Budd Bay Cafe is a classic Northwest fish house located on the waterfront, offering stunning views of Budd Bay and a delightful Sunday seafood brunch. The restaurant is known for its oysters and chips, perfect for those seeking a light meal featuring their favorite bivalve. However, the menu also includes a variety of other delicious options to cater to all tastes. Visitors praise the courteous and professional service as well as the extensive menu selections across different food categories.
We arrived at 4:00, the perfect time for Happy Hour. Not intentional, but fortunate. I enjoyed the fantastic fried artichoke hearts, even eating the arugula underneath. Next was the tuna burger sandwich. Perfectly cooked, and pink inside. So thick! Knife and fork sandwich. My companion enjoyed the award-winning ( as always ) clam chowder - delicious. Finishing with the Seafood Cobb Salad. Generous amounts of crab and shrimp - and olives :-). Really beautiful, fun place to eat.

Wandered in looking for something to eat while I waited for my friend to get off work. Sat at the bar and ordered a Lavender French 75 to start while I ordered my Sunset Dinner of fried artichoke hearts, rajun cajun salmon cesar salad, and NY style cheese cake. After I finished my Lavender French, I asked for something Apple and sour and Isaiah did not disappoint with an apple bourbon sour. The fried artichoke hearts are crispy and flavorful. The salmon was slightly sweet, not too fishy and paired well with the candied pecans that topped the cesar salad. I was unable to finish the salad and had to take it to go, as well as my cheesecake. My cheesecake will make a wonderful midnight snack as it looks delicious. Let's not forget the beautiful view as well.

Budd Bay was incredible! We went for a special occasion and the experience here was perfect! The food was utterly delicious, the chowder alone something I’d return for (get sherry on top!). The Dungeness crab cakes were so tasty and addictive. But what made our experience so great was the helpful, friendly staff! Nick was so attentive and resolved a menu issue we had flawlessly. We will be returning!

I've been here a few times. The food is really good. It has changed some since my first visit, but rhe food is really good. The server we had was really attentive, patient, and friendly. A great place to check out if you enjoy seafood.
Nkeiruka E — Google review
Nice place for lunch right on the dock of downtown Olympia. The servers are always polite and consistent. We tried the seafood salad and loved that the first time, second time we stopped in it tasted sweeter and didn’t look this gorgeous. I love the crab cakes. I didn’t like seafood platter and I thought butternut squash pasta was just okay.
C S — Google review
We took advantage of the sunset dinner special, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations! The value was fantastic—plenty of food at a great price. Every course was delicious, and the crème brûlée was the perfect sweet finish to a wonderful meal. Our server was incredibly attentive and had such a warm, vibrant personality that made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Jackie — Google review
We are outside with a view of the Bay which was relaxing and perfect since the weather was nice. The food was good and well portioned out, we were just expecting a little bit more flavor to it. However, it was worth the money since we got a three course meal. We would eat here again if in the area.
Jade H — Google review
Visited the Capitol building and stopped here for lunch. Surprise, no lunch menu! Food is expensive for what you get and it was simply ok. Not great, not terrible. Dinning room is really showing its age and could use a refresh. Server was nice but not overly engaging. Best part was the view of the water. Doubt we will ever find ourselves back in Olympia but if we do, we would not return. Still trying to figure out why this clam chowder was so dang expensive. It simply wasn't that good.

Oyster bar restaurant
Chelsea Farms Oyster Bar in Olympia, WA is a stylish and contemporary eatery and bar that offers a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy seafood, brunch, and cocktails. The bar features a swanky lounge area where you can sip on specialty drinks like the Harry Potter-themed cocktails or the monthly-rotating zodiac cocktail series. Owned by second-generation shellfish farmers, they serve up their own sustainably raised oysters with several choices of oyster dishes on the menu.
Best clam chowder I have ever had. I have lived in the northwest for 25 years and this restaurant offers the best clam chowder I have ever had. Clams in the shell are all firm and fresh, pork cubes are tender and juicy, chowder is well seasoned. The clam and pork portion is very generous. I will definitely come back again for its clam chowder. We ordered oysters and it's excellent too. Very fresh and sweet. Service is excellent. Our waiter is knowledgeable about the clams and oysters from restaurants own farm. He's also very attentive. When he noticed our oysters with sake flight was late, he kept checking kitchen and gave us status update. Appreciate it. That's a good service I am willing to pay extra tips. The restaurant is very popular so I highly suggest to make reservations if you can.

I came here for my birthday and it was such a lovely experience! The lobster roll is massive and well worth the price. My partner got the fish and chips and he says it’s his favorite he’s had since moving out to Olympia. The rockfish is a great choice, batter was super crispy and everything was hot. We split the warm blondie for dessert. Loved the atmosphere. Thank you!
Chelsea H — Google review
Wonderful spot! Found ourselves here after wandering away empty stomached from a super busy brunch nearby. Great food, friendly and prompt service, nice atmosphere. Everything, including the drinks and oysters, was amazing! Shame we don’t live nearby to make this a regular spot. But we’ll be back eventually!
Cody B — Google review
Super fresh oysters, including my favorite Little Lilies, Kumamotos and their Chelsea during happy hour did not disappoint. Tried their orange cocktail too, and it was dangerously good. Left happy and satisfied. My new favorite spot which I will visit whenever I'm passing through town.
K S — Google review
Some of the best oysters I have ever had-fresh, great texture, and BIG! Also, don't sleep on their lobster roll, also one of the best I've ever had! Their menu is diverse and delicious. Cocktails are smooth and happy hour is a great value. A MUST!
Bridget M — Google review
really good! kinda expensive, but that's to he expected for seafood. I got the lobster Mac and cheese, my friend got the lobster bisque. we also got the chelsea gem oysters, and garlic bread. oysters weren't my thing. we both enjoyed our food though!
Zero M — Google review
I have been here several times the past few years and each time is amazing! Last night, we ordered oysters, scallops and calamari and took advantage of the happy hour drink specials. Everything was fantastic! Our server Sim was also great!
Jamin Y — Google review
We had a great time and experience at the bar in the back of the restaurant. The bartender was very helpful in guiding us and other guests in choosing oysters for the first time. I’m always up for a food adventure and it was a treat! One of the guests at the bar worked for a farm and shared a ton of knowledge. I had the Geoduck Sashimi and it was delightful. I’m a purist and want to taste food without citrus or vinegar and take that between bites. It was a great time. My only wish is that the city would be more involved in patrolling the area. It just made me a bit uncomfortable parking even at mid day because of street people and litter. There were plenty of tourists and that helped.

It's known for its great service, large portions of food, and good quality American cuisine. The atmosphere is described as private-ish and not too loud, making it suitable for gatherings or casual dining. Customers have praised the delicious fish and chips as well as the generous servings at reasonable prices.
I liked this place and think that they had a good selection! I tried a couple of the IPAs and was not disappointed!!! The staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful in selecting beers, the food was good as well! We had the public house burger and they cooked it to order! We also had the tater tots which were impressive from someone coming from the Midwest! The place was fairly spacious, with indoor and outdoor seating and a pretty sizable indoor area. This place had good ambiance and overall great place to stop for a beer and food!!
Joseph M — Google review
This place is super chill and quite spacious and open. Outdoor seating available. Good portions, food didn't disappoint, could barely open my mouth wide enough for the messy pulled pork sandwich. The cheese curds were my favorite and they definitely do their caesar salads right! Service was friendly and a tad sheepish.
Kate — Google review
It makes me sad that Fish Tale Brew Pub is closing its doors. When we travel to Olympic and Tacoma for ball games, it's our favorite place to eat. Thank you Jody for the great service. Our fish Taco were not as good this time, but we still enjoyed eating 😋 there. Good luck to the owner and all his employees going forward, we will miss you. Sam and Debbie

I got in a bit too late for the main menu. I did have the happy hour menu and what can I say but WOW. The Fish taco was bomb, nachos where great, the guacamole was on point. The beer was crisp and refreshing. The ciders are awesome. I would come here to get drunk and eat good food.
Ernesto D — Google review
Great selection of beer from a classic WA brewpub. I enjoyed each of my 4 samples. The imperial IPA with honey notes (Hodgson’s Imperial IPA) was the standout for me. Their nachos were excellent with plenty to go around for a group. The venue is huge but in need of some interior investment. Super nice and attentive staff!
Eric H — Google review
Nice place for take couple pint of beer with snack. Very friendly staff and good quality beer. And surprise for me was be very good cider “Dark and dry”. And very funny classic Belgian style beer for some hidden reason named as Scotch ale )))
Cat S — Google review
This was a nice, quiet place for a good afternoon beer. The service was good, and it's a big enough space you could spread out and keep your distance from the other patrons. The beer was really good. I had the Seapine Mosaic Pale, and the Matchless Topaz Hazy IPA. Both were excellent, but I liked the Matchless better.
David S — Google review
Amazing food! The fish and chips are to die for! It's just a good place for some good ol fashioned American food that is good quality. Servings are large and good for the price, so you shouldn't leave here hungry or disappointed. Good parking out back, too. Definitely recommend it to anyone in the Olympia area looking for melt in your mouth beer battered cod!

Bakery
The Bread Peddler is a charming artisan bakery and cafe located downtown, offering a delightful assortment of homemade pastries, breads, and coffee drinks. They take pride in using the best ingredients available, including organics and premium produce sourced from local purveyors. Customers can enjoy delicious sourdough bread and an array of treats such as croissants, scones, cookies, cakes, and tarts. The prices are reasonable for the quality offered.
Nestled in the heart of downtown Olympia, The Bread Peddler is a charming French bakery that perfectly blends coziness with a trendy vibe. Upon entering, the inviting aroma of freshly baked goods envelops you, setting the stage for a delightful culinary experience. During my visit, I indulged in a selection of their offerings, starting with the almond raspberry cake. This dessert was a true standout, featuring a moist almond base complemented by a burst of tart raspberry, creating a harmonious balance of flavors that left me craving more. My husband savored a croissant filled with ham, Swiss cheese, and egg. The croissant was flaky and buttery, with the savory filling adding a satisfying richness. Each bite was a delightful combination of textures and tastes, making it a perfect choice for breakfast or brunch. The mushroom quiche was equally impressive, boasting a creamy filling packed with earthy mushrooms, onions, spinach, and a perfectly baked crust. It was both hearty and comforting, showcasing the bakery's commitment to quality ingredients and skillful preparation. To accompany his meal, Hubby opted for the salted honey latte, which was nothing short of luscious. The blend of sweet and salty notes, combined with the rich coffee, created a delightful beverage that elevated the entire experience. Overall, The Bread Peddler is a must-visit for anyone in downtown Olympia. With its delectable fare and inviting atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely meal or a quick coffee break.
Kristina S — Google review
I've been here a few times both dining in and getting pastries to go. Their pastries are top notch. The morning roll and almond croissants are my favorite so far. My husband really likes their ham and cheese croissant. I haven't gone in early enough to get my hands on other pastries that sell out in the early morning. Service is very mediocre here, which is a shame. They have the potential to be a better business and better train their staff, but it seems like they don't care to do so from all the others out their service they've received from other customers in the past. Their coffee/lattes is pretty basic nothing special, but their bread and pastries are their highlights. The inside seating is pretty small with a few tables and some stools by the window. You can order your pastry and coffee to dine in and they'll serve you the pastries on a plate then you find your seating. They'll call your drinks up and you grab it at the counter by the barista. In case you're new they have a put away station for your cups and plates on the right side before you walk into the room with the tables. You clean up your mess which is fine. I just wished the employees had mentioned this knowing it's my first time there. I left my cups and plates on my first trip here not knowing and feeling so bad about it once I figured this out on my own. From other reviews I've read there seems to be a lot of confusion about how they run things here. From where the line starts and how to dine in. I'm going to ask the staff on my next trip and update my review in hopes it'll help others.
Jadey719 — Google review
The ONLY place for French style levain (natural rise) sourdough, baguettes, huge cookies, & pastries (kouign-amann!). Try their semolina sourdough, which adds a soft, fluffy, chewy texture for sandwiches & toast. Stay awhile for cafe breakfast & lunch sammies made like they do in Paris. The staff is knowledgeable, experienced, & friendly, answering all of your questions. They also show up at the daily farmer's market, selling out early. PS. On our second trip, on a Wed. at 11 am, one of the staff ringing up our order seemed put out when my husband saw her adding a ginger cookie the customer behind us got. A longtime customer. He proceeded to make sure she rang up everything we were getting. She was short with us. That's sad because EVERYONE else on staff we've dealt with, including the lovely lady manning the farmer's market, has been so nice & welcoming.
Carol W — Google review
These croissants are great! If all you've had is below average croissants. I read other reviews and they're not altogether wrong if their expectation is a big soft doughy roll. My expectation is a non-greasy fresh buttery flavor that doesn't taste like land o lakes, light and airy consistency that melts away in the mouth kinda like cotton candy and a flakiness that has you struggling to contain them. Unfortunately these were kinda greasy, doughy and stale-tough. Meh. Eat them if you want but I'm gonna keep looking.
Law F — Google review
I visited this morning after reading the reviews. The environment is warm, cozy, and filled with wonderful smells of bread baking and other delights. I ordered some of the sourdough, a couple chocolate chip cookies, and a cinnamon twist croissant type pastry. One of their barista experts named Ever was especially kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure our experience was pleasant. Extra kudos and goodwill! The food was superb and the coffee was delicious. Go check them out. You will not regret it!
Brian C — Google review
Something important to note is that they make batches of stuff in the morning and then only sell that throughout the day. So towards the end of their open hours, they get super low or are out of many items. You don't always know what's out until you've waited in line for 5-10 minutes. The service was pretty good though. Nice employees and quick once it was time to order. I agree with other reviewers that items should be labeled. Some things are obvious, but the things that aren't, you get stuck asking the stupid question of "what's that" or trying to order something off the menu that is already out of stock because you couldn't tell what things were. The quality of baked goods here is really good though. I came across this place at the farmers market first and then stopped by since their market stand was pretty much cleared out. Was surprised to find the same in store as well. But at the time, I didn't know yet that they only make one batch of things each day. Long story short - go earlier if you want options.
Becca J — Google review
My wife and I have weekly dates at the Bread Peddler. Every Sunday morning, you will find us standing outside the door waiting for them to open at 7 AM. The pastries are AMAZING - the best in town! The challenge is deciding which one to select, they're all SO good! But not to worry. We'll have one there with freshly brewed coffee, and then take some to go for the week. (You can never have enough pastries, as one of our Bread Peddler friends told us), We have gotten to know the bakery's awesome crew pretty well, and we love every single one of them! Can't say enough good things about the Bread Peddler. Try it for yourself. Guarantee, you'll keep going back. And if you happen to be there on a Sunday morning, you might see us sitting at the table like two old lovebirds on a date savoring our pastries.

A large group of us came by this morning and everybody loved their items! Apple danish and the spinach artichoke one are my favorite!

McMenamins Spar Café, a part of the McMenamins restaurant and hotel group, offers a delightful escape into the past with its historic building and bohemian vibe. Originally a gathering spot for dockworkers and loggers, it now serves New American pub grub and craft beers with a touch of history. The menu features Northwest pub fare made with seasonal ingredients, including must-try items like the Cajun tater tots and truffle fries.
I've been coming to this place for over 50 years. You will never walk away hungry or regretting anything you ordered. The service was absolutely stellar! Amanda was very attentive to any of our cuisine requests. Are coffee cups were always kept topped off. I'm a very difficult person to please, And they managed to make me feel like a king. I would recommend this place whether you're looking for just a cup of coffee, a full sit-down meal or a quick game of pool or shuffleboard. Fantastic atmosphere.

First time at the Soar Cafe. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was great! The wife has celiacs and absolutely no issues with the food and processing. Cute and historic place. Also, the water was amazing! Server said it’s from an artesian well! No chlorine taste like most city water.

This diner is located in the downtown of Olympia and has some of the best pancakes in town. I enjoy coming here because of the history behind the restaurant and the good food. If you want some good breakfast, come to McNenamins Spar Café!
Julian N — Google review
Great breakfast! The cottage potatoes have a nice flavor and fried to perfection! I love this old cafe, the decor, furniture, and everything is really neat! The waitstaff are also fantastic.
Jackie S — Google review
We stumbled upon the Spar Cafe in Olympia after a Google search for a diner with all-day breakfast. Quick tip: we found out breakfast is daytime-only, so plan ahead! We decided to stay anyway, mainly because the vibe is what hits you first. It’s all that cool Art Deco style and history, making it a super unique spot worth checking out. The service was a high point. Even though it was seat-yourself, the staff was attentive and friendly from the jump. Major points for service! Plus, as a McMenamins spot, they have a very good beer selection to choose from. I ordered a Terminator Stout (a classic) which was the perfect rich complement to my food. Food-wise, things were a little uneven. I was very pleased with my order: the Reuben sandwich was a winner—super moist, flavorful, and a solid portion. My side of peanut soup was a great substitute for the fries. My daughter's burger, though, was just okay—pretty dry, nothing special. The fries and the tiramisu dessert fell into the same "average" category. Spar Cafe is a must-see for the atmosphere and great service. While my delicious Reuben proves they can nail a dish, the kitchen's approach to the burger and dessert was simply average. Overall, the experience was good, and I would recommend trying it at least once if you are in Olympia for the historic vibe.

We were traveling back home from Centralia and decided to stop here and have some food. I am glad that we did. This McMenamins location - Spar Cafe is really delicious! We also appreciated the outdoor seating that allowed dogs. The staff were really friendly, quick, and very attentive to our needs. They were a little late switching over from breakfast to lunch, but they kept us posted when lunch would be ready. I had the cheese pizza and my wife had the Jamaican bowl and the Cajun fries. All of these dishes were absolutely delicious. They were full of flavor and served hot and fresh. The Cajun fries had just the right amount of Cajun seasoning. I definitely recommend this McMenamins location for pub food lovers.

Fabulous food and great service. We thoroughly enjoyed the eggs benedict and classic breakfast. Highly recommend their biscuits and pancakes which are so well made. Had good burgers here too and excellent fries. The restaurant has a long and interesting history as well as a great atmosphere which makes you feel like you're stepping back in time.

A nice bustling downtown and time for lunch! I like atmosphere, which is all subjective, I know, and Spar has history. Grabbed a small booth in the window and we ordered quickly. RC Cola! That is a taste from our past, grandparents and parents introduced us to the taste. Burger sliders and truffle fries made a filling, and very tasty, lunch treat. Drop in and sit a while

Pizza restaurant
Old School Pizzeria is an iconic joint in downtown Olympia, serving New York-style pizza for decades. The place is adorned with '80s posters and retro decor, creating a hip atmosphere. They offer tempting options like pizza by the slice and garlic knots, perfect for a late-night experience. The staff are described as cool and friendly, adding to the overall vibe of the pizzeria. In addition to their delicious pizza, they also have pinball and video games available for entertainment.
My reviews are sometimes brutally honest but fair. We heard about this place on a search to find authentic east coast style pizza and drove an hour to try it out. Google maps led us there, no problem. Parking was not bad at all. Walked in, atmosphere was great! Lots of memorabilia covered every inch of the walls and they were rocking out, great vibe! Approach the counter and the lady just stared at us without saying a word and gave us both the impression we didn’t belong there, but hey we weren’t there for her so I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, garden salad and garlic twists. Not bad priced, under $50. We found a table, it was dirty but no big deal, it’s probably been busy so I cleaned it off. Food took a little bit, definitely fresh. Loved the name call when it was ready! East coast style!!! We enjoyed everything but I really want to rave about the pizza! The crust was perfection!!! We ate the whole thing and rolled out of there. Even though there were a few things I would have dropped stars for I am deciding to give them a 5 star because it’s all about the food! Great job Old School Pizzeria
Marie D — Google review
My coworker and I tried the Margherita pizza and their version of a supreme, and honestly, it was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! They make each one from scratch, so it does take a little time, but ours came out in about 15–20 minutes. Totally worth the wait. Plus, the arcade inside and the fun local area gave us plenty to do while waiting. Great spot all around!
J G — Google review
It was the best pizza my fiancé and I ever had. We got the old school pizza with pepperoni, feta, and olives as an 18 inch. The portions were huge, which was perfect for us as it was our first night in Olympia and was worth the fifteen minute wait. The music was really loud, which was the only reason we didn’t dine in. If you’ve got noise sensitivity, this probably isn’t a place for you to dine in. They do take out though. The atmosphere was pretty cool and reminded us of the 90’s.
Jade H — Google review
If you ever need a good slice for a good price I would stop at Old Skool Pizza. It’s worth the wait. Not super greasy and the crust has a nice chewy texture and crunch for a thin slice of pizza. I just got the standard New York slice. It was really good.

Visiting from southeast coast and it was funtasticabulou! Cool, trendy, grungy, atmosphere-great for family/friend gatherings. The walls are teaming with memorabilia from many eras. Love that slices were available and wait wasn’t long. Not NYC pizza, but darn close. Definitely better than I can get in my region. Offer vegan variations, but wait was too long for one of my guests (1hr) But she went across the street and brought back some Russian dumplings. They gave her no flack for eating with us at our table. ✌🏾

My pizza was delicious. Hot and fresh. Very nice atmosphere. Nice music. Awesome staff. Love the soda selection.

This is the best pizza I've had in Olympia. Better than Vic's, in my opinion. Especially the dough. The space is a bit messy, however, and the unassigned seating leads do people being greedy and claiming tables before they order. The Self bus station was a little bit gross in my opinion as well, but the pizza crust was on point. Folded nicely, cracked a little, and reminded me of the best pizzas I've had. The self-serve soda fountain was also a little bit crusty. The spouts look like they weren't as thoroughly cleaned as they could have been. The jukebox was playing a little too loud for my taste, and I do like loud music. The staff was friendly enough, didn't go out of their way to be friendly or anything. But the place had a cheerful atmosphere with decent service. UPDATE - several months later, this is still our favorite spot. It's the best pizza around. Every time I've ordered from here whether it be in person or over the phone I get my order correct, and the people are super nice. The soda fountain is my kid's favorite, and the whole ambience and feel of the place is just super homey to me. Adding a star to the atmosphere Reading because I think I get it more now. And I love this place. Sincerely.

One of the best pizzas I ate in a long time. 10/10 The dough, cheese and sauce was delicious. The size of the pie was just right and the price isn't bad either.

Lounge
Cynara Restaurant & Lounge is a charming eatery nestled in downtown Olympia, where the essence of Mediterranean cuisine comes alive. This inviting space emphasizes health-conscious, handmade dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients. The name "Cynara," which translates to artichoke in Greek, reflects the delightful flavors you can expect here. Chef Christian Skillings envisioned Cynara as a gathering spot for locals to enjoy both wholesome and indulgent meals.
A great spot for food and drink! We had the pleasure of being served by Jamey and Jamey (Jsquared) they were fast friendly and attentive. The food was great and full of flavor. As you walk in the door the aromas make you want to sample everything! If you like bread pudding, inquire within
Andre D — Google review
I heard about Cynara from someone who’s lived in Olympia for 30 years, so I thought it was worth checking out. However, as someone who moved here from Russia, I have pretty high standards when it comes to both food and service. When I heard this place had been recommended by someone local, I thought it must be good enough to give a try. We decided to share two appetizers and one main dish, knowing that American portions can be huge. I believe it’s totally reasonable to order one dish to share when the portions are so large, and we weren’t starving either. We ordered the artichoke hearts, lamb skewers, and duck in pomegranate sauce, which was priced at $48. When I order a dish for $48, I expect it to be excellent. I didn’t want to risk trying the $60 steaks or filet mignon because I wasn’t feeling confident about the place. The cocktail I ordered didn’t impress me much either. I typically enjoy cocktails, but this one didn’t stand out and didn’t make me want another. The food itself was fine—nothing special at all. The dishes looked as plain in photos as they tasted. As for the duck, my husband didn’t like it at all. The texture didn’t appeal to him. Personally, I’ve eaten duck at several upscale restaurants, so I know it was cooked to a good medium-rare, with a nice sear on the skin. However, I believe the sauce should not have been poured directly over the duck—some people might prefer to have it on the side. The pomegranate seeds were probably the best part of the dish, and the sauce wasn’t bad, but overall, it didn’t feel like anything memorable. I’ll give credit where it’s due—the service was great. The staff, especially the hostess who seated us and our server, were friendly, attentive, and made an effort to provide good service. But despite the nice service, I didn’t enjoy the meal, and I don’t feel compelled to return. The overall experience didn’t live up to the hype. If you’re expecting a “high-end” place, I’d say this restaurant doesn’t quite deliver on that front. It’s an okay spot, but not remarkable. One more thing—I love seafood, and I was surprised that the seafood offerings here were limited to a soup, pasta, and salmon. Given that the restaurant is located by the harbor, I expected to see fresh oysters or some other unique seafood dishes, but there was nothing like that. The artichoke hearts were fine, but again, nothing special—just deep-fried artichokes on a plate. If you’re looking for something truly outstanding, Cynara might not be the place. All in all, it was a decent experience, but I won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

I was impressed with how the food tasted. I’ve tried the lamb stew and my husband had the lamb skewers! For dessert we had the homemade baklava, with ice cream! Delicious!!! We will definitely come back here!

Awesome dinner that we have. I had the seafood rose pasta, it was so perfectly good. The employees were very nice and gave us details of what the food and drinks are. Good service there.

We stopped in on the way home from an epic Olympic park weekend visit. We were craving flavor and Cynara delivered. Lamb stew, lamb skewers, Cauliflower (main meal) and of course baklava. The harissa that comes with the skewers was smokey and spicy (heat). The stew meat was tender, the Cauliflower with pomegranate drizzle and rice pilf was savory with a touch of sweet. Baklava with the ice cream need I say more check the photo! This place has options for everyone.

I love this place! The food is delicious! The toast sampler with Chèvre cheese is amazing. Jamie is the best waitress in town. She is very professional and knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails- she created a new pumpkin spice martini and it’s super yummy 😋

I went recently to happy hour to escape the horror of I-5 and was pleasantly surprised. I had never been there before but had a pleasant time. The service was great and the bartender Jamie was extremely friendly. I ordered from the happy hour menu and loved my burger. It was well seasoned and had crispy edges which I like. I will be back for date night to give it a try. Thabks for a great experience.

Fast food restaurant
Restaurant
Arepa Latin Street Food is a vibrant food trailer that has captured the hearts of many with its authentic Venezuelan cuisine. Nestled downtown, this popular spot serves up an array of mouthwatering arepas—corn patties filled with delightful ingredients. Signature offerings include the reina arepa, brimming with avocado chicken salad, and the vegetarian patacon featuring crispy plantains topped with black beans and fresh veggies.
Arepa is a little gem you have to try located on the corner of 4th Ave in Oly. First off, the Owner is a fantastic chef and his food will have you hooked. Everyone on staff is very welcoming. The steak and fries are mouthwatering and it is some of the best perfectly steak and fries you'll ever have with amazing homemade Chimichurri sauce. The Carne Patacon is absolutely delicious as well, fried plantain topped with shredded beef, angel hair cabbage, avocado, pink sauce, and crumbled cheese. The fried plantains are so good also! I absolutely love the food there! During the summer, there is outdoor seating and it is so nice to sit outside to enjoy your meal. I highly recommend Arepa, the food is amazing & highly quality restaurant style. The food truck is very clean kept & they provide great service. Limited parking is available in the lot as well as street parking nearby
Tiff A — Google review
I twisted my ankle just before I arrived and the arepas were absolutely worth sticking around for lol

Yucca fries are so crispy and light. They should be a thing everywhere. They come with an unusual garlicky oil to dip in which was delicious. Puerco Patacon included nicely balanced, fresh ingredients: crispy hot pork, bright, cool veggies, cheese and cool sauce. I loved the fried plantains. It was very good though next time I'll try the shredded beef instead. There are outdoor tables with no cover.
Anita B — Google review
I got the Reina (avocado chicken salad arepa) and it was very good. Good amount of food, although my only complaint is the price. I really wanted plantains as a side but the total would have come out to ~$20. Was nice out so seating was good. Service was quick.
Justin C — Google review
Tried the burger and seasoned fries and really enjoyed everything! Burger was cooked well and basic but I still liked it. The fries were crispy and delicious! I will def be going back to try some of the other items on the menu! This is a food truck by the way so you have to park on the street and walk up!
Brandi ( — Google review
The food was great, but even better was that my kiddo with celiac disease found another place where she can eat out! The employees were patient while we sorted out what all 6 of us wanted to eat and the food came out hot and fast.
Carrina O — Google review
I really, really wanted to like this place. Haven't had a good Venezuelan arepa since I left my home state. Guess I'll keep looking.... The service was friendly and the food came quickly, but The fried plantains said they came with sweet cream -it was just cream cheese (with maybe some cream added?). The chicken avocado arepa was just plain chicken and mayo with avocado strips, in a somehow both burnt and still raw-on-the-inside arepa. The Cubano would be much better as a sandwich with more pickle. Much was left to be desired in terms of flavor unfortunately. The only items we truly enjoyed were the yucca fries, which were pretty good and a nostalgic treat, and the plantains themselves. The fries came with a clear garlic sauce instead of the typical white sauce, but it was quite tasty for what it was.
B. W — Google review
The reviews looked good and I love Latin food so I had to try but this was a not so well visit , Had the ropa vieja bowel(shredded beef w plantains, black beans & rice) , 2 empanadas (chicken & beef) and tostones (deep fried plantains) My dislike were the rice and beans ; some of the beans were hard and the rice was peeling with the bowel so the texture was not it …ended up throwing majority of the bowel away . The tostones were very un-eatable they were hard to the point you couldn’t bite in it nor chew. Only good buy was the shredded beef & empanadas. Besides that , service was ok asked question about something they were willing to explain.

Uptown Grill is particularly popular for its exceptional Sunday brunch experience, characterized by meticulous attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients. Customers have praised the generous portions and delicious flavors of their meals, making it a must-visit dining destination.
We went on the spur of the moment and was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic food. We started with the sweet potato fires. So good. I had their Chicken Pot Pie. The topping was buttery and flakey. The inside had large pieces of carrots and chicken. The chicken was tender and moist. The inside soup was so good. Home style cooking at its best. My son had their cowboy hamburger. It was cooked perfectly. The cheese melting on it and bacon along with onion on it made it a great hamburger. We plan on going back very soon to try their other items.

Everything that came out of the kitchen looked so good. We settled on the wings (appetizer) and sweet potato fries (appetizer) to share and then the steak salad to share. The steak was a little overdone but they split the salad for us and gave us an extra onion ring so it’s a five stars in my book. Will be back!

Nice place for lunch, very good burgers. French fries were pretty good, not greasy. Great shakes and malts, very small beer tap list, full bar. Excellent friendly service. Not very busy at lunch time on a Friday. On street parking only.

Finally sharing my review. unfortunately uptown was one of my Favorite places to eat in Olympia. I would come multiple times after work during happy hour (shout out to Brad, great bar tender). A couple months ago I came in for happy hour. They literally took everything off the menu that my coworker and I used to like! they took mac & cheese off the menu. They took sweet potato fries off the menu. They took the fish tacos off the menu etc. A couple weeks ago I came in on a Friday. I was disappointed to hear that they’re one of the only restaurants participating happy hour, but don’t do it on a Friday…. the day that everybody would like a happy hour! Tonight, my partner and I ordered mac & cheese (no meat), an order wings (6-8 wing dings), and one order of mac & cheese with grilled chicken. 3 items! It looks like they changed the recipe for the mac & cheese…there’s two different types of pastas and it’s DRY! Who uses bowtie in mac & cheese? The wing order basically had all drums. Please take a look at the picture and tell me why our food cost $70…. It’s just become not worth it anymore.

The food looks beautiful but lacks flavor and spice. It also killed my stomach. I was super disappointed. I’m sorry to leave a bad review but I was really hoping for a good meal.
Tina M — Google review
TLDR; average food, nothing special. Not quite sure why the ratings are so high. We ordered the nachos, potato tacos and the grilled firebird burrito between two people . Portion sizes are absolutely humongous and we had A LOT of leftovers. The nachos are below average and loaded with so much cheese that it’s all you can taste. The potato tacos were just ok. The burrito was fairly decent.
Pooja C — Google review
Simple but so cool. You first notice the iconic wall art of people eating random items. Delicious humongous burritos. Plenty of vegan options for the dietary challenged. A lovely selection of beverage options including NA beer. With wonderful 90 girl power music from Spice Girls to Alanis Morissette. Couldn’t even finish the burrito it was so big.
Alexandra H — Google review
Burritos were huge, but not a lot of flavor accept the firebird. We had the cadillac and firebird burrito. The service was not that great. There were not many people in the restaurant and t was very slow. Staff walking around with masks so you can't see if they are smiling or friendly and you not only have to order at the counter but they ask you to bus your table as well. It is very cold inside the building as well. I would eat there again for a take out meal and maybe try a breakfast burrito instead.

The first bite of Chimichurri tacos made me cry, it was that good. That has never happened to me before. My son loved his Breakfast Burrito. The person at the counter was very sweet and helpful. I also absolutely loved the art installation on the walls. Impressive. What a gem! I will be back to try everything else!

The service here was great! Even though we came in like a little less than an hour before closing, service was still good and we were able to have our fill of burritos after a full day of driving.
Makayla T — Google review
The Burritos were actually pretty good, everything else is not. Apparently this place closed down for a while and reopened in the last year, so prices, menu options, etc are not up to date. Every burrito is $15 and up. Service was very slow and atmosphere was terrible... Inappropriate pictures on the wall, bad smell, and limited seating. They have a "men's" restroom and an "all gender" restroom, no restroom for women. Overall, was not worth the tasty burrito and I won't be going back.

The menu features a variety of seafood options, including oysters prepared in different styles. While some visitors have found the food to be just okay, others have raved about the flavorful clam chowder and marionberry salmon.
Haven't been here for years. We got parking right in front. Sat in the bar. It was slow, and the bartender provided great service. Drinks were delicious. Had the crab dip appetizer, freaking delicious. I ordered the Drunken Chef. Great flavor, I will order that again! My date ordered the steak and lobster special of the night. She liked it 😀. Great experience.

Such a lovely lunch experience by the waterfront! Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and served with a smile. Here’s what we had: 🦪 Shucked Oysters (2 orders of 6) Super fresh and briny — absolutely delicious! Chilled on ice with lemon and cocktail sauce, they were the star of the meal. Would definitely come back just for these! 🍲 Clam Chowder Rich, creamy, and comforting. Full of flavor with a nice balance of herbs — perfect for a breezy afternoon by the water. 🐟 Halibut Dinner Simple but satisfying — grilled halibut was lightly seasoned, flaky, and fresh. Came with crispy fries and sautéed veggies (loved the crunchy broccoli mix). A great combo of textures. 🍺 Sierra Nevada Summer Lager & 🧊 Iced Tea Both drinks were refreshing and paired well with the seafood. 💰 Total: $113.04 (for 2 people) A bit on the pricier side, but worth it for the quality and location. Plus, no regrets on the oysters — they were amazing! 🌞 Dining outside on the deck was a bonus. The view, service, and atmosphere made it a perfect lunch stop in Olympia. Highly recommend!

Went here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. Hard to pick a place as a couple, as I love seafood, but my husband prefers meat dishes. I had the blue cheese and bacon baked oysters (delicious) and he had the prime rib dip and loved it! We will definitely go back!

The view is perfect. The location is also if you want to walk around the area. We came here for lunch and opted to sit outside to enjoy the sunshine and beautiful waterfront view. For appetizers, we ordered the Captain’s Platter. The oysters weren’t quite to our taste, but the calamari was perfectly cooked and delicious.
Vee P — Google review
The Oysters were great but they had a long arrival time since they were backed several oyster orders. Seemed like only one person was available for shucking the evening we went which surprised me since they are an “Oyster House”. Fries were awesome but the wagyu burger was dry and bland 😔 Fries and oysters hit the spot though and atmosphere is great!

Pretty good venue for food, drinks and music. Outdoor space is set up well for music. We sat at the bar for an afternoon drink. Moderately busy, but not at all slammed. No wait service acknowledged or even spoke to us for 15 minutes. Not a huge deal. Lady next to us at the bar finished her meal, paid and left. Her server didn’t even look at us, let alone ask if we wanted to order anything. Another 5 min go by and a different server finally asked if we wanted something. Asked for a particular beer and the complete answer was “No.” No explanation, no “would you like some else”, just No. We looked at him and he finally mentioned that keg had run out. Really weird vibe. In hindsight that was the final clue that we should have just got up and left. Ordered a different beer. Drank it and left. I guess when you’ve been around as long as the Olympia Oyster House you can afford to not give a crap about customer service. Likely won’t be back and will be sure to share our experience with friends.

The menu features curries, rice dishes, seafood, tofu lettuce wraps, spring rolls with peanut sauce, mushroom wontons, honey walnut shrimp, and more. I can’t believe that I had never tried this restaurant that is on my way home every time I go to town. I finally did the other night, and I don’t think I will ever go anywhere else to get my Chinese food fixed. There were so many Fresh vegetables and the few entrées that we tried were hands-down delicious! Even after the 20 minute drive home and the 15 minutes to settle in, the food was still hot. I definitely recommend their food and they were very kind and friendly as well. :-)

A mix of Chinese and Thai food. Very pretty atmosphere and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The green curry with shrimp was very very good, we also had the Mongolian beef and the the pork which were also tasty. Parking was very hard to find and not handicap friendly so we had to drop off and find parking down the street. There were lots of seating options, tables and booths and two sides to the restaurant so when one side filled up they were still able to take us. They closed after lunch and open back up in the evening.

I tried to eat the pad thai bc I was hungry but ended throwing it away. I am not trying to exaggerate or anything but I have had fair share of bad pad thais in my life but honestly this was the worst. We had take out and ate about 10 minutes after. The noodles were extremely over cooked and the sauce is very off, ketchup noodles? much like microwave food but americanized. Very shocking to read this is one of the popular dishes..if u haven't tried pad thai this is far from authenticity, I recommend to try elsewhere. There's also a 'unique' scent I've never tasted before in a thai food(perhaps ingredient in the sauce is too old?..) The staffs are very friendly though

Mercato Ristorante offers a sophisticated yet relaxed setting to savor authentic Italian cuisine and drinks. The restaurant features a full bar, outdoor seating, and even hosts weekend brunches. It's worth mentioning that Mercato Ristorante may not offer an extensive selection of traditional pasta dishes. However, guests appreciate the delicious drinks, appetizers, pasta, and desserts.
I came here with my friend for lunch the other day, and everything was spot on! We were seated quickly and our food didn’t take long either to arrive. Staff was very professional and attentive. We enjoyed the ambiance, but really when our food came we went straight in for the goods!! We ordered the Grilled Salmon Salad. The bread was complimentary. Subpar experience tonight. This is the 2nd time my family has been seated in a room completely alone with no other restaurant guests. I guess this could be a good thing if you like being alone or have rowdy kids but my kids are older and part of going out to eat is sharing some sort of atmosphere with others. Service was friendly. The food was delicious, the fat spaghetti was a bit plain and the pumpkin ravioli was more like a ravioli soup which was difficult to eat with a fork and not what I expected. We were not offered a bread service until I asked for it. Our bill was over $250 for 5 entrees, 2 appetizers, 1 wine and 3 lemonades. This seemed a bit high so we asked, because we were not given an itemized receipt even after questioning the total. After going home it just didn’t sit well with me because I had peeked at their menu online prior to going in and our total was close to $30 over. After a phone call they mentioned that they charge 10% tax not 9.8 plus 3% for credit cards. Our bill also included 18% gratuity which was fine but it still didn’t match their online prices to which someone finally said that they recently updated their in house prices and their website prices were outdated. Either way that was too hefty a check for a less than perfect experience and not one I wish to repeat.

The positives first. The polenta with mushroom gravy was amazing. So flavorful and creamy. I could have made a meal of it!! The insalata mista was so fresh. Recommend to all if you prefer simple and fewer ingredients. The steak salad used the same base as the Mista. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare. I could have used more flavor. Between the Radiatori and Rigatoni it was a tough call. One of us liked one better while another of us liked the other pasta. Both were delicious. I felt the Radiatori pasta was lighter. This restaurant was quite willing to split plates without charging extra for that service. Nice touch. The salad and the pasta dishes had very generous portions. Our deserts included a torte and bread pudding. My favorite was the bread pudding but both were excellent. I can’t forget the limoncello. It was homemade in store and was so light and tasty. Three of us tasted it and enjoyed the flavor. Now the few negatives. The bread service while complementary was cold bread with olive oil. Nice touch to be free but to take it over the top, heat the bread. Two of us had water but the server never replenished the water. Server gave two of us the wrong pasta. We couldn’t tell the difference between them and started eating the wrong dish. Front of the house needs to be more aware of people with wheelchairs!!! It was a BIG struggle to get in and out!!! Be more aware!!!!! Still, I recommend this place!!!

This has been a family favorite for years that I’ve shared with many friends along the way. Anytime we drive north from Portland, I strategically place a stop here on one of our routes. Everything is to die for from the espresso martinis, the 5 star Caesar salad, all the incredible handmade pastas (never skip the shrimp tagliatelle or the rigatoni), the incredible pizzas for the kids (and adults) and make sure to leave room for tiramisu!! The service is excellent and the prices are very fair for the quality of food and service!! Beautiful patio when the northwest weather permits and thoughtfully across the street from the beautiful farmers market!

The food is gourmet and really decent! We dined for Father's Day Dinner! My Father wanted a home style hamburger meat sauce that his mother and grandmother used to make. He chose the Bologna sauce. He said it was good but was what he wanted. They added chopped garlic to his salad which was also a family tradition. He said the salad was excellent. We had the polenta appetizer which was another family staple when he grew up. He said it was excellently prepared. I had The Radiatori. It was also quite good. Thank you for offering Italian fine dining to Olympia. Maybe you will add an old time hamburger meat sauce with basil and garlic to your menu. It's the 4th time I took my Father here since we found your restaurant. Our waiter was busy and somewhat forgetful. But all other times at your restaurant the wait people were awesome. Grazie mille, ti auguro una giornata fantastica!

What a delicious experience. We arrived here cold and hungry after a long day of fruitless work, and could not have come to a better place. The appetizers were tasty, the house made limoncello enticing and the chicken penne délectable. A dessert of bourbon bread pudding cast a spell on my heart, and compelles me to give an five star rating.

Came in with my husband and two boys. Service was great, everyone was attentive and friendly. Food was amazing! We had the burrata appetizer which was good. My sons and husband had their pizzas, everything tasted so fresh. I had the ravioli which is to die for! Perfect balance of flavors and texture. Would definitely come here again and recommend to others.

We visited while in town and were blown away! The pizza was absolutely delicious, and the gluten-free options were some of the best we've ever had. As someone with celiac, it's rare to find a place where I can enjoy both pizza and pasta without worry — and everything tasted incredible. The portions were generous, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the waitress was so kind and knowledgeable about gluten-free needs. We're not from the area, but this place made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

We went to Pizzeria La Gitana and the food was absolutely incredible! The carbonara pasta was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced — easily one of the best I’ve ever had. In fact, it was so good that I ended up ordering a second plate! The last time I enjoyed a carbonara this amazing was in NYC. For the kids, we ordered two 9-inch pizzas — one cheese and one pepperoni — and both were delicious with fresh ingredients, flavorful sauce, and a perfectly baked crust. Everything tasted so fresh and authentic. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. Every bite was delicious, and the overall dining experience was top-notch. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Italian food!

Delicious Wood-Fired Pizza and Amazing Desserts! We had a fantastic experience here! The wood-fired Italian pizza was absolutely delicious - perfectly crisp crust with fresh, flavorful toppings. We really like one of its specialties; Prosciutto Burrata pizza , really yummy!! The desserts were just as impressive - rich, indulgent, and the perfect way to end the meal. A big shoutout to our server, Eve, who made the evening even better. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout. Her warm personality and great service really stood out. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic Italian pizza and a welcoming atmosphere!.

We had the best time at Pizzeria La Gitana. From the moment we walked in, the owner greeted us personally with the most friendly energy that made us feel immediately welcome. I’d mentioned in the reservation notes that it was a date night, and he went above and beyond, taking us to the private room in the back, dimming the lights, and letting us pick our table. He even joked that he wasn’t dressed nice enough to serve us and would have to go do dishes instead — it was such a fun, memorable touch! Our server was wonderful — attentive without hovering, and always seemed to check in at just the right times. We tried one of their wines and loved it so much we ordered a whole bottle. The food was incredible — we customized their white pizza and it was perfection. The entire atmosphere was cozy, romantic, and just effortlessly charming. We ended up staying right until closing, finishing our wine, and our server never once made us feel rushed. Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Olympia — can’t recommend this spot enough for a date or special night out!

Dirty Dave's Pizza Parlor is a classic pizzeria with a lively and friendly atmosphere, featuring red leather booths and a nostalgic vibe. The menu offers a variety of options including sandwiches, salads, vegetarian dishes, pasta dinners, and an array of pizza choices such as the unique cashew topping. The diner exudes retro charm with vintage decor, pinball machines, and local memorabilia that tell stories of the neighborhood's history.
I was in the area due to my fiance needing surgery so I rented a room for a few days. Along with my recent dental surgery made it hard to find something to eat. Thank gosh for this place. I saw from the menu they had softer eats for me...so I called em up and ordered.. Chili... Raviolis.. Meatballs... All came with garlic bread which was perfect for the texture I needed. All the food I ordered was really good! None of it lasted long. Was fresh and tasty. The place was neat n clean... staff was super friendly and food was ready for take out fast, but not too fast. I ate there a few nights in a row and had the identical thing. I will be back to try a few other tempting things I saw. A solid visit to say the least. Thanks for being there in my time of food need. Remember to support your local business for they are the backbone of your community!

1st time eating here. I ordered a Chef's Salad. It was loaded with meat, cheese, croutons, a few tomato wedges, and iceberg lettuce mix. It was topped with your choice of salad dressings. This was a very large serving portion. My friend ordered the Jake sandwich. He said it was very tasty. The place is larger than it looks. Lots of booth seating and two large dining areas that could be used for private parties. The only thing that I did not like (being a senior citizen, old, and handicapped), was in had to find a table(booth), look at the menu, then go back to the front counter to place an order. Then you pay up front, and they ask for a tip before you see how their service even was. They do deliver the food and drinks to your table. After that, you are on your own. They never come back to check on you.
Lloyd W — Google review
I heard about "The Jake" and so we tried it and it was great! The French Caesar dressing was different but SO good. The food was crafted very nicely. The cheese bread was amazing as well! I am a sauce guy and the caesar, ranch and blue cheese where all great. Prices seemed great as well. Only downside was the size of the salad plate. It was too small and so it was not easy being able to mix things. Made a mess on the table. A great size for the price, so that's a catch 22. Customer service was just so so. Nothing spectacular there in my opinion. Overall I think we will be back and try the pizza. That looked great as well!

We were on the hunt for a good thin pizza as we are sick of the "usual" places. It was pretty busy at 7:30pm on a Friday so we had high hopes. Inside the tables are pretty close together but we got our food to go so it didn't matter. We expected the noise level to be high but it wasn't bad. The people at the counter were pretty nice. We ordered an extra large (15 in) cheese pizza, extra cheese and sauce for $23.99 + $1.50 and a bowl of chili for $5.95. #1 15 inches is NOT huge. #2 There wasn't much cheese for just cheese let alone extra cheese. #3 Price was kinda high imo. #4 Omg so bland! #5 Burnt bottom. #6 Chili reminded us of Wendy's, only more expensive. Disappointed as it could have been so much better. We will continue our search for a good thin crust while we are out. Otherwise, Jack's from the grocery store is better.

Pizzas are DELICIOUS! If you know anything about Shakeys pizza parlor in Cali, Dirty Dave’s is almost identical ❤️ only thing is they do not offer fried foods like French fries or chicken wings or fried chicken. Their salads are enough to feed to people bowls are small but piled high 😁 one of my favorite pizza places

Cascadia Grill is a popular Pacific Northwest brasserie known for its casual atmosphere and diverse menu. The restaurant offers a wide range of options, including salads, burgers, local brews, and an extensive selection of veggie-friendly dishes. Customers have praised the attentive staff and the variety of food choices, from fresh seafood like COHOS Gone Wild Salmon to vegan and vegetarian options. The interior decor reflects the region's identity with Pacific Northwest icons, creating a fun and inviting ambiance for diners.
We were visiting from out of town and decided to go to Cascadia Grill because they're dog friendly. Our server was so sweet and welcoming. Our dog was given a plate of bacon and a bowl of water, as well as lots of pets. We loved the dog table! The owner even came out and said hello. Overall had a great experience! We enjoyed finding our first inside dog-friendly restaurant! Didn’t expect there to be a dog dedicated eating booth, which was fantastic, along with the water bowl and a bacon treat from all the ecstatic restaurant staff. Food itself was pretty good. A bit pricey, was a little more than I was looking to spend on lunch. I got the indochine sandwich and it was pretty tasty, I felt that there wasn’t enough sauce and the meat was a bit too chewy and sometimes hard to eat. Great service! Accessibility: looked like plenty of tables and booths with various styles, I’m sure that a wheelchair could be accommodated at the pull-up tables. I don’t remember seeing any automatic door opening devices on the front door or restroom. The restroom seemed kind of small.

Quite the nice gem. Food is excellent. Husband had a steak special, I had the Flex Those Mussels, and we shared the poutine. All were flavorful; the steak was cooked just right, and the mussels were properly cleaned. Staff are very friendly and committed to making their customers feel safe. Atmosphere is cozy and informal. The only disappointment was dessert; fans of rich chocolate desserts should be aware that the flourless torte is more like a gluten-free cake than the kind of torte you're accustomed to. Overall, a great place though. We'll be back.

The ‘rents are big on this spot and I can’t blame them. A PNW institution, the decor reps our fine region and gives historic nods to our city. A good sense of humor, Smucho Gusto music nights, and big fresh plates of food. Charmed by Cascadia

If you're on the hunt for a delightful burger experience in Olympia, look no further than Eastside Big Tom. This beloved drive-thru spot has been serving up smiles for over six decades and is now catering to gluten-free diners with their new bun option available for any of their 13 mouthwatering burgers, including the classic Big Tom and Boca varieties. Families flock here not just for the food but also for the whimsical atmosphere featuring giant dinosaurs and picnic-style seating that adds a playful touch to your meal.
Delicious burger, crinkle cut fries, and shakes. I've driven by this place so many times with my friends when it was closed so we made a special trip to check it out. The workers were always moving to get the food out, but there were a couple of confusions with parts of the order coming at a time and not knowing where the customer was. We got everything we ordered even if not all at once. The milkshakes have a variety of flavors and you can mix in 2 flavors if you want. We went at night when it was raining, but they had covered outside seating with a heater overhead. It was a comfortable atmosphere even it was just picnic benches. The decor is so much fun to look at with creative signs and dinosaurs. They have plenty of parking on both sides of the building, but you can also just go through the drive thru. Fun place to visit and I highly recommend the trip!

The consensus online is that this is the best burger spot in Olympia. It’s been on my list for a while, but I’m not local. I had to make a trip to Tacoma yesterday (Saturday) and decided to make a pit stop. Nobody told me about the dinosaurs! So cool! I arrived early before it was warm outside and had the whole outdoor space to myself to explore and take pictures. I was the only car when I arrived, so I pulled up to the window, and my exchange with the cashier was super fast and friendly. I don’t think I sat there longer than two minutes before I got my burger. I got the deluxe with cheese. Their spread is similar to Burgerville’s, but somehow the flavor reminds me more of egg salad so I like it better. I can’t wait to come back to try a shake!

This is a quirky, fun drive thru. Very first drive thru in WA state. The burgers were really good. The "goop" on the burgers was good but tastes like it's mustard based, so if you're not a mustard fan, don't get it. Crinkle fries are just a deep fried version of the ones you can make at home in your oven. They tasted like it was time to change the fryer oil! I had a Dr Pepper milkshake and that WAS awesome. Overall, it was a good meal but not worth the 2 hr drive here 😆

The Mark Olympia is a sophisticated Italian eatery that exudes an amorous atmosphere and boasts thoughtfully procured ingredients. Its charming patio seating adds to the romantic ambiance. This upscale restaurant offers delectable dishes with a rustic-Italian flair, emphasizing organic produce. While it may be considered somewhat costly for locals, the cuisine is of high quality. Visited a month ago for the first time with friends and took my husband tonight because it quickly became a favorite. He agreed that the atmosphere is so unique and nostalgic that we absolutely be back. This has now officially become our go to spot for a fancy drink. The vibes, menu, and art/photography are unbeatable.

This is a unique gem. A big city experience in our little community. Forget the 4.3 rating. The reviews go back at least 11 years and most are no longer relevant. You need to get here while the Jasmine garden in the secluded and quiet, covered, open air patio is still in bloom. The sensory experience is unforgettable! You will even enjoy this while it’s raining. The Mark is now a sophisticated cocktail bar, with luxuriant real wood wall paneling, genuine leather seating, a beautiful and well stocked bar, real art and bits of humor and history make touring the walls, drink in hand, a moment worth repeating. The pizza is the real thing, think Rome, not Chicago. You can cut the chef’s accent with a knife. and do hope he’s parked his 63 Porsche out front. Yes, you do have to walk to and from the bar for your order, and pay cash (there a $2 ATM). But that bit of effort earns you excellent drinks, fairly poured, reasonably priced. And for us extreme radicals who get our cash from the credit union we help the owner behind the bar, who created this evening refuge for us, stiff the banks. I love this place. Let’s keep it.

It’s the perfect blend of new and old in a beautiful symphony of art, music, decor and community. You can sense the history, passion and care that’s brought to the space. Gosh, I have so much to say, where to begin? TLDR Version:  FUTURE customers.... Food options are individual slices of pizza, or small side salads. You won't have table service, and will be ordering at the bar. It is CASH-ONLY. You may experience strange customer-service behavior, and weird excuses for things. Overall, I was really confused here. I was expecting a high-end experience, but it really wasn't... at all. The vibe and atmosphere IS 10/10. There is nothing as cute and stylish in Olympia. It's SUCH a beautiful, relaxing space. But the experience.... Order at the counter, only small portions available, cash only.... Makes me so confused. It does not match the environment. I was expecting to spend $$$ on a fancy dinner here, but the menu didn't provide the opportunity to do so. Drinks on the other hand were $$$ -- overpriced. But they were also underpoured, and not very good. My partner ordered an old fashioned and instead of using sugar or a simple syrup for a sweetener, the bartender used a dribble of cherry juice, stating that it wouldn't give him cancer... odd. We left soon after ordering a pair of drinks and a slice of pizza because... I wanted dinner and quickly realized we couldn't really get that here. This would be a perfect spot for... Happy hour? Lunch? But they don't open until 5:30... Dinner time. Soooo why aren't there large portion options? For example, I would have loved to have ordered a large salad entree and easily paid... $20-25, but I could only order a $6 very small side salad. Like... What? If they are already making small salads... couldn't they make entree sized salads too? And actually is it open at 5:30 or is it 6? They have 2 signs outside the building with different open hours...? That's confusing. I saw this other couple (younger) in the restaurant who presumably were on a date night... They looked incredibly disappointed. I imagined they wanted dinner too. The pictures on Google maps of food items that aren't pizza are no longer accurate. Also, the lit up open sign should be raised higher so that people can actually see it from the road.

This was a cool and eclectic bar with pretty good beer. Dog friendly inside and outside! There were two food trucks outside. They have an older tv, vcr and a bunch of vhs tapes that you can sit and watch which is a neat idea! I really enjoyed my time here and glad I stopped by!

**Terrible experience!** I have a severe alcohol allergy, and before ordering, I specifically asked for a drink that was completely alcohol-free. They recommended me a "MAGIC" drink, assuring me it contained no alcohol. However, within 30 minutes of drinking it, I started feeling dizzy, my entire body turned red, and I began talking nonsense—clear signs of alcohol in the drink. Despite the obvious symptoms, the staff refused to admit that the drink contained alcohol. When I tried to rest on the couch because I felt so unwell, they rudely told me to leave, claiming that lying down would affect their business. I was furious but too sick to argue. This place is absolutely unprofessional, irresponsible, and disrespectful. I would never recommend it to anyone!

One of our favorite breweries in town, and has been through multiple evolutions in recent years (pandemic, food service, etc.). The beer is great, the service is great, the location and vibe, both indoors and outdoors, is GREAT. What more can you want in a place to meet up w/ friends and spend an afternoon. On top of this, we recently picked 3Mags to host an event with a fairly large group (~80 people). Sara and her staff went above and beyond to accommodation us and everything went off without a hitch. Days/weeks later we are still hearing from people about what a great place it was to gather. Thank you Sara and staff!!!

Food wasn't anything outstanding. Great selection of beer and nice atmosphere. Specifically we loved that the burger Buns were home made and they are a nice smaller size. Clam chowder wasn't anything special but nice and chunky. The chickpea bowl was a good size but overall a bit dry. The mushroom burger was good but also a bit dry.

This place is a gem! Tucked away off the street in downtown Oly, the atmosphere and service match the brews: high quality. When announcing 'I'm new' the help immediately began pouring me tastes until I found the right choice for me. They have a great resource for downtown food online (a great primer) a very nice patio, a comfortable 'working taproom' feeling with malt bags hanging from the ceiling... And best of all, very tasty beers with unique twists on solid style pedigree. Take beer to go, bring your own food, whatever. Three Magnets is the place for you. Highly recommend.

Olympia Coffee Roasting Company is a local favorite with multiple locations, known for its commitment to quality and handcrafted coffee. The company prides itself on slow-roasting all of its coffee by hand and providing top-notch barista training. Their signature blend offers rich notes that pair perfectly with their delectable pastries. Visitors rave about the relaxing atmosphere and the delicious seasonal lattes and kouign-amann pastries recommended by the knowledgeable baristas.
Very good size coffee shop with exceptional customer service. For me service is everything when you're in this line of work/business. Engaging with customers and making small talks is definitely the way to go. I ordered their Sugar Plum Latte and a Vanilla Latte with oat milk. The Sugar Plum Latte was delicious, but I don't think I like the oat milk they carry. I've had other lattes with oat milk at their Capitol location and feel the same about those ones too. Their coffee beans in general are really good. You can taste the quality of their coffee. I'll probably just get my lattes with milk going forward. Can't wait to try their pour over and their upcoming seasonal menu.

This place, located right in front of City Hall, leaves a strong impression as soon as you step in, with its coffee roasting machines and cupping room on display. The clean space is filled with the wonderful aroma of coffee. The coffee's taste is subjective and varies by personal preference, but I generally enjoy coffee with bright acidity, so it didn’t quite match my taste. However, the Matcha Latte was excellent. In the back, I noticed a Barista Training Center in the building. It’s definitely a place worth recommending!

Cool place! The gluten free biscuit was light in texture and had a good flavor. Tacos were a nice breakfast. A little expensive overall
Eli L — Google review
The prices were pretty steep, I’m not sure it is entirely worth it based on that. But the matcha was citrusy and bright and so good! I got some coffee ground for drip at home, best home coffee I’ve had in a while. I’d go back to get more coffee beans and the occasional treat, but this won’t be a regular stop for me due to the price.

Had such a lovely cute cup of coffee. Service was okay- the lady attending us seemed like we were disturbing her phone time. But the other lady making our coffee beverages was nice and made our drinks delicious! Such a cute shop to stop by to sit down and catch up. They also sell some coffee, cute merch and such.
Rosa S — Google review
As someone who has worked in coffee for a while as well as helped co-found a coffee shop in Wisconsin, I was thoroughly impressed by Olympia's coffee and service. The staff super helpful, friendly, and even refunded our drinks when their computer to make iced pour overs went out. Coffee was incredible (had to take some for the road back home). Really recommend!

OCR consistently produces very high quality coffee. If you want prime seating options, I recommend arriving right at 7:00am when they open as the best spots get taken immediately. Food options include pastries and also some breakfast burritos. The pastries are pretty decent, and the breakfast burritos are a little bit disappointing due to their small size, but they do taste decent. I still buy them. I could only dream of a coffee shop with OCR-quality coffee AND also high-quality breakfast options with a decent portion size. Beware Coffee in Tacoma fits that profile, and is the only coffee shop I've found so far that I like more than OCR, but that's all the way in Tacoma. For the Olympia area, OCR is the best option.

Great atmosphere as soon as I entered. The baristas were really nice and welcoming, which I always look for. They had a simple but neat menu, and they understood how to make a good latte. They roast their own coffee and they have an excellent variety of notes to choose from in their roasts. Highly recommend if visiting Olympia.

Well 80 Brewhouse is a funky beer brewery located on top of one of Olympia's famous artesian wells. They use the well water for their in-house ales and lagers, including the recently launched Leopolds #1 Lager, paying homage to Olympia Brewing Co. Founder Leopold Schmidt. The place offers a variety of food options such as pizza, burgers, steaks with signature sauces and hand-cut fries.
looking for the perfect spot in olympia? well 80 brewhouse has you covered! their hand-tossed pizzas are a total crowd-pleaser, and the chicken and waffles are pure sweet-and-savory magic. craving comfort? the grilled cheese with tomato soup is as cozy as it gets, and their soft pretzels with ale cheese and mustard are an unbeatable snack. pair it all with one of their craft beers, and you’re set. with amazing food, great brews, and a laid-back vibe, well 80 is the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to.

Kimberly was awesome. The cooks were busy but took the time to take care of us. Jeremy, the Marseille Fries were worth it. So, thank you for that recommendation. Sneed thank you for always making sure everything was fine. You guys definitely made our night. Cant wait to come back

Ok place that could be so much better if a single person cared about providing an inviting environment. Server was absolute disinterested, I asked for more napkins and never got them from 2 people. Food was decent, but for the price it's just barely worth it. Meh all around, even taking into account I came on a Wednesday. Bingo caller was so disinterested as well, calling numbers followed ONLY by names. I imagine sports number references. But in the most bored way.

I have been to Well80 quite a few times to include soon after they had first opened. Each time the food has been great, service is friendly, and the environment is the perfect mix between bar and family restaurant. I Have always been happy walking out. Today’s experience took me by surprise. My wife my 1 & 1/2 year old son had just been out during art walk. My Son got fussy and we did our best to take him outside to not bother others until he calmed down. This cycle continued a few times up until Sue Knudson approached from the table next to us right after my wife had stepped out. She asked if my son would like some toys to play with as she could tell we were having a rough time with him. Her thoughtfulness along with the wonderful conversation and reassurance that she remembers just what it was like to have her sons the same age especially Chris (Well80 director of operations) so she and her group were not in anyway bothered by the loud rambunctiousness in fact she welcomed it. This experience to me truly has earned my business and unwavering recommendation to all others to visit. Outstanding experience. Thank you Sue, Chris, and everyone at Well80 you guys are the definition of what local business should be!

I ordered a burger to go and it was rare, almost raw. I called and the associate I spoke to stated that they make their burgers medium, however, as you can see in the picture, it is unsafe to eat. I called, and thankfully the associate has left me a gift card for next time I come in which I appreciate. I assume that this establishment is not checking the internal temperature of their meats. Having proper measures and procedures with food handling is important and after this experience I hope they implement that stronger. I hope I don’t get sick from eating the burger. As for customer service, I appreciate them giving me a meal for the next time I come in, but after that it will be my last. I have been a customer for 3 years and have spent probably over $500 at this establishment. I’m disappointed.

5 stars across the board. The food was fantastic, and even the side salads go above and beyond. I had the Oly style bacon burger and can't recommend it enough. Perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of mick, and a little bit messy, but not falling apart. Top ten on my list for sure. The beer is also excellent, and the service was awesome.

The food, beer, and service were all amazing. They were really busy and the service was still great. I had the chicken and waffles, my wife had the spicy sausage pizza, and we shared the Marseille style fries. All of it was on point. Also cant beat the 80 cent popcorn!

Oly Taproom is a spacious establishment that caters to beer enthusiasts, offering an extensive selection of craft brews and ciders. Although their vegetarian pizza options were mediocre and lacked distinction, the thin crust with minimal cheese seems to be their style. This venue primarily appeals to beer aficionados rather than those seeking cocktails. The ambiance exudes a relaxed vibe reminiscent of a basement adorned with mountain-themed beer signs.
Great vibe at this place and the service outstanding. Their recommendations for lunch were good and the beer on point. Inside and outside sitting areas with dog friendly areas as well. The pizza was excellent and the crust very nice and crispy. Fresh ingredients and big enough to share. I highly recommend this place.

Ate here on a whim with some friends while exploring downtown Olympia and I have to say their food was great! Ordered a 16 inch pepperoni pizza which was made on a thin crust; it had the perfect amount of everything and the crust had really good flavor to it. We also ordered some buffalo wings. I always mentally prepare myself for how spicy buffalo wings might be, but this was perfect in heat. It has just the right kick to it and it went well with their ranch sauce (possibly made in house). Definitely would love to return and try their other menu options along with some of their drinks!
Lexus T — Google review
I didn't order any food, so I can’t provide an evaluation, but it’s a typical taproom. Outdoor tables are densely arranged, and each table has a heater, which seems quite convenient. There’s also a decent variety of canned beers stocked in the fridge, offering a relatively wide range of options. As always, I went for a Double IPA, but the taste here wasn’t particularly impressive. This is just my personal preference, but I wouldn’t recommend it. I suggest trying a different type of beer instead.
Kai D — Google review
Taproom close to the docks serving pizza and wings with an array of drinks, plus a fair sized take out fridge. The venue has seating outside with heat lamps on the tables, perfect for the changing seasons, as well as an upstairs for additional seating. They also provide a selection of games for groups to play with. The pizza came out quick and had a nice chew, was reasonably priced for the size and worth a return when you want to hang out with some friends. Outdoor food is allowed, as long as it differs from the offered items on the menu.

Nice Brewery with good indoor and outdoor spaces by the marina. Pizza was good but nothing special. Wish the beers were colder. Love my beers ice cold, and that seems hard to find in the area. Service was great. Overall, a popular spot and worth visiting.
J K — Google review
Food: There are a variety of menu items, but most people seem to order pizza. It's a fairly average pizza, about 3 grades above the worst and likewise below the best. The styles include traditional and some more imaginative ones, including vegetarian options. We had a "large" and it easily fed 2 people. Beer: They have about 15 taps and a number of bottled options. None of it was especially noteworthy; if you like amber ales and IPAs you're covered, and if not, pickings are slim. Good place to try a new beer. Service: There isn't much interaction. You order at a counter and they bring food. Wait isn't long, unless things are real busy. Atmosphere: It's fairly sparse. There's covered outdoor seating by the sidewalk, and that area is dog-friendly, and the street isn't too busy and the people-watching is pretty good. Indoors it's just sort of clean and industrial. Indoors can be quite noisy when the place is busy. Value: One pizza, two beers, $53, so $26/person. That seems a bit steep for what you get, but not by much. Overall: Nothing special in the way of beer or food, but a nice place to hang out when the weather's good. I visit a couple times a year.

Nestled in Olympia, Washington, Far East is a charming Asian bistro that offers an extensive menu featuring favorites like pad Thai, pepper beef, and chow mein. This delightful eatery is run by a dedicated husband-and-wife team who pour their hearts into every aspect of the restaurant. The warm and welcoming atmosphere makes it easy to feel at home as you savor each bite of their delicious and fresh dishes. With exceptional service from the owner herself, every visit becomes a memorable experience filled with genuine care.
I really enjoyed this place. Food was delicious and fresh! Service was excellent and lady who served us food was the sweetest person! Atmosphere was very cozy! My favorite dish was yellow curry. Taste was perfect! I really liked peanut sauce in some dishes. If you are in Olimpia and like Asian food I recommend this place!

This is a very soothing place: the atmosphere is not particularly notable or ornate, but it nonetheless creates a sense of calm. The warmth that exudes from this place is matched by the exceptional service and the delicious food, which was enough to last me through three or four servings. I bought the Thai Noodle soup, which came with delicious chunks of chicken, and it nourished me for the rest of my trip in Olympia, as I took it home with me in a container and went to it every time I needed succor like it was a kind of magical potion. There is a wide variety of food here, and you'll probably find an option that interests you, and if you do, you will have a very pleasant place in which to enjoy the food and think about the world from the clean and serene environment of this restaurant.

One of my go-to places, about once a week, is this delightful spot that seems to be run by a dedicated husband and wife team(I think?). The lady of the house is incredibly sweet, putting her heart into every interaction. Her service isn't just good; it's exceptional, making every visit memorable. The food here is not only reasonably priced but also excellent, offering great value for every meal. I highly recommend Far East for anyone looking for quality food served with genuine care. It's a must-visit for anyone in the area!

Really excellent service. The food was not great in my opinion, noodles were very greasy but that may be what others like. The vegetables were fresh. Chicken was less quality than expected so I would recommend vegetable dishes instead. The kid in our group did like the orange chicken though.

This is my favorite restaurant in Olympia, and I eat here every week. I've been a customer for years, and their food has been consistently fresh and delicious. I love their orange chicken, curry, fried rice, and spring rolls. The husband and wife who own it do all of the cooking and serving themselves and are the friendliest people. I'm happy to support them and can't recommend them enough.
Morgan B — Google review
Very affordable and friendly location. The server was amazing! The prices are really good. The only problem I had was that the food was very bland. It was definitely fresh and hot, but it lacked seasoning. It seemed to me it was cooked in a sauce and not much else was added to it. I tried two different dishes, since there were two of us and it was the same sauce. My advice to the chef would be to use some salt, pepper, garlic powder, oyster sauce, fish sauce, anything! Don't be afraid of flavor. It's a cute place otherwise but I probably won't go back.
Moonbeam009 — Google review
Excellent food, would come here anytime. All the veggies were so fresh. All our dishes were amazing. We will be back as often as we can. Service very friendly. Love this little hole in the wall.
Travel G — Google review
This cute restaurant is slightly hidden when you first arrive as my boyfriend and I missed it when we first arrived by GPS. Luckily there was street parking in front of the restaurant and we were able to park just fine and enter the restaurant. We were greeted by our waitress who appears to be the owner and she was very polite and professional with us. She got us waters and menus and gave us the right amount of time to decide what we wanted. My boyfriend ordered the Singapore fried rice with chicken and I got the spicy garlic chicken with peanut sauce with a Thai iced tea. The inside of the restaurant is cozy and cute. The ceiling has a beautiful pattern of blue skies with little clouds and there is good lighting throughout the restaurant that gives a pretty casual vibe throughout the restaurant. The food came out after some time and it was absolutely phenomenal. My boyfriend loved his fried rice and he also took some of the peanut sauce as he said it was very flavorful. I really enjoyed the spicy garlic chicken and wished it was a bit spicier as I ordered hot but that's fine. The peanut sauce was delightful to put on my meal as well. We thought the Thai iced tea was very refreshing and perfect. I look forward to trying more of the dishes here as we were happy with the food, service, and prices!

Restaurant
MEXTIZA By: El Sarape is a delightful culinary destination that beautifully marries traditional Mexican flavors with modern flair. This local gem boasts an extensive menu filled with beloved classics like fajitas and quesadillas, alongside innovative dishes such as Tequila Shrimp and Molcajete. A highlight of the experience is their renowned street tacos, brimming with your choice of freshly grilled meats and topped off with homemade salsas.
I recently tried the Pork Carnitas at El Sarape restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were bold, savory, and perfectly seasoned. The portion was generous, and every bite was tender and flavorful. Friendly service and a warm atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommend! 🌮

El Sarape never disappoints! I ordered one of the chef’s specials, which had a delicious mix of brunch-style items — perfectly cooked, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The combination of savory and traditional Mexican breakfast elements made it stand out from anything else I’ve had in the area. The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere had that warm, authentic feel that makes you want to stay a little longer. Whether you’re in the mood for brunch, lunch, or dinner, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend El Sarape if you want truly delicious, authentic Mexican food made with care! 🌮✨

I’m shocked. Hate to appear like I’m over exaggerating here, but was recently visiting family in my hometown. A friend invited me out for dinner, I shared I’d like a good steak and he said we needed to go to the old El Sarape. I said, bro, I said STEAK… as in Rib Eye (last time I visited family I went to 1889 for the first time end of 2024). My buddy said the family who owned El Sarape was remodeling and rebranding. And that they even got a new chef. Needless to say, we met up there. The outside doesn’t look like it’s changed since the last time I was there in 2002 or 2003. BUT holy smokes, when the get the outside to match the inside, this place will be THE SPOT!! No joke. I am SHOCKED at how GREAT EVERYTHING WAS! No joke. I couldn’t help but to take a few pictures. So here’s the Bottom Line: (1) Food was GREAT! I had a WAY BETTER steak at Mextiza than when I went to 1889. (2) Drinks were on point! (3) The dining area was incredibly nice. (4) The bar was very stylish and COMFORTABLE (they had the big game on a couple of flat screens). (5) The prices were unreasonably reasonable! I would have paid 25% more, no kidding. (6) The people were all super hospitable and had attention to detail. Now, you might wonder why I’m sharing all of this. Ultimately it’s because I’m genuinely surprised. Best kept secret in my hometown of Oly! Second, I own and run a bunch of small businesses and when I get to see or experience a GREAT experience, especially of a small, family run business I have to share. I hope you enjoy Mextiza as much as we did. When I’m back, I’ll be leaving kids with grandparents and taking my bride on a date here.

Came to check out the new menu. Wow! The rib eye steak was amazing. Very tender, flavorful and affordable. $36 for a rib eye dinner. I don't recommend getting the butter addition to the steak. They pre slice the meat and it was drenched in butter which it didn't need. The traditional rib eye was delicious without the extra. Very large portions and the flan was to die for. I will come back for the steak, best I've found for quality at an affordable price here in Olympia.

I would've included a picture of the food but it was so good, we finished out plates before getting pictures. We had the Expresso Burrito, chilaquiles, and chimichanga and all 3 plates were amazing. The portions were definitely worth the price. Also, I'm pretty picky with my chile rojo and theirs was on point! Very delicioso and of course the restraunt itself was beautiful.
Samantha S — Google review
I love the new look! All the seating looks so pretty and I want to steal all the light fixtures. The space is way more elevated and is perfect for family dinner or date night. I had the chimichanga and it was huge, delicious sour cream and guac as a side with rice and beans. So yummy. Very very cozy! Congrats on the new look!!
Michaela ( — Google review
The atmosphere is very nice. Apparently they did a remodel 6 months ago and did a great job. The carne asada was incredible. We also got some fajitas and they were great as well. I believe they age their own stakes and have some really great options on prime cuts. The service was also very very good. They have a full bar which is separate from the restaurant. I don't drink but I was told by the people I was with that they pour pretty heavy on the alcohol so that's always a plus.
John M — Google review
A Hidden Gem for Steak Lovers & Mexican Food Fans! I came here and WOW--this place exceeded my expectations. If you're craving authentic Mexican flavor with a steakhouse twist, this spot delivers. I ordered the Ribeye served on a sizzling volcanic stone, and it was honestly one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of flavor. The roasted veggies on the side made the plate pop with color and taste. The chimichurri was fresh and added the perfect zing. As a side I ordered the Champiñones al Ajillo--garlicky mushrooms in a bubbling cast-iron skillet. They were rich, herby, and impossible to stop eating. And to share we had some queso fundido with chorizo that disappeared in seconds! Drinks? I had a creamy horchata and a chilled Modelo --simple, refreshing, and perfect with the food. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, the presentation was beautiful, and you can tell the kitchen puts a lot of care into every plate. Plus, everything came out hot and fresh. Pro tip: Come hungry. The portions are generous, and the flavors are BIG. Definitely adding this to my list of favorite spots. Can't wait to come back!

Takeout Restaurant
Rush In Dumplings is a charming eatery located in downtown Olympia, known for its delectable selection of Eastern European classics. The menu features an array of options including Pelmeni dumplings with various fillings and sauces, borscht, beet salad, and piroshkis.
Partner and I shared loaded potato and mushroom dumplings and sweet and spicy chicken dumplings (not 100% sure of name) - with were very yummy, nice change from usual lunch fare, Miso/Sriracha combo was really nice. Had rushin honey cake and pahlava for dessert. Honey cake was nice - not very honey tasting to me, but the cream filling was very tasty and it wasn't as overly sweet as I find most restaurant desserts. Pahlava was also nice - again, not as sweet (we were comparing it to baklava in our expectations), also a nice change. One guy seemed to be doing all the jobs, and was very kind and helpful. We'll go again when we're in the area.

We huddled in out of the cold, and ordered for the first time. Good sized portions and the dishes are certainly unique in shape. Very tasty all round-pizza piroshki tasted spot on and the crust was nice and crisp. The dumplings all had great flavor and the sour cream is perfect to complement the taste. Low key place to have a little nosh

We love this place! We've been here a few times and everything we get has always been good. The location is a little hole in the wall in downtown. The staff is always willing to give suggestions. You order the main dish and choose what dumplings go in it. We got the classic dumplings (potato cheese and pork and beef), loaded dumplings (potato cheese), beef soup (beef and pork), chicken soup (pork and beef), and honey cake. It's all so good! Definitely worth trying.
Amy T — Google review
Great place for a quick bite. It has a hole in the wall kind of feel to it, but nothing wrong with that. It’s an order and pay at the counter, then your food is dropped off. The water service could do with some improvement, maybe a dispenser or something like that?? My kids love the loaded, we’ve had it with chicken and beef dumplings. My husband got the buffalo and though it came in a delicious sauce the dish itself didn’t come with as many fixings as the rest. I had the Greek flavor and loved it because of the tomatoes, feta and olives. We also tried the beet salad and it’s delicious with a few dashes of salt and pepper.

Epic food! Loved the dumplings and Russian honey cake. Highly recommend to anyone. Really fun to experience a different type of cuisine. We want to go back to try everything on the menu.

I am absolutely addicted to these dumplings! You get a punch card when you go and I've already filled up one and a half lol. I have brought my boyfriend my sister and my son. It's $14 for a meal and the way I look at it is fast food cost that much these days anyway so why not have good food instead! The only reason I gave it three stars for atmosphere is because of how tiny it is inside and it's always too hot to sit upstairs at the tables.
Lissa S — Google review
Dec 2023 This is one of my sister's favorite places to eat, so she brought me here to try it out. And I have to say that I totally understand why she comes here a lot: the food is delicious and the service is excellent. We came in Saturday morning after they opened. The place is dimly lit, cozy, and clean. When you walk in, the counter and kitchen are in front with a small bar on the left by the window (4 bar seats). The dining tables are upstairs in a loft overlooking the front entrance. There are seven 2-6 people tables. Right at the top of the stairs are free water with plastic cups, some puzzle books, and crayons. On each table are napkins, salt, pepper, some kind of curry spice, and soy sauce. The staff deliver the food (and utensils) upstairs to you. You take care of your own plates though. By the stairs is a busing station: trash and recycling bins and a bin to put your used dishes and utensils. Also a single baby's high chair. There is a single unisex bathroom on the ground floor, all the way in the back, through what looks like a sort of storage room, and in the right back corner. The bathroom is a bit small, but clean and dry. The toilet is a bit low and the sink is an old fashioned stand type. The staff were friendly, polite, and efficient. I think there were only 3 or 4 staff when we came in, but they were quick with delivering our food. All the food we got was very delicious, and I totally understand why my sister loves this place. I highly recommend any of the dumplings (I think even the plain dumplings would be tasty). The dumplings have 5 different stuffings: beef, chicken, beef/pork, potato/cheese, and potato/mushroom. The non-plain dumplings also come in either 12 or 18 count. The plain dumplings are 14 count. My sister also highly recommends the Borscht, and says it's her favorite beet soup she's ever had. Overall, excellent food and great service. Would definitely come again.

I am so glad we came here!! The food is absolutely amazing! How good can simple dumplings be? So so good. Dani was working and was so lovely and helpful! She went above and beyond for us. We dined in and then got an order to-go. No problem at all and just all around good and cool vibes. If you are iffy at all on dessert, don’t be. You HAVE to try the Bird Milk Cake. Again, all the thanks to Dani, you made our experience so special!

Stone Creek Wood Fired Pizza is a fantastic pizzeria that offers delicious wood-fired pizzas. Their pepperoni and margherita options are both mouthwatering with the perfect texture and a slightly smoky flavor. The sauce is well-balanced, tangy, and not overly sweet. The staff members are extremely friendly, creating a cheerful atmosphere in the restaurant which is always clean. One of their standout pizzas is the Marilyn, topped with generous portions of their homemade sausage.
Great place. We ordered our pizza with a "dirty skirt." You can also request a lighter crust. It came out perfect. The sausage has a nice flavor. The red sauce tastes fresh. This might be my new favorite pizza place. Lots on the menu I'd like to explore. We split a pizza and still had leftovers.

Been meaning to try it out for awhile now, and so glad a visit finally happened. First and foremost, delicious food. There was plenty for all, and leftovers too. I've been very strict on my food choices for months, so to let go for a special night out felt good. I'll still keep on top of healthier eating, next time I would try one of the offered salads. The employees were all super nice, the inside was well maintained and the music selection was fabulous. Putting this on my places to explore again for sure!

If you’re looking for a place to grab the most fantastic brunch in town, you’ve found it! The chef puts together a seasonal menu that is definitely outside the box and very fresh! Lots of amazingly delicious gluten free options.

Took some family in town visiting for my first experience and we were all exceedingly happy with our meal. The blackened rockfish and parsnip fritters starred, but everything was delicious. Additionally, our service was prompt and very friendly - made us feel at home…like any proper Southern establishment would.

Reservations are highly recommended. We got away with walking in, but it was 5:15 PM. Even so, by the time we finished the place was down to two empty tables. We will come back and with reservations, but we will come early. I am guessing that it gets very loud later in the evening after most guests have a few drinks. 20% gratuity is added. I had the shrimp and grits, the were well executed, the greens a bit tough. My companion had the chickpea fritters, (OUTSTANDING), and the kale Caesar. Bathrooms were clean, service was on point. Street parking is free in Olympia on weekends and there is a lot across the street.

Prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly service! Loved the drinks! Food was both creative and comforting. Also appreciated local vendor support! Always a great meal at Chicory! Still great! Location, food, drinks, and service all stellar!

This is a lovely little place. Friendly service, delicious food! We started with the chicory kale salad and scallion bread with spicy cheese. We followed up with Shrimp and Grits and Vegetarian Risotto. That was like Christmas on a plate! There was a fun discovery in every single bite! Drinks were on point, also. We loved our visit and would definitely come back.

Everything I've had here is excellent and imaginative. The staff is friendly, the decor fits a fancy night out and is moody and stylish. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits, the mussels, and cocktails. Update: brunch here is also a win. I very much enjoyed the French omelette and the beignets came with a delicious lemon custard that's 💯 worth it. These beignets were also perfectly crispy. A little more pricey but if you value novelty it's worth it to try something new that won't disappoint. Their desserts may seem basic but are executed with a lot of skill, so don't let the titles fool you into thinking,"been there done that." The chocolate pudding, the whoopie pies - these are what desserts dream of becoming when they grow up, so you'll want to get them. Probably not a great venue for kids, but they treated ours incredibly well over a two hour dinner with some serious squirrels, all the way down to the mocktails and adjusting the menu to their tastes. It was a real testament to their hospitality. Vegan options were available and fun!

This is the best food EVER. Literally I have to take a pause from conversation to have a euphoric moment of joy not with the first or last bite but every single one. I think it says something about the quality of a meal if you are sad when you have your last bite but are also rushing to the first bite of the next dish. Basically what I’m saying is. Eat here. Always.

We are so fortunate to have the culinary marvel, Chicory in our area. My husband and I have fallen in gustatory love with this charming restaurant. Haven’t tried it yet? Get ready for a treat! The sheer talent of the chef is amazing! She can make cauliflower, beets, and squash taste like heaven! The meal we had there last week with our neighbors was the best meal of any restaurant we’ve visited in years! The staff is always friendly and attentive. We will be celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday there in a few weeks…so excited to see what’s on the ever changing menu!

Denny's is a beloved casual diner chain that embodies the essence of classic American comfort food, serving up all-day breakfast favorites and more. Open 24 hours, this local gem offers a diverse menu filled with traditional dishes ranging from hearty breakfasts to delightful desserts. While some items may not always be listed on the menu, like the popular Super Slam, don’t hesitate to ask your server about any hidden gems they might still have available.
The employees are friendly and pleasantly greet us. Janet brought our favorite beverages before we ordered. Megan greeted us, smiled and seated us. Our order was taken quickly. We like the employees, the restaurant is well taken care of and the restroom is nice. We like the smoothies, they are not on the recommended menu list below. Of course, we will return! A great team works here, thank you!

Great Denny‘s. Went there during our road-trip last fall. Service was excellent and food was great. Love Denny’s and would come again here.

Ordered delivery and it was probably the worse food ive ever received on a delivery order from anywhere. Hashbrowns nearly raw, chicken fried steaks had almost no gravy.
Zachary M — Google review
It used to be a favorite. However the past 3 takeout orders have been more than disappointing. Soggy, site says it offers curbside service but it does not so I sat in curbside spot for several minutes past the estimated time of delivery as the status window kept flashing finishing order, not finished order or completed order. To indicate, that order was ready to go out. Curbside means to deliver to designated parking. I sent daughter inside and she was told that they don't deliver curbside but my order was kept under heat lamp to stay warm. My phone number was included when I placed the order. It would have been appropriate to call to tell me that they would not deliver curbside. Instead of just putting under heat lamp to wait for me to figure out that it wasn't curbside as advertised. It was soggy, unappetizing meal . Again! I don't know if it is only take out orders that suck but this one and past door dash orders are terrible. Not impressed. FYI, if ordering omelet do not ask for any alterations. You will be punished by cook who will maliciously fill omelet with onions. This has happened twice so certainly no accident. When ordering online they don't know who they are cooking for so it's not a personal attack and unfortunately the diner is at the mercy of the cooks attitude. My complaints to Denny's, they direct me to door dash. It's not door dashes responsibility to refund what Denny's sent..too bad late night food this is what is available. Burger Den? Is Denny's ghost restaurant and some burrito place is also cooked at Denny's. Just hope that the cook is in good mood or you are screwed .

Vic's Pizzeria Wildwood offers an outstanding pizza experience. The establishment is superb, and the staff members are extraordinary. They serve a split pie with one side for vegetarians and the other for meat lovers, resulting in utmost satisfaction. Additionally, they offer delectable cookie dough ice cream and a variety of on tap brews. The place attracts a large crowd starting from 5:00 onwards.
Found this place while traveling on my way to Westport and it was SO WORTH IT! For 3 people we ordered the 18" Sherman which was huge and we had leftovers since the slices were very large. The pizza was cheesy, greasy, durable thin crust, bursting with flavor and big chunks of garlic, and hit the spot. I tried a drink on tap which was also good, sorry I don't remember which, but the staff gave a good recommendation based on my preferences. Somehow I had room in my belly and topped off my meal with some pistachio gelato. I would definitely go out of my way to eat here again. The Wildwood location had comfortable outdoor and indoor seating with self-serve water and twinkle lights.

He is friendly, welcoming and just great overall! The drink was almost too fancy. I couldn’t believe the professionalism the way he was dressed to how he spoke to customers. It was such a phenomenal drink! Thank you again.

Great place to eat, such friendly staff and the pizza was so tasty, with great vegan pizza. Also tasty ice cream at the end I got the blackberry cheesecake that was so yummy.

First time here and the girl was super helpful in explaining the different slices available. We each had our own slices and were all happy with our choice. The slices get made hot in the pizza oven right behind the counter and only took a minute to heat. There were at least five choices available right then and covered everything you would expect to have ready to eat quickly. The beer selection was a nice variety and the local Black Raven IPA I had was cold and flavorful. We sat outside under an umbrella and it was easy to have a conversation without having to talk loudly. We bussed our own items but several others did not and there is a server that does watch over the area and kept the tables clean. Parking was easy for us, but I could see how during a busy time it might get tight.

Decent place to grab a slice or a pie with reasonable prices. Really good rootbeer on tap. They have ample outdoor seating, which has plenty of shade especially around dinner time. The gluten free crust was decent but we've had better ones elsewhere. It had good flavor but the texture cracker thin. They unfortunately made a mistake on one of our pizzas, so we had to wait an additional 30 minutes (after waiting 30 min. already) for them to make a new one.

We hired Vic’s Pizza to cater our wedding, and it was one of the highlights of the night! Joe, the owner, was on-site making pizzas fresh in his portable oven for our guests, which created such a fun and unique experience. The pizzas were absolutely delicious, our guests are still raving about them. Amazing food and such a memorable touch for our wedding considering my husband and I grew up eating Vics pizza!

The pizza was great and the beer was cold. They played Fugazi, The Cure, and David Bowie, and the food took like 15 minutes to come out. This has been the highlight of my trip to Olympia so far.

They have the best sauce in Olympia. In my opinion. Dough is also pretty decent. Wish there was a few more toppings though a pepperoni pizza should have pepperoni and every bite in my opinion. Sadly, like many restaurants in Olympia, they are allowing dogs in with no care that there might be people who don't want to eat in a restaurant with a animal.

Vics Pizzeria is a traditional pizza place with a contemporary twist that offers innovative pies and an ever-changing selection of beers. Customers can find a variety of options in the display case, although the meat choices are limited to plain pepperoni. The sauce could use more flavor as it comes across as slightly bland, while the veggies tend to be watery and lacking in taste.
The pizza was pretty solid! Typical greasy thin crust pizza. Had a good mix of crispy and chewy crust. It was pretty inexpensive - my friend and I got 2 slices each plus 2 beers and it was about $27 before tip. The environment/atmosphere definitely needs love. Tables and chairs are pretty worn. I had to wipe down the table when we got to it. But for a tasty, quick, cheap lunch in a casual setting, I'd recommend!

I came in fully intending to order with my child and am 9 months pregnant. I asked for the bathroom code, the girl said I couldn't have it unless I ordered, I explained I'm going to and 9 months pregnant and going to have an accident so she apprehensively gave me the code and no sooner than .282 seconds after walking out the restroom toward my boyfriend, waiting for me, by where you order she vertly rudely and loudly "reminded" me bathrooms are for 'paying customers'. before I even had the chance. first off, you have to allow restrooms for emergency or medical conditions, by literal law in our state, second off... how rude and just weird to act like I am robbing them because I had to pee being 9 months pregnant. not one of the other staff blinked an eye when this girl acted that way to me. I ended up ordering a soda because she straight up acted like I was committing a crime and went to little Caesars who by the way is the ONLY public restroom on the entire STREET over here if you need one.

This was the worst gluten free pizza crust I've ever had. It was hard and tasteless. (The box would have been better.) Ate 3 little slices and gave up. But I gave them points because the sauce was quite good and my dining partners liked their regular-crust pizzas. Guess you can't believe all the rave GF reviews you read. Don't expect a restaurant atmosphere. It's more of a neighborhood take-out place where they have a few tables.
Carol C — Google review
I've gone to Vic's Pizza on the West Side plenty of times for lunch, but this last visit was ridiculous. I ordered two slices and a soda. The gal at the counter said the slices had "just come out and were hot." Nope. I sat down, took a bite, and they were cold. I brought them back and asked to have them warmed up. She said "ok" and took them toward the oven. A minute later, another worker comes over to my table and tells me they can't reheat them because of "health codes" -- but according to her, I could buy more slices at a discount. Are you kidding me? You serve me cold pizza, refuse to fix it, and then try to sell me more? That's beyond insulting. If you mess up, own it and make it right. Don't push your mistake back on the customer. Cold pizza and worse customer service. Do better, Vic's.

Sandwich shop
Fast food restaurant
Meconi's Italian Subs is a sandwich shop that offers both hot and cold subs on regular or gluten-free bread, along with soups and salads. The shop provides take-out service only due to current regulations in Washington. They have a straightforward menu and use fresh ingredients in their subs. Customers can park behind the restaurant, although it may be limited during busy hours. The capicola sub is tasty and generous in portion size.
Italian sub cosmo style with vinegar. Absolutely amazing sub. My only thing is that it could've used more mayo, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and just a little more cheese. If they had done that, it would have been the best sandwich ever had in my entire life. The bread was perfect. The meat amount and quantity were perfect. The amount of vegetables and quality was perfect. I would bring my family here for generations.
Robert M — Google review
Local sandwich shop chain with quick service. One of the best places to get a sub in the city, the chain has a few locations scattered throughout that we’ve been to. The ingredients are always fresh and reasonably priced, coming in half or whole sizes with a handful of specialty options as well. The bread is baked fresh locally, and have a nice fluffy doughy texture that holds up well to their fixings. This location, just outside the main downtown corridor, is accessible but has limited parking.

Called in and place the order they told me it would take 15 minutes. I got there in 15 minutes. They told me they hadn’t started it. I waited another half hour people is coming in and out. I asked if there was a problem and it was cooked and setting waiting. Nobody told me it was done. They were all standing around talking very disappointing. Took me 45 minutes to get out of your store.
Greg S — Google review
Meconi's is such a a unique sandwich chain, even though I feel like I can get my sandwich better made at subway. The hook up is incredible here, they always have an amazing selection, and their bread is some of the best in the region. They also have the best sliced meats, I just always forget to sub pepperoni. I never knew how many deli cuts they had out their. I know Danny devito would rep Jimmy John's, but I bet money he would rep meconi's too. So I just want to say I rep meconi's. This was the Macklemore of sandwich places when I was growing up, so I hope they continue to reign supreme as a whole tier above most other sandwich chains. But a sandwich is the witch of meals as they always have the magic to fill you up. Unless it's that phony cereal sandwich from breakfast club. If I had to vote, I'd rank this place as the best. But maybe it's because you can get wine at some of their locations even though I'm only in it for the meats and provolone.
Blue L — Google review
The facility is clean and efficient with rapid service. I ordered a salami sandwich. It was exceedingly bland and tasteless. I picked a piece of salami and ate it separately and would not have been able to tell it was salami by its taste since it essentially had no flavor. The same was true for the cheese and bread. The ingredients were fresh. The price was reasonable. The clam chowder was not particularly memorable being somewhat bland also.
John C — Google review
Easily the best sub shop in Olympia, although there really isn't much competition, if any. Subway is a contender, for example. Meconi's from what I understand, was founded by transplants who missed big city food. It shows. These are the subs I would take you to if you wanted a sub and were in town from any major city. It's a sub shop, not a sandwich shop or cafe. There is a difference. Now, I have had much, much better subs, I am something of an aficionado of good subs. Bread must be good, and ingredients must taste good. These guys do that. It's no Bronx Salumeria or Katz' famous deli, but for Olympia it's gold. (maybe bronze elsewhere.)
Alfred M — Google review
I stopped in for take-out lunch today and was very pleased with both the service and quality! They have a simple menu and clearly use fresh ingredients in their subs. Per current Washington regulations, dine-in is not allowed at this time. There is parking behind the restaurant which may be tight during busy hours, but I had no issues around 2pm. My while capicola sub ($12) was delicious and well more than I could eat in one sitting! Looking forward to trying other menu items next time. - Olympic Otter

Only one person in front of me picking up her to go order. Placed my order and got my drink. Walked up to 2 different tables that were dirty. While I was looking for a place to eat my sandwich came out of the kitchen. I was shocked, so I took the first available table that was not dirty. Was able to look out the window and see a Subway Sandwich location across the street. Really fresh bread and the meat was fresh and not pressed meat. Only gave a 4 star due to the dirty tables. Otherwisewas great sandwich!

Heard about this place by word of mouth. Hard to miss this place, the windows were sparkling clean and signage was bright and colorful. Walked in to a spotlessly clean business and instantly greeted by a very nice lady who took my order. Ordered a whole Philly cheesesteak. Was cooked fresh and was hot!!! Whole sandwich was packaged as two nice sized sandwiches…. Full after the first one! The bread melts in your mouth and it was very tasty. Will definitely come back and try something else from their huge assortment! If I could give you 10 stars I would-

This chain is a local treasure, been coming here for years. I would not recommend the Philly cheesesteak, honestly I've had better. But their subs are delicious! Their bread is always fresh baked, perfectly spongy and soft with a good flavor and their meats and cheeses are really good too! My go-to favorite is the roast beef with cheddar and provolone. By the way, their chili and cookies are also fresh and delicious. And their prices are better than other sandwich chains.

Meconi’s has been my go-to spot for over 20 years—and even after moving to Colorado, it’s still the first place I stop when I visit Washington. The food is consistently amazing, every single time. There’s something comforting about knowing the quality and flavor never change, no matter how long it’s been. Whether it’s the sandwiches, the fresh ingredients, or the unbeatable bread, Meconi’s always delivers. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want from a local favorite. Even after all these years and living out of state, it remains the best sandwich shop I’ve ever been to. I’m so glad they’ve added more locations.
Michelle — Google review
Pretty run of the mill subs, served on very soft chewy white bread with unremarkable ingredients. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a strip mall sub shop, which is to say "utilitarian." The service was quick, and a half sub is $7.50, so if you need food that is edible and prompt, you could do worse - but you could probably do better.
Sean F — Google review
Really disappointing one sandwich was super dry the other was soggy both were hot sandwiches and they were lukewarm at best. Barely any veggies on either of the sandwiches and we instantly got stomach aches before we could even finish them. Also the chili is literally just marinara with some onions and cheese and you have to pay extra for the onions and cheese too. If I could give a 0 star I would. The other customers were also extremely rude and kept interrupting us while ordering.
Dillon — Google review
I do like the sandwiches, but unfortunately I was given the wrong sandwich. Meconi's wouldn't refund the money and promised to provide me a credit under my phone number. It's just not acceptable to keep my money and not provide what I ordered. A promise credit isn't the same and it's a shady business practice. I don't want a credit for a free sandwich, I want my money back, please. Lesson learned: open and inspect my sandwiches before I leave the store, I guess.

Still the best burger at a good price! Made with fresh ingredients and a large fries is overloaded with real fresh potatos from a local grower and cooked in healthy peanut oil.

It was okay. The beef itself was definitely fresh and so was the bacon. It seems to be standard that the burgers come with 2 patties, but I'm not sure. The fries were also fresh and well seasoned. They are soft and slightly crisp. They were okay, but not life-changing like everyone says they are. You definitely will be loaded up with fries! Expect to receive more than you can handle and order yourself a small serving. As for the negatives, the mushrooms seemed to be canned; they were rubbery and soggy. They caused the bread to become very wet and revert to a dough-like consistency. Such a shame. The bell pepper was raw, which surprised me because the onions were sauteed. Why not cook them together? Disappointing for sure. Overall, it's not as good as the hype. Especially because the price is VERY HIGH. We did not order drinks and we both paid $21+ for the burger and fries. I would not come back just because I can find cheaper options for healthier, tastier food elsewhere. I'd never been to a 5 Guys before, and it's just meh tbh.

Satisfied my burger craving. I was told all toppings are free and can be customized. Burger price is reasonable but the fries start at 4.99. Dont think its worth it so did not order. It was posted the potatoes were grown in Idaho. They still have the free peanuts to munch on while you wait. Wait time good. Nice friendly cashier. Greeted me right away when i walked in the door and patiently waited helped decide what to order. Too heavy for me to eat a quarter pounder burger so she suggested i order the small/single patty, which i did. Overall great experience, friendly well groomed staff, fast service, facility/ store looks clean and organized. I dont know if they allow tjis but i wish they ask me how i want my burger cause i want it a bit well done and my burger was a little bit pinkish on the inside.

I get the special add cheese it’s $15 and cooked to perfection. The burger isn’t soaked with oil the food is always in perfect shape. Literally as I eat the burger is doesn’t fall all over the place and make a mess. The workers remember every detail of my order when I pull up to the window. Last week I forgot to say no pickle she reminded me. I am thankful for their customer service here they do such an amazing job. The fries omg the fries they are the fry gods. They know the temps and times and everything in between to perfection. Their fry sauce is thick and delicious I love it. Again very thankful for the service I’ve had from this new ownership.

Onion rings were good, foot long hotdog was burnt to a crisp. I might go back and try again in the future, but right now my stomach isn't feeling great. I almost think I got a leftover dog that they deep fried to reheat it.

The two burgers you see here cost $23 with tax, no fries or drinks came with that price. Definitely over priced for what you get, look how thin the meat patties are. Although the burgers were fresh and tasted good, didn’t make up for the over all value.

Bought a burger fries and a shake 27.90 total I was in the drive thru noticed that I had a major flat tire turned into the parking lot and called for help while I was waiting they tied plastic off around the lot so I couldn’t get out , I went up and said I’m sorry but I have a flat tire and I’m having help come … they just yelled at me and said to get off their property! The absolute rudest people I have ever encountered. I said I spent that much money on one meal and you won’t let me sit here until I get help??? NEVER EVER GO TO THIS AWFUL PLACE! Why not be helpful

First of, the wait time wasn’t all the bad for what we got. My fiancé ordered the BLT and I got the Bacon Cheesburger with an order of large fries to share. The special “goo” sauce is almost like a honey mustardish sauce. But nothing like honey mustard. The fries were extra crispy and crunchy, my burger was perfectly crafted, as well as the BLT. I watched the cook take the time to lay each single piece of bacon down on both sandwiches and just the care they take in the food makes me feel great. With that being said, I wish they used locally grown tomatoes!

Burger was good but felt just like McDonald's Burger but for twice the price. Probably won't go back mainly because the price and quality doesn't match. I rather spend the same amount and get a better quality Burger at Westside Tavern nearby instead.

Ordered small salted caramel shake, BBQ burger, and butterscotch malt. Took a picture of the menu with updated prices for 2021, and the 'small' size shake next to a large mcdonald's soda cup for size reference. The shake was bursting with flavor, they didn't skip out a bit on loading it up, it was delicious. The butterscotch malt needed to be stirred a little and wasn't as powerful as expected. The BBQ burger also burst with flavor and I'd highly recommend. The only downside is the price, $8.80 for a single burger with a seemingly regular bun, vegetables, and sauces. $5 per shake is expensive as well but a lot closer to it's actual value than the burger. That is why it loses a star, the value isn't there for the price, although if we ignore the price it's definitely 5 stars.

I waited in line to spend $68 on our family of four today. There were 10 French fries in the $11 mini corn dog meal I got for my daughter. The patties on burgs are the thinnest (actually a friend had a Wendys burger at the same time so we compared). The patties aren't even a 10 to 1! The price gouging is outrageous here. We own a restaurant in town... We know the costs of food and labor. I went here OVER the fast food chain our friends wanted and then met at the park to let our kids play. Never again! The name Eagans gets people to come here.... The prices and lack luster quality mean we won't be back. Oh, I forgot to add that my son wanted a hot dog. If it's going to be a hot dog with goop, sliced and then on a burger bun, maybe it should be called a hot dog burger? So to recap: mini corn dog kid meal (only includes the mini dogs and fries), big tom, deluxe cheeseburger, "hot dog", corn dog, three sides of goop, a side of tots and four milkshakes = $68!!! Ridiculous.

Went there at 1040 tonight and they didn't have much in the bowls. The server echo told us we could order anything we wanted but there would be a wait if there wasn't any or enough available, I ordered a plate with original orange chicken and chow mein (I don't ever order spicy chicken since I got surgery for my gall bladder) we paid and waited like 5 mins which was fine. Drive home sit down and start to eat and realized I was given a whole double serving of spicy orange chicken aswell as my wife being given a small side of spicy orange chicken. Idk if it was a simple mistake or if it was intentional due to us coming in 20 mins before close but now we're out money and have to go get different food because we don't eat spicy food.

Food was good, service was great until we met “Echo”. She went to ring us up and got upset that we ordered additional sides. I understand the night after a holiday is very busy. But when we asked her for the bathroom code she had a serious attitude. Everyone else we encountered was great, she was obviously having a bad day and took it out on the patient customer. Do better please.

Since last week, these people began to serve really few from each item. Furthermore, no one uses culinary gloves for serving the food and uses their hands to touch other parts of their body when they supposed to have them appropriately clean. So nasty this place.

Arrived at approximately 5:30, there were five people in front of me. I placed my order at 5:39, one plate with two entrees, sesame chicken and broccoli beef with fried rice, and one family dinner with the steak dish, chicken and mushroom, and chicken and green bean, both sides were the chow mein. I was told at the time I ordered the sesame chicken would be approximately 3 minutes. They then moved me down the line and I paid $54 approximately. During the time I was waiting there was a proximately 20 people that had come in behind me and they were being moved through the line with their orders fulfilled. At 10 minutes I checked to see why my order wasn't ready and I was told that we were still waiting on the chicken and mushroom and the chicken and green bean. While I was waiting I observed all those people that came in after me being served those dishes. I waited 25 minutes for my order. I checked it before I left the store and noted that the steak which cost me an additional $3.75 was not even full it was about an inch and a half below the top, the plate with two entrees and fried rice with also very skimpy and the fried rice as you can see in the picture was not even two full Scoops it was maybe a scoop and a half. At the point that I waited that long, and paid additional for the steak entree it seems they could have at least filled up the box and possibly offered me an additional dish since it took so long. As this was my first time using this location I am extremely disappointed, and doubt that I will go back again. I will be calling the 1-800 number as well to take the survey and let them know how disappointing and expensive this meal turned out to be. As you can see by my other reviews I am very fair and only give a poor review if I feel one is deserved.

If you find yourself in the area, make sure to stop by Herfy’s Burgers for a delightful culinary experience! After hearing rave reviews from fellow diners, I finally had the chance to indulge in their mouthwatering offerings. The cheeseburgers and bacon cheeseburgers are standout choices, perfectly grilled and bursting with flavor that transports you straight to a summer BBQ. The sides are equally impressive; I savored the curly fries and fried zucchini, both of which complemented my meal beautifully.
This photo does not do my burger justice. Delicious California burger meal. Fries were excellent and the meal came with a soda. Reasonably priced. (I watched many people come in and order their milkshakes - they must be good!) We had been shopping nearby and saw the restaurant, and decided to try it. Very pleased that we did. The staff were so helpful, pleasant and efficient (the place is clean and tidy). Thank you. We will be back. Support your local small businesses!❤️

Decided to check out this spot after a day at the Capital, and I could not have had a better experience! I was hungry and not expecting much, but the food and service at Herfy's really blew me away. My friend and I ordered the California burger, mushroom burger, french fries, sweet potato fries, and the popcorn chicken (we were hungry LOL). I thought the california burger was delicious - the patty was thick, cooked well, and very juicy! I could tell they use fresh meat. I also loved how generous they were with the vegetables, pickles, and avocado 🥑 My friend said the mushroom burger was good as well, though she "complained" saying it was "too big". I think that just means we got our bang for our buck - we both only ate half of burgers and half the fries. Huge portions! The french fries and sweet potato fries were also really good. They were super warm and crispy. The sweet potato fries especially were my favorite. I don't think either were salted, which I personally prefer. They were thicker fries, but not dry and were coated in just the right amount of batter. We arrived a little bit after lunch and there were a few parties who ordered ahead of us. Despite that, all the food came out in only about 10-15 minutes. And while busy, the servers and girl at the front counter was super friendly. When the orders slowed down, the owner came out from the back to ask how I was enjoying my food. She was really sweet! The interior was simple and clean. I can see this place getting busy during lunch and dinner rush, but there was plenty of table and counter spaces at 3 pm on a Monday. It's located in a complex with plenty of free parking, which is always a plus! This is a great happy medium between total fast food chains like McDonals and more expensive burger places - great quality for a fair price. I wish I lived closer to Olympia so I could try all their other burgers. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in the area. 😋

Been meaning to come here for some time now and finally had an opportunity. The burgers and sides were amazing! We got there at the beginning of a rush and I could hear many other patrons talking about how great the burgers and fries are. Our order: Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger, Curly Fries, Fried Zucchini So as mentioned, it was a rush and so we did wait about 20 mins for our food, but it was well worth any amount of waiting. The burgers tasted like a was at a grill master's home BBQ on a warm summer day. Perfectly cooked and topped. The fries and zucchini were both fresh and crisp. The real kicker is that they somehow were not overly greasy and we left feeling well and not heavy. Will have to return and try other items in the future! The Bulgogi options look fun!

Good Burgers, pretty much what you would imagine if you made them yourself at home. The Jalapeno Burger has some good kick to it. The mozzarella sticks were good too but I wish they were a little warmer, but we did order them for pickup so it could be that. Can't say anything about the service or atmosphere for the same reason.

They added some wings to their menu and they are AMAZING. They are lightly coated and fried, crispy and juicy. They are great plain or paired with any of their sauces. Ya like Five Guys, but want to expand your horizons, or try something local? I tell you, tried and true, the only thing the Five guys *might* do better is milkshakes, simply because Five Guys puts bacon in there. However, i forgot to ask, so they honestly could. The burgers are fantastic, the shakes were great. You could *actually* taste the beef flavor in the bulgogi. Fries were exceptional, and by god the service was great. No hassle, confusion, very chill vibe and genuinely looked and sounded happy to be there, and loved to talk about their product. For those people that are allergic to Peanuts and couldn't ever go into Five Guys because of it, once again, look no further. I will always warn caution, and to ask for yourself! With that i mind, i inquired, and was told that the only peanut product they use is Peanut Butter for shakes, and that specifically stays in its own designated area. No peanut or tree nut products see daily use in the kitchen, including fryer oil. Still very unsure on cross contamination outside thr store, so again, ask for yourself! These people deserve all of their business and high reviews.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is a fast-food chain that specializes in Mexican cuisine. They offer a variety of options such as build-your-own burritos, tacos, and bowls. One customer mentioned that they love Chipotle, while their husband isn't the biggest fan but still enjoys it for their sake. They recently decided to have lunch there before going to the movies at the mall.
I love chipotle, my husband is not the biggest fan of Mexican food, but he endures it for me because he knows I do like it. We decided to go there for lunch before we went to the movie inside the mall. I always get a bowl with rice, black beans, chicken corn salsa And shredded cheese. That’s my go to the best thing they have hands-down and I’ll die on that hill! He decided to go with a burrito he said “it was wonderful and we can totally come back here “my heart is overjoyed that my husband now loves chipotle like I do.

This place used to be better. I ordered and when I finally got it I checked and it wasn't even full. For being this expensive the food didn't even taste that good. I'm not saying they've always been like this but it's gotten worse. Also other times I've gone in and they've given me less if I'm wearing sweats and a sweatshirt but if I'm wearing nicer clothes they give me more. It's ridiculous and I probably won't order or eat here again.

I used to love Chipotle, due to how generous they are with their food portion! NOW, I pay $20 for crumbs, especially when asked, and pay $3.99 for an extra portion. It’s ridiculous that I'm paying $ 20 for half a rice bowl! I will not be doing business with Chipotle ever again unless they change their policies. There are plenty of other Mexican food trucks or other restaurants.

Are at the chipotle at Capital Mall, took my wife and she got a bowl and a burrito. My wife chose steak for her bowl and it read tender and amazing! Bet fresh ingredients here as I think with all Chipotles. I got the Barbacoa and this combined with the tomatillo chili salsa, it was a nice spicy combination, great heat on the burrito. The Queso Blanco costs a little more but will worth it. Also got chips and guacamole, which was fresh and chips water tasty. We went to throw away the few left, and I was like nooo... I'm eating those. Staff here was friendly. I only marked it down for atmosphere because it's not really a good place to eat in, it was more in utensils, and not a room of room for seating but I wouldn't make it down overall for that - still 5-star experience!!

Okay I'm not sure who runs this location but nasty. There was plenty of people to clean up but instead they were rude. I know it was busy and they did a good job moving the people. The person making our bowel was rude and was slapping the ingredients in the bowl. I'm going to try Chipotle again but not at that dirty/rude location.

Taco Time NW, a well-established Mexican fast-food chain, offers a variety of tacos, crispy burritos, and kids' meals in a modest setting. Currently undergoing construction, only the drive-through is open for business. Despite this inconvenience, customers can still enjoy the delightful flavors they remember. For those who don't have access to Taco Time in their area, it's considered a special treat.
We received great service here today. Nice warm greeting. Placed order, order was delivered to our table, order was correct. Food was delicious. Love their hot sauce, it actually has some heat to it. The dining area was clean, several open tables available. Great experience!

One of the worst experiences I've had at this Taco Time. I told them no cilantro, paid for hot sauce LOADED with cilantro. The chicken had large pieces of cartilage (3 of them). The salad was bland. The water at the bottom was not palatable. All in all a very disappointing experience. No one addressed me for a full 3 minutes. When a young man finally told me someone would be right with me, he didn't even look at me. I'll find a different one to go to.

This is a great taco time. Only thing that would make it better is if they had the Chicken Caesar Soft Taco on the menu all the time, it's way too good to be "seasonal". There is no off-season for this kind of flavor and value. Please.

The food is good but I was here on a Thursday night and the wait was ridiculous! I don’t know if they were short staffed or what but I was really surprised to have to wait so long. I sat down to wait for food and they called number 14. My number was 37. The drive thru was crazy too. I felt really bad for the workers who were working their tails off. Definitely need more workers or make sure they show up!

I had an hour between appts on Lily road, so I ran to this taco time a few blocks away. It took over 30 minutes to get 2 taco burgers. The drive through seemed to be more important than the inside patrons. I had declined the drive up. Over 8 cars passed through(watching) before my order came up. Seemed also that even during this, a few employees had "chores" that had nothing to do with putting orders out. I.e. on a break? Doing something in a big skillet? Very, very slow.

I was presently surprised with taco time. It was my first time at this restaurant and I will definitely go back. The only reason I didn't give them five stars was the wait in the drive through. ✨️ the prices were also fair.

Other locations are nice but this is a weak example. No lobby service only drive-thru. For what? The virus still? Too cheap to hire enough employees? although four were inside when I was turned down for service. Go figure. They might have good food but I'll never know as I'll never patronize this location again. and I'll advise others against doing so with businesses that can't keep their doors open during business hours.

McDonald's, the iconic fast-food chain that has stood the test of time, is a go-to spot for those craving burgers and fries. During my recent visit, I decided to order a fancy milkshake through their app for my son. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the shake machine was out of order. The staff took down my name to retrieve it later since they couldn't process refunds for mobile orders. However, upon returning, there was no record of my name!
Fantastic McDonald's. Always a safe spot, everything is clean. The seating is in the new minimalist style, which I'm not the biggest fan of. However, the food I've requested has never been wrong or poor quality. Staff are reasonably timely, about a 5 to 10 minute wait. As good as it gets, these days.

Bought at drive through a McCrispy sandwich + glass water. 5.30+ 0. 25 , bill over 6.00 Got home 15 min later. No sauce in bag. No sauce ordered. A pretty stark tasteless sandwich. My opinion was they should have simply ask if I needed a honey sauce or some simple sauce to make it more appealing.

I ordered the fancy milkshake on the app for my son, when we got there the machine was broken, so they “wrote down my name” for us to come get our shake later as they can’t refund mobile app orders. I knew that felt sketchy lol Fast forward I make it back in, they have no record of my name being written down (of course). But the manager was great and took care of me. No fuss and I really appreciated him for that. That was 8/27/25 around 6 p.m. My 5 star is based on the excellent customer service.

I have never experienced such unprofessional service at a McDonald’s. From the moment we pulled up to the drive thru, it was a mess. The employee taking the order didn’t listen to a word I said. I asked for a kids cheeseburger Happy Meal he didn’t even bother to ask what drink came with it. I added a large Coke and two large fries, but instead of confirming the order or giving me the total, he just rushed me through with, is that all? When we pulled up to the window, there were four very young employees working, all of whom looked high and completely uninterested in doing their jobs. Not only were items missing my niece’s chocolate milk, the large Coke, and one of the fries, but when I mentioned the mistake, one of the dudes in the back decided to talk shit to another employee thinking I couldn’t hear. This location clearly has no management, no training, and no accountability. A first job is supposed to teach work ethic and responsibility not how to stand around stoned, ignoring customers. If this is how they treat paying customers, I can only imagine how the rest of the place is run behind the scenes. Absolutely unacceptable.

I like this McDonald's on Harrison because it's convient and normally not too busy in the morning....that being said..I ordered a big breakfast, asked for butter, jam, salt and pepper, the lady said you don't need to ask for these items, we always give them to you, WHAT, I said , no they don't and that's why I asked for them. She was a little nicer when she took my money.. Then...second window, the guy said everything in the bag...was ready to leave, looked in the bag...NO salt and pepper, NO jam, and forgot the hash brown...!!!! I don't get it...!!!! Pay attention people...or have better training...!!!

McDonald's is always a reliable option when you're in a hurry. The drive-thru was impressively fast during my last visit, which I definitely appreciated. I also like using the McDonald's app — it makes things a lot more affordable with deals and rewards that actually help cut down the cost. That said, the food quality can be hit or miss. My fries weren’t as hot or fresh as I’d like, and the burger seemed like it had been sitting a little too long. It’s convenient and cheap, but consistency is where it falls short. Still, not a bad option when you're on the go and want to save a few bucks.

After a long day at work, I decided to swing by for a late-night snack and was greeted by the friendliest staff member named Angela. Her warm demeanor made my evening brighter as she engaged in cheerful conversation while ensuring my order was accurate and complete. The food arrived quickly and piping hot—definitely exceeding my expectations!
I visited after a long drive home from work, I went through the drive up and was greeted by the friendliest person I think I've ever encountered at a fast food restaurant. Angela was amazing and engaged in great small talk, she put a smile on my face and honestly made my evening after an especially long work day. My food came out fast and hot. Angela even made a point to inform me how long my jalapeño poppers were going to take! Great experience after not visiting in a few months, will be back again.

Atmosphere is not actually one i could rate because I went through the drive through. Food was amazing. Wayyy better than any fast food I have ever had including Wendy's. My wife loved the chicken homestyle sandwich and I got the smash burger. Freaking amazing. Also the service was superb. Took their time explaining and made sure I had the right order before we left as well as read it back to me as they handed it out. Additionally made sure I had all the sauces I needed. Would love to go back.

Really really rude employee working the window just left the drive-through In his defense, I asked “two sandwiches right?” And his response was “that’s what I said” rolled his eyes shut the window then stares me down opens the window and in the tone we all know is aggressive says “you need something?!” I said “just making sure you’re okay” he laughs but really I’m stunned this dude is coming at me for no reason and is surprised I’m waiting for my food. Maybe it was a bad moment but he was acting pretty hostile like a guy looking for a fight. Pretty awkward

Came in around 1pm. At first I was in the drive thru . I was third in line but it was taking a while so I decided to go inside. Was told it was going to take a while, which is fine. I have worked restaurant before and know how that goes. They had a few large orders nothing crazy, However, As I was waiting it became incredibly clear why they were so far behind. A kid came in 15mins early before his shift. One employee saw him and thought his shift was over and started trying to leave (mind you while they're behind). Another employee had to explain that he was just early. For the next fifteen minutes the kid who was early stood there in the front waiting for his shift to begin. At no point did anyone ask if he could clock in early to help with the rush (ur shift is ur shift but at least ask). However He was asked multiple times how long til his shift was to begin. From the lobby you can clearly see the fryers- nothing was being dropped in advance and multiple food items were sitting in the window waiting to be bagged. Finally after waiting for about a half-hour (total) I had to say something and what do you know my order was in the window. Usually I don't give two cents about these kinds of things (I'm pretty lazy) but never in my 10+ years working in restaurant have a seen such a incompetent situation. Whoever was working that day (9/13) absolutely needs some sort of leadership & I say that not to be mean, but that whole ordeal shouldn't have been as stressful as it was for those employees. Sorry I had to Karen out but that was ridiculous.

First time in 6 years that I've been to Jack's. The service from all three of the employees I interacted with was beyond outstanding! In this town that's not always the norm so it was extra nice. Wish I could say the same about the food. I've always loved the food but haven't been in close enough proximity for a long time. I was sorely disappointed that I paid almost $15 for the croissant breakfast sandwich meal (w/ fries and coke) only to find that it's *nothing* like it used to be (where's the onion mayo, and the flavor, and fries that didn't used to be crunchy and cooked in old oil?), and so very small now! Side note: It was only 6:15 AM, the day was barely starting, and yet the condition of the passcode-locked bathroom was absolutely atrocious - as if it hadn't been serviced for days, and broken equipment too.

Exceptionally long service using the drive through in 90 degree heat. 15+ min (only one Jr Jack and small coffee ordered). Staff were very apologetic.

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill is a popular fast-food chain known for its soft-serve ice cream and signature shakes. They offer a variety of delicious blizzards, including the "brookie" flavor. During a recent visit at 10pm on a Saturday, there was an issue with the blizzard base, but the staff was patient and helpful in explaining this to the customer. They even went above and beyond by creating a delightful off-menu blizzard using available ingredients.
Yum - good ice cream cones. Good prompt friendly service. I like McDonald’s and Burger King. Also, but going inside for service is not a good experience. They are so busy taking care of the drive-through that the in-store service is very lacking at both of those locations. Whereas it is still good here.

I stopped by last week while visiting family in Lacey, and the customer service truly stood out. Edgar, the young man at the front, was incredibly patient with my daughter and even offered helpful suggestions on which Blizzard she might like best. We were a large group, but never felt rushed—Edgar took the time to make sure our entire order was accurate. Everything was fresh, and the desserts were absolutely delicious. A great experience all around! Thank you Edgar for being so kind and making my first ever Dairy Queen visit so memorable.

I used the drive through so I'm not sure about "atmosphere" but compared to other DQs I've been to, this one is the first one I've been to that asked if I'd like extra toppings in my blizzard. It felt like they cared to ensure I was getting a delicious treat that I wanted. Maybe a small thing, but I greatly appreciated it!

Must be a cheese cake shortage... Ordered 3 royal cheesecakes and got charged for extra cheesecake, but they didn't add any cheesecake..... Cheesecake

Last night I had a poor experience, not even a real experience if I must say. As I was walking to the door last night to enter the building I saw these Two huge RATS run across by the front doors. A worker as well noticed this, I did not give them a chance to say anything as I said “you have rats?” My husband and I turned around and left to go eat somewhere else as that completely destroyed my appetite and perspective on this DQ. Very unfortunate but until that rat issue is addressed. I will not be returning as a customer. And as a customer I feel like I should let others know. It’s completely unsafe and unsanitary. I do apologize to the worker as I came across brash. It’s not her fault.

Great fish sandwich and reasonable price unlike their ice cream products that are ridiculous in price.

I am a very frequent flyer at dairy Queen and there is a young lady named Skyler who every time I have ever had any issues has jumped to help me never complains always has a beautiful glowing smile on her face she has been an absolute dream to work with because any issues she is on it I highly recommend dairy Queen especially when this young lady is working every time I have come in there and she's in there my order is made correctly and impeccably but when she's not in there I can definitely tell the atmosphere is just different she has been an absolute dream to work with and she is amazing as an employee I give her a very big round of applause again her name is Skyler

This is the second time in a couple of weeks that the Blizzard I ordered was very melted. When I took the lid off it spilled all over me and the floor. I really try not to complain but I had to drink it instead of eating it. I’m not sure what us going on there but I hope you get it fixed soon.

Counter-serve chain offering fried fish & seafood combos, plus chicken & sides.
I went in today with a very large order. The lady at the drive through window was very polite and told me that it would take a little while because of the size of the order. They made the food very quickly and when I got back to work all of the orders were perfect! Thank you all for the great service😃

Absolutely revolting! As soon as a person walks in the door you are greeted by the smell of rotting Fish & Chicken. I was trying to find a good place that would substitute my Skippers craving. Moving forward I still decided to give the food a try and that was a mistake oh, it tasted awful and I couldn't even have eat half of it and I was really hungry! The hush puppies tasted like the rotting fish smell that was permeating the entire establishment. I miss Skippers so much! I would just steer clear of this whole building if I were you, the KFC, and the Long John Silver's. I would not be surprised if someone got sick from eating here. All these employees need to be trained in cleanliness and given a bucket of bleach.

Just don't do it!!!!! I love LJS. Last time, they missed half of our order after making us wait for 25 minutes after going through the drive through, we had to drive 15 minutes back to get the rest, and they were rude about it like it was our fault. This time, they gave me fish that was cooked in rancid oil!!! Then the guy acted like I'm crazy or lying when I called to let them know. I wasn't even asking them to fix it or give my money back.
Bash D — Google review
Fish tasted awful from whatever grease they use to fry it in. No chicken planks and no Long John Silvers original french fries; they give you KFC wedges instead and even those arent that good. Honestly the only thing I could stomach was the hush puppies...what a waste of $16. I've learned my lesson, I'm not going back to this KFC/Long John Silvers location anymore.
Janice — Google review
I would rather make the drive to Federal Way for Long John Silver's than go to this location ever again. After being given mediocre service and having to replace my food, I was only helped by the manager when he felt like coming over and acknowledging me. He asked to see the bag of cold which I had to throw away, or the receipt which was in said bag. Instead of taking the time to make it right for the customer, he shrugged and smirked and said, "Well there's nothing I can do." Then walked off to the back. If that's the case, there's nothing else I can do a customer. You've lost a loyal customer of 20+ years.
Brandon G — Google review
Should really take long john silvers out of this location. I'm a huge fan of thier food, but at this location you can never get a decent piece of fish. Every single time it tastes likes it just been sitting in grease for hours..
Robert P — Google review
Absolutely disappointed !! What kind of restaurant is OUT OF FISH when that's all you are !?!? It's a Saturday night and you're out of fish !?!? And...all theses commercials you're advertising on TV ? I haven't been to a Long John Silvers since I was a kid living in Florida. Was pretty happy to try you tonight, but you lost a customer and I won't spend any money in your establishment. Good Luck !!
Jamie T — Google review
I like Long John Silver’s and I have eaten at this specific location several times in the past few months. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because one time the food was not fresh and was oily. Another time their price was $7 higher for the same order I had just 4 days before. Not sure why but I didn’t have a coupon either time nor saw any specific specials so why was the difference???

McDonald's is a beloved fast-food institution that has stood the test of time, famous for its mouthwatering burgers and crispy fries. Visitors often rave about their experiences, highlighting the friendly service from staff members who go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. The atmosphere is inviting, with clean facilities and even outdoor seating options for those who prefer dining al fresco. Many patrons appreciate how accommodating the team can be when it comes to special requests, making each visit feel personalized.
I asked for extra pickles and I’m happy to say they UNDERSTOOD the assignment💯👌🏼. The girl ANNIE (i think) that took my order was also super friendly and nice. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had a McDonald’s.
Liberty H — Google review
THIS LOCATION IS NOT SAFE TO EAT AT. They spit in my food on 2/2/2025. I immediately called the restaurant and asked for the number to the district manager. I called the phone number that someone at the restaurant gave me and spoke to a man named Orlando. I gave him numerous complaints beyond this one. The next day, JJ, who manages this location, called me on my personal phone. She told me that she has cameras all over the place and doesn't believe that this happened. She did not say that she looked at the cameras and no one spit in the food, she said she does not believe it happened. She's calling me a liar. The public also needs to be aware that this McDonald's is printing duplicates of your receipt after you leave and filling out the corporate surveys with five stars to make this location look better. And they are asking developmentally disabled employees to do it. I will testify in court to this matter. I am no liar. This McDonald's is being run in an unethical manner and it needs to be investigated or shut down. Corporate and the health department are aware. And the Washington state District Attorney is being notified about the receipt review scam.

We'll go to the chickens, a quarter pounder, and a the chicken per dollar service and manager, we're very nice, nice. Environment, and you can sit outside too. The bathroom is clean. The environment was clean.Food was delicious

I had an interview here and the supervisor has poor communication skills and did not even acknowledge that fact that i had an interview. Gossip is all I heard from what appeared to be a boss. Wasted gas from Shelton and wasted my time. She said to other employees that she didn't need workers and didn't know why they were hiring. I overheard this. Professional I think not. Thank you for being judgmental on my appearance and not giving me my time for interview. Won't be back there

Dude, im sitting in the drive through still, massive line, its Saturday at 942am, cashier and the rest of the staff cant speak English at all. Cashier got my order wrong 3 times, then I see she's high and wearing a bathrobe at the window. Lmao what? Took almost 15 minutes to get a sausage, egg muffin and 2 hash Browns.
Tvlog — Google review
Idk man, the fries were limp and cold, I asked for no pickles on my burger, the ticket on the box said no pickles but there were like 4 or 5 on my burger. Plus the prices are stupid. We haven't been to a mickey d's in a looong time and I was surprised it cost $31+ for 2 meals.
Cherrish S — Google review
Said they haven't done refills since covid, I've been to plenty of other McDonald's locations over the last few years that have been doing refills. So it is a weird choice made by this specific location.

If i could give no stars i would. Ignored by staff when trying to have my kids(boys) let in the bathroom, luckily the womens was propped open ( was empty) Once we got our food it looked as if it was tossed together wish i would have gotten pictures before i rebuilt it. One container of fries was dripping grease and stale. People being ignored for the bathrooms seems to be a trent at all mcdonalds so not suprised there but ive def had better food other times just disappointed as i assumed the food would be fresh cause they had just stopped serving breakfast, wont be making that assumption again.

A must try. Always tasty and mouthwatering. Great aroma as you walk up to the truck. Great for a quick lunch downtown and some of best prices in town. And the servings are on point. I am heading there now as you read this because it is just that good!!

No need to think twice. Amazing food with fresh cut ingredients. We ordered chicken enchiladas and mango chicken. He literally chopped everything fresh and it all tasted amazing. This was after we had something at the indian truck next to it. Great quantity and super cheap for the value. We couldnt finish and had to box it.

Became my goto spot for street tacos. Their carne asada and carnitas tacos are awesome and reasonably priced. 1 star deduction for not including salsa as they charge for them…
Pacmon — Google review
Authentic Hispanic cuisine from a food truck situated downtown at Capn Budds lot (kaddy corner from Percival landing,). It's like a food court with 3-4 food trucks all in one spot, Jamaican Jerk, Braut Hass, Indian cuisine, and la Luna taco's.
Tony M — Google review
Love this truck, never been disappointed. About the same price as most other Taco trucks in the area but La Luna just hits different. At the time of this review their phone number listed on Google seems to be incorrect. I posted a picture of the number on their truck.

I wish I had tried this taco truck sooner. Phenomenally delicious!
Christina H — Google review
Walked up to the truck. Thought I would try it. Was told some items on the menu board weren't available anymore. So I just ordered a macho burrito for my husband. The service was sub par. Left like I was interrupting him. Took the food directly home from there and my husband said the food was cold. My daughter at at the Jerk and thingz truck in the same parking lot and her food was really good. Next time I'll go there.
