The 48 best cheap eats in South Bend

A hidden gem in downtown South Bend. Took my boys out for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We started with the Chicken Satay, Potstickers, and Pork Egg Rolls... all of which were very flavorful, cooked perfectly, and priced well. My youngest son especially loved the Potstickers. My older son couldn't stop talking about the Satay. The boys shared a chicken fried rice which came out in a timely manner and with good portion size. The boys said it was some of their favorite fried rice ever. I had the Red Curry (Level 5 Spice). It was very good! Good portion, great flavor, and spice level was just how I like it - HOT. The waitress was very friendly, very attentive, and even helped with suggestions and sizing. My only less than positive critiques are that it would be nice to have fountain drinks (with free refills) instead of bottled drink. But pricing was ok. And atmosphere was run down and tired. Paint coming off walls and cheap tables and decor... but frankly I'd take good food and service over fancy decorations any day... but an update to the place and fountain drinks would make this a 5 star place (and I suspect a LOT busier). Not sure if we caught them on a off night. They did say they are moving to Mishawaka. I got the drunken noodles and they were not very good. I had such high hopes as it is my favorite dish. There was no veggies in the dish besides onions. No basil, no brocolli, really nothing to it. The beef was ok, the noodles were very few and between. Almost felt like it was just reheated. The dish was mostly onions and some bean sprouts. I also got the spring rolls. They were ok but some of the lettuce in it was brown and obviously bad. My wife got the fried rice and she said it was ok. Not sure, if this was just because they are moving or what but overall i would say the place is really in disrepair.

I ordered the chive pancake and the red curry chicken. The pancakes were simple yet good. The only issue with them was that you can tell the oil is a bit old as there were black speckles all over the pancakes. The red curry chicken was delicious and full of flavor.

The beef drunken noodles + shrimp is my fav go to lunch and dinner meal! I get my noodles extra crispy! The crispy noodles in that drunken sauce flavored to perfection, is the best thing going for my taste buds! I also love the rice with shrimp & beef!

The best smash burger I've ever put in my mouth by far!!! Perfectly cooked with the freshest toppings. It's a bit of a drive for us however I see this being a once a week place to go for dinner.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is always made fresh and is delicious!! The family that owns it is very nice. I have not ever been disappointed. I highly recommend eating here. Our favorites are combination fried rice and drunken noodles.

The food here is incredible! Pad Thai is among the best I've tried. My wife also loves the drunken noodles. They're always friendly and the food comes out quickly! Don't hesitate to try this place!

This Place is Amazing. Every time I order, even in the rare occasion of an item missing or confusion on my part ordering online. If you just call and talk to them they fill the items even if it is a website mess up not on their end they still give you the food with no fuss. It's an absolutely amazing level of customer service. You guys do great work. And are one of the few places left that have it mastered. Keep up the great work!!! 👍

They deserve 8 stars for their service! As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a massive smile as if you are an old friend... It is the nicest atmosphere in a cafe I've been to in South Bend. We were given a free brownie after by the lovely person serving us (that's bad I've forgotten her name). The brownies were incredible, home cooked by the lovely person serving us too. The food was great - big portions, rustic basic and great tasting food.

My last review of Allies was from six years ago. I admittedly haven't been here for at least two years. This visit wasnt very good. We got seated after about five minutes. And sad to say we were next to a window sill that was dusty and had little dead bugs all in the dust. Gross. I'm mean it would take literally five seconds to clean each window sill. I ordered a hot chocolate and the hash brown casserole. My husband and a friend also ordered breakfast. The service was very slow. The restaurant was freezing. The hash brown casserole was greasy. The hot chocolate was big and delicious! I'll probably go back to Allies one day, but I won't get my old favorite hash brown casserole again.

We had Allies cater our wedding so my review is based off of the experience with them over the months of wedding planning and not just a one time experience. Anyway, when we were going to do our taste test, I was communicating with someone about when a good day and time was to do it, and they said “from 10 on”. So since they close at 3, my fiance and I went at 1:30. When we got there, we were informed that they can’t do it right now because of a party that was about to start at the restaraunt at 2. I told them I was told we could come anytime after 10 and had the email to show. There was some back and forth and then someone finally said they can just do the testing now real quick. The food was great but we felt rushed. I also had to ask the contact I had three different times for my invoice so I could pay them and had to ask for my estimate 7 days after being told they would get it to me and never did. It just added more stress to the wedding planning process. However, the day of the wedding everything went smoothly and the food was great and their staff were kind and very helpful.

I was just in there, thinking to give this little spot a shot to experience breakfast. But had terrible experience, I had a Spanish waitress and nothing against it I’m Mexican but to hear her talk in Spanish foul about her other employees was not pleasant. I couldn’t enjoy my meal or feel welcomed, very negative environment. And will not be returning. Very dry eggs add milk.

I got breakfast for pickup and all the food was tasty. My only complaint being that I ordered extra crispy hash browns and 75% of my hash looked undercooked. Edible, just not crispy.

We cannot say enough about our fantastic experience with Allie’s for our daughter’s wedding reception. The service, food, and staff were 10 out of 10. Highly recommend for any event of any size.

A bit pricey but if you add all the additional topping that are included it makes for a lot of food for the money. Staff was friendly and it was clean in the dining area. I had the lemon chicken salad, the chicken didn’t taste great but loaded with all the toppings I was stuffed. Co-workers had the pasta one with steak which he said was good. I tried a meatball and I did like the flavor so I’d try that on pasta. Overall what I had was very filling although it didn’t taste really fresh but it’ll fill you up.

I had high hope for this place. I had a coworker eat this for lunch and it smelled and looked delicious. I got the spicy shrimp and was very disappointed in the dish. The flavors were all wrong. The dish got soggy very quickly and made it difficult to eat. I honestly ate some of the pasta and ate the shrimp then threw the rest away. I gave two stars just because the service and the guys working were awesome.

I've only been here twice and have yet to fall in love with it. I've had both the small and large plates. The small plate is plenty filling for a lunch portion; however, the large is about double the size. If you want leftovers for $2 more, it's not a bad idea to get the large. There are premade menu options or ou can build your own pasta or salad. I'm not a fan of vinaigrettes and the steak is cooked/seasoned with it. The lemon chicken is pretty good. The flat bread is the best thing in their. Soft, moist, sweet. The pasta sauces seem to bland for a restaurant. That's my biggest gripe. If I had to eat here, I'd be fine. It's just not a place I see myself visiting often.

I love this place, although I only get the same thing (Shrimp salad) which is usuallys great (sometimes, the lettuce is brown which makes it aesthetically unpleasant) but my friends and I have noticed a discrepancy when it comes to dining in vs getting takeout. The sizes are different. The amount of lettuce and the number of shrimp is less when you order takeout and I'm not sure that is supposed to be a thing. The staff is really nice and understanding and the place is usually very clean. So, overall, I'd recommend this place.

A small menu that's different then most. The food was decent but seemed to lack flavor. The plate was overfilled with spaghetti that was a little cold and chicken that was supposed to have a lemon flavor but a few pieces actually had any. The bread is good but needs to be served on the side because it turned soggy and gross because they put the spaghetti, chicken, and sauce over it. It's not a bad place to go and I recommend you go once to try something different, but the biggest problem is that the food needs to be warmer.

After a year of talking about trying this restaurant out, we finally made it. And it was really good. Small menu, good choices, assembly line style preparation (Subway, chipotle, etc). Once the initial menu choice was made, it could be loaded with lots of great toppings. Moderately priced and worth it. We'll be back.

The wait is long but it's worth it I ordered a BLT, and I had them add an over hard egg, such a delicious sandwich.. My son got the veggie Skillet and it came with several other items as a side so he chose to get a pancake .. My fries could have been a little bit crispier.. The wait staff was amazing.. The bacon on The BLT was amazing so nice and crispy and quite a bit.

Stopped on our way back home from my bach party. The wonderful ladies were so inviting. So much fun!!! And AMAZING food! Down home cooking at its finest! Thank you all for the hospitality! Next time we're in South Bend, we will be stopping by! 🤤

Very welcoming atmosphere. Reminded me of our home town diner. In the 60s. Food was excellent and hot. Prices are great!

I was in town and found this place thanks to Yelp and Google. It’s a local, family diner. It has some booths and a large counter. Service was prompt and friendly. We both ordered omelettes. Waitress offered homemade jam - strawberry rhubarb, peach or blueberry. That was so good to add to my homemade biscuit. Omelette and potatoes were also very good. Numerous coffee refills. I even bought some homemade cookies for $1 each to take with me. Highly recommended!

My partner LOVED her dish. It was fried chicken with sausage white gravy, hash browns, and toast. Note that she does not like sausage and didn’t realize she would be getting some on her chicken, but was pleasantly surprised. My vegetarian skillet (no mushrooms modification, see photo) was good, but very greasy and may have given me a stomach ache. It tasted good and ingredients seemed fresh— it was just too oily for me. The toast (rye) was really good— always an indicator of a good diner!

Breakfast on Wednesday, 2 biscuits with gravy and 2 eggs, the portion was huge and I couldn't eat it all. The price was cheap for the portion and the service was top notch, will visit again whe I'm in the area.

Enjoyed this place since it was the White House, The G&H (Fat Shirley's). Sure it's more clean now and the countertops no longer have 70 years of wear on them, but it's still pretty tasty, reasonably priced and of course the staff is attentive and friendly. Unlike the G&H days, it's safe to drink your coffee to the bottom of the cup. Used to be scared what you would find there. I'll be back again .

Hadn't been to the Five Guys location in a few years and was hoping for a good burger. The burgers were not worth the price and the atmosphere was garish and uninviting. The cashier who took our order was rude and as was the cook, it wasn't busy, maybe 2 other patrons. When we told our order she kept messing it up and when she told the cook the cook rolled her eyes and huffed over to the stove with an attitude. The burgers themselves were not good quality and definitely not worth the price. We were very disappointed as we had eaten at the location years prior and they were so good then that they were memorable. Now? They were a step above a McDonald's burger or a burger served in a public school cafeteria. And the shakes? Decent at best. Wasn't worth the money spent.

We got the veggie sandwich and hot dog and they were just alright, especially for the price. We each got small fries because with the extras they always toss in the bag we each ended up with an additional small fry. They are delicious! A personal favorite touch is the soda fountain which has a ton of variety.

Great for good and greasy burgers that are a bit pricey. I mean, its fast, hot, and fresh and pretty tasty but almost $11 for a double burger and just the burger is a bit high and im not someone who typically has any issues dropping money on food. Also, im pretty sure the fry portions are supposed to overflow the container, at least the five guys near my home in Chicago does that. Normally a large fry is more than enough for two people, not this time. Ok experience

We visited this location tonight, they were extremely busy. It seemed as though they were short-staffed, only having two guys working on taking orders and making all the food. Even though our order took a bit longer than usual, let me say those two guys working rocked it! They made good quality food, they were pleasant and worked awesome together to get everyone served. Kudos to the two employees holding down the fort alone at about 6:30 pm in 5/6/25. Five stars all the way!!

Amazing food always so good. Floor gets messy but they usually sweep every so often. Employees are for the most part very polite and helpful.

My preferred burger of choice. My family goes out to eat on Sundays, and Five Guys is our pick every other Sunday. Their quality is in the upper 90 percentile when it comes to consistency. There’s only been a few occasions when they messed up our order. But, the employees are only human, and we’re all prone to make an occasional mistake. I absolutely love their burgers. They’re the best burger restaurant chain in my opinion. I remember all the hype that Portillo’s had when they came into the area. Went there once to try their burger. The bun fell apart after only three bites. Five Guys will always have my business as long as they keep delivering high quality burgers, and friendly staff.

Can't go wrong with Five Guys! Great burgers and fries, all cooked fresh. Huge portions. The staff here are super friendly and nice too. Some of the nicest quick service staff in the area. Also one of the few places to offer all burger toppings for free!

You need to eat here! Locally owned with excellent food and friendly service. Great, hearty pub atmosphere. All the food items my group and I ordered were delicious: shepherds pie, bangers and mash, fish and chips, etc. Special appreciation for the fish being cooked well. We will definitely come back here next time we are in South Bend!

Iconic Notre Dame-area spot! Delicious Irish-style pub fare, robust craft and Irish beer selection, and a lively but cozy atmosphere. It’s especially great if you go a bit early in the evening.

Homemade bangers and mash. Killer shepherd's pie. Everything made in-house! Perfect Guiness pour. Excellent food and friendly service - Elle is the best! No need to hop across the pond - all the Irish pub vibe you need is right here. The owner was sitting at the bar when we were there - so homey! Will be back next time we're in town and hopefully on a Wednesday to catch some Irish music!

Excellent traditional Irish food and beer. If you're planning on going after a ND game I would recommend reservations. We didn't have any and were lucky to get a table outside which is first come first serve. Curry chips were delicious and I enjoyed every bite of the Irish stew and brown bread.

We had a reservation for a large group. Everyone was friendly, food was good, beer great, and an Irish Pub feel.

The authenticity of this pub was top notch. Almost brought tears to my eyes and made me want to visit Ireland even more. Communal tables, bustle and warmth, a cozy fireplace and a mish mash of seating... and that's all before I mention how amazing the food was! I had to try a scotch egg and was not disappointed! For my meal I had a burger and chips (loved the malt vinegar on the table) and my friend had the lamb stew and everything was so hearty and flavorful. The Fighting Irish Sundae was also fabulous. Just all around a great spot and I'll make the trip to go back, for sure!

Goodness excellent and the bartender was fantastic, food and drink order taken care of easily, friendly conversation! Parking confusing, lot attached to building is pay to park.

It's a good go-to place for us. I like the dumplings a lot here! Last time we ordered some chopsuy and it was good. Overall you can have a decent meal here.

Growing up as a Chinese American in rural America, it's usually very very difficult to find an authentic, reasonably-priced and delicious Chinese restaurant with a warm environment, but on our visit to Indiana, JW Chen's went above and beyond. The staff were more than welcoming, the service was exemplary, and above all the food was literally mouthwatering. I am not exaggerating when I say even the smell made my whole family impatient and eager to try the food. In fact, it was so good that we couldn't help but come back for dinner again on the second night of our stay! Over the course of two nights, we tried the spicy fish, garlic eggplant, mapo tofu, salt and pepper ribs, dry chili chicken, cumin beef, and garlic green beans. They were all elevated versions of dishes we know and love, with fresh ingredients and robust flavors. We are so happy we went and if we're ever in town again, will definitely be back. Thank you JW Chen for giving our family memories we will cherish forever!

*Updated review 4/17/24 This is my wife and I, 3rd time here and it’s just as good. We always get the dry chili fried chicken and it’s always delicious. Today Tiffany recommended the cumin beef and it was fantastic. It had nice cumin flavor and with a kick. We will definitely come back to try their other dishes and they have a vegetarian menu. This was my wife and I second time here for lunch. Our server Tiffany was amazing in recommending us some yummy dishes. We were very hungry so we forgot to take pictures. But I would definitely try their dry chili chicken and twice cook pork. Their egg drop and hot & sour soup was fantastic. This is as close as you are going to get to authentic Chinese food without having to buy a ticket to China. Parking was ample and restaurant was clean and perfect for a lunch date or special dinner with the family.

This was my first time dining at this place and it DID NOT disappoint! The food & service was excellent! My boyfriend wanted some Ramen but their menu only showed Udon noodles and they gladly prepared him a Ramen Soup dish. I had chicken chop suey. Let me just say the flavor in both dishes was excellent. Get out of your comfort zone when ordering here because they will gladly make you an authentic dish. This place is a hidden gem! I cannot wait to go again and try more dishes.

Update to prior review: Stopped and grabbed carry out. Prices have gone up but thats just 2024 unfortunately. I drove over 30 minutes, home, unloaded groceries and my food was still so hot i couldn't eat it yet! Servings are a little smaller but still a decent price for amount of food. The gentleman that assisted me was very kind. The restaurant itself looks way better then back in the day, they are definitely trying to work on appearances. Give them a shot. ( Old review to follow) Went for lunch today and the place is definitely way less busy then older days. My food was the same as when Jean was owner the crispy chicken was still delicious. Rice was not very warm so they replaced it no problems. The place could use a face-lift and definitely a good scrubbing, especially the bathroom. But our experience was not nearly as terrible as some of the reviews on here.

This place is on point the fastest I've never seen crab rangoon come out so fast and everything is hot and fresh. If you haven't been here you should, one of the best.

One of the best asian restaurants in Elkhart and south bend. Had a lovely mother's day lunch here. Toilets are clean. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Food was very good and portion size was very impressive. Will surely return for more

The Carriage House is a hidden gem in the north Indiana/South Michigan area! The food was genuinely spectacular and the service was extremely high-quality; professional but friendly. This is a great place to chill and eat authentic, genuinely wonderful cuisine. The location features beautiful scenery that gives off refined European vibes. I ordered the “1851” burger, which was wonderfully prepared and cooked! 10/10 recommended!

Farm to fork outdoor dining at its finest. The blue crab flatbread pizza is incredibly good, too. Very nice and diverse wine selection.

Went out with the wife for a date night and was impressed. The outdoor dining was unique and the food and drinks were great. Higher priced food but well worth it.

Delightful staff, amazing attention to detail, the most personable and caring chef and proprietor. The holiday atmosphere and food were second to none. Highly recommend.

Went for Easter lunch food was top notch! Very welcoming staff and excellent food and experience! They also we're so kind to us and our 2 young kids preparing their plates and catering to them beautifully :)

What the f*** is going on here?? Made a reservation here based on great reviews and photos. Arrived to a lovely garden, but a waiter insisting we did not have a reservation while telling us to go away. Begrudgingly admitted us when I showed her the text confirmation. Got the menu and it was all pizza and burgers-- great if you're Domino's but not so much for a nice dinner out. Maybe 5 other tables seated, nobody ever came and took drink orders. Table next to us started complaining about the food, and we took it as our sign to leave. Ended up visiting another establishment and had a wonderful time where we felt much more welcome. I would NEVER visit here again, and would actually actively discourage other people from visiting based on our experience and what we saw other people encountering during our brief visit.

I have been aware of Carriage House for years now, and had heard good recommendations from friends. So we finally decided to try it out for Mother's Day brunch. I'm still trying to sort it out in my head because the quality, presentation, and flavor was slightly better than cafeteria food. The Quiche Loraine was bland and forgettable, the potatoes were undercooked and the sausage links had the consistency of boiled hot dogs. And it all looked like it had just been slapped on the plate without care. I thought this was supposed to be a fine dining restaurant. What happened?

Casual sports bar style place with capacity for a lot of people. The area is very clean and borderline ritzy. Food took about 60 minutes to come out but service was great. They kept up with drinks ( a lot of options on tap) Burgers we got “the overachiever” and the “jalapeño popper” both good although I think the popper was a bit sweet. You can’t request medium rare on the burgers which was a slight bummer. Overall…worth the visit if you’re chilling with friends and not in a hurry.

This place is a decent lil bar near the campus. You can see the history in the bar which is nice, however the food is basic . I went with my family, it was a decent stop for our road trip as we drove through the campus. It's a sports bar. Bathrooms were ok. Overall, a decent experience but I do not plan on stopping here again.

This was a nice place to go for a evening out to eat, drink and play pool. Went there with 6 people and had fun, the servers were very nice, the food was typical bar food nothing impressive but we had a great time.

Can't rate food since we ended up not eating there. After bringing our drinks and menu waitress was no where to be found. We waited over 5 mins before we left. There were 3 tables in the shade that weren't cleared while we were there. We would of liked to sit in shade but there weren't available. Only been there 1 other time and we liked it.

We had an incredible experience! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and our server Jessica was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and truly helped elevate our dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Great place!! Good food! Best cheese curds in town!

We got there after the game and mass, around 8:30, and it took forever to find parking. When we finally walked in, I asked a waitress before we sat down if they were still serving food. She said yes and told us to grab any table. We sat down at a dirty table and waited a while before another waitress came over to take our drink order and clean the table. We pulled up the menu on our phones, and nowhere did it mention that game days had a different menu. Once everyone arrived and we finally ordered, the waitress came back a few minutes later to tell us the kitchen was only serving appetizers. It was frustrating because if we’d known before the 9 p.m. cutoff, we definitely would’ve ordered food sooner. Instead, we just paid for our drinks and went down the street for a better experience.

Note: as of this writing they are currently carry out only The falafel was okay, but the beef shawarma plate and baklava were really disappointing. The meat was not fresh and in fact was still cold on my plate. Maybe Chef Mic needed to heat it up for 30 more seconds?

The hoummos appetizer was bland. I had the Shish Tawouk. The chicken was good but I was not a big fan of the Lebanese salad. I did really like the garlic paste. His Beef Shawarma with rice wasn't very flavorful.

Nice! It's one of the few places in town where you can get meat-and-rice filed grape leaves. Half of them were good. Half were too dry, probably from overheating. Still, worth trying this place

My husband and I found this while out of town visiting family. It was fabulous. We recommended it to all our family that lives nearby. I had the falafel sandwich and my husband had the chicken shawarma bowl. Everything was great. The garlic paste and sauces were fantastic. The baklava is probably the best I’ve had anywhere. The lady that helped us (sorry I didn’t get her name) was very nice and very conscientious about disinfecting during the COVID pandemic. Made this pregnant lady’s day!

Excellent Mediterranean food! We strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Notre Dame. We have had dinner here multiple times and we enjoy our dishes each and every time. Recently we had the chance to try several of their desserts and they were delicious. Also, the service is always excellent.

Nick’s Patio is a staple for all college students in south bend. It is reasonably priced with generous portions. The staff are very pleasant and courteous. The service is fast. If you are passing through South Bend or staying there for a couple of days, you must visit this all-American diner. It is open 24 hours! And if you love the food, you can show your love by purchasing a commemorative T-shirt 😄

This is my first time to Nick's Patio. I've lived in the area (slightly North) my whole life, drove by a million times. And let me say, beat diner experience I've had in a very long time. I ordered a skillet. Next time, I was t to order a lunch item. The menu is huge! The service is amazing. The atmosphere is exactly what one wants in a diner. If you're in South Bend, run don't walk to Nick's Patio.

Great spot fabulous menu/ array of dishes & prices can't be beat. old Denny's type seating, just fine. Gravy actually has sausage in it (a lot of places have cut down the sausage to gravy ratio to near nothing, not here, great proportion Can't wait till they get deviled eggs on the menu. 😉

They always have great breakfast food You can get breakfast lunch and dinner all hours of the night all hours of the day It's one of the very few places left in the area you can get 24-hour service They have implemented a very smart prepay I imagine it's from a lot of drunk people dining dashing. You get the usual crowd 3:00 in the morning You got bunch of people leaving the bars and since it's next to Notre Dame you got a huge hungry community of young people college students and stuff but it's nice They have good food no matter what you get.

Not a bad little diner, the decor was old but it wasn't a bad place. The service was very quick and your food reaches your table very quickly and hot. When I entered I was seated very quickly and my order was taken within 5 min of being seated and within 10 min my order was taken. Food was good, I ordered eggs, pancakes, sausage and bacon and the food was good. If you want a quick eat in a dinner setting I would recommend this little diner.

My first time eating at Nick's Patio was fir a late lunch. The food was good and big portions. The waitress was wonderful. There were some things that I noticed that needed to be fixed. The ceiling throughout the restaurant needs to be replaced. Some of the tiles were about to fall, which could be dangerous if people are sitting under them. Some tiles had mildew and water damage. I even think there might have been mold on some of the vents. Just some of my observations.

I usually don’t write a review but after visiting this place I had too. I would not even give 1 star to this place. Very dirty and unhygienic. Attached pictures are the proof. We wait there for almost 45 mins because they prioritize the online orders. The young girl with a long hair wasn’t wearing the hair net and her hair was that long that would touching the surface where they are preparing pizza. Not a good place for vegetarian people… jalapeño and olives were next to the meat and you can see that meat was in veggies containers as well. I came here for a nice experience but unfortunately not at this place…. They even serve us pizza without liner directly in brown box… those recycled boxes 🫣🫨

Ordered a pizza for pickup. Got basically bread and sauce. The toppings were a joke -- a smattering of olives thrown unevenly across the pizza, a few onion slices and a few mushrooms (first photo below shows my pizza -- the rest of the pizza was as bad as those two slices). My husband fared a bit better with his vegan pizza (second photo). If you're going there, best to go in person so you can watch people make your pizza and be sure you don't get shortchanged. As for me, I am done with Blaze. UPDATE: Blaze reached out to make it up to me so I raised it from 1 to 3 stars. Kudos to them for that. I'll give it one more try before I call it quits. Will update once I've done that.

I love Blaze Pizza but this location is HORRIBLE when it comes to service, mainly prioritizing in store customers vs the online orders. The last 5 out of 6 times coming to this location, including on today’s visit, has been a situation where you wait in line to order and then once you get to the point of ordering, they print off anywhere from 7-11 online orders in a row and then ask you to wait for all of them before making your order. I understand the balance between getting an order out online fast but make it a balance of both. Put a 20 min order time or something in place as I have seen many potential customers walk out because of this. I also understand that that it is close to ND but I have never experienced this at any other Blaze Pizza! Management - Please FIX this!!

I would not even give 1 star to this location. Very unhygienic. I went there for a nice pizza with great expectations but after seeing my pizza , i was very disappointed. Being vegetarian seeing the topping station full of mess gave me the anxiety of getting meat in my pizza. The pizza tasted burnt (both pies and garlic bread had burned crumbs stick at the bottom, probably they dont clean theor ovens too) and the crew members were not at all welcoming. I asked for onions on my pizza and the guy told me that it might take 45 minutes to get it from back 🤔. When i asked for more sauce i was told that it will be extra which is my first hearing at Blaze. My fingers were all black when I held my first slice, extremely poor quality (see picture for real). I ended up trashing my whole order. Dont waste your money at this place!

This pizza place is delicious and the staff is very helpful. The entire counter crew made this experience wonderful. I hope to stop by again.

Store hours say open until 11. I came into the lobby at 10:15 and was told they would start my order in a few minutes. I was the only customer in the lobby. Several minutes later, I was told they wouldn’t be taking any lobby orders. If the lobby door is open and signage states open until 11pm, then don’t make people wait to order, then refuse to serve them several minutes later. Zero stars if I could rate that. Will not be back.

Shout out to Eme Cassidy and Demetrius they made my pizza amazing! They and are so friendly and made my whole day! They made sure to change gloves when handling my gluten free pizza due to my allergy! Blaze has the best gluten free pizza!

Indoor, year round farmer’s market. Great variety of things, always interesting and fun. The cafe serves excellent breakfast as well.

Best Farmer's Market ever! Okay...I grew up in the area so I'm sort of partial to it, but even after traveling and visiting others around the country, nothing compares to it. Wonderful variety of fresh everything from fruits and vegetables to breads and meats as well as healthy plants and homemade items. It is a must-visit farmer's market. And the restaurant is amazing with great service. Check out the avocado toast I recently had for breakfast. Is that eye candy or what? And it was so tasty, too. Excellent service came with it, which was a bonus. So whether you live near South Bend or are just passing through, pay it a visit. You will not regret it.

The Farmers Market has seen better days. While it once offered a charming, old-style atmosphere with fresh produce, it now feels dated and run-down. The prices have climbed significantly, and many vendors come across as overly self-important rather than focused on quality or customer service. The market has taken on a distinctly "yuppie" vibe, which may appeal to some but alienates others who preferred its former welcoming, community-oriented feel. Unfortunately, if you don’t fit into a certain niche, you might feel like an outsider rather than a valued customer. For those seeking an inclusive, reasonably priced farmers' market experience, this may no longer be the best choice. Final Thoughts: 2/5 Stars – A shadow of what it once was, with overpriced goods and an unwelcoming atmosphere.

The restaurant inside is ONLY good if you know someone. Otherwise, you get food that is fast food quality at best on top of terrible service. The waitress handling my party would be there for a second, then talk with those she knew, neglecting her other customers. That’s only the restaurant. The actual Farmer’s Market part of the building isn’t awful, but it is ALWAYS busy and the prices are the /SAME/ as store prices. Not worth the drive because you lose out with how much gas is. If you have Notre Dame moneys, then fine, otherwise, you’re out of luck. (06/2025)

Great place for the whole family. They always have a great selection of vendors - all of which are extremely friendly and helpful. My favorite is this succulent farm with a huge selection of succulents! You can also grab breakfast or lunch from many different vendors.

Got an Almond Joy frozen coffee. Worst coffee drink I’ve ever had. Diluted, like frozen water with no flavor. My husband asked for an espresso. Didn’t know what they were. Wouldn’t go back.

My first time at this location and they definitely exceeded expectations. It's a large space, you order at the counter and they bring your food out when it's ready. The service was efficient and friendly even though they were busy. Our food came out quickly. Turkey jalapeno sandwich was excellent, good bread and fresh ingredients. My dining companions had salads that looked delicious and were generous portions. Will return.

No napkins on our table or 3 others. The booths were dirty. We picked the cleanest of them. The food was good. Although the mac and cheese was dried out on top. My half sandwich bottom was soggy from swimming in pickle juice and just wasn't edible. For $30+ for a meal, I was extremely disappointed. We went that day for my birthday. I'm very disappointed. The young man who waited on us was nice, Tyler. Everyone else was caught up in gossiping and was loud. That added to the dissatisfaction also.

I was overwhelmed with the great hospitality that I received while on a lunch date with my son. I ordered the cucumber tomato salad which wasn't the freshest. I did not complain, as I did eat all the cucumbers out of it. When the sever picked up our plates, she asked if something was wrong with it since I didn't eat all of it. I told her it was just not as fresh as I would've liked, but I was ok with that. She was not okay with that. She came back with 2 portions of fresh salad to take home and also a VIP card for my next visit. Thank you for having amazing staff that recognizes those little things. I will always come back!

McAlister’s is a refreshing mix up of fast casual cafe food. The food is delicious and fresh. I usually go for a salad, and I found out that salad dressing is made in house. That’s probably why it tastes so amazing. I also am in love with their sweet tea. It’s basically Southern sweet level but not as sweet as McDonald’s. Although, make sure you ask for no ice or light ice. They’ll give you so much otherwise, but drink refills are free. The atmosphere is pretty cozy and calming, and it makes for a great place to stop and eat lunch with friends or family.

Fast and friendly service. All of the food was delicious. This location seemed much more efficient than other locations I've visited.

Look this place is my absolute favorite restaurant In town when I just want something good and to relax for the night. But the wrap I order the most (Ceasar chicken wrap) are tiny like a child could eat one and still be hungry. Please McAllisters do something about this get bigger wraps 🙏

Nice eatery inside of Edison Park shopping area. Was not too so busy when I came to eat. I had the rib tips, barbecue of course. Jumbo shrimp. Both came with fries and coleslaw. I added a side of Greek salad, small. The tips were tasty and smothered in barbecue sauce, tangy. But they lacked a seasoned flavor. The jumbo shrimp were very good and a good value. Both meals had generous portions. I was unable to check the restroom, I'm sure it's clean because I can see the cleaning products behind the kitchen while standing at the register. It is seat yourself, the cashier was very very kind and helpful. Highly recommend this joint for a quick eat with family friends or that special day. Would have given it five stars but again the tips lacked a seasoned flavor. Special note, when ordering food to go be sure you get your own utensils and napkins. They are not included inside the packaging.

My “go to” gyro place. It’s near my place of work, so I sometimes call ahead an order for carry out on my way home. They used to employ a certain man who worked there for years and years. He was always there whenever I stopped in. After a long time, I noticed he was no longer there and the quality of the gyro changed. They’re not as delicious and well made as they used to be, but they are still good. I only had one complaint about this place throughout the years. They used to employ a very rude woman who worked the order counter and phones. She was always unpleasant. I’m happy she no longer works there.

Had the new "Gyro Bowl" tonight and it was really terrific! Their rice is flavorful and moist, the gyro meat had crispy edges ❤, feta, the sauce...MUST TRY! (Pic note: Had already eaten some, but presentation was great as well!)

Way overpriced. Small portions. Overall bad experiences on multiple occasions. I will not be going back. Windy city gyros is a much better option!!!

Great burgers at this hidden gem of a local bar. Limited seating and you have to order at the bar but if you go at the right time, it's really worth it. The music was a bit loud so don't plan on having any deep conversations. As seen on (ACC) 3 Day Weekend travel show.

Great hole in the wall. Right across the street from Notre Dame University. Look for the Dixie Chicken sticker at the bar. This is the location before or after the games.

I really love coming here when I visit Notre Dame. They have so much memorabilia to see and cold beer on tap. On game weekends it is too busy to enjoy though. There wasn't much service and they have a cover charge on Fridays. We didn't stay long because it took a long time to get food and drinks. I would suggest coming for lunch on Friday or waiting until Sunday on game weekends. Otherwise, this is a great nostalgic place to check out.

The only reason I gave three stars for food and service is I did not get anything to eat. I'm not bashing the establishment, I am basing this review on my fifteen minute observation. They were extremely busy, not a bad thing. All of the tables were full inside and they had seating available outside but I did not want to eat outside. From what I gathered, the environment screamed excellent venue. I hope to return one day to experience the food because it came highly recommended.

Carter was AWESOME!!! We are doing a road trip from Washington to OC Maryland for our 40th Anniversary. We are HUGE ND fans so made South Bend one of our stops. We had SO much fun celebrating with Carter! She played so many songs for our anniversary, we had a blast. GREAT MEMORIES IN SOUTH BEND THANKS TO CARTER!

Two people were cool. Waiter and the bartender Jake. Super cool and great. But end of night comes, and someone kicks me out because I was "sleeping." I hear someone blow a whistle, next thing I know, 2 guys are standing over me and I think they are getting some asshole. But nope, just me. I dropped a bag on drinks and wings and nachos. Wings were good, but the nachos sucked. I won't deny, I was having a good time, a real good time, until someone started shaking me out of my chair. Literally. And then I was walked out and told to have a good night. Kick rocks is what they should have said.

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the significant decline in both customer service and food quality at the Culver's location on Michigan Street. As a loyal patron since its opening, I have observed a considerable deterioration over the years, which prompted me to visit the Indiana 933 or Niles locations instead to enjoy the quality I had come to expect from Culver's. On this occasion, I decided to visit the Michigan Street restaurant again. Regrettably, the burger I received was excessively greasy, flattened, and unacceptably crunchy. Despite waiting over 20 minutes for my order as a dine-in customer, when I inquired about a replacement, the cashier questioned what was wrong with it, and another 20 minutes elapsed without a resolution. My child was left without a meal, and no refund was offered. Given these experiences, I respectfully request that Culver's upper management review the camera footage and consider retraining or replacing the current staff. Ensuring that competent, customer-oriented, and professional individuals are employed at this location is crucial. Until such measures are taken, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone, despite living nearby. The fact that I drive all the way to Niles for a satisfactory Culver's burger speaks volumes.

Ordered at the counter and they come to your table with the food if you are dining in. Service was fast. It's not the cleanest Culver's I've been to. My mushroom and Swiss double burger is a bit greasy (or juicy) - see pic. Fries were good.

The custards and the shakes are the main attraction. Rest of the food is good standard fare. But you come for the custard, which is worth the trip already. Place tends to be a bit busy and noisy, and we noticed a majority of patrons were there for takeout rather than dine-in.

I’ll be honest I was weary why of all the places I offered to treat my father for good birthday meal he would choose Culver’s. I’m glad he did one it was so much cheaper per person in lieu of what I would have had to pay at places like Applebees or chilis (his other options) The food is absolutely freaking mind blowing it’s great quality the quality of food has far outpaced the prices of our selections talking about underselling a product. I had a mushroom Swiss combo but I opted to use Rhy bread and added bacon to the sandwich. Fries were great but the sandwich omg the flavor..I can’t even describe it. On point on point on point. Very clean fast food restaurant. Super great customer service hands down from walking in the door to paying for my food and walking out with what we ordered flawless execution. Between myself my dad and mother only 40 bucks drinks included totally worth it.

I just ordered a double deluxe basket, and I asked for ranch and the person that was on the headset didn’t comprehend that. Gave me barbecue instead, which doesn’t correlate or rhyme with ranch? Could also be the person packing food as fault. I was informed if it wasn’t mentioned on the receipt and I stated that I mentioned it in the drive through. But the nice lady that was delivering the orders, African American lady, with braids, with a pretty smile That’s bright, with piercings. She was so sweet and helpful! I asked her if it was OK to switch it out and at ease, she was very apologetic and I reassured her that it wasn’t her fault and I kindly appreciate it! Definitely so sweet and great with customer service! Definitely deserve some type of reward for that Situationship. I didn’t catch her name, but I’m sure someone knows or will see this review and get back to her! I hope so, and definitely deserve a raise!

The food is good but it seems like there is change in ownership. Not nearly as good as it used to be. The cook does not get the oil hot enough and the result is VERY greasy food. This location is not the same.

Went to this Culver's to get dinner and ended up with cold food. They initially forgot my sandwich, which sat out longer than the rest of our food. It being gluten free, my bun was soggy, meat was cold, no sauce. The fries were over cooked and salty. The girl bagging the food looked annoyed and even disappeared for a while. Definitely will not be back to this location.

The pizza was so good! You could tell all of the ingredients were fresh. The pizza sauce was very flavorful. The owners came to our table to meet us and then checked back to make sure we liked our food.

We were recently at Coach's to try the Toscana Pizza and after a lengthy wait we received our pizza. First issue was the lack of toppings ordered. we ordered half of the 20" pizza with meat @ a whopping $7.00 for the meat and $4.00 for half veggies. Not only were the toppings expensive but very very lacking. We had ordered with onion and never tasted the onion at all and only saw a piece of it on the entire pizza, even the cheese was lacking. The pizza taste itself was mediocre BUT for $38.99 you would expect a lot more. We asked the waiter if our bill was correct and even he questioned it and went and asked the owners or whoever was making pizzas at the time and they confirmed it was correct, they never came to our table to ask about the issues we had with the pizza, to me that shows they know what they put on the pizzas and didn't want to be confronted. In reality that pizza cost about $3.00 to make or less. but to charge as much as they do we won't be back even when they re- open at the new name.

We had Toscana for pizza night a few weeks ago. It was a little confusing when we went to the location that was formally online, but with the help from the doc at the hearing aid place next door, we were directed to Coach's. The menu was limited at that time due to the transition, but the pizza was some of the best that we have eaten around the Michiana area. The trek was well worth our time!

FINALLY, a new pizza place in South Bend! Recently opened inside Coach's Sports Bar, Toscana Pizzeria is owned by a couple from Chicago. The recipe is definitely distinctly different (better) than what you'll find elsewhere in South Bend (all pizzarias around here use the Bruno's original recipe). With fresh and quality ingredients in their pizza, and thin, light crusts, Toscana Pizzeria is a sure bet if you're itching to have something new in the pizza department in South Bend.

They are under new ownership and still trying to get up and going but the service was great and the food good. We got the garlic bread which was a little over done on the crust (they offered multiple times to get us another but we refused since we ate it anyways) but we still enjoyed it as well as pizza, it was crisp and hot, and delicious. I also got the house salad with Italian dressing and it was amazing! We will definitely be back and wish them the best as they get things up and running.

BEST FOOD EVER. Chicken Alfredo is made from scratch and love and tastes like it. Chicken is smoked and adds so much flavor. Pizza is AMAZING! My personal veggie pizza was the most flavorful pizza I've had in a long time. I cannot wait to come back!

We found this place on Yelp almost by accident. It was a little tough to find. It is inside an Irish pub. It was worth the hunt! We started with the breadsticks and finished with a supreme pizza minus the green olives. Let me start with that EVERYTHING is made from scratch. The breadsticks were light and fluffy on the inside with a light crunch on the outside. The marinara is absolutely delicious. They offer a pizza with the marinara. If we would have had it prior to ordering we would have gotten it. The pizza was incredible. The sausage and pepperoni are from Chicago. That's all that needs to be said about that. The thin crust is delicious. The cheese is from Fon Du Lac Wisconsin. The cheese was browned to perfection. We met the owner. She was very welcoming and pleasant. The environment is inviting with lots of TVs and games to play while you wait. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

We love this hole in the wall place. This is our second time here. We came 2 years ago and decided to come back cause the food and atmosphere is amazing before a ND game. We will be back in 2 years. Best burger by far.

This is truly one of my favorite hidden gems in South Bend. Anytime I have friends in town, I have to take them here. They have some of the best burgers in town. You can always count on a game to be on the tv and the beer to be ice cold. I highly recommend going in on a Tuesday and ordering the Becky burger. You won’t be disappointed!!

A small neighborhood bar and grill. We sat at the bar. Got into some fun conversations with the locals. We had a beer and a meal. The food was good, typical bar and grill food. But I had to try the Hungarian gulyas. It was big pieces of potatoes, meat( i think chuck roast), in paprika forward broth. It came with rye bread, to soak up the broth. It was good, and I didn't really know what to expect. My wife had a burger and fries. In a post covid world, it's hard to find a restaurant that's open late. Their grill of open late. It was what we needed as we were on the road until late.

We stopped by on our way through. The atmosphere was great and the food did NOT disappoint. I would come back again just for the onion rings alone. Waitress was cute as a button. 10/10 would stop here again!😊

The View I experienced was on the walk across the bridge, to this dive-y corner bar, seeing the "falls" lit up green prior to St. Paddy's. Not much of a view once there, of course it was evening, so who knows! There didn't appear to be any outdoor seating. I sat at the bar, where my next view was Twister on TV, which is A-OK with me! No NA beer option was pretty disappointing, but apparently par for the course in South Bend. After what seemed like an awfully long wait for a burger, considering the size of the crowd, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Homicide Burger, especially for the price! Nice spiciness from the jalapenos (canned, not fresh though) and pepper jack cheese with the smokiness of the bacon doin' it's thing. The fries were a perfect compliment; nice and crispy, not soggy. If I find myself in SB in the mood for a walk over the water, it would be worth another stop.

I love it here, we go often. Amazing food, amazing people. Absolutely beautiful and such a homey place. Super welcoming, kid friendly. If I lived closer I’d be there everyday if I could! Definitely recommend!!

Well, the first thing I'll say is... VIVA Mexico! Don't make this place a stop as a detour, make it a destination. No kidding; if you're near Chicago coming from the East, this is a stop in South Bend. I will dispense with any Guy Fieri catchphrases and just say it straight. Excellent. Authentic. Tasty (sabroso!). Real. Mexican. Food. Full stop. We travel a lot and get sick of fast food, so we look for local places that worth a stop; the hidden gems Triple D misses (Guy, you better be reading this and inviting me when you go there). Mexican is simple but can be easily messed up. What's the difference... the meat and how you season it. The tacos carne asada were bomb... and a heaping portion of meat, no skimping for $3/taco. It was lip-smacking yummy... why? Because the meat was marinaded and then seasoned properly. Winner dish. Same with my 15-year-old daughter's pernil burrito/taco in a flour tortilla. She said, "I ordered one taco and there was so much flavor." House-made guacamole that was mixed not two minutes before I ordered it. Excellent salsas... a red, hot one from chile de arbol but not just heat for the sake of heat, flavor. And a green tomatillo y avocado salsa. Both house-made with love. Great job Kevin & Adriana, owners/managers + Jeanette, front of house. We will be back and will be hungry.

I'm working in the area and decided to try the restaurants in the area this week. This was my first stop and I'd say I'm very happy with it. The food was good. Service was great and my waitress was very helpful and fast. I had the carnitas platter and the meat was tender and the portions were good for me!! Ill be back to try other items on the menu!

Food is ALWAYS delicious and service is ALWAYS Amazing! Authentic street tacos, and Menudo WITH Pata EVERYDAY!!! Family owned and operated thru Generations!

Portions are HUGE!!! Quality on point and service friendly. Farmers skillet will be a repeat, hash browns crispy even under all that goodness. Biscuits and gravy didn’t disappoint and the pancake fluffy and flavorful!

The most difficult thing when you enter this place is..."what do I get?!" Bring friends, order several dishes and enjoy! I'd recommend: -Farmer's Skillet -Corned Beef Hash Omelette -Rueben -Patty Melt -and whatever you do...go for them onion rings! Them crispy boys are worth going there for themselves!

The staff here is always friendly. Food is always good. I've been eating here for several years. Last weekend I ordered a Patty melt with a fried egg on it. Delicious. I also tried the onion rings for the first time. Excellent! I could only eat half of what was on the plate, so I had another great meal at home.

It's a cute place with various collectables displayed everywhere. The food was good.... typical diner fare.... omelets, hash browns, French toast, burgers and sandwiches. Our waitress was nice and efficient, came around a couple times to check on us after she brought our food. The place was packed on a Tuesday morning, so I think that says a lot!

Amazing selection of tea, hot sauce, and jam. The atmosphere reminds me of sitting down to breakfast with family. The menu has wonderful variety and really inexpensive. I honestly can't wait to take more of my family there!!!

Look at this picture!!!! Not like it was when they first opened. Fell off. $51 for a little Chicago pepperoni pizza and a large. No flavor and the crust is hard. My boy put me on to them when they first came out and now I'm going to say that Barnaby's has the best pizza around south bend. Not worth the money at all. I'm pissed to be honest. I'd rather stay home and make my own or Jack's frozen pizza. I don't leave reviews normally but that cost for the quality blew me

Sometimes you get lucky when you stop at a truck stop for a log book reset. Good reviews led me across the street to find out. Kid behind the counter is a star. He takes care of customers, even carrying orders out to cars and bussin hard all the while taking orders. I'm a pizza snob and while the dough is too thin for me and a bit crunchy on the crust (I prefer a softer doughy crust and with a good cook on the bottom) the flavor was excellent nonetheless. The pizzas are made with care and loaded with toppings and even too much cheese, if there is such a thing. The sausage crumble is fantastic. It's the only way sausage should ever go on pizza. I added to Sriracha sauce on top to make it perfect. Thanks. Suggestions, get a new banging menu and stay open late on Fridays. It's the busiest time of the week for pizza...

The pizza was great! Maybe a little heavy on the sauce. However I suggest skipping the cheesy garlic bread. I anticipate garlic cheesy bread being just that,….BREAD! What I got was a medium garlic cheese pizza that was too greasy, too cheesy and cut into sections that were too large to call a breadstick. Again, you shouldn’t consider them bread at all because it’s not bread, it’s a pizza crust. Not to mention that the cheesy garlic bread cost more than my small pizza. Make that make sense? What happened to good old French loaf style cheese bread? 2 small pizzas(10.40) and one medium order of garlic cheese bread (15.60) because you can’t order anything smaller. Total bill 46.00! Pizza was delicious and perfectly made. Toppings were ample, perfect cheese balance. The cost wouldn’t have been as outrageous had the cheese bread been as perfect as the pizza. C’mon Chivos, is bread that much to request? Very disappointed.

I think their description of the business is totally false as they say it’s nothing fancy just a regular takeout pizza place. I totally disagree. This is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. If you’ve never been here, you have to check this place out it is epic!

Waka Dog, smelling like bacon salvation and bad decisions. I had the worst case of the munchies I’ve had all year but I was lucid and on a mission for something wrapped in bacon that could fix my mood and my cholesterol. Inside is cheerful chaos. Stainless counters, yellow walls, Lucille Ball on one TV, NCIS on the other. The walls are covered in kid art, sports stuff, and random “thoughtful gifts” like five dollar perfume bottles and Dum Dums with a sign that apologizes for what people say when they’re hungry. It’s somewhere between a college hangout and a cholesterol chapel. I ordered the two dog special (11.99) with a Chicago and a Sonoran, added a smash burger (9), a steak taco (3), a cup of Mexican alphabet soup (3), and a Mexican Coke (3). The waitress was friendly and quick, and when my Coke was gone, she brought a fountain refill on the house. The Sonoran dog was the star. All beef, wrapped in bacon and buried under pinto beans, pico, queso fresco, and sour cream. Salty, spicy, messy, perfect. The Chicago dog was all discipline and balance, the burger was hot and polite, the taco had punch, and the fries hit that crisp sweet spot without me even having to ask. By the time I finished, my table looked like a crime scene and my hunger had turned into something close to peace. Waka Dog is the kind of place where college kids, construction guys, and the chronically hungry all worship the same deep fryer. I came in starving and left full, greasy, and oddly enlightened. Waka waka waka, baby. Just do it and bring an appetite.

Huge shoutout to my coworkers for recommending Waka Dog—it did not disappoint! I got the street tacos and fries with the works (definitely worth the upgrade). Everything was super flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. Plus, it’s so close by which makes it even more tempting. Can’t wait to come back and try more off the menu!

The best place in town to grab a hot dog! I got the two dog special, and both of the dogs were delicious. The staff was extremely nice and attentive!

In town on business and looking for a tasty hot dog place .... Waka Dog Cafe did not disappoint ... delicious dogs to say the least ... fries were yummy too ... had the 2 dog special which included a soft drink, all for a little over $10 ... service was awesome as well ... Noel is extremely friendly and very helpful ... it was my 1st time there and Noel helped me decide what to order, explaining in detail the many different dog choices.... ended up with the coney dog and the other my own creation ... and my wait time for my take out was less than 5 minutes ... we even got into a discussion about jeep wranglers, which has always been my personal choice ... Thank you Noel and Waka Dog Cafe ... all around great experience 4 me .... food, staff, atmosphere AWESOME ... cya next time I am in town ... 😀

It was game day when we went so they were busy,the woman who took our order was so very nice,she added a side of Mac and cheese on the house for my daughter,the food was wonderful, the best hotdogs since had since I've moved to Indiana from Chicago, its small inside,but their food is absolutely great. We decided to try this place cause we saw it on TikTok,and it did not disappoint, 10/10 I'm telling everyone!!!

I got a brisket cheese wrap! It was falling apart not staying together. The brisket had no taste to it. The fries werent salted. They were really tough. I was recommended this restaurant by family because they liked it. I thought it really wasn’t that good as they said it was. This is by far the worst brisket I’ve ever had. I would 110% not recommend this item on the menu.

This place had phenomenal food and service and was packed when we went! You can tell it's a favorite with locals and I'm glad we found it while traveling! The Gypsy Skillet was amazing and the Belgian waffle with strawberries was to die for.

It's what you'd expect at a down home breakfast place. I got the ham, cheese and eggs croissant with hash browns. Very pleased and I'd order it again. Large place with lots of seating (booths and tables) and lots of parking. We thought it was a bit pricy.... $30 before tip for 2 breakfasts...

Finding a good breakfast spot can be tough these days, especially with so many overly trendy options around town. Sometimes you just want quality diner-style food, and Top Notch is exactly that. The food was excellent—seasoned so well that I didn’t even feel the need to reach for the salt, which almost never happens at breakfast places. Portions were generous, and everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. Service was truly standout. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name) was amazing. You could tell she’s experienced and genuinely cares about creating a positive experience. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the whole staff made sure we felt welcomed and appreciated. Top Notch is one of those places that reminds you how great a classic breakfast spot can be, and it’s easily one of our go-to choices in the area.

Just visited with my son. Loved that you pay for the cup, then fill it up. Unlike other places that weigh the cup when you are done and charge a crazy amount. The ice cream was delicious and there was plenty of toppings to choose from. We aren't from the area, but if back again will definitely visit!

First visit, not busy. One attendant was polite and helpful. Too many individual signs...one big one would have been less confusing. Tasted great. We had a waffle cone, a shake and a frozen yogurt for just under $12.

This place is bright, friendly, not over priced, and has a huge variety of flavors and toppings. I appreciate they had a non-dairy option. It’s super fun to make your own concoction using their variety of toppings!

Would give zero stars if I could. I've been a loyal customer through the past few management switches, and this one is by far the worst team of them all. I drive across town and get A SINGLE sample cup after what seems like begging for it. You expect me to pay for your product but won't let me try more than one flavor? Trash. Edited to add: and now you want me to "reword" my review after not solving a single part of the problem and placing the blame on me, rather than your incompetent staff? Definitely not happening. I stand by what I said when I said this is the worst management team BY FAR.

Great Froyo with a ton of customization options. Love the rotating flavors, and love the price. A bowl here is roughly half the price of a blizzard.

This little yogurt shop did not disappoint when we made a "snack stop" in South Bend on our way to Chicago. They had a great selection of nuts, fruit, candies, etc. to add to your yogurt. They have several small tables and about 16 or so chairs + barstools inside. Besides, I always prefer to support the local establishments over large chains. (Travelers - restroom available.)

Very clean. The owner was always cleaning up. It was affordable, they don't weigh the cups. We will return soon.

Awful. Food tastes fine, but they were out of white and brown rice, no guac, no pico, no ice. Employees didn’t seem in a hurry to make more of anything. Chip bag barely had any chips in it. Also, tables were filthy. Never coming back to this location.

The prices have really gotten crazy here over the years, but the quantity and quality of food seems to have gone in the opposite direction. For just my daughter and I to get some hard tacos, a burrito bowl, and a couple of cokes, it came out to over 30 bucks. I could have taken her to a sit down authentic place with better food and portions for less than what we spent here. I hadn't been to a Chipotle in a while and thought it would be fun to take her, but we both agreed this was a huge disappointment. I think we're done with this chain.

Not sure what happened, but this is the worst chipotle in the area now. Bathrooms are disgusting. No toilet paper, no paper towel. Burrito was rolled like a small sleeping bag (if you know, you know). Trash is full, tables are dirty...... Edit: 3/2/23 - Went there again to see if anything has changed, nope. This time the manager was saying they were going to close at 8pm because she wasn’t gonna be there all night and if she had to be there too late, she was calling out tomorrow. All this was said to other coworkers in front of guests. The food prep area was disgusting. It needed a good wipe down. The beans were pretty much plaster. I’ll likely just never eat at this one again. Maybe none in this area.

Just came in earlier today, and I’m eating my bowl as we speak. Unfortunately, the rice is not fully cooked. The texture is like it cooked for maybe 5 minutes. It’s just soft enough that you can’t immediately realize it’s hard by biting into it. As I’ve continued chewing the rice I noticed the pieces are chewy.

Be prepared for them being completely out of rice and never having meats ready. By 6 or 7 PM they are already out of half the basic items. Management needs to be changed here. General manager and district manager need to be re evaluated here.

It’s dinner rush, how do you run out of food? Waited 20mins to order. The whole place was so dirty. The Gauc had oxidized and was looking real brown, is that fresh? Ran out of steak and veggies at dinner time? Won’t eat here again.

Ordered a bowl, chips, and the additives online and had it delivered to me. It was completely wrong and I had a few chips in the bag all smashed. I then went into the store to have it re made and the workers were so disrespectful and kept asking me what’s wrong with it with attitude. She then proceeded to take the bag from me, remade the bowl after I asked, crumbled the chips and threw away my queso and walked off. I then asked for my side of chips new because they were smashed and only few, and the queso she threw away.

KIND BUSINESS ALERT Amber is fantastic. Although she didn't wait on me, Rachel was also very nice. This is a Polish buffet where you order off a menu and are charged accordingly. There are many size options to choose from. There are also many entrees to choose from. Strawberry pie was really good. Great for dining alone or in a group. The atmosphere is kind of plain. Nothing Polish I the ambiance. Some food items were great, some good, some average. It's the pie that was the best. They do a large carry-out business as well. This is a real find.

Ordered through DineIn. Got the family meal deal. Chicken, potatoes, green beans, noodles, and rolls. Everything was very bland and not seasoned. Chicken was the best part, but even then, I've had better from a grocery store. Not awful food, but definitely not the best.

The skillet is back!. We were delighted to see the classic dishes prepared with care. The wait staff is as friendly and attentive as ever. They no longer have the buffet but they do have an all you can eat option. However, polish dinner itself is a huge portion and great bang for the buck!

The atmosphere is dirty and has nothing has been updated in probably 20 years or more. The last update was when the original owner added the other side to it but didn’t last and that’s been more than 20 years ago close to 30 they have had problems with roaches, excessive roaches for years. Sometimes the food is good but it’s truckstop diner style food. Everything is greasy.

We ordered last from this location everything was OK til I bit into my second bacon cheeseburger that was full of some chics hair. If I ordered a burger please leave the hair off my sandwich which leads me to believe they don't practice safety habits when it comes to cleanliness. I'll probably let my peeps at the health department look into this bullshit sry not sry. Shouldn't put hair in people's food period

First time eating at a Five Guys. Was great all around!! If I had anything negative it would be that the dining room area needed cleaned.

I used to dine at their Grape Road location a lot whenever taking a trip to UP Mall. The Eddy Street Commons location is similar in quality and professionalism. I still prefer the Grape Road location over this one only because there were a few times when their computer system was down. I don’t really fault them for that, though. Five Guys is still my go-to burger no matter the location.

Above average 👍 1 bacon burger, 1 bacon cheeseburger, 2 regular fries, and to regular shakes came to $43.01. So, imo, the price was a bit high but the food was delicious. Recommended

I came thru the drive thru. Apparently the girl taking my order forgot to send it so when I finally did get it(about 8 min later) the slender black woman working the drive thru gave me a larger order of mac and cheese and a brownie and apologized. I wasnt upset. Having worked in food service for years I know shit happens. However with customer service at an all time low nationwide lately I gotta say that woman rocks!!!! She totally knows good customer service and im so impressed with how she handled it! I thank you profusely! I wish I had thought to ask her name cuz id publicly thank her!!! Ridiculously long wait in drive thru. At least 15 minutes. Wow. I've never had this happen at a chicfilet. Seems to happen here a lot. Then when the order was brought to us it was just handed to us no acknowledgment of how long we had to wait or anything. So yeah I wouldn't go here. They weren't even busy when we went

Amazed there was no line inside despite the drive thru wrapping around the building. Counter person to my order speedily. All the food was hot and fresh, especially the waffle fries (my favorite). Smelled great when I got out to my car!

I did a pick up order and when I got to work noticed a bug in my food Ii called and spoke to the manager Jason who apologized and told me to come back and he would replace my whole order I asked him if he needed to write my name down or anything he said no just left them know I talked to Jason ok cool I called before I came back today and explained what happened the person on the phone said ok just come for me to get there in line order them for this big hairy guy to come to my vehicle saying it was to big of a order that he wasn’t going to accommodate me until he talked to Jason which they should’ve said that over the phone since I had just called! They wasted my time and money

There is no drive-through menu before you order. If you aren't familiar with their offerings, it can be frustrating. Thankfully, their employees are probably the most helpful and friendly of all fast food restaurants.

It doesn't matter how busy Chick-fil-a is, the are so efficient, it doesn't take long to get your food. The food is very consistent in quality, it doesn't matter what store you go to.

Pleasantly surprised by the cobb salad, had a good time trying the pretzel cheddar chicken sandwich. And the classic chicken sandwich is just good quality for the price. If you don't like chicken just don't come here but if you enjoy chicken you're damned if you don't

This place can get incredibly busy in the afternoons on the weekdays, it’s a great lunch spot. Service is always great, and they really get the food out quickly, you won’t wait longer than 10 minutes for most items, if you even have to wait that long. I usually get the jr gyro combo, and it’s pretty good. Best place to grab a gyro in south bend.

We absolutely love T. Allen's staff, service and food! I always use the drive thru and our order has always been correct. They get that line of cars through really quick. The staff at the drive thru is genuinely happy and caring. The food is wonderful!!!

Went to gyros for some burgers over the weekend. Had the Big Baby burger and the 1/4 lb burger and they were both delicious. The buns were nice and soft, the Patties were perfectly cooked and hot. The fries and onion rings are always good. They have other food options on their menu that are delicious as well. Best gyros in town!

I love Chicago hot dogs, and gyros. I rarely eat them because they’re hard to find, where I live in Wisconsin. When I can find them, like a Portillo’s they are way overpriced, defeating the whole purpose of a Chicago hot dog. I found this place by accident, passing through Indiana. OMG. I wish we had something like this near me. Great variety on the menu, delicious food and very reasonable prices. Love it.

Love getting take out from T Allens. Chicken gyro plate when you're feeling health conscious and regular with an extra pita for the rest of the time! Don't want gyros? Excellent burgers, dogs and good ribs as well. Always worth it and left overs for lunch the next day, too!

If I could give negative stars I would. I am ALLERGIC to pork. I asked for a cheeseburger and I’m emphasized no bacon. I was in the drive thru on my lunch break about to head back to work. I open my food to go eat and there is bacon on my cheeseburger. I was so upset and did not have time to turn around. I tried to call multiple times to speak to a manager, but I kept getting an automated voice saying someone is on the phone and try again later. I was not provided a receipt to go in after work for at least a new sandwich. I will not be back.

This restaurant is filthy and sticky. The bathroom stall fell on top of us and on top of that we found a BUG with a BUG WING in our drink. Workers didn’t know how to respond, so all they did was give us ANOTHER bug infested drink. Horrible Experience and service. Smells like mold, with it being clearly visible.

Ordered mobile take out. They were supposed to wait til I arrived to get food ready. They refused to remake the order. Meals were cold. Drinks and frostys were warm. Dirty restaurant. No ketchup packets or napkins in the lobby. They gave me 2 at the counter for 2 meals n 2 frostys

Ordered online, when I got there I asked for two bags of chips for my taco salad, and sauce for the nuggets. Was told to pull forward and they would bring me my food. We waited for a while, went back to window. They had tried to give it to someone else. So finally got food, they forgot the frosty, gave us a large one instead for the wait. We went home, the salad looked rough but they forgot the burger, the chips where stale. So called to let them know about the burger and chips. Asked for another bag, and went on our way. Chips are from Aug, expired the first week, second bag was also expired. Disappointing to say the least. Was really in the mood for a taco salad.

Food was gross and just thrown together. I ordered a Asiago sandwich add pickles, onion and mayo with no tomato. I got a whole different sandwich with the world's biggest tomato on it. I ordered a grilled chicken wrapped and I basically had to build it myself. Then I ordered sauce for my fries and got nothing. The only thing they got right was the orange frosty. And when I called it was like she expected it to be wrong. Saying "oh I know who made it" Never again

Worst fast food experience we’ve ever had. Placed a mobile order and waited a half hour before waiting in a line to ask at the counter. It turns out they had our order sitting behind the fryer that whole time. It was missing several items, and we were given the wrong size for other items. And of course, everything was cold. It was clear from all the other customer interactions during our visit that this location is completely non functional.

I have to say the services here is very good ! Tacos very good, taquitos very good. Now the down side...my dinner came with rice and beans which were all but stone cold..not bad tasting just cold. The thing I wanted most was a good tamale so I ordered the cheese and jalipeno. I cut it open to find what looked like and felt like (spongy) orange tofu. I asked the lovely waitress..what is this? She said that's the cheese. Hmmmmm

I'm originally from Chicago, I've been living in Michigan for a year now. My family and I were in South Bend this month for work purposes. Hands down this is the best most authentic Mexican food I've had in a year! This restaurant is now on my top five for Mexican food! It beats a lot of restaurants in Chicago in quality and taste!! The only thing I probably won't ever recommend in any restaurant would be the tamales but we tried them here and they were pretty good. Everything else in the menu I definitely recommend! We ate from here probably 3x a week during our stay from pick up to dine in lunch or dinner our experience was always great! Friendly and polite staff!!!

I drive past here all the time and never got up the courage to stop. It looks a bit dingy on the outside but it's actually quite nice on the inside. I ordered three tacos to go, they were $2 each. I liked that they included the limes without having to ask for them. The tacos, were great, flavor was good, plenty of filling and the red sauce was tasty.

Placed order 24 hours ago for pickup today. Arrived on time and my order was not ready. Employee explained she was working alone and would get to it when she had time. These orders are for customer appts that’s why it’s important to keep my orders placed timely and I gave plenty of notice and paid ahead of time- this is why I often choose other subs shops. JJ customer service has really been failing

The store manager is rude to her employees and lazy, expects everyone to do everything for her while treating her employees rudely. How is drive thru supposed to run the entire store, why couldn't the store manager make my food when she and drive thru were the only employees running the floor and she had no one in the store. Why is she so rude to autistic ppl who have a hard time ordering I won't be coming back here again while she is in charge of the store

Jimmy John’s is one of my favorite places to go because I can order exactly what I want to fit my food allergies, especially while traveling. I placed an online order for this Jimmy John’s for a wrap and made it an unwich then ordered a couple other sandwiches. I picked it up from the store and didn’t look to see if the order was correct until about 30 minutes away. Unfortunately they did not make the wrap an unwich. I called to see if I could have a refund, and the manager told me that they couldn’t. They said that they only way they could refund me was to give me a credit to their specific location. Due to traveling and not living in the area there’s no way that could work. As well, I was all ready on the toll road traveling, so I couldn’t just turn around to order another wrap. I have had other Jimmy John’s refund me for one item before, so I am surprised they couldn’t do that for me.

Ordered online today for delivery. Delivery came at a good time, but order was wrong. I ordered the Cajun kickin wrap and it came on their regular bread and totally wrong. It was missing toppings and had mustard on it which wasn't what is supposed to be on it. I don't like mustard either. Very disappointed. I called the store and the manager said sorry I can credit your account , but can't bring the right order since I have no delivery drivers for the night. I told her ok I may have to start ordering from somewhere else. She then said ok have a good day. Still left hungry. Totally recommend Firehouse instead.

Absolutely horrible experience. Just went through the drive through and was greeted by the most rude behaving employee. He said he was busy and for us to wait in the most unwelcoming tone I’ve heard. I asked for light Dijon on my sandwich and they LOADED IT ON. Same with the Mayo. I had to use over 8 napkins to wipe the insane amount of condiments off. They cannot listen and lazily slapped my sandwich together. The bread was incredibly hard, something that I have NEVER known Jimmy johns for. I will NEVER visit this location ever again. Disappointment. Refund would be appreciated for this horrible experience.

Only my second time dining here and both times I had a wonderful experience. The lobby is calm and quiet which i like. My server today was Jodie who was extremely friendly and fun. I came in already hangry but she had me smiling and laughing in seconds. Not to mention how delicious the food is! I feel i like I barely make a dent in my plate before im full and it’s always sososo good! Fazoli’s has quickly become my new favorite food joint in Mishawaka!

Walked in for a last minute quick meal. The lady at the front counter was super friendly! Food was out to us in less than 5 minutes even though they were being slammed with online orders all day! Also was super quiet and relaxing to sit down and eat! We will definitely be back if we are ever passing through again!

My friends and I love coming to fazolis for lunch because it is fast, delicious, and affordable. Even though we already love fazolis, Jodie makes our experience 10x better. We had only met and talked to her one time and she remembered us the second time we came in. She feels like a warm hug! She is so kind and makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable for us.

Stopped in for a quick lunch before a college visit. We were greeted with a smile by Jodie and her co-worker and had a good conversation about high school football (I noticed the Marian football schedule hanging up)! Jodie always brings the positive energy and attitude when we come in!

Crust was good and pizza was ready on time but the toppings were all mixed up. We let the kids each pick their toppings. Both of the pizzas were wrong. Toppings were mixed up. We had to pick apart the toppings to fix it. We won’t order from here again. I know mistakes happen but, Getting all 4 sets of toppings wrong is not ok.

Horrible service!!!I ordered delivery for my son and husband. Driver just left it on my flower pot didn’t even knock. By the time I got home it was covered in ants. Went down to get remade got no apology just we will try harder next time. To tell you the truth there probably won’t be a next time.

Went in for lunch. Asked for extra garlic on the Parmesan bites. The guy was incredibly about it. I have been to several locations and have always requested it and never had a problem, I’m always told sure with a smile on their face. He did it but not without acting like it was a huge inconvenience for him and acting like a child about it. People like that have no place in customer service. Treating customers like that is unacceptable.

Ordered online, eventually drove to the store because it was being prepped but not actually being made. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes. While in the store, received an email saying my order was cancelled. Spoke with the same employee about the order being cancelled, and she said “I was giving you false hope”. No food was ever received and 40 minutes of my time was wasted.

This is the 2nd time my order got cancelled, I ordered 3 lavacakes for delivery that's it, and it was 30-15 minutes before close, but they canceled it mid preparation and I never received my refund.

I tried calling them to place an order so I can pick it up on my way back home as I was driving. They answered the call but disconnected instantly. This happened a couple of times. I arrive at the store to see the person scrolling on phone. Not hygienic

Domino's is Domino's. It tastes better if your real hungry. Just not my favorite. I'll almost go anywhere else. Just my opinion.

My wife and I used to go Marco's on Milburn in Mishawaka when we lived nearby. It was ALWAYS GOOD. Christmas Eve has been a pizza tradition for years. This year, we found Marco's on SR 933. IT WAS GREAT! The people were very friendly and everyone was in a cheerful mood. I am sure they would have liked to be with their family, but they made us feel welcome and appreciated. The prices are reasonable, and The Works was very good! I had an order of wings that Great! This is a small store front, very cozy. We will be back!

The food at this location is amazing! The only thing better is the service I received from.the general manager and his team! If you haven't tried Marcos yet you're missing out! Go Irish!

Ordered pizza for my family for lunch, which we never do. But kids were off for summer break, so we celebrated! Glad we did! Delicious & made within 20 minutes! Thanks!

General Manager Katie was RUDE and very unprofessional. I am on break I only ordered fries and ice cream cone with Carmel added in the cup they forgot to add it. And asked me to pull up for something so simple. I asked them to just give it to me it’s right there. They insisted that I pull up. Then bring me out a drop of Carmel. I went inside and asked for what I paid for and she says we don’t give out stuff for free. Very rude, very unprofessional, and very nasty attitude

My husband, my kids and I are doing yard work today, and I wanted to get something cheap and fast for the kids, since they're doing such a great job on the yard. I went to the McDonald's on 933, parked in the number for mobile order pickup spot. All of a sudden like a minute later, their mobile order sign falls on my car. One of "managers" came out to tak pictures, but proceeded to tell me they were looking on the cameras bcuz I pushed it over. Thanks goodness I was on the 📱 with dispatch(which is recorded and she notated) that he said that I did this. Photos show, that whatever employee did it, decided to put a brick UNDER the base of the sign(which didn't have any sand no nothing in the base), so the wind blew it over on my car. I got a refund bcuz my food would have been cold by the time I got home. I sat there for a while for the police to show, since the employee wants to lie on me, police said it would be taken care of and the manager over the store would come out and talk to me. Which she did not. I told the police to go ahead n go, bcuz they even said she was gonna come out and talk to me. Waited about 20more mins, called non emergency to have someone come back out so I didn't have to go back into that establishment where they have empathy for employees that LIE. Finally another 15mins pass. Military cop came, got her, he didnt help, thankfully another county officer came to help, bcuz I was calm the whole time n the military office decided to get loud with me for absolutely no reason. I told the county officer that al I wanted was an apology, and for some type of disciplinary action would be taken, but the manager said she would NOT do anything about th employee 🤷‍♀️ so now I'm going to get the transcripts from South Bend Police and will be submitting them to corporate. Why would you want a manager hiring or keeping employees who lie??? And ON DOCUMENTATION! She kept telling me that insurance would handle him ... What's insurance going to do? It's scratches! I wanted an apology NOT food or money and I was met with no empathy from anyone that interacted with me at that establishment. Yes, I got loud with the employee, but don't say I did something, when I was CLEARLY IN MY CAR WHEN IT HAPPENED!!! THANK GOD FOR SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS!!!!!!!! (and dispatch)

I don't typically bother leaving reviews when its a negative experience, just a rating. But this was just an awful experience. Possibly the worst restaurant within a mile of this location. It costs the same as everything else on the street (I know they don't control that at the location) but the quality is so inconsistent. Sometimes you'll get a 3/5 experience, but usually it's 1/5. It's a 2 if you physically go there but that's only because you can physically go back in and get the food right on the 2nd or 3rd attempt. I ordered a chicken with no mayo and a slice of cheese. The picture I've attached is the amount of mayo i scraped off of just the top bun, not including the mayo on the chicken patty itself. And they charged $1 for a cheese slice and I received no cheese. There's never a straw with the drink and maybe half the time you get the sauce you paid for. The food that arrived was cold and the ice in the drink had melted. And it didn't travel far to get here. I'm at work a 5 minute walk from the restaurant door. The delivery driver got to my door less than a minute after they gave him the food. Just absolutely ridiculous.

Horrible service, we use the app and every time we get there to pick our food up we are waiting anywhere from 10-20 minutes. The good was disgusting and thrown together, the fries were cold and we only live 2 minutes away. They did make sure I didn't get onions like I asked but they forgot the pickles, mustard and the cheese looked old and tasted disgusting. We used to love this McDonalds but they have gone down hill the last two years. Will definitely tell people to stay away until the service and food gets better. With there was a way I could give 0 stars...

I hate going to this location my order is always messed up. Not hard to check a order before you give it to a customer. I ordered nuggets with the new golden sauce. They give me 2 plastic small cups with lids. I hope its golden sauce barley any in there. Get your self together crew I know im not the only customer that feels that way!! Maybe I'll come back in a couple months maybe.

I’m hard of hearing. Went to get a McFlurry and the person on the intercom blurted out something that i couldn’t understand. When i asked what they said, they over enunciated with a snarky attitude. From that point on, no one in any window said anything to me, and the McFlurry i got was dripping down the side and was frankly disgusting. The employees shot me daggers while giving it to me. Hated this. Whoever owns this is apparently fine with the worst service. Would give 0 stars if i could.

I’ve had the worst experience here at this Dunkin’ Donuts. The men at this location are very rude and always ushering you to move forward when you don’t even know what you want to drink. If I were somebody who didn’t know anything about coffee, this would be a terrible first time experience. You feel so rushed every time at the window and when things aren’t made the way that you would like them too since you are the one paying and spending your own money on it, they get an attitude and pass off the conversation to the next manager, as if they’re incapable of having a conversation with you to get you what you want in the first place. Very immature energy coming from the cashier at the window. There is always a rush, and I am often left feeling like I’ve left with something that I don’t even like. I asked for a remake of a small coffee and they took forever to make it, leaving me to think that they’ve done something to my drink so now I’ve wasted money on a drink that I won’t be drinking. Highly do not recommend this location 0/10.. Also, lastly, I paid for toppings after asking specifically for them three times and still did not receive them after receiving attitude for asking for something that I want and I’m willingly paying for.

This place is a mess. Understaffed, poor service and often closes early. Look at the picture and tell me the employees there are washing their hands and following proper food handling procedures. Donuts I got today looked like they sat around in the heat until all the powdered sugar melted off. They're supposed to be white! And check out the bottom shelf. Gross. Avoid.

I go to this location quite regularly to get my large berry burst spark energy with extra light ice. They’re one of the few Dunkin’ Donuts that will actually do “less ice” And not give me less drink as well. The gentleman with the glasses that usually helps me in the drive through is always super sweet! Keep up the good work guys! 😊💜

a clearly not fresh sandwich, a cup smeared on the outside with chocolate sauce, and the nastiest hash browns i've ever seen. instead of acknowledging that they looked like a nasty pile of brown matter in a bag, the counter person offered a replacement, saying they just came out. dear reader, the hash browns looked precisely the same. the nastiest, floppiest, mushiest pile of potato refuse ever smashed into a bag. truly disgusting. ate one and threw the rest out.

Stopped in to get a dozen donuts for a business meeting with a customer. Was handed a box that was prepackaged and went on my way not thinking I’d have to check it. Arrived at my customer to discover there were only 10 donuts in the box. This really made me look foolish. Following my visit I went back to inform Dunkin of their error and to receive a refund on the 2 donuts. The manager refused to refund me and only offered the 2 missing donuts. I don’t eat donuts and found their unwillingness to go any further to correct the issue appalling. The manager would not even speak to me directly and forced the surprisingly pleasant cashier to relay the message. I will never be back and recommend people choose a different option.

They have difficulty keeping up with their orders, forcing even those who ordered in advance on their app to wait significant amounts of time. In addition, they won't answer their phone. It shouldn't take 30 minutes to get coffee and a donut when you order ahead.

Small and cluttered, restrooms are closed to public but not for COVID reasons. Drive thru was busy and brisk. Staff was nice.

Still my favorite fast food Spicy Chicken sandwich and the size for price is incredible. Such juicy, tender, crispy and spicy deliciousness wrapped up in a sandwich. I have a craving at least once a month, where I am searching out a Popeye's to get my fill.

I ordered online and went through the drive thru to pick up my food. I was told to park in the handicap parking spot and they would bring my food to me. I waited 15 minutes and no one came out with my food so I went inside. I asked what was going on with my food and my order was just sitting on the counter. When I got home (5min away) my food was cold.

Today, I ordered one sandwich, atleast 7 people after me received their order before me and 6 drive thru orders received their order before me. I was there for 25 minutes for 1 sandwich. It seemed like a whole new crew, I have never had this kind of service before. My chicken came right out of the fryer and slopped right on the bun. I had a saugy bun from the greace.

This location I think is the best at good customer service, pleasant people to come in contact with very helpful. Clean atmosphere & always has your order the way you want it the first time. Hardly any mistakes besides maybe not giving enough blackened ranch to people who like it lol

The service at this was average and the inside of the restaurant was not clean. I stood in line for 15 minutes for my order. The highlight of my experience was the chicken sandwich. I literally cried as I took my first bite. I rated my experience 3 stars.

Zero stars would suffice for this place, but that's not an option here. Employees don't even acknowledge the customers that come in. The employees treat delivery drivers like 3rd class citizens. I get if you're busy, that's one thing, but to not acknowledge someone for 15 minutes when the success of their restaurant relies on these food deliveries is asinine. Do better or go out of business.

There’s always a bunch of homeless folks congregating outside asking for money making it uncomfortable to enter! Then they’re inside using up the seating and cool air stinking up the place with all their backpacks and whatever the tables don’t get sanitized enough the food is just ok and there’s staff is not very friendly! I was there eating, noticed a delivery driver coming in with a heavy box and put it on the nearest counter she could reach as there was people in the line as well and the manager on duty was SO rude complaining the package wasn’t on the spot of counters she liked it to be. When really she could’ve been a helpful manager and walk 2 feet to assist instead of stand there doing absolutely nothing pointing her finger saying “ ah ah” as if the driver was a child. Some people really need to learn how to treat delivery drivers with more respect they do A LOT in one day and deal with A LOT of people.

I work third shift and typically order late at night/middle of the night. Ordered at 3:45am for dinner meal order and they “put it away” aka threw it away due to breakfast starting soon! I don’t care if it gets cold, if it’s made why would you throw it away? Now I have to talk to support and try getting a refund!

My food was messed up, and there was a hair in it. After already making the 20 min drive home, and the realization was made I called and the server said “unless you bring it back we can’t help you” very rude and disgusting.

Food is great that order once walk in. The menu is up on the wall so easy to see and order. They have 5 or more different type of flavors of churros to pick from and cooked fresh so warm once get them and there tacos are great with many different types of meats to pick from and different toppings can put on them. Some of the workers do not speak English so pointing what you want is ok and the other employee will tell them what you want if they do not understand so still quick to get your food fixed. My kids and I come here at least once a month as it is reasonably priced food. They have bottled pop or pop from the machine if dinning in and get free refills. They also have a food truck you can have at your special occasian(ask them about pricing). They have 2 TVs that have some sort of sport on or something else on and they also have music playing. There seats are kinda hard so sitting hanging out for long isn't inviting but a good family spot to dine in and enjoy family time.

If I could add the video of my tacos I would. The lady that made my tacos put so much hot sauce I litterly couldn’t pick them up. I don’t know if she’s too old to be making tacos or what but this lady sucked. It’s 12:46 pm September 2nd. I use to come here all the time this place sucks now. Rice is disgusting bland no flavor. Yummy burrito bowls! You can select your meat, rice, cheese, veggies, sauce, etc. They also have good churros. Good portion size for the price.

I used to go to the one on Lincolnway and quit going there because our order was always messed up and cold. It even came to the point where we found staples in our burrito bowl. I just recently started going to this one to give it another shot. I didn’t even know this one was here until a few weeks ago. The food and customer service has been amazing and I’ve had no problems with my orders! Thank you!

Cravings for Authentic Mexican food? This place is close to it, 'bout as close you can get. Torta bread could have been fresher, it was falling apart and lacked flavor/so bland. It's my go to spot for tamales. They are huge for the price! , moist and meat filling to maize ratio is fair, just wish the maize itself was seasoned. Steak burrito same (ratio steak : rice: veggies good) some places overload the tortilla with the rice, beans & veggies and just a scant of meat thrown into the burrito, not at this spot. Their salsa(they put it on the food, no side salsa cups included) and my own salt and pepper made the $44 bill edible. No napkins , You must ask for them. The Star at Puerto Vallarta is the burrito bowl, but again, Use your own seasonings.

This place is SO GOOD, I don’t know why I waited so long to try this place. Better AND more affordable than chipotle and they give you sooo much food like it’s crazy. The girls that work there are also super nice and this is definitely my new fave spot :))

According to the employees: they turn off their ovens at 7:30 pm, they lock their doors at 8:45 pm, they do not have to make any pizzas after 8 pm because, you know their oven is off, disrespect customers who walk in after 8 pm, are outright rude and change their stories every 5 seconds, they call the "owner" who "doesn't want to deal with anyone" and feel it is appropriate to act as if working their job shouldn't be expected of them. Supposedly, there is no manager, and everyone is the manager. They were told to make the pizza, and the kid in the back vocally refused to make the pizza, LOUDLY. I made a mistake in the app and ordered from the wrong store. Instead of getting upset the manager said don't worry about it, called over to the other store, and just made my order. It was the best customer service experience I've had from any little Caesars store! And it's for a church event so it made it that much better. Thank you so much!

Ordered Little Caesars for lunch, and this was my first time visiting one in South Bend, Indiana. The pizza was good, though I did notice it seemed a bit greasier than what I’m used to — could just be a regional difference in how they prepare it. Every location has its own touch. Overall, I enjoyed it and would definitely order from this place again.

I’ve tried to call several times for a fresh pizza. The staff will not answer phone calls past 8:30. It’s 9:07 and I’ve called a dozen times. Something about the work ethic in south bend is terrible.

Make it make sense??? You have bacon in your establishment but even though you no longer have the bacon pizza bites as an item you cannot make them? Its simple to add an unchanged for bacon🤷🏾‍♀️

I got pizza from here about a year ago, and I haven't been back since. I was going through my pictures and found these and decided to post, so I hope that their quality and service has improved since then. Normally I am a fan of Pizza Hut, and I've gotten better pizza from here before. I sent an email about this one, but I never got a response. Anyway, the service was at least friendly as it has been in the past. However, when you spend your hard earn money to order out only occasionally, it's too much to risk a bad pizza. This is only a snapshot of one night, but I doubt I will give this location another chance.

Ordered pizza on app. Came 30+ minutes after app said it was ready, and they hadn’t even started it. Not a busy time: no one else came in or out while time I stood waiting. Worker offered no apology, explanation, or refund. Won’t be back.

It's your local Pizza Hut that serves the Notre Dame students and area. Delivery only. BUT if you pick up you can't avoid seeing how dirty and unkempt the store is. I was taken aback as I observed the staff with dirty fingernails and entering the store from there vehicle and not washing their hands. Hopefully the owner will read this review and get his location cleaned up. Hopefully the students stay safe and visit this location before ordering. Pizza Hut can do better.

READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE ALL OTHERS! I ordered from this place because the other options were 1.5 to 2.5 hours wait for pickup. I thought it odd that it was the normal 35 minute wait. The reviews here show it having a high rating. Don’t believe them - they all must be fake. Because this is the WORST pizza I’ve ever eaten from a pizza restaurant. It looks like one of those pizzas that you buy from a grocery store and heat up yourself. And the two pizzas I bought were both cold upon pickup. And get this - I ordered two pizzas and the second one was in a bag. They fed me some line that it was better. But both pizzas were cold so I couldn’t even tell. This place is horrible. And you will be better off waiting 2 hours for a decent pie than order from here.

So, I have wanted to try this place for a very long time. Tonight was the night. My group of friends and I like to eat in. They have 2 picnic tables for seating but the price and taste are definitely worth any apprehension you may have regarding the seating. We liked the crust the most, but overall, I really have no criticisms of this restaurant. We had a 5 topping pizza and garlic bread with cheese. ENJOY!

Not a welcoming place to eat at. Carryout pretty much is all. Pizza is thin and cracker like. Payed for extra cheese which I did not get. It tastes just like a Jack's frozen pizza which are not bad for $5. I paid over $30 with tip. I do not recommend but the breadsticks were good.

This place was ok. The pizza itself took the hunger away but wasn’t spectacular. The toppings were scarce. The wings were a bit big for my liking. This place caters to their regulars. I told the girl it was our first time and she hadn’t told us about any specials, just showed us the menu. The guy after us asked for a 2 topping special for $10. We got a three topping for $15. She was nice tho! Other than that some of the staff seems hostile to new faces. The one older lady in particular was very friendly and loved my kids.

We love Luigi's! We've had all of the pastas, the meatball sub, and pizza and everything is always excellent. You can see the prep area when you pick up and it's very clean, it's obvious that they must constantly clean throughout the day. Staff is also friendly.

Very quaint little restaurant with dine in seating or takeout availability. The food was great with polite staff and wish we had stayed in the area longer to try more but the pizza and side of meatballs are both highly recommended.

Called in a pickup order for a pizza and some garlic bread. Since they were a bit busy they said about 45 min wait. Waited till time, went over fairly quiet as there is city paralell parking which can be full so I did have park near end and just walk down the block. Little inconvienent, but not bad. Anyhow got the pizza with no issue, staff were polite as they got my order. Went home and enjoyed a decent pizza. It was a little burned on bottom, but still nothing that was egregious and it tasted good. Well balanced bit of toppings.

I wanted a heavily loaded veggie sub and I had to keep asking and asking and asking for veggies. The girl acted like the spinach was coming out of her check. 12 leaves of spinach. Got tired of asking for more. I don't understand what the big deal was attitude each and every time. Sad. Acting like Chipotle.

I frequently stop at the Subway on the way to the airport because they're the only Subway that usually open till 10:00 p.m. in the area I was just here a few nights ago at 9:40 and received my sub amd normal service... tonight I figured I'd be a little proactive and call ahead as I was driving their 5 minutes away and call in my order that way I can get my food even faster and be out of there quicker so they wouldn't have people so close to closing time. I decided to call in my order to make things even more expeditious and the young man that answered the phone said they were not taking call in orders in fact they were closed this was about 9:35 p.m. according to the Google listing and according to a couple of days ago they close at 10:00 p.m.... I asked the young man on the phone don't you guys close at 10:00? I mentioned I was just there a couple of days ago at 9:45 and they were open he said well that was a different day this is today! In bit of a sarcastic tone... I said oh you're closing time changes by the day? Sarcastically he says yes I said okay we'll see you in about 5 minutes I continue to drive to the store and as I arrived there there's another individual pulling on the locked door so that's at least two customers whoever owns this particular location maybe you can look into your employees closing at least 30 minutes early Some Nights And Turning Away business

The cleanest Subway I’ve seen in a long time. Twice ordered via app and within 5 minutes my orders were ready. All the negative reviews are not about food or cleanliness, the two main factors really. Yes toppings can be a bit more plentiful but margins are tight these days

We walked In a requested to use the restroom before ordering, we wanted to wash hands and use their public restroom. We were told no the restroom was locked and she would not open it for paying customers. She said something happened the night before and they locked it. So we left because we were paying customers and couldn't wash our hands before ordering and eating.

We walked into the restaurant at 9:05pm to place our order. Before we even made it to the counter, the 2 teenage girls stated they weren't taking any in-house orders, only online orders. I proceeded to tell them, as we turned around to walk out, that it says they closed at 10pm and they should still be serving food. When we were in our car to leave, one of the teenagers came to the door and flipped us off and the other was flipping us off from behind the counter!!! I called and reported them last week and then again today as it has bothered me tremendously that these 2 teenagers felt they had the right to treat customers the way they.

I love this location. I go in regularly on Saturday and Sundays. Those are the best days to go in if you want AMAZING service! The food is always fresh and the building is always the cleanest! The vibe is amazing! The ladies that work on Saturday are very polite. And even though there is a bit of a language barrier on Sundays the service is still amazing! I recommend going on the weekend. I went on a weekday recently and the girl was very slow and rude. She asked my husband for his phone number right infront of me. When I asked for her name so I can report her to corporate, she said her name was Skippy and that’s what she goes by. But she told my man he can call her Kelly! She squeezed my food and it broke the wrapping paper and she smelled really bad! She also told me to clean up after myself and this subway wasn’t my home. And when I come in any other time it feels very welcoming and inviting. Overall I recommend coming in on the weekends. And if you don’t just avoid Kelly/skippy!
