I cruised over to catch some waves at the beach, kicked back for a solid two hours soaking up the sun. Decided to grab a bite at this rad local joint with killer ocean views. Chilled at the bar, taking in the epic ocean scenery. Met a cool lady next to me, perfect for solo surfers looking to chat. The food was on point, especially the fish and chips - totally hit the spot. You gotta try some of the other tasty items on the menu, it's all listed right here. I love seafood and I love that this place is right in the marina. I visited on a Friday while strolling around the Oceanside marina. First time here and a very positive experience. The menu has daily specials, for Friday it was the sampler platter for $23 (if I remember correctly). The fish and chips were super fresh but could had used more seasoning. Very casual, friendly staff.

The fish and chips are so good and they’re huge. The fries are nothing special but the coleslaw is worth trying. Normally fried food makes me feel gross but since they use avocado oil we had no problems. If you’re in the area definitely try it out!

If you're ever in the Oceanside Harbor, I highly recommend Harbor Fish and Chips. It could be the best I've ever eaten. Delicious food and huge portions ! I also got the Combo this time, with shrimp. I love shrimp and these were excellent. You can also sit outside and watch the boats and birds and quite often, sea lions. Very fun outing for lunch. Afterward you can buy some souvenirs at the nearby little shops.

Came here before heading to the beach. Had the large 3 piece fish dish that came with fries. It was very good. The kids had corn dog and chicken fingers. With a lot of fries. Which was good. Service was ok at the counter. But it was to be expected. I really liked the fish. Price is a little high, but so it the places near by. I do recommend.

Yummy Alaskan cod fish and chips deep fried in avocado oil. We had the three pieces, two pieces with shrimp, and clam chowda. Clow slaw came with the three pieces of cod and was fresh made as it was crunchy and not saturated with mayo. You order up in the front and eagerly await your number to be called. The hot orders of seafood was great. Chowda rivals the best in Boston. The chips was the only thing that lagged at the same level of all the other foods we eat. Malt vinegar, lemons, tartar sauce, and ketchup are great accompaniments. The casual offered seating outside and we enjoyed shaded picnic style tables with great views of the boats and harbor. For credit card purchases, be prepared for a 3% fee.

Casual spot with lots of outdoor and indoor seating. Order at the counter then they call out the number once your food is ready. You get your own utensils, napkins and sauces. Also malten vinegar and hot sauce were on each table. We stopped after a long morning at the beach and it was the perfect vacation lunch with the view and breeze in the marina. Fish and shrimp were light and crispy and my 5 year old ate 2 pieces so you know that's a win! Even though cooked perfectly it was a bit bland to my taste but with tartar sauce it definitely hit the spot. Fries were crispy and cole slaw was fresh. Prices were okay considering the location.

Great little pub with a proper menu and a short but quality craft beer draft list. Nice outdoor patio and a large dining room that looks to be an expansion so this place would work well for large groups. Friendly folk working the bar and tables. Recommended!

Food was nice and hot! To start we had the truffle fries which is a great sized portion, came with a sauce that i enjoyed. Yum! I tried the cajun catfish and it had a nice spice to it. Very good for my first time trying catfish. The catfish was very soft and i enjoyed the creamy Cajun sauce on top. My husband had the house bolognese and that was very tasty! This is a great place to try if you are visiting Oceanside. It was recommended to us by a local 🙂

We went here for happy hour. The burger was mediocre - more bun than patty. The truffle fries were great. Deviled eggs are a pretty purple color, and the bacon grits were fine. It ended up being $50 for 2 without drinks. Staff is prompt.

We had a birthday reservation for the 7 of us, and were seated immediately. They wished happy birthday to the guest of honor and took our drink orders and had them back in a flash. The food order went in without a hitch. Everyone agreed: the food was delicious! Great time.

In the area exploring Oceanside and was pulled in by the name of this place! The food was excellent. Can wholeheartedly recommend the PEI Mussels Jambalaya and Tri-Tip sandwich. The lovely lady serving us knows the menu very well and her pep was certainly appreciated. Great service!

It’s a thin beef patty, a thin pork patty, bourbon bacon onion jam, and white cheddar on a delicious bun. I’d say it earns an A- for flavor with a great taste that could come on even stronger. The meat is regionally sourced, the burgers are clearly house made, and the cheese is perfectly melted. Who knew California could do a burger so well? The truffle fries and accompanying aioli are also delectable so treat yourself to that up charge. The inside feels a little fancy for a pub but dining outside seems more So-Cal anyway. Especially with an impatient driver yelling not-so-politically-correct things at pedestrians that snapped right back with their own insults. Dinner and a show!?! I wasn't sure what to expect from this place but being an Oceanside local I felt like we needed to try it at some point or another and I'm happy we did. The drinks were a little different for my taste but that doesn't mean they were bad by any means. The food was delicious. Especially the herb mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese. I like the crispiness of the fried chicken but wish it had a little more flavor to the batter. We Had No Reservations on a Saturday evening and were able to get seated right away which was nice. The server was fantastic and checked on a several times and made sure to fill up our Waters as it was definitely a warmer day. There's a real sense of community at this restaurant and I enjoy that. Overall it was a great experience.

This is a really nice bakery. I stopped by to get a few sweets for a birthday celebration and I was very impressed with the slices of cake. I got the key lime tower which was my favorite! It had the gram cracker bottom and tasted amazing. We also tried the berry dessert special, as well as the strawberry passion. All 3 were delicious. The girl serving me was fast and friendly, the dining area was clean, and the coffee was on point. Definitely a nice spot to visit when passing through.

We have loved Petite Madeline for a long, long time. So when we decided to get married, we knew there was only one option for the cake and desserts at the reception. We fed everyone a huge meal and then brought out the desserts. And they were gone in a short amount of time. Everyone we talked to said, “Oh, this is so good!” I was really surprised how fast the desserts and cake got eaten after how much food everyone already ate. But it is because Petite Madeline knows how to make people happy. They know how to make good food that is not dessert, too. We eat there frequently, and we always love it. Their Benedicts are so delicious. Their Greek bowl is incredible. Their waffles are tasty. Their coffee is perfect. Their tea is excellent. My only problems with Petite Madeline are that they don't have a location right next door to me and they aren't open 24 hours.

For our weekly coffee date, my wife and I enjoyed a moment at Petite Madeline Bakery. The service was quick. It felt good to receive a refill on coffee. It’s such a cute and nice place to eat right off of coast highway in Oceanside. The food was delicious, staff were nice, and they had so much seating inside. The pastries they offered were so cute and delicious! I took my mom here for Mother’s Day breakfast….definitely recommend!

I came for the pancake breakfast with bacon and eggs. Everything was good except the bacon. It tasted different. Perhaps it wasn't pork. I didn't get any pastries but will next time. They looked really good. You order and pay at the counter. Grab your napkins, silverware, and water at the self serve station then grab a table. They will bring your order. I would come back to give the pastries a try.

Spacious brewery with an impressive selection of beers and a tasty menu. The beer is really the star of the show here. Most of their many many beers can be ordered as a tiny taster, a half hour, a full pour, and in some cases, a boot! I had 3 half pours (the wEYEssbier, the worker bee, and the three beagles brown), all of which were great. For my meal, I ordered Saucy Frites to start, which came with fried cheese curds in a rich mushroom and rosemary gravy. I followed that up with their chicken and biscuits and yet more fries. Everything was good, but I felt both the Frites and chicken biscuits needed something to kick their flavors up a notch. I found myself looking for some heat or sweetness from the chicken, and some sharpness from the Frites. I will go back here if I am looking to drink a lot of really good, varied beers, and it seems like a great spot to drink with friends!

Stopped by here in recommendation from a local. It was a good stop. They have a good selection of beers ... (I also had a Michelada); the drinks we had were pretty good! The place looked small on the outside but was pretty big inside, more like a beer hall in the back and lots of space.

Swung in for lunch on our way to San Diego. I was blown away by its size of this place. From the minute we walked in our experience was amazing. We got a quick tour of the entire facility, this place is huge, i cannot tell you how many different areas there are to hang out. We started with a flight and an order of wings. Wings were delicious with their home made blue cheese. We also ordered a gluten free pizza, if i hadn’t ordered it i wouldn’t have believed that it was GF. Overall our time here was a success.

Great place that stayed open later than other breweries and had really good service. The beers tasted great and had some fun types I've never had, like corn beer (which was good)! The atmosphere here is the star in my opinion, big open tables span the length of the room There are big garage like windows on rollers that basically make the whole place a patio when they are open, loved it!

Pros: Super fun atmosphere right off Pacific Coast Highway, two stories with an ocean view, great variety draughts and in-house beers, extensive menu with something for everyone, dog-friendly, hopping music. Cons: Perhaps not so kid-friendly (no kids menu), food is all very good across the board but not necessarily mind-blowingly 5-star in my opinion, smaller dishes that I didnt think I should be paying $16 for, music could have been a bit louder. This place is such a cool spot in downtown Oceanside. We take our kids here often, and our 3 year old frequently asks to go because he loves their “Little Bees,” menu, particularly the cheeseburger (it’s delicious)! Great space if you have kids because they have plenty of room to run around. The beer is good, all the food I’ve tried is great, and the owners are gracious hosts. Bonus… they have an indoor bike parking area so you don’t have to worry about your two wheels.

I dined at Wrench and Rodent in Oceanside yesterday, and it was truly unforgettable! The food was exquisite, showcasing a brilliant blend of flavors. We sat under a beautiful fig tree outside, which added to the charm of our experience. Our server, Reirá Rose, was a gem—attentive and friendly, plus a talented poet! Celebrated my husband’s birthday here and the food was great. We both got specials and shared nigiri and it was all great. I also loved the Wrench 75 cocktail, it was done properly and tasted amazing. The second one I had with a rosemary sprig and it was awesome. Highly recommend this place for a special occasion if you like seafood!

This place has the best sushi in north county San Diego that I’ve ever had. I did omakase and was not disappointed. Every dish was better than the last. I lost count of how many dishes were brought for us to try. The ceviche was creative and I loved the little pieces of apple in it. The yellowtail was beautifully done and I loved the local heirloom tomatoes they added to the plate. The cauliflower was creative and had the best flavor. The green lantern roll was my favorite but I also loved the hedge hog roll. The service was superior and my table was constantly surprised with the next dish to try. I would definitely recommend this place. I sat out front and it was a beautiful evening. I do recommend a reservation as it gets busy. I can’t wait to go back.

Our first trip was a surprise after I secured coverage to watch our 6 & 7 year old one night before our 11 year anniversary. Some app offered 50 bucks off a 150 tab. We tried hard and even though the food was amazing, and drinks were tasty, we struggled to hit 150 and I happily covered the tried to spend more than the139.99 tab. 2nd night we went right back when my wife's surprise hit, and we had our second night out without kids. (It is kid friendly but our culinary experience was kid free) All day we talked about how delishious the wings of the sea appetizer was. We talked about the creative menue that changes based upon what was the most fresh. We both agreed that even though the taste, texture, presentation, and deivery/ service from the night before was unmatched we had to try more. We tried to order a little bit of everything from the menue, and every dish equally impressed. I even bugged my friends to tell them how amazing the food, service, and quality were. The people mentioned below had a major impact the first and or second night. Glenn, Shaeahn, Gabe (especially Gabe) turned a culinary experience into a feeling of comfort, care, compassion with a true appreciation for what the chef has created. Down right amazing. A top spot in all of San Diego! Cannot beat the sushi rolls. Quality food that will have your mind blown with flavor. The Hedgehog and Dragonfly are some of our favorites! Definitely a local favorite so make reservations as soon as you can.

We moved here 9 years ago and wandered into this little spot called Wrench and Rodent and kept coming back. This place has the most wonderful servers and the atmosphere can go either moody or bright depending on if you sit inside or outside. My husband and I have sat everywhere but don’t skip out on the bar. As someone who gets overwhelmed sitting at tables and the noises of others eating or clinking dishes, the corner of the bar is our go to spot. I feel secluded and less stressed when eating out. Also outside is lovely. As for food, 10/10….no…12/10 haha my husbands go to is the Asian pickled eggs and I love their crunchy garlic albacore, I can’t remember the name but it’s on the specials menu and I crave it every day! Try everything, it’s all good! Anyways, favorite restaurant in Oceanside and their fish is always the best!

Great place to stop for a traditional breakfast. Outdoor seating covered. A little bit of a wait but worth it. Friendly and welcoming service. Plates are full/nice size portions. Their pancakes 🥞 ARE fluffy, you can actually share the short stack (2). The 🥓 bacon and corn beef hash and eggs 🤤. Their vanilla had me 3 cups in (and I'm not a coffee ☕ drinker).

One of the better breakfast options in Oceanside. Located right on HWY 101 it’s not very far from the ocean and carries that casual, beachy feel to the restaurant. It’s quite large on the inside with many different sitting areas as well as covered outdoor seating, which is where we sat for our breakfast. There is a large free parking lot in back so parking was really easy. Our waiter was also very polite and the service was very fast. Only downside was we had to wait about 30 mins to be seated for a party of 4 for our Saturday morning brunch. For my first visit I chose the Santa Fe Scramble and loved it. The chorizo was perfectly spicy and it was a large sized portion. I opted for the free Coffee Cake on the side and thought it was one of the best Coffee Cakes that I have had in a very long time. It was moist and full of cinnamon flavor and the glaze on top was warm and just mixed so well with it. I would not miss it! Overall a great breakfast spot. I don’t drive up to Oceanside often but next time I do I would definitely consider eating here again and would recommend to anyone else in the area.

Had the best bonding time with my granddaughter today! We enjoyed a lovely breakfast together 🥞🍳🍽️☕😋🥓. The beach vibes of the restaurant were just delightful! Our server, Kelly, was super friendly and really engaged with us. We definitely had a wonderful and filling breakfast!

After a 20 min wait we sat outside on patio. Quaint surf beach cafe setting. Friendly and efficient service. I had a very delicious omelette with perfectly crisp hash brown potatoes. The coffee cake was light but a bit on the sweet surgery side.

Great spot for breakfast or early lunch. The food is delicious, the menu is large, but not overbearing, and the service was attentive and friendly. The coffee cake was outstanding, as was my meal. My eggs and sausage were cooked perfectly. I love the So-Cal surfing/skateboarding theme to the inside of the restaurant. There is pictures,articles, and memorabilia hung to observe and read to keep you occupied while you wait. It was busy but the turnover was fast and while eating I didn't feel rushed by waitstaff.

Very loud atmosphere, have to talk at a elevated level to be able to hear who’s sitting across from you. Wasn’t too amazed by the food, it wasn’t bad just nothing spectacular. would definitely come here if you have friends or family that like a more simple food.

This was our first visit here and we loved it . The atmosphere is definitely awesome . Skateboards , surfboards and tons of photos of surfing as decor , definitely California. Very Clean and staff always made sure coffees full and we had everything we needed. For sure a locals place , it seemed everyone knew each other. Ordered Avocado toast and fruit and I’m pretty picky about my avocado toast this was perfect !!! ABC omelette was ordered as well and it was great . Will definitely be going back .

It's pretty good food. Our kids loved the kids menu, my husband wasn't too excited about the menu options. I thought it was good, not great but good. Our kids were pretty confused & unhappy about the obvious male server whom was trying to act & look like a female. I tried to explain it but that part was difficult. My husband & I didn't appreciate that part. Our server lady was truly generous & friendly. We were there as tourists for the weekend but definitely won't be back. It's not worth it.

We went to Hello Betty on Easter Sunday, hoping for a quick lunch. The place wasn't very busy, but we were told by the hostess that we still had to put our names on the waiting list. Looking at all the empty tables was puzzling, but we weren't in any rush so put our names in. About 10 minutes later, we were seated and waited for our server. Long story short, they were understaffed for a holiday weekend. Our server was nice and kept apologizing but was as attentive as possible under the circumstances. I will say that the food was good. The clam chowder could've been hotter. We split a tuna melt with fries. The tuna melt was made perfectly to my husband's specifications with grilled parmesan cheese on the bread. It was very yummy. The ambiance was chill and quiet, like a sleepy, rainy afternoon on the coast. In all fairness, this place is good, so other than the staffing issues that day, I would still recommend it.

Parking very inconvenient. Hostess was not at door to welcome us and guide us to our seats, we had to wait like 5 minutes for her to poke her head out. No complimentary chips no nothing. 3% surcharge not cool. It's not the customer's fault the owner wants to be cheap and not pay his great employees well. With the prices on the menu he should be able to afford to pay them well. The server didn't ask us how we wanted the burger meat cooked had to return it and have it made to our liking. Lemonade is delicious. The Salmon burger was very tasty and full of flavor not fishy at all but a bit on the salty side for my taste. However, it was good the Asian slaw and the wasabi made for great companion to my salmon. Enjoyed the chips and not the fries the salsas were great. Chips are good quality but not made in house. The 1/2 pound burger is AMAZING if your into a good burger this one will definitely satisfy your craving. Fries were fried and reheated to many times they finally brought us some fresh ones and they were really good. Good cocktail and drink options. Strongly disagree with the 3% surcharge to support California living wage.

The location is right next to the beach, but food is really not the best. The tortillas for our tacos were so stale and hard. The drinks were delicious and our waitress was a bit overwhelmed due to a party upstairs. Hope to catch them on a better day.

Rooftop dining area is refreshing. Has a nice view all around. There are tables or if you’re lucky you can get a booth. Tacos are good but def lacking protein. The blonder sundae is def the business! Service was excellent.

I love their bomb fries, the drinks are cool, but there’s better around. It’s right across the street from the beach. Service is good, prices for the tacos are a little steep. Some are $7 for one taco, but this is right across from the beach, so makes sense. It’s good for a treat every so often.

We needed a place on our way to the beach that had a good variety of food. I really wanted fish tacos, the grilled ahi was great! Two Large pieces of fish made the $20 price a little more understandable. The ambience was nice outside, you can watch people walk by and see the water. The salsa bar was great, so many different flavors. It was busy but there is a lot is seating so we got right in! My only feedback is it was run down, needs a face lift, paint, update to bathroom. I would go back.

Went for happy hour and Kelsey was absolutely amazing and delightful. She filled glasses without request, chips were fresh and seasoned to perfection, Salsa variety didn't disappoint and the food was amazing. Mahi mahi taco has great flavors. Happy hour prices were reasonable for appetizers and drinks $46. Great customer service.

Delicious mango salsa! We got the queso fundido and corn ribs and both were soooo tasty! It was the perfect place to sit and watch the sunset and connect. The staff was excellent, super friendly, and the prices were totally fair, would recommend anyday!

This place was confusing. Maybe because it was a Friday night? The hostess was distracted, the server took a long time to get our drink order then a while longer to get our food order. The food came fairly quick, and it was good. They brought chips with no salsa, later we asked about salsa and that's when they told us there is a salsa bar inside, if we didnt ask, we never would have known. It was a Friday night so they had live music, but we were placed outside. We were in oceanside for a week and hit all the restaurants on this side of the harbor. We probably won't go here next time.

I know this place is only open because the location. The food is ok I guess. But they take forever. They are extremelly slow and the place was not even packed. We ordered mac and cheese with fruit for my son. This is what you get for $10. The kids drinks is not included. Another $4 for a drink. So $14 for Box mac and cheese and one old orange. They also charged me $5 for this water bottle.

We haven't been to this location for a while; it's still worth it. The prices have increased just like most restaurants, but the meal is worth it. We ordered the Big Baja Bucket for two people. Plenty of shrimp, rock lobster, grilled chicken, carne asada, endless refried beans & rice. Tortillas, grilled corn, salad and fried ice cream are added to round out the meal. Outdoor patio seating is a great choice.

Stopped here for lunch as we were on the beach and browsing the shoppes and stopped in for lunch. My wife had the Salmon and mixed vegetables. The salmon was underwhelming in taste the vegetables were very flavorful. I had the club sandwich which was the same, underwhelming and tasteless. The sweet potato fries were delicious. The Bloody Mary was spot on. Service was fantastic as well as the harbor views and ambience. We’ll be back to try other menu items(hopefully more tasty than our previous choices) as you can’t beat this location!!

Food was excellent. We had oysters on the half shell, oysters Rockefeller, fried calamari to start. Oysters were fresh and came with great sauces. Party had surf n turf, with a perfectly cooked steak and a perfectly cooked lobster tail. Fettuccine Alfredo with mixed seafood. Luis' Especial. Fishermans fry. Everyone agreed the food was amazing and looked forward to coming again.

Had a great Friday evening here with a friend, the views and atmosphere were immaculate! I had the ceviche and clam chowder and my friend regularly comes here for the oysters. The staff was very friendly and service was great. Would definitely come back again or bring people visiting from out of town.

My son and I were visiting Oceanside, California from Las Cruces, New Mexico. The Lighthouse Oyster Bar and Grill was the first restaurant we attended once we got into town. Our server named Chuy was very attentive and answered all of our questions. We started out sitting at the stool bar top overlooking the harbor. It started to get chilly after ordering appetizers so Chuy suggested we move to a table as it would be warmer for us. He was very accommodating with a delightful and charming personality. Went there yesterday about 3:00 wasn't that hungry so we both had a white clam chowder and a shrimp cocktail that we shared. The soup was just lukewarm we had to send it back to the kitchen and of course they brought us the exact same bowls out, microwaved I'm assuming because our little crackers were still in there. And let's talk about those crackers do not open them up and put them in your soup it would be like putting rocks in there they are so hard you can't even crack them. The shrimp was medium size and really nothing special. If you're craving shrimp go to the broiler, a block or two away have jumbo for the same price. Would I go back naaaa. Nice view I must say it's great for the tourist just needs to have better food.

Truly fantastic Korean Beef Short Rib Grilled Cheese and Short Rib French Dip sandwiches! They offer an amazing array of creative, delicious dishes made with high quality ingredients. The Caesar Salad is superb and not just an afterthought like many places. Compliments to the chef! The service is very good, and there is an excellent range of beer types on tap.

We came for our weekly new spot to try for Lunch 4/7/25 and we chose this beautiful restaurant. I have drove by so many times and never actually stopped . But today was the day ❤️ We had to try the Mac and cheese with the fried chicken 🍗 on top and it was so creamy and crunchy. Definitely try this you won’t be disappointed. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air and the sun ☀️ Jessica was our waitress and she was so kind and attentive. We will be back ❤️

Stopped here for a pint, didn’t disappoint. Extensive craft draft list with some unique offerings. On the pricier side, so with tax the average pint will be around $10. Big open and airy space when the weather is nice. Staff are young locals, place can get pretty busy, food looked good but didn’t eat.

Excellent food and drink selection. Large burgers, fresh ingredients. They were also happy to accommodate our modifications like lettuce wrap for the burger and bacon on the side for Brussels sprouts. Awesome fish stew, very light and fresh with shrimp, clams, and salmon in a light, slightly creamy base with fresh herbs, and naan bread. Brussel sprouts were crispy and great flavor. Burger was cooked as requested. Service was a slow, and our waitress may have lost our order because larger parties seated near us were served significantly before us. But she didn’t say anything. It was a disappointment, but she seemed to be more than a server (possibly an owner) so it wasn’t treated as-if it was a problem and said nothing. Very busy all the time. Very loud inside so it was hard to talk. Cannot make reservations online. They only take reservations if you can catch them by phone. Don’t call and leave a message they ignore those. Otherwise you’re on the manual queue when you check-in at the hostess station. Also small parking lot next to the building (~25 spots), but may have to find street parking. Can recommend for the food alone it was worth the wait, if you’re not in a hurry!

Went here for a Moms night out. The food was amazing! I made reservations about a week prior with no issues. Service was great! Atmosphere was fun. Little loud but we were there in the evening. Plan to go again for a date night! Great variety of food and drinks.

Went to LTH with my wife and kid to have brunch that they stop serving at 11am for some idiotic reason. Then after my wife asked for the avo toast sandwich, the waitress charged us $3 for the salad that was supposed to come with the meal. Then we were charged $2 for for the Aioli sauce that again said it came with it. I paid for it because I didn't care to deal with the back and forth haggle. However the prices will keep me away and this experience didn't help.

It was not a “Perfect Breakfast Sandwich”(as described on the menu), but it was a good sandwich. The breakfast potatoes were very good. Coffee was good at self serve. Good Oceanside harbor location, fairly neat eating area. This is self seating, counter order, with meal served. Parking can be tight, it’s a fairly restricted area.

Had a lovely morning at Stratford at the Harbor. Loved my coffee and the quaint atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The staff was so sweet and kind. They were smiling and friendly, despite being very busy. We really enjoyed everything. Can't wait to go back again soon!!

It's a small restaurant and can get loud with all the guests. You order at the counter and has a self serve coffee and soda station. The food was really good and I love how most of the dishes come with a freshly baked coffee cake.

I had been wanting to try this place for quite sometime. We finally caught them when they were open. Yay. We love fish and chips and thought let's try them here..... we had the ones next door which are amazing and a lot. We ordered and when the fish arrived I thought wow these look filling. We, filling is what these fish and chips lacked. To our dismay we had more breading than fish. Even the tempura wasn't all the way cook though because it was still wet on the fish. 😕. We will try this place again for breakfast, but won't eat the fish.

Absolutely delicious. Two Mother's Days in a row, we've made this place out brunch spot. So sweet, the server recognized us this year from last year. A glass of champagne and a creme brulee for the mama on Mother's Day. The food is spectacular.

For my first time I went with my friends and family. We ordered the master burger, the wings, buffalo and barbecue. We also ordered a wedge salad and a cocktail and the food and the service was phenomenal. The server Jon was amazing and the owner Greta was very welcoming and constantly made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant is beautiful. The lighting is amazing. The kitchen is also visible and it’s also pet friendly.

Went here for breakfast. My goodness was this place really good. Not only was the service amazing the food and drinks were great. The inside was very clean and nice climate considering it’s so close to the beach. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast the carnitas chilaquiles are very good but very filling too. Thank you for an awesome time.

Their customer service is excellent, and staff are very welcoming. The atmosphere and seating is nice. Food is good, a bit expensive, and the stuffed mushrooms were only small 5 pieces for $16.

We have periodically visited Masters for date nights at the bar, drinks with friends, and brunch with the family. Every time we have gone we've enjoyed the staff being so polite and helpful. We try to get something different to eat every time we go. We've had Masters burger, shrimp tacos, filet mignon, truffle fries, masters brussels, pasta, etc. Everything has been delicious! And the mussels are always a winner! The bartenders have always been great! I love sitting at the bar and just watching them mix their drinks. The Caipirinha is my favorite!

Wife and I checked this out for Sunday lunch. Had some concerns as many local places in the area seemed full and lines outside, but Masters was not. However the setting and environment was perfect. Patio has heating so that even if the ocean breeze gets chilly, the heaters are set just perfectly to get you warm without making it hot. TVs near the bar area are huge if your looking for that, but not loud or intrusive to the dining experience. Got the Masters Burger (Juicy, flavorful and well balanced with sauces/toppings. Truffle fries were perfectly crispy and light, but lacking in flavor.) Wife got the Carnitas Chilaquiles (She was intrigued with the ingredients, but it didn’t pan out as tasty as she was hoping.) Service was good, but not as friendly as I would have anticipated. Most help introduce themselves and such, but ours just got down to business and checked in periodically. (I did notice the staff was all guys). They stayed on top of making sure things were done but the warm hospitality was missing. With such a great venue, setup and menu, I expected excellent, but got “good”. Might be willing to come back and give dinner a try. (will update review if we do)

Granted at non-fish specializing places, poki can be hit and miss and unfortunately it was a miss here. The quality of the fish was subpar and the dish was lacking flavor. The burger, fries and tacos (black bean and shrimp) and drinks were tasty. The staff was friendly

We walked by shortly after they opened and they welcomed us graciously even without a reservation. It’s very clear though that it’s best to make a reservation for the future, as this is a very busy restaurant. The staff were very kind, and the food service was quick! Food was excellent and filling, and in my opinion, the prices were fair. Overall a great time. Just a note, I think I would try a different skewer in the future because while the tuna was good, I think it lacked a little flavor compared to the other dishes we ordered.

Food is delicious, here’s why: - flavor combination and balance is spot on and the dishes are great if your looking for dishes/flavors you won’t find at most other restaurants - great variety of dishes without having an overwhelming menu. I’d say there is something for everyone. There are lighter dishes like the roti and papaya salad and heavier and spicy ones like the eggplant (chefs kiss, fr). - portions are good, as in, not too small, but also not too large. We had just enough of a dish and had room to keep trying other dishes. - ok ok the dessert is perfection, please get it My favs so far have been the roti with both dipping sauces (one is spicy), the eggplant (spicy), the beef tartar, and the ayam penyet (fried chicken dish). The papaya salad was delicious and refreshing, however I was expecting sweet, orange papaya and I think this used green papaya, perhaps both? Good, bright lime flavor. Make reservations in advance, street parking should be easy to find. Bar is for walk-in’s, but it stays pretty busy here. Happy dining!

I really enjoyed this place! But the experience could have been a little better. First id like to tip my hat to the chef. The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was a 10 out of 10. Exquisite. But, the service lacked a little. We didn't see her much. I wanted drink refills and didn't get them. It was our 19th year anniversary and my wife's birthday so I was hoping the experience could have been better. The dining area is rather small but that was OK. Parking was easy to find but could be limited due to the street location. I'll definitely come back and try the experience again. (Try the eggplant!)

We had a wonderful date night dinner, small delicious mouthwatering plates! The pumpkin-vanilla-coconut dessert blew my mind.. even though Im not a dessert person! Ambience and service was exactly perfection!

Food was good. I ate everything from pork belly skewer to chicken thigh skewer and the beef rendang along with the extra coconut rice. A server asked me after putting away my dishes if I liked it and I gave her a curt “yeah” and I am sure she took it as “not really” lol. I ate everything therefore I liked it! lol. I had no reservation so I had to wait 45mins to get in. It was worth it. They’re fully booked tonight and some showed up like me with no reservation. The Pineapple juice was good. My bill was $81.19 for myself. I ate alone. I made it an even $100.00 with the tip.

Highly recommend Dija Mara in Oceanside. The food was amazing and designed to share. Everything we ate was delicious with the perfect amount of spice. Great atmosphere, hospitality and service. We got the Grilled Roti (LOVED), Gado Gado, Beef Rendang, and Whole Fried Market Fish. We also tried the chef's special coconut and pumpkin (panna cotta like) fall desert! Will definitely be going back for this before it's gone. Grab some friends or your special someone and make a reservation asap. You will not be disappointed.

The food is just AMAZING. What Chef Waite and his team are able to create with plants is a testament to what is possible. The flavors and textures of something as simple as the roasted carrot dish which looked and tasted beautiful was delicious. Don’t miss the eggplant dish which was equally beautiful and had a variety of textures and flavors. The service was great and it was clear the care that went into preparing these dishes. Plan to go back again soon and try more menu items .

My husband and I traveled from OC to Oceanside (over an hour's journey) to try this place, and the service from the waitstaff was wonderful! The food was spectacular! The vegan corn is 100% recommended! For dessert, we had lemon pie! I love how they present the dishes and inform you that they use local products and vegetables from their own garden! I adore the organic experience! I will definitely return for brunch in the coming weeks! We're completely delighted!

The Plot is easily the best vegan dining in San Diego. Every dish is full of flavor and creativity, and the chefs make the experience feel special. The Plot has a lot going for it. Overall, I’d rate the food a 4/5—everything was flavorful and well-prepared, but the waffle was a little too hard for my taste since I prefer soft waffles. That aside, the service and atmosphere were both a 5/5. The staff was attentive and welcoming, and the vibe of the restaurant made the whole experience enjoyable. I’d definitely go back again for the great service and environment, and to try more of what they offer.

My husband and I came here for the first time for a Sunday brunch. A friend recommended this place and it was delicious! We had the breakfast bowl and the shakshuka and everything was so fresh, flavorful and delicious. The portions were perfect and the menu was interesting and innovative. Some of the best plant based food we’ve ever had. We also had the ice tea lemonades which were so refreshing. We were served by the lovely Ruby and she made great recommendations and was so nice. Parking is easy. The interior is airy, modern and relaxing. We would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to come back next time we’re in the area.

Awsome food in a very cool spot. My son and I order all off-menue specials and they were all excellent. The staff was very friendly, and the vibe of the place was excellent with art all over the walls. The food did take a bit on the longer side to come out (the only thing close to an issue) but nothing too unreasonable give the quality and everything being made to order.

We loved our meal at Rosewood Kitchen. I had the birria ramen. It was the BEST! I loved the addition of homeny and nopales!! Everything we had was delicious!! Definitely recommend stopping by!!

A lovely oasis in Oceanside, we ate in the outside arena and had a delicious lunch. The beer selection was fairly extensive. I enjoyed a hazy IPA. We had a vegan in our midst, who got a plate full of toasted veggies and a "side" salad of substantial portion. Other son had a seafood spaghetti which disappeared with alacrity. Mama enjoyed the soup and salad, and my fish Tacos were wonderful, with a really delicious frijole refrito and salsa. Service was great; checking in frequently and keeping the water flowing. Great reggae playing softly in the background. I wish we lived closer! Recommended for the family!

Reviewing for food ordered next door from Booze Bros. Had Rosewood tonight. We always go to Booze Bros next door and order through the handy order screen there. Today we ordered at 6:06pm. At around 7:10pm, I went next door to Rosewood to find out what was going on. After a few minutes of waiting in an empty restaurant, someone emerged carrying food. Once I could be helped, I was told there had been a staff emergency, but our food would be brought out immediately. To their credit, we had our food less than 10 minutes later. Our food was tepid, limp and was missing extras ordered. Easily the worst meal eaten either in establishment or next door. We were assured it hadn't been sitting long, but tepid ramen and cold, limp garlic noodles suggest otherwise. After speaking with the staff, we were told our meal - or a portion thereof - would be refunded, and that if it wasn't, we should visit tomorrow. Which is worrying for them to have to mention. I get emergencies and unforseen situations, but they should not be something to briing a place to its knees because of inadequate emergency procedures. If Rosewood keep their promise without me having to revisit them, I'll up this to 3 stars. If I were Booze Bros, I'd be worried about aligning myself with a place that cannot consistently provide good food at a good price in a timely manner. I'll be sure to let them know

Rosewood Kitchen is one of the coolest spots I’ve been to in Oceanside. The food is top-tier, super flavorful, fresh, and you can tell they put real care into every dish. I’ve been a few times now and it never disappoints. What really makes this place special is the art. The whole space feels like a gallery, and the artwork by Vesalius is next-level. It’s bold, emotional, and just stunning to look at. You don’t usually get to see internationally recognized art like that while grabbing lunch or dinner. Great vibes, great food, and amazing art — definitely worth checking out.

These pies were delicious, cooked fresh light, and crispy. Great size for a quick snack and love that it came in 3's. Located at the top gun house so it was cool just to take pics there while you snacked on a yummy dessert. They also have lots of outside seating.

This historic house famously featured in the original Top Gun movie with Tom Cruise, adds a cinematic charm to the experience. Inside, you’ll find a cozy setting filled with vintage and antique decor, creatively mixed with photos and memorabilia from the film. It’s like stepping onto a movie set with a side of dessert. The star of the show here is the delicious little hand-held pies, served warm with a dusting of powdered sugar. There’s a variety of flavors to choose from. We tried the apple and cherry, and both were absolutely delicious and just the right size for a satisfying treat. Their fruity drinks were a hit with us too. Whether you’re a Top Gun fan or just in the mood for a great dessert with an Ocean view, High Pie is a charming stop that’s well worth the visit!

For those a fan of the Top Gun movies, this is a must visit. On top of that, the pies were actually really good as well as the organic creamy straus soft serve they sell. I was originally going for the apple pie a la mode but they were out. So I ended up getting just one small apple pie and a side of soft serve ice cream. Me and my partner really loved the apple pie bites we ordered more to go. I don’t know what people are expecting and why such low reviews but I definitely thought it was worth the stop and the desserts didnt disappoint.

These were so yummy! Perfect size and great flavor! I got the cherry but other got apple and strawberry rhubarb and they loved theirs. The house was also adorably nostalgic with a great location.

All the pies are delicious, I personally like the apple and blueberry ones .. the whoopie pie was outstanding too!! I’m a coffee lover and it was great too… the service was great and I think the pies are perfectly portioned!! I tried all the different types and I absolutely loved them… plus the “Top Gun” house movie reference was good..

Overall cool experience. The pies were kinda small, but tasty. Some of them came on a stick, so it’s freat to give to the kiddos. They also had their version of a ding dong, & that was almost better that the pie.

Don’t understand the low reviews. It’s a nice spot to swing by if you’re in the area. Definitely not a spot I would go out of my way to visit. Prices aren’t bad. It’s $3 for a small pop tart and $3 for a cup of coffee. People pay way more at other tourist spots. Kids loved it. Get the apple pie. Come and get some pies, a coffee and a display of Top Gun memorabilia with a dash of nostalgia. Hot guys spiking volleyballs on the beach are not included.

We had an incredible anniversary at Valle! So here’s the scoop, we visited a few months back and our experience wasn’t bad, but we left a little underwhelmed. We decided to give it another go, and it completely exceeded expectations! The service was top notch, many of the meals left us speechless, and the overall experience was a solid 10/10. No doubt we will be back again!

An experience that will not be forgotten!! For a birthday dinner!! Sat down at bar for a drink, quickly took us through to our table. We started with our 7 course meal. You would think you would not be full, so not the case!! Was waited on hand and foot!! Every meal brought out was explained. Did not do wine pairing. We were offered a fascinating tour of the kitchen and met the chef. You could eat off the floor!! Highly recommend!! Would visit again!! Thank you for an amazing time!!

A very gorgeous restaurant indeed, right by the boardwalk in Oceanside. Lovely wine selection as well, all hailing from Mexico. With the food - it felt all too heavily sauced, which masked and overpowered a lot of the flavors. The least favorite dish was the onion (though love the caviar!) and the most enjoyable dish was the bao bun or the dessert. This was a business dinner where we had a small hiccup with the payment at the end, causing a really awkward end to the meal. The demeanor of our server had immediately changed so what was an otherwise pleasant evening, ended kind of sour.

It wasn’t great… hear me out. Four course pairing with wine pairing. Wine pours are somewhere between 0.4-1.0 ounce, which barely gives you enough to taste the wine let alone enjoy it with the dish being served. The steak came out cold and lacked any level of flavor. We did the uni topping on the bone marrow tartare, and tasted very odd (we’ve had uni many times). Service was good, likely the main reason this is Michelin. I wouldn’t go back to be honest. Wasn’t worth the money.

I’ve never written a review the same night as my dining experience. But after seeing some of the other reviews for this establishment, I felt obligated to share my experience while it is fresh in my memory. Tonight’s experience was incredible that checked the boxes for what you would expect from a Michelin star: food, variety, flavor, depth, service, atmosphere. With 8 courses plus some extras in-between, each dish provided a lovely experience with textures and flavors so it didn’t feel like a monotonous mess of gastronomy. Also despite smaller portions, which I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber, I felt the total portion was more than adequate. Service was excellent, friendly, and professional. It was a privilege to be able to visit and to meet the chef in the kitchen at the end of the evening. Do me a favor and don’t listen to the negative reviews. Every experience is yours to dictate and I would happily return to Valle again.

Honestly, it pains me to write this review as the food is mediocre at best. It is more like resort + bar vibe in here. The food portion is alright and flavor is the issue - too bland for my taste. My fish and chip has no flavor as I expect the fish at least salted properly. Same as clam and mussels. If I look for decent seafood, I will pass here. But I just want nice view yeah sure.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I have been coming here since I moved up here in 2021. The owners and staff are amazing, the food and drinks are made to perfection! They have drink specials weekly and are always doing some kind of fun event for the holidays like 4th of July, Memorial Day, thanksgiving etc! The outdoor seating is plenty and literally right on the 101 so the sunsets are next level! Christian and Dana are the sweetest, most welcoming, kind and FUN bartenders. This is the best spot in the Carlsbad village, you won’t regret checking this place out! They also have their own covered garage for parking so that’s a plus too, you can also leave your car overnight if you need to uber home. They close at midnight FYI ;)

Excellent experience!! We come here every time we are in Carlsbad. Be sure to eat on the patio during the sunset. AMAZING!!! Our server, Marisol, was friendly and attentive. She was wonderful!!!. The food was spectacular!!!

Food service stopped at 10 or so which we did not know. Our server was very gracious and friendly when she let us know. The food was fresh and tasty. Calamari strips were good, breakfast was good and the sandwich we had, the reuben, also good. Really thick bread on the reuben! The parmesan truffle fries were quite tasty, as well. We did not get drinks. The bar seemed full of happy people and employees were all really friendly. Nice vibe

Coral was our server. She was especially helpful and provided suggestions on requests we had. Food was very good. Onion rings were nice and crispy. Salmon was excellent. Service was superb. Highly recommend Dini’s By the Sea.

I wanted to eat with an ocean view with my 7 year old. I was happy they had some of his favorites. He had cheese pizza and chicken strips! Of course food for the next day, but when he's happy, I'm happy. I loved the crab cakes and house salad. The clam chowder was ok. I like more of a creamy flavor than a citrus one, but it was edible and not gritty. =) The waiter Elijah was very attentive and the place was cleaned while you ate. The busboy would not let a used plate sit long if you were done. =) They even welcomed digs if you had them. We will definitely be back.

The food was phenomenal, I had the salmon BLT. we went just around sunset, The view was phenomenal. Elijah was our server and that guy was phenomenal he took great care of us. The hostess up front had the best hairdo!

Friendly .. comfortable environment. Food was so good! We tried the shrimp, fried catfish, a small gumbo, and crossroad brisket bowl, as well as the Bloody Mary with the rib and cucumber mule. Fire!!! Thanks to Jenifer for hospitality and good vibe. Enjoyed ourselves.

I love this place. Great cocktails. Amazing cornbread. Their pulled pork and ribs are tender and flavorful. I buy and keep both of their sauces in my house. The fried chicken thighs are crispy and well seasoned on the outside with a tender and juicy interior. If you get them with the waffles, they are very light and airy. Fries are good, but the Mac and cheese and mesquite beans are so well done. Shrimp appetizer has the same cornmeal crust with a dipping sauce. Catfish also gets the cornmeal crust. Back to the cornbread. It looks like it has been made in grannies cast iron. You don't need butter.

Finally tried Miss Kim's by That Boy Good, and we can see why this place has such great reviews. Located in downtown Oceanside off Mission right on Coast Hwy, they have a lot of the same menu as the original restaurant That Boy Good (haven't tried yet 🤭.) They're serving up bbq and cajun food, and we're loving their whole eclectic, divey vibe. They have daily happy hour specials like $5 wells and $1 off draft beers, with a nice big selection available. We shared the gumbo & crossroads cup appetizers and a chicken & waffles plate that came with fries. That gumbo is so rich & flavorful, packed with shrimp & sausage on a bed of rice. The crossroads cup is a bowl layered with smoked beans, mac & cheese, pulled pork & coleslaw- pure comfort food! We took the fries from the chicken plate and made our own dirty fries with some of the crossroads cup - TRY THIS 😍 The fried chicken was really good and nicely seasoned too, perfect with the yummy waffles. This is definitely a place we'll be back to.

Cool spot. GREAT food. The Shrimp and Sausage Gumbo was amazing. The Chicken Thighs and Waffles were fantastic. The Mesquite Beef Brisket was wonderful. My two choices for sides was collard greens and Mesquite Smoke Beans. It was our first time here, and we were blown away with the quality and flavor of their food.

We went on a Thursday night about an hour before they closed. The way our server treated us you wouldn't of known it. She was awesome. She consistently checked on our needs. The food and drinks were served quickly. The food was great. The Catfish was well seasoned and the ribs were very tender. Can't wait to go again when I am back home.

Tuesday is all day hour! Beef brisket sandwich is the bomb! I was desperate for dine-in. I saw the sign on the sidewalk . It says ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR. I went in. There was people having a good time inside. The Happy hour menu had pull pork and beef brisket sandwiches, one dollar drafts and two dollar Rolling Rock. First I ordered the popcorn shrimp appetizer. Not bad. After a beer I ordered the beef brisket sandwich. It was good! Lots of beef. It came with a boat load of French fries. I wanted to stay longer but the place was getting ready to close. This place is now on my weekly to do list. Keep up the good food guys! 😊

I’m not sure where to begin… I came with high hopes. Ordered, half slab plate; mac n cheese/fries/cornbread. Tried cucumber lime mule and catfish strips. Honestly, if I would just gotten a couple of appetizers, I would have been happy. The ribs do not come with any sauce, there is a spicy or mild on the table. There were jalapeños in the Mac n cheese and cornbread, I am not a fan of spicy foods. The ribs were ok but not great. But for $23 you get plenty. I should not have ordered a cocktail as I do not normally drink, was only able to take a few sips. Maybe it was too strong? Not sure. The catfish was good. The best part was the service to be honest. Great customer service. I would give them another try but try something else perhaps, chicken or Brisket?

Great pizza and good service! We snagged parking just out on the street since their parking lot was full. We got seated immediately. We ordered the roasted chicken wings and the goat hill pizza pie with an added topping of the fennel sausage. The chicken wings were quite big. We got the grilled pineapple habanero sauce which wasn't as spicy as I would've liked it to be. The wings were just ok. They didn't fall off the bone as much and could've been crispier. The pizza was delicious, no doubt! The sausage was the highlight but the red pepper pesto and goat cheese is a deadly (in the best way) combination! If you like meat, get the goat hill and add the sausage. When we go back, I will have this again! We didn't try the wine. We tried a beer and a kombucha. They were fine. Good experience except the wings. We will be back!

This is a fun restaurant to come to with a really good menu. We were made to wait even though there seemed to be a bunch of open tables. The pizza was excellent particularly the sauce. It was very interesting to have a coal burning stove. We had an appetizer of Brussel sprouts and they were pretty good.

Ordered a pizza for pick up, and loved it so much, came back the next day for another. Really good fresh pizza dough, well balanced topping for the fennel sausage pie pizza. It reminded my husband of authentic neapolitan pizza we had in Italy. Thank you! Would recommend and come back.

If you read my reviews you know I love a good pizza and Privateer is another superior option for pizza in North County. We always eat on the left side which while still casual is more of a couple date night or adult friends out side but either side is cool. The wine and beer selection is great. The salads are HUGE and composed of fantastic produce and/or cheeses with just the right amount of dressing. The pizzas are good for 2 people, especially if you get a salad, and are excellent. Perfect crust sauce and toppings. You also have to try the meatballs! Service is always excellent with friendly folks.

Best family dinner we have had in a long time. Dominic was a great server and the staff in general was friendly and welcoming. We have two kids and they both enjoyed the food. Definitely our new go to.fungi pizza and the blue cheese burger top notch 👌🏼

Vegetarian friendly Appetizers were mediocre- garlic parm fries were ok and artichoke spread bread was not good at all. The red pepper pesto pizza was great, they also could make it half and half to accommodate different toppings Service was good

Tuesday Comedy night! Comedians awesome. Staff attentive and friendly. Packed house. Food was very good, complex flavors with solid execution. Minus one star as the actual seats are THE most uncomfortable seating that we have experienced in recent years out to dining. You need to get there over an hour and half early to get a seat and then the show is another hour plus. I needed the massage therapy-chiro visit the next day 😑 please invest in cushions.

Allmine is one of those places you walk into and instantly know you’re in for a delicious meal. The space is small and can get a little warm during summer, so I recommend making a reservation if you can. We came for the famous lasagna, which was every bit as dreamy as we’d heard .. topped with a rich, gooey white sauce that takes comfort food to a whole new level. We also shared a couple of pizzas, including the white sauce and potato pizza and the butcher’s meat with hot honey, both were incredible. The crusts are crispy yet chewy, and the flavor combos are so creative. We paired everything with a chilled red blend from their well-curated wine list, and it just felt like the perfect evening. The service was attentive and welcoming. This is definitely a spot I’ll return to again and again.

The pizza here is incredible! Tastes straight from Italy and they use such interesting ingredients. Plus they have this spray oil that’s so delicious. the verde pizza is my favorite - must try!

Came here on a Friday for the first time and it was our 19th wedding anniversary. I was really hoping for a special time but I was immediately put into a bad mood when we were seated at a center two-top table. I don't really like being in the middle as what I expected to happen, happened: servers kept bumping the table, bumping the pizza, constant movement around us. It was jarring. Yes, it shouldn't bother me but it did and I hate complaining in the moment and ruining someone else's day. Anyway, the food. We ordered the famous lasagna and the Bianca pizza with Coppa. Both were good. The lasagna was not quite as hot as it should be. It didn't affect the flavor, which was good, but it did take it from 5-star down to a 4-star I felt. I also forgot to record the moment as I was still miffed about the table. The Bianca pizza looked gorgeous and tasted very good. I did wish I could dip the pizza into a sauce, like a marinara or something. White pizza's always seem a little dry. The accompanying hot sauces and chili oil spray did help with the dryness however and they all tasted very good. Definitely give it a try! Final note: I paid cash with a $100 bill and was told that by doing that, the price was a little cheaper. I don't think I've seen any reviewer mention that, so there you go. $94.43 instead of $98.37 and in my mind, knocked the $14 wine price down to $10, so winning. I would like to come back, try a different pasta and pizza and more importantly, a different table.

The margherita pizza we got was perfect and the vibes were amazing for a chill evening in Oceanside! Highly recommend getting the Brie Involtini as a starter- it was so good. They also get all of their ingredients locally and support local vineyards and breweries as well with their wine and craft beer options!

Allmine is our favorite neighborhood Friday night-date night spot! Not only is the food really yummy- they use locally sourced ingredients, always fresh and on point. The owner and staff and always so friendly, positive and welcoming! The atmosphere is upbeat, it’s a cozy spot to nestle up at the bar! always amazing! We are so happy Allmine is here in our Oside neighborhood just a few blocks away- we can walk home full and happy! … And they have games!

We enjoyed the lasagna bolognese and better than pepperoni 🍕 pizza! A different take on both dishes. Although a bit on the high end of pricing….All locally sourced ingredients and natural, organic wine are probably the reason. It was definitely worth a try!

FOOD WAS DELICIOUS 🤤 the service… was something else. I understand not wanting to jeopardize the quality of the food. However, if someone has intolerances or allergies to foods, there should be some flexibility. There is only one pizza on their menu that has the option to remove cheese. Another however, that pizza has eggplant on it. A nightshade, that can also cause digestive issues to certain people. Which they weren’t willing to remove that ingredient either. The server helping us, made me feel ridiculous and stupid for having the nerve to ask for a cheese free pizza. I didn’t want to change ANYTHING ELSE, just no cheese. Don’t waste your quality ingredients on me! 🙌 LUCKILY, they made an “exception just for me…” Did they make me feel taken care of in the process? No. They made me feel like quiet an inconvenience. We almost got up and left because I felt that guilty. It’s 2025 and CALIFORNIA. Everyone here has some dietary uniqueness. It shouldn’t be that much of an imposition if someone asks to avoid something they cannot have. Thank you for still serving us and creating an almost perfect night. Your ambiance and pizza were 10/10.

The Korean BBQ Cheesesteak was super tasty! I am going to ask for the cheese on the top I think, since last time I could taste cheese but enough. I would order this again! In general, it is an easy place to go with large or small groups, and it's nice because there are a variety of different foods to order. Always loved coming to Yard House as a kid, and I still enjoy going here and there for food, drinks, or happy hour!

What a wonderful experience tonight!!! We are visiting here from Nebraska for our summer vacation. We love this area and we love this restaurant when we travel (which is a lot). I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and my husband had the Korean steak sandwich. Both were delicious! Kids had pizza abd fries which WOW the pizza was really big and delicious too! At the end of our dinner our server surprised us with an anniversary dessert. HOW SWEET! One suggestion for this restaurant, please have smaller forks available for the littles. LOL the forks are HUGE here!!! We have never seen forks this huge at any Yard House before. It was a good conversation piece!! Thank you Christine for making this the best Yard House experience ever. See you all next summer!

Elite Happy Hour! They went a bit light on the Poke on the Poke Nachos, but they were still great. Party of 3. Got some sliders, boneless wings (wish they had bone-in), spinach dip, the Poke Nacho, and 5 beers between the 3 of us and the damage was less than $70. Hard to find that value in 2025. Service was fast and friendly. Might have just found a new go-to spot!

I was off work late , and I had to find a place to eat . It was hard to find a restaurant at 10 p.m., but Yard House came through I just got appetizers , but they were really good 👍🏼. Service was good with a friendly staff . I got the calamari appetizer , which was soooooo good. My dish came out nice and warm . I also got some bone in hot wings. I am not big on breaded hot wings, but these were good . If you are in the area and looking for food or a drink , Yard House will do . They are open until 11p.m. The appetizers were good and filled me up , so I am sure that the regular meals are good too .

Love their chicken lettuce wraps so muchhh. Nice ambience and staffs. Foods are always on point we love going there for happy hour!

Came on a Saturday for brunch - place was already poppin’. Luckily there was still plenty of outdoor seating. All around the tacos pretty good. I think that was the consensus all around. They’ve got Mexican coke and an assortment of bottles of beers for breakfast too.

Sancho’s Tacos seemed like a great place to try based on the reviews and ratings. It was close to the beach and had a good selection of tacos. However, upon arrival, we noticed something was off. The sign upfront instructed us to place our order and then take a seat, but when we entered the bar, the bartender made eye contact but didn’t say anything else. When we went to order, the person taking the order was just matter-of-fact. The food was okay, but the two burritos I ordered were very bland and lacked flavour and seasoning. The service was also okay, but not quick for the amount of people in the restaurant. Overall, I felt the atmosphere was lacking because of the staff’s attitudes towards customers. I don’t think I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.

Yummy spot for tacos a couple blocks back from the beach in Oceanside. Boisterous atmosphere with a mix of bar seating and high top tables. Fun food truck feel where you place orders. Nice mix of tacos with meat, fish and veggie options. Salsa options are interesting - both quite sweet. Their sweet and spicy is as advertised, definitely sweet and definitely spicy. Guac quite tasty - lots of fresh cilantro and nice fresh fried tortillas with ample salt. Yum.

Very good food! We got the surf and turf burrito and the bean and cheese burrito with guac added in and it was delicious! Ate every bite. Burritos are a really good size as well! The star was friendly and food came out quick and super hot! Would totally recommend this place to grab a bite to eat and sitting on the patio is a nice choice.

We are always on the lookout for places where vegans and vegetarians can eat, and this place more than fits the bill! I had a great taco, ordered two of the Flaco Tacos - delicious and totally filling. Probably the best tacos I've ever had. Avocados, mushrooms, salsa verde. I have GOT to try to make this at home. I don't even know what my boyfriend ordered, but he said it was great and he would definitely order it again. Some kind of huge nachos. We loved the decor, so colorful, just makes you happy to be there. Service was excellent, staff was cool. I'd give it 5 stars if it was an all-vegan restaurant, but since it's not, I can only give it 4 stars.

This particular one in Oceanside has been open for 7-ish years and the Bar area is approximately 2-ish years old. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: I've had this on my list to try for a few months. We live in LA, so when we came South, I had to make a pitstop! Was very happy with the Dirty Banana Mylk! I wish there was a closer location to LA or Long Beach. AMBIANCE: Noise level is average. It was a bit dark and felt stuffy inside. A few tables and counter seating near the window. ORDERED: [5/5] Dirty Banana Mylk: blended to perfection and not too sweet! [4/5] Banana Latte: banana flavor was very light in this, but still good. Banana Dang Coffee pleasantly represents a neighborhood coffee shop. This small shop offers a unique flavor of coffee, which energizes the taste buds. This cozy shops was busy during my visit. I appreciated Banana' sense of humor, especially the Ryan Gosling reference of wearing shirts. When you find yourself in Oceanside, please make a moment to enjoy time at Banana Dang Coffee.

My absolute favorite place in Oceanside. Owners and employees are always so welcoming and kind. I go multiple times a week to get work done and have always felt so welcomed. They have my favorite chai latte, which is phenomenal. Occasionally I will grab an avocado toast and it never disappoints.

One of the best pizza spots in San Diego. They make the best pizza and are always consistent in the taste. We drive all the way from San Marcos to this place just for their amazing pizza.

I was impressed by how generous they were with the proteins and greens in both our salad and pizza. Clean place.

The first thing I noticed is that this place smells like a proper pizza parlor. We ordered 6 different pizzas, and 3 salads and all of it was served in under 15 min. I had the "Ticket to Paradise" and it was delicious. The rest of my party of seven also enjoyed thier lunch. No complaints, nothing wasted.

Great pizza, decent customer service however they're constantly closing 30 minutes early. As someone who worked for an independent quick service food establishment, I know some nights you close up shop due to lack of traffic or the team worked hard whatever you'd like to call it. Even when asking them before they said they cant justify staying open without enough sales. I was in there tonight with multiple other people before me, in line as well as finishing their meals and they began to pack up chairs and sweep around guests. Obvious prep for closing however it was a little over 30 minutes to close. Not cool, at least edit your dang hours.

ZigZag had some of the best pizza I've eaten. It was super fast, had a ton of options, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Also a great selection of beer and sodas.

This place does have a good pizza. Seating and ordering is streamlined but works for the busy area. Good variety of drinks and beer to choose from while waiting in line. Price was fair for Ocean side. I would probably visit this place again and recommend to others.

Honestly really good pizza. The crust was light and airy, not greasy or droopy. I really like how you can create your own pizza here. They have plenty of sauce options, and cheeses, as well as a variety of toppings. Their signature pies are pretty worthy, as some are traditional and others exotic. The pizza was made fast and they had ben & Jerry ice cream togo. Definitely a good choice if you are in the area. The parking is limited, most of it is meter or pay lot. But its worth a quarter or 2

I have lived in the area for years and I have tried other pizza places but Knockout is a "KNOCKOUT". Please try their pizza and you will not be disappointed. I had 2 slices for $11 special plus the drink, ordering the Knockout slice and Spicy Buff Chicken Slice, AND pineapple cream soda on tap. The crust is slightly crunchy and the toppings are fresh and cooked perfectly. They sell white and red varieties with multiple options of each. Really chill vibe with excellent customer service.

Not exactly new York style more like California style, more bready the crusts. But it has a thin crisp bottom and was pretty good for a quick grab slice walking around Carlsbad. Pretty big slice too

Avoid this place. This review is for the food, not the service, which was fine. I ordered 4 boxes of 3 different types of pizza and got a good idea of the pizza here. They're charging $30 for a box of paper thin slices of pizza and they are definitely skimping on tomato sauce, pepperoni, and mozzarella. It is not crispy at all. Each bite feels like you're eating air. It's an atrocity that they're charging $30 dollars for a crappy box of the worst pizza of your life. This would not be an issue if they charged $2 for the box because even Little Ceasers is better than this. Also, the pizza LOOKS weird?? It's unappealing. My girlfriend's reaction to seeing the pizza was: "Uh, whats wrong with that pizza? Why does it look like a bad drawing of a pizza?" I myself couldn't describe it better than that. I can only add that it tastes what it looks like.

*Disappointed with the Service and Experience* I was really looking forward to trying this place for the first time, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The customer service was poor both employees, a man and a woman, made us wait a long time without any communication. The woman appeared to notice us but continued laughing and ignored us instead of simply saying, “Please wait a moment.” When we finally received our order, the interaction felt rushed and rude. The pizza didn’t seem freshly made; it looked like it had been sitting out, which made the long wait even more confusing. Another issue was the cleanliness of the tables weren’t being cleaned after customers left. The staff seemed more focused on chatting and making pizzas than maintaining the dining area. Additionally, I couldn’t help but feel that we were being treated differently. I truly hope that wasn’t the case, but the behavior felt dismissive in a way that made us uncomfortable. I’m sharing this honestly in hopes that the service improves for future customers. Based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend it. :( 1/10

Best pizza everrrr!!! Been bringing the family here the past 3-4 years. Used to hit the Oceanside place, now it's Carlsbad. Everything we are in town this is our go too. Pizza is delicious, employees are friendly and place is clean. Come taste..you will not be disappointed.

When I lived in SD I always ate here, and now when I drive down from LA I always make a point to stop here on my way home. One of my favorite pizza joints in all of California!!!

Had lunch here today, and it was then expected. When I walked it i was greeted within a minute with a friendly smile and warm hello. I ordered a pepperoni, sausage, and bacon slice, and a "chef special" and a beer. The two slices were a good size for the price, and pretty filling. Flavor was solid, and was thin and crispy, and hot. If I was local this would likely be a regular spot for me.

The food here is fantastic. I ordered a BLT and must say it was very filling. The mimosas are not bad, keep you feeling nice a bit. 😉Should out to Angelica, she has amazing customer service skills and hope that she serves me again when I come back! :)

Esteban is outstanding and attentive, even when the place is packed, thank you. Both of our meals were surprisingly gluten-free and really good. I met my niece for an early lunch between appointments, helping seniors with their Medicare. She ordered an omelet scrambled. I chose their famous cheeseburger. In addition to the food tasting fantastic, the service could not have been better.

I had Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast, hand breaded and cooked perfectly, good eggs and nice thick slices of good sourdough. This is truly an old fashioned diner with great service, great decor, comfortable booths. Really glad I stopped!

Drove up to Oceanside specifically for this breakfast and we were all happy that we did so. The flavors are great, the portions are large, and the prices are fair. Parking can be a bit tricky because they have a very small parking lot attached in front but only for about four or five cars. Otherwise it will be free street parking. We arrived around 10AM for Saturday brunch and had to wait about 25 minutes to be seated for a party of three. We felt the wait was worth it though. The food items arrived quickly after we ordered and our waitress was very polite. Inside is pretty large and they have indoor and outdoor seating options. For my first visit, I chose my favorite breakfast dish, which is Eggs Benedict and decided to order their Chorizo Benedict. It honestly had some great flavors and was almost spicy but in the perfect way. I really enjoyed it and ate every bit of it and would highly recommend it. I already want to come back and try some more dishes and would definitely consider this one of the better breakfast options in Oceanside.

Dons Country Kitchen has some of the best breakfast in town. The staff is super friendly, the service is quick, and the food is always fresh and delicious. You really cannot go wrong starting your day here and it is definitely our go to spot.

I was told about this place 2 weeks ago and have been 3 times for breakfast. The place is great, the staff is excellent (ask for Krista). Recommend the pork chops or steak and eggs. I'm going to try an omelet next. :) I love the mimosa flights!!

Heard good things about this restaurant from friends and Yelp so we had to try it out. We traveled from Camarillo to Oceanside for a full day of soccer games. Immediately were we greeted by the staff and basically had our choice of tables since it was only 8:30am. Service was prompt and friendly. Blueberry pancakes and the ABC Omelette were fantastic and portions were plentiful. Delicious!! If you’re in the area or passing by, it’s worth the stop. You won’t be disappointed.

Hole in the wall with a huge menu. The food was fresh, full of flavor and abundant. Big portion is an understatement. We’re in from New York and looked forward to trying some fresh Mexican out here. Looking forward to the next joint.

I haven't been here in 21 years. I'm glad they're still around and making amazing food. If you go in a Tuesday, avoid parking in front because the city starts towing cars at 2PM for what appears to be a farmers market. I liked the old location better, but this newer location is pretty nice. The quality of the food is as good as I remember. For me it's about nostalgia as well as a place to get some good food.

Enjoyed some of the plates - had the surf n turf and the Camerones Rancheros. Both were good. Big serving. We may come back to try another couple tomorrow.

I just got back from Hawaii i been here 5 times. Oh my ouch!! This is the Best place pozole,menudo, flautas, roll tacos, Big menu to pick from. Pretty busy place. I was there bcs of an emergency 😔. And found out the gentleman's dad passed away. My condolences 🙏 thank you all for your hard work.

I used Uber Eats to order a taco salad on 8/20/25. The food was not as described on the menu - no beans and there was only a small amount of cheese, while the chicken was bland and seemed like it had been sitting around for a while. MOST of what I got (like 70%) was sad odd tasting shredded lettuce. I pulled out as much of the lettuce as I could, about half, and set it aside. I tried to eat the rest but it was unpleasant. It did not taste good enough to actually eat. I ordered from Wendy's because I was still hungry. The food I had at Colima's was an inedible rip off, and Uber Eats does not refund for bad quality food - they say take it up with the restaurant. Perhaps I should call the restaurant, but I'm weary of the whole thing, so that was $20 down the drain. Rest assured I will not order from them again, and I'm sorry I invested in gift cards for Uber Eats. I won't do that again.

I give the restaurant 4.5 stars at least more than 4 stars. I believe this is the best burger in this area. The burger has great meat, cheese, and onion ling and those match BBQ sauce. There are many car decorations in the restaurant. Its interior has American mood and you can enjoy that when you are waiting. Taste over 100 mile! Boo Boo!

Ive been coming here for over 8 years. It was great when Larry use to be the owner. Since, its changed a couple times. We came about 3 years ago and the service was horrible. We tried to give it another shot and the first 2 times in the past month were great. Today we went with my dad, mom, and Grandma. They took my mom and grandmas plate to another table that came after us. When I went to the front to inquire about the plate they apologized and said it would be right out. About 20 mins later after watching them bring other tables food out and only 2 of our plates, I went back up. They told me they couldn't interfere with what the kitchen had going on. Even though it was their error you'd think they would have tried to get our plate out first. I work in customer service in the food industry and if we make an error we have to make the moment right first. I almost just wanted to ask for a refund so I decided to stand at the register till it was ready. Won't be returning here again.

We came in tow with 3 adults and 5 kids under 12 yrs old!!! Lol food was delicious and arrived fast. Kids loved the eclectic atmosphere. The claw machine was a hit! Frannie was our cashier, she was super helpful and friendly in deciding what to order even as the line got longer. She was so patient and attentive. Thank you, we will be baccck!!!

Denny's Taco Egg Avocado Skillets had some hits and misses. The eggs and avocado were great, but the cream cheese wasn’t my favorite. The potatoes felt a bit off—they seemed precooked, and when served, they were cold. Thankfully, the skillet eventually warmed them up. The overall experience was decent, but there’s room for improvement, especially with serving temperatures and coffee quality

One thing I will say is that it's a great experience. The Tomahawk was definitely overpriced but still delicious. I say overpriced because I have eaten at all 5 star + restaurants in Ohau Hawaii and have had better Tomahawk's for a more reasonable price. The potatoes and keylime pie were awesome. Definitely will have to try the other steak options.

After some seashell hunting we stopped at Denny's and ordered from their Value Menu. I had French toast, two eggs, two sausage links and I added a side of crispy hash browns. Everything was cooked perfect and hot. Our waitress was so nice and always available. I also ordered the same meal to go for my boyfriend and it was just as tasty and fresh as mine. Ordering from the Value Menu made it affordably priced and the restaurant was clean and well maintained, with great food and service.

Food was very good , however , the general manager, or the lady that was wearing the red suit was very rude. A server in training was brining our food to our table when the general manager openly criticized how the trainee was holding the tray of food, and made the trainee go back to the kitchen in front of us to receive a tray holder . Afterwards , the same manager that was criticizing the trainee , she used the same gloves that she had used previously to clean the bottom of booths by the floor , she used to prepare and serve food. This made us most uncomfortable and the situation was most unfortunate. We ate our food as quickly as possible and will not be returning for this horrible service towards its servers.

The lunch we ordered was good, and the price was reasonable. The person serving was genuinely nice! The only thing was that there was a lot of noise as we were made to sit next to the till area.

Located right off the freeway, and right by a gas station. Went here on Saturday about 830am, it was packed. There was a short wait. We got seated and it took about 5 minutes for someone to come take our drink request. We ordered coffee. Took about another 5 minutes to get our drinks, at which time we ordered our food. It took about 10 minutes for our food to get there. I got the French toast slam. It was good. The bacon here was disappointing. It was super thin and tasted fake. The server was not very friendly and you can tell she was busy, she was all about business. I looked around as we were waiting and other waitresses looked friendly but busy as well. All of our drinks ran out and we sat there for like 10-12 minutes before she came back to check on us. Keep in mind the only drinks we ordered were coffee and the cups were smaller than most cups. She could only take cash payment at the table, if you wanted to use card you had to pay at the counter. They do offer a military discount. There is a small wait area by the front counter. You have to wait to be seated. Overall, it was an okay experience. Not bad but not great.

It had been years since I went into Angelo's and I was surprised by how much I liked it. Their menu is expansive including Greek, American and Mexican dishes. Very nice if you are a family with different preferences. The burrito I got was very tasty and very large. Great size for the price. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Same here 20 years ago when I was in the Marine Corps. 20 years later it's still just as good as it ever was. Enormous breakfast burritos for only 10 bucks. 2/3 of that burrito in Tucson Arizona cost $15.

Used to go here after surfing in the 90s. The original owners grandson was working the place. I love this place because it's like a diner with such a huge menu with breakfast all day. And no servers, which I like. I had the pastrami sando and my wife and kid had gyros (it's Greek owned) and yummy smoothies. Also split the zucchini fries with ranch. So good!! They had tvs with news and sports. Some of the tables needed cleaning but the poor guys were short staffed. Love these old school joints!

Was my first time visiting and I'm not going back. The only good menu item that I received was the side of Ranch dressing. The Ranch was for my double fried zucchinis. Ewwwww. After touching anything... Wash your hands thoroughly. Wear gloves. And then touch food that will be served.

Nice classic diner experience with a wide assortment of available sandwiches and burgers. They also serve breakfast and if that available I believe all day. I chose a fish sandwich. It was humongous, lots of lettuce and tomato. I probably should have taken some of the lettuce out and eating it al a salad. Fish was nice and flaky not overcooked. The whole thing was very delicious. Sandwich did break apart a little bit so be gentle with it. Fish Sandwich 2 pieces of deep-fried fresh codfish, tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato, and pickle. $10.50 I plan on returning to Oceanside in the next couple of years and this is a definite return to try out their breakfast or other sandwiches

Late night savior - after a long late night ride from LAX- Late hours worked to our advantage. We had some burgers ,fries and a drink all were absolutely the best. Extremely clean inside and the workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Rylee R was a great cashier. Coming from the east coast we don’t have any locations. So when available we go. Simply the best burger joint in the planet!! The bathrooms were a bit messy.

Although most of the staff were friendly, the service at this location was inconsistent. I ordered a triple meat with only ketchup—something I’ve done at other In-N-Outs many times. Everywhere else, that’s understood as a bun, three patties, and ketchup. I never mentioned cheese and even emphasized “triple meat, ketchup only.” When I got to the window, my burger had three slices of cheese melted into it. I let the employee know, and she insisted it “comes with cheese,” which is simply not true based on my regular experience. Instead of offering a solution, she implied the mistake was mine, rolled her eyes, and spent more time digging into the issue than resolving it. To add to the frustration, the employee who took my order gave me a total, and I had the exact change ready. But at the window, the cashier quoted a different (lower) amount. I checked my receipt and confirmed I had it right the first time—he had made an error and never corrected it. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I’ll likely avoid this location unless I absolutely have no other option.

In n out is my favorite fast food place. And this is the best one of all. Five stars all the way in every way...

I know everyone like the IN-N-OUT burger including me. This is better than others. Why? Flies makes here special. Those are more crispy. I like flies and I was re-confirmed that the strawberry shake is the best. Parking lot is huge and fitness studio and pharmacy are located the same mole. You could be healthy if you eat too much. (Combo#3 with shake instead of drink $9.90)

My 14 year old son and I stopped in to this In-N-Out Burger on Sunday October 5th, 2025. It was my son’s first time eating at an In-N-Out Burger. The atmosphere was so vibrant and welcoming. Every worker had a smile on their face and was bubbly and enthusiastic. We don’t get great service like this back where I am from. My son thought the burger and fries was amazing! Thank you for reminding me that there are places and people like this in the world.

First time at this location and my burger bun was burnt and hard as a brick, especially around the entire edge of both top and bottom bun. I was so hungry and there were a lot of people waiting—I have to say they definitely move faster than my previous location in AZ. But still, I didn’t want to wait to have it remade. So pulled the burger out and ate without the bun. The other thing is the cheese and onions kept falling out even when it was still in the bun—sliding out. Price was a surprise at $6.10 for the Double Double (higher than AZ, unless there was an increase)? Anyway—shout out to Mateo who provided top notch guest service. Manager gave me a GC for next visit, so I’ll try it out again and see. In/Out is usually pretty good.

Our favorite location!! Food is always outstanding 10/10 and the employees are always doing a fantastic job- very friendly, helpful. Treat us very warmly when dining with our toddlers. We’ve only ever had great experiences.

It’s my first time in California, and I have been told that I have to try In & out burger. Unfortunately It’s only in California. Their burger is amazing, I never seen a thin burger like the ones they have. It was so good. And their fries was great with their special sauce. I really loved it and I hope they open it in East Coast. I can’t wait to go back to California to eat there.

This location always forgetting items. I’m not driving 3 miles back for my missing fries and missing toppings that I ordered and paid for. And what’s up with the burnt hard bun? Do better people. I see that this location has several 1-3 stars with similar complaints.

The place is immaculate, no matter how busy it is. The hamburgers are great, lettuce and tomatoes are fresh and you can get onions on them. The fries are super good too. Personally, it's better than the Habit Great job you guys!!

Not a big fan. Smells great when you're outside, like good burgers. But inside is a different story. If I wanted a salad, I would have ordered one. The meat patty is so small and doesn't taste right. The seasoning is off and the meat just tastes like it's meat flavored. McDonald's has better burgers than this place and that's sad to say. Won't be back, that's for sure.

Angelos Oside 5 ✨️ for the experience!! First i went in later like 8:45pm... so I wasn't expecting anything too impressive... hungry yes. Angelos; convince of a drivethru, & option of a dinning room. This place was a place i would drive past my whole life, stopped in a couple times over the years... i used it more like a landmark... But this time.... I really appreciated that they literally everything under one roof!! Pancakes, burgers, burritos, shakes... the fries you guys... the fries hit the spot. Cheeseburgers all around at our table one Chicago Dog & an order of Fries enough to serve as a side for two people or all five of us (2 adults 3 kids). Chicago Dog gets a solid 3.5-4 as my husband recently went on a trip to Chicago & really had fresh memory to compare it to. Cheeseburger has a unique patty taste definitely some in house seasoning going on which I appreciate. Shredded Lettuce was a plus (sets it apart from one giant piece of wet lettuce hanging off most burgers in the area). Bun is lovely, I would dare to say a bit more salt or cheese please but I know that's probly just my opinion coming through. Star of the show was the ambiance (Oside from ceiling to the floor, you know the heart is pure oceanside) & the fries... thick fries you actually know came off a potato, they were 5 stars. As a lifelong Chicagoland kid, I have opinions. I’ve been in San Diego for 21 years and have rarely come to Oceanside. Same for Angelos, as we just discovered this tonight. A- for the dogs as the bun just couldn’t handle the heft of the ingredients but the flavors were excellent. The Gyro was massive! Again, great flavors, A+. Cheese fries were great. A+. Next time we’re here, we’ll stop by. And the beer list? Ridiculous.

Ordered the monster bacon Cheese burger combo. For the price definitely better then MCD. Nice and big, good amount of lettuce, 1000 island dressing added to the well balanced flavor. The steak fry were a nice touch. Over i enjoy the meal. I nice to see these mom and pop restaurants still around. They have a large selection to choose from. If are hungry for breakfast at dinner time they got you covered.

Food was good big portions only thing I complain about is if there to busy your order might not be right . I asked for all bacon no sausage but didn’t get that and asked for iced latte and they made a hot one . I feel bad in person complaining more than once so just kept the sausage but had them redo the latte . Other than that food was delicious portions are huge . Atmosphere was amazing very clean .

The tender pork ribs are perfectly cooked, smothered in a flavorful green chili sauce that has just the right amount of spice. First time there, great atmosphere and service. Food was good. Nothing special. I will be back to try other food to get a real feel of food quality. They also have an area for bread, desserts and cakes.

I came here on a Friday for a early lunch the food was horrible I got chile verde breakfast the meat was so hard and chewy the weird thing was there was like one piece in there that wasn't overcooked showed how bad the rest was cooked to much. My fiance got the milanesa torta she said was just ok . We also got some Mexican bread to all bread the bread was just ok come cookies tasted old and weird I don't recommend this place to any one

I went to pick up a pound cake that I ordered on Friday on a Sunday. It was never made and they just threw one in a box and handed it to me. I said it is supposed to be frosted. They young man didn't know what to do. He goes behind the counter and throws some glaze on it. I said that isn't lemon frosting like I ordered. He sent out the manager who was an older gentleman and rude. He said if I frosting it i will have to charge you for a cake. That made no sense. So he went to the back slapped on a blob of white frosting and said here. At no point did they apologize for not having it made and the inconvenience. An apology would have gone a long way. But he was so rude is why I said I needed to do a review.

This place was incredible! The service was toooooo great, the food even better, and the atmosphere.... the atmosphere was incredible too. Like better than the Earth's atmosphere. How can you get better than that. A trust hidden gem. I can't wait to go back and get some more food off of the menu. Great pan too. The service hit a new high for me. The atmosphere is nice, they had a live pair performing. It was a tad bit loud but good ambience. The bakery and restaurant are separated so it’s easy to get your bakery items without having to walk through tables. The food was tasty and well portioned. The chilaquiles were not spicy at all, I wish they were a bit more spicy but it’s understandable.

Amazing service! I have been going here for almost a year now and I gotta say the food and desserts are amazing and for reasonable prices! Maddax is an amazing worker and always brightens up my day when I see her and I’m always grateful she even remembers me! She is a fantastic worker and gives me the best customer service! The chefs are amazing as well as they don’t long to make my food and it’s never the wrong order or messed up! 10/10 always recommending!

Carlos is the best. He got my order first try and repeated the order perfectly. The hotdogs are perfect and perfectly overflowing, by far the best Weinerschnitzel I've ever been too and will continue going.

As an award-winning Chef I don't eat fast food but when I do I'm very picky this is by far the best Wienerschnitzel I've ever been to In My Life. The unfortunate thing is I'm almost 6 hours away so I might not be here for a long time but what a great way to celebrate American Independence Day

Chili cheese dog is my guilty pleasure .. fav since my teens. Carlos at the Oceanside location has the best attitude makes me feel like I spent 100 bucks. And all I got was a chili cheese dog for 250. Great customer service thanks a lot guys. Please stick around there’s only a few of you open.

Excellent service. Automated drive-thru was fast and efficient. Food was good done properly and the service was nice. The only reason I gave four stars for the atmosphere was I wasn't a fan of the music so much but it wasn't terrible

every time we have come to this location there is a gentleman that always stands out. Carlos is extremely professional and kind. the food is always hot and delicious when we come here. I love the new upgraded all beef hot dogs too. always a pleasant experience.

This will always be a staple for me and my family! This is one of those grub spots that instantly brings back that feeling of home! The food is always amazing, and you either have or just had a breathtaking view of the coastline while you visit the beautiful Oceanside Coast! Definitely recommend a quick stop visit to satisfy your cravings!

I wasn’t all that impressed with this burger shop. The fries where way over cooked. Most of them were hard and not very appetizing and not any salt on them. Just hard and greasy. The buffalo chicken strips and the two nice gentlemen at the cash register saved this place from getting a lower rating. The store itself wasn’t that bad and had a lot of decor that went along with the burger theme. There was a lot of options for food including breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, salads and even Mexican, which was nice. Just the killer for me was the fries. When I think of fries I see lightly golden, fresh, crisp with just the right touch of salt to kick up the taste level. Maybe if I had several other options I sampled it may have changed my review, but messing up fries, which is a burger joints staple was just to much for me.

We got the surfers plate and a cheeseburger. The food portions are very big and the food was good. It definitely wasn’t out of this world delicious but worth trying a local spot. The 4 stars is because on the inside the place is very noticeably run down. The building really needs some maintenance for a more enjoyable dinning experience

Thought we would try Angelo's out since we hadn't been there before. The burger patty tasted like it had been sitting in a warmer for most of the day. The toppings and bun were fresh, but the patty made the burger fair at best. Fries were fresh, but fairly undercooked. French toast was surprisingly good. In my opinion the prices were pretty high for what we got. The restaurant was quite dirty and ran down. Could really use a thorough deep cleaning and some fresh paint. The bathroom was extra dirty and smelled heavily of urine. The staff was very kind and food came out pretty quick. But all in all I would say we will not be going back here.

Angelo’s was the only place we could get into for breakfast so we gave it a try. It actually turned out pretty good but the “Greek omelet” was more like 2 plain omelettes with feta between them. I asked for well done hash browns and they were actually good, an enormous amount. I asked for toast and I was given 2 pieces of bread with a huge blob of butter just slapped on top. I tried telling the kid I wanted toast but it seems like he didn’t know what toast was because he kept saying this is it. Luckily someone else took care of it and I finally got my toast after I was done with my meal. The place is real old and pretty decrepit and could use a very good cleaning but the food is good and huge portions. Next time I will stick with the lunch menu and have breakfast at home.

This place is like if Chili's, IN 'N Out and Denny's had a baby! They've got anything from burgers and burritos to gyros and pancakes. I ordered a carne asada burrito and it was juicy and flavorful. I'm definitely going to come back to try out the other food, probably the country fried steak. They also serve beer which I thought was cool! Decent prices. The only downside I could find was that the men's restroom didn't even have a lock. I thought this was very odd. Can't attest to if the women's restroom has a lock or not.

This Angelos was a bit on the older side but the food was legit. It has a certain type of Oceanside charm. We will definitely becoming back. Girlfriend got the chili cheese fries and I got a huge burger with bacon, forget the name

This restaurant never disappoints. You want good food and is worth the money well THIS IS IT! My family and I are hooked on this restaurant. We were vacationing and were looking for some good food to eat. The manger at our hotel told us where the restaurant was. We ate the the biscuits and gravy: you get three biscuits with your choice of 4 sausage links, 4 bacon stripes or half in half, you chose how you want your eggs. My kids ate "The Big Deal" you get 2 Large pancakes, your choice on bacon or sausage. you chose how you want your eggs. That was breakfast for lunch I ate a carne asada burrito. The burrito was delicious and full of flavor. The burgers at this restaurant are HUGE! You do get your moneys worth and it does look like the pictures and the milkshakes are on point (Oreo cookie shake)! The staff there was friendly and fast when it comes to service. We definitely eat here again!

Really good tacos, awesome salsa bar, excellent service, clean. Not the best tacos I've ever had. The al pastor was good but not bursting with flavor. The fish tacos were good too but not great. Tortillas not fresh made that's why they have to put 2 on each taco, otherwise they fall apart.

While the restaurant isn’t large, its grilling setup is impressive—you’ll immediately spot the rotating spit for al pastor pork and the grill for beef as you walk in. One of the big draws here is their Taco Tuesday special: from 5 pm to close, you can get Carne Asada, Pollo Asado, Carnitas, and Al Pastor tacos for just $2 each. They also offer a 5-taco combo for $12, available all day Tuesday, where you can choose between Carnitas and Al Pastor. I decided to go with the 5-taco combo, and while the carnitas were satisfying with their soft and tender shredded pork, the al pastor was a letdown. The pork was over-marinated, giving it a sour taste, and the grilling was uneven, leaving some parts burnt. Unfortunately, since I had chosen 3 al pastor tacos, I ended up disappointed with the overall flavor. Next time, I’d like to try the chicken and beef tacos to see if they fare better. One thing to note: they also charge an extra fee for card payments, so be aware of that.

After a 6 hour drive from Fresno coming with moderate expectations of a good lunch, the food was excellent far beyond what we were expecting! The tacos were delicious, beans and rice outstanding, and the salsa bar was fantastic! 10/10 meal; would highly recommend this restaurant and plan to make a stop there before we leave!

It was good, but didn't blow me away. I was pretty disappointed their taco tuesday deal doesn't actually start until 5pm. Their tacos are pretty small too. I'd visit again, but I'm also not going out of my way to visit. Their service was great though.

Well, if you want an OMG sized burrito, then this here is your place! We stopped here for lunch and had burritos. Not only are the portions generous, the price is great and the taste was unbelievably good! It was a great value for the money. I love that the salsa bar is open, but I do wish that the cups were a little bigger so that I didn't have to go back so many times. That aside, the salsa was freaking delicious. Every one that we tried hit home and was a great blend with the burritos that we got. A great little lunch place with awesome staff and good food.

Just a quick drive to or from the beach, Super friendly taco and burrito 🌯 place. Limited seating indoor but I had no problem finding a booth. Check out the signs on the wall for even more selections than you may see on the menu. Breakfast anytime if that’s your thing. I went for the taco platter and it was plenty. Lots of shopping around check out the Daiso Japanese store nearby if you haven’t been.

You can’t go wrong with the beach and when it come to cravings everyone loves tacos. So we figured why not! Let’s taste some local flavor and see if the buzz is buzzing toward the right kind of food. Cheapos serving mediocre/bad Mexican food. You practically have to beg for their already cheap quality napkins and forks, which cost nearly nothing. Fountain soda costs $4 for one small, which also costs pennies to mix. Food is expensive for what it is. They have a miser mentally while charging top dollar for burrito stand food that is not NEARLY as good as a typical burrito stand flavor you can find EVERYWHERE ELSE here in SD. It makes no sense. Be better at what you do, or be more gracious to your customers. There are simply so many better options around.

Terrible food and man had no friendly expression. Asked for a carne asada burrito and it was just meat wrapped in a tortilla. No rice, beans anything. Chicken salad was the cheapest lettuce you can buy with a bit of chicken.. no veggies Sad place

I came in with four friends and ordered standard tacos and burritos. The line started to build up behind us so the cook/cashier took everyone’s orders and proceeded to make their food first since they only ordered one thing. Had I ordered the plates individually, he would have served us first but instead I watched him call several orders after us only because we had multiple things. Wouldn’t recommend this place, there’s plenty of other good taco shops in the area.

Sorry to do this. I seldom write a bad review. Absolutely the worst food I and my daughter and her friend have ever eaten. Inedible fries. No way to describe them. Taco was chewy and the meat flavorless. The tamale was scary gross watery greasy texture. No one ate their food except for barely acceptable rice and beans. I don't know where these good ratings are coming from. I got sick.

Alfredos is great. I come here every week & usually get the California burrito & horchata. Consistency is key for me, this place defiantly has that. The customer service is outstanding. It really makes it a friendly place to come eat with friends and family. Defiantly a place worth trying.

I'm sorry to those people who make their judgement about California's Mexican food from this place. These people have no pride in making food. I wonder if they've even tasted their own food. The meat should not look gray. Their burrito had no flavor. Also look at their Yelp reviews. A good tasty place just down the block, Colima's Mexican Food is very good.

Great place for a great tasting veggie burger at under 10 bucks with cheese. Xtra condiments like jalapeños, pepperoncini and yellow peppers. Clean tables, friendly customer service at the El Camino location. Try the Santa Barbara for a great burger, which is my online favorite and an Amazing burger and can also be upgraded with veggie patties.

One of the best burgers! Patties are always juicy and I recommend the double cheeseburger. They also have really good tasting onion rings. We ordered for pick-up. Got our orders exactly on time. Service was friendly. The place was clean too.

Lexie was amazing, very cheerful especially kind, and she was genuine. She made my day after I had gone to get an mri and my daughter had a bad day at her summer academy. We both ended up engaging in a nice quick conversation that truly made our experience the best I’ve had especially after we both had a hard day. We have been coming to Habit a long time and this summer since June we have come more then once a week while my daughter is in her academy. It was the most interaction we had since coming regularly. We also felt like we made a new friend with Lexi and will be referring this location because of her. The cooks also are amazing always willing to fix anything we need right away no questions. Thank you for being a great place for us when we have bad days. It’s amazing to have a place to escape and eat to calm down after hard days.

Delicious burgers and shakes! Love that have extended hours and I appreciate the fast and friendly service. Highly recommend the strawberry shake! They have outdoor seating and you have the option to do self service kiosk you have to pay by card or apple/google pay

A little weird, I felt like it took me forever to explain my order she kept on correcting the way I should order. Should have told her I went to Hamburger university.

I visited this location with my husband today at approximately 2:20 pm. We each order a burger and side. Two orders that were placed after us were received before us. By this time it was already 10 minutes past the pick up time. My husband asked how much longer, the manager, Antonia, was very rude and kept saying "a bit longer", never saying they were behind. There was one worker doing nothing the entire time. We asked for a refund, told we had to call a number, and then we could get our money. So we paid $31.13 and left with no food after receiving horrible service. I called the number a few times, left a voicemail. I feel robbed by this store. Terrible experience.

I went into the restaurant as I had been driving for a while and needed to use the facilities. The bathroom was terrible. Wet floor. Toilet paper on the floor. Granted, this could have just happened, but it was still my first impression of the place. I placed my order and paid as the fellow helping me disappeared to help drive thru customers. As I had still not received my receipt, I didn't know what my order number was. Still, they were friendly, so I'll keep it at 4 stars.

Tried to get drive through. Lady on the speaker speaks English barely and also has a heavy lisp. Food came out all wrong. Then trying to go in explain what I had ordered with the same person who again didn’t understand basic English.

I went for the new taco 🌮 deals they have, and it turned out to be pretty good! The place itself could use a little TLC( not so fresh), and the staff wasn't really all that welcoming. My 1st experience with Del taco was in Anahiem, and they were on point! I guess I had my expectations too high.

My mom uses two canes, they were very sweet and accommodating. The food was hot and fresh. A grate place for a quick bite by the water.

Oceanside Harbor iconic mainstay. Close to the I-5, gas station, Camp Pendleton, and of course the O'side Harbor. Been eating there for 40 years. It's still just a Del Taco with a very narrow drive thru. But it's "home"

Love their menu but the tostadas of my crunchtadas seemed a bit stale. I did appreciate the generous amount of lettuce and cheese on my tostadas.

The pizza was ok. We got pepperoni and black olive. It was served quickly. Got the garlic knots and they were not very garlicky but very soft. The table wasn't clean. I wiped it down and there was a lot of dust on my napkin. Seating was small, barely enough room for the 5 of us even though there were 3 tables. There isn't enough room to seat people at all of the chairs. You would run into people. The server never came to see if we needed anything else. Maybe I was mistaken about the type of restaurant it was so having her come back might not have been expected.

We had the lasagna pizza and it was amazing! I never thought to make a lasagna pizza before, but so this was a first. My boyfriend said that this topped every pizza place he has tried out here. Will definitely be coming back and trying more!

The sign on the door confirms as it reads : “Closed for Renovations” And this is fantastic news for lovers of traditional NY Style Pizza!! Stay Tuned for More News! •••• As of today, Brooklyn Boyz Pizza has been closed down. It’s a shame that another small business has been forced to shutdown in Oceanside, especially one that has been serving the community such delicious pizza. At least the causes were “natural” and it due to the owners death and nobody being able to take-over the business. It breaks my heart that I’ve only been here a handful of times. But I truly loved my experiences and their New York Style Pizza was Phenomenal! From the crust, to the sauce and the toppings, it was all terrific. A big favorite was the baked ziti pizza and I loved their Sicilian slices as well. The interior was so appropriately decorated with a lot of New York / Brooklyn paraphernalia & posters. Brooklyn Boyz Pizza was a business at the heart of Oceanside standards and it will be missed… I hope it isn’t replaced with some chain or franchise. Farewell to delicious Authentic NY Pizza 😔

The pizza was good. I had a slice of the chef's special - pepperoni, spinach, mushrooms, and ricotta cheese. I would have it again, BUT the place was DIRTY AND MESSY... AND I was waiting to pick-up a Doordash order that hadn't even been started until I got there, which I waited an additional 15 minutes for... While I was waiting and enjoying my slice, I witnessed social conversations between the order-taker and the pizza-maker (a perfect time to clean up the place), and another employee put a to-go item in the oven to keep it warm, and the plastic top melted. Thoughtless... It was a slow evening, I could see there were only 2 working orders and a table of 3 who were already eating. Is this a franchise? They need to improve their standards of operation. See my pictures of their front end... disgusting.

The pizza is amazing. The atmosphere reminds me of the pizza places back East where I'm from. The crust was nice and crispy, and the cheese was excellent quality. The sauce was exceptional, and that's coming from someone who usually drowns their pizza in sauce.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! If you’re looking for authentic Brooklyn-style New York pizza, this small business is the real deal. The crust is thin, crisp, and perfectly foldable just like it should be and the sauce-to-cheese ratio is chef’s kiss. Every slice tastes like it came straight out of Brooklyn. But what really sets this place apart is the customer service. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they care about their customers and their craft. Whether it’s your first time in or you’re a regular, they treat you like family. If you’re craving a classic New York slice and want to support a hardworking small business, this pizza shop should be your go-to.

We had our pizza delivered. The box said hot and fresh pizza, but the bottom of the box wasn't even warm. However, once this pizza is warmed up, it sings! Delicious sauce and very tasty chew on the crust. Very satisfying, but next time will go in person to try it at the restaurant. Definitely worth a second try.

Great gluten free crust, good pizza everytime I've eaten from there. Not celiac, but sensitive, haven't had any reactions. Love this place. Quirky local type place with good food.

I hate giving bad reviews, especially to small businesses making good products and vegan options. But this pizza was over 40 minutes late. The app makes it sound very confident about when it'll be ready but that estimate was way off. When I finally got the pizza I told the guy who handed it to me that it was 40 minutes late and his response was "I really couldn't tell ya." No offer to make it right, no real acknowledgement. I get that they may have been overwhelmed or understaffed tonight but there were some easy ways to handle for this miss from adjusting my expectations once I arrived or an offer to make it right in some way (a discount, a free drink, etc). Update in response to owner (Aug 19): The owner responded with the assumption that this was a delivery order. Sorry for not being clearer in my review but this was not a delivery order. This was a pickup order. I worry that the young woman you spoke to confused my order with another order. I was waiting in the restaurant for those 40 minutes, ready to pick it up. It was definitely not ready at the estimated time.

The first time here, you guys have to come and taste the pizza it was great. It took longer than expected to get my beer, but it was good food chesse bread are good and friendly staff. Definitely recommend this location.

Hands down one of the best pizza places I've tried. The crust was perfectly crispy. Toppings were plentiful and well distributed. Definitely going back. Waitress and chef were super friendly and helpful. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Delicious and authentic Italian food, as always! Creative flavor combinations and satisfying servings with relaxing ambiance make this a favorite spot. Full vegan menu AND full regular menu, with plenty of gluten-free options. :) I cannot stress enough what a relief it is to have a full vegan menu and not have to worry about checking every single ingredient for every menu item. THANK YOU! Too hard to pick a favorite vegan pizza (they're always adding to the extensive menu!) but their vegan sausage calzone makes me forget I'm vegan. And any menu item that has their vegan ricotta (which I think is made in house!) is VERY good. Vegan or not, you won't be disappointed here.

I came here for my first time yesterday. Ordered a vegan sandwich and a Hawaiian pizza. The sandwich and pizza were both great. The sauce on the pizza was really flavorful. You can order pizza by the slice or order full pizzas. The store itself is a bit small, but it’s quaint and has outdoor seating as well. They also serve a range of beers, a lot of vegan options, and even Italian dinners. A versatile and interesting menu full of quirky and inventive surprises — you can tell the owner is putting in a big effort.
