just close by. The guy who was serving us was very friendly always with the smile. When the chips, onion rings arrived we were surprised how good home made mayo was. Before we finished our beer we had decided to check their menu. Menu is based on the burgers and snacks but for me and my wife was interesting that there was a vegan option burgers( we are not vegans but we don't eat meat). Front of the place was very crowded with delivery drivers; inside of the restaurant not that much. After a while we decided to try burgers and we ordered another pitcher of beer and moved inside. After 10-15 minutes burgers arrived and belive me or not that was the best burger that we have had for a while. Surprisingly we enjoyed a lot and we ended up very happy. The vegan burger was that good that I think if you just give to somebody to try with no info that is vegan, they would never realize that is meat free burger. Maybe we enjoyed that much coz all day we were on the space cake completely high after some hasis but anyway I will "highly" recommend this burgers to try. :D

Great place for chicken and cocktails. They make a great rotisserie chicken. Their wings are good, too, and the onion rings were excellent.

The Clerq fried (burnt dry) chicken use to be great and served in a way you wanted to order more now it's just a waste of money. If you love your food salty and without juiciness this is the place to go.

The food was okay, but absolutely not what we expected. I had a deluxe royale triple patty burger. The burger was server in extremely greasy paper. The taste of grease was overwhelming. Overall very expensive. A rather simple beer was 5,5 euro's.

Really nice poffertjes on the market! I chose to get them with powdered sugar and butter (the standard). It was really nice and quick but maybe a tad bit too much butter. As it was on a market i won’t rate the atmosphere as it is just a market stall!

Tried the mini pancakes at Albert Cuyp Market — today I went for the raspberry flavor. At first, I thought it would be real raspberries, but it turned out to be just raspberry-flavored candy. The pancakes themselves were quite good — sweet and rich — though adding the topping made them a bit too sweet.

Incredible traditional mini Dutch pancakes! They come served on a cube of butter so the hot Poffertjes melt the butter for an incredible combination— plus you can add toppings of .50 apiece (I went for white chocolate and Oreos!). Can’t recommend enough.

Hot buttery sugary tiny pancakes served in a distinctly Dutch no nonsense way, yes please and affordable too. Making them flip them is ASMR for the stomach and the brain

Cute little stall with quite a few options of toppings! We had difficulty choosing which favor and so in the end we stick with the classic favour - icing sugar! It’s was really yummy, fluffy and soft!! Portion was good for sharing or just for a person (depending on your appetite)! One serving is about 10 pieces. The boss was really friendly and price is reasonable.

Absolutely amazing! This is the kind of tourist trap that aren’t trapping 🤣 you deserve the hype! Their chocolate cookie (their only cookie) is amazingggggg even when you queue (the queue always look so long, but they’re actually so fast!) you can smell the good stuff there! It is sooooo soft in the middle, with white chocolate melting inside, and crisp on the outsidee oh God i LOVE♥️ and please eat it while it’s hot cause it’s 20000 times betterr! But don’t worry they give a very detailed way to reheat your cookie at home 🤭👍🏻 (1 cookie = 3€, 6 cookie = 15€)

So, so, so delicious! Definitely worth trying and even worth the wait. I missed out on getting a cookie on my first visit because I arrived about an hour before closing and they had already sold out. So the second time, I went 30 minutes before opening. There were only 5 to 6 groups ahead of me, but by the time it opened, around 15 to 20 groups were in the queue. I was the second one to go in and bought a box of cookies for a friend and one for myself. The cookies were amazing. The white chocolate inside added a nice twist and gave the flavor more depth. Service was fast, and you can watch the whole baking process, which makes the experience even better. 🍪🍪

Phenomenal cookie. Stopped by on a Friday morning to finally try “the best cookie in Amsterdam.” I got there about ten minutes before opening, and there were already 10–15 people in line. While waiting, I watched the bakers through the window. White aprons, trays of dough, golden decors, chocolate everywhere, and the whole scene felt straight out of one of those candy-factory montages from old movies. Once inside, the process was simple. They sell only one kind of cookie, so you just choose how many (up to two dozen per person) and whether you want them in a tin or a paper box. Since I was flying them home, I went for the tin, which seemed to be what most people did. The staff were incredibly kind. One of them even handed me the last warm cookie from the tray for free. The cookie was simple but a perfect mix of dark chocolate batter with a core of white valrhona chocolate. It had that deep roasty aroma that lingered without bitterness, and it wasn’t too sweet. I’ll admit, I’ll always measure cookies against the ones my mom baked when I was a kid, but this was the closest I’ve come to that memory of a “perfect chocolate cookie.” They even include reheating instructions, and sure enough, once I pan-warmed them back home, they somehow got even better. My only regret was not getting the full two dozen.

Simply the best cookie we have ever had. The white chocolate filling was so creamy, and fits perfectly within the soft and rich cookie. It’s no wonder the shop continues to draw the crowds with just one item on its menu!

My friends and I just happened to walk pass after shopping at Bijenkorf Amsterdam. The queue was long but we still joined in the queue. There’s only one item to purchase yet, it’s so popular. The cookie making at the workshop was an essential part for me while waiting in the queue. While my turn to purchase, the cashier worked efficiently to pack and done. Taste wise, it was good and I adored the texture if the cookies, it’s crunchy on the outside and little chewy on the inside. Not too sweet but that’s excellent for me.

Apparently, this is the must-try cookie shop in Amsterdam, so of course we had to check it out. We even skipped dessert at Bistro de la Mer just so we could try these famous cookies! When we arrived, the line was super long—but it moved really fast. It was actually fun watching the cookie makers through the window as they molded the dough by hand and pressed chunks of white chocolate into the center. Kind of like the see-through kitchen you see at Din Tai Fung, if you know what I mean. The cookies were warm, chewy, and definitely tasty. But honestly, they didn’t blow my mind. If I bake cookies at home and eat them fresh out of the oven, they’re also warm and chewy—so this didn’t feel too different. Still, it was fun to try once and worth the experience. Four cookies cost €12—not exactly cheap—but the packaging is cute, and the shop itself has a great vibe. Overall, glad we tried it, but I probably wouldn’t go back.

After arriving in Amsterdam, I really fancied some pancakes and being a very short walk outside of the station this place was perfect. It was a little busy when I arrived however I still got a seat straightaway. Firstly just want to say that the staff were brilliant! Really friendly and helpful, they were always smiling and created a nice atmosphere. A great selection of food and drinks are available but I went for the basic maple and bacon option and a coffee. The coffee arrived almost straight away and was lovely. Like I said it was a little busy but my pancake arrived about 5-7 minutes later so still very quick service, and these were equally nice. Really fluffy and just spot on. It was a really good sized portion, (I got through about 2 and a half of them before they beat me) and the bacon wasn’t quite as snappy/crispy as I like, but they were nicely cooked and tasted great. And to top it off, after I paid they gave me a nice little keyring to remember the place and I personally love it when places do things like this. It’s just a really nice touch and I’ll always remember this place when I see it, and it really set the tone for what was an awesome day in an amazing city. 🙂 When I’m next in Amsterdam I’ll definitely be coming back here. The only thing I can say to just be aware of is if it’s busy, it can be a light bit tight if you sit outside as you’ll be sitting quite close to others. For me it wasn’t a problem as I’m not very big, but there was still a little bit of manoeuvring to get in and out, but the food and service you get is top notch so well worth it. In fact while I was eating a couple turned up with some suitcase and the staff offered to keep the cases safe inside so they could sit outside. Highly recommended for a casual, delicious pit stop by Centraal Station.

Overall pretty good experience. The food was good, there was wide range of options on the menu. I got something basic, but looking at the food on other tables some of the pancakes can be quite decadent. Coffee was good here, with options for oat or soy milk. I will say the temperature inside the restaurant was very hot and a bit of airflow would have made the dining experience more pleasant. The servers were nice, but limited interactions with customers because it was busy.

You can't go to the Netherlands and not have a Dutch pancake, and you shouldn't go to Amsterdam and not have one at Amsterdam Pancakes! Short queue, worth the wait, had one savoury and one sweet between us and some refreshing lemonades. All delicious! Would definitely come again and keep working through the menu - lots of tasty classics and modern combos to try.

I recently visited Pancakes Amsterdam and it was such a delightful experience! The Dutch pancakes we ordered were melt-in-your-mouth and with just the right balance of sweetness. I tried the Dutch pancake with sweet strawberries, hazelnuts and whipped cream, and it was absolutely delicious. The presentation was lovely too! Portion size was generous. The atmosphere of the shop was friendly and inviting. Staff were attentive and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, I’d highly recommend Pancakes Amsterdam to anyone looking for a comforting brunch spot or a sweet treat / savoiry pancakes any time of day. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu before my holiday comes to an end!

Went to Pancakes Amsterdam for a solo dinner and had a decent experience overall. I was seated quickly and the waiter came by within about 5 minutes—friendly enough, though didn’t introduce himself. The wait time for food wasn’t too bad (around 20 minutes), and the menu does a good job of explaining that the pancakes are made fresh, so I knew what to expect. I ordered the ham & cheese pancake with a fried egg. It was okay taste-wise—not really my thing, but that’s on me for picking a savory option. I’d definitely come back to try one of their sweet pancakes instead, which seem more popular. Really appreciated the smooth contactless payment option at the end. Overall, a solid spot to try Dutch-style pancakes in a relaxed setting. Also love the outdoor of the restaurant!

A gem in Amsterdam! A must visit if you are a chocolate lover! We went in a weekday afternoon, had already a long line but only waited for about 20 minutes until we got in. A variety of chocolate and souvenirs to pick from. The staff was super kind and helpful. Created our own chocolates, which took about 2h30 to be done, but they send you a message when it’s ready and the pick up was really quick I was expecting to see a bigger space and a coffee shop tho. But it’s cool to be able to watch the process of making the chocolates. Still great experience and delicious chocolate for any taste!

A fun little venue for any Tony's fan. We actually visited twice during our stay! On the first visit we queued for around 30 minutes to make our own bars. It is a fun experience and nice to be able to make a bar which was personalised with ingredient combinations which are not available in store. I felt it was reasonably priced for the experience. We went back that evening to pick them up and then visited again the following day for some bars of the shelf. There was no queue the next day so there is clearly peak times which we had not looked into. We brought 6 bars for around €25 euro as there was a promotion, so again, value for money 🍫

The chocolate shop is amazing, and the service is excellent. They offer a wide variety of chocolates at great prices with attractive deals. I really liked it and highly recommend visiting. Good serve from Lens Thank you,

A great tourist trap for a stock up on your favorite chocolate bars. So many delicious flavors. It's a colorful shop and you can also make your very own custom chocolate bar! Pretty fun! Prices are slightly higher than buying at a regular grocery store.

An absolute must for anyone visiting Amsterdam. Creating your own chocolate is one of the best activities I could possibly think of and they make it easy, quick, and delicious. Queue goes really fast so don't be turned off by it. Once I created my chocolate bar (€10) there was a 2 hour wait until it was ready and they communicate progress throughout the process via WhatsApp and a link with real-time updates.

A must for fans of Tony's Chocolonely, or chocolate in general! They definitely had more varieties than I could get in my local store. And if you have the patience, you can make your own! Expect to wait 2-3 hours for the result. We had to wait about 10min to get into the store, but the queue was even longer when we left.

Love being able to create our own custom chocolate bar. The company and its mission is so inspiring, and if you’re buying chocolate anywhere else, you need to reconsider 🤷🏽‍♀️ Also… the chocolate is delicious!

All modern school beers and some cans. Not my thing but independent I appreciate the effort of the bar. I had a fantastic 15 months barrel aged sour beer with blackberries from the Nano Brewery. Thank you guys.

Great choice of craft beer, and I mean great. Around 50 beers from tap, including such US giants as Other Half, Parish, Bottle Logic and many others. The bartenders are kind. Interesting toilets as well 😀

Great bar, amazing selection of craft beers. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Popped in a few times. And it's on the beer tour (visit 4 bars and get a beer to collect a free t shirt). Bar snacks are ok. Nice restaurant next door if you want a proper meal.

We ordered the beef soups. It was okay but I wondered how they made the broth as it tasted like from ready-made powder stock. The proportion of beef meat, mushrooms and noodles could be better (too much noodles plus a bowl of rice, little protein and veggie. It's a carb party). The restaurant space is full of cartons and boxes and whatnot. It looks like they are still in the process of moving in and setting up the business. Messy atmosphere. The staff there were kind. The chef was a kind-hearted lady. I truly appreciate their genuine kindness and personality. Perhaps I visit again and try a different dish next time!

OK after leaving from the hotel we didn’t realize it was 45 minutes to walk to this place, but it was worth every bit. The food is unbelievable. We ordered the classic fried chicken and I don’t know what the sauce was but the best I’ve ever had.

My third time at this place and never disappoints. Very cheap for the portions, always amazing taste and even when is full orders are quickly delivered.

Really nice place for Korean style fried chicken! Came here for some takeaway, we both ordered a portion of the fried chicken. The Chicken was juicy, the batter perfectly crispy, the sauce was delicious and for the price, we got a lot of chicken. While waiting we saw some of the other dishes they offer come by, They also looked very good, definitely check this place out!

The tteokbokki and fried chicken were just average. The sauce seemed to be taken directly from the jar and mixed in with the rice cakes and fried chicken, so it tasted separately and was not as delicious as I expected. The spicy beef soup was pretty good, though, japchae was also okay.

Really blody delicious! The staff kind of lost parts of the order, but as soon as we asked it was there. The food is really tasty!!! Maybe a bit more spicy, but oeffffffd that chicken is sooooo crunchy and tasty.

Worst kfc ever! I order online and they marked as ready for picked up 21:54. I went to the counter and my order was not ready until 22:30 On top of that they gave me the wrong burgers, as I asked for two zingers with no lettuce and I received two original with salada! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone

Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Two of the self-service kiosks weren’t working, which caused long waits as everyone had to line up to order. The toilets were dirty, with the soap dispenser having fallen off the wall and left lying on the sink, and the napkin dispenser was empty. The restaurant looked untidy overall, with trash scattered around. On top of that, the service was very slow. Improvements are needed

Review for KFC Zoetermeer The food at KFC Zoetermeer was generally good, but there were a couple of letdowns. The burger tasted fine, but it was cold, which took away from the experience. Also, the Pepsi was too diluted, almost like it didn’t have enough syrup in it. On the positive side, the chicken was crispy, and the service was quick. If they can fix the small details, it would be a much better experience. 3.5/5 stars.

Pretty chill place with fast table delivery. Tastes nice and hot for a maccys but they have got my order wrong on several occasions. Easily solved by bringing it up, but still shouldn't be happening. Cleaner than most McDonald's too.

Really poor! First wait over 10 full minutes before somebody showed up by Manuel register. Discount coupons where refused and we proofed they where valid. They offered u 15% .but it was way lower discount 4 different people couldn't program register correctly Floormanager came Price was finally right Product I have never eaten such a small fish o filer and cold :( I was already in the car Next time BK again!

Milkshake is extremely thick, undrinkable and does not compare to other McDonald’s in The Netherlands.
