Seafood restaurant
Fish is a laid-back bayside eatery that offers sustainably sourced seafood dishes and organic produce, supporting local fishermen and the economy. The restaurant received the Sustainable North Bay Award for its commitment to wild fish populations. Located near a harbor in Sausalito, it provides beautiful waterfront views of the bay and multimillion-dollar houses on the hills. The menu features fresh grilled fish, pasta, salads, and a kids' menu.
Was really excited to try this iconic spot and it didn’t disappoint! The food was super classic - my friends and I ordered a bunch of different items to share. I thought their famous fish and chips were pretty decent but what I really really loved about this spot was casual atmosphere - we seated ourselves right next to the water and enjoyed the view and breeze while we ate. Just great vibes overall and really satisfied my cravings

When in Sausalito, you “have” to eat at Fish! It’s our go-to spot, mainly because their fish smash burger never disappoints—hands down our favorite, plus, the skinny fries are, yes, skinny, and crispy, as they should! This time, we decided to try the clam dip since we never had it before. It was good, but nothing mind-blowing in terms of flavor; probably wouldn’t order it again. We also gave the tuna sandwich a shot and were pleasantly surprised. The bread was pan-fried to perfection, and everything came together really nicely. Just a side note: we tried the trout hot dog about four visits ago. Unfortunately, that one was a miss for us. It was overly salty and lacked flavor. The salt may have masked the flavor? We only ordered it because it was advertised as award-winning, but sadly, we didn’t agree and haven’t ordered it since. Bottom line: get the fish smash burger. Always worth it!

Cute restaurant in a beautiful waterfront location. Clean Busy Friendly helpful service. Outstanding clam chowder. One of the best we have enjoyed. The Caesar salad looks beautiful, but it tasted like this dressing came from a premade container. The fish and chips were good. To

INCREDIBLE food and great atmosphere. We got the chowder, salmon smash burger, and crab roll. All were flavorful and unique. I was pretty skeptical about the salmon burgers (I often find them dry and the flavor okay) but this salmon smash burger made me question everything. There’s also a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We ate at the restaurant along the water, and it was just lovely. Will be back!
Liz J — Google review
I really enjoyed the food at Fish, honestly, is was pretty well done. The fish was crispy, if a bit greasy, and was in some huge portions. We also got garlic bread, which was amazing, definitely recommend. Among a few other things we got that were very well done. The things is, the wait for the food was incredibly long for what we did end up getting and the price did seem a bit high for the atmosphere (on some random port and filled with a seat-yourself and be eventually served idea) which didn't quite meet what I expected. Still amazing and the food was heart-attack greasy and good that I could eat again. I'm not sure if this is truly a 5 star review, perhaps similar to Harris' is the way that it is 4.5 stars. 5 star if you're going with more casual vibes, 4 star if not.
Aero-bourne — Google review
Consistently good food! We enjoyed everything we ordered: * Glad Hand salad * oysters - we ordered a combo of fresh and bbq * cod fish and chips * spicy poke bowl There was a line even before it opened and we were just in time to still have tables available to us.
Kathy L — Google review
I absolutely LOVE Fish. I am from out of town, so I don’t get to visit often, but whenever I am visiting my friends in the Bay Area I make a point to stop by and enjoy a meal at Fish. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. Plenty of options for all sorts of palates. I got the ceviche and red chowder. Both were so very tasty and I couldn’t get enough. We also had the white chowder, fish tacos, poke bowl, and fish and chips. Not a single bite survived. A bit pricey but oh so very good! Can’t beat the views and vibes here.
Kristen G — Google review
If you want something fast and cheap go somewhere else. Baked oysters so good you forget your lifelong depression. Fried Fish will make you blush. Fresh oysters hold their own. Crab roll a 'try it once' indulgent treat at 40$ a peice. Great beer selection. Overall worth the wait.

Brunch restaurant
Bar Bocce is a popular waterfront spot in Sausalito, known for its sourdough-crust pizza and bocce court. The restaurant offers outdoor seating with cushioned benches around fire pits and a small sandy beach nearby. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the view of Richardson Bay while sipping on their delicious sangria or local beer and wine. The menu features bright colored salads, unique sourdough pizzas, and shrimp sandwiches.
We waited a couple minutes for our table but they have seating in the front area. Great draft Modello, great fried calamari and the pizza .. wow. Really delicious and fluffy dough with perfect amount of sauce and toppings. The view on to the Bay is the cherry on top, Loved it!
Maik-Sebastian R — Google review
This place has a beautiful water facing view and great vibes. However I found the food to be subpar. We ordered fried artichoke, Chicken Pesto Pizza and garlic bread. Garlic bread was definitely my favorite. I wouldn't recommend the other too. The service was good and quick.
Aruna A — Google review
We went to this restaurant and the food was honestly really good. I was very satisfied. The atmosphere was great, and everything from the service to the overall vibe was just right. I’d definitely go back again. The only thing is that it’s a bit far from me, so I might not be able to go as often. If it were closer, I’d probably be there every weekend!
Atieh H — Google review
Bar Bocce exceeded all expectations! The cod fritters, eggplant fritters, meatball sliders, and pizza were all absolutely delicious — each dish bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The view is fantastic, creating the perfect backdrop for a great meal. Service was phenomenal, attentive, and friendly. Plus, we got seated fairly quickly, which made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!
Karin Z — Google review
We put in our names in around 2pm on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend specifically asking for an outdoor seat (which requires you to order food), and were told it would be about 1 hour. The wait actually ended up being closer to 2 hours but this worked out in our favor as we were able to explore Sausalito during that time. We had great seats right by the view of all the boats. Be aware there is a patch of sand and some seating in front of the restaurant that is open to the public. I ordered the chicken quinoa salad and sangria and my friend ordered the shaved fennel and artichoke salad and an iced tea. I liked my salad though thought it was a little light on chicken. My friend also felt the same way about the avocado on her salad. Great place to relax and enjoy the view.
Michelle B — Google review
Loved sitting outside on the deck facing water. The 2 pizzas were delicious, wait staff was cheerful, & the atmosphere was peaceful.

Best spot for killer views and unforgettable pizza. Cozy and authentic, old Sausalito feel. Really cool, warm atmosphere.

We stayed in Sausilito and ordered this for pickup one night to eat back at our hotel. Two of us split an order of meatballs and a margherita pizza. Absolutely delicious!

French restaurant
Bistro
Le Garage is an industrial-chic bistro located in a converted auto shop by the water. The restaurant offers an intimate setting with vintage posters, cozy booths, and a fireplace that exudes the charm of old French streets. Guests can also opt for al fresco dining on the boardwalk when the weather is pleasant. The menu features classic French dishes made with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, providing couples with an exquisite dining experience.
The food was really amazing. Loved bouillabaisse, it was delicious and the portion size was good as well. The salmon was beautifully cooked and the parsnip puree was delicious. We went for brunch only to realize that brunch is only served in weekends. Definitely a good visit.
Amit D — Google review
Le Garage in Sausalito continues to be one of the Bay Area’s best hidden gems, even after nearly two decades of excellence. Nestled right on the waterfront, it offers not only picturesque views but also a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps regulars coming back. The owner and staff treat you like family, remembering your name and favorite dish, creating an experience that feels both special and familiar. On my most recent visit, I had the grilled chicken sandwich — and it was absolutely divine. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, paired with fresh, quality ingredients that elevated a simple sandwich into something memorable. Whether you’re a local or visiting for the first time, Le Garage is a place that quietly impresses every time. It’s the kind of spot you almost want to keep to yourself, but it’s just too good not to share.
David K — Google review
Everything was AMAZING. I'm not sure why this place only has 4.4 stars (at the time of writing this), but from the atmosphere to the food and the staff, you can't go wrong. Every flavor is matched beautifully, and the portions were light yet full of flavor. I'd highly recommend going yourself or with a group of friends! *Note, this place was recommended by a French friend 😋

This is a great spot in Sausalito. Servers were very attentive, and food was well made and fresh. Great ambiance and views. Highly recommend the eggs Benedict and mussels.

Bruno created an atmosphere that captures a warm, cozy french bistro! The space is beautiful and the food is delicious! Service is excellent and everyone is so kind :)

Modern French menu choices. A few more options would move it to a 5 star for me. Our waitress happened to be flighty and the busser took my plate while i was still chewing. The other staff seemed solid. I'll update when I visit next.

Sandrino Pizza & Vino is a charming pizzeria that offers a cozy atmosphere with its tile-and-wood setting. The owners, Alesandro Spaziani Montagna and Monika Torggler, bring their expertise from operating a restaurant in Verona, Italy. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, the restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner.
Wonderful experience...like traveling to Europe without the jetlag! Monika and Alessandro are an Italian couple who've welcomed locals and tourists alike, creating a warm community that loves good food, music, and drink. Great place to make new friends. Don't miss the amazing lasagna, Caesar salads, and gnocchi a la Romana.
Robert M — Google review
The food at San Drino Pizza & Vino is authentic, but it didn’t fully align with my preferences. Pizza: The pizza leaned too heavily on the cheese for my taste, with not enough veggies to balance it out. While it’s clearly crafted with care, the flavor profile didn’t win me over. Service: The staff was polite and attentive, but the service felt a bit slow at times. It could’ve been more prompt to match the restaurant’s otherwise high standards. Ambience: The ambience is cozy and charming, with a unique, welcoming vibe that sets the tone for a relaxed meal. San Drino delivers authenticity and a great atmosphere, even if the pizza didn’t quite suit my palate.
Vignesh M — Google review
All I’m gonna say is that we came here very suddenly because every other places were closed from 4-5pm and that’s beautiful. Music is amazing ( calming and beautiful, that makes to feel super cozy), Service is so good with pleasant atmosphere and so many Italian stories. Food is 10/10 believe me I’m very picky! Make sure to try Panna cotta they do it differently with pistachio cream
Neonilla — Google review
We enjoyed a wonderful lunch here yesterday. The Caesar salad had the freshest lettuce and the Greco pizza was superb. I only wish our server spoke some English as it was extremely difficult to communicate with her. At least she smiled when we asked her a question.
Lisa — Google review
Incredible! I almost believe that the description of the restaurant doesn’t fit the true experience while eating here as well as quality of the food, wine and service. Came with a friend and had a salad, their special lasagna that day was truly the best I’ve ever had. Fabulous salad and a generous glass of delicious wine topped off with tiramisu and a cappuccino. To die for! We were waited on by the owner and he was so kind and appreciative of our compliments. The best restaurant during my 10 day Sausalito stay and one of the best meals I’ve had in a restaurant in ages. We will be back!

Sandrino: Where Sausalito Meets the Soul of Italy Nestled in the heart of Sausalito, Sandrino is more than a restaurant—it’s a sanctuary of flavor, warmth, and Italian authenticity. From the moment you step through its doors, you’re greeted not just by the scent of fresh basil and wood-fired crust, but by the kind presence of Alessandro, the owner whose gracious spirit infuses every corner of the space. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting, with soft lighting, rustic textures, and a hum of conversation that feels like a family gathering. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and every detail—from the plating to the playlist—feels lovingly curated. The menu is a masterwork of regional Italian pride. Start with the Bruschetta Tartufo, a decadent blend of porcini and white truffle cream on toasted bread, crowned with burrata and aged prosciutto crudo San Daniele. Or opt for the Mozzarella Speck, where fresh mozzarella is wrapped in speck and paired with oven-baked cherry tomatoes and arugula—an alpine kiss of salt, smoke, and sweetness. Salads here are vibrant and layered. The Tirolese offers toasted seeds and a roasted speck-bread dumpling over organic greens, while the Burrata salad sings with sun-dried tomatoes and basil pesto. Each bite is a celebration of texture and balance. Pizza is the heart of Sandrino’s soul. Alessandro doesn’t do custom pies—and that’s a gift. Each creation is intentional, expressive, and deeply satisfying. The Parmigiana, with double tomato sauce, eggplant, and fresh basil, is a smoky, tangy triumph. The Romeo, topped with 24-month aged prosciutto San Daniele, arugula, and cherry tomatoes, is a poetic blend of savory and fresh. For bold palates, the Fra’Galdino—gorgonzola, onion, and walnuts—delivers a blue-cheese crescendo that lingers with elegance. Desserts are a love letter to tradition. Monika’s House-made Tiramisu is ethereal—light, rich, and kissed with espresso. The Panna Cotta, made with ricotta and layered with pistachio or coffee, is a silky finale that feels like a lullaby. Prices are refreshingly fair, especially given the quality, care, and portion sizes. Sandrino is a place where excellence meets accessibility—a rare and beautiful balance. But what truly sets Sandrino apart is Alessandro. His kindness, humility, and passion for hospitality elevate the experience from great to unforgettable. You’re not just dining—you’re being welcomed into a story, a tradition, a home. Bravo!

Great food, great wine. Outdoor tables are great! Service was unfortunately very poor and very pricey for what you get. We were left alone the entire meal, having to grab the attention of one of the two servers when we needed something. Waited over 20 to minutes for the bill, and eventually needed to go find a server inside to pay. As great as this place was, I will not be back.
Amber — Google review
Fantastic pizza. Some of the best pizza I've had in a while. We had two pizzas a spicy garlic pizza and the classic Margherita. Both were absolutely fantastic. We got the caprese salad as well which I felt could have done with some balsamic and the gnocchi. The gnocchi was unlike any I've had before but it was really great. The tiramisu was to die for but the chocolate cake wasn't as wonderful. Overall I'd still wholeheartedly give the 5 stars. Fantastic service from Monica and her husband, absolutely lovely people!

Restaurant
Lighthouse Café, located on Caledonia Street, is a casual spot owned by a Danish couple that offers an American breakfast and lunch menu with Danish options. This café has been serving great food and tunes since 1949 and features an old wooden lighthouse-shaped tower on the top of the building. It's a popular spot for locals, offering a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy some casual grub while listening to talented musicians.
After an amazing day exploring the city, we decided to venture over the iconic Golden Gate Bridge to the charming town of Sausalito! We were in a bit of a hurry, but still wanted to grab a delicious bite to eat. Luckily, we stumbled upon this adorable cafe just before closing time! The staff there were absolutely fantastic - they greeted us with big smiles and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I can't even begin to describe how much I loved the steaming hot cup of fresh coffee ☕️ I had there. Even at the end of the day, it was still piping hot and bursting with flavor! Now, let's talk about the burger I ordered. It was a tad on the pricier side, but boy was it worth it! The flavors were incredible and I savored every single bite. My friend also enjoyed her meal - it was just as tasty! Oh, and did I mention they have the cutest little patio? It's the perfect spot to soak in the breathtaking views while enjoying your meal. It's no wonder they've been around for so long - they have an incredibly loyal following! Trust me, you won't be disappointed if you give them a try. I highly, highly recommend this place!

I was only in the bay area for a weekend and my friends who live in the bay wanted to take me to Sausalito. We stopped here for lunch around 2 pm. I was so excited to see so many options that were vegetarian friendly, as that was a big issue as we were looking for somewhere to eat. Overall the food was okay. I was kind of disappointed in the idea of this being a "Spanish" omelette (iykyk). The waitress, Alisha, also forgot my toast and my friend's side order of meatballs and we had to remind her. We ate outside and there was a bee that kept landing on our food and interrupting our meal. I asked the waitress about it and she said it regularly happens. The food was good. I can't complain about the flavor. However, as we were finishing up, we did feel a bit rushed when a lady who wasn't even our server came out and asked us to pay and didn't even give us time to discuss whose card we would put it on. She was very insistent in the moment pointing at my friend asking her to pay then and there because it was 2:55 and they close at 3:00. As someone who works in hospitality, this is not the type of service I would expect from such a popular establishment.
D J — Google review
The Lighthouse Café offers indoor and outdoor dining, but our visit left us underwhelmed. We waited more than 30 minutes for a table, only to find the food uneven. The mixed fruit pancakes came out slightly burnt and surprisingly bland, though the portion was generous. The Danish plate was better, but not enough to make up for the rest. Both the hot and cold coffees were weak—the hot one lukewarm and the cold one watered down. Overall, after such a long wait, the experience was more disappointing than satisfying.
Lina E — Google review
A Solid Winner! My husband and I are always on the hunt for a good classic American breakfast, and The Lighthouse definitely delivered 🙌🏽This place easily made it into our top 5 diner experiences! They've got all the diner staples you'd expect, plus some nice danish inspired surprises on the menu. Our breakfast was really tasty and came out just the way we ordered it, always a good sign! What really stood out, though, was the staff. These folks were genuinely friendly and worked together like a smooth running machine. It's one of those places where you can tell the team actually enjoys working together, and that energy definitely rubbed off on us as customers. It's a great reminder of how much the right staff can elevate the whole dining experience. 🫶🏽👍🏽👍🏽 If you're craving that classic diner breakfast, The Lighthouse is definitely worth a visit. We'll certainly be back!

Food was disappointing. We ordered spanish omelette with side of home fries and toast. The veggies inside the omelette were very oily. Home fries were also sad not nicely grilled or fried with less salt. Salsa was also watery and tasteless. We asked to move the table since the current table had awful smell but server refused and said no moving allowed. Overall disappointing. Will never go again.

Avatars is an Indian-fusion restaurant in Sausalito that offers a unique blend of Punjabi burritos, enchiladas, and other innovative dishes. The restaurant provides a basic space for diners to enjoy their exotic food. For those with kids, Avatars also offers a kids menu featuring American comfort food options like cheeseburgers and grilled cheese with fries. In addition to its Indian-inspired dishes, the restaurant also serves items influenced by Italian and Jamaican cuisine.

I was excited to try this hyped restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The prices seemed fair at first, but once I received my portions, I realized they were much smaller than expected for the price. I had sampled the food, but then they charged me for a full-sized dish, which felt misleading. Another downside was the manager – while it’s nice to check in with customers, the manager was too talkative. He came to our table three times during the meal, which was more disruptive than pleasant. Overall, I think there’s room for improvement in both the service and portion sizes. It wasn’t the experience I was hoping for, especially with all the hype surrounding it.

Incredible place, and the host is quite the character. Friendly and great service. This place has been around awhile and serves fresh farm to table dishes expertly crafted and inspired from around the world that are as unique and creative as they are delicious. Nestled along the picturesque waterfront of Sausalito, Salito's Crab House & Prime Rib is a delightful dining destination that perfectly marries casual elegance with stunning bay views. This airy venue boasts generous portions of surf and turf, making it an ideal spot for those looking to indulge in a memorable meal. The restaurant features charming black and white tiled floors and awnings that evoke a classic feel, while its multi-leveled decks provide ample opportunity to soak in the beauty of the surrounding area.
Let’s be real, I don’t think Sausalito has standout food spots, but I’m giving this place 5 stars for the vibe and service alone. This is my go-to for a chill beer and oysters by the water. The view is absolutely stunning, and the staff is always friendly and on point. We’ve always been able to walk in without much of a wait, which is a bonus. We’ve tried the fish & chips and the iron skillet too, not really my thing, but honestly, I come here for the atmosphere, not the food.

POOR customer service from the girl, if she doesn't wanna work there just quit. Alfonso our waiter was amazing excellent customer service, excellent seller, excellent behavior, his helper was above and beyond. Food was incredible! Juicy, tasty, just amazing. Timing was earlier than expected. My whole experience great. Just the entrance experience was worst than poor. Btw looks like a manager a white tall guy with shirt and tie pass by multiple times but not even a single stop to out table to greet or ask how was everything. I'll definitely go somewhere else before returning here.

Amazing view whether you're overlooking the marina or hiding away in the romantic hideaway booths. Service was super fast, staff very caring. We started with rhe clam chowers, traditional and spicy, A+ on the spicy. I love green olives traditionally with white wine but here, they are battered... yum ! Main plates were Alfredo Linguine with crab and Fish and Chips. Amazing proportion of the cheese in the garlic pasta. Fish was delicious. The chips are not french fries rather mini air fried potatoes. I'm not big on the over powering fishy taste so this plate hit it out the ballpark. Did not realize same owner of Dead Fish, one of our other go to favorite spots. Highly recommend for date night.

Salito’s Crab House & Prime Rib has a great location with beautiful waterfront views and a lively atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience pleasant. We ordered seafood dishes that looked delicious and were served hot and fresh. However, the food was a bit too salty for our taste. Overall, it’s a nice spot to enjoy seafood and good service, but the seasoning could be toned down a bit.

Beautiful view of the bay with fresh seafood. The Dungeness crab in garlic oil was delicious, and the calamari was also very crispy. Our favorite was the crab cakes which had a lot of crab meat and crispy outside. Great place to eat some seafood on a sunny weekend.

We wanted to visit Sausalito, and once there we decided to have lunch. We checked google and find this place, best decision ever. The restaurant is conveniently ubicated in the marina, so every table has sea views. To start, the place is gorgeous. But the people there and the food, doest not stand behind. We asked for the 2 kind of Clam chowder and we can not agree which one was better. We felt amazing there. This is the best place to dinner in the area

Great stop while in Sausalito. Enjoyed the food - clam chowder, pasta and other mains. Beautiful view of the water and the yachts. So pro tip would be to get seated by the window by the water if possible.

I had such a good meal I came back the next day! The sea bass was wonderful and the clam chowder was tasty. I ordered the shrimp skillet as well and I wouldn’t recommend, and they were very tiny shrimp compared to the cocktail.

Nestled in the charming town of Sausalito, Copita Tequileria y Comida is a vibrant modern Mexican restaurant that celebrates the essence of seasonal ingredients and tequila-infused drinks. This delightful eatery offers a unique dining experience, perfect for special occasions like Mother's Day, where moms can enjoy a complimentary strawberry rose sangria. The brunch menu features mouthwatering dishes such as Chef Tellez's Huevos Rancheros and Chilaquiles Montados, both bursting with flavor.
We stopped by for an hour after the Muir Woods tour and before the Alcatraz. It was a limited time lunch for us but we wanted to try this place. We got 2 tacos veggie and 2 tacos fish. Both were delicious and fresh. The location is not by the sea but walkable distance.

Copita in Sausalito is an excellent spot for authentic Mexican food. The dishes are flavorful and well-prepared, and the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming. On top of that, the drinks and tequila selection are fantastic — some of the best I’ve had. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy real Mexican cuisine, and sip a perfectly crafted cocktail while taking in the Sausalito vibe. Highly recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been coming to Copita for years—probably a dozen times by now—and it never disappoints. The tequila selection is outstanding, and the service is always friendly and on point. The food is consistently very good: the watermelon salad is refreshing and delicious, the habanero salsa is fire (you definitely have to ask for it if you like heat—it’ll blow your mind!), and the enchiladas are rich and flavorful. I personally prefer white meat chicken over dark, but that’s just a small preference in an otherwise great dish. Overall, this place is one of my go-to spots in Sausalito for a fun, vibrant meal. Great drinks, great staff, great atmosphere—highly recommend!

I had a delightful dining experience at Copita Tequileria y Comida. The food was absolutely fantastic – from the rich flavors to the beautiful presentation, every dish was a treat to the senses. The freshness of the ingredients truly shone through, and the chef’s attention to detail was evident in every bite. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience by providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that our needs were met promptly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, though it could have been a bit more lively. However, the cozy, laid-back vibe made it a perfect place for a relaxed meal. I especially appreciated the ambiance of the space, which made the evening feel special. Overall, Copita offers a wonderful blend of great food, top-notch service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable dining experience!

I once had tacos here, maybe 4-5 years ago. Till date I haven’t had better, more delicious, tacos ever! Cooked with the perfect balance of flavours and tenderness of meat. No wonder this place has received michelin star.

Wonderful experience, excellent food, great service, friendly staff. Had chips and queso loaded with authentic Mexican ingredients. As for the drinks…my Oaxacan Old Fashioned was possibly the best drink I’ve had in a long time.

This is a go-to for me when I have visitors from out of town. Awesome food, really best of kind in Marin. The empanadas are to die for, tacos delish, atmosphere super festive and right on the main area near ferry in Sausalito. Super crowd pleaser! Often crowded (wait time) during peak hours and weekends. Super friendly staff and great service!

Napa Valley Burger Company is a cozy restaurant in Sausalito, California that offers carefully sourced gourmet burgers and fries, as well as local wines. The warm space features brick walls and has been serving customers since 1992. This family-owned establishment also offers Scandinavian classics like Danish meatballs and Norwegian salmon alongside their signature open-face Copenhagen burger. On Sundays, they offer a special brunch menu for visitors to enjoy.
Whether you’re going for lunch or dinner, Napa Valley Burger Company will not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Lucas, who was courteous, professional, and truly set the tone for a great meal. We decided to try the Turkey Swiss Avocado Burger which was a delightful combination of flavors—the juicy turkey patty complemented by the creamy avocado and melted baby Swiss cheese made each bite satisfying. The Fish Tacos were fresh and well-prepared, a great option for seafood lovers. The Waffle Fries—crispy, golden, with melted jack and cheddar cheese. With ranch dressing on the side, I just kept going at it. The restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere with excellent food and service. If you're in the area and craving a great burger or some delicious comfort food, Napa Valley Burger Company is definitely worth a visit!

Chill environment. Music was low so you can have a normal conversation. There are a couple of TVs on. They have a full bar and draft beers. We just shared the onion rings. They were crispy with fresh onions. When you bit into them they had a crunch and the entire onion didn't pull out it came with Chipotle aioli and ranch.

I went here yesterday, and it was a really nice spot. The atmosphere was beautiful, very Napa-style, elegant and cozy inside, with a clean and pleasant vibe. The service was okay, nothing too special, but fine overall. We ordered an Angus beef burger with American-style hot dog sausage, and it was delicious. The highlight for me was definitely the sweet potato fries, seriously amazing, super crispy and flavorful. Although they did have a slight taste of old frying oil. Other than that, the food was great, prices were fair, and it’s a place I’d definitely visit again.

The food was ok. The burger and fries were delicious. Our son did not like the chicken fingers. They were not fresh. Tasted like they were frozen. Two children thought the grilled cheese was ok. They were prepared on burger buns. One son had the kids burger and was happy. The golden margaritas are strong and delicious. The restaurant was very busy during lunch. The ambiance is kind of a pub like feel. The service was fast and friendly.

I never say "no" to a good burger.....and I'm certainly glad I didn't say "no" to this one! I ordered the "Sausalito Burger" and it ranks amongst the best burgers I've ever had, although a bit on the messy side (but what great burgers aren't?)! The accompanying fries were also cooked to perfection! The service was beyond efficient and the washrooms were spotlessly clean. Give them a try!!! I'll be returning!!!

This is one of the better dining options in Sausalito. Having said that, the food is good, but not amazing. We just wanted something super quick after having biked a good 5 miles, so we were just glad to get a seat. We sat at the bar. The bartender was pretty nice. We ordered a beer and a sangria. The sangria was delicious. I always rate my sangrias based on how much wine I taste, the less, the better because it means the drink is smoother. This one hit the mark there for sure. The food was just ok. We got their yountville burger and the fish tacos. The plates were big. The burger had bacon along with the usual suspects. Most of the plate was occupied by the salad. The burger was decent, just like any other burger. We didn't finish the whole thing because of how large the portion was. The fish taco plate came with 2 fish tacos and a big salad. The tacos were ok. There was a large piece of grilled fish with avocados. Between the two, the tacos were definitely better. They were difficult to eat because of how big the tacos were. These tacos are nowhere close to the real authentic tacos you'd get in San Diego but they were good enough. Salsa did not have any salt in it so it was disappointing. Pricing wise, the whole check is on the higher end of the range for what we ate, but that is Sausalito for you!

If you're looking for a taste of the tropics without leaving Northern California, Lappert's Ice Cream is your go-to destination. This charming outpost of a beloved Hawaiian chain immerses you in an island vibe with its vibrant floral decor and leafy accents. The menu boasts an impressive array of 125 flavors, including must-try options like Kauai Pie—a delightful blend of coffee ice cream, chocolate fudge, and coconut macadamia nuts—and the indulgent Hawaiian Sea Salt Caramel.
Great ice cream and sorbet flavors. It really tastes great. Usually busy but I find that after 7pm the crowd usually dies down. If you are in the area this is a must have Flavors occasionally rotate, so if they don’t have your flavor you might have to check another day. I wish they had Mango Sorbet in stock more often
Pika F — Google review
Honestly some of the best ice cream I've had in the bay. Tons of variety in the flavors, great texture in the ice cream, and a super nice location. Only reason this is not 5 stars is because they only allow tasting of 2 flavors and it's $7 for a single scoop. I know Sausalito is a more expensive area but that's still just absurd. With that being said though, the ice cream is fire. Worth trying out if you're ever in the area.

It’s a lovely icecreams parlour. Nice ambience and good variety of tasty icecreams. They have handcrafted, "super-premium" ice cream made with high-quality ingredients. We tried the Hawaiian Sea Salt Caramel: Hawaii pink salted caramel fudge in sweet cream and Praline Pecan: Southwestern-style pecans in a caramel cream. These were good. Nice sorbets too. Seating is nice. Closes around 8.30 pm

As a child my mom and I walked across the Golden Gate Bridge to the ice cream. I was able to 40 years later take my children and husband to the Ice Cream Polar. We took pictures of the city and loved the ice cream just as I did when I was their age. Thank you for the great experience.

Had the Kauai Pie ice cream and it’s one of the best ice cream we ever had … the flavors of the ingredients just work so well: coffee, Macadamia nuts, coconut shreds, and others. Also it’s not too sweet therefore able to enjoy the flavors. Well done! Very impressive~

Green tea ice cream in waffle cone did the trick for me on a hot day. Cool down on a bench by the water and grass, with a book maybe. I found a nice spot by the ferry docks. I was happy with my free waffle cone for having completed Sausalito Public Library’s adult summer reading challenge- you can do it too! It’s awesome when you can read and get additional rewards. You get 2 free samples per person before having to select your flavor. I sampled the ube macapuno and was unimpressed- it didn’t taste much like ube, maybe more like coconut. I also sampled the date casablanca, which is vanilla ice cream studded with date bits and laced with caramel trails. I think if the date flavor was more incorporated in the whole ice cream, I could’ve gone for it. I’m glad I went with green tea and would recommend this flavor. It’s not the strongest green tea ice cream I’ve had but it was enough and I wasn’t looking for too strong today anyway.

Angelino Restaurant is a family-friendly Italian eatery located in Sausalito, California. It offers a mix of classic and exotic dishes, including seafood pasta and grilled octopus salad. Run by the Ancona family for multiple generations, this waterfront restaurant has built a reputation for its delicious food and cozy atmosphere. The menu features authentic Italian cuisine such as arrosticini and handmade pastas, along with seasonal antipasti that showcases the flavors of the Campania region.
I recently visited Angelino Restaurant and had a really nice experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy dining area and friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away. The pizza was delicious — the crust had a great balance of crispness and chew, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It definitely felt like an authentic Italian touch. They also have other Italian dishes on the menu that looked tempting, so I’d love to come back and try more. Service was attentive without being overwhelming, and the location by the water adds to the charm of the place. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that it can get busy, and the wait time for food was a little longer than expected. Overall, a great spot for pizza and Italian food — I’d recommend it if you’re in the area!
Abosufian M — Google review
The setting is gorgeous, so that adds a wonderful ambiance. Having just visited Italy, the food here was good but not amazing. We had the focaccia, gnocchi and chicken secondi. The waitstaff was surprisingly standoffish and brusque the entire time. That was pretty off putting, especially given the prices. I expect excellent service at this price point

Indulging in authentic Italian flavors at this restaurant was an absolute treat! The bolognese was rich and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the freshly made noodles. The bread, with its crispy exterior and pillowy soft interior, was a delightful addition to the meal. However, the noisy ambiance slightly dampened the dining experience. And the price was a little pricey overall given the portion of one pasta served. Nevertheless, for those craving genuine Italian fare, this spot is worth a visit! 🍝🇮🇹

We had a delicious dinner at this lovely, cozy restaurant in downtown Sausalito. Relaxed, comfortable ambiance. We ordered the arancini as an appetizer to share. Highly recommend Angelino for dinner while in Sausalito.

Overall 1/5, disappointed. Here’s my order: Pizza Margherita - 3/5, crust was burned. Ravioli- 1/5, dry, has no flavor. Scampi with shrimp - 🍤 🍤 🍤 🍤/5, because shrimp was tasty. Appetizers aren’t bad. Lentil soup - well, 0/5. Because it looked like a dog food and did not taste well. We had one more salty food, forgot its name 🙃 The view is beautiful tho 🤷🏻‍♀️

Joinery is a waterfront haunt in Sausalito that offers an extensive beer menu and casual New American cuisine. The communal-style beer hall and rotisserie open right onto the water, providing beautiful views. The Joinery burger with blue cheese and bacon, as well as the Porchetta sandwich with split-roasted pork loin, cracklings, and drippings are highly recommended. It's a great spot for lunch or dinner with a laid-back atmosphere.
We were recommended this on our cycle ride from San Francisco by Blazing Saddles. What a great rest stop for great food and Beer. With a place to lock up the bikes too. We sat outside as the weather was perfect in mid March however inside looked great too. Food is ordered and paid for at the register and then you find your own seat which always makes us a bit nervous but we loved the food. Great views of Marina and across Richardson Bay. A great location and not far from the ferry terminal back to the Bay.

I freakin love this place. I went with a big group of friends for lunch while exploring San Fran/Sausalito, and absolutely loved it. I’m a huge chicken fan, so of course my likelihood of enjoying the food was higher; that said, I’d recommend it to anyone! I really enjoyed the simple menu, the modern vibe, and the fast service. They have a ton of seating, even for big groups. I got a half rotisserie chicken and fries. Man, those fries sure were greasy, but they were so good, and loaded with garlic. I’d for sure go back if I’m in San Fran again soon!

Nothing will ever beat sitting behind the restaurant - overlooking the pier that directly led to the ocean - on a sunny, breezy afternoon while eating the falafel sandwich. The food was so deliciously comforting - the falafel was warm, the ciabatta was perfectly soft, and the salty fries had that exact crunchy/rough exterior with a pillowy interior you’d want. Would love to come back!

Great spot for a casual lunch on the water. Front of house ordering and self seating adds to the simplicity of this spot. Fantastic casual dining spot in Sausalito, right on the water! You can dine in the spacious group dining room or outdoor on the patio along water - if dining outside, be aware that hungry pigeons are underfoot waiting for crumbs, but they’re not as aggressive as they are in other areas I’ve been to. You pay for order and take a table with your order number, and they’ll deliver to your table. The menu caters to a variety of tastes, including some great vegetarian options like the Burrata + Butternut Squash. The burrata was fresh and creamy, and the generous slice of country bread featured a crispy crust and warm tender crumb. If one of your dining companions gets the Fried Chicken Sandwich, ask for some of their arugula to go with your burrata - trust me, you’ll love it. The milk shake was also generous with the ice cream - the paper straw it comes with will soften before you get through it!

So incredibly pleased with our experience at this restaurant. From the service to the food everything was perfect. We came in when they were only doing take out, which we said we were more than okay to do, but they insisted to set up a table for us. We got the Thai iced tea, salad rolls, pot stickers, pho, and egg noodle dish. Each was so incredible, and some of the best of the dishes Ive tried. Portion sizes were massive, a great price for what you get. Our drinks were refilled as soon as they were close to empty, and we were given any sauce we could’ve needed, the service was so quick. I would give ten stars to service if I could. My sister and I walked up around 5, we didn't know they switch to only takeout after 4:30pm, but the family owners were so nice. They offered to put a table up outside for us, gave us ice water and the most delicious complimentary carrot and ginger soup I've ever had. They gave us extra rice at checkout too. Everyone was so sweet! Past that, the food was delicious we ordered Pad Thai, Potstickers, and Ga Prow Kai Dow. The sauce with the Potstickers was so delicious!! I've been meaning to write this review for about 6 months now, but here we are! I just wanted to thank the whole team from the bottom of my heart for a wonderful experience doing the hosted Taco Bar for our wedding on the houseboat! From start to finish everyone was awesome and the food was top-notch! We had blindly booked you guys without trying your food first as we live internationally and were ecstatic with what we recieved. Big, big thanks for making our special day even better! Big thanks from Sweden! -Coleman + Sofia

What joke. I ordered a regular steak burrito $19 and a coke $5 . What a bland burrito. From the beginning I asked for a regular burrito then he kept pushing if wanted a super.Twice I kindly declined.I guess I’m just price shocked.A in burrito in Alameda is $12 and full of flavor.Salsalito Taco shop likes likes to take advantage of people I guess.

We came here back in 2018 to meet family for lunch and we fell in love! Authentic Mexican delight! We loved it so much that while passing through, we had to stop here again to grab some tacos and fajitas! 🫶🏼 Wonderful service & so clean ❤️

I wanted to love this place as I’m a huge fan of Mexican food. I read the reviews and noticed a few said that the food lacked flavor and they were right. I ordered a fish, steak, and shrimp taco and all 3 lacked flavor. The fish was battered and tasted like water, the steak was over cooked, and the shrimp was overpowered by burnt peppers and onions. The corn tortillas weren’t great either. I’m so glad I filled up on their excellent tortilla chips with pico de gallo. My husband and my friend liked their meals but mine was certainly sad. As cute as the restaurant was and the atmosphere was great, I will not come back. For 3 of us it was $146 in tacos & burritos. This is insane pricing for disappointing food.

I remember this place being so delicious 😋 (it was 10 + years tho). Today was different. I do have to say that the food was very fresh but unfortunately it lacked flavor… I had fish tacos and a cochinita taco. The slaw for the fish taco was super fresh but no seasoning is was more like shredded cabbage:( the cochinita also needed a little help. Def had to ask for some hot sauce to spice things up a bit. So all in all food/ingredients are great but def ask for some salt and hot sauce and some lemon/lime. It’s $23 for 3 tacos. Service was great and environment good across the street from the water.

Place is a little bit small and there is not many tables to sit, but had a great view near the main street. The tacos fresh and good. The nachos were great and it's sauce was fresh and tasty. It was nothing very special about this place, just a good spot to stop by for lunch while passing the street or back from the beach.
Mehrshad E — Google review
Food is not that great. It's very bland and has no taste at all. Also ordered the passion fruit tea, which also has no taste to it. Water without ice and not cold at all unless you ask for the ice. Service and atmosphere are good.

Great service the fajitas were very tasty ordered the shrimp and steak. The tortilla soup was very tasty it was more of a broth base and I loved it. It had excellent flavor. The guacamole tasted more store bought. Overall great location and excellent service.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a great spot in Sausalito! I had a wonderful experience at Sausalito Bakery & Cafe. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The pastries were fresh and delicious, and the sandwiches and small bites were just as impressive — really good quality and full of flavor. Everything tasted homemade and carefully prepared. Plus, the view is absolutely beautiful — a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommended!

Nice cafe on the waterfront where you can just sit and watch the world go by. We ordered the cookies and I will be honest they are more like rock cakes than cookies. The lemon and blueberry one is most like a biscuit/cookie and was delicious. Best cup of tea I had in San Francisco area so highly recommended 👌

Beautiful bakery and cafe with a beautiful view of the water front and the Golden Gate Bridge. The staff were warm and welcoming. Food - The pastries were fresh and delicious, and the sandwiches were great. They have a large assortment of salads, sandwiches. They have fresh home made pastries. Chocolate chip cookie was good too. You can sit outside or inside. Nice breakfast available. Closes at 5 pm

What a perfect way to end my Golden Gate Bridge walk! After hoofing it all the way from San Francisco, I was starving and this little gem in Sausalito was exactly what I needed. The green storefront caught my eye right away - it’s got that classic small-town charm that makes Sausalito so special. I ordered their omelet with bacon and it was absolutely delicious. The eggs were fluffy and cooked perfectly, the bacon was crispy, and they gave me some great multigrain toast on the side. The fresh fruit was a nice touch too. Everything looked freshly baked and you could smell it the moment you walked in. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy - perfect for refueling after a long walk. Plus, you can’t beat the location right in downtown Sausalito.

It’s a lovely café and bakery, run by a kind Iranian couple who pour their hearts into everything they do. The place feels like home — every meal tastes like something your grandmother would make, full of love and care. Their food is incredibly healthy and comforting, and the couple themselves are some of the sweetest, most welcoming people you’ll ever meet.

Deli
Venice Gourmet Delicatessen is an old-school Italian market located in the Bridgeway Promenade area, known for its sandwiches, groceries, and cookware. Despite being surrounded by tourists, this deli stands out for its quality. One of the local favorites is the Italian House Special sandwich which can be enjoyed at a sidewalk table with a great view. Visitors have praised the quick service and delicious sandwiches such as the hearty turkey & cheese and focaccia.
Good place to get tomato soup to warm up by the waters in Sausalito. I got the tomato soup cup (price: $8.95, including tax (9.25%): $9.78) and it was very delicious. They added for some courteous and cheese on top which was a nice touch. This tomato soup is not as creamy as other ones I’ve had. It’s more a vegetable soup broth consistency, but it’s just as enjoyable. I came in on a Saturday in November and there wasn’t any line to order, so I was able to order quickly and my food came out shortly after. Since there wasn’t that many people I managed to get a table and had a nice view of the Sausalito waters! The inside feels like a speciality Italian grocery store. It reminds me of another Italian grocery/sandwich shop I used to visit and it feels very cozy. They have a counter where you can order food like sandwiches, salads, and soups. They have many tables inside as well as outside. Parking: It was a bit difficult to find parking in Sausalito downtown, since many of the lots were full. We managed to get a spot after another car pulled out. It was a paid lot (through ParkMobile I believe)

A wonderful, picturesque cafe overlooking the city of SF. The staff were lovely, food was great and the view absolutely what we wanted after a cycle over the Golden Gate Bridge. We had the bread bowl chowder and it didn’t disappoint, coupled with a glass of JCB pink fizz. Delightful.

Venice Gourmet Delicatessen in Sausalito is the kind of spot that feels like it’s been plucked straight out of a European postcard. Picture this: the sun glinting off the bay, a quirky little storefront with retro vibes, and inside, a spread so colorful it practically winks at you. This deli is like the best friend who always knows exactly what you need for lunch—and throws in a view just because. Walk through the doors, and you’re hit with a smorgasbord of goodies that scream “eat me.” Shrimp-topped salads piled high with avocado, vibrant bowls of pasta, artichokes, olives, and all the deli delights your heart could desire. It’s a feast for the eyes as much as the taste buds, with each plate looking like it’s auditioning for a magazine spread. But Venice Gourmet is more than just a meal; it’s a treasure trove of gourmet goodies too. Need an artisanal snack for later? Or a quirky sauce that’ll make you look like you actually know how to cook? They’ve got you covered, with shelves brimming with everything from local treats to international finds. And don’t even get me started on the copper pots and vintage touches—they’re like little winks to the past, adding to the deli’s irresistible charm. So, if you’re after a bite with a side of bay views and a hefty helping of charm, this is your spot. Venice Gourmet isn’t just a deli; it’s a whole vibe. Grab a sandwich, soak in the scenery, and let yourself get lost in the laid-back, delicious magic of Sausalito.

Great place for breakfast. Just wanted eggs, bacon and sourdough toast. My friend ordered a veggie omelette. It was quickly prepared, hot and tasty. There are nice views nearby to check out the area and unwind before the long drive home. Service was nice.

We came to have a lunch after a long drive in the bay area. It was a pleasant experience. The place has a great location, close to the water, there is also a parking outside. Inside, many tables are available, toilets are spacious and clean, overall interior is not up-to-date but clean and charming. We arrived right before their closing time, around 2.30 pm. There were still customers finishing up their food. We ordered an omelette, fried eggs, a water and a coffee. The food arrived in 10-15 minutes. We could finish it in no rush however the place already got closed. The food cost us 40 usd. The food was good, the portions were large, perhaps I lacked a salad in the side. The service was truly great - friendly and fast. I can totally recommend this place.

We loved this place! It was our first time here and it was everything we hoped for and more. The food was unusually delicious. We had breakfast eggs Benedict and Swedish pancakes, with fresh squeezed orange juice. Our server Alise went the extra mile in making us feel welcome and having a wonderful time. It turns out she owns the place with her family. We super recommend coming here and sitting in their back patio where you can see house boats on the marina harbor.

This is my second time coming to Bayside cafe and it’s always enjoyable. Not the greatest looking place inside but the food is good as well as the service. The staff was super friendly looking forward to coming back.

I have the most delicious and fresh Salmon Pasta!!!! salmon (smoked salmon, arugula & cream) Oh it was most delicious and accurate amount of season food The serve was kind of slow and very strange we can’t SPLIT the check. ?!?!?? The waitress was awesome and did heck of job taking care of us. So many foods smell wonderful and drink was good. I do feel like this is nice romantic place to eat at. Interior Design look beautiful, great condition, less light, and very painting. It does make me feel like I'm in Europe.

They had the most incredible live jazz – the band was seriously talented and brought such a soulful, lively vibe to the night. I sat at the bar and met some great people, and the atmosphere made it easy to strike up a conversation. Big shoutout to Stephan, the bartender – he was awesome. Super friendly and made me feel right at home. Even though they didn’t have non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu, he offered to whip one up from scratch and absolutely nailed it. I had the salmon and it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. If you’re ever in Sausalito and love live jazz, good food, and great company, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back!

HORRIBLE, I have never tested such bad eggs Benedict ever in my life. I mean how can they go bad with eggs Benedict ? I couldn’t eat more than two spoons. My husband ordered beet salad which was horrible and uncooked. He had to eat it forcefully since we were hungry. Not worth the price and would not recommend anyone for this restaurant

Be sure to check this place out. It is off the main street just a couple blocks. Feels like a locals joint with comfort food and great wine. They also have live music (on select nights). We started with the minestrone soup and house made focaccia. Both were great. Our entrees were the house made gnocchi, lasagne, spaghetti and risotto. We also ordered side of Brussel sprouts that also had pancetta and sweet potatoes. They were the best thing on the table. Delicious. All of our dishes were lovely. The only drawback was the risotto is not a traditional one. Did not have the creaminess we are used to. We will definitely be back. Service was excellent as well.

Had breakfast here and had a great experience! The waitress was very nice and warm with us. She made suggestions from the menu from which I chose one and my wife chose something of her own taste. Both meals we ordered (she ordered an omelette and I ordered poached eggs in a tomato sauce) were fantastic with the only complaint being that my meal was a bit small. A third egg or a meat would have made it perfect. Overall, I would highly recommend!

2022 March review: came back again and the food was all on point. The lamb, pork medallion, lasagna are must-gets. Great jazz duo playing live music too. Loved the dinner and will be back again soon. 2018 review: The burrata asian pear appetizer was a v great mix of flavors and textures. The mushroom pasta was good too.

Two of us split a salad and the burrata (really a second salad), pappardelle with a sweet pepper sauce, and a tiramisu. Delicious! The homemade pasta was nice and tender. I almost gave this place a 5-star rating! My turkey on Dutch crunch was delicious. The turkey was oven-roasted and piled high on fresh-baked Dutch crunch bread. It came with lettuce, tomato, and a tangy mustard that perfectly complemented the other flavors. The chocolate chip cookie was soft, chewy, and loaded with chocolate chips – the perfect sweet treat. The deli itself has a charming, rustic atmosphere with exposed brick walls and wooden tables. My only complaint was the 30-minute wait to get my food. My client and I didn't mind too much since we had plenty to talk about, but we noticed that the staff seemed a bit disorganized and overwhelmed. Perhaps they were short-staffed that day? Regardless, the food was fantastic and I'd definitely go back again (maybe when I have a bit more time to spare!)

This is my favorite gem in Marin. While the rest of the county seems to move into fast-paced retail and corporate business, this Gourmet Deli retains its charm, hospitality, and delicious food. Vegetarian cafe and deli
Davey Jones Deli is a modest counter-serve deli located inside a mini-mart in northern Sausalito. Despite its unassuming location, the deli offers sandwiches and salads made from locally sourced and organic ingredients. The sandwiches are known for their high quality and unique flavors, drawing attention from local TV crews when they first opened. The deli is best for grabbing a hearty sandwich before embarking on outdoor activities like hiking or beach outings.
Awesome wraps! I recently had the pleasure of trying the 'Volcano' veggies wrap, which exceeded my expectations in terms of freshness, juiciness, flavor, and presentation. The service was prompt and efficient, and I was impressed enough to save the location for future visits. My only suggestion for improvement concerns the pricing of add-ons. When I attempted to add protein to my $16 veggie wrap, the $12 charge for beef seemed excessive, bringing the total to $30 after tax. I believe a more reasonable $5 add-on fee would be ideal, even if it means a slightly smaller portion size. Despite this, the quality and taste of the food were exceptional. I appreciate the attention to detail and care in preparing the dish. With a minor adjustment to the add-on pricing, I believe this establishment has the potential to excel even further. Good luck!

I got the Salty yesterday. It was expensive. My fault I didn’t realize it was pricey. Most of their sandwiches are in the teens, mine was $30 While I’d probably opt for any of their other sandwiches in the future… damn the Salty was a tasty sandwich. These guys make a solid brisket sandwich. The staff are friendly too. Great sandwich shop!

If you're looking for a sandwich, look elsewhere. They were out of half the breads they offered on the menu. We resorted to "soft rolls" and they were stale. The amount of meat we were given was abysmal, and the over all taste was pretty terrible.

Amazing wrap, can't recommend enough! I finally got the chance to visit Davey Jones Deli and was not disappointed. My Vulcan sandwich was beyond delicious. The perfect combination of fresh ingredients. The staff were super cool, and though I was a bit distracting with asking a lot of questions, they were kind, patient, and I could feel the passion for the place. I also got to hear about the compassionate sourcing of materials and am so happy about the lower carbon footprint of my sandwich. Can't wait to go back and hope many more get to experience this awesome deli!

Great place to post up and do a little work. The ham and cheese quiche was filling, and the crust was done perfectly. The raspberry peach scone was good too, but I recommend only one pastry unless you’re starving, since they’re filling.

This is my second time at the Firehouse in Sausalito. Today I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Dana. I was on my way to look at an office in Sausalito and as I drove through town I remembered that a year ago I stopped at a very cool cafe. I remembered it because the guy at the counter, D. J. was so kind and helpful, telling me where this and that was around town. He took the time to help me while I was being sort of a tourist. So today I found that cafe again and got some work done there on my Mac. Thank you Dana and D.J. Janette

As a coffee enthusiast I am always looking to support local places that put effort, care, and quality into their coffee. Firehouse does a brilliant job crafting excellent dark roast coffees. The young gentleman barista in the morning makes my flat white so beautifully. Not many places do a flat white so I'm very appreciative. On top of it, service is friendly and warm. Highly recommend and will be back! Many thanks, Emi

Amazing place and a must visit if you’re in Sausalito. I came up here for a day trip and decided to work from the cafe. I had a pumpkin spice latte and a waffle, both which were amazing! The WiFi is great, and bathroom is very clean as well. The staff is very friendly and I loved the vibe. It is a smaller space so can get a little noisy, but still plenty of space to sit and work, and plug points. Would highly recommend and I’ll definitely be here again!

I ordered the churro latte and it was INCREDIBLE. The flavor is rich without being too sweet, just like a fresh churro. You can tell they use high-quality coffee. Cozy vibe and great service.

Plenty of inside and outside seating and friendly people they have couches and wooden tables and desks. My cousin and I got a hot mocha as well as an iced one The hot mocha was perfectly balanced, just a tiny bit on the sweet side, but not in a weird commercial coffee type of way. Mellow middle notes of chocolate. The iced mocha was evenly blended, and there were no granulated pieces of chocolate floating around, which is something I admire. Unrelated: they have a doggie bowl outside for your puppers. And they have snacks for them inside. These are dog friendly people. My only request is to have some savory items inside. I saw a quiche, but I’d love to have a ham and cheese croissant.

Cappuccino was really strong - perfect to my taste. Overall great selection of coffee, tea and quick bites. Comfy mismatched couches to give out cozy feeling. Although, I would really have loved a real cup for a $4 coffee instead of a paper cup, which was little tiny though!

French restaurant
Suzette is a charming bistro that has recently opened its doors, offering a delightful dining experience. The French onion burger and fries with bernaise sauce are highly recommended, accompanied by a glass of red wine for a truly indulgent meal. The cafe also serves an exquisite brunch featuring dishes like Croque Madame, Pain Perdu, and French Onion soup, complemented by Peach Bellinis and cre brulee for dessert.
A Central Spot with Fantastic Food and Warm Hospitality! I recently visited this charming French restaurant with a group of friends, and it was such a delightful experience! When I arrived around 3:00 PM, I asked if they had space for six people. At first, the host seemed a little confused, but he quickly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He even rearranged tables to accommodate us, which we truly appreciated. The service throughout the visit was impeccable—everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! I had the scrambled egg sandwich, and since I’m vegetarian, they happily left out the bacon for me. It’s always nice when a restaurant caters to dietary preferences so effortlessly. To round things off, the coffee was solid—a perfect ending to a wonderful meal. The ambiance was also lovely, making the whole experience even better. Honestly, I can’t understand some of the four-star reviews here. This place deserves at least a 4.5, if not the full five stars! Highly recommend visiting.

The best place in this area. Amazing view, beautiful interior, delicious food, very cozy and good music. The only thing is that we waited longer than usual for our food, but there is one man working at the bar who also acts as a hostess and a waiter in one person. So we were understanding. I recommend trying the apricot dessert. Very cozy place, we will definitely come back here again.

I had a lovely brunch at Suzette with a friend! We both enjoyed our meals- I had the French toast with a cappuccino and she had a crispy omelette with roasted potatoes. Both meals were very well made. The service was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside in the nice weather. The view from the sidewalk was beautiful!

This was our third time at Suzette in Sausalito and it just keeps getting better! The Pain Perdu with berry compote and cream was incredible — crisp outside, soft inside, with the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The Gaufres with fresh berries and cream were light, fluffy, and full of flavor. And the Steak Frites was spot on — tender, perfectly cooked steak with a rich sauce and crispy fries that were addictive. The food is consistently amazing, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is always great. Every bite was a joy. Suzette is easily one of our favorite spots in Sausalito, and we’ll keep coming back!

Delicious lunch!! Fresh, cold oysters, French onion soup excellent ( needs a slice of french bread on side for us non-french crowd😀), and steak and frites were extra yummy!
Rudy R — Google review
Food looks good in the picture but doesn’t taste good at all. Worse ciabatta burger and omelets we had. Mimosa not good at all! Not worth for the price we paid.
Rlene G — Google review
Idk about you, but $36 for 4 scallops feels like a scam. Misleading menu prices, charged more than what the menu said. Nothing special about the food, NOT worth the price. You pay for the view and MOH. Friendly and energetic service, with an expansive view of the bay. $130 for 2 people got us 2 appetizers, a glass of wine, and an extremely stingily portioned entree. Only come here if you're wealthy and can afford anything because it is an absolutely adorable spot.

Fantastic and authentic French. Immaculate and attentive service. Pictures speak for themselves. Recommend you stop by!

Nestled in a cozy corner, The Bump Bar offers an intimate dining experience with just 12 seats that face the bustling kitchen. Guests can indulge in traditional pairings like blini topped with eggs, crème fraîche, and minced red onion or opt for an extravagant seven-course tasting journey. This is a wonderful spot! Wow I was blown away by how delicious this place is. Everything was phenomenal to the food, ambiance, and service. This is not your typical snooty caviar spot- it’s fun and a great atmosphere to meet with friends for a enjoyable dining experience. I loved being able to see the chefs cooking right at the counter. Chef Mathieu was incredibly talented serving us works of literal art. 5 stars!!!

I had the opportunity to share in this experience with my Twin foodie. We started off with the Caviar Quintet and then proceeded to order the ENTIRE small plates menu. It was a culinary journey rooted in love for fresh foods and a passion for food that tastes good. I enjoyed the intimate setting and being able to watch the culinary chef in action as he prepared our dishes. This is a must if you enjoy dining experiences, good food, and good company. The menu changes seasonally so I will be back to experience more unique and flavorful dishes.

We had a wonderful and intimate dining experience at The Bump Bar last night. I loved being able to watch chef Lance as he cooked and plated each dish with so much care. The dishes were works of art and the flavors were exquisite! We left the meal feeling full but not heavy since the food was so clean. Highly recommend for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy a beautiful meal!

The most wonderfully relaxing meal ever. Start with the Caviar trio, end with the duck, and leave your phone at home. Treat yourself and slow down for one beautifully inventive, perfectly executed course after another. Not worthy. Thank you!

Amazing food, service and ambiance! Chef Callan and his team delivered a memorable and exquisite experience. The chefs tasting is the best way to go but if you opt out of that make sure to try Chef Borelli’s Smoked Egg Custard and his take on Steak Tartare. Thank you for such an amazing meal Chef!

Nestled in the charming town of Sausalito, Fish & Chips-Sausalito is a delightful family-run eatery that has been serving up delicious fast food for years. With its eye-catching pastel pink exterior, this spot is hard to miss. Chef Isaac Lappert has crafted a menu that features not only classic fish and chips but also an array of grilled seafood, burgers, and sandwiches like chicken avocado tacos.
Fish & Chips-Sausalito has amazing tacos. We ordered the fish tacos and the beef tacos, and they were both superb! There is very limited seating, but it's in a nice downtown spot with plenty of benches and park tables if you get your food to go. I highly recommend getting the tacos!
Adam G — Google review
The fish and chips were very delicious! 🐟The deep-fried cod was the best—super crispy! A side of fresh-cut potato fries was also very good. I highly recommend trying it! The cashier guy wasn't friendly at all, which was a little disappointing. 😕

Was strolling through the Sausalito neighborhood and decided to stop here for a quick lunch. The location is fantastic, overlooking the bay! Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on weekends. There are a few public lots nearby, but they can fill up quickly. I went on a weekday so I got street parking in a walkable distance. As for the food, I ordered fish and chips and a beer. The portions are generous, making it great value for the price.
Keerthana R — Google review
An amazing experience, the fried fish was perfectly crispy and had a large portion of fish inside, the tartar sauce tasted home made as well. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Got ice cream after and the scoop was HUGE! Worth every penny.
Michael P — Google review
Delicious fish & chips, incredibly friendly staff, and timely service. The fish was cooked and breaded perfectly, with a satisfying crunch in every bite. The price matched the quality of what was served considering the higher prices of other spots along the downtown waterfront. The restaurant is decorated with fish paraphernalia and pieces of historical Sausalito that gives the place a great feel. Overall incredible experience and incredible food.

It is a cozy atmosphere, great service, and very delicious fish and chips 🍟🍤 and seafood tacos with a good variety of yummy sauces 🌮 very kind, and fast service.. and surprisingly, super good gelato🍨🍦 hidden in this small place. Highly recommended for a quick bite or casual lunch near Sausalito Fisherman's Wharf .. free parking outside.

While on a tour, I chose this place to have a quick bite and what a good choice this was. Crisp tasty batter with fresh flaky and juicy cod on the inside. Both the fish and the fries didn’t even need any additional seasoning, it was that good. The fresh lemon 🍋 was all I added. This restaurant is really a good recommendation from me. Great service as well and not a long wait at all.

With an array of cuisines such as Indian, Korean, Filipino, Mexican, and more, visitors can mix and match to create their ideal meal at an affordable price. The event takes place in San Francisco's Fort Mason on Friday evenings and features a large gathering of food trucks.
Attended the Off the Grid event at Fort Mason this past weekend and it was truly an unforgettable experience! San Francisco never ceases to amaze with its vibrant culinary scene and this event was no exception. A plethora of food options to choose from, each one more delicious than the next. The live DJ set the perfect ambiance for a laid-back evening with friends. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this is a must-visit. Hats off to the organizers for such a well-curated event!"

Great fun on Friday nights. Lots of food trucks and free entertainment. Best views in the city and a cool crowd. Get there early to reserve a seat you won’t be disappointed
Richard S — Google review
It's back after a two-year COVID hiatus! First night (4/1/22) was packed! Lively music, dozens of food trucks, an unbelievable variety of food, thousands of people, and even a bicycle valet. The event started at 5:00 pm, but I arrived around half an hour earlier yo snag easy parking in the surrounding neighborhood. It's a 2 hour limit from 8 am - 6 pm, so it was perfect timing. The bathrooms were in between buildings C and D and were clean despite so many people there. A pop up bar was strategically placed in the middle of all the trucks and its seemed like almost everybody a drink in hand. The only ones who didn't had young children in tow. My only complaint: seating us practically nonexistent... The vibe was amazing though, so that made up for it. Bring comfy shoes and be prepared to spend lots of money trying everything out!
John G — Google review
This event is so fun , So many food trucks and variety of food , there’s an Open bar with wines , cocktails and beer 🍻 It’s a dog friendly event . Parking easily gets filled up so I would suggest trying Street parking . There’s live music and lots Seating area .

This is an amazing place to gather on a Friday evening. Great choices of food and live music. My favourite food truck was the Cousins Maine Lobster, their lobsters were so fresh and tasty
Raymond L — Google review
What fun! I hadn't been to an Off the Grid event in a long time. I wanted to avoid the crowds and long lines. I went to OtG at 5:30 on a Friday to find a healthy, but not overwhelming number of people. Half an hour later, there were lines at some of the more popular places like Senior Sisig, but plenty of other tasty trucks where you could walk up and order. I went to Jackrabbit and got some very tasty veggie sliders and cheddar scallion tater tots. You can also buy a VIP pass for $25 that gets you four tastes from marked stands. Fort Mason's OtG has fire pits, live music/ djs, and themed nights. Last Friday's theme was Dog Days of Summer and featured dog training advice, a pet food vendor, and Moose the bulldog. I had a perma-smile from all of the dogs and kids. I don't know if the canine influx had anything to do with the night's theme, or if that's normal. I guess I'll have to go back to find out! One last piece of advice: be sure to wander to the edge of Fort Mason (behind the largest buildings) to view the most incredible sunsets over the Golden Gate Bridge. You can thank me later.
Kristin B — Google review
Music binds the place with tons of food trucks around to sample from. Momo noodles was my favourite along with slider mini burgers from the kabob truck.
Rahul V — Google review
Excellent! There should be more places like this one in San Francisco. There are many food trucks, and free entertainment and music. The only negative aspect is that they close too early.

Very delicious food prepared the way I requested. Had Joe special which was tasty but lacked a bit of seasoning that I added at the table with salt and pepper at the table so not a problem really. Hashbrowns were perfect texture, loved how crispy they came. Pancake was also delicious an perfectly fluffy! Will def return 💯

Decent place! After a nice sunrise photo shoot of the City and bridge, my girlfriend and I stopped by this place since we haven't tried it yet. She got the eggs Benedict, I got the French toast. They were good, but nothing special. The decor was what is most fun about this place. I don't think the menu prices are completely accurate as it says on the table for "menu", so look at the pictures I posted.

Restaurant
Hamburgers 237 is a small establishment in Sausalito that attracts large crowds with its delicious burgers and fries. What sets this joint apart is its unique rotating grill showcased in the window. If you're craving a quality hamburger, this place is highly recommended. You may notice a long queue upon arrival due to its popularity. The burgers here are exceptional, juicy, and generously sized.
This hamburger place in Sausalito is amazing! You can watch them make the burgers through the window and they are delicious. There’s not a lot of seating inside, so you’ll probably have to take it to go. They do have seating, but seems like it can only accommodate 4 people at 2 per table. The staff is good, although not overly friendly, but I can see how they’re heads down with the food and orders. The place is really small, but the experience is great.
Timothy W — Google review
Tried my hand at a Hamburgers grilled burger today and wow definitely one of the best I have had in a while. Locally sourced ground beef for the right amount of juiciness and shaped the patties a little thicker for that nice sear on the outside while keeping the inside tender and flavorful.
Arsalan Z — Google review
The patty was thick and just the right amount of juicy. It wasn’t a particularly memorable burger but it was still yummy. Fries were the perfect fluffy potato-y texture that was still crispy on the outside, although they honestly just tasted like Ore Ida crinkle cut fries to me.
Anna — Google review
Went there today and got their cheeseburger and it was amazing. The burger patty was truly tasty. Totally recommended.
Bardia H — Google review
A nice burger shop. With friendly service and attitude. Shop is not big, it an’t got many seats inside. There is a parking lot across street of it. And a very lovely park nearby. Takeout burgers, and sit by the park, looking through the harbor, beautiful views, cozy weather, it was heavenly!!
TeAn C — Google review
Went here literally 7 years ago (2019) and still think about it (I am from the midwest). Hands down the best burger I have ever had. 100/10 recommend, plus you get to watch the grilling burgers rotate in a window which is fun.
Bailey A — Google review
Service was good, but the burgers were disappointing. You can't see the prices before going inside. The rotating grilling station looks good. There's this "homemade" effort but the meat is overcooked and overseasoned, cheese isn't melted and the inside is cold. Fries were soft, and there's a big amount of it.
Clarisse B — Google review
Awesome burgers, juicy and huge. The Hawaiian Burger had enough freshly cooked bacon on it to make a breakfast by itself. Fries are also good, cut thick and a little crisp. There isn't really any space to eat inside for more than a few people, service was kind of brusque, so you'll want to take your food elsewhere, maybe the nearby park.

Venice Gourmet Delicatessen is an old-school Italian market that not only offers a variety of groceries and cookware but also has an attached pizzeria. The place provides a charming terrace with views of the city, making it a delightful spot to enjoy delicious food at reasonable prices. Customers can savor items like cheese pizza, American style pizza, and the Venice House Special. The deli's offerings include salami sandwiches and mochas as well.
