For the simplicity of the fish sandwich, it was pretty good! If they added some seasoning or fancied up the bread it would be even better. You do have to purchase the fries and tartar sauce separately.

The best fish sandwich I’ve ever had - my parents are from Wheeling and ate here their whole life, as have I. I always come get a sandwich when I’m in town! Perfectly fried to perfection.

I finally made it out to Coleman's. I had the fish sandwich, deviled crab, and clam boat. They were very good and made the trip definitely worthwhile.

Coleman's is absolutely INSANE for the price. Definitely follow the advice of others + order your fish sandwich with the bread on the side so it stays crispier + allows you to keep some for later munchies. 🤭 The alligator soup was okay, but I don't think I'd get it again. Ditto on the cole slaw. Sweet + not super memorable for me. Mac + cheese was very soft in texture, but the taste was on point. I couldn't stop eating it. Would get the mac again. 👍 Fries were a solid side too. The deviled crab had a lot of filler/flavors, but it tasted pretty good. It's worth splitting with someone or getting for yourself for later. All-in-all, Coleman's is definitely worth a stop if you find yourself anywhere in the area. 💯💯💯

I don't normally eat sea food but my aunt tricked me into eating here and honestly it was super good. Everything was fresh and hot and super delicious. The environment is so friendly as well. Best part about it is the fact that there a bunch of small stores around it so once it done eating u can check out all the other lil shops. All together was pretty good experience

Coleman’s Fish Market is hands down one of the best spots in Wheeling, WV! Their fresh fish sandwiches and hometown service are unbeatable. Love this place as they always have a great selection of fresh seafood. I'm not crazy about their fish sandwich though. The white fish is good and they are not at all stingy on tgeirportions, but their breading is very lacking in flavor. Pretty bland but my husband, like thousands of others, loves it. The building is absolutely adorable. It really draws you in. There are other food stands in the building as well and I am dying to try one of them sometime. An absolute must for your fresh seafood needs, such as cioppino.

Established well known Italian restaurant in Wheeling. Quaint dark small interior with good utilization of space for guests Service was very good They would not survive in Italy! Spaghetti came with sweet marinara sauce with enough water on bottom of bowl to take a dip…, Meatballs hard overcooked and sausage was sweet but lacked zing Bottom line this restaurant would last no more than 6 days in Rome!

We found this spot when traveling. The kids wanted Italian and we were not disappointed. The staff was wonderful, the owner even stopped by to say hello to us. My husband had the surf and turf but with lobster and a pork chop which was a different opinion. He said it was fabulous. The best onion rings he’s ever had. The server even brought him a side of Marsala to dip the pork chop in. Which he normally doesn’t care for but he said the Marsala was even delicious! The cheese ravioli is clearly homemade and tastes fabulous. Our daughter said the spaghetti was the best she has ever had. Highly recommended this local spot. Next time we are in town, we will be back.

Small family run trattoria with a full bar and small outdoor patio. Very friendly and prompt service. The owner checks on customers to ensure that they're well satisfied with their meal, drinks and service. The food on the menu is fresh; so some items are limited availability, such as prime rib or lobster tails. But the high quality ingredients is obvious. I had the 20oz NY strip with mushrooms, a side dish of pasta marinara, and a house salad with raspberry vinaigrette. The steak was perfectly seared medium-rare, tender and delicious. The marinara is homemade and the best I've had in the states. It's difficult to describe the flavor or the spices used in it, but it tastes of fennel and basil yet doesn't overwhelm the tomato flavor of the sauce. Perfect. Also, I have celiac disease so I chose the restaurant because of reviews for it's careful preparation to avoid cross contamination with allergens. The gluten free pasta is cooked in dedicated gluten free utensils, and the grill is only used for meats and no gluten items. It's difficult to find a celiac friendly restaurant, and this is a great example of it. I highly recommend Figaretti's and will be sure to make it a regular stop while traveling back and forth between the DMV and Ohio (which I do at least a half dozen trips per year).

We arrived here Tuesday night for dinner. It was pretty crowded but we were in luck and got a table right away. Our server, Nichole, was fantastic. She was knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered a variety of dishes and all of us enjoyed it. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and everything was fresh and delicious. I will definitely visit again when I'm back in town.

We come to this restaurant once a month while staying at the casino. The food is always outstanding, very generous portions. The servers are phenomenal. Special shout out to Adria. She always makes us feel special and treats us like family. You won’t be disappointed with this gem of a restaurant. 🩷

I never leave reviews but this review is necessary. DO NOT GO HERE! The service was terrible. We were rushed by the waitress and she seemed very annoyed. It’s a known thing that they will rush you to get the table open again.The owner was a jerk to us and didn’t care about our concerns. Service is second to them- profit is everything. We heard the owner tell a waiter to go and tell a couple at a two person table that “they (staff) need the table”. Food is horrible- and WAY overpriced. Nothing about this place was inviting and we will never return. We would have had a better experience at McDonalds. We would highly recommend going to Undos! Great service, food, and very reasonably priced. Owners of Figarettis should take some notes, particularly Dino.

We ate there for the first time recently while visiting Wheeling based on recommendations from friends and are already planning to go back. The food is amazing - very good, nice portions, hard to beat taste. It even tastes good reheated the next day. The service was great - our server was very friendly and treated us like family. We had a chance to talk to the owner who was also very friendly and cares that everyone leaves happy and full of good, homemade food. They will cater to your needs if possible, are reasonably priced and small but not crowded. We have already recommended Figretti’s to a friend and are looking forward to going back - even though it’s about a 45-60 minute drive from our house. Highly recommended!

My initial impression of the restaurant wasn’t great, but it grew on me a little. When I entered, it took a while to get seated, and the interior felt somewhat small. However, the unique decor was definitely a positive aspect. I ordered a lemon drop cocktail, but it had very little alcohol and tasted more like water—so I didn’t order a second one. For my entrée, I chose the Wallie because of the many options available. I was thoroughly impressed and ended up finishing the entire dish. It was a fantastic recommendation from my waitress.

This is my favorite restaurant in Wheeling. Everything on the menu is great, especially the crepes. The Smores Latte is phenomenal.

We all had a different crepe but sadly I didn’t get other pictures. I had the Blueberry Hill, and it was phenomenal. My friend really enjoyed the Lox crepe. We also enjoyed the focaccia and potato salad. The atmosphere is so adorable and unique. Even my 1 year old enjoyed this restaurant!

Was part of a wedding party and we had our check covered by some unknown party. That was a very welcome surprise. The crepes were absolutely fantastic. If I return to Wheeling any time soon, I will definitely be patronizing this restaurant again.

This was a great find on the first night of our weekend in Wheeling - it might be one of the best dinners I've had. There was a bit of a wait to get in, but down the street was a little Friday evening festival so we spent the time listening to the music and window shopping. My husband and I split 2 savory crepes (the Crepe Escape, and the Crepe Shoot) and one sweet crepe (Blueberry Hill). I would be hard pressed to pick between the two crepes, the flavors on both were amazing. For the sweet Crepe we substituted honey instead of maple syrup because I am not a maple fan - it was absolutely amazing. The whipped cream was not too sweet and was a great compliment to the brie and blueberries. Delicious. We will definitely be back!

Classic pizza shop with a unique style of pizza. Great service ordering at the counter with the pizza served in boxes. Plenty of parking in the lot or on the side of the street out front. Good value for delicious pizza. The crunch of the crust is so satisfying as is the freshness of the grated cheese served cold on top.

I was visiting my daughter today at OSU & happened to walk by this pizza shop! The same pizza shop “Di Carlo’s” that I ate as a child when visiting my grandparents in Wintersville. Was curious to see if anything had changed over 30+ years and it was exactly how I remembered, even better! Everything fresh & the crispy crust is so Delicious!!! Got it as a take & bake since I had a 2 hour drive with it. Thanks Nick ! I’ll be back for sure!

Stopped by for a tray of take n bake on the way home from New Jersey. I called in the order and showed up when they told me. I stood in the store waiting for about 15 minutes. I asked another person and they pulled it from the refrigerator, it had been ready when I got there.🤨 good thing the pie is so freaking tasty!

Love this and the St. Clairsville location. I guess there is supposed to be some major differences but I don't notice them as I think they're both delicious and SUCH a local traditional favorite.

DiCarlo's Pizza is a local favorite for good reason. Their pepperoni rolls are absolutely delicious - perfect for a quick lunch or snack - and everything is very affordable. Plus, it's conveniently within walking distance from my office, which makes grabbing a bite super easy. Beyond the food, the staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit a great experience. I also appreciate how they've supported my Air Force Recruiting efforts by allowing me to share information with their customers. It's always great to see a local business that cares about both their local community and the people who serve it. Highly recommend stopping by!

The food was excellent! Staff were so helpful and accommodating! They certainly go above and beyond to make your event special. Our only complaint was that the chairs are overdue for an upgrade.

Wings, perogies, all beef hotdog. Hotdog was spicy, came with chili sauce, shredded cheddar, and was way bigger than the bun. I had not ordered them before ands did not realize the size. After eating 5 wings and sharing the perogies, I could only eat 1 of the 2 hotdogs I ordered. Very good

Generations is a vibe and whenever we pass through West Virginia, you know the boys are stopping in.

We had an amazing experience at Generations Restaurant and Pub! The perogies and boneless chicken wings were absolutely delicious — full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We also tried the liver and onions, which were done just right, and topped it off with one of their lava cake desserts — rich, warm, and decadent. Our waitress was outstanding — not only was she attentive and friendly, but she also shared a quick history of the restaurant and gave us great recommendations for places to check out while we’re visiting Wheeling. Her hospitality truly made the experience memorable. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!

It was our server's first night out of training, and she did phenomenal. This came out in conversation and we were happy to be able to build her up. She was personable, thorough, and attentive. The menu had changed some since the last time we were there, and everything sounded appetizing. We usually love the Buffalo chicken dip here, but tonight it was lukewarm. There was an abundance of pita bread, which was a pleasant surprise. My husband enjoyed the flavor of his burger. The WV dogs were a miss. They were overally wet, and I needed a knife and fork to eat them. I've had them in the past and really enjoyed them. The salad was fresh and plentiful.

We stopped here for lunch while passing through to Gettysburg National Military Park and had a wonderful experience. The food was really good, our server was better than excellent and the proces were quite reasonable.

From someone that has worked in a sports bar for over 17 years, this place is fantastic. Everyone from the host to the owner were very inviting. TV's were all on different college football games and the place was energetic. Props to the owner and the staff!

Loved this place! We were out site seeing and found this place. The service was top notch! The servers were very friendly and recommended other places to go see on our visit. The food was great and I highly recommend the fried french toast sticks with handmade cream cheese dip! The atmosphere is very friendly. Parking was a breeze and the place was very clean. The truffle fries were delicious. I had the BLT and my husband had the hangover burger. They were pretty much your basic all American dishes. We will try something more unique next time. We also dined in on a Sunday for brunch and the service was not great either.

Had a great time here! We arrived right when they opened and were seated in a nice booth in the window. They had great local alcoholic ciders that my partner and I tried. The gluten free breakfast I had was good.

The atmosphere looks nice on the inside. The customer service was ok. I ordered the frog legs and I was highly disappointed. These were the smallest I have ever seen in my life. The honey lemon pepper seasoning I had on it was delicious. So we asked could we get some of the sauce to go and that we would pay for the sauce. The chef told the waitress that he didn't have time to be making a sauce if we were not placing another order. So I do not plan to go back again.

Been here many times since its beginning, through all the changes, and I’m always excited to see the growth of this restaurant. Super creative and tasty menu. Constantly keeping things new and fresh. Lots of exclusive food events through the year as well. A must-stop spot in the Ohio Valley! Staff is always super friendly and quick as well.

We were looking for a different place for brunch and this hit the spot perfectly! Seeing where everything is sourced from on the menu showed that community is important. It also did not disappoint. We loved everything… coffee with cream , farmer Eric’s eggs Benedict, and the lemon and blueberry waffles with sausage…. All delicious! How does someone make eggs this good???

Atmosphere- located on Wheeling Island in an old neighborhood (probably not the best area of Wheeling). This restaurant felt compact. Tables were too close together and there wasn’t a lot of them. Looks to be two floors but never went upstairs to see if there was more room up there. Had to wait about ten minutes for a table even though they didn’t seem busy. Just a weird layout. Service- 4 stars- our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Food- 4 stars- enjoyed the fried dumplings and the Kung Pao Chicken. Large portions! Also got the Chicken and zucchini with garlic sauce- was supposed to be spicy but wasn’t at all- still decent but wish it had some kick to it. Overall a pretty good Chinese restaurant.

There were four of us and we all got seafood. They gave you plenty of shrimp, crab, and scallops. The entire portion of food was huge. We all took some home. I thought the food was actually better the second day. Usually parsley does not have a taste but this parsley tasted really good. I even ate the decorative radish flower. It was good too. Brooke was our waitress and she did a fantastic job. Always there when you needed her and very attentive. We will definitely go back.

Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had to date is for this really great restaurant! It doesn’t look like much on the outside but the food more than makes up for it! We tried several dishes and all of them were very tasty! A cozy and inviting atmosphere but it can be a little cramped if the restaurant is near capacity. The decor is tasteful, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Overall, if you're looking for a great Chinese meal in Wheeling, WV, you can't go wrong with Golden Chopsticks.

Not Golden anymore. I have been eating at Golden Chopsticks ever since Martin opened this place. I worked with Martin when Peking Gardens was in Wheeling. Jimmy too bless his soul. However, the quality is not what it once was since Martin sold this place and the customer service I received while ordering takeout was terrible. I miss Jimmy. He was the best!. I was told that they don’t make sweet and sour pork. Only chicken, beef, or shrimp. and the ginger salad is no more. This was one of my faves! As I was inquiring about Singapore chow mei fun the girl told me to”hold on.” After waiting for a few and being a little frustrated I hung up and called back hoping to get someone else. Another person answered and I asked him what was in the Singapore chow Mei fun. He told me veggies, egg and a protein of my choice like chicken, beef, or shrimp. I am familiar with this dish and know what goes in it. I just wanted to make sure they made it this way. So I ordered this dish with the chicken as well as the sweet and sour chicken. When I got home and opened the containers I was very disappointed at what I saw. The sweet and sour chicken is what you would get a a cheap fast food Chinese takeout. Heavy breading with very little meat and hardly any veggies. Chow mei fun did not have one sliver of chicken or veggies or egg. So sad to this place turn out the way it has. Lots of good memories though. Thanks Martin and Jimmy for the memories.

Who would have ever thought that some of the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life would come from an unassuming building located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Wheeling? Trust me when I tell you that if you are anywhere close to this restaurant you must stop! The food is excellent! Freshly prepared and delicious. Everything we ordered was delicious. Golden is a classic Chinese American restaurant in Wheeling that I have visited for decades. Food is always fresh, generous servings, efficient service, kind and gracious management, comfortable dining room, and tops in Wheeling. Our family enjoys their sushi, hot n sour soup, steamed dumplings, mapo tofu, Chinese eggplant, sesame chicken, Young chow fried rice, kung pao chicken, Chinese angel hair pasta, moo shu pork with Asian pancake wraps, bok choy with shitake mushrooms, sauteed string beans, orange beef, and steamed whole fish. You will not regret and walk out happily full.

Just got one of the worst looking pizza from here. It looked like the driver was tossing it around or dropped it half was all sauce and 3and a half pieces had a little cheese on them DON'T THINK ILL ORDER FROM THEM NOMORE and I haven't touched it. Well since I was hungry and used to love this place I tried to eat it anyway lol but it tasted wet wayyyy to much sauce like a rushed pizza wasted money wow just disappointed 😞

This place has terrible pizza. I have never had pizza and it looks like it was never in the oven. Seriously do better. I had a slice out of 6 slices and threw all out. Just couldn’t eat any more. And would it hurt to put little music on.

The pizza here is definitely an A+. I highly recommend the hot honey pepperoni with sausage crumbles. Everything we ordered was good.

First time at this location. The food was very good but they forgot all of our hash browns and almost forgot to give us our drinks. Once I got my meal and drink I realized everything had cheese on it and my cold brew was made with cold foam and whole milk. Which is very delicious but I unfortunately can’t have dairy. Especially not on a 2 hour drive. They were very busy I will admit but as someone who has worked in coffee shops, that is something that I wouldn’t let slide. I hope this review reaches management and that is something the staff can all work on to try and remember.

As always a great experience just wish they had gluten free and dietary/allergen friendly options! Miss being able to eat there. But daughter got her donuts so that was a win!

Just the worst place to get breakfast, I ordered a sausage bagel, the egg was green, the sausage was undercooked,got an orange juice it was just water and concentrate, the people there are cool but the food is 1/10 avoid if at all possible. I’m originally from buffalo where we have a Tim Hortons on every block. When i moved here i expected a great experience like ive had before. I was sadly disappointed numerous times because every time I've visited, the staff working has been incredibly rude. I’ve never been to a fast food location where the staff is consistently rude every time i go through there. This is not a unique experience i’ve had several friends experience the same. Do better.

Went through the drive thru to order some donuts for my family and ended up wasting not only my money but also my time. I tried to order a dozen dipped donuts which they then told me they didn’t have and suggested the double chocolate dipped donuts, which is fine but I had told them I didn’t want those. While I was trying to find another donut to order they then told me they did in fact have the dipped donuts but only 10. I told them I would take those and two of the chocolate glazed ones. I checked out and thought everything was fine. When I got home I realized that they had just given my 10 of the double chocolate dipped donuts, which i has specifically said I didn’t want. I tried calling and speaking with a manager about getting the right donuts or a refund. Turns out this “manager” was the one who had taken my order and remembered me specifically asking for the double chocolate dipped donuts and claimed that he couldn’t do anything about it because that’s what I had apparently ordered, news to me. I definitely won’t be going back there if they can’t even fix their mistakes.

They left a $50 order and trusted me to go to bank and come back which I oc did and tipped him $15 just for being so cool and trusting me like that. Great food. Great people. Great service. They are amazing will definitely order from here again!

These people are amazing!! A great family who work really hard! They deliver food in a timely manner, if they forget something or mess it up (which has only happened once in the 15 years iv been ordering) they make sure to come back and/or correct it fast. The food was delicious as always, but this time we found a 1 inch long stick in the noodles. It's definitely wooden and not a burn piece of noodle. It could be part of a skewer or the tip of a chop stick? Thankfully nobody choked.

I ordered 2 boneless ribs and steak and onion the first boneless ribs were fine the other two that I ordered had raw meat and grayish tints hope I don't get food poisoning...

Absolutely disgusting. Greasy bland food. Asked for chicken fried rice and got 4 pieces of chicken in it and zero veggies and I asked for extra veggies. The place was a complete mess too. Never again. 🤮

I have eaten at this restaurant many times and am always completlely satisfied with the tofu with mixed vegetables which is a great vegetarian dish. The staff is very friendly and they even make spring rolls for me. Please visit Panda Chinese.

I’m ngl I only gave them a two because Iknow they can do so much better. But the food was really bad 😭, how do you mess up the basics. I’m sorry to leave this review but literally had to throw away $50 worth of food 🥲. I really had high hopes, unfortunately was let down.

Ordered 5 meals for delivery. Food was delivered promptly. Order fot Crispy Noodles and beef had no beef. Order for Hunan Chicken was not delivered. Instead we received an order that appeared to be Hunan Beef but there was nothing spicy about it. In fact all of the food was bland and almost tasteless.

I ordered 3 egg rolls based on reviews of this place. It was on my drive home. I got there 10 mins after I ordered, like they said. The egg rolls were fried so hard and brown that we could not bite them . We had to scoop out the filling to eat it. It appears they cook the egg rolls then fry them again to warm them up!

I went based on the good reviews. Well, this wasn't the same place in the reviews. I would have missed it had I not used GPS. Old building without any recognition of it being a restaurant with the exception of a small, barely readable sign on a pole. Inside was old and drab and the only person there was an employee(?) sitting at a table playing with his phone. We stood in front of him unnoticed for some time so I spoke up. He seemed startled but got up and seated us at a table next to a full trash can and a window with live and dead flies on the sill. We almost left then but decided to try hoping the food was going to make up for it. We ordered the fried pork dumpling appetizer. The pork inside was a little pink so we didn't finish. We also ordered the crispy duck and the ginger duck (again, per other reviews). The crispy duck had no flavor and mostly really dry. The sauce or the ginger duck was actually good but the duck was the same minus any crispy skin. All the while we kept swatting at the flies buzzing around the table. Normally I wouldn't have been as accommodating or patient... we saw it through a half-eaten plate and decided it was time to get the check and leave without any intention of returning. I can't in good conscience recommend this place.

First off let me premise this review by saying the food is very good and the restaurant is clean. That being said my experience was excellent until I used a gift card to pay on my last visit July 1st. The first card I used said declined but it pre authorized the card for the amount which deducted from my gift card balance . I used a second gift card from the same company and it was approved. I brought up my concern to the host and he said oh it will go back on the card . Well it's a full week later and the funds are still in a holding pattern . I even stopped just to talk to the host about this matter and he said it's the gift card companies problem not his. Never offered anything. So at this time I won't be frequenting this establishment anymore . They clearly can see they charged me twice and just say wait. I waited and now I'll spend my local dollars somewhere else. Treat people better . Especially locals who live in the neighborhood.

We ordered orange chicken and general TSO chicken. Both bland. The chicken tasted like it was microwaved, very chewy, not that crunchy coating. No signage for extra charges, but apparently fried rice, which was also tasteless, is $1 more. We ordered water. Then Mom asked for tea, he charged both of us for tea. And she said it was bitter, she could only dip twice. The egg roll with the lunch was over done, burned almost. This was the worst Chinese food I've ever tasted. Mom said this used to be the best Chinese food in Wheeling. So disappointing.

We were so very proud to offer Vocelli Pizza from Wheeling WV to our guests this evening at Benwood Pool. Everyone loved it. It was a successful and fun-filled event. They delivered 13 large pizzas, breadsticks and Cannolis which made it easier for us. Can’t thank them enough for the friendly service and truly delicious home style pizza. My family & I have called in orders for pick up and delivery. The staff has always answered the phone promptly and they are always friendly. Mrs. Marcy is our favorite!!! Pizza is always a 10/10 and the chicken pesto pasta is surprisingly very good! I’ve never had a disappointing meal here and also had a wonderful catering experience for my baby shower as well.

We ordered an order of alfredo and a large cheese pizza. I'm a member of the rewards program and have ordered pizza here for a long time, and part of why we like it here is that the staff is generally nice and the pizza is so yummy and very cheesy. We noticed the pizza we received was definitely smaller than usual, and very bare. You could see more tomato sauce and bubbles than you could see cheese. We measured it with a ruler and it was 12" in some spots, 13" in other spots. Large pizzas are supposed to be 14". It was given to us in an xl box, but the tape measure showed it didn't even measure up to a large. Maybe if it was otherwise stellar and cheesy like normal vocellis, we would have shrugged and been ok with it, but it was so dry and scarce with cheese, that we tried calling the restaurant. We spoke to a lady and told her what happened and then asked to speak to the manager, and then they hung up the phone. We called back multiple times immediately and they would not pick up. We drove all the way down there, and the manager told us that we are "seeing it wrong because it's in an xl box." We told him we measured it, but he didn't care and ignored us. We also told him that this is much less cheese than normal. Again - this pizza was only like 50% covered by cheese. He said "that's the normal cheese that we always put on" and then when we asked "well can we have some more, because this is never what our pizzas from here look like," he grabbed a handful of cheese with his hand, threw it on our now-cold pizza, closed the box, and said "look now you have EXTRA CHEESE" and scoffed at us. Super unprofessional and honestly really disappointing, because we have always had good experiences here, but now we'll just go somewhere else and have others do the same because the staff couldn't even be remotely respectful. We are not stuck up Karens by any means, some of us literally used to work in pizza shops, and just honestly wanted them to remake it, but they treated us like they thought we were idiots for asking. It was embarrassing. I have pictures of the pizza with a tape measure for size, and I have pictures of what it looked like when the manager angrily threw cheese on the pizza and gave it back to us raw.

Great little spot. 1st time here from Morgantown. Friendly service and lots of options to choose from. I had the Barking Dog and the Sloppy Dog with a side of the fresh cut fries. Great seasoning on the fries and each dog had its own unique taste. Definitely check this place out... don't mind the construction in the street.

My wife and I were traveling home to Indiana from Pittsburgh and stopped by Tito’s for lunch. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. I had the coney, West Virginia, and Nailer and they were all excellent. I’ll definitely come again when we go to Pittsburgh.

Went for the first time on Friday and the food was great! I ordered the Fry Sauce Burger with Waffle Fries, definitely would order again! The menu is full of all kinds of choices to fit your appetite! Atmosphere was also great! Great people, great customer service, and all around great people! Can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu! If you are driving by, or need a new place for lunch.. make sure you try out Tito's Sloppy Doggs!!

Pretty cool place. Lots of different dogs to choose from. Parking is on the street and plenty of seating inside. We sat right by the window looking out onto the street. Plenty of folks from all around the world have visited. They got a map inside where you can pin where your from.

Fantastic place to grab a hotdog! Large menu filled with hotdogs, hamburgers, salads, sides and more! Service was great and quick! Can’t wait to go back and try something new.

Visiting here from out of town. Was not impressed. The people working there were nice but the food sucked. Food didn’t really have taste. Save your money not worth the $50 we spent.

Avenue Eats in Wheeling, WV is easily one of my favorite burger spots in town. Their roasted jalapeño and smoked gouda burger is packed with flavor, and the hand-cut fries with gravy are a must-try. The atmosphere is fun and laid-back, with a cool interior design and a beautiful river view that makes it stand out. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which just adds to the experience. I got the poutine burger, and it was delicious. The fries were fresh cut and crispy, not one bit soggy. The cupcakes were a bit boring for 4 bucks a piece but tasted fine. It's an open area atmosphere and kind of loud at times but not bad. I'll definitely be going back.

Beautiful building and atmosphere. I ordered the Caprese chicken salad and my husband ordered the poutine burger. You order your drinks and food separately. And pick up your drinks at the bar. Then they bring your food out to you. The food was decent we both felt that the dishes were lacking flavor though. Overall a decent spot.

Was here visiting for the PBR event. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the roasted jalapeño burger and fries. Will come back again if ever in town.

Great food, great service, never disappoints. Personal fave is sloppy Joe (add cheddar) and Classic Burger. I like to grab a soda from the bar and eat outside by the river. An absolute local treasure & generous business often giving back to the community in quiet & profound ways. Highly recommend.

Definitely a hit or miss as I had their pizza twice in one weekend. Friday evening would have been one star as there was no thickness to the crust. Was crunchy but very thin. Service was ok as they came out to parking lot fairly quickly and not long of a wait for the pizza. They were far from busy as only me and a couple others there at near 10:30pm. Saturday night the event I was at ordered a few trays and it was really good. Nice crust and good flavor. Would have been five stars on its own. As far as atmosphere I can only talk for Friday night. It’s a parking lot and has all the atmosphere one would expect from one. I would prefer to do it the old way and go in to get the order

In town visiting an old friend. I asked about Wheeling's food scene and if there is anything that Wheeling is known for. He told me about this place. We ended up picking up (car pickup, no inside service) a full tray with two bags of pepperoni and two bags of banana peppers. The pizza is much better than the description lol. I thought of it as microwaved pizza lunchables before I had my first bite. I think I get it. To achieve crust/bread this crisp (on the bottom and the crust), you would need to bake it for a long time. In that time, the cheese would become burnt (like reheating a slice too long). Adding the cheese after baking ensures the cheese is never burnt. I can't say the toppings are very good. They don't have the same character/texture/taste when they haven't been kissed with heat. Getting them in a Walmart Ziploc bag is funny though. I feel like it would be fun to picnic with. I like the spirit of doing things a certain way whether people like them or not. Worth a try if you're into pizza. Have to say, it was surprisingly unique... something that is hard to say about pizza in 2024.

Waited 45 minutes for a half tray… they make you wait outside in your car now. The woman who took my money didn’t give me any change.. no big deal, but then when the pizza came it was cold… the crust tastes like it was made 3 days ago and then barely reheated… worst square pizza in the area, which is a shame because it used to be my favorite…. If I wanted frozen pizza I would just go to Krogers…. Wellsburg or Weirton Dicarlo’s will be getting my business from now on.

A West Virginia original! A wholly unique pizza experience. A totally awesome, one of a kind pizza. There is no indoor seating. There is not an insids for customers. They will bring your order to your vehicle. When you place your order via phone call they assign your order a number. When you park in the parking lot a car hop comes to your car and you tell them your order number. They bring your order to your vehicle.

I love Patsy’s! The pizza is always excellent. This place is a Wheeling essential and you’ll never taste anything quite like it anywhere else. Park in the lot and they ask for your number, then bring you your pizza. This is a good system that avoids standing and waiting inside, because it’s always packed. It’s wise to order ahead and check their hours by driving by or calling (Patsy sometimes goes on vacation). Take-out only. Make sure to ask for lots of bags of extra cheese. Perfect for parties and gatherings. My family from out of town loves it and insists we order it every time they’re around.

Haven’t had pizza from you since before Patsy’s became the name…. Well, it was a waste of my time and $$! It used to be the best, but you must have changed cheese, because it’s tasteless plastic! Crust is hard as a brick, and so much sauce it’s like soup!! And sadly it tastes like Campbells tomato soup with spices!! Since you can’t go in the building, I asked for napkins, and the seemingly stoned boy, never brought them…

I’ve been going to dicarlos in elm grove for a long time! And then the owner retired and now it’s patsys and as always the pizza is amazingly delicious probably ate my weight in pizza because you always get this pizza when visiting. They come out and is curb side now and the girl Brooke was super nice and funny! 10/10 recommend stoping by - you get either cheese pizza or pepperoni- or on the side . Yummy

"Fast Food" is not an accurate description for this place. I get my food quicker at restaurants. Can't tell you how many times my orders were wrong and when I have complained about the wait times I've gotten nothing but attitude and excuses. I hate to leave a review like this, but after 3 years of dealing with this I felt something needed said especially since today a mobile order for ice coffee was made and after letting them know I'd arrived, it took another 20 minutes before I got the coffee. Unreal.

Nobody working the counter. I wanted to use cash but after 10 minutes of waiting I finally opted to use the self serve kiosk - I will never again. After placing your order it hits you with 5 different attempts at upscale prompts. Everything about the experience is just terrible anymore.

Went to drive through everything was fine. Need to use the restroom and this is the filthiest grossest most disgusting place imaginable. I can only blame the managers because it's just gross as can be and who tells the people to clean the bathroom question mark managers. Anyhow just disgusting.

Food is decent, however, the store needs quality control checkers before food goes out to the customers as orders are mostly incorrect and usually missing items or have items u didn't order at all ! They don't check the orders before letting DD drivers deliver them resulting in angry kids and ALOT of refund requests and it's a hassle. It's a pain when it happens 90 % of the time! Do better McDonald's!!!

Two sausage burritos took 20 minutes? Absolute insanity and chaos! Started in drive thru that didn’t move for 10 minutes then inside with 20 others waiting for food. This is absolutely ridiculous and they need to get it together. McDonald’s is FAST food, not gourmet food.

Came here with my bf on a Saturday evening with no wait. We are not from the area and were pleased with our experience. Fast & friendly service, food was good, portion and cost was also very good. Our total was around $33 and we ordered a beer, sweet potato fries w/ ground beef, quesa birria tacos and chips & queso.

Went here before a show at The Capitol Theater; not knowing the city we stopped at the place by the BRIDGE and they were rude, but luckily we found this gem. I didn’t expect them to serve beer and I wanted a drink with my meal. Call me wrong, GREAT BEER SELECTION. They were packed and of course the food took longer than I would guess is normal, but the small amount of workers worked their butts off and were so polite and absolutely as attentive as they could be. The tacos were delicious, could have used more flavor in the guacamole, but it was fresh and cold so we were happy. Thanks for a good night!

Food is great, 6 tacos and 2 beers for two people was $42.00. But they were DAMN GOOD! Beer could be a little colder. You sort of have to wait on yourself as well.

Love what this place is doing, especially in the downtown Wheeling area, the city needs some awesome places with great food and great atmosphere, and this is one of them. They have a beer especially brewed for them, cannot remember the name, but it was pretty solid. Started off with chips and salsa (both made in-house) and I was a big fan, immediately knew the grub would be good. Went for the 3-pack Tacos Campechanos and was not disappointed - great flavor, portion size for the price. They have Karaoke and live music as well - definitely dig it, next time I am in town I will be going back.

Really good food for a reasonable price. Local beers are available and the atmosphere is fantastic. The pleasant staff, beautiful wooden bar top, exposed brick walls and unique fare give it a big city feeling with small town charm. I will certainly be going back.

Flashback...2000's... downtown Greensburg, PA taverns. Nice to catch a glimpse of the past that was a cool part of my hometown. A pleasant dinner along memory lane, sort of. Taqueria makes good, authentic cuisine which everyone in my party of 3 enjoyed. The Barrias were amazing. Service was a little slow but only the bartender was working out front. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. Lastly, the prices were more than reasonable. Just a cool side note...I asked the bartender for a go cup of pop and he happily obliged. It's the little things that really leave an impression.

Not a bad little taco place. Have a decent selection of beers, wine, and cider, but no alcohol. Place is small, and you order at the bar. Tacos were tasty, and the sauces that were marked “hot” were tasty and spicy. We got a variety of proteins, and they all had decent flavor. The only disappointment was the guacamole was not made fresh and you could tell it was from a squeeze bottle. Would go back if in the area.

I have not had DeFelice Pizza in about 25 years. I remember eating it as a kid. It was one of my favorites. I was a little hesitant that it wouldn't be what I remembered. From that first bite, it reminded my of the Ohio Valley area. It was delicious. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating and kind. Thank you again for helping us bring it to my kids and giving them a piece of my childhood

!!!! UPDATE!!!!! Very rude and dismissive over the phone. Very expensive for food that wasn’t made with love 💔 have been a customer for years and the service has sadly never improved. On Valentine’s Day they did a great job with the polite service and made my girl happy…. however the heart shaped pizza was awful and we had to go out again and buy more food. Complete waste of time, money, and energy. Management is extremely unprofessional and does not care about customer satisfaction. Instead of correcting the issue or giving any form of professionalism… I was told and I quote “whatever” 😂😂😂😂 STAY FAR AWAY

We ordered a pepperoni pizza, the pizza did not come with any pepperoni. We added bacon to one side of it. We called back to tell them they did our order wrong, and the guy who won’t give us his name, says he’s the manager said he made it himself and called me a liar. Argued with us on the phone and we just wanted them to give us another pizza on another day. We did not want to drive all the way back today. He called us liars and said that 9/10 times people call just to get something free. I even offered to send him a photo. He continued to argue with us and say rude comments to us on the phone even after we said we were done arguing. WORST experience I’ve ever had at a pizza place. The pizza wasn’t even cut, it ripped into other pieces as you took one. I’m super upset, and could not believe someone wouldn’t train him properly. He said he was the general manager but wouldn’t give me his name

Nice crunchy crust. Delivered intact. Girl that took the order was friendly. Delivery was faster than expected and a normal friendly delivery guy.

If you order online for pickup, be prepared to receive your order 15 minutes after the time specified. This is the third time in three months this has happened.

Pizza was delicious. The delivery time was a bit long (1 hour 15 min) but in the end it was worth the wait. Next time I am in town this is my go to spot

Came out to tell me my order was ready. Pizza was perfectly made with care! You can tell they placed each pepperoni on the deep dish and crazy bread and it was sooo good! I ordered stuffed crazy bread, pepperoni crazy bread, pepperoni deep dish, and pepperoni stuffed crazy crust and took pictures cause it was so beautifully done! we ate all the stuffed crazy before taking pictures but everything was beyond our expectations! I stopped in on 9/27/2025 in the afternoon. I don’t remember the gentleman’s name and I threw my receipt away but he was very nice and great. The food and service was amazing. I ordered a couple of pizzas and the Philly cheesesteak puffs. The pretzel crust pizza has become my new favorite and the puffs were kick ass. Thank you for such great service you guys rock

They are over charging more than the prices they advertise! I went to order online and it wouldn't work so I called in and went to pick up my order. She gave me my total and it was $5.35 more than if I ordered online. I asked about it and she said she didn't know why and couldn't help me then turn around as if I was asking something crazy. After comparing the online order and my receipt I saw they are over charging on the pizza. They even have advertising that shows the price it should be. I asked her again why she was charging more than the advertisement and she said she didn't know. There were multiple people waiting for pizza for over an hour. They seemed to be short staffed also. I understand employees can't control the prices, but they can try to fix the problem. The managers should staff more than two people and shouldn't be ripping customers off!

Reasonably priced pizza that tastes better than the more expensive chain competitors. Appropriate wait times and good service. I have never been disappointed with this Little Caesars, the quality is consistent and reliable.

I assumed this was the supervisor he was a black man with a long beard. The young man who was working there who was doing the best that he can and ask what was the name of the order and this man yelled at him and said don,t pay attention to those people finish your order and he said a lot of orders I realized that. We felt disrespected and then young man said sorry took so long and it wasn't,t your that person was the problem and then supervisor screamed at us and told us don't come back.

Hot 'n' Ready pizzas aren't fresh so "you get what you pay for ". Make an order so they're hot and fresh.

I almost always use online ordering to avoid excessive wait times because they are always busy. Have never had an issue with the food and the staff is nice and prompt.

The chicken mashed potatoes, and coleslaw was good , but the mac and cheese was really disgusting couldnt even taste the noodles , can't talk about the biscuits couse the cook was bitching about make more because it was 9:20 at night so the cashier said don't worry about it I'll take care of it and gave us a b.s reason and told us we could just have an extra side. Didn't really want an extra side but wasn't given a choice really.

Worst experience at this location I've had. Overdone nugs, they gave us 0 sauces for the 20$ box! Called the store,it rang the first time someone picked up and then hung up, then tried several more times and no answer. Will not be back. Probably will just make my own fried chicken from now on. Got food there on 8.4.25. We went through the drive thru. No customers in the store. Placed our order, paid for it, went home. At home I discovered that my order was wrong and stale. My fries had to come from the very bottom of the last batch, fried the day before. The biscuit was hard and I got crispy, instead of original! There was confusion at the checkout, but a young lady came to the window and settled the issue! The only thing that was done to satisfaction was the coleslaw! Better off going to Chic Fil A!

Food was good people were good I really enjoyed it last night I ate the 4pc dark with mash and gravy with Mac n cheese and food was great the lobby is cleaned bathrooms cleaned really is a good restaurant to eat the service was perfect I will advise to eat here and try it out.

sandwich was so messy it was almost inedible. not toasted correctly. called to store to ask for a refund/remake at a later time because i had to go to work and the manager was no help at all. he said “well when you order extra cheese and extra sauce it’s going to come out.” this is not a problem i have ever had before and this has been my subway order for 10 years 😂.

This was one of my favorite Subways, until recently. Now, with the help of its new employees, it has become one of the worst. I stood and waited for service for 20 minutes and I was the only customer. There were 6 employees and only 2 working on the online orders. The one working with the meats and bread had dilated pupils and seemed to be high on something other than THC. It took her nearly 5 minutes just to put peperoni on a 6-inch sub and slurred her speech when she spoke. When this woman asked for help the other employees ignored her and retreated to the back. Eventually a young man came from the back to help, but unfortunately, he also suffered from similar symptoms as her but worked at a faster pace. I will give a positive shout out to a young girl, perhaps a high schooler, with a long ponytail working with the vegetables. She was very kind, helpful and sweet. You could see the embarrassment in her eyes. So, I made it a point to reflect that kindness back.

ordered online today and waited an entire hour to receive two sandwiches. nobody was in the store besides myself and one other person with an online order. the worker ignored the both of us, was rude to her coworker that came in to assist her, and told other customers to leave when they walked through the door. extremely unprofessional

Online app and google allowed me to place an order. The app showed that they would be open until 9 pm. Show up to pick up my order and the door is locked with the deadbolt, even though the neon open sign is lit up and all of the lights are on. It looked like it had been abandoned by the employees. Paid for my food online prior to picking it up, and never received it. Not only did I not get my sub, I did not get any lunch due to my small lunch break time frame. Called elm grove subway and was told they had received many calls lately about that exact issue.

Unbelievably slow service under the new ownership, the last 3 times I was in it was 20 minutes at 12:30-1:00. Used to be much faster. Don’t want to waste my whole lunch in line.
