The 50 best cheap eats in Guelph

I popped in the last two weekends for a couple of drinks, and a nibble. Met the lovely Delores, and Cheryl on the bar. I can’t say enough great things about this place. The owner, Tammy introduced herself, and provided a sample of wine she was putting on the menu. What a welcoming experience. It’s great to see fresh faces, and good energy. The food and cocktails are delicious. Highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of dinning at Manhattans Pizza Bistro Music Club in Guelph, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The evening began with the Abbondate Salad and mussels, both flavourful and satisfying. The highlight of the meal was the Nat King Cole pizza, which was perfectly crafted. For drinks, I enjoyed a special Bee's knees with Lemongrass infusion while my sister sipping the Espresso Tiramisu Martini, adding a unique twist to the classic Cocktail. Dessert was a treat with an Affogato Caffe (Vanilla Gelato floating on Espresso Cafe) and a mocha latte enhanced with Grappa Botega, Baileys and Frangelico. The owner/manager/host welcomed us with grace and was very knowledgeable, showing us all the wines they carry. The live jazz band with drum added a wonderful ambiance, making it a memorable pre-New Years Eve 2025 🎉. Overall, it was an enjoyable feast with the family and friends with great food, drinks and music. Highly recommended !

Bad food, good vibes. As a club, it’s great. As a restaurant, it’s horrible. We got the platter for 2 with steak, potatoes, beans, basa, and shrimp. The steak was ordered to be rare and we got medium, way too overcooked. The basa filets were just soggy and flimsy. The rest of the platter was WAY too salty (and I love salt). The rigatoni we ordered was better, but still way too salty. I did enjoy the live music and drinks there though despite the horrible food.

The music was amazing! Stan Chang was incredibly entertaining! Pizza was delightful. The creme brulee was rich and creamy! Worth the drive to Guelph!

This was our first time at Manhattan's Bistro. We were there to see our friend's band, Southern Soul from Florida. We had reserved a table which we were promptly taken to. Our server was pleasant and attentive to us. We ordered one of their pizza's, which was very good, along with a few drinks. We had a great time eating, drinking and enjoying the band. Manhattan's Bistro is apparently a Jazz venue. So I can't speak of that, but we were quite happy with our visit there. 👍👍

The food was just ok,,, took forever to get menus. Then we had to share 2 menus for 4 of us. We went with friends who raved about this place. However we found out there was an ownership change. Our server was extremely new and the cappuccinos were terrible. The live music was great but a little loud to have a conversation at the table. Our friends also mentioned this was their first bad experience here in the ladt few time they have come.

We used to love this spot, and came here monthly, but on Friday night, we were sat and ignored for over 30 minutes until we had to call attention to the staff. Once the manager was notified, she did not care enough to take action, and remained socializing with other patrons, and we walked out to never return, without even being greeted or our drink order being taken. Do NOT recommend.

Great and tasty restaurant in the heart of DT Guelph with a good selection of dishes. The trout and pizza were best to me while the other dishes were tasty too. It gets busy for lunch so do show up early to grab a table.

Just had an excellent meal here! Had two appetizers (crispy whoolwhich goat cheese and the beef cheek boats), a small 3 sisters salad (perfectly dressed) and a portobello burger. No complaints — delicious flavours, homemade taste, and really friendly service by Viviana! (She was super kind and gave us great recommendations.)

Interesting restaurant in downtown Guelph. The menu is interesting and certainly reads well, not your usual fare which is a nice change. We had the beef cheeks which were nice and a pan roasted chicken which was a bit dry. The sauce on the chicken (yogurt based?) was interesting but it did not save the chicken. The sides on the plate for both dishes were good. I felt the service a bit lacking, the restaurant wasn't busy and frankly I felt ignored. Our order should have been taken earlier. The menu is also over-priced in my opinion. Parking is available on the street or at several municipal parking lots.

You can taste how fresh everything is at Miijidaa is. They have a nice outdoor patio and a good selection of drinks. Perfect for a summer day. I would highly recommend a visit. Try the pumpkin bread, it was delicious!

Super cute place. Loved the patio. They are so generous with birthdays as they gave me a complimentary drink and dessert. Would go again.

Quaint place to have a very nice dinner. Appetizers are fantastic. You have to try the pumpkin bread and the mushroom toast appies. Fish entres were all amazing, and the vegetarian choices were really tasty. Good choices for beer and wine. Didn't have room for desert, but the chocolate torte and sticky toffy pudding looked yummy. Cappuccino Coffees topped off our night. Staff were attentive and gave great menu suggestions. Highly recommend eating here.

We tried Buon Gusto Restaurant this weekend and overall had a nice experience. The Crispy Pork Belly was very flavorful and delicious, though it didn’t quite live up to its name as it lacked the crispiness we expected. The Octopus was tasty, but a little on the chewy side. The pizza was spot on — nothing to complain about there. The complementary bread with oil and balsamic vinegar was a nice touch, but it would have been much better with higher quality oil and balsamic, and if the bread had been served warm. Overall, good food and a pleasant visit, with just a few details that could be improved to make the experience excellent.

A crowd pleaser. Everything our group tried was so flavourful and perfectly cooked. We ordered the Bruschetta, Eggplant Parmiganna, and the Toscana pizza and the Fig Prosciutto pizza. The chef was accommodating about substitutions to make the food vegetarian friendly. Our server was warm and friendly. Looking forward to the next time we're back!

Service - Nikki was great! Smiling, happy, inviting personable Location/ambiance - patio seat and view were relaxing; parking easy (Tuesday 7pm at the end of July). Food/drink: Pink Grapefruit Mojito - delish and refreshing Appies: shrimp in tomato sauce w bread was yummy; Pork Belly was ok not as crispy as typical Chinatown roast pork, salad dressing was a bit sweet. Tagliatelle (boar) - noodles were a bit overcooked, tomato base was yum Beef cheeks were tender and yummy, polenta was crunchy and brussel sprouts were charred nicely, but both drowned in au jus which was too salty. I would have preferred brussel sprouts and polenta off to the side of the plate or on a separate side dish, and just 2tbsp of au jus poured directly over beef, with remaining au jus in a small carafe. If you're looking for some great Italian eats in Guelph, this is definitely a great spot to try. My only issue was we waited almost half an hour for a table even though I made reservations beforehand. After that, everything went smoothly and everything was just so good. Food was prompt and delicious. If you're celebrating a special occasion or just having a date night, this is the place. Just make reservations beforehand.

It's a very epic and wonderful experience we have here!! Me and my husband just looking for something to eat ( pasta specifically ) were just walking and saw this restaurant and enter, to our surprise the restaurant was very fancy looking and extraordinary ambiance and we both wearing only shirt and flops and were very shy 🤣🤣. But the owner itself talk to us and make us feel welcome in the restaurant. The food is very delicious we enjoyed it a lot, the service is good, the owner and staff is very friendly.

I should add that my boyfriend made reservations a couple hours prior and we had no issues! In fact my boyfriend even added it was a birthday dinner and it felt like everyone was wishing me happy birthday!! Soo begin it was sooo nice and cozy ! Didn’t feel like we were packed sardines ! And the meals!! Chefs kiss!! We started with the pork belly (which was my first time having ever!) that was soo well paired with an arugula salad and “marinade glaze”. All of the above would normally not make sense together in my head but it was sooo good! The pork beautifully cooked and a crispy texture on the top and the salad on the side with a hint of a sweetness!! Moving on we had a couple of pasta dishes My boyfriend ordered the: TAGLIATELLE CINGHIALE BOLOGNESE - $22.00 farm raised boar, fennel, onion, carrot, tomato, pepperoncino, grana padano, romano SHRIMP GENOVESE-$25.00 shrimp, spaghetti, tomato, basil pesto, pancetta, red pepper, arugula, grana padano Both plates were a generous servings. One thing I truly enjoyed was both meals we not very heavy! They were filling but didn’t make you feel icky after !! And we were incredibly excited for the little birthday treat i received as dessert!! I loved this restaurant and would 1000% recommendation making sure to make a reservation as it seems to be a great place to eat authentic Italian cuisine!!

A 5 Star dining experience without the worry for strict dress codes and impossible reservations! The staff was incredible in delivering an experience that exceeded expectations. Adi our server was kind, knowledgeable of the menu, and attentive to all tables she was serving. Ali the owner came and ensured the food and service was to his standards, and was bringing food out to tables as well. Leading by example! The food was amazing, flavour palettes were spot on! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! EDIT: After the second visit, I’m doubling down on my initial review. If you see this and haven’t gone, let this be the push you need to do so.

We had a very enjoyable dinner at Borealis. Food was very flavourful and our meat entrees were cooked perfectly to our request. We love the dedication to local on the menu. Service was excellent and our server was very friendly. We made a reservation in advance but were initially seated at what was probably the worst table in the house, located right beside a large window looking out to the hostess desk and front entry area. Happily, when we asked for a different table they accommodated us without hesitation. I do recommend they cover that window with a curtain or piece of art to preserve the atmosphere of the dining room for that particular table. Overall our dinner was fantastic and we recommend Borealis as an excellent, locally owned restaurant.

A good spot that catera to everyone's needs. They have a good menu for drinks including zero proof offerings. Great service here and busy but cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend the manatoulin trout - done very well! The wings here were also delicious. There is a happy hour menu offering here - Didnt get to try but looks like great deals.

Recently experienced a lovely summer evening on their patio. A nice tranquil location with lovely food. The customer service was top-notch.

Had an incredibly delicious vegan quinoa bowl. No flavour was sacrificed because no animals were. My friend had a beef short rib dinner and said it was delicious also and it did look and smell super good.

Attended on a Sunday evening for dinner. My wife and I were very excited as this is a place where we first started to date and frequented. Had to hunt down staff after waiting ten minutes to get seated. Once seated the waitress was wonderful and very personable. We ordered our food despite them changing the menu and removing a lot of the staples like sweet potato fries. I got the great lakes pickerel and the wife ordered a taco salad, app was the cheese dip. The cheese dip didn't have the caramelized onions on it like advertised and the salad had cold chicken that resembled precooked chicken you get at the grocery store. The cheese on it also looked like it was just poured out of a bag, disappointing for an all local menu. The pickerel was good but I feel the oil temperature was off as the inside was very pasty and undercooked for the batter. The fries were also fishy suggesting they were fried in the same vat as the fish and they were soft not crunchy. When a meal with tip is over a hundred dollars it makes me very hesitant to go back when there are so many other local great options.

Thank you to team Borealis especially the kitchen for some supreme food last night. The Turkey pot pie soup was outstanding and the cheddar burger and parmesan fries is always spot on, if your into greens try the leafy green salad with vinaigrette dressing its a must. This place has a lot to offer Thank you guys...

We always have a wonderful time! Tonight we went to their Doggie Patio Party with our pup and it was so fun! They had an awesome menu for the doggies!

THE best steak I've ever had. Honestly, it baffles me...the food is beyond top notch and the servers are kind, attentive and friendly. Whenever I'm in Guelph I make it a point yo come here for beers and steak. Oh, they have an extensive selection of beers too.

Excellent Pub, a lot of beer options and delicious food. It’s worth it a try when you are visiting Guelph. The Beef Tartare was really good. The Baker Street Burger it’s also a good choice, you can add a fried egg if you like. The Sticky Toffee Pudding that we had as a dessert was yummy too.

Generally good experience. Sat on patio outside on the front porch in the shade on a beautiful fall day that felt like summer. Had great wings and drinks for 5. Liked the outside better. Still fine inside though.

Have been in Guelph a long time and had yet to visit this place as we have some favorites downtown. However this first visit will add them to that list. Great pub-like social atmosphere and the food was fantastic! I ordered some onion rings to start as a snack and OMG, what came out looked like donuts. They were huge, but the batter was super light and crispy, probably some of the best I've had! Food all around for everyone was excellent. And our server was nice and attentive. We will definitely be back, and recommend a visit for sure!

I’ve been wanting to come to this place for over five years. I came highly recommended from a chef friend of mine. They did not disappoint we had mussels chorizo with toast that was amazing so ‘sourdough’. My wife had their name sake hamburger the smoked pork belly was to die for instead of just regular bacon. The salads were spot on fresh lightly dressed and really well placed with the food and the coleslaw on the plate. Presentation was good. I have the fish and chips for chips are amazing the batter is a bit too heavy. Everything was really really good I will go back tomorrow. Oh yeah the beer selection was amazing the weight staff recommended a nice strong West Coast IPA and it was bang on exactly what he described. The staff were great I sat outside upstairs felt like I was in New Orleans it was awesome

I'm incredibly upset and disappointed with my service last night. I told my waiter my allergy issues and double checked my food prior to ordering. I ended up incredibly sick due to an allergic reaction to what I ate. I've never had this blatant a problem, and I will not be returning.

Discovered this English-style pub on a walk downtown Guelph. Beautiful old home renovated into two floors of restaurant space. The first floor bar was quite busy with lots of gents enjoying happy hour. Quieter upstairs with a warm ambiance. Staff were most welcoming. The menu is fantastic, not your typical pub fare. My friend and I wanted to order everything! Our waitress Page was vivacious, charming, and knowledgeable about the food. The food was so delicious, from the chef-quality maple curry rubbed wings to the orange fennel salad and broccoli Caesar salad. We went with a dry cider. There is a large selection of beers on tap. I'm going back soon!

The shop is very cute and smells wonderful. Unfortunately, the croissant was disappointing. I went around 9am on a Saturday, and the croissant I got was cold. The texture was nice and flaky, but lacked the buttery taste of a good croissant. It tasted more of flour, so maybe it was just a bad batch.

Small locally owned French bakery - what a hidden gem for Guelph! Got a big batch of croissants and this AMAZING spinach/cheese swirl (my only regret is that I didn’t buy more). Iced coffee was great and prices were reasonable. Limited seating due to storefront size. Cash only

What is with the bad reviewers below? Eric is cash or etransfer only. It's in almost every other review. Also eric and his staff are humans and they need breaks. These are called Vacations. It's not pathetic to want a vacation or a break Hours are posted online and you can call. This isn't walmart. Cash only limited hours because it's worth it. Go when they are willing to serve you. Bring cash. It's not hard to get cash in 2025. Also what the hell is a vegetarian thar doesn't eat eggs. That called a vegan. You aren't a half vegan. You eat eggs or you don't. Enough. You wont regret the visit and as my kid says... who brought cash.. "now that's a good lunch" I've never heard her say those words before.

I think I got there on time to be served by 😩 staff. I felt unwelcome, the body language was "leave me alone I have better things to do" having run a bakeshop for a decade i know the feeling, but I was glad to see my patrons. The quiche was good though.

The pain au chocolat was very good! Lots of delicious looking pastries, seating is very limited though as it seems more like a grab and go spot.

Everything from here is delicious! I've been a few times whenever I'm downtown and have cash with me! I'm no authority on European authenticity of baked goods, but I don't think that matters with how tasty and fresh the food always is. I've heard from other people this place is legit if that matters to you. I'm personally a fan of the croissants, and had the pleasure of having their red pepper and potato soup today (perfect for the cold weather!) Support local, indulge on some incredible pastries and breads without any regret!

I returned! I bought their brownies. Wow! Must try! They will knock your socks off! My favourite foods here: brownie, cinnamon danish, chocolate chip danish, sausage roll, and croissant. Tip: Eat Eric's danishes immediately. I picked up his chocolate Danish around 10 am and instantly ate part of it, and it was better fresh and slightly warm compared to when I ate the other half 30 minutes later. It was still good later though. See my pics and read my captions for more details. Older Review: This baker really knows his pastries! I was stunned at the quality and for such a reasonable price! All of my items (4) came to $15. They are a cash only place. This business is closed Sunday through Tuesday. I am definitely coming back! Wow, what perfect pastry! You will feel and taste the difference in quality here! I would definitely have the sausage rolls and croissants again! Thank you to the customer that highly recommended them to me!

I grew up in Thailand and this is the most authentic Thai food around! The owner is so sweet and kind. The food is 10/10. I can't say enough about how amazing Naha Thai Kitchen is! If you haven't already been, you HAVE to go!

Quaint little restaurant out in no where. We had to split up our part of 7. Not much seating it’s more of a take out restaurant. The boys are on the patio out front. The young lady was very nice and pleasant. A place we might try again if we’re in the area.

Not good. Ordered the pad see ew and it tasted so sweet, and it wasn’t seasoned how a pad see ew should be seasoned. The Pad see ew wasn’t even the right colour. The beef was dry and overcooked, and the noodles have no char that a pad see ew should have. And somehow after tax, this is almost $27. Makin Thai in Guelph does a proper pad see ew.

Are you looking for solid Thai food for a night at home? This may be the spot to go for. Guelph is lacking with Thai food options. Eat Thai? Thai Express? Both are great, but the authenticity here is second to none. That being said, we thought the food was relatively… mid. The flavour was there, and the fried rice was the best we had ever had, but the pad Thai was just alright. Parking is tough if you are picking up. It’s basically a house converted into a restaurant. The only other thing we would say was the price was a bit higher than we were expecting. We got fried rice, 2 pad thais, and a spring roll, and it was a full $78, which was more than we were expecting. Overall, we thought it deserved a very strong 3.75, but we rounded up to 4 for the review.

This place is a hidden gem. I eat a lot of Thai food in many places/countries, and I can tell you this is one of the best Thai restaurants I ever ate outside of Thailand. Try it!

The food is amazing, perfect take out dinner. Great vegan and meat options. Vegan spring rolls and curry chicken spring rolls were fresh and delicious. Pad Thai was a generous serving, hot and very tasty. Popped in before for fresh rolls which we also quite good.

I can’t say enough good things about this place—hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had! I’ve been coming here since it first opened, and the quality never drops. It’s always fresh, bursting with authentic flavors, and every dish hits the mark. Na Ha is in a league of its own—nothing compares. The red curry with chicken and shrimp is an absolute must-try; it’s packed with flavor and just perfect. I’ll keep spreading the word to everyone I know because this place deserves all the love and more.

Had a meal here with friends. The staff was very nice and the service was good. Started with the loaded fries, which were great. We were there on half price night when you can mix and match almost any tacos for $5 a piece. We tried the los pollo, brisket, wild and tame, halloumi, and the spicy shrimp. We also tried the flight of margaritas. We loved all of the food and drink and we will be returning for more.

We had a wonderful experience here. Our server Steph was amazing, other staff members also checked in on us throughout our visit to ensure everything was great. The food was also extremely good. We had the Tiny Tuna Tacos; they were a bit salty, Ceviche; it was good however I'm used to various types of fish in them including shrimp and calamari so it was different but still good. We ordered the Al Pastor and Birria Tacos and they were delicious. The meats in both of them were tender and juicy. Overall we had a 10 out of 10 experience. Will definitely be coming back. We made reservations online which were super easy and were seated as soon as we arrived. Thank you!

Came to the patio for some cocktails and tacos. The drinks and patio were pretty solid. The tropic thunder cocktail was quite good ($18). Mango Pico salsa was nice ($9) but the “House made tortilla chips” were not fresh. As for the tacos, the Birria Tacos were good (3 for $26.50) but very small. Doesn’t even come with the side. I would stay away from the Spicy Shrimp tacos (3 for $23). They were covered in Morita Mayo and it just over powered the taco. For all the bad reviews about the service ours was good. Not a crazy wait and she gave us recommendations. Overall this is not an authentic Mexican restaurant like they claim. Very expensive and very small portions. I probably won’t be coming back unless it’s just drinks on the patio.

My family and I went to La Reina this past weekend and took our mini dachshund Franky with us. All four of us, which includes Franky had a wonderful time. The service was excellent, the food was amazing and we really enjoyed and outing with our dog and of course, she LOVED her meal. A bonus was the atmosphere - you felt like you were on vacation! Looking forward to coming back!

We were extremely impressed with this place. It was our second time there and it was even better than the first. All three of us were impressed with the service (Nicole was one of the best servers I've ever had - and I'm 50! :-). She made excellent commendations, had a very outgoing , friendly while also professional personality, and she took great care of us.) The food had really great flavours with obvious homemade sauces, fresh ingredients and interesting, unique combinations, and the atmosphere is very cool/unique. Its a little on the loud side but that was part of the vibe.) Honestly, I can't say enough. I hope you go and experience it for yourself. We had the amazing nachos (not your typical), the birria tacos and corn /queso dip. Perfect combo for three to share).

Enjoyed a summer patio lunch at La Reina . A nice taco selection with a varied menu of tasty options . We had the Al Pastor and Baja Fish Tacos and enjoyed them overall . The service is efficient and friendly. Patio vibes are great. Solid choice for downtown Guelph.

Went for my birthday and got complimentary churro. Great food, and nice staff. I had the Baja fish tacos, good but nothing special a solid 8/10, I do like the tangy sauce. The Los Pollos tacos also pretty good, I find them a bit more flavorful than the fish one. My friend had the Al Pastor tacos and he loved it. Said it was amazing and the pineapple was the wow factor. The churros was kinda disappointing, would prefer the cinnamon sugar to have more cinnamon. Definitely will come back

The service and food were both good. We were sat upstairs. Service appeared understaffed but our server was well prepared and overall it felt adequate for the number of guests which wasn't too many. Overall we had a great time, Thank you!

Me and my family have been here a couple times before. It is DIVINE. we were just recently back for my birthday and it was wonderful, as always! The atmosphere is wonderful. We were on the second floor, the stairs are a bit steep, so it was a bit of a struggle for my grandmother, but said stairs are very wide, so there was lots of room for us to help along side her, and keep most of the walk way open. They wwre trying out a new fall menu, and its just as good if not better than their standard one. I would highly recommend this place! Its classy, but not outrageously expensive, and has a gorgeous ambiance. Perfect for events, date nights, or even just if you're feeling like treating yourself to a nice dinner.

Had a wonderful time celebrating my son’s Confirmation. We were a party of 14 and everything went smoothly and the food was 10+. Thank you to our server Max who was fantastic! We definitely be back again!

Food was amazing, but I do feel like it is a bit pricey. We got the appetizer deal where we could pick 3, that was enough for two people.

Sugo has been a favorite of ours for Italian food since we moved in the area. This time was a mixed bag. Drinks and the chicken dish was amazing as usual. Pea and Fennel risotto was a big letdown. Bland and undercooked. Same with the kids Mac n cheese. Another bummer was 14$ we paid for bread. I remember it being free the previous time we dined here. I will give another chance but I can’t accept a mediocre experience for the prices.

I was very excited to be dining at Sugo on Surrey for the second time on NYE. Last year was a bit more expensive at $125 pp (unfortunately, I was double charged for the intermediate meal last year as well and didn’t notice until the next day) compared to $80 pp this year, but it was absolutely delicious that I wanted to go again. However, it was a bit underwhelming this year especially with their steak frites main dish. To state it simply, it was about as good as a dish you could get at a bigger chain restaurant. The other dishes were fantastic though! The servers here are very friendly and provided a great service.

Dined st Sugo's one year ago. Disappointed that there was no lettuce salads. Last night however, October 7, 2025. Pleasantly surprised. Awesome Ceasar salad with no pork. Thank you. The Best surprise was Spencer our server. Big shout out. His sense humour matched my family's. Spencer was histerical. My face hurts from laughing. Thank you for the wonderful food and entertainment Spencer. We will be returning.

Stopped in here today for an early dinner, and so glad we did. I typically just get a souvlakis dinner from Greek places but this one has a lot of interesting items on the menu. I ordered the chicken Karyai which was incredible. It's marinated chicken with a layer of marinara, topped with roasted red pepper and then feta and baked. Served with a side of fresh vegetables and a Fettuccini in marinara. Overall was incredible. Our server was very pleasant and welcoming, brought us a warm sliced bread with freshly made hummus and whipped egg roe thing I don't remember the name of. Very nice interior, a warmer day on the patio would have been awesome.

as a Greek person who has been to many Greek restaurants, this is the best Greek food I've ever had in my life other than my grandma's homemade food and the food in Greece itself. this is as authentic as it gets without travelling to Greece. prices are very reasonable, service was great. easily 10/10, everything was perfect. my only complaint was that the stall door in the men's washroom would not fully close no matter how hard I tried. that definitely needs to be fixed ASAP. but other than that minor issue, everything was perfect from the service to the atmosphere to the prices, and of course the food.

What a gem of a restaurant! Never been before, stopped in when we passed by, looked so lovely from the outside and even sweeter on the inside! Food was delicious, generous portions, well-priced, and the garlic tzatziki amazing!! Our server was so friendly and welcoming, would go back again in a heartbeat! Don't miss out on this fabulous little venue!

The traditional cuisine is exactly what you came for! And the portions are ample! I love the Greek atmosphere also! 💙 My first visit was odd being that Cafe Greek Garden has been at this location for a long time!! I shall return!

We sat on the patio, and the weather was perfect. It made the whole experience even better. The pasta was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy.

I’m a regular customer at Greek Garden and usually love this place! However, we ordered takeout the other day and unfortunately the calamari did not taste fresh or warm and the vegetables were definitely now fresh.

Been here twice now. Both times are good. I'm not a pizza fan but their pizza is good. Thin crusted and I believe it's wood oven (don't quote me on that) but the pizza is good. I got it both times and it's the most memorable thing about their menu. Try the pair pizza! I got lamb and it was excellent. I've also tried their duck and enjoyed it. But I would say their lamb is better. Grandparents had salmon and both enjoyed their meals. Wasn't the biggest fan of their mini poke cups. I misunderstood and thought poke or term sushi was gonna be diced tuna or something. Although it tasted fine it was essentially just rice, 3 edamame, 1 cube of avacado bite sized for $15... sorry but way too expensive for those. Anyways back to the positives. Everything else I've had here was awesome and they have really good drinks too. Cute place inside. Would recommend a visit

We haven’t been here for years but we’re so happy we went back because it was great. The food, the patio, the staff, was all excellent. It’s one of the best patios in Guelph right now. We decided to get a few appetizers for our dinner so we could try the great options and everything was delicious. It’s a great place for couples or families and we will dine here again for sure.

Nice quaint little place! Our server was so nice, and we really dig the atmosphere (pun intended). Good cocktails, my wife liked the Apple Pie cocktail and my sister-in-law enjoyed her espresso martini. I had a beer from Wellington. They have about 5 beer selections on tap but good choices of local craft beer! My recommendation at this place will always be Wellington if you're a beer person. Food was nice and fresh. I ordered the jerk chicken tacos which were loaded with flavour, only complaint was it was a little soggy and messy, but still tasty. And personally I'm not a salad guy so just not a fan of the side selection. My wife got the Tofu Bahn Mi which she absolutely loved. And my sister-in-law ordered the Goat Cheese and Beet Salad which she said filled her craving. Prices were very fair here too.

What is going on with this restaurant. It was one of our favourites but the service was slow and the server really had no idea what she was doing. After being told they could only make gluten free pizzas as they were out of regular dough ( pizza is half your menu,, to run out of the dough, seriously)I ordered the Atmosphere salad and then the Rigatoni with sausage as an add on. My salad came with sausage on it??? Come on! Then we ordered a port and the bartender had no idea where the bottle was. We ordered another one and they were out of that one. We ordered a third and they were out of that too. The people working there tonight were not professional at all. Atmosphere you can do better!!!

Before I write this, I should note that I'm not one to go out of my way to write reviews, but this restaurant is a hidden gem. I came here with my friend today and we split the daily soup (Mushroom soup or something) as well as the Ratatouille Pizza. We finished off with a Black Cherry NY Cheesecake. All of the food looked and tasted delicious. Staff was all very nice and food was delivered relatively quickly (although we did go on a Wednesday afternoon, and it was almost empty at the time). The restaurant had a great atmosphere with nice lighting. Would definitely dine again!

Atmosphere Café in Guelph was the perfect spot for a September lunch. The outdoor patio is spacious, with plenty of shade, creating a relaxed environment. The menu is fresh and playful; we tried the Poke Cups, Superfood Salad, and Smoked Salmon on a bagel, and everything was super tasty, vibrant, and served by friendly, smiling staff. Inside, the café is a blend of hip and elegant design. A fun detail is the five creatively named bathrooms: Earth, Fire, Water, Wood, and Metal. I highly recommend Atmosphere Café—it's a feast for both your stomach and your senses!

Absolutely outstanding food and service! Every dish at Diwa Classic Indian Cuisine bursts with authentic flavour — you can really taste the care and tradition in their cooking. The butter chicken and lamb curry are both perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the naan comes out soft, warm, and fresh every time. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere feels welcoming whether you’re dining in or picking up takeout. Easily the best Indian food in Guelph — Diwa never disappoints!

I had a great time at Diwa Indian cuisine. The food was absolutely amazing,period. The service was great and it was very well maintained and high class. All in all, some of the best India cuisine I've had.

thoroughly impressed. I ordered Bhindi Masala, Dal Makhani, and Methi Matar Paneer, along with a basket of naan and lachha paratha — and every dish was outstanding. Dal Makhani was rich, creamy, and full of flavor — you could tell it was slow-cooked with love. Bhindi Masala was perfectly spiced and not the least bit slimy, which is a sign of great technique. Methi Matar Paneer had a unique balance of creamy texture and the slight bitterness of fresh methi that paired beautifully with the sweetness of peas. The naan and lachha paratha were fresh, soft, and just the right amount of buttery. The service was friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. Portion sizes were generous, and the flavors felt authentic and homemade. Highly recommended for anyone craving hearty and flavorful Indian cuisine!

One of the best indian restaurants in city of Guelph. I WOULD SAY THE BEST ONE. The taste is very authentic. Dali makhani and Garlic naan was simply amazing. Cheetah beer is very good. My son and I tried Diwa last night for the first time. I was immediately impressed by the overall look of the decor. The hostess was attentive to my questions about ingredients (re: allergies) and walked me through the menu so I could pick appropriate items. The server confirmed the amount of spice that we wanted before sending our order to the kitchen. The food arrived quickly and was hot and fresh tasting. Everything was delicious! The mango lamb was particularly good. My son thought the vegetable pakoras were very good, too. The price was a bit higher than some other places, but the food was also much better than the other places. Very happy we decided to try Diwa!

Diwa is very nice restaurant to visit. Really like the environment and the soft Indian/Pakistani music playing in the background. Staff is always very courteous and nice. The food is very authentic and I always enjoy going there. They also have lunch buffet which has variety of items. Some times they run short of space, so if you are planning to go in a group then do reserve in advance. Highly recommended in Guelph.

Food was very great, one of the best for Indian food in the city! I would recommend butter naan, malai kofta and the Amritsari fish pakora. I couldn't wish for more and the service was top tier. We waited about 10 minutes for a table and the same for food. Overall it was very good and we will definitely be visiting again.

I want to give this restaurant 5 stars because it was super cute. A quaint old house, a wonderful server and the “experimental” aspect of the menu was fun. However, the food really wasn’t that great. I ordered the enchiladas and they were dry and had a very strange flavour. My Caesar salad was so garlicky I could barely eat it - and I love garlic! My husband ordered the burger and it was “forgettable” according to him. The experimental drink was a fun touch. The peanut butter cheesecake for dessert was delicious and the best part of our meal. I would definitely give it another shot in the summer to experience the patio, order an experimental drink and eat that cheesecake again though!

I was excited to try this place and loved the fact that it's in an older house on a side street. The decor is very nicely kept with the style of house and namesake. The only issue was that the cornbread was very bland and the same with the squash ginger soup. The chicken wrap was tasty, and the salad was good. The service was great. Make sure to call ahead for reservations as it's a very busy spot, and walk-ins can be accommodated if seats are available.

Wonderful patio seating and friendly staff even though she was super busy. Lots of gluten-free and vegetarian choices. Delicious corn bread.

Our family went there last night for my uncle’s 60th birthday. We had been a couple of times before and wanted to go back for the atmosphere. It’s such a cute spot, especially in the summer. No issues with the waitress, she was friendly. The food is where it gets confusing. Smelled great. Looked great. Portions were large. We all got different dishes; soup of the day, dinner special, burger, pastas, portobello chicken, wraps and salad. My chicken was erring between cooked and not. It was weird to chew. I ended up taking it home to reheat and cook a bit longer. But out of 9 guests that attended last night, 7 of us have had really upset stomachs. Time ranging from an hour after eating to symptoms appearing this morning. Don’t get me wrong, I really do enjoy this place, and totally recommend it… if the kitchen staff working last night really stepped up to the plate. Not cool.

Wonderful food, service, and ambiance. First time here despite living in Guelph for decades and so happy I chose Einsteins. The portions were big and the food is fresh and absolutely delicious. Our server was kind and patient and made us feel at home. Looking forward to the next visit.

A cozy atmosphere with great service and food. We even got complimentary cookies (still warm from the oven) because our server overheard that it was my birthday :) Ordering ‘Einstein’s creation’ was also a lot of fun since you don’t know what the chef will be making for you and it’s always amazing and memorable! We will be coming back here again!

We had a group of 5 for lunch, our waitress was very helpful and everyone enjoyed their meals. Will be back again!

I am not usually one to write reviews but with this location reopening, I had to share my feedback. I asked for a bagel with cream cheese & butter and this is what I received. After leaving, I went BACK to ask for more cream cheese and this was the “more cream cheese” given to me. The shop was very dark, not many lights on to give it a warm & welcoming ambiance. A bit disappointed to learn that the owners were also present while this occurred and didn’t really seem to care. We were very excited to see that this location was reopening but to be honest, we won’t be back. I think they rushed the opening and sadly did not execute.

Stopped here to kill some time before a meeting - got the vegetarian open-face sandwich and the cold brew banana protein smoothie. The staff was very pleasant, and the music was nice. Everything was clean inside the cafe. The chef brought the sandwich to my table, it was delicious! The smoothie was also amazing - I probably didn't need this much food, I'm so full.

This place surprised me! I assumed that their desserts were going to be the usual unimpressive coffee chain desserts. I was wrong. Wow, their almond cookie was amazing! Don't miss this one! This place was hopping with customers. They have fair trade and organic products. They encourage eco-friendliness. Vegan/Gluten Free: They have desserts for you! Non coffee drinkers: They have a raspberry hot chocolate and hot apple cider! Bakery items: They source their bakery items either exclusively or mostly from two bakeries. Noise level: It isn't super quiet, and it isn't loud. Dining options: Indoor or takeout.

I don’t normally give negative reviews…and I am hoping that with more training that the food and coordination of service improves. I was once a regular at the original Planet Bean. I ordered breakfast and some baking. I only ate the two small pieces of bacon (which were tasty), the very dry, small serving of flavourless, cold “scrambled eggs” and I could not eat any of the $4.00 cold, hard, unseasoned potato wedges. There was no salt or pepper visible…I was too tired to get up and ask..after 3 trips to the till and counter just to get our order and pay the bill. The baking was overrated as local and high quality ingredients…at $5.00 per small muffin..and a lemon square with a rock hard bottom crust…another $5.00. When I needed sugar and cream for tea and coffee…they had run out…and did not know where there as sugar …I spotted a bowl of sugar on their inside counter…and then I used it ….The tea and coffee were good, once we found the cream and sugar!! Overall it as a disappointing experience. At the till, the cashier and the “cook” were not able to clarify the bill…it took a full 5 min. to get to an agreement. I would recommend that they get an experienced manager and cook to train the staff. Without this, I fear their food options may put people off. I really hope this place will improve…so that I can enjoy being a regular customer. The young women at the till was friendly and kind.

The revamped locale seems to leave much to be desired. The croissant was one of the worst I’ve ever had - and I’ll tolerate a mediocre one and get some enjoyment out of it… but this was so stale and tasteless. For $5 no less! You can get the best one in town (at Polestar) for less. Won’t be returning.

So glad Planet Bean is open again! But when I walked in the vibe is a little stark? Grey and white walls? No plants? Hoping to see some life injected into this local institution. The addition of a breakfast and lunch side kitchen is smart with the train station and City Hall nearby. I had the ciabatta breakfast bun - good! Could use tomato and lettuce though. Hoping for good things from Planet Bean!

My boyfriend and I went for all you can eat. I have a Gluten Allergy and our server was SO ACCOMMODATING! She went through the entire menu with me and told me what I can and cannot have. She knew which sauces had in wheat and which rolls had in imitation crab or were topped in tempura. She got the kitchen to take out certain things out of the rolls so I could eat them. AND they had gluten free soy sauce. I felt very safe eating here. Thank you to the entire staff!

Food: good taste, but sushi roll was messy. Service: server was a little awkward, but kind and helpful. Atmosphere: average cleanliness, pop music, led lights, fairly empty at 4:00 on Sunday.

Food was very enjoyable; However, I found the service could use improvement. I do think that the pricing is a bit expensive, however most of the sushi restaurants in Guelph follow similar pricing. Overall, I still recommend this restaurant if you are craving sushi and don't mind spending some money.

It was quite busy on St Valentine’s Day: almost all tables were occupied and a huge take out. All menu are set on the tablets. All you can eat is 42 per person. They have a good variety of rolls, salads, soups, noodles, tempura. Not everything we ordered hit the table, I don’t know why. As such only 4stars. Not all orders look the same as on the menu. As such 4 stars. Washrooms to be better maintained. Minus 1 star.

This sushi restaurant totally blew me away! The ingredients are incredibly fresh—the salmon melts in your mouth, and butter fish is rich and buttery. The sushi chef’s skills are top-notch, with perfectly seasoned rice that complements the fish flawlessly. Must-tries: their crispy cheese salmon roll and salmon sushi—so sweet and creamy, it’s unforgettable! My favorite sushi place for sure! I honestly couldn't give it a 5* till now because of the poor service on our previous experiences, but our last Sunday early dinner clearly wiped off all the bad memories. Tip: don't go during their peak hours, servers get distracted and tend to forget to come by. Now most important part of all, the food is always crazy fresh and delicious. Try to keep away from the deep fried items (tempura anything) or at least try a small portion before filling up your table with them, frying oil wasn't very fresh on our last trip there. Even with these little "off" bits, they still get my 5*!!

My wife recommended we try this place and when I saw vegetarian restaurant I was nervous. I went there and with the help of someone ordered various items to have lots to try. While I waited I enjoyed a tea and then brought the food home. All I can say is WOW!!!!!! The flavours, the spices, it was absolutely amazing!!!! We had so many leftovers, the prices were great and I can't wait to go again and eat there to enjoy the beautiful restaurant. This is a must try restaurant.

We always have been catered our party food from Kirtida’s kitchen. Hiteshbhai make sure we get exactly what and how we ask our food to be. We loved every dishes so far we have got it from him and they have never disappointed us. They have player and continued making big contributions to all our successful parties and events we have hosted. I strongly recommend you Kirtida’s kitchen for catering delicious Gujarati, Punjabi traditional dishes.

Had a lovely vegan and gluten free dinner with friends. Love the new dining room on Edinburgh road. They were even able to make the paneer dishes with tofu to make everything vegan!!! Highly recommend.

There was a metal STAPLE in my food!! We ordered through uber eats delivery, and when we removed the lid I saw what I thought was a long piece of an herb or something but it was a metal staple!!! I immediately called the store and the manager was nice but didn’t seem to take the situation with as much severity as I believe it deserves and blamed uber eats, despite the staple being in the food under a plastic covering. He didn’t ask me for any details of where the staple was found, which dish, etc. This is concerning because I’m not confident that 1. They cared, 2. That they checked the rest of their batch of food. It was in the white sauce. I knew I’d have to request a refund through uber eats so I wasn’t calling to ask for anything other than to let them know it happened, and felt very shrugged off. I’ve ordered samosas and apps from here before but this was our first time ordering a meal. Thank god that no one was injured and the staple wasn’t ingested. I’ll never order from here again. Be wary of any food ordered here.

I recently celebrated my birthday, and a friend recommended I order from Kirtida's kitchen. It was excellent, fresh, and delicious. Her quantity is absolutely generous as I ordered the family size of 6-8 for about 10-15 people, and we still had some food left! I absolutely recommend her food, especially if it's a gathering where you're trying to accommodate every dietary restriction of your guests.

So I went to the Boathouse with my family today and we tried the Moose mix (it had mini peanut butter cups, chocolate swirl and vanilla base) and also tried Banana Cream Pie. Overall, the look of the boathouse is super cute with it's pink accents on the exterior as well as interior. I'd definitely give it a solid 9/10. This has become our yearly tradition to get ice cream from the boathouse in summer. This year was no exception! I mostly go for their blueberry cheesecake flavoured ice cream. Two scoops are too much to finish for me though 😛.

My daughter and I went for lunch here. I ordered a breakfast with a scone, fruit, jam,muesli and some tea. It was delicious- all of it. The presentation was lov too. I neglected to take a pic of my food but it tasted as good as it looked. We sat outside and could watch the river while we ate. It was a gorgeous sunny day. The only thing I could've had more of was some shade. There were available tables inside tho and we could have changed if we'd wanted to.

It’s my first time having high tea for brunch and it’s so good! The tea smelled delicious. And so were the sandwiches and the cookies. The fresh flowers were a nice touch. The cute decor and the river view were a plus.

Mediocre experience at the Guelph Boathouse. Afternoon tea (which they wrongly call "high tea") is a total scam at $33.00. You get three sad little white bread sandwiches with uninspired fillings: egg, tuna, and soggy cucumber. One scone with whipped cream (not even clotted cream. That's $2.00 for an upgrade smear of British cream.) and two minuscule desserts, and some fruit and flower garnishes. There’s an upcharge of $2.00 for iced tea or lemonade, and the lemonade tastes like watered-down no name lemonade, definitely not house-made. The indoor space is boiling hot with no working AC or fans, and yucky plastic tablecloths hang over your knees like it’s a bad church basement setup. Honestly uncomfortable. The only redeeming features? A clean bathroom and a pretty outdoor patio with a nice view of the river and bridge. Not worth the price or the sweat. Skip it. Small town mediocrity at its best.

A very cozy place. The waitress very friendly. the menu is wide enough to choose many options. The super fluffy pancakes, the divine omelet as I wanted it. The coffee was fine. Quite crowded to be a weekday in the morning . It does not have wifi, but I would definitely go back for its food.

Standard breakfast fare but the eggs benny was very good and the portions were large and the prices good. The place has a family atmosphere and the servers are very friendly. It was pleasant to dine here. Reservations not required.

I mobile ordered take-out from Vienna this morning and it was tasty. Order eggs over-easy, they had some nice thicker bacon and fried potatoes. Vienna is a classic and I've been there before Covid. They delivered fast (via UberEats) and its been around in Guelph for quite a while. I recommend it!

Amazing schnitzel breakfast. I ordered it with over medium eggs, ham and they also added spinach. The hollandaise sauce is delicious. The coffee served is fair trade which is pretty cool.

I didn't have their famous orange juice so I can't review that but my review is specifically for the breakfast. The turkey sausage wonderful!! But the prize and the portion sizes, wasn't impressive I mean I will rather go somewhere else in guelph for a good breakfast than here. This will my like my 10th option for breakfast.

Highly recommend Toppers Pizza!! Always good pizza, and I love it when a company is actively involved in the community. They donated pizza to our picket line today, which was so appreciated by our members, and really lifted their spirits. It was delicious!!! . As a customer who regularly orders pizza from this location, I can say the pizza is always delicious and consistent. I'm so happy the pepperoni explosion is a permanent menu item! They do not cheap out on toppings here. Cheese is savoury and pepperonis are so flavourful. Also ordered the strawberry cinni-minis. A really tasty sweet treat that is a perfect dessert post-pizza. Inside is clean, service was quick and friendly. A slightly more expensive pizza place, but worth the extra dollars for the jump in taste and quality.

Great pizza - if you always complaint about quantity of toppings, this place is for you. I ordered a medium 4 toppings pizza and it was loaded with toppings. Delicious in taste, I couldn’t find a reason to complaint from food to their restaurant staff.

I came here a while back when we first moved into the city and I remember the pizza being really good and the kids loving it —so disappointed in this time sorry to say, but we likely won’t be back. We stopped in to pick up a quick pizza for the kids. Very disappointed with what we got. The pizza was soggy, not cooked all the way through, had way too much sauce so that the toppings were sliding off, and because of this there was very little cheese left on the pizza. It all fell off. I suppose the pricing was really good, but if the pizza is in-edible, what’s the point. In the last pic, I wiped the sauce off the pizza because my kids were saying that it didn’t taste cooked. It wasn’t. See the pic. When I went into discuss it with the staff at the front counter, they basically told me that the uncooked part was cheese. I had to show her that I lifted off the cheese on the other slice, and wiped away the sauce, and then pulled it — the dough stretched almost 2 inches. It stretched as though it were cheese, but It was the uncooked dough. I’m sure this would’ve made my kids sick. Even after showing them all of that they refused to accept that it was a problem, told me they would check the oven temperature I told them that they were putting too much sauce on the pizza so the pizza would not cook properly. They told me that they have to put that much sauce because the ones in the counter that they sell by the slice will dry out if they do not have enough sauce. Ultimately, they refunded my money, but it made me very leery about coming back. They did not seem to even wanna except that there was something wrong with the pizza. Or that the problem could’ve been caused by how they prepared it.

Damn! This is really the worst pizza ever! They put on too many toppings for a 4 topping pizza and they made it too perfectly well done. I'm absolutely disgusted with how good it tastes and I'll always come back when i visit Guelph. Thanks. We ordered pizza from their website on New Year’s Eve for 6 PM delivery. The pizza showed up exactly at six, hot and ready to go. Can’t comment too much on the atmosphere of the location, but I can say that these people make some super delicious pizza. It was one of the fresher pizzas I had ever had, with the ingredients smell like they had literally just been made to be added to the pizza. The delivery driver was super nice, not pushy at all, and had a great conversation with him. Ended up giving him a great tip. We got deal number five, which was two medium pizzas, a pound of wings, garlic, bread, potato wedges, all for $34.99. Would highly recommend the spot for pizza night with your family.

This place is amazing in terms of price to quality. Also, the wings here are ON POINT! they’re massive. The wedges were really crispy and tasty. The pizza is like pretty standard. Don’t expect it to be amazing but it’s good for what it is. Place has legit deals and the food is exactly what it should be.

I think they ran out of the classic hot sausage and gave me pepperettes chunks instead. Very dissappinted in last order. Wings were alright though. I am considering going back to jumbo 3-1

The Gluten Free pizza is so bad. As someone who has been Gluten free for 2 decades. There is so many better options. You really need to step up your game because whatever brand you are using is foul. Ive never actually thrown out a Gluten free pizza until ordering from here.

Great slices, fair prices. The sauce they use is absolutely delicious. I grabbed some quick dinner for 5 on my first night in Guelph and had to stop back there for a couple more munches during my stay. Thanks for the large, yummy pizza!

Today we tried their hamburger, fries, and gravy. The hamburger and fries were very tasty, even though I personally enjoy my hamburger well done. The fries are wonderfully crunchy, and the gravy… oh my, so delicious!! We typically have their footlong hotdogs which I did miss this time around… it’s really difficult to go to Rocky’s and not have a hotdog; until next time!!!

First time at Ricky's Drive-in since I moved to Guelph last year. We came as per my wife recommendation. Now, I'm kinda mad of why she didn't bring me here before... their hotdogs are amazing, best ones I have ever had. Don't get me wrong, I know many people will say that Costco ones are good. Well, they are, but the don't compare to Ricky's, they are just amazingly delicious... totally worth it Their onion rings are great as well. We had milkshakes... hmmmm, I already want to come back. You ever go to a place your friend works, and they just toss in a couple of cookies because you're friends? That's what this place is like, except I've never been here before. I don't even live in Guelph. And somehow, it feels like I'm home. I've never felt better about a quick serve restaurant. 5 stars. All deserved.

Chris and Spero really know how to take care of their customers. They’re always incredibly kind and remember our names every time we come in. On top of that, they often throw in something extra for free, which is such a thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend this Mr Sub on Silvercreek. Customer service is the best in town!!!!

Service is always great, but the quality of the food has dropped substantially. The chicken is different now with a spice that I personally just do not enjoy, so I opted for pulled pork. What I received was 3 day old pork roast chunks. They were dry, cold and inedible. I contacted the owner a few times with photos and received no response. Disappointed that the issue was not addressed and in turn they’ve lost a loyal customer. ***I’ve reached out 3x via email to the email provided and haven’t even been acknowledged*** Updated: April 17. Contacted by a manager and compensated $20. Tried tonight and opted for chicken(which is still spicy, not roasted) and it was much better. The food quality, and temperature was much more safe and to a standard you’d expect. The service was still great, and I will be a return customer if the pork is actually turned into pulled pork!

Haven't had FB in YEARS and was really disappointed. My partner and I came here and ordered 2 small burritos. They prompted us to pay so we did. They started to make my partner's burrito and I noticed all the ingredients looked like the ingredients someone forgot at the back of their fridge. The corn was from a can, the pico de guillo didn't have any green in it, just old tomatoes and onions, the guacamole was the bottom scraps from the bowl, the roasted peppers and onions were the scrapes as well.. they gave us one piece of a roasted onion. My partner ordered first and once I saw how tiny theirs was I just wanted to cancel mine. They said well let's try it, it's an experience. I ordered a veggie bean burrito and he gave me maybe one tablespoon of black beans, I asked for more. Then he added another, so I asked for more and it was mostly just the black bean water which as you can imagine made my burrito super soggy not even 5 minutes after getting it. He also burnt both of our burritos on the flat top. I do not recommend. We will never return.

Used to be great 8 years ago. Went back again and seems a bit run down and toppings look stale. Most things are frozen/pre-made. If you get queso it’s a tbsp at best for like $2…. Watch them make it, you can see the life slip away before it’s even complete. You realize you’re paying for generic sauce on half a cup of rice, pinch of sautéed veg and quarter cup of processed protein. $15+ please.

I've been ordering burritos from Fat Bastard Guelph for the past 10+ years - this is mine/my kids' favourite place. We were disappointed today, the burritos were mostly over-stuffed with rice. Hardly any discernible toppings/veggies :( Has management changed? Big departure from the "usual" that we're used to.

Be careful asking for noodles in your burrito. They'll give you dried out hard noodles that sat there all day instead of keeping an eye on them and refreshing them once in a while. Felt like I was eating a bunch of hard spaghetti in my food tonight. Disappointed. The food is usually good.

I’m so disappointed I use to always get amazing burritos from this location but now always there terrible today at around 4pm (so dinner or lunch?) I got a burrito with my normal ground beef, noodle refried beans , lots of sauce hot sauce and crunchies!!! It literally tastes like it just has noodles and beef… the beef is like charcoal black cold and has no taste to it and is hard as an rock and AGAIN 95% of my burrito is literally noodles like what??? I have this same order for years and I have never been so disappointed in my burrito. It’s literally disgusting I pulled out like 50% of the noodles just to make the ratio on the burrito a bit better but it’s still nasty.

Ordered through the mobile app. Got to the restaurant, the speaker barley worked, the worker was very rude and said the grill wasnt working and they couldn't make our food and we would get a refund. Stuck in the drive through line for around 25 minutes, got to window asked the worker to make sure we'd get a refund and he very rudely/sarcastically said "did you not hear me i said our service was down" then said "oh now its working" closed the window in my face in the middle of speaking, proceeded to make our order and make us wait another 15 minutes out front for our food. Came out and was missing parts of the order, went to the door to ask for the parts, was ignored and waved off, when the worker finally came to the door he said to go back through the drive through (which mind you was backed up and full) instead of just bringing the sauces he missed to the door. 40 minutes waiting for food and extremely rude condescending service. 0/10 never coming back to this location.

I arrived today in a wet environment and immediately in between the doors there was no wet floor sign or rugs. I fell, I twisted my ankle. I got back up and told the staff that here HAS to be a wet floor sign as the rain is ongoing. They did nothing before I received my order, so I then insisted, as there were more than a few older folks in. It is unsafe. I told them they were going to get sued if they didn't. They put one out. By the time I ate my meal and went to leave, the floor is still wet, and NO WET FLOOR SIGN. If you fall there, feel free to use my review from today. Staff doesn't care. Anyone with a movement disability will struggle on a wet day to open the inner doors without fully wiping out. Seriously unimpressed. Won't be back. Food isn't good enough, or cheap enough to make a dangerous fall worth it.

I wish this wasn’t the only Burger King in Guelph! The person taking our order was friendly, but incredibly slow, I would have been better off ordering at a kiosk. They didn’t have toys for the kids meals, but didn’t even mention it until I asked after I had paid and gotten our food. No apology or anything. The person putting food on our tray got the sides wrong like 3 times. I didn’t say anything - her coworkers told her to fix it each time. The worst part was the overflowing garbage and the fruit fly infestation at the drink station. I am not usually phased by much, but that was disgusting. It’s a shame because the space is great - so much room and nice booths, but it’s ruined by terrible customer service and fruit flies.

Absolutely disgusting experience 🤮. I found a FLY in my drink, which is beyond unacceptable. The onion rings were soggy, cold, and clearly old. If the basics like food quality and cleanliness can’t be maintained, it makes me question the entire kitchen. This place needs a serious health inspection. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Worst Store ever. DONT GO HERE. This is my 3rd/4th experience over here. I asked for fresh crispy chicken sandwich and they gave me re-fried chicken in my sandwich. Horrible. It’s chewy, dry and super oily. They have done similar thing in past. Guys working here think customers are dumb and that we don’t understand difference between fresh chicken and re-fried chicken. This has got to be the worst fast food establishment around . Never have half there breakfast items , always messing up orders . The workers stand in the back, while customers are standing at the counter for 10 plus minutes sometimes . There breakfast hashbrowns are always rock hard and almost break your teeth. Stray far from this location and go else where for just about anything.. rude workers awful service and always out of whatever you order probably because they are to lazy to just make it . Also would not refund me because for my breakfast because I ordered through the app now I have to wait 48 hrs for a email to even see if I get a refund . Ridiculous

I ordered a bacon and cheeseburger. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The burger had fresh ingredients. It was a little too greasy and salty for my preference. However, I still recommend trying Sam's Grill in Guelph.

It’s been a few years and it’s no wonder how this place has kept business when previous shops have struggled. Kind staff and such comfort like food for filling portions and reasonable prices. Recommend the hamburger and pulled pork poutines, and their regular burgers were very good. What stood out were the milkshakes! Perfect balance of sweet with the mango which comes with pulp, and the vanilla was an addictive choice to return to. Eager to try the strawberry and chocolate milkshakes!

It doesn't look like much, but it is clean. Service was prompt and friendly. The food .... we each had a regular burger, which is two patties. I had cheese and bacon on mine and was pleasantly surprised the bacon was crispy. I hate limp, barely cooked bacon, but this was perfect. My husband had poutine and it looked very good. All in all, we had a great meal. I think if we are in the area again, we will return.

Wanted to try something different that wasn't the typical brand named fast food chain. Found Sam's Grill on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did as it was DELICIOUS! I ordered combo #4 which included a drink, homemade burger and a poutine. I decided to also add cheese and bacon to my burger because we'll, why not! The burger was made fresh and was very juicy. The poutine was also really good and cheesy. Overall very happy with my lunch decision. Highly recommend and will definitely return (and maybe even try the other locations)

Massive language barrier trying to order / ask questions about the menu. I usually wouldn't care, I totally get it. But it took three attempts, with the total being much higher than what I was trying to order the first two times. Side poutine in the combo is way smaller than what is pictured on screen. Pretty misleading. Food was good with a smaller than expected portion.

My friend and I went in order to the poutines the fries were stale, and the gravy was really watery and flavorless. There was not that many cheese curds not even a handful of them. The price was way too much for the smallest size and you’re not getting good quality either. This is my first time because I’ve had a bunch of people. Tell me how good it was. I’m very disappointed.

So we went to order which was fine, there was a mini monster fridge on the counter we asked for a small monster (there were big ones in the regular drink fridge) and she told us the small ones weren’t for sale? That was fine we got a big one. She told us it would be 5-7 minutes for our poutines, it was about 20 minutes. When we got them they were stone cold, but tasted ok just cold. So they took them back, pretty sure they just microwaved them. Then when we got them back- my poutine was now soup. Just drowned in gravy. The fries were mush. Such a bad experience I remember when smoked to be the best poutine place. Wont be going back.

Came in on a while today to give Smokes a try again, had not been to one in ages. Tried the buffalo chicken poutine in meal size and had cheese sauce added on. As soon as I came in I was treated right away with a friendly welcome and some warm, light conversation, was a nice surprise! 😁 Food came out hot and fresh, and looked great, loved the flavour of the sauce on everything, the chicken pieces were crispy but not overly done or feeling like they've been sitting for a while and the green onion slices were a nice addition. Great presentation, lovely flavours and friendly, approachable service, would recommend giving them a look at!

I haven't been to smoke's since the early days in Toronto and after this gross experience I won't be back. It's mid-afternoon on a Sunday and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the previous night's drunken crowd likely came through. The soap dispenser emitted some sort of black goo - not soap. And the food - yikes. Highschool cafeterias make better poutine than this. The service was ok and I notified the staff member about the bathroom situation but caution should be used before going to this place.

I think overall it's okay. There's some flavors that are bang on, but it wasn't the case with my Butter Chicken. There was a hint of it. The location was clean and pretty empty during lunch. Follows the brand but kinda felt removed and not quite cozy. My fries gotnsoggy really quick. Couldn't save some for later and tossed what I couldn't consume. Will probably order the small size next time!

The first time trying the Honey BBQ chicken and it was absolutely amazing. However the chicken can only be enjoyed fresh and is not that juicy. Becomes extremely dry if eaten as leftovers and expensive when compared to the other fried chicken chains

Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters is fantastic! The chicken is crispy and flavorful, and the taters are perfectly seasoned. The ambience is warm and welcoming, making for a great dining experience. Highly recommended!

We have been to this location a few times and the service is always fantastic! We started going here in the summer when the chicken wraps were available, and I was so disappointed that they were taken off the menu. We finally tried the fried chicken and HOLY COW. It’s so good. I would never even think of ordering KFC ever again. We got the Batters Box, and the food was so good and fresh, and there was so much for $20!! We even made a second meal out of it. Thanks for the great food, we will be back.

Downtown Guelph McDonald's I recently visited the downtown Guelph McDonald's location and felt compelled to share my experience. I’m writing this review because I genuinely do like McDonald’s—I always have—and I would miss them if they changed and became somewhere I stopped going to. Unfortunately, the atmosphere during my visit was unwelcoming, and the staff did not appear friendly or engaged. There was a noticeable lack of warmth or customer service that one would typically expect from a McDonald's restaurant. This isn’t an isolated experience. I’ve noticed this occurring over the past few months—perhaps even longer—but it’s certainly hit home recently. No specific incident occurred, but the general demeanor of the employees gave off the impression that customers were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. They’ve simply stopped smiling. That alone may indicate a deeper issue—whether it’s low morale, understaffing, or a lack of leadership attention. It’s disappointing, as this location has the potential to offer quick service with a smile—something many people appreciate in a fast-food setting. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the pastries have been stale on a couple of occasions. Unfortunately, because it’s fast food and you typically don’t check until you’re on your way or already home, you end up discovering the issue too late to do anything about it. This may seem like a small point, but consistency and freshness are important, especially when customers have little recourse in those moments. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve staff training and morale. Friendly, attentive service should be a standard, not an exception.

Made a pitstop at this McDonald’s on the way home from a 3 hour drive. The manager was outstanding. We greeted us with a smile, brought our food to our table, came and asked if we needed anything such as ketchup, brought the kids colouring materials. I then watched her go to every table to see if customers needed anything. This lady needs a raise! She looked like she really enjoyed her job and being in a customer service role. 10 stars!

Food is always cold. Fries should be hot. Fry containers should be full. My order is never right. Have to ask for ketchup that is never in the the bag. They will also make sure they don't give a receipt, so customer's can't prove the order is wrong. Customers should never have to ask for a receipt. Your employees are incompetent and ignorant. If I ever have one of your employees talk back to me again, I will be contacting head office and will make sure they don't have a job.

I was looking for a specific Happy Meal toy and the workers asked which one I needed. I told them and they were able to find it for me really quickly. I feel like they went above and beyond, especially when compared to other McDonalds in the area. The staff was friendly here and the food was good. They made a child very happy to be able to complete their Happy Meal collection.

Hi there, I'm really disappointed—yet again—with my recent delivery. I'm less than 5 minutes away from the location, and somehow the food still arrives stale and clearly old. It’s obvious this isn’t freshly made, and it’s frustrating that you think customers can’t tell the difference. McDonald’s is supposed to taste fresh, and frankly, there’s no excuse for sending out food that’s been sitting around. If it’s a policy to pack old food for delivery, then it seriously needs to be re-evaluated. Also, I ordered three kids meals—and you sent the exact same toy in each one. That makes no sense. When multiple kids' meals are going to the same household, why would you assume kids are fine getting the same toy? They're not. It's lazy and inconsiderate. Please do better. This kind of service is unacceptable.

Ordered the food from the drive through . The customer service was excellent . She got the order right from the 1st time . Line was a bit busy and slow but the food quality was great.

This location use to be good in service and cleanliness not any more. They take long time in drive thru, no point of ordering in APP when you will be told to go park and wait ,even then you have to go inside to ask where is my order. Inside is now always dirty bathrooms are filthy, 3 years back everything was great now its horrible.

This restaurant has gone downhill significantly in the past few years. Service times are terrible, you will almost always have to park after ordering in the drive through. If you use a mobile order spot, I hope you brought a book. Today was my last straw. They gave me a breakfast burrito, where someone tried to cover up the sticker saying it was prepared 5 days ago. The burrito was dry and I was not willing to risk eating it. Relabelling best before dates is illegal in Canada. Please do better

My server Ian was 100% outstanding! Very polite, helpful and he smiles!!! This young man shines and you actually get true honest customer service from him! The meal was good but Ian's kindness stood out!!!

I have been here about 15 times since moving here 6 years ago and it has a 100% fail rate on getting the order correct. I suggest going in to order and checking your bag before leaving lol. Update Dec 9- this place still sucks. I paid $23 for this order though Uber eats and they missed half of the ingredients, how does this happen?!

There shouldn't be any toppings on the outside of the wrapping that fall off when you open the item, and there shouldn't be any iced coffee on the top of the cup that also falls off and ruins your clothes. Happens all the time here kind of annoying but they are fast at least

Ordered from skip the dishes- I ordered a veggie mucho sized burrito and it was 95% rice. I ordered almost all toppings (paid extra) and there were only like 5 veggies actually in there, and there were no sauces so it was dry. I kept hoping that it was just all bundled up but I ended up taking it apart and there was still just more rice. Don’t waste your money.

This place served me a 100% raw crispy chicken torta sandwich. When I called to see if they can help a customer who has purchased a meal from them all I got back from them was you have to come in to the store, meanwhile there is a reason why I ordered in. The franchise is all away across town. Needless to say this place will never get my business again dude to the customer service they have in the place. NEVER AGAIN!

I stopped at this location, for a regular veggie burrito. The portions were not reasonable. The salsa tasted bad. Pickled onions were disgusting. Overall the worst experience...I threw my Burrito away. On top of that, the short brown guy in the green shirt made my burrito with no gloves on. When I told him to put gloves on, he said the burrito is already made so there is no point now. Ridiculous. Not returning to this place again.

This place has delicious fresh ingredients. The way the burritos are made is next level! I really appreciate the fact that they mix up the ingredients before rolling your burrito so there is a bite of everything each time!! Soooo yummy! Getting hungry again just writing this review!

I have been going to this location for a long time and as if recent I have noticed they put absolutely little in the burrito. I got a regular sized burrito, but only half scoop of chicken? It’s like when they are putting the toppings in they are told to put little on purpose. Even the sauce was little. Not a good luck for a restaurant, unfair to the customer to be paying 14 dollars for a half sized meal. I understand a price increase but at least I would know what i am getting.

I've been to this location and other Muchos a few times over, and on my most recent visit a few days ago I had one of the best burritos of my life. That's saying a lot. I have been around, to many a burrito place, and people who know me know that I love burritos. The one I had at this Mucho was easily top 5. Perfect heat (both temperature and spicy), and a perfect mix of ingredients. 10/10.

The quality of Mucho Burrito has gone down so far since they got started when I was a teenager. It just tasted gross and there aren’t as many options for toppings or sauces as competitors. I think my experience today will be my last time eating at a mucho burrito cause it wasn’t good, like at all. Only reason it’s getting 2 stars is because the guy who made my burrito was really friendly.

I’ve been going to this location for a long time and they always make delicious pizzas. When I came to grab an order we discovered they made an error with toppings. Navpreet offered to make me a new pizza, but I was fine with the mistake. She even offered for me to call them if I wasn’t happy after bringing it home so they could make it right. I’d say that’s some great service! 10/10

The food is so good but the lady they have taking orders over the phone in there makes it so painful to place an order and by the time you finish ordering you are so irritated you no longer want the food. The owner usually takes over for her. I understand training absolutely by all means but she has been there atleast 3months now. The food is super good and cheap that's why we order here

I rather enjoy this pizza and I have never had an issue with them so far. Their Garlicbread with Cheese is pretty solid also. I ordered 1 large pepperoni with xtra cheese and a garlic bread with cheese and it came up to just under $24.00 with me picking it up but they're like a 2min drive from my place so thats no issue. Sometimes the girl on the phone can have an issue due to the language barrier but in person she's understandable. Bad phone connection at times I guess.

We always order from here and it’s usually a great spot. However, the last two times we have requested extra tomato sauce and received barely enough. Not sure what’s changed? If the extra sauce is an up charge I’d gladly pay…we prefer our pizza with lots of your good sauce, not dry and doughy. Thanks

Pizza was a disgusting mess when it arrived -it slid all over the box. The driver gripped about having to wait and then come downstairs for two seconds. The dessert is missing the dip…this for $72….??? Disgusting. You owe us a full refund for this. Shame on you and I strongly encourage everybody to take note of the photos, and my experience, then decide where you want to eat.

We ordered 2 large specialty pizzas June 28th. The order after tax was >$40 dollars. The pizzas were soggy, under cooked, and had poor quality ingredients. I complained to head office and they absurdly said they would offer a $20 coupon for more pizza. No refund, no equivalent credit. What a joke. There are so many other good pizza places to choose from, don’t waste your money. The quality has gone straight down, cheap ingredients. I offered to send the 90% uneaten pizzas back to them. No response. The meat looked like roadkill!

Service was slow and unhelpful. The staff at the other Guelph location is a lot faster and more helpful. This store won’t even hand you a bag for your takeout pop and dips. The Silvercreek location has it all ready for you in a bag when you arrive.

Ordered for the first time and got 2 pizzas and wings. The pizza was decent for the price but the wings tasted awful. The chicken didn't taste right, inedible for us.

The cashier used his hand, take the money and then he used his hand to put cheese on the pizza. They also serve me a cold slice even though I ask them to make it well done

Friendly staff. Only one size of drink (med i guess) no ice cream no floats. $53 for 2 burgers and a Code burger. Very accommodating for our order. No issue having the coleslaw from the Cod Burger put on the side. I guess you probably would have cost us about the same place at any other fast food place but the food was good the fries were excellent the onion rings were excellent and the burgers were fantastic

I’ve been picking up lunch from this location for months, always through the drive-through. Unfortunately, the service has been consistently disappointing. The person taking the order often comes across as rushed and unfriendly, making the experience feel unwelcoming. I’ve also noticed that I never receive a receipt or napkins with my order, which I used to overlook since I typically eat at my office. However, today was the last straw. I was heading out for a site visit and needed my meal ready to go. After placing my order, I received my food, and before I could even ask for napkins, the drive-through window was shut in my face. When I knocked and called out, the staff member simply walked away while on her phone. This repeated lack of courtesy and attention to basic service expectations is frustrating. I truly hope management addresses this, as it’s disappointing to see the same poor service over and over again from the same staff member. M editing my review as I just about to eat my burger and it’s cold. Not even re-heated.

Always lovely going to this A and W location. It's clean, always well stocked in straws, napkins, etc. The staff are always friendly. I forgot to get the name of the young woman who took my and my friend's orders, but she was very friendly and personable. She brought our food over to the table - maybe not the biggest deal, but it was a really nice gesture. And of course, the food was delicious. Crispy fries, fresh veges on the burgers, and we'll seasoned onion rings.

Had a Teen Burger and some sides at A&W — everything was absolutely delicious! The kitchen and front staff were so friendly and welcoming, it made the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to come back again!

Food was cold and tasteless and $40 for two burgers. I will never be back .

I’m writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit. The girl taking orders—an Indian girl, if I’m not mistaken—was extremely rude from the moment we approached the counter. We waited for a long time just to place our order, and when she finally came to take it, she was in such a rush. She didn’t even give us a chance to finish speaking or explain what we wanted. When we tried to add an order for a turnover pie, she abruptly cut us off and said it would take 9 minutes. We politely said we were okay to wait, but she responded with a rude attitude and gave us a very unpleasant look, as if we were bothering her. This type of customer service is completely unacceptable. As customers, we expect to be treated with basic respect and courtesy. Her behavior made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. If this is the standard of service your staff provides, especially from someone who represents your business at the front counter, it’s truly disappointing. I hope this issue will be addressed properly so other customers don’t experience the same kind of treatment.

Made me wait 4 minutes to order while she was on the phone, overcharged me, undercooked food, plastic wrapper in one of the burgers

The burrito was fresh, packed with flavor, and perfectly wrapped. The ingredients tasted high quality—juicy meat, fresh veggies, and just the right amount of spice. Super filling and satisfying. Definitely coming back for another one!

Very friendly owner and the food is delicious and fairly priced. So many options to choose from.... Burritos, bowls and tacos. Today I tried the fish for the first time and the lime crema... Both were fantastic. I usually get tacos and have never been disappointed. Everything is great and take my advice and get the extreme chips!!!! I absolutely recommend this place and will return many many times.

While I normally really enjoy barburrito and have been to this location before, this time I got a bowl and it gave me intense stomach problems about an hour after I finished it. This persisted for the rest of the night. The food tasted fine when I ate it so not sure if it was maybe a sanitary issue or the food was old as I went in around 9pm but not a pleasant experiance!!

I like to give score to the places based in food, services and facilities, so to be fair, the hamburgers are good, nothing really special but not bad either, the place was clean but is not confortable, just a place to eat and go, the improvement area is the service. First, they need someone who can speak English, Indian accent is harsh to understand, and the problem with indian people, they don't even bother to make any effort to be clearer even if they are working in service area so The service was bad, not even a hello from the staff. Also, it seems that any question i was asking, it was annoying to him. Also, the service is slow. I do not recommend this place. Better go to chucks, price is almost the same, and service is way better

I had a fabulous veggie burger at South Street Burger! The flavors were incredible, and the patty was perfectly cooked. Manpreet, the cashier, provided excellent service—friendly and attentive. Overall, a great experience. I highly recommend this spot for anyone craving a delicious veggie option and great service!

Had a coupon come in the mail so thought I would try it out. The one shown in photo is a Build Your Own Burger which turned out pretty great (my food photography could use some work lol) There are a lot of toppings to choose from including fried chicken, caramelized onions, sauted mushrooms and a good selection of sauces. The food was pretty good but prices are a bit high (coupon helped though!)

My online order included a 2 for 1 poutine but they seemed to just split one poutine order and package it in 2 containers. Really disappointed on the price and value. Picture included in this review shows the poutine before I started to eat it. Additional note June 16th - the email in their response to my review doesn't seem to work. I get a notification of non-delivery. What a joke.

Refused to honour South Street stamp voucher, also the supervisor called Aman, came across very aggressive for some reason? Wouldn’t recommend this location, it didn’t seem particularly clean either. Definitely if you’re ordering, choose a different South Street.

Quick service, fresh ingredients, and everything can be customized to your liking! I was impressed with the burger that I got and would recommend if someone is looking for a good burger spot for takeout.

The staff at this location are amazing. Especially this Thursday overnight there was a beautiful and genuine East Indian fellow that was beyond nice and helpful. These people are truly a credit to our community. Anyone that may think different I wish I could give you my contact info to talk to me in person. People love to complain. It’s in their nature. However we should all be thankful of these McDonalds employees and their service. They kept us all going during Covid and they did it with heart. They feed our police force which protects our city. They are well respected and part of this community going back years and years. I worked at the old one on woolwich near Woodlawn ( Walmart ) and my son was a team leader at stone road as well ( Lukis Riley ) Anyways I could go on but from the days of Grant Ford to the present owners and the McDonalds corporation itself on behalf of my family. I was feeling a bit low, so I decided to cheer myself up with a frappe from the drive-thru. When I paid and asked for a receipt, the attendant told me to grab it from the second window. As I pulled up and got my order, they handed me… ketchup. I was so confused! I asked why, and they said, ‘You asked for it.’ I couldn’t help but laugh — who asks for ketchup with a frappe? 😂 It completely caught me off guard in the best way and had me laughing for a solid 15 minutes. Honestly, it made my whole day. Great service and an even better unexpected laugh!

Nice clean and updated McDonald’s. I am pretty sure this one is the oldest in Guelph (correct me if I’m wrong) I came here when I was a toddler. The parking lot is super tight especially for people going into drive through. I’ve seen the line go out to the road. Inside is clean, well kept. Went for breakfast and ordered through kiosk. Everything was smooth as it should be.

This Mac Donald’s branch is fast moving always has tough in stock. The staff is friendly take order very fast and keep the queue moving quickly. I regularly visited and would recommend it to anyone.

Food is always great but had a really poor experience with the manager. My friends and I came to this location to enjoy the awesome game day meal they have. We placed our order at 9:12pm. When it came, the manager said we had to eat somewhere outside because dine in was closed. Nowhere does it state that dine in is closed from 9 to 10. Not on the website. Not in the store. Not anywhere. And then she decided to argue with me. Trust me, I’ve worked my share in customer service and I know how bad it can be to deal with a bad customer. But this was not this. I strongly believe we were in the right. At least tell us that dine in is closed at 9 or state it somewhere before we order.

0/10, DO NOT RECOMMEND. No tomatoes. No ice. Cold popcorn chicken. Cold fries. We are the only customers and there are 3 dirty tables, all the best seats of course. They would not sell an individual gravy to my fiancé; advertised for $1.49, and said we could not have it because it's ONLY for add-ons to meals, even though we had bought food already. So she said it was going to be expensive.

I've never been partial to KFC, because it's usually way too greasy, but this take out experience was quite good. I've gotta say though...I sure do miss the nostalgia of the green coleslaw. I mean, the stuff you serve now tastes the same, but without the green, it's just not Kentucky Fried Chicken!

The worst. Under staffed payed for food at the store kiosk. Was told it was never received and would take 2-3days to see a refund. In all spent 16 dollars left hungry and empty handed. Save your money. Timel. Eat elsewhere. Brutal customer service.

Where are they keeping the other half of the chicken thighs. Why are they taking the chicken thigh bone out of a chicken thighs and half the meat. It seems this is all across Canadian KFC's. You pay for a whole thigh but you only get half of it there's more meat on the chicken drumstick than there is the thigh now. No one seems to have the answer to this question. $10.72 for a three-piece combo. doesn't seem worth it now. Especially when you're paying for a whole piece of chicken you only get half of it. That top piece is the thigh.

Standing here almost 15 minutes to get a very small order of two snack items . Hire more people if you have such a large amount of delivery or Uber eats orders. It’s ridiculous.

I got a deal of 4 tenders, 2 popcorn, 2 fries today and since I saw they were having problems with the customer before me I figured I should check. The deal was for 2 people, but they threw everything on top of each other in box and right away I noticed there was only 1 popcorn chicken so I walked back from the car and told her so she went back to get me another one. I also checked under everything and realize they gave me 1 and a corner of a tender instead of 4 pieces so she went back again and gave me 2 little ones to add and never replaces the corner which is not even a piece. My kids like the tenders but it's a matter of luck you might get a crusty corner or an actual piece you never know what you get. I told her those are not pieces and she said sorry and kept staring at me. I said you're not sorry because you're not doing anything about it and just kept staring at me. The staff at Wellington location has been horrible for the past few years and they keep hiring people that just don't care.

I've got Mediterranean and chicken ceasar pizzas, and cheese to the second one (see a Pic) - it's delicious, unique and different to other you ate. Fully recommend to check it out

Ordered off of Skip the Dishes, the pizza took an hour and a half to get here and I live right down the street. I called a few times concerning it, the customer service is really good! They promised another pizza and a different driver, considering that when the original pizza got here, it would be cold. When the pizza did get here, it was REALLY good! I think it’s worth the wait. They need to work on delivery drivers though, priority with deliveries in the future please.

The pizza and wings were at the perfect temperature for a take out. A small business. A variety of pizza selections to choose from. The prices were affordable. I ordered the finest works pizza and the breaded wings. The medium hot sauce for the wings wasn't my favourite, would've loved a unique in house sauce :) Give it a try.

Two weeks we ordered take out, panzerottis and Wings were awesome (had to ask for extra sauce ) this was not a problem. Week two ordered two pizzas and Wings they were excellent and hot made this fresh ingredients. Very fresh and delicious! The Best in Guelph... Way to Go Guys..

I have now ordered delivery from here twice. I will again. I really like the very helpful staff.. I order 'triple' sauce [cause that is the way i like it] and they accommodated me - no problem. Prices are good - not the cheapest - but you DO get what you pay for. Lots of yummy stuff on the menu that I look forward to trying on my next order.

A real shame we lost Pizza La Villa for this place… overall the pizza isn’t terrible but what really gets you is the absurd pricing and the terribly small sizing. There’s no X factor to this establishment as far as quality and taste, and they also decide the rebrand well known pizzas with their own name, and correcting you for calling it something other then the name they provide. All in all, I don’t see myself trying this place again.

So, the pizza was bland. Lot's of toppings, but not tasty. Perhaps changing the cheese or pizza ssuce would help. I want this shop to succeed as it is in my neighborhood.

Not a fan of new ownership, new menu, new hours, or new prices. Also if the plan was to re-brand everything and make it your own then start a new google listing also with your own reviews, don't piggy back on Pizza La Villa's success.

I had my first visit to this store and was pleasantly surprised! The warm and tidy atmosphere made for a great experience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and my pizza was ready in no time. I must say, the pizza is absolutely delicious! Definitely worth a visit!

Sign in the shop says always juicy and well done. Ordered 4 burgers. Not only were they not “well done”, 3 of them were pink, but one was visibly red. They were nice enough to replace it, with another burger that was not cooked. Used to be my favourite spot and turned into not going back after this visit.

I live in kw. Thank God. If five guys was in kw, I would be going everyday and I'll weigh 599lbs. Since it's in Guelph, it's a treat once in a while. Went today, bacon cheese burger and Cajun fries. It was delicious. I swear, the first bite you take into the burger, is the best thing in life. My favourite burger. Can't wait to go back in a month or so.

I ordered a regular fry and a Cajun fry. The fries were delicious, crispy, cooked to perfection. This was my second time trying this time, the first time I was very disappointed as the fry portion was very skimpy. This place brags that they give you so many fries. But this time, they were true to their word, and there were lots of fries in my order. I will be back to check out more of the menu.

I am finding it hard to remember why I used to really enjoy this burger spot. Yes, the flexibility in being able to choose toppings is always a win. Grilled onions and mushrooms are my favourite things on a burger. But there are just so many other factors that made this recent Five Guys experience pretty sad. I can’t believe it’s 2023 and combos are not offered. Having to pay for 2 overpriced burger, 1 overpriced fries, and 1 overpriced fountain drink racked up a bill of $40.. that just isn’t right. The fries were greasy and undercooked, but at least they were served warm and fresh— so that’s a win, right? Somehow the burger Pattie’s lacked flavour entirely. Every bite just tasted of bread and cheese. It was like the actual meat lacked any seasoning or flavour all together. After this experience I’m not sure if I will be returning to Five Guys again.

Double cheeseburger with Bacon and the hot dog with bacon and cheese are our go to. 1 regular fry and 1 pop to share as the portions are VERY generous. When we were there, lots of milk shakes were being made and consumed. Highly recommend

Maybe it was an off day when we went. The Dead Sea has nothing on these fries; saltier than a disgruntled ex, we had to wipe the salt off to prevent dehydration. The burgers were fresh as well as the toppings, but other than that not much to praise. The cheese reminded me of Velveeta, I'm sure it wasn't, but it was a detracting factor. The service was great. Smiles (hard to do in the service industry when so many customers are less than friendly) and pleasant staff made the visit enjoyable. It's too bad the food didn't match the awesome staff.

A new place to check out, in a part of town I haven't been to since +/-2016. It was clean, smelt yummy, had a number of people who had placed orders, posters of critic reviews up on the walls. Menu was simple, the staff polite and you could see what they were doing. Everything looked clean. I picked a bacon cheese burger with veggies, and a PB milkshake, which was about $20 plus tax, my better-half got the same burger with pop and French fries. It was listed where the french fry potatoes came from, PEI. While we waited, I checked out the unisex bathroom, could have been cleaner and the tp roll came off the holder, but it did the job. After our number was called, my better-half when picking it up asked about the peanuts on the counter, and was told that people could get a complimentary serving of them while they waited, a great healthy snack, in my opinion. The shake was cold and tasty on a hot day of hiking. The french fry portion was twice as much as I thought we would get for a regular, and tasted great- except for A LOT of salt. We rubbed out as much as possible, and then it was still alot. The burger looked great and the size was filling. It had a new taste I wasn't sure about though, but I ate it all. I would have liked a little more lettuce. The taste of the hot peppers and sauce was missing. Overall it was ok and a day later I am not sick, so that gives them an ok.

I order 2 spicy chicken wraps $8.00 and this is what I received for both of them.. I called to voice my concerns and Chris the shift manager was extremely rude and justifying this is how they are made? Unfortunately this was one of the few Wendy’s that has maintained quality over the years but the last few times I have left felling like I was ripped off.

Stood at the front counter yelling for someone to come out to serve me. Went to go use the washroom can't get in there either nobody around to bring you the key. Nobody in the Drive-Thru just a couple people sitting eating their food and nobody around to serve anybody here. Pathetic

They screwed with my Skip the Dishes order. I ordered a large Dave's combo and they sent a small combo, with a Dave's single. On top of that, the quality of what I received was terrible. Unfortunately, the delivery company won't refund me. So, I paid more for less to get frustrated and keep hungry.

Sean, the manager on Sunday July 6th, asked my why I took a picture of health code violations. When I answered honestly (because I was being nice)“ I’m being asked to review”, he tried to scurry away and whisper “just don’t serve him again”. Sir, if you didn’t have 3 different staff all handling cash, cash register and then food without washing their hands or wearing gloves I wouldn’t have had to document and share it. You might also need retraining. Being ignored and walked away from at the resister twice by two of your front desk employees I was going to over look. Even with a smile they walked away because some sort of insecurity, or lack of proper training. Alas, I’m happy to not be back because of the transpires. Customers are allowed to snap pics of violations . Period. Shouldn’t have been ignored by two ppl prior to you asking me and the only reason I got served at a proper timing by company standards was because I started taking the pics. Thanks the food is actually good tho. So can’t give lower than 3 stars on google. One employee should be handling cash and no food. That’s the standard. Cash and registers are dirtier than toilet seats.

Every time I Uber food from here it’s always fresh regardless of it being delivered or picked up. I’m so extremely satisfied with this service and hope that it continues with it efficiency and quality.

Ordered online. Wendys sent text ready for pickup. We went and order not found, then waited 30 minutes for cold baconators and fries and melted drinks they eventually did find. Drinks were spilt all over our bag with the cold food in it and half full. Extremely disappointing. Do not recommend.

Very good location. Neat and clean. We purchased chocolate cake but was not sure that there was any nuts in the cake. We wanted to exchange. The girl served us with smiles when we first purchased the cake. But when we went there and asked about exchange, they said that there may be no nuts, so we decided to keep the cake. However one staff was not polite. He rudely asked us, “hey! Did you pay?” Overall ok service but customer service is not good. I will not go this store again.

Not worth the price. No strawberries in any sundae. Barely any turtles in the blizzard. What a joke. No one answers the phone. Gross inside. My daughter and I sat inside one day and an earwig crawled across the table. Spider webs above on all the lighting. Bathroom smells like sewage. It's a shame they get away with ripping people off.

Went in with our 13 month old Granddaughter and thought we could share a strawberry sundae. I was refused an extra little cup for her. He kept giving us a drink cup. When i pointed to the little paper cup, he said no, that’s for another sundae. Another lady beside us ordered a small ice cream cone and also requested a cup for her little one. He said no. Terrible.

28$ for two small blizzards a cone and a peanut butter parfait is a bit criminal in my opinion but I suppose it's a once a year indulgence. The service was fast* and friendly. Only complaint is because the kids saw an item online "worms & dirt Blizzard" we had to order it online and then pick it up at the counter vs just ordering it at the counter. I'd have hoped the staff would have offered to just make it so I wouldn't have to do it online but they didn't. Please big corporate conglomerate if you're listening I do not want another app. If it weren't for my kids wanting the special thing, I'd honestly have just left. please don't force people to order special items online if they're at the store. Make it available or not.

In short, I wish I used the drive through. I would have had a 10/10 experience had I not stepped inside. Absolutely DISGUSTING. Management needs to take accountability for the sanitation routine. My feet were sliding apart on the grease like oppositely charged magnets.

We came in with an online gift card for lunch, we were served by Madisyn who was so helpful and made our entire experience outstanding! We bought dilly bars to go home and she helped us with those too! What a wonderful girl, she deserves a raise.

I came for lunch today and the restaurant was absolutely packed. There was a huge line and the staff could not have handled it better. It was fast and they were super professional. The staff was polite. My food was absolutely perfect and to pull that off when there’s almost a lineup out the door is unbelievable. food was great, staff was great and really impressed with how well they handled the Rush today amazing!!

This Pita Pit location is truly the best when it comes to customer service! It’s family-run, and every visit I’m always greeted with a big smile. Louis is especially wonderful - he’ll chat with you like he’s known you for years. Genuine, friendly service like this is hard to come by, and it makes all the difference. If you’re in the area, I can’t recommend this location enough!

Huge shoot out to the crew at Pita Pit, Woodlawn, Guelph, location tonight!!! Phenomenal customer service…. Acknowledged me by name after scanning my points so they knew I got it as well as took my salad ingredients and tossed them all up for me. Have been to MANY different Pita Pits but this is by far the best one yet!! Great food, great service!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

We went to this pita pit unexpectedly and ordered a bowl and a wrap. Both were delicious and generous portions. The man who served us seemed to be the manager/owner and he was very nice. He even gave us a free bottle of water for our toddler. The food was prepared quickly and was fresh. There were many topping options as well. The restaurant was clean. We will be back!

This Pita Pit is better than all of the other ones I have been to. The owners are a family and take pride in their restaurant, they go above and beyond to make customers feel welcome, and the place is immaculately clean. As someone who is on the road frequently, I eat at a lot of restaurants. I have been here twice, and will be coming back, due to the investment that the owners put into the quality of the business. Truly nice to see quality, care, respect and family values again.

This is by far the best pita pit in Guelph and surrounding area! It’s always sparkling clean, with quality and fresh ingredients. You can tell that the owners really care about their business!

I’ve been coming in for a while, always enjoy stopping in. Family owned, owner is always working with his parents and they are always happy to talk with you and you can tell they genuinely care. Restaurant is always super clean and the food always taste amazing. Great atmosphere and great people. 11/10!

When i come this restaurant for pick up for the skip delivery one guy which is working at 500 york road subway, they are only giving priority to the customer which is coming directly to the restaurant.. when i asked for my pickup, ,HE SAID U CAN LEAVE IF U WANT’. It is so rude to have this kind of people at the resturant.. Please give necessary training to these people to give equal priority to skip customers as well..

Walked in here for lunch, no friendly experience just straight to ordering. The person who made my sandwich put next to nothing on it. Both people behind the counter were not friendly at all, even the one cashing me out. In the middle of making my sub the guy disappeared in the back and came back with the same gloves on. To me is just unsanitary. Will not be back to this location

DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!One of the worst subway experience I had in Canada. There was few vegetable even I asked them to add veggies. Customer service was really pathetic. No welcoming or attentive. That’s why 3.5 rating is justified.

I ask him how much the salad, he didn't answer, he said Depends on the salad but I ordered standard small one, and he should to full the bowel of salad, he put a little bit, took all my money. I went there in the morning for a 6 inch sub and they made the sub fine but I asked for a bag to put it in and the guy started arguing that that bag they put cookies in is meant for subs which it's deff to small. Just don't understand why he was trying to argue over a paper bag

I tried various subways, but I really liked the breads from this outlet ad they are fresh and not chewy.

Got takeout here before our movie at the bookshelf and very much enjoyed it! We got two wraps and chicken on the sticks. Everything tasted delicious and the portions were good. The staff was so sweet! A great place for takeout. My only note would be that I asked for extra garlic sauce and I think it got lost in the rush - I definitely would have liked more as someone who likes it very saucy.

Took my son here last night to experience the best Chicken Shawarma in Guelph. He absolutely loved it! It was fresh, made to order and packed with flavour. To top it off...Excellent customer service. We look forward to coming back again!

Had a very wholesome experience at this place. I follow a very strict vegetarian diet due to my personal beliefs and I was with my family who wanted to check out this place. I let the owner know if perhaps a falafel or grilled vegetables dish would be possible without cross contamination and he was very honest about the possibility not happening due to shared stations. I appreciate the honesty despite not being able to profit his business. While walking away he even ran after us to gift us a Bakalava which was extremely sweet of him. Would 10/10 suggest going here- he even mentioned that he will be buying a new grilling station /stove top soon to solve the exact problem of cross contamination for customers like me.

Stopped here while passing through Guelph. This is by far the BEST chicken shwarma wrap I've ever had. Full of flavor, loaded with ingredients and the garlic sauce is better then Pita Nutso. Price is affordable! We will for sure be back picture shown is my wife's beef wrap. The turnip is crunchy and not overly pickled either

I just had my first experience with Shawarma, and it certainly won't be my last! The service was absolutely top-notch, especially for such a cozy spot. I’ve learned so much about Shawarma, and I can confidently say it’s incredibly delicious! Thank you for the wonderful conversation; I truly appreciated it. We spent over $70 for dinner with our parents and were really looking forward to it since this place used to be so good. Unfortunately, it’s gone downhill. The rice was SO dry and bland, the sauce was minimal, and the chicken was thighs that were grilled instead of being cooked on a proper shawarma rotisserie — which really changes the flavour and texture. Everything just felt bland and dry. Sadly, we were disappointed and won’t be returning.

My child is a super picky eater but she loves the food at Manouche. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. She even got to try something new from the menu and really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend this restaurant. It is the best Mediterranean/Middle eastern food we have had in all of the Wellington County and surrounding area.
